- 0:50Speaker 1: join me. You gotta turning. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you got to turn them out to
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your baby, huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on now dig me or one it
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Thank God for
- 2:13Speaker 1: it all the time. Too. Well, here we go today.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I want to share something with you that I'll help
- 2:20Speaker 1: you because it's helped me. You know. I was telling
- 2:26Speaker 1: the story once that this magazine called Rob Reporting, that
- 2:31Speaker 1: that was the statue I used to see for years.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I started buying Rob Reporting magazines years ago. So I
- 2:40Speaker 1: just wanted to see what a fluent people did, you know,
- 2:43Speaker 1: just wanted to see what people with means did, what
- 2:47Speaker 1: type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: what they traveled to. Rob Reports just like oh, it's
- 2:53Speaker 1: like a big boy toy magazine. You can see what
- 2:57Speaker 1: cars is out here. I didn't have money for none
- 2:59Speaker 1: of it. Just I was dreaming, though, you know, I
- 3:01Speaker 1: just wanted to see. And there's a statue inside this
- 3:07Speaker 1: magazine of this man who was coming out of this
- 3:11Speaker 1: bronze rock. And he was completely bronze, and he was muscular,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and you know, he didn't look nothing like me, but
- 3:19Speaker 1: he was a man coming up out of a rock.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And he had a huge hammer and a chisel in
- 3:24Speaker 1: his hand. And as his body from the waist up
- 3:28Speaker 1: was coming out of this huge piece of stone, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: could see where it was him who had been chiseling
- 3:33Speaker 1: and forming himself. So the name of the statue was
- 3:36Speaker 1: self made man. And for years man I said, Man,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a big house one day, and I'm
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna put that statue in the backyard in the corner.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That's gonna be my little spot where I go chill,
- 3:49Speaker 1: because I'm a self made man. Well, after years of
- 3:53Speaker 1: working at becoming somebody and having reached a degree of success,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I would have nothing to do with that statue. There's
- 4:07Speaker 1: nothing about that statue that appeals to me anymore, because
- 4:11Speaker 1: on my journey and in my quest to become what
- 4:14Speaker 1: I thought would be this self made man. Why I
- 4:18Speaker 1: could put this statue and had a statue in the
- 4:21Speaker 1: corner be kind of cold symbolizing it I had made it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
- 4:28Speaker 1: a self made man. That we all need help, and
- 4:32Speaker 1: that God places people in our paths along the way
- 4:37Speaker 1: that benefit us oftentimes, and it's the most unlikely person oftentimes,
- 4:42Speaker 1: and the most unlikely way that He presents these people
- 4:46Speaker 1: in front of you is crazy. How he does it, man.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:52Speaker 1: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And that's cool, but not not for me, because I
- 5:00Speaker 1: needed help. And I've learned a lot of things like
- 5:03Speaker 1: this along the way. And the part I wanted to
- 5:07Speaker 1: share with you all about this is you've got to develop.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You've got to develop a sense of purpose. You have
- 5:15Speaker 1: to develop a sense of purpose. That's different. See, your
- 5:20Speaker 1: purpose is created for you by God because when He
- 5:28Speaker 1: created you as an individual from whatever two parents you
- 5:32Speaker 1: may have, that's not important here. When he created you,
- 5:37Speaker 1: he had something in mind for you, and it was
- 5:41Speaker 1: a purpose. God has not created a single soul to
- 5:43Speaker 1: become a criminal. God has never created a single soul
- 5:48Speaker 1: to be a drug dealer. This came about through some
- 5:51Speaker 1: decisions we made as sinners, and we stayed in that place.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But see when He created a us, He has a
- 6:01Speaker 1: wonderful idea for us. But God gives us human beings
- 6:05Speaker 1: this thing called choice, and we have the power to decide.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So you can decide if you're going to adhere to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the purpose that God created you and made you for,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or you can go ahead and make some choices on
- 6:17Speaker 1: your own. So like, if God wanted to give you
- 6:20Speaker 1: a life and give it to come to you and
- 6:22Speaker 1: give you life more abundantly, and that's his promise if
- 6:25Speaker 1: you come to him, if you choose him, then cool.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But if you say, well this ain't moving along fast enough,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna get my own life of abundance, I'm gonna
- 6:34Speaker 1: start slinging. Well, guess what now, Tad. You've made a decision.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And see God's decisions and choices the one thing I
- 6:44Speaker 1: learned about him, God's decisions, choices, his voice, it has
- 6:47Speaker 1: no sin in it. Ain't it amazing how many people
- 6:50Speaker 1: it came up to you and say, the Lord wanted
- 6:52Speaker 1: me to do this to you, and I'm doing it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That God is punishing you, and I'm doing this to
- 6:56Speaker 1: you because God gonna see that you get your day.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Who who is this person? Who is this person that
- 7:03Speaker 1: God all of a sudden gave this authority and power
- 7:06Speaker 1: to God. I didn't get at to nobody, man, nobody,
- 7:10Speaker 1: This person don't had a right to hold you to
- 7:12Speaker 1: your past, the right to make you pay. So who
- 7:16Speaker 1: makes them pay when they make mistakes? Because they all
- 7:19Speaker 1: make them. So when I say you have to have
- 7:22Speaker 1: a sense of you have to develop a strong sense
- 7:25Speaker 1: of purpose, that means you have to strongly get in
- 7:27Speaker 1: touch with your creator to find out what the purpose
- 7:30Speaker 1: you were created for. See, it's two things that I
- 7:34Speaker 1: had to learn along the way. My career was what
- 7:37Speaker 1: I was paid for. My calling is what I was
- 7:42Speaker 1: made for. See, it's two different things, folks. It took
- 7:46Speaker 1: me a long time to learn it. Some people think
- 7:50Speaker 1: that they calling is to be a performer. Well, that's
- 7:53Speaker 1: what you paid for, and a big part of your
- 7:56Speaker 1: life is your performance is tied directly to your gift.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But what you made for though, what you made for
- 8:03Speaker 1: is to bring about some significant change in another human
- 8:07Speaker 1: being's lives. Because we are all linked together in this chain.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That's what you are here for. Everybody has a purpose
- 8:15Speaker 1: to do something wonderful, meaningful, or impactful for another person.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You think the guy that invented the airplane was merely
- 8:24Speaker 1: inventing the airplane so he could fly. No, his purpose
- 8:30Speaker 1: was to become an inventor, to come up with this
- 8:32Speaker 1: invention so he could fly and we all fly. See.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Sometimes God will make you successful so you can become successful,
- 8:40Speaker 1: so you can turn around and teach other people how
- 8:42Speaker 1: to become successful. God save people so you can turn
- 8:46Speaker 1: around it tell other people how wonderful it is to
- 8:48Speaker 1: be saved. You see how this thing work. That's what
- 8:52Speaker 1: we have to do as people. And it's nothing that
- 8:55Speaker 1: we have to go and discover. We have to go
- 8:57Speaker 1: and develop it. But if you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's simply because here's it. If you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:05Speaker 1: it's simply because you have not contacted the creator and
- 9:11Speaker 1: maker of your soul to ask and find out why
- 9:17Speaker 1: you were created. It's as simple as that. If you
- 9:23Speaker 1: buy a Toyota, there's an owner's manual on the inside
- 9:29Speaker 1: that will tell you everything you know how to best
- 9:32Speaker 1: operate your Toyota, how to make it work? How we
- 9:36Speaker 1: to do? They got a troubleshooting section. Your faith is
- 9:40Speaker 1: the same thing as an owner's manual in your car.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Open up that bulk man, find out how to jumpstart
- 9:48Speaker 1: your life, how to troubleshoot it and get on with
- 9:51Speaker 1: your life, and find out your purpose and develop a
- 9:54Speaker 1: strong sense of purpose. All right, okay, you're listening to
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Right now? Is right now? Because if
- 10:05Speaker 1: it wasn't right now, I wouldn't be able to say
- 10:08Speaker 1: it's right now. This here show is owned right now.
- 10:12Speaker 1: That's a fact. And since his own, let's get it
- 10:16Speaker 1: on because we already at home. Boy, that is heavy,
- 10:22Speaker 1: asked Gene Calhoun philosophy. One of the greatest philosophers in
- 10:27Speaker 1: the hood. His name was Eugene Calhoun. He was Manny,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Sonny and Jerry's father, and he would impart on us
- 10:36Speaker 1: as we were growing up, bits of wisdom that was
- 10:40Speaker 1: so obvious. Is no way he could be wrong? Example,
- 10:45Speaker 1: right now is right now, because if it wouldn't, how
- 10:48Speaker 1: could I say it's not. They're going out there and
- 10:52Speaker 1: play that Steve, Ladies and gentlemen, Shirley Strawberry caller for
- 10:58Speaker 1: real Mississippi Monica Junior, also known as kid Spade and
- 11:02Speaker 1: the legend of nephew Tummy Junior. What is it today's Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: let me ask you this. You know I've done some
- 11:11Speaker 1: things for women. You know I've taken to the limit
- 11:14Speaker 1: to get a girl back. You know, have you done
- 11:16Speaker 1: anything outrageous to get a girl back? Like I got
- 11:20Speaker 1: caught on the main gate at her apartments and a
- 11:23Speaker 1: car came out. So I'm just swinging on the gate
- 11:25Speaker 1: after car came out. For love, I'm trying to get
- 11:28Speaker 1: back in there. Yeah, have you been that far in
- 11:32Speaker 1: the words or the temptations? I know you won't leave me,
- 11:39Speaker 1: but I refuse to let you go. If I have
- 11:44Speaker 1: to beg and plead for your sympathy, I don't mind
- 11:49Speaker 1: because you mean that much to me. In't too proud
- 11:52Speaker 1: to bear you die all it? Please don't leave me, girl,
- 11:59Speaker 1: Don't you go. There is no limit Junior, to the
- 12:04Speaker 1: things you will do. I have thrown rocks head windows
- 12:10Speaker 1: too hard and broke the window. I've done that. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: didn't have my rock through and I guess she didn't
- 12:16Speaker 1: hit the pebbles, so I picked up a bigger rocket
- 12:19Speaker 1: that cracked her damn window. Her Daddy came out fine shots.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I had to leave my bike only kickstand because I
- 12:29Speaker 1: didn't have time to mount up and ride off. I
- 12:32Speaker 1: just felt like the whole process of trying to get
- 12:35Speaker 1: that kickstanding up with her might have cost me my life.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I've ye, Dad, I've circled a girl's house pre payphone.
- 12:45Speaker 1: I've circled a girl's house one hundred and ninety two
- 12:50Speaker 1: times in one day. Gross for me. A boulevard off
- 12:56Speaker 1: of Lee Road looking for I've done that junior off
- 13:01Speaker 1: and had to go get gas. I was circling so much. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I've ridden a bike twenty six miles to see a
- 13:13Speaker 1: girl and show home. Whoa wait a minute, Free cell
- 13:20Speaker 1: phone days, free car days. Yeah, you done it. That's
- 13:28Speaker 1: too far. It's nothing too far from love. Thomas Miles.
- 13:34Speaker 1: All right, we'll leave on that note. Coming up at
- 13:38Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, we're gonna start the
- 13:40Speaker 1: show off with the nephew and run that prank back.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show, time to start
- 13:48Speaker 1: your morning off with run that prank back from the nephew.
- 13:51Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now, surely we're gonna pop
- 13:53Speaker 1: up and do a little some something, you know what
- 13:55Speaker 1: I'm saying. You know they got pop ups. You know,
- 13:57Speaker 1: they got pop up events all the time, Like you know,
- 13:59Speaker 1: you pop up with your cameras. You know that's a
- 14:01Speaker 1: pop up. This right here is pop up pedocule, pop up,
- 14:06Speaker 1: pop up, pedoicule, pop to pop to pop out. Let's
- 14:09Speaker 1: go and catch ob Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach Dana. Please, yeah,
- 14:15Speaker 1: this is what's up, h Dana. UM, I am calling.
- 14:20Speaker 1: We're trying to get a um uh schedule an appointment
- 14:23Speaker 1: with you. Your husband has purchased you a pedicure uh
- 14:28Speaker 1: pedicure spot. So we wanted to get see what date,
- 14:32Speaker 1: if Saturday would work for you. Um, my husband wanted
- 14:36Speaker 1: to pedicure for me. I'm I'm I'm actually good right now.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna wait and till i'm ready, but thank you
- 14:45Speaker 1: very much. But no, this is a this is a
- 14:49Speaker 1: this is a pop up pedicure. And what we do
- 14:51Speaker 1: is we actually cool. Yeah. We come to your house,
- 14:55Speaker 1: we have gloves and we have mask on, and you
- 14:58Speaker 1: you stick your foot out the door and we're going
- 15:01Speaker 1: to disinfect everything your foot. You're talking about putting my
- 15:07Speaker 1: foot out the door. Yeah, so just for safety, you
- 15:11Speaker 1: stick it. I'm sorry. My name is Milton with Precious
- 15:16Speaker 1: pop Up Pedicure. We do pedicure as we go around,
- 15:18Speaker 1: but we know a lot of people can't get out.
- 15:20Speaker 1: So you know, we're small business. We're just trying to
- 15:22Speaker 1: stay afloat right now. So that's but your husband called
- 15:25Speaker 1: in about you know, he called us. He wanted to
- 15:27Speaker 1: get an appointment for you. And but we come to
- 15:30Speaker 1: your house and when you stick your leg out, we'll
- 15:31Speaker 1: do the pedicure and then you stick the other leg
- 15:33Speaker 1: out and we'll do that one Melton, honey, tweetheart. And
- 15:36Speaker 1: I know you've seen a lot of feet and you've
- 15:38Speaker 1: done a lot of toes and hands. And then me
- 15:40Speaker 1: tell you something. The I'm gonna put my feet out
- 15:43Speaker 1: the window. First of all, well, whichever it's convenient, the
- 15:48Speaker 1: window of the door, I don't care what it is.
- 15:51Speaker 1: If I'm going to get my feet done, I'm gonna
- 15:54Speaker 1: have my dump my feet done in a chair inside
- 15:57Speaker 1: and I will be I'd be out of my head
- 16:00Speaker 1: if I put my feet out the window. People don't
- 16:02Speaker 1: see my feet out the window. That is crazy. And
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm coming correct as as a businesswoman woman to man, Milton,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I suggest you just you tell her that back in
- 16:14Speaker 1: maybe you can do some some buy me and advanced
- 16:16Speaker 1: pettitures like that from my feet? Are you tragile beautiful
- 16:20Speaker 1: to be putting out there? Well, well there there's lives
- 16:23Speaker 1: the problem, man, And if you don't mind your your husband,
- 16:27Speaker 1: Kelvin is the one that called, and he's the one
- 16:29Speaker 1: that says that your feet look a mess. So that's
- 16:31Speaker 1: why we're calling. He's the one that booked the appointment
- 16:34Speaker 1: for you. You know what, My feet are beautiful. And again, Milton,
- 16:39Speaker 1: you know they are they beautiful? Now? Since you've been
- 16:42Speaker 1: in I'm sorry, use me? Are you Are you the
- 16:44Speaker 1: person who should be telling me that? That's how my
- 16:47Speaker 1: husband who I will have a conversation with after this conversation.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So I guess my question is, man, you're seeing your
- 16:53Speaker 1: feet are beautiful, But are they beautiful now since they
- 16:56Speaker 1: you've been locked up for a month or so? I mean,
- 16:58Speaker 1: evidently ever done? Your feet are scaring your husband because
- 17:02Speaker 1: he's the one calling saying, oh my god, I gotta
- 17:04Speaker 1: get my wife's feet done. My feet are gorgeous, tweetheart, Okay,
- 17:08Speaker 1: they're beautiful. The supple the beautiful that's got a beautiful
- 17:11Speaker 1: tone of caramel to them. They shine at the sunshine.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Whether they're policed or not. My husband will love them
- 17:17Speaker 1: whether they're painted clips. Well, I don't think your husband
- 17:20Speaker 1: loves them because he called us obviously, Milton, you're not thinking,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and I think you need to check with your wife, Wendy.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Do you know that there's no reason you should ever
- 17:30Speaker 1: have this conversation with a grown woman about her feet?
- 17:33Speaker 1: Is what her husband says. I don't know you, and
- 17:35Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as polite as possible. You will
- 17:38Speaker 1: not be stepping into my window, are you crazy? I'm
- 17:42Speaker 1: not gonna come in your window. You just stick your
- 17:44Speaker 1: foot out of the window of the door, whichever one
- 17:46Speaker 1: is convenient for you. Okay, it's not that hard. It's
- 17:49Speaker 1: gonna fifteen twenty minutes and we're done. Oh no, no, no, no,
- 17:53Speaker 1: you are not getting business fifteen or twenty minutes. Do
- 17:55Speaker 1: you know how much time it takes to get a
- 17:57Speaker 1: pedicure done? You know this is well, this is a
- 18:01Speaker 1: pop up. It's a pure pop down. You're gonna be
- 18:08Speaker 1: driving through with spree wos at this point. I'm not
- 18:10Speaker 1: taking that. No, no, no, no no, and I'm having
- 18:13Speaker 1: a conversation with my husband to never call you again.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And I do suggest that you have a conversation with Wendy,
- 18:19Speaker 1: who I don't know, but I think she would agree
- 18:21Speaker 1: with me. Twenty ten minutes is not long enough. My
- 18:24Speaker 1: feet are beautiful, and don't ever call me again and
- 18:27Speaker 1: tell me that you think, for some reason that because
- 18:29Speaker 1: my husband told you that they were bad feet or
- 18:32Speaker 1: I needed to get a pedicure, that you have the
- 18:34Speaker 1: right to tell me that you don't know me. And
- 18:37Speaker 1: if you do ever come by my house, I swear
- 18:39Speaker 1: to God I will stick my foot up yours and
- 18:44Speaker 1: don't ever ever trying to bring that up to me again.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Don't call my house. Well, this is what kept this
- 18:51Speaker 1: is what Calvin told us, ma'am okay, Levin told me
- 18:54Speaker 1: what you are not supposed to tell a woman that,
- 18:58Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm done, I'm okay. But you do
- 19:02Speaker 1: you want do you want to know what else Kelvin?
- 19:04Speaker 1: Do you want to know what else Kelvin told us
- 19:05Speaker 1: to do? Do you want to know what else Kelvin
- 19:07Speaker 1: told us to do? No? I don't, okay, okay, but
- 19:10Speaker 1: can I just can I just please tell you what
- 19:12Speaker 1: else Kelvin told us seconds then I'm hanging up. Okay,
- 19:17Speaker 1: this is a moment of true. Kelvin gave us a call.
- 19:19Speaker 1: He gave me a call me nephew Tommy from the
- 19:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey More on the show. He told me the
- 19:24Speaker 1: prank phone call his wife. I'm serious? Are you serious? Yo?
- 19:34Speaker 1: You know what sweetheart? You're you are so on car
- 19:38Speaker 1: right now because if this had actually been the fruit,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I would have been throwing my husband out the door.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Excuse my frankiness. First of all, how are how are
- 19:48Speaker 1: you doing? I mean not gonna have you on the phone.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Can we have at heart? Because I love you. We
- 19:55Speaker 1: can have a heart to heart. How you doing? How
- 19:58Speaker 1: are you doing? How you doing doing this this whole pandemic?
- 20:02Speaker 1: How you doing? I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm you know,
- 20:05Speaker 1: my feet are looking good. But I've been listening to
- 20:08Speaker 1: you on the daily and thank you your voice. There
- 20:12Speaker 1: we go. I appreciate I've been staying up to beat
- 20:14Speaker 1: and everything. You've been putting a smile on my face
- 20:16Speaker 1: every day. Um, I feel like there's a new life
- 20:20Speaker 1: here now. You know, things are great. I love me
- 20:23Speaker 1: from Calvin. Let me tell you that I love you too.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I appreciate. Hey, come on, let the nephew know what's
- 20:27Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 20:30Speaker 1: the land. There's nothing better than the Seed Harvard Morning Show,
- 20:34Speaker 1: the Banks Radio showing the man. Hey see Tuesday morning,
- 20:42Speaker 1: I did what I did. I an't got to say
- 20:44Speaker 1: about to pop up and get these toes done, feet
- 20:51Speaker 1: looking raggedy. We gotta get to them, all right, nephew,
- 20:55Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up next to this as the CLO.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show coming up at
- 21:05Speaker 1: the top of the hour, and entertainment news, Morgan Freeman
- 21:09Speaker 1: is banned from Russia. Oh Morgan. Plus, we'll talk about
- 21:13Speaker 1: Rick Ross's car show. And in other entertainment news, Keenan
- 21:18Speaker 1: Thompson said he did not get Samuel L. Jackson banned
- 21:22Speaker 1: from Saturday Night Live. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:25Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour, but right now
- 21:27Speaker 1: it is time for ask the CLO. Chief Love Officer
- 21:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building, just ready for your love questions.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Here we go. This one's from Cree and Flint. Cree writes,
- 21:39Speaker 1: my Anna and I are the best of friends. Because
- 21:42Speaker 1: she's only three years older. I'm throwing a party from
- 21:45Speaker 1: my mother, but my aunt is not good at keeping secrets,
- 21:48Speaker 1: so I didn't tell her anything about it recently. The
- 21:52Speaker 1: party is Saturday, and she's in her feelings and she's
- 21:55Speaker 1: not coming. How can she miss her sister's birthday? She
- 21:59Speaker 1: didn't tell her anything about it until recently. Okay, well,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I don't really particularly
- 22:06Speaker 1: care for this question. So you really don't have a problem.
- 22:10Speaker 1: You're throwing the birthday for your mom her sister because
- 22:15Speaker 1: you all are close in the age of friends, and
- 22:19Speaker 1: you know she can't tell nothing, so you didn't tell her.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You told her it's sad to Helen's Monday. Yeah, see
- 22:26Speaker 1: your ass at the party. You know how old are y'all?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Well they're just three years apart. However old they are, right,
- 22:35Speaker 1: but you know what you and your feelings about this, yere,
- 22:39Speaker 1: you didn't understand it. It's so what the party said
- 22:41Speaker 1: to see you at the party. Next question, Sherley, this
- 22:45Speaker 1: is not easy. Not a chief love officer. The question
- 22:48Speaker 1: this is I don't give a damn question. All right,
- 22:51Speaker 1: We're moving on to Tammy and Montgomery. Tammy says, my
- 22:56Speaker 1: husband and I drive for a ride share company for
- 22:58Speaker 1: extra money. He won't let me drive to at night
- 23:03Speaker 1: since crime is so bad. But the fact that he's
- 23:05Speaker 1: out until three and four am has me worried. He
- 23:08Speaker 1: blocked me on the system so I can't track him.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Is he doing more than picking up and dropping off
- 23:14Speaker 1: passengers at night? Now? I don't know why he blocked you.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I have no idea. I do admire him for not
- 23:20Speaker 1: wanting his wife out late at night do to crime.
- 23:23Speaker 1: But if he's out driving but he blocking you, I
- 23:27Speaker 1: don't know what's really happening. Hill Or has got to
- 23:30Speaker 1: be a way sist y'all right, where for the same
- 23:33Speaker 1: company to be able to find out what his route
- 23:36Speaker 1: is or what his checks he is. I mean, you
- 23:38Speaker 1: got to have some extra money, you know. Now, unless
- 23:41Speaker 1: he jiggalow and that night, you ought to be able
- 23:43Speaker 1: to track that because unless you are Montgomery, ain't that
- 23:47Speaker 1: you can figure out what had? Yeah? You know, So
- 23:51Speaker 1: that's all I can tell you. I think. I don't
- 23:53Speaker 1: think he's up to nothing, But the blocking you was
- 23:56Speaker 1: going to create suspicion. Yeah, I don't know why he
- 23:59Speaker 1: did that. But you know some of these rides, you know,
- 24:02Speaker 1: you got to drop people off. Sometimes you have to
- 24:04Speaker 1: sit down and talk and you know, make sure they
- 24:07Speaker 1: get in safe. I don't put them in the bed,
- 24:13Speaker 1: you know, that's you know, you never know they oh,
- 24:15Speaker 1: you know, welcome in the building and all this. You know,
- 24:21Speaker 1: he gonna need all these things that me and Tommy
- 24:24Speaker 1: saying suggestion. Yeah, these are just a suggestions for him.
- 24:30Speaker 1: And if you hear it won't be as far fitched
- 24:33Speaker 1: as you was thinking. Go ahead, chilling, all right, Debbie
- 24:37Speaker 1: and Bronzeville says, I recently bought a town home and
- 24:41Speaker 1: I hate my neighbors. They are a young couple and
- 24:44Speaker 1: they have sex all of the time. I can hear
- 24:47Speaker 1: her screams and his yells, and it's awful. It's ruining
- 24:51Speaker 1: my sleep. There's no way to drown them out. Will
- 24:55Speaker 1: it be offensive if I go over and ask them
- 24:58Speaker 1: to stop all that dark? No, yes, it will be
- 25:02Speaker 1: offensive because it's not you hating your neighbors. Is you
- 25:06Speaker 1: hating the fact is she has a life that you
- 25:09Speaker 1: don't have. That's what you're actually hating. And as long
- 25:14Speaker 1: as he's not over there and they're not committing acts
- 25:17Speaker 1: of domestic violence, I don't think it's your business to
- 25:20Speaker 1: stop acts of pleasure. It just don't make no sense
- 25:26Speaker 1: for you to go over there as a nosy old
- 25:29Speaker 1: ass neighbor involve it in people, because obviously something is
- 25:35Speaker 1: going on. Now you can take advantage of these sessions
- 25:37Speaker 1: right here and have some activities, you know, with yourself
- 25:42Speaker 1: right here, you know, take advantage of it. Try to
- 25:46Speaker 1: work with it. It ain't that bad record it. Do
- 25:49Speaker 1: something recorded. No, it's not your business. It's not your
- 26:00Speaker 1: Ben Walls in that town house, all right. Last one,
- 26:05Speaker 1: Kristen and Slidell says, I'm a thirty two year old
- 26:08Speaker 1: engaged woman and I had a fling with my fiance's
- 26:12Speaker 1: brother in college. It happened twice, and my husband knows
- 26:17Speaker 1: we went out, but we never told him we had sex.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Now that I'm engaged, his brother insists on telling my
- 26:24Speaker 1: fiance we had sex. What good will it do? Shouldn't
- 26:27Speaker 1: we leave it in the past. Wow, well we should
- 26:33Speaker 1: leave it in the past to see. Let me tell
- 26:36Speaker 1: you what the deal is. The brother wants his brother
- 26:41Speaker 1: to know exactly what he's getting. That's his mindset. Just
- 26:47Speaker 1: so you know, man, I slept with him. Now you
- 26:49Speaker 1: show you still Warner because it's a little bit of
- 26:52Speaker 1: hate going on in there. It is, and young dudes
- 26:55Speaker 1: have a little competitiveness in him. You know, brothers had that.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Sibling rivalry is real and a lot of people. So
- 27:03Speaker 1: for him to want to take this moment of pure
- 27:07Speaker 1: ecstasy from his brother has something to do with the upbringing.
- 27:12Speaker 1: That's really why he wants to go in there and
- 27:14Speaker 1: share all with him. They know y'all went out a
- 27:17Speaker 1: couple of times, but they do not know y'all had sex.
- 27:20Speaker 1: It's best to leave it that. Exposing it does nothing
- 27:23Speaker 1: for anybody except the brother. Would you want to know? No, no,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to know. I wouldn't No, No, I
- 27:31Speaker 1: wouldn't want to know. And he know he wouldn't want
- 27:34Speaker 1: to know. That's the part of it, and everybody had
- 27:38Speaker 1: to pass. It's interesting that she happened to be with
- 27:41Speaker 1: two brothers though. That happens. That happens, I mean, stuff happens. Yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 1: that's a real that's real. I've had all. He can
- 27:59Speaker 1: have sex. You can have accidental sex, you can have
- 28:03Speaker 1: because sensual sex, you can have you know it just
- 28:08Speaker 1: happened sex. You can have sex. You can have old
- 28:16Speaker 1: Bible way six you can have just called sex. You
- 28:23Speaker 1: can have you know, well what nothing else to do. Sex,
- 28:28Speaker 1: you can have you know, I'll be damn six. You know,
- 28:32Speaker 1: you can have a plethora of things that can go down.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You know. Yeah, you can have you know, drunken sex.
- 28:42Speaker 1: You know, you can have regretful sex. You can't have it,
- 28:46Speaker 1: but that's very rare with dudes female because because we'll
- 28:52Speaker 1: keep having regretful sex. Yeah, can't ask questions, right because
- 28:58Speaker 1: you know, regret comes afterwards. As long as we can,
- 29:04Speaker 1: all monitors will be fine. Yeah, okay, you can have
- 29:10Speaker 1: ready sick go six. Thank you, Cello. Coming up at
- 29:20Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news
- 29:22Speaker 1: for you right after this. You're listening to show well.

- 33:29Speaker 1: Leslie Jones during an SNL skit that Keenan was supposed
- 33:34Speaker 1: to stop him before he said the F bomb, but
- 33:37Speaker 1: Samuel said the word. However, Keenan was recently on the
- 33:41Speaker 1: Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and said, this was not
- 33:44Speaker 1: the case. Take a list and please you've been mad
- 33:46Speaker 1: at me for that, so my bad. Bro. You know,
- 33:49Speaker 1: I think he was gonna do it like that who

- 33:55Speaker 1: the qute guard. It was just an f on the
- 33:57Speaker 1: qute guard. It wasn't like the whole world. Then he

- 34:46Speaker 1: Oh dog gee, dog gee, it's all right though. You
- 34:49Speaker 1: know I got something from mister Michaels. Are you crazy
- 34:53Speaker 1: right now? Oh no, no, no, I've no, it's already done.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Oh no, my table already got prepared in the presence
- 35:02Speaker 1: of my enemies. Oh oh it's already done. I didn't

- 35:47Speaker 1: Keenan Thompson to me? Yeah, called me and Keenan coop.

- 36:07Speaker 1: gotta check into this. Coming up in twenty minutes after
- 36:10Speaker 1: the hour, we'll talk about the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show. Well, Memorial Day
- 36:19Speaker 1: Holiday weekend is the official kickoff to summer. And so, Steve,
- 36:23Speaker 1: I gotta ask you what's one of your funniest, funniest
- 36:27Speaker 1: summertime memories? And part two, what annoys you the most
- 36:31Speaker 1: about summer? Two interesting questions? Can't wait? I don't know,
- 36:35Speaker 1: I could just start. I guess what annoys me the
- 36:38Speaker 1: most about summer is it's too short? Na, Just what
- 36:45Speaker 1: annoys me most about summers of the activities it causes
- 36:49Speaker 1: some people to partake in that don't need to partake in.
- 36:53Speaker 1: And it's like some people shouldn't wear tank tops. Well,
- 36:57Speaker 1: I just think summer brings how to look in some people.
- 37:02Speaker 1: You know, I've often wondered. I tell you when I
- 37:04Speaker 1: discovered it. You remember when you go to Disney all
- 37:06Speaker 1: the time, I kept going where they didn't get these
- 37:10Speaker 1: tank tops with the armhole that it stares all the
- 37:14Speaker 1: way down to your belt, no matter how big you are.
- 37:18Speaker 1: The armhole shows your whole side of your body. I
- 37:23Speaker 1: discovered that they sell them tank tops at Walmart. I
- 37:27Speaker 1: don't care how big you are. You can get your
- 37:30Speaker 1: arm in this damn tank top. It might be tight
- 37:33Speaker 1: around the stomach, but you're gonna be able to get
- 37:36Speaker 1: in his armhole. That has always bothered me. Yell, your
- 37:43Speaker 1: nephew had on one the other day, which it ain't
- 37:47Speaker 1: time for him for that. It's it's like time. He
- 37:51Speaker 1: ain't quite there. See these sleeves. I got on, get
- 37:55Speaker 1: you some sleeves. Doc, you're not quite there. I know
- 38:00Speaker 1: your little boy. Thank you Strong and Jordan is nd
- 38:06Speaker 1: there are those of us who know better also to
- 38:11Speaker 1: watch white men in the suburbs cut their lawn with
- 38:16Speaker 1: them strapped sandals, with them socks on. That's another thing
- 38:20Speaker 1: that that summer brings out that I almost want to
- 38:24Speaker 1: stop and go take your damn socks out. I just
- 38:27Speaker 1: want to say that, but I can't. Also, at uh,
- 38:36Speaker 1: there are people on beaches unclothed that really they need
- 38:41Speaker 1: They need to be bb is what I'm saying, and
- 38:43Speaker 1: that's really beach band. Beach band. There's some people that
- 38:50Speaker 1: you know, listen to me fellas if you didn't put
- 38:54Speaker 1: on your swimming trunks and you can no longer find
- 38:58Speaker 1: the draw strain, Yes, it's time. If you were two
- 39:05Speaker 1: pieces and we can only find the top piece, we
- 39:12Speaker 1: have a problem. Oh look at the time, we have
- 39:15Speaker 1: a problem. We're never asking you about I'm just telling you.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Ask me what aggravates me about something? I was just
- 39:23Speaker 1: telling you. This is coming up in thirty four minutes
- 39:26Speaker 1: after the hour. Today is election day. Hey, we're telling nothing,
- 39:30Speaker 1: and show us your babies quiet that you're listening to
- 39:36Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. Well it is here. Today is
- 39:41Speaker 1: election day. Uh, Steve Harvey Nation, please, Uh, we gotta
- 39:46Speaker 1: let you know these things. Voter suppression is an attempt
- 39:49Speaker 1: to make it harder for us to make our voices heard.
- 39:52Speaker 1: It continues to be a real challenge today, especially for
- 39:56Speaker 1: black and brown voters and young people. Okay, but don't
- 39:59Speaker 1: let us stop. You get the facts about your voting rights,
- 40:03Speaker 1: help us fight voter suppression and ensure it your voice
- 40:06Speaker 1: is heard. Today. There are primary elections in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas,
- 40:11Speaker 1: runoff elections in Texas. Polling places will open at seven
- 40:15Speaker 1: a m. Tuesday and close at seven pm. If you're
- 40:19Speaker 1: in line when polls are supposed to close, stay in line.
- 40:23Speaker 1: You have the right to vote. If you make a
- 40:26Speaker 1: mistake on your ballot, ask for a new one if
- 40:29Speaker 1: the machines are down at your polling place, as for
- 40:32Speaker 1: a paper ballot. If your citizenship, criminal record, or any
- 40:36Speaker 1: other qualifications are questioned, immediately call the Election Protection hot Line,
- 40:42Speaker 1: where trained volunteers are available to help. Okay, there are
- 40:45Speaker 1: a lot of resources available to you. If you run
- 40:48Speaker 1: into any problems or have any questions before or on
- 40:51Speaker 1: election day, call the Election Protection hot Line. That is
- 40:55Speaker 1: one eight sixty six hour Vote, one eight sixty six
- 40:59Speaker 1: hour vote. Okay, you are our vote, one age listening
- 41:05Speaker 1: to vote. We are voting in all elections primaries, Maine, County, local, National,
- 41:20Speaker 1: We are and have become a voting machine. Yeah. Yeah.
- 41:26Speaker 1: We have proven that our vote moves the needle and
- 41:31Speaker 1: changes and affects things. And the Conservative Party knows that
- 41:35Speaker 1: and they're doing everything in their power to do it. Y'all.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Go to the polls today. Go on your lunch break,
- 41:41Speaker 1: go before you go in this morning, go after work,
- 41:44Speaker 1: but get to the polls in the states. That's listening,
- 41:49Speaker 1: that has I'm in Georgia. We got to go, wife,
- 41:53Speaker 1: getting down there. Let's go. Let's go. And don't think
- 41:57Speaker 1: your vote doesn't matter. Oh, my little vote isn't gonna matter. Yes,
- 42:00Speaker 1: it matters. All of our little votes change the presidency
- 42:04Speaker 1: last year. Yeah, and all of our little votes in
- 42:07Speaker 1: Georgia affected the Senate with warsaw, with a warnock and assaw. Yes,
- 42:14Speaker 1: i'll vote works, I'll vote, will work for Stacey Abrams
- 42:17Speaker 1: in Georgia. Your vote will work in Pennsylvania. Your work
- 42:20Speaker 1: you'll vote will work in Tennessee, it will work in Texas.
- 42:24Speaker 1: It works if you use it. Every vote counts, and
- 42:29Speaker 1: they're counting on all votes not working. Absolutely, they're counting
- 42:35Speaker 1: on the fact that you will not vote. That's what
- 42:38Speaker 1: they're counting on because they know if you vote, they're
- 42:40Speaker 1: in trouble. That's right, Steve, that's right. One eight six
- 42:43Speaker 1: sixth hour vote is the number. If you have any
- 42:46Speaker 1: problems at the polling places today, listen to me. Y'all
- 42:50Speaker 1: understanding this. If you want to get back at the system,
- 42:55Speaker 1: if you want to really fight back, remove them from
- 43:00Speaker 1: position and power. Once you take their position, they out
- 43:05Speaker 1: of power. And once you take their power in position,
- 43:08Speaker 1: their money come up short. If you really want to
- 43:11Speaker 1: get even with them, vote absolutely, and I think everybody
- 43:16Speaker 1: that can hear our voices in the state of Georgia.
- 43:19Speaker 1: It's your duty and obligation we owe Stacy Abrams. Oh yeah,
- 43:27Speaker 1: fighting for us, folks. Let me tell y'all something and
- 43:31Speaker 1: Camp their campaign. They're running against each other, the Republicans,
- 43:35Speaker 1: the Georgian two people are running for government. You know
- 43:38Speaker 1: what that campaign is. We can defeat Stacy Abrams. Yeah, Kemp.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Kemp defeated her before he could do it again. That's
- 43:49Speaker 1: and he's running against the other white candidate. They don't
- 43:53Speaker 1: canating about that. How is that your mandate because they
- 43:59Speaker 1: want to get the primary. They want to get Camp
- 44:02Speaker 1: wants to get that nomination from that party for the Republicans,
- 44:06Speaker 1: So in November he can go up against Stacy Abrams
- 44:10Speaker 1: and tried to beat her, but we got something for
- 44:12Speaker 1: him or Ram in the bush. Uh huh huh. We're ready.
- 44:20Speaker 1: We're ready in Georgia. Yeah, every vote counts, Every vote counts,
- 44:27Speaker 1: all right. Coming up next, it is a nephew with today.

- 54:27Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 54:30Speaker 1: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now,
- 54:33Speaker 1: and you never know, it could be yours, Junior. Why
- 54:36Speaker 1: don't you do the honors today? Will Shirley. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 54:39Speaker 1: it is time for the Strawberry Letter with my good
- 54:42Speaker 1: friend Shirley straw Thank you, junior. Subject why is he
- 54:47Speaker 1: so small? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty seven year
- 54:51Speaker 1: old divorced woman and I met a man online that
- 54:54Speaker 1: I really got a good feeling about. We talked on
- 54:57Speaker 1: the phone for a week and then we started doing
- 54:59Speaker 1: video so we could see each other. I'm very shy,
- 55:03Speaker 1: so this was an ideal way for me to meet
- 55:06Speaker 1: someone to get to know them. My ex husband was
- 55:09Speaker 1: emotionally abusive and he cheated on me twice. I never
- 55:13Speaker 1: wanted to get a divorce, but he gave me no option.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I struggled with going on blind dates because I have
- 55:19Speaker 1: very specific qualities I'm looking for in a man. I
- 55:23Speaker 1: put all of that on my profile. So when I
- 55:26Speaker 1: met this guy that I'm dating now, I assumed he
- 55:28Speaker 1: fit the criteria. Whenever we video chat, he was sitting
- 55:32Speaker 1: straight up or lounging on his sofa. He had nice
- 55:36Speaker 1: arms and upper body, and he's a gym rat, always
- 55:39Speaker 1: talking about his workouts. I told him that I wasn't
- 55:42Speaker 1: in the best shape yet, but I was working on
- 55:45Speaker 1: my body too. I was apprehensive to meet him because
- 55:49Speaker 1: he was so muscular. He begged and begged, and I
- 55:53Speaker 1: finally agreed to meet him at a farmer's market so
- 55:56Speaker 1: we could get some fresh food and cooked together. At
- 55:58Speaker 1: my house, I pulled up, I saw him from a distance,
- 56:02Speaker 1: and I started to drive away. I'm all of five
- 56:06Speaker 1: five five five inches tall, and so is he well,
- 56:11Speaker 1: he maybe five seven and stocky looking. I got out
- 56:17Speaker 1: in a sun dress and heels, and I was eye
- 56:19Speaker 1: to eye with him when I hugged him. Our first
- 56:22Speaker 1: date was wonderful and he's a good cook. But I
- 56:25Speaker 1: couldn't help but notice his wide shoulders, knife back, and
- 56:28Speaker 1: small waist and legs. It was a turn off. And
- 56:31Speaker 1: I'm trying not to be so judgmental, but why is
- 56:35Speaker 1: he so small? I know big things come in small packages,
- 56:39Speaker 1: so I pray he has a big surprise for me
- 56:41Speaker 1: in the bed. That may be the deciding factor. Am
- 56:46Speaker 1: I being too picky and petty? Are you being too
- 56:50Speaker 1: picky or petty? I'll say no, because you have every
- 56:54Speaker 1: right to want what you want. If you like bigger guys,
- 56:58Speaker 1: if you like taller guys, it's nothing wrong with that.
- 57:01Speaker 1: But now there's another part to all of this, and
- 57:05Speaker 1: that is no one is perfect. I mean not even you.
- 57:08Speaker 1: You mentioned it. You have some work to do too,
- 57:10Speaker 1: and you need to get to the gym. You mentioned that.
- 57:14Speaker 1: And if he's a good man in every other area
- 57:16Speaker 1: and he treats you like a queen, which of course
- 57:18Speaker 1: only time will tell. You only said he was a
- 57:20Speaker 1: good cook so far, but you know you should take
- 57:24Speaker 1: that into consideration. I mean, give him points for that. Sometimes,
- 57:28Speaker 1: you know, we get fixated on the wrong things. We
- 57:31Speaker 1: get fixated on physical things instead of the inner goodness
- 57:34Speaker 1: and beauty of a person, the good hearted heartedness of
- 57:38Speaker 1: a person, etc. I think you did get catfished with
- 57:42Speaker 1: his height though, because you didn't know how short he
- 57:44Speaker 1: was until you actually met him and not before. So
- 57:48Speaker 1: you got to ask yourself, can you get past his
- 57:50Speaker 1: shortcoming so to speak? Or can you not get past them?
- 57:54Speaker 1: You say, if you sleep with him, that could make
- 57:56Speaker 1: you help make your decision. So right back and let
- 58:00Speaker 1: us know how he sizes up, because apparently you're getting
- 58:03Speaker 1: ready to do that, or you're going to do that,
- 58:05Speaker 1: you have plans to do that, so let us know how.
- 58:08Speaker 1: You know everything turns out all right, write us back, Steve,
- 58:13Speaker 1: I'm a little surprised at this letter, but they're not
- 58:16Speaker 1: surprise at all. And we'll go through it. Whis he
- 58:19Speaker 1: so smart? Welco, let's talk about it. You're thirty seven
- 58:23Speaker 1: year old divorced woman. You met a man online and
- 58:27Speaker 1: you had a good feeling about him. Okay, that's women's intuition.
- 58:32Speaker 1: It works. He talked for a week, then you start
- 58:35Speaker 1: doing video calls. A very shy. So this is an
- 58:39Speaker 1: ideal way for me to meet somebody. Also a smart
- 58:41Speaker 1: way to date too. Before you go out with these people,
- 58:44Speaker 1: get on a video call, ladies. That's the smart way
- 58:47Speaker 1: to date. That's the smart So far, so good. Max
- 58:51Speaker 1: husband was amostly abusively cheated on me twice. I didn't
- 58:54Speaker 1: want to get a divorce where he gave me no option.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I struggle with going on blind days because I have
- 58:58Speaker 1: a very speci fit qualities of what I'm looking for
- 59:02Speaker 1: in a man. Well, what you should say is you
- 59:05Speaker 1: have very physical requirements that you're looking for in a man.
- 59:11Speaker 1: That's what you have. I struggle with going on blind day.
- 59:14Speaker 1: You got very specific qualities I'm looking for a man.
- 59:17Speaker 1: I put all that on my profile. So when I
- 59:21Speaker 1: met this guy that I'm dating now, I assume to
- 59:23Speaker 1: here fit the criteria. Excuse me, excuse me. You said
- 59:28Speaker 1: you put that on your profile. Okay, it's home now
- 59:32Speaker 1: he read it. He fit everything else. Problem and based
- 59:38Speaker 1: on the conversations, it's true you told him how tall
- 59:41Speaker 1: you wanted a man. But who gets everything? Lord? I
- 59:44Speaker 1: wish Tommy was here, you know, so we could get
- 59:49Speaker 1: some you know, some real feedback. So we can let
- 59:52Speaker 1: you talk to a man that has had run into
- 59:54Speaker 1: this situation before. I have never run into this situation,
- 59:58Speaker 1: so I can't speak for firsthand, but I'm sure in
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: time it were here on this Strawberry letter, he could
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: tell you how a man feel about stuff like dan,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: give you some insight. And so we'll get into that
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: one day where yeah, so we'll get into it, and
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: then whenever we video chat. He was sitting straight up
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: a lounging on his sofa. My man, my man, He
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: knew not to be standing up behind that couch so
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you could just see behind that couch, you know what
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: would be visible, you know, And he got his elbows
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: rested on the back of that couch. You the knew
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: right there. All right, Hold that thought, Steve, Hold that thought.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: why is he so Small? We'll get back into it
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: is why is he so small? Well, this lady Dementia's
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: man only line she's divorced with an abusive relationship. She
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: met a really nice man, they chatted, They finally video
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: called each other, which I complimented on a very very
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: smart way. Before you meet these guys, everything was going good.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: And she said she didn't go on blind dates because
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: she struggled with them, because she has specific quality. She
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: was looking for the man, and she said she put
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: all that on her profile. Well she did. She put
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: it on her profile and this date read it. So
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: when she met this guy and I'm dating now, I
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: assumed he fit the criteria. Well, you know that was
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: on your profile. He read, he read it. We all
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: do that. That's how we did. We mean, we heard
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: what you said. We want to hear what we are.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Hear what we are. Let me see if you like
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: this here and so whenever we video chat, he was
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: sitting straight up or lounging on his sofa. You know,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: he has nice arms and an upper body, and he's
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: a gym rat. Okay, brot take care of himself, always
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: talking about his workouts. I told him I wasn't in
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the base best shade yet, but I was working on
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: my body too. Let's park right here now, you're to
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: put all this in your profile out. Let's just say
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: tall dog and Hans. Let's just say a man that's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in shape to take care of itself. And now here
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you are admitted me. You have to divorce. You've been
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: just eat after divorce. You're hugging just over the eat.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Now you're on the foe. Warn him. I told him
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I wasn't in the best shape yet, but I was
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: working on my body too well, you know what. And
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: he accepted that. I was apprehensive to meet him because
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: he was so muscular. Yeah, boy in the gym and
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you ain't okay. He begged and begged, and I finally
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: agreed to meet him at a farmer's market. So we
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: get some fresh food and cooked together at my house.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: When I pulled up, I saw him from a distance
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and I started to drive away. I'm all a five
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: five talk and so is he. Well, he may be
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: by seven and stocky looking. I got out in the
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: sun dressing heels and I was out of eye with
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: him when when I hugged him. Our first date was wonderful.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: He's a good cook, but I couldn't help but notice
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: his wide shoulders, nice back, and small waisting legs. He
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: you don't know he's been working out. He could have
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: been in prison too. That's prison body. They don't have
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: leg machines in the joint. Time we got you ain't
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: got time to work on your legs that dudey damn
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: pull ups man. And they don't do leg machines in prison.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: They don't have that. You ain't got long. You got
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: out there, your turn, you got lifted his weight anyway.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: But now I ain't saying he went to prison. But
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: that's a prison boy. That's what they call. I couldn't
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: help but notice all lesson and now it was a
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: turn off. And I'm trying not to be so judgmental,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: but why is he so small? I know big things
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: come in small packages, but I prayed he is a
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: big size. Surprised for me in the bed. Maybe that'll
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: be to decide in fact, I being too picky and petty.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: You ain't being picky and petty enough nothing. You know,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you find a sleep with it, you know you know
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: where are you going? Lady? You already didn't decide that
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you finds asleep with it because you want some of
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: that some of that muscle back up on that doing
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: his job. You want to see how many presses he
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: can do with you. That's what you won't, ain't it.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: You want to see if he can pick you up,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: even though you ain't in shape yet, and if he
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: can where we act, you're hoping he got a big
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: surprise for you down there. You've already decided you're sleeping
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: with this man. So where the hell did the line
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: come from? Am I being too picky and petty? And
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: let me remind you, sister, I ain't saying you got
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the lower your standards, but let me tell you something.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Y'all can't get what you don't give. Ladies, your list
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: is important, but make sure that you are the list. Okay,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you can't walk. A man that's in great shape, got
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: hisself together, got great credit, and you ain't got yourself together.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You ain't in shape and ain't in a position to
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: help him get his credit together. Remember the ladies, y'all
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: got to quit ask him for what you don't have
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: to offer. Now. I don't mind you have an extensive listen,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: but make sure you are the list. See, you can't
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: come to me, won't this and you don't have it?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: You can't get what you never had. I'm sorry that
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: ain't my fault. That ought to be a Bible verse.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I think something in there like that, somewhere where the
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Bible verse for that ship. Find me a scripture, because
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I just came up with arm be hit. That's all
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: I had. But you know, lady, look you at something here.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: You're thirty seven years old. You want a man that
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: to treat you right, that's kind to you. Everybody ain't
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: gonna be everything. I'm not everything Marjorie wanted. I'm sure
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: ain't missing nothing. But you know, I don't know what
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: else she wanted. You know, but I've noticed as the years,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I've come up short and a couple of categories. I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: thought I'll just fine. I thought I was doing Jeff fine.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You know, I don't communicate good enough. You talk for
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: a living, but you don't talk to me like that. Well,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you know what you want? You want to do jokes
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: at the house. Do you want these jokes at the house?
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: You want me to tell you what the survey say
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: what you want? So I'm not really mad at this guy.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: I don't think he lied, and I think that you've
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: already decided you're gonna sleep with him, So now go ahead. Yeah,

- 1:08:43Speaker 1: just dominated. Miami never led last night, not one time.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Then you got Al Horford, who is one hundred and
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: two on the NBA court blocking shots. It's just one
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: of these things, man, I like, look at this. If
