- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in it shoves me. Good to mother,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta turn you're going. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn. You haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out to turn the water. The water
- 1:48Speaker 1: got come Come on your fad uh huh. I shore
- 2:02Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, I'll do, man, God is good.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Hey today, I just want to get right to it
- 2:16Speaker 1: because this has really been pressing me. I woke up
- 2:20Speaker 1: and this was on my mind and I wanted to
- 2:22Speaker 1: share it with you because I know this for a fact.
- 2:26Speaker 1: See I've lived this for a fact. And you know
- 2:32Speaker 1: the majority of things I talk about in the morning
- 2:36Speaker 1: before we get started with the regular show, it's something
- 2:40Speaker 1: that I've experienced. I can only tell you what I know.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And so I really really understood why God has had
- 2:48Speaker 1: my life go the way that is gone, because if
- 2:52Speaker 1: I didn't have all these tests in my life, I
- 2:54Speaker 1: didn't have all these tests that I passed all these
- 2:58Speaker 1: tests that I failed. If I didn't have all of those,
- 3:04Speaker 1: the good and the bad, what could I share with
- 3:08Speaker 1: you in the morning? What could I tell you about hanging?
- 3:14Speaker 1: What could I tell you about failing and then winning?
- 3:18Speaker 1: What could I tell you about hanging in now when
- 3:21Speaker 1: all hope was gone? How could I share that with you?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Unless I've had those moments myself. I don't care what
- 3:30Speaker 1: happens to you. I don't care what you're going through.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare give up? Under no circumstances. Don't
- 3:43Speaker 1: you dare dare ever give up? It is the biggest
- 3:49Speaker 1: trick that the enemy has is making us think we
- 3:55Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it, to water down the illusion that
- 4:01Speaker 1: there is a possibility that you might still have a
- 4:06Speaker 1: chance to get over. The biggest trick he uses is
- 4:10Speaker 1: when you make a mistake and you fall. He gets
- 4:13Speaker 1: you to start to thinking it's final, that there is
- 4:17Speaker 1: no resurrection, there is no redemption, there is no recovery.
- 4:22Speaker 1: He just makes you think it's final. He is the
- 4:26Speaker 1: master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up? I
- 4:31Speaker 1: don't care what besets you, befalls you, trips you up,
- 4:36Speaker 1: What circumstantial situations may arise. Don't you dare dare ever
- 4:41Speaker 1: give up? Because listen to me, these are tests that
- 4:46Speaker 1: you are going through. And these tests, whether you pass
- 4:51Speaker 1: the test or appears that you failed the test, the
- 4:55Speaker 1: test accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it. If
- 5:01Speaker 1: you pass the test. Let's say you're going through a
- 5:05Speaker 1: situation and you get over and it goes the way
- 5:08Speaker 1: you want it to do, then what you've learned is
- 5:11Speaker 1: if you hang in there, there's a light at the
- 5:15Speaker 1: end of the tunnel. Okay, mission accomplished. If you fail
- 5:20Speaker 1: the test and it doesn't go the way you want
- 5:24Speaker 1: it and it goes there will opposite and it turns
- 5:27Speaker 1: out into a negative result. And in response you were
- 5:30Speaker 1: looking for is a no. That's not final. That doesn't
- 5:37Speaker 1: mean it's over, That doesn't mean it's time to turn back.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It simply means that now you have learned a valuable experience,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you have learned a valuable lesson. You now know what
- 5:53Speaker 1: not to do. You are now because you know what
- 5:57Speaker 1: not to do, another up closer to getting it right.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Listen to me, it has to happen this way. You
- 6:08Speaker 1: have to have the rain in your life to get
- 6:11Speaker 1: the flowers in your life. You got to have the
- 6:15Speaker 1: darkness in your life to appreciate the sunshine in your life.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You got to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It is merely a test. So when you get through failing,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and you get through stumbling, and you get through messing
- 6:37Speaker 1: it up, all that's getting you one step closer to
- 6:42Speaker 1: getting it right. Oh, my relationship ended. I'll never be
- 6:46Speaker 1: able to find another person like that. Not only will
- 6:49Speaker 1: you not be able will not only will you be
- 6:52Speaker 1: able to find a person like that, You can find
- 6:56Speaker 1: a person that far better than that if you don't
- 7:01Speaker 1: give up. But see, sometimes you got to go through
- 7:04Speaker 1: the bad ones to get to the good ones. Don't you? Dare?
- 7:08Speaker 1: Dare ever give up? I don't care what happens to
- 7:12Speaker 1: you if you lose a love one. And Lord knows,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I've lost some people I've loved dearly with every inch
- 7:21Speaker 1: in me. I've lost my mother, my father, my brother,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and my best friend. I don't know. I know people
- 7:31Speaker 1: who have lost their children. Goodness, man, I can't even
- 7:36Speaker 1: imagine that, but they kept on going. What you're giving
- 7:41Speaker 1: up for? Oh? I got you, miss them, and I
- 7:45Speaker 1: got you grieving, But I got news for you. Don't
- 7:48Speaker 1: you let the devil make you think it's over for
- 7:50Speaker 1: you because somebody else ain't still here. It was their time. Now.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I'm not trying to lessen to blow for you, but
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to get you up on your feet so
- 8:00Speaker 1: you can stop all this old woe is me because
- 8:02Speaker 1: the things is happening to you. You're not the first
- 8:04Speaker 1: person that's happened to Come on, now, let's get a grip.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's wrap your mind around this thing. You have got
- 8:11Speaker 1: to move forward, if it's just in memory of those people.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I was on one of the commercial breaks the other
- 8:17Speaker 1: day and somebody asked me something and I forgot the question,
- 8:21Speaker 1: but my answer was, I always wanted my mother and
- 8:24Speaker 1: father to be proud of me, and in that absence
- 8:28Speaker 1: and their demise, I'm hoping, just somehow man that they
- 8:33Speaker 1: watching me, that they see their boy, that I'm down here,
- 8:37Speaker 1: that I'm doing better, that I'm making something about myself,
- 8:42Speaker 1: that I'm loving my wife, that I'm taking care of
- 8:44Speaker 1: my kids. Just at my old man to see that
- 8:47Speaker 1: about me. You know, I want my mother to see
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to give my life together over here. You
- 8:54Speaker 1: know saying I'm trying to be a better person. My
- 8:56Speaker 1: mom was a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She'd
- 8:58Speaker 1: been praying for me for a long time. I just hope, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and that's all I'm doing. It's just hoping that they
- 9:05Speaker 1: see me so they cain't be proud of me. See you, you, you,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you you. You got to understand that when you make
- 9:13Speaker 1: these mistakes, that when you fall and stumble and you
- 9:17Speaker 1: get it all so wrong, it ain't over for you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare dare ever? Give up? Don't stop thinking, man,
- 9:26Speaker 1: because it ain't happening just the way you wanted to
- 9:28Speaker 1: that it ain't meant to be devil. He got so
- 9:31Speaker 1: many tricks to deceive you. You know why you're being
- 9:34Speaker 1: tested right now, because there is no testimony without the test.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You got to go through something. It's all good man
- 9:44Speaker 1: telling you. I just wanted to share that with you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Don't you give up out there. I don't care what's happening.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Don't don't, don't don't get deceived. The victory's coming, but
- 9:53Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get it if you quit. Hang on, y'all,
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies, and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me

- 12:41Speaker 1: still is now. But back in the day, Gail was
- 12:43Speaker 1: Oprah's friends. So Oprah gave her a million dollars so
- 12:46Speaker 1: she could be a millionaire. Two remember that, I don't
- 12:49Speaker 1: feel that way like that. No, Well, junior, junior, me

- 14:02Speaker 1: how are you doing? Are you the um? Are you
- 14:04Speaker 1: the niece of of uh? Uh? I think it's ain't
- 14:11Speaker 1: ain't your aunt? Yes? Okay? And you you know now
- 14:15Speaker 1: your aunt passed away? How many how many years ago
- 14:17Speaker 1: y'all are passed? It was about five years ago? Okay, listen,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm over here at the funeral home. Uh my, my
- 14:25Speaker 1: my sister just passed away. And uh they gave me
- 14:29Speaker 1: your phone number, did you guys? We're going through a
- 14:32Speaker 1: little bit of a situation here, did you guys? Aren't
- 14:35Speaker 1: have you know your aunt was a heavy set woman.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Is that right? Okay? Now they had to did they
- 14:41Speaker 1: have to put her in a in a Did they
- 14:43Speaker 1: have a bill of a special casket for her? Yeah? Okay,
- 14:47Speaker 1: that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 14:50Speaker 1: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and uh, I'm assuming this is the same thing that
- 14:57Speaker 1: you guys went through. I've called several her children, but
- 15:01Speaker 1: I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody but
- 15:03Speaker 1: that the funeral home actually had your name on file
- 15:05Speaker 1: as well, so they gave me your number where I
- 15:08Speaker 1: will be able to talk to you. Is that is that? Okay? Yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 1: that's okay, you can speak to me, but you know,
- 15:14Speaker 1: let things to be a problem. Well, listen, the funeral
- 15:18Speaker 1: is actually in two days and we ordered one of
- 15:22Speaker 1: those special caskets, but it doesn't look like it's gonna
- 15:25Speaker 1: be in for another week. So you know, it's almost
- 15:29Speaker 1: like we're gonna we're gonna we're not gonna have a
- 15:30Speaker 1: casket for her, um, you know, for the funeral. And
- 15:35Speaker 1: you know, like I said, the funeral home told us
- 15:37Speaker 1: about you know that you guys were the last ones
- 15:39Speaker 1: that ordered a casket. Of that size, and you know,
- 15:43Speaker 1: me and the rest of the family has been you know,
- 15:45Speaker 1: we've been trying to figure out what to do and
- 15:46Speaker 1: what to do. Do you think it's any way possible
- 15:50Speaker 1: we can borrow the casket that your Ain't is in,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and then when the casket comes in that we ordered,
- 15:58Speaker 1: we can put her in that casket and put her
- 16:02Speaker 1: back down to rest like she's always been. Do you
- 16:04Speaker 1: think that's excuse me? Hello, hello, you repeat yourself? What
- 16:11Speaker 1: exactly are you asking me? Well, what I'm saying is,
- 16:14Speaker 1: do you think we can bar your ain't casket? Because
- 16:18Speaker 1: you know, the fuel is in two days and the
- 16:20Speaker 1: casket is not gonna be in in order for us
- 16:23Speaker 1: to be able to bury her in a in a casket,
- 16:25Speaker 1: for you know, to accommodate her size. That's what I'm asking.
- 16:29Speaker 1: What kind of that you're talking about? First of all,
- 16:32Speaker 1: who is this? Okay? No, my name is Larry, Like
- 16:35Speaker 1: I said, My name is Larry. I got you, I
- 16:37Speaker 1: got you guys. Like I said. I tried to call
- 16:40Speaker 1: some of her kids, but nobody ever picked up when
- 16:42Speaker 1: I called. Yet her niece's number on file too. You
- 16:47Speaker 1: you are her niece, Vicky, right? Yes, I am. Okay,
- 16:51Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. Do you think that maybe you
- 16:53Speaker 1: can talk to the children and see if we can
- 16:56Speaker 1: maybe use that particular casket? Okay? What in it? What
- 17:00Speaker 1: the talking about? This? Them? First of all, who who
- 17:03Speaker 1: is this you? You gotta be losing your mind if
- 17:06Speaker 1: you think I'm gonna let you dig up my any
- 17:09Speaker 1: for just to bury yourself. But I understand where you're
- 17:12Speaker 1: coming from. But what I'm trying to say is that
- 17:14Speaker 1: we don't have a casket big enough and they were.
- 17:16Speaker 1: They let us know that you guys were the last
- 17:18Speaker 1: ones that had a casket that you know I'm gonna
- 17:22Speaker 1: do with us? That's you don't trust to figure it out?
- 17:25Speaker 1: Have you? No? No? Well? Okay, First of all, what
- 17:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is this the family been grieving
- 17:31Speaker 1: pretty hard and I just wanted to make sure that
- 17:33Speaker 1: the funeral will be right. And it ain't gonna be right,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and we don't have that thing. My family gonna feel
- 17:39Speaker 1: digging any up you lost you? They don't call me
- 17:42Speaker 1: with this. Who is the funeral home that gave you
- 17:46Speaker 1: my number to ask me to use the casket so
- 17:50Speaker 1: you can bury your sister? Who is the name of
- 17:52Speaker 1: that person. I can't remember, but it was. It was
- 17:54Speaker 1: the guy. The funeral director let me know that you
- 17:57Speaker 1: guys had went through a situation where you had to
- 18:00Speaker 1: area your your your aunt. Like I said, I try
- 18:02Speaker 1: to call what's your name again? My name is Larry, Okay, Larry.
- 18:07Speaker 1: This is a This is a stupid I don't know
- 18:09Speaker 1: what give you my phone number to call me asking
- 18:12Speaker 1: you just dun't? Can't you believe they call her asking me? So?
- 18:16Speaker 1: Can they dig up a flaking bury? The faster? Here's
- 18:21Speaker 1: don't have a Cassie. Hello, No, no, what what's your fault? No?
- 18:25Speaker 1: I understand it's not your fault. What I'm trying to
- 18:28Speaker 1: say is what y'all show some sympathy and some love
- 18:31Speaker 1: for me and my family going through because we don't
- 18:34Speaker 1: have a casket like I say, my sister, my sister
- 18:36Speaker 1: was was you know if the heat was as good?
- 18:40Speaker 1: You know, my condoleses go out to you and your family.
- 18:43Speaker 1: You know, I'm trying to be as reserved as I
- 18:45Speaker 1: can with this whole situation. But do you understand what
- 18:49Speaker 1: kind of stupid you're asking me right now to actually
- 18:52Speaker 1: dig up my aunt? Whose army, who's been and what
- 18:54Speaker 1: out for fire years because bury your sister. Because let
- 19:00Speaker 1: me answer this, if this were you, you ain't ain't
- 19:05Speaker 1: gonna know, she ain't gonna know where you what that's
- 19:09Speaker 1: for you to say to me? Maybe that's what we
- 19:12Speaker 1: don't stupid? What you're talking? Are you smoking crack? What
- 19:17Speaker 1: don't know? I don't know more? First of all, you
- 19:20Speaker 1: know what I First of all, I appreciate you trying
- 19:22Speaker 1: to work with me, but I want to say it
- 19:24Speaker 1: is you. You don't even have the authority to make
- 19:26Speaker 1: that decision if you give me one of the numbers
- 19:29Speaker 1: to one of your customs. Because I was really trying
- 19:32Speaker 1: to be nice and be calmed. But guess what, we're
- 19:35Speaker 1: not doing this, stupid. I'm trying to be nice to
- 19:38Speaker 1: you and tell and trying to help you out, but no,
- 19:40Speaker 1: you want me to get ignorance and ask stupid with you.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I was trying to be nice and sympathetic, but we're
- 19:45Speaker 1: not doing it. I'm not giving you the number. I
- 19:47Speaker 1: got the authority to tell you right now. No, we're
- 19:51Speaker 1: not digging up so you can bury yourselfs fear. Okay,
- 19:55Speaker 1: so so so so so that's just it. I can't
- 19:57Speaker 1: talk to now that now you ain't I want to know,
- 20:00Speaker 1: but you talking to me? Okay, I got I got,
- 20:02Speaker 1: I got something else. I need to tell you though,

- 21:16Speaker 1: is from Jess in Hollywood, Florida. Steve It says, my
- 21:20Speaker 1: boyfriend and I are in our mid twenties, and sometimes
- 21:24Speaker 1: he is not able to perform unless he watches porn. First,
- 21:28Speaker 1: last night, we were being intimate and he was really
- 21:31Speaker 1: into it. Then he called me his ex girlfriend's name.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I didn't say anything because I didn't want him to stop.
- 21:37Speaker 1: It was his best for performance so far. Apparently thinking
- 21:41Speaker 1: about his ex girlfriend kept him in the mood. Do
- 21:44Speaker 1: you think he secretly still wants his ex or is
- 21:47Speaker 1: this just something that happens from time to time. Well,
- 21:51Speaker 1: I got a couple of ideas here from you said
- 21:54Speaker 1: that he only gets excited unless he's watching poorn. In
- 21:58Speaker 1: your twenties, that's dangerous. That's dangerous because I don't even
- 22:03Speaker 1: I very rarely hear that from a guy that young.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Very rarely do I hear that. So that's kind of
- 22:10Speaker 1: that's kind of odd right there, him calling and he
- 22:14Speaker 1: only gets excited. Now you're having your best performance, and
- 22:18Speaker 1: all of a sudden, he calls his ex girlfriend's name.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Now the question you need to find out is his
- 22:24Speaker 1: ex girlfriend a porn star has possibility written all over it.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Maybe she and one of them movies that getting real excited.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Other than that, I don't know how long you all
- 22:46Speaker 1: have been dating, and I don't know how long you
- 22:49Speaker 1: can continue to accept being called the other girl's name
- 22:53Speaker 1: that ain't. I don't know how long that's allowable. But
- 22:58Speaker 1: I think you should have bought it to his attention
- 23:01Speaker 1: so that he is aware of it and he can
- 23:03Speaker 1: start working on it if it's serious. But I don't
- 23:06Speaker 1: think y'all's relationship is gonna go nowhere, because if you
- 23:09Speaker 1: got to have porno to turn you on at in
- 23:12Speaker 1: your twenties, the rest of your sex years is shot, man,
- 23:19Speaker 1: damn dog, because in my twenties I needed nothing. I
- 23:22Speaker 1: just need it cool. Al yeah, if if just ready
- 23:28Speaker 1: just walking around, ready the wind blow either one of
- 23:31Speaker 1: these that right there, hot, this right here hot, don't matter.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I could okay from it. From Tony in New Jersey.
- 23:49Speaker 1: I have a problem with my lady friend. I'm a bodybuilder,
- 23:52Speaker 1: and I get a lot of women trying to holler
- 23:55Speaker 1: at me at my d in my d MS, and
- 23:57Speaker 1: they send lots of nude pictures. I'll show my lady
- 24:00Speaker 1: the pigs and we laugh at them together. I found
- 24:03Speaker 1: out the other day that my lady also gets new
- 24:06Speaker 1: pictures of men and her dms. She clicked on a
- 24:10Speaker 1: message by mistake and I saw the picture of a
- 24:12Speaker 1: naked man. She has never mentioned this to me, she said.
- 24:16Speaker 1: She hates the pics and she immediately deletes them. But
- 24:19Speaker 1: why does she keep it from me? Should I be concerned? Well?
- 24:23Speaker 1: You know what, dog? See Hold up now, when you
- 24:25Speaker 1: showing naked pictures y'all laughing? You know, so now all
- 24:30Speaker 1: of a sudden, this ain't funny to you no more?
- 24:33Speaker 1: See dog, you got to be careful what you introduce.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I don't know what your ass is showing your girl
- 24:39Speaker 1: naked pictures of other women fault. I really don't know, man.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I'm confused about that. Normally that you're you're inviting a
- 24:48Speaker 1: hailstorm into your house when you do that, So I
- 24:50Speaker 1: don't know what that was. But then she gets me
- 24:53Speaker 1: and sending her naked pictures too, But she ain't mentioned
- 24:57Speaker 1: it to you because guess why, because she knows. Look
- 25:02Speaker 1: at you didn't wrote a letter. See you see a
- 25:04Speaker 1: picture you're asked to wrote a letter? Y'all watching age?
- 25:07Speaker 1: You just keep kid, yeah, see pardner, So she already
- 25:11Speaker 1: know it's a problem and the bodybuilder. Come on, man,
- 25:16Speaker 1: come on, all right. See, yeah, it's it's it's it's
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's not a problem that she might be messing around.
- 25:22Speaker 1: But maybe she just didn't feel like dealing with this
- 25:25Speaker 1: because you don't wrote a letter into a national radio show.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You show her pictures, y'all just laugh. Anonymous in Tennessee writes,
- 25:33Speaker 1: I've been married for five years and my mother lives
- 25:36Speaker 1: with us. I'm a diabetic and I've been sick a
- 25:39Speaker 1: lot lately, so my mother has assumed the role as
- 25:42Speaker 1: my full time nurse and caregiver. This drives my wife crazy.
- 25:47Speaker 1: My mother told my wife that she's been taking care
- 25:49Speaker 1: of me all my life and it's not up for debate.
- 25:52Speaker 1: My wife isn't having it, and their constant arguing stresses
- 25:55Speaker 1: me out. My wife works long hours, and my mom
- 25:59Speaker 1: is here when my wife can't be. So in a way,
- 26:02Speaker 1: my mom is right. I'm stuck in the middle. Please help, No, no, no, no,
- 26:07Speaker 1: Your mom isn't right. No, she's not right. Your wife
- 26:12Speaker 1: is the queen of the castle. That can There's only
- 26:14Speaker 1: one queen in the castle. It might be some damsels,
- 26:18Speaker 1: it might be some some some other people at work,
- 26:21Speaker 1: but it's one queen, and your wife is being rooted
- 26:25Speaker 1: out by your mother, who's obviously taking some liberties with
- 26:30Speaker 1: you that your wife would like to be able to do.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Now the fact that you sick, Brod can't do nothing
- 26:36Speaker 1: about that? Feel for you. Uh, you know, I don't
- 26:39Speaker 1: know what you're proposed to say to somebody with diabetes.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't seeing condos? Okay, well you know,
- 26:48Speaker 1: I don't know what you say to people got diabetes.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I don't know what to say, not condolences. I don't
- 26:56Speaker 1: know what to say to him about the sins. But
- 27:01Speaker 1: your mother is not. She may have been taken care
- 27:04Speaker 1: of you your whole life, but this your wife. Dog,
- 27:07Speaker 1: See you said viles to your wife. Now, if your
- 27:10Speaker 1: mother's there because you can't provide for yourself, I don't
- 27:15Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but she lives with
- 27:18Speaker 1: y'all and it's creating a problem. She didn't marry you
- 27:21Speaker 1: to live with your mama. Now. I don't know how
- 27:23Speaker 1: sick you are, dog, But if your mother just over
- 27:27Speaker 1: there because she won't just keep eye on you and
- 27:29Speaker 1: check on you, then you gotta change your living arrangements now.
- 27:32Speaker 1: If you incapacitated in some way. Then your wife gonna
- 27:36Speaker 1: had to work with your mama a little bit better.
- 27:38Speaker 1: But your mamma gonna had to back up and let
- 27:40Speaker 1: your wife be the queen at the castle. Your wife
- 27:44Speaker 1: and dog. Now, you don't sleep with your mama, So
- 27:50Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around and here that in a minute. Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 1: we're going there and sleep with your mammy. You're gonna
- 27:56Speaker 1: fe me here that you're listening. All right, here we go.

- 28:50Speaker 1: lot of patient talking to him. But they say they
- 28:56Speaker 1: tried at home. They are protecting you for your house basically,
- 29:00Speaker 1: but you could go next go and do it at
- 29:02Speaker 1: somebody else's house. That's all that really means. This is
- 29:06Speaker 1: for me, though. I just want you to know, idiots
- 29:08Speaker 1: for me, how you're gonna have to try. They just
- 29:12Speaker 1: don't want you to do it at your house. Okay,

- 52:49Speaker 1: the air, just like we're gonna read this one. Yeah.
- 52:51Speaker 1: But your chances of it though, they're good, Okay, they

- 53:07Speaker 1: to a lot of them. All right, Hey, everybody's the times.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Time for the Strawberry Letter with my friends. Shirley Strong,
- 53:14Speaker 1: Thank you, junior. Subject is it so good that is
- 53:23Speaker 1: clouding my judgment? Dear Stephen, Shirley, I am a forty
- 53:27Speaker 1: three year old single mom of two. For the past year,
- 53:31Speaker 1: I have been seeing a nice forty three year old
- 53:34Speaker 1: gentleman that I met on the Plenty of Fish dating site.
- 53:38Speaker 1: When we met, I told him that I was ready
- 53:40Speaker 1: for a relationship, not just to hook up for sex.
- 53:44Speaker 1: He said, let's see where it goes. Two weeks later,
- 53:47Speaker 1: after talking on the phone, we finally met up and
- 53:51Speaker 1: we ended up having sex that first night. Darned Steve,
- 53:56Speaker 1: it was so good that I could not stop. We
- 54:00Speaker 1: continue to have sex at least once a week, and
- 54:02Speaker 1: he started staying overnight at my house. About six months later,
- 54:07Speaker 1: I asked him, so are we together? He said, no,
- 54:10Speaker 1: we're just friends. He told me that we should just
- 54:13Speaker 1: stop having sex and just be friends because I was
- 54:15Speaker 1: getting too emotionally attached to him. Not even a week
- 54:18Speaker 1: went by before he was back in my bed. The
- 54:21Speaker 1: sex is so darned good that I cannot stay away
- 54:25Speaker 1: from this man. But I really wanted a relationship. The
- 54:29Speaker 1: whole time we've been together, I have been taking him
- 54:32Speaker 1: to and from work. He does not have a car
- 54:35Speaker 1: or his own place to live. I also cook for
- 54:38Speaker 1: this man and give him money when he needs it.
- 54:41Speaker 1: He does say me back each time. I'm giving one
- 54:45Speaker 1: hundred percent of myself to him, but he has the
- 54:48Speaker 1: nerve to only like me as a friend. It makes
- 54:51Speaker 1: me feel like he's just using me. Is the good
- 54:55Speaker 1: sex clouding my judgment? What's really going on here? Please advise? Okay, okay, seriously, seriously,
- 55:04Speaker 1: if you were here, I would physically shake you so hard,
- 55:08Speaker 1: try to shake some sense into you. You know, you
- 55:11Speaker 1: maybe forty three year olds, but you're you're doing way
- 55:15Speaker 1: too much. Okay, I mean, just talk about over and
- 55:19Speaker 1: above and beyond. That's all you, that's all you. You're
- 55:23Speaker 1: doing way too much, and I disagree with you. No,
- 55:27Speaker 1: he's not using you. He doesn't have to. I mean,
- 55:30Speaker 1: you won't even give him a chance to use you
- 55:32Speaker 1: because you're right there. Let's go down the list. You
- 55:35Speaker 1: give him sex when he wants it, You cook for him,
- 55:38Speaker 1: you drive him to and from work, he stays with you,
- 55:43Speaker 1: and you give him money. What are you doing? What
- 55:47Speaker 1: are you doing? I mean, don't you take him to
- 55:50Speaker 1: and from work? I gotta ask you that. So why
- 55:53Speaker 1: do you have to give him money too? It's too much.
- 55:56Speaker 1: You're doing too much. I just don't understand. You know,
- 56:01Speaker 1: you have to get some self respect, you have to
- 56:04Speaker 1: you have none. Okay, you have to stop this. I'm
- 56:09Speaker 1: glad you wrote us. Nothing is that good where you
- 56:12Speaker 1: have to lose your your dignity and your low self esteem.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Nothing is that good, Okay nothing, I don't care. Nothing
- 56:21Speaker 1: is for you to lose your self respect like that.
- 56:23Speaker 1: And that's what it is. It's not that the sex
- 56:26Speaker 1: is so good. You're just you're caught up. You gotta
- 56:29Speaker 1: get you know, get a hold of yourself. Here. This
- 56:32Speaker 1: man has nothing to offer you but sex, and you
- 56:35Speaker 1: want much more and he's not giving it to you. Steve, Hello, lord,
- 56:41Speaker 1: lady forty three single mother too. You met a forty
- 56:47Speaker 1: three year old, very nice gentleman on a dating site
- 56:51Speaker 1: called Plenty of Fish. When we met, I told him
- 56:56Speaker 1: that I was ready for a relationship, not just hook
- 56:59Speaker 1: on for sex. He said, let's see where it goes.
- 57:02Speaker 1: See right there, you say you ready for a relationship,
- 57:05Speaker 1: not just for a hook up. He say, let's where
- 57:07Speaker 1: it goes. Guess what you missed that he didn't say.
- 57:10Speaker 1: He did not say what he wanted. He ain't even
- 57:14Speaker 1: say yeah, that's what I'm looking for to All he
- 57:17Speaker 1: said was let's see how I go. Two weeks go by,
- 57:20Speaker 1: you've been talking to him on the phone. You finally
- 57:23Speaker 1: meet with him. You ended up having sex the first night,
- 57:27Speaker 1: donn it, Steve? I know it was so good I
- 57:32Speaker 1: could not stop. We continue to have said it sex
- 57:35Speaker 1: at least once a week, and he started staying overnight
- 57:38Speaker 1: in my house. Six months later, I asked him, so
- 57:41Speaker 1: we together? He said, now we need together. He told
- 57:44Speaker 1: me we should stop having sex and just be friends
- 57:47Speaker 1: because I was getting too much emostly attached to him.
- 57:50Speaker 1: You ready for this? Not even a week went by
- 57:53Speaker 1: and he was back in your baby boy in here
- 57:56Speaker 1: doing it boy, and he got it. Turn up, he
- 57:59Speaker 1: ain't that bringing it. And I'm about to tell you
- 58:02Speaker 1: why this sex is so damn good. I can't stay
- 58:06Speaker 1: away from this man, but I really want a relationship.
- 58:10Speaker 1: The whole time we together, I've been taking him too
- 58:14Speaker 1: and from work. He does not have a call, he
- 58:19Speaker 1: does not have his own place to live. I cook
- 58:23Speaker 1: for this man and give him money when he needs it. Now,
- 58:28Speaker 1: when I come back, I'm gonna explain some things too minute. Now,
- 58:35Speaker 1: I just say, well, first of all, let me tell
- 58:36Speaker 1: you so. You find him on a dating site called
- 58:40Speaker 1: Plenty of Fish, and of all the man in here,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you get the one damn cat fish that was in there.
- 58:48Speaker 1: You didn't bought a damn bottom, dwell and scavenging master
- 58:52Speaker 1: ass cat all fish in the seat, and which one
- 58:58Speaker 1: you pull out? A hat fish? All right? Hold it
- 59:02Speaker 1: right there is, Steve, holding right there. We'll have part
- 59:05Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three after
- 59:08Speaker 1: the hour today. Subject is it is so good that
- 59:12Speaker 1: is clouding my judgment? You're listening show? All right, Steve,
- 59:19Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. It is so good that
- 59:22Speaker 1: is clouding my judgment? Yeah, she'd met this man on
- 59:25Speaker 1: plenty of fish. She didn't pulled out the one damned fish.
- 59:29Speaker 1: She didn't want a catfish, bottom, duel and scavenger. They've
- 59:34Speaker 1: been sleeping together, he just had she can't stop. Once
- 59:37Speaker 1: a week, six week, six months ago back, she finally
- 59:40Speaker 1: asked him, man, an't we together? He said no, No,
- 59:43Speaker 1: he don't know we need together. What do you say, No, no,
- 59:45Speaker 1: he don't know we need together? Well, you can do
- 59:48Speaker 1: them here together if you give me money. We're just friends. Hey,
- 59:59Speaker 1: we know we need to. We you stopped having sex,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: just be friend because you getting too emotional. You know,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I don't I don't like to be attached to stuff.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You know I ain't attached to no car. Note, I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: ain't attached to no mortgage or no payment. You know
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I ain't attached to no kitchen nowhere while I'm cooking,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I ain't attached to no money. Don't you see me?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I always needing something. The sex is so damn good,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: I can't stay away from He give me the money back.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: But he don't have a car or house. He needs
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: money all the time, and you gotta take him to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: and from work. My question for you for we went
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: on break was where does he work at the paper route?
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what job he got where
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: he can't get a car, a house or need money
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: all the time. Now you want to ask me, let
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: me explain something to you about this good sex you have.

- 1:01:02Speaker 1: a man that can't cook, and you having sexual a
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: man that needs money all the time for him. The

- 1:01:44Speaker 1: is just BS now clean. The way to say it
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: is BS is called benefits screwing because he has to
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: produce the type of screwing that produces benefits. Yea, So
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: now here that giving his all? No, and he got
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: to because he probably working part time. He got time
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: shop in this guild. Yeah, he don't have the stress
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: that most men have them. A lot of men can't
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: perform calls the stress. But he ain't got none. He
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: ain't got no mortgage, he ain't got no car. No,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: what is he stressing for? He is free to bes
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: to benefit screw. Oh he just in that performed ye
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: All his energy is in his sexual performance. He came
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: buy you a coat for Christmas. He can't bring you
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: a plate from Stein Mal. He can't bring them kids
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and yards are tied from Waltmart. He can't bring you
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: a happy meal from McDonald's. And when it dude getting money,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: it's so rare. He downed a Chick fil A on
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: the Sunday talking about how to hell if money doing
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: the week? You know that they ain't over right, this
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: man that you think you want to have a relationship with,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Why would you want a relationship with him? Somebody you
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: got to take care of and can't do nothing for
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: you except good sex. Then that's all it is. It's
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: just good sex. It's nothing, no other benefit to him.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. This gonna well all
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: because you know why it's gonna well because you're gonna
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: mess where I need something. Everybody needs something every nine.

- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Since that's who you're passing out all you're loving to,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you're gonna want it from him. And guess what he
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: gonna tell you? You have me for money? We ain't know.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: We're just friend. We're just friend. You know I ain't
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: got I just bother from money of you last week.

- 1:04:11Speaker 1: What the hell I'm gonna be mean? Fault? You got
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: to be nice. You got to drop me off and

- 1:04:52Speaker 1: wants a relationship Steve with who he can't do nothing
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: for you all your children. He's a bad exa sample
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: of a man. He's forty three. He don't have a car,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: he don't have his own place, he don't cook any
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: ball money from you, and he's forty three. You want
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: a relationship with him, you got it. He's doing the
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: only thing he can do and that's screws right. He
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: can't do nothing now he I told you ask him

- 1:06:43Speaker 1: got caught going out the door. White dude had on
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: a sweatshirt, some gym shoes. He was fast too. It
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: was fast too, just wasn't quite fast enough. He had
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: met when I gave him my jacket, though, and I
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: was so thin then that didn't mean nothing to me.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: It was damn near irrelevant. I slipped out that jacket
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: so fast, I just let my arms go limp like spaghetti.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: He had the jacket. That white dude I got out
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: on a prospect, that white boy star chasing me. That
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: dude was fast, but he had no idea who he
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: was chasing. Dog, Dog, I was un catchable back then.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I looked back. I said, man, he's still hill, and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I just went on and just dropped it down in
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Nitro was gone. Put that black on him when you're scared.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: When you scared, dog, I would put that black speed
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: on it that he hadn't seen. Sound like an Endian, Yeah,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: that was, he yelled at mere Gard. Be years partner,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: don't worry, worry. Yeah. And when I did go back

- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Number two, your mama keeps hitting on me. That's that
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: number three. I thought they was dead already. Over four

- 1:09:34Speaker 1: any damn weight, but they all booze you by the
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: first of all, don't nobody like pumpkin pie? All right?

- 1:10:23Speaker 1: the dude that that that that rad on you when
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you clock out of iwa you would hear. You thought
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: you had a cool with him until you get halfway home. Yeah,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: they're looking for you. How do you know I'm going.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I don't like people send you video, email you videos
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: of the life. That just got personal. The topic is
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: people I hate on my job. Let's go. You know
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: what the people I hate on my job? And not
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: only are they sicker than you, but they have functions
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: to raise money about hot damn sick down. We don't
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: have nothing for diabetics. We are running, we make a speech.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: We ain't out there doing that. We don't have a
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: month for with you having a date or a month
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: or marathon. To me, just to me, you are sicker
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: than me. You know what I like about my job.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: I know some sick people on the job. I'm not
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: calling no name, I ain't telling no I ain't that,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: But I child like people that got diabeat it. They
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: act like type two is better the type one. Care
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: really all that I take my medicine. Yeah, I don't
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: shoot my menace. But they're talking to the sick people
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: a body. Yeah, I mean you really still old man?
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Ain't my face? Ain't your ways? Okay? You was at
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: one pointe right, to. That's all I'm saying. I talked
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: about nobody on my job. I can't staying nobody. I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: can't stay nobody on my job. Who a millionaire? And
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: every time they come to work, they always who I'm
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: going through? What is you going through? You ain't going
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: through who? The Lord testament? I ain't testing you. I
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: ain't not wrong with who I'm going through? Who? I
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: don't know what your part going through? God? They had
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: your boy, I tell God, Man, I'm gonna make it
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: through this. Who man? They trying to test your boy?
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: How is they? Who? Champagne? All right, you're listening to show?
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: All right, So here's a question for you. Did you
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: follow your childhood dream now? According to a new survey
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: by Vetti, that's z I T Y probably not. The
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: survey found that more than two thirds of those who
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: had a dream job picked out as a kid didn't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: end up making that dream come true. For male respondents,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: becoming a professional athlete top the list at seventeen percent,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: while twenty two percent of women wanted to become teachers.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: The age in which reality started to sink in for
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Americans was fifteen years old when they got their first jobs.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: The top childhood dream jobs of Americans include doctor, teacher, veterinarian, musician,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: movie star, professional athlete, artist, etc. So did you follow
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: your dream job since your childhood or what? That's the question.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I think what happens to the boy who wants to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: be a professional athlete around fifteen? It starts losing grill.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: It ain't cause you've got a job. It's because he
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: went out and played with some people that's fitting to
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: be pros and found out real fast. My ass ain't
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: going because the dude just blew by me like I
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: was standing still and I was running as fast as
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I could. That boy going to the pros. You ain't
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: as fifteen, that's true, all right? Yeah? I played in
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: the Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers one time. That's
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: when I knew really coming up. And three minutes after
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the hour, we'll play another round of would you rather?
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening, Hardy morning show, time for
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: another round of would you rather? Would you rather rob
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a bank or still a sports car bank? I'll give
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: you I think that dog that's felony. You're gone, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I'll go in for grand theft. Were gone. We can
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: take that really this is a wealth. I might get
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: away with that cat. Oh no, no, no, no, see
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: this bank you gotta have gun. Once you got that
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: gun you got no no, no, no, you as can
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: do another kind of time now, okay, okay, no no,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: I'm not robbing no bank though I still is car.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I just stole it. Hey, let's go to go to yes, yes, yes,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather have it rain every day?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Rain every day or snow every day? When we got
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: a problem. Now you've been in bo, you got a problem.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: If it's snow every day, your ass got a problem.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: You can't snow every day? You got a problem, partner,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: It was so much snow remover you mean it snowed
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: again in shoveling dryway. I gotta go out here shoveling
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: dryway again. But if it rained every day, that water,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: the water got something for your ass man, that that
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: water gonna turn into a flood. So either way, that's
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: a rough one because a lot of people are gonna
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: be in trouble either way. That's not gonna be good.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Either way. A rain snow every day for how long?
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Surely every day every day? That that can't happen? Would
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you we all we're all gonna die either way. All
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: of us are going to die either way. Now you
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: want to get this no arc version of it, or
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: you want to freeze your ass to death? Is it
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: hot rain? Is it wet snow? Okay, all right, we're
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: moving on because you guys can't decide on that one.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Would you rather know when you're gonna die? Or how
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: you're gonna die? Oh? When? Now? I rather know how?
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Because that way I can stay out of that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna be in the cocks and last,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: my last we're gonna die. But you want to know? Oh,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: because because because I'm going to live life to the fullest.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: That last year I'm gonna give y'all. I'm gonna give
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: it to you. Well anyway, Well if it's next week, though,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: nice year, stop living in next week. I'm was staying
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: in the house in one room, closed the door and
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: try to try to try to make it a lie.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: All right, try to beat it. Thank you. That's today's
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: would you rather? Coming up? At forty nine minutes after
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: the hour, our last break of the day and some
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Blue Chief Steve Harvey, Right,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. All right, Steve, here
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: we are back, last break of the day, and you're
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: gonna leave us with some closing remarks. Yeah, you know,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I want to share something with you that I came
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: across when I was meditating this summer and a friend
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: of mine, Bishop Gettis down in the Carolina's who I
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: met on my talk show one time. We formed a relationship,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: very very helpful. Bishop gettys. He sends me inspiration all
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: the time. He just, I mean, just a good dude,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: may just care about me. He always sends me something timely.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: And one of the things he sent me I was
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: thinking about on the or when I was meditating this summer,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and it's something that I'm guilty of even myself. And
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I was explaining it to a couple of people that
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: work around him. They would come up, you say that
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: you feel that way. Yeah, man, it's all relative. You know,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: it doesn't matter how you think my life is, the
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: fact that I might be still short in myself is
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: a very very real reality. And there is a possibility
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: moving forward that you could also be short in your
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: life for what it could truly be. Have you ever
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: thought about that you could be making one mistake that's
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: cutting you off from the life that you could really have.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: You're actually sort short circuit in your blessings because of
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: a very simple thing that we do. And I'm guilty
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: of this myself. And I had to catch myself this summer,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: and one of the things I came away with I said, Man,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: I got to dream bigger. I have got to dream
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: bigger because I've exposed myself with people who have so
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: much more. Now do you need so much more? No?
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: But God said he would give you the desires of
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: your heart. He'll even put some stuff on your heart
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: to desire. You ain't even know what's really there, but
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: he wants you to see that too. So look, I'm
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: out of the need business. I just need him. He's
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: all I need. Of course, I need love and people
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: that care about me and friendship. I'm not saying I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: don't need nothing, but as far as material stuff, I
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: don't need anything. It's just stuff I want. But it's
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: nothing wrong we want anymore, as long as you're grateful
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: for where you at. But here's what happens, And it
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: happens to me, and it may be happening to you,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: And I don't want you to shortcircuit your blessings. I
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: don't want you to knock yourself out of something that
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you could have. Listen to me, don't downgrade your dream
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: just to fit your reality. I'm gonna repeat that, but
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I got some more. Don't downgrade your dream just to
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: One more time, y'all listen to this. This is so good, man.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Don't downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: your conviction to match your destiny. Oh man, this is
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: so good. Do you know how many times we reshape
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: what we want based on where we're at right now?
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Do you know how many times you've bought a car
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: based on how much you made? Now you saying, well,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: of course, Steve, you gotta fit it in the budget.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: But hold up, though, but did you really want something else?
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Did you really see yourself driving a different model, the
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: upscale model? Did you see you with that car but
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: it was fully loaded? I'm just saying, well, you know
