- 0:17Speaker 1: things in it to me true good, the hart to
- 0:25Speaker 1: mother to please, I don't join jo. You gotta turn you,
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got come Come on your tha huh I shore
- 2:02Speaker 1: will I good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one it all. It's Steve Harvey.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man oh man. Got a radio show. Yo. Trying to
- 2:13Speaker 1: make it work too. I'm not trying. I'm I'm getting it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm getting it done to the best of my abilities. Now,
- 2:22Speaker 1: something funny my father taught me. He said, son, when
- 2:26Speaker 1: you've done all you can do, if you've done your
- 2:29Speaker 1: absolute best and you look up and it didn't get
- 2:34Speaker 1: the job done, take a deep breath and do some more.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That used to bug me, man, when my father used
- 2:44Speaker 1: to tell me. That's the son, when you've done your
- 2:46Speaker 1: absolute best and you think you can't do no more,
- 2:51Speaker 1: you've done all you can and it still don't get
- 2:54Speaker 1: the job done. Take yourself a deep breath and do
- 3:00Speaker 1: some more and you know what I found that has
- 3:04Speaker 1: worked every single time, every single time, because what my
- 3:11Speaker 1: father knew was that what you think is your breaking
- 3:17Speaker 1: point or what you think is your all at all,
- 3:20Speaker 1: he says, son, it's just something about it. Man, if
- 3:24Speaker 1: you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:35Speaker 1: honest with you. It has worked. It has helped me greatly,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and you know it. Everybody does have some more. You know.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I tell that to my sons all the time, that
- 3:45Speaker 1: I did my best. Well, let manage to something else.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:51Speaker 1: a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
- 3:54Speaker 1: bit earlier, could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: well then okay that's what you should have done. Then see,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 1: why you don't get it done, I have a very
- 4:12Speaker 1: very sad statement for you right now. You're never gonna
- 4:18Speaker 1: get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Not to the top. You can get halfway up. Now,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you can get a third of the way up. You
- 4:27Speaker 1: can get three quarters of the way up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 1: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:33Speaker 1: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:37Speaker 1: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 1: the drive and the gut wrenching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 1: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's just the top. There ain't but one top, then
- 4:55Speaker 1: the middle done it ain't it? You know? The top,
- 4:58Speaker 1: the top of the mountain, ha where it's a different view.
- 5:01Speaker 1: At the top, things look different from up top. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: if you want to get to the top of whatever
- 5:08Speaker 1: your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is, you
- 5:15Speaker 1: got to do extra. You have to do more. More
- 5:19Speaker 1: is expected of you. More. But here's what's really crazy.
- 5:22Speaker 1: More is required of you. Don't live your life in
- 5:27Speaker 1: the lackadaisical state. Don't wake up every day with the
- 5:31Speaker 1: feeling of, well, you know, whatever happens happens, nah, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: have us say so in your life you. First of all,
- 5:40Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Who has God named the
- 5:44Speaker 1: person that God has given authority over You named the person?
- 5:50Speaker 1: But who is the person? Nobody has domain over you?
- 5:54Speaker 1: God didn't create that person, So what you're sitting here for, Man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: what are you sitting here for? Letting people who do
- 6:02Speaker 1: not know direct your path? Why are you worried about
- 6:07Speaker 1: all these people with what they got to say about
- 6:09Speaker 1: you and all these people with what they got to
- 6:12Speaker 1: think about you? When here's the news flash, they don't
- 6:15Speaker 1: know either. All these people that you overly concerned about,
- 6:21Speaker 1: all these people that you go into these answers for,
- 6:25Speaker 1: they need answers to stop. What are you doing here?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Gather yourself for a minute. Here is a solution to
- 6:35Speaker 1: all of that. You have one source that will be
- 6:39Speaker 1: there for you to the end of time, and that
- 6:42Speaker 1: is your relationship with God. That is the one thing
- 6:46Speaker 1: that's solid and for show. He's behind the wall. He's
- 6:50Speaker 1: in your jail cell. He rides with you in the
- 6:53Speaker 1: police car. He's with you on your job up at
- 6:56Speaker 1: to school. He's down there in the board meetings with you,
- 7:00Speaker 1: holds with you when you travel on planes. He sits
- 7:03Speaker 1: with you when you're in a relationship. He helps you
- 7:05Speaker 1: with your parenting skills. He helps you. He's there to
- 7:09Speaker 1: assist you. He shows if you do the right things,
- 7:11Speaker 1: he show you and guide you to your next job.
- 7:14Speaker 1: When you lose your job and you think it's a
- 7:16Speaker 1: rap ah. There's some good behind him. Man, God is
- 7:20Speaker 1: always working on your behalf. To those that believe, you,
- 7:23Speaker 1: just gotta believe. He won't ask you for nothing else.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Believe in me. That's all He asks you to do.
- 7:29Speaker 1: What you're tripping for. Man, And then when you make
- 7:31Speaker 1: the decision to believe in him, and it comes out
- 7:35Speaker 1: your mouth from time to time somewhere what you're worried about,
- 7:38Speaker 1: what people say, What you're worried about, what they think for?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Why who are they? They need God to you? You're
- 7:45Speaker 1: telling them you found something new that you're gonna give
- 7:47Speaker 1: this a shot right here. Now. They got some yang
- 7:50Speaker 1: ying yang and some yakety yact to say about that
- 7:53Speaker 1: when they need God too. That's what amazes me, man
- 7:56Speaker 1: about people sit up in here, man, be knocking your
- 7:59Speaker 1: dream as Look, if you're an atheist, man, do your thing,
- 8:03Speaker 1: do your thing. But you can't create no laws? Why
- 8:05Speaker 1: I can't do mine? That don't make no sense, man,
- 8:08Speaker 1: that makes no sense at all to me. You have
- 8:12Speaker 1: the right to go be whatever you want to be.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You know, if you don't, you don't like the fact
- 8:17Speaker 1: that I'm in school. You got my head biled down,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Just don't buy your head. Don't you pray. But if
- 8:25Speaker 1: some kids want to get to God, that's some crazy mass.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's what happened in our schools. We took prayer out
- 8:30Speaker 1: of schools, and now look at our schools. You send
- 8:33Speaker 1: your child to school and and someone else comes back home.
- 8:39Speaker 1: That's a whole other thing right here. That's not what
- 8:41Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about. But I was
- 8:43Speaker 1: just throwing it out because you know, hey, man, your
- 8:46Speaker 1: relationship with God is essential to your success as a person.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It's essential to your existence. It's essential to where you're
- 8:53Speaker 1: trying to go and what you're trying to be. Because
- 8:56Speaker 1: He made you. Why would you not talk to the
- 8:59Speaker 1: person that made you to find out what he created
- 9:02Speaker 1: you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who made
- 9:06Speaker 1: your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 9:13Speaker 1: why you got made? That? Don't that don't make sense
- 9:17Speaker 1: to you? If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation,
- 9:21Speaker 1: you're sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you locked up,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you're doing some time. Man, be a good time for
- 9:27Speaker 1: you to reflect. But whatever your situation is, Man, God
- 9:31Speaker 1: can get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:33Speaker 1: the courage to wherewithal the understanding everything you need, the
- 9:38Speaker 1: wisdom to get you through anything you're going through. You
- 9:41Speaker 1: just got a touch base with him. I need God
- 9:45Speaker 1: every single day of my life. And what he's done
- 9:50Speaker 1: for me. Man off the chain. But guess what he'll
- 9:55Speaker 1: do the same thing for you. You're listening to show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, it is upon us. It's morning time
- 10:05Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey, Morning Shore. It's live and well. I
- 10:07Speaker 1: hope you're doing well today. I want you to start
- 10:10Speaker 1: this day off everybody with the right attitude. When you
- 10:13Speaker 1: wake up in the morning, be grateful. Don't be one
- 10:16Speaker 1: of them people talk about, I'm not an early riser.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Well that's not a good attitude. I don't like mornings.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's the worst attitude. I'm not a morning person. Well
- 10:28Speaker 1: it's morning every day. Are you kidding me? One of
- 10:33Speaker 1: the times that you should be at your most grateful,
- 10:35Speaker 1: it's when you wake up in the morning. I know
- 10:38Speaker 1: I am, So let's get at it. This is Steve
- 10:41Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Act like you're glad about it, Sherlly
- 10:44Speaker 1: Strawberry calling Junior and morning time everybody, what grateful morning,
- 10:54Speaker 1: grateful you all right? Yeah, you know what. I can't
- 11:00Speaker 1: watch the trial. Yeah, I'm not watch Yeah, I mean,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I don't watching it. There's nothing for me. I just
- 11:08Speaker 1: you know, you know, you know how I can't stand.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I can't stand to watch them try to get this
- 11:14Speaker 1: man free. Oh yeah, I can't stand. What they've done
- 11:21Speaker 1: is they've tried to put George Floyd's character on trial
- 11:25Speaker 1: instead of the police officers. If you watch that video
- 11:32Speaker 1: board of the prosecutions, I mean, from what I've heard
- 11:38Speaker 1: you exactly, Yet it's going very well almost. Lord, I'm
- 11:45Speaker 1: so scared behind closed doors. But just based on the jury,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I don't see how I can. But it just needs
- 11:51Speaker 1: one person. Yeah yeah, but we all saw it though
- 11:56Speaker 1: we all saw it. Well. I'm I think he's gonna
- 12:01Speaker 1: be found guilty on a lot of accounts and he's
- 12:03Speaker 1: gonna have to do some time because if he don't,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something, it's not gonna be good, y'all.
- 12:09Speaker 1: It's just not gonna be good. And it ain't a
- 12:10Speaker 1: whole lot I'm gonna be able to say yeah, yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know that's the unfortunate truth is, yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: you want justice home. A lot of people want justice,
- 12:23Speaker 1: not just black people brown, right. A lot of people
- 12:27Speaker 1: saw this. It's I've never seen non African Americans be
- 12:32Speaker 1: this angry about an injustice before. But it's, like you said,
- 12:36Speaker 1: because everyone was home last year, we had a chance
- 12:39Speaker 1: to watch it. They saw what we talk about with
- 12:42Speaker 1: the police. You can't run from all that right in
- 12:45Speaker 1: your face. I saw a white lady on TikTok saying,
- 12:50Speaker 1: you all are pronouncing Derek Chauvin's named wrong. It's French.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It's murderer. I said, my sister, I thought you were
- 13:04Speaker 1: gonna say Chauvan. No, she said it's murderer. I said, oh,
- 13:10Speaker 1: this was an older one woman. So, like you said, Steve,
- 13:12Speaker 1: all races. Everyone was outraged. I saw a man commit
- 13:17Speaker 1: murder on live TV, no real time, and sad to
- 13:24Speaker 1: saint because I am who I'm from, and at because
- 13:27Speaker 1: I am as old as I am. I've seen it before. Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: I've witnessed it before, and the whole world. So they
- 13:33Speaker 1: saw it in Germany. All right, Steve, We'll have more
- 13:37Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty
- 13:39Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, asked the cello. Right after this,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Coming up at
- 13:47Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Bishop TD Jakes will be
- 13:50Speaker 1: our very special guest. Bishop will tell us all about
- 13:53Speaker 1: the premieres of his two new movies Seven Deadly Sin Story,
- 13:57Speaker 1: Lust and End. We can't wait to talk to the Bishop,
- 14:02Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 14:06Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building. This one
- 14:10Speaker 1: is from May in Culver City, California. It says, in
- 14:14Speaker 1: regards to your Live Strawberry letter with the Cheating Man,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I have a similar situation. I had an affair on
- 14:20Speaker 1: my husband and the first time I cheated, I got pregnant.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I couldn't let my husband raise another man's child without
- 14:27Speaker 1: knowing it, so I had a DNA test and confessed.
- 14:30Speaker 1: My husband chose to stay in the marriage and raise
- 14:34Speaker 1: the child as his own. But whenever the spirit hits him,
- 14:38Speaker 1: he calls me names and makes my life miserable. In
- 14:42Speaker 1: this case, is to force a better choice or are
- 14:45Speaker 1: his actions justified? WHOA I mean? Whoa you know? Let
- 14:52Speaker 1: me let me do like women should all do. If
- 14:56Speaker 1: the shoe was on the other foot and your husband
- 15:00Speaker 1: went outside the marriage and had another baby and you
- 15:04Speaker 1: decided to stay, would you not call him a bunch
- 15:10Speaker 1: of names whenever the spirit hit? How about every birthday? Yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 1: that's all the Christmas money, when that child support going
- 15:19Speaker 1: out the dough. I think it's a heck of a
- 15:22Speaker 1: man to stay and raise it as his own, and
- 15:26Speaker 1: then he spared you the shame of it. But I mean, well,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you're gonna throw an inter facing. The thing about saying
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm sorry is it that don't fix it. He may
- 15:39Speaker 1: eventually stop doing it, But if you can't take it
- 15:43Speaker 1: and you want to get a divorce, that's on you. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 1: but what to do that they gave you the baby
- 15:49Speaker 1: at in the firth or where he at? She didn't say, Steve, Well,
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't see him raising his hand volunteer. And I
- 15:57Speaker 1: ain't saying stay and take any form of abuse. That's
- 16:00Speaker 1: not what I'm saying, because that's not right at any level,
- 16:04Speaker 1: you know. But he gonna he's gonna throw it up
- 16:08Speaker 1: in your face every nine and I don't know how
- 16:10Speaker 1: that works. I'd be easy. I'm not really sure I
- 16:14Speaker 1: could do that, So I don't think I'm a perfect
- 16:16Speaker 1: person happy. I think once you do it, you gotta
- 16:18Speaker 1: you gotta gotta accept it. But you can't keep throwing
- 16:21Speaker 1: it back out of if you decide you gon I
- 16:24Speaker 1: sound real good, right, I mean that's sound good exactly,
- 16:27Speaker 1: but right if you're gonna say you're gonna accept the
- 16:29Speaker 1: baby and raise them as your own. But but so
- 16:33Speaker 1: much of the time, I don't know. I don't know
- 16:35Speaker 1: if I could take that could be human. So it's
- 16:38Speaker 1: gonna be some moments. Yeah, absolutely absolutely. Um all right,
- 16:43Speaker 1: we're moving on. Joseph and the Bronx. CLO says, my
- 16:46Speaker 1: boss and I have the same birthday, so we went
- 16:48Speaker 1: out two weeks ago after work and celebrate it. She's
- 16:52Speaker 1: got a husband that's very jealous hearted, so she told
- 16:55Speaker 1: him we were where she was going and invited him
- 16:58Speaker 1: to join us. We invite other co workers, but they
- 17:01Speaker 1: didn't show up. My boss's husband was waiting for us.
- 17:04Speaker 1: As we walked out of the restaurant, he got in
- 17:08Speaker 1: my face and said he'd beat my Um um M
- 17:13Speaker 1: if I ever tried anything with his wife. I was
- 17:16Speaker 1: ticked off and wanted to fight him, But I need
- 17:20Speaker 1: my job. How do I settle this. Come on, cello, Well,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I mean, bro, you can't go out with the man's
- 17:27Speaker 1: wife no more. Period. I don't give a damn y'all
- 17:31Speaker 1: got the same birthday his boss. I don't care. She
- 17:36Speaker 1: got her husband, she invited him, he didn't go. He
- 17:40Speaker 1: probably walked up to the door and saw y'all sitting
- 17:42Speaker 1: over there by yourself and decided not to go in
- 17:45Speaker 1: because he's gonna handle it outside. So now what nobody?
- 17:49Speaker 1: So now he'd been told you what you want me
- 17:52Speaker 1: to do? Hey, look, apologize sending a man a letter.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Tell him you didn't mean no harm. It won't happen again,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and it won't happen again. She can't fire you for
- 18:02Speaker 1: this now, homie. Oh, I didn't took the class. She
- 18:09Speaker 1: cannot fire you for this. Hr Yeah, because according to
- 18:15Speaker 1: the class I took, she has created a hostile work
- 18:18Speaker 1: environment for you. You felt obligated to go because it
- 18:22Speaker 1: was your boss had you go to celebrate the birthday.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You didn't want to say no because you didn't want
- 18:27Speaker 1: to affect your job. Now you feel like it's a
- 18:29Speaker 1: hostile environment because her damn husband all in your face.
- 18:34Speaker 1: And that's in the class that's been the class just
- 18:40Speaker 1: took it, So how should he settle attend? Steve? And
- 18:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you, sir, as an active bystander, which is
- 18:50Speaker 1: what I'm being, just apologizing. I would apologize to the
- 18:56Speaker 1: man and get it on record that I had to
- 18:59Speaker 1: apologize to him. Yeah, because he's not his boss, all right,
- 19:08Speaker 1: and he can't fight back because his wife is his boss.
- 19:12Speaker 1: No no, no, no right yeah, hand your business boy,
- 19:17Speaker 1: you go all right, that's better, all right, Sophia Sophia
- 19:22Speaker 1: in Dallas. HR offices are usually never in pockets. Sophia
- 19:30Speaker 1: and Dallas says. I'm forty two years old and I'm
- 19:32Speaker 1: dating a man that's eleven years younger than I am.
- 19:35Speaker 1: We're both financially secure, and we've both got nice houses.
- 19:39Speaker 1: After a year of dating, I finally met his mom
- 19:42Speaker 1: when she came to visit him. His mom asked my age,
- 19:45Speaker 1: and I thought he had told her that I was older.
- 19:47Speaker 1: She started calling me a sugar mama and pointed out
- 19:50Speaker 1: that she's only twelve years older than me. He didn't
- 19:53Speaker 1: defend me and said it's not that big of a deal.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Am I overthinking it? Well, he didn't defendon twelve years
- 20:02Speaker 1: younger than mama eleven years older than him, seven years
- 20:06Speaker 1: older than him. So what are you saying, CLO got
- 20:11Speaker 1: sugar mama wrote on it to me. But if y'all
- 20:16Speaker 1: in a good place, and y'all got a good relationship,
- 20:18Speaker 1: whose business isn't it? Really ain't his mama's business, y'all,
- 20:23Speaker 1: y'all been at this for a year. But that's the thing.
- 20:26Speaker 1: He didn't speak up. He didn't say anything to his
- 20:29Speaker 1: mom when she started calling her names, well, sugar mama,
- 20:33Speaker 1: kind of sweet though, you know, sugar. Oh stop, you know,
- 20:38Speaker 1: way better than that shade with sugar Mama, better than
- 20:43Speaker 1: black ass cougar. Now, come on, come on, all right, well,
- 20:49Speaker 1: thank you, Clo. Coming up next, the nephew would run
- 20:52Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening show coming
- 20:58Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Bishop TD Jakes
- 21:01Speaker 1: will be our special guest. Bishop will tell us all
- 21:04Speaker 1: about the premieres of his new movies, A seven Deadly
- 21:07Speaker 1: Sin Story, Lust and Envy. We'll get to that, but
- 21:11Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here. We'll run that prank back.
- 21:14Speaker 1: What you got for us, nap, let me do this
- 21:16Speaker 1: for we bring the Bishop in booty drop, Oh my love,
- 21:24Speaker 1: don't don't tell him I did this, but this is

- 21:59Speaker 1: wanted to see if you be interested in being a
- 22:02Speaker 1: part of the app. And what we got going, well,
- 22:04Speaker 1: I don't even know who who would give you my information?
- 22:08Speaker 1: What is it? I don't I don't know. I don't
- 22:10Speaker 1: know who who's who gave us your number or whatever,
- 22:13Speaker 1: but they just told us you would be good for
- 22:15Speaker 1: being on the on the app tomorrow morning. Like I said,
- 22:18Speaker 1: we're feend to go live, so we're trying to get
- 22:19Speaker 1: pictures and videos in today so we can give them all.
- 22:24Speaker 1: What is this app? What you want some pictures? Yeah?
- 22:27Speaker 1: We see this app is uh, this app is called
- 22:29Speaker 1: Booty Drop, and what we do is people people. Yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 1: so what happens is people send a video they dropping
- 22:36Speaker 1: their booty, or you could just send a picture of
- 22:38Speaker 1: your behind. Have you want to do it? You know
- 22:40Speaker 1: we're gonna make it look real good or whatever. But
- 22:42Speaker 1: you know you're gonna you know, you represent. But this
- 22:44Speaker 1: is the new social media outlet that people are gonna
- 22:47Speaker 1: be communicating with. But this is Booty Drop and we're
- 22:49Speaker 1: getting ready to drop this tomorrow morning. Like I said,
- 22:52Speaker 1: like eleven o'clock tomorrow, it's gonna go. It's gonna go live,
- 22:55Speaker 1: so you'll be able to see yourself on there. What
- 22:58Speaker 1: ain't about booty drop? Uh, y'all? You got me messed up.
- 23:02Speaker 1: I don't drop no booty for nobody but my man. Okay,
- 23:05Speaker 1: So I don't know who told you I was gonna
- 23:07Speaker 1: be on here, but I'm not doing no booty dropping. Okay,
- 23:10Speaker 1: So hold on, okay, hold on, hold on, hold on
- 23:12Speaker 1: all right. First of all, somebody recommended you, you know,
- 23:15Speaker 1: like I say, hold on now, we got all the
- 23:18Speaker 1: slides field itself for this one. So you know I
- 23:21Speaker 1: don't want to I don't want to have our app there,
- 23:23Speaker 1: and then we ain't got everything on there we need,
- 23:25Speaker 1: so we gotta have you to do this. Look, well,
- 23:28Speaker 1: there's a lot of booties. Okay, I'm not the only one,
- 23:32Speaker 1: you know, thank you. No, ain't gonna be no booty.
- 23:34Speaker 1: So I'm assuming you know I don't mean no hard
- 23:37Speaker 1: like I said this case, I don't mean no harm.
- 23:39Speaker 1: But let me ask you this here. So evidently you
- 23:41Speaker 1: must have a butt that people admire. If you know,
- 23:44Speaker 1: if they put your name on here, then you must
- 23:46Speaker 1: have a butt that they admired. You know what I mean.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as gentleman as possible. You understand
- 23:50Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Uh? Is it a reason why you
- 23:52Speaker 1: don't want to, you know, participate? What ain't nobody's gonna
- 23:56Speaker 1: be putting their booty on the internet for some app No? No, okay,
- 24:02Speaker 1: so let me ask you this hit you ain't You
- 24:04Speaker 1: ain't on none of the other social media unless you
- 24:06Speaker 1: don't have no pictures on there or nothing like that,
- 24:08Speaker 1: not with my booty. No, So you're just trying to
- 24:11Speaker 1: tell me that all your pictures are from the waist up. No,
- 24:15Speaker 1: they're not awesome to waist up. But I'm not about
- 24:17Speaker 1: to be flashing my booty and jiggling it for your app.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But but, but see, you don't understand what booty drop
- 24:22Speaker 1: can do for you. Booty Drop. Booty Drop can bring
- 24:25Speaker 1: a lot of attention, you know to you. You know
- 24:28Speaker 1: you're gonna you're gonna meet a lot of people on
- 24:31Speaker 1: this booty Drop app. And that's what I'm gonna trying
- 24:33Speaker 1: to say is I don't want you to knock it
- 24:34Speaker 1: till you try it. Now, I say, we put your
- 24:37Speaker 1: booty on there for the first week, and you see
- 24:39Speaker 1: how many it hits you get, and if you don't
- 24:41Speaker 1: like it, then we take it down. That's how I'm saying.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Just you know, let me tell you something. You're not
- 24:47Speaker 1: about to put my booty on no app? Talking about
- 24:51Speaker 1: give it a week? You know I got a brain, right.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Ain't nobody about to be looking at my booty for
- 24:55Speaker 1: a week on the internet. Get All I'm saying is
- 24:58Speaker 1: give your booty a week. That's all I'm saying. Your
- 25:00Speaker 1: booty we gonna time. We're good. No, not putting my
- 25:04Speaker 1: booty on the internet. So okay, are you um insecure
- 25:08Speaker 1: about yourself? No? I feel great about myself. That's why
- 25:11Speaker 1: I can say No. Let me just say this to you. Now,
- 25:15Speaker 1: when once Booty Drop blow up and become a big
- 25:18Speaker 1: a big time social media then you know, social outlet,
- 25:22Speaker 1: then you're gonna be wanting to get back on here.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And I'm gonna be honest with your k Dub. I
- 25:25Speaker 1: ain't gonna want your own here no more because or
- 25:27Speaker 1: the way you're acting with me. Now, well that's okay,
- 25:30Speaker 1: K Dub, you do you Bruce, it's not happening. I'll
- 25:34Speaker 1: go ahead and follow y'all tomorrow, but I'm not about
- 25:36Speaker 1: to be on there. So you don't want to be
- 25:38Speaker 1: a star. I'm trying to make you a star, is
- 25:40Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say. I'm all right, I don't
- 25:43Speaker 1: think I'm gonna be an Instagram star from my booty jiggling.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I'm okay, there's plenty of people doing that already. You're
- 25:49Speaker 1: you're fine, somebody to get that slot. I'm just trying
- 25:52Speaker 1: to make you a star, That's all I'm do. You
- 25:55Speaker 1: know what I'm really well, I really want to know
- 25:56Speaker 1: it's who the FA told you to call me this?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Some or bulls. Nobody needs this. You don't call me
- 26:02Speaker 1: talking about you want to street my booty. Who do
- 26:05Speaker 1: you think I am? Better question, who do you think
- 26:06Speaker 1: you are? This is some books black women don't have
- 26:10Speaker 1: trying for this. You need to call talking about you
- 26:12Speaker 1: gonna pay some bills. That's what you need to call
- 26:14Speaker 1: talking about. Don't call me talking about no booties. I'm sorry. What.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Don't call me talking about no booties. Call me talking
- 26:23Speaker 1: about you want to pay some student loans. Tell me
- 26:25Speaker 1: you're trying to pay a car. No, don't call me
- 26:27Speaker 1: talking about you want to see my booty on the internet.
- 26:30Speaker 1: This is so ridiculous, Like, what is this book? Okay, okay, okay,
- 26:36Speaker 1: So I guess it's safe to say you ain't gonna
- 26:39Speaker 1: drop your booty. Ain't nobody dropping no booty. I'm launching
- 26:42Speaker 1: this tomorrow. I'm launching a whole lot of booty tomorrow,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and I'm gonna have one space empty. You see. Well,
- 26:48Speaker 1: this is yeah, this is a great lesson in being prepared,
- 26:51Speaker 1: starting early, because you're gonna encounter some nos. Brother, No,
- 26:54Speaker 1: but really, who do I need to know? Who gave
- 26:57Speaker 1: you my number? Like? Really? Who thought that was a
- 27:00Speaker 1: good idea? No? Really? Because you dodged in the question.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I don't appreciate that. I need to know, like who?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Like I said, I don't know who gave you. I
- 27:07Speaker 1: don't know, I don't My job is to get booty

- 29:35Speaker 1: Glenn Staples one time refer to him as the greatest
- 29:38Speaker 1: preacher of all times. I gotta tell you something that
- 29:42Speaker 1: is a bona fide fact. This is a bad man
- 29:46Speaker 1: right here. Man, but he's, but he, but he's He's
- 29:49Speaker 1: done so many different things, though I've never seen a
- 29:53Speaker 1: dude reinvent himself more times than this man right here.
- 29:56Speaker 1: He's an award winning producer, he's a bestselling author. He
- 30:00Speaker 1: got a new book that's available now and it's entitled
- 30:03Speaker 1: Don't Drop the Mic. And he's got a brand new
- 30:06Speaker 1: movie on Lifetime Network is called a seven Deadly Sins story,
- 30:11Speaker 1: Lust and Envy. He's my good friend and spiritual advisor
- 30:15Speaker 1: to many, but I can't tell you how many times
- 30:18Speaker 1: I didn't called him. So this is my dude man
- 30:21Speaker 1: for real. So let's just get to it. Please, welcome

- 30:30Speaker 1: It's a pleasure to bear. Man. You you you doing

- 31:00Speaker 1: Kerrie Hilson, Tank, Miss Juicy and LaToya Luck. So tell
- 31:04Speaker 1: us about LUs. Not that I need to know anything
- 31:07Speaker 1: about lust. Let me back up just a little bit
- 31:15Speaker 1: to say that I did my first movie was like
- 31:18Speaker 1: tip Faces under Fire. It was the story about infid
- 31:22Speaker 1: Tough and it was really, really highly rated, And so
- 31:26Speaker 1: they green light. It's just sucking the third project, Seven
- 31:30Speaker 1: Deadly Sins, and hopefully they'll green light the other five. Uh,
- 31:34Speaker 1: if our support is strong enough. But we show it
- 31:38Speaker 1: in it. We had a great time doing it. Uh.
- 31:41Speaker 1: It's got a lot of intrigue and a lot of mystery.
- 31:45Speaker 1: We're working our way through the Seven Deadly Sins. And
- 31:48Speaker 1: by the time we get to glutton in Overweight, I'm
- 31:51Speaker 1: gonna be twenty pounds smaller if I could. Lord Kobe,
- 32:02Speaker 1: it hasn't been me, boy, ain't it? Man? Oh God?
- 32:07Speaker 1: Lunch up in the house with your refrigerator can't really
- 32:11Speaker 1: best up, Jill Close. I lost weight doing COVID and
- 32:17Speaker 1: then put it back on. Yeah, that's why I keep
- 32:20Speaker 1: doing it. I lose it and then I pod. You know,
- 32:25Speaker 1: you know, my wife siss behind me. But so y'all
- 32:31Speaker 1: that's tomorrow. Then on next Saturday, April seventeenth, the second
- 32:35Speaker 1: story premiers on Lifetime and it's Envy, a seven Delhi
- 32:38Speaker 1: seeing story and it's starting Candy Burrs, Candy Burrs, the Brat,
- 32:44Speaker 1: DC Young Fly, Clifton Powe, just to name a few.
- 32:48Speaker 1: So and then Envy, I guess that's the second Dinny
- 32:51Speaker 1: seeing him. Yeah, it will be next Saturday, not this Saturday.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Say this this Saturday will be lost and then the
- 32:58Speaker 1: following week will be in the And they both turned
- 33:01Speaker 1: an APM on Saturday. And it's a great cash it's
- 33:06Speaker 1: got a great plot to it, it's entertaining, it's powerful,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and it's got a message to it. Do yeah, well
- 33:12Speaker 1: you always make sure that happens. Now, let's talk about this.
- 33:16Speaker 1: We've got a new book. It's called Don't Drop the Mic. Now,
- 33:19Speaker 1: this book focuses on the importance of communicating effectively. Tell
- 33:22Speaker 1: us a little bit about the book and who is
- 33:24Speaker 1: the book for. Well, the book is for anybody who
- 33:29Speaker 1: whether you speak publicly, whether you're a litigator, whether you're
- 33:33Speaker 1: a comedian, whether you're a preacher. I spent a great
- 33:36Speaker 1: time to great deal time obviously talking about how to
- 33:39Speaker 1: unlock the treasures of the texts and how they extrapolate
- 33:42Speaker 1: from the texts of things that you need, how to
- 33:45Speaker 1: be able to talk in different settings and situations, being
- 33:50Speaker 1: being what I call about legal enough to be in
- 33:53Speaker 1: a board room and then to be on the stage.
- 33:55Speaker 1: It's something you would really appreciate. But it goes deeper
- 33:58Speaker 1: than that. It really goes down even communicating with people
- 34:02Speaker 1: that we disagree with. We stopped talking to people that
- 34:05Speaker 1: we disagree with, and it's it's affected the country, it's
- 34:09Speaker 1: affected our marriages. We've we've lost the art of communications.
- 34:14Speaker 1: We've replaced the Guennisburg address with emojis and and if
- 34:20Speaker 1: you're gonna do anything amazing, if you're gonna be another
- 34:24Speaker 1: Nuns a Mandela change the world, you're gonna do it
- 34:27Speaker 1: with the mic about with a gun. If you're gonna
- 34:30Speaker 1: hold your marriage together, you're gonna have to learn how
- 34:32Speaker 1: to communicate and express yourself or it's not gonna work
- 34:35Speaker 1: effectively without vickery. So I cover a wide array of
- 34:39Speaker 1: different things social, from social justice to what we can
- 34:44Speaker 1: learn from comedians at timing, to what you can the
- 34:48Speaker 1: art of preaching, to the art of making a presentation
- 34:51Speaker 1: in a board room. I cover everything, and most importantly,
- 34:55Speaker 1: most importantly what I'm dealing with. I'm seeing the John
- 34:59Speaker 1: lewis Is of the world, the great preachers of the
- 35:01Speaker 1: world of my generation and the older slipping away. And
- 35:06Speaker 1: I'm kind of given a tu toil to who's up next,
- 35:09Speaker 1: what we learned, what we did right, what we did wrong,
- 35:13Speaker 1: so that what we've built will continue from generation to generation.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Kind of legacy. Bu you know, copy man, Yeah, I
- 35:22Speaker 1: gotta get a copy of that too, men, because one
- 35:25Speaker 1: thing about you, Bishop, You've always not only taught the lesson,
- 35:29Speaker 1: but explain the reasoning. See, it's one thing tell the
- 35:32Speaker 1: person to do something, but to tell him how to
- 35:34Speaker 1: how to do it, that's a whole another ball game.
- 35:37Speaker 1: You know, absolutely, man, I think that's power. I gotta
- 35:41Speaker 1: get the ball. Hey, Bishop, hang on right there. When
- 35:43Speaker 1: we come back, everybody, we got special guest, Bishop tg Jakes.
- 35:47Speaker 1: We're gonna talk when we come back. He's got a
- 35:50Speaker 1: very special this is important. Everybody got a virtual international
- 35:54Speaker 1: leadership coming up at the end of this month, April
- 35:58Speaker 1: twenty nine through May one. It's for everybody. You don't
- 36:01Speaker 1: want to miss this. We're gonna have details when We
- 36:03Speaker 1: come back right after this with Bishop td Jakes. You're listening,
- 36:09Speaker 1: all right, We're back everybody with our longtime friend, family member,
- 36:13Speaker 1: Bishop td Jakes. We got so many people right now
- 36:16Speaker 1: who are needing to reinvent themselves. Job that's turned over,
- 36:21Speaker 1: entrepreneurship is in an uproar. The economy's got a crazy
- 36:26Speaker 1: and I think it's going to help people to walk
- 36:28Speaker 1: into an interview, to walk into a boardroom, to picture
- 36:32Speaker 1: movie deal to picture business deal, to definitely to deliver
- 36:37Speaker 1: a sermon. You can't just be a comedian. You also
- 36:41Speaker 1: have to be a business person. You have to negotiate,
- 36:45Speaker 1: You have to deal with staff, and people don't understand
- 36:48Speaker 1: how much goes on behind the things. They only see
- 36:51Speaker 1: what you do upfront. But there's a whole there in
- 36:55Speaker 1: the dining room, but you do all the work in
- 36:57Speaker 1: the kitchen. Yeah all right, man, you know, so understand
- 37:04Speaker 1: and what we underestimate before we reduce them down to
- 37:08Speaker 1: what we see. Never recognize it that they paid staff,
- 37:12Speaker 1: that they've dealt with staff, againsues, they run a business,
- 37:15Speaker 1: they've negotiated, they've litigated, they bought. We as a people,
- 37:21Speaker 1: we don't get there. We don't fight our way up
- 37:23Speaker 1: and don't drop the mic. G's telling the next generation
- 37:26Speaker 1: how to leverage the fight and how to speak in
- 37:30Speaker 1: such a way that you can be heard. Now, let's
- 37:34Speaker 1: get into another thing. I'd be happy to join you
- 37:37Speaker 1: at the end of this month for your Virtual International
- 37:40Speaker 1: Leadership Summit. Listen to you all virtual. This year's summit's
- 37:45Speaker 1: gonna be transformative summit for those interested in becoming leaders
- 37:49Speaker 1: up tomorrow and to join us at the summit, all
- 37:51Speaker 1: you gotta do is register online at this is ils
- 37:56Speaker 1: dot org. Bishop tell us about the summit, Well, you know,
- 37:59Speaker 1: we could leadership conferences for a while and we draw
- 38:03Speaker 1: a lot of preachers that we draw a lot of
- 38:05Speaker 1: staff from churches obviously, but we started recognizing we're drawing
- 38:09Speaker 1: more and more business people, entrepreneurs, so we've broadened our
- 38:12Speaker 1: borders and we're happy to announce that you're going to
- 38:16Speaker 1: be one of our keynote speakers. We've got Tyler Ferry
- 38:19Speaker 1: that's going to be speaking. We've got Dave Stewards, who
- 38:24Speaker 1: is one of the fourteen black billionaires in the country
- 38:28Speaker 1: in the world. He's gonna be speaking. We've got a
- 38:31Speaker 1: wide Byron Island. It's going to be speaking. I've got
- 38:34Speaker 1: several preachers, Michael Todd, it's going to be speaking, keyr
- 38:39Speaker 1: and Anderson, a whole host of preachers that are going
- 38:41Speaker 1: to be speaking. But then in the workshops, we're gonna
- 38:44Speaker 1: get down to social media. Everybody's had to make sharp transitions.
- 38:51Speaker 1: How do you deal with streaming and social media and
- 38:54Speaker 1: the I part of it, and the tech part of it,
- 38:57Speaker 1: and the creative arts and the innovation about it. We're
- 39:01Speaker 1: gonna get down into how you serve in public relations
- 39:05Speaker 1: and accounting and how you set up different companies LFPs
- 39:11Speaker 1: five and one th threes, what you can and cannot
- 39:15Speaker 1: do because there's a change of a shift coming. Many
- 39:19Speaker 1: corporations are starting to allocate money for startup businesses. The
- 39:24Speaker 1: information we need to know are Bishop, hang on for
- 39:27Speaker 1: us one more minute, please, sir. We'll be right back.
- 39:29Speaker 1: We got more from Bishop td Jakes when we come back.
- 39:32Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, We're back with family member, Bishop
- 39:39Speaker 1: td Jakes. The pandemic has changed a lot of things.
- 39:43Speaker 1: That are some things that are not going back to
- 39:45Speaker 1: the way it was because now companies see that they
- 39:48Speaker 1: can save money when people work from home. That are
- 39:51Speaker 1: some companies that are just gone and not coming back.
- 39:54Speaker 1: So it's going to force a lot of people to,
- 39:57Speaker 1: like you just said, reinvent themselves. And I think that's
- 40:00Speaker 1: what you're talking about is so important about this summit.
- 40:03Speaker 1: It's getting this information so you can get ahead of it,
- 40:06Speaker 1: because y'all you sitting around sometimes when these doors closed,
- 40:10Speaker 1: you keep standing there waiting on that door to open
- 40:12Speaker 1: up again. At that door might not open up again.
- 40:14Speaker 1: And I think this summit could play an important role
- 40:17Speaker 1: in that. You know, That's that's what we intend for
- 40:21Speaker 1: it to do. I have been blessed, You have been
- 40:24Speaker 1: blessed to have an opportunity to build relationships with people
- 40:29Speaker 1: that everybody doesn't get to talk to. And so what
- 40:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is leverage my influence to bring
- 40:36Speaker 1: people like yourself and others to the stage so that
- 40:39Speaker 1: they can hear in mind only what you do, but
- 40:42Speaker 1: how you did it and what you thought and how
- 40:45Speaker 1: you function in that capacity. So we've got people who
- 40:48Speaker 1: have owned the basketball leagues, We've got people who have
- 40:51Speaker 1: owned businesses. We've got people who have done entertainment like yourself.
- 40:55Speaker 1: We've got people built studios, we've got people who built
- 40:59Speaker 1: technical operations, and so we're talking about everything, and we're
- 41:03Speaker 1: having church, we're talking about ministry, we're talking about leaving
- 41:07Speaker 1: a staff, we're talking about making a shift. I have
- 41:10Speaker 1: been operating my church for a year with the doors closed.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Whenever I thought in all of my life that I
- 41:18Speaker 1: would have to keep three hundred people on payroll, wild clothes,
- 41:23Speaker 1: And what does it take to do that? And how
- 41:27Speaker 1: can you do that and still remain effective. We've fed
- 41:29Speaker 1: people during the pandemic. We've set up stations for the
- 41:35Speaker 1: vaccine during the pandemic. We have fed first responders when
- 41:40Speaker 1: people were dying. We've conducted funerals, and we did it
- 41:43Speaker 1: all with the doors closed. So you had to be innovative,
- 41:47Speaker 1: you had to be creative, and you had to try
- 41:50Speaker 1: to go under. And so we want to pass on
- 41:53Speaker 1: some information because a lot of people are discouraged and
- 41:56Speaker 1: given up. But I don't believe there's a time to
- 41:59Speaker 1: give up. Leave this for time to get up. And
- 42:02Speaker 1: I think that if we share information, we're better together
- 42:05Speaker 1: than we are first. So right, so listen to everybody.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Knowledge is power. This is how you register go to
- 42:13Speaker 1: This is i ls dot org real simple, This is
- 42:19Speaker 1: i ls dot org. Sign up and register, man, and
- 42:25Speaker 1: be a part of this great event. And while you

- 42:30Speaker 1: I promise you I'm getting to come. I'm always looking
- 42:33Speaker 1: for a way to be better. I'm always trying to
- 42:35Speaker 1: find a way to improve myself. You can't get satisfied here, man,
- 42:39Speaker 1: this thing. Change it. It's change it fads, It's change
- 42:43Speaker 1: your fads. And I really think it's important. I think
- 42:46Speaker 1: it's a great time. In the midst of all of
- 42:49Speaker 1: the disruption, there's still opportunities. And I don't want to
- 42:54Speaker 1: disruption to so discourage people that they give up on
- 42:57Speaker 1: their dream. There are opportunities. The level of speakers I
- 43:01Speaker 1: got coming is unprecedented. From Byron Island, who holds the
- 43:05Speaker 1: Weather Channel, the Tyler Parent to Yourself, to Undown. A
- 43:09Speaker 1: lot of people who have sustained ministry had to shift
- 43:13Speaker 1: gears and do things a different kind of way. Young
- 43:17Speaker 1: Preacher and Tulsa Michael Todd, who is exploding even during
- 43:22Speaker 1: a pandemic. Those types of opportunities. My daughters will be there,
- 43:26Speaker 1: I will be there. My wife is gonna be there speaking,
- 43:30Speaker 1: So you're gonna be able to hear a lot of
- 43:32Speaker 1: different fronts I, how to protect yourself, how to build
- 43:36Speaker 1: something online, how to create a business through technology. All
- 43:41Speaker 1: of that's going to be available for you to pick
- 43:44Speaker 1: up and learn from. And you want to recreate your life,

- 44:09Speaker 1: following Saturday the seventeenth, at eight pm, seven pm Central,
- 44:14Speaker 1: Envy will be on Bishop Ja. We love you man,
- 44:18Speaker 1: Thank you so much, sir, Thank you. Be sure to
- 44:21Speaker 1: pick up this book too. Don't drop the mic coming
- 44:24Speaker 1: up next, and is the nephew with the prank phone
- 44:26Speaker 1: call for today. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 44:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, today is a busy Friday.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Guys coming up in about an hour, fresh off the
- 44:37Speaker 1: versus Battled d Nice will be special guy to tell
- 44:43Speaker 1: us about his brand new song No Plans for Love.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Also get ready at the top of the hour, right
- 44:49Speaker 1: about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today.
- 44:51Speaker 1: The subject he's got two different personalities, all right, two
- 44:56Speaker 1: different I thought this letter was about Tommy at first.
- 44:59Speaker 1: But oh well, we'll find out. We'll find out. We'll
- 45:04Speaker 1: get to the letter in just a bit, because right
- 45:06Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 45:09Speaker 1: What you got? Now? Well, I hate the prank right
- 45:11Speaker 1: after the bishop, you know that just don't feel right
- 45:14Speaker 1: right after bop, you know, but bishop said, you know, hey,
- 45:20Speaker 1: what did he just said? He just ministered? Yeah, I
- 45:23Speaker 1: got to be the best pranker I can be. So
- 45:26Speaker 1: the title is pump your brakes, Mama, pump yo break,
- 45:32Speaker 1: Let's go, Kat Doe. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 45:37Speaker 1: Natalie please, Yeah, Natalie, Natalie, how you doing? My name
- 45:42Speaker 1: is Darren. I'm with your homeowners Association. Oh okay, hey,
- 45:46Speaker 1: dare how you doing? Listen? Um, we gotta we got
- 45:52Speaker 1: a bit of a problem, if you don't mind me asking,
- 45:55Speaker 1: who's who who actually brings your kids on from school? Uh?
- 45:59Speaker 1: Each day? Oh, my mom gets my kids for me
- 46:03Speaker 1: and she drops them off. Okay, okay, okay, well we
- 46:08Speaker 1: have a we have a bit of a problem. The
- 46:11Speaker 1: kids are fine. There's there's no issue with the kids
- 46:13Speaker 1: at all. But you know, we've had a meeting here
- 46:16Speaker 1: at the HLA. We've been getting some complaints. Uh it
- 46:20Speaker 1: seems like your mother is is uh really speeding down
- 46:25Speaker 1: the street real fast, and you know everyone's complaining about it.
- 46:30Speaker 1: That's you know, it's a lot of kids walking home
- 46:32Speaker 1: from school and it seems like your mom is driving
- 46:35Speaker 1: real fast when she's coming down the street to drop
- 46:38Speaker 1: your kids off. If you know anything about this, uh no,
- 46:43Speaker 1: not at all. That doesn't even sound like her. Okay,
- 46:47Speaker 1: what type of cards? Uh, let me ask you this, Natalie.
- 46:51Speaker 1: We're we're we're from what I understand, it is a
- 46:56Speaker 1: what kind of car is your mom had? Is a
- 46:58Speaker 1: board escape or something like that? Something a little suv?
- 47:02Speaker 1: Does that what your mom has? Yeah? She has a
- 47:05Speaker 1: little red Stuv? Okay, all right. So the problem is
- 47:11Speaker 1: that that's the same car. That's the one we're talking about.
- 47:14Speaker 1: And it seems like, you know, your mother is is
- 47:18Speaker 1: flying down the street and she drops the kids off,
- 47:20Speaker 1: and when she leaves, she's flying back out of the
- 47:22Speaker 1: neighborhood and a couple of times some of the neighbors
- 47:25Speaker 1: have told her to slow down. And you know, I
- 47:28Speaker 1: don't know if she's flicked them off or set something
- 47:30Speaker 1: out the window, you know, but you know this is
- 47:33Speaker 1: stuff that we just cannot tolerate. Huh, well it really
- 47:39Speaker 1: doesn't sound like my mom. But you know, okay, you
- 47:42Speaker 1: know what, Natalie, what we're not gonna do is what
- 47:45Speaker 1: you're not gonna do is act like it's not your mamma.
- 47:47Speaker 1: It's your mother that's doing this. So what we need
- 47:49Speaker 1: you to do is tell your mama to slow out
- 47:52Speaker 1: down so we don't ask problem all right, because I
- 47:55Speaker 1: tried to be nice with you at first. But if
- 47:57Speaker 1: you're gonna be a denial figured it's not your mamma,
- 48:00Speaker 1: then we got is first of all, Darren from h
- 48:05Speaker 1: O A, I need you to watch your chauls and
- 48:07Speaker 1: who is you're talking to? All right? I need you
- 48:09Speaker 1: to climb that all the way down, all right? Have
- 48:12Speaker 1: you said that you need to slow your damn mama down.
- 48:16Speaker 1: That's what you need to do. Slow your mama. What
- 48:20Speaker 1: she can do is stand in the middle of the
- 48:22Speaker 1: street and she flying down and so hopefully she can
- 48:24Speaker 1: knock you out the way. Okay, don't talk to me
- 48:27Speaker 1: like that. You're being ruined disrespectful. I would ask her
- 48:30Speaker 1: if this her because I don't think it's hard. But
- 48:32Speaker 1: you're not gonna talk to me like that. Okay, So
- 48:35Speaker 1: your mama can just drive down the streets and after
- 48:37Speaker 1: damn what she want to do. My mama could do
- 48:40Speaker 1: whatever she want to do. She'll go on doing it.
- 48:43Speaker 1: She can't do it in the neighborhood that I'm a
- 48:45Speaker 1: member of the h o an. She can't do it there. Okay,
- 48:49Speaker 1: I don't mind whatever. Your mama arrested with your kids
- 48:52Speaker 1: in the car. If I got to, I wish you would.
- 48:55Speaker 1: I wish you would have my mama arrested with my
- 48:58Speaker 1: kids in the car. You're gonna have more file gonna
- 49:00Speaker 1: say you ever had. Okay, you bet night, have my
- 49:03Speaker 1: mama arrested. You're gonna get arrested and you're gonna be
- 49:07Speaker 1: sent to the hospital. How about that. Okay, let me
- 49:10Speaker 1: tell yourself, tell your mama, so slow down beneath streets.
- 49:14Speaker 1: This is the last one, and I'm giving y'all this
- 49:16Speaker 1: the last one. Well, you know what I'm saying. You
- 49:19Speaker 1: ain't got to get no one and say okay, we
- 49:21Speaker 1: can have a retal conversation about it. We can meet
- 49:24Speaker 1: and talk about it, because ain't gonna talk to me
- 49:26Speaker 1: like that, and you and I ain't telling my mama nothing.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I ain't telling out a small own thing nothing. What
- 49:31Speaker 1: you're gonna do? What's your mom do? There? Not? Fat
- 49:34Speaker 1: must meet about it. And I'm gonna bringing my husband too.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Says you got so much to say, you don't say that.
- 49:39Speaker 1: I don't want you to add keep that same energy.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Okay with my husband. I want you to talk to
- 49:44Speaker 1: him like you're talking to me. He let me tell
- 49:46Speaker 1: you something. I ain't worry about your husband and none
- 49:49Speaker 1: of that. All right, I'm gonna say I'm gonna say
- 49:51Speaker 1: this right here. I'm gonna say this right here. Tommy
- 49:54Speaker 1: is the one that told us that your mama was
- 49:56Speaker 1: speaking out of the street commedy one said it. Tommy
- 50:00Speaker 1: put it on every Timmy. Tommy said your mamma was
- 50:04Speaker 1: the one running up and down the street fast going
- 50:07Speaker 1: part to pick the milling out. Tommy the one said
- 50:09Speaker 1: that I know who Tommy, But Tommy can kiss my.
- 50:13Speaker 1: You can kiss my, and any other neighbors who got
- 50:16Speaker 1: something to say about my mama can kiss my. How
- 50:19Speaker 1: about that? Gonna shoot it, Let me and shoot it.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Do you know, nephew, Tommy come a Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Do you know who stops me? Why are you going

- 53:55Speaker 1: is the strong very letter subject. He's got two different
- 53:59Speaker 1: person ladies, Okay, two different personalities, Tommy. The letter says,
- 54:06Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm twenty eight years old and I
- 54:09Speaker 1: met a great man a year ago, and things progressed
- 54:13Speaker 1: quickly in our relationship, and it seemed like he was
- 54:16Speaker 1: the one. I waited until the third date to have
- 54:19Speaker 1: sex with him, and it was all that and more.
- 54:22Speaker 1: He's an amateur boxer, and I started going to see
- 54:25Speaker 1: him practice and I would join some of his workouts.
- 54:28Speaker 1: He was definitely an alpha male and I felt secure
- 54:31Speaker 1: in his arms. After six months of dating, he told
- 54:35Speaker 1: me that it was time for us to move in together.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I told him I needed to be sure he was
- 54:40Speaker 1: the one for me before I made that big step.
- 54:43Speaker 1: He took me ring shopping the next day and open
- 54:46Speaker 1: an account at the jewelry store. I was pretty sure then,
- 54:51Speaker 1: even though he didn't buy a ring. One month later,
- 54:55Speaker 1: I let him move into my apartment. A week after that,
- 54:58Speaker 1: I was sorry I ever met him. He is the
- 55:01Speaker 1: most metrosexual man I've ever met. He has at least
- 55:06Speaker 1: fifteen robes and six pajama sets with slippers to match. Silk. Oh, silk, Yeah,
- 55:13Speaker 1: he has fifteen robes and silk pajama sets and slippers
- 55:16Speaker 1: to match all of his lounge where Every evening he
- 55:20Speaker 1: makes me turn off the TV and listen to jazz
- 55:23Speaker 1: while he talks about his day. He uses a fake
- 55:26Speaker 1: British accent, and he carries himself like royalty when he's
- 55:30Speaker 1: in his fancy loungewere. Making love to him is different
- 55:34Speaker 1: now too. He likes back and neck massages. He likes
- 55:37Speaker 1: his back and neck massaged and lavender oil as four play,
- 55:41Speaker 1: and he likes his earlobes nibbled on. I don't get
- 55:45Speaker 1: any four play anymore. I have no idea who this
- 55:48Speaker 1: man is. Once he puts on his silk pajamas and
- 55:52Speaker 1: that jazz music. It's a drastic change from how he
- 55:57Speaker 1: is when he's boxing. I've asked him if he's got
- 56:00Speaker 1: multiple personalities, and he said he's a cultured brother, and
- 56:04Speaker 1: black women have a hard time embracing it. How do
- 56:08Speaker 1: I get this fake duke of Hastings out of my apartment?
- 56:13Speaker 1: A fake Duke of Hastings, a fake British accent. This
- 56:17Speaker 1: is way too much one thing about a king or
- 56:20Speaker 1: a duke or whatever. They should be treating you like
- 56:23Speaker 1: a queen or a duchess, right, and that's definitely not
- 56:26Speaker 1: happening here. You're being treated more like a peasant or
- 56:30Speaker 1: the help, it seems. And please don't let him know,
- 56:33Speaker 1: or let him know I should say that black women
- 56:36Speaker 1: do not have a problem or a hard time embracing
- 56:39Speaker 1: a cultured brother, as he calls it. You're just sick
- 56:42Speaker 1: of his arrogant, controlling ways. That's all. I hate to
- 56:45Speaker 1: say this, but it just needs to be said. I
- 56:48Speaker 1: think this is your fault. I mean, I think you
- 56:52Speaker 1: were moving too fast. This letter reeks of desperation on
- 56:56Speaker 1: your part. I mean, you hardly knew this man, and
- 56:59Speaker 1: after six or seven months. You allowed him to move
- 57:02Speaker 1: in with you at his request. You didn't even suggest it.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I just think it's too much, too soon. And this
- 57:08Speaker 1: is why all of this stuff is such a shock
- 57:10Speaker 1: to you, because you didn't even know him. You didn't
- 57:13Speaker 1: know who you were inviting in your home to live
- 57:15Speaker 1: with you. I mean the moment he took you, know,
- 57:19Speaker 1: he took you ring shopping, not ring buying, mind you,
- 57:21Speaker 1: but ring shopping. You just lost yourself and he probably
- 57:26Speaker 1: knew he had you right then, and he played you.
- 57:28Speaker 1: I mean, I say, packed all of his clothes and
- 57:31Speaker 1: change your locks. It is over with the Duke. Okay, Steve, Well,
- 57:39Speaker 1: there's not two different personality system. I'm just gonna put
- 57:43Speaker 1: you on game him. I've seen this before. First of all,

- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I know I'm fake, but why did you insult her?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: When you said that black women have a hard time
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: embracing a culture. You don't look at how you're treating me.

- 1:06:13Speaker 1: I'm taking all right. Coming up at forty six minutes
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: after d nice right after this you're listening to everybody
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: asked promise we got our special guests this morning. This
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: dude right here is now world famous. I don't know
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: what he was before the pandemic. He was a bad
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: boy there, but after the pandemic he turned it up
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: ten notches. Sometimes, man, you know, some great things come
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: out of adversity. He was one of them. He's the
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: world famous DJ, recently named Entertainer of the Year at
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the NAACP Image Awards. That was so weird. He single
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: handedly helped us all get through COVID nineteen pandemic when
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: he kicked off club quarantine last spring, and he had
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: all these virtual house parties, had millions of people at
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: their home jamming with him and Justice. Past Sunday night,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: he DJ for me the most Oh my lord him
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Mercy epic versus battle of all time. I don't know
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: how many numbers we got. I don't really give a damn,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: but the but the f pexicity of it all. You
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: like that? Yeah, City, that's the new words. Yeah's just
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: the Hasley Brothers versus ear Win the five. But today's
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: joining us talking about He got a new single called
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: No Plans for Love. Ladies and gentlemen, come on first
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: time on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Give it off
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: a family member. DJ D nice night. That that is
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: true had me smiling so hard. Man. I love to
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: be man brother. First of all, what you did last
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Sunday night, why from my for me and my damn
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: older brother. My brother is eleven years older than me. Yeah,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: he watched the whole damn thing, he said, boy boy,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: he said, no, it was too long for me first off.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: So when y'all went on break, I went to I
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: took a nap. But boy a man D nice. I
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: appreciate it. Man, you you laid it out at the
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: verses that that was so fun because I was. The
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: crazy part is the way I set up the set. Like,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: first of all, I went Swiss after me to like
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: curate this. I was like, wait, you want me to
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: pick the song? Like, like that's too much pressure. And
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: it wasn't until like sound check when I when after
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: sound check, I sat down and I was like, wait
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: a minute, let me let me figure out that order.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Because you know EARTHI when and fired the music to
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Enerview is different than the Issley. You know, most Vicely
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: songs are like that flow song and Earth when it
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: finally got a lot of folk songs. But when it
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: comes to that matchup, it was like, how are we
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: gonna pay the song? And I just did it based
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: on a feeling. But my favorite part of that entire
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: performance was when you sat back and you said, Hey,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: you know what, night, we're gonna do something different. We're
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: gonna go four songs, just play a mix the floor
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: for a slow song. He just let me go and
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: that right there. I think that was the difference in
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: any of the verses because we just went back to
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: back on them. Yea, And that was that was so
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: much fun. Bro, Man, hey, man, you were just the
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: ideal person forward. Man, hey, d Knice Hole right there,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: man Hole, holy right there. Everybody will be right back
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: with the world famous Entertainer of the Year D Nice

- 1:10:07Speaker 1: we're gonna say that Dad Gone d Knights because that
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: where everybody can say it. Yeah. But but hey, man,

- 1:14:02Speaker 1: But Neil did that it thirty minutes. Yeah, Neo, Neil's
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: no joke. Thirty minutes. Take me six months. That's a rapper. Yeah. Yeah. Still, hey,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: D Knights, hang on one more time for us, man,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: just sit tight one time for us. We'll be right

- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Immage Award winning entertainer of the Yell That Dog Gone
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: d nice. But hey, man, right now we're talking about
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: something else because look, man, this dude right here, DJ rapper,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: producer since the meat eighties. He started out in the
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: infamous rap group Booge Down Productions BDP. He's entertainer of
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: the Yale Boy. You gotta look at God, y'all hear me?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Man uplifted good spears doing the quarantine. So, first of all, man,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: just what inspired you to do the first virtual club quarantine?
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: A couple of things. Honestly, One I woke up and
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I heard I just I just heard, you know, God,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: like in my head, like just be still, like no lie.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I was sitting there. I was in tears really because
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: I knew what was going on. I knew the world
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: was changing. All of my gigs were being canceled, Essence, Festival, cancer, everything,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: everything that I was looked for. And I was a
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: little stressed out. And the only thing that I knew
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: that would make me happy was playing music. And I
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: went into my living room, opened up my laptop and
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I started playing music from my from my laptop into
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: the phone into the I g and it and it
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: just changed the world, man, you know like and it
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: really came from a place of just trying to feel
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: connected to people's still. Wow, man, we needed it too many.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: I mean every everybody, yes, everybody worldwide was on this thing.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: That was one was cold. Hey, D Knights, hang on

- 1:16:17Speaker 1: We're back with our new family members, one of the
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: greatest DJ's living, DJ d Knice. Hey man, all right,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: let's talk about this because you got a new single
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: coming out. Yes, it's called No Plans for Love is
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: with Neo and Kid Jones. Yes, how did this collaboration
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: come about? Man, talk to us? So Kid Jones um,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: he actually produced our co produced a song with them.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Kemp was he came up with this brilliant song, and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: La Reid, you know from Ellen Baby's face, reached out
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: to Neo. I didn't even know he reached out to Neo.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: He just reached out to Neo was like, Hey, I
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: think this would be a great record for you. But
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: the thing that La didn't know was Neo was the
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: only artist in all of the years that I've been
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: DJ and that when I asked if he would do
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: a song with me, he agreed. We just never made
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: the record. So I actually didn't hear Neo's vocals until
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: he actually cut them and then sent it back and
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: uh and when I heard it, I was like, Wow,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: this is all guy, because that was the one person
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: that I wanted to work with. So I'm excited about
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: New Plans for Love. It's been doing extremely well and
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: uh yes, and been an honor to work with Neo
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: and Ken y'all. So how does it feel for you? Man?
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: You know you you you finally work with Neo. Man,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: y'all y'all playing on something something else? Man, I know,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I know we got to single out, but any any
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: other future plans working in the studio. Yeah, well, we
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: actually got a remix to it already with Snoop on it,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: which I'm excited about. We're gonna release that next week.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: And uh, you know, we're just we're just talking about
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: future plans in terms of like when the world opens up,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: you know, Neo and are hitting the road together. Um,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: so I'm excited about that as well. We're looking at
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: you know, the top of twenty twenty two obviously, and
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: not gonna do much twenty twenty one, but that is
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: the goal is to um, for us to hit the
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: road and just create this amazing show where it's like
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: it's not like me opening for Neo, it's like we're
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: all a part of the same act. Yeah, and like
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: having that kind of energy, I mean, similar to what
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: we did on Versus, you know, like you know, in
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: the middle of the performances, all of a sudden, I

- 1:18:20Speaker 1: like you know, So it's that kind of vibe that

- 1:19:03Speaker 1: at the verses it was my first time meeting I mean, man,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: we just hit it off. Yeah, I mean was back there.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: See what people don't know about the verses, is they
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: not they didn't pick the music. You think you could
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: have picked the music, Doug oh oh absolutely. All right,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: coming up, it is our last break of the day.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: This has been an epic day, and we'll have some
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, guys, here we
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: are on this Friday, our last break of the day
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: and of the win. First of all, we want to
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: say thank you so much to Bishop TD Jakes and
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: of course to DJ D Nice for being our special
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: guest today. Um. Just great information from both of them.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Great energy. The people in the in the dining room
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: have no idea how much work is being done in
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: the kids. K. That's right, that's you know, man. He
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: says found the thing about it. Man, he phrased the
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: stuff in a way where you can get it right.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: His messages ain't above your head. You ain't got to
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: look up nothing. Man. I've had some speakers, man, I
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: just had I had to stop. You're making my head hurts. Yeah, yes, yeah, yeah.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: And Steve before we get to your closing, um, and
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: tell me something good news. Um. We watched the trial
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: yesterday of a police officer, Derek Chauvin Um as doctor
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Martin Yeah, ex police officer. I should say, you're right, Carla.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: We watched it as a doctor Martin Tobin, who works
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: as a doctor and pulmonary and critical care doctor. Tobin
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: testified that George Floyd's pre existing conditions did not kill him,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: as the defense is trying to say. According to the
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: Black Information Network, doctor Tobin testified that he feels the
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: position of George Floyd's handcuffs and Chauvin's knee caused a
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: low level of oxygen, and he explained the low level
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: of oxygen caused brain damage and caused his heart to stop.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: In other words, George Floyd's body pressed against the street
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: by Chauvin's knees as his hands were handcuffed behind his
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: back killed him. A right, yes, r it's no way.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: But that's the thing I don't like. That's the thing
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I don't like. You know, I got the saying he
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: is a man is innocent and to proven guilty, right right, Well,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: we saw the tape. It was him. The whole thing
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: is on tape. We didn't catch it at the last minute.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: We saw him before they put the cuffs on him
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: from the store, when he was down and cuffed with
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: six police officers around him. That's enough bodies and enough
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: men that man can cuff. Ain't stronger than six dudes, man,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But he wasn't resistant. Brother, Why are you holding him
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: down this way with your hand in your pocket, with
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the full weight of your knee on this man's neck
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: you know why, because you're hateful. Yes, because you are
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: hateful because you don't have a heart. You heard that
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: man say I can't breathe. You heard that man call
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: for his mother. His mother is gone. He didn't see
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: him as humans, he just did. No, he don't. And
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: that's the problem. But everybody else knew it was wrong. Yeah,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: so these GE's jewelers can't come with any other verdict.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all, listen to me. Now, it only takes
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: one to get a home jury. It just takes one.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Then we gotta do it through the retrial again and
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: do it again. But I don't see how. But if
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you do that, I am telling y'all, and listen to me,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: it's gonna be some problems because you can't keep taking
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: you can't keep kicking oppressed people. You can't keep doing it,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you know, and and and it's it's it's it's gonna
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: be a bad situation because now you're gonna have to
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: quell the anger of blacks, brown's whites, y'all will and red.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: You're gonna have to quell the anger of people overseas.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: They were marching in Germany for George Floyd. This is worldwide,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: and this ends today the second week of the trial.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: I don't see what we talking about. Yeah, it's supposed
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: to be closed. It's going back in his room and
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: come on back at the prosecution, keep bringing the witnesses
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: if they don't need to rest until they have all
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: the witnesses to prove their I ain't mad at the
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: prosecution from what I'm understanding, because I haven't really watched
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: it closely. I just see a little bit and then
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: I turn it because it turns my stomach. It turns
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: my stomach. I'm tired of watching this tape, man, and
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I get angry when I watch it. I'm just being honest.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: I get angry because I'm sixty four years old. He
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: didn't have to die. I've been seeing this my entire life.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: I am tired of this country expecting black people to
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: be patient. We're working on it, you're working on what
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: I was watching. I think Monica sent me something from
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Mark Luther King. I don't know who it was. Somebody
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: sent me something from marl Luther King. Mar Luther King
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: said in the speech one Time. All we want is
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: America to be what it say it is on paper.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: That's all we want just be what you say you
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: is on paper, right Land of the Free, that everybody
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: has inaliable right to the pursuit of happiness, that we
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: are all equal. Why that sat? Yeah? Where is that at?
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: And I'm telling you something, man, this voting law that
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: they passed in Georgia. Yes, that the Republicans all over
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: this state are jumping on board with this blatant act
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: or voter suppression against people of color. And look, man,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: we're tired of this. But like I said before, the
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: part y'all messed up. Is you let us see that
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: I vote changes things. And once you awaken the sleeping
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: giant man, sleeping giants, Derek Heavic, We're not going to
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: sleep no more. We're voting forever. Kemp's days is number,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: and Kemp is the governor of Georgia. You run again, Homie,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: You're gonna be out. I give you my word on this.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: You're gonna be out when you forgot greg No, hey man,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: y'all have a great weekend. Okay, Hey, remember y'all talk
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: to God. He love to hear from you. We'll see
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: y'all under day. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase necessary,
