- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Haven't got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fat it uh huh, I show
- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody y'all listening to the bars, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show, Man on man on man. Grateful for
- 2:14Speaker 1: it comes with a huge amount of responsibility. I didn't
- 2:18Speaker 1: really know I was gonna have to be this responsible,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know. Um, can I share something with y'all? I
- 2:24Speaker 1: started out to Finally I had gotten on track and
- 2:28Speaker 1: was able to see a way to even pursue my dream.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It has been a long, a long trip that I've
- 2:36Speaker 1: been on, and I've gone through so many phases of it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It is rewarding along the way to accomplish your dreams.
- 2:45Speaker 1: What I'm saying is this, let me let me put
- 2:47Speaker 1: it together, because I got so much running through my
- 2:49Speaker 1: head right now. You know it's it's one thing to
- 2:53Speaker 1: accomplish your dream, but there's joy in the process of
- 2:58Speaker 1: achieving it. See, some people are so caught up in
- 3:03Speaker 1: the goal, the final goal, that they find no joy,
- 3:09Speaker 1: no enjoyment in the process. If you have found what
- 3:15Speaker 1: it is you want to do and you strike out
- 3:19Speaker 1: on that journey, please understand you are far more blessed
- 3:24Speaker 1: than the average person. Do you understand that to know
- 3:28Speaker 1: what it is you really want to do, to find
- 3:32Speaker 1: your work in life, your purpose, to find out what
- 3:37Speaker 1: direction you want to go in, is such a blessing.
- 3:40Speaker 1: The average person if you sit down and talk to them,
- 3:44Speaker 1: oftentimes don't have their life on track. And it'd be
- 3:48Speaker 1: some people that you're looking at you think, God it
- 3:50Speaker 1: going on because of their appearance, their swagger, or they
- 3:55Speaker 1: walk like it, they talk like it, they look like it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: But if you sit down and talk to the average person,
- 4:00Speaker 1: the average person man does not know what their purpose is,
- 4:06Speaker 1: has not discovered what they want to do, and have
- 4:09Speaker 1: no idea how to get that. If you are on
- 4:12Speaker 1: the other side of that, if you understand your purpose,
- 4:16Speaker 1: if you have an idea of what you want to
- 4:18Speaker 1: be and you are on your way there. You are
- 4:22Speaker 1: truly blessed, and in that blessing, you must recognize it
- 4:27Speaker 1: as a blessing. You must recognize the fact that you
- 4:32Speaker 1: are you are on the right side, and that there
- 4:36Speaker 1: should be a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of
- 4:40Speaker 1: pride in you that you are on track to accomplish
- 4:43Speaker 1: your goal. See what used to happen was sometimes I
- 4:47Speaker 1: used to keep my nose so on the grindstone that
- 4:52Speaker 1: I wouldn't even look up and realize. Man, hey, man,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I know you're trying to get here, but Steve, hold on, man,
- 4:59Speaker 1: can't you se see what you've done so far? Can't
- 5:02Speaker 1: you find just some joy in the process. See, a
- 5:05Speaker 1: lot of us lose the joy of the blessings God
- 5:09Speaker 1: has given us because we're looking at the end. Tomot,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I ain't there yet. You on your way. I'm gonna
- 5:15Speaker 1: give you an example. I had a friend who told
- 5:17Speaker 1: me that they wanted to be a million now, and
- 5:21Speaker 1: they asked me some questions and I told him, so
- 5:24Speaker 1: they started the process, and I am telling you, this
- 5:29Speaker 1: dude works extremely hard. So about a year later we
- 5:35Speaker 1: were talking. He had found this business. He had set
- 5:42Speaker 1: his goal, and he was working towards it. Then about
- 5:46Speaker 1: two years later, I ran up into him again. We
- 5:48Speaker 1: were talking about it and everything. It's a man, really
- 5:51Speaker 1: really appreciate the advice. He said, Man, but this is
- 5:55Speaker 1: all jacked up, man, because I still ain't made that
- 5:58Speaker 1: million I was talking about. I said, well, hey, man,
- 6:01Speaker 1: just just keep at it. It's coming. He's a man.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Keep at it. Man, you know how long I've been
- 6:06Speaker 1: doing this? And I got quiet because, yeah, I know
- 6:09Speaker 1: exactly how long you've been been two years now. And
- 6:12Speaker 1: I didn't say that to him, but I said to myself, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 1: two years. He said, Man, I've been grinding so long. Man,
- 6:18Speaker 1: it's just it ain't having it from me. I said,
- 6:21Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, hold on, hold on. I said,
- 6:23Speaker 1: about how much you're making right now a year, man,
- 6:27Speaker 1: about two hundred and fifty thousand. I quit breathing. I said, well,
- 6:33Speaker 1: my man, two years ago you didn't have a clue.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Two years later, you're making a quarter of a million dollars.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I said, man, do you understand how blessed you are?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I said, man, your family was about to get put
- 6:50Speaker 1: out two years ago. You don't bought a house. Yeah, man,
- 6:55Speaker 1: but this ain't the house. I really won't. Ohh Pardner,
- 6:58Speaker 1: whoa I got that? I got that house? You really
- 7:02Speaker 1: won't make Mike call five eight million. I don't know.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But man, y'all got a house. You're making the payments,
- 7:09Speaker 1: you drive it. You ain't out no more. I said, holder. Man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you got to stop. I said, you got to stop.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I said, man, because right now, man, you you coming
- 7:15Speaker 1: across as real ungrateful to me. So I know, God,
- 7:19Speaker 1: who has done all this for you got to be
- 7:21Speaker 1: looking at you with his own folding. But then he God,
- 7:24Speaker 1: so he probably handled it all together different. I was
- 7:26Speaker 1: just speculating with him, and so he said, man, why
- 7:28Speaker 1: are you tripping like that? Man? Man, you act like
- 7:31Speaker 1: don't nobody want to have nothing but you? I said, whoa, man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: where are you going with this conversation? I said, Oh,
- 7:36Speaker 1: I didn't come to you. I just came to you
- 7:37Speaker 1: and ask you how you doing. And I'm trying to
- 7:40Speaker 1: point out to you that the journey that you started on,
- 7:44Speaker 1: that you are on your way, and you are in
- 7:46Speaker 1: the process of accomplishing your goals, and can you not
- 7:49Speaker 1: feel some joy and some pleasure in your accomplishment? Quit
- 7:53Speaker 1: tripping on the fact that you ain't made a million
- 7:55Speaker 1: yet you on your way. You don't went from your
- 7:58Speaker 1: He thought this dude was making fit. Ain't thousand dollars
- 8:00Speaker 1: a year? You made' quarter of a million dollars in
- 8:02Speaker 1: two years. Man, come on, man, can't you see? Can't
- 8:05Speaker 1: you see? So? He said? Eventually a man, I kind
- 8:09Speaker 1: of see what you're saying. But that ain't about nothing
- 8:11Speaker 1: to me because I ran up into him a year
- 8:14Speaker 1: and a half later. How you doing, man, man, I showed,
- 8:20Speaker 1: wish I'd appreciate it my life when I had it
- 8:22Speaker 1: like that? I said, what you mean, had it like
- 8:24Speaker 1: that and just fell on some hard times? Man, I'm
- 8:28Speaker 1: right back why I was. And then we talked. I said, ay, man,
- 8:32Speaker 1: don't worry about it. I said. Once you know how
- 8:33Speaker 1: to accomplish something, I said, you just reapply the same
- 8:36Speaker 1: principles and start on over again. Man, you know how
- 8:39Speaker 1: hard it is to be to start over. Okay, my man,
- 8:41Speaker 1: hold up, partner, you can't do yourself like this again. First,
- 8:45Speaker 1: you wasn't grateful for what you had. Now you're looking
- 8:48Speaker 1: at the fact that you might have to start over,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and you know how hard it is to start over.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But you have the knowledge the principles, and you got
- 8:55Speaker 1: a little bit of money to go on and get
- 8:56Speaker 1: it going again. I said, Man, don't keep doing this
- 8:59Speaker 1: to yourself. I said, man, you ain't grateful no matter
- 9:01Speaker 1: what God do for you. So what you need to do,
- 9:04Speaker 1: Pardner stop reassess yourself the fact that you were not
- 9:09Speaker 1: grateful in the first place. Could that be the reason why?
- 9:13Speaker 1: You know? Man, maybe I'm not calling it because I
- 9:15Speaker 1: ain't God. I do not know how he think, nor
- 9:17Speaker 1: do I claim to know. But let's just imagine for
- 9:20Speaker 1: a moment. Let's just say, maybe for a moment, maybe
- 9:26Speaker 1: God said, Okay, you ain't happy with this. Okay, didn't
- 9:31Speaker 1: handle it your way? You obviously ain't happy with the
- 9:33Speaker 1: way I'm bringing it into your life. You want to
- 9:36Speaker 1: handle it your way, Go ahead and handle it because
- 9:37Speaker 1: he will let you have it your way. Can I
- 9:39Speaker 1: tell you that he will let you do it exactly
- 9:42Speaker 1: the way you want to it because He gives us
- 9:44Speaker 1: all the power of choice. So then maybe he said, Okay,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you don't appreciate the way I'm doing it. You don't
- 9:49Speaker 1: like the favor I'm showing you. You think it's take
- 9:52Speaker 1: it too long. I'm gonna let you do it your way.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm not gonna turn my back on you. I'm just
- 9:56Speaker 1: gonna let you do it your way. Just just say.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Maybe he said that, and now he right back where
- 10:01Speaker 1: he was. So what I try to get the young
- 10:03Speaker 1: cat to understand was, man, appreciate your life for what
- 10:07Speaker 1: it is. Because like life, Jenny's got that song that
- 10:11Speaker 1: he got out off this album. Still I still believe
- 10:14Speaker 1: it could have been worse, and now that it is worse.
- 10:18Speaker 1: What's on your mind now, folks, if you are on
- 10:22Speaker 1: that side of life where you have figured out what
- 10:24Speaker 1: you want to do, you know how you're gonna get that,
- 10:26Speaker 1: and you know your purpose. You're accomplishing what the majority
- 10:30Speaker 1: of people never ever do. So be grateful for your process.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Don't tumble yourself, don't throw yourself off to cliff. It's
- 10:37Speaker 1: gonna be all right. Success takes a measure of time.
- 10:41Speaker 1: It is not easy. If success were easy, everybody would
- 10:45Speaker 1: be successful. All right, y'all. I'm sorry this morning if
- 10:49Speaker 1: I sounded a little all over the place, in a
- 10:51Speaker 1: little jumble, but that's how it came to me. So
- 10:54Speaker 1: you know, uh, y'all, keep your head up, ladies and gentlemen, boys,
- 11:03Speaker 1: and girls, animals, creatures, cartoonish road runners and Kyle Hoodies,

- 12:25Speaker 1: investigation post in next week coming to an end. Man.

- 12:35Speaker 1: see it. Oh no, they be saying that, though they

- 12:44Speaker 1: Jesse gotta turn itself in. Yeah, he's been Yeah, that's

- 13:28Speaker 1: because y'all don't understand the depth of it. Well, you ain't.
- 13:34Speaker 1: None of this stunning to me. It's just the veracity
- 13:39Speaker 1: that it comes out, the timing of it. Many a
- 13:43Speaker 1: noted he surprised me. You are you are Justice, Smo,
- 13:47Speaker 1: Lie Justice. You've been waiting to say that. You gotta
- 13:57Speaker 1: let me have it. You gotta let me have it up.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Ain't come Friday night West him have it. I'm sorry.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It belongs to all comedians at this point. I'm sorry.
- 14:08Speaker 1: It is old and popping. Little Duvald and already started
- 14:12Speaker 1: all right, then we anything, let's go. Oh no, but
- 14:16Speaker 1: if you go to Little Duval's Instagram, he on it
- 14:19Speaker 1: all right, coming up, we're gonna switch gears and lighten
- 14:22Speaker 1: things up. We'll talk about the Smolett thing all morning.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I'm sure he had already lightened it up. Yeah. Well, anyway,
- 14:29Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hours, Steve, questions
- 14:32Speaker 1: to ask your partner before you commit long term. We'll
- 14:36Speaker 1: bring in the CLO, the Chief Love Officer coming up
- 14:40Speaker 1: right after. I'm going to the stow. Anybody want to
- 14:42Speaker 1: foot loan? Anybody you're listening to String show? All right,
- 14:48Speaker 1: the Chief Love Officer, the CLO is in the building
- 14:51Speaker 1: and Steve, it's a big decision, you know, to enter
- 14:54Speaker 1: into a long term relationship, and before you take that step,
- 14:58Speaker 1: make sure you are on solid would you agree with that? Steve? Well, yeah, okay,
- 15:03Speaker 1: all right. The commitment doesn't need to come with a ring,
- 15:06Speaker 1: but you should present your boot with certain questions and
- 15:09Speaker 1: it helps you both to know what you're getting into. So, Steve,
- 15:14Speaker 1: what about these questions? I'm going to read the questions
- 15:16Speaker 1: off to give me your opinions on these questions. All right,
- 15:20Speaker 1: you can ask your your your significant other this, what
- 15:24Speaker 1: are you willing to sacrifice for this relationship? Good question?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Not necessarily because that's an open ended question, because if
- 15:33Speaker 1: you ask a guide, it what are you willing to
- 15:34Speaker 1: sacrifice for this relationship? What? What? What's the answer you
- 15:38Speaker 1: would expect other than everything? You know? And nobody means that. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: you know, everything is everything? And so I don't know
- 15:50Speaker 1: that that's a great question that if this question, yeah,
- 15:54Speaker 1: let's give us one that we can that we should
- 15:57Speaker 1: ask what are you willing to sacrifice for this relationship?
- 15:59Speaker 1: I don't because you know, you're almost like, you know,
- 16:02Speaker 1: because how can you how can you answer that correctly? Okay?
- 16:05Speaker 1: So just cross that out altogether? So okay, So instead
- 16:08Speaker 1: of saying, so, what would you be willing to sacrifice?
- 16:16Speaker 1: You know? I think I think a better question is
- 16:19Speaker 1: what does this relationship mean to you? That you know?
- 16:23Speaker 1: Okay sacrifice? On top of that, you would say, and
- 16:30Speaker 1: on your on your list of priorities, where is this
- 16:33Speaker 1: relationship for you? You know? I think that's a better
- 16:38Speaker 1: way to phrase. Yea all? Or what would you say?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Do you know? You know you can throw that? And
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm just saying what would exactly term? Okay, do you
- 16:55Speaker 1: have the original product? Do you have another? Here's another question, Steve,
- 17:01Speaker 1: do you have anything that's non negotiable? I'm assuming you're talking,
- 17:04Speaker 1: they're talking about deal breakers here? Well, okay, now this
- 17:09Speaker 1: is for what? Tell me what this is for? Again? Sheldy, Okay,
- 17:12Speaker 1: these are you know, it's a big decision to enter
- 17:15Speaker 1: into a long term relationship. So when you're you've decided
- 17:18Speaker 1: that you're going to be in a relationship, you know,
- 17:21Speaker 1: you and this person, you want to make sure you're
- 17:24Speaker 1: on solid ground. So these are some of the questions that's,
- 17:28Speaker 1: you know, maybe we should ask. We're trying to figure
- 17:30Speaker 1: out what should you asking forward to find out you're
- 17:33Speaker 1: moving forward into a long term relationship. I think these
- 17:36Speaker 1: are this question right here is not a bad question,
- 17:40Speaker 1: but it should actually happen later on. See why invest
- 17:45Speaker 1: a lot of time in the relationship to find out
- 17:47Speaker 1: about the deal breakers? So should you already know the
- 17:52Speaker 1: answer to this if you've been in the relationship, if
- 17:54Speaker 1: you're considering a long term relationship with somebody, you probably
- 17:57Speaker 1: should have had this conversation beforehand about what's the deal breakers?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Because what you don't want to Oh god, he loves me,
- 18:04Speaker 1: I love him. Oh god, we're going to spend the
- 18:06Speaker 1: rest of our lives together. I don't like women who
- 18:10Speaker 1: have babies. My baby back that sleep. Yeah, you know
- 18:15Speaker 1: what I'm saying that ain't the time to hear that,
- 18:20Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Yeah, Okay, I like these. Okay,
- 18:23Speaker 1: this is for if you're if you have decided to
- 18:26Speaker 1: be in a long term relationship with somebody. Here's another
- 18:29Speaker 1: another question. What are your financial goals? That's that's not
- 18:35Speaker 1: before you get into that's in the relationship somewhere. Can
- 18:39Speaker 1: I tell women women a slick way when you meet
- 18:42Speaker 1: a guy? Yeah, yeah, you know, women, you know when
- 18:47Speaker 1: you talk about your financial goals, that's you got to
- 18:51Speaker 1: be in the relationship. Pretty good to ask that. Yeah,
- 18:55Speaker 1: here's a question I created for women, especially women in
- 18:59Speaker 1: our age each bracket and thirty, thirty something and up.
- 19:04Speaker 1: This is not a twenty year old question you can ask, okay,
- 19:07Speaker 1: but in the thirties. If you're a lady and you're
- 19:09Speaker 1: dating in the thirties, forties, up, here's a question you
- 19:13Speaker 1: ask if you want to know how much a man makes.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Here's the question I created for that without asking me,
- 19:18Speaker 1: how much do you make? Ask a man what he
- 19:20Speaker 1: does in his downtime? Say it again, Ask a man
- 19:26Speaker 1: what he does in his downtime, so like his hobbies
- 19:29Speaker 1: and yeah, what he does in his downtime that will
- 19:33Speaker 1: tell you a lot about his financial stays. Play video
- 19:36Speaker 1: games or catch up on my reality shows or yeah, okay,
- 19:40Speaker 1: that ain't what you want. You know. I play golf,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I collect wine, I read a lot, I m all
- 19:52Speaker 1: these things about money. I travel, I go, I jump
- 19:59Speaker 1: on a plane and go play as I like seeing
- 20:01Speaker 1: different parts of the world, you know. I allay and
- 20:08Speaker 1: mc coin collected your things like that that require some
- 20:13Speaker 1: type of investment. I collect I collect vintage cars. You
- 20:17Speaker 1: gotta have extra money do all this kind of stuff. Okay,
- 20:21Speaker 1: So instead of asking the man first night, you know,
- 20:24Speaker 1: what do you do? How much you make? Just asking
- 20:26Speaker 1: what he's doing his downtime. If he's a good and
- 20:28Speaker 1: grown man, his downtime will be spent. I create things
- 20:32Speaker 1: that didn't happen. Yeah yeah yeah. Or you know I
- 20:36Speaker 1: pay for assaults on myself. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. If
- 20:43Speaker 1: you could pay a nice amount of for an assault,
- 20:45Speaker 1: you got a lot of money. I high African men
- 20:48Speaker 1: to do different things. You know you could do that. Yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 1: you got some money. Has nothing to do with relationship questions.
- 20:56Speaker 1: I just want you guys to know that. All right,
- 20:59Speaker 1: here's the last question. They stoopid both. This is the
- 21:02Speaker 1: last question. If you're thinking about entering into a long
- 21:05Speaker 1: term relationship with someone or a serious relationship with someone,
- 21:08Speaker 1: what do you think? What do you think of this question?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Do you have a history of mental illness in your family?

- 30:10Speaker 1: filing a false police report. Right after this, you're listening
- 30:14Speaker 1: to the Stay Morning Show. In today's Entertainment News. According
- 30:21Speaker 1: to Chicago PD. Jesse Smalllett has been indicted for falling
- 30:24Speaker 1: a false police report. It's a Class four felony, which
- 30:28Speaker 1: carries a maximum of three years three years. He could
- 30:31Speaker 1: get three years for this three if he's charged and
- 30:34Speaker 1: found guilty, three years maximum prison sentence. Um, well, the indictment.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I don't wish prison time or anybody, man. It's just
- 30:45Speaker 1: not a pleasant place. Man. I hope to do gets probation,
- 30:50Speaker 1: you know, yeah, and some community service, and I hope
- 30:54Speaker 1: he learns an invaluable lesson. Lesson yeah he needs Yeah,
- 30:58Speaker 1: I mean, you know, he should be required to do
- 31:00Speaker 1: some type of therapy or something of some community service
- 31:04Speaker 1: and pay the fine, you know, because it cost him
- 31:06Speaker 1: a lot of money. But other than that, man, you know,
- 31:10Speaker 1: and because I don't know what he gonna do. I
- 31:11Speaker 1: don't know what's gonna happen to him, man, But I've
- 31:14Speaker 1: seen people do a lot worse and not do no time.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Many many lies, and nobody get hurt with him and
- 31:23Speaker 1: he ran. It's crazy what he did. I'm not justifying
- 31:26Speaker 1: what he did at all. But I hope the young
- 31:29Speaker 1: brother just get him some probation and you know, get
- 31:32Speaker 1: him some help and pay the fine and do some
- 31:33Speaker 1: community service and you know, learn something from that. Well,
- 31:38Speaker 1: I mean you, oh, the lesson already learned. Man, Oh
- 31:42Speaker 1: you didn't cost. It's no way he thought this was
- 31:45Speaker 1: ever gonna happen. So the lesson is learned. To fix
- 31:49Speaker 1: his in now you have to pay. And let's just
- 31:52Speaker 1: hope that to pay is through community service and a fine,
- 31:56Speaker 1: because I think it'll do more good. Well, I mean,
- 31:59Speaker 1: what what he need time for? Really? I mean, you know,
- 32:01Speaker 1: he didn't he didn't hurt nobody. You know, he hurt.
- 32:04Speaker 1: He hurt some people who stood up for him. You know. Yeah. Yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 1: if my dad was here, you say, good as ain't
- 32:14Speaker 1: never hurt nobody. It's good answer. He can he can't this.
- 32:18Speaker 1: This boy can't go to jail. That can't happen. This
- 32:23Speaker 1: is really sad. This is just unbelievable. I mean, I know,
- 32:28Speaker 1: like we can't, we can't afford this. It seems Yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 1: this is not necessary. Yeah. Twentieth Century Fox UH and
- 32:37Speaker 1: Fox Entertainment issued a statement on Wednesday saying that Jesse
- 32:42Speaker 1: Smallett continues to be a consummate professional on set. As
- 32:45Speaker 1: we have previously stated, he is not being written out
- 32:49Speaker 1: of the shop so they want to make that clear. Yeah,
- 32:52Speaker 1: and I'm gonna tell you something. To write him out
- 32:55Speaker 1: now would be crazy because everybody gonna tune in and
- 32:59Speaker 1: see what was here? Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Matter of fact,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I put that in the store, the exact same footage.
- 33:08Speaker 1: You know. We're like like like no, like I have
- 33:10Speaker 1: Empire where Jesse? And then somebody he downstair getting a sandwich?
- 33:15Speaker 1: And then his name is Jamal? Are you are you?
- 33:19Speaker 1: Are you right now? Are you? Come on? Now? He
- 33:22Speaker 1: all the way in now, but I've been waiting on you.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Get over, Yes, come on, come on. That's all I'm
- 33:27Speaker 1: gonna do. Leave me No, no, see now see could
- 33:31Speaker 1: call it, gonna get mad at me. So I'm gonna stop.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop now right here. Man, we don't care.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Lucius where Jamal? Now? Who is Jamal character on Empire? Steve, Well,
- 33:51Speaker 1: they ain't what they called him on CNN. I heard
- 33:56Speaker 1: nobody said Jamal. Yeah, I'm just saying he's Cookie and
- 34:04Speaker 1: Lucius's son Lucius lyon. Okay, we believe? Yeah, good show,
- 34:11Speaker 1: faithful viewer. Look I watch it all the time. All right.
- 34:14Speaker 1: We gotta get to the headlines with mss Anne ladies
- 34:18Speaker 1: and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp, thank you very much, Harry Body.
- 34:22Speaker 1: This is a troop with the news. Well, things are
- 34:23Speaker 1: looking worse and worse as they said for actor Josie Smallett.
- 34:27Speaker 1: That's because the Chicago Police Department officially named Smallett as
- 34:30Speaker 1: a suspect for quote filing a false police report. That's
- 34:34Speaker 1: a felony. He's now charged with one count of felony
- 34:37Speaker 1: disorderly contact. That's the specific charge. The actor, you may remember,
- 34:40Speaker 1: reported back on January twenty night did he'd been attacked
- 34:43Speaker 1: by two guys who shouted racist and homophobic slurs, put
- 34:46Speaker 1: a rope around his neck, and poured some liquid over him.
- 34:49Speaker 1: But after releasing the two suspects over the weekend with
- 34:51Speaker 1: no charges and they were supposedly, you know, said to
- 34:54Speaker 1: be a cooperating with the authorities, officials said they wanted
- 34:58Speaker 1: to interview the Empire star again and then clared him
- 35:00Speaker 1: a suspect. And as TMZ reported a few days ago,
- 35:03Speaker 1: the jectors presented evidence before a Cook County grand jury
- 35:05Speaker 1: this week. Smilest attorney still insists that the actor did
- 35:08Speaker 1: not set up any attack, but not only does he
- 35:11Speaker 1: does he face about three years in jail if he's
- 35:13Speaker 1: convicted of this, but he could also be made to
- 35:16Speaker 1: pay for the cost of the police investigation into the crime,
- 35:19Speaker 1: which could run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 35:22Speaker 1: You'd have to pay for that too. A self described
- 35:24Speaker 1: white racist who happens to be a lieutenant in the
- 35:26Speaker 1: US Coast Guard is under arrest after federal investigators discovered
- 35:30Speaker 1: a huge cash of weapons in his Maryland home. Authorities
- 35:32Speaker 1: say this guy admits that he intended to launch a
- 35:34Speaker 1: widespread domestic terror attack targeting politicians and journalists. Democratic politicians.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Officials say that forty nine year old Christopher Paul Hassan
- 35:43Speaker 1: called for focused violence to establish a white homeland, and
- 35:47Speaker 1: that he drawn up a spreadsheet of targets, including House
- 35:49Speaker 1: Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Christopher Hasson has scheduled to appear before
- 35:53Speaker 1: a federal judge this afternoon for a detention. Hearing President
- 35:56Speaker 1: Trump downplaying word that Special Counsel Robert Mueller he just
- 36:00Speaker 1: about be ready to conclude his investigation to Russia's US
- 36:03Speaker 1: election meddling and possible ties to Donald Trump's election campaign.
- 36:06Speaker 1: No matter what, though, Trump says, it is going to
- 36:08Speaker 1: be up to the brand new head of Justice Department,
- 36:10Speaker 1: William Bar to decide how much Muller's findings that the
- 36:14Speaker 1: public actually ends up seeing. That'll be totally up to
- 36:17Speaker 1: the new Attorney General. He's a tremendous man, at tremendous
- 36:21Speaker 1: person who really respects this country and respects the Justice Department,
- 36:26Speaker 1: so that'll be totally up to him. The Attorney General
- 36:29Speaker 1: is actually not required to release any of the report. However,
- 36:32Speaker 1: Bar has already told the Congress that he will make
- 36:34Speaker 1: Muller's findings public well as much as he can. Snowfell
- 36:38Speaker 1: yesterday from the Midwest Washington, DC, and New York, causing
- 36:41Speaker 1: a huge airline delays, highway accidents, school closings. The airports yesterday.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Thirty seven percent of departures and thirty percent of arrivals
- 36:49Speaker 1: were all canceled yesterday. Looks like there's another teachers strike
- 36:52Speaker 1: on the horizon, this time schedule to be in Oakland, California,
- 36:56Speaker 1: and begin later this morning if nothing changes. And finally
- 36:59Speaker 1: today is national No Woomer's Day. Yeah, it just rumors.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to, Okay,
- 37:12Speaker 1: Kylie Jenner is having issues processing the revelation that her
- 37:15Speaker 1: best friend was involved in a cheating scandal with her sister,
- 37:19Speaker 1: Chloe's baby daddy, Tristan Thompson. Chloe Kardashian ended her relationship
- 37:25Speaker 1: with Tristan Thompson for good after he allegedly hooked up
- 37:29Speaker 1: with Kylie's BF, Jordan Woods over the weekend, making out
- 37:32Speaker 1: with her at a house party. The question now is
- 37:35Speaker 1: what happens to Kylie's relationship with Jordan? What word is
- 37:38Speaker 1: that that Jordan is moving out of Kylie's Hidden Hills,
- 37:42Speaker 1: California home. And this is really really crazy because these
- 37:46Speaker 1: two young women have been inseparable. I mean, they lived together,
- 37:49Speaker 1: They've done everything together. They socialize, they do business together,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and even um, you know they dressed alike. They kind
- 37:58Speaker 1: of look alike in some photos. Yeah, I mean they're
- 38:02Speaker 1: really really close. I mean, so what would you guys do?
- 38:05Speaker 1: What would you do? Carl if this was your bestie? Well,
- 38:08Speaker 1: we know, do we even have to ask? Yeah? Wait
- 38:13Speaker 1: a minute, what would I do? Then? What would I do?
- 38:19Speaker 1: Come on? Say it all? Allegedly this is crazy. She
- 38:27Speaker 1: missing teeth and and I know, young Kylie has to
- 38:30Speaker 1: be torn because this is her girl. And but that's
- 38:33Speaker 1: her blood though, that's blood, Chloe's her blood. Yeah, loyal, loyal, Yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 1: I don't you know what. Okay, I understand what you
- 38:46Speaker 1: all saying. This brother can't be the brightest dude I've
- 38:51Speaker 1: ever come cross. It's no way you could have thought
- 38:56Speaker 1: that you could have got away with that clean, right,
- 38:59Speaker 1: And I'm I'm mad at him because he's the older.
- 39:02Speaker 1: He's older. She's a young girl, you know. Come on,
- 39:06Speaker 1: and you're dating her best friend's sister. You can't. Come on,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you can't risk your business that close. You ever heard
- 39:17Speaker 1: the saying you can't defecate where you eat? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
- 39:24Speaker 1: rug you all around the bowl? Yeah, come on in
- 39:29Speaker 1: it man, that's like that's family. Man. But I mean,
- 39:34Speaker 1: he can't care. How can you care and do something
- 39:38Speaker 1: like this. I don't care. I don't have a clue.
- 39:40Speaker 1: You have a baby in it up? Come on? That's
- 39:44Speaker 1: really sad. Yeah. I feel bad for all of them. Yeah,
- 39:48Speaker 1: you can't hide. You're playing the league. We know you're
- 39:54Speaker 1: six fifteen food all right, come on, put the tall
- 39:59Speaker 1: dude over. You got to go. Guys. Coming up in
- 40:02Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour, breaking news Jesse small Lett
- 40:05Speaker 1: has been indicted for filing a false police report. We'll
- 40:09Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to the
- 40:13Speaker 1: Stave Harvey Show, all right, if you're just waking up,
- 40:16Speaker 1: if you're just joining us and you haven't heard in
- 40:19Speaker 1: today's entertainment news. This is according now to the Chicago
- 40:22Speaker 1: Police Department, Jesse Smaallett has been indicted for filing a
- 40:26Speaker 1: false police report. That is a class for felony. It
- 40:29Speaker 1: carries a maximum of three years in prison. The indictment
- 40:34Speaker 1: was handed down late Wednesday. The two African brothers that
- 40:39Speaker 1: were involved with the case testified and claimed that Jesse
- 40:42Speaker 1: staged the attack. Employees at Beauty House in Chicago. That's
- 40:46Speaker 1: a beauty supply store Chicago's Uptown neighborhood said the brothers
- 40:49Speaker 1: came to the business the day before the alleged attack
- 40:52Speaker 1: and purchased ski mass Chicago police confirmed the authenticity of
- 40:57Speaker 1: the surveillance video from the store shows the brothers purchasing
- 41:01Speaker 1: numerous items, including a red ball cap, gloves, and ski masks.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Now TMZ says that the brothers said Smallett paid them
- 41:10Speaker 1: thirty five hundred dollars before the attack, but the reason
- 41:12Speaker 1: for the payment is a bit muddled. Jesse wrote the
- 41:15Speaker 1: check for thirty five hundred dollars, but he wrote on
- 41:17Speaker 1: the memo line of the check that it was for training.
- 41:21Speaker 1: TMZ is also reporting that the money was paid shortly
- 41:23Speaker 1: before the incident and it was for workout sessions and
- 41:27Speaker 1: a dietary program with the brothers. Now twentieth Century Fox
- 41:32Speaker 1: is saying that Jesse Smallett continues to be a consummate
- 41:37Speaker 1: professional on set, as we have previously stated, and he
- 41:40Speaker 1: is not being written out of the show. So there
- 41:45Speaker 1: you go. Those are the facts right now. Yes, next
- 41:48Speaker 1: week they're gonna come out with a new episode or impiedo.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh you have insider information. Okay, it's gonna
- 42:03Speaker 1: be a big episode. It's gonna probably gonna tree and
- 42:05Speaker 1: gonna be the most highly watched episode in the history
- 42:08Speaker 1: of Oh oh really, does it have a name? What's
- 42:15Speaker 1: the name? Jesse goes to the stone. Why did I ask?
- 42:26Speaker 1: And so where's a commercial? Right? I'm like, and so
- 42:33Speaker 1: I want to say, then what happens? That would normally
- 42:37Speaker 1: that would normally go there? But what I said? What
- 42:42Speaker 1: since it wasn't a violent crime and he did no
- 42:45Speaker 1: harm physically to anyone, but himself to it that he
- 42:50Speaker 1: didn't really get hurt other than people who supported him.
- 42:55Speaker 1: You don't get hurt when you said, you know, and
- 42:57Speaker 1: then uh, I guess the commune that really jumped behind him,
- 43:03Speaker 1: the l GBT LGBT community in black community. Yeah, yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: you know, everybody has something to say about it. But
- 43:15Speaker 1: hopefully what what happened to the young man is in
- 43:18Speaker 1: all seriousness, probation or fine and community service and counseling. Yes,
- 43:25Speaker 1: those four three. Counseling, community service or fine and probation.
- 43:34Speaker 1: And I think that that would be, you know, because
- 43:36Speaker 1: I mean, he's the embarrassment of all of this. You
- 43:42Speaker 1: better believe he'd learned a lesson, because man, this is it.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I hope that this didn't come out at all. Oh,
- 43:49Speaker 1: he learned he won't be doing your snowball. Hey man,
- 43:53Speaker 1: well I thought you want to get out some sandwiches.
- 43:57Speaker 1: But what you're doing? Right? But what I'm doing to say,
- 44:03Speaker 1: where the sand with? You? Been on the ground like that?
- 44:07Speaker 1: What's what's ground with him? What? What's that? What is
- 44:11Speaker 1: that round? What's round your neck? What is that? Work

- 44:47Speaker 1: Ain't your bad? Oh my god? All right, we'll listen,
- 44:55Speaker 1: you know, like you said, hopefully you will learn something

- 50:55Speaker 1: being very clear right now. You just listen to me.
- 50:58Speaker 1: You have one job. You screwed that up. I do
- 51:01Speaker 1: not know, but I need you to make it happening out.
- 51:04Speaker 1: But you're going to Jamaica queen. Maybe you are his

- 51:20Speaker 1: mention New York. Why am I to mention New York
- 51:22Speaker 1: when that is the actual ticket I have you schedule for.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Because you screwed that up and you can already correct it,
- 51:28Speaker 1: Get on the computer and correct it. Figure it out.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Your job is listen to me. Your job is from
- 51:34Speaker 1: Ultoreels to Montego Bay. Focus on that. Work it out,

- 52:38Speaker 1: promise you. I'm about to reach through this phone and
- 52:41Speaker 1: snatch you up by your neck. Oh hell, are you
- 52:44Speaker 1: talking to me like this? This is a cord of
- 52:45Speaker 1: service you kept when you make mistakes and don't know
- 52:48Speaker 1: where the hell you want to go. We didn't make
- 52:50Speaker 1: a mistake, and we know exactly where we want to go,
- 52:52Speaker 1: and you are not listening to me. I'll tell us
- 52:55Speaker 1: to my tea base. Do you understand? Do you understand

- 54:54Speaker 1: it for you. It is the Strawberry Letter, Thank you nephew. Subject,
- 54:59Speaker 1: what's with all the nude pictures here? Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 55:03Speaker 1: a sixty five year old grandmother that has recently gotten
- 55:08Speaker 1: back into the dating scene after dating a few losers.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I met a really nice seventy four year old gentleman
- 55:15Speaker 1: on a dating site designed for seniors. We have been
- 55:18Speaker 1: exclusive almost a year and not long ago. I gave
- 55:22Speaker 1: him a key to my house and he gave me
- 55:24Speaker 1: a key to his house. Last Friday, I went to
- 55:27Speaker 1: his house after work so I could have dinner ready
- 55:30Speaker 1: when he got home. Really people do that? Oh okay, sorry.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I got to his house and decided to get comfortable
- 55:37Speaker 1: for cooking, so I went into his closet to get
- 55:40Speaker 1: a pair of sweatpants, and I got a T shirt
- 55:42Speaker 1: out of a drawer. When I got the T shirt,
- 55:46Speaker 1: I noticed two photo albums under the shirts. I looked
- 55:49Speaker 1: at the photo albums and was surprised to see that
- 55:52Speaker 1: they were full of nude polaroid pictures of women and
- 55:57Speaker 1: he had taken the time to label each picture the
- 56:00Speaker 1: woman's name. All of the women looked to be between
- 56:03Speaker 1: sixty and seventy years old, so these were so these
- 56:09Speaker 1: were not older pictures, meaning date wise. I know everyone
- 56:15Speaker 1: uses cameras now, camera phones now, but my man's daughter
- 56:19Speaker 1: gave him a polaroid camera a couple of years ago
- 56:22Speaker 1: and he loves it. That night, I did not cook,
- 56:25Speaker 1: but instead I waited patiently until my man got home,
- 56:28Speaker 1: and I confronted him as soon as he walked in.
- 56:34Speaker 1: He got so angry he would not answer me at all.
- 56:38Speaker 1: It's all a blur now, but I do remember him
- 56:40Speaker 1: telling me to lead and don't bother to change. I
- 56:44Speaker 1: could keep his sweatpants and T shirt. I was mad too,
- 56:48Speaker 1: because I needed to know what kind of freaky stuff
- 56:50Speaker 1: he was into. I haven't heard from him in almost
- 56:53Speaker 1: a week, and now I think I overreacted. I feel
- 56:57Speaker 1: bad for stooping through his things. But what's all those
- 57:00Speaker 1: new pictures for? Do you think we will ever he
- 57:03Speaker 1: will ever talk to me again? Or is this a
- 57:05Speaker 1: sign that he is not the one for me and
- 57:07Speaker 1: I need to move on? Okay, it sounds like you
- 57:13Speaker 1: guys were pretty close I mean you were together, you
- 57:15Speaker 1: say for about a year. You had keys to each
- 57:18Speaker 1: other's place. He had a key to your house, you
- 57:21Speaker 1: had a key to his. I mean I and I
- 57:23Speaker 1: definitely applied you to for jumping into the dating the
- 57:27Speaker 1: dating scene at sixty five seventy four. I'm not kidding
- 57:32Speaker 1: about old, no, I do. It could be challenging the
- 57:34Speaker 1: older you get, you know, So that's good. I applaud
- 57:37Speaker 1: them for doing that. Umn keep clapping. She fitn't go
- 57:43Speaker 1: through his stuff? Go here? I know, I know. That's
- 57:45Speaker 1: the part I'm about to get to. Listen. When you
- 57:48Speaker 1: have a key to a person's home, that that means
- 57:52Speaker 1: they trust you. Okay, they trust you enough to let
- 57:56Speaker 1: you end to their home, to their sanctuary. That does
- 57:59Speaker 1: not give you a key to go through their things.
- 58:02Speaker 1: It just doesn't. Because all the time, nine times out
- 58:06Speaker 1: of ten, when you go looking for something, you're going
- 58:08Speaker 1: to find something. All right, Why didn't you already bring
- 58:12Speaker 1: your Why didn't you have your clothes with you? Or have?
- 58:15Speaker 1: You know? I mean, seriously, I don't. I don't agree
- 58:18Speaker 1: with you going through his things that that's just not
- 58:21Speaker 1: a good look. But since you did it, now you
- 58:24Speaker 1: know what you're dealing with. You know, you know who
- 58:27Speaker 1: he is and what he likes to do. He likes
- 58:28Speaker 1: to take nude pictures of sixty and seventy year old women.
- 58:34Speaker 1: And you said they were taking fairly recently with this
- 58:37Speaker 1: polaroid camera. I know a lot of the kids are
- 58:40Speaker 1: into polaroid cameras right now because the pictures come out
- 58:43Speaker 1: instantly and stuff, and it's kind of a fun thing
- 58:45Speaker 1: for them for them to do. So he's gotten one
- 58:48Speaker 1: and he likes to do the same thing. So I mean,
- 58:53Speaker 1: he's mad at you for going through his things because
- 58:55Speaker 1: he trusted you, and you're mad at him because you
- 58:57Speaker 1: found the nude pictures. And like you say, you want
- 58:59Speaker 1: to know what kind of freaky stuff is he into? Well,
- 59:02Speaker 1: you've been with him for nearly a year. You you
- 59:05Speaker 1: don't know. You don't have some kind of clue of
- 59:08Speaker 1: the things that he's into. Um, you say, do you
- 59:13Speaker 1: think he'll ever talk to you again? Yeah? Maybe when
- 59:15Speaker 1: things cool down, But you guys definitely have to have
- 59:18Speaker 1: this trust conversation. It's broken now. Is this a sign
- 59:23Speaker 1: he's not the one for you? Not if you don't
- 59:25Speaker 1: like taking nude pictures and stuff, because that seems to
- 59:27Speaker 1: be what he's into. Uh, Steve, that's all I have. Well,
- 59:32Speaker 1: she did wrong, yeah, she did? She too old for this.
- 59:36Speaker 1: The man you sixty five, the man seventy four. You
- 59:41Speaker 1: met him on a dating site designed for seniors, which
- 59:44Speaker 1: means he been dating. That's what that means. He has
- 59:50Speaker 1: been dating. Now y'all been exclusive for almost a year?
- 59:59Speaker 1: What almost a year exclusive? Yeah? Now the polaroid pitches.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: You snooped in the man stuff in a draw under
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: some clothes and found the photo that albums and then
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: opened them. Was taken, you say on the polaroid And
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you say his daughter gave him the polaroid two years ago.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: So two years ago, and y'all been exclusive almost a year.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: That ain't got nothing to do with you. That ain't
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: got nothing to do with you, even if it is
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: from that polaroid camera, It ain't got nothing to do
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: with you. You was dead wrong, ma'am. I'm sorry. Now,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you didn't went through the man stuff. All the women
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: looked to be between sixteen seventy years old, so these
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: ain't older pictures. I know everybody used camera phones now,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: but my man daughter game polaroid camera couple of years
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: ago he loved that night. Now you over there had
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: to cook, right, You don't went through the man and stuff?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Get some sweatpants, teachers, so you can cook. Now you
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: found the book, you have set it down somewhere. Now
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you're just up in here waiting. I did not cook,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: but instead I waited patiently till my man got home
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and I confronted him and suit, who are the ever
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: was in the pool? You fire off as soon as
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: he walks in. He got so angry he wouldn't even
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: answer me, My man seventy four. He hadn't been through
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: this before. You ain't the first argument he'd have had
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: with a woman. You know how to handle this here, women,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: hold up, man, and ain't my wife? You didn't went
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: through my stuff? Now? The man gave you a key
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: to his house. He obviously cared about you. I love you.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: You gave him a key to your house. He won't
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you in his house? Now, you don't want to found
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: some old pictures? Now you mad buy some damn pictures?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Probably why you ain't got nobody now, and you ain't
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: finn to have him? See now, this is a shame
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: because you're too old for this. He probably is too
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Hang on, yeah there, Well, all right,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: twenty three after the hours, subject what's what all the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: nude pictures? We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter, subject What's
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: what all the nude pictures? Six or five year old
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: lady been looking for men and found this gown this
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: day in Sidney for seniors. He's seventy fold gentlemen. They
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: got up being exclusive almost a year. He got a
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: key to her house. She got a key to his house.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: She went over there after work so she could have
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: dinner ready when he got home. You decide to get
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: comfortable when this clause it got a passwat pass got
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: a T shirt out of drawer. When I got the
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: T shirt, and notice these photo albums under the under
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the shirt. They under the shirt, so she dug right,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: She didn't dug under the shirts photo album surprised to
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: see full of nude polaroid pictures of women. He had
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: taken time to label each people picture with the woman's name.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: All the women looked between sixty and seventy, so they
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: ain't old pictures. Now she thinks she got him dead right,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: because his daughter gave a polaroid camera a couple of
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: years ago and he loves it. That night, I didn't cook,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: waited at home to come home, lit right into him.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I was. He was so angry. Now he didn't got
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: mad at the woman because she didn't fired off on him.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: He's so mad he don't even answer her. It isn't
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: me who stays women as stop. Oldest. Okay, now, oldest,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: don't answer. I was mad too, because I needed to
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: know what kind of freaky stuff he was into. Well,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: he'd take pictures of women and put their names on.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: The question is was you in the book? What the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: question is was you in the book? Now? I see
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: if you was in the book, then you counsider yourself
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: for notching the gun. But if you wasn't in the book,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: could he have met you? And after y'all became exclusive,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: he cut it off because if you were just another victim,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you'd have been posted. You've been with him almost a year.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: He didn't asked you for a picture yet, maybe because
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you meant something to him, Maybe because you just wasn't
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: one of the other ones. But now because he can't
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: trust you, and then you'dn't fired off on him so
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: hard he gone on. Oh but you best believe he
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: back in that book though. Yeah, let's yeah, he back
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: all off? If all off up in the book. Maybe
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I made a mistake. Maybe this wasn't the one. Let
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: me call Clara m hm, because you know they got
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: an old name. I was just getting ready to ask
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: you that Steve what like what Clark Gwin? Yeah, that's
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Bob Old Debtor. Oh, kisy Charmaine, that's all right, I
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: like Charmaine Whitney. Yeah, all right. Some of them ain't
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: got an old name. Bob Bett Old, Joslyn Y, Carolyn
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: m Patricia, Patricia. That d's is the name. Do you
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: think he will ever talk to me again? Probably? Not
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: now here he was a lie? Or is this a
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: sign that he's not the one for me and I
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: need to move on. I think the sign is you're
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: not the one for him. I hate to tell you this, lady,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: but that was a horrible mistake. You made this stuff
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: no and and really, and you approached him in anger
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: with accu I need to know what type of freaky
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: stuff he into he was into you? Hein't asked you
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: to take no picture. You wasn't in the book. Maybe
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: he cut it off when he found you. Man, I
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: found somebody really cool and Steve just speak on how
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: crazy that is to walk in the door and somebody
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: charges you feel like that with your damn clothes on?
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Yeah right this half of where your heels at. Run
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: upon me, like, no, man, what got my clothes over? Sweatpants,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: t shirt, barefoot something? Your feet up? You know how
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: you've been in the feet shoot all day? He come
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: into working, You old running up on him, hair all
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: over your head, glass is looking crazy, been in that crime.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Ain't got no lifts? Stick on. Run upon this man,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: he already said in folk he've been to spend the
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: rest of his life whatever he got left arguing with you.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Man said, nah, hell no, you messed up. He wouldn't
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: have given her the key if he thought she would
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: do that. He wouldn't have gave you the key if
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: he didn't think he was the one. Ain't nobody else
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: got no key? All in pictures? Did anybody walk in
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: on y'all? You messed up, lady. You made a mistake.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Not the only thing you could do. If he has
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a sell phone you can text or voice mail and
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: telling me it was one of the biggest mistakes you've
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: ever made, that you're willing to let it go and
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: never ever bring it up again. Oh I thought you
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: were If you would yeah, and then just say, hey, look,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: if we could just get back to where we were,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I miss you. I'm sorry. That's the best thing you
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: could do. Or like, if you won't talk to you,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: the best thing you could do is in the middle
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: of the night, sneak in with that key, crawl up
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: beside his bed and take his teeth, and then when
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: he raked up, if he wanted his teeth back, he
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: got the call. That's all I have for you. Okay,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: show is truly ignorant. If you get his teeth, he
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: got to call what's her name again? Oh daddy freedom?
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: D No, No, you're talking about oh oh the girl
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: in the Yeah, yeah her let me al freedom? Oh
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: al Freedom? Wells, why would she do that? All right? Well, anyway,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. You can email us

- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I need some more money. I'd be in arrears, I'd
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: be making mistakes from my Tampa and pro then I
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: need you to come to Chuckles and Memphis so I
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: can get that bag bag, y'all. Plate. I ain't gotta
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: like everybody else. Okay, So I'm just doing my shout
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: outs with my shows because you know, I don't get
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: to talk to Steve Thirst like y'all. I gotta wait
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: once a week cram mine in. So can I talk
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: about anything I want to Steve hot See, I only
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: got three minutes. I gotta bring it in there because
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I believe in my mind that Stephen my best friend
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: in the world, Like he got a Christmas list for me. Yeah,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: in the world, listen to me. So can I say
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: what I feel? If you would like to give advice,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: give it to me, Steve. I'm the person that needs
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: to double my money. Gotta say that, right goal. Are
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you happy now? Yeah? Because I'm the one that need
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: to double my money. I like working at CBS, but
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I want to have shows on every network. I want
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: to do other things. You ain't never gonna have to
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: fight me to love me, Steve. I learned my lessons. Hey,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you gotta start on your crown, Steve Harve. I think
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: the Lord will watch you go through all that, My servant,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: My God, so good to me. Listen, blessed, that's why
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you're so blessed, but bless other people. Bless other people.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Some people don't appreciate your blessings of advice. And you
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: know in career advancements help other people. Am I right now?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I say that? Right? The other thing you got to do?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Why is everybody get busted at the White House? Write
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: a book two weeks later? What the hell y'all really
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: do it? On the job. I believe everything McCabe say.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I believe you believe it, But Cave ain't lying? Who
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: is no? This is how you know it's true? He
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: said a Russian asset snap crack, that does listen to me.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: But McKay see, McCabe called me all of them. It's Republicans.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: That's how you know. This ain't no uh fake news.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: This is for real. They dropping real dives up in here.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: They was trying to figure out, so they was counting
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: up votes on the cabinet, like, Okay, Penn's ain't gonna
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: we don't know how he's gonna vote, but let's see
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: if we can get okay, session, Okay, we get them. Okay,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: we got this like a spade here. We got fowing
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: the possible junior. It's like we ain't got enough votes
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: to put him out. So what we're gonna do. Let's
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: leak it on. Let's leak it, leak it. They't never
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: know what's us. They want that power by any means necessary,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: so they'll go along with this guybage because they knew
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: had had Hillary Clinton won the election, they was not
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: gonna get the White House back for at least twenty
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: years because because the Democrats was gonna run the table.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: So they left the clown. And I'm gonna say clown
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: because I'm a Republican, So don't call Steve Carl Sheryl.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I'm a Republican. I'm still a registered Republican, and I
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: know what's going on. I'm gonna tell you what's really
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: going on. They know that once they get him out
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: of office, they gotta find a way to put somebody
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: in so they can keep control over They don't really
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: believe in what he's doing. They You notice when they
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: start talking that talking point, like when Lindsay Graham I
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: started glassing over. That's when you know he on that
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: talking about when he choke up, we're building a while
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: shut up, you know. Okay, I know what y'all want
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: me to get to. Ready, what's on your mind? Come on, okay,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: let me tell you what I believe happened. It's just
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: a small lance, okay. You know the new boy at
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the end of the season that got beat up by
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: his own daddy. What's his name? What's that boy on
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: the Empire? He the new He the one that took
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: over the computer boy supposedly loses his son's son he is.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I don't think he's the son. I think he's exhibit.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: I think he's Shine son. I think that girl went
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: down there and God with shine, you know, how you
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: trade product for product. So you got with shine one time.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Now that shines. Now he's gonna be mad. Why collusion
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: don't already killed you, daddy in the in the airplane.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I ain't gonna with the scarf. You see what I'm saying.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: So now now I know y'all think about what does
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: this got to do with Jesic Smarlett. You established you
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: gotta slappers Junior. The whole story of the sun. If
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: you watch Dallas, if you watch Dynasty, if you watch
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Facing Crests, Flamingo Road, let me go all the way
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: to Morgan Fanshaw. If you watch every soap opera, there's
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: always a patriarch of the town who had a dalliance
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: with somebody else and a son shows up to tip
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: the apple car art. That's what happened. Why are you saying, well,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: why would Jesse small Let possibly do what you accusing
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: him of doing that he'd been indicted on from the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Grand Jurist. Let me tell you why. Because people panic
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: when they think they're about to lose this fame. So
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I believe now it's only my theory. Don't say nothing
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: to Steven them. So you fake a letter right the
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: letter didn't get the response you thought it was supposed
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: to get. So then what you do? Then you call
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: two Nigerians and you that you personal train with listen nowe,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: nowell all the way from the motherland. This don got
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: dropped in Black History Month, so there's no way that
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: white people can't claim this one. So then what happens you,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: I think when you find out whoop out the plane
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: ticket for them to go to Nigeria. Okay, y'all gonna
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: find this out last, but not in the least when
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: we're whooping asked for thirty five hundred dollars with a
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: five hundred dollars hold that start that stop happened. I
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: didn't know you. Are we doing that? Now? Hey? Doing
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: that in Cheryl? Since you did mention Black History Month,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: you gotta hear juniors take on Black History Month. But
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: let me say this too. The worst part of this
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: whole thing is when people are um hate crime from
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: being homosexual or from being black, they're not gonna believe us.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Now that's right the whole boy, Steve, call your best
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: friend in the whole. We gotta go, Cheryl, We gotta go.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Thank you, stop playing, tell you for coming my best friends.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Reality Updates. I kind of mustache, you don't I got
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: to hear that you're listening. It's that time. She is here.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Colin Farrell with Reality Update. All right, thank you, nephew,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: What what you I thought? Lucia's wanted to say too,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Lucia's Lucia's last just want to say, oh, man in
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: time of nine. Right now, it's time for calling the
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Reality update. But the real reality of my son John
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: out of mud. All right, let's go. Let's talk about reality,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Let's go there. Let's talk
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: about that ring it. Yeah, what happened? Well, Porsha thought
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: that she was going to a charity event with her
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: man Dennis, and she was like wow because they went
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: to the charity event and a helicopter and she was thinking, man,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: it went all out for this. And they arrived at
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the location, walked into the room, rose petals all over
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the floor, photographers waiting for her. Porsha's favorite singer, well,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: her favorite song, Little Mole. Y'all remember that jam from
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: the nineties was the early two the song Forever by
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Little Mo. Anyway, Little Mo was in there singing her song,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: and then Porsche she knew it. She knew that her
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: man Dennis was about to propose, and she was crying
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: and everything, and little Mo was singing, and Dennis proposed
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: and he didn't really get on the ring. And you're
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: just happy for Porsche. She was just, yeah, she deserves happiness. Yeah,
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Porsches engaged new husband and knew mommy to be on
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: the way. So congratulations Porsche. Now speaking of motherhood, yeah,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: good for her. That's right. Missed out on it though.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Sorry everybody who got somebody go ahead, all right, moving
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: on singing your motherhood. Todd and Candy they talked about
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: they talked to a surrogate about having their baby, and
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Todd he's kind of like what he's kind of like,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: not really on board with the idea of surrogacy and
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: another woman carrying their baby, so he's not quite as
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: excited about it as as Candy is not. Not just yet.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: So we're waiting seeing see what that journey is about. Eva.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: She's having a meltdown about her wedding and reception dresses
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: and all that stuff the bride goes through. She's kind
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: of going there, and you know, it's a lot of
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: pressure to be a bride. And all of that. But finally, Shirley,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: what do you think about Ninie? What's going on with her? Now? You, guys,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: here's the deal. I think she's kind of tripping a
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: little bit. She Greg. Nini and Greg are having marital
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: marital problems now, yeah, but according to Nini Shirley, she's
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: saying that they were having issues before he got diagnosed
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: with having See, we didn't know that, Okay, okay, So
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: it just seems like to me, Ninie's kind of a
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: little selfish. She wants a lot of attention. Yeah, and
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: she feels like there's just some issues going on in
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: her marriage. And I'm like, but your husband is fighting
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: for his life staying yeah, say cancer baby, he can't
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: go out with you and has some wine cocktails and
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: pay attention to you all the time. It's it can't
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: just be all about you. This man is fighting for
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: his life. But he's always been there and done that.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: So she's probably having withdrawal symptoms or something. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: she's having a tough time adjusting, and it kind of
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: makes you wonder is she trying to set it up
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: for a divorce. I don't know what's going on through cancer.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know. I don't understand what's going
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: on with her that wow, Oh my gosh. I don't know.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: It's just I'm bothered by watching this and I just
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: think that, Yeah, I just think that Nini is focusing
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: too much on herself and she needs to really really
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: be there for her husband and help him with this
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: fight and not talk about the issues that they're having.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: This man is really fighting for his life. That's me
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: on what I'm observing. I don't know, Shirley, what do
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you think? Yeah? I mean I have to agree with you.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: You know, they've been together in such a team for
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: so long, and she just doesn't know how to handle it.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I guess when he's not by her side, you know,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: always at the ready for her, so adjusting and just
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: trying to do Yeah, I think that's what it is.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: What do you think, Steve Tommy Junior. I hope that's
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: what it is. I hope it's an adjustment. Yeah, I think.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: I don't know. You know, I just feel for the
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: man because he's battling. You know, I don't I don't
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: know anything about anybody's personal life. I just know that
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: this man is in a real life battle. For real,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: And I'm really putting for him because I like people,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: you know, we love I like Nani to, I really do. Uh.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: You know, I was just speaking about Greg because I
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: know he's in this battle man. Yeah, and I'm really
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: really pulling for him. But you know, he's a man.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: He's a good brother man too. Yeah. Yeah, it's a
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: prayer of healing. You know, we've been saying that ever
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: since Greg was diagnosed with colon cancer. We are just
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: praying for healing and that you know, Greg is strong,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: get back healthy, they fix their marriage to the family.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: So come on, Greg Leeks, we are pulling for you. Yeah.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: So that's real Housewives of Atlanta, And I'll move quickly
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: on to the Kardashians. You know, we've been talking about this.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: We talked about it earlier, uh this morning, about Chloe
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: and Tristan Thompson, her baby daddy, calling it quits after
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you know, rumor was that Tristan was fooling around with
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: Chloe's baby sister, Kylie Jenner's best friend Georgia. Oh, they
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: hooked up at a party. They were making out, and
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Kylie's just very upset that her best friend Jordan would
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: be making out with her sister's basic nuts. And for
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: the record, Tristan has slammed this story, calling it fake news,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: and now he deleted the tweet saying that buts no, no,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: it seems like Kylie. Yeah, she did some investigating call
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: people to see if this really happened, if Jordan was there.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: So you know, she's moving out of Jordan's moving out
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: of Kylie's house. This is this is really bad. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: you're absolutely right, Tommy. It's just too bad, too bad,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: and that's reality update. You can hit me up on
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: social media at lips like Carlo, we can continue the conversation. Yes,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: tie your room for Jesse on The Kardashian Show. You
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: think and be free. You think than he Damn Joel
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: can't come back to impot up a little divicious. Oh god,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: all right, we gotta get out of here. Thank you, girl,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: and we'll be back with more. We'll be back with
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: more than Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: listening to former President Barack Obama and Golden State Warriors
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: star Steph Curry took part in the first My Brother's
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Keeper Convention in Oakland. Uh, Mister Obama told the packed
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: house that there were multiple factors in why he felt
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: out of place growing up. Both Obama and Steph Curry
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: spoke for about an hour, answering questions from the audience
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: and joking around. President Obama also took credit for Steph
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Curry's lethal jump shot. Take a listen to this, and
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: with that, I'm gonna turn it over to somebody who
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: has brought a lot of joy to this area and
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: the even Bulls fans. Half technowledge that it's been fun
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: to watch the Warriors and the greatest shooter of all
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: time because I gave him some tips right before about
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: five seasons ago. There's film of this in the White House.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Mister Steph Kurt. That's one of the most exciting things
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I heard since I showed up today was when we
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: did our PSA about four years ago. Um, where you
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: taught me how to keep my elbow in exactly. Yeah,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: he helped me. He was kind I was kind of
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: chicken wing chicken winging a little bit and it wasn't working,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: So you helped me with my with my resume. That's
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: exactly right. Um, all that kind of good stuff. Obviously
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I had the best mentor in that regard. Yeah, yep, yep, yep. Well,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: the former president advisor boys and my brother's keeper to
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: look for mentors and to guide others. Steve, we're gearing
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: up for the Harvey Foundation Annual Mentoring Camp coming up
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: this summer. I mean you know a little bit about mentoring.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Huh yeah, y'all know a little bit about it, A
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: lot about players, A portion of my life to it,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: you know. It's it's just a good thing anybody that
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: mentors man. And it doesn't have to be you know,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: like for me and out there. It's a lot of
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: great men out there. Listen to the show. You don't
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: have to be famous to be a role model. A
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: matter of fact, the best role models I know were
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: never famous. My father. You those men out there, man,
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: if you just get a just pull one black dude off,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: why I mean, scutin. Just pull one guy, one kid
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: over to the side and go, hey, young man, let
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: me talk to you. I see something many man. I
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: like you. Man. Why you wear your pants like that?
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: Hey man? I love you man. Man, Amy, what you
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: want to do with your life? Hey man, I've been
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: watching you walk around the block. Man, do you know
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around and be somebody. You slid that
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: right on in there, didn't you. Huh what did I slide?
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: I mess around to be somebody. Yeah, it's just the
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: way you said it. You know. Oh you're trying to
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: say I was talking to Tommy. No, no, no, I
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: just like the way you just you know, you made
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: it casual, conversational. No I no, I really I was
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: sincere Steve. I like the way. Yeah, I like the
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: way you said it. It was conversational. Yeah. I actually
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: used it on this kid at the airport. He came
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: up to me. I was coming from on an international flight.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: I was out at Atlanta Airport, said man, Steve Harvey.
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: That's a hold on, hold on, man, you need to talk,
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: I say, man, I want to talk to you. Tuck
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: your shirt in while you talking to him. Man. He
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: just started tucking his shirt. He was saying he worked
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: at the airport. Yeah, that's what I mean. You slid
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: that in. I say, hey, man, and then put you
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: pay us uptighting your belt man, miss Harm talking him?
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: What's up? Miss Harm? And I had his attention. I
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: startedmittoring a kid. He graduated from Georgia Southern University. He's
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: on the way to becoming an engineer. Wow. I'm not
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: saying it was cause of that day, but I spent
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: a lot of time talking to him and helping him out,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: and we just became friends, and you know, he wanted
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: me to come to his graduation and everything. But I
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: like the way you said. You didn't you weren't preachy,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: you know, you weren't like lecturing him. You just it
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: was very conversational, and I liked that personable, the way
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: you slid it in dance up. Yeah, it was cool.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: I liked him. All right, We'll have more of the
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this. You're
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: listening in today's entertainment news. According to Chicago PD, Jesse
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Smalllett has been indicted for falling a false police report.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: It's a Class four felony, which carries a maximum of
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: three years three years. He could get three years for
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: this three if he's charged and sound guilty, three years
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: maximum prison sentence. Um. Wow, the indictment. I don't I
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: don't wish prison time or anybody. Man. It's just not
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: a pleasant place. Man. I hope to do gets probation,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: you know, yeah, and some community service, and I hope
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: he learns an invaluable lesson. Lesson Yeah, yeah, I mean,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: you know he should be required to do some type
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: of therapy or something, or some community service and pay
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: to fine, you know, because it cost him a lot
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: of money. But other than that, man, you know, and
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: because I don't know what he gonna do. I don't
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen to him. Man, but I've seen
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: people do a lot worse and not do no time,
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: many many lies. Anybody get hurt from him, and he ran.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: It's crazy what he did. I'm not justifying what he
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: did at all, but I hope the young brother just
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: get him some probation and you know, get him some
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: help and pay the fine and do some community service
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: and learned something from this. Well, I mean you oh,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: the lesson already learned. Man. Oh, there's no way he
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: thought this was ever gonna happen. So the lesson is learned.
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: To fix is in. Now you have to pay, and
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: let's just hope that the pay is through community service
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: and a fine, because I think it'll do more good. Well,
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: I mean, what what he need hard time for? Really?
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I mean, you know, he didn't he didn't hurt nobody,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: you know, he hurt he hurt some people who stood
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: up for him, you know, yeah, yeah, if my dad
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: was here, he said, never hurt nobody. This is really sad.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: This is just unbelievable. I mean, I know, like, we
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: can't we can't afford this, it seems Yeah, this is
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: not necessary. Yeah. Twentieth Century Fox UH and Fox Entertainment
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: issued a statement on Wednesday saying that Jesse Smaller continues
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: to be a consummate professional on set. As we have
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: previously stated, he is not being written out of the shop,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: so they want to make that clear. Yeah, and I'm
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: gonna tell you something. To write him out now would
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: be crazy because everybody gonna tune in and see what's yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: yeah yeah. Matter of fact, I put that in the store,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: the exact same footage. You know. We're like like like no,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: like I have Empire where Jesse and then somebody he
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: distare getting a sandwich and then his name is Jamala?
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Are you are you? Are you right? Now? Are you?
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Come on? Now? He all the way in now, Baby,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: I've been waiting on you. Get over, Yes, come on,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: come on, leave me now now now secret call it
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: gonna get mad at me. I'm gonna I'm gonna stop now.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: It's ignorant right here. Man. We don't care now who
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: did Jamal character on Empire? Steve, Well, they ain't what
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: they called him on cn is ial Ya. I'm just saying,
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: all right, coming up, we'll get to our last break
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: of the day on this Thursday, and then we'll close
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: it out with some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey. That's all coming up right after this.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: You're listening here, we are last break of the day, guys.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: It's been a pretty fun, crazy, crazy ignorant day on
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: this Crazy Ignorant Show. A lot of fun today. But Steve,
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: now it's time to get a little serious and so
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: we can learn ourselves something. I just want to encourage
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: people to do something really really simple today. And I
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: think this is something that most people would agree to want.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: It's really this simple. Everybody should want more for your life.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about your life right there, the one that
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: you have. You should want more for your life. You
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: should never allow yourself to become complacent. Now, I want
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: you to understand something. Some people get complacency confuse with
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: They don't want to seem ungrateful. Once again, some people
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: get complacency confused with not wanting to appear ungrateful. Well,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: I don't want to keep asking God for nothing because
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: I don't want him to think I ain't grateful for
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: what I have. Well thanking for it. Then that's really simple.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: Simply thank God for what you have. That's the gratitude.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: But then it's still okay to want more for your life.
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: Here's the good news. God actually want you to have
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: more for your life. God is really looking for people
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: to show off, He really is. I happen to raise
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: my hand all the time in volunteer I do. I
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: just say God, pick me, come on, do me, use me,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: show me. Now that doesn't mean I'm perfect, I'm far
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: from it. But I do want God's blessings to be
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: able to flow through me, so I keep an open
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: channel in my life for that stuff to flow through.
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: First of all, I want more, that's the beginning of
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: getting it. Then I have the good sense to ask
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: Him for more. You have not because you asked not. Well,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: I happen to be a big asker of stuff, So
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: now I want more. I ask for more. Now here's
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: the trick to asking for more and warning more you
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: have got to be willing to do more. Oh, now,
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you gotta do more. Now, that's the one thing that
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: stops so many people from having and wanting more for
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: their life. If God will give you blessings and God
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: will increase your measure in life, if God comes to
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: give you life and give you life more abundantly, if
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: He's promised to do that for you, and what you
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: have to do in return is you have to be
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: willing to do more. See you, you can't get more
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: without doing more. Convenience is built through inconvenience. You can
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: stop warning what you see everybody else with and you
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: ain't willing to do what everybody else did to get
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: it quick look at it Oprah's pile over there. If
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: you're willing to do what Oprah did, which to an
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: average person is not because the average person wants to
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: be comfortable, and you can't be successful and stay comfortable.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: I was interviewing the wrestler on my show yesterday, Dave
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: but Teach a great story man. This cat was really
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: out of it, really really fascinating story he had and
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: we were talking and he was talking about living outside
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: your comfort zone. And I told him one of the
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: things that I've had to learn how to do in
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: order to become successful is I've had to become comfortable
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: with being uncomfortable. He said, wow, Wow, that's a great
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: way to put the step. I have learned how to
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: be comfortable while I'm uncomfortable. Because in order to get successful,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: you have to be uncomfortable. You have to do things
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: that you don't feel like doing all the time. You
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: have to show up when you don't want to show up.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: You have to be there when you feel like being
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: somewhere else. You have to say yes a lot of
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: times when you really want to just say no. That's
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: where you're at, man, that's how you become successful. But
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: you can't keep asking God for more and you ain't
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: willing to do more. It doesn't make any sense. It
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: cannot happen that way, folks. So come on, I want
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: you to want more for your life. But there's a
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: scripture that that bags that up to It said to
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: whom much is given, much is required. Navy, you don't
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: want the requirements that he gonna have to pull up
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: on the given. But if you want the given, know
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: that here come the requirements. So one more time, if
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: you don't want the requirements. He gonna have to pull
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: up on a given Do not be the one who
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: blocks your own blessings. Want more for your life and
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: be willing to do the things to accept and receive more.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: It's just discipline. It's just some more work. But if
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: you just cut out some of the bs, man, Man,
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: just cut out some of the happy hours, just cut
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: out some of the drinking. You can't smoke one every
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: day though. You can't go to all the clubs. So man,
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: you're just gonna run all the women. That's that's that's
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna do, all of them. I got
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: news for you, man, can't be successful that way. You
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: can't drop it or no week thirday. It's good, don't
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: worry about that. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase
