Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome in as Verdic with Center, Ted Kruz Ben Ferguson
- 0:04Speaker 1: with you. And there are certain shows when we get
- 0:07Speaker 1: ready and we're getting everything in line before the show,
- 0:10Speaker 1: you just say, yeah, this is an important one. We've
- 0:12Speaker 1: got two big topics we're going to be talking about,
- 0:14Speaker 1: including the big backfire by Democrats.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:18Speaker 3: So today is day six of the Schumer shutdown, and
- 0:21Speaker 3: I got to say it is not going well for Democrats.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Democrats are panicking. The American people recognize that they have
- 0:28Speaker 3: shut the government down in an act of petulance, in
- 0:31Speaker 3: an act of Chuck Schumer trying to cover his left
- 0:35Speaker 3: wing with the crazy activists and his party and the
- 0:40Speaker 3: Democrats don't have it out, and it's not going well.
- 0:43Speaker 3: The American people get the joke. We're going to break
- 0:45Speaker 3: that down and tell you how this is going to end,
- 0:48Speaker 3: and it is going to end, and spoiler alert, it's
- 0:51Speaker 3: going to end with complete and total capitulation from the Democrats,
- 0:54Speaker 3: which is part of why Schumer and the Democrats are
- 0:57Speaker 3: panicking because they don't see an alternative to that. Secondly,
- 1:00Speaker 3: we're going to talk about a story from this past
- 1:03Speaker 3: week that, to be honest, just pisses me off, really
- 1:08Speaker 3: made me angry when it broke. Which is the deranged
- 1:11Speaker 3: killer who went from California to Maryland to murder Justice
- 1:14Speaker 3: Brett Kavanaugh. He was sentenced this WEEKDJ sought thirty years
- 1:23Speaker 3: for an attempted murderer of a Supreme Court justice, a
- 1:26Speaker 3: very reasonable sentence. A Biden left wing judge instead deviated
- 1:31Speaker 3: downwards twenty two years, sentenced him to just eight years.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Why because the murderer is transgender, and so it's okay
- 1:41Speaker 3: apparently from the left wing's view, if you are trying
- 1:45Speaker 3: to assassinate a sitting Supreme Court justice, if you happen
- 1:47Speaker 3: to be transgender, there woke politics trumps any sense of
- 1:52Speaker 3: law and order or justice. It's an outrageous story. We're
- 1:54Speaker 3: going to give you all the details.
- 1:56Speaker 1: If you've ever listened to the show before, you know
- 1:58Speaker 1: I'm a big advocate for the second and I've shared
- 2:01Speaker 1: on numerous occasions how carrying a firearm literally saved my
- 2:04Speaker 1: life from a gang related attack. But many of you
- 2:07Speaker 1: out there may not feel comfortable carrying a firearm. Maybe
- 2:09Speaker 1: you have a loved one that's just not comfortable. They
- 2:12Speaker 1: need a way to protect themselves and That's why I
- 2:14Speaker 1: want you to know about Bernot launchers. I have them
- 2:17Speaker 1: and I've given them to many family members. Berne is
- 2:19Speaker 1: a handheld pistol that fires both kinetic rounds and chemical
- 2:23Speaker 1: irritants to separate you from an attacker. Josh Cherard from
- 2:27Speaker 1: Berna has been with us telling stories of how Berna
- 2:30Speaker 1: has helped save lives or could have been the best
- 2:33Speaker 1: option for protection. Josh, this next one is incredibly sad,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and I want you to talk about the father that
- 2:39Speaker 1: was involved with a shooting.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Absolutely so. In this particular case, sixteen year old girl
- 2:44Speaker 4: was coming home late one night, about three am in
- 2:47Speaker 4: the morning, entering through the garage. Unfortunately, the father hears
- 2:50Speaker 4: the noise in the garage, grabts his gun, goes out there,
- 2:53Speaker 4: sees a dark figure walking through the garage, points that
- 2:56Speaker 4: gun fires only that point, realizing that he had just
- 2:59Speaker 4: killed his sixteen year old daughter. This is an illustration
- 3:03Speaker 4: of where guns in homes, if not used properly, can
- 3:07Speaker 4: have dire dire consequences. In this case, one bullet killed
- 3:11Speaker 4: two lives and the lives of many others in that family.
- 3:14Speaker 4: It was incredibly tragic and unfortunately we see this situation
- 3:18Speaker 4: dozens and dozens of times every year throughout the US.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one of the questions that I think some
- 3:23Speaker 1: people ask us, like, is this just a one off occurrence?
- 3:25Speaker 1: It would never happen to me. Unfortunately, as you mentioned,
- 3:27Speaker 1: this happens a lot more often than people realize.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Absolutely. Unfortunately, people think that the best tool and the
- 3:33Speaker 4: only tool for home defense is a gun, and they
- 3:35Speaker 4: get a gun, they never train with it, they never
- 3:37Speaker 4: train the tactics that requires, They don't do the other
- 3:40Speaker 4: things like flashlights and all the other things that are
- 3:42Speaker 4: necessary to make sure that they can use that gun properly.
- 3:44Speaker 4: And then that's when you have something like this happens
- 3:47Speaker 4: with a Berna. If the same thing had happened you
- 3:49Speaker 4: put a burner in his hand, his daughter would be
- 3:51Speaker 4: really mad. After she was done coughing for about forty
- 3:53Speaker 4: five minutes, but still alive. Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 1: If you want to get more information on how Berna
- 3:57Speaker 1: can help you or a family member protect themselves, go
- 4:00Speaker 1: to burnaby RNA dot com. That's burna by RNA dot
- 4:05Speaker 1: com again, burnam by r NA dot com. All right, so, Senator,
- 4:11Speaker 1: let's take a moment and update people on where we
- 4:13Speaker 1: are with this government shut down. I was literally at
- 4:17Speaker 1: church on Sunday and I had countless people walk up
- 4:19Speaker 1: and they're like, dude, how long is this going to last?
- 4:21Speaker 1: When's this going to end? Is this going to be
- 4:24Speaker 1: a really long term shutdown or is this going to
- 4:26Speaker 1: be something that's going to get resolved pretty quickly. So
- 4:28Speaker 1: let's talk about you and Washington. Last week there were
- 4:32Speaker 1: votes and movement, but it did not move enough to
- 4:36Speaker 1: make the government go back to actually working for the
- 4:38Speaker 1: American people. When you left EC, what was a temperature
- 4:42Speaker 1: and you said, now, Democrats, you feel like are actually
- 4:44Speaker 1: freaking out.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Look, I and every other Republican has voted repeatedly to
- 4:50Speaker 3: open up the government. The House of Representatives has passed
- 4:53Speaker 3: a clean CR a clean continuing resolution that keeps the
- 4:56Speaker 3: government open, and it's the Democrats who keep voting it down.
- 5:00Speaker 3: And we're going to this week, We're going to be
- 5:02Speaker 3: back in. We'll be in Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, maybe Friday.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Every day we will vote to open the government.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Right now.
- 5:10Speaker 3: If the Democrats don't change, every day, the Democrats will
- 5:13Speaker 3: vote to keep the government shut down. And the challenge
- 5:17Speaker 3: is they don't have an off ramp that they're trying
- 5:20Speaker 3: to make up all sorts of things to say, we're
- 5:22Speaker 3: going to shut the government down because.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Of X, because of Y.
- 5:27Speaker 3: They're claiming it's all about that they really, really, really
- 5:31Speaker 3: want to give health care to illeial aliens. Actually, ironically,
- 5:35Speaker 3: they're not claiming that that's in the language of the
- 5:38Speaker 3: bill they keep voting for. So every Democrat keeps voting
- 5:40Speaker 3: for a bill that would provide government provided health care
- 5:45Speaker 3: for illegals, and then they're going on TV saying what us, No, no, no,
- 5:49Speaker 3: we don't want health care for illegals. Who's ever heard
- 5:51Speaker 3: of such a thing? That's not possibly what we want.
- 5:54Speaker 3: So there's a level of incoherence in terms of what
- 5:56Speaker 3: they're ask is. But there's a reason for that. They
- 5:59Speaker 3: don't actually.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Have a real ask.
- 6:01Speaker 3: What they have is a political problem for Chuck Schumer.
- 6:05Speaker 3: When he last kept the government open, he came very
- 6:08Speaker 3: close to losing his job. The radical left wing rose up,
- 6:11Speaker 3: they were furious. I got to say, Bennett is astonishing.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Every single Democrat Senate candidate in the country who has
- 6:19Speaker 3: been asked, do you support Chuck Schumer to remain the
- 6:23Speaker 3: Democrat leader in the Senate? Not one, not a single incumbent,
- 6:28Speaker 3: not a single challenger has said yep, he's our leader.
- 6:31Speaker 3: They're all running terrified. And so you want to know
- 6:34Speaker 3: why there's a shutdown because Schumer needs to beat his chest. Now,
- 6:37Speaker 3: at some point he'll stop beating his chest and the
- 6:40Speaker 3: government will reopen. But just this week, CBS did a
- 6:45Speaker 3: poll and I got to say, the Democrats' numbers are
- 6:50Speaker 3: near an all time low. The democrats favorability rating is
- 6:56Speaker 3: at thirty four percent, sixty six percent unfavorable, and it
- 7:01Speaker 3: really is striking. So CBS, now this is not a
- 7:04Speaker 3: right wing poll, this is CBS. CBS asked what words
- 7:10Speaker 3: describe the Democrat Party? What do you think the number
- 7:14Speaker 3: one word was.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I'm going to guess it wasn't like inspirational, like hope
- 7:18Speaker 1: and change. Back in the day when Obama is around
- 7:21Speaker 1: week there you go.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Week week was sixty four percent of Americans polled said
- 7:29Speaker 3: the Democrat Party is weak. What do you think the
- 7:31Speaker 3: number two word was, I'm going to go with not strong,
- 7:37Speaker 3: extreme forty six percent set extreme, so we can extreme
- 7:42Speaker 3: are the top two words. Now after that, you've got reasonable,
- 7:46Speaker 3: reasonable is it forty four percent?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Strong?
- 7:50Speaker 3: You actually asked about strong, what percent do you think,
- 7:53Speaker 3: say the Democrat Party is strong?
- 7:55Speaker 1: I mean, if I had a guess, I'd say thirty
- 7:57Speaker 1: five percent. Twenty seven. Wow, so even lower than I thought,
- 8:01Speaker 1: because thirty five was not like a good number.
- 8:02Speaker 3: By the way, and by the way, effective, What percent
- 8:06Speaker 3: do you think say the Democrat Party is effective?
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm going to say if based on what you just
- 8:11Speaker 1: said a moment ago, twenty.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Five percent, twenty six There you go. Okay, go, So
- 8:16Speaker 3: all right, think for a minute. You are running the
- 8:20Speaker 3: Democrat Party Senate campaign, the Democrat Party House campaign. Your
- 8:26Speaker 3: message right now? Two thirds of Americans think we're weak.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Half of Americans think we're extreme. We've got a full
- 8:34Speaker 3: quarter of Americans who think we're strong and effective. So
- 8:37Speaker 3: we're telling you quarter of Americans we are strong and effective.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Everyone else, you know, we're full of crap. That is
- 8:44Speaker 3: the definition of a political crisis. You want to know
- 8:47Speaker 3: why my colleagues are nervous. Look, I this past week
- 8:52Speaker 3: I sent out a meme. So you may have seen,
- 8:54Speaker 3: in fact, I know you've seen. Ben President Trump sent
- 8:58Speaker 3: out a meme of a Keem Jeffries wearing a sombrero
- 9:01Speaker 3: with a big handlebar mustache.
- 9:03Speaker 1: By by the way so good and hilarious and just
- 9:06Speaker 1: funny and people need to calm down. But of course
- 9:09Speaker 1: Democrats start screaming racism right away.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Look it was funniest crap. It was AI.
- 9:14Speaker 3: So it had Chuck Schumer saying, all right, nobody's voting
- 9:18Speaker 3: for Democrats because they know our bs. But I have
- 9:21Speaker 3: to admit I doubled over laughing, and look, it's obviously AI.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Nobody thinks.
- 9:27Speaker 3: The real Yeah, it's Schumer actually said we the Democrats
- 9:30Speaker 3: are are full of crap, Like it's obvious they're lying.
- 9:34Speaker 3: But what people have gone nuts about is a Keem
- 9:38Speaker 3: Jeffries is there. They're saying, Okay, nobody votes for us.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Everyone hates us. So we've decided to go all in
- 9:45Speaker 3: on free healthcare, free illegals because maybe the illegals, they
- 9:48Speaker 3: don't speak English, so maybe they'll support us at least
- 9:51Speaker 3: for a while, so they discover how horrible we are,
- 9:53Speaker 3: and then they won't support us either. That's a paraphrase
- 9:56Speaker 3: of what Schumer says in the video. And you have
- 9:58Speaker 3: a Keem Jeffries at a sumber and a big mustachio
- 10:01Speaker 3: next to them, and I have to admit, my team
- 10:05Speaker 3: we took a video. There are forty four Democrats who
- 10:09Speaker 3: keep voting to shut the government down. So we took
- 10:11Speaker 3: pictures of all forty four of those Democrat senators and
- 10:15Speaker 3: we used a little bit of AI and we stuck
- 10:17Speaker 3: sombreros and big old mustaches on them, and we put
- 10:21Speaker 3: it out, and we put it out. Actually, I want
- 10:24Speaker 3: to play the tune, and we're not going to play
- 10:26Speaker 3: the whole thing, but I want to play the tune
- 10:28Speaker 3: that we put it out to because it's it's very
- 10:31Speaker 3: neutral and non political. Give a listen to the song
- 10:35Speaker 3: that we put out. And mind you, while you're listening
- 10:38Speaker 3: to this song, you have a cascade of forty four
- 10:41Speaker 3: Democrat senators with sombreros and big handlebar mustaches.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Give a listener.
- 11:00Speaker 5: And November, Count Tho is never gonna be me, And
- 11:05Speaker 5: November's gonna make the goodry better than you can remember.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Count Moo is never gonna be me.
- 11:09Speaker 4: In November.
- 11:13Speaker 5: When the inside do the Magarino shake it Up Montreila campaign.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Now they all love me because.
- 11:19Speaker 5: I'm Dante and never going American wants me. Votes for me,
- 11:23Speaker 5: don't just be on himself the ferred tum this sweep.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Votes for me, don't just be on himself. The ferre
- 11:30Speaker 5: dumbness sweep como is never gonna be me and no
- 11:34Speaker 5: gonna make the goodry better than you can remember.
- 11:36Speaker 4: All right.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I gotta say you know that Donald Trump loves this
- 11:40Speaker 1: kind of stuff. I cannot wait to see what he
- 11:43Speaker 1: says to you when you guys hang out next.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Uh oh, look, it's hysterical and you gotta envision if
- 11:49Speaker 3: if you haven't watched it online. While the song is playing,
- 11:53Speaker 3: we just got image after image of Democrats. So we
- 11:57Speaker 3: have Chris van Holland sitting down with the m S
- 11:59Speaker 3: thirteen having a dakery with a giant sombrero and a
- 12:03Speaker 3: heinelbar mustache. We just just have fun with it. By
- 12:07Speaker 3: the way, I will say the Macarena so as you know,
- 12:10Speaker 3: my communications director's named Makarena Martinez. She's fantastic, really really good.
- 12:16Speaker 3: But I was talking to like several of the young
- 12:18Speaker 3: staffers in my office and I said, you know, there's
- 12:21Speaker 3: only one member of our staff who has been the
- 12:25Speaker 3: title of a number one song worldwide, and like the
- 12:28Speaker 3: twenty two year olds in my office had no idea
- 12:31Speaker 3: what I.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Was talking about.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Isn't then amazing? You're aging us right now.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Yeah, like it's it's for all of so this pod
- 12:37Speaker 3: has a lot of younger listeners. There was a song
- 12:40Speaker 3: what twenty years ago, twenty five, long time again, long
- 12:43Speaker 3: longer than that maybe, Yeah, that was the makarena, and
- 12:46Speaker 3: there there was a dance. I will say, if you've
- 12:48Speaker 3: never seen it, there's an image you don't want to
- 12:50Speaker 3: see of Hillary Clinton dancing the macarena and it is
- 12:55Speaker 3: just it will it will make you feel like the
- 12:59Speaker 3: gift of Homer Simpson wanting to pour bleach in your eyes.
- 13:03Speaker 3: You do not want to see Hillary. Trust me, do
- 13:05Speaker 3: not google Hillary Clinton dancing the macarena. You will never
- 13:09Speaker 3: be the same.
- 13:10Speaker 1: That was that at the Democratic Convention. I'm having a
- 13:13Speaker 1: flashback right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't remember trying
- 13:16Speaker 1: to be cool right and it just completely backfired.
- 13:21Speaker 3: It was horrible. Now, I will tell you. When I
- 13:23Speaker 3: sent out this this video of all the Democrats, Tim Kane,
- 13:26Speaker 3: Democrat from Virginia, who Tim and I are friends, but
- 13:29Speaker 3: he like popped me back on Twitter. He's like, hey,
- 13:31Speaker 3: did you buy those sombreros and can kun, which I was.
- 13:35Speaker 3: I immediately responded yes I did. And by the way,
- 13:39Speaker 3: Tim instead of making m dumb jokes about can kun,
- 13:43Speaker 3: how about we reopened the government since half of your
- 13:45Speaker 3: friggin state Virginia works for the government and you've taken
- 13:49Speaker 3: away all their paychecks and and he didn't like that.
- 13:51Speaker 3: So I will say on the Senate floor, I was
- 13:54Speaker 3: giving Tim a little bit of grief for that, and
- 13:56Speaker 3: he was kind of He's like, did you like my
- 13:58Speaker 3: cancun joke? And I'm like, yeah, but I'd like it
- 14:01Speaker 3: better if you opened the government.
- 14:03Speaker 1: If you opened the government, So all right, look into
- 14:05Speaker 1: your crystal ball based on what DC was like in
- 14:09Speaker 1: the mood when you laugh and going back in there
- 14:12Speaker 1: on Monday, do you think that we will get the
- 14:15Speaker 1: government reopened this week or do you think that Schumer
- 14:18Speaker 1: does still dig in Now?
- 14:20Speaker 3: I think they cave this week, And I want to
- 14:22Speaker 3: play for you. So last week Schumer was on the
- 14:25Speaker 3: Senate floor, and I want to paint the picture. He's
- 14:27Speaker 3: giving a speech for one of the multiple times the
- 14:30Speaker 3: Democrats are voting to shut the government down, and they
- 14:33Speaker 3: know the polling is going terribly and so Schumer got
- 14:37Speaker 3: up and his line he said, well, okay, they're polls
- 14:42Speaker 3: that Republicans are talking about but those are biased Republican polls.
- 14:47Speaker 3: And he says, well, it's the New York Times, but
- 14:49Speaker 3: it's biased. And I got to say. I was standing
- 14:52Speaker 3: ten feet away from Schumer, and I and every other
- 14:55Speaker 3: Republican just cracked up laughing because he's like claiming the
- 14:59Speaker 3: New York Time is a biased right wing publication, and
- 15:02Speaker 3: it was spontaneous. We did not organize this. We just
- 15:05Speaker 3: like doubled over laughing, and Schumer he stammered, he stopped.
- 15:10Speaker 3: He's like, uh uh, well, I mean it was Look
- 15:15Speaker 3: who knew Schumer could be so funny. I want you
- 15:17Speaker 3: to play The video is better, but I want you
- 15:20Speaker 3: to play the audio Schumer saying this and the spontaneous
- 15:23Speaker 3: reaction appeals of laughter on the Senate floor.
- 15:26Speaker 6: Now I want to know the leader is going to
- 15:28Speaker 6: show a poll that says that Democrats will be blamed
- 15:32Speaker 6: for the shutdown. There are many more polls that show
- 15:35Speaker 6: Republicans are blamed. The question in that poll is biased,
- 15:39Speaker 6: biased in the New York Times, but it's biased. If
- 15:42Speaker 6: you turned the court, that's true. I don't always believe
- 15:50Speaker 6: the New York Times. You can be sure of that.
- 15:53Speaker 6: Neither do you.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Okay, it's amazing, by the way, like you're here and there.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It's kind of like he realized he stepped in it.
- 16:00Speaker 3: And even if he really was, like I'm standing ten
- 16:06Speaker 3: feet from him and all of us wet. Like, okay,
- 16:10Speaker 3: the microphone on the Senate floor, when you're speaking, you
- 16:12Speaker 3: have a little microphone on your lapel. Nobody else's micd
- 16:17Speaker 3: That gives you a sense of how loud the laughter
- 16:19Speaker 3: was that that's all coming through Schumer's mic and we
- 16:23Speaker 3: were just doubled over laughing. And you watch his expression,
- 16:27Speaker 3: He's like, oh, oh, oh, wait, okay, okay, that's really dumb.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Oh crap, uh yeah, Okay. The New York Times is
- 16:34Speaker 3: a right wing biased publication. Yeah, maybe that's not like.
- 16:38Speaker 3: This is why my prediction is the shutdown will end
- 16:40Speaker 3: this week, because I think the Democrats, as much as
- 16:43Speaker 3: Schumer feels he's in trouble with the left wing, I
- 16:46Speaker 3: think a lot of the Democrats say, we're on fire,
- 16:52Speaker 3: we don't have a win, this is not going well.
- 16:56Speaker 3: There's a combination of two things. One, an awful lot
- 16:58Speaker 3: of Americans the government shutdown, or they don't care it
- 17:01Speaker 3: doesn't impact their lives. That is the nightmare for any
- 17:04Speaker 3: big government Democrat is if the government shuts down and
- 17:07Speaker 3: nobody notices, and look, during government shutdown, eighty three percent
- 17:11Speaker 3: of the government keeps functioning. So the military functions, law
- 17:14Speaker 3: enforcement functions, the FBI functions, border patrol functions, ice functions,
- 17:20Speaker 3: so security, medicare, Medicaid, all of that function, The A
- 17:24Speaker 3: benefits continue, and so it is a nightmare if your
- 17:29Speaker 3: entire political career is built on telling the American people
- 17:34Speaker 3: the most important thing in your life is the federal government.
- 17:38Speaker 3: If the government shuts down and everyone yawns and goes
- 17:40Speaker 3: about their life, that's a disaster. But a second disaster
- 17:45Speaker 3: is to the extent people are focused. So listen, if
- 17:47Speaker 3: you're going to DC this week and you wanted to
- 17:50Speaker 3: go to the Smithsonian and goes to see the Air
- 17:52Speaker 3: and Space Museum, you can't because the Democrats shut down
- 17:55Speaker 3: the Smithsonian. They shut down Yellowstone National Park and all
- 17:59Speaker 3: the national parks, and so people are going to get
- 18:02Speaker 3: pissed off gradually over time. But I think the vast
- 18:05Speaker 3: majority of people are blaming the Democrats, saying why are
- 18:08Speaker 3: they shutting this down? And so I think the pressure
- 18:11Speaker 3: on Schumer. Look, look, Schumer is a little bit like
- 18:15Speaker 3: a quark in a rushing river, where he's just responding
- 18:21Speaker 3: to the pressures pushing him left and right. So he's
- 18:24Speaker 3: getting the pressures from the crazy left wingers that are
- 18:27Speaker 3: saying shut it down forever because we hate Trump. But
- 18:30Speaker 3: I think a number of his members, particularly members who
- 18:33Speaker 3: are on the ballot in twenty twenty six, are going
- 18:34Speaker 3: to say, all right, enough of this nonsense, let's reopen
- 18:38Speaker 3: the government. My prediction is this week the Democrats give in.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I want to move to another topic that we mentioned earlier,
- 18:45Speaker 1: and that is there is a lot of quiet outrage
- 18:48Speaker 1: for people that have been paying attention to the Brett
- 18:52Speaker 1: Kavanaugh assassination scandal. You have a quote transgender man who
- 19:00Speaker 1: planned to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh only receiving eight years for
- 19:06Speaker 1: that crime. There are a lot of people that are
- 19:09Speaker 1: upset and angry about it. I'm one of them. I
- 19:12Speaker 1: think you are as well, and somehow, I guess being
- 19:15Speaker 1: transgender now has allows free to have less accountability for
- 19:19Speaker 1: your actions. Explain this one.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I have to admit this story makes me incredibly angry.
- 19:27Speaker 3: When I saw it I read the news story this week,
- 19:30Speaker 3: I was literally yelling out loud as I was reading
- 19:32Speaker 3: my phone. Heidi and I and our daughter Caroline. We
- 19:36Speaker 3: were in New York this weekend. I was with a
- 19:38Speaker 3: half dozen NYPD cops and I got admit I vented
- 19:43Speaker 3: to the cops who were all pissed about this. So,
- 19:46Speaker 3: the man who planned to kill Supreme Court Justice Brett
- 19:50Speaker 3: Cavan on twenty twenty two, he flew from California to Maryland.
- 19:55Speaker 3: He arrived there, he had with him. He had a knife,
- 20:02Speaker 3: he had a gun, he had duct tape, he had
- 20:04Speaker 3: zip ties, and he had planned to murder not just
- 20:07Speaker 3: Brett Kavanaugh, but a total of three Supreme Court justices.
- 20:10Speaker 3: He was deranged, and he was caught on the street
- 20:13Speaker 3: right outside Justice Kavanaugh's home. And by the way, he
- 20:16Speaker 3: was also threatening Justice Kavanaugh's wife and their two daughters. Well,
- 20:22Speaker 3: this guy was prosecuted quite rightily, and the Department of
- 20:25Speaker 3: Justice asked for thirty years, which is a pretty reasonable
- 20:28Speaker 3: sentence for someone trying to kill a Supreme Court justice. Well,
- 20:33Speaker 3: this left wing judge, her name is Deborah Boardman. She's
- 20:35Speaker 3: a Joe Biden appointee to the Maryland Federal Court. She
- 20:40Speaker 3: made a twenty two year downward departure. So instead of
- 20:45Speaker 3: thirty years. She sentenced him to eight years, and her
- 20:50Speaker 3: reasoning was essentially, instead of thirty years, you get eight
- 20:54Speaker 3: Why because you're transgender. Here's what Judge Boardman said, quote,
- 21:00Speaker 3: under the law, I must consider the sentencing guidelines. The
- 21:02Speaker 3: guidelines in this case are three hundred and sixty months
- 21:05Speaker 3: to life. It's important to understand the Spring Court stands
- 21:08Speaker 3: on guidelines. They used to be mandatory, but in a
- 21:11Speaker 3: case called Booker, the Supreme Court held they were advisory.
- 21:15Speaker 3: The judge acknowledge that quote this case did involve domestic terrorism,
- 21:20Speaker 3: but she undid most of the terrorism enhancement created by
- 21:23Speaker 3: the Sentencing Commission and said, quote, I have not seen
- 21:28Speaker 3: evidence that the sentencing Commission relied on evidence that it
- 21:31Speaker 3: would reduce recidivism. The sentencing took more than seven hours,
- 21:37Speaker 3: and she discussed at length her justification for the light sentence.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Here's what she said, Miss Rosky, of course she calls
- 21:45Speaker 3: the man a woman because she's a leftist. Miss Roski
- 21:48Speaker 3: came out to herself, to herself like this is a
- 21:51Speaker 3: private like just to the quiet night, I've decided I'm
- 21:55Speaker 3: a woman. Mis Rosky came out to herself as transgender.
- 21:58Speaker 3: In twenty twenty kept it a secret. Miss Roski's sister
- 22:02Speaker 3: came out as gay two years prior, but miss Rosky
- 22:06Speaker 3: saw their parents struggle to recognize her sexuality with their
- 22:10Speaker 3: religious beliefs. By the way it is, it is not
- 22:13Speaker 3: subtle or implied. The judge thinks. Religious beliefs on this
- 22:17Speaker 3: are horrible and terrible, and you are bad if you
- 22:19Speaker 3: have religious beliefs concerning sexuality. The judge continues, quote, I
- 22:25Speaker 3: am heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roski
- 22:30Speaker 3: family accept their daughter, by which she means Nicholas Rosky
- 22:35Speaker 3: for who she is. So you have someone attempting to
- 22:41Speaker 3: murder as sitting Supreme Court justice, and the federal district
- 22:45Speaker 3: judge who's sentencing the attempted murderer says, I'm heartened. The
- 22:49Speaker 3: great thing about this is the parents are now accepting
- 22:52Speaker 3: of their psychopathic, murderous son that thinks he's a daughter.
- 22:58Speaker 3: The mother of the murderer told the judge on Friday
- 23:01Speaker 3: that quote, I have attended p flag meetings and learned
- 23:07Speaker 3: about the LGBTQ plus community. I am committed to going
- 23:13Speaker 3: on this journey with Sophie, by which she means her
- 23:17Speaker 3: son Nicholas, she was frustrated with what was going on
- 23:22Speaker 3: in the world, and we weren't a safe place to
- 23:26Speaker 3: process it. And by the way, the Daily Wire in
- 23:29Speaker 3: their story, the next sentence says, as his mother wept,
- 23:33Speaker 3: Nicholas Rosky also choked up his Adam's apple, bobbing up
- 23:39Speaker 3: and down. Now here's what the judge continued saying. Quote,
- 23:45Speaker 3: any prison time is punishment for her. The length doesn't
- 23:51Speaker 3: need to be particularly long. Unduly harsh conditions make a
- 23:55Speaker 3: difference too.
- 23:57Speaker 2: She will be.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Imprisoned in a male facility even though she is a
- 24:02Speaker 3: transgender prisoner, pursuant to an executive order from the President.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Before the executive order, that wasn't the case. In other words,
- 24:11Speaker 3: this judge really wanted to send this dude to a
- 24:14Speaker 3: woman's prison, where, after attempting to murder a sitting Supreme
- 24:17Speaker 3: Court justice, he could assault women who were incarcerated. This
- 24:24Speaker 3: is I want to be clear, this is lunacy. This
- 24:29Speaker 3: is nuts. I have to admit. I literally yelled and
- 24:32Speaker 3: cursed out loud.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Listen.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Number one, Brett Kavanaugh's a friend. I've literally known Brett
- 24:38Speaker 3: Kavanaugh for thirty years. His wife Ashley, Heidi and I
- 24:41Speaker 3: were with Ashley on the two thousand George W. Bush campaign.
- 24:45Speaker 3: She's a West Texas girl. She's a wonderful woman. They
- 24:49Speaker 3: have two daughters who went through an utter nightmare going
- 24:52Speaker 3: through his confirmation hearing. Night after night after night. The
- 24:57Speaker 3: Kavanaugh House, along with the house of every Supreme Court justice,
- 25:01Speaker 3: had angry, violent left wing protesters out front, screaming, violating
- 25:06Speaker 3: federal law. It is a crime to protest at the
- 25:10Speaker 3: home of a justice seeking to change the decision of
- 25:13Speaker 3: an opinion, and yet the Biden Justice Department refused to
- 25:17Speaker 3: enforce that law. They would not prosecute those felonies, and
- 25:20Speaker 3: the heated rhetoric. Look, this is very much like what
- 25:23Speaker 3: we're seeing with Ice, where Democrat rhetoric gets the lunatics
- 25:29Speaker 3: and their party energized to go commit crimes of violence.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I want to be clear, violence is never, ever, ever justified.
- 25:38Speaker 3: So I'm not advocating violence against any Democrat. I'm not
- 25:41Speaker 3: advocating violence again any left wing judges or justices. Violence
- 25:46Speaker 3: is wrong, And by the way, when it comes to
- 25:50Speaker 3: politically motivated violence, it is almost exclusively a left wing phenomenon. Look,
- 25:55Speaker 3: when George Floyd died, we saw riots and American cities
- 25:59Speaker 3: on fire being burned to the ground. We saw police
- 26:02Speaker 3: cars being firebomb We saw people being murdered when Charlie
- 26:06Speaker 3: Kirk was murdered. We saw prayer vigils across the countries.
- 26:10Speaker 3: People went went out and lit candles and prayed and
- 26:13Speaker 3: sang together. And we did see violence, but not from
- 26:17Speaker 3: the people supporting Charlie Kirk. Instead from the same the
- 26:20Speaker 3: same left wing violent activists who were attacking the people
- 26:25Speaker 3: in prayer vigils. There is a difference. And and and
- 26:29Speaker 3: I have to say this judge, this judge is demonstrated
- 26:34Speaker 3: she is utterly unfit to be a federal judge. I
- 26:37Speaker 3: think the House of Representatives should seriously contemplate in peaching
- 26:43Speaker 3: this judge.
- 26:44Speaker 1: And and I don't way does that happen for what
- 26:48Speaker 1: you're describing right now, because everybody listening is to me,
- 26:50Speaker 1: like a hold on a second. If this is the case,
- 26:52Speaker 1: then why don't we do it? Does it happen? How
- 26:55Speaker 1: many votes do you need to do it? How does
- 26:56Speaker 1: that work?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's happened a number of times. There and multiple
- 27:00Speaker 3: federal judges who've been impeached and removed from office. Typically
- 27:04Speaker 3: they are impeached after committing a crime, something like committing
- 27:09Speaker 3: accepting bribes. So Alsei Hastings, for example, was a federal
- 27:12Speaker 3: judge who was convicted of accepting bribes as a judge,
- 27:17Speaker 3: he was removed from office. And then he turned around
- 27:19Speaker 3: and ran for Congress as a Democrat and got elected
- 27:22Speaker 3: as a congressman. So he was a Democrat congressman who
- 27:26Speaker 3: had been impeached and removed from office for being a
- 27:28Speaker 3: federal judge taking bribes. So that I'm going to let
- 27:32Speaker 3: you draw all the inferences you want. Those facts are objective.
- 27:36Speaker 3: It is not easy to impeach a judge, although under
- 27:39Speaker 3: the Constitution, to impeach a judge it takes a majority
- 27:42Speaker 3: vote in the House of Representatives. And I actually think
- 27:45Speaker 3: in this instance, a judge who thinks someone trying to
- 27:49Speaker 3: murder a Supreme Court justice because he disagrees with a
- 27:53Speaker 3: decision the Supreme Court justice is rendering that is a
- 27:58Speaker 3: fundamental assault on our judicial system, on the rule of law,
- 28:02Speaker 3: on the basic protection of rights all of us have.
- 28:05Speaker 3: And if you are such a zealot, such a partisan ideologue,
- 28:10Speaker 3: that you will not follow the sentencing guidelines, you will
- 28:13Speaker 3: not acknowledge this is terrorism, and instead you say, you
- 28:17Speaker 3: know what, this person's transgender. And my ideology is such
- 28:21Speaker 3: that I love transgenders, and so instead of thirty years,
- 28:24Speaker 3: I'm going to give this person eight years. And by
- 28:27Speaker 3: the way, I really think this man should be in
- 28:29Speaker 3: a woman's prison. But that mean mean president won't let
- 28:32Speaker 3: me do that, I believe. And I don't know this
- 28:36Speaker 3: woman at all. I don't know this judge, but just
- 28:39Speaker 3: how she conducted herself in this proceeding to me, demonstrates
- 28:43Speaker 3: she is completely unfit to be a federal judge. I
- 28:48Speaker 3: would urge the House Representatives take up impeachment and I
- 28:51Speaker 3: would love to have a trial in the Senate. Do
- 28:53Speaker 3: we want judges who refuse to enforce the criminal law
- 28:57Speaker 3: for psychopathic murderers who are trying to Supreme court justices.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I think the obvious anstion does tell you this. No
- 29:05Speaker 3: Democrat wants to defend the other side.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Well, and look, it's not brand with the American people
- 29:10Speaker 1: right now. They want law and order. They want law
- 29:12Speaker 1: and order, and they want justice when the bad guys
- 29:14Speaker 1: are caught, which is there seems to be a pendulum
- 29:18Speaker 1: switch that's happening right now, Thank goodness, in this country
- 29:20Speaker 1: on that.
- 29:22Speaker 3: I think that's right. The American people are second sick
- 29:25Speaker 3: and tired of Democrats letting criminals go, letting violent murderers go,
- 29:29Speaker 3: letting rapists go, letting pedophiles go. They're sick and tired
- 29:33Speaker 3: of the Democrats siding with illegal immigrants over the American people.
- 29:37Speaker 3: It's why we saw the election result in twenty twenty four.
- 29:40Speaker 3: But that being said, listen, the corporate media is all
- 29:43Speaker 3: in twenty four hours a day trying to paint the
- 29:47Speaker 3: Trump administration's efforts to keep our communities safe, to lock
- 29:50Speaker 3: up bad guys, to apprehend and deport murderers and gang
- 29:54Speaker 3: bangers and criminals. What they're trying to say is they're
- 29:57Speaker 3: deporting innocent moms who are harmless. And the propaganda effort
- 30:03Speaker 3: from the media and the Democrats, it is real, and
- 30:05Speaker 3: it is dangerous, and if you're not paying close attention,
- 30:09Speaker 3: it's easy to believe that propaganda.
