- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn the mouth turn the word
- 1:47Speaker 2: of the money.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Looking me come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 5: You think that?
- 2:01Speaker 6: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening
- 2:05Speaker 6: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 6: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay, here's
- 2:19Speaker 6: what I want to share with you. Stop complaining. So
- 2:29Speaker 6: I had to legend. You see how I let that
- 2:30Speaker 6: one sit for a second. Stop complaining? Do you realize
- 2:40Speaker 6: without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just complain
- 2:45Speaker 6: about stuff and it comes up in such subtle forms. Man,
- 2:54Speaker 6: I don't know why they're still letting that lady work there. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 6: If they don't fire this woman, man, I don't know
- 2:58Speaker 6: what I'm gonna do. She drive me crazy. She always
- 3:03Speaker 6: got something to say. I bet today though, the way
- 3:09Speaker 6: I'm feeling right now, I bet she better not say
- 3:11Speaker 6: nothing to me today.
- 3:14Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 3:15Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, because day it today it I'm sick of
- 3:19Speaker 6: her running in her mouth. Last time she said something
- 3:24Speaker 6: to me, I should have said something to it. You
- 3:26Speaker 6: know what I'm saying. I'm just giving you a small
- 3:29Speaker 6: example of how it starts to snowball. Once you start
- 3:35Speaker 6: to complains, it just carries over into so many things. Man,
- 3:40Speaker 6: Stop complaining about your car, Stop complaining about your bus pass,
- 3:44Speaker 6: Stop complaining about your kids can't seem to get it together.
- 3:48Speaker 6: Stop complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 3:52Speaker 6: Stop complaining. Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking have
- 3:59Speaker 6: you know that in all of your complaining, it has
- 4:04Speaker 6: provided not one solution. The reason I'm telling you to
- 4:09Speaker 6: stop complaining because God is able, Because God is capable.
- 4:18Speaker 6: He is capable and able of fixing anything, capable and
- 4:25Speaker 6: able of curing anything, capable and able of allowing you
- 4:32Speaker 6: to get to adjusting to things, and capable and able
- 4:39Speaker 6: to strengthen you to get through and change anything. But
- 4:46Speaker 6: the key here is God is capable, and God is able.
- 4:51Speaker 6: A lot of times I find myself complaining because I
- 4:56Speaker 6: have not used my greatest asset, and that's my relationship
- 5:01Speaker 6: with God.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You all have.
- 5:02Speaker 6: One now, you may not have nurtured it. But you
- 5:05Speaker 6: have one because God created you as his child. He's
- 5:09Speaker 6: available to you now. The fact that you ain't went
- 5:11Speaker 6: to him. Okay, once again, who fought as that? Stop
- 5:16Speaker 6: complaining until you strengthen your relationship with God and formulate
- 5:23Speaker 6: this relationship. You don't have enough weapons. You ain't got
- 5:31Speaker 6: a big enough shield to fight this thing called life.
- 5:34Speaker 6: He just keeps coming. Man, And unless you develop a
- 5:38Speaker 6: relationship with God, you need a partner in all of this.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Maybe you got another route you're gonna take. But every
- 5:46Speaker 6: successful person I know personally has a relationship with God.
- 5:56Speaker 6: I have some really really some people that's kind of
- 6:01Speaker 6: up there in the success term in terms of business
- 6:04Speaker 6: and money and statute. I'm just talking about that portion
- 6:08Speaker 6: of success. And then I have a lot of people
- 6:10Speaker 6: who are very successful in their spiritual life, who have
- 6:15Speaker 6: become great men of God and women of God. But
- 6:20Speaker 6: look at all of them, and all of them have
- 6:22Speaker 6: substantial amounts of you know, possessions and.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Things like that.
- 6:28Speaker 6: Also, most successful people I know have that even if
- 6:34Speaker 6: you saw them never with a big lot of house
- 6:37Speaker 6: and a lot of money or stuff like that, they
- 6:40Speaker 6: had so much respect, so much love, so much power
- 6:46Speaker 6: was given them from people that their life was rich
- 6:51Speaker 6: in that area, you know, like Ahma and Luther King
- 6:55Speaker 6: or something like that, or Gandhi or somebody who lived
- 6:58Speaker 6: their life in service, or Nelson Mandela who came out
- 7:02Speaker 6: and just man, people put stuff at their feet.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Because of their service.
- 7:06Speaker 6: So all successful people I know have that, Every last
- 7:09Speaker 6: one of these people that I know, they have relationship
- 7:12Speaker 6: with God. They use the tool that was available to
- 7:17Speaker 6: them to give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows,
- 7:22Speaker 6: the slings, the shield to fight this thing called life
- 7:25Speaker 6: and have the most valuable partner right there.
- 7:27Speaker 5: By the side.
- 7:28Speaker 6: They heavily Father God, because he will help you get
- 7:31Speaker 6: through this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 6: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:37Speaker 6: favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man, why can
- 7:41Speaker 6: I never get over? Well you have not because you
- 7:44Speaker 6: asked not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:47Speaker 6: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:49Speaker 6: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:52Speaker 6: your own thought process.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Who are you? I keep telling you?
- 7:55Speaker 8: Man?
- 7:56Speaker 6: You going through stuff you ain't got no business going through.
- 8:01Speaker 6: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 8:03Speaker 6: and over and over, and the same problem keep coming
- 8:06Speaker 6: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 8:10Speaker 6: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. He's your relationship.
- 8:14Speaker 6: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:16Speaker 6: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:20Speaker 6: when you invite a men. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 6: invite men, they have a distinct advantage on their road
- 8:29Speaker 6: to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it without him,
- 8:34Speaker 6: Trust me, you can. How far you get. I can't
- 8:37Speaker 6: promise you nothing, how well you handle it when you
- 8:40Speaker 6: arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how long you
- 8:44Speaker 6: gonna stay there. I can't promise you nothing. How difficult
- 8:49Speaker 6: it is going to be without him. I can't give
- 8:52Speaker 6: you that. It's going to be far more difficult.
- 8:55Speaker 5: But you can.
- 8:55Speaker 6: Something can happen, and you, you know, receive a measure
- 8:59Speaker 6: of success. And you think as you and this move
- 9:01Speaker 6: you made, and you can describe it as I got lucky.
- 9:04Speaker 6: I happened to be in the right place at the
- 9:06Speaker 6: right time. I got lucky. Lucky is usually how other
- 9:11Speaker 6: people describe other people's success. Boy, he was lucky. He
- 9:15Speaker 6: was right there. Well, let me tell you what lucky is.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Lucky is when hard work bumps up into opportunity. If
- 9:21Speaker 6: you've been working hard as something, the opportunity presents itself,
- 9:24Speaker 6: that comes a match. That's not luck. But now, if
- 9:29Speaker 6: you haven't done that on a repetitive enough basis, that
- 9:33Speaker 6: opportunity could present itself one time. You got to reconnect.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me. Stop complaining.
- 9:41Speaker 6: It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life. And
- 9:44Speaker 6: if you're a chronic complainer, it's because you really, really
- 9:47Speaker 6: have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll move it
- 9:50Speaker 6: out for you. That I can tell you for a fact.
- 9:53Speaker 6: I know that for a fact He's moved mine out.
- 9:55Speaker 6: All right, let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen. Another day, another blessing, another gift, another honor,

- 10:21Speaker 6: one of them. Man, what a great thing it is
- 10:24Speaker 6: to still be alive. Man, Thank you God Almighty. We
- 10:28Speaker 6: here on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, we show appreciate it.

- 10:43Speaker 6: They good people, they know, they know sometimes we all
- 10:48Speaker 6: don't care who we are, myself included, just have to
- 10:51Speaker 6: be reminded that if it was not for God, where
- 10:55Speaker 6: would you be.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Man. Thank you for you.

- 18:06Speaker 11: No, no, no, man, but you way out of line

- 22:53Speaker 7: Steve Harvey. This is from Gabe in Chesterfield, Colo, Gabe Wrights.
- 22:58Speaker 7: My wife made our home office her second closet and
- 23:01Speaker 7: it's too cluttered for me to work in there, so
- 23:04Speaker 7: I moved my desk to the sitting area in our bedroom.
- 23:08Speaker 7: She told me that my desk can't stay there. Should
- 23:11Speaker 7: I put her stuff out and get my office back?
- 23:15Speaker 6: Well, bro, let me ask you a question. When you
- 23:18Speaker 6: take her stuff out, what how you think that's gonna work? Now,
- 23:28Speaker 6: she didn't already decided that her clothes she needs more
- 23:31Speaker 6: closet space, So she then took your office and turned
- 23:35Speaker 6: that into a closet, which was a bit rude. Yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 6: especially without especially without conferring with you, talking to you
- 23:44Speaker 6: about it and then when you said, well, I'm gonna
- 23:46Speaker 6: move my desk in the bedroom, she said, okay, stay that. Well,
- 23:50Speaker 6: then ask her where does she propose that you take
- 23:55Speaker 6: care of the business from.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Okay, I like it, I like it.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Where do you propose that I take care of this
- 24:02Speaker 6: business from? Because you done took my office and turned
- 24:05Speaker 6: it into a closet. And you know, look, an office
- 24:08Speaker 6: should have a certain aura to it to put you
- 24:11Speaker 6: in the mind frame to work, not like you jammed
- 24:16Speaker 6: up in somebody's closet, sleeves all on the back of
- 24:18Speaker 6: your neck.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yeah, what is all of that? Yeah?
- 24:25Speaker 6: I don't know the size of y'all's house, but you
- 24:28Speaker 6: all do. All have a space problem because if you
- 24:31Speaker 6: turning offices into closets, and you turn in bedroom into offices,
- 24:36Speaker 6: you know, y'all's only solution is or you can go
- 24:38Speaker 6: in there to her and say, hey, look, we need
- 24:40Speaker 6: a bigger place, and see how that fly. Oh, but
- 24:45Speaker 6: you're gonna have to get this man a space, because
- 24:48Speaker 6: every man should have at his house, especially if it's
- 24:51Speaker 6: a homeowner or apartment. Everybody, every man should have his
- 24:56Speaker 6: version of a man cave. Yeah, a little space in
- 25:01Speaker 6: the corner, that's his computer. Kids can't use it. That's
- 25:04Speaker 6: his monitor, that's his game control center, whatever it.
- 25:09Speaker 5: Is, that's what he is.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Okay, maybe he got a little sofa in the TV
- 25:12Speaker 6: in the basement somewhere, whatever size house y'all got. Every
- 25:16Speaker 6: man should have that.
- 25:18Speaker 1: All right, All right, Well, we're gonna get your.
- 25:19Speaker 5: Bra off the front of though off this. We're gonna
- 25:22Speaker 5: get your braw off for them.
- 25:25Speaker 7: Moving on to Calendra and making Glenda writes, after sex,
- 25:30Speaker 7: my husband is all almost always gets out of bed
- 25:34Speaker 7: and sleeps on the sofa. It's a big disconnect for me,
- 25:38Speaker 7: and I've told him that I don't like it. I
- 25:40Speaker 7: even asked him if the sex is that bad. He
- 25:43Speaker 7: won't give me a reason. Why does he get out
- 25:47Speaker 7: of bed and sleep on the sofa?
- 25:50Speaker 6: Probably because he hot?
- 25:51Speaker 5: Get right hot in hell here?
- 25:57Speaker 6: You know, I keep you from cutting and he don't
- 25:59Speaker 6: want to push you all all this here. But it's
- 26:04Speaker 6: not because it's bad, that, ain't it.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, Well he won't give her a.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Well, if it's bad, they're gonna go somewhere. So that
- 26:12Speaker 6: ain't what it is. It ain't bad because he married.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Well, why won't he got all of that? Why won't
- 26:18Speaker 1: he tell you.
- 26:18Speaker 6: He just he don't want to hurt the feelings. I
- 26:20Speaker 6: don't want you own me, touching me, asking me nothing, talking.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You don't want her touching talking.
- 26:28Speaker 6: To you on the couch.
- 26:35Speaker 11: Up.
- 26:37Speaker 5: Wow, I got to recover.
- 26:41Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:42Speaker 7: Moving on to Ricky and Little Rock, Ricky writes, my
- 26:46Speaker 7: girlfriend compares me to her exes a lot. So I
- 26:50Speaker 7: decided to give her a taste of her own medicine.
- 26:52Speaker 7: And I told her that no one makes spaghetti like
- 26:55Speaker 7: my ex wife. She told me that she will remember that.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Is it cool?
- 27:00Speaker 7: Will to be playing these types of games?
- 27:06Speaker 6: She said, I'm gonna remember that. Okay, they don't forget anyway. No,
- 27:13Speaker 6: now she remember that. I don't know why she does that. Ladies,
- 27:19Speaker 6: you can't bruise a man's ego like that. You're always
- 27:23Speaker 6: comparing you to your actions and all like that. That's
- 27:27Speaker 6: what's wrong with you, lady. You're wrong. Now, my man, Now,
- 27:31Speaker 6: how you get back at her? It's not that way?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Who my ex wife can make some spaghetti. I love
- 27:40Speaker 1: her spaghetti. Can you make it like my ex wife?
- 27:43Speaker 7: Oh?
- 27:44Speaker 6: Okay, Well, you know the thing about the spaghetti. It
- 27:49Speaker 6: wasn't good enough to keep you all together. So how
- 27:51Speaker 6: good that spaghetti was? You left it?
- 27:53Speaker 1: And her was her name? Though his name is Ricky Edith?
- 28:01Speaker 7: Eat it?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you're going so.
- 28:04Speaker 6: Deep on the old.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Ricky and Edith.
- 28:10Speaker 6: Edith Edith eat it?
- 28:12Speaker 7: Eat itth Wow, she said, I'll remember that all right.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Last one, Steve, Last one Charita in Memphis. Sharita writes,
- 28:21Speaker 7: I've been married for almost fifteen years, and I stopped
- 28:25Speaker 7: having sex with my husband because he does not know
- 28:28Speaker 7: how to talk to me. He stopped asking for sex
- 28:32Speaker 7: after month two? Why has he lost interest in having sex?
- 28:36Speaker 7: Does he have someone else?
- 28:39Speaker 6: Well? He stopped asking for sex after month too, y'all
- 28:43Speaker 6: been married almost fifteen years. Fifteen years, you're just not
- 28:47Speaker 6: right near.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It hasn't been bothering you.
- 28:57Speaker 5: I don't even want to stand.
- 29:00Speaker 6: I don't even understand the concern anymore.
- 29:03Speaker 1: She's once in a whyse he lost interest in sex?
- 29:06Speaker 1: And does you.
- 29:07Speaker 6: Lost interest in sex in me? Thirteen years ago? I know,
- 29:12Speaker 6: I don't think it's time for a letter. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 6: I don't know. What's you know?
- 29:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 29:25Speaker 5: Who deaf? A long way?
- 29:27Speaker 7: So he was he was talking to her crazy, so,
- 29:30Speaker 7: she says, So she stopped having sex with him.
- 29:33Speaker 1: That was the problem, and initially.
- 29:36Speaker 6: Well talking to him crazy, talking to her in general
- 29:40Speaker 6: or why they was in the act in general?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yeah, just period, yeah, in general.
- 29:48Speaker 7: Yeah, that's why she stopped having sex in the first place,
- 29:51Speaker 7: because he does not know how to talk to her.
- 29:53Speaker 6: Oh okay, so something wrong with him. He he ain't
- 29:59Speaker 6: even wrap right. I can't help you. It's just too
- 30:03Speaker 6: much in here and as missing thirty years fifteen, Ye,
- 30:07Speaker 6: talk to you crazy. I don't know.
- 30:09Speaker 5: I can't help you.
- 30:10Speaker 1: He stopped having sex after a month.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Two.
- 30:12Speaker 6: Yes, the luck, the alo just don't know.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Thank you. Colo.
- 30:20Speaker 7: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:22Speaker 7: some entertainment news for you. Can't fix everything right after this,
- 30:28Speaker 7: you're listening.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:35Speaker 7: During a recent interview on Matt Barnes podcast That's Baseball Great,
- 30:40Speaker 7: David Justice, halle Berry's first ex husband, received backlash after saying, Tommy,
- 30:46Speaker 7: I know you're sitting up and listening to this. After
- 30:48Speaker 7: saying he divorced Halle because she didn't seem quote motherly,
- 30:53Speaker 7: and he claimed she doesn't cook and doesn't clean. That's
- 30:56Speaker 7: why he said they got a divorce and to be fair,
- 30:59Speaker 7: David also said that was how he thought back in
- 31:01Speaker 7: the day, and that therapy probably could have helped them.
- 31:05Speaker 1: He said, I was.
- 31:06Speaker 7: Young, I'd only been in one real relationship before her,
- 31:09Speaker 7: and my knowledge and my understanding and wisdom around relationships
- 31:13Speaker 7: just wasn't vast. The couple married, if you recall, back
- 31:16Speaker 7: in nineteen ninety three, and divorced in nineteen ninety seven.
- 31:19Speaker 7: Hallie went on to two more marriages and now date
- 31:22Speaker 7: singer Van Hunt. So, yeah, we remember, yeah, when they
- 31:27Speaker 7: got married and when they got divorced.
- 31:29Speaker 6: There was I remember it ever been the day it happened.
- 31:31Speaker 6: I remember that. Well, he was a baseball star, she's
- 31:34Speaker 6: a movie star. She don't cook her clean. I think
- 31:39Speaker 6: you can hire somebody for that.
- 31:41Speaker 7: Made a h yeah, And he said she didn't seem motherly. Yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 7: but he said that's how he thought back then.
- 31:50Speaker 1: You know, he had only been in one serious relationship.
- 31:54Speaker 5: He need to be motherly, right, And he.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Also said therapy would have helped.
- 32:03Speaker 5: And picking up all her clothes, everything she messed up
- 32:06Speaker 5: around the house. Every time I'm cleaning everything. Baby, I
- 32:10Speaker 5: got your two birds. I didn't clean it off. Don't
- 32:12Speaker 5: you worry about that. I got you. You do what
- 32:14Speaker 5: you need to do to be HALLI you just keep
- 32:17Speaker 5: in hogly I got you know, baby, I met.
- 32:20Speaker 6: David a few times. He don't strike me as that
- 32:23Speaker 6: type of guy. I don't know why. You know what
- 32:26Speaker 6: it is, man. Podcasts are dangerous things these days because
- 32:32Speaker 6: it takes you from the constraints of terrestrial radio, right,
- 32:38Speaker 6: because you could be free to say more on a podcast,
- 32:41Speaker 6: say anything, right. So yeah, but I think people get
- 32:45Speaker 6: on these podcasts and they forget that they also have
- 32:49Speaker 6: an existing life and a brand. And you get on
- 32:54Speaker 6: these podcasts and you like Steved man, it's too much
- 33:00Speaker 6: like Steven A. Smith was explaining the whole lebron thing
- 33:04Speaker 6: on these guys podcasts and he was just like overly
- 33:08Speaker 6: cussing to appear tougher. And you know, man, you know
- 33:15Speaker 6: when you heard it, it wasn't.
- 33:18Speaker 12: Him because he doesn't know it was very hard, yeah,
- 33:25Speaker 12: to be cool or hot or tough. And you know,
- 33:30Speaker 12: real dudes see through that stuff.
- 33:31Speaker 5: Man. We come on man.
- 33:34Speaker 6: And so but I just find that a lot of
- 33:36Speaker 6: people get on these podcasts and they overshare, not realizing
- 33:41Speaker 6: that they still have a life and a brand. I
- 33:46Speaker 6: think that that podcast gives them a sense of freedom
- 33:48Speaker 6: but they don't understand you. You have to pay for
- 33:50Speaker 6: everything you say. You have to pay for everything you say.
- 33:56Speaker 6: Just said that.
- 33:57Speaker 7: But then he also sounds like he would take it
- 34:00Speaker 7: back if he could. He would, you know, he would like, well.
- 34:03Speaker 6: I think I think maybe a little bit out of context,
- 34:06Speaker 6: you know, maybe that's how I thought back then, or yeah,
- 34:09Speaker 6: you know, I wish I had not did that, because
- 34:12Speaker 6: I was really young back then, and that really shouldn't
- 34:16Speaker 6: have been the determining fact that you don't clean or cook,
- 34:19Speaker 6: because y'all both y'all rich. I don't know what you're
- 34:22Speaker 6: in here cleaning for anyway.
- 34:25Speaker 1: But that was his mentality.
- 34:26Speaker 6: I'm not I'm not doing none of that.
- 34:32Speaker 5: Made.
- 34:32Speaker 6: I made some scrambled edge and I don't wash it load.
- 34:35Speaker 6: I don't even know you watch the loo. I looked
- 34:41Speaker 6: at the washing machines one day and was just standing there,
- 34:46Speaker 6: fascinated with all the sentence that's on.
- 34:51Speaker 1: You just better go ahead and be rich.
- 34:53Speaker 6: They had a setting on that and said hand iron.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Uh huh, you gotta washing machine.
- 35:01Speaker 5: I don't know what washing you got? Yeah?
- 35:04Speaker 1: Steam like yeah, hands, I mean yeah, all that.
- 35:08Speaker 6: They got that on there too, hand iron, so you
- 35:12Speaker 6: could throw it in here and put it on the setting,
- 35:14Speaker 6: and it'll make it look like your clothes was iron
- 35:17Speaker 6: the dryer.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I need that drop.
- 35:22Speaker 5: He got a person, he got a person inside.
- 35:24Speaker 10: He d.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Going around.
- 35:28Speaker 5: See that. That's why you don't like to.
- 35:31Speaker 6: Do because I don't see I in there. Looked at
- 35:37Speaker 6: my washing machine, fascinator. I turned around. I ain't using it.
- 35:41Speaker 1: You talking up regularly?
- 35:45Speaker 5: Man?
- 35:47Speaker 4: No?
- 35:48Speaker 6: Why what not washing clothes? I don't understand what. But
- 35:54Speaker 6: why am I washing clothes with you?
- 35:58Speaker 1: I understand. I'm not mad, I promise you.
- 36:01Speaker 6: I don't understand why I'm in here washing clothes. Yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 6: and you know why they're dirty because I was fishing
- 36:09Speaker 6: in them. So now if I'm washing the clothes, what
- 36:15Speaker 6: is these people in here for staff?
- 36:18Speaker 1: Exactly? I'm with you when your right.
- 36:25Speaker 7: So let me just ask you this one thing, Steve.
- 36:29Speaker 7: When you, like you said, you were fishing, Okay, when
- 36:31Speaker 7: you come back from fishing, you take your clothes off,
- 36:34Speaker 7: what do you do? Do you put them in the
- 36:36Speaker 7: laundry basket?
- 36:37Speaker 5: What do you do?
- 36:38Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 36:39Speaker 6: I put them in the laundry room. Laundry laundry room
- 36:42Speaker 6: is right by the door at my ranch. I take
- 36:44Speaker 6: my bootsoft socks, pants and shirt off and put it
- 36:47Speaker 6: right there. And that's all happened in a basket.
- 36:51Speaker 7: You mean, yeah, more, I don't be looking for no basket,
- 36:56Speaker 7: So put them right there where is right there on
- 36:58Speaker 7: the floe.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Let's see, all right?
- 37:03Speaker 7: Listen coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, Murial Bowser.
- 37:08Speaker 7: She is the mayor of Washington, d C. She's called
- 37:11Speaker 7: President Trump's move to federalize the nation's capital unsettling and unprecedented.
- 37:16Speaker 7: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listenings the
- 37:19Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:24Speaker 5: The Moment of Truth has arrived, Ice Cube and the
- 37:27Speaker 5: Big Three Playoffs alive from Dallas this Sunday, three pm
- 37:31Speaker 5: Eastern on CBS plus The Monster Celebrity Game. Physical and
- 37:35Speaker 5: fiercely competitive three on three basketball basketball played the way
- 37:39Speaker 5: it's supposed to be.
- 37:40Speaker 6: Watch Land Stevens and Dwight Howard.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Glenn Rice Junior, Montane Harrold, Michael Beasley, and Moore fight
- 37:45Speaker 5: to win the Doctor J Championship Trophy and their share
- 37:48Speaker 5: of the one million dollar finals perse Big Three on
- 37:50Speaker 5: CBS this Sunday, three pm Eastern, twelve pm Pacific.
- 37:54Speaker 7: According to CNN, the National Guard is on the streets
- 37:58Speaker 7: of Washington, DC.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Now.
- 38:00Speaker 7: President Trump is justifying his temporary federal takeover of policing
- 38:04Speaker 7: in Washington, d C. And said, in part the crime
- 38:08Speaker 7: situation in Washington, DC quote is getting worse, not getting better.
- 38:12Speaker 7: DC Mayor Muriel Bowser said, in part quote, I'm also
- 38:17Speaker 7: really ticked off about the intrusion on the district's autonomy
- 38:21Speaker 7: and the characterization of a good work that we do
- 38:24Speaker 7: in this city to make it beautiful and to have
- 38:26Speaker 7: excellent services, to attract millions of tourists, to have a
- 38:29Speaker 7: growing school system, to have a growing city with new
- 38:32Speaker 7: residents showing up every day.
- 38:35Speaker 1: So that's the real Washington.
- 38:37Speaker 7: And guess this guy's Overall violent crime numbers have fallen
- 38:41Speaker 7: in Washington, d C.
- 38:42Speaker 1: After twenty three spike.
- 38:45Speaker 7: Violent crime declined in twenty twenty four and has declined
- 38:48Speaker 7: again so far in twenty twenty five.
- 38:51Speaker 1: So what is the president really trying to do here?
- 38:54Speaker 6: Well, what is it? The president? Let's stop this right here.
- 38:59Speaker 6: This administration is not tough on crime. Let's stop that
- 39:03Speaker 6: right now. That's not what they're tough on. If they
- 39:07Speaker 6: were tough on crime, they would not have pardoned all
- 39:10Speaker 6: of those January sixth rioters who beat and were in
- 39:15Speaker 6: the presidence of officers who lost their lives and was
- 39:20Speaker 6: breaking and entering in the capitol. So if they were
- 39:23Speaker 6: tough on crime, they wouldn't have did it. He's pardoned
- 39:25Speaker 6: more people than any other president, criminals than any other president,
- 39:29Speaker 6: so they're not He's not tough on crime. He's tough
- 39:32Speaker 6: on his enemies. Well, anybody that goes up against him, black,
- 39:39Speaker 6: female mayor white governor. Man, it don't matter if you
- 39:45Speaker 6: were his enemy. He told you in the beginning he's
- 39:48Speaker 6: gonna come after you for one month. He's extended that
- 39:50Speaker 6: to his entire presidency because he's just that petty. So
- 39:55Speaker 6: that's what he's tough on. I was listening to some
- 39:58Speaker 6: residents of Washingington, d C on CNN last night who
- 40:02Speaker 6: were glad to see a couple of old black residents
- 40:06Speaker 6: who were glad to see because she felt like she
- 40:08Speaker 6: couldn't even go outside no more, and now she felt
- 40:11Speaker 6: comfortable seeing more of a police presence there. I understand
- 40:15Speaker 6: also what the mayor is saying, but there is a
- 40:20Speaker 6: medium in here that could be reached, especially in high
- 40:24Speaker 6: crime cities. If you look at the top four high
- 40:26Speaker 6: crime cities Cleveland, Memphis, Detroit, and I think the other
- 40:32Speaker 6: one was DC, Chicago and well in the top but
- 40:39Speaker 6: on the top four, I know Cleveland made top four.
- 40:42Speaker 5: I was just sitting there going.
- 40:43Speaker 8: Damn yeah.
- 40:45Speaker 6: Do you think this is part of a distraction too
- 40:47Speaker 6: for him? Of course, everything the economy, the jobs and
- 40:55Speaker 6: the Epstein five.
- 40:56Speaker 7: Jeffreystee all, wow, all right up every day, right, Yeah,
- 41:04Speaker 7: he's not boring. Coming up in thirty four minutes after
- 41:08Speaker 7: the hour, Denzel Washington's message to the Dallas Cowboys owner
- 41:12Speaker 7: Jerry Jones, saying, all money ain't good money.
- 41:14Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 41:18Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:24Speaker 7: Well in trending, Sports, entertainment, news, actor Denzel Washington, and
- 41:28Speaker 7: we love him and Spike Lee. We're special guests on
- 41:30Speaker 7: First Take with Stephen A.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Smith.
- 41:33Speaker 7: They wanted to promote their new movie Highest to Lowest
- 41:36Speaker 7: in theaters tomorrow.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Denzel is a yeah, I can't wait.
- 41:41Speaker 7: Denzel is a long time Dallas Cowboys fan, and he
- 41:44Speaker 7: called out owner Jerry Jones.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 41:47Speaker 13: I know they're making a lot of money, and I'm
- 41:49Speaker 13: happy for the owner, but the fans ain't happy.
- 41:53Speaker 5: I've been a fan.
- 41:54Speaker 6: I grew up in Malvern, Uptown.
- 41:56Speaker 14: Money or in the Red Raiders. We were the Red
- 41:58Speaker 14: Raiders in the sixties. I was a run back and
- 42:00Speaker 14: we used to shift.
- 42:03Speaker 15: Like the Cowboys and Dray so I said, Oh, the
- 42:05Speaker 15: Cowboys played like us.
- 42:08Speaker 14: I've been a Cowboy fan since the sixties. He's making
- 42:11Speaker 14: it hard for me not to be a fan because
- 42:15Speaker 14: I'm still a Cowboy fan. I'm still going to have
- 42:17Speaker 14: to star on the side of the hat. But he
- 42:19Speaker 14: ain't thinking about us. He's thinking about his pocket, his
- 42:22Speaker 14: box office and Oscars.
- 42:25Speaker 16: Jerry's been a while. Ain't been to the show. You
- 42:27Speaker 16: wouldn't know. Wouldn't been to the show, you wouldn't know. Oh, oh,
- 42:32Speaker 16: I haven't been to the show, so you wouldn't know
- 42:35Speaker 16: what it is to win.
- 42:40Speaker 5: I don't care what he said.
- 42:41Speaker 6: I would just like to say that I have hated
- 42:45Speaker 6: the Cowboys since the sixties because the Cowboys were in
- 42:50Speaker 6: the same division as the Cleveland Browns, the North Division
- 42:54Speaker 6: here we so I've hated the Cowboys since I was
- 42:57Speaker 6: a child. That's a weird reaction, uh diconomy the dynamic
- 43:05Speaker 6: that I had with the Cowboys. I love the Cowboy players.
- 43:12Speaker 6: Michael Irvin, Emmit, Dion Parsons, Nate Newton, don't catch you
- 43:21Speaker 6: should come to my club, man.
- 43:23Speaker 5: I love the Cowboy players. I just can't stand that team.
- 43:31Speaker 6: Man, How does that work? Is it the I don't know, America,
- 43:36Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 43:38Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 43:39Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 43:43Speaker 7: Man.
- 43:43Speaker 6: The players are some of the coolest dudes.
- 43:45Speaker 10: Man.
- 43:45Speaker 6: This you call to my comedy club in Dallas. Band
- 43:48Speaker 6: of dudes. Man is a great dudes. Man. I can't
- 43:51Speaker 6: stand the team though.
- 43:55Speaker 7: Well, okay, so so Denzel said he didn't like the
- 43:58Speaker 7: owner basically, so, well, here's.
- 44:06Speaker 6: The deal with Jerry Joe. He's an old rich billionaire
- 44:12Speaker 6: that bought a team because that's what he always wanted
- 44:16Speaker 6: to do. He had enough oil money and all this
- 44:19Speaker 6: to buy the team. So he owns the team and
- 44:23Speaker 6: now that's his toy. He's not only the owner, he's
- 44:26Speaker 6: the general manager. They made all the decisions. Yeah, because
- 44:33Speaker 6: the best coach he ever had was Jimmy Johnson. That's
- 44:37Speaker 6: the best coach they ever had. They butted heads because
- 44:41Speaker 6: Jimmy Johnson was getting too much credit. Jimmy Johnson was
- 44:44Speaker 6: winning Super Bowls, so he got rid of him. The
- 44:48Speaker 6: Anyboughty and his boy from Oklahoma got rid of him,
- 44:53Speaker 6: then anybody that Coyle was down and does what he wants.
- 44:56Speaker 6: He keeps them and he keeps them too long. The
- 44:58Speaker 6: last three coaches they've had have been garbage, garbage cowboys.
- 45:05Speaker 6: That little red headed boy they had, the little fat when.
- 45:08Speaker 5: They got now Garrett garbage dudes.
- 45:12Speaker 6: Man, I'm talking about man. Why y'all why they still
- 45:14Speaker 6: the coach over there for y'all? That's y'all problem. Y'all
- 45:17Speaker 6: ain't got no coaching man. Y'all got the players, you
- 45:20Speaker 6: got the talent, you got everything. That's that dope boy,
- 45:24Speaker 6: C J. Lamb Parsings, all the boys. Y'all just ain't
- 45:29Speaker 6: got no coach.
- 45:30Speaker 4: Man.
- 45:31Speaker 5: But here's one observation though, Stephen Ain was not screaming
- 45:35Speaker 5: during that interview. Dog, you know who the king is?
- 45:45Speaker 6: Stephen a bag down? He know the goat baby when
- 45:51Speaker 6: he's we listen.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I now like the Cowboys. I love the Cowboys all right.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Coming up next, and.
- 46:02Speaker 6: I feel sorry for the fans in Dallas cause they
- 46:05Speaker 6: they hoped be up every year.
- 46:07Speaker 7: That's all right, coming up next. It is a nephew
- 46:14Speaker 7: and today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 46:17Speaker 7: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 46:23Speaker 7: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 46:26Speaker 7: my Strawberry letter for today, and the subject is I'm
- 46:29Speaker 7: in the middle of some mess.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Okay, we'll get into that and find out what that's
- 46:32Speaker 1: all about in just a few aren't we all?
- 46:37Speaker 7: That's what makes life fun. Right right now, the nephew

- 56:45Speaker 7: All right, nephew, thank you subject. I'm in the middle
- 56:48Speaker 7: of some mess. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've always hated technology,
- 56:53Speaker 7: and here's why. The darn camera at the front of
- 56:55Speaker 7: our at the front door of our house caused a
- 56:57Speaker 7: huge misunderstanding. My husband's daughter had her first child and
- 57:01Speaker 7: the baby came early, so my husband rushed out to
- 57:04Speaker 7: Colorado to help her assemble the baby's crib and do
- 57:08Speaker 7: other little things to get the house ready for the baby.
- 57:11Speaker 7: I stayed behind because our fifteen year old was getting
- 57:14Speaker 7: ready to go back to school, and the process of
- 57:16Speaker 7: running around with my son for back to school shopping,
- 57:19Speaker 7: I fell at the mall and I sprained my ankle.
- 57:23Speaker 7: My husband told his friend and his friend's wife to
- 57:26Speaker 7: check on me. My friend met me at home on
- 57:29Speaker 7: the day it happened. So his friend met me at
- 57:33Speaker 7: home on the day it happened so he could help
- 57:35Speaker 7: me get into the house. He also brought my son
- 57:37Speaker 7: and I a couple of pizzas. My husband saw him
- 57:40Speaker 7: on the cameras and called to thank him. At least
- 57:43Speaker 7: that's what he told me he did, but when my
- 57:45Speaker 7: husband called me, he was going off on me. He
- 57:48Speaker 7: said I never should have let his friend come into
- 57:50Speaker 7: the house if he didn't have his wife with him.
- 57:53Speaker 7: Our son was in the house and I was wearing
- 57:54Speaker 7: a brace on my leg, so I'm not sure why
- 57:57Speaker 7: my husband was so upset. The next after his friend
- 58:01Speaker 7: dropped by to pick up to pick my son up
- 58:04Speaker 7: to take him to meet his girlfriend at the movies,
- 58:06Speaker 7: I got a call from my husband and again he
- 58:10Speaker 7: yelled at me, but he didn't say a word to
- 58:12Speaker 7: his friend. I don't understand why he doesn't trust his friend,
- 58:15Speaker 7: but he asked him to check on me after my injury.
- 58:19Speaker 7: What does it matter if the man's wife didn't come
- 58:21Speaker 7: with him. I don't want his friend the front door
- 58:24Speaker 7: camera has put me in the middle of some mess.
- 58:26Speaker 7: It was completely innocent. Why is my husband taking it
- 58:30Speaker 7: out on me, all out on me? Well, simply because
- 58:35Speaker 7: men don't like other men in the house alone with
- 58:38Speaker 7: their wives when they are not there.
- 58:40Speaker 1: It's just that simple.
- 58:42Speaker 7: Although your case is quite different because you were incapacitated
- 58:46Speaker 7: at the time, it didn't matter to your husband. Even
- 58:49Speaker 7: though he called the friend. It still didn't matter. And
- 58:51Speaker 7: let me say this is not that your husband doesn't
- 58:54Speaker 7: trust you. He probably doesn't trust his friend or any
- 58:57Speaker 7: other man up around his wife when he's away. That's
- 59:00Speaker 7: just how it is. Because if anything happens, he's all
- 59:03Speaker 7: the way in Colorado. He can't do anything about it.
- 59:07Speaker 7: We all know accidents can happen, of course in life,
- 59:09Speaker 7: and he shouldn't have yelled at you, But he was
- 59:12Speaker 7: just being a man. Yes, it was overprotective and jealous
- 59:16Speaker 7: behavior on his part, so thank god he knows now
- 59:19Speaker 7: that you and his friend didn't do anything with each other.
- 59:22Speaker 7: But the yelling at you, I don't like that.
- 59:24Speaker 1: He was wrong for that.
- 59:25Speaker 7: He could have let you know that he didn't want
- 59:27Speaker 7: another man in the house while he was away, and
- 59:29Speaker 7: he could have asked you to please make sure that
- 59:31Speaker 7: his wife came with him.
- 59:33Speaker 1: But again, you were incapacitated at the time.
- 59:36Speaker 7: He was mad about it, your husband and thought she
- 59:39Speaker 7: should have known better, and what he said came out unfiltered.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Steve, this letter is really kind of crazy because this
- 59:47Speaker 6: is all because of the husband. Everything in this letter
- 59:53Speaker 6: is because of the request that the husband made. Now,
- 59:59Speaker 6: Shell absolutely corrected. Men don't like other men in their
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: house when they're not there. You know, I ain't got
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: no friends can come visit my house and hang home,
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: sit around. I don't go on in here and talk
- 1:00:10Speaker 6: to Margie. No father?
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: What what?
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: What? What?
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: What you're talking about? But that's but he invited this.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: You got hurt, your sprange, your ankle, you got a
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: knee breast. Y'all's daughter had her first child, and the
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: baby came early, so my husband rushed out to Colorado
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: to help her assemble the baby's crib and do other
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: things to get the house.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: Ready for the baby.
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: Where did dad as?
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: Where the baby? Where the baby dad as? In this letter?
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: I don't know, so I guess she's single. I guess
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: her and the guy fell out. I don't know that
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: ain't really what the letter's about. But I was curious
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: where the baby dad is while you got to fly
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: all the ready to Colorado to put together a baby
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: bad I don't understand that anyway. So he knew he
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: had to leave, and you stayed behind because y'all's fifteen
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: year old was getting ready to go back school. Now,
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: you didn't hurt yourself. Then your husband told his friend
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: and his friend's wife to check on me. His friend
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: met me at home on the day it happened, so
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: he can help me get into the house. He also
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: bought my son and I a couple of pizzas. My
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: husband saw him on the cameras and called to thank him.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: At least that's what he told me. But when he
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: called you, he was going off on me. He said,
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: you should have never let his friend come in the
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: house if he didn't have his wife with him. Well,
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: I understand what he's saying, but didn't he Ain't you
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: the one that asked your friend to do this? You
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: the one, and the man's wife was okay with him
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: going over there without her because he was taking a
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: couple of pizzas over there for her and the sun,
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: and it was helping you get in the house. Now,
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: why he mad at you for this for not knowing
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: the man law rule, which don't really apply here, because
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: your man asked the man to do this. See that's different.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: If I look on the camera and all of a sudden,
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: I see this dude just being Captain helpful. Well, hey,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: hold up, partner, you over here, she can get in
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: the house. She heard a leg, She didn't lose a leg.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: It's still on there, so you know, I would I
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: could have understood where he was coming from. But this
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: is a bit much of an overreaction, and I'll tell
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: you what it's from when we come back. But it's
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: a bit of an overreaction, and it's all because of
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: a phone call he made.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: All right, all right, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: Today's Strawberry Letter subject I'm in the middle of some mess.
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away

- 1:03:39Speaker 6: five or Ionic six.
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: Get down to your local Hondai dealer and get away
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: with a great deal only during the Hondai Getaway Sale event.
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: Visit HYUNDAIUSA dot com for details.
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: All right, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: is I'm in the middle of some mess.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: Yeah, you're in the middle of some mess that was
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: created by your husband. You all have a daughter that
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: lives in Colorado who had a baby that came early,
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: so your husband rushed out there to help her put
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: together the crib and all this stuff and get to
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: the house ready for when the baby come home.
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: Okay, so he left you at the home.
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: When y'all was fifteen year old who had to go
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: back to school, you went out shopping for some school
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: clothes and you fail and hurt yourself at the mall.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: Your husband called his friend who stays like in the
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: neighborhood or somewhere like that, I don't know, and asked
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: him to go and check on y'all and look out
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: for you because you would hurt your leg. So, in
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: coming from the hospital, the friend anticipates you may need
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: help getting out the car, So who's over there to
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: meet you when you get out the car to help
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: you up the steps of However, your house is set up.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: Any bought a pizza, some pizza for you and your
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: son to eat. Her husband sees this on the doorbell camera,
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: calls the man and thanks him, but then he calls
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: you and goes off because you let a man in
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: the house. Why he wasn't there. Your husband called this
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: man and asked him and his wife to check on you. Now,
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: he mad at you because you let the man in
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: the house. You don't understand the rule. Men don't like
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: men in the house when they're not there. But he
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: asked God to help out, so at least he was aware. Now,
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: if he was unaware of the man coming over to
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: the house, that's another thing.
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: But he was aware.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: So now, but you in that tripping because you're trying
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: to figure out your son was in the house with y'all.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: You wearing a brace on your legs. So I'm not
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: sure why your husband will sack the next day his
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: friend and drop by to pick up my son, y'allso
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: to take him to meet his girlfriend at the movies.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: I got a call from my husband again. He yelled
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: at me, but didn't say a word to his friend.
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: I don't understand why he doesn't trust his friend, but
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: he asked him to check on me after my injury.
- 1:06:18Speaker 6: What doesn't matter if the man's wife didn't come with him.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: I don't want his friend. The front door camera has
- 1:06:24Speaker 6: put me in the middle of semess, and it's completely innocent.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: Why is my husband taking.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: It all out of it?
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: Which leads me to my favorite quote that I've heard
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: from a minister this year, Bishop Brana from Atlanta. Be
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: careful of people who are the victims of circumstances they created.
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: Be careful of people who are victims of circumstances that
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: they created. Your husband created this whole thing. Now he
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: upset because you let a man in the house. He
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: told the man to go over there. And if you
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: told the man to go over there, you should have said, hey,
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: man go in there, but stay on the porch. But
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: you ain't say that. The wife.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: No, you told the man to come over here.
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: Now, had you not said that, she may have said, oh, no,
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: we're good. So we okay, we don't need a Now, No,
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: you don't have to help me in the house. No,
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: I'm okay, I'm okay. But you set him over there.
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: The only thing I can tell you is there's a
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: form of insecurity going over here. Now there's a man
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: cold that we don't like men in our house. But
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: you invited the guy over there. You told him to
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: go over there.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: And look again on.
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: The man's wife ain't having him no problem with him
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: going over there, but you do. I think it's backwards.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: I think this is an easy one for you.
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: To say.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Hey, look, I'm so confused. You told him to come over.
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: You didn't tell you told me you told him to
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: come over. You didn't tell me not to let him
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: in the house, and you didn't tell me that he
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: had to have his wife with him. So now how
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: you mad at me? And you're not really in the
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: middle of no mess?
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: Lady.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: If you do, like a woman does, turn it, turn
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: it over. Had it happened to me so many times?
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Turn it?
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: Do what women do.
- 1:08:43Speaker 10: Turn it.
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: And stop using logic, use emotion. See the women you
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: have a trump card. Don't use logic you're talking logic,
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: use emotion.
- 1:09:06Speaker 20: I hurt my leg and I'm falling this malling there.
- 1:09:09Speaker 20: You sending this man over here out help me, and
- 1:09:12Speaker 20: then he helped me, and now you know now that
- 1:09:16Speaker 20: was being worse now and look at you and you
- 1:09:18Speaker 20: ain't even here. So now you care about that baby motor,
- 1:09:22Speaker 20: You care about me? You the flip You're just stayed
- 1:09:24Speaker 20: over here and help me with my leg? And where
- 1:09:27Speaker 20: has the baby daddy at? Anyway, you should have been
- 1:09:29Speaker 20: putting that grib together.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: What's your flower there? Spend all that money you got
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: that crib to cosse. That's twelve hundred dollars.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: All right, how is your comments on today's struggle?
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: I told you that boy wasn't that good when they
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: was dating each other. But you're gonna come my out.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: And check out the Strawberry Letter podcast.
- 1:09:49Speaker 6: You have raised this fifteen year old like a man.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: He would have helped me get in the house anyway.

- 1:10:58Speaker 5: preseason continues. We got the ten to see Titans versus Atlanta.
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: We got the Kansas City Chiefs. They're going up against
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: Seattle Seahawks. And just in case you missed it, we
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: talked about it last hour. Longtime Dallas cowboy fan, the
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: one and only the Goat, mister Denzel Washington himself was
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: on first tape along with another legend, mister Spike Lee,
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: and he called out and criticized Cowboys on the Jerry Jones,
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: but his management of the team. Take a listen.
- 1:11:24Speaker 13: I know they're making a lot of money, and I'm
- 1:11:26Speaker 13: happy for the owner, but the fans ain't happy.
- 1:11:30Speaker 5: I've been a fan.
- 1:11:31Speaker 16: I grew up in my running uptown.
- 1:11:33Speaker 14: Money earning the Red Raiders. We were the Red Raiders
- 1:11:35Speaker 14: in the sixties. I was the running back and we
- 1:11:37Speaker 14: used to shift.
- 1:11:40Speaker 15: Like the cowboy Landry so I said, ooh, the Cowboys
- 1:11:43Speaker 15: played like us. I've been a Cowboy fan since the sixties.
- 1:11:48Speaker 15: He's making it hard for me not to be a
- 1:11:50Speaker 15: fan because I'm still a Cowboy fan. I'm still gonna
- 1:11:53Speaker 15: have to start on the side of the hat. But
- 1:11:55Speaker 15: he ain't thinking about us. He's thinking about his pocket,
- 1:11:58Speaker 15: his box office, his oscars.
- 1:12:01Speaker 16: Jerry's been a while. Ain't been to the show.
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: You wouldn't know.
- 1:12:06Speaker 16: Wouldn't been to the show. You wouldn't know. Uh oh,
- 1:12:09Speaker 16: haven't been to the show, so you wouldn't know.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: What it is to win.
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: I love it. Hey, you said earlier, you said that
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: that Jimmy Jimmy Johnson was the best coach. Was Tom
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: Landry a good coach for the Cowboys?
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: Tom Landry was a great coach, right?
- 1:12:26Speaker 10: You know?
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: So that's one two Basically for the Cowboys, Jimmy and Dantel, they.
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: Ain't had a good coach since. They haven't had a
- 1:12:34Speaker 6: good coach since since Jimmy Johnson. Yeah, no, they haven't. Okay, okay,
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: because once Jimmy Johnson got all that credit, Jerry Jones
- 1:12:44Speaker 6: didn't like it. He got rid of him and he
- 1:12:46Speaker 6: bought in all his boys. After that, he bought in
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: the boy from Oklahoma, and then he was a good coach,
- 1:12:53Speaker 6: but he couldn't get his weight with Jerry in the way.
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: And Jerry bought in everybody after that he could control.
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: And that's what, like I said, man, I have a
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: weird diconomy. I love the Cowboy players. I love the
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: city of Dallas. I just don't once they put them
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: their uniform on, I don't. I just don't like them
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: no more. I just don't. What you think what you
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: think gonna happen with parcels?
- 1:13:19Speaker 11: Man?
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: Well I think what what you think gonna happen to parcels?
- 1:13:24Speaker 8: Parcels?
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know. That's crazy the way they treat
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: people over there in Dallas, man, You know, I don't know.
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: Only time Jerry Jones is a good owner is when
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: the players get in trouble. Then he there for them.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: But negotiating. Yeah, all the players will tell you to negotiation. Yeah,
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: done that. He does it all wrong, man. This guy's
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: too good of a player to be treated this way.
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: All right, guys, thank you. Coming up at the top
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: of the hour, a man on social media needs some advice.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: He says, everyone is happy but me we'll talk about
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: Morning Show. All right, this is from MJ and Steve HARVFM.

- 1:14:11Speaker 7: eleven years. We have a nine year old daughter together,
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: and my wife's teenage son from her first marriage lives
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: with us full time. Everyone in our house seems happy
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: and well adjusted except me. For the last few years,
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: I've felt increasingly dissatisfied.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: With my life.
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: I've told my wife how I feel, and she's verbally supportive,
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: but she won't actually do anything to change things. I've
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: suggested trying new things together, moving to a new house,
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: anything to break up the monotony, but since she's happy,
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: she has no motivation. I love her and our kids,
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: but I'm starting to wonder if I should leave because
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: no one else wants change. Am I out of line
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: for feeling this way? Should I get therapy? Try a
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: trial separation?
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: Well? Bro, what's wrong?
- 1:15:00Speaker 19: You know?
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: I mean, I appreciate you writing it, but what's wrong?
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: You seem like you're bored, You're not happy with where
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: you are in life, or you just don't like the house,
- 1:15:15Speaker 6: or you don't think you're getting anything in return. Look, man,
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: being a husband and a father is a hard job
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: because you're not gonna get it one hundred. If you're
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: expecting that, you're not. Marriage is not fifty to fifty.
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: Stop all that. It's not fifty to fifty. Never what's
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: set up to be that way. It's eighty five fifteen.
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: They get eighty five, you get to fifteen. You have
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: to learn how to take that fifteen, maximize it, adjust
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: and enjoy it. And that's not anything that's crazy to
- 1:15:48Speaker 6: say to a man, because are you not taking pride
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: or showing gratitude for what you've accomplished? Are you losing
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: sight of what you've accomplished as a man because you're
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: overly concerned of what you haven't accomplished. Now, if you've
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: made a life where everybody in your family's happy, brother,
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: you've done a hell of a job as a father
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: and a husband, you've done a hell of a job.
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: Your wife is trying to be supportive, but she don't
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: really know what's wrong, and based on your letter, I
- 1:16:19Speaker 6: don't either, So, brother, I think you should focus on
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: the things that you have gotten right. You have been
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: an excellent provider, an excellent protector. You've taken in this
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: boy that was from another marriage. You provided a father
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: figure for him. Y'all got a nine year old daughter.
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: Your wife is happy you want to move to a bigger,
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: different house. They don't want to move.
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: Bruh.
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: You probably need to go get some therapy because you
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: need to talk to somebody about your feelings, because I
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: don't know what you're feeling.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: So that's my suggestion to.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: He mentioned therapy. Should he go get therapy?
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: Yeah, you probably should, man, since that's on your list
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: of things to do. I pray my way out of stuff.
- 1:17:06Speaker 7: Okay, all right, we have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:17:09Speaker 7: This is from JJ and Steve HARVEFM. JJ said, it's
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: weird that I'm writing this on social media since social
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: media has become a problem. My girlfriend and I have
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: been together for a year and a half, but things
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: have changed over the last couple of months. She took
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: a new job, and I guess her coworkers are absurdly
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: active on social media.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Since she started.
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: Working there, her screen time is more than tripled and
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: we can't go anywhere without taking a few dozen selfies.
- 1:17:38Speaker 7: As if that wasn't enough, she has to double check
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: and approve all the photos and fix the lighting when
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: it's not perfect. We don't get to enjoy the places
- 1:17:47Speaker 7: we go because they've all become background noise to her
- 1:17:51Speaker 7: emerging brand. I need to talk with her about it,
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: but I'm not sure how to approach it because I
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: fear becoming content. I really don't want that kind of life.
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: How do I handle this?
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I can't help you, though, I don't know. I
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: can't help you. There are a lot of people like that,
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: you know. I know some people. I got people in
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: my family like that.
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you got to take pictures of food before
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: you eat. I don't get it.
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: I don't know. I work with a lot of young people. Man,
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: they keep their phone in their hand. Everything is content.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: Everything you can't go nowhere. Every time you put some
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: clothes on, every time you walk in, they got stories.
- 1:18:39Speaker 6: Ms Hobby, put that on your story? What story?
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:18:46Speaker 7: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:18:49Speaker 7: Morning Show. Well, if you're planning to book a flight
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: on Spirit Airlines, you might want to listen up. Spirit
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: says it's still struggling to turn a profit after coming
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: out of bankruptcy earlier this year. To stay afloat, Spirit
- 1:19:05Speaker 7: has been reshaping their root network, adding more premium seats
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: and even furloughing two hundred and seventy pilots. They're also
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: considering selling off some planes and airport gate slots. However,
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: even with all that, the company says there's a substantial
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: doubt it can keep going.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: So, Steve, I don't know.
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: You gotta wow.
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: Are y'all still on speed? Are you listening? Well?
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: Think we're gonna be able to keep going.
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: We're gonna sell some gates and we're gonna lay off
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: some piletsy. We all know what we're gonna do to
- 1:19:38Speaker 6: be able to keep going. You don't know, Dame Dan
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: mentioned nothing about mechanics and all this here. So if
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: I quit flying Spirit, I don't. You're not gonna keep
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: telling me there's no way we could keep and I'm
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: getting on your plane. Yeah no, man, I can't help spear.
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: I know I wouldn't be getting on it.
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: Why we get on the plane that's got a fight
- 1:20:00Speaker 5: every other flight? You're a fight.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: They're always in the news. To Spirit is always in
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: the news.
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: About to get up on here fight.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I'm about to take another flight?
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: How much I think it's too much? It's too much
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: going wrong for me to take the chance of flying
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: with them.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: What about buying them? Not flying them? What is it?
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: How much money you think there were? Are they going
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to go for?
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: Spirit?
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: Yeah? Spirit about.
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: play around it. Would you rather right after this.
- 1:20:38Speaker 18: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, get into
- 1:20:45Speaker 18: the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away with the
- 1:20:49Speaker 18: deal so right it almost feels wrong right now.
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: Get huge savings on our popular models, including our venture
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: ready SUVs like the Handi Santa Fe, or go all
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: electric with America's most awarded EV lineup like the Ionic
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: five or Ionic six.
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: Get down to your local Hondai dealer and get away
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: with a great deal only during the Hondai Getaway Sail Event.
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: Visit Hyundai USA dot com for detail.
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: It is time now for a round of would you
- 1:21:17Speaker 7: rather here we go? Would you rather wear a bib
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: every time you eat out? Or would you rather drink
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: from a sippy cuff?
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Baby?
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: Ooh, they both babies? Give me that sippy cup. I
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: don't want that bill. That bib looks real childish.
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: See, yeah, sitting hill with my big lips with some
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: ducks on the bill.
- 1:21:40Speaker 8: That ain't gonna.
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: We put that cup under the table, cup pick up?
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: It is all right?
- 1:21:50Speaker 7: Would you rather have to work the most miserable job ever?
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: Or would you rather die a year early? What?
- 1:21:59Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: Would you rather work the most miserable job there is
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: in life? Or would you rather just die one year
- 1:22:05Speaker 7: earlier than if you're supposed to?
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: Oh, I'm gonna be dead anyway. Yeah, the job I'm
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: gonna kill us because I'm not. I'm gonna tell you
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: right now, I'm not gonna be empty and in port parties,
- 1:22:18Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: Okay, all right.
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: I had a partner that had that job. He emptied
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: porter parties. Uh huh, I don't even know how that works. Yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: he didn't either, one day, taking hot tea everywhere.
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: On him.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: Would you rather only be able to have sex in
- 1:22:46Speaker 7: one position forever forever or give up sex for one year?
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: Oh no, we're gonna take that one position. Oh yeah,
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: we're gonna take it. We're gonna take all right, but
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: that one year, I'll no, we're not doing that.
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: What you know about here in one position forever, or
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: just give up sex for an entire year and then.
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: Fast I find to give it up for a year. Yeah,
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: because when I come back, you got to show.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: The show, show, show your love.
- 1:23:27Speaker 8: I will be.
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: What y'all'll know about it?
- 1:23:35Speaker 10: All right?
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Would you rather give up bread or meat? Which one?
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: Bread?
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: Bread? All right?
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: Give up meat?
- 1:23:45Speaker 10: What? What?
- 1:23:46Speaker 17: What?
- 1:23:46Speaker 10: What?
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: What you're gonna put on the bread? Tell us you
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: got the bread from?
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: What?
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: Would you rather give up all techtive devices like phones,
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: like laptops? Or would you rather give up the arts, music, books, movies,
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: tech devices or arts?
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Which one? And hurry, Harry, Harry.
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: I'm giving up arts. I can't believe I said that.
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: I cannot.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: You ain't got no more life, Steve, Hurry. I don't
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: care bout no arts.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I ain't going Okay, okay, coming up, that's today's round.
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: Would you rather coming up?
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: At forty nine minutes after the hour, we'll close out
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: the show with the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: It's our last break of the day. Right after this,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: The moment of truth has arrived. Ice Cube and the
- 1:24:46Speaker 5: Big Three Playoffs Alive from Dallas this Sunday, three pm
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: Eastern on CBS plus The Monster Celebrity Game. Physical and
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: fiercely competitive three or three basketball basketball played the way
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: it's supposed to be. Watch Landsca, Eve Dwhite, Howard, Glenn Rice, Junior, Montes, Harrold,
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: Michael Beasley, and Moore fight to win the Doctor J
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: Championship Trophy and their share of the one million dollar
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: Finals perse Big Three on CB. That's this Sunday, three
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: pm Eastern, twelve pm Pacific.
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: the day on this Thursday. And it's been a good day.
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: Steve.
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: I got some close remarks, my close remarks today. I
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: don't know how long they're gonna last because I just
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: had this thought that came into my head. So I
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: don't know how well I'm gonna be able to expound
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: on it because I don't really write these down. I
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: just really go straight from the cuff because I find
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: it better when I speak from my heart. And here's
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: the thought that came to me. If you really really
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: want to get to where you're going, you need to
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: take God with you. If you really really want to
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: get to where you going, you ought to take God
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: with you. I don't know how to fix that into
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: a catchy phrase or anything. It's just a thought that
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: popped into my head because I can tell you for
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: a fact, as I look back on my life and
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: all the things I had accomplished, everything I've ever gotten through,
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: over gotten, passed, or somehow survived, if it had not
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: been for God, I don't know how I would have
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: made it.
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: I just really don't.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: If you're trying to accomplish your dreams and everything on
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: your own, buckle up, homie. Gonna be a rough ride.
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: But see, here's the deal. It's hard trying to get
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: to where you're going. It's hard amplishing your goals, it's
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: hard to live your dreams.
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: It's hard.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: But if you got God on your side, it's doable.
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: You can manage it. Because He didn't tell you that
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: it wouldn't be hard. He just said he'd always be
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: with you. But you have a choice. As a human being.
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: He promised he'd be with you, but he can only
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: be with you if you invite him. God is very polite.
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: He don't push yourself on you if you don't want him.
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: That's the choice you make. Good luck, man, I wish
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: you well. See, I don't have to say I know
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: people who've tried to make it without it. I did it.
- 1:27:54Speaker 6: There was a period in my life where I was
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: trying to do it and I wasn't consulting it on
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: god bout nothing. I was just doing it my way.
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: And boy, let me tell you something. Who who woo woooo.
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: At least had I asked him for strength, I could
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: have dealt with it better. At Least have I asked
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: him to order my steps, I probably would have made
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: different decisions. But since he gives us the power choice,
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: I was just making decisions I wanted to make at
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: that particular time, without no consultation at all. Oh my goodness,
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: Oh my goodness. And then you know, you get to
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: a point in your life and everybody always ask everybody
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: this same question. If you could do anything over in
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: your life, what would you do? Well? When I look
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: back on it, man, I made a million mistakes. But
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: those mistakes they helped reshape me. They didn't define me.
- 1:28:59Speaker 6: They re shaped me. Every mistake I've ever made has
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: made me a better person, every single one of them.
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: Now I'm gonna tell you something about sining that I learned.
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: Sining costs you more than you want to pay, and
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: it makes you stay longer than you want to stay.
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: That's a fact. And man on, man o, man o,
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: man o, man have I had to stay in some
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: stuff way longer than I wanted to?
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: I just I just did. Man, But that's everybody. Ain't
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: just me, it's you.
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: But because God gives us the power choice, He allows
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: us to decide what we're gonna do. We're the only
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: creature he created that gets to decide. You get to
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: decide what you want to be for the rest of
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: your life. Bird don't have no choice. Bird go id
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: gotta be a bird, Dog gotta be a dog, Bear
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: gotta be a bear. The lion has to be a lion.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: The hyena has to be a hyaena. We get to
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: pick lawyer, doctor, radio host, comedian, factory worker, truck driver,
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: cab driver, restaurant owner. We get to decide well in
- 1:30:20Speaker 6: our decisions, which we have full power. Please make the
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: conscious decision to take God with you in everything you do,
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: in everything you do. Listen, man, it ain't as bad
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: as it sounds. You know why I used to fight
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: it so bad because I was afraid I was gonna
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: miss out on some of God was gonna not let
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: me do something I wanted to do. And that's about
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: the stupidest thing I ever made. That's the dumbest that
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: said time.
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: I'm just yere.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: If I go to God right now, he ain't gonna
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: let me do this right here, man, you know, half
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: the stuff that he didn't let me do I shouldn't
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: have did anyway. Man, Man, I could have skipped the
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: foolishness I got myself into. I mean, straight out ignorance.
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: I could have skipped it all. So when people ask
- 1:31:06Speaker 6: you that question, do you have any request, any regrets?
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: Is anything you would have did different? Yeah, I'll tell
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: you what I'd have did different. I'd have confided in
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: God with everything. That's what I wish I had done different.
- 1:31:20Speaker 6: And then guess what. I probably would have got here
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: a lot faster. As a matter of fact, I know
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: because the detours I took well were so stupid. Listen
- 1:31:30Speaker 6: to me, if you're trying to get to where you're going,
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: do yourself a favor and take God with you, because
- 1:31:36Speaker 6: if you don't, you're gonna wish your hand. Those are
