- 1:43Speaker 1: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the mona.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, You'll think, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me
- 2:07Speaker 2: now one and only. Uh huh. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show. Here you do. Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But like I said the other day, you got something too, though,
- 2:15Speaker 2: don't you. God then done something wonderful for you. You
- 2:18Speaker 2: just got to thank Him for it, you know, in
- 2:21Speaker 2: the midst of all that's going on in my life
- 2:24Speaker 2: and in your life. You know, I always use myself
- 2:27Speaker 2: as an example because well, I mean that way. I
- 2:31Speaker 2: guarantee you one hundred percent I know what I'm talking
- 2:33Speaker 2: about here. Here's the situation, you know, with everything that's
- 2:38Speaker 2: going on in my life and all the things I'm
- 2:40Speaker 2: asking God for in the midst of taxing and a
- 2:47Speaker 2: very trying situation. That's very challenging for me right now. Man,
- 2:52Speaker 2: God just keeps on keeps on surprising me. He keeps
- 2:57Speaker 2: doing things, And I want you to look at your life.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Or for a second, let's make two columns here. Let's
- 3:06Speaker 2: make a column of all the things you want from God.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You know, just do that throughout the course of the day.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You know, you know, run down the list of all
- 3:14Speaker 2: the things you're asking God for, all the things you're
- 3:17Speaker 2: praying for, the things you aspire to, what your dreams,
- 3:21Speaker 2: your visions, whatever it is. Just make a column list
- 3:24Speaker 2: of all those things. Let's make three lists. And then
- 3:28Speaker 2: the second list, I want you to make a list
- 3:31Speaker 2: of everything that you've been asking God for, so I
- 3:37Speaker 2: guess that could be a little bit of the same.
- 3:39Speaker 2: But this third list, I want you to do a
- 3:41Speaker 2: check off point. I want you to do a make
- 3:44Speaker 2: a list of everything that God has given you that
- 3:47Speaker 2: you've asked him for. Just think about it like that
- 3:50Speaker 2: for a second. I maybe explaining a little wrong right now,
- 3:53Speaker 2: but I'm gonna pull it together for you. Make a
- 3:57Speaker 2: list of everything you're asking God for. It's just listed,
- 4:00Speaker 2: you know, It's okay, It's a dream board. You can
- 4:02Speaker 2: call it that I got one. It's a vision board.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You know, everybody's got something you hope for. Make a
- 4:07Speaker 2: list now. I want you to make another list of
- 4:12Speaker 2: everything you've asked God for that he's given you already.
- 4:17Speaker 2: See this is a good list because sometimes and what
- 4:22Speaker 2: I've been guilty of, and maybe you two in my
- 4:26Speaker 2: request list on my dream board. I keep focusing so
- 4:30Speaker 2: hard sometimes on the what I'm yet to receive. I
- 4:35Speaker 2: keep focusing so hard on the what I hope he
- 4:38Speaker 2: gives me. I keep focusing so hard on the things
- 4:42Speaker 2: that I yet not fulfilled in my life that sometimes,
- 4:47Speaker 2: as he starts checking off my wish lists the things
- 4:51Speaker 2: I've asked for in the past that have come to
- 4:54Speaker 2: pass that he's given me, I sometimes, in praying for
- 4:58Speaker 2: what I want forget to thank him for what he's
- 5:02Speaker 2: done for me. And I'm currently in the middle of
- 5:05Speaker 2: that situation. And this morning when I woke up, I really, man,
- 5:09Speaker 2: I just got on my knees this morning and I
- 5:11Speaker 2: quit tripping for a second. I said, Man, hey, God,
- 5:13Speaker 2: you know what I really do need all them things
- 5:17Speaker 2: I'm asking for, and I'm really am believing that You're
- 5:19Speaker 2: gonna give it to me. But in the meantime, though, Man,
- 5:23Speaker 2: have I overlooked some important details here? I had to
- 5:27Speaker 2: really look at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
- 5:31Speaker 2: take yourself out of it personally and look, well, you
- 5:34Speaker 2: can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Some people can't do that, So just leave yourself in it. Then.
- 5:39Speaker 2: But man, I started looking at the eye part of me,
- 5:42Speaker 2: and I started looking around at what's happening overall. Like, man,
- 5:46Speaker 2: he has kept my family together and in spite of
- 5:50Speaker 2: the attempts to tear it apart. I look at all
- 5:52Speaker 2: of that. I look at how he's blessing my children
- 5:55Speaker 2: with the desires of their heart, which I pray for
- 5:57Speaker 2: my kids. You know, I want my kids to have
- 6:00Speaker 2: a better life than I've had. I really really do.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I don't want them to take as long as it
- 6:05Speaker 2: took me to get it together. I really really don't.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm trying to say, hey, man, if you go to college,
- 6:10Speaker 2: this is what you can be. Don't do like your
- 6:12Speaker 2: father did. Don't go three years drop I'll throw yourself
- 6:14Speaker 2: into a spiral. And then got to start to scratch
- 6:17Speaker 2: all over again, you know, And for the most part
- 6:20Speaker 2: so far, you know, they're doing quite well of it,
- 6:24Speaker 2: you know. You know, they're getting kicked around a little bit,
- 6:26Speaker 2: but that's life. I started thinking of the blessings that
- 6:29Speaker 2: he's helped me overcome with some of the previous mistakes
- 6:34Speaker 2: I've made in relationships in my life. And then I
- 6:38Speaker 2: started looking about the things he's blessed me with that
- 6:41Speaker 2: I've been asking him for. But since I've moved on
- 6:43Speaker 2: from it, I forgot to keep thinking because I got
- 6:47Speaker 2: to always thank God for a roof over my head
- 6:49Speaker 2: because guess what, when I was asking for the roof
- 6:52Speaker 2: and I didn't really have it, then he gave me one. Now,
- 6:54Speaker 2: since he gave it to me, what, I'm just cool
- 6:56Speaker 2: now I can't ever go back to him and go, hey, man,
- 6:59Speaker 2: I really do appreciate this roof over my head because
- 7:02Speaker 2: that was a time when I was living in a car.
- 7:04Speaker 2: But see, so every morning I wake up, I gotta
- 7:06Speaker 2: remember the fact that I have a home now, because
- 7:09Speaker 2: I got to look back and go, man, that was time, Steve,
- 7:12Speaker 2: when you didn't have no home. But see, we forget
- 7:15Speaker 2: what God has done for us because in our column,
- 7:19Speaker 2: the won't column, the need column, we oftentimes forget for
- 7:24Speaker 2: the columns and the check marks that He's already fulfilled
- 7:28Speaker 2: in our life. You've got to take inventory every now
- 7:32Speaker 2: and then daily if possible. But I know we're humans.
- 7:35Speaker 2: We're not gonna do that. I don't. But you've got
- 7:38Speaker 2: to take inventory of your life to say, hey, what
- 7:43Speaker 2: has God done for me?
- 7:45Speaker 3: You know?
- 7:46Speaker 2: And remember something else too. Change is good, but change
- 7:50Speaker 2: is challenging. Accept the challenge that it is. Look a
- 7:55Speaker 2: lot of you come up to me all the time
- 7:57Speaker 2: and say, Steve Man, thank you man, and boy you
- 8:00Speaker 2: in the morning. Man, I really be needing that well,
- 8:03Speaker 2: like honest said it a hundred times, but I'm gonna
- 8:05Speaker 2: say it again, y'all, I be needing it too.
- 8:09Speaker 3: You know.
- 8:09Speaker 2: You understand, sometimes what God is dealing with me is
- 8:14Speaker 2: for me. But now I'm in a sharing position where
- 8:17Speaker 2: I can open up and if I just if I
- 8:20Speaker 2: just quit being so about me and become a little
- 8:23Speaker 2: bit more transparent, I can maybe some of me that's
- 8:26Speaker 2: happening to me is happening to you, and you can
- 8:29Speaker 2: see some of this in me. That's why I use
- 8:31Speaker 2: myself as an example, because man, I'm catching it too, y'all.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I ain't perfect either. So for those of you that
- 8:38Speaker 2: come up to me and say that I want you
- 8:40Speaker 2: to understand these these talks in the morning. Man, this
- 8:43Speaker 2: is important for me because man, I need these conversations
- 8:48Speaker 2: from God. I need God to continue to strengthen me,
- 8:51Speaker 2: to show me the way to help me understand what's
- 8:55Speaker 2: happening to me. And see, as we've all those of
- 8:58Speaker 2: you who have made the decison to change, to become
- 9:01Speaker 2: a better person, a better woman, a better boy, better girl,
- 9:04Speaker 2: a better man. For those of you who's made the
- 9:06Speaker 2: decision to change, change is a challenge, and accept the
- 9:09Speaker 2: challenge because it's gonna come. Because right out of that,
- 9:12Speaker 2: here come to haters. Here they come people you don't
- 9:15Speaker 2: even know, discussing your life and your change. If God
- 9:19Speaker 2: see you really really mean what you say in spite
- 9:22Speaker 2: of what they say about you, God will raise you
- 9:26Speaker 2: above the freight. He'll keep promoting you, He'll keep blessing you,
- 9:30Speaker 2: He'll keep moving you up. He will use you as
- 9:34Speaker 2: a show off point. He'll show you off man. He'll
- 9:38Speaker 2: he'll make you look good to people man who wish
- 9:41Speaker 2: you'd fall all day long, and so to all your haters,
- 9:44Speaker 2: all your haters will end up just watching you rise man,
- 9:47Speaker 2: they will watch you continue to grow. That's what God
- 9:50Speaker 2: will do for you.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Man.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
- 9:54Speaker 2: God know your heart, he know your every thought. Man,
- 9:57Speaker 2: you're listening, Ladies and gentlemen. It's right here, It's right here.
- 10:05Speaker 2: He got here again. He just keeps showing up, he
- 10:09Speaker 2: keeps doing it. Nothing but God, Man, another gift, another opportunity,
- 10:13Speaker 2: another great day, another chance, man to get it right.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I'm on it. I did a good job of getting
- 10:19Speaker 2: it right yesterday. I made some progress and towards furthering
- 10:24Speaker 2: the mission in life, did some stuff on his behalf.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I think I did, anyway, I think I did, and
- 10:34Speaker 2: I was grateful yesterday and so and I existed in
- 10:39Speaker 2: the moment a great deal. That's what I'm doing now.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I live in the moment. I've lost all forms of anxiety.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I'm no longer concerned with my past, and I leave
- 10:55Speaker 2: the future to God. I enjoy his presence more on
- 10:58Speaker 2: a daily basis, and that has helped me greatly give
- 11:03Speaker 2: us this day our daily bread. That's what the Lord's
- 11:06Speaker 2: press says. There's a reason for that, and I'm on it,
- 11:09Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, to Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry
- 11:12Speaker 2: calling for real Mississippi Monica Jr. And the legend that
- 11:15Speaker 2: is Nephew Tommy. Well, you know, well half right, what's
- 11:20Speaker 2: going on today?
- 11:24Speaker 6: Half fright?
- 11:25Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Uh, let me talk you about this.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Uh?
- 11:29Speaker 6: Do you feel you a better Christian today than you
- 11:31Speaker 6: was before?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Like?
- 11:32Speaker 6: Is you the best Christian you possibly could be?
- 11:34Speaker 2: Right now? You bet?
- 11:35Speaker 6: Your best one.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I wouldn't describe it as best ever, that's.
- 11:43Speaker 1: A big word best.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Did you hear the Christian he was yesterday? Yeah, I'm
- 11:51Speaker 2: a Christian junior. I don't really best. Yeah, it's a
- 11:56Speaker 2: lot best now. I'm just I'm on some things better
- 12:02Speaker 2: than I've done before. Like I'm more, I'm more connected
- 12:06Speaker 2: to him now. Oh. I still have a you know,
- 12:12Speaker 2: tendency to you know, va off a little bit, you know,
- 12:17Speaker 2: especially if somebody say something to me. I'm still trying
- 12:21Speaker 2: to work on that. But you know, I think that's
- 12:25Speaker 2: where praying for your enemies come in at, because like,
- 12:30Speaker 2: you know, maybe that's it. I don't know, but you know,
- 12:34Speaker 2: what I've done really well lately though, I've focused on
- 12:38Speaker 2: not allowing people to become enemies. Who keep saying stuff
- 12:42Speaker 2: to me that might try to make me be their enemy.
- 12:46Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. Does that make sense? Like
- 12:50Speaker 2: I'm using to get drug into certain things?
- 12:58Speaker 3: You know?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Sometimes I you know, put my own foot in my
- 13:03Speaker 2: mouth and I just go on the internet over her
- 13:06Speaker 2: own yesterday. I don't really I don't really see what
- 13:13Speaker 2: y'all talking about with that one. That one really good.
- 13:17Speaker 2: I've apologized about that.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That's apologize, but.
- 13:21Speaker 2: You know, you bringing it up again. And Tommy Hood,
- 13:24Speaker 2: you know, he always in the background here, he'd be,
- 13:26Speaker 2: he'd be laying in the bushes, you know, Tommy, that
- 13:28Speaker 2: little boy stay cross the street in the bushes, got
- 13:30Speaker 2: that rock in his hands?
- 13:32Speaker 1: All all right? Coming up in thirty two minutes after
- 13:37Speaker 1: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:39Speaker 1: that prank back from the bushes. We'll find out right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this from the bushes. You're listening.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Morning show.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:50Speaker 1: prank back. Nephew, what you got?
- 13:53Speaker 9: Surely it is that time. This is not the usher board,
- 13:56Speaker 9: This is not the deacon board. This is not the
- 13:58Speaker 9: choir members. As I'm Steve yils to day. This is
- 14:00Speaker 9: not the Senor choir. This is none of those ministries.
- 14:03Speaker 9: This e is the praise dancers. All right, this is
- 14:08Speaker 9: the praise dancers. Get ready to get ready to get ready.
- 14:12Speaker 9: Here they come, all right, cat dog, if you hould hello.
- 14:16Speaker 3: This is the day that the Lord is made. Let
- 14:18Speaker 3: us rejoice and be glad. And how you doing? I'm
- 14:20Speaker 3: looking for u, Tania. This is so Taria. This is
- 14:24Speaker 3: brother Fuller from the church. How are you? Oh, I'm
- 14:27Speaker 3: with my brother for flower you. I'm good, I'm good.
- 14:31Speaker 3: We wanted to give you a call about the about
- 14:34Speaker 3: the praise dancing that's at the church. First of all,
- 14:35Speaker 3: I wanted to really show you how much you're doing
- 14:38Speaker 3: a great job over there with the praise dancers and
- 14:40Speaker 3: you you definitely do a great job on every third.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Tell you that you guys actually perform. Everybody seemed to
- 14:45Speaker 3: really like it. Well, thank you, thank you. What can
- 14:48Speaker 3: I do for you today? There's a bit of a
- 14:49Speaker 3: situation with you know, it's been brought to our attention.
- 14:52Speaker 3: We actually had a small gathering, a little meeting about
- 14:55Speaker 3: it and wanted to I've been elected to actually give
- 14:57Speaker 3: you a call. I'm sorry, who are you kids? Brother Fuller?
- 15:03Speaker 3: Uh huh and and who had a meeting, uh some
- 15:07Speaker 3: of the brothers at the church, and uh passed to
- 15:09Speaker 3: actually sat in for a moment on it. And I
- 15:12Speaker 3: was actually elected to actually just give you a call.
- 15:13Speaker 3: And nothing that I don't think we can't get rectified
- 15:17Speaker 3: and and and you know, move on smoothly as we
- 15:19Speaker 3: normally do. But I just think it's we wanted to
- 15:22Speaker 3: reach out to you and kind of make you aware
- 15:23Speaker 3: of it. If it's if you don't mind, okay? And
- 15:28Speaker 3: what things are those? Well, sister tell you, has any
- 15:32Speaker 3: of the praise dancers before they became praise dancers?
- 15:36Speaker 8: Was?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Was? Was any of them strippers?
- 15:41Speaker 10: I beg your pardon.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Was any of the praise dancers that at the church
- 15:46Speaker 3: that you have on the praise team right now? Was
- 15:49Speaker 3: any of them strippers in the past? I'm sorry, sir,
- 15:52Speaker 3: I don't I don't really know who you are, and
- 15:55Speaker 3: I don't really understand this line of questions. Like I said,
- 15:58Speaker 3: I'm brother Fuller, I don't think we've met. But like
- 16:00Speaker 3: I said, I've been elected to give you a call.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Now it's saying what happened is this past week when
- 16:06Speaker 3: you all actually danced, it seemed like a couple of
- 16:10Speaker 3: the girls was actually gi rating during the praise routine.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Say what gyrating? Brother pullow? I don't know who you are,
- 16:17Speaker 3: and I don't know what you saw. None of my
- 16:20Speaker 3: girls with gy rating, they would dancing for the Lord.
- 16:23Speaker 3: And I think if you look through your lord's eye,
- 16:25Speaker 3: perhaps you would see them better instead of maybe you
- 16:28Speaker 3: were looking through the girating eye. No, see a couple
- 16:31Speaker 3: of the girls. We can pull them out. A couple
- 16:32Speaker 3: of them half stript girl tendencies up and then because
- 16:36Speaker 3: some of them have been doing tristrimp girl's tendencies. You
- 16:40Speaker 3: know what, sir, I think we need to complete this call.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Perhaps I need to call Bishop to speak to him myself,
- 16:46Speaker 3: because you know, I don't know what you do all day,
- 16:48Speaker 3: but I have a real job and I'm sitting here
- 16:50Speaker 3: holding the conversation in my office about gy rating strippers
- 16:53Speaker 3: in the church. Are you kidding me? Well, listen, now,
- 16:56Speaker 3: here's a couple other things that they're talking about. Some
- 16:59Speaker 3: of the girls feet or real ask you when you
- 17:01Speaker 3: all are performing and they want to see it, maybe
- 17:04Speaker 3: you can you can. I don't know. Maybe I don't
- 17:06Speaker 3: know if y'all need to grip or whatever. That y'all
- 17:08Speaker 3: don't y'all don't put lotion on it. We're not sure
- 17:11Speaker 3: what that is. As well as the totalail pology. Everybody
- 17:15Speaker 3: has three, four, five different designs and everything is it?
- 17:19Speaker 3: Any Way, y'all can be in unison with your totnail pology.
- 17:22Speaker 3: But the most important thing give the jib rating doing
- 17:25Speaker 3: the dance routine. I don't know what your feet look like.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I don't need you calling me talking to me about
- 17:30Speaker 3: my girls, their feet, their nail polished. Perhaps your mask
- 17:33Speaker 3: should be on Jesus instead of on them. How about that? Oh?
- 17:38Speaker 3: From my mind, I don't have time. I don't have
- 17:40Speaker 3: time to be on Jesus when somebody's shaking the butt
- 17:44Speaker 3: at the church. Now that's the problem, you know what. Look,
- 17:47Speaker 3: I'm at work now, I'm trying to keep a work tone.
- 17:50Speaker 3: You're gonna make me curse up here, head and let
- 17:51Speaker 3: me tell you something. Don't call me anymore. I will
- 17:54Speaker 3: deal with pastor. If he has something to say with me,
- 17:56Speaker 3: he can say it to me personally. But I'm done
- 17:58Speaker 3: with this conversation. Are you gonna deal with the gy rating?
- 18:01Speaker 3: Is what we want to know? Maybe you know what?
- 18:04Speaker 3: It just hit me maybe you one of the ones
- 18:07Speaker 3: that's doing the giant rate. Look, let me tell you something.
- 18:09Speaker 3: My girls ain't doing no jot rating, and neither am I.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Now I am done with this conversation. Do you understand you?
- 18:14Speaker 10: But listen, I'm done?
- 18:16Speaker 3: Are you done with this? All right? Raton? That's what
- 18:18Speaker 3: we want to stop so we can We can't praise
- 18:20Speaker 3: the Lord if the booty is to shake. You know what? Shirt? Look,
- 18:24Speaker 3: I gotta go to work. I gotta go now again.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I don't know what your issue is. It sounds to
- 18:29Speaker 3: me like you have an issue with gy rating booties.
- 18:32Speaker 3: I I heard so much joy rating booty than one

- 31:35Speaker 8: you see folks who are younger than you that are
- 31:38Speaker 8: not here anymore, You're getting a little grateful, you know.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Amen. Yes, well true London thirteenth albums, and you named
- 31:47Speaker 2: the album Sunny Days. The new single is called church Doors.
- 31:52Speaker 2: We're gonna hear live this morning, set it up for us.
- 31:56Speaker 8: Church Doors is a single that's written by mister Donald
- 32:00Speaker 8: Aren't and Stir the Baptist. And you know how we believe.
- 32:04Speaker 8: We know that church doors can be different things to
- 32:07Speaker 8: different people. Sometimes the church door is this big cathedral.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Sometimes it's a one room church. But wherever the church is,
- 32:16Speaker 8: and we know we are the church, we can open
- 32:19Speaker 8: those doors and tell people, give them my testimony, and
- 32:22Speaker 8: tell them how good God's been all right.
- 32:24Speaker 2: That's true.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Well call it.
- 32:26Speaker 2: You want to play it, now, let's do it.
- 32:30Speaker 4: I heard your spirits say, girl, you're not You ain't
- 32:39Speaker 4: seen nothing yet because the best is yet to come.
- 32:46Speaker 4: When you let me make it to the church old,
- 32:50Speaker 4: I'll tell them when you jum me some stories to
- 32:56Speaker 4: tell contest.
- 32:58Speaker 1: The ponies, that will do them. How you always look
- 33:03Speaker 1: up for me your kids, says a royalty.
- 33:11Speaker 7: Every time i'm megan to the churchyards, I'll tell them
- 33:15Speaker 7: what you've done that bom me tell them, tell them,
- 33:25Speaker 7: tell them, I'll tell them all the things.
- 33:34Speaker 1: When you let me meg it to the church doors,
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'll tell them what you done for the kiss them,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I tell them.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Tell you the tell me there.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Can't tell the change. I'll tell them when.
- 34:03Speaker 2: You tell me.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I want to tell you somebody, how you me.
- 34:20Speaker 3: You can how can say?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Excuse sell the.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Tell me?
- 34:51Speaker 5: Tell me?
- 34:53Speaker 2: Is he good?
- 34:54Speaker 3: God s.
- 35:03Speaker 1: The time I get to the church.
- 35:09Speaker 2: For me, Hello, there might be one today showing out.
- 35:20Speaker 2: That's what you do. That's Houston. That that's gospel music.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Yes it is. I get to the church doors, I'm
- 35:28Speaker 2: gonna tell her what you've done for me? What that's
- 35:33Speaker 2: that's the gospel song right there, and let me say
- 35:35Speaker 2: this folk before we go any further. All y'all praise
- 35:38Speaker 2: dance teams out there, please don't do nothing to this one.
- 35:41Speaker 2: He don't be jumping in no water and splashing on
- 35:48Speaker 2: people that get no flat. Just leave us one alone
- 35:52Speaker 2: right here. Boy, you gotta stop that. Just stip the
- 35:59Speaker 2: list just right up there with take me to the King,
- 36:02Speaker 2: lead them to after this.
- 36:11Speaker 1: You're listening Morning Show.
- 36:14Speaker 2: All right, We're back, everybody in our special guests. This
- 36:16Speaker 2: this morning is our family member, the legendary first lady
- 36:20Speaker 2: of modern gospel, the one and only Yolanda Adams Church Doors.
- 36:24Speaker 2: It's a new single and we just played it. Man,
- 36:27Speaker 2: this girl right here. Man, but you know this is
- 36:32Speaker 2: this is gospel music, you know. You know sometimes man,
- 36:35Speaker 2: like I tell I tell people all the time, you know,
- 36:38Speaker 2: like I love music, right, but what I want to
- 36:42Speaker 2: hear gospel music?
- 36:43Speaker 5: I want.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I want to hear something I want to hear some day.
- 36:47Speaker 2: You know, I don't want a club cut. I'm in trouble.
- 36:53Speaker 2: You already know that I stay in trouble. Now what
- 36:57Speaker 2: I need I need? I need something like that, you know,
- 37:00Speaker 2: a real gospel song to make you feel some what
- 37:03Speaker 2: what right? What was the inspiration behind the song? You learn?
- 37:08Speaker 8: Well, you know, we live in a society and a
- 37:11Speaker 8: world right now where everybody is so tense and they're
- 37:14Speaker 8: on edge, and you know, they don't know what to
- 37:17Speaker 8: say politically, they don't know what to say socially. And
- 37:21Speaker 8: I just told Donald and Sir the Baptist that I
- 37:26Speaker 8: wanted to make a song that was so obvious about
- 37:34Speaker 8: our testimony and what God has brought us out of
- 37:37Speaker 8: and what God keeps us from and and how we
- 37:41Speaker 8: you know, as the body of Christ, we are actually
- 37:44Speaker 8: the Church ourselves. And so it's not just physical church doors,
- 37:49Speaker 8: because church doors can mean anything to everybody, you know,
- 37:54Speaker 8: you know, like you're overseas and church doors mean something
- 37:58Speaker 8: different to you and your morning meditation where it'll mean
- 38:02Speaker 8: something different to me. But we all have, you know, symbolically,
- 38:07Speaker 8: the opportunity to open our church doors, which is our mouths,
- 38:11Speaker 8: and testify to the goodness of God. And that's what
- 38:14Speaker 8: I wanted. I wanted to start off strong with that
- 38:17Speaker 8: because the project has so many amazing singles on it.
- 38:22Speaker 8: I have to be true to my roots, true to
- 38:25Speaker 8: my faith. And you know, when you start testifying just
- 38:29Speaker 8: like you know we as those of us who you know,
- 38:34Speaker 8: all of us have been in church.
- 38:35Speaker 10: God is good all the time.
- 38:36Speaker 8: You know that call and response kind of things. So
- 38:39Speaker 8: when you start testifying about the goodness of God, it
- 38:42Speaker 8: just it just catches on, and then you know, the
- 38:44Speaker 8: fire goes all around, and then you feel better than
- 38:48Speaker 8: when you came in.

- 39:35Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve Harvey, I
- 39:41Speaker 1: need you to sit up and perk up for this one.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Who knew?
- 39:44Speaker 9: Now?
- 39:45Speaker 1: This is according to Deadline you, Steve Harvey, your upcoming biopic.
- 39:50Speaker 1: It's called seventy two. Uh huh. It is in early
- 39:54Speaker 1: development with the media company Objectively Good Media otherwise known
- 39:58Speaker 1: as OGM. Now seventy two. The movie is set to
- 40:02Speaker 1: cover the transformative seventy two hour period that led to
- 40:06Speaker 1: your career defining performance at the Apollo Theater in nineteen
- 40:10Speaker 1: ninety three, Steve, The film will give viewers a look
- 40:13Speaker 1: into the obstacles you face before lending your career in entertainment.
- 40:18Speaker 1: In these seventy two hours, Steve quit your sales job
- 40:22Speaker 1: at twenty six. Of course, I'm not telling you anything
- 40:24Speaker 1: you don't know, but for the people our audience, you
- 40:26Speaker 1: quit your sales job at seventy two to pursue comedy
- 40:30Speaker 1: and transformed into the comedian that we know today. You
- 40:34Speaker 1: released a statement to Deadline, Steve saying, You've been reluctant
- 40:37Speaker 1: to make a movie about your life for years because
- 40:40Speaker 1: we've often asked you, why don't you do a story
- 40:44Speaker 1: about your work? But then you read the pitch for
- 40:47Speaker 1: seventy two, and it focuses on one of the most
- 40:49Speaker 1: difficult moments in your journey and your career, and it
- 40:51Speaker 1: shows the world that hope is never truly lost. Wait
- 40:56Speaker 1: until you see what we do with this, gooss, mister Harper.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Well, it's based on a seventy two hour period from
- 41:07Speaker 2: the time I was about to quit, from the time
- 41:10Speaker 2: when I appeared on showtime at the Apollom. It's focused
- 41:15Speaker 2: on a seventy two hour period.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Not your entire life, but just like those three days.
- 41:22Speaker 2: But you know, it's interesting about stuff like this because,
- 41:25Speaker 2: like the reason I don't talk about stuff like this
- 41:28Speaker 2: because it's so far from actually going down. You know
- 41:32Speaker 2: how people go, I got this movie coming out, Well,
- 41:35Speaker 2: you know it's that in development. Yeah, so you know
- 41:42Speaker 2: I have learned. Until it's finished, Yeah, until it's finished
- 41:47Speaker 2: and got some distribution, I really don't bring it up.
- 41:50Speaker 2: So I'm not that, you know what I mean, because
- 41:54Speaker 2: I have a couple of things. I have also something
- 41:58Speaker 2: I'm working on for a real biopic, the whole story,
- 42:02Speaker 2: all of it, all of it, and I've been in
- 42:06Speaker 2: conversations with that for several months now, and that that
- 42:11Speaker 2: looks like it could happen. So we just have to
- 42:13Speaker 2: wait and see. It's basically what I'm saying, but I
- 42:16Speaker 2: don't That's why I don't post stuff like that. When
- 42:18Speaker 2: I saw it come out, I went, I grimaced a
- 42:22Speaker 2: little bit because you know, because it's everywhere.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Well, I mean suffice it to say that one day
- 42:30Speaker 1: your life story movie will come out. Whether you know
- 42:34Speaker 1: what I'm but.
- 42:35Speaker 2: You know, I want it to be more of a
- 42:38Speaker 2: it's not for money, it's it's more of a for
- 42:41Speaker 2: legacy play because I know for a fact that the
- 42:46Speaker 2: truth has never been told. I know for a fact,
- 42:50Speaker 2: I mean the whole truth, the really really all of it. No, no, nobody,
- 42:56Speaker 2: nobody has listened to that part of it. And for me,
- 43:00Speaker 2: it's been like an amazing story of grace and favor
- 43:06Speaker 2: and it's about it's about anybody can come from anywhere,
- 43:11Speaker 2: no matter how low or how far you've fallen, and
- 43:15Speaker 2: there's a chance for you. That's the real story.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Yeah, never give up. But this is exciting.
- 43:24Speaker 2: So who play you?
- 43:25Speaker 6: Who play you in the movie?
- 43:27Speaker 2: How the hell?
- 43:27Speaker 3: I know?
- 43:28Speaker 2: Like I said, it's in development. So what you call
- 43:31Speaker 2: me and said, do I need to take some acting lessons?
- 43:33Speaker 2: So I'm gonna do.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Like the movie.
- 43:42Speaker 6: So time, we don't get the wrong you don't get.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Look, you know all the time.
- 43:48Speaker 1: What happened in the movies.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Tall everybody in the movies.
- 43:56Speaker 3: You know that.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Everyone looks tall in the movie all movies sorts, not if.
- 44:02Speaker 2: You're standing next to a really tall But we all
- 44:07Speaker 2: can't be on.
- 44:08Speaker 9: Apple Creates now, all right, lot, I can't.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Wait to see it.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is the nephew and the prank
- 44:18Speaker 1: phone call for today. Right after this you're listening morning
- 44:23Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, right

- 54:15Speaker 2: it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:17Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject he was sleep on the back seat.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I got a call that my husband
- 54:23Speaker 1: was sleep in his car behind the bar that he
- 54:26Speaker 1: goes to on Friday nights after work. I pulled up
- 54:29Speaker 1: on him there and he was asleep in the back
- 54:31Speaker 1: seat with the windows cracked. His pants were unbuttoned and
- 54:35Speaker 1: his shoes were off. I tapped on the window and
- 54:38Speaker 1: he did not budge, so I hit the button to
- 54:41Speaker 1: unlock the car. Then he jumped up and screamed. I
- 54:45Speaker 1: told him to get out of the car, but he
- 54:47Speaker 1: refused to. He said that he did not know how
- 54:50Speaker 1: he got there, so I should leave because it was
- 54:53Speaker 1: not safe for me to be there. I told him
- 54:55Speaker 1: I wasn't going anywhere until he got out of the car.
- 54:58Speaker 1: He sat up and put a shoe was on, but
- 55:00Speaker 1: still wouldn't get out. I closed the car door and
- 55:03Speaker 1: went and sat in my car. He started texting somebody,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and out of the corner of my eye, I saw
- 55:09Speaker 1: a white lady approaching his car and then suddenly turn around.
- 55:13Speaker 1: At that same time, yeah, uh huh. At that same time,
- 55:17Speaker 1: my girlfriend called me and said she was parked in
- 55:19Speaker 1: the back and had her eyes on me in case
- 55:22Speaker 1: I needed her help. I was so clueless, so she
- 55:25Speaker 1: explained that she thinks my husband was about to get
- 55:28Speaker 1: it on with the white woman in his back seat.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I hung up, and I went inside and found the
- 55:32Speaker 1: white woman. She said she was going to have security
- 55:35Speaker 1: escort me out because I was dead wrong about her
- 55:39Speaker 1: wanting to be with my husband. When I got back
- 55:41Speaker 1: outside to my car, my husband was gone. He was
- 55:46Speaker 1: home in the bed when I got there. He said
- 55:48Speaker 1: he left to avoid conflict. He told me that he
- 55:52Speaker 1: was very disappointed that I pulled that stune and he
- 55:54Speaker 1: was only trying to sleep off the liquor before he
- 55:57Speaker 1: drove home. Does my friend's story sound right to you?
- 56:00Speaker 1: Or does my husband's story sound right to you? This
- 56:04Speaker 1: all sounds crazy to me. From your husband in the
- 56:06Speaker 1: back seat and him telling you to go home because
- 56:09Speaker 1: it's not safe for you to him, then leaving you
- 56:12Speaker 1: there and going home to, in his words, avoid conflict.
- 56:15Speaker 1: I thought it wasn't safe for him to leave you there.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Everyone in this letter is suspect except you, your husband.
- 56:22Speaker 1: This mysterious white woman who threatened to call security on you,
- 56:26Speaker 1: by the way, why was she walking to your husband's
- 56:28Speaker 1: car and turned around when she saw you? Your friend
- 56:32Speaker 1: called from out of the background somewhere and startled you,
- 56:35Speaker 1: And why was she there spying on your husband? Anyway?
- 56:38Speaker 1: What is going on here? I wouldn't trust any of
- 56:41Speaker 1: their stories, but your husband is the only one who
- 56:43Speaker 1: owes you an explanation because you're married to him, and
- 56:47Speaker 1: you know you won't get the truth out of him.
- 56:49Speaker 1: I mean, because if he was just there trying to
- 56:52Speaker 1: sleep off the liquor, why didn't he let you in
- 56:55Speaker 1: his car? And why was the white woman coming his
- 56:57Speaker 1: way until she saw you. No one can make any
- 57:01Speaker 1: of this make sense, And I can't believe he just
- 57:03Speaker 1: left you there. I mean, what kind of husband does this?
- 57:06Speaker 2: Steve make me proud? Though, I'm so concerned about this
- 57:18Speaker 2: entire letter. I've never seen so much stuff go wrong
- 57:23Speaker 2: that I can't write.
- 57:27Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 57:27Speaker 2: I just want to say to anybody out there that's
- 57:30Speaker 2: hanging on to me for hope with this letter right here,
- 57:33Speaker 2: let it go, Let it go, give up all hope.
- 57:36Speaker 2: O this right help him. I can't help you. This
- 57:41Speaker 2: is so wrong on so many damn levels. I got
- 57:47Speaker 2: a call that my husband would sleep in his car
- 57:50Speaker 2: behind the bar that he goes to on Friday nights
- 57:53Speaker 2: after work. Now, let's step this letter right here. She
- 57:57Speaker 2: got a call from who now that must be her friend,
- 58:02Speaker 2: Her friend who called that. That's kind of crazy. Right there.
- 58:07Speaker 2: I pulled up on him and he would sleep in
- 58:09Speaker 2: the back seat with the windows cracked. His pants were
- 58:14Speaker 2: unbuttoned and his shoes were off. You mean his pants
- 58:20Speaker 2: was unbuttoned at the top and they was unzipped, or
- 58:25Speaker 2: he had on fly button front pants. That ain't what
- 58:29Speaker 2: you wear when you're finsha do something in the back seat.
- 58:32Speaker 2: You don't wear button fly pants. I can just tell
- 58:35Speaker 2: you that right now. It's too hard. You can't even
- 58:37Speaker 2: have to go to the bathroom real fast because a
- 58:40Speaker 2: lot of times the button holes ain't been worked a lot,
- 58:42Speaker 2: and it's hard to get them off, and you can
- 58:45Speaker 2: peel on yourself. I'm just you you want to throw
- 58:50Speaker 2: out now. He was sleeping in the back seat with
- 58:53Speaker 2: the windows cracked, his pants was unbuttoned, and his shoes
- 58:56Speaker 2: were off. I tapped on the window. He didn't budge,
- 59:01Speaker 2: so I hit the button to unlock the car. Then
- 59:04Speaker 2: he jumped up and screamed. I told him get out
- 59:07Speaker 2: the car, but he refused to Wait. Wait a minute, dogg,
- 59:12Speaker 2: what you tapped on the window?
- 59:16Speaker 1: Yes, that's what I wanted.
- 59:19Speaker 2: What scream? It's several scripts? Uh that one? That one
- 59:26Speaker 2: don't work?
- 59:28Speaker 3: Oh that one?
- 59:31Speaker 2: So he had to let out a blood curtain JiTT
- 59:35Speaker 2: you know, Freddy Krueger type chainsaw massacre. He jumped up
- 59:44Speaker 2: and scream. I told him to get out the car,
- 59:46Speaker 2: but he refused to. He said he didn't know how
- 59:50Speaker 2: he got there. Now it's starting to shape pretty good
- 59:53Speaker 2: from the right here. I like that angle right here.
- 59:56Speaker 2: I don't know how I got here. But he didn't
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: finished a lie. See that was the only time he
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: had an out. I don't know how I got here.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: I'm drunk. He should have stayed right there, but he
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: did too much non drunk stuff. I can't really help
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: this man, and when we come back, I'm just gonna
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: dig the whole deeper for him. I try, but there's
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: a white woman involved, so I really can't be able.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: I can't help your stuff, white lady, This white lady
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: that missed it up for you, Piper, I can't.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of your response coming up,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Steve at twenty three minutes after today's subject of this
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Strawberry letter was he was sleep on the back seat.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: morning show. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: strawberry letter. The subject he was sleep on the back seat.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Lady got a call that her husband was behind the
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: bar he go to on Fridays at the work. So
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: you drove down there. He was sleep on the back seat.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: The windows was cracked, his pants was unbuttoned, and his
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: shoes was off. I tapped on the window, he didn't budge,
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: so she reached in and hit the button and unlocked
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: the car. Then he jumped up and screamed. I told
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: him get out the car, but he refused to. Okay,
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: so now he trying to hold a position. I'm not
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: getting out this car because obviously something if he'd just
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: stood up, would have been telling. So he had to
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: stay seated in this car. He said that he didn't
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: know how he got there. Now that's where it was
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: starting to take shape. I had hope for him, but
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: it died immediately. He said, I don't know how I
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: got back there. Then he said, so I should leave
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: because it's not safe for me to be there. Oh oh, dog,
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: that's where your ass blew it at. You had to lie.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: I don't know how I got back here, but you
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: should leave because it's not safe for you to be here.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: That's the damn near dumbest thing you could have said,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: because you know she ain't Finn leave. What he should
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: have said was I don't know how I got back here.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: Who are you?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Yeah, a Lisia, get away from my door? How damn you?
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: And then that would have fit with the scream. See,
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: but he didn't carry that out. See here that this
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: brother's lies. It's they're not connected. So I wasn't going
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: nowhere until he got out the car. He set up,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: put his shoes on, but he still wouldn't get out
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: the car. I closed the car door and went and
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: set in my car. Why you closed his car door
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: and went and set.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: In your car.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: He started texting somebody, and at the corner of my
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: eye I saw white lady approaching his car and then
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: suddenly turned around. Now, surely you said he turned around
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: when she saw her, but that's not true. She turned
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: around after she got the text, don't come out here.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: My wife is in the car. The white lady saw
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: that as she was approaching the car and turned around.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: Now you can hold strong that you don't know this
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: white lady, but it's damn show coincidental.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Though.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: At that same time, my girlfriend called me and said
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: she was parked in the back and had her eyes
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: on me in case I needed her help. Now, your
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: damn girlfriend is parked in the back because she the
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: one called you and told you your husband was sleep
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Because she at the same bar. She tricky too. The
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: bar is called tricky Time, and everybody down there is tricky. Everybody.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: Your friend is tricky, he tricky, The white girl tricky,
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: it's trick stuff going on at this bar, all right.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I was so clueless, so she explained that she thinks
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: my husband was about was about to get it on
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: with the white woman in his back seat. Let's just
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: say she said he was gonna get it on with
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: the white woman. She said, so then now checked this out.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: I was so clueless, so she explained, she think back seat.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: I hung up.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I went inside this too much?
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: This is.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: You the guy in your car, now you do went
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: inside the bar, found a white woman. Now you already
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: know this didn't happen. She said she was gonna have
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: security escort me out because I was dead wrong about
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: her wanting to be with my husband. You know, white
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: people call the police.
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: You know that.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: White women all ways called the police. Now and the
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: police would have took her side because you didn't even
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: see her talking to your husband. Checked the phone after that,
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: she said, you was dead wrong. When I got back
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: outside to my car, my husband was gone. WHOA so
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: much for you shouldn't be here. It's too dangerous for you.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Now listen to this. He was at home in bed
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: when I got there. That's just too damn fast. Dog.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Ain't nobody believing you done went home, fell asleep that
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: fast after you just got home. She got at hardcore,
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: he said. He left to avoid conflict. He told me
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: he was very disappointed that I pulled that stunt, and
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: he was only trying to sleep off the liquor before
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: he drove home. Does my friend's story sound right to you?
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Or does my husband's story sound right to you? Let
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: me ask you some lady, do anything in this story
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: sound right? He wouldn't get out of the car. His
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: shoes was off. Now I know a lot of drunk
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: ass people. You do, I ain't never seen none of
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: them have to take their shoes off to sober up.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: That is not a requirement. So right now this lie
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: is falling apart. White lady walk into the car, got
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: the text turned around. I can't say she was going
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: to get in the car, but his pants was already
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: unbuttoning and his shoes was off. I think she was
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: coming back from round two if you asked me if
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: the white woman was heading.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: For the car.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: But the whole problem with this letter is it's a
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: white lady in it. You can't get out of this dog.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Post your comments on today, Steve harvem.

- 1:10:36Speaker 1: of the things that he's passionate about. That has most
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: mostly been easy for me. But one of the things
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: that I pretended to like was exercising slash working out.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: And now it's coming back to bite me. I can't
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: stand it. And now he wants me to join a
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: trainer program with him. I'm right on the verge of
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: admitting that I lied, even if it ruins our relationship.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: I can't be training people how to X exercise. How
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: can I get out of this without having to admit
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I faked and lied about my passion for exercising?
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Well, just tell him you don't want to be no trainer? Yeah,
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: you know that ain't what you want to do, you know,
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: And and you just want to go down there and
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: be in just enough shape where you could just stay fit.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: You ain't gotta like I don't like exercise.
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: Hell yeah, I mean she's she's messing with a fitness guru.
- 1:11:26Speaker 9: That's all he do. She got to tell the truth.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: The truth is pretty good. If he's a fitness school
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and triggered it out.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: Yet I'm so sick of y'all people on this show
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: talking about from all of a sudden. Normally, I'll normally
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: with you, But what is she what else she gonna do?
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Dog?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: What is you talking about? The truthful? So she just
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: you lie all on a long and I've heard the
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: morning prank, afternoon prank, you died, from time you wake up? Start?
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: You know, all of a sudden, you're gonna talk about it.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: She got to tell true.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: But I'm thinking she looks pretty good because he can't
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: figure it out all.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Of a sudden. Where that comes from? Run that back?
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: Cat?
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: Was? Was I good?
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: Was you proud of me? It was like everything? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: you lied again.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: My job is lying.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Oh it's crazy him right here at this point, I
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: guess you're supposed to be a trainer, not call it.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: I guess you can't.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Yeah, she can't be a trainer, but she must look
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: really good if she's dating a fitness group. Figure it out.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: She found she showed fun as hell. Yeah, and let
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: me tell you something was fine before they started dating.
- 1:13:02Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Yeah, but she doesn't like to exercise.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: She gotta tell him the truth. Okay, go on, and
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: there's say, what what is she gonna do? I? Lie,
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: I'm not really into phity go.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: And see you think that'll break them up?
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Saying it's gonna break them up? But it's gonna start
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: somewhere y'all?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: What why are we wanting to be that'll break them up?
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: I don't think it's a big deal. How about my
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: back hurt?
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Every time we go to the gym?
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Do these lunges? I'll tell you that you better get
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: in here. Do these lunges going on?
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: So?
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: So, why y'all tripping? You can't help her?
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Oh? Is that.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: On our side? Y'allstruggle? Y'all want her to tell the truth.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: That's gonna lead you a whole lot of stuff. I
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: just said it, Lie, you're back hurt? All right?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: We have another one, Steve. This one is from our
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Blue Eyed Soul Sisters on Reddit. Her name is t
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: and she says, when we were young and just dating,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I was okay with my husband spending a lot of
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: his free time playing video games, skateboarding, or making music
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: with his friends. But we've been married for a decade
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: and we have two kids now, So when can I
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: expect him to grow up and stop wasting all of
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: his time goofing off. He should spend some of his
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: free time relaxing or doing the things he loves. But
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: he has a family now and things that just going
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: to work and earning a paycheck should be enough for us.
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: It's not.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: How do I get him to take his family responsibilities
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: more seriously?
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Well, what'd you're marrying for?
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Because he was doing that.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: He played video games, he make music, and he ride skateboards. Again,
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: it look like a future to you. You heard him
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: saying hear dollars when he was.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: We'll have more of The Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening Harvey
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Morning Show. String an upcoming episode of HBO's The Shop,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Lebron James said that his son Bronnie cannot call him
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Dad while at the job on the court or at
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: the Lakers office slash facilities. Lebron said his son can
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: call him two three, or he can call him bron
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: or he can call him goat if he wants to,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: but not Dad. Okay, so Steve, both of your sons

- 1:16:12Speaker 2: job as a parent. I mean that dude right there.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: I can't say nothing but good of good things about it.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: I can't say nothing about good things, but about the
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: good thing to contribution he's made to the culture as
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: a basketball player in this modern day. This dude has
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: done an amazing job with his brand, the school's in
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: acron the kids, He takes care of the programs, being
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: a family man, staying out of the spotlight. Probably the
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: best modern day athlete I've seen.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: But can you see Bronnie calling him dad on the court.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Though he can call him the goat like you know, yeah, yeah, all.

- 1:18:16Speaker 1: the back seat of a car?
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: We just heard the strawberry loud of that back seat

- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: I let them go?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Okay, I have Oh you have okay, or.
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: I'm not letting pork ribs go.

- 1:19:23Speaker 2: I'll give a little fried chicken.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: You can live without those, okay. Would you rather have
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: everyone be able to read your mind? Or everyone, uh
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you know, have access to your inner cert Internet search history?
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Either one. We're not going to be speaking either one.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: If you can read my mind, either one.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: We So.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: We are done.
- 1:19:50Speaker 9: I lost everything, relationship, kid, I lost it off, whole
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: career down, all these years, the internet all.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Reading my mind.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: That's today.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Everybody has left me.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: Of what rather?
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Thanks guys, coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour.

- 1:20:25Speaker 1: here we are, last break of the day. It's been
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: a fun day. Thank you. Once again to Yolanda Adams
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: for being our special guest.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, yes, church Door.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Please go out and get her new album. It's called
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Sunny Days. Her new single is Church Doors. You heard
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: it on this show was a world premiere. Yeah, exclusive baby, Yes.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: Yep, hey y'all. In closing today, I want to remind
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: those of you who are trying to be the two
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: things that most people I know are searching for. Everybody
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: I know wants to be successful, and everybody I know
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: wants to be happy. I don't know anybody that doesn't
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: want that and not successful in whatever your definition of
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: success is. Sometimes it's health, you know, Sometimes it's career,
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: sometimes it's finance, whatever it is. But everybody I know
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: wants to be successful and want to be happy.
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: I had to come to an admission about my happiness
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: as a person. I was talking to Tyler Parody the
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: other day and we were talking about some different things
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: and some things he was doing, and I was just
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: talking to him and I said, hey, man, well, I
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: can't relate exactly to that what you're saying, but I
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: can relate to this part right here. I've never been
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: happy as an adult until Marjorie came along. That was
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: my first time as an adult being happy for an
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: extended period of time. I mean really, really being able
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: to be me and accomplish some things with somebody had
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: a right pardon and all like that. I'm not blaming
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: anybody else, Like I always say on my show, I
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: take full responsibility for my role and my mistakes in
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: my life. But this was the first time being happy.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: If you're out there and you're looking for happiness and success,
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: I want to encourage you about a couple of things.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: You have got to be determined. You have got to
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: be determined, and you've got to stop procrastinating. Whatever it
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: is you're planning to do next week, move it up
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: to now. Whatever you're planning on starting at the new
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: year started now. Do you know, man, how many times
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: we delay our success merely with procrastination because we keep
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: setting ourselves into a place that we have no control over,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: which is the future. But you do have a say
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: so in what's happening with you right now. How many
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: times have you planned I'm gonna start losing weight after
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: the holidays, but gots to eat what I want. Now.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Guess what now you' have packed on an extra ten
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: to get rid of now when new year come now
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: instead of you twenty over, now you're thirty over. Now
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: you desponded, you discouraged. Now don't it's too hard for
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: me to get started. No, man, start now, start with
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: what you can start. If you've got a business idea,
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: start now. Well I need a bank loan, No you don't.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: There are things that you can do right now to
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: start your process. Have you done all your due diligence
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: have you Have you gone on the internet. Have you
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: researched everything you need? Have you applied for your license?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: Have you looked into your trademark? Have you gotten your
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: website domain name done? This is stuff you can do,
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: but people try to wait till all they ducks is
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: lined up in the row, and you procrastinating until that happens,
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: and then that never happens. Cause let me tell you something,
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: sixty seven years of living, I can count the times
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: I've seen my ducks line up in a row. I'm
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: just telling you I very rarely see them lying up
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: in a row. I just start. Stop procrastinating, y'all. Stop
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: putting it off until tomorrow. Do it today. You should
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: wake up every day committed to doing something to progress
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: yourself to the future that you're looking for. Even though
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: you have you can't change your future. Everything you do
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: today can affect it. You can start working today to
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: have a better future because tomorrow's not promised, but it
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: might get here though, And if it does get here,
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: your tomorrow's affected by a lot of decisions you make today.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: So if you've done nothing today, why you keep waking
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: up expecting something different? But you ain't put nothing in
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: the bank, you haven't deposited anything, you haven't planned anything,
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: you haven't started the the motion of anything. But you
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: keep waking up and then you can't. You can't, and
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: then you wonder why you're in a rut, Why you
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: spin in your wheels, why you stuck? Why your life
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: seen stalemate? You didn't do anything the day before, folks,
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: And I'm not coming down on you. I'm really trying
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: to give you this tool to stop procrastinating, wake up
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: every day and do something today to move your life forward.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: You just got to stop procrastinating, it's just a killer,
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: and be determined, get some determination in yourself, get get
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: gold oriented, make the decision that you are going to win,
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: and hold on to that decision at all costs. You
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: got to be determined.
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: It's your mindset that's gonna get you there. Now, a
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: lot of things is gonna happen to you. You know,
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: they're like you heard the saying life is ten percent.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: What happens to you is ninety percent what you do
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: about it. You gotta get the right headspace working, man.
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: You have to be determined. I was determined, and you
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: know what, it was just a couple of simple things.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: It was just a couple of simple things.
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: When I was a little boy, I wanted to be
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: on TV. I didn't know that was how hard it
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: was gonna be to get that. Nobody told me I couldn't.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: So I made up my mind I wanted to be
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: on TV. The other thing I did, I'm kind of
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: embarrassed to say, but since we talking, I just I
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: just wanted to have some money. I was just tired.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: I was just sick and tired of being poor. I
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: just I had had enough of it. It was exhausting.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: And those were the two things I had made up
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: in my mind, and I got determined. Get determined, man,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: Talk to God. He would absolutely love to hear from you.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: And I have news for you. God's plan for you
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: is for your life to prosper. That's his plan for you.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Now get in sync with him and go on and
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: have that life you won't. All right, y'all, have a
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: great day. Talk to God. All right.
