The Chief Medical Officer has outlined ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition to strengthen Saint Lucia’s public healthcare system. Over the past several months, the Ministry has been reviewing healthcare services and facilities, updating clinical protocols and standard operating procedures, increasing staffing, expanding clinics and services, and listening to the experiences and concerns of patients and healthcare workers.
