- 1:41Speaker 7: Go to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn mouth turn out, turn the
- 1:47Speaker 4: water the water up looking.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come out, you think, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, Come on digny now, one
- 2:09Speaker 8: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Here we
- 2:12Speaker 8: go today. I think I have something for a lot
- 2:16Speaker 8: of people today, at least I hope I do. And
- 2:19Speaker 8: this is about on your journey, And this is about
- 2:24Speaker 8: something that happens to us all. I mean, what happens
- 2:30Speaker 8: to all of us from time to time when we
- 2:32Speaker 8: get discouraged, What happens to all of us when we
- 2:37Speaker 8: feel like quitting, What happens to all of us when
- 2:41Speaker 8: we have that turnback moment, What happens to all of
- 2:45Speaker 8: us when it don't seem like it's going to pan out.
- 2:50Speaker 8: Because I want you to understand something that everyone, every
- 2:54Speaker 8: single living soul, has those thoughts about something at some
- 2:59Speaker 8: point in their life. I mean, you know, look, I've
- 3:03Speaker 8: oftentimes been discouraged about things not happening as fast as
- 3:09Speaker 8: I like them. All things don't pan out the way
- 3:13Speaker 8: I would like for them to have panned out. I mean,
- 3:16Speaker 8: it's so many ways to get discouraged. But but what
- 3:22Speaker 8: my encouragement to you is when discouragement comes is understand this.
- 3:31Speaker 8: It is a part of the growth process. It is
- 3:36Speaker 8: a test. It is a test of your faith. How
- 3:43Speaker 8: bad you want it, do you really believe? That's all
- 3:49Speaker 8: faith is is simply and I've said this how many times.
- 3:54Speaker 8: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 3:57Speaker 8: So when discouragement comes, setbacks comes, it is a test
- 4:02Speaker 8: of your faith. At least it's been that way for me.
- 4:05Speaker 8: Now other people can explain it another way. I'm not
- 4:08Speaker 8: other people. I can only give it to you the
- 4:10Speaker 8: way it has come to me and throughout my life,
- 4:13Speaker 8: and man O man oh Man. Discouragement sometimes it's tough
- 4:17Speaker 8: to deal with because it seems at times when you
- 4:23Speaker 8: were discouraged that it is so absolute that this means
- 4:29Speaker 8: the end, and if you allow it to set in,
- 4:34Speaker 8: it can be just that the end of you when
- 4:37Speaker 8: merely merely, it was a test, That's all it is.
- 4:42Speaker 8: But the majority of people that I know who are
- 4:45Speaker 8: not successful or who have told me the story of
- 4:49Speaker 8: how they gave up, it was because at a moment
- 4:53Speaker 8: of discouragement that they allowed it to set in and
- 4:58Speaker 8: it became so engulfing that it became the reason why
- 5:03Speaker 8: you shouldn't finish. And then they started justifying it with
- 5:06Speaker 8: hitt one that I hate to hear. Well, if it's
- 5:09Speaker 8: God's will, excuse me. If it's God's will that you fail.
- 5:16Speaker 8: If it's God's will that you're not successful. If it's
- 5:22Speaker 8: God's will that you lay down and give up, it's
- 5:25Speaker 8: God's will that you allow yourself to amount to, not
- 5:30Speaker 8: to not reach your potential. That's God's will. That's not
- 5:35Speaker 8: the God I know. That's not the God I served.
- 5:39Speaker 8: That's not the God I've read about. That's not the
- 5:42Speaker 8: God I believe in. I'm sorry. I just my mother
- 5:45Speaker 8: always taught me something that he didn't bring me this
- 5:48Speaker 8: far to leave me. I just don't believe that, not
- 5:53Speaker 8: for a second. Now have I convinced myself for some things, Yep?
- 6:00Speaker 8: Have I allowed the devil to come into the picture
- 6:02Speaker 8: and paint a different one from it. Yep, yep, I've
- 6:05Speaker 8: done all of that, But you can't blame that on God. Now,
- 6:09Speaker 8: come on, So when discouragement comes, try to look at
- 6:17Speaker 8: it if you can, as a test of your faith,
- 6:21Speaker 8: and you merely have to pass the test. It could
- 6:25Speaker 8: be for a day, a half a day, a few hours,
- 6:27Speaker 8: a week, a few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody
- 6:31Speaker 8: know how long the test period is. Your job is
- 6:34Speaker 8: to keep the faith and keep moving. Keep the faith
- 6:38Speaker 8: and keep moving, keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive.
- 6:44Speaker 8: That's your job. If you do that, that's how you
- 6:48Speaker 8: pass the test. It could be over tomorrow, it could
- 6:51Speaker 8: be over in two weeks, it could be over in
- 6:53Speaker 8: a month.
- 6:53Speaker 2: You don't know. But all you got to do is
- 6:56Speaker 2: wake up and keep the faith and fight the discouraging feeling.
- 7:00Speaker 2: And how do you do that? Steve? Now here we go.
- 7:03Speaker 8: This is the part I know about for show because
- 7:06Speaker 8: how many times I've had to fight off discouragement in
- 7:10Speaker 8: order to get to where God wanted me to be.
- 7:13Speaker 8: What do you do when you become discouraged? Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 8: think of the outcome when I get discouraged about a task.
- 7:23Speaker 8: I think about the outcome, Man, what would it be
- 7:26Speaker 8: like if I were to complete the task?
- 7:29Speaker 2: What would it be like? Man?
- 7:31Speaker 8: What would the outcome be for me if I hung
- 7:34Speaker 8: long in there, if I didn't give up, If I imagine,
- 7:40Speaker 8: I imagine, if I don't quit, I imagine if I
- 7:43Speaker 8: don't give up, what would it be like?
- 7:47Speaker 5: Man?
- 7:48Speaker 8: Suppose everything I'm hoping for comes true. But if I
- 7:52Speaker 8: don't quit and give up, that might just be the case.
- 7:55Speaker 8: I start talking to myself like that, I think, think
- 8:00Speaker 8: of what the upside is? What's the upside to stay
- 8:04Speaker 8: in with it? You see, all this is the same thing.
- 8:07Speaker 8: I'm just giving you different ways to look at it.
- 8:09Speaker 8: I'm saying the exact same thing over and over. But
- 8:11Speaker 8: I'm just trying to find the switch that connects in
- 8:14Speaker 8: your mind where you can say, Okay, man, I'm gonna
- 8:17Speaker 8: hang in there. Because if you think of the outcome
- 8:21Speaker 8: and the outcome is appealing to you, if you imagine
- 8:24Speaker 8: what it would be like if you don't give up
- 8:26Speaker 8: or you don't quit, if you think only of what
- 8:30Speaker 8: the upside is to stay in with it, and then
- 8:35Speaker 8: I go, where can this lead to? If I stay
- 8:39Speaker 8: with it? Man, and the outcome comes true? What else
- 8:42Speaker 8: could that lead me to? Because I mean, there's always
- 8:46Speaker 8: more to it. So where else could this lead me to?
- 8:51Speaker 8: What are the possibilities?
- 8:53Speaker 5: Man?
- 8:54Speaker 8: What are the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have
- 8:59Speaker 8: in store for me? If I just hang in there,
- 9:01Speaker 8: if I pass this test of faith? If I just
- 9:05Speaker 8: pass this test, now, it ain't gonna be the only one.
- 9:08Speaker 8: But you gotta get past this one. No, then you
- 9:11Speaker 8: gonna hear the smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one.
- 9:14Speaker 8: It's gonna be another one. Life ain't nothing but a
- 9:16Speaker 8: series of tests.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Man.
- 9:20Speaker 8: Man, when you're thinking about giving up, when you're discouraged,
- 9:24Speaker 8: think of the outcome. Imagine what it would be like
- 9:27Speaker 8: if you don't quit, if you don't give up, what's
- 9:30Speaker 8: the upside to stay in with it? Where can this
- 9:33Speaker 8: all lead to? What can this get you to? If
- 9:37Speaker 8: you do this and you get to where you think
- 9:40Speaker 8: you want to be? Oh my god, what's after that?
- 9:43Speaker 8: What are the limitless and endless possibilities of holding on
- 9:48Speaker 8: to your faith?
- 9:50Speaker 2: What could really be out there for me?
- 9:52Speaker 3: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 2: If I just passed this test, you gotta talk yourself
- 9:55Speaker 2: into hanging in there.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening moning yea.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have you undivided attention. It's
- 10:05Speaker 8: another day, another opportunity, another blessing from our heavenly Father.
- 10:10Speaker 2: However you choose to worship God, that's your business. That's
- 10:14Speaker 2: not my job. My job is to ride and remind.
- 10:17Speaker 8: You of the whatever relationship you got, get it focused,
- 10:21Speaker 8: get some gratitude going, because this ain't really how it's
- 10:24Speaker 8: got could go for you. It could be worse. I
- 10:27Speaker 8: don't care how you struggling. Example, my back is ailing
- 10:32Speaker 8: me right now. I got some back issues. There are
- 10:35Speaker 8: people who are laying on their back and can't walk.
- 10:38Speaker 8: I need to go ahead home. You see what I'm saying.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I mean I got you.
- 10:42Speaker 8: You might be one paycheck or one decision away from
- 10:46Speaker 8: being homeless, but you still got a key to a door.
- 10:49Speaker 8: There are some people who are already homeless who don't
- 10:52Speaker 8: have a key to a door.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Come on, man, you gotta think about this the right way.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm just grateful.
- 10:56Speaker 9: Man.
- 10:56Speaker 8: God is good, you blessed, highly favored. We again, ain't
- 11:00Speaker 8: we got another shot. Keep your head up, have positive thoughts,
- 11:04Speaker 8: and attract the right energy. But above all else, former
- 11:07Speaker 8: relationship with your heavenly Father. Steve har Martis Show, Shirley

- 11:14Speaker 8: that he is Nephew Thomas. He got house parties now,
- 11:17Speaker 8: I heard that in a commercial. He has house parties. Now,
- 11:22Speaker 8: Nephew house Yeah, Nephew Thomas house party. That's the comedy show.
- 11:29Speaker 8: He switches it up, very very creative young man, always
- 11:33Speaker 8: switching it up.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Moving it around. Never the same.
- 11:36Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, cret.
- 11:40Speaker 2: What's going on in your little house party?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Oh?
- 11:43Speaker 10: Man, it's great over here. You know, I've learned, like
- 11:47Speaker 10: you're talking, man, I've learned. Just go ahead and changed
- 11:49Speaker 10: his attitude.
- 11:50Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 11:50Speaker 8: It's just about you're gonna change your attitude because they not. Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 8: you know, Junior, I don't know what you thought marriage was.
- 11:59Speaker 2: But are you finding out.
- 12:00Speaker 4: How it is?
- 12:01Speaker 6: Oh?
- 12:01Speaker 2: I'll find out how it is now.
- 12:03Speaker 7: Oh yeah yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Let me let me ask you something, because you always
- 12:07Speaker 8: asked me something. Did you really think after you got married?
- 12:11Speaker 8: Did you really think he was gonna be in charge?
- 12:14Speaker 3: No?
- 12:15Speaker 10: No, I ain't think I was gonna be in charge.
- 12:16Speaker 10: I thought it was gonna have us, you know, the
- 12:18Speaker 10: same relationship. That's what I thought, you know, for a
- 12:21Speaker 10: while you mean equality. Yeah, you know when we were saying,
- 12:25Speaker 10: I thought it was you know, we were the same thing.
- 12:27Speaker 10: Just you know, we just said I, Oh, you don't know.

- 12:42Speaker 8: a mount of physical activity you're gonna have.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, she did because she ain't trying to win
- 12:48Speaker 2: the ring.
- 12:48Speaker 6: No more.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You ain't know that. No, no, oh, you actually thought, junior,
- 12:53Speaker 2: that marriage was fifty to fifty.
- 12:55Speaker 9: That's what they said.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Who said that? Ain't none of them say that though?
- 13:00Speaker 8: Up now, you thought that that woman you was engaged too,
- 13:04Speaker 8: that had all this bubby personality. You thought she was
- 13:07Speaker 8: gonna wake up that same way every day every day.
- 13:11Speaker 8: Look at the attitudes on your screen right now.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oo boo, I don't like your breakdown of this whole thing.
- 13:18Speaker 9: Boo.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Well let me ask you a question or caller about
- 13:22Speaker 2: my breakdown?

- 16:42Speaker 6: is I'm making my thesis a video and opposed to
- 16:45Speaker 6: a report, so everything is gonna be on video. So
- 16:48Speaker 6: what I'm trying to do is actually get a time

- 20:02Speaker 5: Does it tangle? That's all I want to know. Does
- 20:04Speaker 5: it tangle? Because it tangles to me?
- 20:09Speaker 1: Stupid?
- 20:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Take it to the next level and you'll find some
- 20:14Speaker 5: stupid what stupid what? Find something to go with it?

- 20:39Speaker 5: August thirty, first Labor Day weekend at the Shape That
- 20:42Speaker 5: is the Shape Performing Odds Center. I am headed to Buffalo,

- 21:00Speaker 1: listening morning show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:05Speaker 1: We invited the chairman of the Democratic National Committee to
- 21:09Speaker 1: join us with an update on what's going on at
- 21:11Speaker 1: the convention in Chicago this week. That's all coming up
- 21:14Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, But right now it
- 21:16Speaker 1: is time for us to ask the CLO our chief
- 21:19Speaker 1: love Officer, Steve Harvey. All right, Steve, here we go.
- 21:23Speaker 1: This is from Kai and Irving in Irvine. Kai says,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I got a flat tire right outside of town, and
- 21:30Speaker 1: I was supposed to be at work. I got choed
- 21:32Speaker 1: to a dealership and to my surprise, my husband's cousin
- 21:36Speaker 1: works there. He said he could tell I was worried,
- 21:41Speaker 1: but my secret is safe with him. Why is he
- 21:44Speaker 1: willing to cover for me?
- 21:46Speaker 2: What's the secret? You know, there's a lot of information
- 21:49Speaker 2: missing in this.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Why was she over there? All of that?
- 21:56Speaker 2: So she had a flat tie outside.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Of town, outside of him? Yeah, she was supposed to
- 22:02Speaker 1: be at work. She was playing hooky from work.
- 22:04Speaker 8: Yeah, oh oh, yeah, she's playing hooky from work. So
- 22:10Speaker 8: she's saying to us that she's having an affair.
- 22:15Speaker 1: If you read between the lines. Yeah, yeah, she was
- 22:19Speaker 1: somewhere where she wasn't supposed to be. She was at work.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Her husband thought she was at work.
- 22:24Speaker 8: Well, you know, your secrets safe with me. That's the
- 22:27Speaker 8: set up line, because why is he covering for me?
- 22:30Speaker 8: Because if you want to stay covered, it's gonna cost
- 22:35Speaker 8: you something. Yeah, sir, So all he doing is letting
- 22:39Speaker 8: you know. Yeah I know, and don't worry about it.
- 22:43Speaker 8: Your secret is safe with me. That's the set up, okay,
- 22:47Speaker 8: because dudes, dudes, we don't that ain't we don't do
- 22:51Speaker 8: something for nothing.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that ain't our makeup, I promise you. That's what
- 22:57Speaker 2: that is.
- 22:57Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 5: They all belong me, that's what that is.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, belong to me. Yeah you know, I mean, hey,
- 23:04Speaker 2: I mean since you tip it. Uh yeah, so there
- 23:10Speaker 2: you go. They ain't cool, no way.
- 23:13Speaker 8: They not cool, no way, because he would have never
- 23:15Speaker 8: said your secrets safe with me because he had just
- 23:18Speaker 8: shut his mouth and when low down stink right.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, yeah, trying to play my boy.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right, Moving on to Griff and Auburn.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Griff says, I've been with my lady friend for three years,
- 23:32Speaker 1: and I've always been a provider. She ordered groceries, so
- 23:36Speaker 1: I asked her to order me a few things. The
- 23:38Speaker 1: delivery came to her house and she asked me to
- 23:41Speaker 1: pay for what I ordered. Does this seem right to you?
- 23:47Speaker 6: No?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Right?
- 23:52Speaker 4: Yeah, split this up.
- 23:55Speaker 1: She's selfish.
- 23:57Speaker 8: Yeah, you know you could buy herself. Mach ain't gonna
- 24:00Speaker 8: buy you nothing, y'all just boyfriend and girlfriend. Let's end
- 24:04Speaker 8: this now because this ain't going nowhere. Yeah, this ain't.
- 24:08Speaker 8: This ain't going nowhere though. She won't even buy you
- 24:11Speaker 8: some food now, But.
- 24:16Speaker 1: He's always providing for her. Hey, your orders here?
- 24:27Speaker 2: What is this peanut buddy in him?
- 24:33Speaker 10: All right?
- 24:34Speaker 1: All right, Celo. Moving on to Connie and Laurel. Connie writes,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I'm a CNA. That's a certified nursing assistant. I'm a
- 24:42Speaker 1: CNA and I'm dating a real estate broker. We went
- 24:45Speaker 1: to a corporate event and he said to let him
- 24:48Speaker 1: do all of the talking. So I smiled and stared
- 24:51Speaker 1: into space when people talk to me. He said, I'm
- 24:54Speaker 1: childish for acting like that. What did he expect?
- 24:59Speaker 5: She put on a ship.
- 25:02Speaker 2: People started talking to her. She would He's sitting up
- 25:11Speaker 2: there hum in the whole time. How you doing, man?
- 25:17Speaker 2: What you're doing? What you stop doing it? I'm saying,
- 25:29Speaker 2: negro spirituals? Why are you talking?
- 25:37Speaker 4: Let it alone?
- 25:39Speaker 1: He was embarrassed. Yeah, that's what he gets at his core.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Pretty then, yeah, telling her to shut up let me
- 25:46Speaker 1: do all the talking.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, cool, all right, all right, go ahead, do
- 25:50Speaker 2: all of the damn talking. There you go.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Why would he say that to her, Celo.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Well, because he probably know you know what. Come on,
- 26:02Speaker 2: you know maybe maybe you know what.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Let me hear you say this. Go ahead.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Well, it's a couple of things could be going on.
- 26:13Speaker 8: He don't want her to blurt out too much information
- 26:15Speaker 8: because he'd told the people down at the job he's
- 26:18Speaker 8: something else. She might say the wrong thing, expose a
- 26:22Speaker 8: lie he told. That's number one. He might also think
- 26:27Speaker 8: she talked to damn much. That's another thing. And then
- 26:31Speaker 8: the third one that we're hoping is you really find
- 26:35Speaker 8: but you ain't that bright. But then she got to
- 26:38Speaker 8: be bright because she is CNA.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, uh huh.
- 26:44Speaker 8: So I think what you did was absolutely brilliant. Oh
- 26:50Speaker 8: hell yeah, Oh you don't want me to talk? Okay,
- 26:52Speaker 8: watch this here.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Childish?
- 26:54Speaker 8: Come on, but it's childish and him, why would you
- 26:59Speaker 8: take a woman and then tell her let me do
- 27:02Speaker 8: all tight? You just be an arm candy? Yes, now,
- 27:06Speaker 8: you can't do people like that. Okay, all right, cool,
- 27:09Speaker 8: let me show you how. I just be arm camp. Hello, madam,
- 27:15Speaker 8: how are you today? I'll be doing chance all kind
- 27:22Speaker 8: of stuff.
- 27:24Speaker 1: All right, shut your damn up, all right, Last one,
- 27:32Speaker 1: last one, Celo. It's from Amanda in Pittsburgh. I'm a
- 27:36Speaker 1: newlywed and we're having our first baby. My husband wants
- 27:39Speaker 1: to move back to Alabama so his mama can help
- 27:42Speaker 1: with the baby. We can hire help and his mom
- 27:46Speaker 1: can come and visit. I am not moving. How do
- 27:49Speaker 1: I get him to stop nagging me about it?
- 27:51Speaker 8: Ain't nobody going back to Alabama so your damn mama
- 27:54Speaker 8: can help with the baby by going around.
- 27:56Speaker 2: The Alabama.
- 28:01Speaker 4: From Pittsburgh.
- 28:03Speaker 2: The hell we going back down here, y'all ain't got
- 28:05Speaker 2: a football team down here.
- 28:08Speaker 8: Still, we got pro sports up here, y'all. Y'all got
- 28:11Speaker 8: road tied in the water and were tired of that.
- 28:14Speaker 8: I'm not going back down here getting in no damn
- 28:17Speaker 8: two O five fight, No.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Hell, no.
- 28:26Speaker 9: Steamboat coming in.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Down there, fighting the mont government and all this here.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Throwing hats up.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Let's go back to Alabama. We ain't. We ain't going
- 28:36Speaker 2: to Alabama.
- 28:39Speaker 1: So that's a no, a hard now, So does that
- 28:44Speaker 1: make him stop nagging her?
- 28:45Speaker 2: That's what she wants to know. He ain't gonna stop.
- 28:47Speaker 2: But I'm not moving.
- 28:48Speaker 9: You're not.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Now.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Let me tell y'all something. You cannot make a woman move.
- 28:54Speaker 2: First of all. All she got to do is say
- 28:57Speaker 2: I ain't packing sugar, honey, ice.
- 29:02Speaker 9: On this baby.
- 29:05Speaker 2: You can go back.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, baby got a baby now with a family. Wow.
- 29:14Speaker 1: All right, clo, okay, all right. Coming up at the
- 29:18Speaker 1: top of the hour, as we switch gears here, d
- 29:21Speaker 1: NC Chairperson Jamie Harrison will be our special guests. You
- 29:24Speaker 1: don't want to miss it. Right after this. You're listening
- 29:28Speaker 1: Hard Morning Show.
- 29:32Speaker 8: Our special guest this morning happens to be the chair
- 29:35Speaker 8: of the Democratic National Committee.
- 29:37Speaker 2: He's joining us today live from Chicago.
- 29:39Speaker 8: He's still there, and he had a great speech Monday night.
- 29:46Speaker 8: He's joining us because I want to talk to him
- 29:48Speaker 8: about that briefing. Will I want to share all the
- 29:52Speaker 8: thoughts he had about his speech and this historic nature
- 29:55Speaker 8: of this year's convention and the message of hope and joy.
- 29:58Speaker 8: Let's get to it. Please, welcome back to this sh show.
- 30:00Speaker 8: Our buddy. He's been on show several times. He's the
- 30:03Speaker 8: best representative for the Democratic Party I've ever had on
- 30:07Speaker 8: this show explains everything. So well, he's back, mister Jamie Harrison. Well, brother,
- 30:17Speaker 8: you're still in Chicago. First of all, we heard the
- 30:21Speaker 8: speech Monday night. Outstanding, big out maya.
- 30:25Speaker 7: Yes, he was up.
- 30:27Speaker 2: You're looking good man.
- 30:28Speaker 8: First of all, so how do you feel about the
- 30:29Speaker 8: speech you gave? And then what's the feeling that this
- 30:33Speaker 8: year's convention?
- 30:35Speaker 3: Well, Steve byself, I felt amazing being on that stage, man,
- 30:39Speaker 3: And you know, we got to step back and understand
- 30:42Speaker 3: the history of all of us. And it was really
- 30:45Speaker 3: an emotional date. You know, sixty years ago Fanny lou
- 30:48Speaker 3: Hammer came to the Democratic National Convention and testified as
- 30:52Speaker 3: the Credentials Committee and she said, then, you know, because
- 30:56Speaker 3: it was an all white Mississippi delegation, and she said,
- 31:00Speaker 3: I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. And
- 31:03Speaker 3: you fast forward to sixty years now today, and I
- 31:08Speaker 3: gabbled in this convention, a black man from South Carolina
- 31:12Speaker 3: with a black woman our convention chair. Then, y'all more,
- 31:15Speaker 3: a black woman who grew up here on the South
- 31:17Speaker 3: side of Chicago, and we are nominating a black woman
- 31:21Speaker 3: to be president of the United States. Folks, that's a history.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I want people to step back and understand that we
- 31:29Speaker 3: all are part of history right now, and we got
- 31:32Speaker 3: to appreciate that and make sure that this history is
- 31:35Speaker 3: a successful one. Com O Harris needs to be President
- 31:39Speaker 3: of the United States, and it's within our power to
- 31:41Speaker 3: make that happen.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yes, that's a fact. It is within our power.
- 31:47Speaker 8: And let's talk about how we can harness some of
- 31:50Speaker 8: this power, right because from what my understanding, I want
- 31:54Speaker 8: you to help explain this to me. I didn't my
- 31:56Speaker 8: understanding that the DNC wants to be more inclusive with influencers.
- 32:03Speaker 8: Tell me about that and what exactly the VNC is
- 32:06Speaker 8: trying to accomplish.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Well, you know, see, my vision from when I took
- 32:10Speaker 3: over the DNC was to make sure that we are
- 32:13Speaker 3: reaching people where they are. Not just asking people to
- 32:16Speaker 3: come to us, but we're going to where people are.
- 32:18Speaker 3: And we got to understand that how people take in
- 32:21Speaker 3: information these days. My first political memory was nineteen eighty
- 32:26Speaker 3: eight and watching the Democratic Convention Jesse Jackson on that
- 32:29Speaker 3: stage and we watched it on TV. Well, the way
- 32:32Speaker 3: that people watch this convention now is very different. That's
- 32:35Speaker 3: analog watching on TV, people are listening radio, they're on digital,
- 32:39Speaker 3: they're getting pieces from TikTok, Instagram, threads, Facebook and all
- 32:45Speaker 3: the ways. We got to make sure that we are
- 32:47Speaker 3: communicating with people in the ways in which they receive information.
- 32:51Speaker 3: And so this year we did something unprecedented. We invited
- 32:55Speaker 3: two hundred social media content creators. We credential them like
- 33:00Speaker 3: we were credential oppressed to come and cover the DNC,
- 33:04Speaker 3: and we even have a special space for them on
- 33:06Speaker 3: the floor of the convention. We've never done that before,
- 33:10Speaker 3: and that is because we want to reach everybody, not
- 33:13Speaker 3: just a select few, but everybody in the ways that
- 33:15Speaker 3: they get information. You know, the RNC didn't do that,
- 33:18Speaker 3: but the DNC understands that the people are the most
- 33:22Speaker 3: important thing in this election. We reach them, we win
- 33:25Speaker 3: this race.
- 33:27Speaker 8: Wow, I think you're absolutely correct about that, because well,
- 33:31Speaker 8: let's talk about that difference too, because you said the
- 33:34Speaker 8: RNC didn't do that. So how does the Democratic National Convention,
- 33:40Speaker 8: how does it differ from what the Republican National Convention
- 33:44Speaker 8: look like back in July?
- 33:46Speaker 3: Well, Steve, I mean their thing was old and stoic.
- 33:49Speaker 3: I mean, listen, who had big stars were I mean
- 33:53Speaker 3: they had Hulkgan, they had Kid Ron, you know, the
- 33:57Speaker 3: Amber Rose. I mean, excuse me who that's right? And
- 34:07Speaker 3: that's your big stars who you gonna bring to the table.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Look at the folks that we we have already had,
- 34:14Speaker 3: you know, from from uh Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Uh,
- 34:19Speaker 3: and we we haven't gotten yet to Madame Vice President herself,
- 34:24Speaker 3: Kamala Harris and then some of the other stars and
- 34:26Speaker 3: celebrities and rock stars and the Democratic Party that are
- 34:29Speaker 3: going to be on that stage. So you know, it's
- 34:33Speaker 3: a different type of vibe, it's a different type of energy.
- 34:35Speaker 3: It's almost like concert slash family reunion all together. And
- 34:40Speaker 3: there's a lot of hope and joy in the United
- 34:43Speaker 3: Center right now.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Uh.
- 34:45Speaker 3: And that's a far different field than what you got
- 34:48Speaker 3: over at the Republican Party. I mean, he put on
- 34:50Speaker 3: Donald Trump Junior on the stage. Nobody want to hear
- 34:53Speaker 3: no Donald Trump ju No damnbody exactly.
- 34:59Speaker 8: Remember did you hear the statement that Donald Trump Junior made?
- 35:02Speaker 8: He said, and he released his video says, I can't
- 35:06Speaker 8: believe how many black men, African American men come up
- 35:10Speaker 8: to me and go, hey, Donald Trump Jr.
- 35:13Speaker 2: You're our hero.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I go, like, what I w bro.
- 35:18Speaker 5: In Hell.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Well, dude, oh Tim Scotts, God, guys are coming up.
- 35:27Speaker 3: To him seeing that he's amazing and all that.
- 35:30Speaker 2: That's the only one.
- 35:33Speaker 8: I ain't never heard of. Black dude say that and
- 35:36Speaker 8: all my friends is black. Hey man, hey man, we
- 35:45Speaker 8: got thirty seconds.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Hang on one second.
- 35:46Speaker 8: I'm gonna bring you back so we can wrap up,
- 35:48Speaker 8: and I want you to talk about when we come back,
- 35:51Speaker 8: the message of hope and joy that the DNC is
- 35:54Speaker 8: centered around. And let's go over the what you think
- 35:58Speaker 8: are the distinct differences between the two candidates, Madam Vice
- 36:02Speaker 8: President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
- 36:05Speaker 2: So when we come back, we'll go over that.
- 36:06Speaker 8: Our special guest is the chair of the Democratic Party,
- 36:09Speaker 8: mister Jamie Harrison.
- 36:10Speaker 2: We'll be right back with Steve Harv Morner Show.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You're listening, Morning Show, All.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Right, we back everybody.
- 36:17Speaker 8: Our special guest this morning is the Chair of the
- 36:19Speaker 8: Democratic National Committee, mister Jamie Harrison. And he's been on
- 36:24Speaker 8: the show before and he I thought, he's just been
- 36:27Speaker 8: the best guest we've ever had to really expound on
- 36:30Speaker 8: what the party was about in the Biden administration. Well,
- 36:35Speaker 8: now it's about to be a new administration. It's about
- 36:37Speaker 8: to be the Harris administration. And we were talking about
- 36:41Speaker 8: his speech at the Democratic Convention. We're talking about all
- 36:44Speaker 8: the things that's happening. But right now I want you
- 36:47Speaker 8: to share with us when we were when we got
- 36:49Speaker 8: two minutes, Let's talk about the message of hope and
- 36:52Speaker 8: joy of this year's DNC is centered around and what
- 36:56Speaker 8: you think are the two key differences, I mean the
- 37:00Speaker 8: differences between the two candidates.
- 37:02Speaker 3: That's running well, Steve, you know, the Republican Party is
- 37:05Speaker 3: a party of fear. They want to make you afraid
- 37:08Speaker 3: of everything you know, your neighbors, your friends, or family members,
- 37:12Speaker 3: and they want you to think that everybody's trying to
- 37:14Speaker 3: get what you want. We the Democratic Party, are the
- 37:17Speaker 3: party of hope.
- 37:19Speaker 6: We are the party of hope.
- 37:20Speaker 3: We you know, they think that our better days as
- 37:23Speaker 3: a country are behind us. That's why they say make
- 37:25Speaker 3: America great Again. But we know that our better days
- 37:28Speaker 3: as a people as a country are ahead of us.
- 37:31Speaker 3: It's about the possibilities and that's what Kamala Harris represents,
- 37:36Speaker 3: you know, That's that's all the things that we all
- 37:39Speaker 3: try to represent. You know, I was born to a
- 37:41Speaker 3: teen mom sixteen years old. And you know, I gabbled
- 37:45Speaker 3: in the convention. Right, that only happens in America, and
- 37:49Speaker 3: that's what the Democratic Party fights for each and every day.
- 37:52Speaker 3: And we look at the contrast between Kamala Harris and
- 37:55Speaker 3: Donald Trump. You know, Kamala Harrison wants to uplift all
- 37:59Speaker 3: of America. She wants to make sure that everybody, regardless
- 38:02Speaker 3: of your race, your religions, who you love, how you love,
- 38:05Speaker 3: what you look like, that you can live the American dream.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Donald Trump only cares about one person living in the
- 38:11Speaker 3: American dream, and that's Donald Trump. He is the most
- 38:14Speaker 3: selfish person in politics in this country, in the country's history.
- 38:18Speaker 3: He was willing to risk the life of his own
- 38:21Speaker 3: vice president in order to hold on power. And you
- 38:24Speaker 3: look at Joe Biden and you look at Kamala Harris,
- 38:26Speaker 3: Joe Biden, I say it goes out as one of
- 38:29Speaker 3: the most selfless people in politics because he understood that
- 38:32Speaker 3: in order to protect democracy, in order to secure our
- 38:35Speaker 3: rights and freedom, that he had to pass at baton
- 38:38Speaker 3: to his very able and capable and intelligence a Madam
- 38:41Speaker 3: vice president. That's a selfless act. Whereas Donald Trump is selfish.
- 38:47Speaker 3: So Kamala Harris is ready to prosecute this case against
- 38:50Speaker 3: this thirty four accounts convicted felon who raped the woman
- 38:54Speaker 3: who was impeached twice. That is who Donald Trump is.
- 38:57Speaker 3: We wouldn't want Donald Trump to come to our how old,
- 39:00Speaker 3: or to be our neighbor to do anything. Why the
- 39:02Speaker 3: hell would we want him to be president of the
- 39:04Speaker 3: United States. Let's stand up and support Kamala Harrison because
- 39:09Speaker 3: she is one of us, and that's what we have
- 39:11Speaker 3: to do. She represents all the good of this country
- 39:15Speaker 3: and particularly all the good in the black community. We
- 39:18Speaker 3: need to stand up and be by her side.
- 39:20Speaker 6: And have her back.
- 39:21Speaker 8: Brother well said, and like she said, we are not
- 39:26Speaker 8: going back. We're gonna make America better. We ain't going back.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Hey, Jamie Hassen, thank you for joining us.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Man.
- 39:33Speaker 2: We'll talk to you some more as the election goes on.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Good job, brother, Thank you.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I'll take care. Thank you again.
- 39:39Speaker 6: Doctor.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Soon you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, Steve, your
- 39:46Speaker 1: nephew has some things he wants to share. He has

- 40:38Speaker 5: That's what I'm talking about. This, This is just letting
- 40:40Speaker 5: you know these things. Yeah, things men want to say
- 40:46Speaker 5: to their wives that they can't really say, you know,
- 40:49Speaker 5: they send at the timing so they can get them
- 40:50Speaker 5: off their chests. That that's that's my first one. That
- 40:53Speaker 5: secondly is why don't you wear the throngs no more?
- 40:58Speaker 2: I mean why?
- 40:58Speaker 9: Why?
- 40:59Speaker 6: What is it? What?
- 40:59Speaker 5: What wrong with the thongbs?
- 41:02Speaker 4: Is the throng wrong? I mean why?
- 41:04Speaker 5: It's just these are just things we want to say
- 41:06Speaker 5: to y'all that we don't really.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Know it, right.
- 41:12Speaker 8: I have one, go ahead one? What Why don't you

- 41:43Speaker 5: You want to be as hot as you are?
- 41:48Speaker 1: That divorce?
- 41:49Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 41:52Speaker 11: About?
- 41:53Speaker 2: I can't do it, but I want to what? Why
- 41:56Speaker 2: you mad at me?
- 41:56Speaker 7: I didn't go to work with you?
- 42:00Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 42:00Speaker 1: You you go too far?
- 42:02Speaker 4: What you man?

- 55:19Speaker 1: the wrong example. We had only spent three night full
- 55:23Speaker 1: nights together before we got married. He was definitely on
- 55:26Speaker 1: his best behavior night right after we said I do.
- 55:31Speaker 1: But then I started to notice a lot of nasty behaviors.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Here are a few. He rubs his ashy feet together
- 55:38Speaker 1: to fall asleep, and it's very loud. His foot scrapings
- 55:43Speaker 1: are left between the sheets and they get all over me.
- 55:47Speaker 1: He likes to sleep in nothing but his boxers, and
- 55:50Speaker 1: his bristly bear chest pokes me when he tries to cuddle.
- 55:55Speaker 1: He needs his sleep mask, but he won't wear it
- 55:57Speaker 1: because he likes to wake up in the middle of
- 55:59Speaker 1: the night for sex is not romantic, and most times
- 56:02Speaker 1: he doesn't kiss.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Me or look at me.
- 56:05Speaker 1: He's usually loud and out of breath. We're an older
- 56:09Speaker 1: couple and we are set in our ways. The sex
- 56:12Speaker 1: is doable, but it's impossible to sleep next to him.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Can our marriage work if I sleep in the other room? Well,
- 56:21Speaker 1: you just said he's threatening to divorce you if you
- 56:23Speaker 1: don't sleep in the same bed with him. And this
- 56:26Speaker 1: has been going on for two months now. He's not
- 56:29Speaker 1: having it. He is not having it. But other couples
- 56:32Speaker 1: have made this work. You know, they come together to
- 56:35Speaker 1: have sex or and then they retreat to their own
- 56:38Speaker 1: rooms afterwards if the snoring is unbearable and all of that,
- 56:43Speaker 1: but through it all they stay together. And yes, you
- 56:46Speaker 1: can be turned off by his ashy feet and the
- 56:49Speaker 1: scrapings that he leaves on the bed, especially if they
- 56:52Speaker 1: get all over you and they're all in the bed. Yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 1: that's that's disgusting. And you know, moisturize, clean clean up
- 56:58Speaker 1: that we don't like that. You know, you can fix
- 57:02Speaker 1: the snoring. You know that might take a little effort,
- 57:06Speaker 1: but it's not impossible. And you know, marriage is a compromise.
- 57:10Speaker 1: You know that if he wants you in the bed,
- 57:13Speaker 1: he should be willing to make a few simple changes.
- 57:15Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think you should let ashy feed
- 57:18Speaker 1: and snoring make you have a divorce or anything. You know,
- 57:22Speaker 1: take him with you the next time you get your
- 57:24Speaker 1: feet done so he can get his done too. I
- 57:27Speaker 1: just think those small things would make a big difference
- 57:29Speaker 1: if you, guys want this marriage, if you truly love
- 57:32Speaker 1: each other, because the whole point is to make these
- 57:35Speaker 1: minor adjustments and get you back in the bed and
- 57:38Speaker 1: to save your marriage, basically, because that's what you want.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Steve, Well, it's a.
- 57:43Speaker 8: Good answer, Shirley, but I'm just gonna go on and
- 57:45Speaker 8: cut to it. The subject is it's impossible to sleep
- 57:48Speaker 8: next to him. The question at the end of the
- 57:51Speaker 8: letter is can I marriage work if I sleep in
- 57:53Speaker 8: the other room? Okay, let's just deal with the hobbys.
- 57:58Speaker 8: Can I marriage work if I sleep in the other room? Yes,
- 58:03Speaker 8: it can, but this one probably ain't. One more time,
- 58:09Speaker 8: Can our marriage work if I sleep in the other room?
- 58:13Speaker 8: It probably can, but this one ain't. And because you
- 58:19Speaker 8: said your husband is threatening to divorce you, because you
- 58:24Speaker 8: already ain't slept into bed with him for almost two months,
- 58:30Speaker 8: you can't take no mold. So now he threatening to
- 58:34Speaker 8: divorce you will hold up, don't. Let's look at this
- 58:39Speaker 8: part right here. This is why he got these nasty habits.
- 58:43Speaker 8: He rubs his ashy feet together to fall asleep, and
- 58:48Speaker 8: it's very loud.
- 58:50Speaker 4: What is on his damn feet?
- 58:55Speaker 1: Get to it?
- 58:55Speaker 6: Get to it?
- 58:56Speaker 9: What is you up?
- 58:58Speaker 2: Okay?
- 58:58Speaker 8: This is my hands in a mine microphone and I
- 59:05Speaker 8: got him right up against the microphone. And I have
- 59:08Speaker 8: for a man's soft hands. Most people shake my hands,
- 59:12Speaker 8: hold my hands, say wow, you have really really soft hands.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Because I don't do nothing. I don't do nothing.
- 59:19Speaker 6: Now.
- 59:20Speaker 2: When I was in my twenties, I had rough hair
- 59:22Speaker 2: hands because I had.
- 59:23Speaker 1: To go to work, calluses and stuff.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I had all that.
- 59:26Speaker 8: I'm picking up manifolds, sledge hammers, you know, engine blocks.
- 59:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I had rough hair hands.
- 59:32Speaker 8: I don't do that no more. Now what is on
- 59:38Speaker 8: his feet though that he rubbed them together and they loud.
- 59:42Speaker 8: Now once again, let me show you. This is my
- 59:44Speaker 8: hands in the microphone.
- 59:47Speaker 2: His feet is under the cover and they loud.
- 59:52Speaker 8: I beat damn So homeboy, and y'all have already said
- 59:57Speaker 8: y'all are older couple. He don't do nothing than to
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: his feet, but walk on him. Ain't no lotion, ain't
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: no filing, ain't no clipping nothing. So now his foot
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: scrapings are left between the sheets and they get all
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: over me.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: What how you sleep with this nasty ass?
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: What is we doing?
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: And he likes to sleep in nothing but his boxes,
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: and his bristly bare chest pokes me when he tries
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: to cuddle.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: That's irritating.
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: And he needs his sleep mask, but he won't wear
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: it because he likes to wake me up in the
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: middle of the night.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: For six Now for those of you, okay, yeah, just
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: think we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject of
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter it's impossible to sleep next to him.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Morning show, all right, Come on, Steve Let's cat. Today's
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: strawberry letter. The subject is it's impossible to sleep next
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: to him.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: And she said that right, it is impossible.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: So what she's done is she has already not slept
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: in the same bed with him for two months now
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: as she wrote the letter. And we found out lating
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: the letter, there an older couple and then she says,
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: can I marriage work if I sleep in the other room?
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: It can work?
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: But this probably ain't.
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: And the reason you in that other room is because
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: you didn't know after dating him, because he used to
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: come to your house, but you got daughters, so y'all
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: would get a hotel room. And so now y'all spend together,
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: spend the night together three times, but maybe not the
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: full night. Now y'all married, and he lived at forget
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: who's wrong? He rubs his ass, she feet together to
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: fall asleep, and it's very loud. Let me show you something.
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: This is my hand in the microphone. Okay, you can
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: barely hear that, but you hear his feet is under
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: the cover and he rubbing them together, and they very loud.
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: What is on his mas's feet?
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Years and years of war tail?
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: He don't lotion him. He ain't got no calamine. This
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: boy is beyond.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Corn husker's lotion. He needs some firework done.
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: He need a dipping, He need a hot wax, He
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: need a pedicure, He need a skin peel, probably need
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: his feet bleached. By this point, I don't know what
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: he ain't doing nothing on his feet, sept walking on
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: him and then the next thing that's wrong is he
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: likes to sleep with nothing but his boxes and his
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: bristly hair chest poked me when he tried to cuddle,
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: but then he.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Snored like a bull.
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: And he don't want to wear his mask at night
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: because he wants to have sex in the middle of
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: the night. Now, let me explain this mask to you.
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: The only mask I know about that a lot of
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: men some women have to wear it too, is for
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: sleep avenue. Yeah, it's hooked up to a machine so
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: it can force air into you so you can get
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: a real nice sleep. This is important if you have
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: sleep apnee because if you don't, most sleep avenue patients
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: also have high blood pressure. If you don't solve this
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: sleeping problem and help with your high blood pressure, that
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: can lead to stroke. This is not a joking matter. Brothers.
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: You have got to address the cause of you sleeping
- 1:03:30Speaker 8: on a machine. You don't have to accept sleeping on
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: the sleep apnel machine, because I did. I had to
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: sleep on it, and I slept on one for about
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: four five months. Then I got on a program, a
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: holistic approach. I got that inflammation out of my body
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: and now I no longer have sleep avenue. I don't
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: sleep on the machine. I couldn't stand it. Okay, So
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: that's what's wrong with him. So he got to get
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: hisself together for a mess around at high blood lead
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: to a stroke and we got another problem.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: Now, he won't wear it because he liked to wake
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: me up in the middle of the night. And it's
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: not romantic. He don't look at me or kiss me,
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: and he usually loud and out of breath. Why know
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: where everywhere he loud because he's trying to have sex,
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: and them feet, them same feet, is trying to get
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: grip on them sheets down there.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: That's loud too.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: For all of that combined, all that.
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: You got a lot of racket going on. Then she
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: said the sex is doable, but it's impossible to sleep
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: next to him.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Can I marriage work? And then the whole thing that.
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: Threw me in this letter is my husband is threatening
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: to divorce me. I don't see how the hell you
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: ain't trying to divorce him. Yeah, I would flip the
- 1:04:45Speaker 8: scrip on his ass. First of all, he ain't gonna
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: get another U. And the reason he was available because
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: ain't nobody else gonna let you scrape them big ass
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: feet together and make all that damn noise. And now
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: I got foot shat all over me in the morning.
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: That ain't bro and he gotta do this to go
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: to sleep. Ah, hey man, listen to me, you're gonna
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: get We're gonna get a job as seleen. We're gonna
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: put them on their feet, and we're gonna heat up
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: some socks in the oven and we're gonna put them
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: damn socks on that night, and we're gonna do that
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: for a week straight. Then we're gonna get us some
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: corn Huskers lotion and we're gonna put that on, and
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: we're gonna bandage your feet up like a Chinese woman.
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: We gonna get you bonded and we're gonna get some
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: help for your damn feet. And then after that we
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: take them bonds off, we're gonna soak them. We're gonna
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: get you an ass and some epsence salt, and we
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: gonna see if we can get all this stuff off
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: your feet now. And then probably ran up his legs too,
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: so you're probably gonna most people have got ass, your feet,
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: got ash your ankles, which usually lead that Ashley Ashley kneecaps.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he's just a.
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: Yeah, he raggedy. So yeah, baby, if I was you,
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: he I can't believe he finna get the divorce. You
- 1:06:11Speaker 8: ought to get the divorce. I'm not sleeping with you
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: like that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: You have to.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I don't mind this, knowing we can work around that.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: I get that. We're just scraping your feet shavings on
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: me at night.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: We're not gonna do that, nasty Martin. Want to hear
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: the chainsaw because he had to go to work on
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: my respiet and that was you got yet Myra's feet? Yes, Wow,
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: that's what this guy needs. A chainsaw. M Yeah, that's
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: that's a lot right there. Disgusting, It's a lot. I
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: think they might break up though, Steve, No, that's over
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: with but he won't make the change. Well because he
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: won't make the changes.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: But did he want her to stay in to bed
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: do it?
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: All right?

- 1:07:19Speaker 1: after this you're listening morning show. It is time now
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got, junior.
- 1:07:26Speaker 10: You know, Shirley Tommy kind of inspired me today with
- 1:07:29Speaker 10: the things you want to say. Well, since it's football
- 1:07:32Speaker 10: season is coming up, and uh, you know, I think
- 1:07:35Speaker 10: we're gonna have to have some rules in here for
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: how we're gonna have to watch the games.
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: On Thursday, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays. And I'm just gonna say,
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: I don't know if I'm gonna get the rules done,
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: but this.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Is how I want to They're playing football on Fridays.
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: Now, well, you know they're gonna have some games late
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: on the season. They're gonna have it on Fridays. But
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: don't worry about it, uncle, This is all I want now.
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: Rule number one.
- 1:07:55Speaker 10: Whatever's wrong, it will not get fixed between the hours
- 1:07:58Speaker 10: of one and ten pm.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: They will not.
- 1:08:02Speaker 10: Oh this is just these the rules. Yeah, I don't
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: care what's bro I don't care if the bed ain't made,
- 1:08:07Speaker 10: the trash ain't taking out. I don't care if we
- 1:08:10Speaker 10: have an argument. Football is on one to ten. Check
- 1:08:13Speaker 10: me at eleven.
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: I don't know what we're gonna do between one and ten.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: Number two.
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: If you're gonna watch the game, know the teams. This
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: ain't the blue team.
- 1:08:24Speaker 10: Versus the Green team. That's not who's playing. You need
- 1:08:27Speaker 10: to know the teams that's on the field. That's not
- 1:08:30Speaker 10: who that is. That's the Giants and the Jets. That
- 1:08:32Speaker 10: is not what's happening here. We need to know the team.
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: Here's another one.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: If I'm watching the.
- 1:08:37Speaker 10: Game between one and ten, could you please take your
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: conversations to another part of the house.
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: I don't need just laughing in hear Why the game
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: going onf girl?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: You crazy?
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: God?
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Shut up? Girl?
- 1:08:49Speaker 11: What No?
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: I can't because I can't sit up here and do this.
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: I can't watch the game under this conditions.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: But I can't talk in my own house.
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: You can talk.
- 1:08:58Speaker 10: That's why I said take it to another part I got.
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: I'm watching the game. How many rules you got, Junior?
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: These rules I have?
- 1:09:05Speaker 10: Okay, Now here's another one. Just because I go to
- 1:09:08Speaker 10: the bathroom, don't change the TV.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: I'm not gone long.
- 1:09:13Speaker 10: I don't like coming back in divorce court on. I
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: don't feel like any people we already married. Hell, we
- 1:09:18Speaker 10: don't need to see them chieve the game. It's more
- 1:09:21Speaker 10: TV's in here. There's more TV's in here, say the
- 1:09:24Speaker 10: only one.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: I don't like that.
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: Two don't ask me what the skull is because the
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: skull is on the TV.
- 1:09:31Speaker 10: If you look in the top right corner, there's this
- 1:09:33Speaker 10: little box it's got it's ten to seven, ten to seven,
- 1:09:38Speaker 10: that's the skull.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Just look up there.
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: What's the stuff?
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: I don't even know?
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: And quit saying stuff like uh uh, like could you
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: get the dough because I'm not.
- 1:09:50Speaker 7: Got another rule.
- 1:09:51Speaker 10: We're not asking the dough between one and ten whoever,
- 1:09:53Speaker 10: and you shouldn't need to whoever at the dough probably
- 1:09:56Speaker 10: gonna go away because ain't nobody coming. So don't just
- 1:10:00Speaker 10: some rules I have for this NFL upcoming season. We're
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: not gonna do this this year.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: We're not doing that.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: We got it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Go ahead, hey man, So when you going to share
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: these rules with her?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I'm not.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: I just said I'm on the radio.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Okay, Oh that was just for us.
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: You thought I will actually say this hill somebody, thank you.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: It's smart not to say it. Coming up at the
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: top of the hour, Steve, a lady that works with
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: her lover needs some advice. H right after this, you're
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: listening morning show. This one is from val in, Oklahoma City.
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: Steve.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: She says, I dated a guy that I work with.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: He got married while we were still in a relationship.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: I found out the week of his wedding, and he
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: told me that I was special and the sex was amazing.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: But he's always been in love with his wife, he said.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: He said it like it was nothing. I don't see
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: how he could possibly love another woman besides me, based
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: on the things we did together and how compatible we are.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: I have to see him every day at work, and
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: he speaks and keeps going. I feel like I lost
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: my best friend. How could he move on without a conscience?
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Oh your self? God, what do you mean? How can
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: he move on like he don't have a conscience?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what she wants.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: He speaks.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: That's something.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: What's up?
- 1:11:35Speaker 9: He speaks.
- 1:11:36Speaker 8: That means that he's consciously aware that you are there,
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: that's all. But he told you you were special and
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: your sex was amazing.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: That's that's it. Thank you, that's it. It ain't no
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: more you amazing. But I love huddle.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Married her. Yeah, that's cold. That's hard to hear.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: See, y'all got to quit thinking. Because you got some
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: good cookie. It's a whole lot of good cookies.
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: He can't send these long the dunes. Yeah, keep it,
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: keep it, keep it, make a slew of good cookies.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Yeah, she says, she feels like she lost her best friend.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: You're just she'd getting a job, look at him every day.
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: She just went too far with it. She got that
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: love thing wrapped up in and now now now she
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: just messed it off. It was going, it was going fine,
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: it really was. It was really for him, for him,
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: it was going for him. Uh, he had the best
- 1:12:48Speaker 5: of both worlds, sir, She knew them both worlds existed.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: She knew that.
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: Yeah, no, I don't think according to the letter she
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: found the week up of his wedding. Yeah, well, at
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: least you found out, you know, at least.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: You found out.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: We have time for another one, because I'm gonna give
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: on this when I see you coming, all right, moving on, Steve,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: we have time for another one. This is from Shondalin
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: in Brooklyn. Chonlan says, I've been divorced for twelve years
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: and one of my friends told me that she slept
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: with my husband while we were separated, right before the divorce.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: My ex husband said it's true. He said he had
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: sex with another friend of mine, just to be spiteful.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: He wouldn't tell me who it was, So I pulled
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: away from my four closest friends. It makes me think
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I'm the problem. Why would two of my friends betray me?
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: Well, first of all, you gotta ask yourself this question.
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: Why would your husband tell you that?
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah? How does she find out about the first one?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Her? One of the friends told, one of her friends
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: told her, and then the husband confirmed it.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I did it.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: He's spiteful.
- 1:14:08Speaker 5: He said, you need girlfriends.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: She pulled away.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: Well, well you need a new husband too.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: They're divorced.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Oh oh well yeah, yeah, yeah, you need your new friends, lady.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, well she did. She pulled it. She said,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: she's pulled away from her friends. She just wants to
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: know why would her friends betray her like that? Because
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: they're sorry?
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, but you know that.
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: That's what adversity does. It points out things to you
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: that you need to know, that you need to know
- 1:14:47Speaker 8: so you can go on and grow. Sometimes, man, you
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: got to have things happen in your life that exposes people,
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: and betrayal is a good thing to find out. So now,
- 1:14:57Speaker 8: moving forward, when you get more and God get you
- 1:15:00Speaker 8: closer to where you want to be and what you
- 1:15:02Speaker 8: are what he has for you. He removes betraying people
- 1:15:06Speaker 8: from your life, and it's a good time to get
- 1:15:08Speaker 8: rid of mine. Glue to nobody. Yeah, I'm tinking you
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: go to whooped somebody as.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: All right, thank you coming up for this ignorant show.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening morning show. All right, guys.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: In sad news, the legendary Phil Donahue, who blades the
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: trail for daytime talk shows, has passed away. He was
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: eighty eight. He had a lengthy illness. He has survived
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: by his wife of forty four years, Marlow Thomas, remember
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: her from that Girl. Donahue was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Steve.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: He was the first.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, he was the first to cover controversial topics and
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: allow his audience to participate as he walked around handing
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: them his microphone. At its peak, who had nine million
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: viewers per day down and he retired back in nineteen
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: ninety six after doing his syndicated talk show for twenty
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: nine years. Wow love dude, man, Yeah.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: Man, Yeah he was.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: He was the best.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: H dude, call her you say yeah, you say what?
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: I love it?
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Yeah? He was great.
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: No, open, Shelley, Let's move on. Because you don't do
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: more than real well, because you crasty. You're gonna kill
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: off a family member if we leave yourself. You know,
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: Thomas ain't doing good either.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Come on, baby, love Jill, Johnny, love him. All right,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour. But anything
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: was he special to you, Steve? Did you watch the
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: show and all that?
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: Yeah? I mean, no more special than nobody else for y'all.
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: I mean I never met him. I didn't know him
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: personally anything.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: I just admire. I thought he was great.
- 1:17:01Speaker 8: I liked him cool too, just a good pain great Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: never met him though.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: All right, all right, coming up at thirty three minutes after,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: we'll play around. I would you rather right after this
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: you're listening hard Morning Show, it's time for a round
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: of would you rather Steve Harvey? You ready?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Would you rather have gray nose hairs sticking out? Or
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: would you rather have gray hair sticking out of your ears?
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: And you got to give it a both of them thought, yes,
- 1:17:30Speaker 8: if you want to look old, get some gray nose hair.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: And you want to look old, let some earstar ear
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: hair go up and grow and get bushy. I don't
- 1:17:43Speaker 8: know why people don't. Man, they got that little thing
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: you can buy anywhere. Yeah, I got know that little
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: thing that go in a circle. You gotta do that, man, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: you have to be talking to people.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Just be looking old and.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's all you see. You don't even know
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: what they're saying.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: But man, you ain't even listening, right, all right?
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Would you rather have X ray vision or would you
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: rather you can hear a pin drop? You see?
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: Yeah, I want ray vision. I won't Yeah, damn pin drop.
- 1:18:21Speaker 8: I'm getting no ship, good point.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Everything.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Would you rather have sex covered in hot sauce or
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: would you rather have sex covered in ranch dressing? Which one?
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Oh, I can't get that hot sauce in here? No,
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: hell no, hell no, you better get that wrench. I
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: want that ranch. I can have rench. I never have
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: ranch again after that.
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: But we cannot have hot sauces.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: That ain't gonna work out for nobody.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Would you rather travel in a covered wagon a covered wagon?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Or would you rather travel in a car with your ex? Jr?
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: Oh, we on this wagon I'm talking about. We pull
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: it over. We're camping out, don't rolling.
- 1:19:14Speaker 13: Rolling rolling, Keep those doggies rolling, rolling, rolling, rolling, roll high.
- 1:19:25Speaker 13: Round him up, Get him up, Get up, Come.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: On now here.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: So you're in a covered wagon with horses, but not
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: a nice car.
- 1:19:34Speaker 8: Oh yeah, with a with a with a with a
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: with a cast iron skill it in the back, and
- 1:19:40Speaker 8: a regular ass pot of coffee smashing the beans up
- 1:19:44Speaker 8: on the on the rock making ground coffee.
- 1:19:47Speaker 9: Hell yeah.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, ball and seaweed yeah, I mean tumbleweed. Yeah yeah.
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: I'm with Little Joe Hoss and Adam Crutt right right
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: there on that way, yeah, canz yes, yeah.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: All right. Would you rather eat the same thing every
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: day forever? Or would you rather wear the same thing?
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: If you wear the same thing, you ain't eat nowhere?
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: No damn.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: Eat the same thing, same meal every day.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: That ain't no fun.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: All right, that's today's rounded, would you rather? Guys? Coming
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: up next to our last break of the day, and
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: we'll close out the show with the one and only
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening Morning show? All right, guys,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day. We want
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: to say thanks to d n C Chairman Jamie Harrison
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: for being our special guest today. He was fantastic. He
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: was really really good. He brought that energy from the
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: convention right here to the show exactly Steve.
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: You know, and folks, it's a clear difference between these
- 1:21:02Speaker 8: two candidates. I don't understand what people are seeing in it,
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: because Donald Trump is not concerned about you as a
- 1:21:13Speaker 8: regular person. He is concerned about the people who are
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: making donations to his campaign, who are rich, rich people,
- 1:21:23Speaker 8: because they know he's going to pass the policies that
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: will allow him to have more tax write offs and
- 1:21:30Speaker 8: things like that. They don't care nothing else about that.
- 1:21:33Speaker 8: That's all they want is to be able to jump
- 1:21:36Speaker 8: through these tax loopholes so they can keep more money.
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: They have no policy that's designed to help the common man.
- 1:21:44Speaker 8: They gonna cut medicaid, all of that stuff. Man, Just
- 1:21:50Speaker 8: look at him. They've already they've already cut out what
- 1:21:57Speaker 8: am I trying to say, affirmative action. Yeah, they're erasing DEI,
- 1:22:02Speaker 8: diversity of equity and inclusion, equity and inclusion. They're taking
- 1:22:07Speaker 8: black history out of schools. Their objective is to make
- 1:22:12Speaker 8: America great again. And in order to make it again,
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: you have got to go back. That's why I'm so
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: happy with the Democrats new policy of we are not
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: going back, No man, we got to move forward. Anytime
- 1:22:25Speaker 8: you see somebody talking about taking it back to the
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: good old days, you have to first ask yourself for
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: whom is this going to be the good old days for?
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: Because I can think of no period in my past
- 1:22:40Speaker 8: that was better than my now. I just don't I
- 1:22:43Speaker 8: don't want to go back to the sixties. I don't
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: want to do that.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: I don't want to go back to the seventies, the eighties,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: the nineties. The truth. I don't want to go back
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: make America great again? For who blacks for? Trump?
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: Show me anything Trump has done for blacks. Now, I
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: can show you some things he's done to blacks. I
- 1:23:07Speaker 8: don't know why you all keep ignoring the fact that
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: him and his father was taken to court and lost
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: because they were discriminating against black people trying to get
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: housing in New York. I don't know why you're ignoring that.
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: I don't know why when he wanted to take out
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: when he took out a full as full page ad
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: to convict those five brothers for raping the white woman
- 1:23:34Speaker 8: in Central Park, and they were innocent, he had convicted
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: and condemned them before the trial and wanted them to
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: burn at the stake. These young men were innocent. Their
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: lives were forever altered because of this. He that was
- 1:23:52Speaker 8: Donald Trump. Those were black people. If you look at
- 1:23:57Speaker 8: every time he has an opportunity, every black reporter that
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: stands up at the White House a pressed day and
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: ask a question, he insults them.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: He doesn't like any of them, talks about how ignorant.
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: They are, how evil they are, how nasty they were,
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: had the nerve to insult the system that was in it.
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: Interviewing him at the NAJB National Association of Black Journalists BJ,
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: you gotta be kidney man, what are we looking at here?
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: What are we looking at?
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: I've been nothing but impressed by Madame Vice President Kamala
- 1:24:36Speaker 8: Harris's demeanor so far.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: Now is she perfect? No, she isn't. But let me
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: tell you what.
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: She might not be perfect, but she a whole lot
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: more together than your alternative. It's only two choices on
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: this ticket. It's Trump and it's Harris, and you get
- 1:24:56Speaker 8: to pick who you think is the better person for
- 1:24:59Speaker 8: this country to represent it. And morals should come into play.
- 1:25:04Speaker 8: Credibility to come into pay. Honesty should come into play.
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: You should want a person man in office that you
- 1:25:11Speaker 8: could say, hey, that's the president.
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: What is this feling stuff for? I don't what are
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: y'all talking about.
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: Do you understand that you can't get a job at
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: the post office if you are feeling hell in state
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: downstates where you can't vote, if you are feeling how
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: the hell can you be a felon and be in
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: the White House. It don't make no sense. We are
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: so so hypocritical in this country. Y'all got the nerd
- 1:25:45Speaker 8: to be talking about. Y'all's that constitution, that piece of
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: paper admit amended so many times, and it needs a
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: whole lot more amendan too, if you want to know
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: the truth about it. Now, let me tell you about
- 1:25:58Speaker 8: that piece of paper they keep waving in our face
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: talking about we honored the constitution. That constitution used to
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: didn't let women vote, That constitution didn't let black people vote.
- 1:26:08Speaker 8: That same constitution had it written in there that the
- 1:26:11Speaker 8: negro was three fifths of a human being. That was
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: in that same piece of paper. Now y'all want to
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: do all these amendments and all of that, y'all, man,
- 1:26:20Speaker 8: you gonna miss me with that. Y'all go ahead on,
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: y'all can take that. That's why. And then people get
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: mad why the NBA players don't hold they hand over
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: their heart when the national anthem is playing? What they standing?
- 1:26:33Speaker 8: They standing there, They not kneeling, they standing while they
- 1:26:36Speaker 8: hands behind their back. Would you put your hand over
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: your heart if the flag that was playing treated you
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: the way they treated you? No, we not singing the
- 1:26:48Speaker 8: song until you treat us like Americans. This is how
- 1:26:52Speaker 8: we this is how we acted. Ladies and gentlemen. About
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: to get out of here, but I would love to
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: say happy twentieth anniversary to Collar and Tosh pharail up
- 1:27:02Speaker 8: in the building.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: Twenty years in the building.

- 1:27:07Speaker 8: I don't want congratulations, Tosh, I don't know how you
