- 2:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah. Man, boy boy
- 2:17Speaker 1: boy boy man. God has been good to me. I
- 2:20Speaker 1: can't even.
- 2:23Speaker 6: I can't even put it into words, man, But I try, though,
- 2:27Speaker 6: I try, I try, I try.
- 2:29Speaker 1: God does things for me just right on time. He's
- 2:32Speaker 1: so cool with it.
- 2:33Speaker 6: And I happened to run across Joel Oldstein on television
- 2:39Speaker 6: like I often do all the time, and I was
- 2:44Speaker 6: sitting there and he had such a timely message for me.
- 2:49Speaker 6: A part of it was something that I've said oftentimes
- 2:52Speaker 6: about if you really really want to be successful, if
- 2:58Speaker 6: you really really want to check, if you really really
- 3:01Speaker 6: want to prosper If you really really want to achieve greatness,
- 3:05Speaker 6: if you really really want to have something in life
- 3:08Speaker 6: that's worth having, if you really really want to accomplish
- 3:11Speaker 6: your goals, you got to push through all of it.
- 3:16Speaker 1: He said that when you get closer to it, the
- 3:20Speaker 1: more difficult it becomes. Did you hear me?
- 3:25Speaker 6: He said, the closer you get to what it is
- 3:28Speaker 6: you want or you need, or you have to have
- 3:31Speaker 6: or you would love to be, it gets a little
- 3:36Speaker 6: bit more difficult when you get closer.
- 3:39Speaker 1: He told this story that's in the Bible that I
- 3:44Speaker 1: never heard before. This is what he said.
- 3:47Speaker 6: He said, there was a man who was paralyzed, and
- 3:54Speaker 6: he had heard that Jesus was speaking at a house,
- 3:59Speaker 6: and so he wanted to get there. So he convinced
- 4:02Speaker 6: four of his friends to put him on a stretcher
- 4:08Speaker 6: and carry him for hours to get to this house
- 4:13Speaker 6: where Jesus was speaking. He said that along the way,
- 4:20Speaker 6: these friends said that they went along because he had
- 4:25Speaker 6: so much faith that if he could just get to him,
- 4:29Speaker 6: it could be better that he could if he could
- 4:32Speaker 6: just get over there and he could see him, that
- 4:34Speaker 6: he might have a shot at getting here. And so
- 4:37Speaker 6: he said they took out along the way and they
- 4:39Speaker 6: walked and they walked and they walked for hours. And
- 4:43Speaker 6: then when they got there, the house was completely filled
- 4:48Speaker 6: with people. That was absolutely it was packed wall to wall.
- 4:52Speaker 6: There was absolutely no way for the men to get
- 4:55Speaker 6: him on that stretcher in to see Jesus. This is
- 4:59Speaker 6: a story that uh Joe Lostein said, It is in
- 5:02Speaker 6: the Bible, and he was telling it now. I'm just
- 5:05Speaker 6: repeating the parts of it. I got gathered and so
- 5:09Speaker 6: he said. They sat there and they went, wow, man,
- 5:11Speaker 6: we walked all this weight and it's full, and and
- 5:15Speaker 6: and and and and and we can't get there, he said.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And then the guy with the affliction told the four men,
- 5:25Speaker 1: if you get.
- 5:25Speaker 6: Up on the roof and cut a hole in it
- 5:29Speaker 6: and lower me down, I bet I could see him then,
- 5:34Speaker 6: and I bet it to be all right now. He
- 5:38Speaker 6: then said, you must imagined how these four men must
- 5:42Speaker 6: have felt when you carry somebody for hours on on
- 5:46Speaker 6: on on on on on the way. They had to
- 5:48Speaker 6: carry some cloth connected by a couple of sticks, said
- 5:52Speaker 6: to me, and shoulders had to be bruised, had to
- 5:55Speaker 6: have deep gouges, and them not cuts, but just indentations
- 5:59Speaker 6: where they had carried the weight of this grown man
- 6:01Speaker 6: for so many hours, and they looked at him in disbelief, like, man,
- 6:05Speaker 6: what are you talking about?
- 6:06Speaker 1: We done walked all this far.
- 6:08Speaker 6: He said, yeah, But if you get up on that
- 6:10Speaker 6: roof and you cut a hole in it and lower
- 6:13Speaker 6: me down, I can see him and when he see me,
- 6:17Speaker 6: it'll be all right. After sitting there and imploring the men,
- 6:22Speaker 6: they went up and did just that, And in the
- 6:27Speaker 6: story that Joel's Dean said, the man was healed. But
- 6:31Speaker 6: the point he was making was he was saying that
- 6:35Speaker 6: the closer you get to what it is you really want,
- 6:39Speaker 6: the more difficult it's going to become. But you've got
- 6:42Speaker 6: to push through. See, if you don't push through, you
- 6:45Speaker 6: never know. See, you can't get right to the answer.
- 6:48Speaker 6: And because it gets really difficult, started creating those little
- 6:52Speaker 6: saying that we got as people. Well, I guess it
- 6:55Speaker 6: wasn't meant to be. I guess it wasn't the Lord's Now, man,
- 7:01Speaker 6: I guess you should not give up right now. I
- 7:04Speaker 6: guess you should keep pressing. I guess you should do more,
- 7:07Speaker 6: because see, in all of us, in all of us,
- 7:10Speaker 6: when you've had enough, I want.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You to know something you do have a little bit
- 7:15Speaker 1: more in all of us. You can do one more
- 7:20Speaker 1: you know.
- 7:20Speaker 6: That's one of my favorite things that I heard Joel
- 7:22Speaker 6: Oldstein said, and it kind of made me feel good.
- 7:24Speaker 6: He said, I always feel like I can do one
- 7:29Speaker 6: more anything, and I tell my friends all the time,
- 7:32Speaker 6: I can do one more man.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I could do one more day. I can do one
- 7:37Speaker 1: more anything. Now Here was the jewel that I never
- 7:43Speaker 1: really knew that Joel Oldstein and God sent to me
- 7:48Speaker 1: I needed to hear.
- 7:51Speaker 6: He said that no matter what you're going through, no
- 7:55Speaker 6: matter how long the challenge is you've been facing, God
- 7:59Speaker 6: has an in date for it all.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Did you hear me?
- 8:04Speaker 6: No matter what you're going through, no matter what challenge
- 8:06Speaker 6: you're facing, no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into,
- 8:10Speaker 6: God has an ending date. All you got to do
- 8:15Speaker 6: is keep pressing forward. All you got to do is
- 8:18Speaker 6: hang in now. All you got to do is don't
- 8:22Speaker 6: give up. All you have to do is don't turn back.
- 8:26Speaker 6: There is an ind date for all of it, even
- 8:30Speaker 6: when you think you've had enough. And boy, have I
- 8:35Speaker 6: had this conversation with God on several things that I've
- 8:40Speaker 6: been going through and going I've even told him, Look,
- 8:43Speaker 6: I got it, man, He said, just keep hanging on.
- 8:49Speaker 6: There is an in date to whatever it is you're
- 8:52Speaker 6: going through. There's an end date to your illness, your sickness,
- 8:57Speaker 6: your tired of being tired. There's an end date to
- 9:00Speaker 6: this relationship that you can't seem to get through beyond
- 9:08Speaker 6: overs that's like a cancer to you. There's an end date.
- 9:14Speaker 6: But you've got to hang in there. You've got to
- 9:18Speaker 6: keep pushing forward. You cannot turn around. You must not
- 9:22Speaker 6: go back, because when God gets you through this and
- 9:27Speaker 6: you break through to the other side, the reward and
- 9:30Speaker 6: the benefit is far greater than the struggle.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I oftentimes look.
- 9:38Speaker 6: At some of the things that God has brought me
- 9:40Speaker 6: through in my worst times, and when He brought me through,
- 9:44Speaker 6: I went, wow, man, now that I understand that, Now
- 9:48Speaker 6: that I'm on the other side and I have the
- 9:50Speaker 6: benefit of the reward for it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Would you do it all again to get there? Yes,
- 9:55Speaker 1: I would.
- 9:58Speaker 6: Show ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls might have your attention. Please,

- 20:35Speaker 12: She drinks a lot and has had men come by
- 20:38Speaker 12: my house all hours of the night to drink with her.
- 20:41Speaker 12: One of her visitors was coming out of my guest
- 20:43Speaker 12: bathroom the other day and I was still in my nightgown.
- 20:47Speaker 12: The guy propositioned me, and I was furious. I told

- 20:52Speaker 12: my home anymore.
- 20:54Speaker 7: She said, I can't tell her what to do.
- 20:56Speaker 12: Well, how do I respectfully get my mother in line
- 20:59Speaker 12: while she's in my home?
- 21:01Speaker 4: See?
- 21:02Speaker 6: Well, you know, see you can't tell her what to
- 21:07Speaker 6: do in life, but you you can have rules in
- 21:11Speaker 6: your house and respect goes both ways.

- 21:33Speaker 6: and my own house, that's unacceptable.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I can't be in my home and be uncomfortable.
- 21:38Speaker 6: You can go out with me and just go meet
- 21:39Speaker 6: them at the tavern, because that's what they are, a tavern,
- 21:42Speaker 6: do cavern?
- 21:44Speaker 1: He was at the tavern?
- 21:47Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, put a stop to that where tavern always

- 21:57Speaker 12: Well, you could tell she's a nice woman because she
- 22:00Speaker 12: wants to know how to do it respectfully.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Meanwhile, you have established rules, yeah, and she can. You
- 22:07Speaker 6: can't tell her what to do, but you can you
- 22:09Speaker 6: can decide what happens in your house. You can't tell
- 22:12Speaker 6: her not to see me, but you can't see him
- 22:14Speaker 6: in here though.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That's right, right? Period? Right? Steve? All right?
- 22:18Speaker 12: Uh, you're gonna love this name out of Charlotte, Coalfax, Coax.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Cold frakt straight out of Cleveland, come.
- 22:28Speaker 12: On, Colefax says, Uh, my girlfriend and I had a
- 22:32Speaker 12: weekend get away in neighboring city, and my girlfriend made
- 22:35Speaker 12: all of the plans.
- 22:36Speaker 7: She booked a hotel.
- 22:38Speaker 12: When we checked in, the girl at the front death
- 22:40Speaker 12: said welcome back and offered my girlfriend and I a
- 22:43Speaker 12: discounted massage because of her loyalty.
- 22:46Speaker 7: Point. I'm looking sideways at her all weekend after that?
- 22:50Speaker 12: Do I question her about being a regular at this
- 22:53Speaker 12: hotel or do you think it will come out eventually?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Well, no, dough.
- 23:00Speaker 6: When you meet people, people have histories. Ain't no need
- 23:03Speaker 6: of you digging up the history. So she been to
- 23:06Speaker 6: the hotel before welcome back? Maybe she liked the massages
- 23:10Speaker 6: down there, Yeah, ain't. She could have went down there
- 23:13Speaker 6: on girls' weekends. Ain't nothing to say. She was down
- 23:15Speaker 6: there with some dudes. So, dog, what you tripping for?
- 23:18Speaker 7: Cold facts?
- 23:20Speaker 4: Now?
- 23:20Speaker 1: You know he wants the facts? Now, these is the
- 23:23Speaker 1: cold facts.
- 23:24Speaker 6: Everybody had a life folded before they met you, and
- 23:28Speaker 6: like you had one two. So don't blow a good
- 23:32Speaker 6: thing trying to dig up dirt, because whatever you dig up,
- 23:36Speaker 6: it ain't really dirt.
- 23:37Speaker 1: She didn't know you. I like, how, no, man, you
- 23:42Speaker 1: can't blame nobody.
- 23:43Speaker 6: For nothing that that didn't have nothing to do with you, right,
- 23:47Speaker 6: That wouldn't bother you all weekend though, would Hell?
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:01Speaker 7: Are you being a hypocrite right now?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:04Speaker 1: Sitting in the car.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Bah, that's all it is.
- 24:11Speaker 1: She just like man, I mean, that's probably all it is,
- 24:14Speaker 1: you know, looks still and crazy all right?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Moving on?
- 24:19Speaker 12: Ama in East Saint Louis says, I'm dating I'm dating
- 24:24Speaker 12: a man. This is crazy right here?
- 24:26Speaker 7: This one too.
- 24:27Speaker 12: I'm dating a man that is married and his wife
- 24:30Speaker 12: is a lunatic. She's been knowing about us for a while,
- 24:33Speaker 12: so I'm shocked she still cares. I think she needs
- 24:36Speaker 12: to take all of her anger out on her husband
- 24:38Speaker 12: because he seeks me out, not the other way around.
- 24:41Speaker 12: I've had to get a restraining order on her, and
- 24:45Speaker 12: I had to put cameras on the front of my
- 24:46Speaker 12: house because I'm sure she was the one that tried
- 24:49Speaker 12: to slash my tires once. I've asked her nicely not
- 24:53Speaker 12: to bother me. Would I be wrong to beat her
- 24:56Speaker 12: ass one good time?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Prize?
- 25:00Speaker 1: She ain't beat your ass one good time? What you
- 25:04Speaker 1: the one in the wrong?
- 25:05Speaker 6: You're sleeping with this woman's husband you're talking about. He
- 25:09Speaker 6: the one that seeks me out. He ain't got to
- 25:11Speaker 6: look too hard, right you responding?
- 25:15Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 25:16Speaker 1: He seeks me out?
- 25:17Speaker 2: You know well?
- 25:18Speaker 6: Or well you know you can put a stop to that.
- 25:22Speaker 6: He seeks you out because you're wanting to be sought after.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Now a woman know about y'all. She might be trying
- 25:30Speaker 6: to fight for her husband. And yeah, she was one
- 25:33Speaker 6: trying to slit your tie. That ain't all Should I
- 25:37Speaker 6: beat her for?
- 25:38Speaker 3: What?
- 25:39Speaker 6: Do you know that the prison time you could do
- 25:42Speaker 6: for that? You sleeping with a woman's husband. And now
- 25:47Speaker 6: you won't do something to her because she over there
- 25:49Speaker 6: to get her husband. That ain't how that's gonna work
- 25:52Speaker 6: in the court of law. What wait a minute, has
- 25:56Speaker 6: she asked you leave her husband alone?
- 25:59Speaker 7: Nicely?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Gotta get bamah? How you ask me nicely? Right? All right?
- 26:07Speaker 7: This is from Johnson and Omaha.
- 26:09Speaker 12: Johnson says, my kids and I moved to a different
- 26:12Speaker 12: city after I divorced their mom. I got full custody
- 26:14Speaker 12: and I moved so I would that I would have
- 26:18Speaker 12: my family support raising them. My toxic ex wife has
- 26:21Speaker 12: decided to move closer to us, and I don't think
- 26:23Speaker 12: she's fit enough to have visitation with our children. I
- 26:26Speaker 12: don't want to say what's wrong with her, but she
- 26:28Speaker 12: has some bad habits, and our children are all under
- 26:31Speaker 12: ten years old. I can't stop her from moving closer,
- 26:34Speaker 12: but I can. But can I stop her from seeing
- 26:37Speaker 12: them at all? Will this impact my kids later?
- 26:41Speaker 6: I don't know, because I'm not aware of the problem.
- 26:44Speaker 6: But I do know that in a divorce, they rarely
- 26:49Speaker 6: take a child away from a mother unless she's unfit.
- 26:54Speaker 6: They don't normally do that. Women got DIBs on them kids, man,
- 26:59Speaker 6: and so I don't know what she did that caused
- 27:01Speaker 6: the court to allow you to have full custody of them.
- 27:05Speaker 6: But if they did that, you can't get some You
- 27:08Speaker 6: don't deny them visitation, but you can get supervised visitations.
- 27:13Speaker 12: That's for show, all right, thank you, Celo, brilliant as usual,
- 27:19Speaker 12: you're listening.

- 36:55Speaker 1: Give each other?
- 36:56Speaker 7: What the silent treatment?

- 37:27Speaker 10: we know that our jobs isn't as lucrative as yours.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Steve.
- 37:32Speaker 10: So because when we're with you, When we're with you, Steve,

- 37:55Speaker 3: No? No ever? No?
- 37:57Speaker 10: So Okay, So here's a question for Junior and Tommy.
- 37:59Speaker 10: So think about your friends and family. You're the ones
- 38:02Speaker 10: who make the decent money in this friendship or in
- 38:06Speaker 10: your family, in your circle. Yeah, Now, do you splurge
- 38:09Speaker 10: on them or do you feel like they're a leech?
- 38:13Speaker 3: Or?
- 38:13Speaker 1: And does money actually change everything? Can we talk about
- 38:19Speaker 1: something else? And why? Because I don't need my family
- 38:22Speaker 1: then uston listening?
- 38:24Speaker 4: Well, we gotta go on on say it though, Junior,
- 38:26Speaker 4: We'll go ahead, I splurge on them. I guess my
- 38:30Speaker 4: problem is is when I think you expect it.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Okay, when we sit.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Down for dinner at a restaurant and it's fifteen twenty
- 38:38Speaker 4: of us, I think I started.
- 38:41Speaker 1: You know, I've been telling my wife, I.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Said, I think they expect this all the damn to
- 38:44Speaker 4: Ain't nobody said I got by, I got me and
- 38:46Speaker 4: my wife I got hours.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Don't nobody say that it's just past that envelope down
- 38:52Speaker 1: at the time. They're not fit to say that either.
- 38:54Speaker 10: No, they're not gonna because you're talking to somebody speaking
- 38:57Speaker 10: up right now.
- 38:58Speaker 6: Ye see, go ahead, y'all through the whole process. But
- 39:01Speaker 6: please don't expect them to ever say it.
- 39:05Speaker 1: They donna fix their lips or nothing that ain't fitting
- 39:09Speaker 1: to come out.
- 39:10Speaker 6: Don't, don't, don't, don't prepare your ears like what, No,
- 39:14Speaker 6: because they didn't. They didn't say it. They're not fitting
- 39:18Speaker 6: to say it. They ain't about to say it. Hello,
- 39:21Speaker 6: be fit and pray for everything. So what I do
- 39:24Speaker 6: with my family when I'm around them, I just treat
- 39:26Speaker 6: them first class. Y'all just come on this to life here,
- 39:29Speaker 6: it is welcome. Now when y'all go home, you know,
- 39:34Speaker 6: I take care of my family.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Now.
- 39:36Speaker 6: You know, my brothers and sisters, they ain't gotta they
- 39:38Speaker 6: ain't gotta work. I caught here go y'all's you know,
- 39:42Speaker 6: little summer ed month.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Here you go.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I love y'all.
- 39:45Speaker 6: I know I don't want y'all struggling. My little little
- 39:48Speaker 6: baby brod doing good here. After that, that's it.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Mm hm see. But what I did was I had
- 39:57Speaker 1: to do that because I had to stop.
- 39:58Speaker 6: The constant request fairness coming out air conditioning brin.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Uh huh, I need ties. So they kept coming to
- 40:08Speaker 1: you this connection. Notice I went to the doctor. Hold up,
- 40:14Speaker 1: hold hold you gotta pay the doctor bill.
- 40:19Speaker 6: And you know it becomes a request from two sisters
- 40:24Speaker 6: a nephew. My nephew ain't never asked me for the
- 40:26Speaker 6: two sisters, two brothers, just the request. I'm trying to
- 40:31Speaker 6: fix my garage. Can you help me that? Damn dough?
- 40:35Speaker 6: It's this lodge and to see, I don't want to
- 40:37Speaker 6: hear that. So what I do is, I just I
- 40:42Speaker 6: got everybody in the situation here we are that everybody
- 40:46Speaker 6: got a little payroll check coming from here. It is
- 40:49Speaker 6: every month. You know you're gonna get that all y'all pensions,
- 40:52Speaker 6: y'all can keep your pensions that you done earned off
- 40:54Speaker 6: your jobs or retirement money and higge your little baby
- 40:59Speaker 6: brother throwing it a little bit more. Now, can you
- 41:02Speaker 6: make it from that? Because I feel as though you should.
- 41:09Speaker 6: I really don't see how we can't.
- 41:11Speaker 1: Get hanging now.
- 41:13Speaker 10: That's cool because I think a lot of people that
- 41:14Speaker 10: are listening right now, you know they're the breadwinners of
- 41:17Speaker 10: their family and friends. This is a common problem that
- 41:21Speaker 10: you know everybody's dealing with. So it's cool to hear
- 41:23Speaker 10: from you.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Steve.
- 41:24Speaker 7: Well, you're rich enough where you can put your family
- 41:26Speaker 7: on your payroll.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Look, most most people can't do that, But here's what
- 41:29Speaker 1: I suggest you do.
- 41:30Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Here's what you do.
- 41:32Speaker 6: Work out a nominal amount of money or it's a
- 41:37Speaker 6: word minimal. I don't know what it is. But look,
- 41:39Speaker 6: make work out the small amount of money minimal that
- 41:43Speaker 6: you can afford that you know they gonna beg you
- 41:45Speaker 6: out of anyway.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Mm hm.
- 41:47Speaker 6: And just say, look, once a month, I'm gonna send
- 41:51Speaker 6: you a hundred hundred and fifty. Once a month, I'm
- 41:53Speaker 6: gonna send you two hundred whatever that number is, right, okay,
- 41:56Speaker 6: And just here you go, man, take care of yourself.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I got some more questions.
- 42:04Speaker 7: You're listening Morning show.
- 42:12Speaker 12: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 42:14Speaker 12: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today and
- 42:17Speaker 12: the subject is my ex wife made my son hate me.
- 42:21Speaker 12: Wait till you hear this. We'll get into it in
- 42:23Speaker 12: a little bit. But right now, the nephew is here
- 42:26Speaker 12: with today's prank phone call. What you got for his
- 42:28Speaker 12: neph The doctor's visit, the doctor's visits?
- 42:36Speaker 3: I know it? Does I know it?
- 42:38Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Okay, Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach a Roger. Please
- 42:44Speaker 3: he's not here.
- 42:45Speaker 9: I take a message.
- 42:46Speaker 3: My name is Mark, ma'am. I'm calling from the.
- 42:49Speaker 9: Club music down hold on, I'm sorry, say that again.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Okay, can you hear me?
- 42:54Speaker 9: I can hear you now.
- 42:55Speaker 3: I'm trying to reach Rogers. He's not here, Okay. I'm
- 42:59Speaker 3: calling from from the clinic, from doctor Robert's office and
- 43:03Speaker 3: trying to get some information to him. When do you
- 43:05Speaker 3: know what he actually be in? No?
- 43:07Speaker 9: Actually I don't. Is everything okay?
- 43:11Speaker 3: Uh? Well, you know everything's fine. I mean, nothing that
- 43:13Speaker 3: can't be handled. But we were trying to actually get
- 43:16Speaker 3: some information to him so that he can actually come
- 43:19Speaker 3: back in for the results.
- 43:21Speaker 9: Okay, well I don't. I don't know when I can.
- 43:24Speaker 9: He's supposed to be here now, I'm not sure when
- 43:27Speaker 9: I can tell you he's going to be back.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Who I'm sorry I didn't ask you earlier. Man. Who
- 43:31Speaker 3: am I actually speaking with?
- 43:33Speaker 9: This is his girlfriend and is Jen Jen?
- 43:37Speaker 3: Okay, so Jan, you don't you say you don't know,
- 43:40Speaker 3: you don't have an idea when he'll be back.
- 43:42Speaker 9: No, it's trying to make me kind of give a
- 43:45Speaker 9: little concern though.
- 43:46Speaker 3: No, no, no, wow, Okay, I'll tell you what. This
- 43:50Speaker 3: is the number that he actually left us to give
- 43:52Speaker 3: him a call on his results, and we're not getting
- 43:55Speaker 3: an answer. I don't have another number on hand. Do
- 43:58Speaker 3: you have any specific time I can actually all back
- 44:00Speaker 3: and maybe I'll get him again.
- 44:02Speaker 9: I'm you're making my stomach is getting nervous right now.
- 44:06Speaker 9: What is what is the problem?
- 44:07Speaker 3: Well, actually you know what is, ma'am. As mister Rogers
- 44:11Speaker 3: came in for UH to take a few tests, and
- 44:13Speaker 3: he took some tests and we actually have the results
- 44:15Speaker 3: in and we'd actually really like for him to come back.
- 44:17Speaker 9: I don't know anything about it. I'm sorry, I didn't
- 44:19Speaker 9: mean to interrupt you, but I don't know anything about
- 44:21Speaker 9: any tests. He hasn't told me anything about going to
- 44:23Speaker 9: a clinic or anything like that. I see, So what
- 44:27Speaker 9: kind of tests are you talking about?
- 44:28Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I'm not really not at liberty to
- 44:31Speaker 3: give you any kind of information unless you're actually on
- 44:33Speaker 3: the paperwork. So you know, it's not even something that
- 44:35Speaker 3: I can discuss unless the patient has signed off that
- 44:38Speaker 3: you are the next and ken or the person that
- 44:40Speaker 3: can we can actually give the information to you.
- 44:42Speaker 9: You do know you I do, and I'm pretty certain,
- 44:47Speaker 9: I mean the way we operate in this house, so
- 44:49Speaker 9: I'm pretty certain that that I'm on the paperwork. So
- 44:52Speaker 9: would you see he pull up.
- 44:54Speaker 3: Roger stuff on computer here and I'll see what I
- 44:57Speaker 3: give me one second, please, sure, okay, okay, let's see now.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Let me scroll down for next to Ken. Okay, I
- 45:04Speaker 3: got a Janis.
- 45:06Speaker 1: That is me.
- 45:07Speaker 9: I mean everybody called me jam, but that's me Janis.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Wow. Okay, tell me your name again.
- 45:12Speaker 9: I'm sorry, what's your name again?
- 45:14Speaker 3: Mark? Mark? Like I said, I'm the clerk here at
- 45:16Speaker 3: doctor Robert Bofers, I guess I am at Liberty to
- 45:19Speaker 3: tell you what's going on? Please do mister Roger came
- 45:22Speaker 3: in and took some STD test STD yes, And I
- 45:27Speaker 3: guess at this point I should just maybe both of
- 45:30Speaker 3: you guys would come in and wait, wait a minute,
- 45:33Speaker 3: way everybody, no, no.
- 45:35Speaker 9: No, no, no, no no, I need you to finish
- 45:38Speaker 9: what you were just saying.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Well, no, that's what I'm saying. Man. What has happened
- 45:41Speaker 3: is he's been diagnosed with as well as.
- 45:46Speaker 9: You got to be kidding me. You have got to
- 45:48Speaker 9: be kidding me. Okay, I'm not hearing this.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Seconds.
- 45:54Speaker 9: See what that means? Do you understand that he lives
- 45:57Speaker 9: in my household? Do you understand what that means that
- 45:59Speaker 9: he has been dipping somewhere else because I have been
- 46:03Speaker 9: not doing anything that would even come close to bringing
- 46:06Speaker 9: something to him like that. So it's our parents that
- 46:09Speaker 9: this man has been outside of my household and do
- 46:12Speaker 9: it when he has no business doing it, and bring
- 46:14Speaker 9: it back in.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Man, I'm not at liberty making any accusations like that.
- 46:18Speaker 3: I cannot say anything like that. All I can say
- 46:20Speaker 3: is I'd like for both of you. You know, it'd
- 46:22Speaker 3: be good for both of you guys to come in
- 46:23Speaker 3: because they will tell you about this is something treatable,
- 46:27Speaker 3: it is curable.
- 46:29Speaker 9: Care about it being treatable or curable. What I care
- 46:31Speaker 9: about is the fact that he apparently had been somewhere
- 46:35Speaker 9: with some trick and brought something back home to my household.
- 46:39Speaker 9: That's what I care about.
- 46:40Speaker 3: I do understand that, Missus Dannis. I do, but you
- 46:43Speaker 3: have to understand my position and what I'm trying to do.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I'm just reaching out.
- 46:46Speaker 9: And well, listen, you happen to call my household, you
- 46:49Speaker 9: just have to have to be on the end, on
- 46:51Speaker 9: the other side of it. I'm sorry you're getting most
- 46:53Speaker 9: of it, but I tell you what what you need
- 46:55Speaker 9: to do is you need to make him an appointment
- 46:58Speaker 9: and I will meet him there.
- 46:59Speaker 3: He will be wait wait, wait, wait, wait when he
- 47:02Speaker 3: wait a minute, wait a minute, I'm sorry.
- 47:03Speaker 9: You need to make him an appointment to come out
- 47:06Speaker 9: to take a look at these results you're talking about.
- 47:08Speaker 9: And guess who will show up at the door before
- 47:10Speaker 9: he gets there?
- 47:11Speaker 3: Me, that's what I'm even with three. I mean, since
- 47:13Speaker 3: you're the next Mexican, wouldn't it better for you just
- 47:15Speaker 3: needs it to tell him what's going long?
- 47:17Speaker 9: Since I'm net, you know this is the plan you
- 47:20Speaker 9: need to give him. You need to give him a
- 47:22Speaker 9: call and give you a steal phone number you haven't.
- 47:24Speaker 3: Yes, I have a pig. Okay, I got it.
- 47:28Speaker 9: Okay, you call him a set of twelve new appointment.
- 47:31Speaker 9: Trust me when I tell you when he walks through
- 47:34Speaker 9: that door and seize my faith, he will know.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Okay, okay, ms min Setlls. I'm not trying to create
- 47:38Speaker 3: chaos to let mister Roger know that we need him
- 47:44Speaker 3: to come actually into the building.
- 47:46Speaker 9: I could give to about a call. All I know
- 47:50Speaker 9: is you make that appointment. I will get there before
- 47:52Speaker 9: he gets there and his own I'm telling you that's
- 47:56Speaker 9: how it's gonna run.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Do you understand me, miss miss Mizeid? I can't allow
- 48:01Speaker 3: any chaos to be going on in the building. I
- 48:03Speaker 3: cannot allow that. Let me know you're create it.
- 48:05Speaker 9: Let me tell you something I don't care. I could
- 48:08Speaker 9: care less about what you feel about it and what
- 48:10Speaker 9: you can and can. All I'm telling you is you.
- 48:17Speaker 3: Looking for mister Rogers and you call him soon to
- 48:20Speaker 3: be white.
- 48:22Speaker 9: Correction correction, soon to not be white.
- 48:26Speaker 3: I got one more thing I do need to tell you, though,
- 48:28Speaker 3: miss you know what.
- 48:29Speaker 9: I can't deal with another thing. I swear to God,
- 48:31Speaker 9: don't tell me everything out.
- 48:32Speaker 3: But I do have a one.
- 48:35Speaker 9: Make your appointment. That's all I care about.
- 48:37Speaker 3: You make your appointment, will make your point. But I
- 48:39Speaker 3: need you to ask to somebody when you come to
- 48:41Speaker 3: the clinic. I need you to ask for one person
- 48:43Speaker 3: and then they will take care of you.
- 48:45Speaker 9: Who do I need to ask for us?
- 48:46Speaker 3: Okay, you need to ask for nephew Tommy from the
- 48:49Speaker 3: Steve Harvey Morning Show, because that's who I am. You
- 48:52Speaker 3: just got pranked by your husband, Roger.
- 48:57Speaker 9: You know what my on it tell me tell me
- 49:03Speaker 9: I listened to you everyone. I said, no, Oh my goodness,
- 49:07Speaker 9: I am so embarrassed. And wait till I see.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Tell me, are you all right.
- 49:13Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, I am I am over.
- 49:17Speaker 3: I'm done. I'm done.
- 49:19Speaker 9: I can't believe I.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Got I got one more thing. I got to ask. Okay,
- 49:23Speaker 3: what is the baddest that I mean, the baddest radio
- 49:26Speaker 3: show in the land, the.

- 49:53Speaker 1: If you really gave her disease?
- 49:54Speaker 3: Though?

- 50:03Speaker 2: the deal with.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Man for her?

- 51:44Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. We got it for
- 51:46Speaker 1: you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 51:49Speaker 12: Subject my wife made sure my son hates me. Do
- 51:54Speaker 12: Stephen Shirley. I'm going to jump right on end. I
- 51:58Speaker 12: cheated on my wife two years ago with a woman
- 52:01Speaker 12: that constantly threatened to call my wife.
- 52:04Speaker 7: When she didn't get what she wanted.
- 52:06Speaker 12: This went on two years until I ran out of
- 52:09Speaker 12: money and decided to end the affair.
- 52:12Speaker 7: This woman called my wife a few days later.
- 52:15Speaker 12: I was out cutting the yard when my wife when
- 52:18Speaker 12: she called my house and my wife answered. I walked
- 52:21Speaker 12: in and my wife was on the speaker phone listening
- 52:25Speaker 12: to my side chicks, with my son sitting there listening
- 52:29Speaker 12: to everything. He was twelve years old at the time,
- 52:32Speaker 12: and I made him leave the room, but he had
- 52:35Speaker 12: already heard enough. My relationship with him was ruined.
- 52:39Speaker 1: After that day.
- 52:40Speaker 12: My home life was terrible too, so I moved out
- 52:43Speaker 12: after my wife served me with divorce papers.
- 52:48Speaker 7: We are in the process of.
- 52:49Speaker 12: Discussing who will get custody of our son, and I
- 52:52Speaker 12: haven't seen him in months. His mother's brainwatched him to
- 52:56Speaker 12: think I'm a no good cheater and liar. She has
- 52:59Speaker 12: him in the middle of grown folks business, and when
- 53:02Speaker 12: we talk, she's always on speakerphone so my son can
- 53:05Speaker 12: hear all of the conversation. She sends me text messages
- 53:09Speaker 12: with our son on the text thread, and she's usually.
- 53:12Speaker 7: Calling me names and cursing me out.
- 53:15Speaker 12: She's brought up all kinds of things that have happened
- 53:17Speaker 12: in our marriage, and my son doesn't need to know
- 53:19Speaker 12: all of that. I'm dying to see him, so I
- 53:23Speaker 12: send him a text asking him to have dinner with
- 53:25Speaker 12: me one day soon. He sent me the most disrespectful
- 53:30Speaker 12: reply a child could send a father.
- 53:33Speaker 7: I wanted to go snatch him up real quick, but
- 53:36Speaker 7: I can't.
- 53:37Speaker 12: This is not the boy I raised. He needs his
- 53:40Speaker 12: father back in his life. How can I reverse all
- 53:43Speaker 12: of this brainwashing? Please advise? Well, I don't know if
- 53:48Speaker 12: you're going to be able to do that.
- 53:49Speaker 7: And I have to say this. Everything in this letter
- 53:51Speaker 7: is just terrible. Everything in this letter, I mean.
- 53:54Speaker 12: You cheated for the lamest excuse ever, I mean in
- 53:59Speaker 12: the history of she just say you cheated or wanted
- 54:02Speaker 12: to cheat, cheating because this woman was gonna call your
- 54:04Speaker 12: wife if you didn't cheat with her.
- 54:06Speaker 7: It's about the stupidest thing ever, I mean. And then
- 54:10Speaker 7: you cheated with her for two years. She scared you
- 54:14Speaker 7: for two years. Okay, that's just dumb.
- 54:18Speaker 12: You know you should have told your wife about the
- 54:21Speaker 12: threats when they started, and then call the woman's bluff
- 54:24Speaker 12: and not cheat it since she ended up calling your
- 54:27Speaker 12: wife anyway, you know. I also, this is what I
- 54:31Speaker 12: don't hear in this letter. I don't hear any remorse
- 54:34Speaker 12: from you. I hear no remorse from you.
- 54:36Speaker 7: About what you did.
- 54:37Speaker 12: I mean, did you try to fix it, did you
- 54:39Speaker 12: try to apologize, did you try anything anything?
- 54:43Speaker 2: I mean?
- 54:43Speaker 12: And of course your wife wanted to hurt you, and
- 54:46Speaker 12: she knows your son is the way to get at you.
- 54:49Speaker 12: I mean, what she did is beyond wrong. What she
- 54:52Speaker 12: did is beyond wrong. There's no way your son should
- 54:56Speaker 12: have been in the middle, as you say, grown folks business.
- 54:59Speaker 7: If she an ally, she could have talked to another adult.
- 55:02Speaker 3: You know.
- 55:03Speaker 12: She tainted the boy now, made herself look like a victim,
- 55:07Speaker 12: and yeah, made you hate him, made your son hate
- 55:12Speaker 12: you and disrespect you.
- 55:13Speaker 7: I'm not blaming your wife. I'm not blaming her for anything.
- 55:17Speaker 1: This is your fault.
- 55:18Speaker 12: This is you, And of course your your son doesn't
- 55:21Speaker 12: want to see his mom hurt and going through because
- 55:23Speaker 12: of you. People get divorced every day, and parents do
- 55:28Speaker 12: get joint custody of a kid. So hopefully during the
- 55:30Speaker 12: divorce that'll work itself out. But yeah, you, sir, created
- 55:35Speaker 12: all of this because of your cheating. Now the family's broken.
- 55:39Speaker 12: But you got to get to your son some kind
- 55:41Speaker 12: of way. You gotta apologize to him. You gotta do something.
- 55:46Speaker 12: You got to talk to your son and not say
- 55:50Speaker 12: anything bad about his mom like you tried to, you know,
- 55:53Speaker 12: allude to in the letter.
- 55:54Speaker 7: None of that.
- 55:55Speaker 12: I don't agree with anything she's done either. And your
- 55:58Speaker 12: son is already damaged by what she did, you know,
- 56:01Speaker 12: letting him hear everything. So you got to get to
- 56:03Speaker 12: a counselor you got to talk to him a therapist,
- 56:06Speaker 12: the pastor Jesus someone to heal this relationship. Hopefully, like
- 56:10Speaker 12: I said, the divorce, when you get that, when you
- 56:12Speaker 12: get custody, you know, he can begin to understand that
- 56:16Speaker 12: you do love him.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Steve.
- 56:20Speaker 6: See, I don't think this is a letter at all
- 56:24Speaker 6: about reconciliation. I don't think it is at all. And
- 56:29Speaker 6: I think the man came right on when he said,
- 56:32Speaker 6: I'm gonna just jump right on it. I cheated on
- 56:35Speaker 6: my wife two years ago. He already noticed his fault.
- 56:39Speaker 4: He hit that.
- 56:42Speaker 6: I'm just saying he knows this is his fault with
- 56:45Speaker 6: a woman who constantly threatened to call my wife when
- 56:48Speaker 6: she didn't get what she wanted.
- 56:50Speaker 1: See, now that's not a threat. If you don't stay
- 56:53Speaker 1: with me, I'm gonna call your wife.
- 56:54Speaker 6: It could be anything she wanted, because he said, like
- 56:58Speaker 6: he was buying her stuff, getting her stuff, probably helping her,
- 57:02Speaker 6: you know, with the bills and all this hit. And
- 57:04Speaker 6: when she don't give something she want her way for
- 57:07Speaker 6: him to come over at a certain time, then I'm.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Threaten to call your wife.
- 57:11Speaker 6: This went on for two years, and this is the
- 57:14Speaker 6: killer part, he says, until I ran out of money
- 57:17Speaker 6: and decided to end the affair. See, this affair was
- 57:22Speaker 6: based around the money he was giving the mistress. So
- 57:27Speaker 6: when the mistress couldn't get what she want and would
- 57:30Speaker 6: threat out need this, you need to buy me that
- 57:32Speaker 6: din shit, threatened to call the wife.
- 57:34Speaker 1: He kept it going for two years.
- 57:37Speaker 6: He liked the little sideline stuff, but it was costing
- 57:40Speaker 6: him too much, so then he decided to end the affair.
- 57:44Speaker 1: What should he didn't have to do any of this?
- 57:49Speaker 6: He was cheating with the woman. He was buying her stuff.
- 57:52Speaker 6: She wanted more when he didn't have the money to
- 57:54Speaker 6: give her. Once she threatened to call him, he tried
- 57:56Speaker 6: to keep it until he ran out of money.
- 57:59Speaker 12: I what is is, we'll come back with purchue of
- 58:01Speaker 12: your response. Girl at twenty three minutes after you.
- 58:05Speaker 1: And straightened her letter and her out, come on back.
- 58:08Speaker 7: You straightened him out.
- 58:10Speaker 1: He needs send you out.
- 58:11Speaker 7: My ex wife made sure my son hates.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Me is the subject?
- 58:15Speaker 7: Will be back right after this. You're listening, she would
- 58:18Speaker 7: hard Morning show.
- 58:20Speaker 12: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 58:23Speaker 12: The subject my ex wife made my son hate me?
- 58:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 58:27Speaker 6: Man writes a letter that said he gonna jump right
- 58:30Speaker 6: on it. Cheated on his wife two years ago. He
- 58:32Speaker 6: admitted that he know he wrong with a woman that
- 58:36Speaker 6: constantly threatened to call my wife when she didn't get
- 58:38Speaker 6: what she wanted. That could be I want you to
- 58:41Speaker 6: come over now. That could be I want a new dress.
- 58:44Speaker 6: That could be I want you to fix my car.
- 58:46Speaker 6: That could be I need help with these bills. It
- 58:48Speaker 6: could be anything she wanted, but she would threaten to
- 58:51Speaker 6: call wife.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Now.
- 58:51Speaker 6: He tried to keep it up, and he said, this
- 58:54Speaker 6: went on for two years until I ran out of money.
- 58:59Speaker 6: And I said, man, now I got to end this affair.
- 59:01Speaker 6: Because that affair he was in. It might have been sexual,
- 59:05Speaker 6: but it was tied to money.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Sugar.
- 59:08Speaker 6: Daddy ran out of sugar. He just daddy, now, So
- 59:13Speaker 6: that's what happened. I was out cutting the yard when
- 59:16Speaker 6: she called my house and my wife answered.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Walked in. Wife on the speakerphone listening to my side. Chick,
- 59:22Speaker 1: he know he's wrong. My son was sitting there listening
- 59:24Speaker 1: to everything.
- 59:25Speaker 6: He was twelve years old at the time, and I
- 59:27Speaker 6: made him leave the room, but he had already heard enough.
- 59:30Speaker 1: My relationship with him was ruined after that day.
- 59:34Speaker 6: My home life was terrible too, so I moved out
- 59:37Speaker 6: after my wife served.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Me with divorce papers. So this isn't about a reconciliation.
- 59:42Speaker 1: It's over.
- 59:43Speaker 6: He caused it. His fault bound hit the problem. We
- 59:48Speaker 6: are in the process of discussion who will get custody
- 59:50Speaker 6: of our son dog. You not getting custody. You could
- 59:56Speaker 6: get joint custody. You know you might get knocked down
- 59:59Speaker 6: to visitation, but you're not getting cussed. You can stop
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: this argument right now. I haven't seen him in months.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: His mother has brainwashed him to think I'm a no
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: good cheetah and liar. She has him in the middle
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: of grown folks business, and when we talk, she's always
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: on speakerphone, so my son can hear all of the conversation.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: Sureley and I both agree she's wrong for this. I'm
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: gonna tell you at the end. Sends me text messages
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: with our son on the text thread. Oh she she wrong, man,
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: But I'm gonna tell you why she's doing this too,
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: calling your names and cussing me out. She's brought off
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: all kinds of things that happened in I marriage, and
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: my son don't need to know all that. I'm dying
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: to see him. So when I send him a text
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: asking him to have dinner with me one day soon,
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: he sent me the most disrespectful reply a child could send.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: The father.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: I want to go snatch him up real quick, but
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: I can't. This is not the boy I raise. He
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: needs his father back in his life. How can I
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: reverse all the brain washing? Please adviyes. Well, see, here's
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: a deal. She has a accomplished what she wanted to do.
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: But here's the problem. She won, but he lost, not
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: you have lost. Her son has lost because he not
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: only does she not have a husband, but now she
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: got her son thinking he ain't got a father, and
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: it don't have to be.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Because here's my opinion in this whole thing. When your husband.
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: Doesn't prove to be a great husband, it doesn't mean
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: that he's not a good father. Those are two different
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: roles completely, And when I say that, I meaning that
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: the two roles can be separated and each can be
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: performed extremely well.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You can be a great husband and never have any children.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: You can be a great father, but you don't necessarily
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: make you a great husband.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: So the man's not a great husband.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: Got that, But that don't mean he ain't a great father.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: But as a scorn woman or man, tying the two
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: together only hurts the child. The child is crushed.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Oh you whipping the fathers behind. But do you know that?
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: You know in the long run that man is still
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: a man no matter what you say about him. But
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: you are hindering your son's development into man because the
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: one person that can teach him how to be a man,
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: you've discredited him because he wasn't a good husband. See,
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: y'all just wasn't it for each other? For whatever the
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: reason was. He wrong for cheating one hundred percent one
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: hundred percent. But because he's not a good husband, don't
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: make him not a good father. So now you've brainwashed
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: the child and the hating his own father, and you win.
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: But guess what your child loses. And y'all got to
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: stop that.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: This is knowledge of it. If you are out there,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you have to stop that. If you are in the.
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: Process of using your child as a pond and your
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: divorce and your relationship, you have to stop that.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I am speaking from experience. You have to stop that.
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: It's not for you to do this to this boy,
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: because I have news for you. One day, this boy's
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: gonna grow up and he gonna know the truth. And
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: as this boy grows up, this boy's gonna make mistakes
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: of his own and he's gonna start to understand that
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: mistakes happen in life. But because he wasn't a great
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: husband to you don't mean that he wasn't a great
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: father to this boy. And you're doing nothing but damaging
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: the boy. And they tell you all the time. Listen,
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: I don't let my children hear me say nothing about
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: their mother's disparage.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Nothing. Oh I could, but I don't now them.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: On the other hand, Oh, they ain't done me, done
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: me like like like a day book or guess what
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: at the end, the truth comes out hanging that dog.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I support the man in this letter.
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: I support the child.
- 1:04:14Speaker 12: All right, well wow, okay, Well we'll continue this conversation
- 1:04:19Speaker 12: when we come back. My ex wife made sure my
- 1:04:21Speaker 12: son hates me. Steve and I agree on that that
- 1:04:23Speaker 12: that is definitely wrong and we have some personal experiences
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: to talk about when we come back.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: We all do right after this.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: You're listening, Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:04:35Speaker 12: All right, Steve, this this Strawberry letter was was interesting.
- 1:04:39Speaker 12: My ex wife made sure my son hates me, you know,
- 1:04:44Speaker 12: I mean, we can relate to it.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: We can relate to it. We've both been divorced on
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: the show. You know, full disclosure, my first marriage.
- 1:04:54Speaker 12: Didn't go well, didn't end well, but we had a
- 1:04:56Speaker 12: beautiful child out of that relationship. And you know, I'm
- 1:05:00Speaker 12: not ashamed to admit that I was very bitter. I
- 1:05:04Speaker 12: was very, very bitter when we broke up.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:05:08Speaker 12: You know, you get to a dark place sometimes you're angry,
- 1:05:10Speaker 12: you're bitter, and you know, I.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Was on the radio.
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: I was on the radio in LA.
- 1:05:16Speaker 12: A lot of people who listened during that time, probably
- 1:05:19Speaker 12: well hopefully they don't remember.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: It was so long ago. But yeah, I used to
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: bad man.
- 1:05:24Speaker 12: I used to really bad mouth my ex husband on
- 1:05:28Speaker 12: the air constantly because you know, something would happen that
- 1:05:32Speaker 12: it would remind me or you know, trigger me or
- 1:05:35Speaker 12: something like that, and I just go in, you know,
- 1:05:37Speaker 12: or say one thing, you call him a deadbeat dad
- 1:05:40Speaker 12: or whatever whatever, and uh, just just not a good look,
- 1:05:44Speaker 12: you know when you look back from now.
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: Oh, it was horrible.
- 1:05:50Speaker 12: I mean I had to stop myself. You know, you grow,
- 1:05:52Speaker 12: you change, people change, they do.
- 1:05:55Speaker 16: Uh.
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: I had to forgive him that.
- 1:05:57Speaker 12: It started with that forgiveness be because forgiveness is not
- 1:06:01Speaker 12: for the other person.
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: We talk about that a lot on this show. Forgiveness,
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: it's for you.
- 1:06:05Speaker 12: Once I forgave him, then I could start to heal
- 1:06:09Speaker 12: and I stopped and I apologized on the air. I
- 1:06:11Speaker 12: apologized to him for saying that because we had a child,
- 1:06:14Speaker 12: I never wanted her to grow up. And you know
- 1:06:16Speaker 12: have people saying, well, your mom used to do this
- 1:06:18Speaker 12: talk about your I never wanted that, so you know.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Mine ain't feel that way.
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: She wouldn't do that. You're too much of a gentleman
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: to do that.
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: Well, I would never talk about my sons and daughters
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: mothers in a disparaging way publicly.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: I would never do that.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: I have my comments awhile in my own personal life
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: because I'm human, but never on the air.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Because I taught my sons.
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: I raised my sons to honor their mothers like I
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: was raised to honor mind and to defeending her at
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: all costs. I can't they can't see me talking about it.
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: And then I asked him not to honor them.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: But you know, my my ex.
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: Yeah, but my ex went on a complete and total
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: smear campaign out of out of her anger and scoring
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: for years.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I understand, for years.
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: I mean just attack, attack, attack, attack. You're so yeah,
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: and you know I thank god I had Marjorie.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: You know, a strong woman who knew me. You can
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: say no.
- 1:07:32Speaker 12: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:07:35Speaker 12: Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, fella's time for comedy. Runette, Jacob,
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: quickly set this up again.
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: Please, you test us every week, you test our comedy ability.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: Give us five subjects, put them on the wheel, spend
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: the wheel, which stop?
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: We can do it?
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: What you got?
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Go?
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: Yeah, here's the tacics. I'umber one people I hate.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: On my job. Many can do that.
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: Number two, your mama keeps hitting on me.
- 1:08:10Speaker 13: Like that.
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: Number three I thought they was dead already. Number four
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: Jehovah's witness. Number five people would a clean house?
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Put them on the wheel. Spin the wheel with your
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: people I hate on my job.
- 1:08:43Speaker 10: Let me.
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: You know the people on your job who bring that
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: food item that don't nobody want any damn way. Oh yeah,
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: but they all booze you about it. First of all,
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: don't nobody like why they bring it to work and
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: didn't make an announcement. Hey I got a slice of
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: punkin pie and then don't touch it. You ain't got
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: nothing to worry about it. Why what else you got, Junior?
- 1:09:11Speaker 11: I'll tell you what I was like. I don't like
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: people I work with that act like they're healthier than you.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: That's an issue for me.
- 1:09:19Speaker 11: You know, I'm saying, he's saying he's gonna be acting like.
- 1:09:21Speaker 14: He's more healthy than me. But he got eight told.
- 1:09:26Speaker 14: I want you to know he ain't told it. I
- 1:09:29Speaker 14: ain't talking about nobody, but just.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: You got I can't stand the dude that that that
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: that rad on you when you clock out an you
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: were here.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: You thought you had it cool with him until you
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: get halfway home. Yeah, they looking for you.
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: How do they know I'm going.
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: I don't like people to send you video, email you
- 1:10:05Speaker 6: videos for their life.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I just got even your real.
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: The topic is people I hate on my job.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: You know what the people that I hate on my job,
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: And not only are they sicker than you, but they
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: have functions to raise money about how damn sick they are.
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: We don't have nothing for diabetes. We running, We ain't
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: making speeches. We ain't out there doing that.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: We don't have a month or nothing. Therefore with you
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: having a day or a month or a marathon, to me,
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: just to me, you are sicker than me.
- 1:10:57Speaker 11: You know what I like about my job.

- 1:15:16Speaker 6: And I'm sitting up here with my leg up on
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: the desk right now thinking if you wouldn't now, I'll

- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but I got to blow torch the bottom of

- 1:16:19Speaker 12: you rather save the world but die as a hero

- 1:16:27Speaker 4: Man blank this world? What is you talking about? I'm
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: telling to save it and then die? Why would I
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: do that?
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: I'd rather just be here and see where the hell
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: gonna happen me, y'all. I ain't never asked be no heat,
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: no damn way. I just want to be the survival.
- 1:16:51Speaker 7: Die.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: Last one.
- 1:16:54Speaker 7: Would you rather scream at each other? Or would you
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: rather give each other the silent treatment? Give each other
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: worch the silent treatment?
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Oh really, I take the side of the treatment. I
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: take all that, holly yeah, because I want you to
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: be quiet anyday I work.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: All right, we're coming up at forty nine.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: The game when it's home.
- 1:17:19Speaker 12: Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour, it's
- 1:17:23Speaker 12: our last break of the day, and we'll close out
- 1:17:25Speaker 12: the show with Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:17:28Speaker 7: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, here
- 1:17:32Speaker 7: we are last break of the day. Time for you
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: to leave us with some closing remarks.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I try to find different ways to
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: encourage people because life is really challenging, man, and it's
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: becoming even more so for all of us because of
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: social media. Man, it's like craziness. It's it's you can
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: become a part of the the meal, so to speak.
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: You can just become a part of the meal. And
- 1:18:05Speaker 6: you don't even have to be famous, you really really don't.
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: It can just be in your circle of friends that
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: you start getting hated on or something like that. But
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: it's really difficult out here. So I really try to
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: give people bits and pieces of things that happened to
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: me as I progress through my life, and I maintain
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: and I grow all the while. In spite of in
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: spite of now, two things help me. First of all,
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: my relationship with God is probably better than it's ever
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: been because I've learned some really really useful tools over
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: the past year to.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Really really help me.
- 1:18:49Speaker 6: Now, little did I know that God was presenting these
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: tools to me so so I would have them and
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: be equipped for the fight that he knew was coming
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: my way. Man, that's a cool, cool thing to know
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: that God taught me some things before last year that
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: was going to help me with what he knew was
- 1:19:14Speaker 6: coming my way this year. So the first thing I
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: have to attribute and give credit to my relationship with
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: God has been the real root of my ability to
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: keep moving forward in the face of all circumstances, whether
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: they seemed appeared to be what they were or not.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: And then secondly, I have learned how to shield myself.
- 1:19:42Speaker 6: It's not that I know how to shield myself, but
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: I've learned how to put a protective coding over my
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: mind to help me deal with negativity because it's just
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: so much of it out there.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: And if you get if you really listen to what
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: everybody's saying, you know you have a lot more people
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: that love you and hate.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: You know that the problem with hate.
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: Is it's so dog gonna loud, and love is just
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: so somebody call and say, hey, man, don't worry about
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: none of that.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: I got you back.
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: I love you, man, Thank you for all you do
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: your real friends know the truth? It's just people who
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: don't they have something to say. So, your relationship with
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: God and this practice that I've learned of how now
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: how to cope my mind from negativity have been two
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: of the most powerful things that I've developed over the
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: past couple.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Of years and last year and a few months ago.
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: That's really really helping me. And So what I wanted
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: to kind of share in light of all of that
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: in that same vein as what I want you to
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: stop doing. If you're doing this, stop giving people permission
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: to have an opinion about you. Man, Stop giving people
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: permission to have an opinion about you when, first of all,
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: they don't even know you. Number two, a lot of
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: people with an opinion about you they've never met you.
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: And here's the most important reason they don't know you.
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: They haven't met you.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: And you want to know the real reason you shouldn't care,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: because they don't care. They don't care anything about you
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: one way other than the other.
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: They just riding through the system pushing buttons, and you
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: happen to be the button that they pushing today.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Do not give people permission.
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: To have an opinion about you, and you listen to it.
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: I stop doing that. I stop giving people my permission
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: have an opinion about me you don't have. I'm not
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: giving you permission. Now you can go have one, but
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: it's without my permission, So therefore you.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Can't affect me. Listen to me.
- 1:22:12Speaker 6: People, if you don't give them the permission to affect you,
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: they can't affect you. You can keep pushing on and
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: upward to your goals. Don't give them permission to turn
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: you back. Don't give them permission to stop you. Don't
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: give a person permission to ride your back. Martin Luther
- 1:22:31Speaker 6: King said, a.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Man can't ride your back unless you bend over. Stand up,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: stand up to some of this mess. I'm not saying
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: go down there and do something about it.
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: I'm just saying, stand up, hold your head up, square
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: your shoulders, pinch your shoulder blades, get your chests out,
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: hold your cheain up, go on with your bad self.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Quit worrying about what they saying. Them people don't even
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: know you.
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: Don't give these people permission to make you feel less
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: than who you really are. Your heavenly father made you
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: you a child of God. These people didn't make you.
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: Do not give them permission. Don't give them permission to
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: be a determining factor in your life. They don't have
- 1:23:26Speaker 6: your permission to do that. They don't have the ability
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: to do that. Don't give them permission.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: To hate you.
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: Turn your back, ride your back, make you feel less,
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: be a determining factor in your life. You know why
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: because they don't know you, they ain't never met you,
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: and they don't care about you. You should not care
- 1:23:47Speaker 6: about what they think. Those are my remarks. Have a
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: good weekend.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Yes profound.
