Government Secures US$20 Million Housing Loan Guarantee
Parliament has authorized a US$20 million government guarantee to support housing development through the Saint Lucia Development Bank. The financing will assist first-time homeowners with home construction, land purchases and refinancing, while also supporting existing homeowners with repairs, renovations, extensions, drainage, retaining walls, renewable energy and energy-efficiency improvements.
