- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in it to be true. Good often
- 0:24Speaker 1: together for Please, I don't join joining. You gotta turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you're going to do. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You haven't got to turn them out. The water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water got come Come on your baby, huh. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall well a good mind and everybody y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on, dignity now wanted only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Okay, I want to talk to
- 2:17Speaker 1: you today about success. But I want to talk to
- 2:23Speaker 1: you about it like I usually do in terms of
- 2:27Speaker 1: a principle of it, but I want to share something
- 2:30Speaker 1: with you about it now. I was talking to my
- 2:34Speaker 1: daughter about it. I've talked about my son in law
- 2:38Speaker 1: about it, talked about it with all my children, and
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm really starting to express it to them now because
- 2:44Speaker 1: I'm talking to a wide range of people constantly. But
- 2:48Speaker 1: I want to share something with you. If you have
- 2:51Speaker 1: any aspiration of being successful, I want you to realize,
- 2:56Speaker 1: starting right now, the effort that is going to require.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And that's why I think it stops a lot of people.
- 3:03Speaker 1: I think a lot of people are never told or
- 3:07Speaker 1: don't understand the sheer effort that's that it takes to
- 3:11Speaker 1: become successful at anything, in any area of your life.
- 3:15Speaker 1: If you think that doing your best is enough, that
- 3:19Speaker 1: I got news for you. It's not. Well, Steve, What
- 3:24Speaker 1: if you've done your best, though, and your best ain't
- 3:28Speaker 1: good enough? Well, let me ask you that same question.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Hold on. If you want to be successful and you've
- 3:34Speaker 1: done your best and best isn't good enough? What you through?
- 3:38Speaker 1: That's it? But Steven, was my best? No, no, no,
- 3:42Speaker 1: no no. It was the best you had at that time,
- 3:45Speaker 1: in that particular day. But tomorrow add something to it.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You've never done everything. There is no you can't go
- 3:56Speaker 1: no more, you can't add no more. I've seen marathon
- 4:00Speaker 1: runners end up crawling across the line. I've seen triath
- 4:04Speaker 1: line people man just staggering in the street and didn't
- 4:07Speaker 1: want nobody to help them because they knew that would
- 4:10Speaker 1: disqualify them from the race. You got more? Have you
- 4:15Speaker 1: ever dipped into your reserve tank? That's what we're talking
- 4:19Speaker 1: about now. See all of us have a reserve tank.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You know, I you know, on my ranch. I like
- 4:26Speaker 1: to ride four wheelers. I have all terrain vehicles and
- 4:30Speaker 1: all of them have a gas tank on it and
- 4:33Speaker 1: a gas tank and most of mine, let me see
- 4:35Speaker 1: all of them. Yeah, all of them have gas tank
- 4:37Speaker 1: needles on them, and it lets me know. When I
- 4:40Speaker 1: get down towards eat there's a little lane that's read
- 4:45Speaker 1: that lets me know. Okay, Steve, you're in the danger zone.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Now you're riding into the lowest part of your tank.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But if I keep riding and I forget to get
- 4:53Speaker 1: some gas in there, guess what when it runs out
- 4:57Speaker 1: of gas. All of my all terrain vehe holes, all
- 5:00Speaker 1: of them, Honda, Polaris, all of them. Those are the makers.
- 5:06Speaker 1: There's a button on the gas tank itself that I
- 5:10Speaker 1: can click and it says reserve. That means they know
- 5:16Speaker 1: that for the hardcore riders, they're gonna ride somewhere and
- 5:19Speaker 1: they're gonna get themselves in a situation and they're gonna
- 5:23Speaker 1: run out of everything. They're gonna run out of road,
- 5:25Speaker 1: they're gonna run out of gas. They've prepared because they
- 5:29Speaker 1: know for the hardcore rider, every hardcore rider needs a
- 5:33Speaker 1: reserve tank. And so there's a button that you can
- 5:36Speaker 1: click on the gas tank, that clicks it into a reserve,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and it will give you about fifty miles or twenty
- 5:43Speaker 1: miles worth of gas in that Now, guess what in
- 5:48Speaker 1: that reserve That may be all you need to get
- 5:51Speaker 1: you to where you're going, or get you back to
- 5:54Speaker 1: safety so you can refuel. Don't tell me you've done
- 5:58Speaker 1: your best. When your best, don't cut it. What you're
- 6:00Speaker 1: gonna do. See when best is possible, then good enough
- 6:07Speaker 1: ain't enough. See that's good enough. But if the best
- 6:11Speaker 1: is possible, why would you not shoot for that? And
- 6:13Speaker 1: you you are all capable of making it. But you've
- 6:17Speaker 1: got to change your mindset and realize the effort that
- 6:20Speaker 1: has to be put forth in becoming successful. You've got
- 6:25Speaker 1: to do it relentlessly, over and over and over and
- 6:28Speaker 1: over and every day. I try to do something to
- 6:32Speaker 1: progress my life for the better. I try to do
- 6:35Speaker 1: something every day. I wake up every day with the plan.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Some phone calls, some meetings, some some some interviews. Something
- 6:43Speaker 1: man that's going to advance and move the brand forward.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Because here's what's gonna happen. You are Let's say you
- 6:50Speaker 1: reach your goal. Let's say your goal is to make
- 6:54Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars. Well, I got news for you.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Listen to this. When you make the one hundred thousand dollars,
- 7:02Speaker 1: you can't go on noway and go on vacation and
- 7:04Speaker 1: put your hand behind your head and say I made
- 7:06Speaker 1: a hundred thousand dollars. Guess what you got to do.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You got to find a way now to maintain that
- 7:12Speaker 1: a hundred thousand, to keep it coming in. So you
- 7:16Speaker 1: can't just get there and stop and rest and whoa.
- 7:19Speaker 1: It is harder to maintain your success than it is
- 7:23Speaker 1: to get successful. See. Let's say, let me let me
- 7:27Speaker 1: show you the supposed it takes you five to eight
- 7:31Speaker 1: years to find a way to make fifty thousand dollars.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Let's say it takes you five to eight years to
- 7:39Speaker 1: find a way to make an extra fifty thousand dollars,
- 7:42Speaker 1: and you finally, through work and effort, you get to
- 7:45Speaker 1: the fifty thousand dollars. More, that's that's it's only just
- 7:50Speaker 1: begun now, because guess what, in order to keep the
- 7:54Speaker 1: fifty coming in, you got to duplicate what you did
- 7:58Speaker 1: to get there. And then, oh, here's what you're going
- 8:02Speaker 1: to have the audacity being a human being You're gonna
- 8:05Speaker 1: want another fifty because you're a human being, because you
- 8:10Speaker 1: gotta have something else to shoot for. Now you're gonna
- 8:13Speaker 1: want another fifty. Well, now, I guess what you gotta do. Now,
- 8:16Speaker 1: Now you gotta do what you did before, plus you
- 8:18Speaker 1: gotta come up with something else. Then after that, you're
- 8:22Speaker 1: gonna have the audacity. Because you're humans, You're gonna want
- 8:24Speaker 1: another fifty. Says how this works? And see that that's
- 8:31Speaker 1: the that's the importance of your relationship with God, because
- 8:34Speaker 1: you're gonna constantly need it and ain't have a point
- 8:37Speaker 1: where you're gonna be through needing it. But there ain't
- 8:40Speaker 1: gonna become a point in your life where you're gonna through.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Won't through, be through, won't nothing unless you don't just
- 8:44Speaker 1: gave up. And if you don't gave up, who wants that?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, this is going to take quite a
- 8:51Speaker 1: bit of effort, and if you think it will come
- 8:54Speaker 1: to you any other way, you're sadly mistaken. Because of
- 8:58Speaker 1: all the successful people I know, I know that the
- 9:01Speaker 1: effort they put out on a daily basis is daunting,
- 9:04Speaker 1: and I think that the average person just doesn't understand
- 9:07Speaker 1: the requirement of time and effort that it takes to
- 9:10Speaker 1: get that, and willingness to put it out. You gotta
- 9:14Speaker 1: cut a lot of monkey business out your life. All
- 9:17Speaker 1: that hanging out, all that late and all that club
- 9:20Speaker 1: and all that drinking, all that. You gotta cut a
- 9:23Speaker 1: whole lot of monkey business out to be successful. Man,
- 9:27Speaker 1: if you're planning on being successful, get up early, stay
- 9:32Speaker 1: up late, work, try, think, meet, greet, smile, attract. It
- 9:38Speaker 1: takes a lot, let's go, but you can do it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: God is pressed to plassing out blessings all day long.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Why are you not in line for yours? I'm telling
- 9:46Speaker 1: you right now, I want everything God got for me,
- 9:49Speaker 1: because what he's shown me so far. Who if he
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some mo man on man, how good is God? Huh?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Thursday Thursday? Thank god? It is third. Matter of fact,
- 10:05Speaker 1: it's Tommy Thursday. How about that. It's Tommy Thursday. So
- 10:09Speaker 1: I'm in control in the booth today and it is Thursday.
- 10:12Speaker 1: It's Tommy is Thursday. I get to I get to
- 10:15Speaker 1: run things. I don't get to run things that much,
- 10:16Speaker 1: but today I get to run things. It's Timmy Thursday.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Good morning to the beautiful ladies that Shirley that's calling.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's missus Monica and the one and only killed Junior
- 10:28Speaker 1: boy as spaces top of the moling. Yeah, Tommy Molin,
- 10:35Speaker 1: you're loud the Tommy Thursday, Yeah, Louie, he can't be
- 10:49Speaker 1: loud on Willie Wednesday, Tommy thirst will Willie wins because
- 10:57Speaker 1: he can't even say it. That why quill and quins
- 11:02Speaker 1: it's time and thirsty? Are you gonna do? Like? You know?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Let me yeah, help me out here, let me see
- 11:11Speaker 1: uh what you got a boy? Yeah? Let me let
- 11:16Speaker 1: me um? How is it possible that you can be
- 11:20Speaker 1: stupid and sexy at the same time. This is something
- 11:23Speaker 1: that you know, it is, Oh, it is one of
- 11:28Speaker 1: the most Yeah, it's one of the most greatest things
- 11:32Speaker 1: in life. That y'all don't really see the geniusness of it,
- 11:35Speaker 1: that I am stupid and a genius all at the
- 11:38Speaker 1: same time. And the fact that y'all don't see it,
- 11:40Speaker 1: that lets me know how much more I am a
- 11:43Speaker 1: genius that y'all don't see it. You understand what I'm saying.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I'm I'm really like, I'm really deep. You know what
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm really deep. But a lot of people
- 11:51Speaker 1: don't get the deepness, the depthness of me. But I'm
- 11:54Speaker 1: sexy and a genius at the same time, Carl, if
- 11:57Speaker 1: you would, well, I'm just saying, I just I'm really
- 12:00Speaker 1: only noticing. You know, Shirley bought up Kanye. You love
- 12:03Speaker 1: yourself like Kanye loves himself, lovesible. But I love my geniosity,
- 12:11Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I love my geniosity and
- 12:13Speaker 1: a lot of a lot of y'all don't see that,
- 12:15Speaker 1: and that that bothers me. But it used to bother
- 12:18Speaker 1: me that that y'all didn't see the genius in me.
- 12:21Speaker 1: But it lets me know they're not geniuses, so they're
- 12:24Speaker 1: not gonna see thee so we're losers. You know. You
- 12:29Speaker 1: know I'm not looking, but I'm not. Y'all have been
- 12:32Speaker 1: meeting me and I don't look at you like that,
- 12:33Speaker 1: but you're not. But you're not a genius, you know
- 12:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And you don't see the geniosity. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 1: yeah no, because I have something else, like I want
- 12:46Speaker 1: to just piggyback with colleges said, yes, you and Kanye
- 12:49Speaker 1: both are the only ones saying your geniuses. Nobody is
- 12:53Speaker 1: contributing to the genius talking but you because that's it. Yeah,
- 13:00Speaker 1: but y'all other geniuses notice us. You see what I'm saying.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Y'all recognize game. Y'all you and a geniuses. Y'all a geniuses.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I mean, I don't expect you to know me. How much?
- 13:13Speaker 1: How could we could? Wow? You're not gonna see that,
- 13:18Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. A little person don't know
- 13:20Speaker 1: another person is a little person. They just don't know.
- 13:22Speaker 1: That's another person. You don't see it? Wow? Wow? Was
- 13:26Speaker 1: that that that genius? Wow? Girl? All right, listen, coming
- 13:33Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, the nephew,
- 13:37Speaker 1: the self proclaimed genius, will be back. We'd run that
- 13:40Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening to show. All Right, guys,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it is time to start your morning off with run
- 13:49Speaker 1: that prank back with the nephew. Nephew what you got
- 13:51Speaker 1: this morning? God is not through with you, but we are.

- 14:35Speaker 1: But what I won't take long. But it really is
- 14:38Speaker 1: a hurt. All right, Well that urgent matter. If you

- 14:54Speaker 1: a bit of a problem here and we're gonna try
- 14:57Speaker 1: to We're trying to clean up a lot of things
- 14:59Speaker 1: here at the church. You know, I hate to be
- 15:01Speaker 1: the one to bring you some bad news. Let me
- 15:05Speaker 1: just start by by saying that God might not be
- 15:08Speaker 1: through with you, but we are here at the church.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It has been brought to our attention, uh, sister car
- 15:15Speaker 1: that you guys are halfway coming to church. You you
- 15:18Speaker 1: you might come once once out of a month. You're
- 15:21Speaker 1: not tithing as we expected. You know, the church can't
- 15:25Speaker 1: really depend on you. Um, it's you you got you know,
- 15:28Speaker 1: you bring your kids. I think your brother comes to
- 15:31Speaker 1: the church. But everybody is coming every now and then.
- 15:34Speaker 1: We cannot depend on you all to be the members
- 15:38Speaker 1: and have the expectation of what we're trying to say.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You say, your name is yes, and you work, you
- 15:49Speaker 1: work on the Dacian. I'm sorry, I've never heard of
- 15:53Speaker 1: you before. I have been officiated by the pastor as
- 15:56Speaker 1: I'm over actually over the finance and we're going through
- 16:00Speaker 1: all of the books and looking at all of the
- 16:01Speaker 1: numbers of the of the members of the church and directory,
- 16:05Speaker 1: and we're noticing what people are pan tide, what people
- 16:08Speaker 1: are fantide, who's coming to church, who's participating in different
- 16:12Speaker 1: and different UH ministries and whatnot. And Sister Takar, I
- 16:16Speaker 1: got I have to be honest with you. You you
- 16:18Speaker 1: am maybe wants every one of the mind. We might
- 16:22Speaker 1: see you might not see you, you know, and like
- 16:24Speaker 1: I said, God may not be through with you, but
- 16:27Speaker 1: we are well, okay, you been saying that. Why I
- 16:33Speaker 1: don't understand, like y'all monitoring my my my church going
- 16:37Speaker 1: like I can't, I can't. I have to go every
- 16:40Speaker 1: single week. I mean, I wh why are you absence
- 16:44Speaker 1: so much at the church? Explaining that I mean, I
- 16:47Speaker 1: have three kids, you know, I mean I have, y'all.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Sometimes I don't. I mean, I still pray. I don't
- 16:55Speaker 1: understand how a church can are you y'all? Sir? You
- 16:59Speaker 1: got two job? But we're not getting tied like you
- 17:02Speaker 1: got two jobs. You're not tiding like you got two
- 17:05Speaker 1: jobs because I can't afford you. Just you just said
- 17:08Speaker 1: I got two jobs. That's what you just said, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: that those two jobs are in supporting my church. I mean,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I can't support the church and my kids. Is the
- 17:16Speaker 1: same rum. I can't do both. I mean, I give
- 17:19Speaker 1: when I can. Let me ask you something. What are
- 17:23Speaker 1: you making on that other job? Are you serious? Are
- 17:26Speaker 1: you really? You? Really? You really? As I didn't know
- 17:31Speaker 1: the church? God is this deep with you really asking
- 17:34Speaker 1: me how much I make and my fucking y'all that
- 17:37Speaker 1: I to support my kids? Come on, now, did this
- 17:41Speaker 1: gotta be something? This is I'm gonna say this to
- 17:44Speaker 1: you again. God may not be through with you, but
- 17:48Speaker 1: we are. You are not gonna pay your ties. If
- 17:52Speaker 1: you're not gonna come to work on a consistent basis,
- 17:56Speaker 1: then what what do you benefit the church? What the
- 18:00Speaker 1: church is about? This can't be I'm gonna say this.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this to you. You let me tell
- 18:06Speaker 1: you what the church is all about. The churches hey,
- 18:09Speaker 1: and you say we go with you again one more time.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I'm serious. No, I'm gonna tell you this. You're talking
- 18:15Speaker 1: about this, that what the church is about. Let me
- 18:16Speaker 1: tell you what the church is. The church is a
- 18:19Speaker 1: hospital for cripple souls. You understand it, That's what That's
- 18:25Speaker 1: what the church is. But when when we have the
- 18:27Speaker 1: souls that are coming in to be saved, we are
- 18:31Speaker 1: doing our job. And guess what those people that are
- 18:35Speaker 1: coming and you know what they're doing. They're tithing. That's
- 18:37Speaker 1: what they're doing. They're tithing you, says the Dakara. I'm
- 18:42Speaker 1: sure your soul's crippled. You're not coming and you're not tithing.
- 18:46Speaker 1: You may give us a little some something when you
- 18:48Speaker 1: show up. If you show up, Am I right? A wrong? Okay?
- 18:53Speaker 1: Hold up? Let me get what this straight. This is
- 18:56Speaker 1: what you call me for in the middle of my
- 18:58Speaker 1: work day to tell me that you're kicking me out
- 19:02Speaker 1: the church because I don't give enough money to the
- 19:05Speaker 1: church while I'm at my job that I can barely
- 19:09Speaker 1: afford to pay my bills with not a fact. I
- 19:13Speaker 1: don't even know who you are. I've never met you
- 19:15Speaker 1: in my life, and I don't know what this church
- 19:19Speaker 1: you know, this church? I hate to say it, but
- 19:21Speaker 1: if that's what the church is about, you had the
- 19:23Speaker 1: nerve to call me. I'm al people on sho Okay,
- 19:30Speaker 1: nna noa, noa. Let me say something now, you being
- 19:33Speaker 1: very Unchristian like, nah, just as the guard. You're gonna
- 19:37Speaker 1: watch it done in your language? Him, this is not
- 19:40Speaker 1: Christian like? Well, well do you do? You know? Brother Dwayne?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Isn't that your brother? Okay? And my brother Duwayne is
- 19:50Speaker 1: who told me to call you? Really my brother? So what? So?
- 19:54Speaker 1: What is it about? Hum? Brother? Whatever? I don't know.
- 19:58Speaker 1: What is Your name? Name is nephew Tommy from the
- 20:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your brother Dwayne got me to
- 20:04Speaker 1: brank phone call you. No, Oh my gosh, yo, he's
- 20:17Speaker 1: about to get me buy you from this job. I'm
- 20:20Speaker 1: in the lobby screaming up. Thanks for looking at me.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Oh my harsh you all right? Yeah? What's up? No? No? Normal?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Oh my god, oh my gosh. My heart is racing.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Tell me this the car? What is the baddest and
- 20:42Speaker 1: I mean the baddest radio show in the land, Steve Harvey.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew coming up, asked the nephew and Junior,
- 20:53Speaker 1: we'll do that right after this. You're listening to morning
- 20:58Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour and

- 23:16Speaker 1: Make that side money then, but but make sure your
- 23:19Speaker 1: prices right, girl, Get you some nice double digits to
- 23:22Speaker 1: triple digits up and there you know it's gonna be

- 35:04Speaker 1: in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll tell you about
- 35:06Speaker 1: a Rochester, New York teacher who was on leave for racism.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Will tell you why right after this. You're listening to
- 35:16Speaker 1: this story right here, Oh my god, Okay, let me
- 35:21Speaker 1: get to it. Let me calm down and then get
- 35:23Speaker 1: to it. A white teacher in Rochester, New York is
- 35:26Speaker 1: on leave right now. This teacher is facing a host
- 35:30Speaker 1: of allegations of racist behavior, including placing handcuffs and leg
- 35:35Speaker 1: shackles on his black students, okay, and making them pick
- 35:40Speaker 1: cotton during a seventh grade social studies class. He referred
- 35:44Speaker 1: to him as massa. One parent said she nearly drove
- 35:49Speaker 1: off the road when her child told her about this
- 35:51Speaker 1: racist incident in school. The school district has confirmed that
- 35:55Speaker 1: this lesson did take place, and it is of great
- 35:58Speaker 1: concern and they are investigating. What what are you doing?
- 36:03Speaker 1: Simply unbelievable that this teacher and I was reading further
- 36:08Speaker 1: on USAToday dot com that he gave them white cotton
- 36:13Speaker 1: balls and told them to pick the cickets out of
- 36:17Speaker 1: the cotton ball. This is a twenty year veteran teacher,
- 36:22Speaker 1: he's an educator, he's a teacher for twenty years. And
- 36:25Speaker 1: this is a curriculum that you chose, you racist, You're
- 36:32Speaker 1: gonna need all these cotton balls off we get through
- 36:37Speaker 1: your behind. This is why we need critical race theory
- 36:40Speaker 1: in schools. They don't want it, but this is why
- 36:43Speaker 1: we need it for incidents just like this, you know.
- 36:46Speaker 1: But what also bothers me, though, Shirley, is what child
- 36:50Speaker 1: allowed you to shackle them and put handcuffs on them? Well?
- 36:53Speaker 1: How did that even? How do we even get to
- 36:55Speaker 1: that point? Yeah? I mean I don't blame the I
- 36:57Speaker 1: don't blame the students. I'm blaming us to Yeah, this
- 37:01Speaker 1: is all on the teacher, all on the teacher. There's
- 37:04Speaker 1: no way he can explained out of this. Well I
- 37:06Speaker 1: was trying to show them what it was like. No,
- 37:08Speaker 1: you can't explain your way out of this. No, no,
- 37:11Speaker 1: then we but but go ahead, go ahead, that's your demonstration,
- 37:14Speaker 1: but let's show it. Let's demonstrate a nice ass whopan
- 37:18Speaker 1: So you understand what comes when you do this. Yes,
- 37:23Speaker 1: we're gonna. We're gonna when you get through teaching, we're
- 37:25Speaker 1: gonna teach you what goes when you when you're bringing
- 37:28Speaker 1: this up right or the next lesson we have in
- 37:31Speaker 1: tomorrow if my daddy's playing that turner and a lot
- 37:35Speaker 1: different lesson that you're gonna learn. Also, kids in this class,
- 37:39Speaker 1: that a yes yet, And I'm talking about in real time.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I'm with the parent who said she nearly drove off
- 37:47Speaker 1: the cold when her child told her this. Yeah, I
- 37:50Speaker 1: mean that would be your reaction, but I leave he
- 37:54Speaker 1: didn't be fired then right at the five. Then that asswhoop,
- 38:07Speaker 1: and the school district. I'm mad at them. It's of
- 38:10Speaker 1: great concern, and we are investigating. Excuse you, no, alight, cotton,
- 38:17Speaker 1: I'm not picking non immediately all right? You had cotton cloth,
- 38:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry you do? Oh my clothes, silk, ray I don't.
- 38:28Speaker 1: I don't have none, all right. Coming up at thirty
- 38:30Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, we'll talk more about the
- 38:33Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle incident, because that is still trending. Right after this.
- 38:37Speaker 1: You're listening to show still trending Tuesday night in Los
- 38:43Speaker 1: Angeles a person ran up on stage in rush. Dave
- 38:48Speaker 1: Chappelle tackled him on stage. As Dave Chappelle was wrapping
- 38:52Speaker 1: up his set, police came in arrested the suspect. They
- 38:56Speaker 1: confiscated a knife and gun from this suspect. Onepell's personal Yes, yes, yes,
- 39:02Speaker 1: one Chappelle's personal security cleared the Hollywood Bowl stage. Dave
- 39:06Speaker 1: composed himself and quipped, quote, it was a trans man,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you know, because yeah, they're angry with yeah. Video reportedly
- 39:16Speaker 1: from the scene shows the suspect being placed on an
- 39:19Speaker 1: ambulance gurnee. His face is rearranged. Right, let's go back.
- 39:26Speaker 1: You said his security cleared the stage. Now I'm just
- 39:29Speaker 1: saying ambulance do you know t let together? Do you
- 39:33Speaker 1: see what hell that's as? Its not right in that part?
- 39:37Speaker 1: Uh huh uh huh. Well they say his face was
- 39:40Speaker 1: rearranged and there's a bend. There's a bend in his
- 39:45Speaker 1: right arm. There's a bend in his right arm broke. Yeah,
- 39:50Speaker 1: that's the cleared part. We cleared. Let's stay yeah, yeah yeah.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle headlined Tuesday Nights Netflix is a joke best
- 39:59Speaker 1: he It's controversy last year you recall with transphobic jokes
- 40:04Speaker 1: in his Netflix comedy special. Nonetheless, we all know that
- 40:08Speaker 1: Netflix reassigned to a multi special contract. So there you go. Yeah,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I see where it's going. I see where where as
- 40:17Speaker 1: a comedian where I see. No, it's it's about to happen.
- 40:21Speaker 1: It's been just like you know, um football games. It
- 40:25Speaker 1: used to be the thing who was gonna be the
- 40:27Speaker 1: idiot at the super Bowl to run across the field,
- 40:30Speaker 1: make it. You know what I'm talking about, streaking across
- 40:32Speaker 1: the So now somebody who wants to try it, so
- 40:35Speaker 1: wants to try Okay, all right, all right, I'll tell
- 40:37Speaker 1: you what. July first, I'm in Columbia. Come track, Come
- 40:41Speaker 1: track Facebook. Gonna be different than next Day, Come track, track,
- 40:45Speaker 1: try track at the Koger. I said that, I said
- 40:49Speaker 1: Kroger to Day at the but come on the Coga
- 40:59Speaker 1: and try you go, you go thank you at the supermarket.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Yeah you know yeah, And it's very different than Will Smith.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Very different, very good the story. Yeah, the very different.
- 41:14Speaker 1: It's Amberlances. It's rearranged a whole lot of dialogue that
- 41:20Speaker 1: didn't even know what happened. Come on, man, Yeah, you
- 41:26Speaker 1: guys really feel you know with comedy. I mean I
- 41:29Speaker 1: even heard Sheryl Underwood saying on the Talk and she
- 41:32Speaker 1: was concerned. She was worried about doing comed right after
- 41:36Speaker 1: the right right after the Will Smith incident. So now
- 41:39Speaker 1: this with Dave Chappelle, how do you guys really fair?
- 41:44Speaker 1: You know, I'll be honest with you. I am cautious
- 41:48Speaker 1: when I go out there. I go, I look on
- 41:50Speaker 1: side and stay, I see who's out there after having fun.
- 41:53Speaker 1: You know, I checked to see what the tempest before
- 41:55Speaker 1: I walk out there. You know, but you that I
- 41:57Speaker 1: never used to do that until the Will Smith thing.
- 42:00Speaker 1: And now I go on the side SA features act
- 42:02Speaker 1: on there and I go out there and look right
- 42:04Speaker 1: before I watched, let me see how they're doing. You know.
- 42:06Speaker 1: It makes sure there's nobody in the audience that's crazy.
- 42:08Speaker 1: So yeah, it does have a different effect where I
- 42:10Speaker 1: just can't relax the whole time for our go on stage.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Now I got to go check to see what's going
- 42:15Speaker 1: on out there, or send somebody and let me ask
- 42:18Speaker 1: you this, Tommy there, let me ask you this. Is
- 42:20Speaker 1: there a certain amount of people that should be backstage? Um,
- 42:25Speaker 1: you know when you're performing and and you know or
- 42:28Speaker 1: do you prefer stage. A lot of us do not
- 42:30Speaker 1: like clear backstage. We like it clear. We don't like backstage.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Your securities. Backstage, you're security really on the side of
- 42:37Speaker 1: the stage. Yeah, he's right there, He's not going anywhere.
- 42:40Speaker 1: He's there the entire time that you are on stage.
- 42:43Speaker 1: When when I move, he moved, just like that, He's
- 42:47Speaker 1: always there. I don't when you got a whole gallery
- 42:50Speaker 1: of people in the back, it's too much going on.
- 42:53Speaker 1: You can't concentrate, and you got these other eyes looking
- 42:56Speaker 1: at you that you're like, Okay, this is uncomfortable. There's
- 42:58Speaker 1: too many people over here, and you start looking over there.
- 43:01Speaker 1: You constantly start looking over there, like and it takes
- 43:04Speaker 1: your focus away from the audience. But I will say
- 43:07Speaker 1: this run up on me. I'm sorry, I am everybody
- 43:14Speaker 1: knows if you over if they over fifty, everybody over
- 43:17Speaker 1: fifty got one more left in us. Run up home us, Tommy.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I felt that one. I felt that one swallow yea,
- 43:26Speaker 1: I have come all right, coming up with the brank
- 43:33Speaker 1: phone call right after this, you're listening Morning show coming
- 43:39Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 43:41Speaker 1: minutes after it's my strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 43:46Speaker 1: she doesn't know he's my husband? All right, she doesn't
- 43:51Speaker 1: know he's my husband. We'll get into that. This has
- 43:57Speaker 1: a twist to it. We'll get into that, uh in
- 44:00Speaker 1: just a few but right now it is a nephew
- 44:02Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone called nephew? What do you
- 44:05Speaker 1: have on the menu for us today? Let's see, I
- 44:09Speaker 1: don't know if we want an appetizer, entree or dessert
- 44:13Speaker 1: type of prank. You know, I appetizer, that's just that's
- 44:18Speaker 1: just that, that's just a warm up prank, you know,
- 44:20Speaker 1: I just get you there. But entree is fulfilling and
- 44:24Speaker 1: then but a dessert is also satisfying. So what what Carla?
- 44:29Speaker 1: What can you want today? You want to appetize the
- 44:32Speaker 1: entree or dessert or side iem? You know what do
- 44:36Speaker 1: you want? Pick a prank that Dave Chappelle would be
- 44:40Speaker 1: proud of? Is that an appetizers? Oh? You want to
- 44:46Speaker 1: go for the gusto? You want it? You want one
- 44:50Speaker 1: of the specials on that ain't on to meet you?
- 44:52Speaker 1: You want special? Yeah? Yeah, okay, well that would be
- 45:01Speaker 1: let's go. That's my granddad thinking those noises. I love him. Okay,
- 45:16Speaker 1: My my dad's boat, my daddy's boat. All right. Now
- 45:21Speaker 1: that right there, that's that's that's David Chappelle worthy right there.
- 45:26Speaker 1: My daddy is that dog. If you would hello, I'm
- 45:34Speaker 1: trying to reach you, mister Wilson, Please, mister Wilson, how
- 45:39Speaker 1: are you today? My name is Williams. Well, listen, we've
- 45:46Speaker 1: been getting a few complaints, sir, about some things on
- 45:49Speaker 1: your property there. Actually I'm with the homeowners Association. Wanted
- 45:55Speaker 1: to reach out and give you a call today. Oh well,
- 45:58Speaker 1: how are you doing? Pretty good? Listen. Um, got a
- 46:02Speaker 1: few things I kind of want to discuss with you
- 46:04Speaker 1: here that seemed to be a problem that's taken place
- 46:08Speaker 1: in the neighborhood there. Um, it's been brought to our
- 46:12Speaker 1: attention down here at headquarters that you have a few
- 46:15Speaker 1: things on your property that are are not functioning that
- 46:18Speaker 1: really shouldn't be on the property. You have two cars
- 46:21Speaker 1: supposedly in your driveway that are not being used, been
- 46:24Speaker 1: sitting there for quite some time. Well, yeah, well one
- 46:27Speaker 1: of them I'm currently working on. I'm almost I should
- 46:29Speaker 1: have it repaired. I'm just waiting on getting wait, wait
- 46:32Speaker 1: and get a little extra money to get it take care.
- 46:34Speaker 1: But the other cars just function and I just don't drive,
- 46:36Speaker 1: and I have more than one car. Okay, Now you
- 46:40Speaker 1: you also have a camper that seems to be has
- 46:44Speaker 1: been there for at least eight months now, that's that's
- 46:47Speaker 1: sitting there? Is that correct as well? Yeah? Yeah, I'm
- 46:51Speaker 1: I'm working on getting some storage for that. But it
- 46:53Speaker 1: ain't really been there eight months, just maybe around about
- 46:56Speaker 1: six to seven. You're not in it, not eight months.
- 46:59Speaker 1: And you know, I'm looking at our past records and stuff.
- 47:02Speaker 1: It seems like there was a complaint before about the
- 47:06Speaker 1: you know, keeping the yard, uh pretty cutting all of
- 47:10Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. And I'm just looking at past
- 47:12Speaker 1: complaints that I have here. Now the biggest one that
- 47:14Speaker 1: I have that that's concerning your property, sir, is uh
- 47:19Speaker 1: supposedly in your backyard. Now there's a you have an
- 47:23Speaker 1: old boat that's in your backyard. Yeah, yeah, but I
- 47:28Speaker 1: don't see that both bother nobody. Well, well, I mean
- 47:31Speaker 1: it's it's it's kind of a sore eye for the people.
- 47:33Speaker 1: I think. I think you guys backyards actually bump up
- 47:36Speaker 1: against each other, and you guys have a chain link
- 47:39Speaker 1: fence between the two of you all, and I think
- 47:42Speaker 1: the boat is must be just a sore eye for
- 47:44Speaker 1: the family that's behind you. All. Well, you know, I
- 47:47Speaker 1: don't see myself getting rid of that boat, so I
- 47:51Speaker 1: got a cover on it. Everybody else got a boat.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I don't see. What's the problem is. Well, okay, here's
- 47:56Speaker 1: here's what's actually happening, mister Wilson. What's gonna take place
- 47:59Speaker 1: is there? Now, we're gonna give you a fourteen day extension.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Fourteen days actually to move the car that is not functioning,
- 48:10Speaker 1: the camper as well, and definitely the boat we need.
- 48:13Speaker 1: We're gonna need those three items. We'll get search search.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I ain't got no we moved the boat. I just
- 48:18Speaker 1: told you I was working on so well for storage.
- 48:20Speaker 1: You know, I'm a storage call. Now the boat. Now,
- 48:22Speaker 1: the cab, I'll get that take care. But the boat.
- 48:25Speaker 1: The boat, the boat my daddy gave me, and my
- 48:27Speaker 1: daddy gave me that that that's the only thing my
- 48:29Speaker 1: daddy gave me before he died. Now now I'm not
- 48:32Speaker 1: moving that boat nowhere. The boat won't get fun. If
- 48:35Speaker 1: I take you down that to the water, it works, sir,
- 48:37Speaker 1: and I understand it wholeheartedly. You know, I'm basically I'm
- 48:41Speaker 1: just a messenger I have. I'm gonna have to get
- 48:44Speaker 1: the non functioning car that's not working properly. I'm gonna
- 48:48Speaker 1: have to get that out within the two week notice,
- 48:50Speaker 1: as well as the camper, and definitely the boat. Now
- 48:53Speaker 1: I gotta get that out. That's got to be gone.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I ain't moving. I'll tell you
- 48:57Speaker 1: that that plan what you're gonna do, sir, You gotta
- 49:00Speaker 1: either move the boat or I'm gonna have somebody come
- 49:02Speaker 1: over and haul all of these things away. Well, i'll
- 49:05Speaker 1: tell you what. I got thirteen reasons why you won't
- 49:08Speaker 1: go over and touch that boat, and I got two
- 49:10Speaker 1: moan or two two to thirteen twenty six? I got
- 49:14Speaker 1: thirteen and then I got another twenty six added on
- 49:17Speaker 1: to that why you won't bring now want me to
- 49:19Speaker 1: touch my daddy boat because my daddy gave me that bowl.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I'll be dad at of you. You know, I'm tired
- 49:24Speaker 1: of you with me instead cross street? Eat what won't
- 49:28Speaker 1: report them because I'm not at liberty to give you
- 49:30Speaker 1: the name who's reporting boone? So you haven't live to
- 49:34Speaker 1: give me something because I know down the street that
- 49:36Speaker 1: boat you know, eight months and ain't nobody said saint
- 49:39Speaker 1: to him. So why the hell y'all mean about how
- 49:42Speaker 1: to fold in the backyard to my Dada gave me, sir,
- 49:44Speaker 1: The language is not necessary. The bottom line is I
- 49:49Speaker 1: want to camper out. I want to boat out, and
- 49:52Speaker 1: I want the car that's not functioning move for them
- 49:55Speaker 1: two weeks or I'm towing it out. I tell you what,
- 49:57Speaker 1: I give you a personal invitation to come him. Put
- 50:00Speaker 1: the boat, the campbell, and the car, and I will
- 50:05Speaker 1: beat you like that's what beat you, sir? H wow,
- 50:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna allow one car to stay. I just want
- 50:12Speaker 1: to make sure that you know that I've given you
- 50:14Speaker 1: the statement over the phone, letting you know that what
- 50:17Speaker 1: what has taken place here, the state will take it.
- 50:20Speaker 1: But I ain't moved my daddy boat. You're gonna move
- 50:23Speaker 1: your dad's stinking vote if you don't bring the loan,
- 50:29Speaker 1: Would you bring somebody, sir? Trust me, trust me. If
- 50:32Speaker 1: we come there, we're definitely gonna be bringing authorities with us.
- 50:35Speaker 1: My mighty will go to jail because I love my daddy.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Ain't now I want you. I'm gonna touch my daddy's boat.
- 50:40Speaker 1: That's left me. I got one one thing I need
- 50:43Speaker 1: to say to you, sir, about this in a situation.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Excuse me. All I have to say is this. This
- 50:50Speaker 1: is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 50:54Speaker 1: just got pranked by your brother. All right, man, it's
- 51:10Speaker 1: your brother told me, he said, Man, he'd be going
- 51:12Speaker 1: eddie with the homeowner soldier. He said, Man, just call
- 51:15Speaker 1: him and tell him he got to move all this thing,
- 51:18Speaker 1: he said, but most of all, tell him y'all gonna
- 51:21Speaker 1: haul off that boat. He said, he would kill you
- 51:23Speaker 1: the hand that dog on boat. I love that they
- 51:27Speaker 1: know that, they know that. I got one more question
- 51:31Speaker 1: for you, though, Baby, tell me this. What is the
- 51:33Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land? The show? Let me
- 51:38Speaker 1: tell you something. When you're stupid with a purpose, When
- 51:41Speaker 1: you're stupid with a purpose, you're just when you're stupid
- 51:45Speaker 1: with a purpose. And let me preach on this thing.
- 51:50Speaker 1: What is that purpose? It's to be It's to be stupid.
- 51:53Speaker 1: It's the purpose. I mean. Let me tell you something.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I love my own. He gonna tell you which way
- 51:59Speaker 1: to go in life. You know, motivation. We gonna motivate
- 52:04Speaker 1: you how to reach your goal. And don't do this
- 52:07Speaker 1: in ninety days and don't then, just how you get
- 52:10Speaker 1: to heal and how he slept in the car ain't slepping, No,
- 52:13Speaker 1: damn car, I ain't done it. I have not slep.
- 52:16Speaker 1: I slept in my bed with my mom next door
- 52:20Speaker 1: to my mama and them being being room. I ain't slepping. No,
- 52:23Speaker 1: I'm not sleeping in No damn car, I slept in
- 52:26Speaker 1: my own room. I have my own phone. I struggle
- 52:29Speaker 1: makes you stronger, Yes, this has made me very strong
- 52:33Speaker 1: to grow up in a in a middle class All right,
- 52:37Speaker 1: we gotta go. Coming up next strawberry letter, the subject
- 52:42Speaker 1: she doesn't know he's my husband. We'll get into that

- 54:22Speaker 1: Then Tommy's gonna come through and then junior for today's
- 54:26Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, Say Yeah. The subject is she doesn't know
- 54:29Speaker 1: he's my husband. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a fifty one
- 54:32Speaker 1: year old married woman and my husband and I have
- 54:35Speaker 1: one child. Were separated for a while because he admitted
- 54:39Speaker 1: that he had an emotional affair with the woman he
- 54:41Speaker 1: met in the airport. I saw text messages between my
- 54:45Speaker 1: husband and the woman. She was saved in his phone
- 54:48Speaker 1: as counselor because he told me that he confided in
- 54:51Speaker 1: her and she was easy to talk to. I was
- 54:53Speaker 1: so hurt and confused because I thought I was his everything.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I do not have many girls friends, and my best
- 55:01Speaker 1: friend and I are at odds. So I confided in
- 55:04Speaker 1: a friend that I worked with. I told her that
- 55:06Speaker 1: my marriage may be over, but I didn't give her
- 55:09Speaker 1: any specific details on the issue. She suggested that we
- 55:13Speaker 1: take an overnight girl's trip to a casino to clear
- 55:17Speaker 1: my mind and unwind. We shared a suite and there
- 55:20Speaker 1: was a bottle of champagne in the room when we
- 55:23Speaker 1: checked in. We finished it within thirty minutes and ordered
- 55:26Speaker 1: room service. She was tipsy and started telling all of
- 55:30Speaker 1: her business. She admitted to having an affair with a
- 55:33Speaker 1: married man, and she said that he's filling a void
- 55:36Speaker 1: in her life while she figures out if she wants
- 55:39Speaker 1: to be with men or women. I was quite tipsy, too,
- 55:43Speaker 1: so when she kissed me, I led her. The situation
- 55:46Speaker 1: got hot and heavy rather quickly, and the next morning
- 55:49Speaker 1: was a bit awkward, so I didn't say much. We're
- 55:52Speaker 1: about to head out when she got a call. She
- 55:55Speaker 1: answered it on speaker, and I got sick to my
- 55:58Speaker 1: stomach when I heard my husband's voice. He told her,
- 56:03Speaker 1: uh huh. He told her that he didn't like sleeping
- 56:06Speaker 1: alone and he was eager to see her. She had
- 56:09Speaker 1: no idea that was my husband on the phone, and
- 56:13Speaker 1: I sat there and listened. Can I be mad at
- 56:16Speaker 1: him since we've both slept with her? I'm non confrontational,
- 56:20Speaker 1: So how do I address this situation with this woman
- 56:23Speaker 1: and my husband? Ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am. This has nothing
- 56:30Speaker 1: to do with being non confrontational or not. I can't
- 56:34Speaker 1: believe you heard your husband's voice on that woman's phone
- 56:37Speaker 1: and sat there and didn't say anything. You realized it
- 56:41Speaker 1: was him when he said hello, Like I said, this
- 56:44Speaker 1: has nothing to do with being non confrontational. You just
- 56:47Speaker 1: can't let people do this to you. I mean, really,
- 56:50Speaker 1: you must have really been struggling at that moment because
- 56:53Speaker 1: you had messed around with this woman the night before.
- 56:56Speaker 1: In the shock of hearing his voice made you shut
- 56:58Speaker 1: all the way down, because I'm sure had you been
- 57:01Speaker 1: in your right mind, you would not have let this
- 57:04Speaker 1: go down like that. What I just you know, first
- 57:10Speaker 1: of all, he told you he had an emotional affair.
- 57:14Speaker 1: You don't believe that, do you? Come on, I think
- 57:18Speaker 1: he lied to you. I think that it was a
- 57:20Speaker 1: physical affair, just like this one is a physical affair. Uh,
- 57:24Speaker 1: don't believe what he tells you believe what comes out
- 57:26Speaker 1: of your husband's mouth. Okay, he had a physical affair
- 57:31Speaker 1: with this woman. I'm sure he probably had something going
- 57:34Speaker 1: on with this other woman too, And uh, you know,
- 57:37Speaker 1: you guys have been separated for a while. The as
- 57:40Speaker 1: the question is and the answer, what are you gonna
- 57:43Speaker 1: do now? You gotta confront your husband. You gotta let
- 57:46Speaker 1: him know what's going on. If you're non confrontational, just
- 57:50Speaker 1: talk to him. You gotta man up, You have to.
- 57:53Speaker 1: You gotta let him know you know what's going on.
- 57:56Speaker 1: This can't continue or he'll he'll he'll keep doing it
- 57:59Speaker 1: to you. This man, you know, if you want him back,
- 58:03Speaker 1: if you want him back, whether you decide or not
- 58:05Speaker 1: to tell him, you gotta tell him, okay, just tell him,
- 58:09Speaker 1: tell him, tell him, tell him. This man has made
- 58:12Speaker 1: his choice. You gotta make a choice. This man has
- 58:15Speaker 1: made a choice, and it's her, all right. Don't let
- 58:17Speaker 1: them do this to you. This makes me so mad
- 58:20Speaker 1: that she didn't say anything. Tommy, you're looking at this wrong.
- 58:24Speaker 1: It's two people that love you. You know what I'm saying.
- 58:27Speaker 1: You got to It's two people that love you. She
- 58:29Speaker 1: love you and he love you. Why don't you see this?
- 58:33Speaker 1: You don't. You don't get it, lady. It's two people.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Embrace that embrace it when you have two people that
- 58:39Speaker 1: love you. I'm apparently if y'all couldn't make eye contact
- 58:43Speaker 1: the next morning, we are read to know what happened
- 58:45Speaker 1: with you and hood in that in that little room,
- 58:48Speaker 1: that hotel room. So that would you enjoy that? I
- 58:52Speaker 1: know how good it is when you can't make eye
- 58:54Speaker 1: contact in them ament. That's beautiful. And then you got him,
- 58:57Speaker 1: all right, and then you you have him and he
- 58:59Speaker 1: loves you and of course, he got to think out
- 59:01Speaker 1: a couple of things going on that you don't know
- 59:02Speaker 1: nothing about, and he emotionally attaches somebody else, and then
- 59:05Speaker 1: he got this woman right here. But don't look at that.
- 59:08Speaker 1: He loves you, and he loves you, love her, and
- 59:11Speaker 1: he loves her. Everybody loves everybody. So it's just the way.
- 59:17Speaker 1: This is a different kind of ready to love. You
- 59:19Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Radio ready to love. This is
- 59:25Speaker 1: radio ready to love. But the love. Hold on, Hold
- 59:30Speaker 1: that thought, Hold that thought. We'll be back with part
- 59:33Speaker 1: two of today's strawberry letter. The subject is she doesn't
- 59:37Speaker 1: know he's my husband. We'll get back into it at
- 59:40Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour when we come back
- 59:42Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show, All right, we're back.
- 59:49Speaker 1: We're gonna recap today's crazy Strawberry letter. The subject is,
- 59:53Speaker 1: she doesn't know he's my husband. A fifty one year
- 59:56Speaker 1: old married woman wrote in she she and her husband
- 59:58Speaker 1: have one child, are separated for a while because her
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: her husband admitted to having an emotional fare with a
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: woman he met at the airport. The wife says she
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: saw text messages between the husband and the woman and
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: she was saved in his phone as counselor. All of this,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: she was upset, so they separated. She was hurt and confused.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: She thought she was her husband's everything. She says she
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: doesn't have girlfriends. Her best friend in our and she
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: are at odds because so, she confided in a friend
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: that she works with. She told the friend that the
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: marriage may be over. She didn't give the friend any specifics,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: but she suggested so. The friends suggested that they take
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: an overnight girl's trip to a casino to clear their
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: minds and unline. They had champagne. One thing led to another.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: The two women got into a trist. Okay, they started
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: doing it all right and yeah, and then tangled trist
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a trist but we're gonna say yes a trip a trist. Yeah.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: So anyway, she got tipsy, they did it. Uh and uh.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: The girlfriend told her that she was seeing a married
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: man and uh, lo and behold. When they were getting
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: ready to leave, the married man calls and uh. The
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: friend put it on speaker and guess who it was.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: It's it's her. It's yes, de serious, it's dearious, it's derrious. Yeah, hell,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I ain't no damn Darius. But the wife is saying.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: She's non confrontational, so she didn't say anything. She just
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: sat there and listened. She never once picked up the phone.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: She never once called his name out. She never once
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: said anything to the woman. She didn't say anything anything
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: to her husband. She's feeling guilty now because she had
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: a tryst with this woman and feeling like, you know,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: she's guilty as her husband because they both, you know,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: had this woman. So this is craziness. She said nothing.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Her husband still doesn't know that her wife was in
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the room of the woman. He called this is crazy.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Tommy says, they both loved her, so this is a
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: good thing. He would say that, I'm just mad because
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: she didn't say anything. You're not gonna say anything, the
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Dearius and Junior, what do you say? Oh? Oh, I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: think this is the wrong title of this letter. I
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: think that off the top, this should be called Everybody
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: know Everybody, because he knows the girl, the girl know him,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: He knows his wife, and she knows the girl. His
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: wife know the girl. Everybody know everybody. But very very
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: confused at how this is the first black woman in
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: history to not say nothing on the phone call. You
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: know what's your husband's voice. There are a lot of
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: missing phrases in this letter that we should have heardybody now,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: we should have been we should have heard. We should
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: have heard like, don't beat that when I get home.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: We should have heard that by now, like I know
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: good hair wear out? That ain't him. We should have
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: heard some name call it like that was no blake?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Nah right, that was nothing. How you difficult? Because see
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you had odds with friends, best friend, you got all
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: these other social issues going on. But how you sit
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: on this phone? You ain't snatched the phone. Where's that
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: line it? You ain't snatched the phone and say it's
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: me right. I don't understand. I don't know how you
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: listen this loan? How much was y'all gambet at the table?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: How much did we win? To shut up? But what
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: is this? This don't make no sense because how is
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: you still having a weekend and you hear your husband?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I don't understand how you doing it? Man. I don't
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: know a black woman I know that's gonna do that.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I have never seen white woman that would let this go.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: I don't know white women women. I don't know with
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: white women. I don't know what woman I don't even
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: want Yeah, I don't know anyone who would let this go.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: And she I know the first thing? She justifies it
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: by saying she's non confrontation or what Tommy, the first
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: thing you're supposed to hear? Yes, I know them. That
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: ain't Dares. I don't know how you sitting over there.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I don't even know how you're still getting dressed. You're
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: still getting dressed, and how you you're supposed to be
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: in your Brazilian girdle? Is that? Is that Darius? I
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: know that ain't Darius. She's saying something. But the question
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: she asked, can I be madden them? Since we both
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: slept with her? Huh? Why is that the question? Yes? Forget,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: forget what I've done. I don't care nothing about what
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I did last night. Is this shoe on this damn phone?
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Is he wasn't? Yeah, he didn't even know that anyway
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: that I thought her? So? Yeah? Anyway, So how do
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I address the situation with this woman and my husband? Girl?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: There's so many ways. There's so many ways, but the
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: slap slap them? You know that? You know I knowed
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: that ain't Darius? Yes, that has to be I can't
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: listen to statements. Is that blanketed blank Darius and then
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you know she's gonna keep calling his name when she here, Darius, Darius,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: darry Us, Darius's gonna hang out. Oh I know you
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: hit me Darius, but Tommy dar Darius on second? All right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I listen. Thank you guys. Post your coming very one

- 1:06:39Speaker 1: showing up, Tommy, Man, they might, but you know what,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: who does come out there? Thought Timmy. The line for
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: the Dallas Mavericks now this time is we're just gonna
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: have some Mavericks out here because after last night, Yeah,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: the plans is coming to man looking up thirty five,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: that wasn't enough as they fall again. Man, Now Phoenix
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: leads a series to nothing. Man, but Devin Book on
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: his on his second game back after that head string
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: dropped thirty Chris Paul Trip contributed with twenty eight and eight. Man,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: it just wasn't like you say, Tommy, they're down to
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: nothing out of Phoenix and they're heading the Dallas on
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Friday night. But all I know is we may have

- 1:07:23Speaker 1: out there. They may have to travel, but we out
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: there too, man, Philly the seventy sixers. Man, they fell
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: short to the Heat again without Joel and bed one
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: nineteen to one on three to six. The Heat need
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: the series too. Nothing, man, but where's James Hard? Yeah?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I think this might be a sweep here, Tommy, this
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: might be the one be looking for because Harden doing
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a hardened That's all we know. He just I'll tell
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: you right now, Philly and Hus we used to it
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: eighty two games. That boy everything you want for eighty
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: two sold this layoff head game eight it four yea,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: he is nowhere to be found, man, Tyres massive fished
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: with thirty four hard and finished with twenty. But man,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: he was one for five behind the art. So yeah,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: it's it's a little tough. Uh. All I know is
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: this man. If you cannot get joelan be back on
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: this court, I would be going by this house and
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: asking about how this eye doing. Y'all need some information.

- 1:08:25Speaker 1: let's let's call it swept. Let's pass tense, it's swell,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: it's swept. Its probably gonna know. I mean, but ask him, dude,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: what type of glances can't you wearing play? Because you
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: just can't let him sit out. I know he fractured. James.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: You need something that was tough. James took shots to
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: the eye, never broke, never broke. You ain't lying. He

- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Mother's Day is on Sunday, and if you haven't gotten
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: anything from mom, you are in luck. Fifty seven percent
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: of Americans plan to give mom a very nice card
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: for Mother's Day. And that's great, isn't it, because it
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: is exactly what mothers say they want. According to a
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: survey conducted by Lending Tree, the top gift on Mom's
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: wish list this year is just that a nice greeting card.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Thirty six percent of moms said they'd like that over
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: spending quality time with family car They just want to
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: be by themselves as well. Okay, yeah, but despite all that,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Americans are still expected to spend an average of two
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: hundred and twenty five dollars on Mother's Day gifts this year.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: That's up from two dollars two hundred and nineteen dollars
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: from last year. And here's some other interesting findings from
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: the survey. Twenty percent of moms say they've been disappointed
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: by Mother's Day gifts in the past. Now, doesn't Steve
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: say that a lot about Father's Day gifts. Now mothers
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: are saying it too. Hey, I don't know who they
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: poland that they just want to I'm sorry, I take
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: care of my mom. Yeah, I gotta take care of mom. Yeah,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: because this right on this show money. You can't just
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: come in here with no car. Hello, I'm like my grandmother.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I'm like my grandmother. Put my mama with something in
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: that car. Yeah, there you go with that. Let's be
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: let's be clear, just so everybody know, Mother's Day is
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: for your mother. It doesn't say that mother stays for
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: mother's mother stays for mothers. If you're a mother, then
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: you're celebrated on Mother's Day. Period. Mother's Day is for
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: your mama, not necessarily Tommy. Women in your life. Yeah,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: that is a mother, Oh, mama, your sister, your eyes,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: your wife, your baby, mama. You need to celebrate thing women, Tommy,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: that theory you have if you're a if you're a mother,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Oh no, we have fish to do that. Oh no,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: no no, no, oh no no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: excuse you? What Ivan Jones Jones, Mama, what Van Jones
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: call it a consciously? What did you call it? He
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: didn't call it. It is baby mama, but he didn't
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: say that conscious something parents, conscious co parenting. Yeah, your
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: conscious co parent not your baby mama. Yeah. Stop stop yeah,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: and you're the baby daddy, Van Jones, dad stop. Yeah.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: But anyway, back to the issue. Mother. Don't give me
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: no c ann ass. I don't want to see any
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Mother's Days from mother's and she's your baby mama, Van Jones,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: So get her something from Mother's Day, mutters mutter. Muther's Day,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: for sure. Absolutely. Are you excited about Mother's Day? Shirley, Yes,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: of course I am, yes, yes, yes, I'm very excited.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: You know, I have um an event in Atlanta this weekend,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: so I'm excited about that. I'm launching my new candle line.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm excited. Very congratulations. Thank you, my sister,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Thank you. I appreciate that. Thank you. I know you
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: would be there supporting your girl, Carla, I know you would.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: But of course you're a cheer mom, and I know,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: I know. And it's Mother's Day. I get it, that's
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: what it is. And I'm a week I know, do
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: you I understand. I understand. I'm taking my mama to dinner. Nice,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I'm taking my mama to dinner Jackie. Jackie just happened
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: to be going with us, you know. But I'm thinking, Mama,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: if my kids, if my kids want to pay for
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: their mama bills, so be it, because that's day mama.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I'm taking care of my mama. That is so wrong.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: She is the mother, Jackie, is the mother of your children.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? Right? And my children should
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: take care of what day mama. Well, as long as
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: they get the money from their daddy to take care
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: of their mama, then it's all good, all right. Happy
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Mother's Day, everybody. Happy Mother's Day, you're listening show. Well,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I don't know if I could do this or not,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: but Oprah certainly did it. Get a load of this
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: guy's Oprah did not leave her house for three hundred
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: and twenty two days, all right. While many people struggle
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: with social distancing, yeah, during the early days of the
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: COVID nineteen pandemic, Oprah was not one of them. Oprah says,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: I didn't leave for three hundred and twenty two days.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Literally did not leave the house. This is what Oprah
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: told the La Times. She says, what surprised me the
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: most is how well I was able to adjust to
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: the isolation and not being around other people. So the
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: question is do you think you could be alone for
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: three hundred and twenty two days? And when you are alone,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: do you miss people or find it peaceful? That ain't
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: the question. That's not what's going on. Oprah ain't manly, okay,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: that's oh ma'amant forever though. Yeah, it's biggest house. Heals
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: called you love biggest house. You ain't lying, Timmy, You
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: ain't lying. Fifty thousand square feet of a house, Okay,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: you ain't. Hanker goes. You can go some new places
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: every day in the half. It takes two hundred and
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: forty for one trip, so she's seen it but one
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: and a hand turn. I don't know if I could
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: do this because I love people, I love company, and
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I love you know, so I don't know if I
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: could do this three hundred and twenty two days. Yeah
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I could, if I had for some money, I sure could.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Y'all could be locked up a long spouse. Yeah that's
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: a long time. Three twenty two. That's almost a whole year. Yeah,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: all right, coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: guess what we're gonna play a round. I would you
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: rather right after this? You're listening morning show? All right?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Time now, guys for a round? I would you rather?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: the ability to speak? Oh? Well, what if I but
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: if I speak, I can't read. I mean I can't.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: What am I saying? What is? Yeah? What am I
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: gonna be saying? If I can't? I can't. I can speak,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: but I can't read. But I can read, but I
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: can't speak. I rather read and not speak. I'd rather
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: read it not speak. At least I'm knowledgeable, you know.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I don't. You can't tell anybody. Yeah, you don't know.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I'm smart. I'm over here, just quiet and smart. I'd
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: rather not read and just speak. That's what I'd rather
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: not read, just be a speakers. I can see pictures
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: and know that's chicken. I can make. I ain't got
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: to read chicken. I can see that's chicken. I just
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: want you're gonna do it what you're gonna do it?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: To stop saying if it's read, it must mean dangerous.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: I know colors. I can't spare red. I know read.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna be quiet. I am smart, I am can't
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: important you all right? Would you rather work the job
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: you have now for a year at double your salary?
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Or would you rather hey, or would you rather have
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: a year off with what you're making now? No? I got, yeah,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I got yeah. Everybody a on that one. Yeah, everybody
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: not everybody off, not mad at it. But see your mama,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: she's still gonna be working even Yeah, all right. Would
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: you rather be forced to live the same day over
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: and over again for a full year or would you
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: rather take three years off the end of your life
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: the same day for what? Would you rather live the
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: same day over and over again for a full year,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: or would you rather take three years off the end
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: of your life same day? Yeah, you would pick the
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: day if you pick today. It doesn't say that, but
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I know, yeah, I'm doing it all day for a Yeah,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I'm doing it. We don't need to know what you're
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: gonna do. You know that day you did it the
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: whole day. You know that's the day. You're just gonna
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: do that over and over. Well, yeah, but I'm so happy.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: All right? Last one? Would you rather drink sour milk?
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Drink sour milk? Or brush your teeth with soap? Is
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: this feel factor? What is this? Just answer? Spoil milk?
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Or what? Brush your teeth with soap? Oh? I'm bleeding,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I got I'm all yeah, me is dub all in
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: my teeth. I'm doing the soap for sure, so I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: can't dour milk. Yeah, all right, guys, thank you. That
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: is today's round. Yeah, all right, that is today's round
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: of would you rather? Now? Coming up at forty nine
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, guys, it is our last break
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: of the day and we'll be back right after this.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: You're listening to all right? Here we are last break
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: of the day. It's been a crazy day. As usual
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: of the time, we like right, and here's our fearless
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: leader to take us home with closing remarks today, I
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: just want to pose the question because I try to
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: find different ways to motivate people as as I ask
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: God to help me find new ways. Today I just
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: decided to try this. I just want to ask you
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: a series of questions because I'm just trying to get
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: everybody to get to moving towards their dreams. I'm just
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: trying to get everybody to get started on the pathway
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: of accomplishing your visions and your goals and your dreams.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: But it's gonna take some action, though. You know, you
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: can't just want something. Have you ever heard people say
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: if you want something bad enough, it'll happen. That's not true,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: that's that's so not true. Do you know how many
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: times you've actually wanted something really bad and didn't get it? What? Who?
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I don't know who said that? Why? Why they tell
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: people that if you want something bad enough, it'll really happen.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: It can happen, No, it won't. It requires an action.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: Faith without works is dead. If you don't do anything,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: you can't stop expecting to get everything. If you don't
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: do anything, you can stop expecting to get everything. Now,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: God is going to give all of us some grace
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: in spite of our shortcomings and lack of effort. He
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: will give all of us some grace and we'll all
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: get some things that we really don't deserve. You know.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: It just provides us breaks. But in those breaks, He's
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: trying to sustain you, just to get you to say, why, Man,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: if I had just done a little bit more, what
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: could I have had? Or if I had done a
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: little bit more, what could have happened? So my question
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: today for you is just I'm asking you a series
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: of very very simple questions, maybe four or five. You're
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: waiting for? What? Tell me what is it you're waiting for?
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Because oftentimes when I talk to people, I get some
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: responses that just throw me off, you know, because what
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you're waiting for? What what is it going to take
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: to get you started? What is the motivation? What is
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: the button? What is the trigger that fires you to
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: get going to moving towards your dreams and visions? You're
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: waiting for what? I don't understand. Are you perfectly comfortable
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: where you are right now? Have you decided and settled
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: in that this is it for me? Have you gotten
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: tired of waking up and asking the question? And wow,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: it's got to be more to my life than this. What?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Have you just gotten tired of that and you don't
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: want to deal with it no more? So you just
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: decided what that? You're just gonna lock in like where
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I am? It's cool? You all right with that? Let
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: me ask you another question. Have all the ducks ever
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: lined up in a row? Because if that's what you're
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: waiting for, let me just ask you. Has it never
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: been set that while I see exactly step by step,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna ge down. Gonn get that everything is perfect.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna start now. If you're waiting on the perfect
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: time to start, you may never start it because there
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: is no such a thing as the perfect time. The
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: perfect time is now. That's the perfect time. If you're
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: waiting on something else to happen, it probably ain't gonna
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: happen because you gotta figure like this, Suppose it don't
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: happen what you're gonna do, then, so you just got
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to come to that conclude. Suppose it don't happen what
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you're gonna do, then Suppose you don't get to degree
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: what you're gonna do, then you're gonna fail. Suppose you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: don't get that job that you got your eyes on.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: So you don't get that job, So now what you
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: unemployed the rest of your life because you didn't meet
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: that deadline. You can't make another one. You're waiting for.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: What what's it gonna take to get your started? Have
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: your ducks ever all lined up in a row? The
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: answer is no. The perfect time to start is now.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Let me ask you this question. Does it appear to
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: be getting any closer even though you're not moving towards Oh?
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: Does it appear to be getting any closer even though
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: you're not moving towards it? That answer is no, it's
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: not getting closer because you're not walking towards anything. If
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you don't walk towards something, please stop expecting it to
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: get closer. It will not happen. Success is not a
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: magic trick. It's a series of steps that people take
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: over and over and over and over, and in spite
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: of what happens, they take those steps. Anyway, does it
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: appear to be getting closer even though you're not moving
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: towards it? It's probably not but could that be why
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: you're not getting what you want because you ain't moving
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: towards nothing. Last question, Could it be that you just
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: don't want anything more? Maybe that's it. Maybe you don't
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: quit wanting a new car. Maybe you don't quit wanting
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: a bigger house. Maybe you don't quit wanting that second home.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Maybe you quit wanting to open up a business. Is
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: it that you just don't want anymore? Just answer him
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: these questions. Now, let me tell all of y'allself. Put
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: God in your life and it can change all of this.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: You can go to God and ask God to strengthen you.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: You can go to God right now and ask God
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: to give you the desires of your heart, but enable
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you with the character to make him come true. Ask
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: God to strengthen your character, Ask him to strengthen your will,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Ask him to strengthen your stick tuitiveness. Ask God for
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: his help, because God is going to make your dream
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: come true. Business. Those are my closing remarks today, Drop
