- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only. Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Do you understand that I'm telling you God
- 2:15Speaker 1: been big in my life. I'm not gonna kid you.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'm telling you in here do the same thing for you. God.
- 2:22Speaker 1: God is a gentleman. You know. I wanna I want
- 2:24Speaker 1: to point that out to you. God is an absolute gentleman.
- 2:30Speaker 1: He will not come in unless he's invited. He don't
- 2:35Speaker 1: just barge into your life. He gives us the power
- 2:39Speaker 1: of choice. You know, if you say you got it,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I don't need you, He lets you have it. If
- 2:45Speaker 1: you say I need you, come see about me. He
- 2:49Speaker 1: right there. It's just a real simple thing, man. So
- 2:54Speaker 1: I always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
- 2:57Speaker 1: into something, and please you know I have I man
- 3:04Speaker 1: see that. That's why I'm so adamant about it, because
- 3:07Speaker 1: I've gotten myself in some circumstances and positions in my life.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And boy, let me tell you something. I've had some
- 3:14Speaker 1: low moments. Man, I've had some moments where I did
- 3:17Speaker 1: not know what to do. I didn't know what was next.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I didn't know how to go about it. I didn't
- 3:26Speaker 1: have no more ideas. I was stuck. I thought a
- 3:30Speaker 1: couple of times, well might not make it past this one.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But then if I don't make it past it, what's
- 3:39Speaker 1: gonna happen? And then I held on to this little
- 3:43Speaker 1: thing that my mother kept talking to me about. She said,
- 3:46Speaker 1: sometimes some when you ain't got nothing else in you,
- 3:49Speaker 1: just hope, she said, just hope it will be all right,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know. And what I've learned in my life is
- 3:55Speaker 1: that hope. It's the beginning of faith. I hope. It's
- 4:00Speaker 1: just is there a possibility out there for me? I
- 4:06Speaker 1: sure hope something happened. See hope, Hope it's okay, man,
- 4:13Speaker 1: Because like I said, for me, the way I've lived
- 4:16Speaker 1: my life, hope was the beginning of faith. It was
- 4:18Speaker 1: just the idea. It's just the thought that something could
- 4:22Speaker 1: change from me, that something could be a little bit
- 4:25Speaker 1: different from me, that maybe, man, just maybe for some reason,
- 4:31Speaker 1: I could be saved, I could be rescued. Things could
- 4:35Speaker 1: turn around, it could head in the other direction. Maybe
- 4:38Speaker 1: I could quit messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me,
- 4:42Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will will just say all right. I don't know,
- 4:46Speaker 1: but I can't count the times I've been in that position.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But then once I hope a little bit, and then
- 4:52Speaker 1: I remember. Also my mother, because she was a Sunday
- 4:54Speaker 1: school teacher, she taught me the most valuable lesson I've
- 4:58Speaker 1: ever learned in my life. Nothing has been greater in
- 5:01Speaker 1: my life than my faith. She taught me to pray.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Mom used to say, when you get real dog for
- 5:07Speaker 1: your son, prayer changes things. She said, When you seem
- 5:11Speaker 1: like you lost and you can't find your way, stop
- 5:15Speaker 1: and pray, she said, because pray changes things. You know,
- 5:19Speaker 1: when you get a point in your life when you've
- 5:21Speaker 1: done all you can do and you can't do no more,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and you just don't know what to do next. She said, stop, suh,
- 5:28Speaker 1: pray and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:34Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:37Speaker 1: She said. If you pray just hoping, she's saying that
- 5:40Speaker 1: God come through for you. That will give you confidence
- 5:43Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a
- 5:46Speaker 1: while you quit hoping, she's saying, you start believing. She said.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 5:53Speaker 1: that hope into belief, that hope into faith, the ability
- 5:58Speaker 1: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
- 6:01Speaker 1: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
- 6:05Speaker 1: you can't see. See hoping a little bit different from me,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure. Like I say oftentimes to tell a
- 6:12Speaker 1: lot of people who can explain this thing a lot
- 6:14Speaker 1: better than I can to you. But just from my
- 6:17Speaker 1: side of it, being as real as I can be,
- 6:20Speaker 1: rich see, hope helps. Man. If you ain't strong enough
- 6:23Speaker 1: to have faith, have hope, and then if you pray
- 6:26Speaker 1: with some hope and God answers your prayer, then that
- 6:30Speaker 1: hope gains a little confidence. And after a while that
- 6:34Speaker 1: confidence becomes faith. Now ain't just hoping, but I'm believing.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I'm believing in something that I cannot see. Faith has
- 6:45Speaker 1: been the key to my entire existence, even when I
- 6:51Speaker 1: didn't have any It was faith, as I look back
- 6:55Speaker 1: on it, that has gotten me here, and not just
- 6:59Speaker 1: faith of my faith. See, you will only get to
- 7:03Speaker 1: where you're going in your life based on your faith. See.
- 7:09Speaker 1: A lot of people get the word faith confused, like
- 7:12Speaker 1: what's your faith? Uh? And then they started going down
- 7:15Speaker 1: this whole list of all these different religions out here.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But really an essence, man, when I talk to people
- 7:20Speaker 1: about faith, I'm talking to you about your your belief.
- 7:27Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the unseen? How much
- 7:30Speaker 1: do you believe in the things you can't see? How
- 7:33Speaker 1: much do you believe in the impossible? How much do
- 7:38Speaker 1: you believe? See? Because faith is the belief in things
- 7:45Speaker 1: that you cannot see. Faith is the core of all
- 7:50Speaker 1: that is happening to me today. It is the faith
- 7:53Speaker 1: that I have in my relationship with God that enables
- 7:57Speaker 1: me to just oftentimes times, if I stay on the
- 8:02Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
- 8:06Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come and
- 8:12Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
- 8:15Speaker 1: started to notice, See it ain't just a lot of
- 8:17Speaker 1: people think blessings is money, and now, man, that ain't it.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plane lands safe. It's
- 8:26Speaker 1: every time they predict bad weather, not get up in
- 8:30Speaker 1: the sky and it don't be no bad weather. You know,
- 8:34Speaker 1: this is this is favor. These are blessings that get
- 8:37Speaker 1: poured out to me. Somebody called me and offer me something,
- 8:41Speaker 1: not money, but an opportunity, you know, something. Somebody say, hey, man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: I don't know, but I sent this to you. I
- 8:49Speaker 1: thought you might be interested in it. Somebody has sent
- 8:52Speaker 1: me a scripture, or somebody will send me something that's favor,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and it always comes at a time when I need
- 8:59Speaker 1: it the most. That's favor, that's pouring out blessings. Now
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm also the recipient of a lot of other blessings too.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You know, I've been blessed with health. That's amazing blessing. Man.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I've been blessed with a spirit of not quitting. I've
- 9:17Speaker 1: been blessed with the ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See,
- 9:24Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:28Speaker 1: into God, Once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:33Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:36Speaker 1: him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:39Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:43Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:46Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:48Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:51Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Come on, if you're sitting in the cell this morning,
- 9:57Speaker 1: why why would you not change? I watched the he
- 10:00Speaker 1: shows about me and locked up all the time. Who waiting?
- 10:03Speaker 1: They getting their farties, and they decide, Man, I'm tired
- 10:05Speaker 1: of this. I live most of my life behind these bars.
- 10:09Speaker 1: When I get out this time, man, I'm gonna get
- 10:11Speaker 1: it right. Why you gotta wait till your farty? I mean,
- 10:14Speaker 1: when you're farty, it's cool. Get yourself together whenever it happened.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But man, do you know that you are not created
- 10:20Speaker 1: to live behind bars? God didn't make you that way.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But if you've gotten yourself into that position, though, see
- 10:27Speaker 1: now you gotta do the best you can. But they
- 10:29Speaker 1: don't need to look at it God being mad at it,
- 10:31Speaker 1: we'd have made all of our decisions got us to
- 10:33Speaker 1: where we at today. You have a chance to turn
- 10:36Speaker 1: your life around with a relationship with God. What you're
- 10:39Speaker 1: waiting on? Are you gonna just keep doing it like that? Huh? Really?
- 10:44Speaker 1: Come on, man, why would you do that to yourself?
- 10:47Speaker 1: Why would you not allow God to be a part
- 10:49Speaker 1: of your life so you can get the way He
- 10:51Speaker 1: wants you to be. God got some big plans for you.
- 10:54Speaker 1: If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking up. It's Friday,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm saying again, it'day day. Frideo. This has got to
- 11:08Speaker 1: be probably everybody's favorite day of the week right now,
- 11:11Speaker 1: and I know it's mine. Yes, that's great, man. Nobody's
- 11:16Speaker 1: ever angry at a Friday. Let me say good Friday
- 11:23Speaker 1: to everybody. Shearlotte Carlo Junior and Jay Anthony Brown. Good Friday. Good,
- 11:29Speaker 1: good Friday to year Friday. It's Friday. Ain't nothing like
- 11:35Speaker 1: fish fried Friday, man, Yes, fish with mustard. Mustard. We've
- 11:45Speaker 1: put munchard on fishing. We put kids up. Heard that
- 11:51Speaker 1: you've been crazy long time. Put mustard on fish in
- 11:54Speaker 1: the South, that's what they do with my best friend
- 11:58Speaker 1: that she's from Kentucky. Oh, she puts mustard on her
- 12:02Speaker 1: frieda mustard. My folks are from the South, they never
- 12:08Speaker 1: I'm from catch up and not sauce. I don't like
- 12:15Speaker 1: catch up at all. Uh, you don't like. I don't
- 12:19Speaker 1: like you can't catch up. I don't like somebody's snipe head.
- 12:27Speaker 1: She got to be just I just fries. Don't catch up? Right?
- 12:31Speaker 1: So what do you put? You? Just eat your fried?
- 12:34Speaker 1: No just riggling. You know what I'm saying. On your frids,
- 12:38Speaker 1: salt fish. You just you dip it into some mustard. No,
- 12:50Speaker 1: not fries, no fries. Put on fries again. Okay, I've
- 12:57Speaker 1: that like a long time I've heard her. Sure you

- 14:40Speaker 1: all right, it is time for something funny. All right,
- 14:45Speaker 1: Temmy has to get something off his chest. You know,
- 14:47Speaker 1: he always he's a thesbian on the show. He has
- 14:50Speaker 1: something to say always about black movies. But yeah, black
- 14:57Speaker 1: movies with relationship issues. What is all I said was
- 15:01Speaker 1: all black movies basically just relationships gone bad. That's really
- 15:07Speaker 1: when you look at Yeah. You can take last sound round.

- 17:12Speaker 1: of that relationship he went through. I kind of have
- 17:15Speaker 1: to agree with him on this. He with the relationship.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You don't know what he'd been through, but you m
- 17:25Speaker 1: what you're sawing scared of everything where I tell you

- 17:33Speaker 1: just scared of everything you think. You know. It had
- 17:37Speaker 1: to be a woman that told you think you the lion?
- 17:40Speaker 1: You think you run stuff around? If you say that
- 17:44Speaker 1: to a man, what what do you do to a
- 17:48Speaker 1: man when you say that every day? Your task? Confidence down?
- 17:55Speaker 1: All relationships old lyon, I don't understand. Yeah, um, Tommy
- 18:10Speaker 1: saw that one with him? You agree, I kind of
- 18:14Speaker 1: have to agree with him on what I'm gonna give
- 18:19Speaker 1: him one. I'm gonna give one, give one. Always agree
- 18:22Speaker 1: with you. Okay, okay, let scare crow, let's este on now. Really, yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 1: he ain't have no brain here. Y'all tell me every
- 18:37Speaker 1: day what y'all say. I'm stupid. Yeah, but I don't listen.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I don't listen to all that stuff y'all tell me.
- 18:43Speaker 1: But not a scarecrow. On the other all right, he
- 18:47Speaker 1: was weak. You see them saying people weak. He was
- 18:51Speaker 1: weak and he couldn't take it. See women called him stupid.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Next thing, you know, the man that got on the pole,
- 18:58Speaker 1: all of that, just laying the pole up his back
- 19:04Speaker 1: and just standing in there stupid. Last one time we
- 19:09Speaker 1: can't the last one time and the last one the wizard,
- 19:13Speaker 1: the wizard himself, Yeah, but what what what would you
- 19:19Speaker 1: what do you think you didn't You didn't do a

- 19:27Speaker 1: the wind what was the wiz though? He was hiding
- 19:35Speaker 1: from a crazy woman. You know when people are hiding
- 19:41Speaker 1: from crazy women, and you don't think you were from
- 19:45Speaker 1: a crazy woman. Just standing back there, just saying, I
- 19:49Speaker 1: kind of rapping up. I wouldn't be seen in green,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I wouldn't get caught dead in red back then. And
- 19:59Speaker 1: they was all dancing to it. He was adding, from
- 20:02Speaker 1: the crazy woman, woman of you in blue. I have
- 20:11Speaker 1: to agree with him. He makes makes makes sense. Bring
- 20:15Speaker 1: everything you're payroll, it makes sense. He makes sense. Relationship
- 20:22Speaker 1: even the munchkins didn't have nobody, nobody the wicked the
- 20:30Speaker 1: wicked witch to eat nobody. The relationship you get her
- 20:36Speaker 1: man ship flying around like that. But about the good witch.
- 20:39Speaker 1: You have somebody tell about little hard little hand. After
- 20:45Speaker 1: with the baby and with the star round, there ain't
- 20:49Speaker 1: no woman way up in space, nobody. Do you know
- 20:54Speaker 1: what a man's gonna put up with that know what
- 21:00Speaker 1: you have heard it all from you in the last
- 21:04Speaker 1: few days. Kind of broke it down. He did not,
- 21:10Speaker 1: kind of break nothing down, kind of just a little
- 21:13Speaker 1: bit no him giving him. He did it. The man
- 21:22Speaker 1: put the work my relationships. Now, come on, I know
- 21:29Speaker 1: that's my area. I know that's my area. I get it.
- 21:32Speaker 1: But no strawberry letter from all these characters. Ten man
- 21:40Speaker 1: right in with no heart, I have no heart for
- 21:44Speaker 1: the woman and snatched it out of Wow, Tommy, where
- 21:52Speaker 1: do you come up with this stuff? Does? He? Thanks?
- 21:58Speaker 1: And you just don't want to risk You're right, it's me. Well,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I don't know what to say after this. The whiz

- 52:50Speaker 1: What shut off the breaker downstairs? Go ahead and turn
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm not shutting up no breaker downstairs. I shut off
- 52:55Speaker 1: the one upstairs. We didn't turn on every damn thing

- 56:13Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We got it for you.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry letter. Subject my man and his
- 56:21Speaker 1: wife are being petty right there, right there, right there?
- 56:28Speaker 1: Uh huh do Stephen Shirley. I loved my boyfriend. I
- 56:33Speaker 1: am twenty one and he is sixty two. Why you
- 56:38Speaker 1: gotta wait numbers out? I don't know, because you know
- 56:44Speaker 1: what numbers numbers. Just read the letter and he and
- 56:50Speaker 1: we have been together touchy, and we have been together
- 56:53Speaker 1: for two years. He is an amazing man and he
- 56:58Speaker 1: treated me like a queen. We want on lots of
- 57:00Speaker 1: amazing dates, and he even paid for my best friend
- 57:03Speaker 1: and I to go on vacation. Here's a problem. A
- 57:07Speaker 1: few months ago, I told him that I want to
- 57:10Speaker 1: have a baby with him, and he told me absolutely not.
- 57:15Speaker 1: He said he doesn't want to have a child outside
- 57:17Speaker 1: of his marriage. I knew he was married, but I
- 57:20Speaker 1: also knew he wasn't happy. Well, a few months ago,
- 57:24Speaker 1: I stopped taking my birth control and I forgot to
- 57:27Speaker 1: tell him. Shortly after that, I found out I was pregnant.
- 57:31Speaker 1: When I told him I was pregnant, he got angry
- 57:34Speaker 1: and told me not to ever contact him again. Then
- 57:38Speaker 1: I did something I knew was wrong. I called his
- 57:42Speaker 1: wife and told her that I was sleeping with her
- 57:45Speaker 1: husband and that I am pregnant by him. She called
- 57:49Speaker 1: me every name in the book and told me that
- 57:52Speaker 1: her husband will never be in my child's life. So
- 57:55Speaker 1: how can I get them to stop being petty and
- 57:58Speaker 1: that our baby is a blessing? My baby doesn't deserve this.
- 58:02Speaker 1: What should I do? Please help me? Well, now, yeah,
- 58:07Speaker 1: this is now. You want help. You're twenty one, you're
- 58:11Speaker 1: practically a baby. I know you're legally grown. But you're
- 58:14Speaker 1: dealing with a sixty two year old man, a man
- 58:16Speaker 1: who's old enough to be your grandfather. Come on, now,
- 58:19Speaker 1: you've been together for two years. Yeah, he's an amazing man.
- 58:22Speaker 1: He treated you like a queen. The one and only
- 58:25Speaker 1: thing I agree with you in this letter is that
- 58:28Speaker 1: you are right. The baby doesn't deserve this. You're so right.
- 58:33Speaker 1: This innocent, beautiful blessing of a baby has been born
- 58:37Speaker 1: into a ratchet mess. You have been ratchet. You're you're horrible,
- 58:43Speaker 1: deceitful person. Here. I don't I don't like you. I
- 58:46Speaker 1: don't like what you did. You have ruined several people's lives.
- 58:50Speaker 1: This man told you absolutely not, absolutely not. Then you
- 58:55Speaker 1: said you forgot to take your birth control. Come on,
- 58:59Speaker 1: and then you forgot to tell him that's a trap
- 59:01Speaker 1: right there. You don't do this, and then you pick
- 59:04Speaker 1: up the phone and call his wife. Come on, you
- 59:07Speaker 1: can't do this, young woman. You know, I'm just so
- 59:13Speaker 1: disappointed in everything that you've done. And you don't see
- 59:17Speaker 1: I guess because you're so young, you don't see where
- 59:20Speaker 1: you've made all these several mistakes. And yes, now your
- 59:24Speaker 1: baby is going to have to suffer without a father.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Because of these mistakes that you've made. Um, what should
- 59:31Speaker 1: you do? You're gonna have to be a better person,
- 59:35Speaker 1: grow up and take care of your baby. And you know,
- 59:39Speaker 1: if you want help for you baby, you're gonna have
- 59:41Speaker 1: to take this man to court and get child support.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I mean, that's what you're gonna have to do. The
- 59:46Speaker 1: baby is the utmost importance of the utmost importance right now.
- 59:50Speaker 1: So think about the baby and and get yourself together.
- 59:53Speaker 1: You're young, and you have your whole life ahead of you,
- 59:56Speaker 1: but you have ruined several people's lives because of this.
- 59:59Speaker 1: You were selfish, this one very I'm like, it's I'm
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: not glad the guy is gone, because you do need
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: two people to raise. But look at the life that
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: you don't have, that you don't have had this man
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: stayed around, you'd have to get a double stroller and
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: push both of them in it, you know what I mean,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the baby and him, because he's he's almost at that age. Wait, well,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: just down the line, he's gonna need tending to. You know,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you're gonna have to buy double panthers, the smaller ones
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: and the hefty ones. You know, you don't have to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: breastfeed more for me. You know, we we need we
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: need changing now, Hugh, can you come change. Think of
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: the life you don't have by messing with this older man. Okay,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: you on one, he told you want no kids. Yeah,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: he told you that, and you knew he was married.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: You already knew he was married. So come on, now,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: your life you don't have. You know, you've been a
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: big guy in the stroller in the front holding the baby.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: How that look you all in the mall pushing the
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: brown as man holding a baby? Granddad, it's dad, But
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying she's pushing dad. Wait, I know she's
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: a young girl. Count your blessings. Count you blessed. She's
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: my step A lot of lives he changing. Oh man,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: this is this is a mess. This is this is
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: a ratchet tree right here. Come on, nephew, you the
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: baby don't need to be seeing this. I'm just gonna
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: tell you now, you know what, You're not even a
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: number two because number two don't do that. We talked
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: about number two a couple days though. You're not. You're
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you're number three. You're trifling and what what what up
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: sets me about about you? You're so young, you're so
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: naive the man sixty two. You ain't even done the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: mouth to realize in eighteen he gonna be eighty. He
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: ain't gonna even make graduations for the child. Do you

- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I can really identify all the ladies in the movie. Okay.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Tiffany Hattish, like you say, plays Dina. She is so crazy.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: This young lady is so funny. She's so funny. She's
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: the wild one. Regina Hall, oh my god, we love her.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: She's Bryan the Boss, yes, ma'am. Jada Pinkett is Lisa
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: the Mom, and Queen Latifa plays the role of Sasha,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: who's gossip in all the time she does. It's gossip.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: So where are you girls fit in here? Where's Collins
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: in Shirley? Which one? Which one are you? I think
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I would be Regina Hall and Jada. I think Tiffany
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Hattish wild a little bit because that happens to somebody else. Yeah,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: because you know how you feel about New Orleans. Love it? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Urban Street on the zip line, trying not to peek.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I can see that. And you know we love we
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: love zip lining. Will we love it? Yes, yeah, we've
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: done it before, We've done it before. But so yeah,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: And that's the fun about it. I think when women
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: go to see the movie, when the ladies go, you
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: will be trying to figure out which one are you
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: or you're a compilation of all these women in the movie.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Great concept, great movie. Oh, the very fine and sexy
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Lorenz Tate movie. I got a candy for my ladies.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: You know that? Then? Yes, the brother Mike Coulter who
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: played Luke Cage, he's in there. Yeah. Yeah. And you
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: know else I got. I got the young brother Kofy,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you know from Queen's Sugar, he played Ralph. Yes, I
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: always got to make that. Take care of my ladies.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: I'm taking care of that sweets. You got us a
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: lot of very and a lot of brother Kofy. I
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: would just say that because Jada is trying to get
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: a groove back via this trip, and she gets a
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: little help from from young Kofe. So I will not
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: get appoint my lady, you know, working in in mediate. Listen,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: here's the thing. We have had a lot of depictions
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: of black women, but not a lot of diversity, right,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: so we don't show the complexity of our characters which
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: we are in real life. So sisters on film it's
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: always just a it's either the two maternal too angry
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: over sex. There's only a couple of different you know, serials,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: and so this movie shows the full range and nuances
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: of who sisters really are. I think black women are
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: really going to appreciate and being powered by this movie
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: and have a damn good time. Like Regina Hall, she
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: is special. She really really is her time. He's done
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: a lot of great you know, uh supporting roles in
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: other films and even some of film, but she really
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: is the anchor. This movie revolves around her, and I
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: think it's time for her to have a role where
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: she's front. All of your films are well put together.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: You you do an excellent job making sure you have
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: laid it out from the beginning to the end. You
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: do not miss anything, and I commend you on it.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I appreciate that. Timmy, thank you man. You know it's
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: hard a lot goes into it and I say, what's
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: interesting is that we're releasing this movie, like I said,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: next Friday, in the middle of the summer, so you
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: know how it is. We're going against Transformers and Planning
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: of the eight Man, all these big movies. And the
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: studio asked me, are you sure you want to release
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: this in the summer. I said absolutely, absolutely, because this
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: is as important a movie as any other movie out there,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: and I believe that this audience has not had a
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: chance to see themselves on screen like this. We love
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: the light that you show us in if that makes
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: sense to you. We love that you make us. Yeah,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: you make us proud to go to the movies and
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: have It's going to be a fun time. We're gonna
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: learned something, We're gonna laugh, we might cry a little bit,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: but we're going to have a great time when we
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: go to a will Power pack a movie day. Believe
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: that I appreciate that. But anyway, so thank you will No,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: thank y'all, thanks for the support. I love y'all. Y'all
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: always support my project and that allows me to put
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: more of us than our images on screen. I cannot
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: do it without you, guys. Thank you you're listening to
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Show. All right, Keisha Cole is reportedly
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: being sued. Well, Kisha Cole, She's back in the news
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: for a couple of reason. She's going to join the
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: cast of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood. She's gonna be
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: on that. Yeah, she did with her whole family. Right now, Jay,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: she's in the news for reportedly being sued for four
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: million dollars. I don't know if you remember this. She
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: used to date Birdman, so now she's being sued for
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: four million dollars by Birdman's alleged side chick. Name is
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Sabrina uh Mercadal Is that her name? Back in two
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: thousand fourteen, a few years ago, Keisha was dating Birdman.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Like I said, She was reportedly arrested for running up
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: on Baby's l a penthouse and attacking Sabrina in a
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: jealous rage. Remember this, We did the story on the show. Now.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: According to the police reports, Keisha went nuts. She scratched
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: the woman's face all up, She beatd her. She beat
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: her while yelling, who the f are you? What are
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: you doing with my man? Yeah? You, who do you
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: f are you? What are you doing with my man?
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Sabrina filed the lawsuit Sabrina did. She filed it a
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: while back, but the breakdown of the damages was recently revealed.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Check this out. The suit includes one and a half
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: million dollars for pain and suffering, five hundred thousand dollars
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: for emotional distress, two million dollars for the loss for
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: the for the for loss of the use of a
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: body part. Wow, I didn't know. Doesn't say ash is numb? Oh,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: you know what? You know what I do? Remember what
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: this It was a muscle, some sort of muscle in
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: her arm or something. Yeah, she took the whole muscle out.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: He should beat the crap. Yeah, you never had the
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: muscle beating out of you at all. Two hundred thousand
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: dollars we're moving on, guys. Two hundred dollars for future
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: medical expenses. Fifty dollars for loss of earnings. Three hundred
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: thousand dollars for future loss of earnings. Wow, she's gonna
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: have to pay this lady something because you can't go
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: on somebody's house and just beat him up. Not that
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: it's crazy because he's just so little too, you know,
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: but she was just in a in a ray. Yeah,
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: superhuman strength at that time. I need to do better.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: What because Birdman got two people fighting over him. Listen,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: that's what you right, that's right, got to do better.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: And he owes allegedly owe somebody some money. That's some
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: rappers suing him, right Wayne, Yeah, Wayne, Yeah, that's an
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: I hope so because we'll never hear the car to
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: five if they don't tattoos? Are you making too? Man?
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: He's seen kiss you in now moved on from I
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: know that, But it seems like she pulls muscles where
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: it is Sabrina is she's also suing Birdman's building. She
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: was doing that, but she decided to drop that lawsuit.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: That condo from the lawsuits. Sabrina and her lawyer also
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: claimed her relationship with Birdman was strictly platonic, so they
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: were just friends. Were coming in. Yeah, I'm fining get
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: a spider whip on my face. Two women. But I've
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: heard on good authority that he is when he's in
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: a relationship with a woman, he treats her beautifully. That's
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: what Who is Keisha Cole gonna probably get into it
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: with on this show? She going on Mama Frankie Franky
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Frankie's back. Oh, I'm in, I'm in, I'm in. Her
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: sister never Tati was recently and stopped choking people. You're
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, good
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: news those of us who are in relationships. Couples who
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: drink together stay together. Remember were a little it was
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: it was families who pray together stay together. Yeah apparently, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: there's a here's an update. Couples who drink together stay together.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: According to a new study. Uh, if you drink alcohol together,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: you have a better chance of enjoying happier long term
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: relationships than couples who don't drink together. So to be fair,
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: the researchers also found that couples who abstained from alcohol
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: completely also tend to enjoy happier marriages. Okay, so problems
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: arise when one person. Here's the deal. C When you
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: have one person in the marriage who drinks considerably more
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: than the other, especially if the wife drinks a lot
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: more than the husband, then that's when the problems coming.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: A man not drinking with his winegl happy, I did
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: drinking people, you went there, make mine. I'm gonna go
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: drink with somebody some of you guys are both drinkers
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: and do it together, and you'll stay longer if you're
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: drunk and you don't go nowhere. That makes sense, It
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: makes sense. But if one person in the drinking people
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: not gonna work, or of neither of you drink, but
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: you know, then that'll work. You'll stay together. But you
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: know you gotta have some one out in here. Yeah,
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: I like bald drinking piece. Again. They don't know they drink.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: I drink wine, but I can do. I'm one glass
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: of one and then I love everybody. Yeah, I don't know,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: I don't know what one glass and I love everybody.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: I'm not drunk. I'm over in the corner, sleep down.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: The greatest people though, they love everybody. I had to work.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: I love hello him. You're rather rather white, red, your blood,
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: your blass. I will never go drink builds the latest Barton,
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: not Tommy. I drink white and wine. Oh yeah, you
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: drink peanut green nominally white wine and what else? I
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: sip a little crown, you know that's it? Like and whatever? Yeah,
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: I want more drink. You know you want more drink
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: away from a meeting, you know that, right? Yeah, So
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: I'm kind of pull back and it's just that white
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: now that peanuts. But why do you drink real wine? Yeah?
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Well if I dream not much of a drinker at all,
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: one glass I'll be drawn. Oh you got to pack
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: to the car. I try to hang up, but yeah, champagne. Yeah,
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: and don't even put her in the front seat. I'm
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: not a drinker. Jack got back. I'm not at all.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: What's your drink? Wine? That ain't all I know. I
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: know it's some vodka. So well, look at the time,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, last
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: break of the day, boy show by fast. This was
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: fun right there the weekend out there waiting on man,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: I got to get out there. We talked about this.
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: We talked about this earlier. Tommy, you were talking about
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: Friday when we love to eat some good old fried fish.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Fish's always good on Friday. And what do you eat? Mustard?
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: I put mustard on my friend. Don't get that and
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: not Carolina. Don't just like catch up? He started? You
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: know now you won't. Okay, it is I mean, you know,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: since we're talking about strange things, pizza ice cream is
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: a thing. Now, you guys heard about this ice cream.
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: You can thank Little Babies ice Cream in Philadelphia for Yeah,
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: it's pizza ice cream and has all the ingredients you
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: you'd likely find on a slice of pizza, like, you know, tomatoes, garlic,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: regan o, salt, crushed red pepper, all that, And while
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: it may sound less than appetizing, fans of the bizarre
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: flavor love it. The ice cream shop has even teamed
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: up with the Pizza Parla next door to create the
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: Frankfurt Avenue Taco. It's a slice of pizza with pizza
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: ice cream on top. Wow, pizza ice cream. You like it?
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: You like you can eat fish? You don't like that.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: But you know, we have such a weird affection of pizza,
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: like the fen We love pizza. We will eat pizza.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: We will eat pizza cold like two days old. But
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: if the pizza shows up cold, we got a problem. Absolutely,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: you got that right over here, Yeah, you got that right.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: But in the friend Yeah we'll eat it all day. Yeah,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: see it turned cold. Didn't see this pizza turn cold.
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: But that's the most amazing thing. Man, ice cream. Now, tomato.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: You don't know when they started putting pineapple on pizza.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: That's out here. I love it. I love it now?
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: You like it? I love it now? Yeah? Yeah, because
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: it's like the salty sweet thing. Yeah, very thing we
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: were talking about earlier someday when when when my grandma
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: and then used to have watermelon and puts out on it. Yes,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: stopped doing great fruit and put sugar. Yeah you got
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: the game. Yeah, understand that. Can we not discussed out
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: on the shell sugar? We couldn't discuss. We can't discuss
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: what can we? Can we say? Sea salt is? Does
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: that work for you? No, we can't do No, no salt,
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: you're just blaming. So this pizza ice cream wouldn't do it. No,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: I don't see how you wouldn't want to Jay you
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: eat mustard on man. I'd like to see j at
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: a family reunion. But but I will put peanut butter
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: and vanilla ice cream in a heartbeat. Man, peanut butter
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: ice cream. They do have peanut butter ice I will
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: never eat that. But he made it ice cream pizza.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: I will never eat that because those two things don't
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: go to that weird things that that's mine. That's what
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: have you had? I'll ask you this, have you had
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: like fried ice cream and all of that see I
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: can't know they had to stride butter. No, I can't
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: do that. Yeah, that's just too that's just a heart
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: attack waiting to happen. No, that's like weird stuff. I
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: know food because you go to turkey leg sits you
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: right for the whole time you walk it was one
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: and then get a funnel cake with some lemona cakes.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: You can't j had a funnel cake. You know how
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: we when we talk about TV shows and movie and
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: Steve gets man because we leave him out. Now we
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: talk about sugar. Yeah, ice cream hate you gotta eat
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: taste like, can't take to me. I'm a poison your a.
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: I'm not that person. I'm very basic when it comes
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: to food, Sushi and stuff like that. I can't do
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: can't do it. I know people love it, but I can't.
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: It's just the idea of eating wrong. Yeah I can cook,
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: but that's take her to the sush but that's all
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: she eats is the cook food, the fried just the
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: rice cook sushi though, like a sushi hold just a
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: light you just wanted, right, Oh that's good definitely, no, no, no, no,
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: eel and all that stuff. Yeah, I can eat sushi.
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: What about squid. Oh, I can eat fried calamari. That's squid, right, Yeah,
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: I gotta be called culing out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Snails, all that stuff. I eat a
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: lot of quail. That's the bird. I've had that before
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: a long time ago. Yeah. It's hard though, for me
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: to eat stuff like that. It just is mentally. I
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: can't do it. It might taste great. Yeah, you know
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: what I don't do. I don't cook stuff and and
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: give it to people not telling what it is. I
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: have had some people who do that. You know what
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: you're eating? Right? I want to unless you know what
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: it is. Unless I absolutely know what, don't go. Don't
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: like out of this country this stuff over there. Man,
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: you don't know what it is. I don't do that. Yeah,
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: I'm really weird when it comes from. I'm so basic
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: when it comes I don't experiment with me. Chicken, monkey
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: feet important. The Freeman wants to take me out to
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: dinner to some exotic restaurant. Sorry, Morgan, I love you,
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: but I'm not going. I'm going. You're doing what one day?
