- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all suit back to back giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milling bus things and it's y'all to Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening together for stuy. Don't joy. You gotta do that.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Turn you you gotta turn to turnout, turn, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out to turn turn the water the water, come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back. Uh huh, I show, well, good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now for one and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I thought I think of my life in terms of blessings.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You know, I take mostly a positive approach and a
- 2:22Speaker 1: positive spin to my life. I hardly ever dwell on
- 2:27Speaker 1: you know, the what's well. I can't say that I
- 2:30Speaker 1: don't think about the what's wrong in it because I
- 2:32Speaker 1: have to, because I have to address problems as they arise.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But I try not to let them consume me. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: let the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive
- 2:44Speaker 1: things that has occurred in my life, the good things
- 2:47Speaker 1: that God has done for me, the power that He's
- 2:51Speaker 1: displayed in my life, the protection He's given me. Over
- 2:55Speaker 1: the years to being tucked under his wings. I focus
- 2:58Speaker 1: on the things that he promises me. I think of
- 3:02Speaker 1: all all the goodness that I perceived to come my way.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:08Speaker 1: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 1: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: put out into space, and what you pray about is
- 3:17Speaker 1: what you receive. You know, and so I've become better
- 3:20Speaker 1: and better at that. It's not to say that I'm
- 3:23Speaker 1: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:27Speaker 1: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 1: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 1: going to do and saying, and all of this is his.
- 3:35Speaker 1: That's not to con say that I'm not concerned about it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: But I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 1: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:55Speaker 1: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my life, and I was taking myself into directions
- 4:03Speaker 1: that I thought would be best for me, and I
- 4:06Speaker 1: aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I was driving when I gave up and I let
- 4:19Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:24Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, For what God
- 4:28Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:37Speaker 1: he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 1: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:46Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and as offsetting as you think
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:04Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:07Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:10Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:12Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:15Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:18Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man because See,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:27Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:30Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:33Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:35Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:40Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:43Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:45Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:49Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:52Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:54Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:58Speaker 1: totally differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:05Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:08Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference,
- 6:13Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 1: if I told it all day long would he done
- 6:24Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:27Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me, because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me But now that's not to
- 6:35Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:39Speaker 1: because I'm still shocked. You can't be him. You can
- 6:43Speaker 1: strive for perfection. I hear people saying it all the time.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I applaud you for saying you want to be perfect,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but you ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You quit saying it to me, quit saying it to
- 6:54Speaker 1: other people. I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: something that you cannot because he said you can't do it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But that's what he'd have for. He'd have for the
- 7:04Speaker 1: moments when you stumble and you fall, and you go
- 7:07Speaker 1: stumble and fall. So you got to get that part right.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Man to stumbling falling part is coming. But see, you
- 7:13Speaker 1: get God in your life and it helps you so
- 7:15Speaker 1: that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll over, laid their languish.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's what God is for. So when you stumbling, fall,
- 7:24Speaker 1: you get back up because you're going to make mistakes,
- 7:28Speaker 1: You're going to get it wrong, you're going to come
- 7:31Speaker 1: under attack, You're going to be lied about, you are
- 7:34Speaker 1: going to be falsely accused. That's going to happen to you.
- 7:38Speaker 1: The moment you make a decision to do better the
- 7:42Speaker 1: moment you try to be more. The devil got to
- 7:44Speaker 1: send his attackers, man, and he controls certain people. He
- 7:49Speaker 1: just got people as on his side twenty four seven.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You know him too. You've all met one or two
- 7:54Speaker 1: of me in your life. They're just busy with the
- 7:57Speaker 1: business of nothingness. They just busy about to do about
- 8:02Speaker 1: the destruction of others. You said, I know him, you
- 8:04Speaker 1: know him. They coming. But here's what you got to
- 8:07Speaker 1: hold fast too. They can't take away nothing from you
- 8:12Speaker 1: that God gave you. They didn't make you. See, people
- 8:15Speaker 1: who claim to have made you, if they're so in
- 8:19Speaker 1: to make you business, why don't they make theirselves? Or
- 8:23Speaker 1: if they ain't with you no more, and they're so
- 8:25Speaker 1: busy in them I made you business, why don't they
- 8:28Speaker 1: make somebody else? Since since you want to get credit
- 8:32Speaker 1: from making somebody make yourself, if you're responsible for someone
- 8:38Speaker 1: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
- 8:40Speaker 1: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
- 8:44Speaker 1: careful of that, and don't and don't don't change your
- 8:47Speaker 1: course because somebody is attacking you with that. I just hope, man,
- 8:52Speaker 1: that I'm giving it to God. The way I said
- 8:54Speaker 1: I would give it to him, that I would unload
- 8:56Speaker 1: every chance I got that I was supposed to without,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know, or here he come again? You know, I
- 9:02Speaker 1: try not to be that, but man, I don't know
- 9:04Speaker 1: what else to be for the first twelve minutes of
- 9:06Speaker 1: my show? What else you want me to say? I
- 9:08Speaker 1: got four hours? I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
- 9:14Speaker 1: let's look at this right here. If you're give an
- 9:17Speaker 1: honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise that you ain't got
- 9:26Speaker 1: twelve minutes to give him out the day. That don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: make no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life
- 9:33Speaker 1: God has given me in exchange for so small of
- 9:36Speaker 1: effort that I put forth. Don't let the effort you
- 9:38Speaker 1: got to put forth to God seems so dawning that
- 9:41Speaker 1: you don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems
- 9:43Speaker 1: like a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what
- 9:45Speaker 1: he'd be given us for real. So if you want
- 9:48Speaker 1: a real life, you want a real shot at what
- 9:50Speaker 1: you can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:52Speaker 1: what you can become, who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentleman that we are here. The time has come.
- 10:06Speaker 1: What's the time for Steve? Time to celebrate? But to
- 10:09Speaker 1: celebrate man, A new day, a new opportunity, another chance given,
- 10:15Speaker 1: another dawning mom. Wow. Wow. All I can tell you
- 10:20Speaker 1: is I'm grateful, man, I'm grateful for all things, everything
- 10:24Speaker 1: you do for me. Man, appreciate your Lord. This is
- 10:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Man. Get your attitude together. You
- 10:30Speaker 1: start that off with some gratitude. And if you get
- 10:32Speaker 1: your attitude together with some gratitude, then they strongly affects
- 10:36Speaker 1: your altitude. I rearranged it a little bit today, so
- 10:39Speaker 1: I want you to hear me different. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. More on the show. Shirley straw Berry caller
- 10:48Speaker 1: to the for real mouth of the South. That junior
- 10:55Speaker 1: government name kills space and the legend that is you
- 11:00Speaker 1: tell me, Yeah, well, Junior, what's going on? Day? Many
- 11:05Speaker 1: Let's talk about it. Man. You just said the key
- 11:08Speaker 1: words celebration. These blessings, you got to celebrate them. How
- 11:12Speaker 1: long did we get to celebrate the blessing? I mean, well,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I mean you, here's two things. You don't have to
- 11:19Speaker 1: stop one to do the other. I mean, why why
- 11:24Speaker 1: do you have to stop one? You know, of course,
- 11:28Speaker 1: showing gratitude is merely when you wake up or throughout
- 11:32Speaker 1: the course of the day doing your prayer, your meditation.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You know, you just say you know, thank you. You know,
- 11:39Speaker 1: you show your gratitude. That don't mean you don't keep grinding,
- 11:44Speaker 1: keep hustling. My motto has always been the ABC's I
- 11:48Speaker 1: do the ABC's always be closing. Whenever I signed a deal,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I'm also in the process of closing another deal. I'm
- 11:59Speaker 1: in the process, says now. I don't mean I'm signing
- 12:01Speaker 1: deals every day, of course not. But I'm always whenever
- 12:05Speaker 1: I signed a deal, there's more to be done, It's
- 12:08Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But you don't have to do one
- 12:11Speaker 1: or the other. You can be grateful and still be grinding,
- 12:15Speaker 1: you know, but the gratefulness allows you sometimes man to
- 12:21Speaker 1: look at the grind and the hustle differently. You know,
- 12:24Speaker 1: when you show gratitude in the middle of your hustle
- 12:28Speaker 1: and grind. It also allows you to say, hey, wait
- 12:30Speaker 1: a minute. You know what, man, man, I'm actually doing
- 12:33Speaker 1: way better than I was. I've had a lot more
- 12:36Speaker 1: going for me than I had. So whatever it is
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm shooting for, when it comes, it comes. But right now,
- 12:45Speaker 1: let me take a moment to just enjoy this here.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Let me take a moment of pause and say, wow,
- 12:53Speaker 1: look around, hey, man, go walk around your house. Look
- 12:57Speaker 1: at all the stuff that's in your house that wasn't
- 12:59Speaker 1: there a few years back. I'll look at the house
- 13:02Speaker 1: you got that you didn't have a few years back.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I think in your car, the one that replaced the
- 13:08Speaker 1: war that you hated. You understand, look around. You got
- 13:11Speaker 1: a yard now. You used to didn't have no yard.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You you have a garage attached to your home now
- 13:19Speaker 1: you may not own it. But you were in apartment,
- 13:21Speaker 1: now you're in the town house. You don't see the
- 13:23Speaker 1: gradual steps of progression as success. You gotta be grateful
- 13:27Speaker 1: for it, man. It's gratitude and a lot of little things,
- 13:30Speaker 1: you know, all right, Grateful and grinding, grateful and grinding,
- 13:36Speaker 1: all right. Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 1: we will hear from the nephew and run that prank back.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it is time to start your morning off with the
- 13:50Speaker 1: nephew and run that prank back. Happy Valentine's Day, nephew,
- 13:54Speaker 1: Happy Valentine's Shirley. Um, this righting is called edible fruit
- 13:59Speaker 1: deliver re edible fruit delivery. Let's be stupid, Cad, don't
- 14:04Speaker 1: give you Hello Storage, How can I help you? I'm
- 14:09Speaker 1: trying to find Chad. He's not in right now. How
- 14:11Speaker 1: can I help you? Oh? Okay, all right? What I'm
- 14:14Speaker 1: sorry man? What's your name? Who's this? My name is Perkins.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I actually have a delivery, uh, edible fruit delivery for Chad,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and I'm trying to make sure I got the address
- 14:24Speaker 1: and everything correct. Oh um, well, who's it from? I
- 14:28Speaker 1: think it's from you? You? Um, your name is? What's
- 14:31Speaker 1: your name is? Divina? I didn't order any any edible arrangements. Okay,
- 14:36Speaker 1: there's four Valentine's let me see. Yeah, that's that's definitely
- 14:40Speaker 1: must be a mistake. Are you sure I was in?
- 14:42Speaker 1: Chad ordered some edible arrangements for me. I think after
- 14:46Speaker 1: that might make some sense. It's for a Chad. Okay,
- 14:49Speaker 1: here this who's who? Who sent this? Miss the reader?
- 14:54Speaker 1: The reader? Oh oh no no, no, no, no, no no, no,
- 14:57Speaker 1: that's not me at all. I'm Divina and that is amazing.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Your name, why she would send anything? Right, I'm chatting,
- 15:06Speaker 1: but the name, that's a totally different persons. Okay, so
- 15:09Speaker 1: do you know the reader Clark? Who is there? Oh
- 15:12Speaker 1: that's not someone I associate where personally. That's Chad's ex
- 15:16Speaker 1: wife And that doesn't make any sense for her to
- 15:18Speaker 1: be sending us to anything. So you don't. You don't
- 15:21Speaker 1: even have to. If she sent us, she didn't send it.
- 15:25Speaker 1: She said this chance, she didn't send it to you. Okay, well,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm just gonna let you know we don't need that delivery,
- 15:31Speaker 1: so thank you. Anyway, you can go ahead and um,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and you could keep that for your hold on, hold on,
- 15:37Speaker 1: miss um. Don't let y'all say right name. Don't worry,
- 15:41Speaker 1: don't don't. Don't worry too much about that. If I
- 15:43Speaker 1: don't make my deliveries, I don't get paid. I have
- 15:46Speaker 1: to deliver these. This edible fruit man doesn't make any sense,
- 15:50Speaker 1: So I'll just discard it myself. If you if you
- 15:53Speaker 1: need to bring it. But I'm sure I have to
- 15:55Speaker 1: bring it. But let me ask you something. I mean this, lady.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not trying to probably into anything, but
- 16:01Speaker 1: I mean, have you have you bought him anything? No?
- 16:04Speaker 1: I haven't, but I have plenty of comed about something
- 16:10Speaker 1: that don't make sense to me. Why why haven't you
- 16:12Speaker 1: bought it? All right, I don't think you need to
- 16:14Speaker 1: worry about what I get from my man or what
- 16:15Speaker 1: I don't get from my husband. All right, that's none
- 16:18Speaker 1: of your concerns. Were concerned about making sure he gets something.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Who am I speaking to? My name is Perkins, okay,
- 16:27Speaker 1: and I already told you we don't need no God delivery.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I don't need you ask me questions about told you
- 16:32Speaker 1: my mar all right. Well I'm tired. I'm not gonna
- 16:36Speaker 1: fight to fight with you on phone. Well I'm gonna
- 16:38Speaker 1: be too fools here argument. I'm all true, we don't
- 16:41Speaker 1: need anything what no I need. You don't need to
- 16:45Speaker 1: be questioning me about what I do or don't do
- 16:47Speaker 1: from my husband. That's absolutely none of your God business.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I need to know mister Chad is gonna be there.
- 16:52Speaker 1: So mister Chad might want. Don't worry so much about Chad.
- 16:55Speaker 1: This is our family business. Family business. I'm his wife.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Do you understand without me I'm his wife. I understand it. Whatever,
- 17:02Speaker 1: thenly his ex wife won't him to have his fruit?
- 17:05Speaker 1: And if you want to be pissing me Onfad and
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm not going to say, I'm not going to become
- 17:10Speaker 1: delivering nothing to you and you're gonna throw it away.
- 17:12Speaker 1: This is Chad's fruit basket. And she did she sends you?
- 17:16Speaker 1: Did you really send you? Specifically? I just want to
- 17:20Speaker 1: understand what the hell is going on because you seem
- 17:22Speaker 1: really invested in in my husband's ex wife. I don't
- 17:25Speaker 1: even understand why, but it's gonna piss me off. So
- 17:27Speaker 1: I want some answers. And you use the right word.
- 17:29Speaker 1: She're not invested in Chad? Why haven't you bought anything
- 17:33Speaker 1: for Chad? Is why? Perk fruit? Perkins. I'm gonna need
- 17:37Speaker 1: to speak to guy and manager because I'm getting real
- 17:39Speaker 1: upset right now and you don't want no problems with me,
- 17:42Speaker 1: So why don't you hand over your manager of the
- 17:43Speaker 1: phone and we're gonna settle this, me and your manager,
- 17:46Speaker 1: And I don't want to ever see you because I
- 17:48Speaker 1: don't even know what I'm gonna do. I've been so
- 17:50Speaker 1: disrespected on this phone call right now? Will I hold
- 17:53Speaker 1: them in day? So why don't you pass your manager
- 17:55Speaker 1: of the phone. I'm not friend to put you on
- 17:56Speaker 1: the phone, my managing me on the phone with your manage.
- 17:59Speaker 1: You don't hap to me. I'm anna call back. I'm
- 18:01Speaker 1: gonna make sure you get fired. But disrespecting me, you're
- 18:03Speaker 1: taking your anger out on the ex wife and you're
- 18:07Speaker 1: taking it out on me. The anger that you have
- 18:08Speaker 1: for her, you're taking it out on me. That's what
- 18:10Speaker 1: you're doing. No, I'm taking out the disrespect that you
- 18:14Speaker 1: keep laying on top of me, like like you don't
- 18:16Speaker 1: know how to talk to somebody. I don't stand how
- 18:18Speaker 1: you have this job cone you disrespected me like this.
- 18:20Speaker 1: All I'm saying is the lady won't chad to have
- 18:23Speaker 1: this proof bask in business. None of your in business. So,
- 18:27Speaker 1: like I said, give you manager the pahone because I'm
- 18:29Speaker 1: seated it that you're fired. Okay, okay, all right, can
- 18:32Speaker 1: you hold on for a minute. Yeah, I can't hold on.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Go ahead any time. This is the man's wife. She
- 18:39Speaker 1: don't want me to deliver the stuff because the ex
- 18:41Speaker 1: wife is who sent it to him, and she don't serious.
- 18:46Speaker 1: So now she got an attitude and she's cutting at
- 18:49Speaker 1: me and I've been talking crazy to her and I
- 18:52Speaker 1: have it the boots stuff in spite for him the

- 21:25Speaker 1: to my boyfriend all the way home. And what did
- 21:28Speaker 1: I do that was so wrong? I don't think did
- 21:31Speaker 1: anything wrong. You know, your battery on your car died,
- 21:35Speaker 1: you work at the bowling alley. Who his friends? Was bad?
- 21:39Speaker 1: You know two things is wrong with this guy? You
- 21:44Speaker 1: talk to him on the phone all the way home. Now,

- 22:14Speaker 1: If he's ready to leave you over this, right, this
- 22:19Speaker 1: ain't even this ain't even nothing. What's gonna happen if
- 22:23Speaker 1: you go further than the big stuff? Why didn't he
- 22:26Speaker 1: thank them for forgetting his girlfriend home safely, because that
- 22:30Speaker 1: ain't his issue. His issue is him shall yeah, thank
- 22:34Speaker 1: you her home for what you're getting a call with

- 22:46Speaker 1: know his girl. He got some problems, man, he got
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'd get away from that. Yeah, good ridden all right?
- 22:53Speaker 1: Moving on Steve to Tanny and Mount Vernon. Tammy says,
- 22:57Speaker 1: my husband came home with with his female co worker
- 23:00Speaker 1: his glasses in his pocket, and he tried to hide
- 23:02Speaker 1: them from me. He doesn't wear glasses at all, so
- 23:05Speaker 1: I don't believe him when he said he borrowed them
- 23:08Speaker 1: to read the text. Why does he have them? He
- 23:11Speaker 1: don't wear glasses at all. He borrowed them to read
- 23:14Speaker 1: a text? Why did he tell you that they was
- 23:18Speaker 1: his coworker's glass? What should he have said? Poor glassy? Oh?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Just yes, but they theyre in my pocket? Huh? How
- 23:36Speaker 1: to hear me? M? Somebody? Oh? Man, you know what.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I went to the restroom at work and somebody had
- 23:49Speaker 1: left the glasses in now and I picked him up.
- 23:53Speaker 1: They was on the floor when I was coming out
- 23:55Speaker 1: the bathroom because I had to adjust that, because why
- 23:58Speaker 1: would the female glasses being the man bathroom? So I
- 24:01Speaker 1: would adjust that lie on the flight because see when
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm listening to myself lie. Also, you know I listened
- 24:08Speaker 1: to the details. I went, there's an art to this.
- 24:12Speaker 1: You're detailed, liar. Yeah, yeah, you know you got the
- 24:17Speaker 1: you know you got to know where you're adding this thing.
- 24:19Speaker 1: But I don't see why he told her that I
- 24:23Speaker 1: can't help you don't because that was the truth. That
- 24:27Speaker 1: was the truth. Remember the truth? All right, Um, I'm
- 24:30Speaker 1: told y'all about this truth though overrated? All right, all right?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Moving on to Shari and Montgomery. Shari says, I waited
- 24:41Speaker 1: outside of my husband's side chick's house and he refused
- 24:45Speaker 1: to come outside. I call the police, and my husband
- 24:48Speaker 1: called me a drama queen. He thinks he can sit
- 24:51Speaker 1: in the house and not talk to me after being
- 24:53Speaker 1: with this woman. How can I get him? How can
- 24:57Speaker 1: I get him out without going to the police and
- 24:59Speaker 1: while get with getting the police involved? Wait a minute,
- 25:05Speaker 1: how do you get him out? Yeah? Out of her house?
- 25:10Speaker 1: You mean she just drove over there and he was
- 25:13Speaker 1: sitting in there or he stayed at Now, well, he
- 25:17Speaker 1: was at the side chick's house, she was outside, he
- 25:20Speaker 1: didn't come outside. Would you call the police. Her husband
- 25:24Speaker 1: called her drama queen, and I'm assuming they're back at
- 25:28Speaker 1: home now. Yeah, he thinks he can sit in the
- 25:31Speaker 1: house and not talk to me after being with this woman.
- 25:34Speaker 1: How can I get oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah,
- 25:37Speaker 1: oh oh, okay, he thinks he could sit in this
- 25:39Speaker 1: house and not talk to me. How can I get
- 25:42Speaker 1: him out? I think she's referring to get him out
- 25:45Speaker 1: of their house, their house, right because he back in
- 25:47Speaker 1: that sitting in that talking and he's not gonna talk
- 25:50Speaker 1: to her right after being with this other woman. Well,
- 25:55Speaker 1: this thing I can tell you is make that house
- 25:57Speaker 1: a very unpeaceful and unpleasant place to be. That's that,
- 26:06Speaker 1: you know, you know, silent treatment with cooking, uh, start
- 26:16Speaker 1: burning clothes. Okay, we went from not talking to sa
- 26:24Speaker 1: you know all of that, you know, and just just
- 26:28Speaker 1: you know, just mak it just unpleasant, you know, cook bad,
- 26:32Speaker 1: you know it just it's a lot of things you
- 26:35Speaker 1: can do to make it unpleasant around that. For him,
- 26:38Speaker 1: he just not gonna mention the woman. He gonna sit
- 26:42Speaker 1: there and go deaf. I ain't got to talk about that.
- 26:45Speaker 1: That's a great, a great way to approach it. Brother,
- 26:48Speaker 1: But how long. You think that's gonna last. That can
- 26:53Speaker 1: only last for so long, because you know what, men
- 26:57Speaker 1: ain't really good at the silent treatment. That ain't what.
- 27:01Speaker 1: We ain't got nothing to say, going now, get on
- 27:03Speaker 1: my face. I ain't talking about that with you. Oh okay,
- 27:07Speaker 1: that's one. Okay, that's a horrible situation right there. Yeah
- 27:12Speaker 1: it is, yeah, it is, It is all right? Moving
- 27:15Speaker 1: on to this is the last one. Steve Antonia in Bristol.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Antonia says, my husband is fallen asleep on me at
- 27:22Speaker 1: least three times, the last three times we were intimate.
- 27:25Speaker 1: I like a longer session with my toys, and he
- 27:28Speaker 1: is more of a one and done type of a guy.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Is it normal for a forty eight year old man
- 27:33Speaker 1: to get tired out in the bedroom after one go round?
- 27:38Speaker 1: Not at what's the problem? Well, oh it's her, it's her.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Well what's wrong with her? Why do you wait? She says?
- 27:53Speaker 1: She need longer sessions? Well, this is what I do
- 27:59Speaker 1: is a battery head, no feelings. This is all I
- 28:02Speaker 1: got for you, right eight minutes, that's what I got.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I'm excited. You excited. We got excited because you want
- 28:09Speaker 1: to stay excited. That ain't my mind work. I got
- 28:12Speaker 1: to recharge. This battery has to be recharged. I'll see
- 28:16Speaker 1: you tomorrow. But we but we can't come right back,
- 28:21Speaker 1: not not not with them all out effort. I didn't
- 28:24Speaker 1: put in here. Look at me, Look look right now?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Do I look like I just do? I look like
- 28:31Speaker 1: I need I'm warning done. Look at me. That's what
- 28:34Speaker 1: it is, all right, Thank you, Cielo. I think I
- 28:42Speaker 1: don't know. I think I don't know. Coming up at
- 28:45Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news
- 28:47Speaker 1: for you right after this. You're listening, well, everyone is
- 28:55Speaker 1: still riding high on the Rihanna Bowl. That's what we're
- 28:58Speaker 1: calling it. That's right, I mean the Super Bowl fifty seven.
- 29:03Speaker 1: We all saw her Super Bowl halftime performance, and Rihanna
- 29:07Speaker 1: was dressed from head to toe and bright red, beautiful red,
- 29:11Speaker 1: revealing a baby bump and becoming the first pregnant woman
- 29:15Speaker 1: ever to start in the halftime show. So congratulations to
- 29:19Speaker 1: Rihanna and her man A sap Rocky. Yes, yes, uh huh.
- 29:24Speaker 1: It was outstanding. I loved it. It was greatness, It
- 29:29Speaker 1: really was. She said all of her hits. Yes, you
- 29:33Speaker 1: didn't think so. She twelve song Harry Steven me, Yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 1: it was happening. Black man, Hey, no, I said, was
- 29:48Speaker 1: you gone on your shot fire stem? I didn't know.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I didn't know that the were all her songs. You know,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I didn't because a lot of those songs I've heard
- 30:05Speaker 1: just didn't you know, people up with it. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 1: didn't have time. Okay, tell me. We gave stephen A
- 30:14Speaker 1: right here on this show a chance to redeem himself.
- 30:17Speaker 1: You want to say you want to recover it? Sound
- 30:19Speaker 1: like I stuck my foot in my mouth. It's not
- 30:21Speaker 1: like I just said it was it said, was it?
- 30:24Speaker 1: That's all I did. You're making it bigger than one
- 30:26Speaker 1: it is, am I okay, all right, so that's it. Okay,
- 30:34Speaker 1: more and everybody just wanting, just wanted you can see face, Junior,
- 30:43Speaker 1: How do you feel about it? I loved it. I
- 30:45Speaker 1: thought she did great. Hey, I hope she come back
- 30:49Speaker 1: that yet. Black man, yeah, black women it okay, red
- 30:57Speaker 1: dress outfit we rate. I love all right, moving on,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I love. I love the choreography of it all. Yes,
- 31:10Speaker 1: the snow white outfits, the boys, boys back, that gidness,
- 31:14Speaker 1: they were dancing, they were it was really good. It
- 31:17Speaker 1: was good. The heights was scaring the hell out of me.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Oh my god. Oh okay, that's the hate that I didn't.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't throw no hate. You saying that
- 31:32Speaker 1: I did not throw. No, I'm just saying I'm thinking now.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I think a lot of short people's afraid of hip.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Some people don't like the six feet all right, Okay,
- 31:46Speaker 1: so guys. In other entertainment news, a pastor named Tiffany
- 31:50Speaker 1: Montgomery is upset that Christians who want to go to
- 31:54Speaker 1: beyonce Renaissance to her coming up. Um. She's upset with them,
- 31:59Speaker 1: She said during her recent sermon, I rebuke you in
- 32:02Speaker 1: the name of Jesus. Take a listen, any of you
- 32:06Speaker 1: who are going to Beyonce's concert, I rebuke you in
- 32:08Speaker 1: the name of Jesus. How dare you call yourself a Christian?
- 32:13Speaker 1: I don't care what pastor you got that is okay
- 32:15Speaker 1: with it. I don't care what pastor you got that
- 32:18Speaker 1: think it's cool. I don't care what pastor you got
- 32:20Speaker 1: that singing along that they saw because they want some cloud.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Why do you think that man call himself Jehovah? It
- 32:30Speaker 1: was short for Jehovah. When a witch has a covenant,
- 32:38Speaker 1: it's normally a small thing, which is covenants are normally
- 32:41Speaker 1: three to seven people. When it becomes thousands, it's called
- 32:44Speaker 1: a hide y'all a part of that, lady, be hid.
- 32:49Speaker 1: And you call yourself a Christian? Hate? Wait? You know, man,
- 33:01Speaker 1: I'm just you know, here's here's what killed me when
- 33:05Speaker 1: I see preachers taking the time out to tear somebody down. Yeah,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I just don't understand that coming from the poolpit. What
- 33:15Speaker 1: is your message of hope, redemption? You know, uh, eternal life?
- 33:21Speaker 1: You know, I'll give you all of that. What is
- 33:24Speaker 1: your message? I mean? And you and you didn't connected
- 33:28Speaker 1: to hive with that. The bee Hive is her fans.
- 33:33Speaker 1: She didn't name them that her fan club though. You
- 33:37Speaker 1: know what, but I don't I don't understand that. I
- 33:40Speaker 1: don't understand that type of messaging from the poolpit. You
- 33:43Speaker 1: don't have nothing else to talk about this Sunday. I mean,
- 33:52Speaker 1: how dare you call yourself a Christian if you go
- 33:54Speaker 1: to the beyond? What are you talking? Right? Man? It's
- 33:58Speaker 1: the same point, uh. The bee Hive, her fans have
- 34:02Speaker 1: dug out old tweet from Pastor Montgomery. She posted this
- 34:06Speaker 1: tweet back in twenty fourteen. She said got a chance
- 34:09Speaker 1: to catch the jay Z and Beyonce concert. It was amazing.
- 34:16Speaker 1: You got a beehive? Are you a hypocrite? Pastor Pastor
- 34:22Speaker 1: Montgomery has responded to the old tweets on her social
- 34:25Speaker 1: media page thing in part that was quote before she
- 34:28Speaker 1: got saved. So when you get saved, that now gives
- 34:34Speaker 1: you the permission to tear down people who you think
- 34:37Speaker 1: might not be saved like you got saved. See, people
- 34:40Speaker 1: kill me when they change day. Jesus is different from
- 34:44Speaker 1: everybody else. Jesus that day salvation puts him at a
- 34:47Speaker 1: different level than somebody else's salvation. You are never in
- 34:51Speaker 1: a position to judge a person's salvation. Everybody's walk with
- 34:55Speaker 1: God is a different walk. It's different paths because they
- 34:58Speaker 1: got different roads. They didn't t they got different histories.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Now you saved, Now all of a sudden, you all
- 35:04Speaker 1: this in a bag of chips. Well, see that don't
- 35:06Speaker 1: set well for the people that you're trying to minister too,
- 35:10Speaker 1: who may be trying to come up and live the
- 35:13Speaker 1: best life. But if they're watching, this is what the
- 35:16Speaker 1: best life represents. This is what Christianity is. This is
- 35:19Speaker 1: what save salvation does to you. Then miss me. I
- 35:23Speaker 1: don't want that type of salvation. All right? Coming up
- 35:28Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour, Oh, Junior's gonna bless
- 35:31Speaker 1: us with a Valentine's Day poem. Oh, yes, it is
- 35:34Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 35:40Speaker 1: It is Valentine's Day. Please in Junior, come on, please,
- 35:45Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. I'm not even gonna mess around with it.
- 35:47Speaker 1: You know who this is. This is a segment how
- 35:50Speaker 1: tenderly called Jay Rap Junior's raggedy ass poems. Go ahead,
- 35:56Speaker 1: thank you. You know. Today's a special day, is Valentine's Day.
- 35:59Speaker 1: This is day a love. So I had to do one.
- 36:02Speaker 1: There was no waly way I could do it. I
- 36:03Speaker 1: had to do so. Today's time to little today's poem.
- 36:07Speaker 1: It's called Happy Valentine's Day. Brilliant. That's how I got it.
- 36:15Speaker 1: I got it. Here we go. I'm married now, so
- 36:22Speaker 1: there's no way then I could forget that Today's Valentine's Day.
- 36:27Speaker 1: I kissed my wife before she walked out the door.
- 36:29Speaker 1: And when she gets home, I'm gonna give us some more.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I bought a nice gift and I might cook dinner
- 36:35Speaker 1: because this Valentine's Day. I want to be a winner now, uncan.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Tommy gave me a lot of great advice, So my
- 36:42Speaker 1: Valentine's Night is gonna be real, real nice. I would
- 36:46Speaker 1: have a full report for y'all tomorrow. Oh, I forgot
- 36:48Speaker 1: Happy Valentine's Day, Shirley and Carlin, roses are red, and
- 36:51Speaker 1: I wrote this poem to say that I hope everyone
- 36:54Speaker 1: has a happy Valentine's Day. The end, Boy, I'm brilliant.
- 36:57Speaker 1: I can't think roses are red? And stop right there?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Did you? But I can't. I can't keep doing this
- 37:04Speaker 1: time and I keep shocking myself. This is I'm getting
- 37:06Speaker 1: a brain headache or y'all not feeling this. I'm gonna
- 37:09Speaker 1: we're feeling you. I'm feeling I had the same you got. Yeah,
- 37:14Speaker 1: I'm about I'm about to pass out. Did you hear
- 37:16Speaker 1: me say Shirley and calling in the poem? By the
- 37:21Speaker 1: shout out, Junior, I want y'all to have one too.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I thought about talking all right now, I'm brill Yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I tell you what you're gonna do without me unking
- 37:29Speaker 1: the poem? Well, I'm killing them. Do it again a
- 37:35Speaker 1: timing because it's my first one. I'm married now. See
- 37:37Speaker 1: if I put that at the beginning, I'm married now,
- 37:40Speaker 1: so there's no way that I could forget that today
- 37:43Speaker 1: is Valentine's Day. I kiss my wife, which I did
- 37:46Speaker 1: before she walked out the door. And when she gets home,
- 37:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna give us some more that I bought a
- 37:51Speaker 1: nice gift, and I might cook dinner because this Valentine's Day,
- 37:54Speaker 1: I want to be a winner, uncan. Timmy gave me
- 37:57Speaker 1: a lot of great advice, So my Valentine's Night gonna
- 37:59Speaker 1: be read real nice. I will have a full report
- 38:02Speaker 1: for y'all tomorrow. Up. Oh, don't worry about it. Have
- 38:05Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, Shirley and call it. Roses are red. And
- 38:08Speaker 1: I wrote this poem to say that I hope everyone
- 38:11Speaker 1: has a happy Valentine's Day. The end, I thought about everybody,
- 38:14Speaker 1: I think, Yo, yeah, I thought about everybody. First of all,
- 38:19Speaker 1: I did that. That's what I see. I thought about everybody.
- 38:22Speaker 1: I did. Agree one more Tuesday, all right, coming up
- 38:31Speaker 1: in thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll talk about
- 38:33Speaker 1: what the average American will spend on Valentine's Day. That's
- 38:37Speaker 1: coming up right after this, won't You're listening to morning show.
- 38:46Speaker 1: All right, so today is Valentine's Day and Americans in
- 38:49Speaker 1: a relationship will be spending an average of one hundred
- 38:52Speaker 1: and eighty seven dollars on their significant other this Valentine's Day,
- 38:56Speaker 1: and that is down ten percent from last year's average
- 39:00Speaker 1: of two hundred and eight dollars. Couples who've been together
- 39:03Speaker 1: longer tend to spend less than those and new relationships. Junior.
- 39:07Speaker 1: So this is a question for the guys. Does your
- 39:10Speaker 1: spouse tell you what they want or do you surprise them? Steve,
- 39:15Speaker 1: you're very, very romantic. Everyone knows that. So please give
- 39:19Speaker 1: us a few suggestions on how to do Valentine's Day
- 39:22Speaker 1: on a budget, if you will. Oh, inflation is quite
- 39:27Speaker 1: a bit of it hesitancy. Well, give me the budget
- 39:32Speaker 1: you want me to work with. Okay, Well do the
- 39:36Speaker 1: today's average. They say people are spending one hundred and
- 39:39Speaker 1: eighty seven dollars two hundred dollars two hundred. Yeah, we'll
- 39:43Speaker 1: round it up, good, Tommy, We'll round it up to
- 39:45Speaker 1: two hundred dollars a spall package. I don't know how
- 39:50Speaker 1: much that costs, but I think that's too Hundy, that's
- 39:52Speaker 1: too hundred well, you know, well, we're not gonna do
- 39:56Speaker 1: the whole package day and we just you. You're not
- 40:04Speaker 1: gonna get back just two hundred damn dollars, now, you know,
- 40:10Speaker 1: two hundred dollars. Of course everybody now sheually gonna go
- 40:13Speaker 1: canny and flowers. But I think if you put a
- 40:16Speaker 1: little bit more thought into it, I think if fellas
- 40:20Speaker 1: if you did something like you even if you can't cook,
- 40:26Speaker 1: even if you bought dinner home tonight, you bought at home,
- 40:31Speaker 1: you know, from a restaurant, get take out, take it
- 40:34Speaker 1: in there and played it real nice. I go on
- 40:38Speaker 1: the internet and see how food look on plates, and
- 40:40Speaker 1: set your plate up the same way. Make sure you
- 40:44Speaker 1: take wet napkin to wipe all the drip marks out
- 40:48Speaker 1: of where you took it out the box, because I've
- 40:50Speaker 1: learned that from watching shelves. When you put food on
- 40:54Speaker 1: the plate, wipe around the area that don't have food
- 40:57Speaker 1: on it, so it looks like each individual item. Set
- 41:00Speaker 1: that neat you know. Then present dinner to her tonight
- 41:06Speaker 1: that can be under two hundred dollars, and you set
- 41:09Speaker 1: the table, buy some candles on the way in, and
- 41:13Speaker 1: sit across from him and have a dinner. I think
- 41:16Speaker 1: that's extra. You know, if you're really trying to make
- 41:20Speaker 1: Brownie point, you got to do something a public PDA
- 41:24Speaker 1: public display of affection has to be in front of
- 41:28Speaker 1: all the women, so the women's men, so the women's
- 41:32Speaker 1: men who did not do anything feel shamed, and your
- 41:36Speaker 1: girl gets a stick or chest out like a peacock.
- 41:40Speaker 1: At the office. Anything you can do down at the office,
- 41:44Speaker 1: singing telegrams, video presentations, anything you could do outside the
- 41:53Speaker 1: office in front of her girls where they could all
- 41:55Speaker 1: see it. Anything you can get sent up to the
- 41:57Speaker 1: office in front of people, always goes over really really well. Okay,
- 42:04Speaker 1: your two hundred dollars, that ain't purse money. Get that
- 42:07Speaker 1: out your head. You're not gonna get the purse. She
- 42:12Speaker 1: won't with your two hundred Uh, get up off of that.
- 42:16Speaker 1: And so you know, just be creative like that. Okay,
- 42:20Speaker 1: that's good, Steve, I like that. That's good, very creative. Okay,
- 42:24Speaker 1: what if you got, let's five hundred dollars five hundred,
- 42:30Speaker 1: or you can do the dinner at the house. You
- 42:32Speaker 1: can do flowers at the job, dinner at the house,
- 42:35Speaker 1: flowers at the job, run her bathwater, let her bathe
- 42:40Speaker 1: you tie pat her dry, and then you want a
- 42:45Speaker 1: different type of candy bought in you won't go to
- 42:49Speaker 1: the diver chocolate and get them chocolate covered strawberries. Women
- 42:53Speaker 1: love that, and didn't have the champagne with it, and
- 42:56Speaker 1: have on the side of the same champagne a little
- 43:00Speaker 1: up with confectionary white powdered sugar in it. That was
- 43:06Speaker 1: there for. That's for when you take your finger and
- 43:10Speaker 1: dip it into champagne, put it on. Dip that wet
- 43:15Speaker 1: finger in the powdered sugar and put it on it,
- 43:17Speaker 1: and take off that powder sugar with your mouth. Happy
- 43:26Speaker 1: day you all right? Coming up next it is the
- 43:34Speaker 1: prank phone call for today from the nephew. Right after
- 43:37Speaker 1: this you're listening to show. Coming up at the top

- 53:32Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject is there
- 53:36Speaker 1: something better out there? Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty two
- 53:40Speaker 1: years old and I've been dating a married man for
- 53:42Speaker 1: fourteen years. Our arrangement works out great, and we have
- 53:46Speaker 1: a condo together and we traveled together. My family loves him,
- 53:50Speaker 1: and I love his family. Our condo is downtown and
- 53:54Speaker 1: his house in the suburbs with his wife is in
- 53:57Speaker 1: the suburbs with his wife, so I've never run into
- 53:59Speaker 1: them together. He put me in his will recently after
- 54:03Speaker 1: he had his appendix removed, and that strengthened his commitment
- 54:07Speaker 1: to me. Our connection is so real. I lost a
- 54:11Speaker 1: lot of married girlfriends over the years that say I'm
- 54:14Speaker 1: a homewrecker and I need to get a life and
- 54:16Speaker 1: leave this man alone. I believe it is possible to
- 54:19Speaker 1: love more than one person, so that is why I
- 54:22Speaker 1: have been thinking about stepping out on my man and
- 54:24Speaker 1: getting a man on the side. I have been with
- 54:27Speaker 1: the same guy for fourteen years, and I know he's
- 54:30Speaker 1: not having sex with his wife, but I want to
- 54:33Speaker 1: experiment a little with someone new, just in case he is.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I meet men all the time, but the one I
- 54:39Speaker 1: met last week has really got my attention. The first night,
- 54:43Speaker 1: he sent me nudes and I was very impressed. I
- 54:47Speaker 1: told him I am in a relationship and he said
- 54:49Speaker 1: that's fine for now, but I'm going to be his
- 54:52Speaker 1: woman one day soon. He is fifty and he's never
- 54:57Speaker 1: been married. I want to get to know him, but
- 54:59Speaker 1: he wants to rush right into sex. I feel like
- 55:02Speaker 1: I should be honest with my boyfriend and tell him
- 55:04Speaker 1: I've met someone. This new guy said, I don't have
- 55:07Speaker 1: to tell my married man anything. He said, I should
- 55:11Speaker 1: have a man all to myself, and I'm selling myself short.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I'm not like other women that need a man around
- 55:17Speaker 1: all of the time. So I was content. The new
- 55:20Speaker 1: guy has me thinking is there something better out there?
- 55:24Speaker 1: Or does he just want to have sex? Well? Yes,
- 55:28Speaker 1: and yes? Is there something better out there? Yes? Does
- 55:31Speaker 1: he just want to have sex? Yes? I cannot believe
- 55:35Speaker 1: this letter. I mean, really, do you hear yourself. You've
- 55:38Speaker 1: been with a married man for fourteen years that you've
- 55:43Speaker 1: been fooled into thinking doesn't have sex with his wife. Wow.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Just because you guys have a condo together, just because
- 55:51Speaker 1: you travel together, doesn't mean they are not at home
- 55:55Speaker 1: in the suburbs doing it. He lives with her, he
- 55:58Speaker 1: sleeps with her. Okay, you wrote this letter like everything
- 56:02Speaker 1: is fine, You're cool, everything's good. Well, it's not fine.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Everything is not good. Everyone sees this, but you. The
- 56:10Speaker 1: married women that used to be your friends don't like you.
- 56:13Speaker 1: He's creeping, he's cheating with you. You're still the other woman.
- 56:17Speaker 1: You're still the side piece to jump off all of that.
- 56:19Speaker 1: He may have put you in his will, but really,
- 56:22Speaker 1: if something happens to him, who do you think the
- 56:24Speaker 1: insurance company is gonna contact? Not you the wife? Okay,
- 56:29Speaker 1: you have no rights, You have no stay in this
- 56:31Speaker 1: man's life. That would be fourteen years you put in
- 56:34Speaker 1: for nothing? What a waste? Don't you want a man
- 56:39Speaker 1: of your own? And I'll tell you this, this new man,
- 56:43Speaker 1: I don't think he's right either, because he just wants sex.
- 56:46Speaker 1: You said it yourself. You need to get out of
- 56:48Speaker 1: this going nowhere relationship. Don't even entertain this new guy.
- 56:52Speaker 1: So yes, again, there is something better out there for you,
- 56:55Speaker 1: but you can't see it because you won't get out
- 56:57Speaker 1: of your own way. You are fifty two years old.
- 57:00Speaker 1: You gotta do better for yourself. Neither one of these
- 57:03Speaker 1: guys mean you any good, So stop letting them use
- 57:06Speaker 1: you for sex and just get out now. Steve, I'm
- 57:11Speaker 1: gonna just jump right into this letter right here, because
- 57:14Speaker 1: this letter right here is kind of makes me mad
- 57:18Speaker 1: throughout the letter. It's fifty two year old woman, been
- 57:21Speaker 1: dating the married man for fourteen years. She started this
- 57:24Speaker 1: when she was thirty eight. That's a big chunk of
- 57:26Speaker 1: your life dedicated to something that ain't going nowhere. Obviously,
- 57:30Speaker 1: our arrangement works out great, and we have a condo together,
- 57:33Speaker 1: and we traveled together. My family loves him. I love
- 57:37Speaker 1: his family. Where's this going? Our condo is downtown and
- 57:42Speaker 1: his houses and the suburbs with his wife. So I've
- 57:44Speaker 1: never run into them together. Well, that's because it's the
- 57:49Speaker 1: perfect distance. You downtown during the suburbs. He got a
- 57:52Speaker 1: creep crib and you in it. He put me in
- 57:56Speaker 1: his real recently after he had his appendix removed, and
- 57:58Speaker 1: that strengthen his commitment to me. No, lady, he told
- 58:02Speaker 1: you he put you in his will. He told you
- 58:06Speaker 1: that you sit up there and tell your wife, we
- 58:09Speaker 1: were fit to put this in the wheel. Were you crazy? Honey?
- 58:14Speaker 1: Put you in no damn will. He told you that
- 58:17Speaker 1: that line made me sicker than any other line damn
- 58:19Speaker 1: than in this letter. Put you in his will. Our
- 58:23Speaker 1: connection is so real. I lost a lot of married
- 58:25Speaker 1: girlfriends over the years and say I'm a homewreck and
- 58:27Speaker 1: I needed to get a life and lead this man alone.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I believe it's possible to love more than one person,
- 58:34Speaker 1: So that is why I'm half thinking about stepping out
- 58:38Speaker 1: on my man and getting a man on the side.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Well why not? Why not? You aside? Now you are,
- 58:45Speaker 1: Now you're thinking about getting a man on the side,
- 58:47Speaker 1: And you say it's because you believe that a person
- 58:50Speaker 1: can love more than one person. That that's what he
- 58:53Speaker 1: told you. See, he took the married dude told you that.
- 58:57Speaker 1: That's where you got that from. So now you're thinking, well,
- 59:00Speaker 1: okay with since he loved two people, let me go
- 59:02Speaker 1: love two people. I've been with the same guy for
- 59:05Speaker 1: fourteen years, and I know he's not having sex with
- 59:08Speaker 1: his wife. What what in fourteen years? They ain't got
- 59:15Speaker 1: no kids. This man ain't got no kids. How you
- 59:20Speaker 1: think they got him. I want to experiment with a little,
- 59:25Speaker 1: a little with someone new, just in case he is.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I thought you said he wasn't having sex. Now you
- 59:30Speaker 1: say you want to experiment on the side just in case. Yah,
- 59:34Speaker 1: you mean just in case he having sex at his
- 59:37Speaker 1: house and the end the penthouse, little girl, all right, Steve,
- 59:44Speaker 1: hang on, hang on, okay, we'll have part two of
- 59:46Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject is there something better out there?
- 59:53Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this You're listening show.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Have you thought about buying life insurance but thought it
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: was too expensive or too complicated? Globe Life makes buying
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: life insurance easy and affordable with no medical exam, just
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: a simple application with rate starting at three dollars and
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: forty nine cents a month. Now is the best time
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to secure a valuable coverage from Globe Life called one
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred, or go
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: to Globe Life Radio dot com. That's one eight hundred
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: two five one fifty four hundred. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is is there
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: something better out there? Fitted you? Your woman been dating
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: this man for fourteen years. The arrangement is great. They
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: got a little apartment together downtown. His family lives out
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: in the suburbs. She feels as though their relationship to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: strengthen now because he put me in his wheel recently
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: after his appendix and that strengthen his commitment to me.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: That didn't listen to me. How does that strengthen his
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: commitment to you? He put you in the wheel. This
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: is after he died. What where's the commitment after he died?
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Do you understand what the wheel is? It's enforced after
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the death of the person. If he's strengthening his commitment
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: to you, it ain't after death. He goes, he ain't
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: committed to nobody. Now, and let me tell you something.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: You ain't in no wheel. He told you he put
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you in the wheel. You believe anything? You can't? You
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: kind of stupid? Really, Then you said, I believe it's
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: possible a little more than one person. That's because he
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: told you that too. That's why I've been thinking about
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: stepping out on my man and getting the man on
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the side. I've been in the same guy for fourteen years.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: I know he's not having sex with his wife. He is,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: but I want to experiment a little with someone new,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: just in case he is. Okay, he's having sex with
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: his wife. I'm just gonna tell you that, man, and
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you want to experience somebody just in case he is. Ain't. No,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: in case he is, I meet me and all the time,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: but the one I met last week really got my attention. Okay,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: listen to this line. The first night he sent me nudes,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and I was very impressed. You was impressed the first
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: night he sent you nudes, and you was impressed. Your
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: aunt should have been scared. See, you don't know what
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: to feel. This man just met you, and all of
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: a sudden he's sending the nude pictures and you was impressed.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Your ass should have been scared. I told him I'm
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: in a relationship, and he said, that's fine for now,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: but I'm going to be his woman one day soon. Okay, ladies,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I want to teach you all something. If a man
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: says to you, you gonna be my woman one day soon,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I want you to hear what that really means. That
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: means you gonna be his woman for one day, and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: the next line, as soon as possible. So as soon
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: as possible, you're gonna be his woman for one day. Now,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: he had already sent you nudes, and then he follows
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: it up with this line right here. He don't even
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: know you. He's fifteen, he's never been married, and I
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: want to get to know him, but he wants to
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: rush right into sex. That's why he sent the news
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: you got the new picture. You're right about that. He
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: sent you the new picture first night. I feel like
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I should be honest with my boyfriend and tell him
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I met someone. Okay, then what okay? Go ahead to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: try that and then write us back. Let us know
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: how go go go ahead and tell him that. The
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: new guy said, I don't have to tell my married
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: man anything. For people can just tell you anything, can't
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: yo boy side said, you ain't got to tell him nothing.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: You should have a man all to yourself. And I'm
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: selling myself short. I'm not like other women that need
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: a man around all the time. So I was content.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: The new guy has me thinking, is there's something better
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: out there? Does he just want to say? Shirley's absolutely right,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Yes he does, won't say and that's all he wanted
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to say. He just met you. He's send you nudes
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: the first night. You impressed and you should have been scared.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Who does that? If you meet a guy on the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: first night he sent your new picture of himself. What
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: you think he wants? How stupid can you be? Didn't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: he tell you don't need to tell your friend nothing
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: because he know now he gonna talk you out of
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: sleeping with him. Look, lady, you got low self esteem
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: fourteen years you with someone that ain't going nowhere. Now
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you want experiment, but because you don't have any experience
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: at dating, you just have experience at creeping. Now you
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: don't even know what to say to the dude that's dating. So, lady,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I don't look, I don't know. I don't know. Let
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: me see what she asked us fault. Is that something
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: better out there? Of course it is? Yeah, But see
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the problem with you getting something better is you ain't
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: what better people want? See that the word you can't
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: get what you don't give. You want a man that's upstanding,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: it's gonna treat you right when you're not treating other
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: people right. Or you want somebody to treat you a
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: certain way when you let anybody treat you any kind
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: of way. So is it something better out there? To
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: answer that question is absolutely there's something better out there.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: But that's something better is looking for something better hisself,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: and right now you ain't it. So I don't know
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: what you want, and I don't know what anybody out
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: there wants that does this type of thing. So that's
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: it for you. I don't know what else to tell you. Yeah, Now, look,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: let's be adults about this whole thing. Situations happen, that's life.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: But lady, you wrote in I'm just telling you you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you going down and you're to know where relationship and
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: you just gotta understand that if you were seeing other
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: people trying to get your life together, I'd understand that
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: you've been on whole for fourteen years. Yeah, all right,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey f Emine, Instagram and Facebook, and check
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hour, Junior is in
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: the building with Sports Talk. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time now, ladies
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: and gentlemen for Junior and Sports Talk. All right, fell
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: as well? You know Super Bowls over one though one
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: play though, we got to talk about the call. James
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Bradberry was called for holding on Juju Smith Schuster. That
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: happened under two minutes, which made the play non reviewable
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and it probably could have changed the game. Now when
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: he saw that play, did you really feel like they
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: should have made that call, and then should we make
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: all calls reviewable? I think all calls should be reviewable.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: But I think it was a good call though, I
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: still do. I still think it was a good call.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: If it was vice versus I think it. You know,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: it is what it is. I don't have no dog
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: in the fight, so right. But yeah, but but that
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: call changed that entire game, though, because it allowed Kansas
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: City to run the clock out, and that's what it did.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: He didn't really take him off his route. If you
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: if you're gonna make a holding call, you gotta be
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: able to turn the player off his route. I think
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: in the playoffs, I think they should review all calls.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I think so. I don't. I don't think that that
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: that that happened affected anything in a way that prevented
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: him from catching the pass. See we get to see
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it in slow motion from the REVS perspective, he made
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: a good call. You know, when you look at it
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: and you see all this, then no, but you know,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I thought it was a horrible, horrible way for that
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: game to end. I didn't like, Hey, what you know,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I I just didn't like the way the damn game end.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Then I just really, you know, run your ass seeing
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the scot let's go, man. I was so mad, man,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: But then I've been mad at people for scoring when
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: they could have preserved the clock and gotten to win.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: So I respected the strategy because they used the rules
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: of the game to use the clock and they didn't
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: give these boys time to come back out there. I
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: got that, I saw that. I appreciate that, but I
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: just didn't like the way it ended. Man. The game
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: was too good to end like that. Are you still man?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Are you really still man? Yeah? Represented Willy right now
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: for a while right here. Yeah. Yeah, I'm mad at
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Philly defensive coordinator in the second half too. Yeah he's
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: still oh okay, was doing the second half all right, junior.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Oh Man, And thank you Steve for coming in on
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the second half of sports. Still still he's still mad. Yeah.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, this guy
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: in social media, Steve needs your advice. He says, My
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: cuffing partner wants an extension. We'll talk about it right
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: after this you're listening show. Kenny on Facebook writes, my
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: cuffing season partner wants to extend the relationship. We got
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: into this thing just before Halloween, with the understanding that
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: we would enjoy each other's company through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: New Year's and then move along. And we were both
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: fine with it, or so I thought. Now yesterday she
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: let flip all of the surprises she had planned for
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Valentine's Day. It got awkward when I told her I
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: was planning to stick with the original plan and move on.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: So here's a question for Uncle Steve. Did she have
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: a plan that I didn't know about going into this thing? Well, see,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: a lot of times people think you're just gonna do
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: this for fun, but fun turns into other things. And
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I have forewarned women about this a thousand times. I said, women,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: be careful about trying to go on test drives because
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: you might wind up getting drolled. Careful going on test
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: drives because you might wind up getting drove. Now she
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: planning all this stuff for Valentine's Day, and now you don't.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: She'll now you don't want to cooperate, which I agree
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: with you, because that was the agreement. I ain't mad
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: at to do because that's what y'all said y'all was
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: going to do. But now she didn't got on this
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: test driving to develop some feelings. See, it's hard for
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: women to do this thing like men can do it.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: You know, just take Yeah, most women like to have
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: some emotion attached to it. You know, they've changed the
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: stuff because men have made women change. So you know,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: it's sad when you fall into these little traps that
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: men have said all over the place, and now you
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: want to have something real and he don't. So too bad, lady, Wow,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: too bad. And the guy is writing for advice. I mean, bro,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: you saying what you're saying. I mean, bro, no, that's
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: what he if he ain't feeling her. Yeah, you know
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you want to you want to get out now, you
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: want to get out right after Valentine's Day, going to
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: do the surprises and then move on. But see homeboy,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: homeboy kept this in his heart, so he was just
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: coffing for that time. He got somebody else, and that's
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: probably who he go hook up with on things giving.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I mean, I mean on Valentine's Day. My bad, that's
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: who he gonna hook up with today. Yeah, so it's
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: over with, that's what he That's why he didn't wrote
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: in right quick, because he got plans for this night
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: with a new Valentine he did, he got he got
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: another cuffing seas. He do two cuffing seasons a year.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: He do. He'd do October all the way through New
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Year's and then he'd come again. Then he'd do Valentine's
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Day through the fourth of July. He takes the summer
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: off to recover and line up the book in the recruits,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: and then he back into cuffing season as Halloween New
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Year's then we go Valentine's Day the fourth of July.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Then after that he takes some time off. He takes
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: off he free Labor Day yea with his boy trash
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: and everything. Well okay, okay, yeah, but what you're saying
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: is when guys tell you that they mean what they say,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: you know, I don't need you get mad at him.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: She won't extend it. That's cool. That ain't what the
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: contracts say, the contract, the verbal contract. Well okay, um,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I don't think we have time for another one. You
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: did if you were started, got a minute, come uncle Steve,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: here's another one, Um, Sherry and Steve Harvey FM rights.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I've been flirting with this guy online that lives in
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: the next town over. He seems like he's nice and
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: we have a couple of friends in common, but now
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: he wants to meet up in real life, and I
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: don't know if I'm comfortable with that. Would it be
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: weird for me to ask one of the friends we
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: have in common to come on a date with us?
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: How would you handle this? I mean, you go on
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: the double date. So y'all know each other and all
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: like this, Yeah, I double date. That'd be nice, nice
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: way to get breaking cozy y'all a romantic yet yeah,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: double date would be a good idea, do it? Yeah? Yeah,

- 1:14:57Speaker 1: she's super human. Let's fix that. Let's let's fix well,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: let's see you about that. She She posted a cap
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: caption recently that says, sometimes you bust your asss all right,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Hallie tripped and fell down going up to the podium
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: at a recent speaking engagement. She recovered and just laughed
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: it off. Okay, because she's what human humans fall sometimes.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: So once you recover, Tommy, I want to ask you,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: how do you feel about this? When my baby failed?

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Well did you see how he looked at you? Calor?
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: What my bad? Okay? What happened when she fell? My
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: heart dropped. I was fiber glassed, I was gassed. I
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: just I lost it. I lost it and I just
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: hate I wasn't there to pick her up and get
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: her back on track. It just you just cry. It
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: hurts my spirit. And I wasn't there, and I couldn't
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: be there for her and I could hold her and
