- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out? Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your fad, huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, man boy, God has been
- 2:14Speaker 1: good to me. Man, I can't really count at all.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You can't either, you know, it's all in perspective. You
- 2:22Speaker 1: really can't count all that God has done for you.
- 2:25Speaker 1: If you look at every little thing. It's unbelievable. The
- 2:29Speaker 1: things He's done for us. How many times you know
- 2:32Speaker 1: we got through something without even talking to him about it.
- 2:35Speaker 1: He just he just blessed us with it. How many
- 2:38Speaker 1: you know? It's just it's so much that the fact
- 2:41Speaker 1: that you wake up in the morning, the fact that
- 2:44Speaker 1: you still have a place to stay, the fact that
- 2:46Speaker 1: you know, may be struggling out here, but guess what,
- 2:48Speaker 1: you're still going to work. You you know, you live
- 2:51Speaker 1: in check the check, but but you're making it all.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You got all the plates spinning. You know, it's hard.
- 2:56Speaker 1: You got a lot of plate spinning, but you keep
- 2:57Speaker 1: him up there somewhere every now and near one. But
- 3:00Speaker 1: he put two more back up there to look a
- 3:02Speaker 1: little bit better, and you got to get to spending
- 3:03Speaker 1: them so it all works. And then you got a
- 3:07Speaker 1: lot of people who just can't seem to mentally put
- 3:11Speaker 1: it together as to you know, why their life isn't
- 3:16Speaker 1: in a position that they wanted to be. We talked
- 3:18Speaker 1: about this oftentimes, but I want to try another angle
- 3:21Speaker 1: with you to day. You know, maybe it's you. Have
- 3:27Speaker 1: you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 3:32Speaker 1: no external force that's at fault, like you keep making
- 3:35Speaker 1: the excuse to be. You know, so many people I hear, well,
- 3:39Speaker 1: if this hadn't have done this, if he hadn't have
- 3:42Speaker 1: done that, if she hadn't have done that, I would
- 3:44Speaker 1: have been further along. I wasted all my time, my
- 3:48Speaker 1: years with this man, and he did this, and I
- 3:51Speaker 1: could have been here and I could have been there,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and this woman she did this to me. If she
- 3:56Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I could have been here and
- 3:58Speaker 1: I could have been there. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: not really that external force that you keep making it
- 4:06Speaker 1: out to be. See, I've done this to myself before.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Once again, I'm talking to you about something I know about.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I've done this to myself before. I've had the reason
- 4:20Speaker 1: I wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it
- 4:23Speaker 1: figured out as some external force. I had worked it
- 4:28Speaker 1: out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me. Because if
- 4:33Speaker 1: so and so, or if this hadn't happened, and if
- 4:35Speaker 1: they hadn't have done this, I would have been further
- 4:38Speaker 1: along up the road. That's what I was saying. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: WOLDO hold on it or learned a valuable lesson? Man, See,
- 4:47Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:05Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:11Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:15Speaker 1: outside and try that. Try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:22Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you're looking at in
- 5:25Speaker 1: that rear view mirror is where you're passed, or should
- 5:28Speaker 1: have passed, something you should have moved on from. All
- 5:31Speaker 1: you're doing is looking in that rearview mirror at what
- 5:34Speaker 1: happened back there. If you don't stop looking in the
- 5:39Speaker 1: rearview mirror, you're gonna crash your car over and over
- 5:43Speaker 1: and over again. All you got to slow it down
- 5:48Speaker 1: so bad in order for you to keep looking in
- 5:52Speaker 1: that rearview mirror. If you don't learn to let it go,
- 5:58Speaker 1: it's gonna be hard for you to go forward because
- 6:03Speaker 1: you keep reviewing the past. The past is the past,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and I know it's hard. Man. I watched a show
- 6:10Speaker 1: and this lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive
- 6:13Speaker 1: them for that, or guess what. Guess what God may
- 6:18Speaker 1: have already forgiven that person. That person may be extremely remorseful,
- 6:24Speaker 1: could have gone to God and godd and forgiveness for
- 6:26Speaker 1: it years ago. But you you sit here and you
- 6:32Speaker 1: keep hanging on to the back. I can't ever forgive that.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Then I heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one
- 6:39Speaker 1: time and say something that really really struck on You
- 6:43Speaker 1: keep drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He said that. I just shook my head and went, Wow,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Revenge is poison to you. You know, if hatred is
- 7:06Speaker 1: poison to you. Unforgivingness when you won't forgive a person,
- 7:12Speaker 1: that person could be going on with their life, made
- 7:15Speaker 1: the right with God. Don't know how you're feeling. They're
- 7:18Speaker 1: skipping through life now. You make adjustments every time you
- 7:21Speaker 1: see them. And it takes energy. Man, it takes so
- 7:24Speaker 1: much energy to hate. It takes so much energy not
- 7:28Speaker 1: to forgive too. That ain't come in the room. You
- 7:31Speaker 1: got to avoid them. Stay over here, Oh here they come. Now,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you got to make a situation over here. They come
- 7:37Speaker 1: into the house. It's family reunion. Oh here they come.
- 7:40Speaker 1: And where they're gonna be in the basement. I'm going
- 7:42Speaker 1: up on the third floor. I want to go ahead
- 7:43Speaker 1: and get some barbecue. She out there at the barbecue, staying,
- 7:46Speaker 1: oh lord, I don't want a barbecue. I just eat
- 7:48Speaker 1: to take the salad. People man take themselves all out
- 7:51Speaker 1: of position, trying to make adjustments when if you it
- 7:55Speaker 1: would simplify your life, if you would let just let
- 7:59Speaker 1: it go. Maybe you ain't where you need to be
- 8:02Speaker 1: because of them external forces altogether. Maybe you're not where
- 8:07Speaker 1: you need to be cause of you. Because you won't
- 8:10Speaker 1: let it go, you won't move forward. Look at this, ladies.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Let's say you've been in a situation with a man
- 8:18Speaker 1: for years. It didn't work out for whatever the reason.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I got, I got what you said he did, I
- 8:24Speaker 1: got what he did, I got all of that, YadA,
- 8:27Speaker 1: YadA YadA. When you get through, did not God get
- 8:32Speaker 1: you through it? Did not he allow you to survive it.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I got you been a little bit bruised, But did
- 8:41Speaker 1: he not get you through it? So, now that he's
- 8:45Speaker 1: freed you from it, now he didn't went on. He
- 8:47Speaker 1: got a whole an other family over that somewhere. He not.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Now he trying to make it right because maybe he
- 8:52Speaker 1: learned the mistake he made and now he trying to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be a better man. He just trying to get it
- 8:56Speaker 1: right now. But you sitting that holding on to it,
- 9:00Speaker 1: You're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So now instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally
- 9:06Speaker 1: being free from a situation that was not healthy for you.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind
- 9:13Speaker 1: by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall
- 9:18Speaker 1: on his face. Maybe you're even doing something to the
- 9:21Speaker 1: other situation to make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're
- 9:25Speaker 1: drinking a poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe
- 9:29Speaker 1: you ain't where you ought to be in life, not
- 9:31Speaker 1: because of your external forces, but maybe it's you. You know,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I had to catch myself. You know, I said a
- 9:39Speaker 1: thousand times. If you keep doing what you've been doing,
- 9:41Speaker 1: you're gonna keep getting what you've been getting. Maybe you
- 9:43Speaker 1: need to change your business practice. Maybe it's the way
- 9:46Speaker 1: you've been doing a certain thing. You just got to
- 9:49Speaker 1: let that go, because if you let it go, it
- 9:52Speaker 1: frees you up to a goal. It's hard to get
- 9:55Speaker 1: to the next level with all that baggage. To morning
- 10:00Speaker 1: show ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls, this is your
- 10:07Speaker 1: boy and nephew, Timmy. You have stepped into the Steve
- 10:10Speaker 1: Harvet morning Show. Uncle Steve is out, but the nephew
- 10:14Speaker 1: is in holding it down with two of my compadre.

- 10:20Speaker 1: best boys in radio. She is here is Charley Strong Battery. Hey, nephew,
- 10:25Speaker 1: what's stop? I want to do? What to do? Shirt?
- 10:27Speaker 1: I'm back up in here, Shirt, I'm back up in here.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I hear you, right back up in here? All right?

- 10:43Speaker 1: to Friday. I'm starting to do I'm you every Monday. Yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 1: I understand. I understand. You ain't got no private that no, no,
- 10:51Speaker 1: Why why should I this boy? Stupid? For you? Do
- 10:55Speaker 1: this one thing for me? Junior? I'm affected it, but
- 11:00Speaker 1: I've been doing so many more. I didn't perfect it it. Yeah,
- 11:03Speaker 1: he's getting requested. Hey, but listen. You know why your
- 11:08Speaker 1: uncle is out right? Uh he's celebrating something. Yeah he's
- 11:13Speaker 1: still celebrating his thirteenth wedding anniversary. Yeah, man, so he
- 11:18Speaker 1: can't because there's number thirteen exactly exactly, okay, man, exactly,
- 11:23Speaker 1: But you also know what this is? Oh yeah, what
- 11:26Speaker 1: is today? Do it like this now? Junior? Can you
- 11:32Speaker 1: get oh? Oh money, the don come my Michael jack
- 11:36Speaker 1: the doctor. I can't do. I don't know how Mike
- 11:40Speaker 1: do that. And my favorite, my favorite scheme out, No, no,
- 11:49Speaker 1: that ain't it, y'all. I'm gonna say it on the
- 11:51Speaker 1: side of Michael. I say it on the side man,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna say that on the side of Michael. I'm
- 11:56Speaker 1: gonna stay it on the side of my right there
- 12:00Speaker 1: saying that. They're saying, we tell you that all the time.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I think it's great the time you feed it a
- 12:05Speaker 1: because I think that's what they're saying. They say, if
- 12:09Speaker 1: we play it right now, you can't tell me. They're
- 12:11Speaker 1: not saying, I'm gonna say it on the side of
- 12:12Speaker 1: Mica house. Yeah, it's his house. And they were standing
- 12:16Speaker 1: on the side of it, and that's where it happened.
- 12:17Speaker 1: People was peaking around the corner. Yeah, speaking around the
- 12:20Speaker 1: corn they say, I'm gonna say it on the side
- 12:22Speaker 1: a micro house. But we are celebrating the death of
- 12:25Speaker 1: the legend, the one and only Michael Jackson, the King
- 12:28Speaker 1: of pop. Yeah, well, I mean the tenth anniversary, tenth
- 12:31Speaker 1: anniversary ten, Yeah, of the death of Michael Jackson. Now
- 12:34Speaker 1: his fans, Tommy are still are still mourning him. This
- 12:39Speaker 1: is a decade. As I mentioned. Uh, they say their
- 12:42Speaker 1: love for the star has not diminished by resurfaced allegations
- 12:46Speaker 1: of child sexual abuse. Jackson vehement lee denied all allegations,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and his estate has dismissed the leading Neverland film as
- 12:55Speaker 1: an attempt to cash in on the singer's legacy. Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: his dre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame still attracts
- 13:01Speaker 1: a steady stream maturists and Uh. On the eve of
- 13:05Speaker 1: the anniversary of his death, fans were lining up to
- 13:07Speaker 1: have their picture taken with it. So his fans are
- 13:11Speaker 1: his fans. Yeah, that's right. And he's still playing his
- 13:14Speaker 1: music worldwide. You knocked me off on my feet, Navy boy.
- 13:22Speaker 1: You can't tell you boy, that was my video. I
- 13:26Speaker 1: think Billy Jean was mine. I think Billy oh Man. Yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 1: you ain't bad, You ain't bad. All right, guys, coming
- 13:33Speaker 1: up at thirty two after the hour, we're gonna talk
- 13:35Speaker 1: about Oh my god, Tyler Perry's inspirational acceptance speech from
- 13:40Speaker 1: the beet Awards. It was so powerful. Right after this
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening to all right, guys, So this is trending
- 13:49Speaker 1: Sunday night at the Beet Awards, Great Awards Sunday night.
- 13:52Speaker 1: But yeah, Regina Hall did her thing. But let me
- 13:56Speaker 1: tell you this, miss beautiful outstanding. Taraji p Henson presented
- 14:02Speaker 1: Tyler Perry with the Ultimate Icon Award and it was
- 14:05Speaker 1: so fitting for him. In his acceptance speech he spokes
- 14:08Speaker 1: about he spoke about self sufficiency and ownership. And here's
- 14:12Speaker 1: what he had to say about the piece of land
- 14:14Speaker 1: where his massive Tyler Perry studios are located in Atlanta.
- 14:19Speaker 1: The studio was once a Confederate Army base and I
- 14:22Speaker 1: want you to hear this, which meant that there was
- 14:23Speaker 1: Confederate soldiers on that base plotting and planning out how
- 14:27Speaker 1: to keep three point nine million negroes enslaved. Now that
- 14:31Speaker 1: land is owned by one Negro. That's what I'm talking about. Yes, yeah, yes,
- 14:41Speaker 1: And Shirley, let me tell y'all something. I have been
- 14:44Speaker 1: on that land, you know, yapping man. I was fortunate
- 14:48Speaker 1: enough to be in the show um Boot, which is
- 14:50Speaker 1: a halloween he had and man to see all this property.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I had no idea that the history of it. But
- 14:57Speaker 1: let me tell you something, Tyler Many has a incredible
- 15:01Speaker 1: piece of property and it's doing everything film and television
- 15:05Speaker 1: and if you go over it and visit that, Remember Shirley,
- 15:07Speaker 1: we were invited to go out. Yeah, I remember exactly
- 15:13Speaker 1: building it. I was in media goes to jail, but
- 15:15Speaker 1: my part got cut out. But I still get my
- 15:19Speaker 1: residual checks. They're down to like twelve dollars. Now shut
- 15:25Speaker 1: you was in the jail? What was you in? They
- 15:27Speaker 1: came to the studio and filmed Steve and I okay,
- 15:32Speaker 1: well I was in I was in boot and man,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Tyler is Tyler is just remarkable. Man. Yeah, when you
- 15:37Speaker 1: watched Tyler at work and I've never I mean you
- 15:39Speaker 1: we see the finished product. When you actually get to
- 15:42Speaker 1: see Tyler at work, and I mean going this trailer,
- 15:46Speaker 1: put on this actual character, come out, do it, go
- 15:50Speaker 1: back in, then put another one on, come back out,
- 15:53Speaker 1: standing in this place that was next to the other character,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and you're like, oh my god. He goes back and
- 15:57Speaker 1: forth three or four times, and then at the end
- 16:00Speaker 1: of it, he's like, wow, I just saw him do
- 16:01Speaker 1: four people standing in the same circle talking to each other,
- 16:05Speaker 1: talking to himself Tommy at one time. That's why he
- 16:09Speaker 1: won the Ultimate Icon Award last night, and he deserves it. Yes,
- 16:15Speaker 1: he does, Yes, he does, and the speech was powerful.
- 16:19Speaker 1: He's still encouraging people, edifying them, uplifting them, loving them,
- 16:23Speaker 1: and and and employing them. You know, I loved what
- 16:28Speaker 1: people like Cecily Tyson and people like that were talking
- 16:31Speaker 1: about how he gives black women, you know, work in
- 16:34Speaker 1: this industry where they may not have gotten it before,
- 16:38Speaker 1: especially if you're older and you know, people may have
- 16:41Speaker 1: forgotten about you. He was like, we haven't forgotten you, right,
- 16:43Speaker 1: we haven't forgot. We still know exactly who you are
- 16:46Speaker 1: and you're still relevant today, right he um. He talked
- 16:50Speaker 1: about creating his own seat at the table, which essentially
- 16:54Speaker 1: is how he's able to give our black actors roles
- 16:57Speaker 1: and hit movies. Check out watch what Tyler. Check this out? Well,
- 17:01Speaker 1: everybody was fighting for a seat at the table, talking
- 17:03Speaker 1: about Oscar so white Oscar So when I say, y'all
- 17:05Speaker 1: go ahead and do that, But why are you fighting
- 17:06Speaker 1: for a seat at the table. I'll be down in
- 17:08Speaker 1: Atlanta building my own because because what I know for
- 17:14Speaker 1: sure is that if I could just build this table,
- 17:16Speaker 1: God would prepare it for me in the presence of
- 17:18Speaker 1: my enemies. You've better preach Tyler Perry. That was biblical
- 17:25Speaker 1: right there. Tyla has given a lot of people from
- 17:28Speaker 1: work Man one of them and glad to be one
- 17:31Speaker 1: of them. Thank you, miss the Tyler Perry. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 17:34Speaker 1: we need more like him, and that's what he's trying
- 17:37Speaker 1: to create with telling people to own, talking about ownership
- 17:40Speaker 1: and things like that. He's also partnered with beet that's
- 17:43Speaker 1: so exciting, b et Viacom to launch b ET Plus
- 17:47Speaker 1: this fall. He was really excited to tell the audience
- 17:50Speaker 1: about that. It's a streaming service that will showcase new
- 17:53Speaker 1: original shows and a giant library of popular black movies. Hello,
- 18:00Speaker 1: thank you, mister Tyler Perry. Yeah, time, I'm over here.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I'm sitting right here, right where you left me last time.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Come on, background guy, if you look over to his
- 18:11Speaker 1: should you see me? Yeah, me and Timmy sitting right
- 18:16Speaker 1: in tep. It's a sitcom waiting to have him Junior
- 18:20Speaker 1: and time. Come on, come on, we just do the sitcom.
- 18:23Speaker 1: But you know what he said, guys, you got to
- 18:25Speaker 1: come in an audition. You know. He said that we
- 18:28Speaker 1: remember when that lady put the billboard up, and he
- 18:30Speaker 1: got a little flat because of his reaction to that.
- 18:33Speaker 1: He was just simply telling her. That's not the way
- 18:35Speaker 1: to do it. He appreciated it. But you gotta go
- 18:38Speaker 1: in and audition. But the name of the show is
- 18:41Speaker 1: Junior and time. Why are we gonna audition to play ourselves.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm not audition to play I'm Timmy. We're gonna have
- 18:47Speaker 1: to man, that's what he said. That's what we're gonna
- 18:51Speaker 1: get the show right there. If time let's say so,
- 18:54Speaker 1: we're gone. Well that's what he said. Who's gonna beat
- 18:58Speaker 1: me being me? Though? If we don't get the roles?
- 19:00Speaker 1: We EPs? Wait, hold hold up? Did you hear what
- 19:04Speaker 1: he said? Who's going to beat him being him a junior?
- 19:07Speaker 1: If he's not beating you, he's a real close second.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, let me tell you something. If
- 19:14Speaker 1: you not gonna play you, then dog, you're the best
- 19:17Speaker 1: person for junior. Let me play you, you play me,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and we still keep the job for Hi to play you.
- 19:24Speaker 1: But he can do do you all day? Here? I
- 19:28Speaker 1: is what h It sounds just like Tyler Perry ste
- 19:34Speaker 1: pitch of Tiens in time. Come on now here, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: is here. You pryk Junior and Tommy starting Junior in
- 19:43Speaker 1: both roles. Man, I go back in the trailer, come back,
- 19:45Speaker 1: I asked me, many, Okay, let me see you do
- 19:50Speaker 1: the theater sade go ahead? Oh oh the term. Oh
- 19:54Speaker 1: this you dog. This is why I love you. The
- 19:55Speaker 1: boys in the hood. Where the boy I know why
- 19:59Speaker 1: you come by the queen. You got him down to
- 20:04Speaker 1: them by leaving in a violent world. Say either they
- 20:10Speaker 1: don't know, don't show. Okay, I was going over, Hey,
- 20:16Speaker 1: do you still got one? All right? Thank you junior

- 22:22Speaker 1: post to just putting mail in the mailboxes on the
- 22:25Speaker 1: street where everybody got their mailboxes. At what you say?

- 22:52Speaker 1: You're coming by there two three times, you know. But
- 22:55Speaker 1: what I'm understanding it ain't no mail being brought over there.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what are you doing at
- 23:00Speaker 1: my house? Now? What really? Then brought all this to

- 23:49Speaker 1: First of all, you can call you can call the
- 23:53Speaker 1: one A one hundred numbers, because how do you get
- 23:55Speaker 1: my number? That? Hey, I don't worry about that. I
- 23:57Speaker 1: find ways. It's how you you get my address that

- 26:47Speaker 1: tell me what you know? I recalled me. What is
- 26:49Speaker 1: you listening to me? Yeah? His nephew Timmy from the
- 26:53Speaker 1: Steve Harby Morning Show. You just got pranked by your
- 26:56Speaker 1: co worker. You you ain't this? Ain't this? My road
- 27:09Speaker 1: calls you all right, man, dude, I'm driving. Put on
- 27:13Speaker 1: to the side of the road. I'm hanging out the
- 27:17Speaker 1: trump I'm about to go crazy. I don't want my
- 27:19Speaker 1: way to your house right now? Hold on my way
- 27:22Speaker 1: to your house. I took God for work. Damn man.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, man, what
- 27:30Speaker 1: is what is the baddest radio show in the land?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Radio Show? No doubt all the way
- 27:41Speaker 1: doesn't much. That wasn't it? Oh? Man, Tommy, you don't
- 27:45Speaker 1: be nervous and nothing. You don't think nobody be looking
- 27:48Speaker 1: for you? Oh? I didn't have people run up on me,
- 27:50Speaker 1: Junior what can you run up on me? What didn't
- 27:53Speaker 1: that guy say that one time? Do you? Were you
- 27:56Speaker 1: in Starbucks or something when a guy came up on
- 27:58Speaker 1: the grocery store. You know, I remember that, Sly, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 1: but I thought you had another incident. But hurry up,
- 28:04Speaker 1: we're running out of time. But anyway, we was in
- 28:06Speaker 1: the grocery store and this and I'm at the Delhi
- 28:08Speaker 1: in the doosday. Hey, you tell me it really is stupid,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I said, held up, man, when when I got through
- 28:14Speaker 1: cussing this dude, I cleared the whole deli. I hadn't
- 28:17Speaker 1: lost it for about fifteen second, I mean completely lost
- 28:20Speaker 1: it for fifteen seconds. When I had Uncle Steve told me, hey, man,
- 28:23Speaker 1: you got your ass. Got to quit tripping, all right?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 28:31Speaker 1: some entertainment news and a national news update with miss
- 28:33Speaker 1: Anne Tripp. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 28:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. The word on the street is that Floyd
- 28:42Speaker 1: Mayweather's DJ J Bling was jumped Sunday night by Ti
- 28:47Speaker 1: and his entourage in La Apparently Jay Bling. Yeah, this
- 28:51Speaker 1: is crazy, right, Jay Bling was hanging out at a
- 28:53Speaker 1: restaurant in West Hollywood because you know, everyone was in
- 28:56Speaker 1: town for the Beet Experience and for the Beet Awards. Um. Anyway,
- 29:02Speaker 1: he was hanging out a restaurant in West Hollywood when
- 29:04Speaker 1: he was approached by TI and they had a brief conversation.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Then when Jay Bling went into the bathroom, five or
- 29:10Speaker 1: six men from TI's entourage followed him into the breastroom
- 29:15Speaker 1: and jumped him. Jay Bling was not seriously injured. He
- 29:18Speaker 1: walked away with a few scratches, but he did accuse
- 29:21Speaker 1: Tis entourage of stealing his five chains, each worth four
- 29:26Speaker 1: thousand dollars. Now, this could have stemmed from some crazy
- 29:29Speaker 1: comments Jay Bling, Yeah, that's twenty thousand's too much on
- 29:33Speaker 1: your neck, but go ahead. But I'm sure a TI
- 29:36Speaker 1: probably had in his wallet. They're right. Um. Anyway, Ti
- 29:41Speaker 1: TI's entourage, he accused him of stealing each of his
- 29:43Speaker 1: chains for four thousand dollars. This could have stemmed from
- 29:46Speaker 1: some crazy comments j Bling made back in February on
- 29:50Speaker 1: Instagram Live about how Tis wife Tani was his first
- 29:54Speaker 1: light skin crush back when she was a member of
- 29:56Speaker 1: the group Escape. That could have been what set t
- 30:00Speaker 1: off could have been. No, that ain't what it is.
- 30:05Speaker 1: What do you think it was. I'm gonna tell you
- 30:07Speaker 1: exactly what it is. When they saw when they saw
- 30:11Speaker 1: Jay Blaine, jay Blin had on them Gucca sneakers, and
- 30:15Speaker 1: that right down is the reason why he got his
- 30:18Speaker 1: hands with Tia told y'all, y'all, we're winning these Gucci
- 30:22Speaker 1: until we get through with this boycott. I told you
- 30:25Speaker 1: what I thought the boycott was over. I know an
- 30:31Speaker 1: announcement saying that he made no announcement. Okay, I have
- 30:35Speaker 1: left mine in my closet. You have to wait till
- 30:38Speaker 1: TI makes the announcement that we are no longer win Gucci.
- 30:41Speaker 1: But now Jay Bling think he can go to the
- 30:44Speaker 1: p T boards kick it. Afterwards had dinner with the
- 30:47Speaker 1: GGS only sneakers that it gets your ass what leader?
- 30:52Speaker 1: And we don't move until he says, I don't go
- 30:56Speaker 1: against nothing. I ain't never own noun. But the fact
- 31:01Speaker 1: I'm saying is I haven't gone against it. I have
- 31:05Speaker 1: actually walked in't even bore not good your shoes off
- 31:08Speaker 1: of this place because Jip told me we can't wear nuh.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I walked right on in there. I made a stop
- 31:14Speaker 1: for I went to dealings where I normally go walk
- 31:16Speaker 1: right in even Mark, get these shoes down here until
- 31:20Speaker 1: not wearing these. But I'll be back when it's over, though,
- 31:23Speaker 1: I hope, I hope Nike don't make it. Man, we
- 31:26Speaker 1: all man, if you boycat Nike ye man, Oh no,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a pride and I work out on Adidas.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Yea happened. I'm with I'm with time. He had them
- 31:40Speaker 1: gigs on his feet, GEZ on board and the watch
- 31:45Speaker 1: and his shirt and it probably one of them chains
- 31:47Speaker 1: had GGS on it and and they're not having that now.
- 31:52Speaker 1: See that's my dude, good brother. Man. He don't even
- 31:55Speaker 1: act like that unless you disrespect what he's said. Now.
- 31:57Speaker 1: He told us we well, yeah, so I had nothing
- 32:01Speaker 1: to do with this wife. Well tell you I took
- 32:03Speaker 1: some love. I took ggs off a baby. You hear me.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care for this. I don't care.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Ifee three the boy kind has existed right now. I
- 32:14Speaker 1: don't care if you three, we don't age. I know
- 32:20Speaker 1: a girl named gg that worked for Whendy Rocky Raps.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I don't even call her name. Yeah, we not say hey,
- 32:26Speaker 1: hey you hey you. I can't call you wow all right,
- 32:32Speaker 1: well listen, um, crazy, what happened? Funny, that's what happened.
- 32:37Speaker 1: All right, Well, listen, we're gonna go to some national
- 32:39Speaker 1: news with miss Anne. Okay, Tommy, let's go, ladies and gentlemen,
- 32:44Speaker 1: with National News. We have the one and only miss
- 32:47Speaker 1: Anne Trip. Thanks Tommy, Thanks everybody. Good morning, everybody. This
- 32:50Speaker 1: is a trip with the news in Washington. Nine to
- 32:53Speaker 1: eleven first responded schedule to meet personally today with the
- 32:56Speaker 1: leader of the US Senate with the aim of getting
- 32:58Speaker 1: full and permanent fun of their healthcare and disability package
- 33:02Speaker 1: or the victim's compensation fund. The group is to sit
- 33:04Speaker 1: down with Republican Mitch McConnell. That's the guy who said
- 33:07Speaker 1: just last week that he didn't understand why comedian and
- 33:10Speaker 1: activist John Stewart was quote so bent out of shape
- 33:13Speaker 1: over the situation. US Treasury Department says, get this, it's
- 33:16Speaker 1: conducting an investigation into the circumstances leading to the announced
- 33:20Speaker 1: delay in the production of the new twenty dollar bill
- 33:23Speaker 1: that was supposed to bear the likeness of Harriet Tubman.
- 33:26Speaker 1: In a letter to Senda Chuck Schumer, the Acting Inspector
- 33:29Speaker 1: General Richard Delmar says the probe is going to be
- 33:31Speaker 1: included in a larger examination of the Bureau of Engraving
- 33:34Speaker 1: and Printings management practices for projects already in the works.
- 33:38Speaker 1: In twenty sixteen, you may remember, the Treasury Department announced
- 33:41Speaker 1: that Andrew Jackson's picture on the twenty dollar bill was
- 33:43Speaker 1: going to be replaced by Harriet Tubmans for the year
- 33:46Speaker 1: twenty twenty, making Miss Tubman the first woman on the
- 33:49Speaker 1: US bill since Martha Washington and the first black person period. However,
- 33:53Speaker 1: last month, Donald Trump's Treasury Secretary, Steve Nuchein announced that
- 33:57Speaker 1: new bills would not be out until at least twenty
- 33:59Speaker 1: twenty eight, when way out of office. US just to
- 34:02Speaker 1: court judge in Maryland says new evidence paint say well
- 34:05Speaker 1: if he says a disturbing picture of the motive behind
- 34:07Speaker 1: the Trump administrations and sistance on asking everybody in the
- 34:11Speaker 1: country about their citizenship on the twenty twenty census. The
- 34:14Speaker 1: judge rule last week that there was enough evidence to
- 34:17Speaker 1: warrant the reopening of the case or the focus on
- 34:19Speaker 1: whether the citizenship question is actually a violation of minority rights.
- 34:23Speaker 1: The judge sites newly discovered emails apparently showing that the
- 34:27Speaker 1: question is intended to discriminate. President Trumps signed an executive
- 34:31Speaker 1: order aimed at increasing price trans parents transparency rather than healthcare.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Trump's calling on the Department of Health and Human Services
- 34:37Speaker 1: to develop rules allowing patients to see healthcare prices upfront.
- 34:41Speaker 1: With disorder, hospitals will be required to publish prices that
- 34:45Speaker 1: reflect what people actually pay for services. More price transparency
- 34:49Speaker 1: will mean more competition, and Trump insists that the competitions
- 34:53Speaker 1: means that the cost of healthcare will then go way, way,
- 34:55Speaker 1: way down by the way. The presidents signed executive order
- 34:58Speaker 1: imposing new sanctions on Iran as well as several specific Iranians.
- 35:02Speaker 1: The folks at Treasury say first they're going to go
- 35:04Speaker 1: after the Supreme Leaders Office and later the Foreign Minister.
- 35:07Speaker 1: The sanctions aimed at bring Iran to the negotiation table.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Secretary Steve Manushian says they're serious people who say these
- 35:14Speaker 1: are just symbolic. That's not the case at all. We've
- 35:16Speaker 1: literally locked up tens and tens of billions of dollars.
- 35:20Speaker 1: These sanctions will come along with additional entities where people
- 35:24Speaker 1: are hiding money. So no, these sanctions are highly effective
- 35:27Speaker 1: and finally, today is what it is what it is, right,
- 35:29Speaker 1: janis that's the way a lot of stuff goes. Now
- 35:33Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 35:36Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Well, it seems that zero is a
- 35:40Speaker 1: lucky number in North Carolina. North Carolina State Lottery had
- 35:44Speaker 1: two thousand winners this past Saturday night, and they all
- 35:47Speaker 1: picked the same numbers in the pick four game. Guess
- 35:50Speaker 1: what all two thousand winners pick. This is a crazy right,
- 35:55Speaker 1: It's another crazy story. Zero zero zero four, I mean
- 36:02Speaker 1: three or four? Poy zero zero zero zero zero zero
- 36:06Speaker 1: pick four? Yeah, pick folk, you can pick the same
- 36:08Speaker 1: I didn't know you can pick the same numb. Well,
- 36:11Speaker 1: a seven point eight million dollars jackpot was up for
- 36:14Speaker 1: grasps when the seemingly impossible number combination was drawn. One
- 36:19Speaker 1: thousand winning tickets that were purchased at one dollar will
- 36:22Speaker 1: pay five thousand dollars. The other one thousand tickets were
- 36:26Speaker 1: sold for fifty cents. They'll pay twenty five hundred dollars.
- 36:29Speaker 1: That ain't bad for fifty six that's crazy, But I
- 36:32Speaker 1: love this story. You know how man that'd be? I
- 36:33Speaker 1: had zero zero zero zero and then nineteen other people
- 36:40Speaker 1: pick the same Yeah, that's set made me you thought
- 36:43Speaker 1: that's yours. Yeah, then everybody comes in with the same
- 36:46Speaker 1: exact number. That's when you won. When everybody comes get
- 36:49Speaker 1: you want to line them up and slap everybody. Damn
- 36:51Speaker 1: pick another day, pick your own, what your birthday day? Well,
- 36:54Speaker 1: then when you guys pick numbers, do you do you
- 36:57Speaker 1: um pick? Do you play just one dollar? Or do
- 36:59Speaker 1: you buy more than one dollars? And I used to
- 37:01Speaker 1: do like ten, but I do quickness. I see My
- 37:05Speaker 1: problem is I do like one hundred dollars at one time. Really,
- 37:08Speaker 1: you know, in a whole bunch of quick picks, y'all
- 37:10Speaker 1: will append on how much it is shirty if it's
- 37:11Speaker 1: like a really big jackpot. Yeah, I do a couple
- 37:13Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Yeah, I don't think I've ever in life
- 37:18Speaker 1: spent over like five dollars. Well, shureley, let's just say
- 37:21Speaker 1: we talk about two hundred million that's owned a big
- 37:24Speaker 1: billboard you pads by going to work. You know, it's
- 37:27Speaker 1: like you can't spend a hundred when hundred dollars to
- 37:32Speaker 1: me if I'm gonna be so upset a bottoms, what
- 37:37Speaker 1: are we talking about? Yeah, but that's that's not that's
- 37:40Speaker 1: a different kind of gamble that has to do with
- 37:43Speaker 1: corns and bunions. Okay, I can't do you do, Shirty?
- 37:47Speaker 1: That's just do you do anything. It's nothing that Shirley
- 37:50Speaker 1: was shot to she dropped. That's it. Just shopping. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:54Speaker 1: I used to shop. I don't even shop as much
- 37:56Speaker 1: as I used to do. But I know you've been shopping, Shirley.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Oh no, how is it? We've been shopping up with
- 38:04Speaker 1: everyone on the show. We never went. Yeah, this is
- 38:07Speaker 1: an experienced boy. This is like a ride at the
- 38:12Speaker 1: amusement park. You don't understand. When she walks in, whether
- 38:15Speaker 1: it's Sacks or Niemans or norstrooms, whatever it is. As
- 38:19Speaker 1: soon as she walks in the door, people are saying, morning,
- 38:22Speaker 1: Miss Shirley. Everybody, Shirley, how you do Miss Shirley? We
- 38:26Speaker 1: got we got those shoes in, Miss Shirley, Miss Shirley.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I listen, it finally arrived. I'm talking. No matter where
- 38:33Speaker 1: you go, there are boxes that have arrived from overseas
- 38:37Speaker 1: for shirty. Huh. And you won't play a lotto I
- 38:43Speaker 1: told you I play it sometimes, like for five dollars.
- 38:47Speaker 1: But that's it all right? Coming up at thirty four
- 38:50Speaker 1: after the hour. I have a bizarre and tragic story
- 38:53Speaker 1: out of Houston. Wait till you guys hear this right
- 38:56Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Temmy Junior,
- 39:01Speaker 1: this is a story out of your hometown. Okay. A
- 39:04Speaker 1: twenty six year old Houston mother has been charged with
- 39:07Speaker 1: criminally negligent homicide after police say she ran over her
- 39:14Speaker 1: three year old son during a game of chicken. What what? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 39:19Speaker 1: this is so sad. I hate to even do this story.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Surveillance video from June eleventh shows Lexis Stagg backing up
- 39:27Speaker 1: her two thousand and six Lincoln Navigator as her three
- 39:30Speaker 1: children chased after it. She didn't switch. She then switched
- 39:34Speaker 1: gears and drove forward, striking her three year old son
- 39:38Speaker 1: and trapping him under the right front tire. Stagg then
- 39:43Speaker 1: continued to drive forward and ran over the child again
- 39:47Speaker 1: with the right with the back right tire. What is
- 39:51Speaker 1: what what? Houston police responded to the scene, and paramedics
- 39:58Speaker 1: took the boy to the hospital, where he was has
- 40:00Speaker 1: pronounced dead dead. Stag, who police said showed no signs
- 40:04Speaker 1: if vis a visible intoxication. She was arrested and will
- 40:08Speaker 1: face up to ten years in prison if she is convicted.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Her two other children have been placed with family members. Wow, wow,
- 40:16Speaker 1: what what? What? When? Years? Many more than when does
- 40:21Speaker 1: an adult play chicken in a car? What is three years? Is?
- 40:24Speaker 1: How do you play the game of chicken? I don't
- 40:26Speaker 1: want it. But if it involves a car and a
- 40:29Speaker 1: three year and a child, this don't sound like a
- 40:31Speaker 1: game you should be playing. And you have she has
- 40:34Speaker 1: three children. She just happened to run over the three
- 40:37Speaker 1: year old man. This is just ignorance. Yeah, that's all
- 40:41Speaker 1: this is. This is just playing ignorance. This is these
- 40:44Speaker 1: are there are certain people that don't need to be parents, Yeah,
- 40:47Speaker 1: that don't need to have children. Yeah, as a mother,
- 40:50Speaker 1: this hurt my hurts my heart, I'm sure as a
- 40:52Speaker 1: as a parent, and hurt hurs and all of the
- 40:54Speaker 1: parents in our listening audience. This right here. I mean,
- 40:57Speaker 1: whatever happened to simple games that were you to play
- 41:00Speaker 1: with our kids, like peekaboo that still works with small children.
- 41:04Speaker 1: A three year old is good with that. So you
- 41:07Speaker 1: going in reverse and you go forward, run over? You
- 41:12Speaker 1: don't understand this, I don't. She's twenty six years old,
- 41:16Speaker 1: so you should have some good common sense at this
- 41:18Speaker 1: point in life. You would hope, yes, but you have three.
- 41:23Speaker 1: But she switched gears though, yeah, and didn't run. Oh,
- 41:25Speaker 1: come on, I'm not understanding at all. You know what
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'm what do y'all think? You think ten years isn't No, no,
- 41:34Speaker 1: it's not. The punishment doesn't fit this crime. But I'm
- 41:38Speaker 1: sure how she feels inside is killing her. I'm sure
- 41:43Speaker 1: as a mother, I don't see that she would have
- 41:45Speaker 1: any remorse the fact that you out there playing this
- 41:48Speaker 1: game in the first place sense. I would just hope
- 41:50Speaker 1: as a mother who gave birth to this child, you
- 41:54Speaker 1: know that this has snapped her back into reality. You know, well, crime,
- 42:00Speaker 1: we're from Houston. I think judge on this guy. I
- 42:03Speaker 1: think the judge that did this should give her twenty
- 42:05Speaker 1: five to thirty years in the penitential. That's what I think. Wow,
- 42:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry, No, that makes sense. I got kids, nast thing.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I want something that's something that happened to my kids.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I think about that every day. So the last thing
- 42:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna do is be the person inflicting the pain
- 42:19Speaker 1: on my child. That don't make sense. Yeah, but you
- 42:21Speaker 1: gotta think about she has two other children. I'm sure
- 42:24Speaker 1: they'll miss her mom there with relatives now, so you know,
- 42:27Speaker 1: it says the um she could face up to ten years,
- 42:30Speaker 1: which makes me leads me to believe that this is
- 42:33Speaker 1: what this kind of crime carries, the punishment that this
- 42:36Speaker 1: crime carries. So, yeah, it's just a sad, sad, sad situation.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I want to be the whole I don't want to
- 42:42Speaker 1: be like to do five and then you get out. Yeah,
- 42:45Speaker 1: he do the whole good behavior than do the whole teen. Yeah,
- 42:49Speaker 1: this is this is really bad. Possibly they've been doing
- 42:55Speaker 1: because you said they would. She was in the car,
- 42:57Speaker 1: she going in reverse. Yeah, what what what is that about? Yeah,
- 43:03Speaker 1: the surveillance video shows her backing up as her three
- 43:07Speaker 1: children chased after it. Okay, stop and see what the
- 43:11Speaker 1: children want. Yeah, then she switched gears and drove forward.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Yeah that's the thing. You saw the kids running after
- 43:18Speaker 1: the car. So what are you switching gears for? I
- 43:21Speaker 1: just don't you telling me. Ain't no drugs involved in this, man, nothing,
- 43:25Speaker 1: nobody in the right frame of mind doing nothing like that,
- 43:28Speaker 1: Alice said, they showed she showed no signs of visible intoxication. None. Yeah, right,
- 43:37Speaker 1: chain game. Yeah, this is this is really bad? It
- 43:40Speaker 1: really is? First position, Yeah, it really is. All right.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Coming up next, we're gonna lighten the mood a bit
- 43:46Speaker 1: to the nephews in the building. The prank that's coming
- 43:50Speaker 1: up at forty three after the hour. Right after this
- 43:53Speaker 1: you're listening to coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:59Speaker 1: right about four, and it's after it's my strawberry letter
- 44:02Speaker 1: for today, the subject can you turn a garden tool
- 44:07Speaker 1: into a husband? And I'm not talking about a rake?
- 44:11Speaker 1: All right right now, it ain't no shovel. Tommy is
- 44:16Speaker 1: here with today's praying phone call. What's your gout for
- 44:18Speaker 1: his nas? Shirley Lisson? Right here is called condom cleaners, Oh,
- 44:26Speaker 1: lower time, condoms women cleaners. This, oh it's what you.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Thank you? Oh man, I'm about to sing you into something.
- 44:37Speaker 1: This right here, it's condom cleaners. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 44:44Speaker 1: to reach TAMKAA. This is Shane. How are you doing.
- 44:48Speaker 1: I'm I'm Brad from Quality Cleaners. I'm the manager over here.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Uh huh. Listen, Um, did you bring some clothes in
- 44:57Speaker 1: this morning? Oh? No, I didn't bring anything into you
- 45:00Speaker 1: this morning. Okay, Well listen, we got an order that
- 45:04Speaker 1: was dropped off this morning. Here. Uh, it's a couple
- 45:07Speaker 1: of suits, some business shirts and a few other things.
- 45:11Speaker 1: But there's actually been some articles actually left in the clothing.
- 45:14Speaker 1: So my husband that down. Okay, he droned on this morning.
- 45:20Speaker 1: It was dropped off like around seven this morning. But
- 45:23Speaker 1: we got it's got a let's work. It's like about
- 45:25Speaker 1: a hundred bucks cash in the pocket. There's a couple
- 45:28Speaker 1: of business cards. Uh, there's there's a cup link here.
- 45:31Speaker 1: I looked all over. It's only one cup link and
- 45:34Speaker 1: then there's two condoms in here. So I wanted to
- 45:36Speaker 1: see if you guys wanted me to put this in
- 45:38Speaker 1: a plastic bag or something and have it have it?
- 45:43Speaker 1: Can you repeat what was left in there? Again? Well,
- 45:47Speaker 1: like I said, we got a it's like right out
- 45:49Speaker 1: of hundred maybe hundred five bucks of cash. Uh, there's
- 45:53Speaker 1: a business card from an insurance company. There's another business
- 45:57Speaker 1: card for um, uh what it is? This is? Uh?
- 46:02Speaker 1: What else was left? Right? Bro, I'm trying to tell
- 46:04Speaker 1: you about all the business cards. I don't I'm not
- 46:07Speaker 1: interested in the business card because you said something else. Okay, No,
- 46:09Speaker 1: there's a couple link that we can't we can't find
- 46:12Speaker 1: the other cup link if it's here. We're looking all
- 46:15Speaker 1: over the bag to see if we can find it,
- 46:16Speaker 1: but we don't see that either. What else is in
- 46:19Speaker 1: this pocket? Uh? Like I said, you got you got
- 46:21Speaker 1: one hundred dollars in here? There's some No, no, no, no,
- 46:25Speaker 1: you have said something to me. Yes, there's business cards.
- 46:30Speaker 1: There's an insurance card, business cards. You said something else?
- 46:34Speaker 1: A couple link, man, there's a coup link in here
- 46:37Speaker 1: that we can else. Oh, okay, what the last? There's
- 46:43Speaker 1: two condoms in here? Hello? What did did you say?
- 46:47Speaker 1: Like I said, there's one hundred dollars in here? No business?
- 46:50Speaker 1: Did you say? Did you say there was some condoms
- 46:53Speaker 1: in there? There's two? There's two extra large condoms in here. Hello,
- 47:00Speaker 1: I'm here. I'm just trying to dodge this out of
- 47:03Speaker 1: stuff that you had just said that that was in
- 47:06Speaker 1: my husband's pocket. Now you sure that this is my husband, Chris? Chris? Uh?
- 47:13Speaker 1: Well it has I mean maybe you know the idols man,
- 47:17Speaker 1: this is there's a there's a gray suit. There's also
- 47:20Speaker 1: a solid blue suit. That's that sounds from that sounds familiar,
- 47:24Speaker 1: But I'm not understanding that some condoms the phone numbers,
- 47:30Speaker 1: the phone number that I called the numbers that attached
- 47:33Speaker 1: to this actual order. So I mean, this is the
- 47:37Speaker 1: number we have on file? Is this? Is this his number?
- 47:39Speaker 1: Or your own number? Or was your sale? What a number?
- 47:42Speaker 1: Is this? This is our house number? I just don't
- 47:46Speaker 1: believe you know what what you're telling me, because we
- 47:49Speaker 1: just celebrated our our anniversary last week? Is this is? What? What? What? What? What?
- 47:56Speaker 1: I mean? What's what's wrong? Man? What's wrong? What's about?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Were married and we never use condoms? And then you
- 48:03Speaker 1: look that called of me talking about he got condoms
- 48:06Speaker 1: left in his soup coat pocket. I'm not understand, Okay,
- 48:10Speaker 1: Oh I know he ain't cheating on me. Well not not,
- 48:13Speaker 1: I mean not necessarily. I mean you know they could
- 48:16Speaker 1: have been there. Why why he we have hands in
- 48:19Speaker 1: his pocket? I just don't make any damn sense. If
- 48:22Speaker 1: we married and we don't use condoms, don't want to
- 48:25Speaker 1: what do you have kindles in his pocket? Oh? I
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't know. Man. You'd have to talk to Chris about
- 48:29Speaker 1: that one. Now. I guess my main reason is it
- 48:32Speaker 1: you want me to wait a minute. I wanted to
- 48:35Speaker 1: know did you did you clean anything here? Did you
- 48:37Speaker 1: clean the soup? No? We haven't cleaned it. I just
- 48:40Speaker 1: I just start sorting stuffing on. In't want you. I
- 48:43Speaker 1: don't want you to clean them things and all those
- 48:46Speaker 1: articles that that you said, I want you to put it.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I want you to I want you to put everything,
- 48:52Speaker 1: include them damn condos. I want you to put it
- 48:54Speaker 1: in the bag. I want you to put it in
- 48:56Speaker 1: the bag. Don't clean nothing, because I'm gonna come up
- 49:00Speaker 1: there and I'm gonna pick everything up. Okay, I mean
- 49:03Speaker 1: I'll be here all day. Like I said, my name
- 49:05Speaker 1: is Brad, and I'll be here if you want me
- 49:07Speaker 1: to um. If you want me to put him to
- 49:09Speaker 1: the side, I won't clean them. I'll just put him
- 49:12Speaker 1: to the side and I leave him in the same
- 49:13Speaker 1: laundry bag. Yet when you dropped them all, don't Chris,
- 49:16Speaker 1: I don't believe that I didn't gave this imna good
- 49:19Speaker 1: years of my life and he gonna turn around cheat
- 49:21Speaker 1: on me. You make sure you don't clean up, because
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it. Side on that my damn self.
- 49:27Speaker 1: You put all that in the bag. I'm gonna call
- 49:29Speaker 1: my job and let him no, I'm not coming in today.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Slow down. I don't want you to get to get
- 49:36Speaker 1: to hysterical. I mean, you know you're getting a little
- 49:37Speaker 1: I radar you. Okay, I'm I'm I'm gonna be all right.
- 49:42Speaker 1: I am gonna to be all right when I get
- 49:44Speaker 1: up there. Who Chris is gonna get? That's all I
- 49:48Speaker 1: got to say. You make sure you have all that
- 49:50Speaker 1: stuff not clean. I don't want you to clean it.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I want you to put all that other that you
- 49:55Speaker 1: said that you found in the pocket. You put all
- 49:57Speaker 1: that in the bag because Chris is I don't know
- 50:00Speaker 1: who you think. Okay, Mistermika, would you like for me
- 50:04Speaker 1: to call Chris. I don't want you no, no, no, no, Bobby,
- 50:09Speaker 1: I don't want you to know no. Man, wait, minut,
- 50:12Speaker 1: wait wait wait, my name's Brad. I'm Brad. I don't
- 50:15Speaker 1: give a damn what your name is. So I really
- 50:17Speaker 1: don't okay, because Chris is gonna get up. You just
- 50:21Speaker 1: put everything in the backside like I had asked you to.
- 50:24Speaker 1: I am all my way down there, and Chris, no,
- 50:28Speaker 1: this ain't going down this way. We've just renewed our
- 50:30Speaker 1: vows and man's that don't condoms coming three and you
- 50:34Speaker 1: know what they're talking about this too. That's what I'm
- 50:37Speaker 1: not understanding. I know how to do my mas. Okay,
- 50:41Speaker 1: Chris is gonna get when you get them home tonight.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Here's here's something else in the pocket too. There's a
- 50:47Speaker 1: note in here. I no, what does it say? Okay, man,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I you know what? This has gotten way way out
- 50:52Speaker 1: of hand. I don't want to and you need to
- 50:55Speaker 1: quick tell many pocket? What do you make that to me?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Not a fact? I want that in the bad too.
- 51:02Speaker 1: The more evidence I have, the better off is gonna
- 51:05Speaker 1: be from me. What did the note say? The note says,
- 51:10Speaker 1: this is nephew Tommy from the Steve Horbon Morning Show.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Your husband Chris got me to play phone called shoe.
- 51:18Speaker 1: What God, Chris was going to die tonight? I was
- 51:27Speaker 1: we was gonna have a barbecue in his honor. Do

- 54:19Speaker 1: That's what it is. Yeah, that's what it says. Just
- 54:22Speaker 1: say that's what I'm saying. Wow, all right, dear Steven,
- 54:26Speaker 1: I don't I don't like saying that. What's wrong? That's
- 54:30Speaker 1: what they wrote on a letter. You didn't say it
- 54:32Speaker 1: is right the end the subject, but I repeated it. Okay,
- 54:36Speaker 1: Well say it because a lot of people didn't hear you,
- 54:38Speaker 1: all right, Can you turn a garden tool into a husband?
- 54:41Speaker 1: That's not what they're saying. I like that much better.
- 54:44Speaker 1: Here we go, Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a thirty
- 54:46Speaker 1: three year old woman and I had a one night
- 54:48Speaker 1: stand with the twenty nine year old, very sexy Brazilian guy.
- 54:52Speaker 1: He gave me the best sex of my life, and
- 54:55Speaker 1: I never expected to hear from him again. But he
- 54:58Speaker 1: called me a few days after we hook up, and
- 55:00Speaker 1: now we've been dating for nine months. Not long after
- 55:04Speaker 1: we started dating. Whenever we went out to our favorite
- 55:08Speaker 1: club together, I would notice that a lot of older
- 55:11Speaker 1: women approached him, and they would often ask him to
- 55:14Speaker 1: dance or send him a drink over to our table.
- 55:16Speaker 1: This made me very uncomfortable at first, but he told
- 55:19Speaker 1: me that he used to be a trainer and they
- 55:21Speaker 1: were all members of the gym. That being said, I
- 55:25Speaker 1: know I should always trust my intuition, because it turns
- 55:29Speaker 1: out he was lying. He had come clean eventually because
- 55:33Speaker 1: his phone. He had to come clean because his phone
- 55:35Speaker 1: was ringing day and night and I couldn't take it.
- 55:38Speaker 1: He told me that he used to be a male
- 55:40Speaker 1: escort for single, rich, older women, and he made a
- 55:43Speaker 1: very good living doing it. He was on some kind
- 55:46Speaker 1: of dating app and he admitted that he had sex
- 55:50Speaker 1: with most of the women that he dealt with, which
- 55:52Speaker 1: was close to one hundred women over the course of
- 55:54Speaker 1: three years. He says he hated it, but it was
- 55:57Speaker 1: great money. He says, that's in the past, asked, and
- 56:00Speaker 1: he wants to move towards me. I'm having trouble seeing
- 56:03Speaker 1: a future with a man that's had bat many women
- 56:06Speaker 1: and is so recognizable when we're out together. He said.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I should be glad that he had so much sexual practice,
- 56:12Speaker 1: since I love the way he pleases me, and I
- 56:15Speaker 1: do love it, but is he husband material? I don't
- 56:18Speaker 1: know if I should let this man go or try
- 56:20Speaker 1: to take it to the next level with him. What
- 56:22Speaker 1: do you think can you turn a garden tool into
- 56:25Speaker 1: a husband? Well, well, well, aren't you the one who's
- 56:30Speaker 1: calling the kettle black here? Okay, you're judging him, but
- 56:33Speaker 1: you started off the letter with you had a one
- 56:35Speaker 1: night stand with a very sexy Brazilian guy. Okay, so
- 56:40Speaker 1: the problem isn't that the one night stand. The problem
- 56:43Speaker 1: is he has so many women. That's the issue. You
- 56:46Speaker 1: think he's a garden tool. That's what you're saying. What
- 56:49Speaker 1: is he to think of you when you had a
- 56:51Speaker 1: one night stand with him? Okay? And you know what
- 56:55Speaker 1: it really is all about what you can deal with? Okay,
- 56:58Speaker 1: and you've been dealing with him for nine months you have.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I mean, you say you love the way You didn't
- 57:04Speaker 1: say you loved him, You said you love the way
- 57:06Speaker 1: he loves you. And you're considering him being a husband
- 57:10Speaker 1: or a marriage Have you guys talked about marriage? He has?
- 57:13Speaker 1: He talked about that with you, because usually that's a
- 57:17Speaker 1: conversation you have together. It's also about does his actions
- 57:21Speaker 1: match his words? Does he do what he says he's
- 57:24Speaker 1: going to do. If his actions don't match his words,
- 57:27Speaker 1: then let the loser go. If he's changed and his
- 57:30Speaker 1: actions do match his words, well it'll take time. But
- 57:33Speaker 1: you know, if you do love him or fall in
- 57:35Speaker 1: love with him, and you love the way he pleases
- 57:38Speaker 1: you and and all of that, hey, you can give
- 57:41Speaker 1: him a chance. You had a one night stand with him,
- 57:44Speaker 1: So again, who are you to judge? People can change,
- 57:47Speaker 1: and we say this all the time on this show.
- 57:49Speaker 1: They will definitely change for the right person. The question
- 57:52Speaker 1: now becomes are you the right person for him? And
- 57:55Speaker 1: is he the right person for you? You guys have
- 57:57Speaker 1: been together for nine years, surely you know a little
- 58:00Speaker 1: bit about each other. You've gone through your your your
- 58:05Speaker 1: ninety day probation period and all of that. So you know,
- 58:08Speaker 1: if you guys are growing closer together, discuss these things.
- 58:12Speaker 1: If he's changed, he just might be husband material, all right?
- 58:16Speaker 1: So uh a number and one night stands, Junior. You
- 58:21Speaker 1: know what, Shirley, I'm gonna actually agree with Shirley up
- 58:24Speaker 1: to a point. But the problem I think she's happen
- 58:26Speaker 1: She don't understand Timmy, and I think that you can
- 58:29Speaker 1: understand better than Shirley would come on the same level.
- 58:33Speaker 1: She's dealing with a sexual celebrity and can't handle it.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Like that he a sexual celebrity, you can't handle it.
- 58:41Speaker 1: The problem of you is caught up in the hundred
- 58:43Speaker 1: women that keep coming up to him and saying, oh
- 58:46Speaker 1: my god, let me send you a drink. Now, you've
- 58:48Speaker 1: benefiting from the process too, because if you had the table,
- 58:51Speaker 1: they say to you a drake and him a drink,
- 58:53Speaker 1: what did you complaining for? It's a hundred women over
- 58:56Speaker 1: three years, that's not a lot. That's thirty three a years. Hey,
- 59:00Speaker 1: that's not a real hot number. Thirty three year. That's
- 59:02Speaker 1: what he's doing. He a sexual celebrity. You can't be mad.
- 59:07Speaker 1: It's like who you. I would have celebrited if somebody
- 59:10Speaker 1: comes say hi. You can't get mad because I'm famous
- 59:13Speaker 1: for something naked celebrity. You talk about a hundred women.
- 59:19Speaker 1: That's nothing compared to Will Chamberlain. Oh that ain't nothing
- 59:23Speaker 1: to you, half, No, that is nothing to super Fly.
- 59:27Speaker 1: The mad that is nobody. It's just a hundred. Get
- 59:30Speaker 1: out the weight of yourself him and go. You won. Yeah,
- 59:37Speaker 1: you're the woman sitting at the table hello, not a
- 59:40Speaker 1: sexual celebrity and shows you you can't handle it. I
- 59:42Speaker 1: hate to give him somebody else. I hate to say
- 59:44Speaker 1: it because you're complaining too much. Now you've been with
- 59:47Speaker 1: him nine months. He told you, Okay, cool, this is
- 59:49Speaker 1: what it is. I want you. You are this, this
- 59:53Speaker 1: is it, So let's quit tripping, all right. Listen, listen, listen.

- 1:00:08Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to show. All right, guys, let's
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: recap today Strawberry letter subject can you turn a garden
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: tool into a husband? This thirty three year old woman
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: wrote in she had a one night stand with a
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: twenty nine year old, very sexy Brazilian guy. She said
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: he gave her the best sex of her life and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: she never expected to hear from him again, but he
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: did call her a few days later after they hooked up.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: And now they've been dating. They're in a relationship. They've
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: been dating for nine months, all right. So after they
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: started dating, she said a lot of older women would
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: approach him often ask him to dance or send him
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: a drink to the table, things like that, and she
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: said it was uncomfortable for her at first. But he
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: told her that he used to be a trainer. So
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: you know, she's a little upset. Suppose that he lied
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: to her he used to be a trainer and they
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: were all members of the gym. Okay the jim, you
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: guys have to use that one. But anyway, she said
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: that she she should always trust her to intuition, and
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: it turns out he was lying. He had come clean eventually,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: and see that's another thing. This man came clean. He
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: told you the truth. He said he used to be
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: an escort and he escorted older, rich women. That's what
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: he did for a living. He said he didn't like it. Now,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: that part I don't believe. But he said he made
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a very different from rich old broken. Yeah, he made
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: a very good living at at it. So you know
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: you're upset because all these women are seemed to be
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: after him. But he's only with you. He's with you, okay?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: And how did he meet you? I keep bringing that up?
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: All right, nephew, let's go. She wants to know. Can
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you turn she's calling him a garden tool? Can you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: turn him into a husband? Is he husband material? I

- 1:09:16Speaker 1: have a little belt on me, have my little water
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: on each side, you know what I'm saying, in case
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I get hot in time. But I'm coming out naked
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: and ready to ride with the rest of the crew
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: because we we this, this means something. I'm standing for something. Okay,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: ride naked with Tommy next year. Okay, all right. Coming
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: up in the top of the hour, Mary J. Blige
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: is trending for doing her own tribute during the BET Awards.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I said it yesterday, I say it again. She was great.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Oh I loved it. We're gonna talk about it right
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to morning show, all right, listen
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: to this guy's Normally, when bat does awards shows, they'll

- 1:10:01Speaker 1: at the end and they'll they'll sing some of their
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: own songs. That's usually how it's done by the honoree. Well,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: forget about that, because Sunday Night. It was all about
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: the queen of hip hop and R and B one
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: and only Miss Mary J. Blige. So who better to
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: do a tribute to Mary then Mary? Come. I don't
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: see nobody else who gonna do better than time girl.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: I love when she dances, Go Mary, I love it.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I love it. So um she did? Did her butt
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: cheek fall out? Why she was dancing? Well? Yeah, I
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: mean yeah, her chicks work spose. She had on some
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: really really short, short short stuff. She had on some
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: booty cutters she did. I mean, look good, come out. Yeah,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: that's gonna come out like that. That was meant to be. Yeah,

- 1:11:36Speaker 1: they're doing? Boy? Who hands it out to booty, but
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I love this. When Mary received her her award, in
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: her acceptance speech, she said this. She said, she referred
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: to herself. I loved it as a leader, as a
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: queen and as a living legend. And who could disagree
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: with that? Who can disagree with that? I'm not true?
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: And she took the mic, improved it baby, yes yeah,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: granbed mic and gave it to her and then dropped
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: that water right over there. And then right when she
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: was dancing and she hit that left step and a
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: booty cheeko. I was like, look at that, Mary, Duke Camen,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Mary going through something we all go through, suf when
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: you go on to the next halme if you need
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: a booty boy, I'm here man. It's I mean, I
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: love her thy high boots and doing her dance, doing
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: her Everybody in the audience go Mary. Yeah. Yeah, that
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: was a moment for me. I was really I loved it.

- 1:12:56Speaker 1: because we had Tyler's house. This is the ball, oh yeah.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: And then Tyl said, you know, when I promise y'all,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I was going to have some type of entertainment, So
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I tried to put a little something together. Out from
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: behind this curtain becomes Mary J. Blie. Oh my god,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: and rocked this party for how I say, Now, that's
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: how you throw upon Yes. Mary J. Blige's baby boots
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: on it all. Let's giddy. She's phenomenal. Also, we do
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: want to think we want to acknowledge Nipsey Hustle's family
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: for accepting his Humanitarian Award at the BET Awards on Sunday.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: He was honored posthumously for his work as a community
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: activist and entrepreneur in his Crenshaw community in Lay. His mother,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Angelique Smith, talked about learning of Nipsey's death and the
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: spirituality of it all. She's a very very spiritual and
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: deep woman. While his father thanked Beet. Nipsey's dad said,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I wish my son could be here, Thank you, Beet.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: He wanted to be here so badly and last year
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: he made it to perform here, and we were so
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: happy for him, and he recognized him and we appreciate
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: eight that um Marcia Ambrosius, Rapper, Yg, DJ Khalid and
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: John Legend of course performed a musical musical tribute Pinnessey
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Hustle and his grandmother spoke. Yeah, she spoke beautifully, she did.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: I'd like to see a story on this guy like
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: I can see in a movie. I would think it
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: would be in the works in the movie. There's definitely
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: worth making. There's definitely worth yeah. Yeah, coming up more
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: the hour, right after this. You're listening to show. All right,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: So guys, if you think Drake was the only one
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: that was happy about the Toronto Raptors winning the championship
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: the NBA title, well think again, because Drake's dad, d
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: was overjoyed all because he had one hundred thousand dollars
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: writing on the Raptors. I'll say it again now, talk
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: about Betty one hundred thousand dollars on the Raptors. Okay,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Drake's Dad's name, of course is Dennis Graham, and he
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: was spotted in Hollywood by TMZ. This was a few
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: days after the championship and he said, uh, Dennis had
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: two ladies on each arm. And he told the paparazzi,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I am the happiest guy in the world. I bet
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars on the game and I won
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: three hundred thousand dollars. Yawn. Wait wait wait, I'm not finished.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I'm not finished. There is more, all right. Drake's dad, Dennis,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: also had some advice for the championship team. He advised
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: the Raptors to us skipped going to the White House
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: to meet Donald Trump and instead go meet the Canadian
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Prime minister. All right, Justin Trudeau, He said, Justin Trudeau
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: is a much classier guy than that idiot Donald Trump.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Right from Dennis. I don't even know Dennis, but I
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: like Dannis. Go ahead, Dannis. He dresses, Oh boy does
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: he dress? Oh yeah? Yeah. And and neither one of
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: them were Tiffany Hatish, because you know he's in love
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: with Tiffany. Hah. Yeah, that is his dream Yeah, that's
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: his dream girl. All right, We'll be back with more
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this commed date.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: so this is trending Sunday night at the Beet Awards,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Great Awards Sunday Night. Yeah, Regina Hall did her thing.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: But let me tell you this, miss beautiful outstanding. Taraji
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: p Henson presented Tyler Perry with the Ultimate Icon Award,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: and it was so fitting for him. In his acceptance
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: speech he spokes about he spoke about self sufficiency and ownership.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: And here's what he had to say about the piece
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: of land where his massive Tyler Perry studios are located
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: in Atlanta. The studio was once a Confederate Army base
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: and I want you to hear this, which meant that
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: there was Confederate soldiers on that base plotting and planning
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: on how to keep three point nine million nigroes enslaved.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Now that land is owned by one Negro. That's what
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Yeah, yes, and Shirley Julia, let me
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: tell y'all something I have been on that land. You know.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I was fortunate enough to be in the show um Boot,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: which is the Halloween film that he had and man
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: to see all this property. I had no idea that
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: the history of it. But let me tell you something.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Tyler Man. Tyler has a incredible piece of property and
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: doing everything for film and television. Tyler is just remarkable. Man.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: When you watch Tyler at work and I've never I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: mean you we see the finished product, when you actually
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: get to see Tyler at work, and I mean going
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: this trailer, put on this actual character, come out, do it,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: go back in there, put another one on, come back
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: out standing this place that was next to the other character,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: and you're like, oh my god. He goes back and
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: forth three or four times, and then at the end
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: of it, he's like, wow, I just saw him do
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: four people standing in the same circle talking to each other,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: talking to himself Tommy at one time. That's why he
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: won the Ultimate Icon Award last night, and he deserves it.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Yes he does, Yes he does. And the speech was powerful.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: He's still encouraging people, edifying them, uplifting them, loving them
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: and and and employing them. You know, I loved what
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: people like Cecily Tyson and people like that were talking
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: about how he gives black women, you know, work in
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: this industry where they may not have gotten it before,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: especially if you're older and you know, people may have
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: forgotten about you. He was like, we haven't forgotten you, right,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: we haven't. We still know exactly who you are and
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: you're still relevant today, right he um. He talked about
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: creating his own seat at the table, which essentially is
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: how he's able to give our black actors roles and
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: hit movies. Check out watch what Tyler said, check the out. Well,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: everybody was fighting for a seat at the table talking
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: about Oscar so White. Oscar so White. I said, y'all
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: go ahead and do that. But while you fighting for
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: a seat at the table, I'll be down in Atlanta
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: building my own because because what I know for sure
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: is that if I could just build this table, God
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: would prepare it for me in the presence of my enemies.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: You better preach, Tyler Perry. That was biblical right there.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: All right, when we come back, we'll have our last
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: break of the day, and Steve's not here today. Steve
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: left us with some closing remarks. We'll hear those right
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: after this at forty nine after you're listening to morning show.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: All right, Steve, last break of the day, please leave
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: us with some closing remarks. Well, I got some to
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: end your day. To start your day, this is to
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: help you make ready for your blessings. Now, what I'm
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: gonna give you is gonna be hard for most people
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: to do. I already know that it was difficult quote
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: for me to do. But a very very wealthy person
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: taught this to me, and I didn't think much of
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: it until I did it, and boil, boil, boy, did
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: it help make room for what God had for me?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Not only that it freed me up. And I'll tell
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you what this very very successful people person told me.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: If I told you his name, you probably wouldn't know him.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: He's not famous. He's just extremely wealthy. And when I
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: tell you extremely wealthy, I mean it. But he taught
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: this to me. He said, in your journey, if you
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: want to really clear the slate, get a fresh start,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: and prepare yourself to receive what all God has for you,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: you have to take inventory of the people in your life.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: And when you take this inventory, you are going to
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: have to act as though you are gardener. You are
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: a gardener with the grove, and your grove is your life.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: The things you want to bear fruit from God your trees.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: You want apples this season, you want lemons, you want grapefruits,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you want peaches, you want pass plums. You've got to
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: take care of your orchid in order to take care
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: of your archid. I notice you've all noticed that from
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: time to time you see the gardeners outside pruning trees.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: They cutting them back, They're clipping dead ends off. You
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: know why, because that maximizes the growth of the good
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: in the tree. If you take the dead, unnecessary branches off,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: the withering ends, it allows for the tree to bear
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: more fruit. So, Steve, how do you take inventory? People?
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: This is what he taught me. He said, you have
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: three kinds of people in your life. He said, you
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: have people who are proch you with nothing but bad news.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: All of us know them. Everybody has somebody that walks
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: up to them and every time they start talking something wrong,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: or every time they give you a phone call, they
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: bring you bad news. And the bad news don't just
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: be about them, They bring you bad news about you.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: Did you hear that? There they were saying about you
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: down here, and you just go mad. Have you ever
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: had a person that every time they came up to you,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you just felt dark because they just bought bad news.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Those people that you have in your life, you don't
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: need them. I want you to put go through your
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: phone contacts and everybody that is no good, that never
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: moves your life forward, doesn't give you any helpful advice,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: doesn't help you aid you in any way, has nothing
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: but bad news and want something for you. One side
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: of friendships, I want you to put a dot next
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to that contact tacks name, a black dot. The next
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: person you have in your life are called sometimy people.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: They the fifty fifties in your life. They cool over
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: here as long as you're doing this, but they're not
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: cool over here. You can take them here, but you
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: can't take them there. You can discuss this, but you
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: can't bring up that. You can lead them that way,
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: but you can't show them the other way. Sometimes they
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: cool with you about stuff, sometimes they ain't. Those are
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: called sometimy people or what we're gonna call fifty fifty people.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Everybody got them in their life. When you have a
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: fifty fifty person, what I want you to do is
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: put an asterid by their name that contact put in asterid.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Remember all the bad news people that's always bringing you
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: bad news in darkness, a black dot next to their name.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: The next person is the fifty fifty person they sometimey
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: they cool, here they ain't cool. Then put an asterisk
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: by their name. The last person that you know are
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: people who are very supportive of you, people who are
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: willing to pray for you, people who always try to
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: be uplifting, people who when they got news for you,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: they try to make it of the positive nature. A
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: person who comes to your aid and your rescue. A
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: person that picks up the phone just to see how
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: you're doing, and you bet not mention that something's wrong,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: because here they come. It's people in your life, man,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: that you don't even have to talk when you're around them.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: You could just sit and be steal and y'all just
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: cool like that. Everybody got that ride or die that
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: I don't care what you tell them. They don't pass judgment.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: They just your friends. Well, when you have that person,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and I'm gonna be real honest with you, it ain't
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: a whole lot of them, I want you to put
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: a check by their name. So you got a black
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: dot next to the dark people who bring you none
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: but bad news, negativity, something wrong. Every time you got
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: an asterick by the name of the people who are
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: fifty fifty sometimey people and you got a check by
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: the people that's always supportive prayer for bringing you good news.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Now here's what you do. I want you to take
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: everybody with a black dot next to their name, and
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: everybody with an asterisk next to their name, and I
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: want you to block them as your contact, block them
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: out your phone, and block them from your email. If
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: the family, block them from your phone and block them
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: from your email. All I want you to have is
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: people who have your phone number, that have a check
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: by your name. You're gonna lose a lot of people,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: but guess what, you're gonna gain a lot of ground.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: You don't have no idea how much time you waste
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: with people in your life who are fifty fifty and
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: always got bad news. If you eliminate them, you've cleaned house,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: your inventories cleaned. You now have cleared room to receive
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: the blessings God have for you in this year. I
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: dare you to try it. It works. It sounds cruel,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: it sounds like it's hurtful, but man, if you want
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: to win, you gotta do it. Those are my closing remore.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: Drop it bab that no phone block. I'm gonna tell
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you something man got. That's a very real thing. Y'all.
