- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out? Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing. Uh huh, I shall well
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on digging now, one and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Here we go today. I think I have
- 2:15Speaker 1: something for a lot of people today, at least I
- 2:18Speaker 1: hope I do. And this is about on your journey,
- 2:22Speaker 1: And this is about something that happens to us all.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I mean, what happens to all of us from time
- 2:31Speaker 1: to time when we get discouraged. What happens to all
- 2:36Speaker 1: of us when we feel like quitting, What happens to
- 2:40Speaker 1: all of us when we have that turn back moment.
- 2:44Speaker 1: What happens to all of us when it don't seem
- 2:48Speaker 1: like it's gonna pan out. Because I want you to
- 2:51Speaker 1: understand something that everyone, every single living soul has those
- 2:57Speaker 1: thoughts about something at some point in their life. I mean,
- 3:03Speaker 1: you know, look, I've oftentimes been discouraged about things not
- 3:07Speaker 1: happening as fast as I like them. All things don't
- 3:12Speaker 1: pan out the way I would like for them to
- 3:14Speaker 1: have panned out. I mean, there's so many ways to
- 3:19Speaker 1: get discouraged. But but what my encouragement to you is
- 3:25Speaker 1: when discouragement comes is understand this. It is a part
- 3:32Speaker 1: of the growth process. It is a test. It is
- 3:39Speaker 1: a test of your faith. How bad you want it,
- 3:45Speaker 1: do you really believe? That's all faith is. It's simply
- 3:51Speaker 1: and I've said this how many times. Faith is to
- 3:54Speaker 1: belief in things that you cannot see. So when discouragement comes,
- 3:59Speaker 1: set back comes, it is a test of your faith.
- 4:03Speaker 1: At least it's been that way for me. Now other
- 4:06Speaker 1: people can explain it another way. I'm not other people.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I can only give it to you the way it
- 4:11Speaker 1: has come to me and throughout my life, and man
- 4:13Speaker 1: on man on man. Discouragement sometimes it's tough to deal
- 4:18Speaker 1: with because it seems at times when you are discouraged
- 4:24Speaker 1: that is so absolute that this means the end, And
- 4:31Speaker 1: if you allow it to set in, it can be
- 4:35Speaker 1: just that the end of you when Milly Milly, it
- 4:39Speaker 1: was a test, that's all it is. But the majority
- 4:43Speaker 1: of people that I know who are not successful or
- 4:48Speaker 1: who have told me the story of how they gave up,
- 4:51Speaker 1: it was because at a moment of discouragement that they
- 4:56Speaker 1: allowed it to set in and it became so engulfing
- 5:01Speaker 1: that it became the reason why you shouldn't finish. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: then they started justifying it with hither one that I
- 5:07Speaker 1: hate to hear. Well, if it's God's will, excuse me.
- 5:13Speaker 1: If it's God's will that you fail. If it's God's
- 5:17Speaker 1: will that you're not successful, If it's God's will that
- 5:23Speaker 1: you lay down and give up, it's God's will that
- 5:27Speaker 1: you allow yourself to amount to not reach your potential.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's God's will. That's not the God I know. That's
- 5:37Speaker 1: not the God I served. That's not the God I've
- 5:40Speaker 1: read about. That's not the God I believe in. I'm sorry.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I just my mother always taught me something that he
- 5:47Speaker 1: didn't bring me this far to leave me. I just
- 5:50Speaker 1: don't believe that, not for a second. Now have I
- 5:57Speaker 1: convinced myself or some things, Yep, have I allowed the
- 6:01Speaker 1: devil to come into the picture and paint a different
- 6:03Speaker 1: one from it. Yep, yep, I've done all of that,
- 6:07Speaker 1: But you can't blame that on God. Now, come on,
- 6:11Speaker 1: So when discouragement comes, try to look at it if
- 6:18Speaker 1: you can, as a test of your faith, and you
- 6:22Speaker 1: merely have to pass the test. It could be for
- 6:25Speaker 1: a day, a half a day, a few hours, a week,
- 6:28Speaker 1: a few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody know how
- 6:31Speaker 1: long the test period is. Your job is to keep
- 6:34Speaker 1: the faith and keep moving. Keep the faith and keep moving,
- 6:39Speaker 1: keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive. That's your job.
- 6:46Speaker 1: If you do that, that's how you pass the test.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It could be over tomorrow, it could be over in
- 6:52Speaker 1: two weeks, it could be over in a month. You
- 6:54Speaker 1: don't know. But all you got to do is wake
- 6:56Speaker 1: up and keep the faith and fight the discouraging feel
- 7:00Speaker 1: And how do you do that? Steve? Now here we go.
- 7:03Speaker 1: This is the part I know about for show because
- 7:06Speaker 1: how many times I've had to fight off discouragement in
- 7:10Speaker 1: order to get to where God wanted me to be.
- 7:14Speaker 1: What do you do when you become discouraged? Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 1: think of the outcome when I get discouraged about a
- 7:22Speaker 1: task I think about the outcome. Man, What would it
- 7:26Speaker 1: be like if I were to complete the task? What
- 7:29Speaker 1: would it be like? Man? What would the outcome be
- 7:32Speaker 1: for me if I hung on in there, if I
- 7:35Speaker 1: didn't give up, if I if I imagine, I imagine
- 7:41Speaker 1: if I don't quit, I imagine if I don't give up,
- 7:45Speaker 1: what would it be like? Man, Suppose everything I'm hoping
- 7:50Speaker 1: for comes true. But if I don't quit and give up,
- 7:53Speaker 1: that might just be the case. I start talking to
- 7:57Speaker 1: myself like that, I think of what the upside is.
- 8:02Speaker 1: What's the upside to stay in with it? You see,
- 8:05Speaker 1: all this is the same thing. I'm just giving you
- 8:08Speaker 1: different ways to look at it. I'm saying the exact
- 8:10Speaker 1: same thing over and over. But I'm just trying to
- 8:13Speaker 1: find the switch that connects in your mind where you
- 8:16Speaker 1: can say, Okay, man, I'm gonna hang in there. Because
- 8:19Speaker 1: if you think of the outcome and the outcome is
- 8:22Speaker 1: appealing to you, if you imagine what it would be
- 8:25Speaker 1: like if you don't give up or you don't quit,
- 8:28Speaker 1: if you think only of what the upside is to
- 8:32Speaker 1: stay in with it, And then I go, where can
- 8:36Speaker 1: this lead to? If I stay with it? Man? And
- 8:40Speaker 1: the outcome comes true? What else could that lead me to?
- 8:45Speaker 1: Because I mean, there's always more to it. So where
- 8:48Speaker 1: else could this lead me to? What are the possibilities? Man?
- 8:54Speaker 1: What are the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have
- 8:59Speaker 1: in store for me? If I just hang in there?
- 9:01Speaker 1: If I pass this test of faith? If I just
- 9:05Speaker 1: passed this test, now, it ain't gonna be the only one.
- 9:08Speaker 1: But you gotta get past this one. No, then you're
- 9:11Speaker 1: gonna hear the smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It's gonna be another one. Life ain't nothing but a
- 9:17Speaker 1: series of tests. Man. Man, when you're thinking about giving up,
- 9:23Speaker 1: when you're discourage, think of the outcome. Imagine what it
- 9:27Speaker 1: would be like if you don't quit, if you don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: give up, what's the upside to stay in with it?
- 9:32Speaker 1: Where can this all lead to? What? What can this
- 9:36Speaker 1: get you too? If you do this and you get
- 9:39Speaker 1: to where you think you want to be, Oh my god,
- 9:42Speaker 1: what's after that? What are the limitless and endless possibilities
- 9:48Speaker 1: of holding on to your faith? What could really be
- 9:51Speaker 1: out there for me? Man? If I just passed this test,
- 9:54Speaker 1: you gotta talk yourself into hanging in there. You're listening show. Ladies,
- 10:02Speaker 1: a gentleman, it is time for the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 21:37Speaker 1: it like that. Don't don't register a complaint against his family.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Just put out the wish that you want. Just simply say,
- 21:45Speaker 1: you know what, I really appreciate your family and I
- 21:48Speaker 1: enjoy being around and then the cooking. But if I
- 21:51Speaker 1: would love for you to take me out to dinner
- 21:54Speaker 1: at least once a week. You know, I don't mind
- 21:57Speaker 1: going over to people's houses, but if you could take
- 21:59Speaker 1: me out, you know, I just want to be out
- 22:01Speaker 1: sometimes and socialize. I like to sit a nice sit
- 22:04Speaker 1: down restaurant. I like service. Would you do that for me? Please? Bam,
- 22:09Speaker 1: you have dinner once a week and then this feelings
- 22:11Speaker 1: ain't hurt by his mama, Because you hurt a man
- 22:13Speaker 1: feeling about his mommy. Your relationship bang gonna last night, mama,
- 22:17Speaker 1: she said she don't want to come over here and
- 22:19Speaker 1: just all this eating. You know, she don't like coming
- 22:22Speaker 1: over here. Oh so when she don't like eating? Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 1: so you're gonna date the health of that. Don't like
- 22:28Speaker 1: to eat, and we eat people who are eating people?
- 22:34Speaker 1: All right? Moving on to a Brook and Gary Brook rights.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I'm thirty. I'm a thirty year old single woman, and
- 22:41Speaker 1: my married father is having an affair with a married woman.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I'm sleeping with that married woman's husband. Nobody knows what's
- 22:50Speaker 1: up but me. I'm about to end the affair with
- 22:53Speaker 1: this guy because it's too much for me to handle.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Should I go out with a bang and expose everyone? No? No,
- 23:01Speaker 1: no no, why would you do that? Go out with
- 23:06Speaker 1: the bang and expose everyone? Why? What's what's the purpose
- 23:11Speaker 1: in that? People are imperfect? You included, you made a mistake.
- 23:15Speaker 1: That if you want to correct your mistake, going to
- 23:17Speaker 1: correct your mistake, that's all? Who are you? You? Don't
- 23:21Speaker 1: you know? It cused me. When people decide to be
- 23:24Speaker 1: judge and jury, after they decide to get their self right,
- 23:27Speaker 1: then they want to be judge and jury or everybody else?
- 23:31Speaker 1: You single, she's seeing a married man. Her daddy who
- 23:37Speaker 1: is married is seeing the married man's wife. M okay,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and problem, well those are all sorts of problems. But
- 23:46Speaker 1: don't but I mean, but look, I mean everybody in
- 23:49Speaker 1: this you're dating the married man. Your daddy dating the
- 23:52Speaker 1: married woman. He already man, the married woman is dating
- 23:55Speaker 1: the married man. Everybody all this is consensual when and
- 24:00Speaker 1: apparently this ain't your mama, that the daddy with so
- 24:06Speaker 1: no right, this is a whole other woman. This ain't
- 24:09Speaker 1: your mom at all. No, And I got news for you.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Might not know what your mama doing. Oh hello, because
- 24:20Speaker 1: let me tell you something about women. They're not stupid.
- 24:23Speaker 1: No for the goose is good for the gander. Remember
- 24:28Speaker 1: that next question with the bank. Here we go. Unique
- 24:32Speaker 1: in Kansas City, Missouri, because I was stuck in the
- 24:34Speaker 1: back of my man's suv for an hour after his
- 24:38Speaker 1: girlfriend pulled up next to us. We were about to
- 24:41Speaker 1: have sex, and he jumped out and I jumped in
- 24:43Speaker 1: the back. He went to go eat with her, but
- 24:46Speaker 1: I didn't know, so I stayed hidden. He has told
- 24:50Speaker 1: me he's sorry a million times. Should I get have
- 24:52Speaker 1: a second chance? Surely she went to dinner with her boyfriend, Okay,
- 25:01Speaker 1: she was She and her man were in her man's suv. Okay,
- 25:07Speaker 1: So she was stuck in the back of her man's
- 25:10Speaker 1: a shov for an hour after his girlfriend pulled up
- 25:14Speaker 1: next to them, okay, they were about to have sex.
- 25:17Speaker 1: He jumped out, she jumped in the back. He wouldn't
- 25:21Speaker 1: to go eat with his girlfriend who pulled up next
- 25:23Speaker 1: to them. So the woman he was about to have
- 25:25Speaker 1: sex within the truck jumped in the back and she
- 25:28Speaker 1: was in there for we clearly should you give him
- 25:31Speaker 1: another chance? But clearly you're not the girlfriend? No, he ain't.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Can you know where you're in the truck, chick? A
- 25:41Speaker 1: matter of fact, he didn't got out the truck to
- 25:43Speaker 1: go to lunch with his girl. How much low on
- 25:47Speaker 1: the total pole? Do you want to position yourself? Should
- 25:54Speaker 1: I give him another chance? A chance to do what?
- 25:57Speaker 1: To tell you? You ain't nobody right right to get
- 26:01Speaker 1: in the truck again? What he stuck back there? He
- 26:05Speaker 1: almost gave it to me in that truck. Yeah, you
- 26:08Speaker 1: ain't even working rooms, right, girl? Get yourself some standards.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Should I give him another chance to tell you that?
- 26:17Speaker 1: You ain't the one to tell you you have no value?
- 26:22Speaker 1: He's too hot for that's a long term. And your
- 26:29Speaker 1: stupid ass stayed in the truck there. I ain't going
- 26:36Speaker 1: to be back here in no truck now, hallo, are
- 26:41Speaker 1: you gonna introduced me? Yeah? Excuse me, ma'am, I was
- 26:46Speaker 1: I'm with him. What is your name, Tino? I'm Keisha? Hello?
- 26:55Speaker 1: He lucky you didn't do that? Right? Yeah? All right?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Moving on, get it together unique. Moving on to Treacy
- 27:02Speaker 1: in Norfolk. Treacy says, my husband and I played a
- 27:06Speaker 1: drinking game with other couples and I found out that
- 27:09Speaker 1: he had had a threesome and he's tried cocaine before. Wow,
- 27:13Speaker 1: We've been together for five years and this has never
- 27:16Speaker 1: come up. He keeps saying he was just trying to
- 27:19Speaker 1: be a good sport and it's not true. How can
- 27:22Speaker 1: I get the truth without nagging? Well, you know, what
- 27:26Speaker 1: are you kidding me? Y'all? Was playing a drinking game.
- 27:31Speaker 1: He obviously had to drink and then tell some stuff.
- 27:34Speaker 1: He didn't told you try cocaine and he didn't had
- 27:38Speaker 1: a threesome. Do you want some more truth from him? Yet?
- 27:45Speaker 1: Listen to me, a little girl. You probably need to
- 27:46Speaker 1: cut your losses right here for you find out some une.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Let it go. See O he messed around and tell
- 27:53Speaker 1: you who who? What the three people wore? Hello? Yeah,
- 28:01Speaker 1: they've been together for five years and she said it
- 28:04Speaker 1: just never came up. Yeah, you can't tell everything. Say
- 28:13Speaker 1: it all the time. We say it all the time.
- 28:16Speaker 1: All right, Well that's the last one, Steve. Wow, does
- 28:25Speaker 1: she need to know the truth? No? See, that's why
- 28:29Speaker 1: I tell y'all all the time. This is why you
- 28:31Speaker 1: had to lie. You're going there telling the truth now
- 28:33Speaker 1: now here we are, we are damn Strawberry. Let him
- 28:36Speaker 1: all this truth telling. Now she'd rode in on the
- 28:38Speaker 1: show and all this here. All you had to do
- 28:40Speaker 1: was lie. I've never been with three people, I never
- 28:44Speaker 1: tried any drugs. That all you had to do. Simple,
- 28:48Speaker 1: We right back to this happy five year relationship. You
- 28:51Speaker 1: are telling the damn truth with Joe dumb All right, Steve,

- 31:35Speaker 1: to my little girl, not if I can hold it,
- 31:36Speaker 1: not if I can do something about it. So but
- 31:38Speaker 1: I gotta trust her, you know, I gotta trust her
- 31:42Speaker 1: that that we've instealed everything in it, that she needs
- 31:44Speaker 1: to go off and be a lady. So I gotta.
- 31:46Speaker 1: I gotta do that. But I'm trusting it. But I'm
- 31:50Speaker 1: still popping the hell up to hell. I'm sorry, I'm
- 31:54Speaker 1: doing both. Trust I don't trust everybody else. Put it
- 31:58Speaker 1: that way. I trust you. I don't up there everybody else. Sidney,
- 32:01Speaker 1: your daddy here. What is that? Congratulations Sydney and other
- 32:10Speaker 1: graduation news. The graduating class of Clark Atlanta University got
- 32:14Speaker 1: more than their diplomas. They got brand new businesses. Commissment
- 32:18Speaker 1: speaker Alicia Pinky Cole. We know Alicia Pinky Cole. She
- 32:22Speaker 1: is the founder of Atlanta's super famous restaurant Sloody Vegan,
- 32:27Speaker 1: and she announced that she's partnered with Vary Bank to
- 32:30Speaker 1: provide every single graduate in that audience with a brand
- 32:34Speaker 1: new LLLC and a path to entrepreneurship. Every single graduate
- 32:40Speaker 1: in this audience will leave this stadium as a business owner.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Now that's giving right there, That is giving back. Yeah,
- 32:49Speaker 1: that is big. What a graduation gift I know to
- 32:54Speaker 1: every student night. Wow, Now you gotta do something about it.
- 32:59Speaker 1: You know you get to gift is blessing. You gotta
- 33:01Speaker 1: do something about it. I try to tell college students
- 33:04Speaker 1: what I meet with them. You've made a major accomplishment.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's a huge thing to get a college degree. I
- 33:11Speaker 1: for one, I don't know how you do it. So congratulations,
- 33:13Speaker 1: you've accomplished something that's a major milestone in your life.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Now that you've done that, what you now have as
- 33:21Speaker 1: a piece of paper that will hang on your wall
- 33:23Speaker 1: as decoration unless you do something about it. And that's
- 33:30Speaker 1: what you got to get the business on. Now. I
- 33:34Speaker 1: hate to tell you this, but you've accomplished the easy part.
- 33:38Speaker 1: As hard as college was. That's the easy part. Oh
- 33:43Speaker 1: my god, Oh my god. What's in front of you
- 33:47Speaker 1: is daunting. Get ready? All right? Thank you for that,
- 33:51Speaker 1: Steve Well. This next story is an awful story for
- 33:55Speaker 1: single women. A woman on TikTok shared a video of
- 33:59Speaker 1: her date telling her to either walk home or go
- 34:03Speaker 1: back to his place. In the viral video, the female
- 34:06Speaker 1: is sitting at the table on a first date with
- 34:08Speaker 1: this guy, and after she rejected his invitation to go
- 34:11Speaker 1: back to his apartment, he suggested that she started walking home.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Take a listen, So you're just gonna sell your phone? Yeah?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Are you going to get up and start? Welcome? Why
- 34:21Speaker 1: do I have to walk? Like? I mean? But you're
- 34:26Speaker 1: joking here, so I don't get why I'm walking the
- 34:29Speaker 1: whole I don't get. That doesn't make me. I mean,
- 34:33Speaker 1: you know, you don't want to come back to my
- 34:35Speaker 1: Place's no point of waste together. So I mean, I
- 34:39Speaker 1: feel like I don't want to go to her place
- 34:41Speaker 1: because I don't know you well enough. And it's just
- 34:44Speaker 1: like our first stop meetings, Like does that not maxis
- 34:47Speaker 1: to you? I don't get it. I mean we spend
- 34:50Speaker 1: the whole day together. I'm obviously a check to you know.
- 34:53Speaker 1: I see the police who is punk? Wow? Man, That's
- 34:59Speaker 1: why I'm going up at an right there. It's just
- 35:03Speaker 1: the way a lot of these young men are raised
- 35:06Speaker 1: and bought up. And uh, I mean the young lady handler,
- 35:10Speaker 1: I wish she had just got out the car. Yeah,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and we're right back in that restaurant and called yourself
- 35:15Speaker 1: at uber or call somebody you know, sat down and
- 35:18Speaker 1: just got yourself. You ain't gotta go back and forth
- 35:21Speaker 1: with this dude right here. I just feel like I
- 35:23Speaker 1: spent a whole day with you, and obviously I'm attracted
- 35:26Speaker 1: to you. This is awful. Man. She also gave him
- 35:29Speaker 1: money for gas. She paid for both of their bails.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Man hugs. Yeah, yeah, all right, Uh listen, coming up
- 35:38Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour, we're gonna switch gears,
- 35:41Speaker 1: and our special guests will be the most notable civil
- 35:44Speaker 1: rights attorney of our time, Benjamin Crump. Right after this.
- 35:49Speaker 1: You're listening, Hey, you all asked, promise we've got our
- 35:55Speaker 1: special guests. He is the trial lawyer of our time.
- 36:00Speaker 1: He's been on the front lines of some of the
- 36:02Speaker 1: most notable cases of civil rights and justices. He's joining
- 36:06Speaker 1: us today to discuss the racially motivated mass murder that
- 36:09Speaker 1: occurred in Buffalo, New York. Please welcome to the show, everybody,
- 36:13Speaker 1: our brother Attorney Benjamin Crump. Welcome, Welcome, sir, Good morning,
- 36:19Speaker 1: Steve and everybody. It's such an honor to be here
- 36:22Speaker 1: with you all to talk about this just incredibly important matter.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Attorney Crump, let's do that. What is this exactly? Man?
- 36:31Speaker 1: What do we label? Is this as? How do you
- 36:35Speaker 1: see it? You know, it is not even beautiful in
- 36:39Speaker 1: my mind. This is domestic terrorism. And anybody else who
- 36:46Speaker 1: tries to call it anything else has been disingenuous. You know.
- 36:51Speaker 1: They called the Oklahoma City Obama's domestic terrorism. They called
- 36:56Speaker 1: the Parkland shooting domestic terrorism. And so when this black
- 37:01Speaker 1: people who are targeted by young, depray, sick, racist eight
- 37:07Speaker 1: yo white supremists in a grocery store that he says
- 37:11Speaker 1: in his manifesto, my objective is to kill as many
- 37:17Speaker 1: black people as I can. That fits the very definition
- 37:23Speaker 1: of domestic carrynism and I quote these domestic terrorism a
- 37:29Speaker 1: homegrown terrorism is a form of terrorism in which victims
- 37:35Speaker 1: was in a country or targeted by a perpetrator with
- 37:39Speaker 1: the same citizenship as the victims. Domestic terrorism is violent
- 37:45Speaker 1: criminal at submitted by individuals and our groups to further
- 37:51Speaker 1: ideological goals stemming from domestic influences. Attorney Crumpy seems to
- 37:58Speaker 1: me as though in this country we have more documented
- 38:03Speaker 1: acts of domestic terrorism than we do terrorism from outside
- 38:07Speaker 1: the country. Lines Absolutely, the director of the FBI, the
- 38:13Speaker 1: greatest threat to American society right now is white supremacy.
- 38:20Speaker 1: And so we have to deal with not just the
- 38:23Speaker 1: sick individual who did this hate for act, but Steve,
- 38:28Speaker 1: but we also have to deal with the root of
- 38:31Speaker 1: the hate, and that is these individuals who are inspiring
- 38:36Speaker 1: these young, insecure white boys to go out and commit
- 38:41Speaker 1: sense let's acts of violence by coming up with these
- 38:45Speaker 1: crazy notions like race replacement theory that you should feel
- 38:50Speaker 1: fear because you're being replacing you gotta do something about it,
- 38:54Speaker 1: and it's irresponsible and it's dangerous. Yeah, hey, at tourney, Croma,
- 39:00Speaker 1: hold on right there, because when we come back, we
- 39:01Speaker 1: want to talk about those two things right there. We'll
- 39:04Speaker 1: be back with more Attorney Benjamin Crump right after this.
- 39:07Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, everybody, We're back in our special
- 39:13Speaker 1: Guests this morning as Attorney Benjamin Crump, and we're dealing
- 39:16Speaker 1: with we're talking about this act of domestic terrorism that
- 39:20Speaker 1: was perpetrated by this eighteen year old white supremacy in Buffalo,
- 39:24Speaker 1: New York. I wanted to ask you a couple of
- 39:27Speaker 1: things that we want to talk about. The family Ruthwood
- 39:30Speaker 1: feel in a minute, which you're representing, we were talking
- 39:34Speaker 1: about race replacement. I want to ask you a question.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I'm really I've been watching Fox News and I can
- 39:43Speaker 1: honestly say at this point that I actually miss Bill
- 39:46Speaker 1: O'Reilly because Bill O'Reilly and Ben Glack Glenn Beck actually
- 39:52Speaker 1: had some line that they drew in the sign. You know,
- 39:57Speaker 1: every now and then, you know Bill Riley would call
- 39:59Speaker 1: out Roun on the right side. This guy, I mean Hannity,
- 40:04Speaker 1: but Tucker Carlson is at a level that I've never
- 40:10Speaker 1: seen on a TV anchor person in my life. His
- 40:15Speaker 1: comments about this eighteen year old white supremacis have been
- 40:17Speaker 1: just I mean, this this guy is ridiculous. Man. Do
- 40:21Speaker 1: you have any thoughts on the views that they take, Well,
- 40:25Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, you know it's thought provoking, mindboggling. It used
- 40:30Speaker 1: to be these crazy theories who are just on the
- 40:33Speaker 1: fringe of the far right, but now they are making
- 40:38Speaker 1: it acceptable in mainstream society to say those things that
- 40:44Speaker 1: inspire these young people. And you have it from the
- 40:48Speaker 1: cable news provocateurs. You have it from these conservative politicians
- 40:55Speaker 1: who are trying to help build and expand their base
- 40:59Speaker 1: and are doing it at the expense of knowing that
- 41:03Speaker 1: real people are gonna get killed and mass shootings are
- 41:09Speaker 1: gonna happen based on what they're saying. We must remember
- 41:13Speaker 1: that the Jewish temples in New York, that young white
- 41:19Speaker 1: supremac said very similar things to what this young white
- 41:23Speaker 1: supremac said about Buffalo, New York shoot and when he
- 41:28Speaker 1: talked about in that manifesto that if white people don't
- 41:33Speaker 1: do something now, they're gonna take over our country as
- 41:37Speaker 1: if we are not Americans. And that is what they
- 41:42Speaker 1: push on Fox, that there are some people who are
- 41:45Speaker 1: more fit to be American citizens than ore and see
- 41:52Speaker 1: I just you know they're saying that you and I
- 41:55Speaker 1: and our children. We are not as appropriate to be
- 41:59Speaker 1: an American citizens when you think about everything black people
- 42:04Speaker 1: has done for America. We built this joint for free,
- 42:07Speaker 1: and they still try to say they are more appropriate
- 42:12Speaker 1: to be recognized as American citizens than us. That's what
- 42:17Speaker 1: we have to call out. That is the root of
- 42:20Speaker 1: the hate plan on this spirit insecurity. And if we
- 42:24Speaker 1: don't address that, it's not enough just to hold accountable
- 42:28Speaker 1: this little racist white board. We have to deal with
- 42:33Speaker 1: those journalists who got audience of millions that they are
- 42:38Speaker 1: radicalizing every day. I mean they're radicalizing them Steves, just
- 42:43Speaker 1: like being radicalized young people in their native land to
- 42:48Speaker 1: go through crazy sense of sacts of violence. Well, that's
- 42:52Speaker 1: what they're doing here with these young white boys, and
- 42:54Speaker 1: we have to call it out. We can't call what
- 42:57Speaker 1: they do either. And this here is that's evil. No,
- 43:01Speaker 1: when you go into a church in South Carolina and
- 43:03Speaker 1: you kill none of the most innocent people, you come
- 43:06Speaker 1: to Buffalo, you kill tens of the most innocent people were.
- 43:11Speaker 1: How is that any different what they're doing and they
- 43:15Speaker 1: accused being a loting on them. That's all we're saying.
- 43:18Speaker 1: We got to call hate, hate and domestic terrorism domestic terrorism.
- 43:23Speaker 1: And when they try to say, well, we just call
- 43:26Speaker 1: crime crime when it's Buffalo, but then in Parkland it's
- 43:30Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. It's the worst thing we've ever seen where
- 43:33Speaker 1: it's the worst thing that black people ever seen too.
- 43:36Speaker 1: When you kill us and we keep seeing it over
- 43:39Speaker 1: and over and over. They hang on one more time
- 43:41Speaker 1: for the Attorney Clump. I want to ask you a
- 43:44Speaker 1: couple of more questions when we come back. You're listening.
- 43:52Speaker 1: We're back, everybody. We've got our special guests, Attorney Benjamin
- 43:55Speaker 1: Crump on the phone, and he's on here talking about
- 43:58Speaker 1: the tragedy that occurred in Buffalo. I wanted to ask
- 44:01Speaker 1: you something because you're representing the family of Ruth Whitfield,
- 44:06Speaker 1: the eighty six year old woman who was amongst those
- 44:08Speaker 1: killed in the two minute attack. How did this come about,
- 44:13Speaker 1: Attorney Crump? Yeah, you know, Steve, oftentimes when things happen
- 44:19Speaker 1: to people, especially marginalized people of color, they don't know
- 44:24Speaker 1: what to do. It is utterly shocking, and so they
- 44:28Speaker 1: reach out to us because they trust my law firm
- 44:32Speaker 1: to fight for them, and they understand that, you know,
- 44:36Speaker 1: they're no guarantees, but they want somebody to at least
- 44:39Speaker 1: fight for them. And you know, Steve, the reason I
- 44:43Speaker 1: love you so much, brother, You say what you mean,
- 44:45Speaker 1: and you mean what you say, and I try to
- 44:48Speaker 1: emulate that. So I'm honest with Ruth Field's family that
- 44:53Speaker 1: we're gonna sue these good manufacturers, We're gonna sue these
- 44:57Speaker 1: good distributors. We're gonna try to whole accountable anybody who
- 45:02Speaker 1: might have had anything to do with this young eighteen
- 45:06Speaker 1: ye white supremise killing their mother, even his parents who
- 45:11Speaker 1: bought them guns. The person who sold this eighteen year
- 45:14Speaker 1: old boy a R fifteen that can shoot seventy rounds
- 45:19Speaker 1: in less than twenty seconds. What do you sell an
- 45:22Speaker 1: eighteen year old a gun like that for? What do
- 45:25Speaker 1: you think they're going to do with it? So we're
- 45:27Speaker 1: dealing with all these issues, Steve, because Ruth Whitfield was
- 45:33Speaker 1: an angel. I mean everybody in the family, everybody in
- 45:36Speaker 1: the community. Her son was the first black fire commissioner
- 45:41Speaker 1: for the city of Buffalo, New York. And he talks
- 45:44Speaker 1: about how his mother every day went to the nursing
- 45:49Speaker 1: home to be able to just take care of her
- 45:55Speaker 1: the love of her life, who she had been married to.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Get this, Steve harb and she had been merit to
- 46:01Speaker 1: him for sixty eight years. And they don't even know
- 46:05Speaker 1: how they're gonna tell their father, Garden the or Whitfield
- 46:09Speaker 1: Senior that the love of his life was killed by
- 46:14Speaker 1: six individual of our committing the act of hate. And
- 46:20Speaker 1: so when we think about this great testament of love
- 46:26Speaker 1: for sixty eight years, who blessed this earth, we won't
- 46:31Speaker 1: let her legacy be defined by this hate or act.
- 46:35Speaker 1: But as her children and grandchildren and great great grandchildren say,
- 46:40Speaker 1: they're going to make sure that there's some positive change
- 46:44Speaker 1: out of this tragedy, and that would be the legacy
- 46:47Speaker 1: befitting such an angel as Ruth Whitfield. Well, Attorney Crump,
- 46:53Speaker 1: I tell you what we're going to be watching this closely.
- 46:55Speaker 1: You know you have our support here on the radio
- 46:58Speaker 1: show for anything messaging we need to get out. I
- 47:02Speaker 1: wish you well with this case. I wish that is
- 47:04Speaker 1: truly a way, even though like you say that I
- 47:07Speaker 1: know guarantees that we can hold people accountable all the
- 47:11Speaker 1: way back to his parents who bought them, to people
- 47:13Speaker 1: who sold it to him. That that's gonna be a
- 47:16Speaker 1: heck of a dog fight, But you demand for it, man,
- 47:19Speaker 1: and we appreciate all you do in terms of civil
- 47:22Speaker 1: rights in this country. If it weren't for you, man,
- 47:25Speaker 1: I don't know who we'd have stepping up in the
- 47:27Speaker 1: forefront and making a stand for us on these very,
- 47:31Speaker 1: very still important issues that just keep playing in our community, man.
- 47:36Speaker 1: And we're sick of it. We're exactly sick of it.
- 47:39Speaker 1: And so hey, man, let's get together with our forces
- 47:42Speaker 1: and see what we can do about some of these
- 47:44Speaker 1: people who are taking our airwaves and spewing this type
- 47:48Speaker 1: of hatred to perpetrate and build up and lift up
- 47:51Speaker 1: people like this. So Attorney Crump, as always, brother, thank
- 47:54Speaker 1: you for coming on. You're always welcome. Our prayers go
- 47:58Speaker 1: out to all the companies in Buffalo, New York. We're
- 48:02Speaker 1: on up there, man. We think about y'all daily and
- 48:05Speaker 1: we are with you and you have our undying support.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Attorney Crupp, we love you, bro, Love you to Stephen. Also,
- 48:13Speaker 1: we represent Andre McNeil's family and Geraldine Talent family. Want
- 48:18Speaker 1: to lift them up as well. Okay, good good, I'm
- 48:21Speaker 1: glad you said that. Thank you, brother, be well. Hey,
- 48:23Speaker 1: love you frad all right, boy. Wow. See that's that's
- 48:29Speaker 1: the part man, that we've you know, when he said
- 48:32Speaker 1: go after all these people, that's the key. But we
- 48:36Speaker 1: gotta get it past you know, some of these judges
- 48:40Speaker 1: and stuff. We gotta get it past them. And that's
- 48:43Speaker 1: the dog fight that we gotta make because we're not
- 48:47Speaker 1: going to get them to change the Second Amendment. That's
- 48:50Speaker 1: not gonna happen. And we're not gonna stop the nr
- 48:53Speaker 1: A from donating more money than anybody to the Conservative
- 48:58Speaker 1: Republican Movement who's support watch the Second Amendment. So we
- 49:01Speaker 1: got to find another way. If we could just get
- 49:03Speaker 1: one judge, one judge somewhere to say, hey, you know what,
- 49:09Speaker 1: the parents never should have but this written Howard cased it.
- 49:13Speaker 1: His mama drove him up. The hi hi as saying
- 49:17Speaker 1: in jail is beyond me. But but we gotta He's
- 49:22Speaker 1: not you know that that that that right there, And
- 49:26Speaker 1: Tucker Carson put the money behind his defense. That's what
- 49:31Speaker 1: I'm talking about. That's dangerous, man. When you use a
- 49:34Speaker 1: platform like we have to support murder crime, acts of violence,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and racism. When you use this platform to support that
- 49:46Speaker 1: domestic terrorism, that's an all time load. When you're using
- 49:49Speaker 1: your brats, Yeah, yeah, exactly. And and like you know,
- 49:57Speaker 1: Attorney Crump said, the FBI says that the number one
- 50:01Speaker 1: problem facing America today is white supremacist. That's the FBI.
- 50:09Speaker 1: That ain't a black organization, that ain't Black Lives Matter,
- 50:13Speaker 1: that's f b I. And we're targeting away most of
- 50:18Speaker 1: it's always us. And there's always some white group that
- 50:22Speaker 1: don't like the other group. Where people gonna understand where
- 50:26Speaker 1: white supremacs really is. It's always a white somewhere that
- 50:31Speaker 1: don't like somebody else because they ain't white. What damn
- 50:38Speaker 1: what we got to do? Man? Why why we got
- 50:40Speaker 1: to keep? Man? See, all of our lives, all of
- 50:43Speaker 1: our parents lives, all of our grandparents, it's the same thing.
- 50:47Speaker 1: It's just I mean, when when is it going to end?
- 50:51Speaker 1: Is the question? And like Attorney Crump said, we built
- 50:55Speaker 1: this nation for free. We built this nation. Man, this hours,
- 51:01Speaker 1: this sint Charles. But we're not Americans. We're not considered Americans. Man,
- 51:08Speaker 1: who's more American than nash We built it, We built America.
- 51:15Speaker 1: We're grieving all over again. Here, yeah, here we are again.
- 51:20Speaker 1: We can't go a quarter without something happening. It's almost like,
- 51:25Speaker 1: oh wait, oh man, are they starting to be okay,
- 51:28Speaker 1: oh no, oh no, they're six weeks. Man. We gotta
- 51:34Speaker 1: do something. They must think to stay country. Who down there?
- 51:38Speaker 1: Ain't we got a white board somewhere. Don't like them?
- 51:42Speaker 1: And and and then and and then here it comes,
- 51:44Speaker 1: and we're just dealing with this. Man. I'm exhaust sixty
- 51:47Speaker 1: five years old, I'm exhausted. I've never known nothing else
- 51:50Speaker 1: but this my entire life. I've never in sixty five
- 51:55Speaker 1: years been able to take a deep ass breath. And
- 51:58Speaker 1: it started since I was a kid. And when the
- 52:01Speaker 1: teacher made us watch in elementary school mar Luther King's
- 52:05Speaker 1: funeral on TV. I'm sitting there, going and my father
- 52:08Speaker 1: said it. Man, that's when I knew something was wrong.
- 52:11Speaker 1: My father said, when he was watching the funeral, he
- 52:14Speaker 1: was crying. My daddy said, white folks don't want us
- 52:17Speaker 1: to have nothing. We can't even have marl Luther King.
- 52:22Speaker 1: How do we shut down these hate sites? Though? What's
- 52:24Speaker 1: the beginning of that? How do you get to where
- 52:26Speaker 1: we can shut these people down? No? No, no, no,
- 52:31Speaker 1: oh no, no no no no, Tommy, that's freedom of speech. See,
- 52:34Speaker 1: these people they got this. This country set up the
- 52:37Speaker 1: freedom of speak. See, you can get a permit to
- 52:42Speaker 1: walk down the street that I live on and pay
- 52:44Speaker 1: taxes on for you to walk down that street and
- 52:47Speaker 1: tell you how much you hate me. All right, Uh,
- 52:50Speaker 1: there's still more work to be done. That's all we
- 52:52Speaker 1: can say. We're gonna switch gears here and get into
- 52:56Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter that's coming up next. The subject is
- 53:00Speaker 1: I'm in sense versus Church Sense. We'll get into it
- 53:03Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to. All right, guys, time

- 54:32Speaker 1: it for you. Strawberry Letter. Clear your throat, let me
- 54:37Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Subject common sense versus Church sense. Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 54:45Speaker 1: I'm close friends with a coworker that is being misled
- 54:49Speaker 1: by religion. She's thirty two years old and single, but
- 54:53Speaker 1: she acts like a sixteen year old dizzy girl. All
- 54:55Speaker 1: of a sudden, she has to check in with one
- 54:58Speaker 1: of her three spiritual visors when she gets to the
- 55:01Speaker 1: office and when she's heading home. She usually talks to
- 55:05Speaker 1: one of them on the phone while she's eating her
- 55:07Speaker 1: lunch too. In the past seven months, she's lost weight,
- 55:11Speaker 1: let her hair grow out, and she stopped polishing her fingernails.
- 55:15Speaker 1: She told me that nails are an attention grabber, and
- 55:18Speaker 1: her church preaches that women should be more in the background.
- 55:22Speaker 1: She has a churchy excuse for doing the craziest things.
- 55:26Speaker 1: She pays her bills and car note and then gives
- 55:29Speaker 1: whatever she's got, whatever she's got left to the church,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and they take her grocery shopping. If she needs to shop,
- 55:36Speaker 1: they give her a church credit card with a small
- 55:39Speaker 1: spending limit. I told her that she's in a cult
- 55:42Speaker 1: and she's slowly but surely getting brainwashed, and she said
- 55:46Speaker 1: it's all kingdom business that she's tending to. She said
- 55:50Speaker 1: that her spiritual advisors call her body a temple and
- 55:54Speaker 1: they love tapping into her energy to give them strength
- 55:57Speaker 1: for the week. If it was with all three, and
- 56:02Speaker 1: she said it was the first time, but now it's
- 56:05Speaker 1: one on one, so the connection can be greater. I
- 56:09Speaker 1: used to burst out laughing, thinking she was joking at first,
- 56:13Speaker 1: but now it's just crazy. She's happier than I've ever
- 56:16Speaker 1: seen her, so it must be beneficial to let the
- 56:19Speaker 1: kingdom run through her weekly. But what I don't want
- 56:23Speaker 1: to happen is for her to lose her job over
- 56:26Speaker 1: this church mess she's stuck in. I can't get through
- 56:29Speaker 1: to her, so should I try talking to her spiritual advisers?
- 56:33Speaker 1: She has no common sense? Yeah, it sounds like she
- 56:37Speaker 1: has no common sense. And I have to give you
- 56:39Speaker 1: a compliment here. You are a very good friend. You're patient,
- 56:43Speaker 1: you're caring. She needs someone like you in her life
- 56:46Speaker 1: right now because this so called religion she's in that
- 56:49Speaker 1: has no name or anything, it sounds like it has
- 56:52Speaker 1: no foundation and God is nowhere to be found in this.
- 56:56Speaker 1: And I say that because there's just too many ungodly
- 57:00Speaker 1: things going on. For instance, you asked her about having sex,
- 57:04Speaker 1: and she says, first she had it with the three men,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and then sex one on one with them. What does
- 57:11Speaker 1: she say to tap into her energy so they could
- 57:15Speaker 1: tap into her energy and have strength for the week.
- 57:18Speaker 1: What religion is this really? You know? Then she gives
- 57:22Speaker 1: all her money to them after her bills and rent
- 57:25Speaker 1: are paid. If she needs to go shopping, she can
- 57:27Speaker 1: do that with the church credit card. And she doesn't
- 57:30Speaker 1: know the difference between someone pimping her and using her
- 57:34Speaker 1: and a real church. Obviously, I agree wholeheartedly with you
- 57:39Speaker 1: one hundred percent that she's definitely brainwatched. She needs to
- 57:43Speaker 1: be rescued and be programmed asap. This is a cult.
- 57:48Speaker 1: This is the has you know, all the signs of
- 57:51Speaker 1: a cult, but she can't see that. And this is terrible.
- 57:55Speaker 1: This is really terrible. Please stay her friend, see if
- 57:58Speaker 1: you can get some other people I don't know involved
- 58:01Speaker 1: to maybe talk to her and get her out of this,
- 58:03Speaker 1: because she is definitely heading down the wrong path. Steve,
- 58:06Speaker 1: this is clearly this is some type of cult message.
- 58:09Speaker 1: This is not you know, and once again, this is
- 58:13Speaker 1: not This is not what God is about. These are
- 58:16Speaker 1: none of the requirements. And he ain't gotten a requirement
- 58:18Speaker 1: for you to have sex with three men so they
- 58:20Speaker 1: can tap into your energy. They're tapping into something. It
- 58:23Speaker 1: ain't your energy though, you know this whole letter man.
- 58:27Speaker 1: It's just it's a sad letter man, because I hate
- 58:29Speaker 1: to see people who are lost get caught up because
- 58:32Speaker 1: they don't know the way. And you know, when you
- 58:36Speaker 1: don't know the way, man, you can be misguided, misled easily,
- 58:40Speaker 1: especially if you're looking for something and somebody comes along
- 58:45Speaker 1: at that moment where you're looking for something and anything
- 58:48Speaker 1: sounds right to some people. And that's what happened in
- 58:52Speaker 1: this case. She's thirty two years old. She acts like
- 58:55Speaker 1: a sixteen year old dizzy girl. All of a sudden,
- 58:58Speaker 1: she got to check in with one her three spiritual
- 59:01Speaker 1: advice when she gets to the office and when she
- 59:04Speaker 1: going home, and she usually talked to one of them
- 59:06Speaker 1: on the phone while she eating her lunch. It's been
- 59:09Speaker 1: seven months, not a girl in lost weight. She to
- 59:12Speaker 1: let her hair grow out, she can stop polishing her
- 59:14Speaker 1: finger nails, and then she said the nails are an
- 59:18Speaker 1: attention grabb her and her church preaches that women should
- 59:21Speaker 1: be more in the background. Him already, what were talking
- 59:26Speaker 1: about here? When this church gets started, the women should
- 59:29Speaker 1: be more in the background. Man, come on, man, I
- 59:34Speaker 1: mean anyway, I got a few more things to say
- 59:39Speaker 1: to you, but you know, I don't know if it's
- 59:41Speaker 1: gonna help because the girl I'd rather talk to the
- 59:44Speaker 1: thirty two year old, But I got some news for
- 59:46Speaker 1: her friends, though it's well. Coming up. At twenty three
- 59:50Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 59:53Speaker 1: response Today's Strawberry letter, subject common Sense versus church sense.
- 59:57Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's very sad
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: strawberry letters, common sense versus church sense. See, this is
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: a letter about a person who's lost. It's looking for something,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: and somebody saw her looking for something and field in
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: the blanks with some mess. Because that's all this is
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: this mess. And I feel sorry for this little sister
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: right here that's got these three spiritual advisors that she
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: talks to when she gets to the office, when she's
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: heading home, when she eating her lunch. They didn't have
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: told her to. She didn't lost weight, she's letting her
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: hair grow out. She didn't stopped polishing her fingernails because
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: she's saying nails are an intention grab and her church
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: preachers that women should be mowing the background. She's got
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: these churchy excuses for doing the craziest thing. So here's
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: what's happening. The girl pays her bills as her car
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: note and then gills whatever she's got left to the church.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: They take her grocery shopping. If she needs to shop,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: they give her a church credit card with a small
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: spending limit. Now a girl told her that's a cault.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: That's exactly what it is, and she's getting brainwashed. But
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: she said, it's all kingdom business. Now. I don't want
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: to say what I've heard that religion is, but I'll
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: just leave that alone. She said, it's all kingdom business
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: that she's tending to. And she said her spiritual advisor
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: called her body a temple and they love tapping into
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: her energy to give them strength for the week. Now,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a girl asked her girlfriend, is that for sex, and
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: she said, it's a lot greater than sex. See. They
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: temple tapping, see, so that makes it greater than it sex.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Were temple tapping? Were tapping into your temple? Were not
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: just having sex? And then she asked it was it
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: with all three and she said it was the first time,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: but Nile's one on one, so the connection can be greater. Now.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: The girl says she used to bust out laughing, thinking
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: she was joking at first, but now it's just crazy.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: She's happier than I've ever seen her, so it must
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: be beneficial to let the kingdom run through her weekly.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: But what I don't want to happen is for her
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: to lose her job over this church mess she's stuck in.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: This is not the most important concern her losing her job.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: The bigger problem is she losing her soul. Damn your job.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: You can get another job. You got one soul. So
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: she's been deceived by this trickery. Got the nerve to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: call it the church, but it is really a cult.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: I can't get through to her soul. Should I try
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: talking to her spiritual advisors? Wow, little girl, what are
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you gonna say to them? They they won't start at
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: this mess. They're the one that is perpetrating the mess.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: That the one that's pulling off the mess. They the
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: one is involved in the mess. What you're gonna say
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: to them? She has no common sense. What I would
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: do if I were you is I would report this institution.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I really would. Now people have the freedom of religion
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: and all like that, but I would put them on notice.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I mean, there are some things you could do to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: unravel this stuff, because this like really is borderline really
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: some dangerous stuff. When you're turning over your entire check
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to a group and they're giving you a small church
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: credit card with a limit on it, and once you
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: start passing our church credit cards for them to buy
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: stuff with collections, getting into some tax situation. I would
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: report them. I would go down to somebody that's some
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: people that go and save and rescue people from groups
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: like this, and I would get some help with it,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: because something's wrong here. When they get through using and
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: abusing this girl, they're gonna throw her out. She gonna
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: either run out of money or she gonna run out
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: of attention, one or the two. So how does this
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: religion explain to her having a family? How does this
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: cult group explain to her about having a husband children?
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Or she just group property? Now? Who are these men?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: They get to decide who sleeps with this girl and
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: how often they get to tap into her energy. This
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: is the happiest she's ever been because she's been lost
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: for so long. Now she thinks she found. But if
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: this is your idea of being found, this is ridiculous.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Right here, I would report it. I would find a group.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I don't know what that is. I have no idea,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: but there are some help groups out there for anybody.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: But they got you know, you can look into this
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: right here, man, This don't have to be I would
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: try to help my friend that way, get some attention
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: some eyeballs on this organization here, so they don't just
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: exist and you know, to other people. Yeah, a lot
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: of eyeballs got put on this Christian Scientology organization cause
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: a lot of stuff that Ronne or Hubbard biss. It's
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: a lot of eyeballs got put on a lot of
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: other groups. And I'm not saying that's a cult or nothing.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm just saying a lot of eyeballs got
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: put on this group and a lot of changes came about,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: and it's continued to come about. I would look into
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: that myself if I were you. This is hate. I
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: don't like this letter because I feel sorry for this
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: thirty two year old girl. She's my daughter, somebody I know.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I go up in there with all advisers asked, let's
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: start right there. Yeah, we really talking tapping into and
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: all this shit. Man, get out of here. I'm I'm
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: tapping to everybody when I get that. Yeah, yeah, but
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: it'll be a different kind of tapping. Your turn, brother,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Steve we Prober. Yeah, all right, um. Leave us your
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey Fm,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Now
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: coming up at forty six minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: have some sports talk with Junior right after this. You're listening,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: all right, it is that time. It is time for
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: junior and sports talk. Hey, Junior, what you got? Thank you, Shirley. Listen, Um,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Tommy Man, you know, we just had crump on and Um,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I just got to thinking about it. You was there?
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: What role could an athlete played today? What's going on
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: with situations like in Buffalo? Because I know when y'all
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: was coming up, man, in the sixties, you had Jim Brown,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: you had Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, you had people
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: like that who are prominent athletes who stepped up for
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: situations such as these, what social injustice? But we're happening, like,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: what role could they do today with everything that's going on,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: like like in both I mean in actuality, man, they're
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: doing a really good job of it. I think I
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: think there's a lot of athletes out there, man that
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: use their voice, man for voting and all like this
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: right here. So I'm like, I've been very, very pleased
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: with the way these young men and young women have
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: behaved on a lot of social issues and So I
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: just think, man, that that's not our problem. I think
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: there's enough athletes who have stepped up for different causes.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: You know, even Colin Kaepernick with the kneel. And you
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: know these young cats, man, when they get socially active, man,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: they're They're a bad group of young dudes. Man. So
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I know I'm I'm an old person, older person on
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the show, but I just gotta tell you, man, I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: think that this generation is getting it right in terms
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: of using their voice because they want to shut them down.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: But these young cats is out here, man, using their
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: voice to bring about change. A lot of rap artists
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: are doing it, especially when it came to voting. That
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: kid Yellowtail that came out with that whole thing about
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: voting and everything. I thought that was slick. You know,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: a lot of people are using their voice. So I
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: don't think that's a problem today. I really don't. Now.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Back in the day, it was more prevalent. Prevalent because
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: we were in the height of civil rights. I mean,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: we was just trying to be able to drink out
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: of day and water, found to go to bathroom and
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: quit getting our asked for for sitting at lunch counters.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: You know what I mean. So it was it was bigger,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: you know, back then, and more and it was and
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: it was a lot more dangerous to speak out then.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: But I do want to say that I think that
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: they are on point. I think these young people today
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: are on point. And I don't think that's our problem.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Our problem is much greater. Our problem is the conservative platform.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Our problem is quite supremacy. Our problem is the freedom
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: to do and say what you want to say. You
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: can get a permit to walk down the black person
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: street to tell him you hate him. So that's a
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: lot of stuff. We got the wrong judges in place
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: because we're not getting the right ones in place, and
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: so right, that's it. But we have to vote on
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: all the elections, not just president, and as a big
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: one coming up tuesday, thank you. Coming up at the
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: top of the hour, here's a question, Wow, um, would
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you live on an old slave plantation? We'll talk about that.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: Answer that question right after this. You're listening to show.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: All right, guys, picture this all right. Imagine you just
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: bought a house and you find out that it used
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: to be a slave plantation. All right. Air Force veteran
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Fred Miller bought a large country home in southern Virginia
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: and found out recently that his ten and a half
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: acres of land was once part of a third teen
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: hundred acre plantation. Miller worked with a local genealogy researcher
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to learn about his family history and connection to what
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: was once the Miller plantation. He was featured on sixty
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Minutes with Leslie Stall and he worked around the abandoned
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: slave cemetery on the park. He walked around the abandoned
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: slave cemetery on the property and counted eight tombstones there
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: and pointed out a lot more. He has plans to
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: restore the quarters now where enslaved people lived on the
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: property to educate others on the history of slavery. He
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: remarked that he hopes his great great grandmother is somehow
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: looking down from heaven and finally cracking a beautiful smile. Interesting, huh.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: So he bought the plantation that his family, you know,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: once worped on, and I mean has plans to restore
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: it and teach people about slavery. I mean, I think
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: it's Powell move myself. I commend him. You know, here's
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: where you enslave my people. Now I'm buying it. How
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: about that? Nah, I'm not gonna let anybody forget what
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: you did to him. So I'm gonna restore it so
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I could teach the message. That's that's that's that's that's
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: power to me. I get it. I appreciate what the
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: would you would you live there though? Ye? I mean
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I understand and restoring it, But what you live there
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: on that property? Well? I um, I think I live
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: down the street from it. Dog, I don't think I'm
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: gonna really be on the plantation. I'm I'm gonna I'm
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I can own it and restore it and have it,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: you know, built up like museum. You can come see
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: it and all that. But I'm gonna be a little
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: further down the way. Though you live on Smith Street,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: You're not gonna yea plantation all plantation Helloa when you
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: think about it, man, Yeah, I mean, but just imagine
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: him walking around, you know, the property and imagining what
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: went before him, what happened you know, his great great grandmother,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: he said in heaven, Now she was there. You know,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: just all that history, all that history and stuff. A
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: really interesting story. Yeah. I like about Air Force veteran
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Fred Miller. Yeah, I think it's a great idea. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: some heavy times we live in here. Yeah, I mean
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: something this week has been really heavy for us. Man, Yeah,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: it really really has. And and so far no resolve
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: as far as what's going on in Brooklyn. Um, I
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: don't know how that's going to turn out. And I
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: said Brooklyn, I met Buffalo, New York. Yeah, something happened
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: in Brooklyn too. What happened in Brooklyn? You were thinking
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: New York and Buffalo. Yeah, I'm in Buffalo. Yeah, nothing
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: happened in Brooklyn. Man. But yeah, m it's just so sad. Yeah.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: But anyway, Yeah, I don't know. Tommy talking about living
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: on the plantation that that is an interesting question. Could
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: you do that? And would you do that? You know
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: by finding the Miles plantation. I'm not living on it. I'mderstanding.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I'm not living You're just gonna restore it and make
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: it historical and teach it to all that you want
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: to live on the Harvey plantation. I'm gonna let him
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: do that. You're going on Tractor Virginia, stay on the
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Harvey plantation. I'm not doing it. He didn't say he
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: would what Steve? What are what what Harvey plantation your
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: ass talking about because you didn't know about it. I
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: buy all of that. I tell you what, if I
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: found it, I'll bide and bawled it out, turn it
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: into a big basketball court, a song, and I gonna
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: be no house if you it would be something the kids.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I like that though. All right, all right, we're moving on. Guys.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: You're listening to show well. A two year old toddler
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: had an extreme case of the muncheese and ordered thirty
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: one cheeseburgers from McDonald's. Did you guys hear that? Two
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: years old ordering thirty with cheeseburgers McDonald's cheeseburgers from door
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: dash Okay, from the door dash app These kids are
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: geniuses and had them delivered to his home. Kelsey Burkhalter
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Golden was stunned when she received an unexpected delivery with
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: the guy holding a big bag of burgers. She jokingly
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: described I've did on Facebook, saying, apparently my two year
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: old knows how to order from DoorDash. Uh. She also
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: shared a picture of her two year old son sitting
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: on the table eating a cheeseburger next to a mound
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: of thirty remaining McDonald's cheeseburgers. The total amount was ninety
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: one seventy and the kid was nice enough. He was
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: so sweet, it was nice enough to include a sixteen
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: dollar tip for the door Dash driver. The two year
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: old kid, he's gonna be big. Don't he eat Aldenburgers?
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Now he can't eat Aldenburger delicious. I'm talking about the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: whoop and argued for order sixteen dollars tip. Right, I'd
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: be vegan after that. After I'll be vegan. Yeah. Just
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: the genius of this two year old to do that,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I mean the order from door Dash, leave a tip
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: all of that. Yeah, pretty genius. All right, We'll have
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play a round
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: of would you rather? Right after this. You're listening to
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now for a round
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: of would you rather? Would you rather have a goal
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: too in the front of your mouth or would you
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: rather have a missing tooth in the front which one
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: gold or just blind? You had to go and give
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: it that goal I can't. I can't have a hole
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: in my head. Open open face too. Yeah, I had
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: a gold too. I can explain the goal too. We
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: can get some jokes going that hole in your head, don't. Yeah,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: go for the goal, Go for the Every time you talk,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: you whistle. You got a little spot understand. So what
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: you so? What you're thinking? At what? It's rough? It's rough?
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: All right? Would you rather take a vow of silence
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: or a vow of celibacy? I think we know the
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: answer to silence? Wait a minute, for how long? I guess,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: just for however long? Just period? We just quiet, say
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: a year. We'll say a year. How about that? Take
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: about silence for a year? Come out some much notebook
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: paper and a pin. I'm gonna be write down so
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: much stuff. I'm gonna do a lot of texting. I'm
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: gonna text your answer. Man, I'm gonna be I'm gonna
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: be celibate for a year. Yeah, okay, what ye I'm
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: gonna do? Yes, sir read, Yes, sir read. I got
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: way too much I got to talk about. Damn. You
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: can't well your show life. You can't do dog, it's
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: nowhere in here. I'm gonna be quiet for a year,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: not a mess up your money on these checks on
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: the table to trying to so we have some sex, man, quiet,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: cut these movies on getting the room, cut that light out.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I'll be fun. I'll be talking again for a year,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: all right. Would you rather have a partner that just
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: knows everything? Or would you rather have an unintelligent partner?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Which one? Oh? What d Yeah? Yeah, yeah he wants
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: somebody with low self can bill up. Yeah, I'm just
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: had to explain her everywhere we go, shirty, I'm just
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: gonna have to explain her. Well, I'm just gonna say
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: it on behalf of myself and Tommy and every other
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: married man. If you have a wife you already married
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: to somebody think they know everything? Notice we notice we
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: didn't answer. Notice we didn't answer. Did already live with
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: a woman that thinks she knows every damn thing? Got
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: the answer for everything? But what did I say? Though?
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I heard you say you was wrong about that too. Oh,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: but we gonna do it though, jazz for peace? Your
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: piece is important. That's right, all right, guys, that's today's
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Thank you? Thank you? Thank you?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Coming up? It is our last break of the day
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: of the week as a matter of fact, and we'll
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: have some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Harvey right after this. You're listening to show. Here we are, guys,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: our last break of the day on this Friday. It's
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: been a week, but we got through it, thank the
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: good Lord. A long week. Yeah, it's been a week.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: It has it really has a lot that's been going on.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: But birthday, boy, it was your birthday this week. It's
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: really gonna know. And he celebrated tank tops trim this
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: room with his shoulders out. That means a little bit.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: The ladies are all covered up and yeah, we all
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: he got his shoulders out, little strap showing it stuff.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: That's just that's just the first strait you grabbed. That's all.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: That's put some on and go to work. When when
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you come to zoom work, you just grab whatever over
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: the Hey, this is me zoom work, all right, guys.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Any questions on the way out to Steve, I was thinking, um,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: you have any advice, you know, based on our clo
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: questions earlier. Uh, these young women, um, some of them,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: especially the single ones, they're kind of struggling, you know,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: meeting good men good guys. Any advice to single women,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: young single women about where to meet how to meet
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: young single men, And there is no advice about that
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: because you don't know where. There's no place you can
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: go and meet guys your soul mating all like this.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Here's the problem today that I found discussing with women.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: The problem is women keep telling me the same thing, Steve,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you don't understand. This is how men are today. All
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: these young men talk this way, act this way, and
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: treat us this way. Okay, cool, all right, let's accept
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: that that's the statement. Let's accept that that's the truth.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: What's the counter to that. The counter to that, young ladies,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: is you don't have to accept any of that behavior,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: and you should not accept or reward bad behavior to yourself.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: If a guy like like you know, I mean, you know,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: like earlier when you played that thing where that guy
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: had took that girl out to dinner I mean lunch
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: or whatever and then wanted to take her home and
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: then she said she wasn't going home, and he said,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: well you can walk home, and she said, are you
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: kidding me? And he said, well, I'll spent the whole
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: day with you. And obviously I'm attracted to you, and
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: if you don't want to go home, and you can
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: go home, I ain't burning no gas taking you home.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: That's what's out there today. But the counter to that
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: is you don't have to accept that because a man
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: will treat you as you demand. If you demand to
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: be treated the right way, a man will do that.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: If he refuses to do that, move on. So stop right,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: stop the feeling that this is how men are. So what?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: But you know what, don't you think there's a certain
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: amount of pressure on single women to have a man,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: to get married, you know, And that's to me what
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: causes them sometimes to act desperate, you know, and all
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: of that, because yeah, you know they right, they settle
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: for guys you know that are beneath them or or
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: and they know they could do much better, guys that
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: they don't deserve that don't treat them. Well. Okay, then
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: if that's the case, let me ask you something. So
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: you want to sign up for a lifetime with this
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: behavior in your act of desperation and wanting so desperately
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: to be in a relationship, to have a family, to
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: be married, You're going to accept what this man puts
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: down and offers to you and you want to make
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: a lifetime commitment to that. I don't think so. No,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I don't think so. You who signs up for misery
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: knowing it's going to be miserable if you're in a
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: relationship that's not good or healthy for you right now?
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Getting married ain't gonna change that right right? But you know,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: some some some women have a thing. You know, I'll
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: get mister right now. He might not be mister Wright,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: but he's mister right now, and you know and all
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: of that, I mean, you know it's problem. The problem
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: with mister right now is Tomorrow's coming. So now what
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: he gonna be then? Because tomorrow comes, So he might
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: be mister right now, but tomorrow when he get here,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: what what he fitting to be? You know? I mean
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I hate to just sound so matter of fact. Or
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you sixty five years of wisdom and common sense, but
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: you don't get it unless somebody gives it to you.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: And I'm sorry it's not the way you think because
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: you're thirty and you don't have the years or experience
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: that I have. But unless someone tells you the truth,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: how do you know the truth? Now? The only other
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: way is to go through the experiences yourself and discover
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: the truth. But if somebody could tell you instead of
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: you having to experience it, don't that make better sense
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: to you? Don't touch that Carolin I, and it's hot, Okay,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: So you don't want to do that, so you want
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: to grab the Carolin I. Now guess why. Now you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: know it's hot. So what I just try to do
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: is offered to women, and hopefully you accept it. Now
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: listen to me. It's difficult explaining these ways that men
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: are to women. So sometimes you got to hit your
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: head up against the wall. Yeah, now I'll tell it
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to you. You ain't gotta believe me, But I do
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: know men, and you can go about it another way.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: And I really feel for women like that. But my
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: suggestion in closing for women is up your standards, do
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: not lower your standards. Do not accept and reward bad behavior.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: You deserve better. You can get better. And I got
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: news for you that is better period to hell with
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: hell right, yes, And that mistreatment of you as a
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: human being, you ain't got to do that. I'd rather
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: be by myself unhappy than with somebody else in miserable.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks today. Talk to God today, y'all.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: He'd love to hear from you. You feel me. See
