- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in it to me. Good stether for
- 0:27Speaker 1: st Please, I don't join join me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn you are you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You haven't got to turn them out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water got Come Come on your tha
- 2:01Speaker 1: h huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only h Steve harf Man got a radio show, Yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I do. Man. God been so good to me over
- 2:17Speaker 1: the years, in spite of all the mistakes I've made,
- 2:22Speaker 1: in spite of all the dirt I've done to myself.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I'm talking about when in no one I was wrong,
- 2:30Speaker 1: His grace and mercy has forgiven me for all of
- 2:34Speaker 1: my sins. God can forgive you of all of your sins,
- 2:40Speaker 1: everything you've done, God can forgive you. He can wipe
- 2:45Speaker 1: your slate clean. Now. Might you might have some you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: things you got to deal with because of some of
- 2:51Speaker 1: your actions. Understand that. But you can wipe your slates.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You can wipe your slate clean with God and start again.
- 2:59Speaker 1: You can repent. God has mercy and grace. You could
- 3:02Speaker 1: be forgiven by God. Now people answer another story. Some
- 3:06Speaker 1: people may never forgive you, for you've heard them all,
- 3:09Speaker 1: or maybe they're accusing you of doing something else. But
- 3:12Speaker 1: you know they may never forgive you. But God, God
- 3:16Speaker 1: is in the redemption business man. God will forgive you
- 3:20Speaker 1: for every sin you've ever committed. But you gotta want
- 3:24Speaker 1: forgiveness now. And then you got to come correct because
- 3:27Speaker 1: what you can't do is you can't shoot him the crap.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Now you can say that conversation with him. You know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: whatever you told your lawyer, whatever, whatever you told the victims,
- 3:39Speaker 1: whatever you told, whatever the story is you got going
- 3:42Speaker 1: if it ain't the truth, you could say that with God,
- 3:45Speaker 1: because please know, he know, and he know your heart.
- 3:49Speaker 1: He know if you're trying to manipulate somebody just for
- 3:52Speaker 1: the system, if you're trying to say this just so
- 3:54Speaker 1: you can get out, you know all of that. So
- 3:56Speaker 1: if you're planning on shucking him and jiving him, save
- 3:59Speaker 1: your breath before you wind up digging yourself in a
- 4:02Speaker 1: deeper hole. Just let me give you that piece of advice.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Because he ain't nothing to play with. He's too great
- 4:08Speaker 1: to be played with. And so with that in mind,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I want to share some positive stuff with you. This
- 4:13Speaker 1: smarting man. I want to say this now. I want
- 4:16Speaker 1: to remind you not to let your circumstance and your
- 4:19Speaker 1: situations dictate your future or your results. I'm gonna say
- 4:26Speaker 1: this again. This is important information. Man. Don't let your
- 4:30Speaker 1: circumstance and situations dictate your future or your results. Do
- 4:37Speaker 1: you know that in order to get a different future
- 4:41Speaker 1: or some different results, you control that entire situation. It
- 4:46Speaker 1: is you. It is your thoughts that control the entire situation.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It is how you look at the situation that will
- 4:54Speaker 1: determine how the situation is for you. See, the same
- 4:58Speaker 1: situation can be totally different for two different people, because
- 5:02Speaker 1: you can say you look at the examples of history,
- 5:04Speaker 1: just just look look in your neighborhood. How can There
- 5:08Speaker 1: was a book that a guy wrote one time who
- 5:10Speaker 1: had the name. He had a name, and he did
- 5:13Speaker 1: some research and he found a guy that grew up
- 5:15Speaker 1: at the same age in the same neighborhood as him,
- 5:19Speaker 1: with the exact same name. He went on to become
- 5:23Speaker 1: a corporate CEO. The other man was an inmate and
- 5:30Speaker 1: they had the same name, grew up in the same neighborhood.
- 5:35Speaker 1: They were both brothers, you know not, I'm just saying
- 5:38Speaker 1: brothers men, and they grew and they went to them.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Because how can two different two people the same situation
- 5:46Speaker 1: and the results turn out so different. It is because
- 5:48Speaker 1: of the thought process of one was completely different from
- 5:52Speaker 1: the thought process of the other. You control it. You
- 5:55Speaker 1: don't have to let your circumstances and your situations dictate
- 5:59Speaker 1: your future. Are your results. Here's the way it works.
- 6:03Speaker 1: This is so you can understand this. Your mind. It's
- 6:07Speaker 1: the controlling factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the
- 6:12Speaker 1: controlling factor of your outcome. The Bible says a man
- 6:17Speaker 1: is as he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture, hell,
- 6:21Speaker 1: because this one is the real deal. This is the
- 6:25Speaker 1: basis of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's
- 6:30Speaker 1: already written in the Bible. The Bible has all the
- 6:33Speaker 1: information you need. But in case you need a little
- 6:35Speaker 1: bit of clarity in some simple modern day language, then
- 6:38Speaker 1: they have self improvement books. They are all based on
- 6:41Speaker 1: Biblical scripture. A man is as he thinketh. That's why
- 6:46Speaker 1: Norman Vincent Peale wrote the book The power of positive thinking.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That's why a book came out called The Magic of
- 6:53Speaker 1: Thinking Big. That's why a book came out called Think
- 6:56Speaker 1: and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hell that it all of you.
- 7:00Speaker 1: All these titles that I've read that have mattered in
- 7:03Speaker 1: my life the most, These three major books that I've read,
- 7:06Speaker 1: they all say one thing. Think thinking thoughts, because that's
- 7:10Speaker 1: what controls the outcome. Your brain works one of two ways.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It works positive or negative. It works good, which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: under the column of positive, or to work evil, which
- 7:28Speaker 1: is under the column of negative. It will have faith,
- 7:32Speaker 1: which is under the column of positive, or you will
- 7:35Speaker 1: operate in fear, which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is the only way your mind works. Your mind
- 7:42Speaker 1: is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those workers are
- 7:48Speaker 1: controlled by two formings, forming positive and forming negative. But
- 7:53Speaker 1: guess what the CEO of the company, the head, man,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 8:02Speaker 1: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:13Speaker 1: true that I've been thinking about. I'm gonna take another
- 8:16Speaker 1: step forward in the development and the changing of my
- 8:19Speaker 1: life in a positive, good direction. If you come to
- 8:23Speaker 1: work and say that every day, as the CEO the boss,
- 8:27Speaker 1: the formans can only obey you, so that what you
- 8:30Speaker 1: just said was a series of positive statements, then forming
- 8:34Speaker 1: positive steps to the forefront. He said, I got your
- 8:37Speaker 1: boss right away. He turns around, He blows the whistle.
- 8:42Speaker 1: He alerts all the workers in the factory today as
- 8:45Speaker 1: a good day. Today, we will take steps towards our future.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Today we are putting ourselves on track to get a
- 8:51Speaker 1: little bit closer to making our dreams come true. Today
- 8:55Speaker 1: we will be assembling all the things we need to
- 8:58Speaker 1: make our dreams come true and our life better in
- 9:01Speaker 1: the right direction. Everybody break. The workers in the factory
- 9:05Speaker 1: turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify the orders given
- 9:11Speaker 1: by the boss, which is you. You are the CEO
- 9:15Speaker 1: of your corporation. If you don't own nothing else, you
- 9:19Speaker 1: own everything that's going on between your two ears. You
- 9:23Speaker 1: are the CEO of that corporation. If that corporation is
- 9:26Speaker 1: a good one, it's because you set it up that way.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If your corporation is a bad one, it's because you
- 9:32Speaker 1: set it up that day. If you trying, if you
- 9:35Speaker 1: pushing towards your dreams and you see the possibility of
- 9:38Speaker 1: things happening in your life is because you, as the CEO,
- 9:41Speaker 1: set it up that way. If you ain't got nothing popping,
- 9:44Speaker 1: if you just want to be a criminal taking stuff
- 9:46Speaker 1: from people, throwing your life out the window, you're gonna
- 9:48Speaker 1: be an inmate. You're gonna be sitting there there, and
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're gonna be mad at everybody. You got nobody be
- 9:52Speaker 1: mad at. But shoot, you understand what I'm telling you
- 9:55Speaker 1: this morning you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, is here another
- 10:04Speaker 1: great day. Thank you Heavenly father. I show appreciate it. Man.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Started my day off with gratitude. I'm spreading it. If
- 10:10Speaker 1: you get your gratitude together, it affects your attitude. If
- 10:12Speaker 1: your attitude gets affected, this direct correlation to your altitude.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It's about them tudes, man, Get them off, get them started.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It's gonna be a great day to day. I lived
- 10:22Speaker 1: my life with the expectation. I had a little moment
- 10:24Speaker 1: yesterday while I felt a little some kind of way.
- 10:27Speaker 1: You know how you just being human and you know
- 10:30Speaker 1: the principles of success, but somehow you just it's just
- 10:33Speaker 1: one of them days, and I was feeling a little
- 10:36Speaker 1: you know, it's a little off. I wasn't I was
- 10:39Speaker 1: looking at what was wrong, and I was so focused
- 10:42Speaker 1: on what was wrong that I had stopped momentarily looking
- 10:46Speaker 1: at my life and what was right. But I got
- 10:48Speaker 1: it back on track. But I was in this little
- 10:50Speaker 1: funk about about ninety minutes, and I remembered something that
- 10:54Speaker 1: I read somewhere like whenever you can't explain your emotion,
- 10:58Speaker 1: if you're feeling like a little foggy, a little dark,
- 11:02Speaker 1: or you feel like blah, all you have to do
- 11:05Speaker 1: is retrace the conversations you've had with yourself the fifteen
- 11:10Speaker 1: minutes prior. Go back to fifteen minutes prior. Because your emotions,
- 11:18Speaker 1: the what you feel is actually a barometer of what
- 11:22Speaker 1: you've been thinking. It's like your internal thermostat. You are
- 11:27Speaker 1: the temperature gauge in your own life. So what you
- 11:31Speaker 1: have to do is when you feel these little moments
- 11:33Speaker 1: of darkness and gloom and sadness and depression, all you
- 11:37Speaker 1: gotta do is track the last fifteen minutes. As long
- 11:41Speaker 1: as you can track those last fifteen minutes of thoughts,
- 11:44Speaker 1: you can now explain your situation. And when I started
- 11:47Speaker 1: tracking that I was just on the negative plane, and
- 11:50Speaker 1: so I went right back and put myself on the
- 11:53Speaker 1: positive plane, and I was able to self correct myself.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Now didn't make the problem go away, no, but the
- 11:58Speaker 1: focus wasn't on the problem them anymore. The focus was
- 12:02Speaker 1: on the God that has given me every solution I've
- 12:05Speaker 1: ever had prior to this. That right there changes everything.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I have no problem that's bigger than my God. Come on, boy,
- 12:16Speaker 1: once you wake up to that realization, you can get
- 12:19Speaker 1: on with it. That's how I'm opening to show this morning, Junior.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I love to say what's wrong with you today? But
- 12:24Speaker 1: all you're gonna ask me to do is explain it.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I mean, really, you shouldn't just explained that because I
- 12:30Speaker 1: didn't even think about that. I got that same problem, Bro,
- 12:33Speaker 1: everybody has that problem. It's not new to mankind to
- 12:37Speaker 1: be human, you know, it's nothing nothing new about it.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And we all have those moments where we just find
- 12:43Speaker 1: ourselves in a little funk, a little bit of gloom.
- 12:46Speaker 1: But if you retrust the previous fifteen minutes of thought,
- 12:50Speaker 1: there it is because all your emotions are is a
- 12:52Speaker 1: barometer of what you've been thinking. So if you change
- 12:55Speaker 1: what you think. If you change your attitude, it affects
- 12:59Speaker 1: your altitude. So I put my attitude on a positive plane,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, I felt better. So instead
- 13:06Speaker 1: of looking at what I didn't have and what was
- 13:08Speaker 1: going wrong, I shifted my thinking and I started focusing
- 13:13Speaker 1: on what was going right in my life. And I
- 13:16Speaker 1: started thinking him for the blessings that I had, and
- 13:19Speaker 1: all of a sudden, what I didn't have seemed so
- 13:22Speaker 1: small in comparison to what I had. Oh man, you
- 13:28Speaker 1: asked and answered your own question. Better let him use
- 13:32Speaker 1: you the whole word again. I needed that myself. Yeah
- 13:38Speaker 1: you did. Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour.
- 13:41Speaker 1: It's the nephew, and run that frank back right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You're listening, all right? It is time now for the
- 13:49Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back. What you got for us, naff,
- 13:53Speaker 1: We're gonna run it back, Shirley. Uh, your baby got
- 13:57Speaker 1: my baby's name. Your baby got my baby's name. That's
- 14:01Speaker 1: it right there, all right, cat dog, if you would,
- 14:04Speaker 1: your baby got my baby's name. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 14:10Speaker 1: to reach au Patricia, Patricia speaking, Who is it? How
- 14:15Speaker 1: you're doing? Listen? Um, my name is Floyd. Floyd, I
- 14:18Speaker 1: want to give you a call. Your your daughter, she
- 14:20Speaker 1: a teens middle school. Right, that's your name again, Floyd. Okay,
- 14:25Speaker 1: what can I just like you? Well, like I said,
- 14:27Speaker 1: your your your daughter, she goes she do go to
- 14:29Speaker 1: middle school, right yeah, okay, Now her name, her name
- 14:32Speaker 1: is Dereka. Okay. Well, ain't something wrong? It's something no, no, no,
- 14:39Speaker 1: not nothing wrong. I mean I don't mean to alarm
- 14:40Speaker 1: you're nothing like that. But let me see what. Well,
- 14:45Speaker 1: here's here's the situation. My daughter actually goes to middle
- 14:49Speaker 1: school along along with with your daughter. Okay, And and
- 14:54Speaker 1: it's it's a bit of a problem that that that
- 14:56Speaker 1: has arisen that me and my wife just found out about. Okay,
- 14:59Speaker 1: what they have some issues, Derek and your baby in
- 15:01Speaker 1: in some kind of like trouble or something. No, no, no, no, no,
- 15:06Speaker 1: nothing like that with nobody at that school. She don't
- 15:10Speaker 1: mess with nobody. She owned the honor roll and everything.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I don't have no problems out of Dereka, right like, no, okay,
- 15:16Speaker 1: ill let me know. Let me tell you, miss miss
- 15:20Speaker 1: Patricia was the problem. And see my daughter name is Dereka. Okay.
- 15:26Speaker 1: So and and it just blew me and my wife
- 15:29Speaker 1: away that it was another Dereca that went to school. Okay,
- 15:33Speaker 1: all right, I don't know too many Derecas. That's a
- 15:35Speaker 1: unique name. That's cute, okay, right right, Well here's the
- 15:40Speaker 1: problem me and my wife Actually, you know, when it
- 15:42Speaker 1: was time to name my child, we thought we was
- 15:44Speaker 1: really picking a name that nobody would ever take out
- 15:48Speaker 1: for their daughter. And to have another Dereca in the
- 15:51Speaker 1: school that blew us away. And I guess the real
- 15:54Speaker 1: reason why I'm trying to call you, miss Patricia. See
- 15:56Speaker 1: if if if there's something maybe we can work out,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know, maybe uh like your Dereka does middle name
- 16:05Speaker 1: or nickname she can be called by interposed to both
- 16:09Speaker 1: of them being Dereca. You really want I try to
- 16:12Speaker 1: be the only one with this name? Okay, wait wait, wait, wait,
- 16:15Speaker 1: now you calling me and you asking me to change
- 16:18Speaker 1: my baby's name. Well, I mean you you ain't really
- 16:21Speaker 1: gotta legally change, I mean, but just start calling us
- 16:23Speaker 1: something else, you know. No, No, wait a minute, say
- 16:26Speaker 1: what you naming police or something? Do you know how
- 16:29Speaker 1: many and and Lewis's and Patricia's out there? What if
- 16:33Speaker 1: I asked everybody in the United states to change their
- 16:36Speaker 1: name from Patricia. You know how crazy that is. And
- 16:38Speaker 1: I understand that you must be all drugs. Not what
- 16:41Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is you know this, this is
- 16:44Speaker 1: something that we really have. Our baby girl was this
- 16:46Speaker 1: name and we didn't want nobody else to have this.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So does your Dereca have a middle name she can use? No,
- 16:52Speaker 1: we're gonna call her Dereka like we've been calling your name,
- 16:55Speaker 1: your baby d let's call your baby d d in
- 16:58Speaker 1: you change y'all, y'all change y'all baby name at the school.
- 17:00Speaker 1: I'm not calling I'm not calling Anna. Leave. I don't
- 17:03Speaker 1: give me what you call it, but I'm not changing
- 17:05Speaker 1: my baby name. Hey, listen, Okay, Look, I'm trying to
- 17:08Speaker 1: call you and handle us like adults, you know, but
- 17:11Speaker 1: you've seen to say you're gonna push my fund to
- 17:12Speaker 1: take me to another level. Honestly, you ain't calling me
- 17:15Speaker 1: trying to handle us. He does ask me to change
- 17:17Speaker 1: my baby name, call my baby something else at the
- 17:20Speaker 1: school because y'all want your baby name to be Derek
- 17:22Speaker 1: and the only Derek in the school. Hey, you know
- 17:24Speaker 1: many other kids at the damn school got the same name.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I understand that, but for my baby girl, it ain't
- 17:30Speaker 1: schools to be like that. Well, I'm sorry, I'm so
- 17:33Speaker 1: up a good baby girl and your wife, but you
- 17:36Speaker 1: know I'm not changing my baby damn name. Y'all call y'all,
- 17:39Speaker 1: baby dude. Know what I'm trying to do is get
- 17:42Speaker 1: it rectified that we can call you give my phone number.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I know that school ain't give you my number. I
- 17:48Speaker 1: got your numb don't worry about how I got it.
- 17:50Speaker 1: The problem is. But what we're talking about right now
- 17:53Speaker 1: is can we what can we start calling your child?
- 17:55Speaker 1: I don't give it. I know that school ain't called
- 17:58Speaker 1: your day my damn number. Listen, man, all I'm trying
- 18:01Speaker 1: to do is figure out what can we start calling
- 18:03Speaker 1: your daughter Dona cut less she's been doing. Call you
- 18:07Speaker 1: and your wife. Don't need to go to the statistics
- 18:10Speaker 1: office and get tar baby name. I kind you have
- 18:12Speaker 1: to stumm out to kind of name beha, but my
- 18:15Speaker 1: day keep the same day name. Let me explain something
- 18:18Speaker 1: of you. I've been trying to be calm with you, marshall,
- 18:21Speaker 1: but if you want to find something else to call on,
- 18:23Speaker 1: and I'm gonna go, I'm gonna get all the dumb number.
- 18:26Speaker 1: How do you get now? Don't worry about all. I
- 18:28Speaker 1: got the number. Listen to what I'm trying to tell you.
- 18:31Speaker 1: If you don't find another name, I'm gonna start getting
- 18:34Speaker 1: the kids to call your daughter something else. You'll get
- 18:36Speaker 1: them to call my Babby Studdings. I try to. I'm
- 18:39Speaker 1: with an everybody who called my babby. Stop nesting. You're
- 18:42Speaker 1: trying to change your baby names. I want my baby
- 18:45Speaker 1: name to be Dereka John get him. It's truly my
- 18:51Speaker 1: princess is supposed to be the only one named Dereka.

- 20:58Speaker 1: in the building right after this you're listening, coming up
- 21:04Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, and entertainment news Cardi
- 21:07Speaker 1: b asked a fan for little respect put some respect
- 21:10Speaker 1: on her name after she earned a million dollars for
- 21:14Speaker 1: a less than an hour show. We'll talk about it. Also,
- 21:16Speaker 1: will Be Goldberg is making me sure no biopics will
- 21:21Speaker 1: be made about her when she's gone okay, and then
- 21:25Speaker 1: Takeoff's parents are trying to settle his twenty six million
- 21:28Speaker 1: dollars state. We'll talk about all of these stories at
- 21:31Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Yeah, but right now it
- 21:35Speaker 1: is time for ask the CLO. This one's from Leah
- 21:40Speaker 1: and Hampton. Leah writes, I'm twenty six years old and
- 21:43Speaker 1: I've been going out with the student that's four years
- 21:46Speaker 1: younger than me. We met when I was on my
- 21:48Speaker 1: way to work on campus. He assumed I was going
- 21:51Speaker 1: to class, but I've never been enrolled in classes. He
- 21:54Speaker 1: does not even know my real age. Should I tell
- 21:57Speaker 1: him the truth or is it really no big deal?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Obviously it's an issue for you. Yeah, because it ain't
- 22:03Speaker 1: an issue for him. But if you feel compelled to
- 22:07Speaker 1: tell him, I mean, why not. I ain't gonna shoot you.
- 22:09Speaker 1: He ain't gonna stop wanting to see. I promise you
- 22:12Speaker 1: that you four years older, he finned be it just
- 22:17Speaker 1: fit to be a notch in his belt. You know.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I ain't saying for y'all to go and form a
- 22:22Speaker 1: full blown relationship. But you obviously like the little dude.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Dude like you, so I don't think it's gonna change nothing.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Ain't be four years ain't like you said, you foughty
- 22:31Speaker 1: years older than him? Folk. But he assumes she's a
- 22:34Speaker 1: student as well. Well you know, I mean, did you
- 22:38Speaker 1: do you find that necessary to lie about that too?
- 22:41Speaker 1: What's up? Like? What is you lying about you being
- 22:44Speaker 1: a student? She just never told him. I ain't what
- 22:54Speaker 1: that is. That's a lie withholding intent? Uh live omission? Yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 1: all right, So she wants to know should she tell
- 23:07Speaker 1: him the truth or is it really no big deal?
- 23:09Speaker 1: What difference if it ain't no big deal? Tell him
- 23:11Speaker 1: the truth. The reason I lie, it's because it is
- 23:14Speaker 1: a big deal. That's why necessary. Hell yeah, it's unnecessary,
- 23:20Speaker 1: be just necessary to lie here had come. But she's
- 23:25Speaker 1: twenty six, Steve, she hasn't gotten it down yet. She
- 23:29Speaker 1: has lied yet it down? Uh she hasn't at twenty six. Yeah, master,
- 23:39Speaker 1: not you girl? You her? I was. I was in
- 23:45Speaker 1: the PhD program at twenty six. Already got it him
- 23:50Speaker 1: be in it all right. Moving on to a dashing
- 23:58Speaker 1: in Miami. Dashing says my husband and I. Yeah Dash,
- 24:02Speaker 1: it's a cute name. My husband and I started out
- 24:05Speaker 1: with My husband and I started out with me. Listen
- 24:11Speaker 1: to this. This is interesting. My husband and I started
- 24:13Speaker 1: out with me as a side chick while he was married.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I know my husband is a cheater, and I've overlooked
- 24:19Speaker 1: the signs that he might have a new side piece.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Do I bring it up to him or accept it
- 24:24Speaker 1: because I used to be a cheater? Wait a minute,
- 24:28Speaker 1: that doesn't make any sense. Okay, you've accepted it, So
- 24:33Speaker 1: now you're assuming that he has another side chicky. She's
- 24:40Speaker 1: overlooked the signs. Well, you can't if you if the
- 24:44Speaker 1: signs is there, that's what he's doing. Yep. Now what
- 24:48Speaker 1: you're saying is do I accept this as get back
- 24:52Speaker 1: payment because I was the side chick. I'm just gonna
- 24:55Speaker 1: tell you right now. Very very rarely do they marry
- 25:01Speaker 1: do they get promotions where few promotions are made, very few.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So what you're saying, marry their side check. Yeah, see,
- 25:16Speaker 1: because what happens is normally the sad side chick is
- 25:19Speaker 1: what breaks up though marriage. But the right once the
- 25:23Speaker 1: marriage is broken up, causing you he kind of he
- 25:25Speaker 1: looking at you funky right there anyway, because this comes
- 25:29Speaker 1: this a loss of house, car payment, child spoy you know,
- 25:33Speaker 1: all is here, so it usually doesn't register in the
- 25:37Speaker 1: promotion department. It usually doesn't. You having graduated from side
- 25:42Speaker 1: chick to wife, that's a miracle and you should accept
- 25:46Speaker 1: the blessing. But if you see the signs, then he
- 25:49Speaker 1: got another one. And if you're trying to say, because
- 25:52Speaker 1: I did it to this other woman, I should accept
- 25:54Speaker 1: the fact that it's being done to me, then you
- 25:57Speaker 1: will never ever have a great life because you're just
- 26:01Speaker 1: accepting of wrong being done wrong and you just wouldn't
- 26:04Speaker 1: let it go. So I can't help you with that system.
- 26:07Speaker 1: So that's a good one. Now, she doesn't have to
- 26:11Speaker 1: accept it, is what you're saying. Okay, Crystal, and Ferguson said,
- 26:14Speaker 1: I got to work this morning and There was a
- 26:16Speaker 1: note on my desk that said dog breath. My co
- 26:22Speaker 1: workers around me they know. I know that. My co
- 26:25Speaker 1: workers around me said they know who did it, but
- 26:27Speaker 1: they're not snitches. Is this just petty nonsense or is
- 26:31Speaker 1: it bullying? Should I get my manager involved? No? You
- 26:35Speaker 1: need you need to dress this dog gass breath you got.
- 26:38Speaker 1: It's what you need to do, this all this, all this,
- 26:42Speaker 1: get your manager involved and go down to HR. You
- 26:46Speaker 1: need to take your ass down to that drug stoke.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's what you need to do. You need to go
- 26:53Speaker 1: and see what it is that's up in them teeth.
- 26:57Speaker 1: You got some starred floss and trapp bacteria is trapped older. Damn,
- 27:03Speaker 1: who did it? Damn? They ain't snitches or none of that.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Ain't none of them say ignore it. Ain't nobody say, girl,
- 27:12Speaker 1: you don't pay no attention to that. You know who
- 27:15Speaker 1: did it, but we ain't snitches. Right, So obviously they
- 27:20Speaker 1: all got in and they Okay, who's gonna do it?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Who go Who gonna tell her? And they wrote the letter.
- 27:26Speaker 1: It ain't no need you when you go down there
- 27:28Speaker 1: to your boss and get HR involved, you gotta talk
- 27:31Speaker 1: to them. And the whole time you're talking. Got the note?
- 27:38Speaker 1: Oh so I think I think your issue is you
- 27:42Speaker 1: need to address the problem because they're trying to help you. Yeah,
- 27:47Speaker 1: dog bro, good advice. Yeah, that's strong man. Yeah, and no,
- 27:59Speaker 1: if they put a note on your desk, say, dog bro,
- 28:03Speaker 1: just cut your hands, cup your hands and blow into
- 28:08Speaker 1: your own faith. Go in there and put your pp
- 28:10Speaker 1: eat mask on. Oh your mask and COVID what what
- 28:17Speaker 1: do they call that? What is the initials in ninety? Yeah?
- 28:26Speaker 1: But what do they call the supplies? Though? Yeah? Yeah,
- 28:30Speaker 1: but Monica, ain't it ppe? What you know? Yeah? Can't
- 28:40Speaker 1: your p P? Now we need to hear I thought
- 28:42Speaker 1: I saw what you said P. Yeah, well you need
- 28:47Speaker 1: to put that on. Cousin, yours probably smell like pep.
- 28:52Speaker 1: That's another thing I could have got, dog brow, dip
- 28:57Speaker 1: of mouth, you know, garbage can. There's a lot of stuff,
- 29:03Speaker 1: you know, but dog breath is pretty serious. Sometimes your
- 29:07Speaker 1: breath smell like hot garbage though too. That's another one.
- 29:11Speaker 1: All right, um, thank you, fresh can in the kitchen
- 29:16Speaker 1: with the lead on it, and you step on it
- 29:18Speaker 1: in and open and you go. Who coming up At
- 29:20Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news
- 29:23Speaker 1: for you right after this. You're listening, all right. So
- 29:30Speaker 1: Cardi b recently revealed that she was paid one million
- 29:34Speaker 1: dollars one million dollars for racy performance last weekend at
- 29:38Speaker 1: Art Basil in Miami and it barely even lasted an hour.
- 29:43Speaker 1: We all saw the video of Cardie. She had unlike
- 29:45Speaker 1: this flesh tone designer bodysuit. It was Jean Paul Gautier.
- 29:50Speaker 1: That was very risque, to say the least. The video
- 29:53Speaker 1: of Cardi Ba's performance trended earlier this week, and the
- 29:57Speaker 1: comments went wild. One Internet troll reacted to the video
- 30:00Speaker 1: on the comment not a Grammy winner performing in somebody's backyard,
- 30:04Speaker 1: well you know, Cardi. Cardi clapped right back at her.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Cardy said, quote, I got paid one million dollars to
- 30:11Speaker 1: perform at this elite banker's private event for four hundred
- 30:14Speaker 1: people and only for thirty five minutes. Think about that
- 30:18Speaker 1: when you type about this Grammy winner boom, so who
- 30:22Speaker 1: can be mad at that? I mean, Steve, have you
- 30:25Speaker 1: ever earned one million dollars for thirty five minutes of work?
- 30:29Speaker 1: I don't want to comment on that, but I pretty
- 30:31Speaker 1: much I'm gonna be down there. Hell, I'll do the
- 30:35Speaker 1: same thing CARDI did and where the same. But hey
- 30:41Speaker 1: in her side, be tan all out the back I put.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I put some modum down bankers in there. Oh, this
- 30:56Speaker 1: is what your punk ask won't here we go? Why
- 31:03Speaker 1: I know with the trolls don't even respond to all
- 31:07Speaker 1: like get your money and every last one of them,
- 31:12Speaker 1: because you know what it is. Sometimes you just get
- 31:14Speaker 1: tired of people running their damn mind. You know. I
- 31:19Speaker 1: understand the wanting to clap back. Sometimes I'll be willing
- 31:22Speaker 1: to go. I just want to tell some people off, man,
- 31:25Speaker 1: I really do, because you run in your mouth, you
- 31:27Speaker 1: don't know me. But then, really, Steve, what stops me
- 31:31Speaker 1: from clapping back is just that right there, you run
- 31:35Speaker 1: in your mouth and you don't know me, rightang, I
- 31:42Speaker 1: ain't got to engage with you. That's why they always
- 31:45Speaker 1: say stay on the wall. See if people throwing rocks
- 31:48Speaker 1: at you and you up on the wall, even if
- 31:50Speaker 1: it hits you, it ain't got a lot of velocity
- 31:53Speaker 1: and nothing. But if you come down off the wall, right,
- 31:57Speaker 1: they're throwing these rocks at our level. That's why this
- 32:02Speaker 1: is biblical. That's a scripture. I don't know the exact scripture.
- 32:05Speaker 1: But it says to stay on the wall. Yeah, I'm
- 32:09Speaker 1: not climbing way down from where I'm at to address you,
- 32:14Speaker 1: all right? What compelled she felt compelled to do it?
- 32:20Speaker 1: That that time? All right? Outfit on? Yeah, I put that.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I put that the same outfit car to b head
- 32:25Speaker 1: on get here for a million dollars. Have you seen
- 32:28Speaker 1: that outfit? Yeah, I don't know if you've seen. I'll
- 32:31Speaker 1: put that whole outfit on. It just looked it looked
- 32:34Speaker 1: like the same stock and bitcher Pryor had on when
- 32:37Speaker 1: he had show and Richard came out there in that
- 32:43Speaker 1: new super I put that thing right on d J.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Your life is calling, alright, somebody sent me the video.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I ain't really seen the video, Okay, and we'll move
- 32:53Speaker 1: on to a recent episode of The view. Um. This
- 32:56Speaker 1: story says Whoopee Goldberg revealed that to she is a
- 33:01Speaker 1: special clause in her will, Steve that prevents anyone from
- 33:04Speaker 1: making any unsanctioned biopics about her life. So I got
- 33:10Speaker 1: to ask you, since you're a living legend you are, Steve,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I'm sure someone wanted to do a biopic on your
- 33:15Speaker 1: life and career once you're gone. So, but do you care.
- 33:17Speaker 1: That's the question. Do you care? And if you cared,
- 33:20Speaker 1: who would you want to play? You? Now? I hope
- 33:22Speaker 1: my sons do it, you know what, it's in control
- 33:24Speaker 1: and makes some money off of it one day, but
- 33:27Speaker 1: hopefully that's forty years off. I really could do. Ohn't no, right,
- 33:32Speaker 1: I ain't that vain though, I don't really I see,
- 33:36Speaker 1: I don't see myself. Life is interesting. You know what, though,
- 33:42Speaker 1: I don't think if I told the truth about my life,
- 33:45Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think they believe it. I
- 33:49Speaker 1: honestly don't think they would believe we would believe it. Yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 1: but you know what though, I was talking to one
- 33:58Speaker 1: of my daughters, and my daughter to stop me and said, Dad,
- 34:01Speaker 1: that can't happen. And I just looked at her and
- 34:04Speaker 1: I went But at the time, she was twenty five
- 34:06Speaker 1: years old. So you're talking to me from a perspective
- 34:10Speaker 1: that first of all, I'm an much older black man,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you a little well off black girl. We're talking two
- 34:19Speaker 1: different perspectives. And here's what my kids found. Winton and
- 34:24Speaker 1: Broderick and Jason set me down and said, Dad, you
- 34:27Speaker 1: know what it is about you man, And we just
- 34:29Speaker 1: came to the realization, Dad, you grew up at during segregation.
- 34:34Speaker 1: They said, we don't even know what that is. He said,
- 34:37Speaker 1: so when you be saying what you're saying, we had
- 34:39Speaker 1: to feel to that. He's a man. I appreciate what
- 34:42Speaker 1: you're telling us. But our father grew up in segregation.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Our father was alive with colored only water fountains, colored
- 34:51Speaker 1: rest rooms. I've had experiences with that, so that's a
- 34:55Speaker 1: different perspective. So but if I told everybody exactly what
- 34:59Speaker 1: happened to me for real, I just don't think they
- 35:01Speaker 1: believe it. I think they would, Steve. I think, first
- 35:05Speaker 1: of all, you're a great storyteller. We believe it, and
- 35:08Speaker 1: if we believe it, other people will believe it. Get
- 35:13Speaker 1: I gotta get stuff. What's the word corrobor corroborated, that's huh, Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 1: you said it right. Look at your junior talking about
- 35:26Speaker 1: Collabo like a song. Junior said, let's collaborate like a
- 35:32Speaker 1: song or Collabo. Yeah, collaborate with but doing somebody go
- 35:36Speaker 1: along with it? Corroborate If somebody has to validate, verified, verified,
- 35:42Speaker 1: and see, then you have to go and talk to
- 35:45Speaker 1: cats in my past, and they're gonna be scared because
- 35:49Speaker 1: a lot of them was down scared they might interesting.
- 36:01Speaker 1: All right, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 36:03Speaker 1: we're gonna try and find out what herschel Walker has
- 36:07Speaker 1: been doing since um he lost the election of Senator
- 36:10Speaker 1: Rafael Warnock. We'll find out right after this. You're listening,
- 36:16Speaker 1: all right. We wanted to um, you know, find out
- 36:18Speaker 1: what herschel Walker has been up to since he lost
- 36:21Speaker 1: the election to Shirley. Let me take this over for you, please, Okay, Hey, listen, guys,
- 36:28Speaker 1: a little bit known. I've been in the background. My
- 36:30Speaker 1: name is oh Raymond Childs, and I'm the campaign manager
- 36:34Speaker 1: for herschel Walker, and I just want to give you
- 36:38Speaker 1: guys a look. Look. Yeah wow, yeah, X didn't quite
- 36:41Speaker 1: work out what we thought. But I've got Herschel here,
- 36:43Speaker 1: and Herschel's gonna explain to Herschel how are you all
- 36:46Speaker 1: I'm doing? But I'm doing might have fined moaning. Uh well,
- 36:50Speaker 1: what I want to might have fined is moaning up? Well, Herschel.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Let me just ask a couple of questions of you.
- 36:57Speaker 1: What you know? I know we did our BASTI me
- 37:00Speaker 1: lost the election. What's the plans moving for what's the
- 37:03Speaker 1: most immediate thing you're working on right now, Well, what
- 37:06Speaker 1: I'm working on right now is uh, it seemed like
- 37:10Speaker 1: they'll are opening down there at Jackson State University, and
- 37:16Speaker 1: I'm well, I figured out going on down now listen,
- 37:21Speaker 1: Sivin and gets on in there. But now, now, let
- 37:25Speaker 1: me tell you something, Raymond. What I learned. What I learned? Raymond?
- 37:28Speaker 1: You now you can't be the coach of Jackson State
- 37:33Speaker 1: University then unless you got yourself your own soul, you understand.
- 37:37Speaker 1: So I've been, uh, I've been figuring it out to
- 37:40Speaker 1: a Raymond on what I gonna you know, I've been
- 37:42Speaker 1: figuring it out, twittering and middling around here. I'm trying
- 37:44Speaker 1: to figure out what I gonna do. But but you
- 37:48Speaker 1: twitting the minie round. Now what I want to let them,
- 37:51Speaker 1: the young boys know that's gonna be under me and
- 37:54Speaker 1: who I am and what I am? Nah, what I union?
- 37:57Speaker 1: When you see me, you will hold me coach Coon.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I am coach Coon. Because if I ain't cool, I'm out.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Who is cool? If I ain't Coom? Who is Coom?
- 38:12Speaker 1: Who cool? Baby? If I ain't cool, you know who
- 38:17Speaker 1: is cool? If I ain't coom? Who is Coom? Who
- 38:21Speaker 1: who who? Who? I wake up Pickencott, I wake up,
- 38:26Speaker 1: I wake up, Pickcock? I wake up, pickcock. I wake
- 38:29Speaker 1: up pickingcock, Silicon, Billicott backco Saelicon, picking cock, I wake
- 38:35Speaker 1: up Pickencott. I picked mine to date. I picked mine
- 38:38Speaker 1: to date. I picked mine. I picked mine. I picked
- 38:41Speaker 1: mine to date, I picked mine to day. I picked
- 38:44Speaker 1: mine to day. I picked mine, I picked man. I
- 38:46Speaker 1: picked mine to day. Ain't who was cool? If I
- 38:49Speaker 1: ain't cool? Who is coon? If I an't cool? Who
- 38:54Speaker 1: is cool? You know? Address? Hey, guys, Look, that explains
- 38:58Speaker 1: it all. That's what we're about right now, because I
- 39:01Speaker 1: don't know if you remember he made a direct point
- 39:04Speaker 1: when he said, then called the coon. But he's a
- 39:07Speaker 1: country boy, and if you know anything about the country
- 39:09Speaker 1: coon is one of the smartest animals out there. That's
- 39:13Speaker 1: why we've just decided to run with it. I don't
- 39:15Speaker 1: know if it's a good idea to follow Coach Prime
- 39:19Speaker 1: in that position, and but good luck, Hey, we'll keep
- 39:22Speaker 1: your posted or what all we're doing? Shirley and the guys,
- 39:25Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go. I think Roscoe is in

- 39:30Speaker 1: after this, you're listening show. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 39:37Speaker 1: we have a special guest to get us in the
- 39:39Speaker 1: Christmas spirit. You know he's written all kinds of song. Noah,
- 39:42Speaker 1: we have no time with me, baby, I go right
- 39:44Speaker 1: on here. We'll go Mary, everybody Christmas? Hey man, how
- 39:51Speaker 1: you doing well? Hey, we'll really enjoyed it, really enjoyed
- 39:54Speaker 1: the hershel Walker there there. If I ain't cool, you're
- 40:00Speaker 1: oh God, that's all right right there, And what's up
- 40:05Speaker 1: Julia Roscoe my hero having wife, having life, and we're
- 40:12Speaker 1: going on, Hey call it, we're going on. Happy Holidays, Roscoe.
- 40:16Speaker 1: What's going Hey, welcome back Roscoe. Happy? What y'all need

- 41:30Speaker 1: I wrote everything being Crawlsy white, Cristmas, White, Christmas? Yeah,
- 41:34Speaker 1: I knew it. Christmas. Who you knew? Being Crossby's uncle.
- 41:38Speaker 1: What was his name, Bill Crawledy. That's close. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

- 42:24Speaker 1: we'll go ahead, but I still want to say my
- 42:25Speaker 1: black people come out to the house. So I gave
- 42:29Speaker 1: it to him, but I had already recorded it. H
- 42:34Speaker 1: Dreaming of Black Chrism same ros Rich sweet Potatu pie
- 42:50Speaker 1: with the ham sandwiches, kicking and potato Sally, this glisten
- 43:01Speaker 1: and kid leaves. Miles, dude, the high Lord, I'm on

- 43:20Speaker 1: old white man came along made the white chrispan big hit. Yeah,
- 43:27Speaker 1: that history. What else? What you want to do? Well?
- 43:30Speaker 1: What about silent nights? You know the temptations in my mind?
- 43:37Speaker 1: Old I think we had to do that right here now,
- 43:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you true right now, Silent night we've
- 43:43Speaker 1: written by old white Dutch choid. But I got a
- 43:47Speaker 1: hold to it, and I got the temptation together and
- 43:50Speaker 1: redid that I got the temptations were you wasn't until
- 43:55Speaker 1: I put them together. It wasn't a temptatious What were
- 44:01Speaker 1: the It was a group called consent. And I said,
- 44:06Speaker 1: you ain't in it. Conceit. It'll make no damn shit.
- 44:09Speaker 1: You got to deal with the temptations in the world
- 44:11Speaker 1: because everybody get tempted. That our temptation came about. I
- 44:14Speaker 1: would have grown groove together. All right, Roscoe, thank you,
- 44:18Speaker 1: we appreciate it. We're all in coming up next. We
- 44:23Speaker 1: got the nephew and the phone call for it today
- 44:25Speaker 1: right after this you're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show coming
- 44:31Speaker 1: up at about four minutes after the hour. It's my
- 44:33Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today and the subject is smoke and mirrors.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Smoke and Mirrors. We'll get into that in just a
- 44:39Speaker 1: few because right now it is time for the nephew
- 44:42Speaker 1: and it's prank phone call for today. What you got
- 44:44Speaker 1: for us? Now? Well, you know it's Christmas time, Shylte
- 44:48Speaker 1: Christmas decorations, okay, cat dog, if you cool it? Well,
- 44:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to read cecil. Yeah, this cecil was going on. Hey,
- 44:58Speaker 1: this many man. I live like about four fire streets
- 45:01Speaker 1: over from you, just manning. How you doing, brothers? I'm
- 45:04Speaker 1: doing do it man? How you doing? I'm good? Hey? Uh,
- 45:07Speaker 1: I see you You You got your Christmas lights up right,
- 45:10Speaker 1: you know? Yeah? I got him up. I got my
- 45:11Speaker 1: whole of them and everything set up. Man, it's just
- 45:13Speaker 1: looking really okay. Let me let me ask you something, man,
- 45:16Speaker 1: the theme you got in your yard? Where you get
- 45:18Speaker 1: that idea from? What do you mean where I get
- 45:20Speaker 1: them from? The idea? Like you got the snow Man,
- 45:23Speaker 1: you got Santa Claus, some reindeals, you got your whole
- 45:26Speaker 1: house decorated. You got Jesus with the manger and the
- 45:31Speaker 1: wise men around him. Where did you get your idea from?
- 45:34Speaker 1: I'm I'm lost what she's talking about. Man, you ask
- 45:37Speaker 1: me where I got a theme from them? I mean
- 45:39Speaker 1: you try to imply from them. I'm asking I'm asking
- 45:42Speaker 1: you a question. Where did you get the idea from?
- 45:44Speaker 1: I made this up. I made up Jesus Jesus, and
- 45:48Speaker 1: you know that represents Christmas. Man. You go with a
- 45:50Speaker 1: team that's Chrystmas base man, and that's that's Christmas base
- 45:53Speaker 1: Jesus there, Christmas Jesus and just in Jerusalem and Beth
- 45:56Speaker 1: Lamb And hey, what's what's going on? Man? Who are
- 45:59Speaker 1: you when you get my number from any I'm I'm manning, Man,
- 46:03Speaker 1: I'm manning. I got I got your number from one
- 46:05Speaker 1: of the people that live on your street. And I'm
- 46:07Speaker 1: just asking you on the real where you get this
- 46:10Speaker 1: idea from? I made this idea? If I made this up? Man,
- 46:14Speaker 1: I made this up. Get the second time you ask
- 46:16Speaker 1: me why I get idea from? What are you trying
- 46:18Speaker 1: to imports? Go the real deal? Dog? The same thing
- 46:21Speaker 1: you got if you come four streets over. I got
- 46:24Speaker 1: the same thing in my yard and it looked like
- 46:27Speaker 1: you don't stole my idea. And see what you ain't
- 46:30Speaker 1: gonna do is try to win Christmas yards of the
- 46:33Speaker 1: season and you don't stole my ideal. That's the problem
- 46:36Speaker 1: I got with you. Now. The problem you got is
- 46:39Speaker 1: like to twisted. Okay, to see I put this together
- 46:42Speaker 1: without here, I never even heard of you, manny begin with. Secondly,
- 46:46Speaker 1: I've been doing this particular theme in my yards as
- 46:49Speaker 1: I've been standing over. I've been standing over a six years.
- 46:51Speaker 1: You ain't had that. You ain't had that theme last year.
- 46:53Speaker 1: You ain't that mad this thing last year. And to
- 46:56Speaker 1: give the four and I put myself in the same
- 46:58Speaker 1: place every damn time I put it down. You did
- 47:00Speaker 1: not have this last talk about who are you to
- 47:03Speaker 1: call me and tell me about my theme and about
- 47:05Speaker 1: my yard and what you got going. I know you
- 47:07Speaker 1: ain't copying there. Man, I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 47:10Speaker 1: and I ain't gonna go no further. You need to
- 47:12Speaker 1: rearrange your theme and get a different thing, because you
- 47:15Speaker 1: got the same theme I got. No, you need to
- 47:17Speaker 1: rearrange your okay, because I ain't rearranging jack over here. Hey, man,
- 47:21Speaker 1: let me tell you get but I got to come
- 47:22Speaker 1: over there and tell you something, man, And I'm being
- 47:24Speaker 1: really as real as I can be with you. If
- 47:26Speaker 1: I got to come over there and unplugged up, if
- 47:30Speaker 1: you got some we come out. If I got to
- 47:32Speaker 1: come over to your house and unplugged some stuff, no
- 47:36Speaker 1: no no. If that thing my foot will be getting
- 47:38Speaker 1: unplug from your First of all, you ain't gonna come
- 47:41Speaker 1: on my street, in my house and just suspect me
- 47:43Speaker 1: at all about anything that I got set up in
- 47:45Speaker 1: my yard telling me I ain't something that way. I'll
- 47:48Speaker 1: tell you what. Then, I'm just gonna do this ship.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna just come over there and take Jesus and
- 47:53Speaker 1: take and take them wise men. I't your yard. That's
- 47:56Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. Come over this way, call everybody
- 47:58Speaker 1: messing with Jesus and the man. It's gonna be some
- 48:01Speaker 1: real files because first of all, that's like signally, that's
- 48:04Speaker 1: that's the center other pea. Now, if you want to
- 48:06Speaker 1: come over here, you want to kind of do something
- 48:07Speaker 1: like that, you gonna need Jesus said help you, because
- 48:10Speaker 1: it's gonna be some rollings around going on, and it's like, yo,
- 48:13Speaker 1: what's the bottom line is just right here. You got
- 48:16Speaker 1: the nerve to do the same theme. My god, I'm
- 48:18Speaker 1: full streets sober. I'm driving through looking at everybody's over here, man,
- 48:22Speaker 1: looking at everybody's got you the only one? And tom
- 48:25Speaker 1: here has I ain't seen the same way the same place?
- 48:28Speaker 1: Really doubt long yere? Ain't nobody ever called me your
- 48:32Speaker 1: stuff look like? Then? It from full five stres. I
- 48:34Speaker 1: who the heard this? Man? In any wait? Man, ain't
- 48:37Speaker 1: got no right coming on my street because you don't
- 48:39Speaker 1: stay on this street. You're going around looking at people
- 48:41Speaker 1: trying to get your ideas. Man, you got a rich No. No,
- 48:44Speaker 1: I'm very original. I've moved to this neighborhood, and so
- 48:47Speaker 1: you did. I've been here. I've been here ten years.
- 48:50Speaker 1: You've been here about six. I don't know you've been
- 48:52Speaker 1: living over here. I've been living over his six years.
- 48:54Speaker 1: This subdivision was just coming up when I came over here.
- 48:57Speaker 1: How are you gonna tell me you've been running your
- 48:59Speaker 1: team longer not be running mine? Who you crazy? Hey? Man?
- 49:02Speaker 1: And it ain't. I ain't got time to go back, man,
- 49:03Speaker 1: You know what, I got better things? So I still
- 49:05Speaker 1: got some more lights put up? Hey, I got my words?
- 49:07Speaker 1: Can go back and forth. When I'm gonna tell you
- 49:09Speaker 1: just right here, I'm gonna come take Jesus off your yard.
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Jesus and then one to take Jesus
- 49:14Speaker 1: out my yard. And I see now you're signing like
- 49:16Speaker 1: when I'm crazy people come about thinking Jesus out of
- 49:18Speaker 1: my life. That's where you've got life and messed up.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Come on over. I got something man, and man's what
- 49:22Speaker 1: you look here. Don't turn your lights on. The light's
- 49:25Speaker 1: gonna being on the nighte tomorrow, n ain't every other night.
- 49:27Speaker 1: I'm about taking my Jesus in the Manchus. I'm originally
- 49:29Speaker 1: as a written it could be. Come over if you
- 49:31Speaker 1: want to. I got something. You stole my ideal and
- 49:35Speaker 1: we're talking about this killing idea. Go on aunt here
- 49:38Speaker 1: and let's hey dog dog, let me tell you something
- 49:40Speaker 1: right now Jesus and then wise men is coming. I

- 49:49Speaker 1: Come over here if you want to touch my bathing Jesus,
- 49:52Speaker 1: touch my mainjer tech me if Joseph and the wise
- 49:54Speaker 1: man and I'm gonna put the North Star over your

- 50:56Speaker 1: are you sit up here accusing me of steending your
- 50:59Speaker 1: things when it's been my theme or all these years?
- 51:02Speaker 1: This years I've been doing this. I war best yard
- 51:04Speaker 1: three year or three years running in this season. Now
- 51:07Speaker 1: I think you're trying to get mine. But but see
- 51:09Speaker 1: the problem is you don't want the best yards because
- 51:12Speaker 1: you're still in my idea. How can I be sitting
- 51:15Speaker 1: your man? You know what you and your and I'm
- 51:18Speaker 1: ready to deal with your right. Hey, dog dog, I'm
- 51:21Speaker 1: not gonna go back and forth with you. You stole
- 51:24Speaker 1: my Jesus theme. Dog? Hold on, wait a minute, how
- 51:27Speaker 1: can I have warn that's yard three years running and
- 51:30Speaker 1: you're saying I got the thing you you should have
- 51:32Speaker 1: been getting. You must not be doing your right. Let
- 51:34Speaker 1: me let me, let me let me go on say
- 51:35Speaker 1: this to you right? Nine dogs? What's day? What Larry

- 51:45Speaker 1: Larry and Tommy told me to call you every Timmy

- 54:06Speaker 1: gym is time for the Strawberry Lady, my good friend,
- 54:08Speaker 1: Shirley straw Berry, Thank you, my good friend Junior. Subject
- 54:12Speaker 1: smoke and Mirrors. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm in a long
- 54:17Speaker 1: distance relationship with a man that my daughter hooked me
- 54:20Speaker 1: up with. He's a bodybuilder, and my daughter met him
- 54:23Speaker 1: at her gym. She said she was looking in the
- 54:26Speaker 1: mirror working out when he came and stood in front
- 54:29Speaker 1: of her to see himself in the mirror. She said,
- 54:33Speaker 1: Other than being vain, he's extremely quiet and nerdy. He
- 54:36Speaker 1: and I talked a lot in the beginning, and it
- 54:39Speaker 1: was fun to have someone to talk to. I overlooked
- 54:42Speaker 1: the fact that every time we talked he was smoking weed,
- 54:45Speaker 1: or had just had some weed, or was planning to
- 54:48Speaker 1: smoke weed at any minute. After a few months of
- 54:51Speaker 1: doing video chats, he wanted to see me. I told
- 54:54Speaker 1: him he could come visit me at my house, but
- 54:57Speaker 1: he insisted that I come visit him, especially my daughter
- 55:00Speaker 1: lives in the same city. He bought me a ticket
- 55:03Speaker 1: and asked me to stay at his house. I planned
- 55:05Speaker 1: to stay in his guest room, but I left after
- 55:08Speaker 1: he told me what he had planned for the weekend.
- 55:11Speaker 1: As he showed me around his house, I saw condoms
- 55:14Speaker 1: on his nightstand, and I was totally turned off by
- 55:17Speaker 1: the floor to ceiling mirrors in his bedroom. He asked
- 55:20Speaker 1: what I was into sexually, and I was shocked because
- 55:23Speaker 1: we'd never talked about fetishes and role playing. He told
- 55:26Speaker 1: me what he wanted to do to me sexually, and
- 55:29Speaker 1: he said we could watch ourselves in the mirrors while
- 55:31Speaker 1: we did it. I got an uber right away and
- 55:34Speaker 1: went to my daughter's apartment. He hasn't called or texted
- 55:37Speaker 1: me since, but he told my daughter I am too
- 55:39Speaker 1: shy and hard to get along with. Should I explain
- 55:42Speaker 1: the smoking mirrors to my daughter? Or let her keep
- 55:45Speaker 1: thinking that the breakup was all my fault. Please help?
- 55:49Speaker 1: Who cares what he says? That's what I say. Who cares?
- 55:53Speaker 1: And why do you feel compelled to tell your daughter
- 55:56Speaker 1: anything because she introduced you to this loser. That's still
- 56:00Speaker 1: doesn't make you obligate it. It's simply not her business.
- 56:03Speaker 1: You can just say that it didn't work out and
- 56:05Speaker 1: keep it moving. What I don't get is why you
- 56:07Speaker 1: didn't stay at your daughter's house instead of with the
- 56:09Speaker 1: man you hardly knew. I mean, you say you're in
- 56:11Speaker 1: a long distance relationship with him, but you're not in it.
- 56:14Speaker 1: You just talked to this guy. You're not in a
- 56:16Speaker 1: relationship with this man you know. You only know a
- 56:21Speaker 1: couple of things about this guy. One is Eddie smokes
- 56:24Speaker 1: weed all of the time. Your daughter's house would have
- 56:27Speaker 1: been the choice. That would have been a safer, smarter
- 56:30Speaker 1: situation for you to be in since you were traveling,
- 56:33Speaker 1: And I'm glad you got out of this house when
- 56:35Speaker 1: you did, because that could have been it could have
- 56:37Speaker 1: worked out crazy for you, could have been dangerous. You
- 56:40Speaker 1: don't know. Then you get to his house and realized
- 56:43Speaker 1: he only wanted sex from you, and that's it, really, Mom,
- 56:47Speaker 1: I think you need to slow down s because you
- 56:50Speaker 1: don't know what you want. I mean you were insulted
- 56:53Speaker 1: with the mirrors and the condoms on the nightstand. I mean,
- 56:55Speaker 1: he could have at least put those up, but he didn't.
- 56:59Speaker 1: You didn't. You didn't do enough homework or research on
- 57:02Speaker 1: this guy to know what it was gonna be, what
- 57:04Speaker 1: was gonna be waiting for you when you got off
- 57:06Speaker 1: that plane. You went from video chatting with him, thinking
- 57:09Speaker 1: you're in some sort of long distance relationship with this guy,
- 57:13Speaker 1: to staying at his house. I mean it sounds a
- 57:15Speaker 1: little crazy, and I don't want you out here acting
- 57:18Speaker 1: desperate in these streets because this is what you can
- 57:22Speaker 1: end up with, wall to wall mirrors, condoms on the nightstand,
- 57:25Speaker 1: and a man saying to you that you can watch
- 57:27Speaker 1: yourselves while you have sex what you don't even know
- 57:31Speaker 1: him like that. Again, I'm glad you left early. I
- 57:34Speaker 1: hope you learned what not to do in the future. Steve, Well,
- 57:39Speaker 1: it's a lot to unpack here, but really nothing to unpack.
- 57:44Speaker 1: This is a woman, and see I'm interested in what
- 57:47Speaker 1: she's not saying. So let's go. I mean, a long
- 57:50Speaker 1: distance relationship with a man that my daughter hooked me
- 57:53Speaker 1: up with. He's a bodybuilding My daughter made him at
- 57:55Speaker 1: her gym. She said. She was looking in the mirror
- 57:58Speaker 1: at herself working out. He came stood in front of
- 58:01Speaker 1: her to see himself in the mirror. She said, Other
- 58:04Speaker 1: than being vain, he's extremely quiet and nerdy. Okay, other
- 58:09Speaker 1: than being vain, he's extremely quiet and nerdy. Dude, that
- 58:15Speaker 1: makes sense to you, not at all. It just don't
- 58:20Speaker 1: go together at all. Therefore, I think your daughter gave
- 58:26Speaker 1: you initially a bad read. But you took the time
- 58:34Speaker 1: to start talking in facetiming and stuff, and you gotta
- 58:38Speaker 1: even worse read on this guy. You said, he and
- 58:44Speaker 1: I talk a lot. In the beginning, it was fun
- 58:49Speaker 1: to have someone to talk to. Let's stop for a minute.
- 58:53Speaker 1: What did you just say? You heard it? It was
- 58:57Speaker 1: fun to have someone to talk to. Where have you
- 59:01Speaker 1: been in Where have you been locked away? Have you
- 59:07Speaker 1: been in disposed? Have you been at a convent? Have
- 59:13Speaker 1: you been up in the mountains at a retreat? Have
- 59:17Speaker 1: you just retired from being a monk in a Buddhist temple?
- 59:21Speaker 1: What did you get? It was nice to have somebody
- 59:25Speaker 1: to talk to. So what she's not saying is she
- 59:31Speaker 1: was lonely. I think that's what the hook up was.
- 59:36Speaker 1: I overlooked the fact that every time we talked he
- 59:43Speaker 1: was smoking weed or had just all right, I lost
- 59:51Speaker 1: he was smoking weed, or had just smoked weed, or
- 59:54Speaker 1: was planning to smoke weed at any minute. It didn't
- 59:58Speaker 1: make no sense to me, the fact that every time
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: we talked he was smoking weed. I had just handsome weed.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I was playing in the smoke weed at any minute.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Smokey the nerd, that's vain, loves himself, quiet, nerdy weed
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: all the damn all the time. That's all she knew
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: about him. All right, we'll have part two of your
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: response coming up. Steve. To today's letter at twenty three
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. The subject is smoking mirrors. We'll
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter, the subject smoke
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: and mirrors. Here's a woman who is obviously extremely lonely.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Her daughter lives out of state, meets this man at
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: the gym. She was working out, looking at herself in
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the mirror. He came and stood in front of her.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: They met each other. She introduced him to her mom, saying,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: other than being vain, he's really quiet and nerdy. That
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: don't go together. Vain people are very rarely quiet or nerdy.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Your daughter does not know how to assess people. You
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: meet the man, y'all get on the phone, y'all started talking.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: He and I talked a lot in the beginning, and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it was fun to have someone to talk to. What
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: what so? Who are you? It was fun to have
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: someone to talk to. Okay, damn, where you being? Lady?
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I overlooked the fact that every time we talked he
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: was smoking weed or had just had some weed. All
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: was planning to smoke weed at any minute. Why is
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the nerty quiet personne hard talk when you're smoking that
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: damn much? Yea? And hell, he might not be quiet,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: he might yet be sleepy a lot. After a few
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: months of doing video chats, he wanted to see me.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I told him he could come visit me at my house,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: but he insisted that I come visit him, especially since
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: my daughter lives in the same city. Okay, that kind
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: of makes sense. He bought me a ticket and asked
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: me to stay at his house. I planned to stay
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: in his guest room. What anybody flew you out here
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: for that? All right? Who flew you out there to
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: stay in the guest room? If you're gonna stay in
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: the guest room, we can just stay keep on these
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: video chats because at least I can talk to you
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: while we're in this bedroom. All right? All right? Oh, hell,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I guess I'll come on and go to But I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: left after he told me what he had planned for
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the weekend. As he showed me around this house, I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: saw condoms on his night stand and I was totally
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: turned off by the floor to ceiling mirrors in his bedroom. Well,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: I don't see what's wrong with that. Yeah, daughter told
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you he was vain. He abided build. He got to
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: see itself when he gets up. But he has some
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: other plans for you. Now, you turned off by the
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: flow of ceiling mirrors in the bedroom. I kind of
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: like that myself. I don't have it. But to me,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: he asked me what I was into sexually, and I
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: was shocked because we never talked about fetishes in role playing. Well,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: but you have talked about sex. See that's what she
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: didn't put in that. Y'all just didn't discuss fetishes in
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: role playing, but everything else. Yeah, but you're lying if
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: you think all in video chats and sex ain't come up,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: that's not true. He told me what he wanted to
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: do to me sexually, and he said we could watch
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: ourselves in the mirror while we did it. That's what
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the flow of sealing mirrors is. Fault. That's what the
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: condoms is on that table phone. Your cy was in
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: new draws though. See you ain't even see that, Steve Harvey.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: There's some stuff in that draws though. I got an
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: uber right away and went to my daughter's apartment where
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you should have been in the first place. He hasn't
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: called it text me since then. Well, what are you
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: gonna say? So should I explain this? Okay, hold on,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: he ain't called it text me since then. But he
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: told my daughter, I'm too shy and hard to get
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: along with. Wait a minute, this is the quiet nerd
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that just told your daughter that you too shy and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: hard to get along with. Your daughter has a poor
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: assessment of men. But, like Shirley said, what do you ca? Yeah,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: what the hell he think? Or what your daughter think? Yeah?
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Let your daughter dat him. She liked going to the gym.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: She liked looking at herself in the mirror. I don't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: really see what you want us to do. So should
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: I let my daughter keep thinking that the break up
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: was all my fault? Please help? Just really, you really
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: don't have a problem. You're not going back up there.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: You're not into fetishes and role playing. You don't like
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: looking at yourself in the mirror because you probably get
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: out the bed. And you know, I was like cool
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: walking towards it. But when you turn sideways in that
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: float the ceiling mirror, who could throw your ass into something? Stupid?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: So stupid, that's what she don't like. Did you be
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: walking to me and be going right now, then you
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: turn to the side and you go it'd be like
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: just creep out. It's just you, you know, shocking, It
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: is shocking, and so that's what it is. And so
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: you know, I don't know what to tell you, lady.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: You really don't have a problem. I tell my daughter
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the truth. Actually I flew out here. We had discussed sex,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: but we didn't discuss fetishes and role playing. Obviously, Uh,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: big big boy over here, Well, big boy wanted to
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: put some straps on me and have me swinging back
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: and forth and every time I swung into him, you
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: knew what was gonna happen. Now listen, leave your comments
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter, at Instagram, at Steve HARVEYFM, and child.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: I didn't think that was big enough, Undimand coming up next,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Sports Talk with Junior. Right after this. You're listening, It

- 1:07:26Speaker 1: it's gonna be Cowboys. Wasn't even no hope for us?

- 1:10:08Speaker 1: surveys says. The survey says if Keenan Thompson had a
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: highly memorable skit at the People's Choice Awards, of course,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: mocking you again, Steve. This year's People Choice Awards aired
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: on Tuesday night, and the show's host, Keenan Thompson dressed
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: up as you, Steve, and played a round of celebrity
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: family feud in a skit with the ladies from the
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This is an impression that
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Keenan has done for years. Take a listen, O kay now,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I'm your man, Steve Harvey, and we hear the People's
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Choice Awards, the awards for regular people. I am a
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: regular person myself, except I'm on eight different TV shows
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: and you can see my mustache from space. All right.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: We got from regular everyday people here who are ready
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: to play the feuds if the real housewives of Beverly Hill.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Let a man. All right, let's do that, alright, Kyle,
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: shutting Catholic. It's a pleasure you are taking on the
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: reek Erica, Crystal and a Lisia. All right, you're already
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: here we go. Let do that, all right, Kyle. We
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: surveyed one hundred people and we asked, what's something you
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: shouldn't do at a party? Um, drink too much to
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: kill and do the splits. Okay, that's pretty specific, but
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: let's see it was up there. How many people said
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: doing the shots in the splits? Oh? I look at that.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Twelve people. Unbelievable. A lot of flexible people out there.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: All Right, do you get mad? What are you get mad?
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: You get mad? I ain't mad at all? Oh good,

- 1:12:40Speaker 1: none of them. Now one of them, don't care. I'm
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: not encouraging none of them. Imitation is the sincerest form
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: of flattery. They loved the love that you know who
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: wrote that? Somebody that don't get talked about. And it
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: was st Yeah, it was a major like the laugh
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you can see your must face. I ain't laugh if

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: not much? What like you know, just I don't know,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: probably something like a fat boy. No, you ain't say that,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: big dog. Come on, I'm gonna say that I had
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: him on my show. I told him he didn't even
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: want to come out. He came out on my show.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I said, man, you know how to beat your ass?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: I told him that. You see, if you're a comedian,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: you gotta be able to take a joke. You know that?
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Who keep telling ya all that? Who you're a comedian,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: you gotta be able to take a joke. Who told
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: y'all that? But we rao joke? Now? That ain't high work.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: What I mean, that's not how it works. You weren't
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: jokes about people. People can't make jokes about you. Who
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: made that up? Y'all did? That's how it should be.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: It is all right. Coming up twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Learn

- 1:15:57Speaker 1: is just a co host. I'm not well. I've been

- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I want to make sure I might not be all that?
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: But what is y'all? Right there? Right back to it,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: right back. Oh, I ain't got no problem with it.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: You could have said, what are you? What are you?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I'm talking to all of them. What is y'all? Congratulations
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: to Mayor Jalen Smith, though very probably all right. We'll
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after we'll play around. If would
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: you rather right after this you're listening show, it is
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: time now for would you rather? Would you rather have
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: your socks sliding in your shoe all day? Or would
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: you rather have your underwear in your butt all day?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Weggie all day? Which one sock sliding or your underwear
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: in your butt? Socks? I didn't heard every pore what
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you know. I had when I was in school. I
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: had them socks and hand them or elastic in the
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: top they was under They was under my arch, just
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: on the y rolled up, they rolled up under your
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I had all my sock was in the tower to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: shoot all my whole sock was under my arch. Let's
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: take it off at that point? Yeah, well not at school.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: You can't let nobody see that. So I just had
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: to deal with it, okay, Bill Bottom, So couldn't nobody
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: see it till I said out? Okay. But it was
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: uncomfortable though, to walk around, very very But I cain't
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: he had him. I can't hear them jaws. That's what
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: they call it a wedge because they're wedged up in there. Okay. Uh,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: would you rather have the ability to read people's minds?
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Or would you rather have the ability just to see
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: through walls that X ray vision read people minds? Or
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: see through walls before I got married? Hey, now that
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I'm married? Why what? What? What? Marriage? I can read? Mom?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: If I could read people's mind before I got married,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: I would find out who won'ting me? He says, I'm married.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Now I found out who won't be. I'm married to him,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: so be I want you to walk Okay, I see
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: who wanted all of this? Yeah? Yeah, uh no, I
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: just want to be able to read minds. That's my
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: business purpose. Oh you can have the advantage. Yeah this money?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Hunh Steve? Got all right? Would you rather have two
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: million dollars to live in an RV for a whole
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: year RV? Or would you have five hundred thought rather
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: have five hundred thousand dollars to live on a yacht? Oh? Hey,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: uh yeah, you're living in an RV for a year
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: for two mills, Steve, I'm gonna take five hundred thousand,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: not a yat. Yeah, hear that ball ass, y'all. I'm
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: gonna flip that five hundred on that y'allt Oh, you're
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: gonna take the yacht versus two million, and is that
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: the advantage is one point five million? He liked that
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: yacht life five hundred thousand. Why you wanna take the
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: two me, junior, just go on to say your answer
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: and accept it and take that confused ass to look
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: off your face for you to have. I have different
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: things that you don't know about, and so it's fine.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: I take the five hundred thousand, and I'm living on
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: that mega yacht out on that ocean, and you take
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: the two million and living that R and B RV.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: That's for you. No, you should do that because you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: don't have two million dollars. But you don't like water
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: like that all the time. Yeah, he dies, all right,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: like wa, don't get in it round? Would you rather
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: coming up at forty nine minutes afterwards with our last
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: break of the day right after day? You're listening, all right, guys,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: this Friday. Yes you know that weekend. So let me
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: just get into my closing remarks because they're very positive.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: Earlier today I was talking about I was struggling for
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: a minute this morning because I just felt like I
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: had this problem that I kept focusing on and then
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: focusing on the problem I had, I began to drift
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: off into just a funk. My attitude this morning was
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: kind of going the wrong direction, and I was. I was,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: as I said earlier this morning, if you your feelings,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: your current feelings are a barometer of your thoughts. And
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: what I've learned is if you can't explain the funk
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you're in, if you're walking around in a fog and
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: it's got a little depressed like for you, all you
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: have to do is retrace your thoughts over the last
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: fifteen minutes. If all you can remember thinking about was
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the last fifteen minutes and it was dark and negative
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: and gloomy and unpopular, that explains your feelings. So what
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I had to do this morning was something that I preach.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I had to practice it. Change your attitude. Start your
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: morning with gratitude, which will affect your attitude, which has
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: a direct correlation on your altitude. Everything is mental, and
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: so what I had to do is change what I
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: was looking at this morning, and it changed my perspective.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: And I had to come to the realization that whatever
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: problem I have, I have no problem bigger than my God.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I just don't I can't think, nor can you of
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: anything you've gone through in your life that you have
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: not survived. You can't think of anything. If you had
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: cancer and you're listening, you survived it, or you're currently surviving.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: If you got evicted, where are you now? Even if
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you're in a shelter, you survived the eviction. Even if
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you're in a small apartment, you lost your main home.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: You are still somewhere. That is a positive to everything,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: and you have to find it or else you will
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: stay in the gloom and the doom and the funk
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: in the dark. That's a very good thing. So let's
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: look at this week right here, this week in the news,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Senator Raphael Warnock has been given an additional six years
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: as senator. That's great news. That's a positive. I don't
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: listen to me. I don't care who you are, Democrat, Republican,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: far right, far left. That's a blessing because the alternative
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: was you know who you see and even as a Republican,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: that alternative, really, man, honestly speaking, was not a better
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: person to have speaking on your behalf at George Brittany
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Griner was free. That's good news, regardless as to how
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: you feel about her lifestyle and her life choices. What
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: are you talking about? She got free to go home.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: That's a great week. What else happened this week? Because
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I had a series of things I was thinking about.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: It's just so many great things happening this week. Right here,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you have some vived another week. You're surviving another week.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: You're still in the land of the living. You have
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: opportunities in front of you, You have choices in front
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: of you. I don't really, I don't know if people
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: really really look at their life and take inventory of
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: the choices you have to make. You know, you have
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: a choice to go to work in the morning or not.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: You can choose not to go, but the choice to
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: go produces income. Income produces the things you need, and
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: produces some of the things you want. It's all right
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: there in front of you. How really good of a
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: life you actually have, because it's far more wonderful if
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you look at the positive instead of focusing on the negative.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: You have a wonderful opportunity in front of you. And
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: that opportunity is to be grateful. Because once you fix
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: your gratitude, it affects your attitude and it is in
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: direct correlation with your altitude, and can I tell you
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: something else. You are the one and only person that
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: controls that. It is not up to your circumstances. It
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: is not of perchance, it is not laid to the
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: roll of the dice. Your ability to control your thoughts,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: it's on you. It's on you. That's a blessing, man,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: that's a huge blessing, and I want you to start
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: taking advantage of it. You can start looking at the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: glass of water you got is half empty, or you
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: can look at it as almost full. The choice is your.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: You can look at adversity as doom and gloom, or
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: you can look at adversity as a well law, well
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: sought after and fought after lesson. You can holiday and experience.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, it's just how you look at it, y'all.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: You've got to change your mental angle and you have
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: full control of that. I don't care what happens. You
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: control what you think about it. Life is ten percent
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: what happens. It's what you do about it, and what
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: you do about it all is in direct correlation with
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: how you think. You change your attitude, you change your altitude.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. It's been a great week.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: I hope you see it that way, and if not,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: start focusing on the good things in your life and
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: watch what happens to all the negatives. Tough. Have a
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: great weeknd, y'all talk to God. He'd love to get
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: from it. For all. Steve Every contests no purchase necessary,
