- 0:19Speaker 1: not good. Steve hut to Steve, I don't join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta do that turn you turn to turn the
- 1:41Speaker 1: mout turn, got to turn mout water the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I show will Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice one and only Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Come on, y'all. I said
- 2:13Speaker 1: that a little bit wrong this morning. But I'm tired.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I just came out the gym. I'm a little out
- 2:18Speaker 1: of sorts right now. But it's okay. I'll pull it together.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But let me tell you something, man, I got a
- 2:23Speaker 1: clear cut message for you today. I really do you know.
- 2:28Speaker 1: As I've gotten older, I've began to take some supplements.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And supplements are to help your body in things that
- 2:42Speaker 1: it doesn't produce as much as it used to. Supplements
- 2:49Speaker 1: are designed to help you replenish what's been depleted in
- 2:56Speaker 1: your body as supplements. Now, now, people, I can tell
- 3:02Speaker 1: you can speak a lot more aggressively and a lot
- 3:06Speaker 1: more knowledgeable on this subject. But just giving you a
- 3:09Speaker 1: just a brief overview of my understanding of it. Now,
- 3:15Speaker 1: if you've been living your life for a while, supplements
- 3:20Speaker 1: are necessary for most of us now. Also, if you've
- 3:29Speaker 1: been living your life for a while spiritually, you may
- 3:36Speaker 1: need some supplements because you've just been at it for
- 3:41Speaker 1: a while. You don't got woe down a little bit,
- 3:46Speaker 1: You're tied some people around you ain't changing. Some people
- 3:49Speaker 1: around you draining. It's just life just keeps on coming.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Life don't ever get no easier. It just you become
- 3:57Speaker 1: more knowledgeable about how to handle it. It does not
- 4:01Speaker 1: get any either easier. You continue to lose loved ones,
- 4:06Speaker 1: you continue to have to confront the challenges. It's just
- 4:09Speaker 1: that over course of time you become experienced and you
- 4:12Speaker 1: can handle them better. But life don't get no easier.
- 4:17Speaker 1: But spiritually you get a little bit worn down. Well,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you need some spiritual supplements too. And I'm just gonna
- 4:26Speaker 1: flat out tell you, the more God that you can
- 4:31Speaker 1: replenish yourself with, the higher the dosage of God that
- 4:37Speaker 1: you are willing to put into your spiritual self, the
- 4:43Speaker 1: possibilities then become limitless. You actually have the ability to
- 4:52Speaker 1: make a conscious decision to supplement your body, and you
- 4:57Speaker 1: have a conscious decision to supplement yourself spirit You can
- 5:01Speaker 1: do both. So what I did was, I could just
- 5:06Speaker 1: tell you what I did. I was taking all these supplements.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I started taking supplements where I was about forty five.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I think that's when I began. I was thinking about
- 5:17Speaker 1: one day and I just went wild. Man. I started
- 5:20Speaker 1: talking to some knowledgeable people. I found out I needed
- 5:22Speaker 1: these things. But then spiritually, man, I started supplementing myself too.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I started praying some more. I started trying to gain
- 5:30Speaker 1: a little bit more knowledge and wisdom and understanding from
- 5:34Speaker 1: scriptures and just try to make sense of all of it,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you know, just just make a little bit more sense
- 5:41Speaker 1: out of my life, make sure that I was on
- 5:43Speaker 1: the right path. A matter of fact, get on the
- 5:46Speaker 1: right path, find out my real purpose and my mission
- 5:49Speaker 1: in life. And nobody can do that for you. That's
- 5:52Speaker 1: something that you have to want to do. But I
- 5:55Speaker 1: started supplementing my spiritual side of my life and supplementing
- 5:59Speaker 1: my body. Now I happen to be right now about
- 6:03Speaker 1: in the best shape I've ever been in. Technically, I
- 6:09Speaker 1: can assure you though I am in the best shape
- 6:12Speaker 1: spiritually I have ever been in. Now my body has
- 6:15Speaker 1: looked better now it really has. I mean, come on now,
- 6:21Speaker 1: at who I am in life, at the stage with
- 6:23Speaker 1: the years I've been walking this earth. Man, I'm cool,
- 6:27Speaker 1: but spiritually I'm in the best shape I've ever been in.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And what it's done for me, y'all is it's gave
- 6:34Speaker 1: me a peace and a calmness. You know, it used
- 6:37Speaker 1: to be, man, I used to fight so hard against
- 6:39Speaker 1: people who are attack me. Now, man, it ain't. It
- 6:42Speaker 1: ain't as serious to me because now I have a
- 6:45Speaker 1: full understanding that if I come under attack, that God
- 6:49Speaker 1: is with me, because that's a promise he made. That's
- 6:53Speaker 1: Isaiah fifty four seventeen. That's that's that's. Any weapon formed
- 6:58Speaker 1: against you, any weapon form to get you shall not prosper.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You can't. You can't come and get me. I'm not
- 7:06Speaker 1: here for you to take down because you didn't put
- 7:09Speaker 1: me here. So why would I feel a person bringing
- 7:13Speaker 1: me down when they're not the reason that I'm here.
- 7:16Speaker 1: So when you attack me, you have to be careful
- 7:20Speaker 1: because I ain't ever by myself. I formed the relationship
- 7:25Speaker 1: with the most High that I can rely on for protection,
- 7:30Speaker 1: for coverage, and for peace. A lot of times when
- 7:33Speaker 1: things used to stress me out, how to run this,
- 7:36Speaker 1: how to handle this, how to deal with that? You know,
- 7:39Speaker 1: famous rough Man. And then you put that together with
- 7:42Speaker 1: some business, and you put that together with your family.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You got a lot of stuff you're trying to tend to.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I have a piece of mind about it now because
- 7:50Speaker 1: I have someone who provides me with the sense of
- 7:55Speaker 1: understanding and calmness that lets me know that this tool
- 7:59Speaker 1: shall pass. That it ain't just a saying that I
- 8:02Speaker 1: heard old people say that. It ain't just something my
- 8:05Speaker 1: mama used to tell me. It's something that can really happen.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Once you get an understanding, this tool shall pass. This
- 8:12Speaker 1: is just another piece of life that you are now
- 8:14Speaker 1: better equipped to handle. I'm telling you what it's done
- 8:19Speaker 1: for me. A millions of people out there hear me.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Man has done the same thing for them. I'm telling
- 8:26Speaker 1: it new to some people, but there's some people that
- 8:28Speaker 1: show enough understand what I'm saying. And then if you
- 8:31Speaker 1: have known this but kind of forgot it, it's time
- 8:34Speaker 1: for some supplements. So when you get like that, and
- 8:39Speaker 1: now you find yourself in a situation with a disease
- 8:43Speaker 1: or something, you gotta do something. Nah, you gotta start
- 8:47Speaker 1: juicing all your greens. You gotta start detoxing your body.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You gotta start purifying the system. See, the human body
- 8:54Speaker 1: has always had a way to repair itself if you
- 8:57Speaker 1: just give it a chance. Your mind and has always
- 9:01Speaker 1: had a chance to repair itself if you give it
- 9:03Speaker 1: a chance. And your spirit always has a chance to
- 9:08Speaker 1: repair itself, if you give it a chance. It's the
- 9:12Speaker 1: only way I can maintain at this level, and it's
- 9:15Speaker 1: the only way I have any chance of going further.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I have to increase my dosage of spiritual supplements. I
- 9:25Speaker 1: got to talk to God a little bit more. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: got to pray a little bit more. I got to
- 9:32Speaker 1: understand his word a little bit more. That's all I'm
- 9:36Speaker 1: telling you. Man, If you do that, if you just
- 9:39Speaker 1: pray more, if you just studied a little bit more, Man,
- 9:42Speaker 1: just try to get an understand and ask him to
- 9:44Speaker 1: help you understand. It will open up the possibilities of
- 9:48Speaker 1: your life into a realm you never could have imagined.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you that's real. Okay, you're listening, tow ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. You know what it is today? Yeah, good day.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Didn't know if you realize it or not, but you
- 10:12Speaker 1: didn't got to another one, a whole another one, and
- 10:16Speaker 1: you didn't have not a single hand in it. You
- 10:21Speaker 1: didn't do anything to bring to bring that sun up.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You didn't bring you didn't do nothing to set it.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You didn't do nothing to breathe while you would sleep.
- 10:32Speaker 1: All this, man is grace and Murch just blessings. Man.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'm glad I'm on another one. I got another to
- 10:39Speaker 1: dank man. That's pretty good, man, because one day all
- 10:45Speaker 1: of us will no longer be here. That day now
- 10:48Speaker 1: to be a sad day for the people we leave behind.
- 10:52Speaker 1: So my my my mission right now is to live
- 10:56Speaker 1: all my days to the fullest so that when my
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna do get called man and I'm making that transition,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'll be waving back down here, going man. I showed
- 11:09Speaker 1: gave her a good I had a hell of run. Well,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna try not to say hella, because I ain't
- 11:14Speaker 1: gonna need no more points against me, but I get him.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I'm already gonna have to have a discussion at the gate.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I know I ain't gonna be on free m It
- 11:23Speaker 1: was gonna definitely have to have a litigation team. I'm
- 11:28Speaker 1: just hoping my mom wa come down to the front
- 11:31Speaker 1: gate and then talk. Jesus put it in a good
- 11:34Speaker 1: words that say you know he was again on. That's
- 11:38Speaker 1: all I'm meant. Well, that's what it is, ladies. Jentiman,
- 11:42Speaker 1: Steve Harper, Martins Show, Shirley Stroperran Collin for Rail, the

- 11:54Speaker 1: on with you today? You have just what is it? Now?
- 11:58Speaker 1: CLU tell you. I'm gonna tell you. I tell what
- 12:00Speaker 1: I found out that that my wife just did what

- 12:06Speaker 1: last night I got in from the show from Dallas.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I told her, I asked, I said, bed, because you
- 12:11Speaker 1: just wait up for me because I'm getting in really late.
- 12:13Speaker 1: And she said, yeah, do you know I got here
- 12:16Speaker 1: she was passed that. I'll talk about gone two in
- 12:19Speaker 1: the morning. She didn't she gone, She didn't even look like,
- 12:21Speaker 1: wasn't a light on from me, hit my toe at
- 12:23Speaker 1: the dough. She just went straight to bed. So they
- 12:26Speaker 1: really don't care about if I'm out here late night
- 12:28Speaker 1: and I'm out here struggling. She really don't care. It
- 12:31Speaker 1: ain't really nothing she gonna do for me. She went
- 12:33Speaker 1: straight to bed. I saw the fact that it was
- 12:36Speaker 1: no light, soone in here. I'm over here dropping my bag.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'd just stumbled into the dough. I didn't hit stuff,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and she was talking about who in here it's me?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Damn you mean who in here it's me? I asked
- 12:48Speaker 1: her to wait though for me, and she went to bed. Anyway.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Do they just not care? He did question. Did you

- 13:07Speaker 1: But I thought she was gonna sit up for me,
- 13:09Speaker 1: at least hand me some water in her hand or something.
- 13:12Speaker 1: You don't get a divorce, you know what. You're in
- 13:16Speaker 1: the morning and nobody waiting up for you and no
- 13:19Speaker 1: water to live in the morning. Who I am? I
- 13:21Speaker 1: don't care who you are. Rush you off party, go
- 13:30Speaker 1: to jail. I don't hear it work? All right? Come,

- 14:13Speaker 1: times right in your front, y'all boat mobile baptism. Well,
- 14:16Speaker 1: let's go, cat dog. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 14:20Speaker 1: a mister Wilson. How you doing? My name is brother
- 14:25Speaker 1: spring water Man. Listen. We uh we we we got
- 14:28Speaker 1: paid to actually come by and do some services to
- 14:32Speaker 1: h for for you by some friends of yours, and
- 14:35Speaker 1: we wanted to actually call and see about scheduling and
- 14:37Speaker 1: see what you had available. Uh some services. What y'all
- 14:41Speaker 1: playing on? Clenson? Grant? What you do? What kind of
- 14:45Speaker 1: services you're had? Actually, sir, you've got some friends that
- 14:49Speaker 1: have actually spent a great amount of money on you.
- 14:51Speaker 1: And what we do is UM. We have a Baptismal
- 14:55Speaker 1: own Wheels, Servey, And what we do is we go
- 14:58Speaker 1: and we um. We baptized people at their home and
- 15:03Speaker 1: Baptismal Wheels has been it's a new UM company, but
- 15:06Speaker 1: we've we've baptized over a thousand people. Now we have
- 15:09Speaker 1: a truck with which actually has a baptismal pool on
- 15:13Speaker 1: the back of it, and we actually come to your
- 15:15Speaker 1: home and we will baptize you in your driveway and
- 15:20Speaker 1: and make you hold again. So we've hostess here, Brother Water,
- 15:24Speaker 1: brother f m Aga, I'm sorry, freewater freingwater. What you
- 15:28Speaker 1: want to come to my house and give me a
- 15:30Speaker 1: baptism in my front yard. We want to baptize you
- 15:33Speaker 1: right there in your drive where your friends are paid
- 15:35Speaker 1: for the services. And my friend, my friend will pay
- 15:38Speaker 1: for me to get baptized. Man, I've been baptized, are
- 15:40Speaker 1: already well from my understanding, sir that but then that
- 15:44Speaker 1: you you've had some some bumps and bruises and and
- 15:47Speaker 1: and they seem to uh to believe that you need
- 15:49Speaker 1: to be Washington coming again. I mean, that's all good,
- 15:52Speaker 1: that's all. That's all. It's all good. But I mean
- 15:54Speaker 1: things are I mean think that matter that it made? Man,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I mean, I've been baptized, I go to church. You know, uh,
- 16:00Speaker 1: me and the Lord don't have no problems. I mean
- 16:02Speaker 1: we all have setbacks. But for you to pull up
- 16:05Speaker 1: with your pool in front of my house to say
- 16:07Speaker 1: you've been to baptize me. That that doesn't make any
- 16:09Speaker 1: sense to me. Doctor, I mean, s sometimes when some
- 16:12Speaker 1: people are not able to go to the House of
- 16:15Speaker 1: the Lord and get baptized. You know, we're making a
- 16:18Speaker 1: lot more convenient for you, but we can actually need
- 16:21Speaker 1: no convenience. I don't need no convenience. What I need
- 16:24Speaker 1: convenience for you asking me to come to my house
- 16:28Speaker 1: on a Tuesday to baptize me in my driveway? Does
- 16:34Speaker 1: that make any sense to you? Brother Water? I mean,
- 16:36Speaker 1: come on, if you really sit back and think about it,
- 16:38Speaker 1: does that make any sense to you? First of all,
- 16:42Speaker 1: so that that's brother spring water. But what I'm trying
- 16:45Speaker 1: to what I'm trying to see water is holy water,
- 16:49Speaker 1: spring water. It doesn't make no difference to me. You
- 16:52Speaker 1: can't come to my neighborhood and baptize me in front
- 16:56Speaker 1: of my house. Sir, what is all that? This is?
- 16:59Speaker 1: This is what your friends are talking about? That don't
- 17:01Speaker 1: give me? Damn wasn't my prayers are telling you? Man
- 17:04Speaker 1: and anybody which which one of my friends gonna recommend
- 17:06Speaker 1: you to come to my damn house. So I'm and
- 17:11Speaker 1: I don't, dude, let's make that don't even make any
- 17:13Speaker 1: sense to me. You understand. So I'm not I'm not
- 17:15Speaker 1: at any liberty to tell you who actually, uh, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: was between the liberty because of my damn house that
- 17:20Speaker 1: baptized me. But you can't tell me who the hell
- 17:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna see you, but you're not there? What may
- 17:25Speaker 1: come on? You don't even call that that makes sense
- 17:28Speaker 1: for you? Come on, that doesn't make any no where
- 17:30Speaker 1: in any world. I'm gonna allow you to come and
- 17:32Speaker 1: bring your phone in front of my house that baptize me.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Then I'm asking you ask and you supposed to be
- 17:38Speaker 1: a pastor, You supposed to be baptized, And I'm asking you, okay,
- 17:41Speaker 1: what's a friend of mine is sending in you to
- 17:43Speaker 1: you know, letting you know I need to be done.
- 17:45Speaker 1: How you'll tell you out at liberty to all I
- 17:47Speaker 1: wanted to. Basically, I've already been paid. I'm coming. Don't
- 17:52Speaker 1: take it for a chat the schedule. Now I'm baptizing me.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I am baptime. I'm going to baptize you on Tuesday
- 17:58Speaker 1: in your driveway. Man, how can anyone as you come
- 18:01Speaker 1: to my house in front of my driver, you better
- 18:04Speaker 1: bring the old congregation? You understand, you better bring the deacons,
- 18:08Speaker 1: the brothers, the sisters and everybody else. If you think
- 18:11Speaker 1: how many got tim This is the problem. This is
- 18:13Speaker 1: what your friends are talking about. This is why you
- 18:15Speaker 1: need to be baptized and cleansed again and washed in
- 18:18Speaker 1: the blood of the lamp. This is what's wrong. You
- 18:20Speaker 1: need to be cleans That's what's wrong with you, mister Wilton.
- 18:24Speaker 1: What's problems means now what's wrong with two? Is carton
- 18:26Speaker 1: in the little my hope. They're telling me I need
- 18:28Speaker 1: to be backtigh in front of my house. If I
- 18:30Speaker 1: need to be backtif don't get some only water, I
- 18:32Speaker 1: go down to the church. I don't need you come
- 18:35Speaker 1: in front of my house looking old curers. We're all
- 18:37Speaker 1: afraiders from white. She's talking about to win the baptis
- 18:40Speaker 1: mete that my mom understand. I understanding from my understanding.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Mister Wilson, you missed two. Sound is already this month
- 18:48Speaker 1: sund This so lad I can't go anywhere and get
- 18:51Speaker 1: the water. I don't need you coming head because you're
- 18:53Speaker 1: telling how I missed two damn Sundays. I don't miss
- 18:55Speaker 1: this Sunday two because the fun ain't coming off, Sir,
- 18:58Speaker 1: all I know is I've been paid to do a job.

- 20:33Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something. What is the baddest radio
- 20:36Speaker 1: show in the land? Man? You know it's the Steve

- 21:51Speaker 1: in the building, all right, trust and Roanoke writes, I'm
- 21:55Speaker 1: dating a man that has too many female friends. He
- 21:59Speaker 1: and I were having a really laxing Saturday evening and
- 22:01Speaker 1: his old co worker called and said she was in
- 22:04Speaker 1: a neighborhood, so he told her to stop by for
- 22:06Speaker 1: a drink. He said, it's no harm in it, if
- 22:09Speaker 1: he's not disrespecting me. How do I stop this without
- 22:12Speaker 1: looking jealous? Well, number one, you are jealous. Number two,
- 22:18Speaker 1: you don't like it. And it's just simple. If you
- 22:22Speaker 1: want to be in a committed relationship with me, then
- 22:25Speaker 1: I expect some level of commitment. And I'm uncomfortable with
- 22:32Speaker 1: these females that you call friends just dropping by. What
- 22:36Speaker 1: they friends that you know? So I mean you know,
- 22:42Speaker 1: I see look, man, y'all can but we don't. We

- 23:23Speaker 1: got call of Monica, No, its co workers and when
- 23:31Speaker 1: they when they come over your house, it's at the
- 23:33Speaker 1: Christmas party. And then Bob Kid and Jacket know them.

- 23:45Speaker 1: you what. Hey, Tommy, Okay, you sitting up at the house, Jack,
- 23:48Speaker 1: can a girl call you and tell you she coming
- 23:50Speaker 1: back for a drink? Now? You get the drinks somewhere now? Yeah, no,
- 23:59Speaker 1: it's just dating. Okay, sure, okay, I said what I
- 24:04Speaker 1: had to say. Next, Quartema and the Bronx says, my
- 24:14Speaker 1: husband and I hit a rough patch in the intimacy department,
- 24:17Speaker 1: and I told him he could have a hall pass.
- 24:19Speaker 1: He is scared to do it because he thinks that
- 24:21Speaker 1: I will want one too. What he doesn't know is
- 24:24Speaker 1: that I have them all the time. Should I tell
- 24:27Speaker 1: him that didn't know? World, don't do that? Did not
- 24:32Speaker 1: to test? See and see that's why y'all isn't here
- 24:34Speaker 1: the slack because you took your snag so where else? Good? Yeah?
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. You were snagging over there just
- 24:46Speaker 1: getting me here. This is over there, just being real snagging. Yeah. Hey,
- 24:52Speaker 1: he don't know is I have them all the time?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Should I tell him, lady, don't don't you do that? Right?
- 25:01Speaker 1: And stop it? Yeah? And you're stop? Yeah, she needs
- 25:07Speaker 1: to stop? What is she doing? All right? Um? Draca
- 25:13Speaker 1: in Greensborough says, my married male co worker is sleeping
- 25:16Speaker 1: with another's co worker with another co worker's twenty four
- 25:20Speaker 1: year old daughter, and whenever the mama gets mad, she
- 25:23Speaker 1: curses him out at work and she tries to fight him. Okay, yeah,
- 25:28Speaker 1: a married male co worker is sleeping with another coworker's
- 25:31Speaker 1: twenty four year old daughter. Got that, and whenever the
- 25:37Speaker 1: mama gets mad, she curses him out at work and
- 25:40Speaker 1: tries to fight him. So how do I get them
- 25:44Speaker 1: to stop? Huh. What it's got to do with a person,
- 25:47Speaker 1: is right? Who is the lady that's writing a letter though,
- 25:50Speaker 1: she's just she's a person. She's a person who's observing
- 25:54Speaker 1: this okay job, Yeah, yeah, she's at the married cole
- 26:00Speaker 1: how I work? I got so now she want to
- 26:02Speaker 1: know what Now she wants to know how does she
- 26:04Speaker 1: keep them? How does she stop him from clowning at
- 26:07Speaker 1: work in front of the white folks? No, no, see
- 26:12Speaker 1: this is this is see this is you gotta let
- 26:15Speaker 1: this happen, clowning in front of the white folks, the
- 26:19Speaker 1: white Your married man's sleeping with the daughter of a
- 26:26Speaker 1: co worker of a worker. Yeah, and every time they
- 26:29Speaker 1: get mad, she cuts him out and want to fight him.
- 26:34Speaker 1: The job. The mother now the stand by the lady
- 26:40Speaker 1: that's writing a letter, that wants to know how they
- 26:42Speaker 1: get them to stop this in front of the white folks.
- 26:46Speaker 1: And now there are several ways you can't stop it.
- 26:50Speaker 1: There are several ways you can. The obvious one is
- 26:57Speaker 1: too well, I see I wouldn't do that, so I
- 27:02Speaker 1: can look, let me change my else because I was
- 27:04Speaker 1: gonna do something else, gonna be gonna go against my code.
- 27:09Speaker 1: This is none of your business. This ain't got nothing
- 27:14Speaker 1: to do with you. What you should do, and I
- 27:18Speaker 1: very rarely recommend them, but you should go over there
- 27:21Speaker 1: and sit with the white folk and just act like
- 27:26Speaker 1: you don't know there and when it's jumping off, you're
- 27:30Speaker 1: in the white folks for what the world is going on?
- 27:33Speaker 1: And you just gonna offer jeepers, I have no idea.
- 27:39Speaker 1: This is this is the time when you just you
- 27:42Speaker 1: can't blame white people for everything. You got to go
- 27:45Speaker 1: over there and sit with them, white people that gonna
- 27:48Speaker 1: yell um, see you down, I hold you and don't
- 27:55Speaker 1: allow them to put a racial element to it. Okay, yes,
- 28:00Speaker 1: you know, like if you hear him say, hey, you're
- 28:02Speaker 1: Look if you say why the blacks always hey, blacks
- 28:05Speaker 1: ain't always doing nothing? No, no, those three. And then
- 28:12Speaker 1: you got to start leaking information he's sleeping with. But
- 28:17Speaker 1: you have to have your white voice when you leaking
- 28:19Speaker 1: the information. I just did it with her daughter, you
- 28:22Speaker 1: know that door? Oh my god, are you serious? Yes? See?
- 28:30Speaker 1: And then how to help you get out there? It's
- 28:32Speaker 1: just a mess. It's horrible. Now, you finn to get
- 28:36Speaker 1: that old righteousness has anyone with the wife, And that's
- 28:40Speaker 1: where that's why this is gonna get crazy, all right.
- 28:44Speaker 1: So that's what Drinker should do. Well, Drinker write us
- 28:49Speaker 1: back about the job. Yeah, oh my god, this is horrible.
- 28:57Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Celo. Coming up at the time
- 29:00Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news where you're
- 29:02Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:08Speaker 1: In trending political news, we all know a grand jury
- 29:12Speaker 1: and died at the former president who was being investigated
- 29:15Speaker 1: by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office. We're talking, of
- 29:18Speaker 1: course about former President Donald Trump into an illegal hush
- 29:22Speaker 1: money payment of one hundred and thirty thousand dollars paid
- 29:25Speaker 1: by his former lawyer, Michael Cohen to adult film star
- 29:29Speaker 1: Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet ahead of the two
- 29:32Speaker 1: sixteen presidential election about an affair she claimed she had
- 29:36Speaker 1: with Trump back in two thousand and six. New York
- 29:40Speaker 1: prosecutors this month claimed that the payment to Daniels might
- 29:43Speaker 1: be considered a campaign violation, and also found that the
- 29:47Speaker 1: Trump organization recorded the reimbursement to Cohen as legal expenses.
- 29:52Speaker 1: It's against state law in New York for companies to
- 29:55Speaker 1: misclassify the nature of expenses. This could lead to a
- 29:59Speaker 1: miss demeanor charge, which would become a felony if the
- 30:03Speaker 1: misclassification took place in order to cover up another crime.
- 30:08Speaker 1: All right, him up, him up, here's a You know,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I wish something was going to happen to him legally,
- 30:23Speaker 1: this indictment as a first. But I have no faith,
- 30:28Speaker 1: no faith in this system. And now all of the
- 30:32Speaker 1: Republicans are saved that they have no faith in this
- 30:35Speaker 1: system because it's rigged against him. It's a political witch hunt.
- 30:40Speaker 1: And this should never be happening to a former president
- 30:43Speaker 1: of the United States. Well, most presidents don't break the law.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Most presidents ain't had an affair with a hooker and
- 30:52Speaker 1: a porn star. Most presidents ain't had to pay the
- 30:56Speaker 1: porn star. No damn hush money. Let me tell y'all something,
- 31:01Speaker 1: if Barack Obama has done any of this, Yes, the
- 31:06Speaker 1: party wouldn't behind wouldn't be behind him, the country wouldn't
- 31:10Speaker 1: be behind him, and man, America would be a pall.
- 31:15Speaker 1: But our country is so sick. But we actually and
- 31:19Speaker 1: this is their best hope is Trump again. And the
- 31:22Speaker 1: reason Trump is fighting so hard to get the nomination
- 31:25Speaker 1: again and be president it's so he can't get indicted
- 31:28Speaker 1: and convicted because as president he won't. But this cowardest
- 31:33Speaker 1: country that we live in, who is so afraid of
- 31:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump and his base that they are all supporting him.
- 31:42Speaker 1: How can you support a person who has committed a
- 31:46Speaker 1: criminal act and an act of immorality. You all rallied
- 31:52Speaker 1: like held to impeach Bill Clinton with Demonica Lewinsky stuff.
- 31:59Speaker 1: This is deeper than that he had an affair with
- 32:03Speaker 1: the porn star. Why he was married and took this
- 32:08Speaker 1: money so it wouldn't ruin his campaign and pay this
- 32:13Speaker 1: porn star off, not trying to act like they didn't.
- 32:16Speaker 1: And then here's lawyer's talking about there were NBA violations. Man,
- 32:20Speaker 1: tell nobody can about that. What you really did was
- 32:23Speaker 1: And the sickness of this country is they will willingly
- 32:28Speaker 1: go down there and vote for this type of corrupt
- 32:33Speaker 1: morality to sit in the White House. That's okay to
- 32:37Speaker 1: say to your children, this is who we want to
- 32:41Speaker 1: represent our blessed nation. Y'all can take that constitution of y'all, No,
- 32:47Speaker 1: really you can, because you only pull it out when
- 32:51Speaker 1: you need it and when it got some duty on
- 32:53Speaker 1: it you want to put it back up there now, Nah, man,
- 32:57Speaker 1: that's bullcrap. Get your car institution out and use it
- 33:02Speaker 1: and let your law be the law for everybody else.
- 33:05Speaker 1: If a black person of any statue, on any damn
- 33:11Speaker 1: job get caught had some hush money to a hooker
- 33:19Speaker 1: corn star, you ask saint at that company no more. Man,
- 33:24Speaker 1: You're not at that job no more. And you damn
- 33:27Speaker 1: show ain't finn to be the damn president of the
- 33:30Speaker 1: United States. But since it's Donald Trump and he epitomizes,
- 33:36Speaker 1: listen to me, man, what so many people aspired to be.
- 33:42Speaker 1: They would sell their soul to have a jet with
- 33:47Speaker 1: their name on it, to have these hotels what they
- 33:50Speaker 1: named on, to live in Marlago and to be walking
- 33:54Speaker 1: around with that lifestyle. And however, he got it on
- 34:00Speaker 1: s whatever loop holes he joked through, whatever taxes he
- 34:04Speaker 1: ain't paid. They admya that because if they knew how
- 34:09Speaker 1: to do it, they would do it. And they vote
- 34:12Speaker 1: for corruption because they are corrupt. Per Yeah. Later on today,
- 34:19Speaker 1: Trump is expected to appear in New York for his
- 34:21Speaker 1: arrangement on multiple accounts, and one of Trump's lawyers said
- 34:24Speaker 1: the former president will not be handcuffed. Yeah, all right,
- 34:35Speaker 1: all right, we'll be watching for sure. Um, all right,
- 34:39Speaker 1: let's get to let's get to the Shannon Sharp story.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Shannon Sharp kept it real about his love life recently
- 34:46Speaker 1: on Skipp and Shannon Being Disputed show. Shannon said, back
- 34:50Speaker 1: when he was dating a married woman, he really believed
- 34:53Speaker 1: she was the one. Take a listen. I was dating
- 34:55Speaker 1: his chick, right skill, and she was she was married,
- 34:58Speaker 1: but she was getting on the board. I knew I
- 35:01Speaker 1: wanted her. I said, you know what I pay for
- 35:03Speaker 1: the divorce because I believe she would the one. That's
- 35:06Speaker 1: what I did. I think, why are you arguing about this?
- 35:09Speaker 1: He wouldn't sign the papers? I think, why are you
- 35:11Speaker 1: arguing about this little bit of money? I gave her
- 35:13Speaker 1: the money fire the board because I believe I keep
- 35:16Speaker 1: it one hundred, which health I did that? When you believe,
- 35:20Speaker 1: what wouldn't you do? If you believe? Come on, come on,
- 35:25Speaker 1: damn right? Really right? It sounded like a preacher, when
- 35:34Speaker 1: you believe what you won't do? Okay? Love all right?
- 35:40Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, more everything
- 35:44Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're
- 35:47Speaker 1: listening Morning show. Well, next hour during Junior Sports, talk.
- 35:53Speaker 1: We'll talk about last night's NCAA men's championship, but right
- 35:57Speaker 1: now let's talk about the women's championship. We have to
- 36:01Speaker 1: say congratulations again to be LSU women's basketball team on
- 36:06Speaker 1: their first NCUBA national championship in program history. Yes, yes,
- 36:14Speaker 1: but but everyone is still commenting on social media about
- 36:16Speaker 1: LSU's Angel Reese's ring finger gesture at iowa's Caitlin Clark. Now,
- 36:22Speaker 1: what's the big deal? Caitlin's trash talk m Louisville with
- 36:27Speaker 1: the same ring finger gesture, and it was okay, it
- 36:30Speaker 1: was okay, But take a listen to Angel Reese's just
- 36:33Speaker 1: address the situation. Take a listen. I'm happy. I mean,
- 36:37Speaker 1: all year I was critique about who I was nobody
- 36:42Speaker 1: the narrative. I don't fit the narrative. I don't fit
- 36:45Speaker 1: in the box that shall want me to be in.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I'm too hood, I'm too ghetto. Y'all told me that
- 36:49Speaker 1: all year, But when other people do it, y'all don't
- 36:53Speaker 1: say nothing. So this is what the girls that look
- 36:55Speaker 1: like me, that gonna that's gonna speak up on what
- 36:58Speaker 1: they believe in. It's on a apologizical to you, and
- 37:01Speaker 1: that's what I did it for tonight. This was for
- 37:03Speaker 1: more than it was bigger than me today, it was
- 37:05Speaker 1: bigger than me. Twitter is gonna go in the rage
- 37:07Speaker 1: every time. And I mean, I'm happy. I feel like
- 37:11Speaker 1: I've help grow women's basketball this year. I'm super happy
- 37:14Speaker 1: and excited. So I'm looking forward to her celebrating in
- 37:17Speaker 1: the next season. Well okay, yeah, but don't they all
- 37:23Speaker 1: don't they all do that? Don't they all wave bye
- 37:25Speaker 1: bye when when they win. I mean, I've seen a
- 37:28Speaker 1: lot of different justice. It's try talking. That's what they
- 37:32Speaker 1: doing all the time. But it's a good problem with women.
- 37:35Speaker 1: When women do it, they say women's basketball isn't exciting. Now,
- 37:39Speaker 1: it's a little bit of excitement going on. And you
- 37:42Speaker 1: know she gets criticized for that. Come on, well and
- 37:45Speaker 1: when Caitlin Clark, who's white, who's she did the gesture?
- 37:49Speaker 1: She's great for the game she's she's at. And let
- 37:51Speaker 1: me say this, Caitlyn Kark is a bad girl. This
- 37:54Speaker 1: girl can play some college basketball, just basketball period. She
- 37:59Speaker 1: is dumb. But we're in Angel Reese and Lsu. Those
- 38:03Speaker 1: women are good too. They are dope too, and they
- 38:06Speaker 1: won the game. And when she did the gesture, back
- 38:09Speaker 1: at Caitlin. Then it's a problem. She doesn't have good conduct.
- 38:12Speaker 1: That's a problem when the sister does it, But when
- 38:14Speaker 1: white girl does it, it's not an issue. And that's
- 38:17Speaker 1: not right for them to do that to Angel. It's
- 38:20Speaker 1: racially biased, it's sexually biased, it's all of those things. Yeah,
- 38:24Speaker 1: you should have worn hell, but I'm laying he would have.
- 38:29Speaker 1: He wouldn't be Ye, there's video of Caitlyn doing it. Yeah,
- 38:35Speaker 1: she did it at the Louisville game. Yes, it's cool,
- 38:39Speaker 1: so what right it's trash trash next year, Yeah, yeah,
- 38:46Speaker 1: but it's anybody gonna say anything about the coach. But
- 38:57Speaker 1: it was too much for me. Going on on the side,
- 39:01Speaker 1: a lot of strikes. Tigers Go Tigers. Coming up at
- 39:05Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll check Steve's voicemail.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. It
- 39:15Speaker 1: is time now to check Steve's voicemail. And if you
- 39:18Speaker 1: if you would like to leave Steve a voicemail, all
- 39:20Speaker 1: you have to do is call him eight seven seven
- 39:22Speaker 1: twenty nine Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve, you
- 39:26Speaker 1: might just hear your phone call on the air. This
- 39:28Speaker 1: one Stevens from Gary out of Georgia. He has a
- 39:31Speaker 1: comment about the caller who questioned your faith. Hey Steve,
- 39:36Speaker 1: I will listening tell your morning show on Saturday, and
- 39:39Speaker 1: I appreciate you taking my call. The guy that called
- 39:42Speaker 1: in and sees you never hear you say Jesus. You
- 39:45Speaker 1: should have told him that Jesus is God in the flesh.
- 39:49Speaker 1: That's all it is. If you don't say Jesus, you're
- 39:52Speaker 1: still talking about God. God is Jesus. Tell it? You know,
- 39:56Speaker 1: the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the image of
- 40:00Speaker 1: the invisible God. So all this a for his I
- 40:03Speaker 1: wouldn't even entertaining that. Thanks a lot for taking my call. Well,
- 40:07Speaker 1: thank you, sir. I appreciate that. But I do entertain
- 40:11Speaker 1: them calls because I like, I like, I like entertainment. Yeah,
- 40:17Speaker 1: you know, if you got something to say to me,
- 40:18Speaker 1: I want to have something to say to you. But
- 40:21Speaker 1: I appreciate that. It's not gonna change anything. It always
- 40:25Speaker 1: alarms me when people question their faith, like they got
- 40:28Speaker 1: more than you got. Who is he? What do he judgment? Yeah? Man,
- 40:35Speaker 1: I don't. Man, gone somewhere this Holy week? Right? Yeah? Man?
- 40:42Speaker 1: All right? Next is Trump callers, Steve, come on to Steve,
- 40:46Speaker 1: mister Garis, I'm calling from Georgia. Bottom pon in Georgia. Uh.
- 40:52Speaker 1: They're saying that Trump has been a diet it and
- 40:55Speaker 1: he's supposed to fly to New York Monday morning for
- 40:59Speaker 1: Trump leaves the country. Beware, Trump is getting ready to
- 41:03Speaker 1: leave the country. He's not flying to New York. He's
- 41:07Speaker 1: supposed to be leaving mar logo and flash to New York.
- 41:10Speaker 1: He's gonna leave the country on y'all guys have a
- 41:13Speaker 1: booby Steve, thank you, boy, sir. He got got a
- 41:17Speaker 1: theory and where he goes you think, first of all,
- 41:27Speaker 1: let me he has to make a flight plan. You
- 41:32Speaker 1: can't just go out there and get on your plane
- 41:33Speaker 1: and start it up and drive off. These ain't caused, dog.
- 41:39Speaker 1: You gotta get a flight plan. You gotta get air clearance.
- 41:43Speaker 1: You go out there and take that plane off, and
- 41:45Speaker 1: air traffic control don't know you in the air. Dog,
- 41:47Speaker 1: you will be dead soon after that. Because, first of all,
- 41:52Speaker 1: if you don't make a flight plan, the government is
- 41:55Speaker 1: watching the airways. And if you don't, your plane ain't notified. Brother,
- 42:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be some some some some f one fighters
- 42:04Speaker 1: on your ass so fast talking to the pilot in
- 42:07Speaker 1: that cock pit, you you're gonna find your way back
- 42:10Speaker 1: down on the ground. I don't know nothing about this. Yeah,
- 42:15Speaker 1: I Russia because that's where he can't go where, dog,
- 42:21Speaker 1: you you just can't get in a plane and take
- 42:24Speaker 1: off like that. Now, drug smugglers do it, but when
- 42:28Speaker 1: they get detected, they got problems. But this is a jet.
- 42:33Speaker 1: They wasn't smug smuggling drugs on seven forty sevens. He
- 42:38Speaker 1: got a boring business jet. Yeah, dog with Trump? Trump
- 42:43Speaker 1: ain't stupid now can't. No, you can't just take off, Bro.
- 42:49Speaker 1: You go out to one of these airports and that
- 42:51Speaker 1: plane go down that runway. Do you know how many
- 42:53Speaker 1: people get notified? And when you lift off, you don't
- 42:55Speaker 1: know who landing, who coming, who going cross the airway.
- 43:00Speaker 1: That's a very fast way to die. Yea. What Trump
- 43:04Speaker 1: will be his ass in New York this morning in
- 43:09Speaker 1: court later on that this morning, he'll be that he
- 43:15Speaker 1: can't go next to Mexico. He can't go where he going.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Don't nobody like him can't go to behind me. Bro.
- 43:32Speaker 1: If you go to Russia, his whole career is over
- 43:36Speaker 1: because everybody's against Russia because of the Ukrainian Wall. He
- 43:41Speaker 1: go over that man. Let me, boy, he'll being caught today, y'all.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Don't telling y'all telling y'all right now, listen to me.
- 43:51Speaker 1: He he gonna take off and fly to the country.
- 43:54Speaker 1: He will be shot down. Boy. Coming up next, it
- 44:02Speaker 1: is a nephew and today's prank phone call right after
- 44:05Speaker 1: this you're listening, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:14Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry lectric. Subject
- 44:17Speaker 1: is shoes under the bed. Okay, shoes under the bed.
- 44:24Speaker 1: We'll get into that just a few because right now
- 44:28Speaker 1: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call. Nephew,
- 44:31Speaker 1: what you got for us? Well, we got an issue here.
- 44:34Speaker 1: We have an issue here. We have a white guy
- 44:37Speaker 1: that's married to a black lady. Okay, but if he
- 44:41Speaker 1: gonna have to, if he gonna go to church with
- 44:43Speaker 1: a he gonna have to he's gonna have to take
- 44:45Speaker 1: the church gospel quiz, the church gospel, not the quiz,
- 44:49Speaker 1: not the church that. There's some things he needs to know.
- 44:52Speaker 1: You understand, you're gonna have to take the Church Gospel
- 44:56Speaker 1: of quiz and you're gonna have to pass it with
- 44:59Speaker 1: flying color, to be hanging out in a black sat Karry.
- 45:05Speaker 1: All right, So this right here is church gospel quiz
- 45:07Speaker 1: as we ease on into coming up to Easter Sunday.
- 45:12Speaker 1: This is church gospel. Who he is cad dog if
- 45:15Speaker 1: you whood? This is Grant, all right, Grant h Grant Stevens. Right, Yes, Hey, hey, Grant,
- 45:23Speaker 1: this is brother Lewis Finley. I'm calling from Mount Sini Mission.
- 45:27Speaker 1: There a Baptist church you you and your wife just
- 45:30Speaker 1: joined a couple of weeks ago, am I right? Absolutely? Yes? Okay,
- 45:35Speaker 1: So now listen, um, I wanted to reach out to you.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I know you guys have started the uh the orientation,
- 45:42Speaker 1: and from my understanding you you finished one one class
- 45:46Speaker 1: of the orientation. You got three more to go with that,
- 45:48Speaker 1: right yeah? Alright, alright, alright, So first of all, I
- 45:52Speaker 1: want to say welcome to Mount Sinine and and I
- 45:55Speaker 1: hope you are enjoying yourself. I know that you and
- 45:59Speaker 1: your wife are a mixed couple. You you're a Caucasian
- 46:02Speaker 1: and she's she's black. Are you Are you liking the
- 46:06Speaker 1: church so far? Grant? Absolutely, we really are enjoying it.
- 46:11Speaker 1: We completed our first orientation and uh yeah, so far
- 46:14Speaker 1: we're really enjoying it. Okay, Okay, did I catch you
- 46:17Speaker 1: a bad time? I don't work right now, but it's okay.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I've got a couple of I've got a couple of us. Okay, okay.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I just wanted to call you, man. I was worried
- 46:26Speaker 1: I know you because I don't think you noticed. But
- 46:28Speaker 1: you are the first Caucasian to join our church, and
- 46:33Speaker 1: I just want to make sure you kind of knew
- 46:36Speaker 1: the language and and just just kind of knowing what
- 46:40Speaker 1: the Black Church is all about. And there's certain sands
- 46:42Speaker 1: and different things I think you should know so that
- 46:46Speaker 1: uh you know, I just don't want you to say
- 46:48Speaker 1: the wrong thing while you at the church. Does that
- 46:50Speaker 1: makes sense? Uh? Okay okay. So so what I wanted
- 46:55Speaker 1: to do, like, I wanted to give you a little
- 46:57Speaker 1: Black Church quiz so you can turn them. Maybe if
- 47:01Speaker 1: you could let me know where you are, you know,
- 47:04Speaker 1: if you want a lower level or a high level.
- 47:06Speaker 1: That's for being knowledgeable about the Black Church, like still
- 47:11Speaker 1: is blank in for me, grant And if you don't matter,
- 47:13Speaker 1: I just want to take libity of time and I
- 47:15Speaker 1: let you get back to work. But First of all,
- 47:18Speaker 1: give a blank to God. What what we'll go in
- 47:22Speaker 1: that blank? Right there? First of all, give a blank
- 47:25Speaker 1: to God. Well, all I can think of Tom has
- 47:29Speaker 1: give give things to God. H No, see that's wrong.
- 47:32Speaker 1: See that's wrong. See to see what it is is?
- 47:35Speaker 1: First of all, give an honor to God. All right?
- 47:38Speaker 1: Remember that? First of all, give an honor to God.
- 47:40Speaker 1: You got that? Okay? Yes, yes, okay. First of all,
- 47:44Speaker 1: give an honor to God, who is the blank of
- 47:48Speaker 1: my life? What? What? What? What goes into blak? First
- 47:51Speaker 1: of all, give an honor to God, who is the
- 47:54Speaker 1: blak of my life, the love of my life. No, No,
- 48:00Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's wrong. First of all, give an
- 48:02Speaker 1: honor to God, who is the head of my life.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Did you give you shure that? I'm sorry, okay, I
- 48:11Speaker 1: was just are you sure? Are you sure about that? Oh?
- 48:13Speaker 1: I'm definitely sure about No. I don't don't don't. What
- 48:16Speaker 1: I don't want you to do is question what I know.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm from the Black Church. I know you. No. No,
- 48:20Speaker 1: I wasn't. I wasn't questioning you, sir. I wasn't question.
- 48:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I've just always heard it that way. But Okay,
- 48:26Speaker 1: So so I'm trying to give you the understanding of
- 48:29Speaker 1: one what the Black Church is about. You know what
- 48:30Speaker 1: I'm saying, I understand, I just I pre I appreciate you.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I'm just I apologize. Okay, no, no, look, I don't
- 48:39Speaker 1: know these answers obviously, but I've got a meeting. I
- 48:41Speaker 1: gotta get you here in a minute. Like like this,
- 48:43Speaker 1: I'm curious if everyone in the church gets these phone calls.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Well wait, wait a minute, women a great. I know
- 48:47Speaker 1: you have a meeting, but what's more important You're meeting
- 48:49Speaker 1: or knowing your position at the Black Church? What what's
- 48:54Speaker 1: more important? I really don't have time for this right now.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I can't believe it's actually happening. Like did you did
- 48:59Speaker 1: your pastor even know that you're calling you right now? Well? No,
- 49:02Speaker 1: I took the livery of myself when I realized you
- 49:05Speaker 1: was Caucasian, that I would call and try to help
- 49:08Speaker 1: you so you would know what to do when you're
- 49:10Speaker 1: in the Black Church when people are saying certain things
- 49:12Speaker 1: you Okay, okay, grant, if you don't man, just do
- 49:17Speaker 1: this funning grant, Like do you know what hooping is? Hooping? Like,
- 49:22Speaker 1: who's the hooping. Uh no, hooping is when the past.
- 49:26Speaker 1: That is at the end of his sermon. So listen
- 49:29Speaker 1: to this. Goodn't god n't night do that funning? If
- 49:35Speaker 1: you if you wore a grant? Oh lo oh god,
- 49:41Speaker 1: oh night. No, no, no, no, you come on you
- 49:46Speaker 1: you women. Goodn't got out. I'm like that. I can't
- 49:54Speaker 1: believe him doing that. Oh oh yeah, oh God, old mighty. Okay, Hey, hey, great,
- 50:05Speaker 1: do you think maybe it's possible to dick you can
- 50:08Speaker 1: have some sessions before you come back to the church
- 50:12Speaker 1: and I can prepare you more. Hey man, listen, you
- 50:16Speaker 1: have caught me at a really bad time, and I'm quiet,
- 50:18Speaker 1: honestly just so frustrated. Like I've never heard of a
- 50:22Speaker 1: quiz like this. I'm really offended, to be honest, to
- 50:24Speaker 1: be like, do you guys not want me to go
- 50:26Speaker 1: to your church anymore? Like a matter of fact, dude,
- 50:29Speaker 1: you should be calling my wife right now. She's black.
- 50:32Speaker 1: But if she should already know the cost question, you
- 50:36Speaker 1: the one don't know I'm gonna call. I should call you.
- 50:39Speaker 1: I am at work right now. I have a meeting
- 50:41Speaker 1: to get to in just a minute. I don't know
- 50:43Speaker 1: what you're doing and I hold on a second. I
- 50:46Speaker 1: have got to close my office store. This is so embarrassing.
- 50:49Speaker 1: I have never ever received a phone call like this
- 50:52Speaker 1: in my life, and you better be lucky. I mean,
- 50:55Speaker 1: I want to talk to your pastor. I am going
- 50:57Speaker 1: to talk to him next Sunday. No joke. Why didn't
- 51:00Speaker 1: mean to put you to get a hostile like that.
- 51:02Speaker 1: I didn't mean that you. I didn't mean to upset
- 51:04Speaker 1: you and nothing like that. What can I can? I
- 51:06Speaker 1: can I say something else to you? One last thing
- 51:09Speaker 1: and I have to go. Okay, I just wanted to
- 51:12Speaker 1: let you know that this is left you tell me
- 51:15Speaker 1: from the Steve Horban on the show. Your wife Carolyn
- 51:19Speaker 1: got me to brank phone call. You shut up, shut up.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I am so sorry. I am so sorry. Since Oh
- 51:35Speaker 1: you're good, you are. I'm all right, man, I'm alright
- 51:39Speaker 1: a little embarrassed, but I'm all right. Gret you gotta
- 51:42Speaker 1: do it for me one more time? Oh he oh no,
- 51:49Speaker 1: oh yeah, okay, man, look at do this for me
- 51:56Speaker 1: and tell me what is the baddest I mean, the

- 54:24Speaker 1: It is a Strawberry letter. Thank you. Few subject shoes
- 54:29Speaker 1: under the bed. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm forty seven years
- 54:33Speaker 1: old and the guy I'm dating is not who I
- 54:35Speaker 1: thought he was. When we started dating, I told him
- 54:39Speaker 1: that I didn't want to get married because I had
- 54:40Speaker 1: been living with the man for almost fifteen years, and
- 54:44Speaker 1: when he called it quits, it was easier to pick
- 54:47Speaker 1: up and move on. He told me that he was
- 54:49Speaker 1: tired of the dating scene and he wanted to settle down.
- 54:53Speaker 1: He's fifty and has never been married. He said he
- 54:56Speaker 1: hadn't dated anyone in over four years and didn't even
- 55:00Speaker 1: let women come to his apartment anymore. When we decided
- 55:03Speaker 1: to live together, I helped him clean out his apartment
- 55:07Speaker 1: and I found feminine products, ladies hair products, and old makeup.
- 55:11Speaker 1: All of the products were expired, so I thought they
- 55:15Speaker 1: might belong to his ex girlfriend. But when I found
- 55:18Speaker 1: three pairs of lady's shoes and a pair of fluffy
- 55:21Speaker 1: house shoes under his bed that were current styles, I
- 55:25Speaker 1: knew someone had left them there recently. I put colles
- 55:28Speaker 1: in the living room. I put the shoes in the
- 55:31Speaker 1: living room and told him to call his side chick
- 55:34Speaker 1: and tell her to come and get all of her shoes.
- 55:36Speaker 1: There were three pairs of Lubetan, and one pair was
- 55:40Speaker 1: the same as a pair he bought me for Christmas. First,
- 55:44Speaker 1: he tried to act like he knew the shoes were
- 55:46Speaker 1: under the bed, and he said that it was nothing.
- 55:49Speaker 1: These shoes have been gently worn and they were a
- 55:52Speaker 1: tiny size seven, so he knew better than to say
- 55:55Speaker 1: they were for me. He is avoiding the subject now
- 55:59Speaker 1: and saying I'm crazy for going through his things. His
- 56:02Speaker 1: lease is up and he only has about ten more
- 56:06Speaker 1: days in that apartment. He can't come stay with me
- 56:09Speaker 1: until he stops lying about the shoes. Here's my question.
- 56:12Speaker 1: If it's plain as day to me that a woman
- 56:15Speaker 1: was in his place recently? Am I stupid if I
- 56:18Speaker 1: move forward with him, no matter what happened? Should I
- 56:21Speaker 1: trust him? Okay, here go your questions. Are you stupid
- 56:24Speaker 1: if you move forward with him? Yes, no matter what happened.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Should I trust him? No? All right, that's it. Those
- 56:32Speaker 1: are your questions. I mean, you're really wasting our time
- 56:35Speaker 1: with this, Steve, and I come on, we can see this.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You know this is wrong. Why can't you see? You
- 56:42Speaker 1: know he's trying to find someplace to stay because his
- 56:45Speaker 1: lease is up in ten days. You know he has
- 56:47Speaker 1: another woman or women. The clues and the shoes are
- 56:52Speaker 1: all there for you to see. You don't need us
- 56:54Speaker 1: to tell you what is clear. You can see it
- 56:57Speaker 1: with your own eyes. He's using you. The real question
- 57:00Speaker 1: is why are you continuing in this foolishness. Why would
- 57:03Speaker 1: you take another man in your home to playhouse. You
- 57:05Speaker 1: just did this for fifteen years and look how that
- 57:08Speaker 1: turned out. This guy walked out on you, walked out
- 57:11Speaker 1: on you. Now you're entertaining it again. No, please stop
- 57:15Speaker 1: this madness that is going on in your life with
- 57:18Speaker 1: these men. Get some control of your own destiny. Stop
- 57:21Speaker 1: letting these men use you and then when they're done,
- 57:24Speaker 1: they just walk away. Stop this, Steve Well, I agree
- 57:30Speaker 1: with you, Shelly, So this is gonna be real, so
- 57:33Speaker 1: for surey right? You know we tied to y'all. Some
- 57:37Speaker 1: of these damn letters don't even need to be written.
- 57:39Speaker 1: You're just wasting paper. We gotta sit up in here,
- 57:42Speaker 1: we gotta primpt ease out, and then we gotta take
- 57:45Speaker 1: our inpn and make notes. And you know, sometimes the
- 57:50Speaker 1: strawberry letter, I don't even want to do them because
- 57:52Speaker 1: just what man, what it'd be okay if it was
- 57:56Speaker 1: a rational letter. But listen to this letter. I'm fart seven.
- 58:00Speaker 1: The game dating is not who I thought it was.
- 58:03Speaker 1: When we started dating, I told him I didn't want
- 58:05Speaker 1: to get married because I had been living with a
- 58:08Speaker 1: man for almost fifteen years, and when we called it quit,
- 58:10Speaker 1: it was easy to pick up and move on. Now,
- 58:13Speaker 1: let me ask you something, man, you don't want to
- 58:15Speaker 1: get married because when y'all called it quit, it was
- 58:18Speaker 1: just easy to pick up. So you gotta make a
- 58:20Speaker 1: decision because he's something wrong with you. So are you
- 58:24Speaker 1: looking for a rasing relationship to get into with an
- 58:26Speaker 1: easy out? Are you looking for a relationship with a
- 58:29Speaker 1: commitment to state? See, if you keep looking for relationships
- 58:33Speaker 1: with easy outs, you're gonna keep getting this right here. Now,
- 58:36Speaker 1: you don't want to get married because when y'all called
- 58:39Speaker 1: it quits, it was easy to walk away. So this
- 58:42Speaker 1: side what you want? You want relationships it's easy to
- 58:46Speaker 1: walk away from, or you want a relationship with a
- 58:48Speaker 1: commitment to state. Neither. Come on now, lady. He told
- 58:52Speaker 1: me he was tired of the dating, senior. He wanted
- 58:54Speaker 1: to settle down. He's fifty, never been married. Right now,
- 58:59Speaker 1: you got to really peel your eyes back when you
- 59:03Speaker 1: start dealing with men that's fifty that ain't never been
- 59:08Speaker 1: married and ain't got no children. He ain't been responsible
- 59:14Speaker 1: to nobody but hisself for fifty damn years, and now
- 59:20Speaker 1: you want him all a sudden to be responsible for you.
- 59:25Speaker 1: You gotta think about that now. He said he hadn't
- 59:28Speaker 1: dated anybody in over four years? What man you know?
- 59:35Speaker 1: Come on, what member of the male species do you
- 59:40Speaker 1: know that ain't dated nobody in full years? Why? Why?
- 59:48Speaker 1: How you ain't dating nobody in four years? You ain't
- 59:50Speaker 1: seeing nobody in four years? You don't even let him
- 59:54Speaker 1: come over your apartment? Hang on, you should have pushed
- 59:57Speaker 1: his plate on the floor at the restaurant where he
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: told you back, I got your answer, went on in
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: your car. I love the drama of it all, all right,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: just push this and walked up and got in your car.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject shoes under the bed.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: to show, all right? Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject is shoes under the bed. Twenty
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: seven year old woman dating a guy that's fifty And
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: when y'all started dating him. You told him you didn't
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: want to get married because you've been living with a
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: man for fifteen years, and when we called it quits,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: it was easy to pick up and move on. That's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: why you don't want to get married. So when you're
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: calling it quits, is easy to move on. Here's what
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I said. Don't know the break, so you won't relationships
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: that's easy to get out of and easy to quit.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: That's what you want instead of wanting the relationship with
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: a commitment to stay. Well, lady, then you Finn to
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: get another one, and let me introduce you to him,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: because he is who you're dating now. He told me
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: he was tired of dating and he wanted to settle down.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: He's fifty and ain't ever been married. Lord him, mercy, ladies,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: let me just test say this about a man that's
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: fifty that's never been man. I don't give a damn
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: who he is, where he is, and if he's listening. Now,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: prepare yourself to meet a man who has not been
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: responsible for anybody for fifty years except himself and brother,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: let me tell you something. How you got through for
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: fifty years can for John? I don't care what you
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: gave your mama. I don't care if you bought your
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: mama house. I'm talking about somebody your ass is directly
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: responsible to, and somebody you answer to. I don't give
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: a dog on if you've been in the military. It
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: don't matter fifty years old, because I gonna tell you something.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: You know, a real manhood is. Now. You can be
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a man, but the full scope of manhood is two things.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: When you love somebody more than you love yourself, and
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you are responsible for the welfare and being of someone
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: else other than you. When you accomplish them two things,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: your ass is a real man. The rest of the dog,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: all the rest of this. You can be a man,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: and you can be successful, but you want to get
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the totality of what manhood is. Until you love somebody
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: more than you love yourself, and you are responsible for
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: somebody's life holy and solely other than yours. And man,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you you, you you don't know what this is. Man,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you really don't. And that's what we're dealing with now.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: And then he said he ain't dated anybody in over
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: four years. I want you, like I said before, when
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: he told you that in the rest of you should
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: have reached over raped his plate on the floe and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: got up and when he got no cons drove off
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the hell you sitting the what male species? Ain't dated
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: no damn body in four years? And then he said, uh,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: and he don't even let women come to his apartment anymore?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Why why not? Dog? Who who don't want? No company?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Who do? Who? Do? See? This is what happened when
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you date this fifty year old dude that ain't never
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: been marrid when he just and then when we decided
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to live together, I helped him clean out his apartment
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: and I found feminine products. Ladies have products old makeup.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: All the products were expired, so I thought that might
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: belong to his ex girlfriend. Then I found three pair
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: of Ladies shoes and a pair of Fluffy house shoes
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: under his bed that were current styles. I knew someone
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: had left him that recently. Yes, yes, all that's true. Okay,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: and so now, but why why did you move in
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: before you went over that? Listen to me, lads, when
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you offer man's house and and the guy says you
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: think about moving in, two things you need to do.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: You need to look in the closet on the back.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: You need to look under the bed and you need
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: to look in the damn medicine cabinet. Yeah, that's because
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you need to know what you're fitting to get. And
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: it's in one of them damn places. It is in
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the closet, in the top, in the back, it is
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: under the bed, and it is in the medicine cabinet.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Now you can call it what you're snooping around my
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: house for, because I'm trying to see my future. Yeah yeah. Now,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: I put the shoes in the living room and told
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: him to call his side. She could tell her to
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: come get all her shoes. It was three proud of
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: lubertants and one pair was the same patter he bought
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: me for Christmas. Now, I gotta give him credit for that,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: because that's easy shopping. And you ain't confused about it
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: because you didn't bought them for everybody. That right there,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: that's good ass. That's good ass shopping right there. That's
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: that's playing eight. I did that when I was eighteen.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: I bought two girls a turk horse bracelet at the
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Make Company because it was two for one at Christmas,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: and I boxed them up and I put the note
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: in each one to each one of them. But I
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: made the mistake of giving each one of them the
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: wrong box. Yeah, I was. I did that at nineteen.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: He doing it at fifty. It's a big ass. I
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: learned mine at nineteen. He doing it at fifty, his
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: dumb ass. And then these shoes were gently worn, and
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: they wore a tiny size seven. Now this girl wear
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: a ten, clearly, because anytime you call a seven or
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: tiny shoe, you ain't no eight. No, you were ten,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and the ain't nothing were wrong with tens, because boy,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I didn't seen some women, some fine women wearing some teens.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: But I just never know that about here, so we
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: know better to say that it was for me. He
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: was a vote subject of saying I'm crazy going through
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: the things. And Lisa's up in about ten months. The
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: question is is it playing this day that that a
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: woman was in the place recently? Yes, and my stupid
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: if I move forward him, you already moved in with him.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: What is the letter? Folk? You're too late? You live
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: that you're putting shoes and telling chicks to come by
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to get them. Now, if you was back in the
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: day and Poe, you'd have to put slicks in them shoes,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: cause you have to jam your teens down in them
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: all right. Post your comments on today Strawberry Letter at
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Steve Harvey out the side on Instagram and Facebook. Check
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Cast Undermand coming up with forty six
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, it's Junior in Sports Talk. Right
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: It's time now for junior and sports talk. Hate you
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: and you're what you got this morning? Kay. The men's
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: National Championship game in Houston was a game. Congratulations to
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: you for being to San Diego State. That game went
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: down seventy six and fifty nine. It was close for
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the first three minutes. That was pretty much. That was
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: pretty much all you cut at that point. Yeah, but
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: you know what, the city looked good though. They was
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: in there. Yeah, oh man, they was packed in the
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: NRG Stadium. Man, they was packed in there, and you
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: saw fans from all over you know over there. Yeah, yeah, cool,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: it was. It is a national championship game. I mean,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Yukon was the favorite, and man, you know you went
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: in by that margin of a large, uh you know,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: marginal victory. That that was shocked me. I thought San
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Diego was gonna make it close. But no, man that
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I don't know who that dude was, Tommy, but he
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: was like this dude, it's like seven foot. He was
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: just ducking on everybody. Yeah, man, I said, what nature partner? Yeah,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you know tickets average man for that game, man, from
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: fifteen thousand, twenty thousand times to go to one for
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: one seat. I know my TV was the best spot
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: for me being I know that's right. I know my
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: TV was working. I said, I got the same view
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: they got. Yeah, yeah, you can't did it high? Yeah? Yeah, yamp.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: So that's that's different basketball, man. They college champs, man,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: And you know, congratulations again to the LSU girls for
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: also being the national chance for women's basketball junior. What
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: about this though, doctor Jill Biden the first lady extending
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: an invitation to both teams. Now Iowa the white House?
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: That about that? Yeah, y'all didn't win. When the movie
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: get the invited? Yeah yeah for really, y'all can go
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: to Iowa state capital. We don't care about going to
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: the White House. No, that's not fair. That's trend right
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: now too. So they like, come on, yeah on the investiking,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: We just no, they should go. They won, But maybe
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I would decline the offer. Maybe they need to because
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: that's not madness into April madness, right, surely in April
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: two for that going down? Right, Yeah, we already got
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: participation trophies. Now, we got participation visits. Now y'all didn't win.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You don't need to be down. No ers from both teams, no, no,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: all right, congratulations once again to the winners, to the champs,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: and thank you. We'll be back with more of the
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening show, Steve,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: here we go. Ricky on Facebook rights yesterday, my wife
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: told me some sad news. Our neighbor has been diagnosed
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: with the terminal illness and probably has about six months
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: to live. She's been close to them, but really the
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: only contact I've had with the guy is when he
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: won a to borrow something. So here's my question, Uncle Steve,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: what's the most tactful way to go over and try
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: to get my stuff back. We're talking jumper cables, various tools,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: a push lawnmore and stuff like that. I don't want
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: to sound want to sound heartless, he says, but I'm
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: afraid my stuff will end up in some garage or
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: a state sale, and I'm not buying it back the
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: way I do. It is the stuff that you just listed,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: lawnmower's jumper cables. It's already in the garage. He stayed
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: righting at the dope, and when he died, just go
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: over there and get it right what same day and
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Steve well, you know he did as yours. You didn't know,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: but dnc as soon as you hear he died. You
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: got to be right there as soon as he died.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: And then walking in and get it. And then people
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: talking about you stole it. Now. I was picking up
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: my stuff. He did Quinn and be surprised and surprised
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: that's the key, and then drop all this stuff and go, oh,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: if you listening, put on a show. I was just
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: going by and pick up myself because I was getting
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: round on pretty grad. And then when the people leave,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: drank off. Are you stop right there? I got myself back. Yeah. Man,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: you got to put a little acting in here, a
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: lot of hood and a little act. You gotta be
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: half holy, half hood. I got a T shirt Fred
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Brother gave me purple and gold. It's saying I'm half
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: holy and half hood. That means you can pray with me,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: but don't play with me. All right, all right, sense,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: all right, we have time, I think, Steve for one more.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: This is from Gary on Steve HARVEFM. Gary writes, I
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: just started working at a new company and things are
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: going well so far. However, some guy who I guess
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: was there from the start of the business and retired
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: about a year ago, just died. My boss is taking
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: it pretty hard, and he has strongly suggested that he'd
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: like all current employees to go to the funeral. I'm
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: not being told by my new coworkers that the boss
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: takes mental notes, keep score and remembers everything. That's what
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: he's being told by his co workers. So in other words,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: if I'm not there, I might as well kiss goodbye
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: any chance of being promoted. I have plans on Saturday
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that'll need to be canceled to go to this thing,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: but I'd rather not because I didn't even know the guy. So, Steve,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Tommy Junior, is it that more? Is that more important?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I love the job and want to be there for
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: a long time, But for real, come on, dog, you're
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: better get a black suit and get your air at
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: that me. I don't I don't do stuff like that.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: I don't go nobody fil I don't know. But what
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: what can he do at the job? Though? Hey, dog,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: your boss crying? I ain't go. I don't just dipping
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: in there for a minute, though, Dog just dipping there
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: thirty minutes. You say, no social event. I know. I
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: know they're saying, though, yeah he might not get promoted.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Oh man, just called just this? What saying? Just what?
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: No telling courage exactly because he died. I ain't know him.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: He wouldn't have as coming to work. He was sick
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: all the time. What we cray? You know? Any can
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I have his chair? I like to choose nice as
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: mouse pad over the amount like stuff like that. But
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I don't go to people's funeral. I don't know. I
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: just don't. Yeah, that's your last did people segment? Here
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: we're dying around me. We'll have more of the Steve
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show, all right, Steve, Let's
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: remind everyone about your game changing daily green powdered drink.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: It's called elevate you. Hey man. This past weekend, my
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: fraternity had a reunion of our chapter, and I'm just
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: glad to see the brothers, the WANs that still here.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: We lost some brothers long the way. But I tell
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: you what was great, Man. I ran up into a
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: frat brother named Bill Forrester, Forrester, who who I pledged.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: He came up to me and he's only like, send
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: me something, he said, Brother Harvey, I've been using your
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: elevate you man, and I want to tell you something. Man.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: It really does work. Man, Thank you. Man. It took
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: about three weeks for mind to kick in, he said. Man.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: But when he kicked in, Man, Man, I started back
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: to walking. I've got the energy. I'm down at the
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: gym now. Man, I don't miss a day. Man. That
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: product elevate you, man, and it tastes good too, he said.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: I don't really care for the green one, but that kid,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: I love a cherry in that chocolate. You know. Let
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: him talk and you just said, hey, man, that elevate you.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: It's dynamite out and told all my friends at the
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: gym about it because they notice how I'm acting now.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: And I recommend Elevate you to anybody. So folks out there,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: go to Elle Apostrophe, Evate, Elevate you dot com and
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: check it out and join the millions of people who
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: are own it and thrive. Right Jesus name hey, it
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: takes out telling him a thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: we'll play a round it. Would you rather right after
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: this you're listening morning show? It is time now for
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: a rounded? Would you rather? Would you rather baby sit
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: crying baby triplets for six hours? Or you'd rather go
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: without food and water for twenty four hours? Just a day?
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: So no food, no water for a whole day, as
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: opposed to babysits from crying, trip sumping to eat and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: cry with them babies myself, so Steve, no food or drink.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: I'm not sitting up here with you. Thank for six hours?
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: That's it. They crying the whole damn telling what they got. Colleague,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: I'd have been around a colleague baby before. No law,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: it ain't let you got to hear up and get
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: to that drug store. And it's got to say collag
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: on now cold school, all right? Would you rather wake
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: up in the morning as a dog or would you
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: rather wake up in the morning as a cat? Come on, dog?
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Why must I feel like? Why must I chase the cat?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Nothing but the dog, didn't it. This is a story
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: about a famous dog. Rhythmic dog. Dog. Hey man, When
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I saw George clear us and I want to thank
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: you for writing that song for me, he said, how
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you figured out for you? I said, when you see
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: this is a story about a famous dog, I said, George,
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I took it personal. He said, we'll go ahead on me.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: All right, let's keep with the animal theme. Okay, would
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you rather kiss a horse? Would you rather tell your
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: ex you still love them? The horse and the tongue
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: kissed that I'm talking about, cross this big ass. I'm
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: gonna rub tongue across that horse. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: do it so good that damn horse gonna be looking
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: for me later on, bro, what you It's gonna be
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: a man too. I want a man horse. What you're
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: doing later on the night? Yeah, you would rather kiss
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: a horse dead mouth that horses lips and run my
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: tongue across the big dangerous and feeding my apple at
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: the same time. All you have to just tell your
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: actions to love us a while I'm kissing him. Do this? God,

- 1:19:39Speaker 1: we are, guys, the last break of the day on
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: this Tuesday, the day. Yeah, yeah, that the Lord has
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: made We'll just say that. Let us for choice and
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: be glad in it. Yeah. So we all had a
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: busy weekend, all of us. We're all still recovering from
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: our weekend. Steve, which a frad in Ohio. Tommy, Yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Tommy and Junior. You all were in Dallas. Yeah, it
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: was in Atlanta. Yeah, huh, sure you did at the
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: last opening. Uh huh, congratulations. And I co hosted this gala, guys,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: I wanted to tell you about. It was a gala
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: for a Jack and Jill chapter in Houston, Sugarland chapter
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: to be exact. But anyway, my co host this guy,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: he's a comedian, Steve. His name is Daniel Dugar and
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: he told me a story. He said that back in
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: the nineties he had the opportunity to be on the
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Apollo back when you know, you were hosting, and you
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: came up to him and you told him that he
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: was next, and you asked him was he ready? And
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: he said, yeah, I think I'm ready. I think I'm ready,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: And he said, you said, listen to me, listen to
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: me carefully. I want you to go over in the
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: corner and I want you to practice your top two
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: jokes over and over and over and say them over
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: and over until you got it. Because if you are
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: not funny when you walk back out here, they aren't
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: going to boot you. So you need to make sure
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you got Joe show together. So he said, he did it.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: He said, you got out there, he killed and he
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: was just so happy, and he said and from that
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: moment on, he has always wanted to thank you. He said,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: because of Steve Harvey, I wear suits on stage. Because
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: of Steve Harvey, I got a lot of confidence to
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: be this comedian. So he said, he saw you at
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: the Kings of Comedy. He tried to come and see you.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Did the Kings of Comedy, go to Oakland. Still yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: So he's from Oakland, he's from that area. So he said,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: he tried to get to you a thank you, but
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: Boomerang just doing his job. I'm telling you, man, you
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: somebody gonna walk up to you on any given night
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and going, my man, you next, And I'm gonna tell
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you right now man, right after that, it's about to
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: go down. You know, I thank God for so many things. Man.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: My life, my career has been just absolutely wonderful. With
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: all of his snags and pitfalls and troubles, it's still
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: been wonderful. Man. And like Carla said, you know, we
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: all had some busy weekends. This weekend, the Brothers was
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: too in. Shirley was doing a launch of her product line,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: and Carla was out there at the gala that I
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: spoke at my fraternity's reunion. I was a keynote speaker.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: And it's really deep, man, when you sit and you're
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: talking with cats that you were friends with forty nine
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: years ago. There were so many brothers that we formed
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: a friendship forty nine years ago. We were at my
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: ranch last year fishing and this white guy was there
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: and he said, man, this is amazing. He'd never seen this.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: He said, how did y'all reconnect? I said, we never
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: lost touch. We was friends and it was an amazing thing.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: And this weekend was a lot for me because when
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I spoke at Kent, I was close to Cleveland. So
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: on yes on Sunday, on Sunday, I went to my
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: home church, Cleveland, Church of Christ. Wow, I haven't. I
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: haven't been in that building since two thousand and six
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: when I buried my brother. I haven't been back to
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Cleveland since two thousand and six when I buried my brother.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: And it's hard for me to go to Cleveland cause
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: of stuff like that. But I went up there to
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: surprise my sister. And this the one morning my sister
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: wasn't that church. She had fallen the day before at
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: her house and her daughter older. She wasn't going to church.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: She had heard her shoulder. My sister mona. So I
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: walks into church and they just I need a picture,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Brother Harvey. And I was trying to like, I'm looking
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: for my sister. Man, So I didn't really wasn't. And
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: all of a sudden, this woman stepped forward, named sister
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Carol Moore, and she the same age as my sister,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: eighty seven, and man, she was just a spry and
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: chip steal on the nursing board. She said, Brother Steve Harvey,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Lord Jesus, and I said, Carol Moore, Sister Moore. She
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: started crying. She said, Lord, I can't believe you remember me.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I said, I remember you. You was good man. I
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: said where my sister. She didn't come today, so I said,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: where my nephew. Now, my nephew Al is seventeen days
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: older than me. He's well twenty seven days older than me.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: He's a deacon at the church. He sits on the
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: front row. So the church is new. Now, this ain't
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: the same building. So I walked down the aisle and
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: everybody started seeing his meat. They turned around, but my
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: nephew was sitting there. I tapped him on the shoulder,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: I said, brother Brown, can I sit next to you? Man?
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: He looked up at me and just busted out crying.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: I stood down a hug. My dude, here's a person,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: man who I've known my entire life, all sixty six years.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: We grew up together. All my pictures as a kid,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: all my pictures are standing next to him. I had
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: a good day, and my closing remarks was just that
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I had a good day, and I thank God for
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: days like that. I went and took a picture and
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: stood in front of my street sign. Yet though, on Sunday,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: I ain't seen that I had a good day. Yesterday.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: God been good to Steve Harvey Man. He'd probably been
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: good to you too, So y'all to say thank you.
