- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on diggon nah one and only. Steve
- 2:11Speaker 1: Harley got a radio show. You gotta good for you today.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I was thinking about on the way in. You know,
- 2:18Speaker 1: yesterday was a really, really trying day for me. There's
- 2:21Speaker 1: a lot of work yesterday and I was up. I've
- 2:25Speaker 1: gotten so tired at one point man that But you know,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I had no one to to
- 2:31Speaker 1: to explain it to. You know, mom. The fellas that
- 2:34Speaker 1: travel with me, they just go, they just go. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: they know where I gotta be. They get me in place,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know, blah blah blah. But you know, you know,
- 2:46Speaker 1: right about when I'm about to complain about it out loud,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I also find all of the incredible reasons that I
- 2:56Speaker 1: have to be grateful, and it kind of slows down
- 3:00Speaker 1: to complain it a little bit. Now, I'm not saying
- 3:01Speaker 1: that our days. Man, why I don't verbalize my fatigue
- 3:05Speaker 1: or I don't verbalize my man I wish I didn't
- 3:09Speaker 1: have to work so hard, or man, but but but
- 3:12Speaker 1: but but yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. But when
- 3:14Speaker 1: I get through with that, I have so many reasons
- 3:17Speaker 1: to be grateful that it does slow it down, you know,
- 3:20Speaker 1: and sometimes it might in the majority terms, just flat
- 3:22Speaker 1: out stops it because I end up laughing at myself
- 3:26Speaker 1: because you know, it's so many things are happening to
- 3:29Speaker 1: me beyond my belief, beyond what I asked God for.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So there's just some extreme blessings going on in my life.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But man, man o, man o, man have I paid?
- 3:41Speaker 1: And that that's the part I want to talk to
- 3:42Speaker 1: you about today. You know, see a lot of people
- 3:44Speaker 1: look at other people and they see what they think
- 3:47Speaker 1: is the finished product. They don't realize that all of us,
- 3:52Speaker 1: no matter who we are, are still a work in progress.
- 3:55Speaker 1: That I have many flaws that I have many problems
- 3:57Speaker 1: and have many situations that come, you know, just like
- 4:01Speaker 1: anybody else. You know, I'm no different from that, you know.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You know, life happens for me just like it happens
- 4:07Speaker 1: for you. It may happen in different ways, but just
- 4:12Speaker 1: like you know, if it's something comes up at an
- 4:14Speaker 1: inconvenient time for you, it pops up for me. You know,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if something happens for me that seems unfair, I know
- 4:21Speaker 1: that it's happening to somebody else unfairly. But you know, um,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I find myself being grateful the majority of the time.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I can't say all the time because I'm a human being,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and sometimes I find myself complaining about it all, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 1: But but I try, for the most part to stay grateful,
- 4:42Speaker 1: to stay focused, and it allows me to keep the
- 4:46Speaker 1: wheels churning. But now I wanna I want to share
- 4:50Speaker 1: something with you about your road to success. You know
- 4:56Speaker 1: you've heard me say this probably a hundred times now.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Road to success is always under construction, it really is.
- 5:05Speaker 1: So here's here's what I want you to expect on
- 5:09Speaker 1: your way to changing, on your way to becoming successful,
- 5:14Speaker 1: on your way to achieving your goals on your way
- 5:18Speaker 1: to getting better. I want you to expect many difficulties.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Once again, the road to the road to success is
- 5:31Speaker 1: always under construction. I want you to expect many difficulties.
- 5:37Speaker 1: But here is the deal between successful people and non
- 5:40Speaker 1: successful people. It's how they deal with the difficulties. That's
- 5:49Speaker 1: the only difference. It's how you deal with the difficulties,
- 5:53Speaker 1: how you handle the setbacks, how well you get up
- 5:57Speaker 1: after you've been knocked down. That that's happening to all
- 6:01Speaker 1: of us, none of us, none of us are exempt
- 6:04Speaker 1: from that. You're going to fall, You're going to be pushed,
- 6:10Speaker 1: you're going to be run over, You're going to be tackled,
- 6:16Speaker 1: you are going to be lied about. You are going
- 6:20Speaker 1: to have setbacks. That's a part of the journey. But
- 6:25Speaker 1: how do you handle them? How well do you do
- 6:29Speaker 1: you handle everything? See? I want you to understand something.
- 6:33Speaker 1: When you set out to be successful, he is difficult.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Pet Pablo, who I have probably people? What is it
- 6:40Speaker 1: about to quote Pet Pablo? He had a uh a
- 6:45Speaker 1: rap album out called Diary of a Cinner, and it
- 6:49Speaker 1: was really, man, my favorite rap album of all time
- 6:54Speaker 1: because he says some things about his life that I
- 6:57Speaker 1: could so relate to. I can't think of the name
- 7:00Speaker 1: of the song right now, but there is a lyric
- 7:03Speaker 1: a Stands in one of his songs that says, I
- 7:06Speaker 1: had a half a tank of gas, two cigarettes, scraping
- 7:11Speaker 1: up change in an ash tray, and a voice said,
- 7:16Speaker 1: it's only a test of my faith. It said, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: had a half a tank of gas, two cigarettes, scraping
- 7:26Speaker 1: up change in an ash tray, but a voice said
- 7:30Speaker 1: it was only a test of my faith. It's a
- 7:35Speaker 1: deal your faith, which is the belief in things that
- 7:39Speaker 1: you cannot see. When you say I'm going to make it,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I'm going to be successful at it. I'm going to
- 7:45Speaker 1: finish college. I'm going to achieve my goal. I'm going
- 7:49Speaker 1: to be a better husband. I'm going to be a
- 7:51Speaker 1: better father. I'm going to be a better wife. I'm
- 7:54Speaker 1: going to be a better mother. I'm going to be
- 7:56Speaker 1: a better student. I'm going to be rich. I'm going
- 8:00Speaker 1: to start doing more for other people. I'm going to
- 8:03Speaker 1: help the less fortunate. Whatever you say when you're sending
- 8:07Speaker 1: that prayer up, when you declare that faith, the devil
- 8:12Speaker 1: hears your prayer to Now, a sad thing about the
- 8:16Speaker 1: devil is he's busy seven and he has people that
- 8:22Speaker 1: works for him seven. It's some imps out there that
- 8:26Speaker 1: ain't up to no good. You all know them. You've
- 8:30Speaker 1: all run across them. They always putting shade on somebody.
- 8:36Speaker 1: They always barking at somebody. They always knocking somebody down.
- 8:42Speaker 1: These people that they're just busy for Satan. What you
- 8:46Speaker 1: gotta be careful of is that occasionally you don't become
- 8:49Speaker 1: one of those people. See so when these people, when
- 8:55Speaker 1: when the devil hears is prayer that you sent up
- 8:57Speaker 1: or what you're gonna be successful at, then your faith
- 9:01Speaker 1: is going to be tested. He got people man to
- 9:05Speaker 1: come in there and try to knock you off that course.
- 9:08Speaker 1: So you can get on back to this old woe
- 9:10Speaker 1: is me. I ain't gonna ever be nothing then, uh man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: seemed like every time I try to get back up
- 9:16Speaker 1: by getting knocked right back. Now, once he gets you
- 9:19Speaker 1: saying that enough times, then he can start implementing some
- 9:23Speaker 1: other programs. Come on, man, let's sell this dope. We
- 9:28Speaker 1: can't get no job now here you go. You're off track.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You're going you other way. Now he got you, he
- 9:34Speaker 1: got you tied up. Now to the poort where he
- 9:36Speaker 1: can get you locked up, or he can get your
- 9:37Speaker 1: killed and lose your soul. So now he had worked busy,
- 9:41Speaker 1: he all day. What you got to be mindful of
- 9:45Speaker 1: is that your faith will be tested, that it's going
- 9:48Speaker 1: to be difficult to get to where you are, and
- 9:51Speaker 1: you got to stay in prayer all the time talking
- 9:54Speaker 1: to your creator about strengthening you for the journey. You
- 9:58Speaker 1: have to be strengthened for the journey. That's all you're
- 10:02Speaker 1: asking for, because the journey is the journey. You can
- 10:05Speaker 1: stop asking God to remove all these problems in these
- 10:08Speaker 1: situations because it ain't gonna happen. These are the test
- 10:12Speaker 1: of our faith. This determines how bad you want it now.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It ain't all. It ain't just God throwing these tests
- 10:19Speaker 1: that you You just heard me say that there's another
- 10:22Speaker 1: force that he is your prayer to. And he about
- 10:24Speaker 1: the business and not letting you become successful, not letting
- 10:27Speaker 1: you become a better man or better father, better husband,
- 10:29Speaker 1: better better student, better mother, but trying to help more people.
- 10:33Speaker 1: His job is to get you off that track. So
- 10:36Speaker 1: when he sent his imps your way, you gotta understand
- 10:39Speaker 1: that they there to test you. Them haters is there
- 10:42Speaker 1: to throw you off course. But guess what them haters
- 10:45Speaker 1: is they are also the verified the fact that you
- 10:48Speaker 1: on your way. Them haters is there are verified the
- 10:51Speaker 1: fact that a change is coming. See, they try to
- 10:54Speaker 1: knock you off course before the blessing arrives. Oftentimes the
- 10:58Speaker 1: Blessing is on the way. But because we fall prey
- 11:02Speaker 1: to hate us and them impst us out there, and
- 11:04Speaker 1: them they sayers and all of that, all of those
- 11:07Speaker 1: construction barrels and pitfalls we fall prey to that we
- 11:11Speaker 1: get off right before the arrival of the blessing. What
- 11:16Speaker 1: I'm saying to you this morning is stay focused, stay prayerful,
- 11:20Speaker 1: stay on point, get ready for him. Understand that it's
- 11:24Speaker 1: just to test to your faith, that your faith will
- 11:27Speaker 1: be tested. But you got to stay the course, man,
- 11:30Speaker 1: You got to stay the course. It's all right, you
- 11:35Speaker 1: will be fine in due time. But you gotta give
- 11:39Speaker 1: some of this stuff a chance to play itself out
- 11:41Speaker 1: because nothing lasts forever. Ain't no pain forever. All right.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help you with that, because boy,
- 11:52Speaker 1: I'm dealing with it all the time. Stay prayerful, God
- 11:57Speaker 1: got help from you. All right, Let's go here, listen
- 12:00Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey Morning. Eighteen minutes after that, we're welcome
- 12:08Speaker 1: to the ride. J'ah Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is
- 12:14Speaker 1: show that is in color at all times, vivid color.
- 12:20Speaker 1: H D folk, you understand what I say. Here we
- 12:24Speaker 1: go Steve Harvey Morning Show, mowning everybody. Yeah, mon, it's
- 12:33Speaker 1: so funny. Good morning, really pretty good today. Man, I'm
- 12:37Speaker 1: ready to get America off to a great start. Oh,
- 12:41Speaker 1: you want to make a America great again? Okay, I
- 12:45Speaker 1: didn't say that. Surely, don't insinuate that I said that.
- 12:51Speaker 1: You know them Hayters is listening. The next thing, you know,
- 12:55Speaker 1: it'll be on the internet. Steve Harvey wants to make
- 12:57Speaker 1: America great. I ain't saying a damn thing like that.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Cared for the slogan myself personally. Yeah, we were already great. Yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I do think this is a great opportunity. I think
- 13:12Speaker 1: in this country. I think that's an opportunity here that's
- 13:15Speaker 1: available to a lot of people. My job and my
- 13:18Speaker 1: mission is to help people accomplish that all right here.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I don't know if it's there yet, but I think
- 13:25Speaker 1: it is. I wrote a letter that I released on
- 13:29Speaker 1: the internet. It's The letter is entitled to my people
- 13:37Speaker 1: and whomever else it made concern. Oh, I wrote a letter.
- 13:44Speaker 1: What prompted you to write the letter? Still, it's an
- 13:48Speaker 1: people and to whomever else had made concern. I finished
- 13:52Speaker 1: it up over the weekend. I just thought it was
- 13:55Speaker 1: time that I spoke. So many people didn't hear my
- 14:00Speaker 1: uh announcement when I made it after I went to
- 14:03Speaker 1: see President elect Trump at the time he had been
- 14:07Speaker 1: sworn in. I took a lot of heat from that
- 14:10Speaker 1: because just people just didn't know. And so I wrote
- 14:14Speaker 1: a letter to my people over the weekend and to
- 14:18Speaker 1: whomever they're making sound or whoever else wants to hear this.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You want to read it too. I don't know if
- 14:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna read it today or not. I may read it,
- 14:28Speaker 1: you know, I may do that in my clothing, may
- 14:30Speaker 1: do that. Yeah, we want to hear it. You bring
- 14:33Speaker 1: it up at the end of the show today. Now
- 14:39Speaker 1: there's a line in it that I must forewarn you about. Uh.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Of course if you wrote it. Okay, okay, some of
- 14:52Speaker 1: my fans, followers and so called friendsh that's one to
- 15:00Speaker 1: forewarn you about that. That line. Okay, So we'll come
- 15:04Speaker 1: after that. We need to be concerned about. Well, is
- 15:08Speaker 1: it any cussing in the letter? Man, I'll never do that,
- 15:14Speaker 1: not in print? Was your cousin when you wrote it?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, a little bit. Yeah, that was the thoughts.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I just yeah, what prompted you to do it? Why?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Because things are moving along after the visit m h.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And instead of letting people speculate what the visit was about,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I just decided to have a bit more disclosure and
- 15:44Speaker 1: then tell people what's uh, give them a little bit
- 15:48Speaker 1: of what the movement has been so far from the
- 15:52Speaker 1: meeting from the meeting, because there is movement, there is movement,
- 15:59Speaker 1: and and so I just thought I'm gonna write me
- 16:02Speaker 1: a letter before now after this letter, please know, you
- 16:08Speaker 1: can feel how you want to feel. But at least
- 16:12Speaker 1: the letter states the truth and what's actually happened, instead
- 16:17Speaker 1: of just sitting here letting hate us just you know,
- 16:20Speaker 1: do what they want to do. Now, even after this letter,
- 16:22Speaker 1: the hater isn't gonna be there because that's their job.
- 16:26Speaker 1: That's their job. Yeah, well I understand that. And I
- 16:30Speaker 1: don't expect them to go away or some of them
- 16:33Speaker 1: won't change. Because what did your pastor, Bishop Olmer teach me,
- 16:36Speaker 1: Shirley Bishop can have seen Olmer, one of my great
- 16:40Speaker 1: friends taught me. He says, Steve, for those who love you,
- 16:43Speaker 1: no explanation necessary. For those who hate you, no explanation.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Accept them. And he taught me that. He said, man,
- 16:54Speaker 1: you can quit tripping. If they want to find a
- 16:57Speaker 1: reason to hate you, they're gonna find it m hm.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And they're gonna just stay right there. Yeah. So I
- 17:04Speaker 1: just wrote a letter. The letter was dear America, but
- 17:08Speaker 1: I decided against that. I didn't want to say dear America.
- 17:13Speaker 1: So you said dear my people. I wanted to write
- 17:16Speaker 1: now to my people. Oh so y'all know exactly who
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm talking to. I'm talking directly to my people, while
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'm from the people I have loved and claimed mind
- 17:28Speaker 1: entire life, who I never ran away from. M hmm.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So he had come get ready. I don't know what
- 17:37Speaker 1: this's gonna do. Show should have ran this by my wife,
- 17:41Speaker 1: wait a minute, talked to her about it. And you
- 17:45Speaker 1: wrote this letter and you gotta release it on the internet.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Remember the last time you didn't you thought of something
- 17:52Speaker 1: and didn't run it by anyone. This time last year
- 17:58Speaker 1: we was on a bike. Yeah, yeah, and a treadmill.
- 18:03Speaker 1: This issue, y'all said, don't do that, absolutely not yourself. Yeah,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I don't. I can't come up with another idea to
- 18:13Speaker 1: raise money for these kids, you know, I mean the
- 18:18Speaker 1: sentiment was great, the cause was good, but it was
- 18:23Speaker 1: just hard, you know. I mean an hour a day
- 18:26Speaker 1: or you know, something like that. We would have probably said, oh, yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: that'll be great. Four hours a day for thirty days straight, NonStop.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Maybe we could do Freedom Ride Fridays, ah and then
- 18:44Speaker 1: have like special guests, like if I could get my
- 18:46Speaker 1: boy Kevin to come in for a day. His social
- 18:50Speaker 1: media platform is massive. Oh yeah, if I could get
- 18:55Speaker 1: Kevin to do it with billion to do it, m M.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, Chris and Justin Bieble. Okay, Selena Gomez, how
- 19:11Speaker 1: old is she? Yeah? Yeah, she has the most huge following. Yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: they got a following. She got a huge She's got
- 19:23Speaker 1: the most. She's like number one. Yeah, really cute. Yeah,
- 19:29Speaker 1: she's the biggest thing on social media. She got Yeah,
- 19:32Speaker 1: I think she she she she surpassed Um, Beyonce and
- 19:37Speaker 1: the Kardashians and all of them. Yeah, last time I checked,
- 19:40Speaker 1: she was number one. A couple of weeks ago, alright.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Coming coming up next, Steve has a story about being
- 19:47Speaker 1: caught in traffic in Atlanta on that ball and bridge.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Wait till we hear this. Yeah, we'll be back at
- 19:54Speaker 1: thirty four after you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Four
- 19:59Speaker 1: minutes after that. Coming up next, Uh, listen, I'm gonna
- 20:04Speaker 1: share with you something that happened over the weekend in
- 20:08Speaker 1: Atlanta due to the bridge burning down. My story on
- 20:16Speaker 1: the way to family feud, right all right, in Atlanta,
- 20:27Speaker 1: this traffic is whole because of the bridge. That bridge, man,
- 20:36Speaker 1: it knocked down traffic both ways on the freeway below
- 20:41Speaker 1: and both ways on the freeway above. This is so crazy.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Leaving Family Feud after I got through taping at the
- 20:51Speaker 1: Civic Center, I'm just sitting in traffic on a Sunday, Sunday.
- 20:58Speaker 1: So you're at but you you got l a traffic night,
- 21:04Speaker 1: not even dark outside, just sitting in traffic dirt, So
- 21:12Speaker 1: on a Sunday. Do you know what this is like?
- 21:14Speaker 1: During the week On Saturday, I left my house thirty
- 21:19Speaker 1: minutes from downtown. It took me an hour fifteen. Then
- 21:24Speaker 1: it took so long when we got off on Sydney Marcus,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I decided I had to go to bath. The choice
- 21:32Speaker 1: was a McDonald's or a CVS. I chose the CVS. Mistake, mistake, everybody, girl.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I was in that CVS and these two sisters. It's
- 21:50Speaker 1: a cold. I don't know nothing about it. Yeah you got.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about this. These two sisters at
- 21:57Speaker 1: the county. I say, excuse me, and I'm trying to
- 22:00Speaker 1: push a little bit. Excuse me. Can you tell me
- 22:02Speaker 1: where the rest of room is? Yes, sir, just go
- 22:06Speaker 1: straight in. Leave lady. Yeah, oh know the hell it ain't.
- 22:19Speaker 1: She got her phone. I'm telling me what it bad
- 22:22Speaker 1: from girls. Steve Harvey just walked to my stone here now,
- 22:33Speaker 1: Oh my god, Steve Harvey. Lord, jeez, let me fix
- 22:35Speaker 1: my hell. You look fine. Let me go get the cameras.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Oh man, So she said, going to back. I go
- 22:44Speaker 1: on the back. I get there. I'm standing there because
- 22:48Speaker 1: the dope got a cobe. So I'm calling this lady.
- 22:55Speaker 1: She didn't stop listen to me the cosmetic. I laid
- 22:59Speaker 1: up to the bathroom. She didn't stop to open a
- 23:05Speaker 1: pack a lipstick, started sweat. Y'allstanding that going. Man, damn,
- 23:19Speaker 1: look at this girl, I said, baby, baby, what's the
- 23:24Speaker 1: code back hill? Oh, here I come. She opened the coat.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I used the bathroom. When I came out that bathfood. Kid,
- 23:33Speaker 1: how many people it was a least and they read
- 23:41Speaker 1: it I'm taking pictures in c I finally get out
- 23:49Speaker 1: to the car and oh, my car taking pictures. This
- 23:54Speaker 1: girl got her elbow. Oh my real jess elbow. That's
- 24:04Speaker 1: how she posed it for. That was the one the experience.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Excuse me, man, excuse me, but please please, let's just
- 24:13Speaker 1: stay off the car. And no, no, he said, ma'am, please,
- 24:16Speaker 1: no pictures of the car. She said, it's in the pocket.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Said if you don't want to take pictures in your car,
- 24:25Speaker 1: don't bring right she said, He said, no pictures of
- 24:33Speaker 1: the car. She said, it's in the part. This is
- 24:38Speaker 1: what I wanted. Man, I feel out laughing. I was
- 24:45Speaker 1: all right, let's go, man, I just wanted. I want
- 24:49Speaker 1: to be there. Want That was funny, st that was
- 24:53Speaker 1: very funny. Yes, sir, just go straight in the back
- 24:56Speaker 1: is in the left hand. Oh no, the hell, it
- 25:02Speaker 1: ain't get down here. Steve is in my stone. When
- 25:09Speaker 1: I came outside, Key was laying on the car dedication
- 25:14Speaker 1: with a strip of burgundy hair. Across both represent regularly. Alright,
- 25:25Speaker 1: get ready, I'm next to the nephew and run that
- 25:29Speaker 1: prank back. You're listening to Steve. I we're back for
- 25:38Speaker 1: eight minutes after the our time, and gonn run that
- 25:40Speaker 1: place back. But then coming up at the top of
- 25:42Speaker 1: the hour, U. You know, we got some things coming
- 25:45Speaker 1: on and we're saying inform us about it, and we
- 25:48Speaker 1: may take some calls on the question of the week.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Have you ever dated a co worker or your boss?
- 25:54Speaker 1: How did it work out? You can call us at
- 25:56Speaker 1: eight seven times nine. Befool what you got? RuSHA RuSHA
- 26:04Speaker 1: always messing at the church. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 26:15Speaker 1: reach your sister. Good even to your ma'am. I don't
- 26:22Speaker 1: mean to be giving you a call this late in
- 26:24Speaker 1: the evening, but I am the new youth minister. I
- 26:27Speaker 1: haven't uh my name is Sean Williams over at Missionary
- 26:31Speaker 1: Baptist Church, which mine is what happened. Um, he's no
- 26:37Speaker 1: longer with the church anymore. Man. Well, I'm not at
- 26:44Speaker 1: at liberty to speak up on that. But but what
- 26:47Speaker 1: I was doing is getting around and making sure I
- 26:49Speaker 1: I met everyone because I haven't met everyone yet and
- 26:52Speaker 1: I wanted to reach out to um everyone at the church.
- 26:56Speaker 1: But listen, let me, let me get down to some
- 26:58Speaker 1: more business, because I've spoken with the pastor. Uh spoke yip, yes, man,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I know, but it's okay. I spoke with him on
- 27:11Speaker 1: yesterday and we have narrowed some things down over a
- 27:16Speaker 1: few changes we're going to be making at the church.
- 27:18Speaker 1: And what we want to do was UM. One of
- 27:21Speaker 1: the major subjects that have come up, sins that we're
- 27:25Speaker 1: wanting you if at all possible, and the deacons were
- 27:28Speaker 1: in on this meeting as well, but wanting you to
- 27:31Speaker 1: change your attitude when people are coming in and you're
- 27:34Speaker 1: seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten to the point
- 27:37Speaker 1: where they think, you wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
- 27:39Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait, thank you, I've had a meeting. Well,
- 27:43Speaker 1: it wasn't a meeting. I don't want to listen here.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I've been ushering on that usher board before it seven years.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I am the SAR, and I've been try nuts about it.
- 27:55Speaker 1: But I don't understand y'all don't have a meeting without
- 27:58Speaker 1: me talked about. But now you're gonna call here and
- 28:02Speaker 1: tell me that you're gonna you're having a meeting on
- 28:05Speaker 1: me about me being nice, always nice. Well, ma'am, that
- 28:09Speaker 1: doesn't seem to be seven now, and they go somebo
- 28:16Speaker 1: to call me this don't make no trop? What is it? Well?
- 28:22Speaker 1: What that's actually my call, man, is that maybe we
- 28:25Speaker 1: are figured if I would call and speak with you
- 28:27Speaker 1: about the matter, that maybe we can get to some
- 28:30Speaker 1: type of rectifying this situation to where we can We're
- 28:34Speaker 1: gonna recodify here. I'm gonna recotified. You calling me this
- 28:38Speaker 1: time a night taught my some meeting. Just don't make
- 28:41Speaker 1: no time. I don't apprecionate you're calling me any time
- 28:45Speaker 1: a night away? Is bishop, I need to speakship bishops
- 28:50Speaker 1: that actually I've been at this church reported seven years.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I've been saying, oh my life, this don't make no
- 28:56Speaker 1: type of sense. You're calling me here with this matter
- 28:58Speaker 1: now often to make me us I'm trying to be
- 29:01Speaker 1: a Christian, But you're not gonna ask me to be
- 29:04Speaker 1: a Christianity. You just gonna just gonna aditate me with
- 29:07Speaker 1: this mess telling me about something. Remember that that's saying
- 29:10Speaker 1: that they're having problems when you're seating the people, and
- 29:13Speaker 1: that's all that we're trying to get rectified. People don't
- 29:16Speaker 1: want to sit down. They want to go over here,
- 29:18Speaker 1: they want to go up there. They want to have
- 29:19Speaker 1: the children run a two and throw. It's like a
- 29:21Speaker 1: bunch of demons a while he's just bucking around in
- 29:24Speaker 1: the trench like they ain't got no sense. And I'm
- 29:27Speaker 1: not going to have it in my second. My section
- 29:29Speaker 1: is gonna be straight. And I understand you know what,
- 29:31Speaker 1: since uh, I think if we did this, if you
- 29:35Speaker 1: would do me a favor and hold your phone, and
- 29:37Speaker 1: if you would just bow your head right now for me,
- 29:39Speaker 1: maybe we can come to to get to get the
- 29:43Speaker 1: man at my head clean, baby, if we can get
- 29:49Speaker 1: your lords it's clean, it's hospital carpet. It don't make
- 29:52Speaker 1: no what about buying my head if you could, maybe,
- 29:55Speaker 1: if you could close your eyes, since I want to
- 29:59Speaker 1: close my said you called me and woke me up
- 30:01Speaker 1: by my fleet. I am very knowed at this and
- 30:05Speaker 1: I don't appreciate it. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 30:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna speak to me now. Father. We asked that
- 30:10Speaker 1: you look down upon the stick. We asked that you
- 30:13Speaker 1: look down upon her right now, right now, asking that
- 30:17Speaker 1: you put a smile on her face. On Sunday morning,
- 30:20Speaker 1: asking that you put some joy in her heart on
- 30:23Speaker 1: Sunday morning, asking that you draw all the pain that
- 30:26Speaker 1: she in, the anguish that she might be going through
- 30:29Speaker 1: whatever demon there is inside. We asked that you draw
- 30:32Speaker 1: that demon out. We asked that you poured that demon
- 30:35Speaker 1: away from stack right now in your name. We asked
- 30:40Speaker 1: all of these blessings to come. Because I don't appreciate
- 30:43Speaker 1: this boy, I don't even know who you is. Pastor
- 30:48Speaker 1: gave me the numb one and asked me to call
- 30:49Speaker 1: I am like I said, I'm Sean Williams. We haven't
- 30:51Speaker 1: met yet, and I am the news. He don't, he don't.
- 30:54Speaker 1: He don't ask that for the third time. I don't
- 30:58Speaker 1: told you, boyshable you respect, that's what miss Let me
- 31:02Speaker 1: let me let me say this right here, sister, and
- 31:06Speaker 1: maybe this will shed some light on things a little
- 31:09Speaker 1: bit clearer. I'm trying of This is nephew timing from
- 31:14Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by System
- 31:19Speaker 1: who is also usher at the church. A missing here
- 31:23Speaker 1: about this make no sense Lord him, This is embarrassing.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is yes, ma'am. That's that's that's
- 31:40Speaker 1: my uncle. This is just a joke though many O
- 31:45Speaker 1: Lord you doing is? Do you listen to the show? Everything?
- 31:58Speaker 1: I never would have said my test to be on it.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Oh lord, jog oh my God got me on this
- 32:04Speaker 1: radio accord? Since bid this here to you? How about
- 32:12Speaker 1: y'all call me back and we get to the how
- 32:15Speaker 1: we do that we do? We will do a plank
- 32:19Speaker 1: on her bill and a couple of bills, show a
- 32:22Speaker 1: little what is the baddest radio show in the land,
- 32:32Speaker 1: The See Harved Morning Show? And look Tommy and hard
- 32:37Speaker 1: the mother looks sharing him, Look devil. She is so cute.
- 32:41Speaker 1: I love love. This is so y'all. I'm so sorry,
- 32:46Speaker 1: Please forgive me. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Maybe this story is just disgusting right here. Uh, if
- 33:00Speaker 1: you're recently bought a Fresh Express organic market side spring
- 33:05Speaker 1: mixed salad, you probably want to take a really close
- 33:09Speaker 1: look at the package. Fresh Express has issued a recall
- 33:13Speaker 1: of certain packages after a Florida Uh, some Florida diners,
- 33:18Speaker 1: A couple of Florida diners found a dead Are you
- 33:22Speaker 1: ready for this? A dead bat in their salad? B
- 33:26Speaker 1: a t bat? Okay, the recalls packages can't even that
- 33:34Speaker 1: band got in it got in the salad bowl before
- 33:36Speaker 1: they realized a bat was in the package. What yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 1: this is awful. This I told you it was disgusting.
- 33:48Speaker 1: According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the
- 33:52Speaker 1: pair started to chow down on the salad before discovering
- 33:56Speaker 1: uh the bat within a deteriorated con issuing. The dead
- 34:01Speaker 1: bat was sent to the CDC lab to check for rabies,
- 34:05Speaker 1: while Fresh Express quickly recall the salads that were shipped
- 34:08Speaker 1: to Walmart stores in the southeastern US. I just how
- 34:15Speaker 1: does this happen? Heard of billy? I'm bad. I ain't
- 34:20Speaker 1: need no salads for a couple of weeks right now,
- 34:22Speaker 1: because when that's said, when I tell you what, when
- 34:23Speaker 1: he was getting tossed up in that salad, he was
- 34:26Speaker 1: pissing all over the place, but everywhere, trying to tell you,
- 34:35Speaker 1: I don't understand this, but they didn't see it. How
- 34:40Speaker 1: does this happen? Oh, he's been into a bat wing man.
- 34:54Speaker 1: That's nasty. Nothing anymore. Every somebody at the re to
- 35:00Speaker 1: run getting the ass, that's all. Whoever waitress in the kitchen,
- 35:09Speaker 1: I start with the waiter in the kitchen, just because
- 35:14Speaker 1: they had to see it before they put it in
- 35:17Speaker 1: the salad ball. This is crazy. And I walked in
- 35:22Speaker 1: the kitchen, real cop. Oh man, my salad, Oh my god,
- 35:25Speaker 1: I'd love to meet who does salads. As soon as
- 35:30Speaker 1: they raise their hand, the tone changes. Oh you though,
- 35:37Speaker 1: ohe you the blanket and black? Yeah, that that was
- 35:41Speaker 1: really badgusting. Yeah, well, swing it over to Miss and
- 35:48Speaker 1: so we get caught up on the latest overnight developments
- 35:50Speaker 1: from the White House. And this is the first time
- 35:53Speaker 1: we've ever done news at every day. It's some news
- 35:58Speaker 1: out the White House. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, Miss and Trew. Okay,
- 36:05Speaker 1: thank you, Steve Money, everybody. Yes, there's news every day
- 36:08Speaker 1: out of the White House, and some other news as well.
- 36:11Speaker 1: We had a lot of stuff going on yesterday. First
- 36:13Speaker 1: of all, shooting at an elementary school in San Bernardino, California,
- 36:17Speaker 1: took place yesterday. Two adults and one eight year old
- 36:20Speaker 1: student were killed, then another child hospitalized still this morning.
- 36:24Speaker 1: A faris say that a man walked into his estrange
- 36:26Speaker 1: wife's special needs elementary school classroom and opened fire. He
- 36:30Speaker 1: killed his wife, he mortally wounded the little boy and
- 36:33Speaker 1: injured a nine year old another child before turning the
- 36:36Speaker 1: gun and himself and a murder suicide. So police say
- 36:38Speaker 1: this was no Sandy hook. The children. We do not
- 36:41Speaker 1: believe we're targeted. They were. The entire incident was limited
- 36:43Speaker 1: to a single classroom, was on the school campus. The
- 36:47Speaker 1: suspect had come to the classroom to visit um the female,
- 36:51Speaker 1: the adult female that was in the classroom. We believe
- 36:53Speaker 1: that two children were the unfortunate recipients of injuries by
- 36:58Speaker 1: being in proximity to the female. One child, as I said,
- 37:02Speaker 1: remains hospitalized. Please say, the teacher of fifty three year
- 37:04Speaker 1: old Elane Smith had only married this guy a few
- 37:07Speaker 1: months ago, and she was telling friends that he suddenly changed.
- 37:10Speaker 1: He just suddenly changed him. I guess she was fearful
- 37:12Speaker 1: of him, and I guess it looks like she was right.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Alabama Governor Robert Bentley's resigned. Bentley was accused of abusing
- 37:18Speaker 1: his office to try and conceal the affair he was
- 37:20Speaker 1: having with the staffer. He was facing impeachment anyway. Bentley's
- 37:23Speaker 1: pled guilty to two misdemeanor charges. High level officials from
- 37:27Speaker 1: the Group of Seven Industrialized Nations were gathered in Italy
- 37:30Speaker 1: yesterday along Secretary State Rex Tillson all focused on trying
- 37:34Speaker 1: to convince Russia to end its support of the Syrian regime.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Moscow is accused of being complicit, basically in last week's
- 37:40Speaker 1: horrendous chemical attacks on Syrian civilians, which are said to
- 37:43Speaker 1: have been carried out by forces loyal to President Bashira
- 37:47Speaker 1: sat and those attacks killed more than eighty people, many
- 37:50Speaker 1: of them children. Secretary State Tilson, by the way, he's
- 37:52Speaker 1: doing Moscow later today, he's not actually scheduled to meet
- 37:55Speaker 1: with Vladimir Putin. A lot of people all over the
- 37:58Speaker 1: world talking about this. When passengers of body United Airlines
- 38:01Speaker 1: flight schedule fly to Kentucky from Chicago, horrid fight Sunday
- 38:05Speaker 1: night when a man was forcibly pulled out of his
- 38:07Speaker 1: seat dragged off the plane in order to provide a
- 38:09Speaker 1: seat for an airline employee. This is what it sounded like.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh my god, my god, what are
- 38:23Speaker 1: you doing? This is what's doing? Oh my god, look
- 38:27Speaker 1: at what you're doing. And the man said that he
- 38:32Speaker 1: was a doctor. He couldn't get off the flight. Flight
- 38:34Speaker 1: was overbooked apparently, and they wanted seats for some airline
- 38:37Speaker 1: employees who had to make it to the next city,
- 38:39Speaker 1: and they offered people four hundred dollars and eight hundred
- 38:41Speaker 1: dollars to give up their seats. They didn't have any takers,
- 38:43Speaker 1: so people on the plane apparently picked randomly for people
- 38:47Speaker 1: to go. This particular gentleman said, look, I'm a doctor,
- 38:49Speaker 1: have patience to see in the morning. I can't give
- 38:51Speaker 1: up my seat, and airline police got on and took
- 38:55Speaker 1: him off. Now, spokesperson for the airline, United Airline says
- 38:58Speaker 1: that he's he's sorry, he's going to do a detailed
- 39:02Speaker 1: review of what happened, and one of the airline employees
- 39:05Speaker 1: who have dragged this guy off has been suspended. This
- 39:08Speaker 1: is Antwerp on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Thank you, missying.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Uh you know what, We had some really good calls,
- 39:14Speaker 1: some great calls last week, so we wanted to extend
- 39:17Speaker 1: this question of the week. Have you ever dated your
- 39:20Speaker 1: co worker or your boss? Did the people know about
- 39:23Speaker 1: it or did you guys try to keep it a secret?
- 39:26Speaker 1: Eight seven seven, Steve, what was that sorry about? Have
- 39:30Speaker 1: you ever wanted anybody on this show? No? Sorry, Tommy,
- 39:37Speaker 1: deal with it? What Carl of the War won't won't
- 39:40Speaker 1: save Oh lord? Many ways? Can I say a boy.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I don't want you. What what am I doing to
- 39:51Speaker 1: make you think that? So I can stop? I'm convinced, Carl,
- 39:57Speaker 1: I believe you girl. What am I doing? I don't
- 40:02Speaker 1: make eye contact with you. Tom, You're scared to look
- 40:04Speaker 1: at my look at my eyes and read my lips.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I don't want you to make eye contact with somebody
- 40:13Speaker 1: shouted when I'm looking down at you tall. Yeah, I
- 40:20Speaker 1: can't believe you don't see it all? Yeah? How you
- 40:27Speaker 1: don't see all that sitting over there? All it is?
- 40:33Speaker 1: Look at me. I'm looking at you. I'm looking at
- 40:37Speaker 1: wanted a shout leg man on you know where with
- 40:40Speaker 1: a hot butt plummeted. Alright, The butterfly or oatmeal is
- 40:56Speaker 1: up next. You're listening, even harty, morning shout, We're back
- 41:02Speaker 1: coming up next to butterfly blog. Eugena Oldmeal is up next.

- 41:08Speaker 1: Bling Bling Blog. Did he change it? Yeah? Change it
- 41:12Speaker 1: to the morning I think the Morning Grill blog or
- 41:16Speaker 1: the butterfly Butterfly blog. We don't know. Look at you,
- 41:27Speaker 1: get moody, get more to hus's really cording you, Hammy
- 41:34Speaker 1: and you j good morning here, everybody in the building.

- 45:38Speaker 1: four minutes after that, we're back. We're going to the
- 45:40Speaker 1: Phone's question of the day is have you ever had
- 45:41Speaker 1: a fan with somebody in the office of co worker?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Thought about it? How they go didn't work out? Did
- 45:46Speaker 1: you make the move? Eight? Something? Seven? Nine? Okay? Our
- 45:57Speaker 1: question of the week is about co workers on the
- 46:01Speaker 1: job together. Okay, do you have an office romance with
- 46:04Speaker 1: your coworker or with your boss? Have you ever dated?
- 46:07Speaker 1: Call us? Eight seven seven twine Steve wasn't a secret
- 46:10Speaker 1: or did everyone? No? Line three, let's go to Sam
- 46:13Speaker 1: out of d C. I good morning, morning, crew. I
- 46:17Speaker 1: don't want to say names because I might forget somebody.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, good morning, hey girl. Saying family
- 46:24Speaker 1: a pseudonym to protect the innocent. So I had three,
- 46:31Speaker 1: but I'm gonna condense it down to two. Um. The
- 46:34Speaker 1: first one was some years ago. UM it was my
- 46:37Speaker 1: manager and UM, I had no idea. Just somewhere, out
- 46:43Speaker 1: of the blue, my manager just started wanting to give
- 46:46Speaker 1: me money. I was a single parent at the time,
- 46:49Speaker 1: so I did take the money. As far as I know,
- 46:51Speaker 1: nobody knew about it. He started taking me out the
- 46:53Speaker 1: restaurants and things like that, but he was married, and
- 46:57Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, this has had to stop.
- 47:00Speaker 1: And then one day I was working late in the office.
- 47:02Speaker 1: It was just here and I in the office, and
- 47:04Speaker 1: he came over, um to my desk to um try
- 47:08Speaker 1: and kiss me. And I ran and I was like,
- 47:10Speaker 1: you know, what that's it. That's it. And I told him,
- 47:12Speaker 1: if you don't stop, I'm sorry I took your money.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Yes I did. I took it. I'm sorry I took
- 47:18Speaker 1: your money. But if you don't stop, them going to
- 47:19Speaker 1: EO on you, and it's it stopped. The second one,
- 47:24Speaker 1: we had worked together for like eighteen years, and my
- 47:28Speaker 1: my um my co workers kept saying, oh, look girl,
- 47:32Speaker 1: he's looking at you. He's looking at y'all. Know what
- 47:33Speaker 1: y'all do, y'all work and leave me alone. And then
- 47:36Speaker 1: they was like, look, look, look I would look over
- 47:38Speaker 1: and even wave. I will wave And we ended up
- 47:41Speaker 1: getting married. So we've been mad for twenty one years. Okay, okay, Sam,
- 47:49Speaker 1: Yeah that was a happy ending. Yeah yeah, because I
- 47:53Speaker 1: tell you, I was only two thirty back when the
- 47:59Speaker 1: man at Jerry was trying to and I think he
- 48:01Speaker 1: wants to be about fifty five or sixty, I don't know,
- 48:04Speaker 1: but I'm like, you know what, if I ever get married,
- 48:07Speaker 1: I don't want the law reciprocity to run after me,
- 48:10Speaker 1: So let me leave this man alone. But we never
- 48:13Speaker 1: I never and you never gave him his money his
- 48:17Speaker 1: money back. I didn't give him. I intended to but
- 48:20Speaker 1: I never gave his money back. That's why he old
- 48:24Speaker 1: he was old that kiss, because he didn't get that
- 48:26Speaker 1: money back and you didn't. And the second one, you
- 48:30Speaker 1: didn't notice him looking at you for real, you didn't
- 48:32Speaker 1: know you were You weren't just trying to play hard
- 48:34Speaker 1: to get well because you were in petition where he
- 48:39Speaker 1: said and where my co workers said they could see him,
- 48:41Speaker 1: but I couldn't see him. Okay, So when they kept
- 48:46Speaker 1: kept egging me on to say, oh, he's looking at you,
- 48:49Speaker 1: he looks girl, do your word, and and then but
- 48:55Speaker 1: now I finally did look, you know, because you know,
- 48:58Speaker 1: they keep messing with you and I it look. He'd wave, wave,
- 49:01Speaker 1: and I'm like, okay, fine whatever, you know whatever. But
- 49:07Speaker 1: we did ended up going in our first date. We
- 49:09Speaker 1: did ended up like just walking to the mall, just
- 49:12Speaker 1: through the mall when the mall was closed. But yeah,
- 49:14Speaker 1: like I said, we've been married twenty one years. Wow. Okay, Yeah,
- 49:22Speaker 1: that's that's kind of like Steve your story of variation
- 49:25Speaker 1: of the girl that you just kept walking by saying
- 49:27Speaker 1: I love you, and she was she was ignoring you.
- 49:32Speaker 1: It is like that. None of that, no, no, no, no,
- 49:37Speaker 1: how it started your marriage at all time. Mine was
- 49:42Speaker 1: none but damn or one of the sixty nine relationship. No.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I didn't see no bright future. And I ain't never
- 49:51Speaker 1: think we was going on where I knew what it was.
- 49:53Speaker 1: That's all right, Yeah, all right, thank you, all right, Sam,
- 50:05Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. You guys. Have a wonderful day, sweetie.
- 50:10Speaker 1: And y'all we come back after the breaking four day
- 50:12Speaker 1: after that time, we got a break phone call. We'll
- 50:14Speaker 1: be back you. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Uh

- 58:31Speaker 1: me work, Baby is coming. It's coming June at the
- 58:34Speaker 1: Dallas Convention Center Arena. Are you you're listening to the
- 58:40Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's that time, y'all. Buckle up,
- 58:47Speaker 1: hold on time, straw very letter. Alright, sexy nephew, thank you,
- 58:52Speaker 1: subject my mother in law or me. Good morning, Steve, Carlins,
- 58:57Speaker 1: Shirley and nephew Tommy. I will get directly to the
- 58:59Speaker 1: point of the letter. My wife and I started dating
- 59:03Speaker 1: in September and finally got married. We were only dating
- 59:06Speaker 1: seven months before her mother moved in with us. We
- 59:10Speaker 1: were only dating seven months before her mother moved in
- 59:13Speaker 1: with us. Remind you her mother does not have any illness, sickness,
- 59:18Speaker 1: no problems. She works every day and has no bills.
- 59:21Speaker 1: But when I mentioned to my wife that I would
- 59:23Speaker 1: like to have our family and our house to ourselves,
- 59:27Speaker 1: she tells me, my mother don't have to go anywhere.
- 59:30Speaker 1: She told me if I wanted her mom to move,
- 59:32Speaker 1: then I need to buy a house so she and
- 59:35Speaker 1: I and our twelve year old daughter could move into.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I understand that I moved from another state to be
- 59:40Speaker 1: with her. She already had her own home and I
- 59:43Speaker 1: moved in. So now I'm being told that the only
- 59:46Speaker 1: way her mother could leave if I purchased another house.
- 59:49Speaker 1: But I feel as the husband, I don't get any respect.
- 59:52Speaker 1: She talks to me like I'm a child, and whenever
- 59:55Speaker 1: she gets mad, I'm degraded to the fullest, fullest extent.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Please help me. I'm so frustrated. Wow, a lot of
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: stuff going on out there. I mean, this is just
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: another case to me of a of a brother trying
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: to do the right thing and his trip and wife
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: not wanting to work with him. I mean, so what,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: it was her house first and you moved in with her.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You guys are married now, and that's what you're supposed
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: to do, move in together. What should it matter? You know,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: after you're married, whose house it is? The problem to
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: me is that your wife still thinks that it's all
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: about her. It's just her house. She hasn't made the
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: transition to being a married lady and sharing what happened
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: to it being our house. Now we're married, these things
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: are ours now. Uh, and now her mother is there,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: and that's just complicating the whole thing. It seems like
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: they're kind of ganging up on you, trying to force
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: you to buy them a house or something. Uh. She's
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: putting everybody, your wife is and everything before you and
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: the marriage. And in that sense, this marriage is not
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: gonna work, especially with her mother living there. And she's
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: perfectly fine and she could live on her own. This
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: marriage is in trouble. Um, this marriage is in some
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: serious trouble, and uh, your wife is putting it in jeopardy.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you to do necessarily.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I mean, it would be a great thing if you
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: could afford to uh save and buy you guys your
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: own house, so your wife wouldn't do that. But right
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: now you can't do that. So you gotta do something
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: to get your respect back as a man and as
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the husband. Steve, I disagree with you, Shirley to a degree.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Some of the stuff you said I agree with, but
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: I have to say I disagree with you all this.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I'll tell you why. Okay, I know what you're saying,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and that once you get married, that everything becomes hours
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and hours and it shouldn't matter. The problem is it
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: doesn't matter. See here's here's a problem that this gentleman
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: has created for himself. And I hope he don't get mad.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: But brother, I'm just gonna tell you the truth. The
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: problem you created for yourself. You moved out of state
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: to be with this woman and her twelve year old daughter. See,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: she was single, head of the household before she met you.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: She is accustomed and used to running things. Most women,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I will give the credit to most women, refused to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: step back because they've been disappointed when men don't step up,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: so they've taken it all on themselves as they've been
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: forced to do. Now you come along, y'all, fall in love,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: and you get married. You move out of state into
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: a house that she didn't work and paid for, and Bob,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: she decides to move her mother in. For whatever the reason,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I don't know. You didn't put it in the letter.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: We can't speculate, but the mother moves in. Uh my
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: hold hold Oh, oh I see something in the letter
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I didn't see. Oh, this is worse for you, don't
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you says, we were only dating seven months before her
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: mother moved in with us. Hold up, part, so you
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: was living there dating you weren't married then, according to
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: your letter, we were only dating seven months before her
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: mother moved in with us. Okay, her mother moved in
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: with you after y'all have been dating, then, I'm assuming
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you got married after that. Okay, all right, no problem,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: you says, but she's not sick of anything like that. Okay. Now,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: then you mentioned to your wife that I would like
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to have our family and our house to ourselves. She
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: tells me that my mother don't have to go nowhere.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: She told me if I wanted her mom to move,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: then I need to buy a house so she, I
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: and I twelve your daughter could move into. Okay, now, brother,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: do you understand see this is you see you trying
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: to arm trick quarterback on Monday that whatever made her
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: mom move in, you was cool with that or you
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: accepted that that was your chance as the man to say,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: hold on, I'm gonna I'm gonna get your mama an
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: apartment or something or something like that. All hey, if
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: your mama move in, then we got to buy our
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: own house because I want my family to live under
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: my dominion and our rule, and I don't want to
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: live under you and your mama's rule. You didn't state that.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Now I'm running out of time while I can't really
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: get into this for your player, but I'm gonna come
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: back and I'm explained to you how this is really
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: working for you and how really man, you almost you
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: almost gonna have to eat this, almost, but I have
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: a solution for you. But you almost gonna have to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: eat this. You will have to eat this for a
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: little while. All right after the break of eighteen, after
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: the hour of Steve's response to today's Strawberry letter. You're
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: listening to Steve are y'all back, Welcome to the show
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: port Tuitor letter right after this, I'm just I don't know.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: I'm one day checked, not yet. I'm blessed, Yes, I'm less.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Here's a problem with this letter, young man. The whole
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: problem is you went in in a weak position. You
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: entered into this whole deal in a weak position. First
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: of all, you moved from out of state dating the
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: woman living in her house. Her house, really, dog, it
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: ain't yours, it's her house. You was just dating. She
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: bought that house. You moved back dated then you got married.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: You're married for seven months. She decided to move your mommy,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: and she must have said something to and you must
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: have said okay or whatever if it was an argument.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: The mother's in the house. Now. Now you didn't have
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: enough of this because it's disrespectful because now you want
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: your family to live on your own house, which is
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: the way it's supposed to be. You should absolutely want that.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Now here's here's your problem. You go to her and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: you tell your wife that you won't the mama out.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: The mama tells you that the only way that her
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: mother could leave is if I purchased another home. It's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: what your letters say. When in truth, brother, your shoot
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: you can get her mama out there if you purchased
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: a home. So you keep talking like another home, like
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: you didn't bought two houses. You ain't bought two houses.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: See you bought one. You ain't bought a house yet.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: But now you're trying to call some shots. I understand
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: that you're married. Now. You would think, though that the
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: mother in law should be a woman enough to allow
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: her daughter to have her own life. But see this, mama,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: like so many mom in laws, ain't got no life,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: so now she's gonna have y'all's life. See that's one
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: of the big problems right here. And then her daughter
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: trying to flex and show mama she got to go
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and cause that's been a girl the whole time. Now
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: she ain't putting out. But see here's the problem. You
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: can't control your wife's actions, and you can't control your mother's,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: but you can't control yours. So when y'all dated and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: you accepted it, now you're married, you don't want it
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: no more. So now here's the only thing you can do.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: You can step up and put your foot down. You
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: can you see, you can be your own man in
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: a small apartment in some way yourself, because if you're
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: gonna sit here and allow people to disrespect you, talk
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: to you like a child. When you know you're a man,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: even though you went in in a weak position, it
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: ain't ever too late to be a man. You can
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: be a man in your own own small apartment that's
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: yours until you get yourself on your feet and you
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: can buy yourself a house. Then you want to be
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: my wife and bring your twilve year old dought over
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: here that we can go and do this thing. But
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: in the meantime, I'm gonna go somewhere where I can
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: beat a man. Oh I messed up in the beginning,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: My bad, I thought it. You know, manhood is tough
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: to learn sometimes. But you can make that adjustment. Or
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: you can offer to buy her mother a small apartment
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: somewhere close by. Pay the rent for her mamma to
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: have a small apartment because her mama don't deserve no
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: damn house. Her mama ain't work for no damn house,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: ain't married nobody. Well, you know, nice guys, this is
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: what happened to you at one point in time. You
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: gotta be a man. Put your foot down. Why no,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: mama moved around the corner in a small apartment, but
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: your wife then told you she ain't going nowhere. Do
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you buy us another house? Well, you ain't got the
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: money for another house right now, but I bet you
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: got money for a small studio apartment where you can
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: go be a man all day long and now buy
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: your damn self all right. Today's Strawberry letters posted on
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Steve Harvey dot com. You can tweet or instagram me
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: your thoughts at my girls Shirley coming up after the
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: break of thirty four after the hour of myth and
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: will be here with this hour's news and some headlines.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: thirty fol y'all, we're back, coming up missing and standing
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: by with this. Uh I was a national news all right, ch'all,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: she's here with today's national news and headlines. Good morning,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: miss Anne, Good morning, Steve, Good morning, everybody out there.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Shirley carl a time junior. Everyone out there. This is
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Andrew with news and good morning. Shooting at an elementary
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: school in San Bernardino, California, yesterday has left two adults
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: and an eight year old student dead and another child hospitalized.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Authorities say that a man walked into his strange wife's
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: special needs elementary school classroom and opened fired, killing his wife,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: mortally wounding a little boy and injuring a nine year
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: old before turning the gun on himself and a murder suicide. UH.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: One child remains hospitalized this morning. Police say the teacher
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: of fifty three year old Elane Smith had only married
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: this guy a few months ago and then told Frenzi
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: suddenly changed and that crazy, and then she got she
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: was frightened. And I guess for a good reason. She
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: just married him a few months ago. A lot of
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: people all over the world are talking about this one.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Passengers aboard the United Airlines flight were horrified Sunday night
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: when a man was forcibly pulled out of his seat
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: and dragged off the plane in order to provide a
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: seat for an airline employee. And that's what it sounded like.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Passengers say. The staff first asked for volunteers to take
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the flight the next day because they needed four seats
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: four airline employees, promising four hundred bucks in a free
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: hotel room and then eight hundred dollars, but there were
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: no takers. After that, they say, a plane staff picked
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: four people out for removal, including a man they dragged
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: off and his wife. There's an online call for boycotting
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: United Airlines, especially in China. Since the man was Chinese,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: he was a doctor. He feels he was targeted for
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: removal because he was Asian, and air traffic consumer activists
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: points out that airlines actually have the right to eject
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: the passenger if they feel they need to. However, United
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: says it's conducting a detailed review of what happened. Yeah,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: they're reaching out to the ejected passenger. One of the
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: airline officers involved has been placed on leave, and the
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: head of United is apologizing to the customers that there
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: was just an awful scene. Doctor's face bloodied, his glasses
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: askew dragged down. Yet, yeah, and actually it was. I've
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: never seen anything like that in my life. I hope
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: never to see it again. Okay. In South Carolina, Dylan Roof,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: he admitted white racist who callously gunned down nine black
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: churchgoers during Bible study, pled guilty yesterday to state murder
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: charges and exchange for nine life sentences instead of the
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: death penalty. As part of this guy's plea, he waived
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: his right to appeals and we'll be transferred to a
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: federal lock up. Neil Gorstitch has finally taking his seat
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: on the U Supreme Court, bringing it back to its
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: full nine justice strength and cementing the high courts five
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: to four right wing majority. Alabama Governor Robert Bentley resigned yesterday.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Bentley was accused of abusing his office to try and
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: conceal in the fair he was having with a staffer,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and he was facing impeachment anyway. He's pled guilty to
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: two misdemeanor charges. And today is be kind to Lawyer's
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Day National eight Track Day. Remember those eight tracks? Wow?
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Those in and out. I don't know they would like
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: in it and you had to throw them all out.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: And now today if your name is Louis, you need
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to know this also, Louis LOUI, we gotta go back
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. That Ryan alright saying,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: coming up, we're gonna be talking about taxes. Don't go anywhere,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Steve taxes. Yeah, that's what we're talking about. And also
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: we're taking more of your phone calls about office romance requestions.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I have to hold it over so more. We'll be
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: back at eight after the hour. That's more. Coming back.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up next
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: I X text tax deadline is one week away. Coming
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: up next, we'll tell you about the most commonly made
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: tax mistakes that people are making. Right after this, I'm
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: just gonna tasna trade. It is tax season, don't we know,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: And we're gonna tell you about the most common mistakes
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: people make with the I R s. Okay, Steve didn't ye,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: they ain't send him something something, But make contact, don't
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: play them off, don't ignore and do something anything. Sorry,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: I'm sick, I was ill, I was under the talk
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: to some damn body. Don't try to play them people.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: They do not go away. If you get a letter
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: with red on it, red, yeah, no red, it's read
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: the whole letter birds dog, you get that? Wow? I
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: suggest going down completing your cake. Win a check for
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: at least a hundred navy Look like you fit to
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: do something? Okay, just start start writing to check with
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: a one and a eight in front of it and
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: one zero. You may have to add zero what it needs.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Act like you was coming. See if they're one eighty ago.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: You know. If that don't work, you need to make
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: it an opter for eighteen hunting. You don't fly put
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: another zero on and give him eighteen. But hand him something.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: You got to give him something that It's gonna be
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: hard to come over that eighteen thousand. But you got
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: about three days. So what can you do in three
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: days to get eighteen thousand dollars sale drugs? You know,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: let's go to the question of the week. This is
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: so much fun. We had to hold it over for
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: a second week. Have you ever dated a coworker or
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: a boss. Did you keep your relationship hidden or did
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: other people at the office were they in your business?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, let's go to line
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: one and talk to Ted Ted third. I'm good man,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: what's going on with your Ted New York tad? How
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: we're looking with somebody at the office? Ever wanted to,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: ever thought about it would happened? Well, we were in
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the post office and the lady was the timekeeper. Her
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: husband worked over and he was a letter carrying Jericho.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: I worked racking letters in Hicksville, and so we became involved,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: and uh ended up. She became my my daughter's mother.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Her husband somewhere, her husband worked in uh sees the
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Hicksville the Hicksville Post Office and Jericho carriers were in
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: that office, so her husband worked right there in the office.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: So we became involved and end up. I guess it's
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the fact that I broke up the family because like
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I said, she came with me, became my daughter's mother,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: and uh the lasorship carried over to the fact that, Uh,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I realized why her husband let her go so easy.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: This woman was one that never realized happiness, you know,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: So I ended up having to stay there until my
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: daughter got out of college because I knew if I left,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: she would try to make my daughter hate me. You
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: know what. Yeah, you stayed eighteen years eighteen No, it
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: was basically over twenty because, like I said, I stayed
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: till my daughter got out of college, make sure she
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: got to where she was supposed to be. Because the
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: hartest part was the woman was white. Said he would
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: have been okay with it for leaving him because it
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: was for a white guy, but he had issues of
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: being men. This is so deep, this is heavy. Yeah,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: he didn't got so differently? What else I had for
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: h what's that? What did you say? O? The kids
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: and the other marriage. So then white kids and the
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: other one. Huh so one of them didn't want to
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: associate at all because of being me. The other three
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: were kind of cool with it. Yeah. The other kids Caucasians. Yes, yes,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: your daughter, your daughter got three uh, white siblings. Yeah.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: So she used to go to like a birthday party
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: for them, and they used to think she was the help. Wow,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: so this is not her daughter, it's your daughter, it's
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: their daughter. Yeah, yeah, it's our daughter. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: their daughter. But they think they think your daughter work
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: at the house. Yeah, when she went to their house
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: at a party or something, they were asking how to
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: get stuff. He would have to explain to him, No,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I'm I'm just sister. Yeah, but they were asking her
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: to bring them some champagne and stuff like that and
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: pick up the trash around here. That after they watched
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the kids but ted you said something interesting, you said.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: You said that she was just an unhappy person, this woman. Yeah,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: one of those glooming doing people. You know, they always
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: see the bad side of it. Like I started a
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: ski business, right, a black man to start business like
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: way off get rich, queen to get rich, scheme that
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: would never work, and so I beat myself to death
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: making sure this thing works. You know. Now it's the
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: internet business. Like yesterday, I just had my last ski trip.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: What is skiing business? Taking people skiing? H what is
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: the ski business? I like to make more, get more
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: brothers and sisters on the mountain because it's a very
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: good winner's board. Okay, you know I know a lot
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: of people who ski a little bit Long Island in
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: New York in my business. Calm about this. Congratulations, I
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. You know what I got one last
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: thing to ask you. See, I went to the tryout
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: audition for at Night. I went to audition for Amateur
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Night right at the Apotum, right, but I got hurt,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: like twelve years ago on uh one of my key trips.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: So I got my arm in the swing and put
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: the molders in you, Steve, and they like they ex
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: me because I'm handicap. No, no, no, yeah. They blazed
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: on the head Captain spa your field with my radio
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: on and the sound of music. You know it's my
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: That's why they ex your Alright, thank you dad, Polish
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: white folks. I'm on the top and know him to bottom.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I'm the only world got him. Everybody know that's the
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: good deal. Thank you. Thanks Ted. You're listening to the
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, we're going to the phone.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Our office romance question of the week has been extended
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: because it was so hot, just like maybe your office
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: romance on with your coworker or your boss. Did everyone
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: know about it or did you keep it a secret
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: or did you think it was a secret? Call us
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: eight seven seven, Steve, we want to hear about it.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Let's go to the phones. Yes, Steve, okay, Yeah, let's
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: go to the phone. Go ahead, all right, let's go
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: to line too and talk to slam out of d C.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I'm a black man, got because I s speed up
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: into a tree, slammed it so hard nobody saw me
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: when the white folks came and said, a black man
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: trying to ski. I'm a black man on some skis,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: trying to get some mold brothers to sky with me.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Quite done, Let's go to line too. I can swim
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: out of DC. I love the name slim Man, a
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: white woe got one of them said, I'll be damn
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: it if I did. I'm not calling him nobody. I
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: want my regular daddy. I don't know the hell listen
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: God the fall the doctor to you there, he's stupid

- 1:24:13Speaker 1: to upset you. I don't want to. I already know
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: when we started talking about some cookie Tommy, you're gonna
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: jump in there. Yeah yeah, Steve, huh but yeah, man,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the thing was, man, I got murdered in there, right.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I got murdered too. No, I got she had the

- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Oh you were putting it down. Oh yeah, I put
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: it down like but see when you're locked up, it's
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: easy to put it down. Yeah yeah, yeah, Steve, they
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: got three thousand men. Somebody appeal to him in there. Well,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: um yeah, I'll just say something. The question is, have
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: you ever dated a co worker or your boss? Yeah?
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Time you're not on the pay roll, No, I'm not

- 1:26:34Speaker 1: and say, look, he's left. If you're the man I
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: know you are, I'm give you two options. I'm even
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: gotta find her because I can't add an other officers
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: thinking they can't go around in the jail, or you
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: got to get out of the jail. Which one you're
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: gonna take? I'll say, send me out of the jail man,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: because she got the income. And they sent me out
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: of jail days later. But get what he did. He
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: put it on my tier. He put it on my tail.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Put it last third day right there. Yeah, you was
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: right there on that same tier for the last third day,

- 1:28:05Speaker 1: I was doing the thing man fourteen years, slim fourteen years. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: fourteen years. The good thing about it is I'm still
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: mudded to the woman I murried, though. That is a
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: good thing. Good things. You ain't been back in there
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: s Oh no, No, I'm trying to say, Oh, Tommy,

- 1:29:25Speaker 1: should appreciate you. Man, Man, I respect your president. I
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: like what you're doing. Man, keep to head up. I
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: will thank you man. I love you boy. Okay, Man,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: y'all take care of you. Thank you. Slam you too.
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: Slam a good one. I don't know. I don't know
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: how they say buying the pin, but that's just thought.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: That was You're not in any boy, He's out, y'all.
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: Y'all understand. Sure they call y'all just had a pittent
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: your conversation with Slam. That was that still in? Oh? Okay?
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: For what can we just say this? Inmates and correctional
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: office are not coworkers. Let's just get that they're not.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I just want to let y'all know what the question
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: of the week is a coworker you're listening to show?
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: That was something? Huh? All right? Coming up next past
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: your motown deacon death jam and give me all me.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: He was like here again, late again, asked elbow, double
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: colic Reverend Molton. Yes, and I am the irresistable beacon
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: death jam that you're not. But we're gonna allow you
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: to see hang today's time for church complete. Yes, any
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: are complaints coming from this church? U and they expounded
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: a poem by our bolustrious deacon. Yeah, go ahead deal
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: ah hash that. Uh. We have a nineteen year old
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: DeMarcus and Williams ellis fine to know, Riley Singletary Witherspoon
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: ladermo Field does not know who his father is, so
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: he carries all the last possible names of the candidates.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: He's upset that in three o'clock service this past Sunday, Uh,
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: his full name was not in the program, as one
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: of the minds in the Man ministry, and he wants
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: an official apology this coming sound to this coming eastern
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Sunday past the ministry. That's nineteen year old Democats and
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Williams and finding riding finger tear it with the spoon
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: a lot of out. We're not putting all them damn
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: names in the program. We got all that needs to
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: be listed. And what we can't do is have one
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: mind taking up nine lines on a program. So we're
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: all I want to tell is or Demetrius or the
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: ninety year. Yeah, the mama has been a more repovershed
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: seven times. I think enough shame has been bought on
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: the family. You're not gonna know your daddy. So my
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: suggestion is the one you like the most and ride
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: with that next week. H now, pastor uh, govern yourself
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: and calling me with this now. Sister sister Zoanthea Figgins
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: is now fourteen months pregnant. She does not know why
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: the baby won't come out, she said. She uh. She
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: thinks the baby overheard the fact that she is behind
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: on rent and car note and don't want to have
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: anything to do with this foolish she said. Sister Figgins
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: would like you to get down there and talk the
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: baby out of the wound. Would you help out on that.
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: We need to kill this foolishness. I have told you
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: all that this woman is not pregnant. That's her stomach,
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: that's all that use. Let it go. I've seen her
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: coming out of every drive through round time. That is hard.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: This woman is not pregnant. We need to cut the
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: foolishness out and there will be no talking to no baby.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: That ain't down well, he wants you to get out
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: of here and talking. I'm not getting down there talking
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: to nothing cause that ain't no baby. All that food
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: that's in she could have something. If he would, she
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: would get a cold and clean. Oh mater D has
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: a cold and cleans. Have been on Steve Show for
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: about four years now. That's right, that's that twenty five
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: pounds of impacted waste that A D. Darker been talking about.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: Thank you Deacond. She's not pregnant. No, no, ma'am, nobody's
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: pregnant dead you got had the elephant buddy. M All right,
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: well we will come on d too much longer, all
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: right past your sister Ranita Thompson. It's saying she's not
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: just stop and take cold. I'm sorry, I'm not go
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: ahead of what come on coming, and you stopped me.
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: Sister Ranita Thompson is saying she's not having it this
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: Easter pastor. She is the one who has the son
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: with a D h D. MALIEK. Thompson. Last year, he
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: did uh, didn't get to finish his speech because in
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: the middle of it he started rapping Tupac lyrics, and
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: you stopped him right when he said, how do you
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: want it? Um, he is upset that he's not having
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: it this Easter. She wants you to let him finish
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: his entire Easter speak no matter boys, A d H
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: d H d A. He he can't pay attention to
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: a damn thing. Now. What we're not gonna do is
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: turn this into some pol concert by some ignorant boy
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: that wants to intertwine wrap into his Easter speech. Now,
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: if you got the stention span of a fruit fly,
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: let's give him a simple Easter speech this year your speech, boy,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: Since you can't pay attention long, it's gonna be Jesus Well,
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: you're listening all right, y'all Here we are. Thirty four
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: minutes after that, it's now time for them back to
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: back jail. Hey, y'all, coming up, we got time for
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: just one more thing. Uh, Sharla got a story about
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: a family member that criticizes a woman for what she
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: wanted to do. Win, You've got some interesting this This
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: is crazy though. You're listening to the Steve Hardy Show
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: for eight minutes after our Coming up next, we got
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: terref for just one more thing Shirley got a crazy
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: store force. Right after this all right, a British woman
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: shared on the Internet that she had worn the same
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: outfit to three weddings, two of which featured many of
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: the same guests. The woman's cousin told her it was
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: disrespectful and rude to wear the same outfit multiple times.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Folks on the internet sided with the woman, noting that
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: it's perfectly acceptable to recycled dresses. Plus men wear the
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: same thing all the time, and no one questions that
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: she did try to change things up with different handbags
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: and accessories. But apparently her choice of clothing really irked
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: a member of her family. After sending her some of
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: pictures of the affair, a cousin told her, it's a
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: shame you couldn't be bothered to wear something different. The
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: woman has been wondering whether or not she was really
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: in the wrong, but it turns out most people are
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: siding with her and think her cousin is nuts. And
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: I'm siding with you as well. You could wear whatever
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: you want to wear and it's not rude and it's
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: not disrespectful. Maybe that's the only dress she has, I mean,
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: but you know, I mean, she ain't in the win, right, right,
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: you're always a disrespectful though or rude. Come on, definitely
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: a ladies don't. Yeah, because men can wear the same
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: suit and change ties and they're good forever. If you
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: watch little big shots. Yeah, the same thing on every Sunday,
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: the same suit than the exact same thing than once
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: you just lied what it's made the same. It's not
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: the same suit. The suits are identical. Okay, you know,
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: just someone to go to cleaner. Sometimes I got another.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: I got four of just like that. It's like, I
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: see what you mean. If I have a dress, a
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: particular dress that I like, I may take it to
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: a dressmaker and say make this for me in this
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: color or something like that. Yeah, same dress, just a
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: different color. You're saying, same suit, same color. M Oh, yeah,
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: I do watch it. I haven't watched it. I didn't
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: watch you yesterday, but I do watch it. Yes, I
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: love it Sunday today to day. But the notices, right,
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't know. Well, now that you've mentioned it,
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: I'm looking for I'm gonna be looking. No. I always
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: wear a black suit, white shirt and black time. Oh
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: you said that, because if you if you don't want
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: to make thinking about you. It's about the kids. I
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: think I do remember you saying that one day. Yeah,
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: that's why you wear the same suit. Okay, that makes sense, Steve.
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: Make it about this cute, little, adorably talented little kids.
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: I got some talent, but she had a lot to
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: say about the woman in the same dress. So what
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: I wouldn't care because I'm gonna wear with my suit
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: and the Steve party, Tommy party, Oh y'all's party don't matter. Okay.
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: Now I got invited to a wedding UM and they
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: put on the invitation you have to wear earth tones okay,
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: like brown, like beiges, like um tans. And I was
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: struggling with that a little bit because you know, I
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: don't wear brown is not a color that I wear
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: a lot, and to wear to a party. I was like, Okay,
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: I'll try this. I mean, you know, try to go
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: along with what they ask you to do on the invitations. Yeah,
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: what color draws y'all will come from? You're talking about?
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: I'm just gonna I don't wear white draws. Do y'all
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: wear white? Drowne? Just black or nude? That's it? Black
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: or new? Yeah? You mean black or nothing? Nude color?
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: They got a nude color? Yeah? Just your Yeah, what
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: about your drawers? Called? I like black? And where are
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: you wearing? Yeah, we're underwear. We don't wear their panties
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: like yeah, yeah, I don't like I like yeah that too?
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: Yeah what else too? Yeah? But you asked the color? Okay,
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: yeah stupid? Huh? Either was either color you mean? Yeah?
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: I do? I told you black or new pennies all calls.
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: Eventually they're gonna end up thone. I hate you with
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: every fiber of my baby right now? Is this appropriate? Surely? No,
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: it's that this color drone. We told you the color.
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: That was enough, That was more than you needed to know.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: But no, he got to keep going this one, Yeah,
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: he got to keep going. I knew I was gonna
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: drag him in. We was talking about this woman at
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: the wedding, were the same dress? How do we get
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: to this? And then I mentioned I got an invitation
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: to wear earth tones to a party, and I was
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: struggling a little bit. Yeah, I would have been struggling
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: with that. Yeah. Yeah, but it's the challenge. I'll do
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: it yet, No, no, no, it's coming up, It's coming up. Yeah,
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: what kind of draws do you like a man to
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: help clean? Boxing? Yes, box of brief clean frish? What
