Lemonade Stand Robbery in Sioux City | Sioux City News
A 40-year-old man on a scooter pulled up to a kid’s lemonade stand in Sioux City, Iowa, brandishing a pocket knife and demanding cash or lemonade. The kid refused, and the suspect left empty-handed. After the kid told their parent, police used surveillance footage and eyewitness descriptions to identify and arrest Kelly Coop, also 40, charging him with first-degree robbery. Coop claimed he heard about the incident but denied involvement. His preliminary hearing is set for August 28 at 9 AM — a bizarre case that’s already making waves.
