- 0:17Speaker 1: cost me true good it, Steve, listen to move to
- 0:26Speaker 1: coether for steam bar handy, I don't join join me
- 0:50Speaker 1: to be doing me. Have you gotta turn huring in
- 1:06Speaker 1: the moment, you gotta turn to turn them out, got
- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn out the water the water. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your baby at it. I shall will a good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey, I got a radio show
- 2:12Speaker 1: him just trying to give God some back, just some
- 2:18Speaker 1: back of what even gave me, just a portion, you know.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Just I'm just trying, man, to to show some type
- 2:26Speaker 1: of gratitude for all his blessings. I'm just trying to, man,
- 2:32Speaker 1: just just get it right sometimes, you know what I mean.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I mean, man, you just can't do what you want
- 2:38Speaker 1: to do and just live wrong all the time. Man,
- 2:40Speaker 1: you got it at one point in time, Steve, come home. Man,
- 2:44Speaker 1: come on, man, you could do better. I know you can,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know saying and you know what I had to do.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I had to stop saying I'm gonna try to do better,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going
- 2:55Speaker 1: to do better. You know, trying it's just to put
- 2:59Speaker 1: forth and effin and if it don't work, well okay.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But if you make up in your mind that I'm
- 3:03Speaker 1: going to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting
- 3:08Speaker 1: it done is the only thing that matters. Sin It's
- 3:10Speaker 1: the difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to
- 3:13Speaker 1: win the game, or we're gonna go out here to
- 3:15Speaker 1: win the game. Now, trying to win the game means
- 3:18Speaker 1: that you could lose. But when you got in your
- 3:21Speaker 1: mind made up, most athletes will tell you that they
- 3:24Speaker 1: go out there with the full intent and purpose of
- 3:27Speaker 1: winning and winning only see they don't put the second
- 3:30Speaker 1: place finish on the cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't
- 3:34Speaker 1: get you there. You got to win. And now take
- 3:38Speaker 1: it out of the scope of athletics, but keep it
- 3:40Speaker 1: in that type of type of analogy in life. Man,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you just want to You want to win in life,
- 3:45Speaker 1: don't you. I mean, at the end of the day,
- 3:47Speaker 1: don't you want to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
- 3:49Speaker 1: The life don't you want to be recognized for your
- 3:52Speaker 1: hard work. Don't you want, you know, to be recognized
- 3:56Speaker 1: within the bonus structure down at your job. Don't you
- 4:00Speaker 1: to have your plaque up on the wall down at
- 4:02Speaker 1: your job. I mean most people do. Some people could
- 4:04Speaker 1: care less. Some people don't care about looking good or
- 4:07Speaker 1: being their best. And that's cool. But I ain't talking
- 4:09Speaker 1: to them though. I'm talking to you. I'm talking to
- 4:12Speaker 1: those of you who want to be the best you
- 4:14Speaker 1: can be. You know, people kill me when they're getting
- 4:17Speaker 1: mad at people there and he Brown knows and he
- 4:20Speaker 1: hall up on an employee of the moment man, the
- 4:22Speaker 1: dude doing his job to the best of his ability,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and he getting recognized for it? What they got to do?
- 4:27Speaker 1: It all that you're talking about because you ain't up there.
- 4:29Speaker 1: There's an amazing man, how people describe other people's success.
- 4:33Speaker 1: He's so lucky, lucky, Hey man, don't they kind of
- 4:36Speaker 1: get you a little bit when people call you lucky
- 4:39Speaker 1: When let me tell you what luck really is, y'all.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Luck is when hard work bumps up into opportunity, When
- 4:46Speaker 1: hard work runs smack dab up in the opportunity. Some
- 4:50Speaker 1: people call that luck, but hold on, let's let's think
- 4:53Speaker 1: about this. If you wasn't working hard, an opportunity presented itself,
- 4:58Speaker 1: what would you call that? What you call that a
- 5:00Speaker 1: missed opportunity? What you call that wrong place at the
- 5:03Speaker 1: wrong time, or you missed out on that? But see
- 5:06Speaker 1: when you've been working hard and the opportunity presents itself
- 5:09Speaker 1: and it bumps up into each other. Now people want
- 5:11Speaker 1: to call that luck. But hold up here, go to
- 5:13Speaker 1: part though the day ain't paying no attention to. Yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 1: that opportunity came by, But if you had not been
- 5:18Speaker 1: working hard and the hard work had not ran up
- 5:20Speaker 1: in the opportunity, what would you have. No, sir, it's
- 5:23Speaker 1: not luck, it's work. It is work, because as a
- 5:27Speaker 1: scripture that says faith without works is dead. Look, I
- 5:31Speaker 1: know I use the same ones all the time, but
- 5:33Speaker 1: them the ones I know. I mean what you want
- 5:36Speaker 1: me to, You want me lie to, You want me
- 5:37Speaker 1: to come on here and tell you man, I've been
- 5:39Speaker 1: studying the Bible. I haven't. I haven't. I haven't, I haven't.
- 5:42Speaker 1: But my mama was a Sunday school teacher. She taught
- 5:44Speaker 1: me enough. Though now I know different between right and wrong,
- 5:47Speaker 1: just like you do. You ain't gotta you know it,
- 5:51Speaker 1: kuss me when people write a strawberry letter? Am I
- 5:53Speaker 1: wrong for this? You know? Gooding? Well look at let's
- 5:55Speaker 1: read your letter. Are you wrong for this? You know
- 5:58Speaker 1: you're wrong? What you don't need that's to be, you know,
- 6:00Speaker 1: But I'm gonna do this anyway. Well, e see, go ahead, though,
- 6:03Speaker 1: do what you want to do. But you know what, y'all,
- 6:06Speaker 1: here's the best advice I can give you. This is
- 6:08Speaker 1: what I really came to talk about this morning, but
- 6:11Speaker 1: I got sidetrack because I listen, you know what, get
- 6:16Speaker 1: get out of your own way. So many of us
- 6:20Speaker 1: are blocking our own blessings. Were just in our own way.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We are in our own way. And one of the
- 6:28Speaker 1: most dangerous ways you can get in your way is
- 6:31Speaker 1: to do it your way, to get it figured your way,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and to lock in on your way. And this the
- 6:38Speaker 1: way it's got to go. Do you know how many
- 6:40Speaker 1: people are blocking a blessing? Do you know how long
- 6:43Speaker 1: I blocked mine? With that mindset right there? This is
- 6:48Speaker 1: how I wanted to happen, This is how I wanted
- 6:50Speaker 1: to go down. This the way I'm gonna go about it,
- 6:53Speaker 1: And this what's gonna happen, lock loaded fire. So I
- 6:58Speaker 1: was dead set on doing it my way. Have you
- 7:01Speaker 1: ever talked to people man, Well, it's just the way
- 7:03Speaker 1: I do it. Look, because it's the way you do it,
- 7:07Speaker 1: You think that make it the right way? You think
- 7:09Speaker 1: jazz because you'dn't thought on it long and hard, and
- 7:12Speaker 1: that's what you really want. Do you really think that
- 7:14Speaker 1: your way is the right way or could that be
- 7:16Speaker 1: a better way? See? Until I started listening to God
- 7:20Speaker 1: and started paying attention to his way, man, I was
- 7:23Speaker 1: spending my wheels. Man, I was out here so determined
- 7:27Speaker 1: this how I was gonna do it. But you know
- 7:29Speaker 1: I had to learn how to get out of my
- 7:31Speaker 1: own way because just because I could do it my
- 7:33Speaker 1: way didn't mean it was the right way. I had
- 7:37Speaker 1: to get out of my own way. Just get out
- 7:41Speaker 1: your way, man, Now, what what does that mean? That means, see,
- 7:48Speaker 1: set your goals, That means have your dreams. That I'm saying,
- 7:54Speaker 1: set your goals, man, I ain't saying don't set goals.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Listen to me. Set your goals. What is it you
- 7:59Speaker 1: want to happen? What is it you'd like to have,
- 8:02Speaker 1: What is it you'd like to be? What do you
- 8:04Speaker 1: aspire to set your goals and set your dreams. Now
- 8:09Speaker 1: take your goals and your dreams to God and ask
- 8:14Speaker 1: God to show you how. Man, you can save yourself
- 8:18Speaker 1: a lot of pain. Listen to somebody who did it
- 8:22Speaker 1: his way for so long. And when I finally got
- 8:25Speaker 1: out of my way, out of my own way. When
- 8:28Speaker 1: you've heard old people say, let go and let God,
- 8:31Speaker 1: you've heard him say that I didn't. I didn't get it,
- 8:35Speaker 1: but I got it. Now let go and let God.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And it's amazing little saying. Though now you know you
- 8:41Speaker 1: may not get it now. It took me a bunch
- 8:43Speaker 1: of years to get it too. But when I took
- 8:45Speaker 1: my goals and my dreams and my vision to God,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and I said, God, this is what I hope for,
- 8:52Speaker 1: this is what I aspired to, This is what I
- 8:54Speaker 1: want to be, This is why I would love to
- 8:56Speaker 1: get to. Then I said, help me show me how.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Point me in the right direction, Let me follow your footsteps,
- 9:04Speaker 1: guide me and give me a spirit of discernment. Show
- 9:08Speaker 1: me who wrong? Because I meet people every day. Ain't
- 9:10Speaker 1: up to no good with me? Every single day? Oh man, man,
- 9:15Speaker 1: I can't believe I run up into you. Man, the
- 9:17Speaker 1: Lord told me something's gonna happen to me today. Well, see,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I talked to him every day. He did not mention
- 9:23Speaker 1: you to me. He ain't said nothing to me. He
- 9:26Speaker 1: didn't tell me what was gonna happen in mind. Now,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I don't mean it can't happen because I'm open to it.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But it amazes me when people come up to me. Man,
- 9:34Speaker 1: the Lord wanted me to tell you this. Hold on, man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I talk to him every day, every day, some days
- 9:42Speaker 1: more than others. I ain't perfect. I missed sometimes, but
- 9:46Speaker 1: I'm on a daily basis talking to him. So really, man,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I'm and and please know I'm listening it as well
- 9:53Speaker 1: as I've ever listened before. But but get yourself together, though,
- 9:58Speaker 1: see no your goals in your dream and then let
- 10:00Speaker 1: God show you how to do it. He'll do it.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You know. It's so important everybody, that you get focused,
- 10:07Speaker 1: that you aim for something, that you dream of, something,
- 10:10Speaker 1: that you aspire to something. But it's the most the
- 10:13Speaker 1: best thing you can do. After you do all that, Man,
- 10:16Speaker 1: get God involved in it. Man, talk to him. I mean,
- 10:19Speaker 1: why would you not what you got to lose. You
- 10:21Speaker 1: ain't got to go down there and make no big
- 10:23Speaker 1: scene and run laps around the church and run up
- 10:26Speaker 1: there and throw yourself on the altar and scream and
- 10:29Speaker 1: flip over and throw money in the air. You ain't
- 10:31Speaker 1: got to do that. This you and God, man, This
- 10:33Speaker 1: you and God. You know you got to serve and
- 10:36Speaker 1: praise him the way you do it. You gotta let
- 10:38Speaker 1: anybody else tell you high's done. It's a personal relationship.
- 10:41Speaker 1: People kill me if you don't do it this way,
- 10:43Speaker 1: if you don't come here to this church and you
- 10:45Speaker 1: don't run around in this circle, and you don't get
- 10:46Speaker 1: flipped in and you don't, Hey, man, you better go
- 10:49Speaker 1: have a relationship with God. See what that's about. You understand?
- 10:52Speaker 1: Nobody throw you off with all that? All right, all right,
- 10:54Speaker 1: y'all talk to him. He loved to hear from you. Today.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You're listening to show ladies and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morning
- 11:03Speaker 1: shows on Alive, Open and Well. Good morning, Shirley, Good morning, Steve,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Welcome back, HALLI for Rell, Happy Friday Day and Junior.
- 11:16Speaker 1: The best mentor in the business is Morning Up, Alive
- 11:19Speaker 1: and Well. I want to thank y'all for letting me
- 11:21Speaker 1: to take off yesterday. How I'm Valentine. I had to
- 11:27Speaker 1: because you know, I work all the time, so I
- 11:30Speaker 1: had to give him a girl some time. We had
- 11:32Speaker 1: a wonderful time. Man, what you do because you know,
- 11:36Speaker 1: we always like to hear the stories. Nobody does it
- 11:39Speaker 1: like you, Steve. I probably can't tell y'all the name
- 11:42Speaker 1: of the restaurant. I don't want nobody going down there
- 11:46Speaker 1: messing it up. Okay, I'm not, y'all. But I called
- 11:53Speaker 1: a restaurant that was one of our favorites and we
- 11:58Speaker 1: hadn't been in a long long time, and so I
- 12:01Speaker 1: called down and made some arrangements to get a private
- 12:04Speaker 1: room with a separate interest interests, and so had it
- 12:09Speaker 1: set it up with all flowers and candles and everything.
- 12:13Speaker 1: And I had a table side uh waiter somalia because
- 12:18Speaker 1: my wife loves wine, and a table side chelf. And
- 12:23Speaker 1: he made us about fourteen to sixteen different dishes, you know,
- 12:28Speaker 1: just small bites, you know, small sides. Marjorie can order
- 12:34Speaker 1: some food. I know, with Marjorie, we don't even look
- 12:40Speaker 1: at the menu. We just let Marjorie order everything and
- 12:44Speaker 1: the wine and every really married to a big girl,
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah I am think so, yeah I am for real.
- 12:54Speaker 1: But now she don't eat everything she ordered. But she
- 12:56Speaker 1: gonna order though, yeah, like like yeah, but you know
- 13:01Speaker 1: if she if she ate it, yeah, i'd be married
- 13:04Speaker 1: to me girl, and and and I and I love
- 13:09Speaker 1: her the same, you know. You know that's right. Just
- 13:12Speaker 1: be a lot most that much food on the table.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Well mean you know they come take it off, you
- 13:17Speaker 1: know every time, you know, if they just bringing the
- 13:19Speaker 1: dish out of time. And so it was a private
- 13:22Speaker 1: well its coloring table, side chelf and private area. It's
- 13:26Speaker 1: just real nice just me and because it's very nice
- 13:29Speaker 1: to sit and have dinner with service and not have
- 13:32Speaker 1: to worry about talking to nobody else, just her. So
- 13:35Speaker 1: we had a really really nice time, you know. All right,
- 13:40Speaker 1: So I appreciate you'all understand that. And I also just
- 13:43Speaker 1: want to say this. I appreciate everybody's love and support
- 13:47Speaker 1: all y'all that mattered to me. Thank you, thank you,
- 13:50Speaker 1: thank you. That's because we love you, boy, We love you.
- 13:54Speaker 1: We love you. That's right. So you got big plans
- 13:58Speaker 1: for this weekend? Not yeah? Family? Yeah your stars today. Yeah.
- 14:08Speaker 1: As soon as I get off day, I gotta go
- 14:09Speaker 1: to work. Yeah wow. Yeah, our animal weekend is off,
- 14:12Speaker 1: so it don't stop it's just a weekends off is over.

- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, Junior, we want to hear
- 14:48Speaker 1: how your your Valentine's Day was. We know Steve always
- 14:51Speaker 1: sets it out really beautifully for Marjorie every Valentine's Day.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, but how was yours? Junior? Well know
- 15:00Speaker 1: what they wasn't like us. You know I had that
- 15:02Speaker 1: private room and everything. Now we was in there with everybody.
- 15:06Speaker 1: You know, we was at regular restaurant. We went down
- 15:08Speaker 1: to the space called Smitty's. Uh, you know that's what
- 15:11Speaker 1: she liked. So you know it's like a pool hall.
- 15:14Speaker 1: You know, they got pool in the back, got wings
- 15:17Speaker 1: over here, but everything ever packed. But that's what she
- 15:19Speaker 1: liked to do. She's had to play pools. I wanted
- 15:20Speaker 1: that shot some pool. She won every game. You know,
- 15:24Speaker 1: they didn't really know, love like that. Oh you don't
- 15:26Speaker 1: even know her. I come at it down here, La,
- 15:28Speaker 1: you know, real cool chick, you know, but she a
- 15:31Speaker 1: pool Shaw so you know this is the spot they Smitty.
- 15:34Speaker 1: She said, come on, we're going to Smitty. I just
- 15:36Speaker 1: put on a suit, you know. Now, yeah I'm in
- 15:40Speaker 1: I'm in a suit at Smitty's pool hall, getting whooped.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm talking about this ain't even fun tone the pocket,
- 15:48Speaker 1: fick move move, it's nine balls, sad fucking fie. I said,
- 15:56Speaker 1: this stuff taking all the fun out this day. And
- 16:00Speaker 1: she came by Shirley and grabbed my behind. I didn't
- 16:03Speaker 1: like the way that failed when yeah just just hugged
- 16:08Speaker 1: me at okay, So did you get us Awa? Yeah? Uh,
- 16:14Speaker 1: well when you went to pick her up and everything,
- 16:16Speaker 1: did you take her fly? She picked me up really agress,
- 16:21Speaker 1: really different time date. I didn't know what kind of
- 16:24Speaker 1: car does she have, Junior? Oh she has a what
- 16:26Speaker 1: sense uh what they call a thing that like they
- 16:30Speaker 1: call it tesla tesla thing. Yeah yeah, yeah, but but
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you know, just way she's aggressive. I've
- 16:38Speaker 1: never dated aggressive woman on Valentine Day and this how
- 16:40Speaker 1: did go? You know, like I wasn't even ready to
- 16:43Speaker 1: kiss you ever got pulled in. I wasn't even ready
- 16:47Speaker 1: two kiss. But it wasn't romantic. Are you saying it
- 16:51Speaker 1: wasn't romantic? It was very exciting. I was exciting, but
- 16:56Speaker 1: but you know, like when I got dropped off, I
- 16:58Speaker 1: just didn't feel right about that. What do you mean? Well,
- 17:01Speaker 1: the way she let me out, She's like, you're gonna
- 17:03Speaker 1: get out now. I was like, that's it. You ain't
- 17:06Speaker 1: coming in? Nah? What fuck? Ain't you gotta be the
- 17:08Speaker 1: work in the morning. I was like, okay, all right,
- 17:11Speaker 1: all right, thank you so much, Cheryl l Yeah, okay,
- 17:16Speaker 1: not underwood, Okay, nice though, I really enjoy it. Thank
- 17:21Speaker 1: you so much for the pool lesson. How'd you meet
- 17:23Speaker 1: this aggressive woman? Man? I met her? I met her.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I met her over here at one of the restaurants
- 17:31Speaker 1: of the Balls and everything. Can't tell you something, sure, yes,
- 17:33Speaker 1: I can't tell you something. The kids. I didn't really
- 17:36Speaker 1: like it. Why I thought you liked all that? You No? No,
- 17:40Speaker 1: she kids like a pool stick. It's straight, straight, straight,
- 17:44Speaker 1: tongue just hard, just like just shot in the back
- 17:51Speaker 1: of my mouth like faid colder pocket sh But what
- 17:58Speaker 1: does she have on does she have like a sec
- 18:00Speaker 1: she red corner pocket right there in the back hute
- 18:04Speaker 1: poked out the back of my cheeks. Well, Junior did.
- 18:08Speaker 1: How was she dressed and she having like a sexy
- 18:10Speaker 1: red Oh yeah, she wore all black heels and everything. Okay,
- 18:14Speaker 1: you know, I just didn't know she take you fast
- 18:16Speaker 1: like that? Oh okay, you know she wanted them to type.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I don't think we're gonna be going out again. Well
- 18:21Speaker 1: that's not It doesn't sound like you have much decision making.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Well she might, she called, I might have to go,
- 18:26Speaker 1: but I don't really want so that's all I feel.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I don't think kids though, the kids? Yeah, what was corfuck?
- 18:36Speaker 1: That was in back of my mouth? That fast? Wow, Carla,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I knew you had a good one. Oh yeah. My
- 18:44Speaker 1: husband gave me these beautiful, beautiful roses flowers from Beautiful
- 18:49Speaker 1: and then we went to dinner and then you know,
- 18:55Speaker 1: it was a nice Valentine's night, thank you. Yeah, mine
- 18:58Speaker 1: was really good too. I I enjoyed myself. I had
- 19:01Speaker 1: had a great Valentine's Now it was kind of low key,
- 19:03Speaker 1: we kind of like Netflix and chilled kind of night. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 1: but I like that. I enjoyed that very much with
- 19:10Speaker 1: the flowers and everything. You know. Um, of course we

- 20:37Speaker 1: waynes fry, Smitty's special sauce, whatever that was. It sounds
- 20:42Speaker 1: like it was hot. Yeah, yes, but she would she
- 20:45Speaker 1: wouldn't even bother it was me needed to walk. That's
- 20:48Speaker 1: type of one. I have cocktails. I couldn't focus on
- 20:52Speaker 1: having drinks with her. Too many other people that I
- 20:54Speaker 1: wouldn't familiar with. I don't know. I know gangster is
- 20:59Speaker 1: what I see him. I don't need to be drinking
- 21:01Speaker 1: while I'm in him. She was comfortable, No, just pudo. Yeah,
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm overdressed as it is, right, But you are playing

- 23:04Speaker 1: there's there must be some clerical error typo because, like
- 23:08Speaker 1: I just told you, man, I didn't boxes in Canada.
- 23:12Speaker 1: It's about seven boxes. But I mean, I mean, let's
- 23:15Speaker 1: just looking at the total here, that adds up about
- 23:17Speaker 1: six hundreds something, not dollars. I mean, I got flowers,
- 23:20Speaker 1: no partner. We're just gonna I'm just gonna take her
- 23:23Speaker 1: to dinner and we're just gonna do our thing. But
- 23:24Speaker 1: there was there was. There was no delivery schedule from me. No,
- 23:30Speaker 1: especially not it at seven o'clock. No partner, you got it.
- 23:34Speaker 1: There's something wrong. Well you are you you're not gonna
- 23:37Speaker 1: be there? Are You're not gonna be there tomorrow morning? Sir?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm I'm gonna be here. But as far
- 23:43Speaker 1: as accepting a delivery that I didn't order and didn't
- 23:46Speaker 1: pay for, that's not happening. Man. Well let me tell
- 23:49Speaker 1: you this. I got flowers, two boxes that are lingerie,
- 23:54Speaker 1: several boxes that are sex Choice, all that stuff. I
- 23:58Speaker 1: have all that stuff loaded to be the liver tomorrow
- 24:00Speaker 1: at seven am. And oh, dude, obviously there's a communication
- 24:06Speaker 1: breakdown between you and me, player because I didn't order that,
- 24:10Speaker 1: and right, but I have the But what the problem
- 24:14Speaker 1: I'm having is that you're telling me I'll have the
- 24:16Speaker 1: right address. You know the name of the person Kendred,
- 24:20Speaker 1: which is your wife. Right, yeah, yeah, so far so
- 24:24Speaker 1: good man. But as far as me ordering that, dude,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not. I'm not accepting it because I
- 24:31Speaker 1: didn't pay for it. I did not mean. I mean,
- 24:35Speaker 1: it's already it's already paid. Let me let me just
- 24:38Speaker 1: look at the name here on the h here it
- 24:40Speaker 1: is here is right here. Okay, we got Devin. Who
- 24:44Speaker 1: would you to say, I've said, Devin, that's that's who
- 24:48Speaker 1: made the purchase. Oh no, no, no, no, okay, that's
- 24:52Speaker 1: my wife's ex husband. So eithern you and him or
- 24:55Speaker 1: in cahoots with each other to do this and and
- 24:59Speaker 1: try to upset me. But guess what you succeeded. All right,
- 25:02Speaker 1: So I'm gonna make this as I listen to you,
- 25:09Speaker 1: so you listen to me. This is what I want
- 25:11Speaker 1: to make abundantly clear to you. I understand you have
- 25:14Speaker 1: a job to do, but if you bring those roses
- 25:17Speaker 1: and all of that stuff past my house tomorrow, this
- 25:20Speaker 1: is what's gonna happen. Those roses, those storms, I'm gonna
- 25:24Speaker 1: put them somewhere so far up your rear end that
- 25:27Speaker 1: the only way that they see sunshine is when you
- 25:30Speaker 1: open your mouth. So do not, I repeat, do not.
- 25:34Speaker 1: You and Devin, y'all can take this and you can
- 25:37Speaker 1: do whatever y'all want with it. Y'all can play with
- 25:39Speaker 1: the sex toys, y'all do whatever you want to, red roses,
- 25:42Speaker 1: tuttles and all that other stuff. Y'all gonna do what
- 25:44Speaker 1: you need to do. Not show up at my trib
- 25:48Speaker 1: tomorrow because it ain't gonna be a happy Valentine's Day
- 25:51Speaker 1: for nobody involved. That's what I'm okay. But here's the deal.
- 25:55Speaker 1: As a deliberate person, I am obligated to make the drive.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I have to make this job or then I don't
- 26:03Speaker 1: get it. You know, I get chewed out that I
- 26:05Speaker 1: didn't do my job, because that's something, okay, So what
- 26:08Speaker 1: would what would you rather be chewed out or half
- 26:10Speaker 1: towards up your rear end? Since you let's hold down.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Let's slow down here. What you gonna do is holes
- 26:19Speaker 1: you bring? Okay, all right, I won't do the flowers.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'll use the sex toys for you. So you got
- 26:26Speaker 1: a choice. Music got flowers? You you? Let's let me
- 26:31Speaker 1: let me say this flowers as professional as possible. You
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to be as cool as possible, but you
- 26:38Speaker 1: ain't listening to me. Do not bring them? Do every Okay,
- 26:42Speaker 1: you can drop them off at the curve, then you
- 26:44Speaker 1: get credit for and whoever walked past and up and
- 26:47Speaker 1: down the street, they can pick it up. But do
- 26:49Speaker 1: not come to my front door and ring my doorbell
- 26:52Speaker 1: asking me to sign and accept nothing. And it ain't
- 26:56Speaker 1: have to drop them off at the door, sir, dude,
- 27:01Speaker 1: I'm telling you now, I gotta drop him off at
- 27:04Speaker 1: the door. The problem I'm having is you telling me
- 27:06Speaker 1: you're gonna stick some flowers up like now we got
- 27:09Speaker 1: a problem. Just listening to this whole scenario, I'm just curious.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Is it possible that maybe Devin does something for her
- 27:17Speaker 1: that you don't do? Hey? Man, you what? What's where
- 27:19Speaker 1: are you going at? Was this all I'm telling you
- 27:22Speaker 1: is demanding your business and don't make this drop? Why
- 27:25Speaker 1: am I doing that? Devin? I'm sure I'm just that.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Why am I don't do this stuff that Devin has
- 27:30Speaker 1: purchased for her? And why you need to ask Devin?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Because Steven show his faith up over here you can
- 27:40Speaker 1: take it home and give it to your girl if
- 27:43Speaker 1: you want to. I'm not giving my girl or anything
- 27:45Speaker 1: that I didn't buy far. I'm not doing that you think.
- 27:48Speaker 1: So if you if you're not gonna get your girl
- 27:50Speaker 1: or anything that you didn't buy far, why am I
- 27:52Speaker 1: going to accept something for my girl that I didn't
- 27:54Speaker 1: buy far? I ain't A'm telling you that you gotta
- 27:57Speaker 1: accept this at all. I'm saying, how do you have
- 27:59Speaker 1: to make relate if you bring my hounds? I got accepted,
- 28:02Speaker 1: and I'm telling you now, don't he bread to my house?
- 28:05Speaker 1: Maybe maybe mister Devin know what she looks. She looks
- 28:09Speaker 1: like obviously she him no more. She most of the
- 28:14Speaker 1: flower delivery person, just like he heard that husbin. I'm whooping.
- 28:21Speaker 1: That's all I got to say. Two words. But you're
- 28:23Speaker 1: bringing some whooping, so you might as well come on
- 28:26Speaker 1: now so you can go home after you get this whooping. Okay, okay, okay,
- 28:30Speaker 1: let me let me say this. At the end of
- 28:31Speaker 1: the day, I'm gonna say this is Tommy already told
- 28:34Speaker 1: me she's gonna do something like this. He told me
- 28:37Speaker 1: that who do you say? Who the hell of me
- 28:40Speaker 1: already told me you was gonna act like, who the
- 28:42Speaker 1: hell is timmy nephew tim Me, Isaiah, this is nephew
- 28:47Speaker 1: timm me for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And guess what, Isaiah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: your girl Kendrell got me to prank phone call you.
- 28:56Speaker 1: You know what, you Kendre Devin. All of y'all can
- 29:02Speaker 1: show up tomorrow and all of y'all gonna get portions
- 29:06Speaker 1: of this Valentine to day. You gotta give brother chance
- 29:15Speaker 1: to cool down, not man. I to my sweet one
- 29:20Speaker 1: and only kindred with all that is in me. I
- 29:23Speaker 1: love you, baby girl to death do us part, and
- 29:27Speaker 1: it almost came early, but I love you. Huh what
- 29:34Speaker 1: Valentine delivered? That is yeah? Okay, yeah, yeah, that that's
- 29:39Speaker 1: what you got to do your half Valentine. They delivered.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Am I the greatest? N Yeah nobody, You're the King,
- 29:48Speaker 1: Thank you? I love you. Ain't here. Valentine's Day must
- 29:55Speaker 1: have been a bit much for him, all right, Uh
- 29:59Speaker 1: channing a little Kaleen, Yeah he is, He's in Kaleen
- 30:02Speaker 1: all right. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:04Speaker 1: entertainment news, Jesse Smalllett opens up about his attack two
- 30:07Speaker 1: weeks ago and the NAACP image award nominations are here.
- 30:12Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this you're listening to show.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Jesse Smallette opened up to GMA's Robert Roberts and told
- 30:24Speaker 1: his story about his alleged racist and homophobic attack, which
- 30:27Speaker 1: occurred in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. Small Lett
- 30:30Speaker 1: gave a very detailed description of what happened. He also
- 30:34Speaker 1: answered a lot of the questions that critics and doubters
- 30:38Speaker 1: have had about his story. Smalllette says is disappointing that
- 30:41Speaker 1: his attack wasn't captured on video. Take a listen. I
- 30:45Speaker 1: went down to where it happened and I walked them
- 30:48Speaker 1: through exactly what happened. And I looked up that I
- 30:50Speaker 1: saw that there was a camera directly on the light
- 30:53Speaker 1: post that is in the intersection, so I'm like, there
- 30:58Speaker 1: it is. And then the deta to told me that
- 31:00Speaker 1: the camera inside of the casing was facing north, so
- 31:04Speaker 1: they didn't have it, and that was disappointing. Yeah. Jesse
- 31:08Speaker 1: also said that he gave police a description of their
- 31:11Speaker 1: body type and believes that the guy who said one
- 31:14Speaker 1: hundred percent that the two men and the surveillance photo
- 31:17Speaker 1: released by police are the attackers. Now, according to Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: he said that. Now he was that that's them, he
- 31:23Speaker 1: said that. Now. According to TMZ, the Chicago police raided
- 31:26Speaker 1: the home of the persons of interest and seized two laptops,
- 31:30Speaker 1: five bottles of bleach, a red hat. Both of the
- 31:33Speaker 1: men were reported to be extras on the set of Empire.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Also yeah, also, multiple sources have told Chicago ABC seven
- 31:44Speaker 1: Eye Witnessed News that police are investigating whether Jesse Smalette
- 31:48Speaker 1: and the two men staged the attack. Now, that was
- 31:50Speaker 1: the latest thing that came out, allegedly because Smallette was
- 31:54Speaker 1: being written out of Empire. However, a Chicago police spokesman
- 31:58Speaker 1: by the name of Anthony Googliemi says that there's no
- 32:03Speaker 1: evidence to support that report from ABC seven I witness
- 32:07Speaker 1: News in Chicago. I can tell you right now that
- 32:09Speaker 1: really I don't only know how that would make sense. Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: that somebody with stage getting jumped on to save your
- 32:16Speaker 1: role on a show, right because you thought you were
- 32:19Speaker 1: getting written out. Yeah, but how does that make any sense?
- 32:21Speaker 1: And he's such a prominent character, it just doesn't make
- 32:24Speaker 1: me live. Yeah. But but Fox exex came out and
- 32:27Speaker 1: said that's definitely not the case. They weren't planning on
- 32:29Speaker 1: firing him or anything. Yeah, he's a core part of
- 32:33Speaker 1: that show. Yeah he is. He is a major story liner.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yeah on the shows. Yeah, yeah, this case. Yeah yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 1: And we'll keep you posted, of course as the news
- 32:44Speaker 1: comes to us. Yeah. The nominees were the NAACP Image
- 32:49Speaker 1: Awards were announced and Regina King, Chadwick Boseman, Jessie Smallett
- 32:54Speaker 1: and It's a Ray are just a few of those
- 32:57Speaker 1: up for recognition. And congratulate to our very own guests,
- 33:01Speaker 1: who Steve Harvey. Okay, dude, you were nominated for Outstanding
- 33:07Speaker 1: Game Show Host for Family Feud, which you start today.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Congratulations on that. You didn't know, You didn't know, because
- 33:18Speaker 1: this sounds like surprise. Yeah, I didn't know. They don't
- 33:22Speaker 1: content you. Wow, you've been working that hard getting the
- 33:29Speaker 1: hands up. No, maybe I should fire some people whatever.
- 33:38Speaker 1: That shocked. Yeah, I'm in I'm in the news in
- 33:43Speaker 1: the damn way. Well be forsothe we congratulations Steve, Outstanding
- 33:49Speaker 1: Game Show Host for Family Feud. The Image Award celebrates
- 33:53Speaker 1: excellence by people of color and movies, TV, music, and literature.
- 33:57Speaker 1: The fiftieth Annual NAACP Awards as on March thirtieth on
- 34:01Speaker 1: TV one. Congratulations again. Now it is time Steve for
- 34:06Speaker 1: today's headlines. Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Shrip, thank you
- 34:14Speaker 1: very much, Steve. Thanks everybody out there. Good morning, This
- 34:17Speaker 1: is a trip with the news. Yes, it is now
- 34:19Speaker 1: both the as Senate and the House of Representatives now
- 34:22Speaker 1: that they have both ratified the new border wall compromise agreement.
- 34:25Speaker 1: The President is expected to sign the measure into law
- 34:28Speaker 1: later on today and stave off another government's shut down then, though,
- 34:31Speaker 1: in order to get over the full amount that he
- 34:34Speaker 1: wants for his campaign promised boarder wall. At ten o'clock
- 34:37Speaker 1: this morning, President Trump is reportedly going to declare a
- 34:40Speaker 1: national emergency so that he can simply take money already
- 34:43Speaker 1: earmarked for other things like renovating the Army's Camp Le
- 34:47Speaker 1: June stuff like that, and use that money. Democrats say, however,
- 34:50Speaker 1: that using a declaration of national emergency just to get
- 34:53Speaker 1: some money test the limits of the presidential's authority and
- 34:56Speaker 1: how Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she might fill a legal
- 34:59Speaker 1: challenge President that the President is setting here is something
- 35:02Speaker 1: that should be met with great unease and dismay by
- 35:05Speaker 1: the Republicans. And of course we will respond according when
- 35:08Speaker 1: we review our options. And paulas Pelosi says that the president,
- 35:12Speaker 1: if he does declare a national emergency just to use
- 35:15Speaker 1: government as a piggy bank, that that would set a
- 35:17Speaker 1: dangerous president, as you said, for the future of other
- 35:20Speaker 1: commander in chiefs who could do something like that. Also,
- 35:22Speaker 1: William Barr has been confirmed as a nation's new attorney general.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Barr held the same position in the administration of hw Bush.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick fans rejoice. That's because the Colorado Spring Sports
- 35:33Speaker 1: store that stopped selling Nike products just because of the
- 35:36Speaker 1: campaign they had featuring the Gifted, a quarterback who's still unemployed. Well, anyway,
- 35:41Speaker 1: that company is now out of business. Kaepernick melt in
- 35:43Speaker 1: the national anthem, you know, call attention to the police
- 35:46Speaker 1: murders of unarmed black people, and the owner of Primetime
- 35:50Speaker 1: Sports didn't like the fact that Kaepernick was being featured
- 35:52Speaker 1: and that Kaepernick's T shirts were flying off the shells.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Everybody was buying him. So what he did he got
- 35:57Speaker 1: rid of his entire Nike inventory and now he's out
- 36:01Speaker 1: of business. A website reporting that Bravo TV network listen
- 36:05Speaker 1: to this has just given the green light for a
- 36:07Speaker 1: new reality show featuring legendary model and restaurate tour b Smith,
- 36:12Speaker 1: her husband Dan Gasby, and his mistress Alex Lerner, who've
- 36:15Speaker 1: been talking about this story on the show. Mto says
- 36:19Speaker 1: that the show is going to be focusing on the
- 36:20Speaker 1: quote fabulous life of Alex and Dan and how they
- 36:24Speaker 1: lovingly care for Barbara while spitting their time between Barbara's
- 36:29Speaker 1: homes in New York City and the Hampton's. Barbara Smith
- 36:31Speaker 1: was a millionaire, a top Black model, a restaurateur, and
- 36:34Speaker 1: TV personality with her own line of home furnishings. However,
- 36:37Speaker 1: ten years ago she was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Sad News, music and polder Michelle Legrand has died at
- 36:44Speaker 1: age eighty six. Y Oscar winner wrote music for a
- 36:46Speaker 1: number of movies like The Summer of forty two and
- 36:49Speaker 1: Brian's Song starring Billy d williamsment James con Remember this
- 36:53Speaker 1: it's a sad movie. I cried my eyes out. Well,
- 36:55Speaker 1: let's not cry. Finally, today is give Some Love Day
- 36:58Speaker 1: and I sam in love. You just believe on in
- 37:01Speaker 1: love the uz you best believe. Get back to the
- 37:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Everybody, and good morning. You're listening
- 37:07Speaker 1: to the String Show. All right, here we go again
- 37:11Speaker 1: with these R. Kelly videotapes and stuff man. Their new
- 37:16Speaker 1: allegations now against R Kelly. Investigators are looking to a
- 37:19Speaker 1: newly surfaced video featuring R. Kelly and a young girl
- 37:23Speaker 1: v A VHS tape was submitted by a whistle blower
- 37:26Speaker 1: who was being represented by Michael Abanati. Michael Abanatti is
- 37:30Speaker 1: the same lawyer who represented Stormy Daniels in that case.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Abanatti claims that his client can id both Kelly and
- 37:39Speaker 1: the girl in the video, who are seen performing multiple
- 37:42Speaker 1: sex acts. They are also some disturbing references to the
- 37:45Speaker 1: girl's age and their dynamic, including referring to her private
- 37:49Speaker 1: parts as fourteen years old and her calling R. Kelly
- 37:52Speaker 1: Daddy multiple times. The man in the video also apparently
- 37:56Speaker 1: has a mole on his spine, consistent with one of
- 37:59Speaker 1: the singers marks. Apparently, the whistle blower has known Our
- 38:02Speaker 1: Kelly for decades and has met the girl a few times.
- 38:06Speaker 1: The singer's lawyer says they are unaware of any new
- 38:10Speaker 1: evidence against Kelly. Avanadi as I mentioned as the same
- 38:13Speaker 1: attorney who represented Stormy Daniels last year, if you would
- 38:16Speaker 1: call back. In two thousand and two, R. Kelly was
- 38:18Speaker 1: arrested for child pornography for a very similar video and
- 38:22Speaker 1: wound up being acquitted six years later. One issue back
- 38:24Speaker 1: then was that no one could prove whether it was
- 38:28Speaker 1: our Kelly on the tape. Jesus, Yeah, he does, he
- 38:33Speaker 1: really does. Does Anybody? Is anybody saying how old this

- 38:47Speaker 1: but when the tape when it happened, she was fourteen
- 38:50Speaker 1: years old. Yeah. See, I think I don't. I don't
- 38:53Speaker 1: know how law works in these cases right here. I
- 38:56Speaker 1: don't know if there's a statue of limitations. It's just
- 39:00Speaker 1: you know, it's just repeatedly. Yeah, he needs to be
- 39:03Speaker 1: stopped the same thing though. Man, it's not it's not good.
- 39:08Speaker 1: It's it's not good in any way. It's just not good. No, no, no,
- 39:15Speaker 1: I mean, it's not even a lot you can say
- 39:17Speaker 1: about this. And I mean, you know, until I saw
- 39:19Speaker 1: this special on it though, the series that they did,
- 39:24Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't know it was at that magnitude.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I didn't know. You know, I heard it, but I
- 39:28Speaker 1: didn't know. Yeah, you know, I didn't go to court
- 39:30Speaker 1: read documents on it. I just didn't know. And you
- 39:33Speaker 1: weren't alone. A lot of people said the same thing. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:37Speaker 1: this is awful, This is really sickening. Yeah, all right,
- 39:41Speaker 1: we're gonna move on hopefully. Um, you know this situation

- 54:50Speaker 1: we do. Okay, we could be reading your letter live
- 54:53Speaker 1: on the air, just like we're gonna read this one
- 54:55Speaker 1: right now. All right, we're ready, all right, what's that time?
- 55:00Speaker 1: She is my free and strawberry shirty shibby shirty. Strawberry
- 55:04Speaker 1: was his strawberry left. Did you say strawberry Shirley, Yeah,
- 55:11Speaker 1: well you know who. It's just funny. I'm good, I'm good,
- 55:16Speaker 1: I'm good. All right, subject can of cheater ever change?
- 55:19Speaker 1: Here's Stephen Shirley. I've been in a relationship for nineteen years,
- 55:23Speaker 1: but we are not married. I stayed in this relationship
- 55:27Speaker 1: because I do really love my guy, and we have
- 55:29Speaker 1: five kids together. Since day one, he has cheated on me,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and I was young, so I let him get away
- 55:36Speaker 1: with it and hopes that he would get it out
- 55:38Speaker 1: of his system. While things got worse over the years,
- 55:42Speaker 1: and now he has four outside kids with four other women.
- 55:46Speaker 1: His family knew about the other children, but nobody ever
- 55:50Speaker 1: told me about them until recently. He swears he has
- 55:54Speaker 1: stopped the cheating, but he is still up to his
- 55:56Speaker 1: childish games. And I heard he took another woman to
- 55:59Speaker 1: his mom's around his family over the holidays. When I
- 56:03Speaker 1: asked him about it, he told me that I don't
- 56:05Speaker 1: have the right to question him about what he does
- 56:07Speaker 1: when he's not with me. Wow. Then he blames his
- 56:11Speaker 1: behavior on my wrong doings. Over the years. He found
- 56:14Speaker 1: out that in the past I would talk to other
- 56:16Speaker 1: guys on the phone whenever he and I were going
- 56:19Speaker 1: through a bad spell. But I never cheated on him.
- 56:22Speaker 1: He says that I'm not a cheater. He knows that
- 56:25Speaker 1: I'm not a cheater, but he likes to throw that
- 56:27Speaker 1: up in my face. I still want to marry this
- 56:30Speaker 1: man so our children can have both of their parents
- 56:33Speaker 1: in the home. I don't want to be with anyone else,
- 56:35Speaker 1: and I have nothing left to give anyone new. Whenever
- 56:39Speaker 1: I mention leaving him, he acts up and goes crazy,
- 56:43Speaker 1: but he doesn't do anything to show me that he cares. Steve,
- 56:46Speaker 1: this man is thirty seven years old now, so do
- 56:49Speaker 1: you think he will ever change and get it together.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I am willing to accept his other children and make
- 56:53Speaker 1: it all work. Am I being foolish? I need your
- 56:56Speaker 1: honest advice? Wow? The disrespect that is in this letter.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I mean, you know, there's just you know, a couple
- 57:05Speaker 1: of ways to look at this. One of the ways
- 57:07Speaker 1: is the way you want things to be, you know,
- 57:09Speaker 1: the way you imagine things to be. But this is
- 57:12Speaker 1: not the relationship you're in. The relationship you're in is
- 57:15Speaker 1: how things really are. You've been with a man for
- 57:18Speaker 1: nineteen years, You're not married to this man. This man
- 57:22Speaker 1: is cheated on you for nineteen years. You have four
- 57:24Speaker 1: outside children this man does with four other women that
- 57:29Speaker 1: you know about. And then the disrespect. He's just disrespecting you.
- 57:34Speaker 1: His family knew about the other children. They disrespect you.
- 57:40Speaker 1: He's taking the children and other women around his family.
- 57:43Speaker 1: That's more disrespect. But you're still staying there nineteen years.
- 57:48Speaker 1: You love this man. You wanted to work out so
- 57:50Speaker 1: your children can have both the parents in the home.
- 57:53Speaker 1: For what, he doesn't respect you. He even told you
- 57:57Speaker 1: you don't even have a right to question him about
- 58:00Speaker 1: what he does when he's not with you. What you've
- 58:04Speaker 1: been with this man for nineteen years? Come on, come on,
- 58:11Speaker 1: this is so crazy to me. I mean, this man
- 58:13Speaker 1: is thirty seven years. Do you think he'll ever change? No, No,
- 58:17Speaker 1: he's not gonna change. Why should he? Well, what's the
- 58:20Speaker 1: incentive to change? When he can do whatever he wants
- 58:22Speaker 1: to do with home, he wants to do it and
- 58:25Speaker 1: still come back to you and you'll take him back.
- 58:28Speaker 1: You're willing to accept his other children and make it
- 58:31Speaker 1: all work. What incentive does he have to change and
- 58:34Speaker 1: be a better man? You're certainly not giving it to him.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I mean, really, this is a case of low self
- 58:42Speaker 1: esteem here and all of that. I mean, we talk
- 58:44Speaker 1: about that a lot on this show. You're allowing him
- 58:47Speaker 1: to do it, and you have for nineteen years, So
- 58:49Speaker 1: why change now, Steve. Great answer, Shirley, really really great answer.
- 58:55Speaker 1: I feel the same way. The problem system as that. Look,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I've been in a relationship for nineteen years, not married,
- 59:06Speaker 1: so he's never planned on committing to you. You stayed
- 59:09Speaker 1: in the relationship because you really do love this guy.
- 59:13Speaker 1: We have five kids together since day one. He's cheated
- 59:17Speaker 1: on me day one. He's cheated on you through the
- 59:21Speaker 1: five kids. Now, I let him get away with it
- 59:25Speaker 1: in hopes that he would get it out of his system.
- 59:28Speaker 1: That ain't high man, get it out of his system.
- 59:30Speaker 1: He get it out of his system. When you stop
- 59:33Speaker 1: letting him get away with it, it further ingrains in
- 59:36Speaker 1: his system. When you allow him to get away with it,
- 59:40Speaker 1: you've accepted bad behavior from him, and since he knows
- 59:43Speaker 1: you's accepted, he just continues to bad behavior. But you
- 59:47Speaker 1: were young, you didn't know how to do it. So
- 59:49Speaker 1: I'm not mad at I'm just telling you what happened. Well,
- 59:52Speaker 1: things got worse over the years. Of course they got
- 59:55Speaker 1: worse over the years because he's had no check and balance,
- 59:58Speaker 1: ain't been no conselt, quinches of repercussions for none of
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: his actions. Well, you've got worse over the years. And
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: now he has four outside kids with four other women.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Wait a minute, man, dude, you haven't made nine babies. No, no, no,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: huh no, four outside kids with four different women. Oh
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: but you mean with his other with his five children
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: he got fired with huh. He got four outside children
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: with four other women. You haven't made nine babies with
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: five women. Come on, dog, dog, what's what's wrong with you?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: What is wrong with you? And you? And you thirty
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: seven years old and this day and age condom ain't
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: never what? Man? You? You just an idiot? He's an idiot. Yeah.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Now his family knew about the other children, but nobody
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: ever told me about them until recently. Now he swears
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: he stopped the cheating. What after nine kids? I mean,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: how much child supposed how much you making? Though he
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: stopped the cheating, but he's still up to his childish games.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Wait a minute. He swears he stopped the cheating, but
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: he's stealing to his childish game. I already took another
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: woman to his mom's house around his family over the holidays. Okay,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: this is woman number five. She gonna have a baby too,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: because that's what he do. He didn't have four other women,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: and four of them got kids. Man, it's something wrong
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: with this dude. We come back. When I asked him
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: about it, he told me I don't have the right
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: to question him about what he does when he's not
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: with me. Well, no, you can't question you, because when
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: he ain't with you, he making babies. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: we're gonna have part two of your response coming up
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hours. Subject can a cheater
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: ever change? We'll find out right after this you're listening show,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Let's recap Steve Today's strawberry letters. Subject can a cheater
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: ever change? This lady been with this man nineteen years.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: They never got married. He hadn't stayed in the relationship
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: because she really loved the man, and they got five
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: kids together. But since day one, he hadn't cheat it
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: on him. You let him get away with it and
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: hopes he get it out of his system. That ain't
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: how we get it out of our system. We get
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: stuff out of our system a lot quicker when there's consequences,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: checks and balance. Well, things got worse over the years.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I knew it because he ain't got no checks into
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Now he's got four outside kids with four other women.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: It's fair. I'm knew about everything. Blah blah blah blah.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: He swears he stopped his cheating, but he's up to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: his childish games. I heard he took another woman over
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: to his mama's house around the family and the holidays,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: And when I asked him about he told me, you
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: don't have to right to question him when he would
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you do when he's not with you, you can't. You
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: ain't got the question what he's doing. You already they
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: walking around, they need Pampus, they need to ride to school,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: they need lunch money. You ain't got to question him
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: about what he's doing. He got proof of what he doing.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Now he got a fifth woman he didn't take over
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: to the house. Told him, you ain't got the right
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: the question. Then he blames with my behavior wrong doings
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: over the years, said, you talked to other guys whenever
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: you're always going through Bassville, but you never cheated on
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: He knows I'm not a cheater. But he likes to
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: throw that up in my face. Here is the kicker.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I still want to marry this man so our children
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: can have both their parents in the home. He's never home.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: And let me ask you something, little girl, because I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: really feel badly for you. What do you want to
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: marry him for? Listen to me. The whole nineteen years
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: has been horrible for you. Nineteen years, nine kids that
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you know about, five yours, four other kids by four
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: different women. But you still want to marry him? Why
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: so your children can have both parents in the home.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: He not at home no how, And I don't want
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to be with anyone else. I have nothing left to
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: give anyone new. Whenever I mentioned leaving him, he acts
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: up and go crazy. Okay, stop mentioning it. Yeah now,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: But he doesn't do anything to show me that he cares.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: He doesn't. The reason he doesn't show you that he
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: cares is because he doesn't. This is a self senate,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: egotistical bad person, Steve. This man is thirty seven years old.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Do you think we will ever change and get it together? No?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Why should he listen to me? There's been no consequences
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: if all these kids ain't got him to straighten up.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Yet these nine babies that he really supposed to be
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: paying for. If that ain't got him straightened up, I
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: don't know what you can do. I'm willing to accept
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: his other children and make it all work. Why you
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: already got five in your own? Wait a minute, you're
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: going to accept his other children? What about the other mothers?
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Is this for old people? They ain't just kids. These
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: other people got money. These kids ain't all sitting around
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: at the daycaret waiting on him and pick him up.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: It's for other women you got to bring into your life.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: And I'm willing to acceptance other chiefs to make it
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Am I being foolish? I think so? I don't think
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: he's going to change. I need your as he when
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: he told you he wasn't through cheating you. Right after that,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: your next sentence was, but he's up to his childish
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: ways because he's a child. This man posedly grown a man.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Keep acting like a child. You can be a little
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: boy and become a father. Being a father don't make
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: you a man. He's out there fathering children. He ain't
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: a daddy. To know, anybody can be a father. It
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: takes a real special man to be a dad, that's
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the answer. Can a cheatah ever change Yes, this one's
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: not one of them, and she can't change him. He
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: enjoys cheating, He enjoys unprotected sex. He must like kids.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: He got nine of them. He thirty seven years old.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: He got nine kids. Let me show you. So y'all
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: been dating nineteen years? He thirty seven? How long? What
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: was he twenty two? Like, eighteen, eighteen and nineteen Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: you're right. S So he was eighteen years old. He
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: sported made a baby every other years of his adult life.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Every other's year he's produced to child. So he's gotten
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: a woman pregnant every year and every nine months. This
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: dude and't produced a child. Wow, but he takes him
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: around his family. Yeah, I mean you know him. You
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: probably got the stage man got her. He gotta have
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: a winning bag on a kid. You gotta have kitchen
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: in there everything. Yeah, he ain't got that little minute
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: man ain't enough people here. You got out moaning that
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: he didn't. Probably bought an old school bus or something.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I had room. Guys, Look, lady, your self esteem is
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: is in the crapper. Like Shirley said, you've got to
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: pick yourself up somehow. You need some prayer and some counseling,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and you need to find yourself and find the good
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: in you, because there's a lot of good and you
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: could be miserable by yourself. You probably would be happier
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: because you wouldn't have to worry about him, worried about
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: somebody said something one time. Life is too short for
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: me to be waiting on you to act, right, Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: that's too bad that she's sitting around waiting on him.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: All right, please email us your Instagram. That's your thoughts
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey f M. Coming

- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Here's a person that don't really like taking care of people.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: So last thing he knew is damn dog. Yeah, that
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: dog would be so missubmission. Yeah, yeah, it's not for real.

- 1:17:20Speaker 1: man's best friend, Man, don't nobody can nobody whether Donald
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Trump got a dog or not? Please man. Yeah, it's

- 1:17:36Speaker 1: yeah right, we got no room, no dog in this
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: White House. We got so many damn criminals up here.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: We didn't replace the dogs with inmates. Man, we got

- 1:18:16Speaker 1: still have your dog, Steve, you like dogs now, huh uh?
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: You know we have dogs. I'm not I'm not really
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: a dog person, but our dogs are really really well trained,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: so they're very, very tolerable. You know, I just wish,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I just you know the thing about having a dog,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: it's a lot of responsibility. The vet bills is amazing. Yes,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: to use the bathroom, you still got to take him out, yeah,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: or else you got to walk him. Yeah. He cannot
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: feed himself, so you got to feed him. Yes, responsibility.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I got out. I'm tired. Man, I didn't I'd have
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: raised my kids all. My kids can feed their cell
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: work eat, they know how, they all what. Yeah, I
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: don't need nothing, Carl. You still have your dog? Right,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: fancy fancy Yes, big bear, big dopmen walking around the house.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Oh you do have your dogs? Yeah? Yeah, I've seen bad. Yeah,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: you a little bit, you a lot. Where was bad
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: when we were at your house for your birthday? Oh
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: thank god you had him put up? Yeah you put up?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Thank god, because surely you don't like that. No, but
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you know what I'm I'm trying this year. I've made
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: it a decision to try to like dogs, to try
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to get over my fear of dogs. Okay, sure I did.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: I did I'm you're scared of all dog little dogs. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I am, and I The thing about it is is
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: that I like them, but I have some sort of
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: unnatural fear, and um, they always sense it and they
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: are always all over me. They love me. But I'm
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: gonna try and get hypnotized or something to get rid
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: of ittiz. Yeah, because you can get hypnotized. It's called
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: fear of dogs. It is called cenophobia something like that.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: It's a phobiabia. But that they happened to you, Shirley,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: it's a little bit. I mean, you know, they were
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: just loose. Dogs were all over our neighborhood. And you know,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: we lived in the third floor floor of our apartment
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: building in Chicago. The second floor had a huge, gigantic,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: very mean, ambitious German shepherd who would get out and
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: chase me. I never got bitten or anything like that,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: but it was very very close. Yeah. Yeah, dogs were
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: all over the place. So yeah, I just I never
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: had a good experience with them, but I like them
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: and I want to get over it. So I'm gonna
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: get hypnotized. I'll let you know when it happens. I
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: don't know if my life Yeah, I don't know. If
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: I don't, it'll make me get a dog. I don't know.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I'll have to see. I have to see, because like
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Steve said, it's a big responsibility and su you do
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: not need that, you don't think so No, No, you
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: don't need to own the dogs. And you ain't even
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: gott over being scared and sitting on the wall going down.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: She didn't win out of town and yeah, that's what
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: I want to do. That. That's my biggest fear of
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: touching them. What Junior, I hate you. What did you
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: just so Nesto and the dog ain't eating both of them?
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Well the dog food, that's simple. Write you to scrip
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: open a bag and pour it right, look anything for
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: the dog that took anything. But I know, I don't know.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: I just want to get over it. I'm tired of
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: being afraid. But you're gonna have to pat the dogs.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Dogs need love and attention. You got him, Yeah all that,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: But I mean that's part of I would think that
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: would be part of the process. That would be part
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: of the process to learn how to touch them and
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: love them and you know, people cuddle with them. Yeah. See,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you don't need to own a dog. To do that
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: because if it don't work out for you, now, you
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: didn't bought this damn dog. Now he just over there
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: in the cage. Oh, he and maximum security. I wouldn't
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: put him in one hour a day for your exercise.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't put him in a cage. Or you have
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: to fine, you have to put your dog. I know
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: people that don't put dogs in cages. Our dog has
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: He stays in the room at night. Oh okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: just in a little bit, he's gonna be roaming the house.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: And now, what do you mean in a little bit.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: You know, you've got to get a little bit older.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Oh when he gets told. Yeah, that's what. He's a
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: great dog. Now do you kiss your dog and all that?
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I know people kissing my dog? Did not put him
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: out nowhere near me. I don't let him nick my hand,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: your ass, kiss my dog. I hugged my dog. Hua, Yeah,
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I hold my dog and everything. Does your dog sleep
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in the so it's a little bitty dog. I don't
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: have a big dog like Sea does. Does your dog
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: sleep in the bed with you? No? Oh, Steve, I
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: wish he's not. He's not allowed in the bedroom. Our
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: dog is trained not to get on any furniture. Oh okay, no,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: don't put your paws up on it. He's trained. Huh
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you're a dog man, yeah, uh, Caesar. What's the guy
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: for the dog? The dog Seeson Milan. He came to
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the house to train him one day. We ended up
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: using another trainer, but season Milan told us the biggest
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: mistake that pet owners make dog owners is they try
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: to treat them like they're human. Yeah. Yeah, they say
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: that dogs really enjoy being dogs. They want to be
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: a dog. That's what they are. Naturally, that makes sense.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: They like discipline, they like because they like him, please masters.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: So okay, well, thank you for saying that. That makes
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: me feel better. All right, coming up more of the
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: all right, guys. The last two weeks have been a
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: rollercoaster ride for twenty one Savage and his team. Now
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: ICE has dropped one charge against him, but he's not
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: in the clear yet just yet. BuzzFeed News reports that
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: government attorneys dropped an aggravated felony charge on Tuesday as
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: grounds to deport the Atlanta rapper. It's been confirmed that
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: twenty one Savage does not have a felony on his record,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: as a prior conviction was sealed. Now, immigration officials will
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: make the case to kick twenty one out on the
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: basis of the travel visa he overstayed over a decade ago.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: After bonding out on Wednesday twenty one, Savage is awaiting
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: a deportation hearing and uh, while, guys, this is apparently
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: in line with President Trump's new policy, which is to
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: deport anyone in the process of applying for citizenship and
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: let them back when and if that that application is approved.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: So there you go, Steve, Well, why not, Yeah, really,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: I don't. I don't talk about what deporting this kid does.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: He's making it. He's a productive citizen over here, Yeah,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: or any of the DOCCA people. You know, you know,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: it's so many. It's just you're talking about the president
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: whose wife were talking about that. Yeah, yeah, we're talking
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: about the same president who's great great grandfather probably came
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: over on the boat of some care about his current wife.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, matter of fact, his last two Yeah, I
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: work visas expiring, We talked, we talked about that same
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: and you know, the story finally came out about all
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: illegal immigrants that work at his call. Yes, yes, y yeah,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: I've been saying that, yes you have, yes you have,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Yes you have. He's like, don't look at them. We
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: ain't talking about them. Well, we'll keep you posted on
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: this story. Um. And yesterday, of course, was Valentine's Day,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: and boy, did you guys see Kim Kardashian's Valentine's Day
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: was unforgettable courtesy of her ball or hubby. His name
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: is Kanye West. I don't see it? What do you do?
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: And the legendary Kenny G. Okay, he was. They were
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: in a room he hired to play his saxophone. Okay,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: in a room with a lot of vases, glass vases
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: with one rose each covering the floor of this room.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: Kenney G couldn't even move, Steve. It was just roses everywhere,
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Kenny G playing in the middle of the room. I
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: mean just beautiful. It was beautiful, beautiful. Yeah, it was
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: yea and Kenny G was serenading Kim of course it
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: was real. Yeah, just in their living room, I mean
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: really just roses. Yes, yes, she loved every minute of it.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: And how how could you not? I mean, you know, Kanye,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: this was really romantic. Of him. He just decorated the
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: room with the just beautiful, beautiful roses just filled the room.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: It was so pretty. Yeah. Yeah, she's given it up
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: for her man too. This was an over the top
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: surprise for her, handing him the Best Husband Award for
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: what she says is one of Kanye's most thoughtful gifts ever. Yes,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: and very romantic. Nice way to go, yea. Yeah. I
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: was a little concerned for Kenny G. I was like, dang,
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: what if he moves a little bit left, He's gonna
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: knock all those broken nowhere. But it was really sweet
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: and I love that. I love that you had to
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: put some thought into that. Yeah, shout out to Kenny G.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: He ages will Yeah he does looking good right, same
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: hairstyle and we'll have more of the show. Is that
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: ninety seven? Right after this you're listening to, Jussie Smallett
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: opened up to GMA's Robert Roberts and told his story
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: about his alleged racist and homophobic attack, which occurred in
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Chicago a couple of weeks ago. Small Lett gave a
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: very detailed description of what happened. He also answered a
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: lot of the questions that critics and doubters have had
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: about his story. Small Lette says is disappointing that his
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: attack wasn't captured on video. Take a listen. I went
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: down to where it happened, and I walked them through
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: exactly what happened. And I looked up and I saw
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: that there was a camera directly on the light post
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: that is in the intersection, So I'm like, there it is.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: And then the detective told me that the camera inside
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: of the casing was facing north, so they didn't have it,
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: and that was disappointing. Yeah. Jesse also said that he
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: gave police a description of their body type and believes
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: that the guy who said one hundred percent that the
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: two men and the surveillance photo released by police are
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: the attackers. Now, according to Yeah, he said that now
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: he's that that's them. He said that now. According to TMZ,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: the Chicago police raided the home of the persons of
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: interest and seized two laptops, five bottles of bleach, a
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: red hat. Both of the men were reported to be
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: extras on the set of Empire. Also really Yeah. Also,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Multiple sources have told Chicago ABC seven Eye Witnessed News
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: that police are investigating whether Jessie Smalleett and the two
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: men staged the attack. Now, that was the latest thing
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: that came out, allegedly because Smallette was being written out
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: of Empire. However, a Chicago police spokesman by the name
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: of Anthony Googliemi says that there's no evidence to support
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: that report from ABC seven I witness news in Chicago.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: I can tell you right now that really I don't
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: only know how that would make sense, Yeah, that somebody
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: would stage getting jumped on to save your role on
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: a show, right because you thought you were getting written out. Yeah,
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: but how does that make any sense? And he's such
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: a prominent character, it just doesn't make me live. Yeah.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: But but Fox exex came out and said that's definitely
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: not the case. They weren't planning on firing him or anything. Yeah,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: he's a core part of that show. Yeah he is.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: He is a major storyline yeah on the shows. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: this case yeah yeah. And we'll keep you posted, of
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: course as the news comes to us. Yeah. Uh. The
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: nominees for the NAACP Image Awards were announced and Regina King,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Shadwick Boseman, Jessie Smallett, and It's Array are just a
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: few of those up for recognition, and congratulations to our
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: very own guests who Steve Harvey, Okay, d you were
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host for Family Feud, which
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: you start today. Congratulations on that you didn't know. You
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: didn't know because it sounds like surprise. Yeah, I didn't
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: know you. They don't cantare you? Wow, you've been working
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: that hard getting the heads up. No, maybe I should
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: fire some people whatever. Shocked. Yeah, I'm in. I'm in
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: the news in the damn ways will be forsoe well.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Congratulations Steve, Outstanding Game Show Hosts for Family Feud. The
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: Image Award celebrates excellence by people of color and movies, TV, music,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: and literature. The fiftieth Annual NAACP Awards airs on March
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: thirtieth on TV one. Congratulations again, all right, thank you.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: We will be back with closing remarks from the one
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey right after this at forty nine,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: after you're listening to show last break of the day,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Steve on this Friday, great show. We have fun. Yeah okay,
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: And as Steve, our closing remarks are back as well.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: What you have for us here we go. Here's a
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: suggestion here's what I came up with for today, a
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: suggestion something I've learned that has helped me out dramatically
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: in accomplishing my goals and attaining my dreams. I still
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: have things I'm after, Steve, or have goals that have
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: not yet met in dreams that I haven't seen come
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: true yet, but I'm working on them and I know
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: they will. And i know they will because I have
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: mastered one technique of how to do it. I'm gonna
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: share it with you right now. If you are wanting
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: something from God, this is just for spiritual people. If
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: you're not a spiritual person, you can go and do
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: what you want to do right now. Only this is
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: for people who believe in God. When I want something
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: for God, when I'm trying to reach a certain goal
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: or fulfill a dream or attain something, I never go
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: about it without his help. You know, the things that
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: I do on my own, I'm just doing them, you know,
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: Like you know, I don't simple stuff, you know, like
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: make sure I got water in my office so I
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: could drink enough. Now I don't, I can do that right.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: But let's say I have an aspiration or a dream
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: that's pretty big as are most of mine and as
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: should yours be. You should dream as big as you
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: possibly can. You should let your imagination lead you into
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: the life that God has for you. Not. A way
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: to do that is to first of all, ask, because
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: the scripture says you have not because you ask not,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: And then you have to believe. You have to have
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: faith that God can do anything but fail. The third
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: thing you need is a work ethic, an unrelenting work ethic.
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: There's a scripture that says faith without works is dead.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: So after you ask for this incredible dream or vision
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: or goal that you have, and you put the faith
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: in it, the belief, you gotta work because faith without
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: works is dead. Okay, cool. Now, the best way to
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: accomp your dreams and gifts, First of all, you should
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: tie it to your I mean your goals and gifts.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: Your goals and dreams you have to tie to your gift.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: Everything should be tied to your gift. Now, if you
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: want an airplane or go on special trips has nothing
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: to do with your gift. But the route that you're
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: gonna get to this goal and to this dream has
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: to be tied to your gift. Okay. Now, once you
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: do that, and you ask God for something that's impossible,
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: be careful who you share it with, because sharing things
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: from your imagination is not always in your best interest.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: Because your imagination is yours and yours alone. Other people
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: can't see it, they don't see no way how. They
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: just start shooting it down. But when you do ask
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: God for this incredible thing, listen to me. The how
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: too is out of your business. Let me repeat that.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: When you ask God for your visions, your goals, your dreams,
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: your aspirations, and you believe He'll do it, and you're
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: willing to work as hard as you can to accomplish it,
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: that's all that's required of you. The how to is
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: none of your business. Get out of the way. The
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: reason there is no scripture that tells us as people
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: to figure it out is because if you're asking God
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: for something so big, you gotta leave it up to him.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: You gotta let him have let The how to is
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: not any of your business. The how too is not
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: up to you. It's up to your faith and your
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: belief in a higher power. Stop tripping on the how too.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: It ain't your business. The reason the how to is
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: not up to you I have found in My life
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: is for this reason right here, because my ways and
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: my understanding is not enough to get me to where
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: I want to go. Be half entertained to where I
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: want to go be have entertained. My ways and my
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: understanding is not enough because I'm asking God for something
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: so huge that I don't know how to get it,
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: but I know that he does. You can't even fathom
