- 0:01Speaker 1: Center.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Nice to be with you in the studio as always.
- 0:03Speaker 2: You just got back from the border, and I want
- 0:05Speaker 2: to get into this. It's not really shocking, but it's
- 0:09Speaker 2: very concerning now from a national security standpoint. How bad
- 0:13Speaker 2: has it gotten compared to what it was even just
- 0:14Speaker 2: last time you were there.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Well, it keeps getting worse and worse. So I was
- 0:18Speaker 1: down on the border Thursday and Friday of last week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: and so the Senate was in session. I was in
- 0:24Speaker 1: DC until Thursday afternoon and then jumped on a plane
- 0:28Speaker 1: and I flew down to McCallen Thursday night, and I
- 0:30Speaker 1: brought along with me four other Senators, John Cornyn, and
- 0:33Speaker 1: he and I often host our colleagues down at the
- 0:36Speaker 1: southern border, and we also had with us John Barrosso
- 0:39Speaker 1: and Mike Lee and Pete Ricketts, and so the five
- 0:43Speaker 1: of us came down. We landed. The first thing we did,
- 0:45Speaker 1: we went straight from the airport to the midnight muster
- 0:49Speaker 1: of the Border patrol agents and there were about fifty
- 0:53Speaker 1: Border patrol agents gathered the musters where they sit and
- 0:56Speaker 1: talk right before they go out on duty. And we
- 1:00Speaker 1: had a good discussion with the border patrol agents. Really,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I just stood up and told them thank you. More
- 1:04Speaker 1: than anything, I wanted them to hear from me, thank you,
- 1:08Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. To tell them and I said
- 1:10Speaker 1: exactly this. I said, Listen, I travel all over Texas,
- 1:13Speaker 1: I travel all over the country. You need to know
- 1:16Speaker 1: that the American people appreciate what you're doing. Their morale's
- 1:19Speaker 1: low right now, it's incredibly low. I mean that they
- 1:22Speaker 1: are working for bosses who undermined them, who undercut them,
- 1:25Speaker 1: who make their jobs impossible to do. All right, I'll
- 1:28Speaker 1: tell you something. So we did, each of us spoke
- 1:30Speaker 1: to them a few minutes, and we open it up
- 1:32Speaker 1: for Q and A, and we asked the border patrol agents, Okay,
- 1:36Speaker 1: what should we know that we don't know. One of
- 1:39Speaker 1: the things we learned which I had never heard, which
- 1:42Speaker 1: is in the past year, the Biden administration has put
- 1:45Speaker 1: out new guidelines for pursuit of illegal aliens. This is
- 1:49Speaker 1: illegal aliens that are running, that are trying to get away.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And the guidelines you'd have to effectively call them guidelines
- 1:55Speaker 1: for non pursuit because they are told you cannot pursue
- 2:00Speaker 1: illegal aliens if there is anything that could potentially endanger
- 2:04Speaker 1: someone's safety. So what does that mean? It means if
- 2:08Speaker 1: in a car they have four people in the back
- 2:11Speaker 1: seat and you know there are only three seat belts,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you're not allowed to pursue them. Just let them go,
- 2:17Speaker 1: Just let them go. It means if they run a
- 2:19Speaker 1: stop sign, you must immediately stop pursuing them and let
- 2:23Speaker 1: them go. And what they said happens is a practical matter.
- 2:26Speaker 1: They said, look, the cartels know this memo has gone out,
- 2:30Speaker 1: the memo of non pursuit, and so when they see
- 2:33Speaker 1: someone and try to apprehend them, if they have illegal
- 2:36Speaker 1: aliens hiding like huddled down, they'll all sit up so
- 2:39Speaker 1: you can see. Wait, there are more of us though,
- 2:41Speaker 1: there are seat belts, and the border patrol agents have
- 2:44Speaker 1: to stop and just let them drive away. Wow.
- 2:47Speaker 3: And it came down, I'm assuming, from the top from Mayorcis.
- 2:49Speaker 1: In the past year. It was written instruction basically that
- 2:53Speaker 1: they're prevented from pursuing. And they said things like the
- 2:56Speaker 1: stop signs that the coyotes now know, Okay, break a
- 3:00Speaker 1: traffic law immediately as soon as you see border patrol
- 3:03Speaker 1: do something dangerous, run a stop sign and run a
- 3:05Speaker 1: red light, any feed whatever, because the instant you do that,
- 3:09Speaker 1: they're required to stop pursuit. And of course, so it's
- 3:12Speaker 1: encouraging them to run red lights and do things that
- 3:14Speaker 1: are dangerous because of the idiocy of the policy. All right,
- 3:19Speaker 1: So we did that. Then we went out on midnight patrol,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and that's something I do almost every time. I'm down
- 3:24Speaker 1: at the border and you go out and you're looking
- 3:27Speaker 1: to see where illegal aliens are. And we were out
- 3:33Speaker 1: maybe forty five minutes to an hour when we encountered
- 3:37Speaker 1: a group. This group was a group mostly of women
- 3:41Speaker 1: and children. It was about maybe twenty women and children,
- 3:45Speaker 1: mostly kids. And we stood there and we talked to
- 3:49Speaker 1: them for about thirty forty minutes, and we asked them
- 3:53Speaker 1: where they were from. They were from Guatemala, they were
- 3:58Speaker 1: from El Salvador. A number of them were unaccompanied miners.
- 4:03Speaker 1: There was one little girl, a very cute little girl,
- 4:06Speaker 1: was thirteen years old. She had no family with her.
- 4:10Speaker 1: There was another boy who was fifteen years old. He
- 4:14Speaker 1: had no family with her. There was another girl who
- 4:17Speaker 1: was sixteen years old. She had no family with her.
- 4:20Speaker 1: They're all in this group. So we asked them. We said, okay,
- 4:23Speaker 1: well where are you going? And they told different places
- 4:28Speaker 1: they were going. One said he was going to Oregon.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Another said she was going to Virginia and we said,
- 4:36Speaker 1: well where, you know where? And their answer was the
- 4:40Speaker 1: same every one of them. They said their teal was there.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Teo is Spanish for uncle, meet tal, meet thial. And
- 4:48Speaker 1: we'd ask, okay, so does your uncle know you're coming? No,
- 4:54Speaker 1: And it started to really dawn on us in a
- 4:56Speaker 1: really depressing way that these kids weren't going to an uncle,
- 5:02Speaker 1: that they were being they're being trafficked, they're being sent somewhere.
- 5:07Speaker 1: They're all told to say they're going to see their theo.
- 5:12Speaker 1: We asked them how many of them had experienced violence
- 5:18Speaker 1: and assault on the trip. I have to say, Ben,
- 5:24Speaker 1: the look on those kids' faces.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Because they know what you're asking.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Their look answered it, and they basically just said it's everywhere,
- 5:36Speaker 1: it's constant. The one that was haunting for me was
- 5:42Speaker 1: in the back. There was this man, a grown man,
- 5:44Speaker 1: maybe thirty five years old, and he was with a
- 5:47Speaker 1: little girl who was ten, and he said she was
- 5:55Speaker 1: his daughter. She said he was her dad. It was
- 6:00Speaker 1: obvious to everyone he was lying, he was not her father.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He had his arm around her and it was like
- 6:07Speaker 1: locked tight, like he was holding her almost so she
- 6:11Speaker 1: wouldn't run away. And the look of terror in that
- 6:18Speaker 1: little girl's face. She was so frightened of this large,
- 6:25Speaker 1: sweaty man who had his arm around her and was
- 6:29Speaker 1: saying he was her father. And there's a frustration and
- 6:33Speaker 1: helplessness that there's nothing we can do. That's nothing the
- 6:35Speaker 1: border could patrol can do, because when they take them in,
- 6:41Speaker 1: the Biden administration instructs them release them. And you know,
- 6:46Speaker 1: during the Trump administration, they had a policy that they
- 6:49Speaker 1: were DNA testing in particular adult man who would present
- 6:54Speaker 1: with young children and claim to be their fathers, because
- 6:56Speaker 1: this was a persistent problem, and they DNA tests them
- 6:59Speaker 1: nor of thirty percent of them had no match. They
- 7:03Speaker 1: were not their fathers. Now, think for a second about
- 7:07Speaker 1: what the risks are of handing a ten year old girl, oh,
- 7:10Speaker 1: grow a man who a grown man who is not
- 7:13Speaker 1: her father. And the reason for this is the policy
- 7:19Speaker 1: under Obama and the policy under Biden is if you
- 7:22Speaker 1: show up with a kid, you get let go immediately.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And so there's a value to bring that child, to
- 7:27Speaker 1: bring story. The cartels effectively rent these kids. But I
- 7:32Speaker 1: gotta say it was sick looking at that little girl
- 7:37Speaker 1: in any sane world, you'd say, get your damn hands.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Off her, and we're gonna DNA test.
- 7:42Speaker 1: We're going to DNA test you, and when we find
- 7:46Speaker 1: out you're not her dad, you're going to be arrested.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Can they even separate the way from the child.
- 7:52Speaker 1: But Biden canceled the DNA tests, Like you want to
- 7:55Speaker 1: talk about one of the great scandals, these Democrats who
- 8:00Speaker 1: who prance around and say they're so compassionate. They no
- 8:04Speaker 1: longer test to find out if father and alleged daughter
- 8:08Speaker 1: or father an alleged son are related because they don't
- 8:11Speaker 1: want to know, they don't care. They are perfectly happy
- 8:15Speaker 1: just leaving a pedophile with a little girl or a
- 8:18Speaker 1: little boy who's being abused. I mean, it's sick. I've
- 8:21Speaker 1: never seen so. I've raised this in judiciary committeings repeatedly.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I've never seen a Democrat give any reason, compassionate, rational
- 8:30Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you DNA test it when you know.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Because you could accept the trafficking at that moment.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But they don't want to that. Their objective is to
- 8:38Speaker 1: be efficient. They want it to be fast. They want more,
- 8:41Speaker 1: more and more and more and more. I got to
- 8:44Speaker 1: say it was and all five of us. I mean,
- 8:49Speaker 1: we were shaken up. When you're looking at little girls,
- 8:54Speaker 1: all or almost all of whom had been sexually assaulted recently,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you could tell the trauma was evident in everything about them,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and it's horrifying. The little thirteen year old girl, she
- 9:08Speaker 1: was going to see her teo. She just had a
- 9:10Speaker 1: number to call. Sarah Carter from Fox News was there
- 9:16Speaker 1: and she said, oh, you want to call him? I
- 9:18Speaker 1: have a cell phone. Do you want to call him
- 9:19Speaker 1: here on my phone? No? No, no, no, no, like
- 9:22Speaker 1: with absolute fear.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Look, and this is every day, all day, twenty four
- 9:27Speaker 3: hours a day.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Now, in all likelihood, that little girl is going to
- 9:33Speaker 1: spend the next several years trapped in forced prostitution. And
- 9:40Speaker 1: that was one day, in one hour. There's a reason
- 9:43Speaker 1: it was interesting. We were talking to the border patrol
- 9:45Speaker 1: agents and we were asking, Okay, do Democrats come down here?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Do they see this? And they said no, and they
- 9:51Speaker 1: said they don't. And they said there are a couple
- 9:54Speaker 1: who've come down and they said they do totally different
- 9:56Speaker 1: things than you guys the Republicans do. They said they
- 9:59Speaker 1: will ever go out on midnight patrol because they don't
- 10:02Speaker 1: want to actually see the kids who are being abused,
- 10:07Speaker 1: because I guess then they would have to lie about
- 10:08Speaker 1: it if they've never seen it. What they do instead
- 10:11Speaker 1: is they go in to the headquarters. They don't want
- 10:14Speaker 1: to actually see the illegal aliens, and they say, Okay, Tuck,
- 10:17Speaker 1: talk to us about what kind of food you're giving
- 10:19Speaker 1: and what kind of medical care you're giving and what
- 10:21Speaker 1: kind of Their whole focus is like a welfare worker,
- 10:24Speaker 1: where they assume the border patrol is a bad guy
- 10:26Speaker 1: and can we give them more stuff? Is basically what
- 10:31Speaker 1: the handful of Democrats who go down there do now,
- 10:34Speaker 1: mind you, Kamala Harris has been to the southern borders
- 10:38Speaker 1: zero times since she became the borders are Joe Biden
- 10:43Speaker 1: has ostensibly been to the border once he went to
- 10:45Speaker 1: El Paso, except when he went there, he didn't go
- 10:48Speaker 1: to any border, any migrant facilities, and his advanced team
- 10:52Speaker 1: cleared all the illegal immigrants off the street. So he
- 10:55Speaker 1: went to a bridge, he met with some government officials,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and he left and according to the White House, he
- 11:00Speaker 1: did not see a single illegal alien. That is a heartlessness,
- 11:05Speaker 1: because when you see these people, by the way, we
- 11:07Speaker 1: did that on midnight patrol also in that group was
- 11:09Speaker 1: a couple, a husband and wife with a little girl
- 11:13Speaker 1: that were from Moldova. The little girl was beautiful, blonde,
- 11:16Speaker 1: blonde curls, maybe two three years old, a gorgeous little girl.
- 11:21Speaker 1: They had gone from Moldova to Holland, to South America,
- 11:29Speaker 1: to Central America, to Mexico, and then trafficked up into
- 11:33Speaker 1: the United States, a many month trip to come from Moldova.
- 11:39Speaker 1: And I'll tell you that couple, it was evident they
- 11:42Speaker 1: had gone through hell, especially the Eastern Europeans. The Border
- 11:48Speaker 1: of Patrol agents told us they will never tell you
- 11:50Speaker 1: what happened to them. That they're very disciplined, like if
- 11:53Speaker 1: you ask, they're just they don't answer questions. No, no, no,
- 11:56Speaker 1: they won't. They said they're from Moldova, that's it. But
- 11:59Speaker 1: they won't describe what They're too afraid of the cartels.
- 12:03Speaker 1: They're too afraid of what the cartels would do to
- 12:04Speaker 1: them that they won't describe what happened. But again, it
- 12:10Speaker 1: was obvious these people had gone through hell. And it
- 12:15Speaker 1: makes you angry because this is entirely preventable. And the
- 12:21Speaker 1: reporters Kareem John Pierre, We've talked about this a lot
- 12:25Speaker 1: on the pod stood up and said, well, people are
- 12:27Speaker 1: not just walking across the border. And you remember I
- 12:29Speaker 1: invited her. I said, kareem, come with me.
- 12:31Speaker 3: And I'll show you them walking across the border.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Within an hour. And this last time we found this
- 12:35Speaker 1: group within an hour.
- 12:36Speaker 3: How big was the group?
- 12:37Speaker 1: About twenty mostly kids, little little kids, three and four
- 12:42Speaker 1: year old kids, teenagers, several moms, a couple of men,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but it was mostly women and children. And the border
- 12:53Speaker 1: patrol agents told us they said, in all likelihood, every
- 12:55Speaker 1: one of these children has been sexually abused repeatedly once
- 13:00Speaker 1: that that's just part of the trip being trafficked, is
- 13:06Speaker 1: that you are going to be violently raped repeatedly. And
- 13:12Speaker 1: I don't understand how if you're Joe Biden, if you're
- 13:15Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer, how you don't care about that.
- 13:19Speaker 2: You've seen this a lot. The others that were with
- 13:22Speaker 2: you when they left, what was their demeanor. I mean,
- 13:26Speaker 2: you bring other sinners with you, some of them not
- 13:29Speaker 2: from border states.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It's disturbing at a level, like when you see it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: It's different when you look in the eyes of a
- 13:38Speaker 1: ten year old girl who is with an adult male
- 13:42Speaker 1: pretending to be her father. You want to rescue that girl. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 1: but there's nothing you can do there in custody.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Can they even you know, like when you have normal
- 13:53Speaker 2: investigations us and something happens, they'll usually separate.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Even if you're two good guys, they'll separate you to
- 13:59Speaker 3: get your.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Stories to see And I've been told the Biden administration
- 14:02Speaker 2: doesn't even allow them to be separated anymore.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Is that. Well, the bar patrol will do some investigation
- 14:07Speaker 1: if they're behaving very unusually, we'll do some investigation, and
- 14:12Speaker 1: they will occasionally find people who are obviously abusing kids,
- 14:17Speaker 1: but that's not their mandate. Their mandate is process as
- 14:22Speaker 1: fast as possible.
- 14:23Speaker 3: So it's churn and burn.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's speed. And by the way, look.
- 14:28Speaker 2: And that really happened to go back in time to
- 14:30Speaker 2: remind people when there was a humanitarian issue and there
- 14:33Speaker 2: were some people into that bridge and they started getting
- 14:35Speaker 2: the drones up and the media were covering it, and
- 14:37Speaker 2: there was tens of thousands of people under this bridge.
- 14:40Speaker 2: It was a humanitarian pr problem. That's when they went
- 14:44Speaker 2: into full expedite and get as fast as they come
- 14:47Speaker 2: in release them so that we don't look like we
- 14:49Speaker 2: have a problem at the border with a bunch of
- 14:51Speaker 2: people gathering.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And by the way, release them means send them to
- 14:55Speaker 1: every city in America. Yeah, you look at this supplemental
- 14:58Speaker 1: bill that the Biden White House wants Israel military funding,
- 15:03Speaker 1: but they also want Ukraine added to it. They also
- 15:05Speaker 1: want what they call border security, which has nothing to
- 15:07Speaker 1: do with border security. It's a whole bunch of money
- 15:10Speaker 1: for more people to process illegal aliens faster, to put
- 15:13Speaker 1: them on more buses and more planes. All right. That
- 15:15Speaker 1: was Thursday night. Friday morning, we wake up, we meet
- 15:18Speaker 1: with senior leadership of the Border Patrol for a briefing
- 15:21Speaker 1: on what's happening. The numbers that continue to skyrocket were
- 15:25Speaker 1: upwards of seven point nine million illegal aliens under Joe Biden,
- 15:29Speaker 1: seven point nine million. After that, we went to the
- 15:37Speaker 1: Ursula facility, which is a facility that is processing illegal immigrants.
- 15:42Speaker 1: There were hundreds and hundreds of illegal immigrants and holding cells.
- 15:45Speaker 1: They separate them. So there were adult males. There were
- 15:48Speaker 1: adult males with criminal convictions. They get lots of adult
- 15:51Speaker 1: males with criminal convictions, they separate them. That's just us convictions.
- 15:55Speaker 1: By the way, they don't know if they have convictions
- 15:56Speaker 1: in Honduras or El Salvador or Venezuela. That's just if
- 16:00Speaker 1: you ask criminal convictions. There are single women. There was
- 16:05Speaker 1: a separate holding cell for pregnant women, filled with pregnant women.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Who have kids in America.
- 16:13Speaker 1: They will have kids in America that will be US citizens.
- 16:15Speaker 1: There right there, there was another cell that was just
- 16:20Speaker 1: for people that are sick, that are coming in with
- 16:23Speaker 1: infectious diseases. You look at this, and by the way,
- 16:27Speaker 1: these cells the illegal immigrants are many of them are
- 16:31Speaker 1: sleeping on the floor. They're packed in side by side
- 16:35Speaker 1: like sardines. I mean a cell will be oh, I
- 16:38Speaker 1: don't know, thirty feet wide by sixty feet long, something
- 16:43Speaker 1: like that, and you'll have one hundred illegal immigrants in
- 16:46Speaker 1: there and they'll be lying on the floor, side by
- 16:49Speaker 1: side by side, covered in reflective blankets, looks like tinfoil,
- 16:55Speaker 1: and they're just in there. That's every day. By the way,
- 16:58Speaker 1: those remember the kids in cages, Yeah, those are the
- 17:01Speaker 1: Biden cages. They're still there. And no Democrat cares, Nobody
- 17:07Speaker 1: in the media. Nope, it just it doesn't matter at all.
- 17:11Speaker 1: From there, we went to a stash house. So this
- 17:13Speaker 1: is a stash house. They had just busted. The stash
- 17:18Speaker 1: house was an incredibly dilapidated, nasty house. They had busted it,
- 17:27Speaker 1: and they found two illegals held in there right there,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and so they arrested them. We saw them pulling them
- 17:32Speaker 1: out in handcuffs as we arrived. I mean we were
- 17:34Speaker 1: there minutes after they busted it. Those tend to be
- 17:38Speaker 1: much more dangerous illegal aliens. Why because the ones that
- 17:44Speaker 1: are more dangerous try to run an escape. Many of
- 17:48Speaker 1: them just turned themselves in. But if you've got a
- 17:50Speaker 1: criminal conviction, if you're a gang member, if you're MS thirteen,
- 17:53Speaker 1: if you're a murderer, a rapist, a child molestor if
- 17:55Speaker 1: you're a terrorist, those are the ones that want to
- 17:58Speaker 1: be got aways. And so the cartels will put them
- 18:01Speaker 1: in stash houses and hold them for a day or
- 18:04Speaker 1: two and then try to put them on a bus
- 18:05Speaker 1: or you know, put them on some transport to get
- 18:08Speaker 1: get them into the interior. So these stash houses are
- 18:11Speaker 1: located all over the place, down on the southern border.
- 18:14Speaker 1: This stash house, like we opened the door, it was
- 18:16Speaker 1: this totally dilapidated house. There were there were wet clothes.
- 18:21Speaker 1: They had clearly closed across the river recently because they
- 18:24Speaker 1: were soaking wet clothes that were just thrown on the
- 18:26Speaker 1: ground right there. There were piles of clothing, shoes, shirts,
- 18:32Speaker 1: I mean just piled up. There was one tiny little
- 18:35Speaker 1: air conditioner in the house, but the walls were falling down.
- 18:40Speaker 1: The house was filthy, it's stunk and that, and and
- 18:45Speaker 1: they don't know who owned it that. They said, that
- 18:46Speaker 1: house has probably been rented to twenty different people. They'll
- 18:49Speaker 1: try to track down. But the cartels, by the way,
- 18:52Speaker 1: there was a lock on the outside, so they put
- 18:54Speaker 1: the illegals in there and lock them in.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 18:59Speaker 1: There was not a caretaker there when they busted it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: So sometimes they'll have the cartel person watching them. And look.
- 19:05Speaker 1: The stash houses are also where they will rape women. Again.
- 19:08Speaker 1: They will shake people down for more money. In that case,
- 19:11Speaker 1: they were just holding these two guys. The two guys
- 19:14Speaker 1: they pulled out were both single adult men, I'd say
- 19:18Speaker 1: twenties or thirties, military age men, lots of tats, pretty
- 19:22Speaker 1: rough looking guys. They got pulled out in handcuffs. We
- 19:25Speaker 1: don't know their story. From there. We went out on
- 19:31Speaker 1: horseback patrol, and so the border Patrol has a whole
- 19:35Speaker 1: division that is on horseback because much of the terrain
- 19:37Speaker 1: there you can't even get to with vehicles. And so
- 19:40Speaker 1: we spent about an hour on horseback patrolling and riding
- 19:44Speaker 1: along the Rio Grande. Then we met with local leaders,
- 19:49Speaker 1: including the mayor of a big Mexican city on the
- 19:52Speaker 1: other side of the border, who was expressing enormous frustration. Said, look,
- 19:55Speaker 1: your policies are killing us, are resulting in my city
- 19:59Speaker 1: be invaded. He said, We've got tens of thousands of
- 20:03Speaker 1: people camping out in my city because when they come
- 20:05Speaker 1: to the United States, you guys let him go. Now,
- 20:08Speaker 1: his argument, what he wanted is he said, couldn't you
- 20:11Speaker 1: just take him at the embassy so they don't have
- 20:12Speaker 1: to come to the border. Look, he was fine with
- 20:14Speaker 1: us letting him all in. He just didn't want them
- 20:17Speaker 1: to have to cross through his city. So he's like,
- 20:19Speaker 1: can't you be even more efficient and like flying from
- 20:21Speaker 1: Mexico City or something. I wasn't terribly interested in that suggestion.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Yeah, fair point.
- 20:26Speaker 1: And then the last thing we did is we went
- 20:28Speaker 1: out with border patrol on the boat went up and
- 20:31Speaker 1: down the river. It was interesting, you're going to up
- 20:33Speaker 1: and down the river all along the shore. We probably
- 20:38Speaker 1: saw twenty different discarded rafts that are like green vinyl,
- 20:43Speaker 1: but they were done. They were sort of you know,
- 20:45Speaker 1: thracks out and just just laying along the laying along
- 20:49Speaker 1: the shore, probably twenty of them that had been used
- 20:51Speaker 1: to either shuttle illegal aliens or shuttle drugs. And then
- 20:57Speaker 1: several times we saw people that the Border Patrol agent
- 20:59Speaker 1: said were cartel scouts that were just Mexicans on the
- 21:05Speaker 1: Mexican side of the border. They were like standing a
- 21:07Speaker 1: little bit in the river and like pretending to fish
- 21:09Speaker 1: or something, but they weren't really fishing. They were there
- 21:11Speaker 1: watching us to radio back, Okay, here's what the Border
- 21:14Speaker 1: Patrol is doing. And then we ended with a press conference.
- 21:18Speaker 1: But you know the press conference, we tried to talk
- 21:20Speaker 1: about what happened. What is happening at the border is
- 21:23Speaker 1: horrific and it keeps getting words.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I want to tell you real quick about our friends
- 21:29Speaker 2: that Gusta precious metals. If you're like me and you've
- 21:31Speaker 2: wanted to buy gold for years, there's lots of commercials
- 21:34Speaker 2: out there, so who can you really trust. Well, I
- 21:38Speaker 2: didn't want a bad investment, but I didn't want to
- 21:41Speaker 2: miss the boat either and that probably sounds familiar to
- 21:44Speaker 2: a lot of you.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Fortunately for you, I've got great news.
- 21:47Speaker 2: If you have an IRA or a four oh one
- 21:50Speaker 2: K and want to buy physical gold, eliminate fear and
- 21:54Speaker 2: uncertainty from the process using the new Gold Ira Company
- 21:59Speaker 2: in Pegrity checklists. It helps you evaluate and choose the
- 22:03Speaker 2: best gold IRA company now. I used it personally to
- 22:07Speaker 2: vet Augusta Precious Medals and I bought gold from Augusta
- 22:11Speaker 2: Precious Medals myself. In fact, just a few weeks ago,
- 22:14Speaker 2: I got a new package with new gold and silver
- 22:18Speaker 2: that I decided to purchase. This checklist is the best
- 22:22Speaker 2: way for you to check out a gold IRA company
- 22:25Speaker 2: and you can get your free Gold IRA Company Integrity
- 22:29Speaker 2: checklist today. All you have to do is text the
- 22:31Speaker 2: word ben to six eight five nine to two. Text

- 22:39Speaker 2: nine two. That's the word ben b e N to
- 22:42Speaker 2: six ' eight five nine to two. Or you can
- 22:44Speaker 2: go online to Augusta Precious Metals dot com or call
- 22:48Speaker 2: them and get the investors got on gold eight seven
- 22:51Speaker 2: seven the number four Gold Ira. That's eight seven seven
- 22:55Speaker 2: the number four Goldira or Augusta Precious Medals dot Com.
- 23:01Speaker 2: There's also saying it's changed, and I really want to
- 23:03Speaker 2: focus on this for a moment before we move on
- 23:05Speaker 2: to other stuff. But there are new threats that are
- 23:09Speaker 2: against our men and women at the border, our border
- 23:11Speaker 2: patrol agents. We're seeing bounties on them. We're seeing people
- 23:16Speaker 2: that are willing to pay for their family's addresses, where
- 23:20Speaker 2: they're hang where they're living, where they're renting with, they're
- 23:23Speaker 2: in a hotel, whatever it may be. There's a new
- 23:27Speaker 2: level of boldness from the cartels that are now saying
- 23:31Speaker 2: we want these border patrol agents to be afraid of
- 23:33Speaker 2: us and not do their job and just disappear.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Look, it is very dangerous. The threats against border patrol
- 23:39Speaker 1: agents are real. Just this past week I sent an
- 23:43Speaker 1: oversight letter to Alejandro Majorcas saying, what are you doing
- 23:46Speaker 1: to protect border patrol agents given these threats, Given that
- 23:48Speaker 1: they're paying for their home addresses, their families addresses, they're
- 23:52Speaker 1: threatening their families, what are you doing? And if you
- 23:54Speaker 1: can't protect your agencies, you need to resign. He needs
- 23:57Speaker 1: to resign regardless.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Is a Republican should take up in the House. We
- 24:01Speaker 2: got a new speaker now, Yes, because there's enough evidence.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Now it's not it's.
- 24:06Speaker 1: A house should impeach Mayorcus, and absolutely yes, for absolute
- 24:11Speaker 1: dereliction of duty, for defying federal law, for facilitating the
- 24:16Speaker 1: invasion of the United States of America by seven point
- 24:19Speaker 1: nine million people, for facilitating the deaths of seven hundred
- 24:24Speaker 1: and fifty three migrants last year. For facilitating the rape
- 24:27Speaker 1: and sexual abuse of thousands of women and thousands of
- 24:30Speaker 1: little children. For one hundred thousand overdoses, including seventy percent
- 24:35Speaker 1: from Chinese fentanyl across the southern border. All of that
- 24:38Speaker 1: Alejandro Majorcus is responsible for. And he doesn't give a dam.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And by the way, you remember when I questioned him
- 24:44Speaker 1: in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. I asked him
- 24:47Speaker 1: about the colored wristbands. He said he had no idea
- 24:49Speaker 1: what they worrer, he'd never seen them before. When I
- 24:51Speaker 1: was down there, I found several colored wristbands just laying
- 24:53Speaker 1: on the ground. It takes you about a minute to
- 24:55Speaker 1: do it. The wristbands. The colors correspond to how many
- 25:00Speaker 1: thousands of dollars they owe the cartels. They are modern
- 25:03Speaker 1: day leg irons. And that group we met, we met
- 25:08Speaker 1: a group of slaves and it's horrified. You feel like
- 25:12Speaker 1: you're back pre Civil war and you encounter slave traders.
- 25:16Speaker 2: People are gonna say, how did you know they're actually slaves?
- 25:18Speaker 2: You're making it up, you're exaggerating. I know the Left
- 25:21Speaker 2: is gonna say when you say you meet slaves, explain that.
- 25:24Speaker 1: When you talk to little girls and they say they're
- 25:26Speaker 1: going to some random too who they don't know his name,
- 25:29Speaker 1: they don't know who he is, they say, oh, he
- 25:31Speaker 1: doesn't know him coming, but I just have a number
- 25:33Speaker 1: to call.
- 25:34Speaker 3: You're in slavery.
- 25:36Speaker 1: You are in slavery. And it sounds harsh to say
- 25:42Speaker 1: Democrats don't care. But if you cared, you do something
- 25:48Speaker 1: about it. If Joe Biden cared, he could stop it.
- 25:53Speaker 1: If Alejandro Mayorks cared, he could stop it. If Democrats
- 25:58Speaker 1: senators cared, they could join us and trying to force
- 26:01Speaker 1: Joe Biden to stop it. But they don't. The Democrat
- 26:04Speaker 1: Senate has zero interest. Look two and a half years
- 26:07Speaker 1: of Biden being president, I have not seen one single
- 26:10Speaker 1: Democrat senator on judiciary question, one single witness about the slavery,
- 26:19Speaker 1: about the sexual assault, about the abuse of migrants by
- 26:23Speaker 1: the traffickers. Now they're all four made up stories. So
- 26:27Speaker 1: you remember there was that whole thing about border patrol
- 26:29Speaker 1: agents or whipping migrants. Yes, and it was a completely
- 26:31Speaker 1: made up lie where they focused on the reins of
- 26:34Speaker 1: the horse. By the way, we were riding those horses.
- 26:36Speaker 1: We have long reins that are used for riding the horse,
- 26:41Speaker 1: but they weren't. I mean, it was a total lie
- 26:44Speaker 1: that got Democrats very excited because they're full investigation.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Ye should be fired immediately.
- 26:50Speaker 1: But when it comes to the cartels, look at lunchtime,
- 26:55Speaker 1: we sat down with local community leaders. We sat down
- 26:58Speaker 1: with the mayor McCallan, who's a Republican, a good friend.
- 27:03Speaker 1: We sat down with the sheriff of Brooks County. Brooks
- 27:06Speaker 1: County is north and where Brooks County is there's a
- 27:10Speaker 1: checkpoint at FW Furious And so what happens is the
- 27:14Speaker 1: smugglers don't want to be caught at the checkpoint, so
- 27:17Speaker 1: they stop south of the checkpoint and they make all
- 27:19Speaker 1: the illegal immigrants get out and they go through Brooks
- 27:23Speaker 1: County to get around the checkpoint. And Brooks County is
- 27:26Speaker 1: a pretty rugged county. It's in the summer time, it's
- 27:30Speaker 1: brutally hot. There's not a lot of water there and
- 27:35Speaker 1: the number of deaths that they find. They just the
- 27:38Speaker 1: farmers and ranchers find dead bodies, one after the other
- 27:41Speaker 1: after the other after the other. There are emergency beacons
- 27:45Speaker 1: that they've installed that have writing for illegal immigrants. The
- 27:49Speaker 1: first language you see is Chinese. Wow, they have writing
- 27:53Speaker 1: in Chinese. They have writing in Arabic, and it's pushed this.
- 27:56Speaker 1: If you're in distress, the border patrol will come rescue you,
- 27:59Speaker 1: but they go off and the coyotes. If you're in distress,
- 28:04Speaker 1: they just abandon you.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Yeah, they don't care if you're a friendant lady.
- 28:06Speaker 1: If you're elderly, if you're a little kid, you will die.
- 28:11Speaker 1: The sheriff of Brooks County had brought a three ring
- 28:14Speaker 1: binder with about one hundred different cases of bodies they'd
- 28:21Speaker 1: found in Brooks County. Wow, and I sat there band
- 28:24Speaker 1: and I flipped through it one at a time. The
- 28:29Speaker 1: conditions of those bodies, I have to tell you, I
- 28:33Speaker 1: was physically ill seeing in the heat. People's face gets charred,
- 28:40Speaker 1: they get blown up and enlarged. Just the effects of
- 28:45Speaker 1: the weather are grotesque. There were multiple young women who
- 28:51Speaker 1: had died, and every one of them had their pants
- 28:56Speaker 1: open and pulled down, and it was clear they'd been
- 29:00Speaker 1: raped before. They died, one after the other after the other.
- 29:06Speaker 1: And I actually made a point, I said, I'm going
- 29:07Speaker 1: to go through this entire book. These are human beings.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I need to see what's happening. I get to say,
- 29:16Speaker 1: I don't know a reporter at CNN or MSNBC or
- 29:20Speaker 1: ABC or CBS or NBC, who goes through that book,
- 29:23Speaker 1: who covers that book, who tells the story. These are
- 29:28Speaker 1: the Biden body bags. These are the people who are
- 29:30Speaker 1: dying because of your policies.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Last question on the border, how concerned re border patrol
- 29:36Speaker 2: agents over the possibility of terrorists not possibility, the reality
- 29:41Speaker 2: that terrorists are coming across at a much higher rate
- 29:44Speaker 2: than we've seen over the last five years combined. We
- 29:46Speaker 2: talked about this on a previous verdict, but this is
- 29:48Speaker 2: the first time you've been down there since these new
- 29:50Speaker 2: numbers have been released that are saying there's a significant
- 29:54Speaker 2: increase of terrorists that are on the terrorists watch list
- 29:58Speaker 2: that we are catching.
- 29:59Speaker 3: The border does counting the ones that were not catching.
- 30:02Speaker 1: So look, they're very concerned. We talked about, particularly with
- 30:05Speaker 1: the war in Israel, Hamas and Hesbela specifically targeting coming
- 30:08Speaker 1: across the border. As we talked about in last week's podcast,
- 30:13Speaker 1: the San Diego Division of the Border Patrol instructed their
- 30:16Speaker 1: agents be on the lookout for people from Hamas and
- 30:19Speaker 1: Hesbela hiding and pretending that they're not in the Rio
- 30:22Speaker 1: Grand Valley. They said they had not encountered recently people
- 30:26Speaker 1: from Hamas and Hesbela, so in the last couple of
- 30:28Speaker 1: weeks that had not yet presented. They're worried about it.
- 30:31Speaker 1: They're watching for it now. It's worth noting if you're
- 30:34Speaker 1: a Hamas terrorist, you're not going to be in the
- 30:39Speaker 1: people that are turning themselves involuntarily. Sure, you're going to
- 30:43Speaker 1: be in the Godaways. And one of the real problem
- 30:45Speaker 1: is the volume is so great that it overwhelms the
- 30:49Speaker 1: Border Patrol agents, so that you have on any given
- 30:54Speaker 1: night no capacity to even chase the Godaways. And so
- 30:58Speaker 1: that evening muster was I was talking with Brandon Judd,
- 31:01Speaker 1: who's the head of the Border Patrol Union, a good friend.
- 31:03Speaker 1: He was with us, and he was saying, he said,
- 31:06Speaker 1: all right, that night, he said, typically that night there
- 31:09Speaker 1: would be about one hundred and seventy agents that are
- 31:11Speaker 1: available to go out on patrol. He said that night
- 31:16Speaker 1: there were thirty one that were available because all of
- 31:19Speaker 1: the rest were doing paperwork and processing and handling the
- 31:22Speaker 1: detention facility. So it should have been one hundred and
- 31:24Speaker 1: seventy some odd instead it was thirty one. That's part
- 31:28Speaker 1: of how the cartels overwhelm us is the bulk of
- 31:31Speaker 1: the manpower is not actually on the border securing it.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Their marsh is a great example. They're off planes now
- 31:36Speaker 2: processing at the border.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Yes, the exact same thing. And then so this group
- 31:41Speaker 1: that they encountered, So this group, there were several agents,
- 31:44Speaker 1: he said, Okay, they're thirty one that started at midnight
- 31:47Speaker 1: out on patrol. This one group, you've got twenty to
- 31:49Speaker 1: twenty five, mostly women and children. You have several agents
- 31:53Speaker 1: to go pick them up. You've got to detain them,
- 31:55Speaker 1: you've got to question them, you've got to process them.
- 31:56Speaker 1: He said, that group will take five to ten off
- 31:59Speaker 1: the field, so that means thirty one becomes twenty one.
- 32:03Speaker 1: By the way, where they were there was no transport bus,
- 32:08Speaker 1: so they had to load them in the back of
- 32:10Speaker 1: pickup trucks. All these kids in the back of pickup
- 32:12Speaker 1: trucks and you know what they told me. They said, okay,
- 32:14Speaker 1: this is against the rules. Yeah, but are they just
- 32:17Speaker 1: supposed to leave them here? What else are they supposed
- 32:19Speaker 1: to do. They don't have any vehicle to put him in,
- 32:21Speaker 1: so they put them in the back of the pickup
- 32:23Speaker 1: truck to take him in the processing center. And he said,
- 32:25Speaker 1: you know what if something happens, if that car gets
- 32:27Speaker 1: an erect, if a kid jumps out the back and
- 32:30Speaker 1: hurts himself, those agents will be disciplined or fired for
- 32:37Speaker 1: transporting them unsafely. And he said, now, there's no alternative
- 32:39Speaker 1: way to transport them. They could leave these children out here,
- 32:42Speaker 1: just say okay bye.
- 32:43Speaker 3: They could die.
- 32:44Speaker 1: There's a reason the Democrats don't come. There's a reason
- 32:48Speaker 1: CNN doesn't come. You cannot see this and spin it
- 32:53Speaker 1: and say, hey, this is great, this is perfectly okay.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Senator, I also want to bring in our guests. We've
- 32:57Speaker 2: talked a lot about kids, protecting kids. We also have
- 33:00Speaker 2: problems in this country where we have basically given our
- 33:03Speaker 2: kids over to the government and parents are trying to
- 33:05Speaker 2: get back in their kids' lives. Have been declared domestic
- 33:08Speaker 2: terrorists by our own government, which is shocking. A good
- 33:12Speaker 2: friend of the show, someone that you used to do
- 33:14Speaker 2: Verdict Plus with. People will know her from that. Liz
- 33:16Speaker 2: Wheeler has her own great show. She's got an incredible
- 33:19Speaker 2: new book out as well, and I know it was
- 33:22Speaker 2: important that we make sure we had her on Verdict.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Well, Liz, welcome back. Liz is my former co host
- 33:27Speaker 1: of Verdict. We did Verdict together. We traveled the country,
- 33:31Speaker 1: We went to college campuses together and dealt with young
- 33:35Speaker 1: leftists who had questions and wanted to be confronted with
- 33:38Speaker 1: the truth. And Liz does an amazing job on our
- 33:41Speaker 1: own show, on the Liz Wheeler Show, and she has
- 33:43Speaker 1: a brand new book, Hide Your Children, exposing the Marxists
- 33:48Speaker 1: behind the attack on American kids.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Liz, welcome back, Senator, Thanks so much for having me.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Thanks Ben, good to have you here.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Tell us a little bit about this book, why you
- 33:58Speaker 2: wanted to write it, and why so important, especially right now.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Yeah, this book started as a question that I think
- 34:05Speaker 4: a lot of parents actually had the same question that
- 34:07Speaker 4: I had during COVID when we saw this increase in
- 34:11Speaker 4: attacks on our children. I mean, all parents had to
- 34:13Speaker 4: do is look over their kids shoulder on zoom school
- 34:15Speaker 4: and they'd see critical race theory and trans ideology, the
- 34:19Speaker 4: sixteen nineteen project, plus good old fashioned moral relativism just
- 34:23Speaker 4: thrown at their kids. And I understand that this isn't
- 34:26Speaker 4: a new thing, that our kids are the target of
- 34:29Speaker 4: the left, but it did seem to be escalating. So
- 34:31Speaker 4: I wondered, well, where is this coming from, Who's behind this,
- 34:34Speaker 4: what's behind this, what's their goal? So the purpose of
- 34:37Speaker 4: this book is I sought to find the answer to
- 34:40Speaker 4: that question, and what I found was both frightening and frustrating.
- 34:44Speaker 4: The frightening part is that the left has spent decades
- 34:48Speaker 4: trying to get to our children, and to do so
- 34:51Speaker 4: they have co opted They've captured what I call four
- 34:54Speaker 4: of the five major cultural institutions, so the media, that's
- 34:57Speaker 4: an obvious one, the education says sadly, a lot of
- 35:01Speaker 4: religious institutions, to the law, which has become evident in
- 35:05Speaker 4: the last couple of years. And now they've set their
- 35:07Speaker 4: sights on the nuclear family, particularly on children. This is
- 35:11Speaker 4: the frightening part. The frustrating part is if this attack
- 35:15Speaker 4: on our children isn't new, if it's been decades in
- 35:17Speaker 4: the making, why haven't we been able to stop this?
- 35:20Speaker 4: What has the Republican Party been doing for all of
- 35:22Speaker 4: these decades to fight back. And so what I do
- 35:25Speaker 4: in the book, the first half of the book is
- 35:27Speaker 4: I name the names of the people and the organizations
- 35:30Speaker 4: that are behind the capture of the institutions, behind the
- 35:32Speaker 4: attack on our kids. And the second half of the
- 35:34Speaker 4: book is a critique of the Republican Party. I offer
- 35:38Speaker 4: a solution that I will tell you is different than
- 35:41Speaker 4: what the Republican Party offers for how we can actually
- 35:44Speaker 4: start winning, how we can recapture our institutions, how we
- 35:47Speaker 4: can protect our kids and therefore our country.
- 35:49Speaker 1: All Right, so let's take those one at a time.
- 35:52Speaker 1: You said the first half of the book, you're naming names.
- 35:54Speaker 1: So who are the biggest names, Who are the individuals
- 35:58Speaker 1: most responsible for the relentless attack on our kids?
- 36:01Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a great question. So what I do in
- 36:03Speaker 4: the book is I make sure to differentiate between the
- 36:06Speaker 4: Marxists who conceived the ideas, many of whom are lung dead,
- 36:11Speaker 4: and the current Marxist, the modern Marxists that are alive
- 36:14Speaker 4: and well in our country today, who are propagating these
- 36:17Speaker 4: ideas on our children. And I'll give you an example
- 36:19Speaker 4: of one of each one of the modern Marxists who's
- 36:22Speaker 4: propagating an entirely destructive ideology in our children is a
- 36:26Speaker 4: woman by the name of Gail Rubin. Gail Rubin is
- 36:30Speaker 4: known as the founder or she wrote the founding document
- 36:33Speaker 4: of queer theory. Queer theory is a neo Marxist theory that,
- 36:38Speaker 4: unsurprising to most of your viewers, is what underpins the
- 36:41Speaker 4: transgender ideology. So these poisonous ideas that are being taught
- 36:45Speaker 4: to children in school right now, that boys can be girls,
- 36:47Speaker 4: girls can be boys. Gender is not connected to biological sex.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Everything's fluid. This is not just a random assortment of nonsense.
- 36:54Speaker 4: This is pulled directly from neo Marxist queer theory, which
- 36:58Speaker 4: was penned by Gail Rubin, who is alive and well
- 37:02Speaker 4: in our country today. And yet most people, maybe in
- 37:05Speaker 4: the past couple months, they've heard about her because I've
- 37:08Speaker 4: been talking so much about her. Most people have never
- 37:10Speaker 4: heard of this woman, even though she's having such a
- 37:12Speaker 4: direct and destructive impact on our children. That's the first example.
- 37:16Speaker 4: The second example I will give is a Marxist who
- 37:18Speaker 4: is long dead, and that's a Marxist, a Brazilian Marxist,
- 37:21Speaker 4: actually by the name of Pallo Friari. He was the
- 37:24Speaker 4: one who contended that teachers in school shouldn't teach children
- 37:29Speaker 4: facts and knowledge, he should teach them a worldview, how
- 37:32Speaker 4: to view the world, and he called this worldview critical consciousness.
- 37:36Speaker 4: What critical consciousness is really is just teaching children to
- 37:39Speaker 4: look at everything through a Marxist lens. And this idea
- 37:43Speaker 4: of critical consciousness is what exists in our public school
- 37:46Speaker 4: system today under the all encompassing, vague umbrella term of wokeness.
- 37:51Speaker 4: So I trace everything back to its origins and show
- 37:54Speaker 4: the manifestations of how it's impacting our kids in our
- 37:57Speaker 4: society in America today.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Liz, I want to ask you about moms specifically. I've
- 38:02Speaker 2: actually been inspired and I think TC and I and
- 38:05Speaker 2: we've been on the road, we've seen this. There are
- 38:07Speaker 2: a lot of moms have gotten off the bench and
- 38:10Speaker 2: are getting really involved with their kids and their kids
- 38:12Speaker 2: curriculum and what's having their schools and what they're being taught.
- 38:17Speaker 2: That's one of the biggest blessings I think of the
- 38:19Speaker 2: COVID lockdowns was moms got to see in the classroom
- 38:22Speaker 2: what was happening with their kids. I'm inspired by that,
- 38:25Speaker 2: and I think this is going to be something that
- 38:28Speaker 2: the liberals are going to have hell to pay now
- 38:29Speaker 2: with moms that are now involved. Is that part of
- 38:31Speaker 2: what you're seeing and inspiring you to write this book.
- 38:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it's incredible to see how many parents, moms and
- 38:37Speaker 4: dads who've had their eyes opened. I think as conservatives,
- 38:40Speaker 4: we're generally people of good faith. We generally like to
- 38:43Speaker 4: give other people the benefit of the doubt. We generally
- 38:45Speaker 4: see the good in humanity, and sometimes because of that,
- 38:48Speaker 4: it can be difficult to look at our political opposition
- 38:52Speaker 4: and label them for what they are. We'd rather say, oh,
- 38:55Speaker 4: you know what, this is a well intentioned, good faith
- 38:57Speaker 4: opposition who just has unwise practical solutions to problems that
- 39:02Speaker 4: we all admit our problems. That's how the Republican Party
- 39:05Speaker 4: actually has operated for the last fifty years. But I
- 39:07Speaker 4: think for the first time in many many parents' lives
- 39:11Speaker 4: during COVID they saw that, No, that's not true. Our
- 39:14Speaker 4: Democrat opposition are not well intentioned, well intentioned opposition who
- 39:18Speaker 4: want the best just ha but have bad ideas for
- 39:20Speaker 4: how to bring that about. They are in fact embracing
- 39:23Speaker 4: Neo Marxist, anti Christian anti Americans, sometimes anti human ideology,
- 39:29Speaker 4: and it's a really important step in fighting back against
- 39:31Speaker 4: this to be able to define what the other side is.
- 39:34Speaker 4: That's why I spent so much time doing that in
- 39:37Speaker 4: the first half of my book, because if we don't
- 39:39Speaker 4: understand the reality of this political enemy we face, we
- 39:42Speaker 4: won't fight well against it. And if we don't fight well,
- 39:45Speaker 4: we won't win. And I'm tired of not winning. I'm
- 39:47Speaker 4: ready to win. As I know everyone watching the show
- 39:50Speaker 4: is too.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Amen. All right, Liz, last question. You said the second
- 39:54Speaker 1: half of the book focuses on a critique of the
- 39:56Speaker 1: Republican Party and what we need to do better to
- 39:59Speaker 1: fight back. What does the Republican Party need to do
- 40:02Speaker 1: to stop this madness?
- 40:04Speaker 4: Honestly, this is the part of the book that I'm
- 40:05Speaker 4: proudest of, and I know it's the part that's ruffled
- 40:07Speaker 4: some feathers a little bit, but I stand by this
- 40:09Speaker 4: one hundred percent. So I'll give you an example of
- 40:11Speaker 4: one of the most interesting pieces of information that I
- 40:14Speaker 4: found in the course of researching this book. Our public
- 40:17Speaker 4: school system was not mandatory. Children were not compelled to
- 40:20Speaker 4: go to public school until you're eighteen fifty two. In
- 40:23Speaker 4: eighteen fifty two, the state of Massachusetts became the first
- 40:25Speaker 4: state to compel public education. And the reason why was
- 40:29Speaker 4: because there was an influx of immigrants to our country
- 40:32Speaker 4: at the time, particularly Catholic immigrants, and the Protestant politicians
- 40:36Speaker 4: in charge wanted to indoctrinate these immigrant children in American
- 40:40Speaker 4: values so that they would be loyal to America first
- 40:42Speaker 4: rather than the country of their birth, and in Protestant
- 40:45Speaker 4: doctrine because of the centuries long battle between Protestants and Catholics,
- 40:48Speaker 4: and I realized that our institutions were never intended to
- 40:52Speaker 4: be neutral institutions. Our school system was never intended to
- 40:55Speaker 4: simply teach reading, writing, and arithmetic and otherwise be value neutral.
- 41:00Speaker 4: We as conservatives and the Republican Party, do not harness
- 41:04Speaker 4: these institutions to teach children our values. What's going to
- 41:08Speaker 4: happen is the left is going to swoop in and
- 41:10Speaker 4: teach their own. The Republican Party has fallen for the
- 41:13Speaker 4: false idea of tolerance and neutrality which doesn't exist. And
- 41:19Speaker 4: perhaps the philosophical reason for this is because they misdefine
- 41:22Speaker 4: the word liberty. They define liberty as simply the maximum
- 41:25Speaker 4: amount of individual freedom possible in a civil society, when
- 41:29Speaker 4: really our government was formed around the idea that liberty
- 41:33Speaker 4: is the means to something greater, that there's a moral
- 41:36Speaker 4: the thing that is greater is a moral thing, and
- 41:39Speaker 4: that our society, a flourishing society, is intended to try
- 41:42Speaker 4: to attain that. And Republicans have gotten very shy of
- 41:46Speaker 4: bringing religion or morals or anything of that nature into
- 41:50Speaker 4: our politics, and it's been to our detriment. We wouldn't
- 41:52Speaker 4: be in the chaos, the cultural chaos that we exist
- 41:56Speaker 4: and now if Republicans had not surrendered both institutions the
- 42:00Speaker 4: name of neutrality and morality and virtue in the name
- 42:04Speaker 4: of libertarianism to the left a long time ago.
- 42:07Speaker 3: List.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Congratulations on the new book, Grab It for your kids,
- 42:11Speaker 2: your grandkids. Makes you read this hide your children. It
- 42:14Speaker 2: is out now exposing the Marxists behind the attack on
- 42:17Speaker 2: America's kids.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Congratulations, Thank you, gentlemen.
- 42:21Speaker 4: I appreciate it.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Great to see you.
- 42:23Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile for ten years has been America's only Christian
- 42:27Speaker 2: conservative wireless provider. And when I say only trust me,
- 42:30Speaker 2: they are literally the only one. The team at Patriots
- 42:34Speaker 2: at Mobile are incredible because they are an American based
- 42:37Speaker 2: company with an American based call center that helps proud
- 42:41Speaker 2: Americans just like you that are conservatives and Christian know
- 42:44Speaker 2: that when they pay their bill every month, you're actually
- 42:46Speaker 2: making a difference and standing up for what you believe in.
- 42:50Speaker 2: So stop sending your money to woke companies that are
- 42:53Speaker 2: fighting against your values. You may not realize that the
- 42:55Speaker 2: Big Mobile they have been giving millions to liberal Democrats
- 43:00Speaker 2: and to places like Planned Parenthood. Well, Patriot Mobile has
- 43:05Speaker 2: decide to do something else and I love this about
- 43:07Speaker 2: them as a company. For every Verdictal listener that switches
- 43:11Speaker 2: your cell phone provider to Patriot Mobile, they are going
- 43:14Speaker 2: to make an initial donation to a organization that helps
- 43:18Speaker 2: protect the lives of unborn children. It is pretty awesome.
- 43:23Speaker 2: And then every month when you pay your bill, they
- 43:26Speaker 2: take a porsche of your bill at no extra cost
- 43:27Speaker 2: to you, and they give it back to hardcore conservative
- 43:30Speaker 2: Christian organizations. They stand up for freedom of speech, religious freedom,
- 43:34Speaker 2: the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, as well as
- 43:37Speaker 2: our military, our veterans and first responder heroes. So you're
- 43:41Speaker 2: going to have a bill every month for a cell phone,
- 43:43Speaker 2: why not put it with a company that fights for
- 43:45Speaker 2: what you believe in one hundred percent US based customer
- 43:48Speaker 2: service team is there to help make switching easy. You
- 43:51Speaker 2: can keep your same cell phone number you have now
- 43:54Speaker 2: keep your same phone, or upgrade to a new one.
