Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Kamala's Speech: Vapid, Radical, Disconnected from Reality & Dangerous as Hell
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is verdict with Center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:04Speaker 2: you and Senator we finally saw what the agenda of
- 0:07Speaker 2: Kamala Harris is, or maybe we didn't get to see
- 0:11Speaker 2: any agenda at all from her in her big speech
- 0:15Speaker 2: closing out the coronation of Kamala Harris.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Well, last night the DNC Convention ended. I guess we
- 0:23Speaker 3: can say our long national nightmare is over. We saw
- 0:27Speaker 3: Kamala Harris's acceptance speech, and I would say the speech
- 0:31Speaker 3: was simultaneously vapid, radical, disconnected from reality and dangerous as hell.
- 0:39Speaker 3: We're going to break it down. We're going to break
- 0:41Speaker 3: down what her strategy was, We're gonna break down what
- 0:44Speaker 3: she said, and we're going to break down what the
- 0:46Speaker 3: consequences are likely to be from the speech last night.
- 0:50Speaker 3: You're not gonna what want to miss this?
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it was truly an incredible speech, and I don't
- 0:54Speaker 2: say that as a compliment. What was in it We're
- 0:57Speaker 2: gonna talk about that. And before we get to that,
- 0:59Speaker 2: you saw the protesters that were outside of the convention,
- 1:03Speaker 2: and they were there advocating for the terrorists that attacked Israel.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It is shocking to see just how many of them
- 1:10Speaker 2: were demanding that we cut ties with Israel. And now
- 1:14Speaker 2: we are quickly approaching the one year anniversary of the
- 1:17Speaker 2: horrific Hamas attacks on Israel, and still the Holy Land
- 1:21Speaker 2: continues to be attacked on multiple fronts. Deadly threats are
- 1:25Speaker 2: increasing in northern Israel. There were constant rocket attacks from
- 1:29Speaker 2: Hesbla that have been fired Israel, causing widespread damage, including
- 1:34Speaker 2: this summer raging wildfires destroying precious farmland. Since the war started,
- 1:40Speaker 2: our good friends at the International Fellowship of Christians and
- 1:43Speaker 2: Jews has been on the forefront in Israel addressing the
- 1:46Speaker 2: most important needs of the most vulnerable. That's why I'm
- 1:50Speaker 2: partnering with IFCJ today and your life saving donation will
- 1:54Speaker 2: help provide emergency food as well as critical security needs
- 1:58Speaker 2: such as flak jackets, firefighting equipment, armored vehicles including armored ambulances,
- 2:05Speaker 2: bomb shelters, and so much more. We're looking for five
- 2:09Speaker 2: hundred listeners to join the Fellowship and me by donating
- 2:13Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty dollars to meet these urgent security
- 2:17Speaker 2: needs of the people being attacked in Israel. And thanks
- 2:20Speaker 2: to a generous IFCJS supporter, your gift will be matched,
- 2:25Speaker 2: doubling your impact in the Holy Land. To make a gift,
- 2:29Speaker 2: you can call right now eight at eight four eight
- 2:32Speaker 2: eight IFCJ. That's eight at eight four eight eight IFCJ

- 2:41Speaker 2: to support IFCJ dot org to give that's one word,
- 2:46Speaker 2: support IFCJ dot org.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Israel needs our support now more than ever.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Stand with them today, support IFCJ dot org centater. This
- 2:57Speaker 2: speech was obviously a important import moment for her campaign.
- 3:03Speaker 2: It was an important week to really launch her as Hey,
- 3:07Speaker 2: I am officially the candidate.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I've got the nomination. It is me.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Joe Biden. They got rid of him after midnight on
- 3:14Speaker 2: Monday night on a scout of one to ten. What
- 3:17Speaker 2: would you give her? What grade if you want to
- 3:19Speaker 2: use that ranking system would you give her for this speech?
- 3:23Speaker 4: Oh?
- 3:23Speaker 3: Look, I think this speech was effective. You and I
- 3:28Speaker 3: predicted early on that she would have good speech writers.
- 3:31Speaker 3: They'd write a speech and she would read it from
- 3:34Speaker 3: the teleprompter.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Just fine.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Look, it's been a month since she's been the presumptive nominee.
- 3:38Speaker 3: In that entire time, she's done no media interviews. She
- 3:41Speaker 3: hasn't taken questions but she has read from the teleprompter,
- 3:44Speaker 3: and tonight she read from the teleprompter as well. She
- 3:47Speaker 3: read effectively. But I want to break down the different
- 3:50Speaker 3: elements of the speech because I think each of the
- 3:55Speaker 3: different elements I described is significant. The first one I
- 3:58Speaker 3: said is vapid. It really was striking how little policy
- 4:03Speaker 3: was in this speech. The first half of the speech
- 4:07Speaker 3: could have been given by a Democrat or a Republican.
- 4:10Speaker 3: It was utterly disconnected to any policy proposal whatsoever, to
- 4:14Speaker 3: anything that she would do as president. So the first
- 4:17Speaker 3: half was biographical. She talked about some shocking positions, like
- 4:21Speaker 3: she loved her mom, and she loves her sister, and
- 4:25Speaker 3: she likes kids, and and she talked about that that
- 4:29Speaker 3: that that that we need to be aspirational and we
- 4:31Speaker 3: need to be able to do more, and we need
- 4:33Speaker 3: to have opportunity. And it was a lot of pretty
- 4:36Speaker 3: words that speech writers write that actually said next to nothing.
- 4:42Speaker 3: That they did not say anything about what people's lives
- 4:47Speaker 3: would be like if she's president. But uh, you know,
- 4:52Speaker 3: they sounded nice to someone who is generally listening, not
- 4:59Speaker 3: not paying that close of attention. They were nice speech
- 5:04Speaker 3: writer lines. Although it's striking as I said, just how
- 5:07Speaker 3: many of them could have been delivered by a nominee
- 5:10Speaker 3: at a Republican convention. It reminded me of The Simpsons
- 5:15Speaker 3: when when Kang and Codos are both both running for
- 5:18Speaker 3: president and and and and they pledged to go yeah forwards,
- 5:22Speaker 3: not backwards, upwards, not downwards, and twirling twirling into the future.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I halfway expected her to start twirling, uh, because because
- 5:30Speaker 3: those were the sort of sort of lines that were there.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Vapid was there, but it was also at the same
- 5:36Speaker 3: time radical. Now how can that be because when she
- 5:39Speaker 3: got in to policy, the policy that she laid out,
- 5:43Speaker 3: every bit of it was hard left that there. There
- 5:47Speaker 3: was virtually zero policy in that speech designed to appeal
- 5:52Speaker 3: to the middle. So, first of all, her first major
- 5:55Speaker 3: policy initiative was abortion. And if anyone has missed, uh
- 5:59Speaker 3: missed the narrative, she's for it. She's for it in
- 6:01Speaker 3: all circumstances, no matter what. There are no limitations she
- 6:05Speaker 3: has ever suggested she would countenance, and she pledged as
- 6:09Speaker 3: her first major reason to vote for that she would
- 6:11Speaker 3: gladly sign legislation striking down every restriction all across the country. Now,
- 6:17Speaker 3: mind you, that is a position striking down legalizing abortion
- 6:23Speaker 3: up until the including the ninth month of pregnancy, with
- 6:27Speaker 3: no limits whatsoever. That's a position nine percent of Americans
- 6:31Speaker 3: agree with. Ninety one percent of Americans do not want
- 6:34Speaker 3: to see late term abortions. And that was where she started.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Then from there she went to amnesty for illegal aliens,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and she wanted a path to citizenship for every illegal
- 6:48Speaker 3: alien in America. She had a rhetorical nod declaiming she
- 6:52Speaker 3: would secure the border, but she very quickly got to
- 6:55Speaker 3: where she's interested in, which is taking every one of
- 6:58Speaker 3: the eleven and a half million illegal aliens that that
- 7:02Speaker 3: she has allowed in as borders are and making them
- 7:06Speaker 3: Democrat voters. And so that was a critical part of
- 7:11Speaker 3: her proposal. And then the other major policy element she
- 7:16Speaker 3: had there was when she got to the Middle East.
- 7:19Speaker 3: When she got to the Middle East, she did have
- 7:22Speaker 3: a sentence or two about standing with Israel, which which
- 7:26Speaker 3: got some polite applause in the room, and then she said,
- 7:31Speaker 3: we will fight for the self determination of the Palestinian people,
- 7:35Speaker 3: and the place erupted. It was her single biggest applause
- 7:41Speaker 3: line of the night, which gives you a sense of
- 7:43Speaker 3: the priorities of the radicals there that that nothing mattered
- 7:49Speaker 3: more to them.
- 7:49Speaker 1: She did.
- 7:51Speaker 3: She did have a sentence condemning Hamas for the murder
- 7:55Speaker 3: of twelve hundred civilians, although she didn't say they murdered
- 7:57Speaker 3: twelve hundred civilians. But she did have a sentence condemning Hamas,
- 8:01Speaker 3: which I guess in the Democrat party counts for some
- 8:03Speaker 3: monica of bravery. But and that, as I said, got
- 8:08Speaker 3: polite applause. But where the stadium erupted was when she
- 8:13Speaker 3: said she stood with the Palestinian people. That again, is
- 8:18Speaker 3: is the radical nature of today's Democrat Party.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You know.
- 8:22Speaker 2: One of the I think most disgusting moments of the
- 8:25Speaker 2: night was when Kamala Harris went to grandstand on how
- 8:29Speaker 2: she protects because she's an attorney, and she says her
- 8:33Speaker 2: only client is the American people. She went on a
- 8:35Speaker 2: nice rant about that and how she's never had any
- 8:39Speaker 2: private client, it's just the American people. And she basically said,
- 8:43Speaker 2: vote for me because I'm the protector in chief. I'm
- 8:46Speaker 2: gonna be America's lawyer.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Gonna defend you from chaos that happens, and you trust
- 8:54Speaker 2: me as your lawyer.
- 8:56Speaker 1: And she described it this way.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Because I believe everyone has a right to safety, to dignity,
- 9:05Speaker 5: and to justice.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Senator I heard that, and she got a big applause
- 9:11Speaker 2: from that line.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And I look at reality.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Look at the children that are in sex slavery right now.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Look at the children that are in that have been
- 9:22Speaker 2: trafficked and are being abused as they are working for
- 9:25Speaker 2: nothing like we see in countries like China with slave
- 9:30Speaker 2: labor with among children. Look at the people that have
- 9:33Speaker 2: been terrorized by illegal immigrants that have come across the border.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Jobs have been taken away, communities that are being attacked,
- 9:39Speaker 2: the fetanyol that's coming across the southern border.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Take your pick on those.
- 9:43Speaker 2: But when she says that everyone has this right to X,
- 9:46Speaker 2: Y and z, she's the one that's that has actually
- 9:49Speaker 2: done the opposite of that. She's been a lawyer for anybody.
- 9:52Speaker 2: It's been for the cartels and the illegal immigrants.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Well, and that's the embodiment of the third characteristic of
- 9:58Speaker 3: the speech that I mentioned, disconnected from reality. In this speech,
- 10:04Speaker 3: she leaned in heavily to being a prosecutor, and suddenly
- 10:07Speaker 3: being a prosecutor is a good thing again. For a
- 10:09Speaker 3: long time among Democrats, it was not, But tonight she
- 10:14Speaker 3: was playing the part of prosecutor and tough guy, and
- 10:18Speaker 3: you know what was really there were a lot of
- 10:19Speaker 3: things that were bizarre about the speech, but one of
- 10:21Speaker 3: the most bizarre things at no point in the speech
- 10:26Speaker 3: did she acknowledge that she is the sitting vice president
- 10:29Speaker 3: of the United States, that she is part of the
- 10:33Speaker 3: current administration, that she goes to work in the White
- 10:35Speaker 3: House every day, that Joe Biden right now, this instant
- 10:40Speaker 3: is the president of the United States, and this whole speech,
- 10:43Speaker 3: it was written as if she were the challenger, as
- 10:47Speaker 3: if Donald Trump was the president, and she has no
- 10:50Speaker 3: responsibility for any policies whatsoever. You know, you think about it. Historically,
- 10:55Speaker 3: a vice president running to succeed an incumbent president runs
- 11:00Speaker 3: on here's our record, here's what we accomplished. Go back
- 11:05Speaker 3: and listen to the speech again. There's virtually nothing in
- 11:08Speaker 3: the speech that says, here's what we accomplished. There's not
- 11:11Speaker 3: a word about what we accomplished on the economy. She
- 11:14Speaker 3: didn't say anything about that. There's certainly not a word
- 11:18Speaker 3: about what she and Joe Biden accomplished on inflation, because
- 11:21Speaker 3: it's been an absolute train wreck. There's not a word
- 11:23Speaker 3: about what they accomplished on the debt, because the debt
- 11:26Speaker 3: has skyrocketed. There's certainly not a word on what they
- 11:29Speaker 3: accomplished on the border, because the border has been the
- 11:32Speaker 3: worst illegal immigration in our nation's history. There's not a
- 11:35Speaker 3: word about what they accomplished on crime. Even when she's
- 11:38Speaker 3: beating her chest and saying she's a prosecutor, there's not
- 11:41Speaker 3: a word about this. It is all entirely disconnected from
- 11:46Speaker 3: the last four years. And when she says that everyone
- 11:51Speaker 3: has a right to safety, I don't think there was
- 11:54Speaker 3: a line in the speech that made me more angry.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Because her entire political career, all of it, has been
- 12:02Speaker 3: devoted to undermining the safety of the vulnerable. Kamala Harris
- 12:07Speaker 3: has been the borders are for the last four years.
- 12:11Speaker 3: She is responsible for every damn murderer she and Joe
- 12:15Speaker 3: Biden release. She is responsible for every rapist, every child molester,
- 12:20Speaker 3: every drunk driver.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Look.
- 12:22Speaker 3: The same day she was giving this speech, Donald Trump
- 12:27Speaker 3: was at the border, and he was there with the
- 12:30Speaker 3: parents of Rachel Marin, the beautiful mother of five who
- 12:33Speaker 3: was raped and murdered in suburban Maryland. She was also
- 12:36Speaker 3: there with Alexis Nungary, the mom of Joscelyn Hungary, the
- 12:41Speaker 3: beautiful twelve year old girl raped and murdered in Houston,
- 12:46Speaker 3: and they shared the agony. As you know, I've gotten
- 12:50Speaker 3: to know Joscelyn's mom, I've gotten to know Joscelyn's grandfather,
- 12:54Speaker 3: the pain, the agony I have sat in their living room. Look,
- 13:00Speaker 3: the worst pain anyone could endure is a parent losing
- 13:05Speaker 3: a child, and even worse than that is to lose
- 13:09Speaker 3: a child in an instance where you know the utter
- 13:13Speaker 3: hell that your child endured in her last hours on earth.
- 13:19Speaker 3: What happened to Joscelyn was sick and twisted, and Kamala
- 13:23Speaker 3: Harris took zero responsibility for the fact that it is
- 13:27Speaker 3: her policies. The Biden Harris administration had those murderers in
- 13:33Speaker 3: custody when they came from Venezuela. There were three thousand
- 13:37Speaker 3: open beds. They could have held them in attention, they
- 13:41Speaker 3: could have deplored them and Joscelyn would still be alive.
- 13:44Speaker 3: But instead, because Kamala Harris wanted political power, she let
- 13:50Speaker 3: them go. Those murderers came to Houston and they raped
- 13:53Speaker 3: and murdered that precious angel. That is happening day after
- 13:57Speaker 3: day after day. And by the way, Kamala's record goes
- 14:00Speaker 3: back for years on this. It's not just open borders,
- 14:03Speaker 3: which she has always supported, but it is also crime.
- 14:07Speaker 3: She has consistently stood with violent criminals in Minneapolis when
- 14:14Speaker 3: Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters were burning Minneapolis.
- 14:17Speaker 1: What did she do.
- 14:18Speaker 3: She didn't stand for the safety of the citizens of Minneapolis.
- 14:21Speaker 3: She didn't stand and defend the police whose cars were
- 14:25Speaker 3: being firebombed. She didn't stand and defend the shopkeepers who
- 14:28Speaker 3: were being looted.
- 14:29Speaker 1: No, what did she do.
- 14:31Speaker 3: She raised money to bail out of jail the violent criminals.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Over and over and over again. When Kamala has faced
- 14:38Speaker 3: a choice, do you stand with the American people, do
- 14:42Speaker 3: you stand with the victims of crime, or do you
- 14:44Speaker 3: stand with the criminals. Consistently and without fail she has
- 14:49Speaker 3: stood with the criminals. That's her record as vice president,
- 14:53Speaker 3: that was her record as a United States Senator. And
- 14:56Speaker 3: as I said, this speech was utterly disconnec from reality.
- 15:01Speaker 3: It is as if she's running as a challenger and
- 15:05Speaker 3: she is treating Trump as the sitting president of the
- 15:08Speaker 3: United States.
- 15:09Speaker 2: She also presented what I would refer to as the
- 15:12Speaker 2: Deal with the Devil. She said, and I want to
- 15:15Speaker 2: play this because I think it's important for people to
- 15:17Speaker 2: understand just the amount of lies in this speech. When
- 15:21Speaker 2: it came to the border, she said, I know the
- 15:23Speaker 2: importance of safety and security at the border. And there
- 15:25Speaker 2: was one little line in there, and I'm sure Center
- 15:28Speaker 2: you heard it because you were watching this live and
- 15:30Speaker 2: I was as well. Where she said, and I'm quoting
- 15:33Speaker 2: it because I wanted to stand out to everybody when
- 15:35Speaker 2: we play it. She said, we can create an earned
- 15:38Speaker 2: pathway to citizenship and secure our border.
- 15:41Speaker 1: There it is, let.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Me give amnesty to twenty million or however many have
- 15:46Speaker 2: gotten into this country, and then I'll give you security.
- 15:50Speaker 2: It was only one line to explain her intent. Here's
- 15:55Speaker 2: a bunch of other words she used around it.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Listen and let me be there, and let me be clear.
- 16:02Speaker 5: After decades in law enforcement, I know the importance of
- 16:07Speaker 5: safety and security, especially at our border. Last year, Joe
- 16:13Speaker 5: and I brought together Democrats and conservative Republicans to write
- 16:18Speaker 5: the strongest border bill in decades. The Border Patrol endorsed it.
- 16:23Speaker 5: But Donald Trump believes a border deal would hurt his campaign,
- 16:29Speaker 5: so he ordered his allies in.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Congress to kill the deal.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Well, I refuse to play politics with our security, and
- 16:40Speaker 5: here is my pledge to you as president.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I will bring back.
- 16:46Speaker 5: The bipartisan border security bill that he killed, and I
- 16:49Speaker 5: will sign it into law.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I know, I know we can live.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Up to our proud heritage as a nation of immigrants
- 17:02Speaker 5: and reform our broken immigration system. We can create an
- 17:10Speaker 5: earned pathway to citizenship and secure our border.
- 17:16Speaker 2: First thing, let's just clear up, because he were in
- 17:19Speaker 2: the Senate when this whole quote toughest bill ever bipartisan
- 17:24Speaker 2: was happening. She didn't tell you the whole truth on that,
- 17:28Speaker 2: did She.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Almost every word of what she said there was deliberately false.
- 17:35Speaker 3: So Number one, this so called border deal was written
- 17:39Speaker 3: by Chuck Schumer, and it was designed to put in
- 17:43Speaker 3: the law Joe Biden's open border policies to continue this
- 17:47Speaker 3: invasion at the border in perpetuity. This bill is a disaster.
- 17:52Speaker 3: It codified, it wrote into law catch and release. That's
- 17:55Speaker 3: the policy that caused this crisis that came from Joe
- 17:57Speaker 3: Biden to Kamala Harris. It wrote into law that illegal
- 18:01Speaker 3: immigrants when they came here would automatically be given work
- 18:04Speaker 3: authorization and allowed to work, which continues the magnet drawing
- 18:07Speaker 3: people here illegally. It wrote into law that many illegal
- 18:11Speaker 3: aliens would be given taxpayer funded attorneys. It wrote into
- 18:15Speaker 3: law that billions of dollars would be sent to sanctuary
- 18:18Speaker 3: cities and to the NGOs that are helping the drug
- 18:22Speaker 3: traffickers and the human traffickers bring illegal aliens into this country.
- 18:27Speaker 3: And it normalized five thousand illegal immigrants a day. That's
- 18:31Speaker 3: one point eight million illegal immigrants a year, every year, forever,
- 18:37Speaker 3: into perpetuity. The lead Democrat negotiator on this was Chris Murphy,
- 18:42Speaker 3: one of the most partisan left wing Democrats in the
- 18:45Speaker 3: entire Senate.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Chris Murphy.
- 18:47Speaker 3: When the bill was introduced, he very candidly and openly said,
- 18:51Speaker 3: this bill does not close the border. So when she
- 18:55Speaker 3: says I'm going to sign this bill and secure the border,
- 18:58Speaker 3: she is lying. She knows it doesn't secure the border.
- 19:02Speaker 3: She doesn't want it to secure the border. She wants
- 19:05Speaker 3: millions of illegal aliens to keep coming in year after
- 19:08Speaker 3: year after year. And her line that the reason it
- 19:13Speaker 3: failed was because Trump politically wanted it to fail, that
- 19:16Speaker 3: is utterly false. So Schumer and the Democrats kept the
- 19:19Speaker 3: details of this bill a secret right until the very
- 19:22Speaker 3: end when they release the bill. It collapsed within twenty
- 19:25Speaker 3: four hours once people read the text. Because the bill
- 19:27Speaker 3: was a joke. It was a disaster. It would have
- 19:30Speaker 3: made the problem worse. She knows that, but she's playing
- 19:36Speaker 3: political games, and I'll tell you the press is going
- 19:39Speaker 3: to go along with her and repeat that lie over
- 19:42Speaker 3: and over and over again.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I want to tell you about our friends at Bond Arms.
- 19:47Speaker 2: If you know me, you know I'm a Stanta advocate
- 19:50Speaker 2: for a god given Secondmendment rights. Without carrying a firearm
- 19:53Speaker 2: and having to use that firearm to protect myself in
- 19:57Speaker 2: a shooting, I wouldn't be here right now. Shooting is
- 20:01Speaker 2: one of my favorite pastimes. I even own a gun
- 20:03Speaker 2: range in a gun store to help other people be
- 20:05Speaker 2: able to protect and defend themselves and their family. Well,
- 20:08Speaker 2: I also want to talk about how tough our forty
- 20:11Speaker 2: fifth president is. Anyone who can bounce back from the
- 20:14Speaker 2: personal attack as Trump has and the attempted assassination immediately
- 20:19Speaker 2: go back to work for the American people is a
- 20:22Speaker 2: powerful and resilient leader.

- 21:34Speaker 2: let me ask you another question about her speech, and
- 21:39Speaker 2: that is, let's take a step back from from what
- 21:42Speaker 2: she had to say on the on the immigration issue
- 21:45Speaker 2: and those lies. But she had also she said you
- 21:49Speaker 2: can trust me on foreign policy, and you can trust
- 21:53Speaker 2: me on the economy. It's like she's never been elected,
- 21:57Speaker 2: that she's somehow implying that she's not really in power,
- 22:01Speaker 2: that she's asking for a job when she's already the
- 22:03Speaker 2: vice president of the United States of America. I mean,
- 22:06Speaker 2: I posted a couple things about this on Socialist and
- 22:09Speaker 2: number one, there's nothing quote joyful that was a theme
- 22:12Speaker 2: of the convention about paying twenty two percent more for
- 22:14Speaker 2: groceries since Kamala took office. But that's the reality. And
- 22:21Speaker 2: she says day one she's gonna do all of these things.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Day one for Kamala Harris was January the twentieth of
- 22:28Speaker 2: twenty twenty one. She created this mess, and she's acting
- 22:32Speaker 2: like she wasn't even a part of it.
- 22:34Speaker 3: Well, and interestingly enough, when you say that she says
- 22:37Speaker 3: she's going to do all of these things, she actually
- 22:40Speaker 3: had no policy that she laid out in any of this.
- 22:45Speaker 3: So when she's talking about inflation, she says, I'm going
- 22:49Speaker 3: to lower prices, but she doesn't talk about her ridiculous
- 22:52Speaker 3: policy proposals in the last couple of weeks or her
- 22:55Speaker 3: government price controls that are going to set the prices
- 22:58Speaker 3: of brocl in the grocery store. She didn't mention that
- 23:01Speaker 3: at all. She didn't talk about her proposal to give
- 23:04Speaker 3: away twenty five thousand dollars to anyone who wants to
- 23:06Speaker 3: buy a house, which is a proposal that would only
- 23:10Speaker 3: drive up the cost of houses by I don't know,
- 23:12Speaker 3: twenty five thousand dollars, and drive up a debt and
- 23:16Speaker 3: drive up inflation. She didn't talk about any of the policy proposals.
- 23:19Speaker 3: She just said, I'm going to lower the prices of everything.
- 23:23Speaker 3: She also, by the way, did not talk about all
- 23:27Speaker 3: of the policies that she and Biden have put in
- 23:29Speaker 3: place attacking oil and gas production in the United States,
- 23:33Speaker 3: which is a huge driver number one of inflation in
- 23:36Speaker 3: the price of gasoline. They caused this because they wanted it,
- 23:39Speaker 3: but number two, it's a huge driver in every other
- 23:42Speaker 3: form of inflation. She didn't mention any of that as well.
- 23:44Speaker 3: She just said, I'm going to lower your prices while
- 23:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna pull out my magic wand I'm going to
- 23:49Speaker 3: wave it in the air.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Now.
- 23:51Speaker 3: On foreign policy, she said she would stand up to
- 23:55Speaker 3: her enemy. She did lean in hard on Ukraine, which
- 23:58Speaker 3: that's become a ver choose signal for Democrats now. She
- 24:02Speaker 3: didn't acknowledge that her administration's waiving the sanctions on Nordstream
- 24:07Speaker 3: too and giving a multi billion dollar gift to Putin
- 24:10Speaker 3: is what enabled and caused the war in Ukraine. She
- 24:13Speaker 3: didn't acknowledge that at all. She did say she'd stand
- 24:16Speaker 3: up to Iran without acknowledging that she and Joe Biden
- 24:20Speaker 3: have given the Iyatola Kameinee over one hundred billion dollars
- 24:25Speaker 3: that they continue today while she's giving this speech, her
- 24:30Speaker 3: administration is still not enforcing oil sanctions against Iran the
- 24:35Speaker 3: money they are making. Iran is selling two million barrels
- 24:38Speaker 3: a day of oil. When she came into office, Iran
- 24:41Speaker 3: was selling three hundred thousand barrels a day in oil.
- 24:43Speaker 3: That delta between three hundred thousand a day and two
- 24:46Speaker 3: million a day has been over eighty billion dollars, and
- 24:50Speaker 3: they're still allowing Iran to do it. Iran is funding Hamas,
- 24:54Speaker 3: is funding Hesbela. Ninety percent of Hamas's budget comes from Iran.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Ninety percent of Hesbela's budget comes from Moran. And she
- 25:02Speaker 3: didn't acknowledge any of that. She just said, I'm going
- 25:07Speaker 3: to magically lower prices. And as I said, the disconnected
- 25:10Speaker 3: from reality part is, well, wait, you're in office now.
- 25:14Speaker 3: If there's some magic ability to lower prices, why aren't
- 25:18Speaker 3: you using it today? And of course there isn't. And
- 25:22Speaker 3: even more so, it is her policies that have caused
- 25:25Speaker 3: this inflation, which she never took ownership of. Look when
- 25:29Speaker 3: I mentioned this speech was radical, I want you to
- 25:32Speaker 3: listen to what Chris Cuomo said last night on News Nation.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Give a listen.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Yes, Kamala Harris talked about immigration but excusing the situation
- 25:42Speaker 4: of the status quo as being a function of one
- 25:44Speaker 4: bill not getting allowed to.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Pass by Trump.
- 25:47Speaker 4: It's not going to be satisfying, not to independent voters,
- 25:50Speaker 4: not for people who study.
- 25:51Speaker 2: The issue, not to independent voters. And that's the big question.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Did she move the needle in this speech within pennant voters.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I don't think she did, Senator, I really don't.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Well, look, I hope you're right, but but the fourth
- 26:06Speaker 3: characteristic I said was was dangerous as hell. Uh And
- 26:11Speaker 3: and and and that worries me. I I think she
- 26:15Speaker 3: read the speech just fine. I think it was well
- 26:17Speaker 3: written by a cadre of Democrats speechwriters, and and and listen.
- 26:23Speaker 3: She also blasted Trump. She blasted Trump with a whole
- 26:26Speaker 3: series of lies. One of the things the Democrats have
- 26:29Speaker 3: done relentlessly is going after Project twenty twenty five, which
- 26:33Speaker 3: was written by the Heritage Foundation. And Trump has rightly
- 26:36Speaker 3: said he hasn't read what they've written, and he doesn't
- 26:39Speaker 3: know what it is, and it's not what he's campaigning on,
- 26:41Speaker 3: which is of course right. And by the way, in
- 26:43Speaker 3: every campaign, they're all sorts of different think tanks on
- 26:46Speaker 3: the left and right that write what they want their
- 26:49Speaker 3: candidate to do, and and their left wing think tanks,
- 26:52Speaker 3: right wing think tanks. That doesn't mean it's what the
- 26:53Speaker 3: candidate's gonna do. But but but she deliberately went after
- 26:58Speaker 3: and tarred Trumps, as have the other speakers at the convention,
- 27:01Speaker 3: and has had the Democrats for a long time with
- 27:05Speaker 3: what she described as a really radical agenda that has
- 27:10Speaker 3: the potential to be dangerous. And I'm going to predict. Look,
- 27:13Speaker 3: I think she will get a slight, a modest bump
- 27:18Speaker 3: out of this. I actually think most of the bump
- 27:20Speaker 3: you get out of a convention she's already gotten because
- 27:24Speaker 3: we've had effectively a month long convention for a month,
- 27:27Speaker 3: the media has been relentlessly doing a coronation of Kamala Harris,
- 27:31Speaker 3: not just a coronation, a canonization. They've been turning her
- 27:35Speaker 3: into a saint. And I think this speech, although there
- 27:39Speaker 3: was a lot of substance missing, although there were radical
- 27:42Speaker 3: things slipped into it, and although it was, as I said,
- 27:45Speaker 3: utterly disconnected from reality, if you didn't pay that close
- 27:50Speaker 3: of attention, it sounded nice. It sounded aspirational. She smiled
- 27:56Speaker 3: a lot. She didn't say anything that if you're just
- 27:59Speaker 3: listening to that sentence, that sounded on its face crazy.
- 28:03Speaker 3: And my prediction is next week will be the highest
- 28:08Speaker 3: numbers Kamala Harris has this entire election. I think it
- 28:10Speaker 3: will be next week. I think she's on a sugar high,
- 28:13Speaker 3: and I think we will start to see her numbers
- 28:15Speaker 3: go down after next week. But I think next week
- 28:18Speaker 3: will be the high point. And in my view, the
- 28:22Speaker 3: key to this election, what the Trump campaign needs to
- 28:25Speaker 3: do every day is focus on her actual record, focus
- 28:29Speaker 3: on the fact that she is not the challenger, She
- 28:32Speaker 3: is not out of power. She is in office right now.
- 28:36Speaker 3: The problems that she's campaigning against she caused, her policies
- 28:42Speaker 3: caused the chaos at the southern border. Not only did
- 28:46Speaker 3: she cause, not only was she in charge of as
- 28:48Speaker 3: the borders are, but she continues to cause them. She
- 28:51Speaker 3: doesn't change them even today. The inflation she caused and
- 28:56Speaker 3: Joe Biden caused by out of control spending in debt,
- 28:59Speaker 3: and by their as salt on oil and gas driving
- 29:01Speaker 3: up energy costs. The Trump campaign needs to lay out
- 29:05Speaker 3: the facts, lay out the record, and on substance. I
- 29:10Speaker 3: think this race, I think every day after next week,
- 29:13Speaker 3: Kamala's numbers go down.
- 29:15Speaker 2: It's interesting that you said they need to lay at
- 29:16Speaker 2: these facts and the rapid response from the Trump campaign.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I think did a pretty damn good job during the
- 29:22Speaker 2: Democratic Convention laying some of this out, because right at
- 29:24Speaker 2: the end of her speech, they sent out a picture
- 29:29Speaker 2: with Kamala Harris next to Joe Biden and it said
- 29:32Speaker 2: Biden Harris accomplishments.
- 29:34Speaker 1: And here it was the bullet points.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Allowed fifteen million inveted legals into the country, historic inflation crisis,
- 29:41Speaker 2: record high gas prices in all fifty states, record high
- 29:44Speaker 2: consumer debt, released terrorists into the country. Ukraine, Russia War, Israel, Humaswar, disaster,
- 29:53Speaker 2: to withdrawal from Afghanistan, violent crime skyrocketing, tried to jail
- 29:58Speaker 2: political rival in the name of democracy, lied to the
- 30:01Speaker 2: American public about Joe's decline, and I think we should
- 30:05Speaker 2: talk about that. In a second, Center declared war on
- 30:08Speaker 2: American energy. Record low test scores in this country right
- 30:13Speaker 2: now for Kate through twelve students, and she was also
- 30:17Speaker 2: the most unpopular vice president in US history. Now there's
- 30:23Speaker 2: a trust factor here, and I'm not so sure that
- 30:27Speaker 2: the Trump campaign has done a good enough job of
- 30:30Speaker 2: talking about this issue, and I think they should actually
- 30:32Speaker 2: talk about it more, especially at the debate coming up.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Is how can we trust you when you clearly covered
- 30:39Speaker 2: up the cognitive decline of the president of the United
- 30:41Speaker 2: States of America. I think that would resonate with American voters.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Can I trust a woman that clearly lied to me
- 30:49Speaker 2: for three years?
- 30:50Speaker 3: Yeah? I guess I don't see it the same way
- 30:53Speaker 3: you do. I think most voters are cynical to politicians
- 30:56Speaker 3: across the board. I think they think all politicians are liars.
- 31:00Speaker 3: And so did Kamala Harris lie to the American people
- 31:03Speaker 3: for four years? Absolutely? Did she cover up Joe Biden's
- 31:06Speaker 3: mental decline? Absolutely? I'm not sure that changes a vote,
- 31:10Speaker 3: though I think that's a little bit baked into the cake.
- 31:14Speaker 3: What I would like to see the conversation on. I
- 31:17Speaker 3: think every election turns on the most basic question, are
- 31:20Speaker 3: you better off than you were four years ago?
- 31:22Speaker 1: A man?
- 31:23Speaker 3: And when the Trump campaign gets distracted by issues that
- 31:28Speaker 3: are not about how the American people's lives are worse
- 31:32Speaker 3: off today than they were when Trump was president. If
- 31:36Speaker 3: the campaign gets distracted, it's not making progress. I think
- 31:40Speaker 3: it needs to focus every day. And by the way,
- 31:43Speaker 3: look that set of bullet points that the campaign put
- 31:46Speaker 3: out last night. That was a good set of bullet points.
- 31:50Speaker 3: That needs to be very much what Donald Trump is
- 31:54Speaker 3: saying on the stump, what he's saying and interviews, what
- 31:57Speaker 3: their ads are saying. And the points in there that
- 32:01Speaker 3: has not gotten enough attention is the plummeting test scores
- 32:05Speaker 3: for kids, and especially African American kids and Hispanic kids.
- 32:09Speaker 3: And you know, it was striking tonight at the convention.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Earlier in the convention, before Kamala spoke, they had Randy Weiningarten,
- 32:18Speaker 3: the leader of one of the big teachers unions, who
- 32:21Speaker 3: advocated for shutting down schools for over a year. Tens
- 32:26Speaker 3: of millions of school kids had their schools shut down
- 32:29Speaker 3: for over a year because of COVID. Kamala was a
- 32:32Speaker 3: vocal and vigorous advocate of that, and it will go down,
- 32:36Speaker 3: I believe in history, is one of the most catastrophic
- 32:38Speaker 3: policies ever implemented that hurt tens of millions of children
- 32:43Speaker 3: across this country. I think we need to make that
- 32:46Speaker 3: case that kids have been hurt by her radical policies,
- 32:50Speaker 3: and you overlay that by her radical immigration policies that
- 32:53Speaker 3: are releasing violent criminals that are threatening kids. You overlay
- 32:57Speaker 3: that with her radical policies supporting defense funding the police
- 33:00Speaker 3: that are releasing violent criminals that are threatening our kids. Look,
- 33:05Speaker 3: much of this election is going to come down to
- 33:10Speaker 3: suburban voters and suburban women who historically have voted Republican
- 33:18Speaker 3: and in recent years have moved left. And suburban women
- 33:24Speaker 3: in recent elections have not been fans of Trump personally
- 33:28Speaker 3: of his style. However, you look at the number one
- 33:33Speaker 3: issue with suburban women, it is illegal immigration and it
- 33:38Speaker 3: is crime. Those two together and it goes fundamentally to
- 33:42Speaker 3: the safety of their families, the safety of their kids.
- 33:45Speaker 3: And I think litigating that case, making the case that
- 33:49Speaker 3: Kamala Harris has endangered your family and your children is
- 33:55Speaker 3: really important. I also mention on the disconnected from reality.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Kamala went through this whole litany that Trump is going
- 34:04Speaker 3: to lock up his opponents and and wage war on
- 34:07Speaker 3: you and and send American troops against the American people,
- 34:12Speaker 3: and it really was a dystopian mad Max picture of
- 34:17Speaker 3: Trump as a deranged dictator. And listen, that's the kind
- 34:21Speaker 3: of rhetoric that sells well with left wing Democrats, but
- 34:26Speaker 3: it ignores the fact that we had four years with
- 34:29Speaker 3: Donald Trump as president. He didn't do any of that.
- 34:33Speaker 3: For that matter, the party that has done much of
- 34:37Speaker 3: that has been Joe Biden and Kamala Harris that have
- 34:40Speaker 3: used the Department of Justice and the FBI to attack
- 34:43Speaker 3: their their political opponents over and over and over again,
- 34:46Speaker 3: especially Donald Trump, but also pro life activists, also individual
- 34:51Speaker 3: conservatives engaged in free speech that they've engaged in the
- 34:54Speaker 3: most massive effort of censorship in bed with big tech,
- 34:59Speaker 3: and making that case that look, we know what a
- 35:03Speaker 3: Trump presidency is like, We've been through it, and in
- 35:07Speaker 3: almost every circumstance, the lives of Americans were better when
- 35:12Speaker 3: Trump was president than they are now. That contrast, every
- 35:16Speaker 3: day between now an election day needs to be front
- 35:19Speaker 3: and center.
- 35:19Speaker 2: I've got two more questions I want to ask you.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Before I do that, though, I want to tell you
- 35:23Speaker 2: about in Patriot Mobile, Americans are very tired and frustrated
- 35:28Speaker 2: by giving their money to companies that actually hate their values. Well,
- 35:31Speaker 2: in the big mobile world, there's a lot of companies
- 35:35Speaker 2: that hate your values, your conservative Christian values, and thankfully
- 35:39Speaker 2: there are companies like Patriot Mobile that still believe in
- 35:42Speaker 2: America and believe in our constitution.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Now.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I've been a proud partner with Patriot Mobile now for
- 35:47Speaker 2: about a decade. They've been in business for over a decade.
- 35:51Speaker 2: They found out when they were paying their bills to
- 35:53Speaker 2: the big mobile companies where their money was going.
- 35:55Speaker 1: It was going to.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Hardcore leftist causes, candidates and organizations, including those that support, advocate,
- 36:03Speaker 2: and pay for abortions. That is exactly why I want
- 36:07Speaker 2: you to switch to Patriot Mobile, because not only are
- 36:10Speaker 2: they in the front lines fighting for our First and
- 36:12Speaker 2: Second Amendment rights, but they put their money where their
- 36:14Speaker 2: mouth is. They take about five percent of your bill
- 36:16Speaker 2: every month, that no extra cost to you, and they
- 36:19Speaker 2: give it back to conservative organizations that support the sanctity
- 36:22Speaker 2: of life, support our military, support our first responders and
- 36:25Speaker 2: our wounded warriors, support our First and our Second Amendment.
- 36:30Speaker 2: So if you're ready to take a stand with your dollars, well,
- 36:32Speaker 2: then you need to switch to Patriot Mobile.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I'm going to give you a free month of.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Service and you're going to get the same nationwide coverage
- 36:40Speaker 2: as the big providers because they all now in twenty
- 36:42Speaker 2: twenty four use the same networks, the same towers. Plus
- 36:47Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile to give you a peace of mind, they
- 36:49Speaker 2: have a service coverage guarantee. They have one hundred percent
- 36:53Speaker 2: US based customer service team that will find the best
- 36:56Speaker 2: plans for your needs and many times save you real money.
- 37:00Speaker 2: So keep your same number, keep your phone, or you
- 37:02Speaker 2: can upgrade to a new one. Go to Patriotmobile dot
- 37:06Speaker 2: com slash verdict, Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict, or
- 37:11Speaker 2: call them nine seven to two Patriot that's nine seven
- 37:15Speaker 2: to two Patriot and get a free month when you
- 37:17Speaker 2: use the offer code verdict nine seven to two Patriot
- 37:21Speaker 2: or Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict and get a free
- 37:24Speaker 2: month service when you use the offer code verdict. Senaer
- 37:29Speaker 2: I got two questions I want to ask you. One
- 37:32Speaker 2: of them goes back to are the American people dumb enough?
- 37:36Speaker 2: Or are they going to be offended by one of
- 37:37Speaker 2: the things that Kamala Harris said. She said she accepted
- 37:41Speaker 2: the Democrats nomination on behalf of the people.
- 37:46Speaker 1: No one voted for this woman, No one.
- 37:49Speaker 5: Be clear, my entire career, I've only had one client,
- 37:54Speaker 5: the people, and so on. Behalf of the people.
- 38:05Speaker 1: On.
- 38:05Speaker 5: Behalf of every American, regardless of party, race, gender, or
- 38:13Speaker 5: the language of grandmother speaks.
- 38:17Speaker 4: On.
- 38:17Speaker 5: Behalf of my mother and everyone who has ever set
- 38:23Speaker 5: out on their own unlikely journey.
- 38:28Speaker 2: On.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Behalf of Americans, like the people I grew up with,
- 38:33Speaker 5: people who work hard, chase their dreams, and look out
- 38:38Speaker 5: for one another. On behalf of everyone whose story could
- 38:44Speaker 5: only be written in the greatest nation on earth.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I accept your nomination.
- 38:54Speaker 2: To be president and high of face center, great story,
- 39:00Speaker 2: eight words, great speech writing, thoes this one problem.
- 39:03Speaker 1: No one voted for her.
- 39:06Speaker 3: You know, I got to say again, I don't think
- 39:08Speaker 3: that's an issue that actually is going to move a
- 39:11Speaker 3: single vote today. So the people that would be mad
- 39:14Speaker 3: that no one voted for are the Democrats who voted
- 39:17Speaker 3: for Joe Biden, and other than Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Jill Biden, and Hunter Biden. I don't know that there
- 39:27Speaker 3: is a fourth Democrat in America that is mad right now.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Every one of them is thrilled and relieved that they
- 39:35Speaker 3: don't have what they perceived as the millstone around their neck.
- 39:38Speaker 3: That was Joe Biden bringing them to a certain loss,
- 39:42Speaker 3: and they all believe they now have a real chance
- 39:45Speaker 3: at victory in November. So there's not a single voter
- 39:49Speaker 3: on the Democrats side of the aisle who is angry
- 39:52Speaker 3: that they are disenfranchised, and I think anybody else, frankly
- 39:57Speaker 3: doesn't care. So that Riff, to be honest, I thought
- 40:01Speaker 3: that Riff was was pretty effective. I thought it was
- 40:04Speaker 3: well written. She did a good job of leaning into
- 40:07Speaker 3: her record as Attorney General. You notice, by the way,
- 40:10Speaker 3: there was essentially not a word about her time as Senator.
- 40:12Speaker 3: I served with her in the US Senate.
- 40:14Speaker 1: For man, I mean, there was nothing there.
- 40:17Speaker 3: I was going to ask you that she was the
- 40:19Speaker 3: most liberal senator in the entire US Senate. She voted
- 40:23Speaker 3: to the left of Bernie Sanders and to the left
- 40:28Speaker 3: of Elizabeth Warren, that is hard to do. I served
- 40:31Speaker 3: with Bernie and Elizabeth. They're both really whacked out on
- 40:34Speaker 3: the far left, and Kamala was further left. Remember Kamala
- 40:38Speaker 3: as a senator. In one hearing she compared ice are
- 40:42Speaker 3: our immigration agents with to the KKK, which was grotesque
- 40:46Speaker 3: and offensive, and all of that she just erased. Instead,
- 40:50Speaker 3: she leaned into her time and by the way, she
- 40:53Speaker 3: she largely erased her time as DA as well, because
- 40:56Speaker 3: her time as DA was a train wreck. She basically
- 40:59Speaker 3: leaned into her time as Attorney General. And I got
- 41:02Speaker 3: to tell you, state attorneys general, it is a great
- 41:05Speaker 3: job because a state ag lets you bring cases that
- 41:08Speaker 3: are really politically popular that you could lean in on.
- 41:11Speaker 3: So she could say, I fought on behalf of the elderly,
- 41:14Speaker 3: on behalf of veterans. Anyone who's been an AG could
- 41:17Speaker 3: give that same litany. But it's a pretty effective litany.
- 41:20Speaker 3: And saying, you know, she described going to court and saying,
- 41:23Speaker 3: Kamala Harris for the people. I got to say, having
- 41:26Speaker 3: spent five and a half years as Solicitor General of Texas,
- 41:30Speaker 3: any time I was in court and and and and
- 41:33Speaker 3: and say ted Cruz for the state of Texas. Look,
- 41:37Speaker 3: that would send send a chill down your spine. I
- 41:41Speaker 3: understood what she was saying when she was saying that,
- 41:43Speaker 3: and I thought rhetorically that was effective. Now the response
- 41:49Speaker 3: goes back to what we said before. The response is, well,
- 41:53Speaker 3: what have her policies done for the people? And they
- 41:56Speaker 3: have hurt the people over and over and over again.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Her record as Senator and her record as Vice President
- 42:06Speaker 3: has been Kamala Harris for the criminals, Kamala Harris for
- 42:10Speaker 3: the drug cartels, Kamala Harris for the human traffickers, Kamala
- 42:14Speaker 3: Harris for the Ayatola, Kamala Harris for Hamas and Hesbela,
- 42:20Speaker 3: because the money she sent to the Ayatola went to
- 42:23Speaker 3: Hamas and Hesbela, Kamala Harris for communist China. There was
- 42:26Speaker 3: virtually not a word about China and this entire speech
- 42:29Speaker 3: because this administration has been in bed with China from
- 42:32Speaker 3: day one. Her record has consistently been siding with everybody
- 42:37Speaker 3: except the American people. But in order for that point
- 42:42Speaker 3: to be made, it's incumbent on the Trump campaign to
- 42:46Speaker 3: make that point, because the media sures Heck isn't.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Which brings me my final question there is a chance
- 42:52Speaker 2: we could have a October surprise on Friday. There is
- 42:57Speaker 2: reporting out there, and this is pure spect. I want
- 43:00Speaker 2: to make that very clear that RFK Junior will be
- 43:05Speaker 2: with Trump and could possibly endorse Donald Trump.
- 43:11Speaker 1: How big of an impact could that have on this race?
- 43:13Speaker 2: If you go back and look at history, whether it's
- 43:15Speaker 2: a Green Party, whether it's you know, NAT, or whether
- 43:18Speaker 2: it's Parole, these third party candidates can absolutely sway an
- 43:23Speaker 2: election one way or the other.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Yeah, look, I don't know. So so RFK is dropping
- 43:29Speaker 3: out that that is happening at this very instant, So
- 43:32Speaker 3: he is pulling his name off of the ballot. That's happening.
- 43:36Speaker 3: Whether or not he endorses Trump, I don't know for sure.
- 43:39Speaker 3: I find it plausible that he will. I think he
- 43:42Speaker 3: really hates Biden and Harris and and and so if
- 43:46Speaker 3: he does endorse Trump, look, I think that's certainly a positive,
- 43:50Speaker 3: and it may even be a meaningful positive. I don't
- 43:52Speaker 3: know how significant that will be. When Biden was running,
- 43:57Speaker 3: there was potentially a significant share of the vote that
- 44:02Speaker 3: was disaffect affected Democrats who were unhappy with Joe Biden,
- 44:06Speaker 3: who recognized that he had serious mental decline that he
- 44:09Speaker 3: wasn't up to being commander in chief. Who were voting
- 44:11Speaker 3: for RFK as a protest vote. I think what Kamala
- 44:15Speaker 3: has done is largely brought back those disaffected Democrats. If
- 44:19Speaker 3: you look across the country, we're seeing polling numbers across
- 44:23Speaker 3: the country where Democrats are up anywhere from five to
- 44:25Speaker 3: eight points. And what has happened is the Democrats had
- 44:29Speaker 3: been fractured and divided and they've now become united. And
- 44:32Speaker 3: then they're united because they have hope again, because they're
- 44:35Speaker 3: they're They're like a drowning man who's been thrown a
- 44:37Speaker 3: life preserver. So I hope RFK does endorse Trump. I think,
- 44:42Speaker 3: as I said, that's a positive.
- 44:45Speaker 1: But at this.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Point, I'm not sure there are many RFK voters who
- 44:52Speaker 3: were going to be Democrat voters. If a few of
- 44:54Speaker 3: them they but you know what they that they to
- 44:57Speaker 3: the extent there are RFK voters and they still show
- 44:59Speaker 3: up and vote. If we're dis affected Trump voters and
- 45:01Speaker 3: they come back to Trump, that's a plus, and so
- 45:04Speaker 3: I'm glad of it, But I don't want to overstate
- 45:07Speaker 3: the consequence of it either.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to be very interesting to see what
- 45:11Speaker 2: it does in the race and at the final tally,
- 45:13Speaker 2: especially in swing states, because that's where it would matter
- 45:16Speaker 2: in theory the most.
- 45:18Speaker 1: That's where it would matter. Don't forget. We do the
- 45:20Speaker 1: show Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
