- 0:51Speaker 1: be doing me. Have you gotta use turn be hurting them?
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turnout, got to turn out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come, come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it. I shall will. But good morning everybody, y'all
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:07Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man boy,
- 2:13Speaker 1: God has been good to me. Ma, I can't really
- 2:17Speaker 1: count at all. You can't either, You know, it's all
- 2:20Speaker 1: in perspective. You really can't count all that God has
- 2:23Speaker 1: done for you if you look at every little thing.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. The things He's done for us. How many
- 2:30Speaker 1: times you know we got through something without even talking
- 2:33Speaker 1: to him about it. He just he just blessed us
- 2:36Speaker 1: with it. How many you know? It's just it's so
- 2:39Speaker 1: much that the fact that you wake up in the morning,
- 2:42Speaker 1: the fact that you still have a place to stay,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the fact that you know, may be struggling out here,
- 2:47Speaker 1: but guess what, you're still going to work. You you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you live in check the check, but you're making it all.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You got all the plates spinning. You know, it's hard.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You got a lot of plate spinning, but you keep
- 2:56Speaker 1: him up there somewhere. Every now, I near one break,
- 2:59Speaker 1: but he put two more back up there to look
- 3:00Speaker 1: a little bit better. And you got to get to
- 3:02Speaker 1: spending them so it all works. And then you got
- 3:06Speaker 1: a lot of people who just can't seem to mentally
- 3:10Speaker 1: put it together as to you know, why their life
- 3:15Speaker 1: isn't in a position that they wanted to be. We
- 3:17Speaker 1: talked about this oftentimes, but I don't want to try
- 3:20Speaker 1: another angle with you to day. You know, maybe it's you.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that, Maybe it's you. Maybe
- 3:30Speaker 1: it's no external force that's at fault, like you keep
- 3:34Speaker 1: making the excuse to me. You know so many people
- 3:37Speaker 1: I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this, if
- 3:40Speaker 1: he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have done that,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would have been further along. I wasted all my time,
- 3:46Speaker 1: my years with this man, and he did this, and
- 3:49Speaker 1: I could have been here and I could have been there.
- 3:52Speaker 1: And this woman she did this to me. If she
- 3:54Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I could have been here and
- 3:57Speaker 1: I could have been there. Maybe you, maybe it's not
- 4:02Speaker 1: really that external force that you keep making it out
- 4:06Speaker 1: to be. See, I've done this to myself before. Once again,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I'm talking to you about something I know about. I've
- 4:15Speaker 1: done this to myself before. I've had the reason I
- 4:19Speaker 1: wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it figured
- 4:22Speaker 1: out as some external force. I had worked it out
- 4:27Speaker 1: in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me. Because if so
- 4:32Speaker 1: and so, or if this hadn't happened, and if they
- 4:34Speaker 1: hadn't have done this, I would have been further along
- 4:38Speaker 1: up the road, That's what I was saying. But WOLDO
- 4:41Speaker 1: hold on it? Or I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See,
- 4:46Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:51Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:56Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:14Speaker 1: outside and try that. Try to drive your car, but
- 5:17Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:20Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you looking at in
- 5:24Speaker 1: that rear view mirrors where you're passed or should have passed,
- 5:27Speaker 1: something you should have moved on from. All you're doing
- 5:31Speaker 1: is looking in that rear view mirror at what happened
- 5:33Speaker 1: back there. If you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you're gonna crash your car over and over and over again.
- 5:44Speaker 1: All you got to slow it down so bad in
- 5:49Speaker 1: order for you to keep looking in that rearview mirror.
- 5:53Speaker 1: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:57Speaker 1: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:02Speaker 1: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:07Speaker 1: know it's hard. Man. I watched a show and this
- 6:09Speaker 1: lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive them for that,
- 6:13Speaker 1: or guess what. Guess what God may have already forgiven
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person. That person may be extremely remorseful, could have
- 6:23Speaker 1: gone to God and God and forgiveness for it years ago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But you you sit here and you keep hanging on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to the back. I can't ever forgive that. Then I
- 6:36Speaker 1: heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one time and
- 6:38Speaker 1: say something that really really struggle. You keep drinking the poison,
- 6:44Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. He said that. I
- 6:49Speaker 1: just shook my head and went, Wow, you drinking the poison,
- 6:54Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is poison to you.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You know, if hatred is poison to you. Unforgivingness when
- 7:09Speaker 1: you won't forgive a person, that person could be going
- 7:12Speaker 1: on with their life, made the right with God. Don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life now. You
- 7:18Speaker 1: make adjustments every time you see them. And it takes energy. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it takes so much energy to hate. It takes so
- 7:25Speaker 1: much energy not to forgive too. That ain't come in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the room. You got to avoid them. Stay over here,
- 7:32Speaker 1: Oh here they come. Now, you got to make a
- 7:34Speaker 1: situation over here. They come into the house. It's family reunion.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh here they come. And where they're gonna be in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the basement. I'm going to be on the third floor.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I want to go ahead and get some barbecue. She
- 7:43Speaker 1: out there at the barbecue, staying, Oh lord, I don't
- 7:45Speaker 1: want a barbecue. I just eat to take the salary.
- 7:48Speaker 1: People man take themselves all out of position, trying to
- 7:51Speaker 1: make adjustments when if you it would simplify your life,
- 7:56Speaker 1: if you would let just let it go. Maybe you
- 8:00Speaker 1: ain't where you need to be because of them external
- 8:02Speaker 1: forces altogether. Maybe you're not where you need to be
- 8:06Speaker 1: cause of you, because you won't let it go, you
- 8:11Speaker 1: won't move forward. Look at this, ladies, Let's say you've
- 8:14Speaker 1: been in a situation with him man for years. It
- 8:18Speaker 1: didn't work out. For whatever the reason, it just didn't
- 8:21Speaker 1: work out. I got, I got what you said he did.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I got what he did, I got all of that, YadA,
- 8:27Speaker 1: YadA YadA. When you get through, did not God get
- 8:32Speaker 1: you through it? Did not he allow you to survive it?
- 8:38Speaker 1: I got you, got some cuts on you, I got
- 8:41Speaker 1: you been a little bit bruised. But did he not
- 8:44Speaker 1: get you through it? So now that he's freed you
- 8:48Speaker 1: from it, now he didn't went on. He got a
- 8:50Speaker 1: whole other family over that somewhere. He not. Now he
- 8:53Speaker 1: trying to make it right because maybe he learned the
- 8:55Speaker 1: mistake he made and now he trying to be a
- 8:57Speaker 1: better man. He just trying to get it right now.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But you're sitting there holding on to it. You're drinking
- 9:03Speaker 1: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. So now,
- 9:06Speaker 1: instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally being free
- 9:09Speaker 1: from a situation that was not healthy for you, you
- 9:12Speaker 1: create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind by hating,
- 9:17Speaker 1: by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall on his face.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Maybe you're even doing something to the other situation to
- 9:25Speaker 1: make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're drinking the poison,
- 9:29Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe you ain't where
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ought to be in life, not because of your
- 9:34Speaker 1: external forces, but maybe it's you. If you don't let
- 9:40Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You can't keep driving your car looking in the rear
- 9:46Speaker 1: view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is not for the
- 9:52Speaker 1: other person. Forgiveness is for you. Bishop Jake's got a
- 9:58Speaker 1: book out man called let It I'm telling you read
- 10:01Speaker 1: this book. It'll help youself. It's not just for people
- 10:04Speaker 1: who who are angry. This is for people, man, who
- 10:07Speaker 1: don't even know the little things you hold it on too.
- 10:10Speaker 1: You don't even know the name of the book is
- 10:12Speaker 1: let it Go. Man. I had to read it and go, wow, Man,
- 10:15Speaker 1: I had really had to check myself all that I
- 10:17Speaker 1: know about this thing called life and trying to succeed.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I still need refreshing courses and remind us every now
- 10:24Speaker 1: and then. Maybe hold on, man. Maybe you've been sometimes man,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it's just you holding on to a business practice too long.
- 10:32Speaker 1: You know. I had to catch myself. You know, I
- 10:35Speaker 1: said a thousand times, if you keep doing what you've
- 10:37Speaker 1: been doing, you're gonna keep getting what you've been getting.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Maybe you need to change your business practice. Maybe it's
- 10:42Speaker 1: the way you've been doing a certain thing. You just
- 10:45Speaker 1: got to let that go, because if you let it go,
- 10:49Speaker 1: it frees you up to goal. It's hard to get
- 10:52Speaker 1: to the next level with all that baggage. Steve Harvey
- 10:55Speaker 1: Morning Show. Yep, you're listening to show, and ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:04Speaker 1: this is so Steve Harvey Morning Show, Live Living Color.

- 11:15Speaker 1: Color without as many characters, and to be honest with you,
- 11:20Speaker 1: ain't as funny as that was either. But his damn

- 12:05Speaker 1: or eight times, fifteen times in a row. He said, yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 1: you said fifteen times. And people thought, you know, they
- 12:12Speaker 1: were wondering if you guys were okay, And I was
- 12:14Speaker 1: telling him, yeah, they're okay. That's just how they talked
- 12:17Speaker 1: to each other. Yes, they're you and Hunt. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 1: They were saying, is everything okay? Is everything okay? Well,

- 13:07Speaker 1: let me, let me, let me, let me click over.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I said, Junior, y'all hang your phone up. Man, Hey,
- 13:15Speaker 1: all right, let your new take over for here. Steve, Yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's what said. What do you want? I was like, well,
- 13:26Speaker 1: why you keep calling? I'm talking to my wife. Oh
- 13:29Speaker 1: what was she doing? That was my favorite? Wow, he
- 13:35Speaker 1: wanted to be regular. I'm trying to be his regular
- 13:37Speaker 1: free right right. So one time he sent me the voicemail.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Oh I got mad. Oh no you didn't. Oh no,
- 13:46Speaker 1: Harvey didn't. He clearly hid in. I know because that
- 13:51Speaker 1: last started talking. I don't understand what she's saying. Oh,
- 13:54Speaker 1: he don't have no voicemail. But he sent me held
- 13:56Speaker 1: not a call. Oh he did that. But then he
- 13:59Speaker 1: got on the phone. He was highly upset, and I
- 14:01Speaker 1: didn't understand why. You just wanted to come over and
- 14:04Speaker 1: watch just watch the game with me at your apartment.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Let me come over there. But you're no good hand.
- 14:10Speaker 1: When I'm coming over this house, I can't pull up
- 14:14Speaker 1: in my cars at his house. This is my other
- 14:16Speaker 1: favorite party. I'm coming over to his house. Drive to
- 14:23Speaker 1: Junior house. Nothing you have will fit at my house.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Up don't. Now, I'm going up some steps and somebody
- 14:30Speaker 1: opened the door. Oh hey, hang on, we'll come back
- 14:37Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour, right after this, smart,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I'm Junior and Steve. You're listening, all right, listen. So
- 14:47Speaker 1: when we left up we were revisiting this what happened
- 14:50Speaker 1: to Junior and and Steve over the weekend. The phone calls,
- 14:54Speaker 1: we'll just call it the phone call. It's just a
- 14:56Speaker 1: phone call, phone gate, phone gate, Yeah, on gate. But
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't understand why I feel like he can't come
- 15:04Speaker 1: over my place. Okay, because he's famous, Steve Party. Hello,
- 15:10Speaker 1: Let's start there. Then. Where you live, Jennie, I don't
- 15:15Speaker 1: know's you don't make it good money, but you know
- 15:22Speaker 1: you live in an apartment. It's a loft. I gotta
- 15:27Speaker 1: upstand and downstairs. You would like it. It's very nice, Okay,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I believe that je do'sn't not a sound nice? Now
- 15:36Speaker 1: when I pull up, where do I pause? In the
- 15:39Speaker 1: park and on the street? Yeah? Or in the visage
- 15:47Speaker 1: on the street. Yeah, I ain't got no parkis by.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I got walk from me, but the street like everybody.
- 15:56Speaker 1: So if it ain't no parks by in front of
- 15:59Speaker 1: your partment wild part. Okay, let me ask you this
- 16:02Speaker 1: right here. I know this gonna sound bullishy if I
- 16:05Speaker 1: just want to ask this question. Oh, y'all ain't guts
- 16:08Speaker 1: valet at my place? You know, so you too rich
- 16:18Speaker 1: to visit? You can't even Yes, ye, rich people don't
- 16:22Speaker 1: have free Well, Junior was doing this to help you.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Steve you what you said? What did he say? He
- 16:30Speaker 1: won't be regless sometimes? But that I didn't ask him
- 16:38Speaker 1: for that. That's what Junior failed to realize. I really
- 16:42Speaker 1: do like enjoy being by myself because I very rarely
- 16:48Speaker 1: get that. My girl out of town, so when I
- 16:51Speaker 1: come home, you know, I actually can be in peace.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I wish she was home because when I when she's home,
- 16:58Speaker 1: she don't bother me because you know, she said, you
- 17:01Speaker 1: know what, because because she says, she said, okay, my
- 17:04Speaker 1: man been talking all that. So I wait till in
- 17:07Speaker 1: the morning when we're having coffee and we have our
- 17:09Speaker 1: daily talks every day having but at night, I'm gonna
- 17:13Speaker 1: let this man just be quiet, watch his TV, go
- 17:16Speaker 1: to bed. When he ain't go to bed, she'd give
- 17:18Speaker 1: me that. So Friday night, I was off, but I'm
- 17:22Speaker 1: talking to my wife because when she's out the country.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I can't tell I ain't talking to her tonight. I
- 17:29Speaker 1: can't say that. Oh oh oh oh, so you don't
- 17:33Speaker 1: care what's happening to me and your other and your daughter. Okay,
- 17:41Speaker 1: so you know what I mean. So that's for it. Yeah,
- 17:44Speaker 1: that's you know. So I guess I had to put
- 17:47Speaker 1: the wings back up. Yeah, I was gonna wait a minute,
- 17:58Speaker 1: how do you cooking me? How you cool? This was
- 18:01Speaker 1: me high cook them. I see them up and I
- 18:03Speaker 1: put them in the up and wait for them to
- 18:05Speaker 1: get done. But since that's too much for you, my
- 18:09Speaker 1: little book, my wings. So we're just sitting around waiting
- 18:13Speaker 1: on the wings and get down chips and stuff. The
- 18:17Speaker 1: TV a nice size and see the gate. It ain't
- 18:19Speaker 1: your projective, but it is a nice sash TV. Well
- 18:24Speaker 1: last how you looked at it? Fift you one in?
- 18:28Speaker 1: But the last time all the time. Yeah, I love
- 18:41Speaker 1: to do share to call it. I'm gonna do. I'm
- 18:43Speaker 1: gonna have these events I called kard craziest up to
- 18:46Speaker 1: regular people. Do yes, yes, watch ride me down to
- 18:49Speaker 1: the post office. Why you can't junior Ji, Hey, Julie,
- 18:55Speaker 1: don't do that. Don't ride down man, I ain't regular, Julia.
- 19:03Speaker 1: You ain't gonna understand my response video with hey Junior
- 19:09Speaker 1: to date. Man, let me say this today. I had
- 19:11Speaker 1: to make a wish girl on the show. She was
- 19:14Speaker 1: fifteen years old. Man. I called you Julie because she
- 19:18Speaker 1: she had sickle cell and I wanted her to meet you.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Oh man, yo, man? Was she upbeat? Yeah? Man? Oh
- 19:28Speaker 1: she was together. She cried, you know, because I was
- 19:31Speaker 1: her make a wish that right, man, awesome up. She
- 19:35Speaker 1: wants to be a fashion designer. Man, you should have

- 19:52Speaker 1: hood came up? Yeah? Yeah, yeah she probably you did
- 20:00Speaker 1: you catch that? Yes? Yes, all day? Yeah. He got
- 20:07Speaker 1: sentimental and the hen. Yeah, that's what he does. He's
- 20:16Speaker 1: been biting him over. He gonna come out. He gonna
- 20:18Speaker 1: show up sooner later. Just it just funny. I get
- 20:22Speaker 1: I get Cliff to bring me one time, yeah, to
- 20:25Speaker 1: be nice in his car. So we park on the
- 20:30Speaker 1: street and you ain't got a truck. I really need
- 20:37Speaker 1: to come back to regular, you really do. Just try
- 20:40Speaker 1: just one thing? Yeah, you real, Hollywood right now? Really,
- 20:45Speaker 1: it's all good. I don't care. Be funny. Y'all really
- 20:49Speaker 1: need to come on over him. And I'm not mad
- 20:52Speaker 1: at that exactly. I always come over him. But I
- 20:56Speaker 1: love going on I know right, yes, yes, yeah, you
- 21:01Speaker 1: any of great parties and doing yeah, just him, he
- 21:06Speaker 1: showing you something I don't. Just watched it and he
- 21:08Speaker 1: hit a button and I saw everything in the room moved.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I've never seen TVs come about to float? Why they
- 21:14Speaker 1: do that? They got a Halloween card? What y'all got
- 21:18Speaker 1: going on for Easter? Man? What every holiday? They got
- 21:23Speaker 1: something there? Y'all? What y'all got this? Me? No? Uh? No? Man,
- 21:28Speaker 1: my wife out of town, so she didn't charge y'all
- 21:32Speaker 1: that so h So don't none of the kids or
- 21:35Speaker 1: grand babies come visit? Huh? When? When? When ain't Margre gone?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Don't nobody even food with you? When? No dog? They
- 21:42Speaker 1: don't even come by him? Man, I ain't heard nobody
- 21:44Speaker 1: since she'd been gone. Y'all All right, look, we gotta
- 21:48Speaker 1: get out of there. Just don't call me hey coming out?

- 28:35Speaker 1: tell me that I can't have my money back and
- 28:37Speaker 1: you can't get my frigerate on your own time, sir. Listen,
- 28:41Speaker 1: there's one more thing I need to I ain't to
- 28:43Speaker 1: say to me because okay, but I have one more
- 28:47Speaker 1: thing I need to tell you. Okay, are you listening?
- 28:48Speaker 1: This will probably help everything. This is Nephew Timmy from
- 28:52Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey More to show you just got pranked
- 28:54Speaker 1: by your wife. You know what I'm gonna fix er,
- 29:05Speaker 1: That's what I want. I'm time that they happen to y'all. Yeah,
- 29:17Speaker 1: they keep moving it winden, Well they moved it wind Yeah,
- 29:23Speaker 1: when they moved the window. You know when you supposed
- 29:25Speaker 1: to come between a certain time. When they keep moving
- 29:28Speaker 1: it back when they moved what is we keep saying window?
- 29:33Speaker 1: Because no, he ain't said when he said, yeah, the
- 29:41Speaker 1: winding created y'all know what I'm talking about, Step was
- 29:49Speaker 1: stupid shirt. Listen coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Entertainment news that's coming up right after this. You're listening
- 29:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show and Entertainment News. Former NFL player
- 30:04Speaker 1: Reggie Bush announced a legacy fund for the late rapper
- 30:07Speaker 1: Nipsey Hustle. Reggie and his wife revealed via Twitter that
- 30:11Speaker 1: they had started a go fund Me page for Nipsey's
- 30:14Speaker 1: two children and encouraged others to help them reach their
- 30:17Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars goal. One problem, neither Lauren London
- 30:22Speaker 1: nor the family approved. Reggie got a fit of a
- 30:26Speaker 1: got a lot of backlash on this, so he deleted
- 30:29Speaker 1: the campaign page and tweeted the following and tweeted the
- 30:34Speaker 1: following backlash um. He posted a long IG message to
- 30:39Speaker 1: ensure them that he had no ill intentions and he
- 30:42Speaker 1: was never told he couldn't launch the fund. He said,
- 30:45Speaker 1: I must defend myself here. This is beyond me. I
- 30:49Speaker 1: have absolutely nothing to gain from this. Yeah, I believe
- 30:56Speaker 1: him making it out to goodness of his heart. And
- 31:00Speaker 1: then when the family didn't know, I didn't but I
- 31:03Speaker 1: probably wouldn't have known it. Well, somebody on my team
- 31:05Speaker 1: would researcher, but I wouldn't have known if I was
- 31:08Speaker 1: going to do some kind for someone that I had
- 31:11Speaker 1: to ask him could I do it? But if he
- 31:13Speaker 1: started to go fund me pain but then, yeah, you
- 31:15Speaker 1: know you got that because there's so much going on
- 31:17Speaker 1: around me, right, But I really don't think that Reggie
- 31:20Speaker 1: Bush would do something like that at all. I think
- 31:23Speaker 1: he was genuinely trying to help it. Yeah, I'm sure
- 31:26Speaker 1: he's never heard, right, right, No, man, you see it, hey, man,
- 31:30Speaker 1: his solid guy for what I know, you know, for
- 31:33Speaker 1: him and his wife to get involved like that, they
- 31:35Speaker 1: were really trying to do something for the man's children, right, yeah, right,
- 31:39Speaker 1: and maybe he'll be able to work with the family.
- 31:41Speaker 1: And then they now, is it is it's the Lord
- 31:43Speaker 1: London's family that's upset. Well, it's Lorn London or Nipsy's
- 31:48Speaker 1: and Nipsey's family, Okay, yeah, yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure
- 31:54Speaker 1: he didn't mean it. He's a good guy. Yeah. And
- 31:56Speaker 1: then other entertainment news, the hip hop community is calling
- 31:59Speaker 1: for the firing of Fox News host Laura Ingram following
- 32:03Speaker 1: some disrespectful comments made in the wake of Nipsey's death.
- 32:07Speaker 1: During Friday show, Ingram aired a segment about Nipsey following
- 32:12Speaker 1: his memorial service. Take a listen, release a song called
- 32:15Speaker 1: f dt F Donald Trump Trump Trump Trump true Trump. Okay,
- 32:32Speaker 1: Now that's a very creative, very catchy, very is It
- 32:39Speaker 1: all began and ended with irving Rill un for you
- 32:41Speaker 1: didn't um so the refrain, the chorus, it goes on
- 32:45Speaker 1: and on. Is that related to the lowest unemployment ever
- 32:49Speaker 1: basically for African America? No, for those who might not
- 32:52Speaker 1: remember seventies because come on, now, howd y hustle? Okay,
- 32:58Speaker 1: first of all, it was Hip Squares that's a and
- 33:01Speaker 1: then this song is by YG It was released about
- 33:05Speaker 1: three years ago. Nipsey was featured on the song Okay
- 33:09Speaker 1: behind the Times. Yeah you know research this woman gets
- 33:17Speaker 1: away with more stuff. Yeah, yeah, number one because of
- 33:23Speaker 1: her appearance and number two because she's on Fox, so
- 33:29Speaker 1: she gets away with them. But I'm gonna tell you
- 33:31Speaker 1: what would have to happen. They don't give a damn
- 33:34Speaker 1: what Ti and Snoop saying. Pi tank the game and
- 33:39Speaker 1: Snoop those are the ones that they could care less
- 33:43Speaker 1: because that's not their world. Sponsors don't care. They have
- 33:47Speaker 1: to get some uproar from somebody else. And I mean,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I appreciate the brothers and I think that correct, but
- 33:54Speaker 1: they got to get to rally and craft from from
- 33:56Speaker 1: other points. If that's going to be the point of attack,
- 33:59Speaker 1: that's right, you know, because they're not going to listen
- 34:02Speaker 1: to that. Now, if our Shopton was calling down there,
- 34:05Speaker 1: you know, they'd have to take a different view. But
- 34:09Speaker 1: I think these brothers are influential enough. Snoop and Ti
- 34:15Speaker 1: are influential enough to move the needle in the direction,
- 34:19Speaker 1: but amongst us, I do not know that they will
- 34:22Speaker 1: affect Fox. We're gonna move on, switch gears and go
- 34:27Speaker 1: to miss Anne Steve, Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne. Thank
- 34:31Speaker 1: you very much, everybody. This is a trip with the news. Okay,
- 34:34Speaker 1: let's start the big story yesterday, of course, with the
- 34:37Speaker 1: fire at Notre Dame. The fire is finally out at
- 34:40Speaker 1: that cathedral and the French president is vowing to rebuild it.
- 34:43Speaker 1: A national fundraising effort is getting underway as a matter
- 34:45Speaker 1: of fact, because it's going to cost a lot, a
- 34:47Speaker 1: lot of money to rebuild that part of North Dam.
- 34:50Speaker 1: As a fire erupted yesterday inside a part of the
- 34:53Speaker 1: eight hundred and fifty year old cathedral, hundreds of firefighters
- 34:56Speaker 1: were to contain to end the blaze as many Parisians
- 35:00Speaker 1: three recited prayers and they also they also sang hymns.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Sparks was still falling in the building last night, hours
- 35:08Speaker 1: after the iconic spayer caught fire and collapsed. The blaze
- 35:12Speaker 1: caused extensive damage to the structure, which over the years
- 35:15Speaker 1: had survived world wars and other natural disasters. Officials say
- 35:19Speaker 1: though that while Notre Dame suffered some serious damage that
- 35:22Speaker 1: some of the invaluable artwork and religious relics were safely removed,
- 35:25Speaker 1: So that's good anyway. The Justice Department says it will
- 35:28Speaker 1: release the full Muller Report and Russell and meddling in
- 35:31Speaker 1: the twenty sixteen election on Thursday, full, but with a
- 35:34Speaker 1: lot of parts redacted or blacked out. Democrats, along with
- 35:38Speaker 1: some of the investigators who worked on the report, accused
- 35:41Speaker 1: Donald Trump's Attorney General William Barr, of playing down the
- 35:44Speaker 1: findings of the two year probe. Donald Trump, Meanwhile, he's
- 35:47Speaker 1: got a challenger, Yes, a challenger. Massachusetts Republican William Weld
- 35:52Speaker 1: is challenging Trump for the GOP presidential nod in twenty twenty.
- 35:56Speaker 1: He says he feels that if he doesn't, that we
- 35:58Speaker 1: can't the country cannot afford it any more of this
- 36:00Speaker 1: president and as something has to be done, and he
- 36:02Speaker 1: says he fears for the Republican Party. Okay, most more
- 36:06Speaker 1: House College get this. More House, the legendary all male,
- 36:09Speaker 1: historically black school in Atlanta, has announced that it's going
- 36:12Speaker 1: to be opening its enrollment to transgender men, which is
- 36:15Speaker 1: to say, anyone who identifies as a man more House
- 36:18Speaker 1: is not the first all male institution in the country
- 36:21Speaker 1: to do this. Three years ago, an institution in Collegeville, Minnesota,
- 36:24Speaker 1: Saint John's University, also an all male school, changed its
- 36:27Speaker 1: policy to allow transgender men to enroll as well. No
- 36:31Speaker 1: real surprise, Sunday Night's final season premiere of Game of
- 36:35Speaker 1: Throne snagged a record number of viewers seventeen and a
- 36:37Speaker 1: half million, making it the biggest telecast in HBO history
- 36:41Speaker 1: and the most watched scripted entertainment program of the year.
- 36:45Speaker 1: And finally, looks like Tiger Woods is about to receive
- 36:48Speaker 1: a great honor since now we're winning that fifth Master's tournament.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Apparently the trump the President is going to give him
- 36:54Speaker 1: the Medal of Freedom. Reminds me of a movie you
- 36:58Speaker 1: play goal Thoo thoo. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 37:05Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to show. Well, Steve, this was
- 37:11Speaker 1: really sad news about the Notre Dame Famed cathedral fire yesterday.
- 37:16Speaker 1: We all saw on the news pictures and videos of
- 37:18Speaker 1: the flames, the smoke, and then the cathedral cathedral's iconic
- 37:22Speaker 1: spiral spire collapsing. The spire destroyed contained artifacts sacred to
- 37:29Speaker 1: Catholics and Christians, including this really touched my heart, including
- 37:34Speaker 1: a relic believed to be from Jesus's Crown of thrones.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Uh yeah, French President. Yeah. French President McCrone thanked the
- 37:42Speaker 1: hundreds of firefighters for showing extreme courage. He also told
- 37:46Speaker 1: the world we will rebuild the cathedral. Also, NBC News
- 37:50Speaker 1: is reporting that Notre Dame structure has been saved from
- 37:53Speaker 1: total destruction and miraculously the interior is still standing, thank
- 37:59Speaker 1: the Lord. Yeah. Oh you say the interior. Yeah, the
- 38:02Speaker 1: interior is still standing. Yeah yeah, yeah, that's where everything was, right, Yeah,
- 38:09Speaker 1: and I think the roof and they were doing some
- 38:11Speaker 1: construction over there. What is the spiral that you talked about?
- 38:15Speaker 1: Fire was the tall like steeple Okay, you know what
- 38:24Speaker 1: I'm talking about. So the interior was kept, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: so build Yeah, it's just a building. You can fix,
- 38:32Speaker 1: you Yeah, but you can fix that. I didn't see
- 38:34Speaker 1: it at all because I was working, But you know
- 38:37Speaker 1: they can fix that. It's the stuff on the inside, yeah,
- 38:41Speaker 1: that you cannot replace. Yeah yeah, yeah. Yeah. It's the world.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I mean, you know, Notre Dame, that's one of the
- 38:50Speaker 1: world's treasures. I mean, yeah, we um history. Yeah, we
- 38:55Speaker 1: visit that first time. We last year. Last year the
- 38:59Speaker 1: girls did. We took a tour and we went pasted
- 39:03Speaker 1: it and saw it and everything. You know how it
- 39:06Speaker 1: was before the fire, uh yesterday, but yeah, we did
- 39:10Speaker 1: get a chance to see it. Carla wanted to go
- 39:13Speaker 1: and she said, come on, I'm paying. I'm paying. So
- 39:15Speaker 1: we got on the bus and took the tour around.
- 39:18Speaker 1: I am shamed she got to pay for y'all paying
- 39:22Speaker 1: that way. We do know, Shirley, what she didn't have
- 39:25Speaker 1: to pay. She offered to shame. You don't not to
- 39:32Speaker 1: you men know, just Latest, Shirless, it's not true. That
- 39:38Speaker 1: is so natural. Man. Latest stepped up and said, wait
- 39:41Speaker 1: a minute, she pays. That's not true. Waiting for somebody
- 39:47Speaker 1: to come back. Not true. That is so not true.

- 43:06Speaker 1: like too. Well, at least celery crunch. You you can
- 43:09Speaker 1: put that in the soup and taste. You put boxed

- 43:40Speaker 1: How many? You know how many bassing moments? But what
- 43:43Speaker 1: sticks out the most? Though mostly embarrassed? Uh? That time
- 43:50Speaker 1: my brother told me and they o my nephew who's
- 43:52Speaker 1: a month older than me. My daddy had a cat
- 43:55Speaker 1: strap he should give us whoopers with, and he hung
- 43:58Speaker 1: it on a nail on the door frame. My brothers
- 44:03Speaker 1: told us if we painted it the same color as
- 44:07Speaker 1: a dol frame, he wouldn't see it. And on my ass,
- 44:10Speaker 1: stupid ass took that cat strap out there and painted
- 44:13Speaker 1: it white and hung it back on the hook. About
- 44:19Speaker 1: three days later, of course, you know it's time for ass.
- 44:26Speaker 1: He looked up there and win, who the hem painted this?
- 44:29Speaker 1: Cast me? And they are trying to figure out to
- 44:33Speaker 1: here see that? My brother said they wasn't gonna see it,
- 44:39Speaker 1: and then my brother that'stime. Man, who the here would
- 44:41Speaker 1: paint this cat strap? You told us to man? All right, Steve,
- 44:52Speaker 1: here's one for you. What what supply in your house
- 44:55Speaker 1: is running low right now? Doesn't? Oh? Yeah? Oh really
- 45:03Speaker 1: because I'm the only one drinking. Oh okay, I know
- 45:07Speaker 1: it's low because I used damn near the last of
- 45:09Speaker 1: it this morning. So it's all right, Royan, I don't
- 45:14Speaker 1: even know what detergent. All right, I'm next to this
- 45:18Speaker 1: with a grant phone call coming up right after this.
- 45:22Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 45:27Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 45:30Speaker 1: It's my Strawberry letter for today's subject, I'd rather say
- 45:33Speaker 1: I don't instead of I do. But right now, nephew
- 45:38Speaker 1: Tommy is here with today's prank phone call. What you
- 45:40Speaker 1: got now? Well, Charla, we all been there before. We've

- 45:47Speaker 1: and you know, we get ahead of ourselves and we've
- 45:50Speaker 1: all had this one line that we've said to somebody
- 45:55Speaker 1: in the house, can you bring me some paper? Can't
- 46:02Speaker 1: you bring me some paper? Am I the only one
- 46:07Speaker 1: in that man? You know? Sometimes sometimes call the people,
- 46:12Speaker 1: don't check they do. Sometimes you run in there a Harry.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Sometimes you don't know when you feeling, when you realize
- 46:19Speaker 1: that it's got that last little two sheets on that
- 46:22Speaker 1: that stuck to that card board, saying no, I tell
- 46:30Speaker 1: you right now, boy, they're gonna play Frank for that.

- 52:59Speaker 1: I'm talking about the bad this radio show with the
- 53:01Speaker 1: lad the Steve Harvest Show, y'all played practical joke. So
- 53:05Speaker 1: folks man, we all been there before. What ye you've
- 53:15Speaker 1: been there so long you just ain't got numb? Yeah? Yeah,
- 53:19Speaker 1: he let me ask you this right here. You ever
- 53:21Speaker 1: been over somebody's house? Oh? I was over girl house
- 53:26Speaker 1: one time. That story ain't have numbered a little two
- 53:31Speaker 1: sheets of paper on that roll left, and I knew
- 53:33Speaker 1: that wasn't enough. You ever took the roll off and
- 53:37Speaker 1: got your fingernail up under the corner, started peeling it
- 53:40Speaker 1: off in the layouts? Yeah? Yeah, I didn't use the
- 53:44Speaker 1: roll before. Yeah. Yeah, if you get your thumb up
- 53:50Speaker 1: on the you can peel it off like biscuit paper. Yeah,
- 53:56Speaker 1: hungry jack biscuit. Yeah, you peel it off and it
- 53:59Speaker 1: go around it in then you peel it again. Even

- 55:06Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you. Here. It is
- 55:08Speaker 1: the strong very letter. Thank you. If you listen, it
- 55:12Speaker 1: says I'd rather say I don't instead if I do.
- 55:16Speaker 1: That is the subject. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm getting married
- 55:20Speaker 1: soon and I do love my fiance with all my heart,
- 55:23Speaker 1: but there are some things that I really do not
- 55:25Speaker 1: like about him. I'm hoping that I'm just overthinking things
- 55:29Speaker 1: and I can get over them before our wedding. I'm
- 55:33Speaker 1: sure I do a lot of stuff that irritates him
- 55:35Speaker 1: and maybe even turns him off, but he has never
- 55:38Speaker 1: said anything. My fiance and I were raised differently, so
- 55:43Speaker 1: I have had to tell him the dudes and don't
- 55:45Speaker 1: seen a lot of things like manners, communication, respecting other space, etc.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I've had quite a few conversations with him about his
- 55:55Speaker 1: behavior that turned me off. For instance, he has a
- 55:59Speaker 1: full grown beer. He has grown a full beard lately,
- 56:02Speaker 1: and I don't like it because he never grooms it
- 56:06Speaker 1: and sometimes has food or lint in it. I can't
- 56:10Speaker 1: see his lips, and when we kiss, it's scratchy. He
- 56:14Speaker 1: also has a little nagging cough, like he always has
- 56:17Speaker 1: a cold, but he does not. He belches loudly wherever
- 56:23Speaker 1: we are and says there's more room out than in
- 56:27Speaker 1: to excuse his lack of manners. When we're home. He
- 56:30Speaker 1: has no respect for my personal space and he would
- 56:33Speaker 1: always walk in on me in the bathroom, so I've
- 56:36Speaker 1: had to lock myself in there. He uses my washcloth
- 56:41Speaker 1: and my towel and doesn't understand how nasty that is.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Whether we are in love or not, his behavior really
- 56:48Speaker 1: grosses me out, and I'm having second thoughts about living
- 56:51Speaker 1: with someone that doesn't understand how irritating he is. I'm
- 56:55Speaker 1: sick of telling him the same thing. Should I postpone
- 56:58Speaker 1: the wedding until he can pull it together? Or am
- 57:01Speaker 1: I just overreacting? What should I do? Oh? Oh, all right?
- 57:07Speaker 1: First of all, manners, I mean it's hard to teach
- 57:10Speaker 1: a grown person manners. I mean those are manners are
- 57:13Speaker 1: things you learn when you're children, and stuff you know
- 57:15Speaker 1: from your parents, things like that this letter is nasty.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I mean, no, you're not overreacting. This is a man
- 57:24Speaker 1: who is who he is, and this is going on
- 57:26Speaker 1: before you get married. So please be clear that you
- 57:30Speaker 1: can't change a man. I mean, so please don't be
- 57:33Speaker 1: marrying him thinking that you know you're going to be
- 57:36Speaker 1: able to change him. You've told him and he's still
- 57:38Speaker 1: doing the same things. I mean, using your towels and
- 57:42Speaker 1: not keeping his beard groomed, and you know, Belgian, all
- 57:47Speaker 1: of what's he doing. So, I mean, you know a
- 57:56Speaker 1: lot of women marry a man and they think after
- 57:58Speaker 1: the fact of if there are things that they don't
- 58:01Speaker 1: like before that once they get married they'll change. That's
- 58:04Speaker 1: not the case. And a lot of women think that.
- 58:06Speaker 1: But you can't change a man. He'll only change if
- 58:08Speaker 1: he wants to do it for you. I mean, Steve
- 58:10Speaker 1: says that all the time. And I think cleanliness and
- 58:13Speaker 1: good hygiene and good manners, all that kind of stuff,
- 58:16Speaker 1: Especially cleanliness and good hygiene, those are deal breakers for
- 58:19Speaker 1: most people. Uh most people, they are, so, yes, I
- 58:23Speaker 1: do think you should postpone the wedding at the very
- 58:25Speaker 1: least until you guys can come to some sort of
- 58:28Speaker 1: agreement here, work something out, because this is just going
- 58:32Speaker 1: to build when you get married and build. It's always
- 58:35Speaker 1: those little things that you know, make you definitely want
- 58:38Speaker 1: to say I don't instead of I do. Steve, Wow,
- 58:46Speaker 1: they are proud. Oh no, tell him. I'm struggling with
- 58:49Speaker 1: this man, I want to I don't know what to hell,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to find it, but right now I'm
- 58:57Speaker 1: you know, let's go at the beginning. I rather say
- 59:00Speaker 1: I don't instead out I do. Man, what is we
- 59:03Speaker 1: talking about? I do? Fo here just gonna say I don't.
- 59:08Speaker 1: If you would rather say I don't than I do,
- 59:10Speaker 1: then why the hell is we discussing? I do, I'm
- 59:14Speaker 1: getting married soon. I do love my fiance with all
- 59:18Speaker 1: my heart. What's some things I really don't like about it?
- 59:21Speaker 1: I hope I'm just overthinking things. I can't get over
- 59:26Speaker 1: him before I wed. Now, she said, I do a
- 59:28Speaker 1: lot of stuff. I'm pretty sure it irritates him. But
- 59:32Speaker 1: he ain't say nothing to me about it because y'all
- 59:35Speaker 1: was raised different. So you say, so you gotta talk
- 59:38Speaker 1: to him all the damn time. So you're talking too much.
- 59:41Speaker 1: There's a lot of conversations about some basics, you know,
- 59:45Speaker 1: simple stuff like manners, respecting other space, communication. So you
- 59:51Speaker 1: had a bunch of conversation with this man. Now let's
- 59:54Speaker 1: get into what's wrong. For example, he didn't grown a
- 59:58Speaker 1: full bid later, and I don't like it because he
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: don't groom it. You know what does mean? You don't
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: coom it, he don't brush it, he donna pick it.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: He's just on his face. It's just how on his face.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: He'd be sitting up that thinking with his head in
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: his hand. But it being a hell getting mashed up.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: He got it mattic down. It looked like a corn
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: road and looked like dredge it looked like it ain't picked.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: It look unkept. And then on top of all that,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: sometime he's got food in it. Naw, yeah, damn. What
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you're not been to do? And sit over here and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: talk to me with this egg? Your dog? You're gonna
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: stop talking? Hey, hey, pardon, hey, hey, you got chicken
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: in your beard. We just sitting here. Took a man.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Get that damn gravy off your down, man, dog, Hey, dog, dog, dog,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: wipe your mouth. You gotta around your mouth. Now it's
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: in your bed. Now he got lit in it. Yeah,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: just been in here, just got paper, tile and cotton
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: all on him. Look like he looked he was coming
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: through a cotton file trying to get to the north.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Now he just standing there looking crazy. Yeah. I've had
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: all these conversations with him, and then he don't ever glooming,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: and then sometimes not only food and lit it. I
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: can't see his lips when we kiss. I don't know
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: how long you can look at the limp fold you
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: end up kissing knowing how that disappeared on it. You know,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: when you move in forward kissing at one point where
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you can't see the lips, but but you can't see
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: his lips and it scratch it. Yeah, now he go
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: to park. That scare me a little bit. He got
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a little nag and cough like he had got a cold,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: but he ain't got no cold. Well, what the hell
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: he got? Well? See now we need to talk about
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: this hill. He got a nagging cough like he ain't
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: like he got a cold, but he ain't got a cold.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: That's why we're not getting married. I don't know what
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: this unknown ass disease? You not what the hell we
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: gonna find out? We'll all give a damn about all
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the food in your face. I'm trying to figure out
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: what hell you coughing? Phone? Don'tbody know what it needs?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: All right? Hang on, Steve, hang on. We'll have part
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three after
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the hour. Subject of today's strawberry letter. I'd rather say
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I don't instead of I do. We'll get back into
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, All right, Steve,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Let's recap today's strawberry letter. I'd rather say I don't
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: instead of I do, So then don't, yeah, because right
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: now this letters a mess. She had loaded his fiance
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: she really loved with all is hard and she does
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: some things since they aggravating this want. But she says
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: she thinks she do some stuff that's aggravating him too.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I got ready to say, I bet you do, but
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: then you started describing the pigs. That's wrong and one
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: of the things you don't like A just new beard
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: he didn't grow because he don't grow, brushing it in,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: combing it, you know, on shampoo, and he don't order.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: It's just hell on his Damn No, we don't know
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: what this looking. If it's madd at, I don't know
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: if he'd upbraided it. What should Can I just say?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: You had a beard recently you cut it off. It
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: looked great. You took very good care of your beer
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: every well, yes, kept all shampoo. Everything. That ain't what
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: he doing. We wouldn't even have this letter exactly. This
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: food got lit and food in its saucy cheese. He
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: just walk around. Damn del damn it sent up here
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: talking all you can see your food falling out this
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: damn bid he didn't got now that all that's funky,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: but hit a part that threw me off. Can't see
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: his lips any kids and scratches. But he has a
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: little nagging, cough like he always has a cold, but
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: he does not. You cough like you got a cold,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: but it ain't a colt. What the hell is you man?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: His sick ain't and you don't know what the hell
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: he got. You need to get some blood work. It's
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: what you need to get. Damn a shade. You need
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: some damn blood work. You need somebody to look at it.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: He benches loudly. Wherever we are, says, is more room
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: out than in damn that belch when we home. He's
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: got no respect from my person's face. He walked in
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: on me when I'm in the bath room like you don't. Yes,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: she has sitting up there with the damn door opening.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: He gonna walk in, Hey baby, hey baby, hell you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: see me and shut that, don't you see me? Pants
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: around my angle, your hand side of him, set out
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: of lift these matches and got this water running in him,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Get away from him. Stand up in there talking like
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: ain't nothing going on, but damn all that why he's
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: coffee and we don't know what laugh. You got this
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: blood work because this fee right here coffee and don't
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: nobody know what it is? That's something else. Now you
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: don't have to get some blood work done on his
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: as he uses my washcloth and tile And don't understand
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: how nasty that is. Hell, no, you don't know. Just
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: in here, just got your tie between his legs, just

- 1:06:24Speaker 1: it on the floor, levitating. It's two inches off the
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: ground cause the marble. Don't want it on that the
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: heat from the towel it's got, the heat waves got
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: it up off the floor from sawing that. You need
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: some damn laugh work on his just using your washcloth
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: and his tie. Then hand it and hang it back
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: up there. Then it dry. You know how that thing

- 1:18:39Speaker 1: he's the one guy. If I could have dinner with anybody,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: it would be Tiger Woods. Well, can't you make that happen? Though?
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: I don't know. You know, I met a guy that's
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: okay too. I met a guy way excuse me a minute,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: he said he can see Yeah, wait wait a minute, Yeah,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: why slieves that it's Okay, though you think I can't
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: hook you and Tiger, No, not really. I mean nothing
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: in you, says that I don't get it because you
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: in me? What what need to be in me? Dinner
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: for these two? What Tiger phone number? Ken with him?
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: You ever met? Ain't spoke to Tiger, don't know it.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: He ain't gonna know me when I call it, but
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: he gonna know. But this dinner gonna be sick when
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I get there, Nephew. I had a guy and I
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: met on the front row of my of the of
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Family Feud and he was Tiger Woods personal photographer, and
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: we talked and he was astonished that he was the
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: one guy wanted to talk. And he says, Steve, he
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: talks about you a lot watching stuff. When he wants
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: to laugh, he sits with his kids and watch his
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: family feud clips. He said, he talks about you a lot.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: So that's the closest I've ever had. But that's the
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: one guy I want to sit and have dinner with it.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: It's gonna happen. I want to talk to him about
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: two things, his father, because I know there's some similarities
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: between us and our fathers. And then I want to
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: talk to him about some personal stuff. Yeah, that's great,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: it's gonna happen, because if he's already aware of you,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: he's yeah, yeah, the one guy you want to have done. Yeah,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I know the other person you don't. Okay, Well, congratulation Tommy,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: go ahead and hook that up. No no, no uncle,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: no no no no, no wants no no no no
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: no no. Let's not glaze over what Junior said. See
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: y'all a paper. I didn't hear Junior. He said, that's
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the one guy he wants to sit down and have
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: dinner with last Friday. I wanted to too, but he
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: got somebody he want to eat with. Like, I ain't
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: just saying you cut him deep, don't like. I didn't like.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I didn't hear that. Good. I didn't hear you. Junior
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: he keeping his friend. Yeah for Tiger though, Oh TI
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: call him? Gone, see right now? What if Tiger calls
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you fifteen times? Like Junior ain't gonna have to call hello,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: gonna get that right there? Yo? Hell yo, hell do
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I go tg it? Really? What I was? What in word?
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: That's what you That's what I get. Man? You call
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: them too much. Yeah, I'm trying to be his friend.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: But he don't want my friends. He does want your friends. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you guys are tightly. Yeah, it's not bad, but it's
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: just for fun, just crazy, you know. Yeah, you know
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: what I mean. Well, well maybe he'll invite you. I
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: got it, I got it. Maybe he'll invite you to
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: dinner with me and Tiger when they got stop that's
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: it killing my What do you be doing? What Anna saying?

- 1:23:11Speaker 1: If Tiger came by your house, Junior, what Steve right over?
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Oh he'll come right on over the end, so happy?
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I know I know what? Man, I want to come back?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: What a come back? Yeah? Truly? Man? The goat another
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: one killed me as though the same people that was
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: just downing them out ninety back of who is that Timmy,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: you mean the analysts, this fans period that just dogged
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: him out he was going through. Yeah, yeah, some fellow
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: golfers to rights there. Yeah. Man, they made me sick
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: the way they did this catman when he was down.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: It started with the affairs. Oh they boy, they played
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: so self righteous with this dude. Then he got injured
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: and that was just oh, look at him, he's nothing,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: you know, man, every one point time he was ranked
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: number two hundred in the world. Wow, look at him.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: He knew, we knew what he really right. Yeah, feel him.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: I'm really really happy for him. Yeah. And he was
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: really happy too, man, he could see it. Yeah, he
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: was really when he hugged his son. Ya he hugged
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: his dad. If you didn't cry, then, right, Tommy, come
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: on many, Yeah it was. And guess what he can get.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: He can make the cut on the next two tournaments.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I don't care. He got that green jacket again, uh huh? Yeah.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: So how many does he have now? He said? Five? Five? Five? Wow? Impressive.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: All right, We'll be back with more of a Steve
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after a VIZ. Thank you you're
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, the Queen
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: of Soul. May she rest in peace. Aretha Franklin has
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: made history with a posthumous Pulitzer Prize win. Aretha has
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: been awarded a Special Citation by the Pulitzer Prize Board
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: for her indelible contribution to American music and culture for
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: more than five decades, becoming the first individual woman ever
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to earn a special Citation prize. Congratulations to Miss Aretha
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Franklin's family. Wow, queen, Yes, Yes, she is the Queen. Yes,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: will always be Wow. And in other entertainment news, this
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: is a question can CBS and Steve you would probably
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: know the answer to this. Can CBS afford Gail King? Now?
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: Apparently Yeah, apparently she's huge. Now apparently some CBS staffers
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: are worried that, uh, CBS can't because the contract negotiations
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: are taking quite a while. Um after that infamous R
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: Kelly interview, Um, well, Oprah's bff is allegedly looking to
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: double her current five and a half million dollars salary. Boom, yeah, boom,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: we're talking eleven million dollars. I love it. I'm deserved it. Yes, yeah,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: absolutely for the one interview alone. Yea, thank you, you know,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: just overall body of works she's been doing. Yeah, but
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: I mean I would give it to her just for
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: that though, seriously, because that interview like that, that's yeah,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: And the interview was so profound, and I mean it
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: was all over the world, this interview. It was yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: it was at its best. Well she got it, nobody
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: else did. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Yeah, and then he thought
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: he did a great job. Yeah, yes, sid Steve, what
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: was that family y'all messing with my life right now?
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Family feud jokes that I don't know if you could
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: say on the air, Okay, I don't know. I can't
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: say no, don't do it. But it was funny. Yeah.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: At this point she gets our money. Yeah, I do too.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: At this point the contract is allegedly in the hands
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: of the lawyers, so yeah, you get something close to it.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: What do you always say about negotiation, Steve, Well, you know,
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: it's not what you're worth, is what you can negotiate,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: and so you just have to be a strong negotiate Hu.
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: And you said it should hurt a little, and well,
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: I think a good a good deal for me is
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: when everybody signs it hurts a book. Uh huh. You
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: you took a little bit less than you wanted to make,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: and they paid a little bit more than they wanted
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: to pay. Yes, when those two coincide, you got a
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: good deal. Take it, sign it. Going about your business.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: I would love to sign a deal while I just
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: get over completely and I'm done, you know, I just
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: completely get over, like you can't get no better than this.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: And we all know it, right right, Stephen, we all
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: know it. We all know this. So you know, Oprah's
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: probably coaching her too. They're bff, you know. Yeah, And
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Oprah's on the CBS this morning a lot. Yeah, Gail,
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: you know, get it, get it. Yeah, that's the right time.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Take care. They sure probably don't want anyone else to
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: get her, you know, because she she did her thing
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: with that interview. Roberts, Robert, Robert, because you know, if
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: you know, you didn't hit Robert. All right, We'll be
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show and entertainment news. Former
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: NFL player Reggie Bush announced a legacy fund for the
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: late rapper Nipsey Hustle. Reggie and his wife revealed via
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: Twitter that they had started a go fund me page
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: for Nipsey's two children and encouraged others to help them
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: reach their one hundred thousand dollars goal. One problem, UH,
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: neither Lauren London nor the family approved. Reggie got a
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: bit of a got a lot of backlash on this,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: so he deleted the campaign page and tweeted the following
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: UH and tweeted the following backlash UM. He posted a
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: long IG message to ensure them that he had no
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: ill intentions and he was never told he could launch
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: the fund. He said, I must defend myself here. This
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: is beyond me. I have absolutely nothing to gain from this. Yeah,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: I believe it, man. I think I think he was
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: doing it out the goodness of his heart. And you know,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: then when the family didn't know, I didn't, but I
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: probably wouldn't have known it. Well, somebody on my team
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: would researcher, but I wouldn't have known if I was
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: going to do some kind for someone that I had
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: to ask him could I do it? But if he
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: started to go fund me pain but then yeah, you know,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: you got that because there's so much going on around me, right,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: But I really don't think that Reggie Bush would do
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: something like that, at all. I think he was genuinely
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: trying to help. Yeah, I'm sure never heard right, right, no, man,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: you see it, hey, man, his solid guy from what
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: I know. You know, for him and his wife to
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: get involved like that, he were really trying to do
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: something for the man's children, right, yeah, right, And maybe
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: he'll be able to work with the family. And then
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: they now is it the Lord London's family that upset? Well,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: it's Laura London or Nipsey's and Nipsey's family, Ok, yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: I'm sure he's a good guy. Yeah. And then other
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: entertainment news, the hip hop community is calling for the
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: firing of Fox News host Laura Ingram following some disrespectful
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: comments made in the wake of Nipsey's death. During Friday show,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: Ingram aired a segment about Nipsey. Following his memorial service,
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: Take a Listen released a song called f dt F
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: Donald Trump, Trupal Trump Trump, tru tal Trump. Okay, now
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: that's a very creative, very catchy, very is it. It
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: all began and ended with Irving rollin for you didn't
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: um so the refrain chorus, it goes on and on.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: Is that related to the lowest unemployment ever basically for
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: African America. No for those who might not remember seventies,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: because come on now, hustle. Okay, first of all, it
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: was hip hop Squares. That's a and then this song
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: is by YG It was released about three years ago.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Nipsey was featured on the song Okay, behind the Times. Yeah,
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: you know, they do no research. This woman gets away
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: with more stuff. Yeah she does. Yes, yes, number one
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: because of her appearance and number two because she's on Fox. Absolutely,
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: so she gets away with this. But I'm gonna tell
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: you what would have to happen. They don't give a
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: damn what TI and and Snoop Sa Ti tank the
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: game and Snoop those are the ones that they could
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: care less because that's not their world. Sponsors don't care.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: They have to get some uproar from somebody else. All right,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: we'll be back with our last break of the day
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: and Steve's closing remarks right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: it is our last break of the day. What you
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: got closing remarks? You're up? You know something. Um, As
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: I get older and I go through things in my life,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: one of the things I've become really comfortable with is
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: sharing my own personal experiences with people and hope that
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: they can learn from some of the experiences I've had,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: some of the mistakes I've made, and so, you know,
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: one of the things I wanted to help people with
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: out there, because everybody has their share of haters out there,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: and so I just want to talk to you for
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: just a second about the people that you surround yourself with.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: It's important that you take constant inventory in your life
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: to make sure that you don't have dead weight attached
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: to you. It's important that you don't have people or
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: who are in a relationship with you that's just one sided.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: It's important that you know that everybody in your life
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: is important to you and would be there for you
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: in the moment of du rest. Now, if these people
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: don't fit that bill, then I'm sorry. You got to
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: do something else. But you got to watch people. You
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: got to constantly monitor people because people change, especially as
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: you elevate in life. As you elevate in life, people
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: have a different perception of you. Seeing what I found
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: in getting more and more and more successful. It is
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: not that you change as you becomes more and more successful.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: It's that people's perception of you changes, so now it
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: becomes all Now they think they all that are Now
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: they think they is because of that, when an actuality,
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: you can very well be the same person. You're just
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: at a different level. But it's amazing, man, when you
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: get to this other level in order for people to
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: throw rocks at you, it ain't level no more. They
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: got to throw their rocks up at you. And it
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: kind of disheartens you from time to time as you're
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: just minding your business and going through your life and
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: doing what you do to get people throwing rocks up
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: at you. And now a lot of people out there
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: that can relate to what I'm saying. It's not that
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: you think you better than somebody, but it's just that
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: you've gotten yourself in another level. You've just leveled up.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: And when you level up, you can't be concerned with
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: the people that ain't up there with you, because a
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: lot of people ain't up there with you because they
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: wouldn't even fit up there with you. Know how, The
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: majority of people ain't up there with you because if
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: God wanted them to be up there, he to put
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: them up there, but he didn't. He put you up there.
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: And it's Okay, that's just what it is. You up there.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: It's not for everybody, this place that you've reached. I'm
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: just sorry, man, it's just not for everybody. And you
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: gotta understand that and don't get disheardened. Man, when when
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: when when you get up at the top and it
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: starts to feel lonely. I was talking with somebody the
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: other day. You know, the problem with being at the
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: top is like being on the pyramid. It's a sharp
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: point at the top of that pyramid. Ain't a lot
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: of friends up there, ain't a lot of company up
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: there because guess what, it just ain't a lot of
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: room up there most people. And then now when you
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: do have friends, they write up under that pyramid. They
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: there and you know what they do. They to support
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: system for you. And you find that in people all
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: the time. But man, if you're not careful, if you're
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: not really really careful and you're not monitoring people along
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: the way, it's not you. The changes. They change, their
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: perception of you changes. So once their perception of you changes,
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: they attitude towards you changes. I can't count the people, man,
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: I can't count the people in my life. Man who
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: for one reason or another felt like it should have
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: been them, or for one reason another, they just got
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: jealous of you because of what you had. I was
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: talking to Jamie Fox at this party the other night
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: and Jamie Fox I showed him something that he had
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: posted on Instagram. He said, wow, man, I'm glad that
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: meant something to you. And what he posted was some
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: people only hate you because of the way other people
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: love you. Y'all, remember that some people only hate you
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: because of the way other people love you. Do you
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: know that That's simply all it takes for some people
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: to hate you. You ain't got to have done nothing
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: to them. But people get sick of your success. People
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: get tired of you. God always blessing you, How you
