- 0:00Speaker 1: The Threat is a new hit podcast from Azzi Media
- 0:03Speaker 1: that explores history surprising connections in order to discover how
- 0:06Speaker 1: one thing leads to another, like how movie moguls in
- 0:09Speaker 1: early Hollywood helps spark the me too movement. Today, get
- 0:13Speaker 1: it on I Heart Radio or wherever you listen to
- 1:07Speaker 1: you go with me. Have say you gotta turn the
- 1:20Speaker 1: love go. Yeah, you gotta turn to turn the time
- 1:57Speaker 1: you lovely got to turn out. Come come on, uh
- 2:15Speaker 1: huh I show. Well a good morning everybody, and y'are
- 2:19Speaker 1: listening to the voice. Come on, dig me now one
- 2:22Speaker 1: it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well, nothing
- 2:26Speaker 1: changes about that, Nothing changes about that. Man. I was
- 2:32Speaker 1: just so getting ready to come on air this morning,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and I was just thinking, man, I was just having
- 2:40Speaker 1: a reflective moment of just how really good God has
- 2:44Speaker 1: been to me. I just it's it's it's man. Let
- 2:50Speaker 1: me just say that again, how really good God has
- 2:54Speaker 1: been to me. And here's a cold part. In spite
- 2:58Speaker 1: of myself, you understand, in spite of all my shortcomings,
- 3:04Speaker 1: in spite of all of my flaws, and and and
- 3:08Speaker 1: and and and in spite of all of what anybody
- 3:11Speaker 1: has said about me, God through his grace and mercy
- 3:16Speaker 1: just keeps me anyway as always. You know, I was.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I get taught things by people who know a whole
- 3:22Speaker 1: lot more than I do. And h Bishop T. D.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Jakes is one of my favorite teachers. He's just one
- 3:28Speaker 1: of my favorite people. He happens to be a friend
- 3:30Speaker 1: of mine too. I mean, he's always there for me
- 3:34Speaker 1: when I don't have anywhere else to turn, you know
- 3:36Speaker 1: what I mean? He said, he was talking about the
- 3:41Speaker 1: thing that he was calling exceptionalism, and what it was
- 3:46Speaker 1: all about was so many of us are exceptional people,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but we refuse to just go ahead and be exceptional.
- 3:59Speaker 1: We he settled, for the ordinary. We follow the pack.
- 4:05Speaker 1: We try to fit in. Man, oh man, oh man.
- 4:09Speaker 1: You know, I've heard my wife say this to my
- 4:12Speaker 1: children all the time. When she's scold and talking to him,
- 4:15Speaker 1: She'll be talking to him about leadership. You know, why
- 4:18Speaker 1: are you following everybody when God clearly made you to lead?
- 4:21Speaker 1: You know, she talks to him about that all the time.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So many of us are born, and so many of
- 4:26Speaker 1: you are born to be exceptional people, but we always
- 4:31Speaker 1: trying to follow the pack, always trying to be a follower,
- 4:38Speaker 1: always trying to fit in when clearly you were born
- 4:43Speaker 1: to be exceptional. And one of the things he was
- 4:46Speaker 1: talking about, I'm paraphrasing all this now because I gotta
- 4:49Speaker 1: get it into the way that I can tell it
- 4:50Speaker 1: to you. Because he's such a gifted speaker man, that's
- 4:54Speaker 1: he has, he's at another level. So I'm trying to
- 4:56Speaker 1: paraphrase is to get you the word where you can
- 4:59Speaker 1: understand this. Why would you try to fit in? Why
- 5:03Speaker 1: would you try to be uh like everybody else be ordinary?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Why would you follow the pack when God has created
- 5:13Speaker 1: you to be exceptional? You know that the key word
- 5:19Speaker 1: in exceptional is except you. Ever you ever done this
- 5:23Speaker 1: right here? You know, everybody did that except me. Everybody
- 5:27Speaker 1: felt that way except me. Everybody said that except me.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Everybody won't wanted that except me. Everybody went over there
- 5:39Speaker 1: except me. Everybody jumped in except me except me. See
- 5:47Speaker 1: why have you saying that in your life if you
- 5:49Speaker 1: were not to be exceptional? See you got to say
- 5:54Speaker 1: everybody except me at one point in you two, I
- 5:56Speaker 1: don't know who ain't done it. You know everybody wanted
- 5:59Speaker 1: every about it, voted no except me. See, so you're
- 6:04Speaker 1: you're not You're not created to follow the pack. You
- 6:07Speaker 1: ain't created to fit in. You ain't created to, uh
- 6:11Speaker 1: you know, to be ordinary. You were created to be exceptional,
- 6:15Speaker 1: as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is. You
- 6:19Speaker 1: were created to be exceptional. Why not make this the
- 6:23Speaker 1: year that you go head on and be exceptional? Why
- 6:28Speaker 1: won't this be the year that you decide in your mind?
- 6:32Speaker 1: But just has to be a decision that we make.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Now we're not following the pack no more. We're not
- 6:37Speaker 1: trying to fit in no more. We ain't settling for
- 6:41Speaker 1: ordinary no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But you know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you got you got to go ahead and follow that.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You got to get on the exceptional path because that's
- 6:49Speaker 1: what you were created for. Why be ordinary? You know?
- 6:53Speaker 1: But all of this, this comes to it has to
- 6:55Speaker 1: start with a thought. You got to first think something
- 7:00Speaker 1: thought to become things. A man is as he thinketh
- 7:05Speaker 1: that's all you will ever be. So what are your
- 7:08Speaker 1: thoughts today? Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts?
- 7:13Speaker 1: Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of fitting me in thoughts?
- 7:17Speaker 1: So why you want to be like everybody else? Why
- 7:19Speaker 1: you want to be ordinary when you could possibly be
- 7:22Speaker 1: extraordinary with a change of your mind, a change of
- 7:26Speaker 1: your venue, and you don't have to be any other
- 7:29Speaker 1: kind of way just because my mama was this way,
- 7:32Speaker 1: my daddy was this way, or this the school I
- 7:35Speaker 1: went to? This? What race I belong to? This is
- 7:38Speaker 1: my sexual preference, this is my this, this is my
- 7:40Speaker 1: dad one? Why? How many? How many? How many excuses?
- 7:43Speaker 1: You need? I'm an excuse? What? What? What? What? You?
- 7:46Speaker 1: What's it gonna be? This year that we let another
- 7:50Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days slipped by without improving
- 7:53Speaker 1: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 7:59Speaker 1: of life we have all we cannot afford to keep
- 8:02Speaker 1: letting all these years go by without changing. You're an
- 8:09Speaker 1: exceptional person. How many times have you set up and said,
- 8:13Speaker 1: everybody did that? Accept me? You know I was only
- 8:17Speaker 1: everybody jumped in accept me? I told him I knew it.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that except me. And now look at it, man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it seemed like everybody went that way except me. Okay,
- 8:32Speaker 1: do you get it? Do? Do? Do you understand what's
- 8:36Speaker 1: being said to you that won't accept me is because
- 8:40Speaker 1: couldn't it be? Because you're an exceptional person and it's
- 8:43Speaker 1: time for you to take control of that. It's time
- 8:46Speaker 1: for you to start thinking different. It's time for you
- 8:49Speaker 1: to start acting on what you think. It's time for
- 8:51Speaker 1: you to start doing something about it. It's time for
- 8:54Speaker 1: you to stop taking each and every day that God
- 8:56Speaker 1: gives us for granted and letting them go by the wayside.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Like you got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty
- 9:03Speaker 1: of more, but guess what what you're wasting the ones
- 9:05Speaker 1: you got for I got you young, and you and
- 9:09Speaker 1: you feel like you're gonna live forever. Okay, cool, But
- 9:13Speaker 1: let me ask you something. See here, here, here, here
- 9:15Speaker 1: go the part about suppose you do live? See see,
- 9:18Speaker 1: everybody went about dying, But I got news for you.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Suppose you keep on living. You want to keep living
- 9:24Speaker 1: in the condition you in now. You want to keep
- 9:26Speaker 1: living with the money you got now. You want to
- 9:29Speaker 1: keep living with the relationship you got now. You want
- 9:31Speaker 1: to keep living by yourself like you are now. You
- 9:34Speaker 1: want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man
- 9:37Speaker 1: and the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 9:39Speaker 1: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 9:41Speaker 1: your life. Problem ain't dying. It's problem is if you
- 9:44Speaker 1: keep on living. Who wants to keep on living? Just
- 9:47Speaker 1: the way they are right now. And if you could
- 9:50Speaker 1: say I'm cool, what I am just the way I
- 9:52Speaker 1: am right now in cool, this conversation ain't for you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. You know, you
- 9:57Speaker 1: want to say greatness ain't for everybody. Being exceptional ain't
- 10:02Speaker 1: for everybody. Becoming extraordinary ain't for everybody. Heck, becoming successful
- 10:07Speaker 1: ain't for everybody. I got it. And you can come
- 10:11Speaker 1: up with a way to justify your non existence and
- 10:13Speaker 1: your ordinary life all you want, and that's finding dandy.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with it. Because some people
- 10:19Speaker 1: just gonna be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack,
- 10:24Speaker 1: follow the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in.
- 10:27Speaker 1: But if you're not that person, if you want to
- 10:30Speaker 1: be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional, if you
- 10:33Speaker 1: want to be if you want to dare to be
- 10:35Speaker 1: great at something, and you got to change your mind set.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You got to get with your creating, find out what
- 10:41Speaker 1: he created you fault. You gotta quit thinking of things
- 10:44Speaker 1: just in your own thought process. You know, lean not
- 10:47Speaker 1: to your own understanding. I don't know where that is,
- 10:49Speaker 1: but it's in there somewhere. Seeing Once you lean, if
- 10:53Speaker 1: you lean to your own understanding. You know what it's
- 10:55Speaker 1: gonna do. It's gonna limit you, man, it's gonna limit you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Why not see what God God for you. I would
- 11:01Speaker 1: rather know what God got for me than to think
- 11:04Speaker 1: of all the things I could because I can't out
- 11:06Speaker 1: thank him. I haven't tried it before. All right, it's
- 11:09Speaker 1: just the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

- 14:24Speaker 1: when he lamps and candles and private romantic j You

- 21:30Speaker 1: Pizza Hut because of the word hut. You haven't gotten
- 21:37Speaker 1: enough signatures for it yet. A group of angry blacks

- 23:46Speaker 1: Mr Malone if we haven't cut his yard. Now, let's
- 23:49Speaker 1: let's just you need to take you they're cutting with

- 24:22Speaker 1: what I want to say is, uh, well, we'll go

- 26:29Speaker 1: Now you cut the room. I've got one more thing

- 27:15Speaker 1: ask you something. No man, what is the baddest radio
- 27:19Speaker 1: show in the land? Man, Steve Harvard. Sometimes you can
- 27:26Speaker 1: cut the wrong yard. It happened. He had to customer

- 28:13Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian is back in the news. She's returned to
- 28:16Speaker 1: Paris for the first time since being robbed at gunpoint
- 28:19Speaker 1: in two thousand sixteen. Now she's talking about it. Yeah,
- 28:24Speaker 1: Kim and Kanye were in the city of lights for
- 28:26Speaker 1: twelve hours for a fashion show. It was a perfect
- 28:30Speaker 1: time to come back to a place where I fell show.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Huh we we wouldn't know that only Yeah, it was
- 28:39Speaker 1: the perfect Yeah, I just I got to get beat
- 28:51Speaker 1: over there here, She says. It's a perfect time to
- 28:57Speaker 1: come to a place, back to a place where she
- 28:59Speaker 1: fell in love, but also a place where she suffered
- 29:02Speaker 1: great trauma. While it was an emotional experience, Kim wasn't
- 29:05Speaker 1: overly traumatized because she put the experience behind her. She said,
- 29:10Speaker 1: for me, there's no point in staying in a blanked
- 29:13Speaker 1: up state of mind. Feel it, go through it, and
- 29:15Speaker 1: move on. I like that. That's always been how she
- 29:18Speaker 1: she says, feel it, go through it, and move on.
- 29:21Speaker 1: That's always how she's tried to live her life. She
- 29:24Speaker 1: could stay yeah, security, I mean, man's hotels to stand
- 29:30Speaker 1: and I understand the need for privacy somebody like her,
- 29:33Speaker 1: you know, but you get off that beaten path and
- 29:36Speaker 1: that private stuff. Man, it's just too many ways. They
- 29:40Speaker 1: got three hotels, four hotels in Paris, where their slogan
- 29:47Speaker 1: is I wish you woo staying in French that lack
- 29:56Speaker 1: who yes shoot please yeah um and We're gonna switch
- 30:06Speaker 1: gears a little bit coming up next. The city of
- 30:08Speaker 1: Pittsburgh is demanding justice for Antoine Rose. You're listening to
- 30:14Speaker 1: show all right. Antoine Rose, the second the unarmed team
- 30:21Speaker 1: who was shot by police last week near Pittsburgh, was
- 30:24Speaker 1: laid to rest yesterday. East Pittsburgh police officer Michael Rossfield
- 30:28Speaker 1: shot Antoine seventeen. Antoine was seventeen. He shot him three
- 30:33Speaker 1: times last week as he fled a car stopped by police.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Since his death, protesters have marched in downtown Pittsburgh demanding accountability.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Several groups shot down highways and intersections across the city
- 30:47Speaker 1: during several days of protest. Um they shut it down,
- 30:51Speaker 1: I should say not shut it down. They shut it down.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Antoine was a passenger in the car, which authorities suspected
- 30:56Speaker 1: of being involved in a shooting earlier in the day.
- 31:00Speaker 1: On June nineteenth, Alleghany County um Police said the police
- 31:04Speaker 1: ordered the driver out of the car and onto the ground.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Antoine and another passenger ran from the vehicle, and the
- 31:11Speaker 1: East Pittsburgh officer opened fire, striking the teenager. Police said.
- 31:15Speaker 1: One witness told authorities it was like he was taking
- 31:20Speaker 1: target practice out of this young man's back. He didn't flinch,
- 31:24Speaker 1: He didn't say stopped running. He didn't say anything, she said.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Officer ross Field has been sworn in. He had been
- 31:31Speaker 1: sworn into the East Pittsburgh Police Officers UH police force
- 31:34Speaker 1: just hours before the shooting. I had heard this that
- 31:37Speaker 1: he was fresh off yeah training and being sworn in.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Though he had worked with other local departments for seven years.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Rose Field had been placed on administrative lead. UH. Folks
- 31:48Speaker 1: in Pittsburgh are demanding justice for Antoine. He's a rookie.
- 31:53Speaker 1: To that, he was just new to that. To that.
- 31:55Speaker 1: They were trying to Antoine's lawyers, trying to get his
- 31:59Speaker 1: police record made public because they think there's something there.
- 32:04Speaker 1: It's really tragic, man, because he said nothing to this kid. No,
- 32:10Speaker 1: nothing to this kid, you know, man, I just it's
- 32:14Speaker 1: it's so it's so deep seated, this hatred of black
- 32:22Speaker 1: people amongst some people in authority. And it's not just
- 32:30Speaker 1: the police department. It's in politics. It's like that Fox
- 32:34Speaker 1: host that was talking about the kids at the border.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Those aren't our kids. Wait a minute, man, So because
- 32:41Speaker 1: they're not your kids, you can't be sympathetic to a
- 32:44Speaker 1: child being separated from their mother. This this this climate
- 32:51Speaker 1: that we're in right now. It just allows for people
- 32:55Speaker 1: to freely think they can say what they want to say.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And a lot of it is because calls. There's a
- 33:01Speaker 1: man in the White House who says the things he says,
- 33:05Speaker 1: And it's never been more a okay with certain people
- 33:09Speaker 1: to come out with their true feelings. Which for me, uh,
- 33:16Speaker 1: I knew it all along, you know, it's it's it's
- 33:20Speaker 1: it's I've known it all along that this has gotten better,
- 33:25Speaker 1: but it's worse at the same time. So how can
- 33:27Speaker 1: you even say that? But I've always known about the
- 33:30Speaker 1: undercurrent of racism in this country. It's never I don't
- 33:34Speaker 1: see it going away ever. It's too deep seated. Man.
- 33:37Speaker 1: It's just people think that because of the color of
- 33:40Speaker 1: their skin, that they have the right to be better
- 33:42Speaker 1: than somebody else. And whatever color your skin is, I
- 33:45Speaker 1: got news for you. You're not better than somebody because
- 33:47Speaker 1: of the color your skin. The fact that you would
- 33:50Speaker 1: think that already diminishes your your, your, your, your, your, your,
- 33:55Speaker 1: your whole ideal. How dare you think you're better than
- 33:59Speaker 1: somebody else? About to be or it will be here? Yeah, Yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 1: it's it's so sad, Steve, it really is another one,
- 34:10Speaker 1: you know, another one? All right? Would you please introduce
- 34:14Speaker 1: ms Anne, Ladies and gentlemen, she's here, miss and Trip.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Thank you very much, everybody. White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee
- 34:22Speaker 1: Sanders is defending the most recent remarks made on Twitter
- 34:25Speaker 1: by her boss. President Trump is calling for the removal
- 34:27Speaker 1: of unauthorized immigrants from the US without giving them the
- 34:30Speaker 1: opportunity to explain the situation to a judge. However, Sanders
- 34:34Speaker 1: says that that wouldn't necessarily mean that they're not treated fairly.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Thousands of illegal aliens are removed every month without seeing
- 34:40Speaker 1: an immigration judge as a result of procedures in current law,
- 34:44Speaker 1: including voluntary removal and expedited removal. There's a current backlog
- 34:49Speaker 1: of hundreds of thousands of cases in the immigration system.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Trump is calling that a mockery, and he's blaming that
- 34:55Speaker 1: on the Democrats. On strong borders and we want no prime,
- 34:59Speaker 1: strong bod we want no crime. The Democrats want open
- 35:04Speaker 1: borders and they don't care about crime. The Democrats, of course,
- 35:06Speaker 1: dispute Trump's claimed that they don't care about crime. During
- 35:10Speaker 1: a heated debate about immigration on Fox News, a man
- 35:12Speaker 1: who worked as a deputy campaign manager for Trump, Dave
- 35:15Speaker 1: boss told the black guest that he was quote out
- 35:17Speaker 1: of his cotton picking mind unquote. Democratic strategist Joe Paine
- 35:22Speaker 1: shot back at Bossy, Hey man, I've got some relatives
- 35:25Speaker 1: who picked cotton and I'm not gonna let you attack
- 35:27Speaker 1: me like that on television. Bossy then acted like he
- 35:29Speaker 1: didn't know why Paint was so upset. However, the Fox
- 35:32Speaker 1: News network did. They labeled Bossy's comments deeply offensive, holy inappropriate,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and according to The Daily Beast, Fox has now suspended
- 35:39Speaker 1: this guy, David Bossy, from his job as a network contributor.
- 35:43Speaker 1: An unidentified man has brought an eight year old black
- 35:45Speaker 1: girl in San Francisco four tickets to Disneyland for her
- 35:47Speaker 1: and her whole family, and the man's actions coming in
- 35:50Speaker 1: the wake of that story about her that's gone viral.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Little Jordan Austin's mom lost her job, so she was
- 35:55Speaker 1: selling water outside her building to make enough water to
- 35:58Speaker 1: want money rather to go to the famous amusement park Disneyland,
- 36:03Speaker 1: and a white female, Allison Edel, threatened to call the
- 36:06Speaker 1: cops on a child, saying she didn't have a permit.
- 36:08Speaker 1: The child's mother took a video of the woman threatening
- 36:10Speaker 1: her daughter. It went viral, community people calling it another
- 36:13Speaker 1: incident of living while black, calling the white woman who
- 36:16Speaker 1: wouldn't let a lily black little black girl sell water
- 36:18Speaker 1: permit Patty Alison Edel now claims she's the victim and
- 36:21Speaker 1: that she's getting death threats and other hate calls. By
- 36:24Speaker 1: the way, Allison Edel reportly sells marijuana lace products for pets.
- 36:28Speaker 1: That's what she does for a living. In another case,
- 36:31Speaker 1: the High Court voted uh. The Supreme Court voted to
- 36:34Speaker 1: uphold Texas legislative and congressional district lines yesterday with the
- 36:38Speaker 1: mostly conservative five to four. The Supreme Court decision considered
- 36:41Speaker 1: a victory for Republicans. Critics accused Texas lawmakers are purposely
- 36:45Speaker 1: drawing districts lines so to dilute the influence of black
- 36:48Speaker 1: and Latino voters. There are primary speaking of voters in
- 36:52Speaker 1: seven states today South Carolina, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah,
- 36:56Speaker 1: and New York. And finally, today is a national beauty
- 37:00Speaker 1: Titian's dead with ham beautiful. It's all about here. It'll
- 37:07Speaker 1: be back with more entertaining. Today's trending topics, all that
- 37:09Speaker 1: good stuff. Twenty minutes after the hour and the Steve
- 37:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Hashtag permit Patty calls cops on a black child that
- 37:20Speaker 1: was selling bottled water. I know you guys saw this.
- 37:23Speaker 1: There's another Becky in the spotlight for calling the cops
- 37:27Speaker 1: on black kids and people for no reason. We all
- 37:30Speaker 1: remember Jennifer Schultz, also known as Barbecue Becky. Yes, yes,
- 37:38Speaker 1: all times. Yeah, but that's what she gets. She remembers
- 37:42Speaker 1: she called the police on a group of black people
- 37:44Speaker 1: in Oakland for barbecuing in a public area that she
- 37:48Speaker 1: claimed was illegal. Who are you? Uh? Now, we've got
- 37:53Speaker 1: Alison Edel, better known as hashtag permit Patty. Permit Patty,
- 37:59Speaker 1: she got real big and mad and call the police
- 38:03Speaker 1: on an eight year old little black girl for selling
- 38:06Speaker 1: bottles of water. Okay. In a viral clip that was
- 38:10Speaker 1: posted on Instagram, Edel is seeing trying to hide from
- 38:15Speaker 1: the little girl's mom, who was recording the video. Permit
- 38:18Speaker 1: Patty was holding her phone to her ear and said, yeah,
- 38:22Speaker 1: illegally selling water without a permit. Apparently, the little girl
- 38:26Speaker 1: was selling water in front of her apartment to baseball
- 38:29Speaker 1: fans on their way through the A T and T
- 38:31Speaker 1: Park in San Francisco. Edo later turned later told Huffington's
- 38:36Speaker 1: post her actions had no racial component to it and
- 38:39Speaker 1: claimed she only pretended to call the police after hours
- 38:43Speaker 1: really really really really when the lady followed her with
- 38:47Speaker 1: your video. Care, the black lady said, no, no, boo.
- 38:55Speaker 1: The world is going to see that. You're calling on
- 38:58Speaker 1: a little girl for selling water without a permit. But
- 39:03Speaker 1: she's on her property. That's not her property and right there.
- 39:07Speaker 1: But you know what, don't care. Somebody text and said,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you know, red Bone text, I want to rear some
- 39:14Speaker 1: of the comments. He said, you know, minding It don't
- 39:21Speaker 1: cost a Dann to mind your m F and B.
- 39:28Speaker 1: He said, it don't cost a Dan to man you
- 39:34Speaker 1: MF and business. That's why are you tripping about a
- 39:39Speaker 1: little girl selling water to people walking to the stadium
- 39:43Speaker 1: and trying to make a little money and enterprising little
- 39:46Speaker 1: black girl. Okay, we're selling bottles of water. What So
- 39:50Speaker 1: apparently the little girl was trying to sell the bottles
- 39:52Speaker 1: of water to raise money to go to Disneyland. Okay,
- 39:57Speaker 1: money to go to Disneyland. Yeah, so someone ended up
- 40:00Speaker 1: buying four tickets for her, and the lady was crying
- 40:03Speaker 1: and apologizing. Patty how to cry out? Yeah, alright, um
- 40:12Speaker 1: so if you want to comment on this story, go
- 40:14Speaker 1: to all social media at Steve Harvey f M. Now,
- 40:17Speaker 1: coming up at thirty or four after the hour, we'll
- 40:19Speaker 1: have comedy Roulette. We're gonna spend the wheel right after this.
- 40:24Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey. Alright, Steve J is here.
- 40:29Speaker 1: He's ready with a comedy roulette. Explain it. But we're
- 40:34Speaker 1: getting people every hour. Alright, come and roulette. Here's that go.
- 40:43Speaker 1: You take the subjects, take five of them to be exact.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Put him on a wheel, butting the wheel, which stop.

- 41:45Speaker 1: together because ain't be together because you're stand with your MoMA. Dude. No, No,
- 42:01Speaker 1: we can't be together because you like everybody. I don't
- 42:06Speaker 1: even feel special. All right, all right, we can't be
- 42:13Speaker 1: together because you met me and your mama like each
- 42:19Speaker 1: That ain't gonna work right there in your mama. So
- 42:27Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say this in the first just won't
- 42:29Speaker 1: hurt me anyway. This actually happened to me. A girl
- 42:34Speaker 1: told me we can't be together because I don't like
- 42:37Speaker 1: your place. Steve, you mentioned this like everything every Yeah,
- 42:50Speaker 1: up again, we can't be together because I don't like
- 42:56Speaker 1: your friends. To teach you, you haven't had to deal
- 42:59Speaker 1: with that since you were in the nest. Told you
- 43:05Speaker 1: that you then you then you had to try to
- 43:09Speaker 1: get in the movie blow the features on twenty five
- 43:13Speaker 1: on TV. We don't know your pain. You don't know
- 43:18Speaker 1: what I'm going through. Realize that I have found that
- 43:21Speaker 1: I don't like face and I'm on TV all the time. Come,
- 43:28Speaker 1: we can't be together because I'm gonna just tell right now,

- 55:44Speaker 1: got it for you. Here. It is the straw Tommy.
- 55:48Speaker 1: This one's for you. So you think subject too many
- 55:52Speaker 1: bodies in one bed Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been dating
- 55:56Speaker 1: a man for six months now. He is divorced and
- 55:59Speaker 1: has two kids, a twelve year old daughter and a
- 56:02Speaker 1: ten year old son. I have never had kids, and
- 56:05Speaker 1: I really like his My only problem is that he
- 56:08Speaker 1: still lets his kids sleep in the bed with him
- 56:12Speaker 1: whenever I'm at his house. The kids still sleep in
- 56:14Speaker 1: his bed with us. They spend the weekend with him
- 56:17Speaker 1: every other week, and I feel weird about sleeping with
- 56:20Speaker 1: a ten year old boy. I told him I'd sleep
- 56:23Speaker 1: on the couch, but my boyfriend won't let me. He
- 56:25Speaker 1: promised to have a talk with the kids, and he
- 56:27Speaker 1: said that he would buy them new mattresses, but they
- 56:31Speaker 1: said they'd rather sleep with us. My boyfriend tried to
- 56:34Speaker 1: tell me that it's great bonding time for him and
- 56:36Speaker 1: the kids since they don't live with him full time.
- 56:39Speaker 1: I get it he misses them, but I don't know
- 56:41Speaker 1: what to do. Am I just being a mean person?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Or is it normal for me to feel weird about
- 56:46Speaker 1: having his kids in the bed with us. This has
- 56:48Speaker 1: got to change. What should I do? Uh? No, you're
- 56:51Speaker 1: not mean, and you're not being a mean person. It
- 56:55Speaker 1: is not normal, I think for your man, his two kids,
- 56:59Speaker 1: and you to be all sleeping in the same bed. Yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 1: you're right, this does have to change. I think what
- 57:05Speaker 1: you should do is you're just going to have to insist.
- 57:08Speaker 1: I know you said and suggested that you sleep on
- 57:10Speaker 1: the couch, but you'd have to actually sleep on the
- 57:13Speaker 1: couch and insist on it. Uh, when you're over there. Um,
- 57:16Speaker 1: you shouldn't be uncomfortable sleeping in his bed, but you are,
- 57:19Speaker 1: and I'm uncomfortable for you. It is uncomfortable sleeping with
- 57:23Speaker 1: a ten and twelve year old. I mean, is is
- 57:25Speaker 1: there enough room? I'm thinking about that too, especially if
- 57:29Speaker 1: you know, if these kids aren't yours, and even if
- 57:32Speaker 1: they are, they should have their own room and and
- 57:35Speaker 1: and he should buy their own mattresses. He wants to
- 57:37Speaker 1: bond with his kids. I get it, but um, yeah,
- 57:41Speaker 1: just go ahead by the mattresses, start slowly weaning them
- 57:45Speaker 1: from sleeping with him in the bed. They can bond
- 57:47Speaker 1: in other ways. And until then, either you don't go
- 57:50Speaker 1: over there, he goes over your house, or you just
- 57:53Speaker 1: sleep on the couch when you're over there. Steve, Well,
- 57:57Speaker 1: this is a crazy situation to this one, and it's
- 58:00Speaker 1: being put in it is too many damn bodies in
- 58:02Speaker 1: the bed sleeping with a person. Unless you're sleeping with them,
- 58:09Speaker 1: it's sleep is not the time unless you're a couple
- 58:12Speaker 1: to produce bonds. You can bond other ways. You bond
- 58:17Speaker 1: in a couple relationships sleeping together. That's why a couple
- 58:21Speaker 1: sleep together. It's not healthy for a child to sleep
- 58:26Speaker 1: with a parent up to a certain age. It creates
- 58:30Speaker 1: something in a child that I don't know what it's called,
- 58:33Speaker 1: and it's just I don't know if it's enabling, but
- 58:36Speaker 1: it's just not healthy, especially now that he's requiring that
- 58:42Speaker 1: you not sleep on the couch, that you over there
- 58:45Speaker 1: and you gotta sleep with his kids, which is great
- 58:48Speaker 1: that you love them and you want to have a
- 58:50Speaker 1: bond with them, but technically they're not your kids. Now
- 58:54Speaker 1: this boy is teen. Come on, see now it's aren't ten.
- 59:01Speaker 1: And you say you feel a little uncomfortable sleeping with
- 59:04Speaker 1: a ten year old boy, I got news for said
- 59:12Speaker 1: you should feel. Telling you right now the former ten
- 59:18Speaker 1: year old boy and the former teen boy to be
- 59:21Speaker 1: Twitter and the way things is happening. No, it's probably
- 59:24Speaker 1: happening for them a little bit earlier. You can't beat
- 59:28Speaker 1: there for one of them surprised quiet. It ain't his fault.
- 59:34Speaker 1: But you don't need to be there now. I'm assuming
- 59:37Speaker 1: you got to be fine. Called the daddy thank you.
- 59:41Speaker 1: So I'm pretty sure his boy gonna feel the same.
- 59:46Speaker 1: And they ain't mad at you because they he ain't
- 59:48Speaker 1: with a MoMA, no mo and all that. Oh girl,
- 59:55Speaker 1: what is that sugarfoot moment? There's your loving I'm gonna
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: make up my own mind, your sire will uh, I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: don't think I don't. Did she say the twelve year
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: old girl was sleeping in that? Yeah? They're all sleep
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: in there in there, yeah, and looks, sir, you know
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you're sleeping in the bed every night. It's nothing wrong.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: It's your daughter. I got it. I'm not even my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: mind ain't even in that direction. And I got you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: on a bond with your kids. But listen, man, it's
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: unfair to your new partner, your girlfriend. It's unfair to her.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You've got to get these kids a mattress. You've got
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: to get him away to sleep on that own. Y'all
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: can't all sleeping that man, And it's not cool. It's
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: not cool. I'll see. First of all, let me explain
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: this to you. He doesn't get to see him but
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: once every other week. So now he's Disney Dad. He
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: trying to make it all fun, lovey dovey. These my kids. Man,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: when they come over here, they get whatever. They won't do, whatever,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: they won't sleep, whatever, you won't. He being Disney Dad
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: because he just want to have the time that he
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: has with his children to be a wonderful experience. I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: understand it's been as much time with them as he can.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I got it. Sleeping ain't the way to go. I
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: gotta be naked sometime. Now. I'll give you a personal experience.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Rose was sleeping with us one time, my little granddaughter,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and you know I sleep with clothes on when the
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: grandkids is open, all right, because you don't need him
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: to go to therapy. Get to the point, I'm on, fool,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: What is that over there by Papa? So Rose foot?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: She laid her foot on my ass one night. Now
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: I forgot she was in the bed. It so when
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I reached over to touch what I thought was Marjorie's
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: hand and wound up with a baby foot in my hand.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: The shock that my hand said, straight off, scared to tell,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: oh lor I went out stands and started immediately talking
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: to God because a little foot landed on my button.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I got on sweatpants. But I'm gonna okay my girl,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: all right, right. I stuck in my hand back there
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and had number the hand for the little bit of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: baby foot. Hey man, I got him, came downstairs, started
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: watching CNN him all you be over there, sleep one time.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Let that little ten you old boy, reach over and
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: pat you one time on your ass. You ain't gonna
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: understand it, and he ain't. He all right, let's go
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: to break right here. Uh, we'll at part two response
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: coming up a twenty three after the hour. The subject
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: of today's strawberry letter too many bodies in one bed.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, let's go with part two
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry letters subject too many
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: bodies in one bed. Let's recapt it has too many
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: bodies in the bases. Man. He gets custed of his
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: kids every other weekend, and when they come over here,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: has got a new girlfriend. She walks all on, he walks.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: All of them sleep in the bed together, the twelve
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: year old girl, the ten year old boy and the
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: new girlfriend. She's uncomfortable sleeping in bed with the ten
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: year old boy because I'm telling you what's happening right
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: now is the daddy on the edge, the twil year
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: old girl next to her, the twin year old boy
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: in the to the twelve year old girl, and then

- 1:04:07Speaker 1: order can be in. That's why she struggled. She's struggled.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: This boy team. He's gonna roll over and touch something
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he felt before. It's gonna be on raise that all
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: those mattresses, Okay, you gotta get it when you can't
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: help all and blessing stuff in that little bit of
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: boy face because he on their handles. That's gonna be
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: a show and tell. That's hard to be the story.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to school with the story. But the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: story just go in there and getting no peace by well,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: well y'all did don't let me tell you what I

- 1:10:08Speaker 1: What's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: f M or at my Girl Shirley. Now this Thursday
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: at one thirty pm, please join me for the Strawberry
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Letter Live after show on Facebook Live one pm Eastern Time.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Coming up in ten minutes, Steve is going to answer
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: another strawberry letter from the Steve Harvey FM Instagram page.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: A husband is upset that his wife took a whole
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: bunch of money out of their savings account. Wait till
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: you hear this. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, So, Steve, we have a
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: husband who is upset at his wife and posted his
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: strawberry letter on the Steve Harvey FM page on Instagram.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: So listen to this, Steve. This is from the husband.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I lived at home for two years and managed to
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: save a to twenty dollars in my savings I've been
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: married for about three years and brought it up to
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: forty five thousand dollars. My wife, Yeah, that was good, right.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: My my wife put in five thousand dollars to bring
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: it up to fifty thousand. Recently, she went behind my
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: back took all fifty k out of the savings account
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: and used it to pay off her student loans. Needless
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: to say, I am furious over it. Yes, I understand, Yes,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I understand marriage is not about one person. But seeing
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: as how I alone put the forty five k in,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: the least she could have done was consult with me
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: before making such a big decision. Now I am considering divorce. Divorce,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: what do you guys think I should do? You wow tonight? Well,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: he's absolutely correct in being furious, and it was a
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: very stupid thing to do, because it doesn't make any sense.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: You cannot go to jail for not paying back alone.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: You can go to jail for not paying your taxes.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: It takes far too long to accumulate that much cash
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: you've been saving, sacrifice it. Nobody saved and sacrificed it
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: for you to go and pay off a damn student loan.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: It's easier for us to come up with this monthly
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: note than it is to ever come up with fifty
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: grand again. Come on, now, if you've had taken the
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: five you contributed and said I'm gonna pay off my loan,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: he'd have been a lot more understanding of that. But
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: this man and gutted it out. It take a long
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: time to sacrifice and save forty five thousand dollars. You're
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: gonna take the whole forty five and give it to
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: the damn government as if they need it? Are you
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: kidding me? So? All of our life savings is gone?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: And then you didn't tell me so you can pay
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: off your student loans? Under did it though? I mean, really,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: this is your husband? Can it really is? Is? See?
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: And it's not just that. Yeah, you've destroyed the trust
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and you've done the ultimate to a man. Because let
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: me tell you something about men. We equate our ability
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: to provide and provision is a huge part of us
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: showing our love to a person. This man lived at
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: home for two years, so he could say that's a sacrifice.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Then since you all been married, he took it up
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: the fortifive. You added five to make it fifty. Didn't
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: you turn around and take it all out? Now you
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: got nothing. You don't have a down payment for a house.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: You don't have any vacation money. You killed that that
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: You killed your nest egg money. So you can pay
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: off your student loans because you don't got how to
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: them calling your ass. Now, let's just say she owed
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: how much a month? What would you think would be
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: a high student monthly? Two? D okay? I was thinking
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: to three? No nowhere anybody pulling? Okay, So you got
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: a student loan that's costing you let's say max three,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: let's say five hundred. You got stud there's five hundred
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: dollars a month. Yeah, it's easy to come up with
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the five hundred than it is to ever come up
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: with fifty. But why would you go behind his back? Though?
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: That's if you got tired of paying it. If you
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: have said, sweetie, can we take the five hundred a
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: month out of our savings to pay this loan down,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: he probably would have said that, but she didn't know.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: She didn't say anything. She just did it. That's the
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: that's right, that's right. You've you You just made a
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: mockery of this man's work ethic. And men don't like that.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Men don't like that. No one, let me tell you
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: something once I get myself together when you come home
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: in another two days. I didn't sold that damn house.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: I didn't sold your car, and I just sold everything
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: out that damn clouds that you got in there that
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I can get often to get enough money to get
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: my hands away from you. What's she gonna be for
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: two days? I don't know, but I'm finished to steal
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: everything out this house them. But the simple thing, I
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: haven't said anything. This is why you don't. And you
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: know what, though this man loves this woman, Yeah, he
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: does love her this one. You have two different bank accounts.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: This is it right here? Yeah, but you have a
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: savings account together. It's husband and wife. There's nothing wrong
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: with absolutely people do it every day and you should.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: She had no right to move that amount of money
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: without talking to her husban. She was. It was selfish. Yeah,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: she's deceitful. This is wrong. Yeah, yeah, gone, I stay. Yeah,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: she's taking some of the money. He probably could understand,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: but he took all the money. It's about the trust,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: the fact that she went behind this is your husband.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: She went behind his back and took all his money.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: I'll be going and my sister be over here to see.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: That's what you need to know. What you don't want
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: is junior sister. But I supped to be over here
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: to see yours. I can't touch you, my sister about
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: my fi. Whatever you got left goes into an ash. Yeah,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: it would be hard for me to stay in this
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: relationship because of the trust. Because if she did it
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: this time, she'll do it. She can do it again.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: That's really fine what she did. And that man all
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: of his work though, yes, Steve, that's that that's what's
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: killing me. Do I stayed at home for two years
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: trying to save money. I came into this relationship with
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: twenty then I got all the way up to forty five.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: This man trying to save so they can have So
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: she did, took this damn money and paid off a
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: damn student loan, which means she doesn't give a darn
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: about him and what he's trying to do. I'm out, yeah,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: all right, all right, if you want to comment, go
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: to all social media at Steve Harvey f M. Coming
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour of the President
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: is beefing with Jimmy Fallon, of all people. We'll talk
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: about that right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Morning Show. Jimmy Fallon has become the latest target of
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: President Trump's late night tweet tweet storms. The Tonight Show
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: host recently said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: that he made a mistake during his two thousand and
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: sixteen lighthearted interview with thein Canada Trump and which he
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: playfully musted up his hair. Uh. Fallon was criticized at
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: the time for being too soft on Trump and accused
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: him of trying to normalize him. Trump fired back Sunday
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: night tweeting, Jimmy Fallon is now whimpering to all that
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: he did the famous hair show with me where he
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: seriously messed up my hair and that he would have
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: uh now done it differently because it is said to
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: have humanized me. He is taking heat. He called and
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: said monster ratings. Be a man. Jimmy Fallon tweeted a response, saying,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: in honor of the President's tweet, I'll be making a
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: donation to uh what is this race? Is? Uh in
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: his name? RACES is the nonprofit Refugee and Immigrants Center
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: for Education and Legal Services, which provides legal services forts.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: So there you go. I always yeah, I think, uh,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: you know, Donald Trump man is just repeatedly, over and
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: over and over doing things that's not only non presidential,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: it's just not becoming of the decency of humans. I mean, look, man,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you cannot because see he's this thing that he has
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: now is to win at all costs. He only cares
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: about winning and how he looks in the process. So
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: now what he's going to do is for this re
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: election m hmm, because he can't imagine being a one
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: term president, because he wants to show now that his
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: first one was legit, even though he lost by three
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: and a half million popular votes. He wants to prove
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: that his candidacy is legiti. All he needs is the
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: the people his base and those Republicans to side with him.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: And that's what's scary. And the Republicans know that they're
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: dead meet in the next presidential election if they don't
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: book that, if they don't back the current president, because
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: what they're saying, then is it where we lie for
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: four years? This is not a good guy, which they
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: know he's not, so they're gonna have to back him,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: and they're gonna have to throw the weight at the
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: party behind him. So they're trying to normalize and legitimize
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: everything he does. This stuff with these kids at the border, man,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: there's not a person in their right mind who could
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: think this is right. But when you got Fox anchor
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: people saying ignorant mess like those are our kids. You
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: got that lady that's the head of up the blonde
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: lady that's the head of thettle huh, Chris, that woman
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Christians stood up there with them, blood shot eyes and
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: just lie and just lied. Man. They are they are
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: just not not the right people in at all. And
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Jeff's sessions. See, this whole plan to separate these families
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: was done months ago, back in May. We're gonna start
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: separating them and not to determine from coming. Well, the
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: people that they're not trying to cross the border illegally.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: They're walking up and they're asking for asylum. Uh huh,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: that's people still trying to cross illegally, that's true. But man,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: it's some people over there just seeking asylum and we're
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: turning our backs on these people. They're woment on the
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: bridge holding her baby, she just crying, her son just
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: sitting on her lap, and now they just separate building.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: No what he's the man that's child abuse. It's horrible.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Now he didn't sign this little thing that he could
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: have been and signed because he couldn't stop the policy
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: because this is their policy. But man to to do
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: it this way. This is the Jets and Jeff's sessions.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: What do we think when when when that racist dude
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: got in. He's in Alabama. He ain't done nothing nothing
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: for nobody color down there. You might as well had
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: George Wallace and here not the comedian, the former governor,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: to make some changes. Yeah, there's some statewide primaries going
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: on today Tuesday, Election Day, so good, want to make
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: some changes and vote. There's some primary runoffs today. Registered
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: to vote if you missed this part to get ready
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: for the mid term election. Job we gotta turn out. Well,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: here's a scary part. If the Democrats don't hurry up
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: and get somebody out that's going to run for president
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: or the name recognition of somebody that people can get behind,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Trump can win again and we have nobody. There was
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: a poll at CNN that came out yesterday that said,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: amongst the Republicans, uh, Donald Trump has approval rating and
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: speaking about the things this border control, this is taking kids.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: It's a lot of people that like that because it
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: made them feel better about their funds. Like I'm telling you, man,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: it's a lot of people that liked that because this
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: president has pulled the cover back on this hidden racism
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: We've been dealing with fate years and years and years
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: head and pulled the cover back. Ain't no more covert racist?
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Oh no. We I'm telling telling you there's fine people
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: on both sides, and now the racist gets to go. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: he's right. That's why all these teachers coming out this
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: one is lady calling on the barbecue, lady calling on
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: the on the water bottle. Now it ain't say it.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: And then they try to say it's had nothing to
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: do with race. If I was a little white girl
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: selling that bottle water, I promise you that lady went
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: to call permit. Pack nothing. You don't need a permit
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: to sell Girl Scout cookies. But they come everywhere and
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: it's okay. Then they come to your door. Dog gets
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: okay that the girls Scouts do that, but they're not
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: required for permanent little girls selling water. What are you
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: talking about? She ain't This ain't all right. On that note,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: We're gonna be back with more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. A bourbon warehouse belonging to a distillery
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: in Bardstown, Kentucky, collapsed on Friday, and it dumped about
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: nine thousand, nine thousand barrels of booze, many of which
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: spilled into a nearby creek and killed hundreds of fish.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: That's a sad part. Yeah, uh swam in the warehouse.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Warehouses owned by Barton Se Distillery was storing eighteen thousand barrels,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: and its owner estimates it lost about half of them.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: The Department of Environmental Protection says much of the barrel's
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: content spilled into nearby waterways, and about eight hundred fish
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: have died as a result. So that much whiskey, can
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: you fry it up? But you can fry up some
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: whiskey bass. The company was eventually able to stop the
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: leak but digging ditches by digging ditches to catch the
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: booze runoff before it entered a creek. The collapsed warehouse
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: is one of twenty nine storage facilities on the distillery's property. Yeah,
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: the fish can't take it because that's alcohol in their loans.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: D ain't ain't them fishing them? Fish was Tommy, they'd
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: be fun amateurs used to it, Like tim fish swam
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: in that whiskey. Got me a nice dip in that.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: You know some of the fish made. Why would you
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: do that? That makes no sense. You can't take that much.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Accuse you ain't never try. Don't judge you, Tommy, don't
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: judge you. Let see Julior what you want this and
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: see Timmy the head alcohol coming out of here. He'll
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: be all right. Gotta swam in it. I got it
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: in a tube at Lisa just floated around it. Yesterday
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: was National Catfish. Today some of that bourbon on your
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: little body parts, I got the news will be swimming
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: in the long Yeah, you let your little Rockefellers hit
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: that alcohol. Understand it, didn't you? Yeah, you just changed
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: that joke. You don't want bourbon and your body. You
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: ain't got subber booty. We had another case of bourbon
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: in the body. Would it sounds like a good idea?
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: And these guys unless you're done, I mean, unless you
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: want to continue talking about bourbon booty, uh crazy, thank
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: you and other new This is sad. Actress Heather Locklear's
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: um downward spiral hit a new low Sunday night when
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: she was arrested at her home for punching a cop
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: who would responded to a call about a domestic disturbance.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: The troubled actress, who just last week was hospitalized for
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: psychological evaluation after reportedly threatening to shoot herself, was locked
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: up on two counts of battery and held on twars bail. Yeah,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: he punched a cop. Yeah sad, YEA very sad. All right,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: coming up, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty three after the hour. You're
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Alright. Antoine Rose, the
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: second the unarmed team who was shot by police last
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: week near Pittsburgh, was laid to rest yesterday. East Pittsburgh
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: police officer Michael Rossfield shot Antoine seventeen. Antoine was seventeen.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: He shot him three times last week as he fled
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: a car stopped by police. Since his death, protesters have
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: marched in downtown Pittsburgh demanding accountability. Several groups shot down
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: highways and intersections across the city during several days of protest.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Um they shut it down, I should say not shut
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: it down. They shut it down. Antoine was a passenger
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: in the car, which authorities suspected of being involved in
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: a shooting earlier in the day. On June nineteen, Alleghany
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: County um Police said the police ordered the driver out
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: of the car and onto the ground. Antoine and another
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: passenger ran from the vehicle, and the East Pittsburgh officer
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: opened fire, striking the teenager. Police said. One witness told
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: authorities it was like he was taking target practice out
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: of this young man's back. He didn't flinch. He didn't
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: say stopped running. He didn't say anything, she said. Officer
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: ross Field has been sworn in. He had been sworn
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: into the East Pittsburgh Police Officers UH police force just
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: hours before the shooting. I had heard this that he
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: was fresh off training and being sworn in, though he
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: had worked with other local departments for seven years. Rose
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Field had been placed on administrative leave. UH. Folks in
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Pittsburgh are demanding justice for Antoine. He's a rookie. To that,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: he was just new to that, to that. They were
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: trying to Antoine's lawyers, trying to get his police records
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: made public. M because they think there's something there. It's
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: really tragic, man, because he said nothing to this kid. No,
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: nothing to this kid, you know, man, I just it's
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: it's so it's so deep seated, this hatred of black
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: people amongst some people in authority. And it's not just
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: the police department, it's in politics. It's like that Fox
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: host that was talking about the kids at the border.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: Those aren't our kids. Wait a minute, man, So because
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: they're not your kids, you can't be sympathetic to a
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: child being separated from their mother. This this this climate
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: that we're in right now. It just allows for people
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: to freely think they can say what they want to say.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: And a lot of it is because there's a man
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: in the White House who said as the things he says,
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: and it's never been more a okay with certain people
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: to come out with their true feelings. Which for me, uh,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: I knew it all along. You know, it's it's it's
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: it's I've known it all along that this has gotten better,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: but it's worse at the same time. So how can
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: you even say that? But I've always known about the
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: undercurrent of racism in this country. It's never I don't
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: see it going away ever. It's too deep seated. Man.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: It's just people think that because of the color of
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: their skin that they have the right to be better
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: than somebody else. And whatever color your skin is, I
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: got news for you. You're not better than somebody because
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: of the color your skin. The fact that you would
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: think that already diminishes your your, your, your, your, your, your,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: your whole ideal. How dare you think you're better than
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: somebody else? In a minute, it will be yeah, alright,
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: Steve coming up closing remarks right after this, You're listening
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we are,

- 1:33:28Speaker 1: to do and some primary runoffs today too as well. Surely. So,
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: like you said, everybody, get out and vote. Y'all want

- 1:33:40Speaker 1: And this has nothing to do with that. But let's
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: not forget bourbon booty. I mean, that's just something you
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: don't forget. Had tried to forget it, but you brought
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: it back up. We'll put some in your button. Come
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: back and tell us what. Yeah, why would anyone do that?

- 1:35:05Speaker 1: and they were trying to save it for another group,

- 1:35:38Speaker 1: we're gonna have a good time. I have a question
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: for you, guys. My closing remarks is I want to
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: ask you something. Do you have something that you want
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: so terribly that living without it would be unacceptable for you? Hm,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: I'm posing a question. Do you have something that you
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: want so terribly that living without it is unacceptable? And
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: in that question, I want to give you this statement.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: Find something in your life that you want so terribly
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: that living without it is unacceptable, That create submission and
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: a purpose for your life that can't be challenged by anybody.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: If it is challenge you, you you you will overcome it.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: I wanted, for example, to find success because I just
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: wanted to be successful in the craft of comedy. That's
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: what I decided I wanted to be successful at because man,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: I was so sick of me. I was so tired
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: of the regular me. I was so tired of not
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: being able to get where I wanted. I was so
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: tired of not accomplishing anything. I was so tired of
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: waking up, going through my day day by day, just
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: living to see what happened. I was so sick of
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: doing something I couldn't stand to do. I was so
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: tired of not being paid what I wanted to earn.
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: I was sick and tired of me. I was sick
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: and decided of the decisions I had made that had
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: gotten me to the position I was in. I was
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: sick of Steve Man. And I began to want something
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: so terribly that living without it was unacceptable. And that
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: thing I wanted I wanted to be successful. I wanted
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: to be successful at something, and the thing I chose
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: to be successful at was comedy. I chose comedy because
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: I happened to be gifted at it. If you can
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: want something so terribly that living without it becomes unacceptable
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: to you, you have now produced a motivation that can
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: see you through the hardships, the challenges, and the setbacks.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: But you gotta want it, though, and you gotta want
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: it with every five or in you. And here's the thing.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: It is okay to want something that bad. I don't care.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: If you want to seek ye the kingdom of Heaven
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: and and not seeing heaven is unacceptable to you, that's
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: perfectly fine. How About if you cannot imagine not taking
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: care of your family the way you want to take
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: care of If that's unacceptable to you, then that's fine.
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: If not living in the neighborhood that you dream of
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: living in is unacceptable to you, and living somewhere else
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: becomes unacceptable to you, ain't nothing wrong with that. If
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: you say to yourself, man, dog on it, I'm gonna
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: be content when I'm making a hundred and fifty thou
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: dollars a year, then get into business of making a
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: d and don't be satisfied till you get there. Won't
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: something so bad, because I'm gonna tell you what's gonna
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: happen When you get that one fifty. You're gonna want
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: another one. You're gonna want another one. It's it's it's
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: human nature. If you get one million dollars, I got
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: news for you, you're gonna want another one because you're
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: gonna start to spend the one you got and if
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: you mess around it all be gone. You're gonna want
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: another one. You gotta want something so bad. If it
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: don't happen, it's absolutely unacceptable. You can't live with it.
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: You're gonna track. Then get on track today. Won't something
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: with everything? And you ain't nothing wrong with it. That's
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: my clothes. Just drop it. Dad guntlet. Y'all have a
