- 1:47Speaker 1: to go. Comey, come on your face at it. Uh huh,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I sure will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now. One and only
- 2:10Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show man instead of trying
- 2:14Speaker 1: to be about the business to y'all, I'm I'm I'm
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm doing all I can. But you know what's crazy
- 2:22Speaker 1: in the efforts that I make. I can do more.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You know, my father used to tell me something when
- 2:29Speaker 1: I was growing up. He says, son, when you've done
- 2:34Speaker 1: your best and you've done all you can, sit still
- 2:40Speaker 1: for a second and just do a little bit more.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Always remember that, he said, when you've done the best
- 2:47Speaker 1: you can and you can done all you can, think of.
- 2:51Speaker 1: He say, sit still for a minute and do some more.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And you know what I've discovered in my life, always
- 2:57Speaker 1: have a little more. I ain't ever just out out
- 3:00Speaker 1: out completely. I can't take another step. There ain't another
- 3:04Speaker 1: breath in me, There ain't there ain't another thought I
- 3:07Speaker 1: can produce. I'm never completely out, man. Just take a
- 3:11Speaker 1: rest for a minute, man, and then just do a
- 3:15Speaker 1: little bit more. And that that I can't tell you
- 3:18Speaker 1: how many times that's helped me get over the top.
- 3:22Speaker 1: You know, I was watching a documentary about people climbing
- 3:25Speaker 1: a Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount Everest was
- 3:29Speaker 1: and how they have on the hill, uh something called
- 3:35Speaker 1: like a death zone or killing zone where the majority
- 3:38Speaker 1: of people run out of oxygen and they have to
- 3:40Speaker 1: turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right in view
- 3:46Speaker 1: of the summit. You can actually see the top of
- 3:49Speaker 1: Mount Everest from there. But it's but it's that little
- 3:53Speaker 1: bit that's left that's this most difficult. Now that I
- 3:56Speaker 1: forgot all the reasons why they said most people don't
- 3:59Speaker 1: make it from there, and more people have lost their
- 4:02Speaker 1: lives in that area. I don't know what it is,
- 4:05Speaker 1: but the people that make it to the top of
- 4:08Speaker 1: Mount Efforts. They all had to go through that same
- 4:12Speaker 1: zone or that same area, but they had a little
- 4:17Speaker 1: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people have had accidents up
- 4:23Speaker 1: there trying that. So I'm not even really sure if
- 4:26Speaker 1: Mount Everest analogy is a good one. But let's just
- 4:30Speaker 1: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
- 4:32Speaker 1: about life. There's a poem I learned back when I
- 4:37Speaker 1: host Pledge, and it's called Don't Quit. The authors are unknown,
- 4:42Speaker 1: but the poem was called don't Quit, and I had
- 4:48Speaker 1: to memorize it. I memorize this poem when I was
- 4:53Speaker 1: eighteen nineteen, but the poem stayed in my head. I'm
- 4:58Speaker 1: gonna try to remember it right out. I'll say it
- 5:01Speaker 1: for you. But there's a stanza in it that talks
- 5:04Speaker 1: about how many a fellow has turned about when he
- 5:08Speaker 1: might have won had he stuck it out. So don't
- 5:12Speaker 1: give up. Though the pace seems slow, you may succeed
- 5:15Speaker 1: with another blow. You know. That's a stanza that always
- 5:19Speaker 1: sticks out in my mind. I'm gonna say I can
- 5:23Speaker 1: memorize one whole of right, Okay, this is the point.
- 5:25Speaker 1: There's the author is unknown the name of the pointments.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Don't quit. It goes like this. If I make a mistake,
- 5:31Speaker 1: I'm just trying to drump it up. So here we go.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It says when things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
- 5:37Speaker 1: when the road you're trudging seems all uphill, when your
- 5:41Speaker 1: funds are low and your debts are high, when you
- 5:45Speaker 1: want to smile, but you have to sigh, when cares
- 5:49Speaker 1: are pressing you down. A bit, rest if you must,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but don't quit. For life is queer with his twist
- 5:57Speaker 1: and turns, as every one of us must sometimes learned,
- 6:01Speaker 1: And many a fellow has turned about when he might
- 6:05Speaker 1: have won had he stuck it out. So don't give up.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Though the pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Often the gold is nearer than it seems to a
- 6:19Speaker 1: faint and a faltering man. And often the struggler has
- 6:23Speaker 1: given up when he might have captured the victor's cup,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and he learns too late, when the night came down,
- 6:31Speaker 1: how close he was to the golden crown. Success is
- 6:36Speaker 1: failure turned inside out. It's your silver tent of your
- 6:41Speaker 1: clouds of doubt, and you never can tell how close
- 6:45Speaker 1: you are it. Maybe kneel when it seems afar. So
- 6:50Speaker 1: stick to the fight when your hardest hits, when things
- 6:55Speaker 1: seem worse, that you mustn't quit. Okay a minute, cool.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I remember it because like they had a special method
- 7:05Speaker 1: of helping you remember stuff back then. But I remembered
- 7:08Speaker 1: that at that point right there. Has kept me a
- 7:11Speaker 1: lot of times. You know, if we often talk about
- 7:15Speaker 1: scripture and everything, and I don't, I don't see how
- 7:18Speaker 1: I could live without it. But every now and then, man,
- 7:21Speaker 1: somebody has a writing. God puts a writing on somebody's
- 7:23Speaker 1: heart that delivers a message, man, that can help people.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 7:30Speaker 1: climb this letter of success or try to be the
- 7:33Speaker 1: best father and the best husband I can be. I've
- 7:35Speaker 1: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 7:37Speaker 1: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 7:41Speaker 1: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 7:44Speaker 1: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 7:48Speaker 1: at him, and a sharp little young dude just on
- 7:50Speaker 1: my set, and he had these dreads and I mean
- 7:55Speaker 1: they were they were super long, man, they will well
- 7:59Speaker 1: be low the middle of his back. I mean it
- 8:01Speaker 1: was just long. And he kept talking to me, and
- 8:04Speaker 1: he kept talking to me and talking to me. Now,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I know somebody's gonna take this the wrong way, but
- 8:08Speaker 1: this is my story. So you know, feel how you
- 8:11Speaker 1: want to feel. Already know the emails is coming. You're
- 8:13Speaker 1: talking about it. So your man kept talking to him,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and I said, hey, man, you know you do. You're
- 8:19Speaker 1: here a huge self of favor in the business you
- 8:21Speaker 1: and if you got a haircut, you would do yourself
- 8:24Speaker 1: a huge favor. I said, your images everything, man, I said,
- 8:27Speaker 1: you keep stopping me in the hallway to try to
- 8:29Speaker 1: tell me what you're doing, what you are, but all
- 8:31Speaker 1: I see is your have I keep trying to figure
- 8:34Speaker 1: out what you're doing with all that hair. Man, Now
- 8:37Speaker 1: you can feel how you want to feel. But I'm
- 8:39Speaker 1: like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm walking
- 8:43Speaker 1: through the hallway and I try to think of you
- 8:45Speaker 1: traveling me with me, and you're sitting in a meeting
- 8:47Speaker 1: with me, I try to imagine you in your suit
- 8:50Speaker 1: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 8:53Speaker 1: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 8:57Speaker 1: So I said, man, you ought to consider cutting your hair.
- 9:00Speaker 1: He said, mad, Mr Harve, I've been growing his hair
- 9:03Speaker 1: side a little boy. I said, how holder you now?
- 9:06Speaker 1: He said twenty eight? I said, well, how long you
- 9:08Speaker 1: want to hang on to what you was when you
- 9:10Speaker 1: was a little boy? You know, if you started growing
- 9:13Speaker 1: your hair when you're a teenager. I mean, you're twenty
- 9:15Speaker 1: eight now? What we and? I said, so let me
- 9:18Speaker 1: help you understand something. Let me let me ask you something.
- 9:20Speaker 1: What does it do for you? Hes man, it's just
- 9:23Speaker 1: who I am, it's I said, so you your hair?
- 9:28Speaker 1: He said no, no, but it's a part of me.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 9:34Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I feed that. But if
- 9:45Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
- 9:48Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that, and the dude
- 9:52Speaker 1: you see on TV gonna be a little bit fatter
- 9:54Speaker 1: and a little bit fatter now already ain't ain't ain't
- 9:58Speaker 1: to catch me out when it comes to looking at
- 10:00Speaker 1: So now you start busting out of these suits, I said,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I got a problem. He said, man, So you don't
- 10:05Speaker 1: hang on the nothing you did when you was young.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I said, I probably do, man, but I've tried to
- 10:10Speaker 1: share the majority of it. As I've gotten older, I don't.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I can't think of anything I used to do with
- 10:14Speaker 1: fifteen that I still even really care about right now.
- 10:18Speaker 1: The other day I was walking through the hallway and uh,
- 10:22Speaker 1: he said, Mr Harvey, and I turned around. He had
- 10:25Speaker 1: a haircut. I didn't even know the cat. He He
- 10:30Speaker 1: looked so different, he was so groomed, he looked so
- 10:37Speaker 1: just vibrant. Man. He had this big smile on his face.
- 10:40Speaker 1: He said, Mr Harvey, I wish I had done this
- 10:41Speaker 1: a long time ago. And you know, I'm just saying
- 10:45Speaker 1: that to say this, man, what is it that you
- 10:48Speaker 1: hanging on to that you don't want to let go of?
- 10:51Speaker 1: That's prohibiting you from being what all you can be? See,
- 10:54Speaker 1: it's hard to be what all you can be if
- 10:56Speaker 1: you want to keep being all you was? Don't that
- 10:59Speaker 1: make us to you? So I'm I can't tell you
- 11:03Speaker 1: how many times I've had to change. Change is necessary
- 11:06Speaker 1: to grow. You can't be all you can be if
- 11:12Speaker 1: you want to keep hanging on to all you was.
- 11:16Speaker 1: That don't make no sense. How do you go forward?
- 11:20Speaker 1: If you keep going backwards? You can't stay here and
- 11:24Speaker 1: go there? Do you understand that If you want to
- 11:28Speaker 1: go over there, you must remove yourself from right here.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Oh I got right Here is comfortable, I got right
- 11:36Speaker 1: Here is safe. But over there's where the shade is.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Over There's where the fruit is. Over there is where
- 11:44Speaker 1: the opportunity is. Over there is where the mountain of
- 11:48Speaker 1: goal is. So why are you stuck on here? You
- 11:53Speaker 1: got to leave here to go over there. You can't
- 11:56Speaker 1: be all you can be if you want to stay
- 11:59Speaker 1: stuck on who who you are? Change his growth is necessary.
- 12:03Speaker 1: All let's go. Steve Harpy Morning Show, eighteen eighteen minutes
- 12:15Speaker 1: after the hour. Welcome to the Ride. It is the Nephew,
- 12:21Speaker 1: Tommy Production Production. Welcome to the Ride. The Nephew was
- 12:29Speaker 1: here holding it down on the Stephen's out but I am. Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: he's on this way to the Philippines. He's en rapped
- 12:36Speaker 1: to the Philippines to do Miss Universe. I wish I
- 12:41Speaker 1: was going. I probably wouldn't come back if I went
- 12:43Speaker 1: down there. But that's just me though. But anyway, good
- 12:47Speaker 1: morning to sir Ly Carlin was happy morning, Nephew, morning, Carla,
- 12:52Speaker 1: morning everyone, Happy Thursday Thursday. Yeah, crew, good morning, you're
- 12:59Speaker 1: talking about you on your way to the Philippines. If
- 13:01Speaker 1: I'm not, I'm not, he is. If you were on
- 13:04Speaker 1: your way, I wouldn't. I would just be a one
- 13:06Speaker 1: way ticket. Yes, is she listening this morning? Your wife?
- 13:11Speaker 1: Obviously not that ignorant stuff that can't just came out
- 13:15Speaker 1: of his mouth just be flowing. You can't turn off.
- 13:22Speaker 1: What did some ignorant stuff this morning? Okay, I get
- 13:27Speaker 1: dressed because you know, I'm always putting on my running
- 13:29Speaker 1: get because I'm a run on as soon as we
- 13:31Speaker 1: get off work and then go eat and the crazy. Yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 1: so I'm you know, I'm rushing and I'm getting dressed,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and then I get in the get in the truck.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I said something I don't feel right. Then I pulled
- 13:44Speaker 1: on down the street. I said, something really doesn't feel right.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Guess what what I was in my droughts. I hadn't
- 13:54Speaker 1: putting on. I hadn't putting no running anything. I was like,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I got the top home, but I ain't got the
- 14:01Speaker 1: bottom on. I was rushing. I was in my drone.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I had drove down the street. Yes, I said, okay,
- 14:12Speaker 1: let's go back and get some clothes, and hurried, did
- 14:16Speaker 1: you wake up late? I didn't wake up. I don't know.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I just wasn't I just was not paying it. Is
- 14:21Speaker 1: that something when y'all getting dressed in the morning that
- 14:23Speaker 1: holds you up? Huh, like when you're getting dressed, is
- 14:27Speaker 1: this something like that that just the shower? The shower
- 14:30Speaker 1: for me? Oh yeah, because we have to shower to
- 14:34Speaker 1: wake up me up. I don't care if I wake
- 14:38Speaker 1: up late. You gotta do you gotta do it. And
- 14:41Speaker 1: sometimes I just overstay my welcome in the shower because
- 14:45Speaker 1: it's still so good in the morning. It's warm, you know,
- 14:48Speaker 1: it's hot whatever. Yeah, that's what holds me up. Do
- 14:51Speaker 1: you have your clothes laid out? Oh? Absolutely, yeah, No,
- 14:55Speaker 1: I don't like that's my problem my clothes out, Yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: because so surely I have to. Yeah. Her and Steve.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I think Steve does the same thing. Yeah, he's because
- 15:05Speaker 1: when he don't, he's come to work with some crazy
- 15:08Speaker 1: stuff on. Yeah. I don't like my stuff. I don't
- 15:11Speaker 1: run right out the shower, put on the road being
- 15:14Speaker 1: the closet, throwing stuff, and it's hard. I hate that
- 15:17Speaker 1: because I come to work, I'll be like, I can't
- 15:21Speaker 1: that you comfortable? Way to come on in here? That's
- 15:24Speaker 1: too much thinking in the morning. What am I gonna wear?
- 15:26Speaker 1: What am I gonna wear? Just I don't know. I'm
- 15:29Speaker 1: so tired at night, you know. Yeah, I'm too tired
- 15:32Speaker 1: to lay it out sirly. So that's what I mean.
- 15:34Speaker 1: But in the morning, I'm in there just taying the
- 15:36Speaker 1: whole closet up, trying to figure out out. But I'm
- 15:39Speaker 1: gonna do to that. Yeah, that's one thing I do.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I have to leave my clothes that. The other thing
- 15:44Speaker 1: is sometimes makeup takes over a minute longer than it should.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I forget I'm going to work, you know, I'm doing
- 15:50Speaker 1: all this extra stuff. Lashes, you know all that you
- 15:54Speaker 1: put your lashes on every morning? Uh, well, you know
- 15:58Speaker 1: I have stripped. Sometimes they stay, but if they don't
- 16:00Speaker 1: have to put a new set on, how long it take?
- 16:02Speaker 1: It doesn't take long, but in the it doesn't take long.
- 16:06Speaker 1: But you know, you prefer to just for them to
- 16:09Speaker 1: just be on. I'm about I don't know, y'all. Y'all
- 16:12Speaker 1: got too much going. But Shirley is good at at
- 16:14Speaker 1: doing things like that. I have to just go get
- 16:16Speaker 1: mine done every two or three weeks. You know, where
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'll put my out be so blind, I'll be like,
- 16:24Speaker 1: what are you in a patch? But I'll did carlall
- 16:29Speaker 1: you magnifying mirror, I have that. Oh well, never mind
- 16:33Speaker 1: what Tommy, I got all that, she said. I'm still
- 16:38Speaker 1: going down here to the last place. I'm just saying, y'all,
- 16:41Speaker 1: never done what I did halfway down the street and
- 16:46Speaker 1: just realize you was in your panes. You ain't never
- 16:48Speaker 1: done that. No, no, pressious out. I got that from
- 16:53Speaker 1: really precious. Yeah, I've forgotten my phone and I had
- 16:56Speaker 1: to go back that all the time. Y'all know I
- 16:58Speaker 1: do that all yeah and stuff like that, but never
- 17:01Speaker 1: I remember when I was pregnant with Sheridan, Um, oh boy,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I took the and I never do this. Well, I
- 17:10Speaker 1: was doing it back then, but I had the I
- 17:13Speaker 1: was going out, so I was going to take the
- 17:14Speaker 1: garbage out with me and so I you know, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: had that the garbage of keys, my bag and everything.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So I got in the car and you know, all
- 17:24Speaker 1: of a sudden, I was like, dang, what is that
- 17:25Speaker 1: smell in here? What? What is my car smell? Yeah?
- 17:32Speaker 1: I looked in the back seat. There was the garbage
- 17:34Speaker 1: just sitting up there like a passenger. The only thing
- 17:37Speaker 1: was missing was the seatbelt. Around the garbage. So I
- 17:40Speaker 1: got to work, Yeah, and I had to throw it away. Yeah,
- 17:42Speaker 1: but you know you you are a lot a lot
- 17:44Speaker 1: of times forgetful when you're pregnant and stuff like that.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I can't I've done that before. But now I can't
- 17:50Speaker 1: leave my phone though. Oh no, no, I miss work.
- 17:54Speaker 1: My phone can't just stay at the high I my
- 17:57Speaker 1: phone came, could be sitting there on a nice thing, stale. Still,
- 18:01Speaker 1: we're here. We're here with that. You'll be divorce. How
- 18:04Speaker 1: long have you been married when your anniversary wasn't around?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Remember when? What was it in the phone? I'm gonna
- 18:16Speaker 1: need you to know, though, of all the people talking
- 18:18Speaker 1: right now, it's my phone, it was it's in your phone. Well,
- 18:24Speaker 1: thank god, but you can't hear my phone though. But
- 18:27Speaker 1: surely your husband. Surely your husband he knows the anniversary
- 18:31Speaker 1: day because it's his birthday. Yeah, because I I test
- 18:35Speaker 1: my husband every now and then, I said, what does
- 18:36Speaker 1: our anniversary? He'll go in August and I'll say what
- 18:44Speaker 1: day it's not in the beginning of I know that,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I said, you don't know an anniversary date? Yeah, He'll
- 18:54Speaker 1: look around and then he'll try to narrow it down.
- 18:57Speaker 1: It's not the second week each other. No. Net Show
- 19:01Speaker 1: doesn't know that. He remembers that stuff better than I do. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: he does well. He slicked though. He can put it
- 19:06Speaker 1: on his birthday. Yeah, that was a smart most smart remember. Yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: he remembers those important dates and I'm happy about that.
- 19:14Speaker 1: That's good. I don't have to worry about it. Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 1: he remembers my birthday, remembers my birthday. But the anniversary,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I have to throw a little hints. You know the
- 19:22Speaker 1: anniversary is coming up. I know you right. You didn't
- 19:28Speaker 1: know until I just brought it up. We're coming up.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Speaking of just bringing up things, Um, we're gonna do
- 19:35Speaker 1: Steve something funny and honor of Steve not being here,
- 19:39Speaker 1: we have this funny clip. Patty LaBelle has been in
- 19:41Speaker 1: the lose a lot lately with her desserts and stuff
- 19:44Speaker 1: like that. We're gonna revisit, uh when James Wright Chanelle
- 19:48Speaker 1: put her on the map. He'll tell you something new
- 19:52Speaker 1: from Patty as well. Yeah, you're listening to Steve Show,
- 20:00Speaker 1: all right, as promised. We talked about Patty LaBelle before
- 20:04Speaker 1: we went to break She's she's more popular now almost
- 20:08Speaker 1: for her desserts than she was, well, no, I can't
- 20:11Speaker 1: say that. I can't because her career is so long,
- 20:14Speaker 1: it's so brilliant, it's wonderful. She didn't think yes, yes, yes,
- 20:20Speaker 1: So anyway, we're gonna James right, Chanelle. When Patty started
- 20:24Speaker 1: making her sweet Potato pies, we didn't really know about
- 20:27Speaker 1: him until we didn't even know this guy, James right, Chanelle.
- 20:30Speaker 1: So he came along and did this YouTube video about Patty's. Yeah, well,
- 20:35Speaker 1: we're going to play that when we come back for see. Now,
- 20:38Speaker 1: why are we doing it? Wasn't because Patty has a

- 22:46Speaker 1: I mean, I want to about six Walmarts, not a one.
- 22:50Speaker 1: You know, you know Patty stays out there. Let me

- 32:41Speaker 1: I didn't know until I saw the movie, So Carla,
- 32:44Speaker 1: that Bobby was the one that started the group. It
- 32:47Speaker 1: was his idea, right right, it was his idea. So
- 32:51Speaker 1: they felt that's you understand that loyalty that they had
- 32:55Speaker 1: to Bobby, because you know, they were shorties. Bobby's ideal
- 32:59Speaker 1: going to the talent shows and in Boston had a vision.
- 33:03Speaker 1: It's a meme going around on Instagram where Bobby's saying,

- 33:58Speaker 1: introduced the level and talent. Did one nephew, you just
- 34:01Speaker 1: did the one and only miss a and tripped with
- 34:03Speaker 1: National News. Thank you, guys. Sander with the News. Good morning, everybody,
- 34:08Speaker 1: Good morning, Hi, Okay, Well, President Trump has officially begune,
- 34:12Speaker 1: following through with two of his biggest campaign promises. He
- 34:15Speaker 1: signed a couple of executive orders yesterday, one that authorizes
- 34:18Speaker 1: building that wall along the Mexican border, the other targeting
- 34:21Speaker 1: crime committing illegal aliens. We're going to get the bad
- 34:25Speaker 1: ones out, the criminals and the drug deals and gangs
- 34:29Speaker 1: and gang members and cartel leaders. The day is over
- 34:34Speaker 1: when they can stay in our country and wreak havoc.
- 34:37Speaker 1: We are going to get him out, and we're going
- 34:39Speaker 1: to get him out fast. Mr Trump says his executive
- 34:42Speaker 1: boarder would also up the numbers of border patrol agents
- 34:45Speaker 1: by five thousand, as well as pay for an additional
- 34:47Speaker 1: ten thousand agents to help with deportations and as the
- 34:50Speaker 1: White House spokesman Sean Spice says, the Trump administration is
- 34:53Speaker 1: not playing around the State Department is going to withhold
- 34:55Speaker 1: visas and use other tools to make sure countries accept
- 34:59Speaker 1: and return the criminals that came from their country. Well,
- 35:03Speaker 1: ensure that these countries take those individuals back. And we're
- 35:06Speaker 1: gonna strip federal grant money from the sanctuary states and
- 35:08Speaker 1: cities that harbor illegal immigrants. On another issue, President Trump
- 35:13Speaker 1: says he's ready to send in the National Guard if
- 35:15Speaker 1: officials in Chicago uh failed to keep the rate of
- 35:18Speaker 1: homicides and shy town from surging. It is bad, but
- 35:22Speaker 1: Chicago's homicide rate actually is not among the nation's highest. However,
- 35:26Speaker 1: seven and sixty to homicide in the Windy City did
- 35:29Speaker 1: last year? Did We're really bad? And it was actually
- 35:31Speaker 1: the most city had seen in years? That number four
- 35:34Speaker 1: exceeded the homicide numbers from New York and Los Angeles. Infact,
- 35:37Speaker 1: six more people were shot in just Chicago yesterday, apparently
- 35:40Speaker 1: attending a visual for someone had been shot. Okay. Singer
- 35:46Speaker 1: Crissette Michelle now complaining to Page six and even though
- 35:49Speaker 1: she alienated her fans by taking part in Donald Trump's
- 35:51Speaker 1: in orgural festivities, that he snubbed her cassette she has
- 35:54Speaker 1: her music, says that her musical number was rescheduled and
- 35:57Speaker 1: that she was then informed that you wouldn't even get
- 35:59Speaker 1: to meet the President. The singer says on the Entertainment
- 36:01Speaker 1: got the pages. She told the Trump representative the quote,
- 36:04Speaker 1: my family has disowned me. I'm the black post child
- 36:07Speaker 1: for discord right now, and he's not even going to
- 36:09Speaker 1: shake my hand unquote Tomministration. By the way, news new
- 36:14Speaker 1: ambassador to the United Nations has been sworn in. Former
- 36:17Speaker 1: South Carolina Governor Nicki Haley was voted and easily she
- 36:20Speaker 1: got supported from both sides of the aisle. That means
- 36:22Speaker 1: Donald Trump's cabinet now contains one Black man, Dr. Ben Carson,
- 36:26Speaker 1: one Asian Translation Secretary Arlene Chow, and one East Indian
- 36:29Speaker 1: Nicky Haley. All the rest are white, moster men. There
- 36:33Speaker 1: isn't one Hispanic. By the way, Trump is due a
- 36:37Speaker 1: GOP retreat and he got a fair Hispanic vote. By
- 36:40Speaker 1: the way, Trump is a due at the GEOP retreating
- 36:43Speaker 1: in Philly later on today. Expect protests there and sad news. Yes,
- 36:50Speaker 1: actress Mary Tyler moorees died at age eighty. She just
- 36:53Speaker 1: turned eighty like last month. She starred with a Dick
- 36:56Speaker 1: Van Dyke show, but she's probably best remembered for her
- 36:58Speaker 1: role as Mary Richards in the Mary Tyler Moore show.
- 37:01Speaker 1: She was in a movie that I really like with
- 37:03Speaker 1: Elvis Presley. You guys may remember she was law a Law.
- 37:05Speaker 1: She played a nun. It was called a Change of Habit,
- 37:08Speaker 1: and she played opposite Black American singer Barbara McNair. They
- 37:11Speaker 1: played nuns. Um I love that one. Also, Mary Tyler
- 37:14Speaker 1: Moore died. Remember that one day they went into a

- 45:17Speaker 1: Dolly so fell cold? This mean nor this ring. She
- 45:28Speaker 1: can't say love and condition. No, I'm better ste just

- 46:36Speaker 1: round and can't stay no pressure, no pressure from maybe
- 46:52Speaker 1: because I won't in no danger and the love tell
- 46:59Speaker 1: me begin. Let's can stand me? Then you stand alright.
- 47:48Speaker 1: New Edition movie, last night, the night before, and now
- 47:52Speaker 1: tonight the last night. If you have not been watching it,
- 47:55Speaker 1: please please, please don't let your life go by without
- 47:59Speaker 1: watching the New Addition movie because it's just too good.
- 48:02Speaker 1: It's too good. We love that so good. I heard
- 48:05Speaker 1: the vote out part was good. Well, all of it's good.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I mean, we just played can You Stay in the Rain,
- 48:10Speaker 1: And that's when Johnny joined the group. And let me
- 48:14Speaker 1: just say too. At the very end, when he's singing
- 48:17Speaker 1: that very last note, that is so beautiful. Johnny gil
- 48:20Speaker 1: can really really really saying he was a little listen
- 48:27Speaker 1: to that song at the very end, I said, that
- 48:31Speaker 1: is beautiful. Johnny gil is really bringing it. So Johnny
- 48:35Speaker 1: gil joins the group to Ralph's surprise. So cat Dog,
- 48:39Speaker 1: if you have that particular sound, I'd like to play
- 48:42Speaker 1: that that. Johnny joins the group to Ralph's surprise. And
- 48:46Speaker 1: the main reason why we brought my boy Johnny to
- 48:48Speaker 1: the group was for us to change our image, skills,
- 48:51Speaker 1: give us a new sound, and to get away from
- 48:53Speaker 1: that bubble comes you've been doing. We're gonna change that
- 48:56Speaker 1: candy girl to a chocolate woman, all right now. So
- 49:05Speaker 1: that was when Ralph was walking in and when they
- 49:09Speaker 1: said there he is. That was Jimmy Jammy Terry Lewis.
- 49:12Speaker 1: They were waiting on Ralph Transplant to come because they
- 49:15Speaker 1: had got super producers. They wanted to work with them
- 49:19Speaker 1: because the record labor felt that Jimmy jamm and Terry
- 49:21Speaker 1: Lewis did so well with control with Janet Jackson that
- 49:26Speaker 1: they wanted them to produce New Editions album. And so
- 49:29Speaker 1: Ralph walked in and was like, where are you coming from?
- 49:35Speaker 1: Nobody told me nothing. Nobody told me nothing to me nothing. Yeah,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and it was it was so crazy because Ralph wanted
- 49:44Speaker 1: to go solo at this point. He wanted to go solo,
- 49:48Speaker 1: and Michael Bivins wanted to send a message to Ralph
- 49:52Speaker 1: saying that okay, go ahead, you could go ahead and
- 49:57Speaker 1: do your solo thing. The group will still go on
- 49:59Speaker 1: because you know, they had had issues with Bobby already,
- 50:02Speaker 1: really had issues with Bobby Brown. Yeah, so that was
- 50:11Speaker 1: pretty much the the issue with it. And then Ralph asked, Johnny, oh,
- 50:16Speaker 1: so they told you You're gonna be the new Bobby Brown,
- 50:18Speaker 1: and Johnny said, no, they actually told me I was
- 50:20Speaker 1: gonna be the new you. Ralph said and shout out
- 50:27Speaker 1: to um Luke James. That's playing john Wolf James. Yeah,
- 50:32Speaker 1: that's playing Uh you know he changed Wolf James playing
- 50:35Speaker 1: Johnny Gill. Oh he can sing in real life too. Yeah. Yeah,
- 50:41Speaker 1: I love them. They're yeah, we we it's so good.
- 50:44Speaker 1: It's so good talking about so just love this movie.
- 50:47Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back. We have a prank for
- 50:50Speaker 1: you all that. Just stick with us. We'll be back
- 50:52Speaker 1: at forty eight after the hour. You're listening to the
- 50:55Speaker 1: Steve Harby Morning Show. All right, up a little after

- 57:55Speaker 1: You're Shirley and Steve. My sister is a thought. She
- 58:00Speaker 1: is sleeping with her friend's husband, and she is also
- 58:03Speaker 1: sleeping with my ex, who is still living in my house.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Let me make this clear. My ex and I are
- 58:10Speaker 1: no longer intimate with each other. He doesn't have a
- 58:13Speaker 1: place to go, so I let him stay with me.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I'm over him, so I don't care that my sister
- 58:19Speaker 1: is sleeping with him. She also she always talks about
- 58:22Speaker 1: other women and how their thoughts and how they are
- 58:24Speaker 1: sleeping with other women's men, but she sees nothing wrong
- 58:28Speaker 1: with what she's doing. She is always around her best
- 58:31Speaker 1: girlfriend and partying with her, and then turns right around
- 58:34Speaker 1: and sleeps with her husband. She meets up with her
- 58:37Speaker 1: friend's husband and secret places and they spend countless hours together.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Now the word on the street is that my sister
- 58:44Speaker 1: and one of her other female friends had a threesome

- 58:51Speaker 1: help me out. What can I say to get my
- 58:53Speaker 1: sister to stop thoughting? Signed a concerned sister. Dear concerned sister,
- 58:59Speaker 1: I get it. You love your sister and you want
- 59:02Speaker 1: her to do the right thing. You want her to Uh,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you know, stop thoughting around, as you say, stop sleeping
- 59:08Speaker 1: with her friend's husband, stop having threesomes and uh with
- 59:12Speaker 1: your ex too. Wow. Uh, just not a good look
- 59:15Speaker 1: for for your sister. Uh, it's very thought e behavior.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I have to agree with you. The supplising thing is
- 59:21Speaker 1: how calm you are and your sisters sleeping with your ex.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I don't care if you know you guys are no
- 59:28Speaker 1: longer intimate or anything like that, that you don't care.
- 59:31Speaker 1: But you have to care a little bit because you
- 59:32Speaker 1: wrote the letter. H So you know why is your
- 59:36Speaker 1: sister sleeping with your ex? Who? I mean, who does that?
- 59:40Speaker 1: I just think you need to to put your ex out.
- 59:44Speaker 1: You need to put him out of your house because
- 59:46Speaker 1: he doesn't respect it. Uh, this ignorant mess won't be
- 59:51Speaker 1: in your face if you put him out. Okay, even
- 59:53Speaker 1: though you say you don't care, I know you care
- 59:55Speaker 1: because it's just not a good look. Like I said,
- 59:58Speaker 1: maybe your sister can can take m in, she can
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: take him in. Maybe she can't since she's sleeping with
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: him anyway, and she likes sleeping with other women's men. Uh.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: The thing is your sister, your eggs, your sister's friends. Uh,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: all of them are just trifling. They're all grown people.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: They're just trifling though, and and grown people as trifling
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: as it is, you cannot make them do anything. So
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the best thing you need to do is go on
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: about your business. Like I said, put your ex out,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: let them do their thing, get away from all that
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: so you won't have to see it. It It won't be
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: in your face, concerned sister, you know, and let the
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: chips fall where they make. Tommy, what what is that
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: about the sighing? I can't stand people who haven't been
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: in a threesome and got the nerve to judge. Wait
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: a minute, that's your response, that's your line. I'm speechless
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: who haven't been in a threesone but got the nerve
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: to judge? You, young lady, are a threesome hater. You
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: are the person that's trifling right here. You are the
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: one that's full of hate, selfish, yourself, senate, and you
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: think it's all about you. This girl ain't doing nuhing
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: but trying to keep the family together. That's all she's
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: doing that. She trying to keep that family. That's why
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: she's over there with your ex. She trying to at
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: least how you see that man going through something he
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: going through. He can't get no job. He's staying with you,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: he can He trying to get on his feet. At least,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: she trying to come over there and calm that man
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: nerves until he get himself together. But you, you alway
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: being so trifling. Oh, you care about you, that's all
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you care about. You cannot be for real, you cannot be.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: She's trying to help him. She trying to help the
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: man get through what he going through. The man is family.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: That's her brother in law or ex brother in law,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: is keeping this family together. Husband, she's I mean, her
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: best friend husband's sleeping with her best friend's husband. I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: understand what you're saying, Shirley. I understand what you're saying.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: But for surely he need love to but deadly, but deadly.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: The best friend is not giving out as much love
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: as that man needs. So she's stepping out. And what
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: is she doing helping her friend? Girl? You can't handle
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: it out. Let me help you out that way. He
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: ain't running it all over town thoughting himself. You see
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: what I'm saying. She's helping now. She grabbed one of
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: her girlfriends and they threw with three. What's wrong? You
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: know what the problem me is? Y'all ain't tried tell me?
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: And then you got the nerve to judge, Shirley. Why
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: tell me you're not all up in your best friend's face,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: partying with them and all that stuff and then turn
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: around behind your friends back sleep with her husband. She
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: knows that her best friend is not giving enough to her.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Who does that? She's helping her. Sometimes you got to
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: help people and not let them know you're helping. I'm
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: gonna say that was not profound. Sometimes you gotta help
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: people and not let them know you're helping them. She's helping.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I don't understand how you think. I don't understand how
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: your mind works. I'm gonna stand by what I said.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it again. I can't stand people who
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: have been in a threesome and God have not been
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: in the threes and got the nerve to judge. You
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: can'tnot something to you tried with a random man. Some
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: just some guys. Some dude, you're crazy, Tommy. They got
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: a movie called Random Hearts. What are you talking about?
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: It's a lot of random things go on. That was
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: with Harrison. It was with Harrison Ford. He did Random
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: It was a very good movie. This is a random heart, right,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: let her. This is a random heart, a random love,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: a random moment. That's what it is, Carl, It for
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: what it is. Sometimes you all got to live in
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the moment. She's a random thought. Yeah, that's what she is.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: That is you be random about it. Now you up
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: here trying to look for her. She's just all over
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: the place, you know, just as Steve would say, pass.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: But she's helping people out, Shirley. She's helping out the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: man at home, all right, that's living with her sisters.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: She's helping out the person that that that that the
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: girlfriend's husband he needs help to. She's helping me. Hey, Tommy,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: this is not She's violated all kinds of girlfriend code.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Even though her sister says she doesn't love her X anymore,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: that's not the case. You know, she has something going on,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: some feeling that she wrote the letter. She's jealous. No,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: it's a code, Tommy, you don't cross that line. You
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: don't date your your your sister's ex, your girlfriend's man.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: You don't want your X. There's no longer a line.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: That line is always the line is gone now. It's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: a code. Well, why did he open up the doing
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: letter in the house. That's because he tried. Why are coming? Why? Why?
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Why is she allowing it to happen in her house?
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: We gotta go? So you agree? What do you what
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: are y'all mad about? What is it about? Back at eighteen,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: after you're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: we're in the middle of the Strawberry Letters subject fatting
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: around town, Fatting around town. We'll be back with part two.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I'm a really helping when we come back, really, because
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: you haven't really really real time. I'm gonna show us
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: some loon, did your son nephews makes sense? I'm gonna
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: say it on the side of michael house. Ain't in
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: his house, ain't in his son. But he's gonna talk
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: about why would you saying on the side of somebody
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: else have? But why wouldn't he say I'm gonna say
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: it on the side of my house, Michael, then you
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: know who he But why we have to say it
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: on the side? Why not in the house? Or what
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: is that? Anyway? I said, you'll never go out and
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: just okay, you know what and say stuff on the side,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: be on the side of your house. You don't say
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: you don't y'all, ain't never on side of you. I'm
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the only one on the side of over there about
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: the water holes that I'm the only one. All Right,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: we're in the middle of this letter subject thoughting around town.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: A young lady wrote in she says her sister is
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: a thought she is sleeping with her friend's husband, and
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: she's also sleeping with her ex who still lives in
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: her house, and she says she and her ex are
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: are no longer intimate. She doesn't care. Uh, he doesn't
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: have a place to go, so she let him stay
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: with me, so to me right there, she cares about him.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: She says she's over him, so she doesn't care, but
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: her sister is sleeping with him. She also um talks
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: about other women and how their thoughts and how they
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: are sleeping with other women's men, but her sister is
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: doing the same thing. Case and point, she is sleeping
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: with her best friend's husband. She goes out in parties
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: with her best friend, then after the fact, they go
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to secret places and spend countless hours together. She says,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: a word on the street is that her sister and
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: one of her other female friends had a threesome with
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: a random man. She calls her sister just trifling, and
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: she wants to be helped out. How can she What
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: can she say to her sister to stop thoughting. I
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: don't I don't think that there's anything or know that
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: there's anything you can necessarily say because they're all grown
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: like I mentioned earlier, and you know, you can't tell
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: grown people what to do. But I understand your concern
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: because you care about your sister and her actions and
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: how it looks to the family and on the family
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: and all of that. So my suggestion was to put
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: the man out, put your ex out, and let him
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: go live with the sister. Tommy, okay, I want to
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: give some sound advice. Can I do that? Oh, you
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: came to your sensus. Let me just try and help.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Let me just try and help, really really truth seriously,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: And I want to the young lady that that wrote it.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Just listen to Tommy close. Okay. I want you to
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: stop judging, stop hating, stop thinking about yourself, feel what
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: your sister is feeling sometimes, go to the next threesome. Participate.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: This has help. And you said open your eyes to
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: a new beginning. Surely is he talking to the letter
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: writer or the other? Okay, yeah, okay, I'm talking to
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: the letter writer. I want her to stop judging, stop hating,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: stop thinking about self, Feel what your sister is feeling sometimes,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: go to the next threesome, experience what she's doing. Participate,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: open your eyes to a new beginning for yourself. And
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: be a part of the threesome world. Please don't listen
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to that. You're an idiot. If you listen to this idiot.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: What kind of advice do you want? I'm not going
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: to give you, Steve Harvey, everybody's I'm not gonna do that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: I'm not going to do that. What you want me
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: to tell you? Did jump? You want? Do what you
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: want to? You want me to tell you go visit
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Trump and ask himbody what you want me to? What
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: do you want? What do you want me to take?
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell you. We get it. Coming up,

- 1:18:47Speaker 1: meeting up this weekend to talk about her daughter's behavior
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: for the first time in two years. M hmm. Thank
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: you think anything gonna you think anything gonna jump out,
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: recantle or anything like that. I'm hoping nothing does, nothing
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: does come out of this. Hopefully it's just for the daughter. Definite.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Hold up, Allison, you're gonna run over? That was not
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: a definite? No? Is there a possibility? No, I have
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: She keeps saying, I hope not. I hope not. Alison,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: What are you not telling us? Alison? Confess it. We're
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: here for you. See it. Let me ask you something.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: When y'all normally get together, does something normally happen. I
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: don't want nothing to happen. We Allison, you're weak right now.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: You're weak. You're clutching your chests right now. Don't go Allison,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: you might want to do this over the phone. Ain't
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: trying to help you. I'm just saying, though, Yeah, it's
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: gonna jump off, and that's gonna jump off as soon
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: as y'all make eye contact. It normally happened, don't it out.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I just I'm scared of hell. Come on down here.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Let's talk about the boy thanking me several times like
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: in our past. That's why I said it's it's I
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: don't want to see how this is gonna turn out.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I don't know this for a bad weekend, So it's
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: it's it's weird we're getting together from my daughter's behavior.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: I guess hey, I got a text message. You want
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: to get together this weekend and take the baby out
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to have some fun. Allison confused. Did you say he
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: put his hands on you? You mean, like in a violent,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: abusive way? Is that what you're talking about? We got violent,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: We got um until a lot of Oh no, Alice,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: you all need to go, baby girl, No, we'll need
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: to go on any of this. We thought he was
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: sexy and you it may be a little hard to
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: resist him because yeah, no, no, no, we don't condone
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: any of this. Don't put yourself in a bad situation
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: this way. This is not a laughable situation. This is
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: very funny, not at all, not at all. Rethink it, Alison,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: do it over the phone, or take your man with you.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: You're in a relationship now, right, Yeah, yeah, you need
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: to have your man with you and then y'all can
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: discuss what's going on with your child. Why your man
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: is there? Does that make sense? Yes, but that means
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: we shouldn't go period. Right. Well, well, you need to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: get some counseling, you need some advice. Yeah, let me
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: look for what number up. Hold on, Alison, letna give
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: you Alison, but don't go especially don't go by yourself.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: It's all about the child, Alison, it really really is.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: But you need some help in this situation. Okay, that
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: turns crazy. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: All right, come on, nephew, this is your segment. Let's
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: do it, all right. We didn't get to do we

- 1:22:03Speaker 1: is do pre confessions and pre confessions. And you tell
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: me what you're about to do this weekend that you're
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: not supposed to do. Don't call in here with your name,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: give me a fictitious name so you won't be throwing
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: yourself under the bus. All right, that's how we're doing it,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: all right, eight seven seven nine, Steve. Let's go to
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: the phone line five cat. We're talking to Nikki. Nikki, Hey,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: good morning to you your morning time, and he like Carlin, Hey, Nikki, hey, Nikky,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: what's up girl? Um? Well this week to him, my
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: husband is going out of town and so I'm going
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: to cheat with his fan. Yeah, Nicki, Nicki, you bet not.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Try to help nobody up in here, now, Nikki, how long?
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: How long this has been going on? Baby? What you're thing?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Going on for a little while? But it's more like
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: a refene Oh, my husband, he doesn't know that. I
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: saw him going creeping into the neighbor's house like three
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: doors from us. Um, I came home earlier from work
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and but I used my co workers car and I'm
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: listening in the park a lot and I saw it.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: So I said, Okay, I got something your ass. So
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: this weekie, he's going out of town and I'm gonna
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: be with his this thing. Okay, Now, Nicki, you know
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: it doesn't always turn out the same when women do it.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: You know there's a double standard, right, You got that
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: we can't do what they do. You know it's double standard. Now,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: we take a lot of the men back who cheat
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: on us, but men don't necessarily take women back who've
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: cheated on them. Now that her voice, yes, her name Nikki,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: her voice is nicky. He can when when he leaving

- 1:24:09Speaker 1: When you come back Sunday evening Monday? Oh yeah, y'all
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: got some good time. What y'all gonna do everything in
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: the pool? Now? What if he dubbled back and sit
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: in the park and lot like you did. I'm not
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: gonna be Ain't no fool. I ain't gonna do it
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: at my house. Alright, alright, alright, you're small. You're small.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: You think you're strong, y'all, y'all gonna get you. I'm
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: not even gonna be in the same city and stay
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: where I live it. That is stupid, I'm saying, trying
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: to get caught. That's stupid. Okay, go ahead, you're small.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Get out of time now, nikked by you leaving town
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: and him leaving town? Is there possibility y'all going to

- 1:25:27Speaker 1: what you're going, just all the room service. Don't go
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: out that room, all right. The only thing Nicki's got
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: going for at this point is that women are smarter cheaters.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we don't. Yeah, we're better at it. Yeah yeah,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: we're not condoning it alright, line six. But she didn't
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: count him. Let's go to Keisha standard like, ain't nothing

- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Kisha Madallion joan happy y'all when I get off the work,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: I worked so much. So this is why I'm so undecided,

- 1:29:29Speaker 1: We got to balance this all some kind of way, y'all?

- 1:30:22Speaker 1: you're gonna do this weekend shirt. Let's just letting us
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: know what they're about to do, all right. We didn't
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: get a chance to wear back. We didn't get a

- 1:30:54Speaker 1: What he doesn't know is this weekend, I'm leaving it.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: We're leaving him this weekend. Let me put my I
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: am leaving him. Once a year, he goes on a nice,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: big old trip his friends, all the guys, and they
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: stay going for a weekend. This in this um, I
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: feel they're going to Miami. He's just leaving Frida. He's
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: gonna be going for a year and he's coming home
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: and I won't be here. Hold on, he's going for

- 1:31:25Speaker 1: I'm not taking anything with me. I when he got
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: a new place already already had furniture and everything. Now
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: that's how you leave. That's how you leave. You get
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: your place set up, you're ready to rock it road. Uh,
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: I'm going Okay now now is it gonna be like
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: a note way? Knowing him? When he gets back, I'm
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: just gone. He has um. He's been seeing other women
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: for the past but past four or five years now
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: he has he has another child from another relationship. And
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: I tried to sive it, prayed on it, and tried
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: to get him to go to counseling and he's still
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: doing what he wants to do when he thinks I
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: don't know about it. So I'm like, you know what
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: I'm doing fighting that's right. I don't have no more screaming.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: I don't have no more crying. I love it, though.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna you applaud you, Tina. That's right, girl from
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: the place of Mayor j blast for you. I don't
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: want to be shoot out of that place. I'm I'm

- 1:32:29Speaker 1: We're hitting the road. He's gonna come home to nothing. Okay,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah, that's yeah, that's how you lead
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: a man. That was a confession. But Tina, take take
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: the tarlet paper to leave him in a bad situation.
