- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody y'all listening to the boss,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show, keep saying it can't stop. Man,
- 2:14Speaker 1: oh man, oh man, what a journey it has been.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I thank God for every single step of the way.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I learned to thank him for the bad times too,
- 2:22Speaker 1: because it taught me something. All the bad times, all
- 2:26Speaker 1: the failures, they became valuable experiences in my life. Every
- 2:30Speaker 1: time I failed, I learned a little bit more about
- 2:32Speaker 1: getting up. Every time I was told no, it moved
- 2:35Speaker 1: me one step closer to yes. It made me strong,
- 2:38Speaker 1: it tough in my skin. It made me learn how
- 2:41Speaker 1: to deal with haters. It made me learn how to
- 2:44Speaker 1: deal with people who don't have your best interests at heart. Man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: ain't y'all all out there feeling me on this one
- 2:50Speaker 1: right here. It teaches you who is who in your life.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It shows you who you can depend on and who
- 2:57Speaker 1: you can't. And at the end of the day, what
- 2:59Speaker 1: has taught me most of all my hardships in my life?
- 3:02Speaker 1: And it's really about me and God. That is the
- 3:06Speaker 1: one factor that has been never changed in my life.
- 3:10Speaker 1: God has always been the same for me and for
- 3:14Speaker 1: you and for all of us. His word is true.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It don't waiver, it don't shake. You can shape it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Readjust it if you want to. It is really the
- 3:23Speaker 1: way it's written. It really is. You have your version
- 3:27Speaker 1: of it if you want to. But if you just
- 3:29Speaker 1: read it the way it is, it's real clear. Ain't
- 3:32Speaker 1: no loopholes in it. Every time you jump through a loophole,
- 3:35Speaker 1: that's something over that written that that counters that. So
- 3:39Speaker 1: it's what I want to get to today. Listen to me.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You got it within you, Oh it's there, Just use it.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Listen to me close. You got it within you. Oh
- 3:52Speaker 1: it's there, Just use it. If you hear me clearly,
- 3:56Speaker 1: I'm really fit to show you something this morning. You
- 4:00Speaker 1: got it within you, Oh it is there. Just use it.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Steve what you're talking about. See, here's what's wrong with
- 4:07Speaker 1: a lot of people. Here's who's stopping so many people.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You keep looking. We keep looking for others to save us.
- 4:19Speaker 1: We keep looking for someone else to rescue us. We
- 4:23Speaker 1: always looking for some group of people or somebody to
- 4:26Speaker 1: accept us. We keep looking for someone else's approval. We
- 4:33Speaker 1: always looking for some group or somebody to deliver us, somebody,
- 4:38Speaker 1: some group of people to give us credibility, somebody or
- 4:44Speaker 1: some group of people who says we matter. We spend
- 4:48Speaker 1: so much time right there, and when the cavalry don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: come over the hill, when there ain't no saving and
- 4:54Speaker 1: ain't no deliverance, and then you don't get accepted, and
- 4:58Speaker 1: then don't nobody really came to save you? And the
- 5:01Speaker 1: don't nobody vouching for you and giving you credibility and
- 5:04Speaker 1: throw you into something? Now you into this little state
- 5:07Speaker 1: of man. I don't know what I'm gonna do. Oh
- 5:10Speaker 1: you got it within you? Oh is there? Just use it?
- 5:14Speaker 1: You want to know what the real deal is, y'all?
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's you and God, and it's the God in you. Man.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I wish I could explain this right to you today.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I want you to feel me on this right here,
- 5:29Speaker 1: and when you shake everything out the way, get rid
- 5:32Speaker 1: of all your expectations of people. The relationship you thought
- 5:35Speaker 1: was gonna last forever that didn't make it, the child
- 5:38Speaker 1: that you wanted to be, this that turned out to
- 5:40Speaker 1: be that, your friend you thought was your friend, that
- 5:43Speaker 1: stabbed you in the back. You found out they wasn't
- 5:46Speaker 1: the job you thought was gonna keep you and you'd
- 5:48Speaker 1: retire on they didn't close down, gave you a pink slip.
- 5:51Speaker 1: All of this. Man, that death promised that somebody told
- 5:54Speaker 1: you they was gonna loan you this money, and on
- 5:56Speaker 1: loan day they say they ain't got it. Oh man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: oh man, man, this money you thought was gonna come
- 6:02Speaker 1: through on this check. The check ain't there? Oh man?
- 6:05Speaker 1: How many disappointments in life can you get? You thought
- 6:08Speaker 1: you had enough credit. I was to graduate. You found
- 6:11Speaker 1: out two weeks before you didn't. You can't grat all this,
- 6:14Speaker 1: hit man, what's gonna happen? Man, look at the disappointment
- 6:17Speaker 1: in my life right now? But let me explain something
- 6:20Speaker 1: to you. When you get rid of all of that,
- 6:24Speaker 1: guess what you really got? You got God, that's the
- 6:27Speaker 1: whole anchilada. Baby, that's the ball of wax. That's the
- 6:30Speaker 1: monkeys in the barrel, that's the bag of chips. Listen
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. If you got God, do you understand that
- 6:36Speaker 1: that's sufficient, That that's all you need. Can you feel me? Now?
- 6:41Speaker 1: You and God and the God in you, it's really
- 6:46Speaker 1: what you need. Stop looking for all these outside sources
- 6:50Speaker 1: for approval, to gain acceptance, to get credibility, somebody to
- 6:54Speaker 1: save you, the cavalry coming over the hill. Why won't
- 6:57Speaker 1: they recognize me? Why won't they give me closure? Why
- 7:01Speaker 1: they fire me? Why they foe closing on my house?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Don't they know I'm laid off. When you get through
- 7:06Speaker 1: it all, it at whining, it's gonna come down to
- 7:10Speaker 1: you and God and the God in you. If God
- 7:14Speaker 1: created man in his own image, God is a part
- 7:19Speaker 1: of you, that is a piece of you that's godly.
- 7:22Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. I don't care what
- 7:24Speaker 1: mistake you made. The murderer that's sitting in jail today
- 7:29Speaker 1: because of a moment in his life that he's now
- 7:32Speaker 1: paying for, has God in him. The biggest criminal. When
- 7:37Speaker 1: he gets through criminalizing or whatever you want to call it,
- 7:40Speaker 1: he's sitting there by his self that is a peace
- 7:43Speaker 1: of God in him that lets him know this ain't
- 7:47Speaker 1: the way. This wrong. You can love his money if
- 7:49Speaker 1: you want to put you out of line, and you're
- 7:51Speaker 1: gonna pay at the end of the day. When I
- 7:54Speaker 1: get through on this microphone, on this TV, all these articles,
- 7:58Speaker 1: when I get through with all of that, you know
- 7:59Speaker 1: what it come down to. Because see, it ain't always
- 8:02Speaker 1: been this way for me. You know, I've been trying
- 8:04Speaker 1: to get here, trying to get that. Listen to me,
- 8:06Speaker 1: it's been me and God, and it's been the God
- 8:10Speaker 1: in me. When I woke up a few years back
- 8:13Speaker 1: and I realized that's really what it was, it changed
- 8:16Speaker 1: my whole life. It changed my whole life. Your whole
- 8:20Speaker 1: life can get changed when you realize that it's really
- 8:23Speaker 1: you and God and the God in you. Really man.
- 8:27Speaker 1: People disappoint you, You argue with people, You fall out
- 8:30Speaker 1: with people, You break up with people, You divorce people.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You got people who you thought was friends, all of
- 8:35Speaker 1: a sudden you find out they're talking about it's crazy
- 8:37Speaker 1: out here. You've been going, what's going on? What's really
- 8:40Speaker 1: going on? But that's because guess what you got all
- 8:44Speaker 1: yours banked on them. When you're gonna banking on the
- 8:47Speaker 1: one thing that you can count on. God's word ain't
- 8:50Speaker 1: change since we got him. It's solid. If you pray, believe,
- 8:55Speaker 1: work hard, don't doubt you'll get whatever you ask for.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That's a fact. There ain't no rumor speople out here
- 9:00Speaker 1: doing it every day. Now, if you ain't trying that,
- 9:03Speaker 1: listen to me. You got it within you. Oh it
- 9:06Speaker 1: is there. You just got to use it. There is
- 9:08Speaker 1: a weapon available to man called prayer. Use that. See.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I look at my life, man, whenever I get a
- 9:14Speaker 1: little shaky, I look back. Oh hey, man, I ain't
- 9:17Speaker 1: really talk with him too much yesterday. Oh tighten up.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I'm just telling you real. You got a better answer.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Oh oh, oh, I know what. Oh oh my bad, Steve. Now, Steve,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I ain't winning cause they ain't get me the loan
- 9:31Speaker 1: or naw, Steve, I ain't winning because she left me.
- 9:33Speaker 1: He left me. I ain't winning, Steve, because I got
- 9:35Speaker 1: steck with these kids. I got a divorce. They fired me.
- 9:39Speaker 1: How they forecloses on my home. That's why I ain't winning.
- 9:41Speaker 1: You ain't winning because you ain't praying. You got the praying,
- 9:44Speaker 1: believe in work. That's the key. Come on, man, you
- 9:49Speaker 1: got it within you. Oh it's there. You just got
- 9:52Speaker 1: to use it. It's just you and God, and it's
- 9:54Speaker 1: the God in you. And what y'all gonna do about that?
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, it is time once
- 10:05Speaker 1: again to Steve Harvey Morning Show us. Hell Man, I'm grateful,
- 10:09Speaker 1: Thank you God for another day, another opportunity. I'm telling y'all,
- 10:13Speaker 1: if you start your day with gratitude, it will have
- 10:16Speaker 1: an effect on your attitude, which is in direct correlation
- 10:21Speaker 1: to your altitude. Get your two together, and what better
- 10:25Speaker 1: way to get it together than the starting with gratitude.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm grateful this morning, man for all the things. A
- 10:31Speaker 1: matter of fact, you know what I've learned this year,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I've learned to be grateful for the difficult times. I
- 10:37Speaker 1: knew it, but I've really learned it this year to
- 10:39Speaker 1: be grateful through the difficult time. Because he's working on
- 10:44Speaker 1: stuff on your behalf. You have no idea, So why

- 15:28Speaker 1: you you turned the chair with your with your private part.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Oh come on, says I mean, I'm a professional man,
- 15:35Speaker 1: I've been doing this fifteen years, right right. I don't
- 15:37Speaker 1: think it's anything deliberate, man, I think you just do
- 15:41Speaker 1: it unconsciously. Man. Could you know you be leaning over
- 15:43Speaker 1: on the chair cutting, and I think you don't realize,
- 15:46Speaker 1: you know, you be turning the chair with your private
- 15:49Speaker 1: part instead of doing it with your hand. Man, And see,
- 15:52Speaker 1: my hand got caught out there, and I saw it
- 15:55Speaker 1: out the corner of my eyes. I saw your private
- 15:56Speaker 1: part coming towards my hand. I moved it just in time.
- 16:00Speaker 1: You understand, but not see, Dennis, I'm not understanding something.
- 16:04Speaker 1: But because I don't, I don't. We don't operate like that, mind,
- 16:07Speaker 1: because you know I don't make mistakes like that. But
- 16:10Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I don't know you. You're sure
- 16:12Speaker 1: you're talking to the right person, man, Yeah, I mean,
- 16:14Speaker 1: ain't you the third chair on the right when you
- 16:16Speaker 1: walk in the door. Yeah that's correct. Okay, that what
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Man, And you cut me two weeks ago,
- 16:21Speaker 1: and like I said, I really like my hair cut,
- 16:23Speaker 1: so I wanted to call back and rectify this problem.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But you know, you gotta turn the chair with your
- 16:28Speaker 1: hand and not your pride part. If not, we're gonna
- 16:30Speaker 1: have a problem. Okay, brow, I feel it, and I
- 16:33Speaker 1: understand your complaint and everything. I mean, I'm not understanding
- 16:38Speaker 1: what you're saying, but I don't do that, you know.

- 16:42Speaker 1: I'm thinking, you another cut or whatever you understanding, you know,

- 16:49Speaker 1: That's just not being okay. I understand what you're saying,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but I want you to hear what I'm saying. If
- 16:55Speaker 1: you put your private on there at all when I
- 16:58Speaker 1: come in there Thursday, then I promise you're gonna jump
- 17:02Speaker 1: up and we're gonna have a problem. Whoa, whoa what
- 17:04Speaker 1: let's see now now now right there? And I'm not
- 17:07Speaker 1: I'm not feeling that jump up having a problem because
- 17:09Speaker 1: you know, you don't really know me like that. Bro,
- 17:11Speaker 1: You know what I mean. I'm trying to be a
- 17:13Speaker 1: professional here and and solve your little issue that you
- 17:16Speaker 1: got your understanding. But all this jumping up and stuff
- 17:19Speaker 1: you're talking about doing, I don't know. I'm trying to
- 17:22Speaker 1: come in and get a nice hair cut and walk
- 17:24Speaker 1: out with a nice hair cut. What I don't want
- 17:27Speaker 1: to do. It's come down, Neil, you're lean old. Put
- 17:29Speaker 1: your private part. Well, I got my arms in my
- 17:31Speaker 1: hands and I got to help you. Now, that's what
- 17:33Speaker 1: I don't from them. You're starting. You're touching the wrong,
- 17:37Speaker 1: talking about what you're talking about. I'm touching you wrong.
- 17:40Speaker 1: You touch me wrong two weeks ago when you put
- 17:42Speaker 1: your private on my hand. Man, I don't know how
- 17:45Speaker 1: to touch it feeling say what I don't know? You know,
- 17:52Speaker 1: dog all I'm trying to say. You're the brother trying
- 17:54Speaker 1: to come in and get his hair cut and walk
- 17:56Speaker 1: out feeling like a man, and now walk out feeling
- 17:59Speaker 1: vibe it man, because you didn't turn the chair with
- 18:02Speaker 1: your private part all up against my head and my
- 18:04Speaker 1: elbow and stuff. Man, you know what I'm saying that
- 18:08Speaker 1: I'm you know, I trying to talk to you. But
- 18:12Speaker 1: unless you don't running me wrong, I ain't no punk
- 18:14Speaker 1: flying here, and you understanding, But they ain't no punk
- 18:17Speaker 1: flying that didn't keep it off my hand. Let me

- 18:25Speaker 1: You understanding, and look quicker. Oh here's a farmer shop.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Hear me. I hear what you're saying. But let me
- 18:37Speaker 1: explain something. You quit you using your hips and your

- 40:34Speaker 1: the outside of the show, Tremaine. This caller, Steve needs
- 40:39Speaker 1: some relationship advice. I'm engaged to a seventy year old
- 40:43Speaker 1: woman sept two and we have a great relationship spiritually, emotionally,
- 40:50Speaker 1: and I love her very much. She loves me. She's
- 40:53Speaker 1: got a friend that's interfering, and I don't know how
- 40:56Speaker 1: to approach her when I meet her or at least
- 41:00Speaker 1: sometime in December. Just needs some advice. Well, sir, I
- 41:05Speaker 1: ain't never been seventy two, but uh, some things never change.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I think you're gonna have to slide up on the
- 41:12Speaker 1: friend and that did he say they was gonna meet
- 41:14Speaker 1: in December yet? But she's been interferend. Just set a
- 41:20Speaker 1: girl that you care out about it and just say, hey, listen,
- 41:24Speaker 1: I love you, I care about you. I'm in this
- 41:27Speaker 1: with you and with you only. I appreciate your friends concerned,
- 41:32Speaker 1: But I don't think your friend really has any idea
- 41:35Speaker 1: what the hell she talking about? Because she by her
- 41:37Speaker 1: lonely ass self and oh, her husband's just dead, So
- 41:42Speaker 1: why are we're listening to her old ass anyway? Her
- 41:46Speaker 1: old and lonely ass And I heard that three of
- 41:49Speaker 1: the husbands ain't really dead, no way, they just disappeared
- 41:52Speaker 1: on her as, So why are we wearing about it? Huh?
- 41:56Speaker 1: So you know, man, just well, I won't love you.
- 42:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay with you. I want us to form
- 42:02Speaker 1: a two handed circle and we don't want anybody else
- 42:05Speaker 1: in it. And she may be well meaning, but she
- 42:07Speaker 1: don't mean well. And I'd like to just you know,
- 42:10Speaker 1: let you know that I'm here for you. I'll do
- 42:12Speaker 1: anything for you. But she is messing it up for us.
- 42:16Speaker 1: And I'm asking you to ignore her because look at
- 42:20Speaker 1: her lonely ass. That's why she got time. Because she
- 42:24Speaker 1: ain't got nobody and don't nobody walk huh because she
- 42:29Speaker 1: messing ain't you seventy two dogs y'all to just gone

- 43:02Speaker 1: to say we don't like your new suit collection at all.
- 43:09Speaker 1: We don't like the shirt and tie is the same color,
- 43:13Speaker 1: and we don't like all the pastels and the velvet
- 43:17Speaker 1: and satin looking suits. Don't like the yellow shart russes,
- 43:22Speaker 1: light blues and a coppery orange ysh color. But anyway,
- 43:29Speaker 1: shirt and tie the same color just doesn't cut it.
- 43:33Speaker 1: We like your older collection better. Thank you, nice well,
- 43:38Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you for calling in everything.
- 43:41Speaker 1: And not to be disrespectful, but I didn't expect your
- 43:45Speaker 1: old ass to buy it in no way. The reason
- 43:48Speaker 1: that I made the shirts and ties the same is
- 43:51Speaker 1: because if you look, o't do taken on a more
- 43:53Speaker 1: mono monochromatic matic. And that's what a lot of the
- 43:57Speaker 1: guys were asking for, So that's what I made. I

- 54:02Speaker 1: strawberry letter. All right, nephew, thank you. Subject. My husband
- 54:07Speaker 1: has her spare key. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married
- 54:11Speaker 1: to a caring and loving man for almost fourteen years.
- 54:16Speaker 1: We have a great life with good friends, and we
- 54:18Speaker 1: travel a lot. He has two children that live with
- 54:20Speaker 1: their mother, and I have two dogs. When we travel,
- 54:24Speaker 1: my good friend keeps my dogs. She's a divorced single mother,
- 54:28Speaker 1: so we often include her in our outings because I
- 54:31Speaker 1: told her she isn't going to meet any good men
- 54:34Speaker 1: sitting in the house. My husband treats her like a
- 54:37Speaker 1: stepchild and teases her about being the third wheel. We
- 54:41Speaker 1: also have close friends that live down the street from us,
- 54:44Speaker 1: and my husband is close to the husband. But the
- 54:47Speaker 1: wife gets on my nerves because she loves to stir
- 54:49Speaker 1: up mess. My husband wants me to stop hanging with her,
- 54:53Speaker 1: and now I know why. It's because she brought something
- 54:57Speaker 1: to my attention that I would have a were looked.
- 55:00Speaker 1: The other day, my friend dropped her house keys in
- 55:03Speaker 1: a storm drain by mistake. She called my husband for
- 55:07Speaker 1: her spare keys, and my husband was down the street
- 55:10Speaker 1: at our friend's house. The wife called me and asked
- 55:13Speaker 1: why my husband has keys to my girlfriend's house. I
- 55:16Speaker 1: didn't know that we had keys to her house, but
- 55:20Speaker 1: it wasn't a big deal because we're both worried about
- 55:22Speaker 1: her living alone. I assumed she gave us a set
- 55:26Speaker 1: of keys after her divorce, and I forgot. I'm not
- 55:30Speaker 1: totally crazy, though, so I asked my husband if the
- 55:33Speaker 1: keys have always been hanging in the laundry room with
- 55:37Speaker 1: our other spare keys. He says yes, but he did
- 55:42Speaker 1: not come home first to get any keys. Before he
- 55:44Speaker 1: went to unlock the door, he must have had the
- 55:47Speaker 1: keys on him. Why didn't she call me to bring
- 55:50Speaker 1: her the spare keys? Should I question my husband and
- 55:53Speaker 1: my girlfriend? Or is this a coincidence? Please help me understand. Well,
- 56:00Speaker 1: we're gonna try, that's for sure. Here's the deal. I
- 56:05Speaker 1: think this sounds kind of crazy. I just do. Why
- 56:08Speaker 1: does he have her keys? Why does he because surely
- 56:12Speaker 1: he's not stupid enough to cheat right down the right
- 56:15Speaker 1: down the street on the same block. He can't be
- 56:17Speaker 1: that stupid. What happened with the whole You know, she's
- 56:20Speaker 1: a step child thing and all of that. And why
- 56:23Speaker 1: is she calling your husband? Why is she doing that? Period?
- 56:27Speaker 1: There are rules to this, and she should have called you.
- 56:30Speaker 1: You're absolutely right, she should have called you for that.
- 56:33Speaker 1: But I guess they didn't want you to know that
- 56:36Speaker 1: he had the keys in the first place. And that's
- 56:38Speaker 1: why this is so suspect to me, because she didn't
- 56:40Speaker 1: do the right thing. She should have called you. And
- 56:43Speaker 1: I don't know why he's carrying these keys around with him.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Why does he have to have keys to her house?
- 56:49Speaker 1: That is the question. Why did he lie to you
- 56:51Speaker 1: and say yes, the keys were hanging in the laundry
- 56:53Speaker 1: room with the other spare keys. The obvious answer is
- 56:58Speaker 1: so he can get in her house at any time time, right,
- 57:00Speaker 1: So it sounds like he could have been over there
- 57:02Speaker 1: before because the keys have been on the hook at
- 57:05Speaker 1: your house, like he said, Uh, you said, you guys
- 57:08Speaker 1: had several spare keys on that hook in the laundry room.
- 57:11Speaker 1: So this is what I suggest you find out what's
- 57:13Speaker 1: going on with those other spare keys while you're at it.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Something is going on with these keys, and you know
- 57:20Speaker 1: you know what you feel, you know your instincts, Steve,
- 57:26Speaker 1: Oh the way, I'm gonna handle this right here, because see,
- 57:41Speaker 1: h bro what yeah, men, men, men, men and men.
- 57:50Speaker 1: First of all, I don't understand and that I don't
- 57:52Speaker 1: understand the friendships they got. Now you're married to a
- 57:56Speaker 1: loving man for fourteen years. Y'all got a great life
- 57:59Speaker 1: with good friends, and you travel a lot. He got
- 58:03Speaker 1: two children that live with their mama, and I got
- 58:05Speaker 1: two dogs. Ain't none of this has got nothing damn
- 58:08Speaker 1: thing to do with this letter. When we travel, my
- 58:12Speaker 1: good friend keeps my dogs. She's a divorced single mother,
- 58:18Speaker 1: so we often include her in our outings. That means
- 58:21Speaker 1: she has some kids. Y'all. Kids live with the ex
- 58:26Speaker 1: wife or the husband. So I guess y'all taking on
- 58:30Speaker 1: our because you feel sorry for my guests, because I
- 58:33Speaker 1: told her she isn't going to meet any good men
- 58:36Speaker 1: sitting in the house. My husband treats her like a stepchild,
- 58:40Speaker 1: teases her about being the third whill. We also have
- 58:43Speaker 1: close friends that live down the street from us. My
- 58:47Speaker 1: husband is close to the husband, but The wife gets
- 58:49Speaker 1: on my nerves because she loves to stare up mess. Now.
- 58:53Speaker 1: This is a lot of walking down the street going
- 58:55Speaker 1: on here at this house. To me, I ain't been
- 58:59Speaker 1: in this world in a long time. And I apologize
- 59:02Speaker 1: if I sound blushy, but I ain't had no friends
- 59:05Speaker 1: house I walk down to down the street in a
- 59:07Speaker 1: long ass time. I don't live in that type of neighborhood,
- 59:10Speaker 1: but it can happen. I don't have a problem with that.
- 59:12Speaker 1: And you should have some cool relationship with some people
- 59:15Speaker 1: in your neighborhood. So I don't really have a problem
- 59:18Speaker 1: with that. It's just they got their best friend, the
- 59:21Speaker 1: lady divorced, the key all is here taking on trips.
- 59:25Speaker 1: You got the damn dogs. My husband is close to
- 59:28Speaker 1: the husband. The wife get on your ner because my
- 59:30Speaker 1: husband wants me to stop hanging with her now. And
- 59:32Speaker 1: I know why because she bought something to my attention
- 59:36Speaker 1: that I would have overlooked. The other day, my friend
- 59:39Speaker 1: dropped her house keys in a storm drain by mistake.
- 59:43Speaker 1: What must have been walking down the street to somebody's house.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Keith fell out of her hand down the storm drain.
- 59:57Speaker 1: She called my husband for her spare key, and my
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: husband was down the street at our friend's house. Everybody
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: right down the street. Yeah, we come back our straightness
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: all out. Wife called me and asked me why my
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: husband got keys my girlfriend's house. You're calling him before all? Right,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: here we go, Steve. We'll have heard two of your
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters, subject my husband has her spare keys.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: The subject my husband has her spare key. The name
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: of this letter should be everybody stayed down the street
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: because that's all they do, because they do. Yeah, this
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: lady has got a single friend down the street. That's
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: the force. And they included in the outs because you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: told her she ain't gonna be no good men sitting
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: in the house. Okay, your husband treats her like a stepchild,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: teaches her about being a third wheel. Now she down
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: the street, right, But they also got some close friends
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: that live down the street from us, and your husband
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: is close to the husband and the wife getting on
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: my nerves because she stared up mess my husband now
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: wants me to stop hanging with her, and now I
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: know why. Well, I thought you didn't like her though
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I thought you didn't like it. She gets on your
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: nerves because she stares up mess Then you say right
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: after that, my husband wants me to stop hanging with her,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: And now I know why, because when she bought something
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to my attention, I would have overlooked it. Here's a
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: whole situation. The other day, my friend dropped her house
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: keys in a storm drained by mistake. Okay, y'all, I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: don't know what's the chances of that happening. She must
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: have been walking up the street again, going to see
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: one of her friends all this damn walking up the
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: street and dropped the keys in the dreamed by mistake.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: She called my husband for her spare keys, and my
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: husband was down the street at our friend's house. The
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: wife called me, this is the messy wife and asked
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: me why my husband has keys to my girlfriend's house.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I didn't know that we had keys a house, but
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it wasn't a big deal because we were both worried
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: about her living alone. Well, your husband is really concerned
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: about her being alone. I assumed she gave us a
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: set of keys after her divorce, and I forgot. See,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: women don't forget nothing, So you can stop that. You
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: know good and well that she gave y'all a set
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of keys after her divorce and I forgot. No, you didn't,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: that's how you know. So watch this. I'm not totally crazy, though,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: so I asked my husband if the keys have always
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: been hanging in the laundry room without other spare keys.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: She knew where the woman's house key was. Y'all, don't
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: don't believe this grown woman doesn't forgot that another woman
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: gave him some keys in their house. Women don't forget
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: a damn thing. He said, yes, but he did not
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: come home first to get any keys. Before he went
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: to unlock the door. He must have had the keys
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: on him. Why didn't she call me to bring her
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: to spare key? Should I question my husband and my girlfriend?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Or is this a coincidence? Please help me understand, lady.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you're confused, you're stupid. I don't
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: really know what's going on. We don't have enough information. Hire,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: because you don't have anything that says he's seeing this
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: woman you claim to have forgot. God, forgotten about her
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: giving y'all the key, but you do know it whether
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: this woman gave y'all a key. Anne, then you ask
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: him if the keys have always been hanging in the
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: laundry room with other spare keys. He said yes, he
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: not lying. He could have an extra key. He could
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: have had a key made. She could have gave him
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: another one. I don't know what happened. I don't know
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: what your husband doing down the street. But y'all need
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: to move off this damn street scene. Man, it's just
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: too much going yo yo. Block is hot. You got
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it going down right here, y'all you live at a
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: block party. That's the problem right here. It's too many
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: people know, too many people, doing too many things with
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: too many other people. I can't help you. Look, nothing
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: says your husband is seeing this woman that I can
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: think of. Now, if you want to question your husband
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: and your girlfriend, you might can find out. Because the
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: woman right there, she just said he went to the house.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: You don't know if your husband came back to the
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: house and got him from the laundry room or what.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: You don't know that you could have missed that he
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: could have had the keys on even doing some else.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: You don't know that. I don't know that. But damn,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: the little messy woman that you said you didn't like,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I don't know what what about her? What? This heller
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: always started something with her, miserable, unhappy ass. See, hurt people,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: hurt people, That's what I know for a fact. So
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I ain't really tripping on that. You know, people can
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: go and do like they want to. I don't really,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I don't. But I can't say that your husband is
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: really seeing this woman because you have no evidence of
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: that at all. They ain't key keying together nothing. He
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: teased her about being a third wheel and that's all
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it is. You don't say they'd be making eye contact,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: they had googly and none of that. Why does she
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: call him and not the wife because the husband he quicker,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: He bettered his handy, you know, h No, No, she
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: should have called the wife as you sip your coffee, well,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you know, seeing to me like you know, he just
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: moved quicker. You know. Plus you're busy with them dogs
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: and stuff. She didn't want to pull you away from
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: them dogs, right, all right? Post your comments on today

- 1:09:51Speaker 1: You're listening to show all right, Steve. This letter this
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: uh question from Kirk on Facebook. Kirk writes, my roommate
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and I have been friends since we were kids, but
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I try to keep out of his personal life. For
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: almost a year he has been seeing a married woman
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: and I haven't said a thing. But last week her
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: husband showed up at our house. At first he thought
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I was my roommate, but I managed to get him
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: to calm down and not knock me out. I said,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I said something to my roommate, but he was not
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: worried at all and was unfazed by the news. He says,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: a husband and wife have stuff to work out and
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: is not his concern. But come on, dog, as far
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: as I can tell, it's fifty percent his boss. The
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: whole thing has me thinking about moving out. Am I wrong? Uncle? Steve?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Would you how would you handle this? Well? I mean, look, man,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: you consider pitchal mad. It ain't none of your concern.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: But once you mess with a man's wife, the Bible
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: speaks about that when he finds out, there's an anger
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: level that he coming with And we ain't really got
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: nothing for I don't know what to tell you. Man,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: that's a dangerous thing. That a man that came by
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: your house. And the reason the man comes by your
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: house is not because his wife is cheat. But of
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: all the women in the world that ain't got nobody,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: you don't decided to disrespect me and come over here
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: and get mine. I know she ain't worth nothing to
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: me right now, But the fact that you think I'm
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: the little punk ass dude that you can step on,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I come to let you know who I am. See,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: that's what that is right there. He already know his
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: wife that violated the vials. He got that. But this dude, though,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Oh so you're gonna come get mine like you're gonna
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: just disregard me and my position as a man and
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: a husband. That's why I'm whipping your ass. That's what
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: that's all about. You should have said something to him,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: But your friend is he gonna set himself up? Man,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: because this man gonna do something to him if he
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: gets to him. He didn't come over there and talk,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: but du the roommate move out. I'll stay with it. Yeah, Well,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: y'all got away from hire because I'm gonna get away
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: from here because this don't go down. Yeah, he hadn't
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: been over that one time. He's still mad and you
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: don't know what could trigger this dude. This dude come
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: over and shoot the whole place up. I'm gonna I'm
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: gonna get out because if that's how your dude is acting,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: and then you bring it up to him, they got
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: some things that ain't none of my concern. Hold up, bro,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: he's messing with the man's wife, right, Bro, you don't
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: understand where this dude that he didn't invest it in
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: this marriage. He don't got credit. Probably the ball property
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: house or something. Car notes. Now you over here, okay,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: all these women over here that ain't got nobody. Yeah,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: you're gonna come over here with doing Now, I got
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you a trip and it's a fifty percent of this
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: is how fault. I got that. But I am I can't,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I can't, I can't. I can't hit her. But I'm
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: fitting for your ass. So and what's all this? All this? Unfazed?
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I'm unfazed, Junior. Hey, the man that came by your house,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what you think happened
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: in here. He'dn't been by the house. Now. Yeah, warning, okay,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: that's all I'm saying. You have been warned. Yeah, all right,

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: know who stayed there. Yeah, man, somebody came over to
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Harold and Jamie's house. Any man got a whooping? Harold, Harold,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Harold and Jamie. Yeah, yeah, amen, Jamie, just back out
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: the driveway. You never looked back. And what's the roommate's name?
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: Who wrote this? What's the roommate's name? No, that's Jamie.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Oh that is Jamie. Okay, Yeah, Jamie's gotta go. Herold

- 1:19:53Speaker 1: last break of the day, and we'll close up the
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: show right after this. You're listening morning show. Here we
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: are our last break of the day. It's been a
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: good day this Thursday. Don't forget tomorrow. Last day to
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: vote in Georgia for early voting, and then the regular
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: election is Tuesday, December six, okay, and Tuesday and Tuesday?
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: And please, how could you go? How'd you? How could
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you go in there in the poll and and just
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: stay up? Herschel How could you actually do that? How
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: did you do that? Would you bring your that? He said?
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: The other data story he was telling? Who said that
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: to me? Today? What story? Which one about the vampires? No?
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I have it right here, because here's my clothing. I'm
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: gonna read something that's a direct quote from herschel Walker.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: These are my closing remarks. My closing remarks all the
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: way up into the election have been about herschel Walker,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: because I'm just really they never, the powers that be
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: never ceased to amaze me. They are constantly coming up
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: with new ways to show how hateful and devious they
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: really are. And if you don't think they're devious, if
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: you don't think they're hateful, how could anybody who is
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: of intelligence go and find a candidate like herschel Walker
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: and put him up to represent your party, which he's
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: being accused of nothing that you claim to stand for.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: That's devious, man, That is devious at its highest level.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: The part that I hate, though, is if they find
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: this Negro to try to prop up and position himself
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: as an African American slash black. See, those are the
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: two terms I've been operating under, but I prefer the
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: term black. I operate as a black man. I'm very
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: comfortable with that term. You don't have to refer to
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: me as African American when you call me Steve, just
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: being black. How do you feel. I'm very very comfortable
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: with that because that's the one I identified with so readily,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: because you all have taken the American part and made
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: it so difficult to be a part of with your
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: antics like this, Here is quote unquote. I am reading
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: from herschel Walker's a quote that he said at a
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: rally the other day. This is herschel Walker talking. This
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: is herschel Walker actually destroyed his argument for a border wall.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: This is him destroying his argument for a border wall.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: These are his exact words. And from this moment on,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: when I'm quoting her walking or wall do work? When
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: you got a wall around your house, people don't. Yeah,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: but they can't get in. But you know what if
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: they get in, it would be hard to get out
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: because I got a dog that well, my dog really
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: won't blank. Wow, let me pull the audio. Let me
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: give it to you. I didn't know we had to
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: play the audio. Fucker and on security border, Theresa, how
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: are you gonna do that? That's the way I can
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: do it. Then you didn't put up a wall to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: wall new work wall working around your house. When you
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: gotta wall around your house, people don't do damn. They
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: can get in, but you know what they get in
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: to be hard to get out because I got a
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: dog thatt, My dog rid of won't bite when he
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: putting bad anyway. But anyway, that's what I wanna tell.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: What we gotta do right now. This is one of
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: the most important election we can ever have an our lifetime.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Did you hear him? Yeah? Yeah, did you hear him?
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense man, for the Republican Party
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: the Conservatives to put this man as a candidate. But
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: then again, if you're devious, it makes all the sense
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: in the world because we have found and selected just
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: what we needed, another black face to put up against
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the previous black face that showed success in the state
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: of Georgia. And now we want to try to divide
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: and conquer by putting an opposing black face. The problem
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: you got is the black face you put up. We
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: know him as a Negro. He is a throwback to
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: what used to be in our time. But they are
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: still there. They're just harder to find now, and especially
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: at that education level. So you have managed to find
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: something that we have so eloquently kept out of the
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: forefront of speaking anywhere around us on our behalf, and
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you found him and his name is herschel Walker. The
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: sad part is that are people who are going to
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: vote for him. The fact that we are in a
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: runoff is ridiculous within itself because as a quality person
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: he's not. As a viable candidate, he's not. As a
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: person you would want to represent the state of Georgia,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: he's not. And I don't care who you are, black, white,
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Republican or Democrat. It doesn't make any damn sense. But
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: you will find a way to deviously make sense of
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: it because it suits your purpose, and your purpose is
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: to win at all costs, and no matter how you
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: do it, well, we're here to put a stop to this.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Early voting ends tomorrow. Tomorrow is early voting after that
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: is voting. I'll be there to vote. Seriously, man, yeah,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: this this has to end. We are voting for Senator
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Raphael war Knock period. We are not herschel Walker, go
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: back to Texas where you came from and stop speaking publicly.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: You're gonna vote with your shoes on or your shoes off?
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Are you gonna do? Ladies and gentlemen, Hey, have a
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: great day. Talk to God today, y'all. He'd loved it.
