- 3:20Speaker 3: and it starts right now.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Story number one. We have new.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Breaking news and it deals with former President Joe Biden,
- 3:27Speaker 3: he ignored, We're now being told the Department of Justice's
- 3:31Speaker 3: warnings over legally flawed auto pen pardons. Senior Justice Department officials,
- 3:39Speaker 3: we're left scrambling to quote interpret the sweeping clemency orders
- 3:45Speaker 3: former President Joe Biden approved for thousands of federal convicts
- 3:49Speaker 3: in his final days and final hours in office, and
- 3:53Speaker 3: they chastised the White House for falsely portraying the releases
- 3:59Speaker 3: as limited to quote nonviolent offenders. This, according to internal emails,
- 4:06Speaker 3: have now been revealed. The records obtained by the Oversight
- 4:11Speaker 3: Project and reviewed by The Washington Examiner, now reveal that
- 4:16Speaker 3: former Associate Deputy Attorney General, the Department's top career official
- 4:21Speaker 3: at the time, Bradley Weinsheimer, raised alarms immediately after Biden
- 4:26Speaker 3: issued three auto pen sign warrants on January seventeenth, covering
- 4:33Speaker 3: nearly two thousand, five hundred inmates were now learning. In
- 4:40Speaker 3: a January eighteenth message to the White House Council and
- 4:44Speaker 3: the Department of Justice Office of the Partner Attorney, Weinsheimer
- 4:49Speaker 3: wrote that one warrant granted clemency for offenses described to
- 4:54Speaker 3: the Department of Justice was so vague it could not
- 4:58Speaker 3: be lawfully even carry out quote unquote. He went on
- 5:03Speaker 3: to say at the time, I think the language is
- 5:06Speaker 3: highly problematic, adding that to interpret the document properly, we
- 5:12Speaker 3: will need a statement or direction from President Biden. He
- 5:18Speaker 3: also suggested that Biden provide quote a list as to
- 5:22Speaker 3: each inmate listing the offenses that are covered by the commutation,
- 5:27Speaker 3: which he described as the clearest and least problematic alternative.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Moving forward, Weinsheimer and Biden needed to clarify the meaning
- 5:39Speaker 3: of the warrant language quote unquote, so the DOJ could
- 5:42Speaker 3: implement it in the manner intended, they claim by President
- 5:46Speaker 3: Joe Biden. Here is an exact quote from the email.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It said this. Given the above, I think it is
- 5:54Speaker 3: best that we receive a direct statement on direction from
- 5:59Speaker 3: President Biden as to the meaning of the warrant language.
- 6:02Speaker 3: This will then allow us to give full effect to
- 6:05Speaker 3: the commutation, warrant, and the manner intended by the President.
- 6:09Speaker 3: In the absence of such a statement or direction, I
- 6:12Speaker 3: am concerned option three above will be the interpretation that
- 6:16Speaker 3: it's given to the warrant. While that is a logical construction,
- 6:21Speaker 3: legally it can't possibly be what the President intended. So
- 6:27Speaker 3: I would like to avoid that outcome. One other important
- 6:32Speaker 3: note the email says, in communication about the commutations, the
- 6:37Speaker 3: White House has described those who receive commutations as people
- 6:41Speaker 3: convicted of nonviolent drug offenses. I think you should stop
- 6:46Speaker 3: saying that because it is untrue or at least misleading.
- 6:51Speaker 3: As you know, even with the exceedingly limited review we
- 6:56Speaker 3: were permitted to do of the individuals we believe you
- 6:59Speaker 3: might be considering for commutation action, we initially identified nineteen
- 7:05Speaker 3: that were quote highly problematic. That was based only upon
- 7:11Speaker 3: running our initial priority list against the list of those
- 7:15Speaker 3: who had submitted clemency petitions, a small percentage of the
- 7:19Speaker 3: overall total from the White House. Even in that number,
- 7:24Speaker 3: we identified violent offenders, including those who committed acts of
- 7:29Speaker 3: violence during the offense. Now, this is a screenshot of
- 7:34Speaker 3: a much longer email exchange. This email was directly warning
- 7:39Speaker 3: the Biden White House that its language about clemency subjects
- 7:43Speaker 3: was quote untrue or at least misleading. Weinsheimer also warned
- 7:49Speaker 3: the ambiguous order could unintentionally wipe away convictions for many
- 7:54Speaker 3: violent felons. He pushed back against the White House messaging
- 7:59Speaker 3: the clemency recipients were only nonviolent drug offenders. That's not true.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Among them, for example, was Russell Macintosh. Now this is
- 8:10Speaker 3: not someone you would ever describe as a quote nonviolent
- 8:14Speaker 3: drug offender. How do we know this? Russell killed a
- 8:18Speaker 3: woman and her two year old child to protect his
- 8:22Speaker 3: drug business. Stephen Fowler, whose enforcer tortured an informant with
- 8:29Speaker 3: a but tane torch, and Plays Anderson, a gangster's disciple member,
- 8:36Speaker 3: was implicated in multiple murders and multiple kidnappings. This according
- 8:43Speaker 3: to a commutation's receipt page from the Department of Justice.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Now all of the people I just named those are
- 8:50Speaker 3: not nonviolent drug offenders, as the White House claimed. And
- 8:54Speaker 3: despite these warnings, the White House released his statement in
- 8:57Speaker 3: Biden's name, touting ask commutations as relief for quote non
- 9:04Speaker 3: violent drug offenses and saying it was the largest clemency
- 9:09Speaker 3: action in US history that we apparently were supposed to
- 9:13Speaker 3: celebrate it well. In July, in the interview with The
- 9:17Speaker 3: New York Times, I want to remind you, Biden insisted
- 9:20Speaker 3: he personally made all clemency decisions, calling Republican claims that
- 9:26Speaker 3: AIDS misused the autopen ridiculous end quote false. Now I'm
- 9:32Speaker 3: at scrutiny of his aid's use of the automated signature
- 9:37Speaker 3: device to place his name on the pardon documents. Biden
- 9:40Speaker 3: said he approved broad categories of inmates and left staff
- 9:45Speaker 3: to apply those standards, defending using an autopen as a
- 9:50Speaker 3: practical tool to process the sheer volume of cases. However,
- 9:57Speaker 3: the DOJ emails illustrated that inside of Biden's administration, officials
- 10:03Speaker 3: were at least at the very least very uncertain about
- 10:08Speaker 3: what Biden was actually ordering them to do, and were
- 10:12Speaker 3: forced to openly challenge the accuracy of the White House's
- 10:16Speaker 3: public explanation about what they were executing. Now, Weinsheimer previously
- 10:22Speaker 3: accused of loyalty to biden administration. He has had warnings,
- 10:27Speaker 3: by the way, are notable. Why because given his long
- 10:31Speaker 3: reputation as quote a non political DOJ official a career
- 10:36Speaker 3: ethics lawyer, he was previously accused, in fact by Republicans
- 10:41Speaker 3: of playing it behind the scenes role in shaping what
- 10:44Speaker 3: critics derived as Hunter Biden's sweetheart plea deal while his
- 10:50Speaker 3: father was the President of the United States of America.
- 10:52Speaker 3: So you need to know that to put it in perspective.
- 10:55Speaker 3: In fact, according to multiple reports, Weinsheimer met directly with
- 11:01Speaker 3: the first son Hunter Biden's Defense Council in twenty twenty three.
- 11:07Speaker 3: This is a move that raised questions about whether the
- 11:10Speaker 3: DOJ's leadership was actually undermining former US Attorney David Weiss's
- 11:16Speaker 3: purported independence in that entire case. Now, his career at
- 11:20Speaker 3: the DOJ ended with a partisan dispute in February, shortly
- 11:25Speaker 3: after Donald Trump returned to office, the administration reassigned him
- 11:29Speaker 3: to a new Sanctuary City's task force. Rather than accept
- 11:34Speaker 3: the politically charge assignment, Weinsheimer accepted a federal employee buyout,
- 11:39Speaker 3: part of a broader wave of career officials who resisted
- 11:42Speaker 3: what they viewed as attempts they claimed to politicize the
- 11:45Speaker 3: DOJ's work altogether. So if you look at exactly what
- 11:50Speaker 3: we now know, it is clear that there were efforts
- 11:53Speaker 3: that are happening right now to recover additional records related
- 11:58Speaker 3: to the oversights projects, pursuit of the internal DOJ emails
- 12:02Speaker 3: to the White House, and that is ongoing. And also
- 12:06Speaker 3: the email exchange that we just mentioned that was revealed
- 12:10Speaker 3: on Tuesday, we now know was released by the Office
- 12:13Speaker 3: of Ed Martin. That is Trump's appointees serving as the
- 12:16Speaker 3: US Parton Attorney and head of the DOJ Anti Weaponization Group.
- 12:22Speaker 3: So yes, even more evidence is coming out that not
- 12:26Speaker 3: only did Joe Biden ignore his own Department of Justice
- 12:29Speaker 3: warnings over his legally flawed auto pen pardons, but they
- 12:33Speaker 3: just didn't care and they were giving them out to
- 12:36Speaker 3: people that were violent criminals, not non violent offenders, as
- 12:41Speaker 3: the White House claimed in the final days in office.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Now story number two, we all know.
- 12:46Speaker 3: That Democrats are losing their minds over the redistricting that
- 12:49Speaker 3: just finally became official in Texas. But the real reason
- 12:53Speaker 3: behind the jerrymandering all over the country and democratic states
- 12:57Speaker 3: may become even clearer now because the data we're now seeing.
- 13:02Speaker 3: There's a new study out that says that Democrats are
- 13:05Speaker 3: losing registration race in all thirty states attract party affiliation.
- 13:11Speaker 3: In fact, four point five million voter swing now towards
- 13:16Speaker 3: the GOP. And that's exactly why you're seeing Gavin Newsom
- 13:20Speaker 3: saying we're gonna gerrymander our entire state. The Democratic Party
- 13:25Speaker 3: is hemorrhaging support with no end in sight, according to
- 13:29Speaker 3: the shocking analysis of new voter registrations. Now, this is
- 13:35Speaker 3: all being fueled by President Donald Trump's big gains among men,
- 13:39Speaker 3: younger voters, and Latinos. In twenty twenty four, more new
- 13:44Speaker 3: voters nationwide chose to be Republicans than Democrats for the
- 13:48Speaker 3: first time since twenty eighteen, according to a report from
- 13:52Speaker 3: The New York Times, which relies on voter registration data
- 13:57Speaker 3: compiled by L two, a non part data firm. Perhaps
- 14:02Speaker 3: more troubling for Democrats, the data suggests Democratic Party activists
- 14:08Speaker 3: can no longer rely on the party's tried and true
- 14:12Speaker 3: methods to reverse the trend, leaving panic party leaders and
- 14:16Speaker 3: pundits unsure how to well resurrect the party's electoral prospects,
- 14:22Speaker 3: and the numbers are staggering. Quote. Of the thirty states
- 14:27Speaker 3: that track voter registration by political party affiliation, Democrats lost
- 14:34Speaker 3: ground to Republicans in every single state between twenty twenty
- 14:40Speaker 3: and twenty twenty four elections, and often by a lot. Quote.
- 14:45Speaker 3: That four year swing towards the Republicans added up to
- 14:50Speaker 3: four point five million voters, a deep political hole that
- 14:55Speaker 3: could take years for Democrats to climb out from, which
- 14:59Speaker 3: goes back to why are Democrats doing what they're doing now? Well,
- 15:03Speaker 3: it's clear, when they're this far behind, they need to
- 15:06Speaker 3: change something quickly. That could include counting illegal immigrants right
- 15:11Speaker 3: in these census to help them with the election map.
- 15:14Speaker 3: He could also be giving them amnesty so that they
- 15:17Speaker 3: could vote quickly for them. And then there's the other
- 15:20Speaker 3: problem that Democrats have, who is actually running the Democratic Party?
- 15:26Speaker 3: What do they stand for? And why are they so
- 15:29Speaker 3: against the American people and putting illegal immigrants ahead. These
- 15:35Speaker 3: are all questions that Joe Biden should have dealt with,
- 15:38Speaker 3: the Democratic Party should have dealt with, and what do
- 15:41Speaker 3: they do? They alienated Americans? And so the takeaway is this,
- 15:46Speaker 3: we now have the data that clearly Donald Trump was
- 15:50Speaker 3: a messenger that the American people wanted. He talked about
- 15:54Speaker 3: putting Americans first instead of illegal immigrants. He talked about
- 15:59Speaker 3: securing the border instead of having open borders. He talked
- 16:02Speaker 3: about law and order instead of having lawlessness. And that's
- 16:07Speaker 3: exactly why the Democrats right now are in so much
- 16:10Speaker 3: trouble with no end in sight, and even the New
- 16:13Speaker 3: York Times admitting that Donald Trump fundamentally changed the election
- 16:17Speaker 3: map quite possibly for years to come.
