- 0:02Speaker 1: We will pursue charges in this case. I see various
- 0:05Speaker 1: crimes that have occurred. Exactly what they are, I'm not
- 0:08Speaker 1: going to flag, but the Face Act has been mentioned
- 0:11Speaker 1: as one of the predicates there. In other cases, the
- 0:14Speaker 1: Biden DOJ used the Clan Act conspiracy charges tacked on
- 0:18Speaker 1: to the Face Act in the case of protests outside
- 0:20Speaker 1: abortion clinics to bring much longer sentences. So there are
- 0:24Speaker 1: a number of tools available with us.
- 0:26Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.

- 0:44Speaker 3: know the story. Christy nom is saying the record straight
- 0:47Speaker 3: about what the Trump administration has been doing, and just
- 0:50Speaker 3: tell me these criminals were dangerous and violent as well
- 0:54Speaker 3: as sexual predators. So why is the media not telling
- 0:57Speaker 3: you that part of the story. We'll explain that and
- 1:00Speaker 3: give you the facts, but first want to tell you

- 2:54Speaker 3: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Homeland Security Secretary christinom saying on Monday that federal authorities
- 3:03Speaker 3: have arrested more than ten thousand criminal illegal aliens in
- 3:09Speaker 3: Minneapolis alone. She added that investigators have opened what she
- 3:14Speaker 3: described as a sweeping fraud probe totally at least nineteen billion,
- 3:20Speaker 3: sharpening her criticism of the Minnesota Governor Waltz and the
- 3:24Speaker 3: Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry for what she called a failure
- 3:28Speaker 3: to protect public safety. In a statement, Nomes said the
- 3:32Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security law enforcement officers carried out the
- 3:37Speaker 3: arrests and that about three thousand were made in the
- 3:40Speaker 3: past six weeks alone. She said, those arrests included murderers, rapists,
- 3:46Speaker 3: child sex offenders, and other violent criminals. But the media,
- 3:51Speaker 3: they don't want you to know this story. Christy Nome
- 3:55Speaker 3: is a great example of one of those that the
- 3:57Speaker 3: so called media loves to go after. And on Sunday
- 4:01Speaker 3: morning on Face the Nation on CBS, there was this
- 4:05Speaker 3: exchange and it was amazing because Christy Nome took the
- 4:10Speaker 3: anchor to the woodshed over her own lives. I want
- 4:14Speaker 3: you to listen to the DHS secretary destroying CBS News's
- 4:19Speaker 3: Margaret Brennan over the ice arrests and listened to the
- 4:22Speaker 3: bias that was on the show that she didn't allow
- 4:25Speaker 3: to become reality.
- 4:27Speaker 4: You just said, millions, what's the breakdown of the percentage
- 4:30Speaker 4: of those who you have in custody who have actually
- 4:32Speaker 4: committed a criminal offense versus just the civil infraction. Every
- 4:37Speaker 4: single individual has committed a crime, but seventy percent of
- 4:40Speaker 4: them have committed or have charges against them on violent
- 4:44Speaker 4: crimes and crimes that they are charged with or have
- 4:47Speaker 4: been convicted of that have come from other countries that
- 4:49Speaker 4: are here illegally. First of all, and then they have
- 4:52Speaker 4: committed a criminal act while they've been here or in
- 4:55Speaker 4: their home countries as well. It's not seventy percent, yes,
- 4:58Speaker 4: it is is seventy percent of everyone, you guys, it's
- 5:02Speaker 4: changing your percentage. You pick and choose what numbers you
- 5:05Speaker 4: think work. But that is the facts is that seventy
- 5:08Speaker 4: percent of the people that we have detained have charges
- 5:11Speaker 4: against them or have been convicted of charges, and they
- 5:14Speaker 4: need to be brought to justice. And we're going to
- 5:16Speaker 4: keep doing that no matter how much you guys keep
- 5:18Speaker 4: lying and don't tell the public the truth. It absolutely
- 5:21Speaker 4: is that these law enforcement officers are out there every
- 5:23Speaker 4: day doing the work to protect the American people, and
- 5:27Speaker 4: they will keep doing that because they believe in enforcing
- 5:29Speaker 4: the law, which is exactly what President Trump has charged
- 5:31Speaker 4: them with.
- 5:32Speaker 3: You listen there to again the lies coming from CBS News.
- 5:37Speaker 3: They try to spend the numbers, they try to say
- 5:39Speaker 3: what she said is not accurate, and then when they're
- 5:42Speaker 3: called out on it, you notice how quiet Brennan shut
- 5:45Speaker 3: down because she knows that this is the actual number,
- 5:50Speaker 3: which also brings us to another part of this story.
- 5:53Speaker 3: You may not know the headline that I'm about to
- 5:55Speaker 3: give you, and that is the DOJ is investigating the
- 6:00Speaker 3: Minnesota governor as well as the Minneapolis mayor their boat
- 6:04Speaker 3: to crime. The probe is a quote intimidation tactic, and
- 6:08Speaker 3: the liberal media is more than happy to spend it
- 6:11Speaker 3: that way. Exactly for them. CNN doing a perfect job
- 6:15Speaker 3: of giving you state sponsored media from the governor and
- 6:19Speaker 3: the mayor, as they reported on this story between Jake
- 6:23Speaker 3: Tapper and Caitlin Collins. Listen to how they tried to
- 6:27Speaker 3: explain the story to you so that you think that
- 6:30Speaker 3: somehow Donald Trump is the one doing something wrong, not
- 6:33Speaker 3: the mayor who said that we should get the Ice
- 6:37Speaker 3: Agency f out of his city, or the governor who
- 6:41Speaker 3: said it's civil war. And let's also be clear, why
- 6:45Speaker 3: are they saying that, Because billions of dollars have been
- 6:48Speaker 3: coming into their state and have been disappearing through corruption, fraud,
- 6:53Speaker 3: and much of the money actually going directly to terrorist
- 6:56Speaker 3: organizations like al Shabab. There is a massive in the
- 7:01Speaker 3: entire state and they don't want the federal government there
- 7:04Speaker 3: trying to clean it up. So CNN says, yeah, we'll
- 7:08Speaker 3: give you cover to that, no problem.
- 7:10Speaker 5: I've confirmed that the Justice Department is investigating Minnesota Governor
- 7:14Speaker 5: Tim Wallas and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye. A source familiar
- 7:18Speaker 5: has told me that that confirms what was reported earlier
- 7:21Speaker 5: by CBS, and essentially, Jake, as we're still trying to
- 7:24Speaker 5: figure out what exactly the contours of this investigation are,
- 7:28Speaker 5: we have a pretty good idea so far. And we
- 7:30Speaker 5: heard from the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch earlier this
- 7:33Speaker 5: week after we had heard these comments from Mayor fry
- 7:36Speaker 5: from Governor Walls following the shooting of a woman by
- 7:39Speaker 5: an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Earlier this week, Todd Blanche
- 7:43Speaker 5: was saying that ICE operates in a bunch of different
- 7:45Speaker 5: counties without incidents going on. He referred to what's happening
- 7:49Speaker 5: in Minnesota as an insurrection and said it's the direct
- 7:51Speaker 5: result of a failed governor and an all caps terrible
- 7:55Speaker 5: mayor who he accused of encouraging violence against law enforcement,
- 7:59Speaker 5: something that Todd Blanch called discussing, and he said, I'm
- 8:01Speaker 5: focused on stopping you from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. So, Jake,
- 8:06Speaker 5: I think that gives us a pretty good sense of
- 8:08Speaker 5: what exactly it is that the Justice Department is at
- 8:10Speaker 5: least trying to base this investigation off of where it goes.
- 8:13Speaker 5: It's not really clear right now, but this does come
- 8:16Speaker 5: as the FBI director and the Deputy Attorney General we're
- 8:19Speaker 5: seen in Minneapolis today as they've been surging law enforcement
- 8:22Speaker 5: to the area, as those tensions have only continued since
- 8:25Speaker 5: the shooting of Renee Good. But it does show you, Jake,
- 8:28Speaker 5: who the Justice Department is focusing their targets on when
- 8:31Speaker 5: it comes to the aftermath of the shooting of Renee
- 8:35Speaker 5: Good here and right now, it is the Minnesota Governor
- 8:37Speaker 5: Tim Walls and the mayor here, both of whom have
- 8:40Speaker 5: been criticized by multiple White House officials for their comments,
- 8:43Speaker 5: including Mayor Fry telling Ice to get the f out
- 8:45Speaker 5: of Minneapolis the day that she was killed, and Governor
- 8:49Speaker 5: Wallas as well making multiple public comments talking about the
- 8:52Speaker 5: massive federal presence in their state. And so now it's
- 8:56Speaker 5: an investigation by the Justice Department. It's not clear, Jake,
- 9:00Speaker 5: that either of them have actually been served subpoenas as
- 9:03Speaker 5: a result of this. And where this is going to go.
- 9:05Speaker 5: It seems to be in the very early stages of
- 9:07Speaker 5: whatever investigation this is, but that is what we have
- 9:11Speaker 5: learned so far, Jake.
- 9:12Speaker 3: You notice there they didn't talk about the actual problems
- 9:16Speaker 3: in Minnesota. They did not talk about the fraud. They
- 9:18Speaker 3: didn't talk about the millions that turn into billions of
- 9:22Speaker 3: dollars that have gone missing from the taxpayers. No, No, Instead,
- 9:26Speaker 3: what did they do there? They made up a totally
- 9:29Speaker 3: different issue, and that was some sort of retaliation or
- 9:33Speaker 3: retribution as they described it for a Trump administration they
- 9:37Speaker 3: claim is angry. Yes, the Trump administration, by the way,
- 9:40Speaker 3: is angry either angry that billions of dollars of our
- 9:43Speaker 3: tax dollars have gone missing in corruption and fraud that
- 9:46Speaker 3: the governor and the mayor looked the other way on purpose,
- 9:50Speaker 3: which brings us back to Christino and what she had
- 9:54Speaker 3: to say on Monday. The federal authorities have not only
- 9:57Speaker 3: arrested more than ten thousand criminal legal alans in Minneapolis,
- 10:01Speaker 3: but she added that investigators have opened what she described
- 10:04Speaker 3: as that sweeping fraud probe totally at least nineteen billion,
- 10:10Speaker 3: and then explaining it very clearly, this is at the
- 10:13Speaker 3: government's footsteps. This is a defeat of the governor of
- 10:18Speaker 3: Minnesota and the mayor of Minneapolis. She also made it
- 10:22Speaker 3: clear that the worst, the worst are who they're targeting
- 10:25Speaker 3: in Minnesota, and we are finding the rapists, the child
- 10:28Speaker 3: sex offenders, the violent criminals, the murderers. Gno I writing
- 10:32Speaker 3: this peace and public safety in Minneapolis. We have arrested
- 10:37Speaker 3: over ten thousand criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans,
- 10:42Speaker 3: hurting children, and raiding terror in Minneapolis because Tim Wall
- 10:45Speaker 3: Jacob Frye refused to protect their own people and instead
- 10:49Speaker 3: protect criminals. Nome continued, in the last six weeks, our
- 10:53Speaker 3: brave Department of Homeland Security law enforcement have arrested three
- 10:57Speaker 3: thousand criminal illegal aliens and putting vicious murderers, rapist, child pedophiles,
- 11:03Speaker 3: and incredibly dangerous individuals, a huge victory for public safety.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Gnoam also alleged massive fraud in her own words, totally
- 11:12Speaker 3: as she described it, at least nineteen billion, and said
- 11:16Speaker 3: Home in Security investigation agents were conducting large scale investigations
- 11:21Speaker 3: aimed at recovering money and holding those responsible accountable. Known,
- 11:26Speaker 3: by the way, did not provide any details outside of that.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Why well, of course, because she doesn't want the criminals
- 11:33Speaker 3: to know what we're actually doing. But what she did
- 11:35Speaker 3: say was this, there is massive fraud in Minneapolis, at
- 11:38Speaker 3: least nineteen billion, and that's just the tip of the Iceberg,
- 11:42Speaker 3: our home insecurity investigators are on the ground in Minneapolis
- 11:45Speaker 3: conducting wide scale investigations to get justice for the American
- 11:49Speaker 3: people who have been robbed blind. Now you notice she
- 11:52Speaker 3: didn't say Minnesota. She said nineteen billion in Minneapolis, one
- 11:57Speaker 3: single city in America, by the way, not releasing records, names,
- 12:03Speaker 3: or other details. Why because of course they don't want
- 12:07Speaker 3: to help the criminals know what's coming. Now. We also
- 12:10Speaker 3: know that the Justice Department is investigating whether walt and
- 12:13Speaker 3: Fry impeded federal immigration enforcement through public statements. According to
- 12:18Speaker 3: people familiar with that investigation, both Waltz and Fry have
- 12:23Speaker 3: criticized the investigation, and of course, as you heard from
- 12:26Speaker 3: CNN earlier, they're describing it as an intimidation tactic. No,
- 12:30Speaker 3: it's an actual massive investigation. One other thing that's also
- 12:35Speaker 3: really interesting is a federal judge in Minneapolis has barred
- 12:38Speaker 3: DHS agents from arresting what they describe as peaceful protesters
- 12:43Speaker 3: who are not suspected of crimes or obstructing officers after
- 12:48Speaker 3: residents alleged violations of their constitucial rights while observing or
- 12:52Speaker 3: protesting immigration raids. NOMES fraud allegations also arrive against the
- 12:58Speaker 3: backdrop of Minnesota's law running Feeding Our Future case high
- 13:03Speaker 3: profile federal investigation tied to pandemic era child nutrition programs.
- 13:09Speaker 3: What we know about this is shocking. Minnesota's Office of
- 13:12Speaker 3: the Legislative Auditor summarized that the US Department of Justice
- 13:16Speaker 3: has now charged not ten, not twenty, not thirty, not forty,
- 13:20Speaker 3: not fifty, not sixty, but seventy individuals between September of
- 13:25Speaker 3: twenty twenty two and February of twenty twenty four in
- 13:28Speaker 3: connection with US suspected two hundred and fifty million dollars
- 13:34Speaker 3: scheme involving federally funded nutrition programs, and said the alleged
- 13:39Speaker 3: fraud centered on the Minnesota nonprofit Feeding Our Future. Waltz's
- 13:45Speaker 3: office previously said it had not received notice of the
- 13:49Speaker 3: Justice Department's investigation, while Fry said the probe appears aimed
- 13:55Speaker 3: at just intimidating him for opposing what he called dangerous
- 13:58Speaker 3: federal actions in his city. One thing is for sure,
- 14:03Speaker 3: the Trump administration is not backing down, and because of
- 14:07Speaker 3: President Trump's leadership, others are doing their jobs the way
- 14:11Speaker 3: they're supposed to. That includes Christy Nome, the FBI, and
- 14:16Speaker 3: Cashpartel and many others who are now going to hold
- 14:19Speaker 3: those accountable in Minnesota for the crimes that they've committed
- 14:23Speaker 3: and that, my friends, is far from quote intimidation, even
- 14:28Speaker 3: if CNN lies to you and says otherwise.
