- 0:00Speaker 1: That innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago, many years ago,
- 0:04Speaker 1: and they're you know, highly respected bankers and lawyers and others.
- 0:08Speaker 1: What this whole thing is with Epstein is a way
- 0:11Speaker 1: of trying to deflect from the tremendous success that the
- 0:13Speaker 1: Republican Party has, Like, for instance, today we're building the
- 0:16Speaker 1: biggest ships in the world, most powerful ships in the world,
- 0:19Speaker 1: and they're asking me questions about Jeffrey Epstein's I thought
- 0:22Speaker 1: that was finished.
- 0:23Speaker 2: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:26Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Good Tuesday morning, so nice to have you with us.
- 0:30Speaker 3: On the forty seven Morning Update, Donald Trump comes out
- 0:33Speaker 3: with a big announcement a new golden fleet of battleships,
- 0:37Speaker 3: saying these will be the best in the world and
- 0:40Speaker 3: they will bring jobs back to America. That's not all
- 0:44Speaker 3: the President covered. He also covered narco terrorism, Venezuela and
- 0:48Speaker 3: what country could be our next target. I have the
- 0:51Speaker 3: full breakdown for you. It's the forty seven Morning Update
- 0:54Speaker 3: and it starts right now.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 0:57Speaker 3: President Donald Trump speaking from marl talking about building our
- 1:02Speaker 3: military new ships that our military desperately needs, and not
- 1:06Speaker 3: just talking about that, but clearly being the most transparent
- 1:10Speaker 3: president in modern political history. At a more than fifty
- 1:15Speaker 3: minute press conference, the President took questions about building the
- 1:19Speaker 3: new Golden Fleet, about the Golden Fleet, counters with China,
- 1:24Speaker 3: intercepting drugs on land, and what could happen with possible
- 1:28Speaker 3: attacks on land, what he was going to do with
- 1:31Speaker 3: the seized oil of oil tankers coming out of Venezuela
- 1:34Speaker 3: and the Black Fleet of oil tankers that also deal
- 1:37Speaker 3: with Iran. He also was asked about Venezuela and US
- 1:41Speaker 3: oil companies working together, and he was asked about Bill
- 1:45Speaker 3: Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein a workforce to build the Golden
- 1:49Speaker 3: Fleet that will help American workers. The endgame with Maduro
- 1:53Speaker 3: was also covered. He was asked about Colombia and the
- 1:56Speaker 3: president there and could that be next after Venezuela up
- 2:00Speaker 3: and a new envoy to Greenland. He was asked about
- 2:03Speaker 3: the war with Ukraine and Russia. Had he spoken with
- 2:07Speaker 3: Vladimir putter Zelenski recently and what do they say? And
- 2:11Speaker 3: then the pursuit of other oil tankers came up, would
- 2:14Speaker 3: America continue to push forward with that? And is the
- 2:18Speaker 3: goal of Forstman Duro from power. He also talked about
- 2:22Speaker 3: healthcare insurers meetings and exactly what had happened there. Now
- 2:26Speaker 3: the President making it clear there is nothing he is
- 2:29Speaker 3: unwilling to discuss. There's no question that he is saying no,
- 2:34Speaker 3: I'm not going to answer that. This is part of
- 2:37Speaker 3: the President being the most transparent president in modern political history.
- 2:41Speaker 3: One of the big questions was about the Epstein files,
- 2:45Speaker 3: and there was an awful lot of pictures that came
- 2:47Speaker 3: out of a former president by the name of Bill
- 2:50Speaker 3: Clinton with Jeffrey Epstein. The President's response may be one
- 2:54Speaker 3: that will surprise you. I want you to hear what
- 2:56Speaker 3: he had to say.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Thinking, mister President, prized by the number of photos of
- 3:01Speaker 4: Bill Clinton and Epstein files, and you can you commit
- 3:04Speaker 4: to their poll and we used pride in the number
- 3:07Speaker 4: of photos of Bill Clinton in the Epstein files, and
- 3:10Speaker 4: can you commit to their full release By the end
- 3:12Speaker 4: of the year, some of the victims were protesting that
- 3:14Speaker 4: too many of them were retacted.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I know there are a lot of people that are
- 3:17Speaker 1: angry about all of the pictures of other people, you know,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but I think it's terrible. Look, I don't like the
- 3:24Speaker 1: I like Bill Clinton. I've always gotten along with Bill Clinton.
- 3:27Speaker 1: They've been nice to him, He's been nice to me.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We've always gotten along respect him. I hate to see
- 3:32Speaker 1: photos come out of him, but this is what the Democrats,
- 3:35Speaker 1: mostly Democrats, and a couple of bad Republicans, are asking for.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So they give me their photos of me too. Everybody
- 3:41Speaker 1: was friendly with this guy, either friendly or not friendly.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But then you know he was around. He was all
- 3:45Speaker 1: over Palm Beach and other places. The head of Harvard
- 3:48Speaker 1: was his best friends Larry Summers, and Bill Clint was
- 3:51Speaker 1: a friend of his, but everybody was I actually threw
- 3:54Speaker 1: him out of mare A Lago. And as if you know,
- 3:57Speaker 1: as a person that was in Maralago, throw them at
- 4:00Speaker 1: mar A Lagos. This is mar Alago. It's the hottest place,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and I think it's the hardest place in the world.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But it's the hottest place in Florida, and everybody would
- 4:09Speaker 1: come here. He'd come here. We actually threw them out.
- 4:11Speaker 1: But no, I don't like the pictures of Bill Clinton
- 4:14Speaker 1: being shown. I don't like the pictures of other people
- 4:16Speaker 1: being shown. I think it's a terrible thing. I think
- 4:20Speaker 1: Bill Linton's a big boy, he can handle it. But
- 4:23Speaker 1: you probably have pictures being exposed of other people that
- 4:27Speaker 1: innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago, many years ago, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: they're you know, highly respected bankers and lawyers and others,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and they'll end up because of guys like Massw's a
- 4:39Speaker 1: real low life whose polls are down to about nine percent.
- 4:42Speaker 1: By the way, the great state of Kentucky, if you
- 4:44Speaker 1: look at Kentucky, Kentucky is such a great place, but
- 4:49Speaker 1: I don't know, they've got a couple of people in
- 4:52Speaker 1: there that are very strange in terms of leadership. With
- 4:55Speaker 1: Massey's a loser and he likes it, and that he
- 4:58Speaker 1: works with the Democrats. He's being used by the Democrats
- 5:02Speaker 1: because what this whole thing is with Epstein is a
- 5:05Speaker 1: way of trying to deflect from the tremendous success that
- 5:07Speaker 1: the Republican Party has, Like, for instance, today we're building
- 5:11Speaker 1: the biggest ships in the world, most powerful ships in
- 5:13Speaker 1: the world, and they're asking me questions about Jeffrey Epstein.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I thought that was finished. I believe they gave over
- 5:20Speaker 1: one hundred thousand pages of documents and there is tremendous
- 5:24Speaker 1: back list. It's an interesting question because a lot of
- 5:27Speaker 1: people are very angry that pictures are being released of
- 5:31Speaker 1: other people that really had nothing to do with Epstein,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but they're in a picture with him because he was
- 5:34Speaker 1: at a party, and you ruin a reputation of somebody.
- 5:39Speaker 1: So a lot of people are very angry that this continues.
- 5:42Speaker 1: A lot of Republicans are angry because of the fact
- 5:44Speaker 1: that it's just used to deflect against the tremendous success.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Look, we have eight the president talking about those tremendous
- 5:51Speaker 3: successes and yet again having to deal with the Epstein
- 5:54Speaker 3: files that have been released. The President wanting to talk
- 5:58Speaker 3: about other issues as well. One of the things he
- 6:01Speaker 3: talked about is about American investment. This is one of
- 6:06Speaker 3: the things he says is really important that he's working on.
- 6:10Speaker 1: We're doing a great job and we enjoy doing it.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Our border is secure, our country is strong. Trillions of
- 6:17Speaker 1: dollars is coming into our country from other countries and companies.
- 6:21Speaker 1: They're building factories and plants, including auto plants, all over
- 6:25Speaker 1: the United States of America. Without tariffs, they wouldn't be
- 6:28Speaker 1: doing anything. Although they were very happy with the November
- 6:31Speaker 1: fifth election, but it's only because they want to avoid
- 6:34Speaker 1: paying tariffs that they're all coming in. And again, the
- 6:36Speaker 1: biggest number was three trillion dollars in history. That was
- 6:40Speaker 1: China many years ago. Now it's eighteen trillion dollars and
- 6:45Speaker 1: that's just in ten months. We think we could hit
- 6:47Speaker 1: twenty trillion dollars. That's investment in the United States, including
- 6:51Speaker 1: plant and equipment.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So you listen to the present talk about the investment.
- 6:57Speaker 3: He also talked about protecting Americans when it comes to drugs.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Something else that he says a very important point of
- 7:04Speaker 3: his administration and it's something that we must stand firm on.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Part of that is dealing with the cocaine coming out
- 7:12Speaker 3: of Colombia. The President asked about Colombia and here's what
- 7:16Speaker 3: he said, Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Go ahead, please.
- 7:19Speaker 5: So, in response to the United States taking sanction oil
- 7:23Speaker 5: from from Venezuela, Colombian President of Gustavo Petro criticize the
- 7:27Speaker 5: United States by saying, well, the Southwest is stolen land
- 7:29Speaker 5: and that it should be returned to Latin America. I
- 7:31Speaker 5: just wanted to know what your response to that.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Well, he has to watch because you know, he's got
- 7:35Speaker 1: drug factors. They make cocaine in Colombia, and he's no
- 7:40Speaker 1: friend of the United States. He's very bad, very bad guy,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and he's got to watch his ass because he makes
- 7:47Speaker 1: cocaine and they send it into the United States of
- 7:49Speaker 1: America from Colombia. We love the Colombian people. I love
- 7:54Speaker 1: the Colombian people. They're great people, energetic, smart, great But
- 7:58Speaker 1: their new leader he is a trouble banker and he
- 8:02Speaker 1: better watch it. You better close up those cocaine factories.
- 8:05Speaker 1: If at least three major cocaine factories we know where
- 8:09Speaker 1: they are, he better close them up fast.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Ye, he better closed them up fast. The President also
- 8:16Speaker 3: wasn't done there as he talked about this major important
- 8:20Speaker 3: announcement that deals with the Golden Fleet of battleships, saying
- 8:25Speaker 3: these are the best in the world and long overdue.
- 8:29Speaker 1: So I want to wish everybody a big hello and
- 8:31Speaker 1: merry Christmas, and welcome to mar A Lago for this
- 8:35Speaker 1: exciting announcement of the new Golden Fleet. We're going at
- 8:39Speaker 1: the Golden Fleet that we're building for the United States Navy.
- 8:43Speaker 1: As you know, we're desperately in need of ships. Our
- 8:45Speaker 1: ships are some of them have gotten old and tired
- 8:49Speaker 1: and obsolete, and we're going to go to the exact
- 8:52Speaker 1: opposite direction. We're delighted to be joined by Secretary of war.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Pete Hegsath is doing a fantastic job. And Secretary of
- 8:59Speaker 1: the Navy John Falen Marco Rubio is here who gave
- 9:04Speaker 1: a great few words for the end of last week.
- 9:08Speaker 1: He spoke for a couple of hours on what a
- 9:12Speaker 1: good job we're doing, which is true. As Commander in Chief,
- 9:16Speaker 1: it's my great honor to announce that I have approved
- 9:19Speaker 1: a plan for the Navy to begin the construction of
- 9:22Speaker 1: two brand new, very large, the largest we've ever built battleships.
- 9:28Speaker 1: You know, you used to build the Iowa, the Missouri,
- 9:33Speaker 1: the Wisconsin, the Alabama, and many others. We had big battleships.
- 9:37Speaker 1: These are bigger, but they will have one hundred times
- 9:41Speaker 1: There will be one hundred times the force, the power,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and there's never been anything like these ships. These have
- 9:51Speaker 1: been under design consideration for a long time, and it
- 9:56Speaker 1: started with me in my first term because they said,
- 9:59Speaker 1: why aren't we doing battleships like we used to? And
- 10:02Speaker 1: the these are the best in the world, will be
- 10:06Speaker 1: the fastest, the biggest, and by far one hundred times
- 10:09Speaker 1: more powerful than any battleship ever built. So if you
- 10:13Speaker 1: look at the Iowa, the Missouri, Wisconsin, Alabama, and others,
- 10:17Speaker 1: but there they were similar in size, some a little
- 10:21Speaker 1: bit bigger than the others, but if you take the
- 10:23Speaker 1: biggest one, it's one hundred times more powerful. They are
- 10:28Speaker 1: longer by a little bit, but the and the bigger
- 10:33Speaker 1: they're bigger ships, but they hold much more. They use
- 10:36Speaker 1: the word lethality. Battleships are the largest, sturdiest, and most
- 10:41Speaker 1: heavily armed vessel built specifically for naval combat. While America
- 10:47Speaker 1: has built many new warships over the years, they've been
- 10:50Speaker 1: they've tended to be smaller and much smaller, and not
- 10:56Speaker 1: conducive to where we are and where we going. Piece restraint.
- 11:02Speaker 3: President Trump yet again saying a I'll talk about anything.
- 11:06Speaker 3: B I'm gonna keep you safe. See, I'm gonna make
- 11:09Speaker 3: sure that we bring jobs back to this country. Making
- 11:14Speaker 3: this fleet be built in America, something we stopped doing,
- 11:18Speaker 3: and we're far too reliant on foreign countries for our
- 11:22Speaker 3: ship making. This is all part of his plan to
- 11:25Speaker 3: put America first and from a national security standpoint, and
- 11:29Speaker 3: the President saying I'll stand here and answer as many
- 11:32Speaker 3: questions as I need to. It's important that you have
- 11:35Speaker 3: a president that's transparent, and that is exactly what Donald
- 11:38Speaker 3: Trump did yet again on a multitude of issues.
