- 0:01Speaker 1: The Supreme Court is officially going to review Donald Trump's
- 0:06Speaker 1: Colorado case.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Now, this is significant.
- 0:09Speaker 1: So I'm going to go through this for you so
- 0:11Speaker 1: you understand how we got to where we are and
- 0:14Speaker 1: what they're going to be looking at moving forward. You're
- 0:17Speaker 1: probably gonna want to take some notes because we're gonna
- 0:19Speaker 1: get into some legal aspects of this as well. Now,
- 0:23Speaker 1: a lot of my notes, and this came from my
- 0:26Speaker 1: conversation I had today with Senator Ted Cruz and we
- 0:29Speaker 1: were getting ready to do the podcast I do with him,
- 0:32Speaker 1: Verdict with Ted Cruz and I co host, and we
- 0:34Speaker 1: were going over how this is going to go down
- 0:38Speaker 1: and what's gonna happen. Now, you can listen to that
- 0:40Speaker 1: podcast by downloading Verdict with Ted Cruz.
- 0:43Speaker 2: In a couple of days, we're going to do a
- 0:44Speaker 2: two part on it.
- 0:45Speaker 1: But I'm going to give you some of the highlights
- 0:47Speaker 1: now so you understand how this is going to play out,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and it's going to be very very interesting how this
- 0:52Speaker 1: is gonna work. Let me go back and just kind
- 0:55Speaker 1: of lay the premise of how we got to this
- 0:57Speaker 1: going to the Supreme Court and.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Why they agreed to up this case.
- 1:01Speaker 1: First off, Colorado banned former President Trump from appearing on
- 1:07Speaker 1: the state's Republican primary ballot.
- 1:11Speaker 2: The Supreme Court.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Decided, okay, we will hear the challenge to this action. Now,
- 1:18Speaker 1: this Colorado District Court Judge Sarah Wallace ruled back in
- 1:22Speaker 1: November that Trump is not an officer of the US
- 1:27Speaker 1: as defined by the fourteenth Amendment, and that the amendment
- 1:31Speaker 1: therefore cannot be used to disqualify him from appearing on
- 1:34Speaker 1: the primary ballot. However, she's still somehow found that Trump
- 1:39Speaker 1: indeed had engaged in insurrection, her words, by inciting the
- 1:46Speaker 1: January sixth attacks on the Capitol. Now, let me just
- 1:49Speaker 1: stop there, and I want you to think about all
- 1:51Speaker 1: of the different.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Lawsuits, all the different.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Accusations, all of the different indictments of Donald Trump that
- 2:03Speaker 1: have happened all over the country. You look at Jack Smith,
- 2:06Speaker 1: for example. Jack Smith absolutely hates Donald Trump. He wants
- 2:13Speaker 1: to take down Donald Trump at all costs.
- 2:16Speaker 2: In fact, he is obsessed with Donald Trump.
- 2:20Speaker 1: And Democrats as well are obsessed with Donald Trump, and
- 2:23Speaker 1: they want nothing more than to destroy Donald Trump. Make
- 2:28Speaker 1: no mistake that that is their objective, that is their goal,
- 2:31Speaker 1: that is what they want to do. And yet nowhere
- 2:35Speaker 1: in the country has anyone actually filed a lawsuit or
- 2:41Speaker 1: i should say, charges against Donald Trump for insurrection.
- 2:46Speaker 2: The reason why is actually very.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Simple, because on the day leading up to January sixth,
- 2:54Speaker 1: the President United States of America called for peace. On the
- 2:58Speaker 1: day of January six he called for peace will protests,
- 3:02Speaker 1: not only on Twitter, but also in his actual words
- 3:06Speaker 1: during that rally that preceded the attack on the Capitol.
- 3:11Speaker 1: He said, we are going to be peaceful. We are
- 3:13Speaker 1: going to go in peace. It's very clearly there. You
- 3:16Speaker 1: can see those tweets that he had on Twitter. They're
- 3:19Speaker 1: out there. It's obvious. But then there are also other things.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And this is the reason why even Jack Smith, the
- 3:26Speaker 1: psycho crazy who's trying to lock up Donald Trump for
- 3:29Speaker 1: the rest of his life, and all these other activist
- 3:32Speaker 1: das who are trying to lock up Donald Trump and
- 3:34Speaker 1: charge him with countless crimes all over the country have
- 3:38Speaker 1: not actually charged him with insurrection. Is because they know
- 3:42Speaker 1: that the facts clearly show he was not calling for
- 3:45Speaker 1: insurrection and not a part of insurrection. Not only that,
- 3:49Speaker 1: but they also have another problem, and that problem is this,
- 3:53Speaker 1: Donald Trump offered the National Guard up multiple times to
- 3:57Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of DC, and they decline
- 4:02Speaker 1: to use the National Guard. Now, if you're calling if
- 4:05Speaker 1: you're an insurrectionist, why would you be wanting to put
- 4:08Speaker 1: in law enforcement and offering up the National Guard? To
- 4:13Speaker 1: mobilize the National Guard for January the sixth, that actual day.
- 4:18Speaker 1: So there's a problem here, right, he's on an insurrectionist.
- 4:21Speaker 1: All of his actions go against the definition of what
- 4:25Speaker 1: it even means to be an insurrectionist. And that's why
- 4:28Speaker 1: not a single Democrat has charged him. And when you're
- 4:31Speaker 1: hearing when you hear these crazies on the media, when
- 4:33Speaker 1: you're arguing with these psycholiberal democrats. And I've talked about
- 4:36Speaker 1: this a lot on our podcast. So make sure, by
- 4:39Speaker 1: the way you download our podcasts, because I do a
- 4:40Speaker 1: podcast every day and I want.
- 4:42Speaker 2: You to become a listener of it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: We give you an update every morning of the biggest
- 4:45Speaker 1: stories of the day on our podcast. Grab our podcast.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's free wherever you get your podcasts. And what we
- 4:51Speaker 1: talked about in there was the next time you get
- 4:54Speaker 1: in a debate, all right, the next time you get
- 4:57Speaker 1: into any type of debate with democrats, and like, well,
- 5:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump's insurrections, then ask them the question, Okay, if
- 5:05Speaker 1: what you're saying is true, then why on earth has
- 5:11Speaker 1: not a single Democrat activist DA who's gone after him
- 5:14Speaker 1: on all these other issues and all these other charges
- 5:16Speaker 1: and everywhere else where they've gone after him. That the
- 5:19Speaker 1: question is simple, then why okay, why have they not
- 5:24Speaker 1: charged him with insurrection? Why have they not charged Donald J.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Trump with insurrection? Somebody answered me that question in the
- 5:33Speaker 1: Democratic Party because it keeps saying his insurrections, and I'm like,
- 5:36Speaker 1: all right, well, then why did Jack Smith not charge him?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Why did the activist DA in Atlanta not charge him?
- 5:43Speaker 1: Why did they not charge him anywhere in the country
- 5:47Speaker 1: where this was an issue. That's the core question here,
- 5:50Speaker 1: and it's because they know that what I just told you,
- 5:54Speaker 1: he would not be found guilty, it would be thrown out,
- 5:58Speaker 1: it would be appealed and thrown out, and if it
- 6:00Speaker 1: went to Supreme Court they would obviously rule that way.
- 6:03Speaker 2: It's very very clear.
- 6:04Speaker 1: That's why not a single Democrat has gone after him
- 6:07Speaker 1: as being a quote insurrection is because he is not,
- 6:11Speaker 1: and by the definition, he's not and his actions were
- 6:14Speaker 1: the opposite of that. So you go back to this
- 6:17Speaker 1: Kilrade District Court Judge Sarah Wallace she knew it, and
- 6:21Speaker 1: she ruled that Trump is not an officer of the
- 6:24Speaker 1: US is defined by the fourteenth Amendment, and that the
- 6:26Speaker 1: amendment therefore cannot be used to is qualify him from
- 6:28Speaker 1: appearing on the ballot.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So then she basically made up law.
- 6:32Speaker 1: She's still somehow found that Trump indeed had engaged in
- 6:35Speaker 1: insurrection even though he had not been not been indicted
- 6:38Speaker 1: for it, not been convicted of being an insurrectionist, claiming
- 6:43Speaker 1: that he inside the January six attack on the Capitol.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So therefore, bam, we can get him off the ballot. Now,
- 6:49Speaker 1: the Colorados Supreme Court ruled four to three. They're a
- 6:51Speaker 1: liberal Supreme court. Just so you know that the Constitution's
- 6:55Speaker 1: insurrection clause prohibits former President Trump from appearing on the
- 6:58Speaker 1: ballot for the presidency into twenty four which brings us
- 7:02Speaker 1: to Last Friday, the Supreme Court announced it's agreement to
- 7:06Speaker 1: hear this appeal. Why because they understand that this is
- 7:11Speaker 1: a threat to our democracy. Not only do they understand it,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but what's even more interesting is Nancy Pelosi understands it
- 7:19Speaker 1: as well. And Gavin Newsom out in California understands it
- 7:25Speaker 1: as well.
- 7:26Speaker 2: That's the part.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Here that that really should make you laugh is even
- 7:30Speaker 1: they get it, even they understand it. They comprehend that
- 7:36Speaker 1: there is no way that you can sit here and
- 7:39Speaker 1: say that that Donald Trump should not be on the
- 7:42Speaker 1: ballot because it doesn't work right, It doesn't It doesn't
- 7:45Speaker 1: work Pelosi.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Nancy Pelosi was asked.
- 7:49Speaker 1: About this on ABC That on the Sunday Morning shoot
- 7:54Speaker 1: Show with George Sepanopplis.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Listen to what she said.
- 7:58Speaker 3: If you believe he engaged in insurrection under the plain
- 8:00Speaker 3: meaning of the fourteenth Amendment, you believe he's ineligible to
- 8:03Speaker 3: be president. There's a view of the Constitution in an
- 8:07Speaker 3: Article fourteen, section three, that he should not be able
- 8:11Speaker 3: to run for president. But that's not the point. The
- 8:14Speaker 3: point now is that again, different states have different laws.
- 8:18Speaker 3: We don't think in California that it applied in our state.
- 8:23Speaker 3: That's what the decision was made here. But anyway, not
- 8:25Speaker 3: to go into that, because that's very intricate. What is
- 8:29Speaker 3: very clear is that the American people want us to
- 8:33Speaker 3: honor our oath to protect and defend the Constitution of
- 8:36Speaker 3: the United States.
- 8:39Speaker 1: So even Nancy Pelosi saying he shouldn't be kicked off
- 8:42Speaker 1: the bout in California and he was not. Why because
- 8:45Speaker 1: she knows it would not pass the smell test. So
- 8:49Speaker 1: when you've got Democrats like Pelosi who are saying, in essence,
- 8:54Speaker 1: let the people decide, it's not.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Because she actually believes that.
- 8:56Speaker 1: It's because she knows legally that they would lose, lose,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and lose badly if they try to push this BS
- 9:07Speaker 1: on everyone else. That's what this really boils down to.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And she knows that the Supreme Court is going to
- 9:13Speaker 1: come down hard on this. Now, let's talk about how
- 9:18Speaker 1: this is going to move forward and the timeframe so
- 9:20Speaker 1: you understand just how quickly this could actually happen. What
- 9:24Speaker 1: the Supreme Court announced it's agreement to hear this appeal
- 9:28Speaker 1: is that the Court is actually going to hear arguments
- 9:31Speaker 1: oral arguments in the case February eighth. Now that means
- 9:36Speaker 1: that they are fast tracking this. And why do the
- 9:38Speaker 1: Supreme Court accept this appeal? It takes a majority of
- 9:41Speaker 1: Supreme Court justice to accept it. There was obviously more
- 9:44Speaker 1: than four. There's a very good chance this could be
- 9:46Speaker 1: all nine of them that said, yes, we need to
- 9:49Speaker 1: nip this in the butt. There is a good chance,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and there is a very good chance, if you're looking
- 9:54Speaker 1: at this constitutionally, that this should be a nine to
- 9:57Speaker 1: zero decision and a huge rebuke of Colorado and any
- 10:01Speaker 1: other psychotic activists, you know, attorney general of any one
- 10:08Speaker 1: of these states that has brought that has tried to
- 10:10Speaker 1: get Donald Trump off of the ballot by saying, you
- 10:14Speaker 1: can't do this. We don't allow this to happen in America.
- 10:17Speaker 1: We allow the American people to decide who the president is.
- 10:20Speaker 1: We don't pick and choose their candidates for them. That
- 10:23Speaker 1: is something that we do not do. Okay, That's that's
- 10:27Speaker 1: number one, and I think that's part of the reason
- 10:30Speaker 1: why they've decided to do this. Now, the decision, by
- 10:33Speaker 1: the way, after they hear these arguments, would will probably
- 10:37Speaker 1: come very quickly because Colorado's Republican primary is actually scheduled
- 10:42Speaker 1: from March to fifth. Now, this decision, by the way,
- 10:46Speaker 1: would impact numerous states as others are trying to do
- 10:49Speaker 1: the same exact thing. Let me understand for you, let
- 10:52Speaker 1: me rephrase that. Let me explain to you what would
- 10:56Speaker 1: happen if the Supreme Court actually cited with Colorado. They
- 11:03Speaker 1: would be declaring that Donald J. Trump is ineligible to
- 11:06Speaker 1: be president of the United States of America because he
- 11:08Speaker 1: is an insurrectionist by the definition. The legal theory for
- 11:16Speaker 1: these states rests on Section three of the fourteenth Amendment.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It reads this, No person shall be a senator or
- 11:22Speaker 1: representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President,
- 11:27Speaker 1: or hold any office civil or military under the United States,
- 11:32Speaker 1: or as an officer of the United States, or as
- 11:34Speaker 1: a member of any state legislature, or as an executive
- 11:37Speaker 1: or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution
- 11:40Speaker 1: of the United States of America, shall have engaged an
- 11:43Speaker 1: insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or
- 11:46Speaker 1: comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may, by a
- 11:50Speaker 1: vote of two thirds of each House, remove such disability. Now,
- 11:55Speaker 1: when they wrote this, so you understand context, and I
- 11:58Speaker 1: do think that context is obviously very important here. When
- 12:02Speaker 1: they wrote this, they were writing this in the context
- 12:05Speaker 1: of literally the most deadly war in America's history, of
- 12:08Speaker 1: the Civil War, where you had the country that was
- 12:12Speaker 1: literally divided and hundreds of thousands of Americans were being
- 12:16Speaker 1: wiped out in a civil war. Just so you understand that,
- 12:20Speaker 1: now you need to look at how this could impact
- 12:23Speaker 1: other states. Colorado is not the only state taking action
- 12:29Speaker 1: like this, trying to take away the right of the
- 12:31Speaker 1: American people to decide who they want to vote for
- 12:34Speaker 1: for president of the United States of America.
- 12:38Speaker 2: California, and I said this earlier.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I want to put this in perspective for you. California
- 12:43Speaker 1: chose the opposite approach of what some of these radical
- 12:46Speaker 1: states like Maine. Right, Maine has also disqualified Trump from
- 12:50Speaker 1: running on the same grounds, and Trump is appealing that
- 12:52Speaker 1: ruling in Maine State court because it's a little bit
- 12:55Speaker 1: different there.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'll explain that in a moment.
- 12:57Speaker 1: But Gavin Newsom actually opposed the idea of ban Trump,
- 13:00Speaker 1: saying he should instead be handed a defeat by voters.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Now I can't stand Gavin Newsom, But Gavin Newsom even
- 13:07Speaker 1: understands this. Nancy Pelosi, as I played for you a moment, Ago,
- 13:11Speaker 1: understands this. And there's also a few states that have
- 13:14Speaker 1: already decided against decision like they've done in Colorado. I'll
- 13:18Speaker 1: give you an example. Arizona. They were smart. They struck
- 13:22Speaker 1: down a citizen led petition to disqualified Trump. Minnesota Supreme
- 13:27Speaker 1: Court in November decide that the state party can put
- 13:31Speaker 1: anyone at once on its primary ballot. They dismissed a
- 13:36Speaker 1: Section three lawsuit, but said plaintiffs could try again during
- 13:40Speaker 1: the general election. Michigan's judge there ruled that Congress, not
- 13:46Speaker 1: the judiciaries, should decide whether Trump can stay on the ballot.
- 13:49Speaker 1: The ruling is obviously being appealed there, and the liberal
- 13:52Speaker 1: group behind both of the Minnesota and the Michigan cases,
- 13:55Speaker 1: Free Speeds for People, also filed another lawsuit in Oregon,
- 13:59Speaker 1: sing to bounce Donald Trump for the ballot there. Now
- 14:02Speaker 1: you've also had leftists and the mainstream media echoing their
- 14:06Speaker 1: support for these liberal groups, right saying, oh, this is
- 14:09Speaker 1: so important, this is the you know, this is we
- 14:13Speaker 1: must have this. It's it's so important that we get
- 14:17Speaker 1: him off the ballot. And why do they want them
- 14:19Speaker 1: off the ballot. Because they're afraid he's actually going to win.
- 14:22Speaker 1: It's that simple. They are afraid that he is going
- 14:27Speaker 1: to win, and so they don't want people to actually
- 14:31Speaker 1: have the ability to vote for who they want to
- 14:35Speaker 1: vote for. They don't want him to have the They
- 14:38Speaker 1: don't want you, i should say, to have the ability
- 14:41Speaker 1: to decide who you want to be president of the
- 14:43Speaker 1: United States of America. You look at for example, d
- 14:48Speaker 1: C's mayor. I want you to hear what she had
- 14:50Speaker 1: to say on Donald Trump. This was on MSNBC about
- 14:53Speaker 1: the Supreme Court. Here trump appeal of ruling banning him
- 14:57Speaker 1: from the Colorado primary ballot. Listen to the and this
- 15:00Speaker 1: is truly the mindset the Democratic Party right now.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Well, I support every state taking very aggressive action to
- 15:09Speaker 4: keep him off the ballot. He is undergoing, you know,
- 15:14Speaker 4: court action across America, and I don't know that we
- 15:19Speaker 4: have ever had a situation. Actually I do know that
- 15:21Speaker 4: we've never had a situation where sitting president could be
- 15:24Speaker 4: a convicted felon. And so the uncertainty that people are
- 15:29Speaker 4: going to the ballot with is also unprecedented. Is he
- 15:33Speaker 4: going to be on the ballot or not? Is he
- 15:34Speaker 4: going to be disqualified? Are people going to vote for
- 15:37Speaker 4: someone who's not eligible? And so all of those questions
- 15:41Speaker 4: need to be answered before the American people go out
- 15:43Speaker 4: to vote.
- 15:44Speaker 2: But what I think is.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Also very important is that people don't sit it out.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I've heard too many people saying they're going to sit
- 15:51Speaker 4: it out.
- 15:51Speaker 2: People have to go out and vote.
- 15:54Speaker 1: You listen to what she said, I support every state
- 15:57Speaker 1: taking aggressive action to keep him off the ballot.
- 16:00Speaker 2: At least she was being intellectually honest. There.
- 16:03Speaker 1: She's saying, I don't trust the American people to choose
- 16:06Speaker 1: Joe Biden again, so therefore I have to cook the
- 16:09Speaker 1: books to make sure that Joe Biden isn't on the ballot.
- 16:13Speaker 1: The easiest way to get rid of your political opponent
- 16:16Speaker 1: is to lock them up. If you don't believe me,
- 16:18Speaker 1: asked Vladimir Putin, Ask Fidel Castro, Ask any dictator or
- 16:23Speaker 1: tyrant in the history of the world, the easiest way
- 16:25Speaker 1: to get rid of your political opponent, The easiest way.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Is to lock them up.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And that's exactly what Democrats have been trying to do.
- 16:33Speaker 1: They are trying to lock him up, and they want
- 16:37Speaker 1: to lock him up so that he can never see
- 16:40Speaker 1: the light of day again. And they want him to
- 16:42Speaker 1: have a life sentence that's twenty thirty years, right. That's
- 16:45Speaker 1: why they're going after him the way they're going after him.
- 16:48Speaker 1: But when it comes to again insurrection, not one of
- 16:52Speaker 1: these radical activists, attorney generals in any one of these
- 16:57Speaker 1: radical states, not one of them folks has charged him
- 17:01Speaker 1: with insurrection because they know they would be laughed out
- 17:06Speaker 1: of court. Democrats like Bowser should be scared of the
- 17:12Speaker 1: repercussions of their actions. Bill Barr, by the way, responded
- 17:16Speaker 1: to a question of the former Attorney general and what
- 17:18Speaker 1: it means for the Supreme Court to take up this appeal,
- 17:22Speaker 1: and I want you to hear what he had to
- 17:23Speaker 1: say because it's important. He says he's not supporting Donald
- 17:27Speaker 1: Trump for re election. But even Bill Barr says the
- 17:32Speaker 1: law is clear. Bill Barr is a guy that, by
- 17:37Speaker 1: the way, is totally against Trump. Bill Barr was on
- 17:40Speaker 1: Neil Cavedo show on Fox and he was asked a
- 17:42Speaker 1: question about the efforts efforts to remove Trump off state ballots.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Here's what he said about it.
- 17:48Speaker 1: This the former age who does not like Trump, who
- 17:52Speaker 1: says he's not supporting Trump.
- 17:54Speaker 5: The Attorney General, as you know, the Supreme Court will
- 17:58Speaker 5: be taking up February to the arguments for or against
- 18:02Speaker 5: Colorado removing Donald Trump from its ballot. Whatever your personal views,
- 18:07Speaker 5: and you've made them very clear. Are the former president
- 18:10Speaker 5: You think that is an overreach for states to start
- 18:13Speaker 5: doing stuff like.
- 18:14Speaker 6: That, right, Well, absolutely. I think last time I was
- 18:19Speaker 6: on a show, Neil I said, I thought the Supreme
- 18:21Speaker 6: Court would take it up very quickly and smack it
- 18:24Speaker 6: down very quickly. Regardless of what I think of Trump
- 18:29Speaker 6: and the fact that I oppose his renomination, I think
- 18:32Speaker 6: he has to be beaten at the ballot box, and
- 18:35Speaker 6: these heavy handed efforts to disenfranchise his supporters I think
- 18:40Speaker 6: are counterproductive. If anything, they make them stronger.
- 18:44Speaker 1: You know, it's counterproductive, And if anything, they make him stronger.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Now, why would he say that, because he's right.
- 18:55Speaker 1: The left is so eager to go after Donald Trump.
- 18:59Speaker 1: The left is so eager to make January six.
- 19:01Speaker 2: A day where democracy was threatened.
- 19:04Speaker 1: You even had MSNBC's host cry while thinking an officer
- 19:10Speaker 1: for his work on January six acting like it was
- 19:12Speaker 1: nine to eleven. That's the media for you right now,
- 19:16Speaker 1: crying right, crying out there. Thank you so much for
- 19:20Speaker 1: holding the line. I'm crying on air. That's MSNBC. They
- 19:24Speaker 1: want you to believe that January sixth was truly the
- 19:27Speaker 1: worst in American history. And therefore, if you believe that
- 19:30Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump should not be on the ballot because
- 19:32Speaker 1: Donald Trump is an insurrectionist.
- 19:35Speaker 2: So if they believe it, put up or shut up.
- 19:39Speaker 2: What I mean by that is, then.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Go ahead, charge him with insurrection. Charge him with insurrection.
- 19:51Speaker 1: That's what you should do. Charge him with insurrection. If
- 19:56Speaker 1: you believe that Donald Trump shouldn't be on the ballot,
- 20:00Speaker 1: then one of you psychotic anti American socialists, communist Marxist
- 20:07Speaker 1: attorney general is of one of these liberal states, then
- 20:10Speaker 1: do your job, go after Donald Trump and charge him
- 20:14Speaker 1: with insurrection. They're not going to do it. Jack Smith
- 20:19Speaker 1: isn't going to do it, and he's crazy. None of
- 20:22Speaker 1: these other people are going to do it. And they're crazy.
- 20:24Speaker 1: None of these other people. And they hate Trump and
- 20:27Speaker 1: they want to lock him up and they want him
- 20:30Speaker 1: to rot in prison. They don't do it. They won't
- 20:34Speaker 1: do it. So what's going to happen at the Supreme Court?
- 20:37Speaker 1: That's question number one that we should answer. I believe
- 20:42Speaker 1: there's a very good chance the Supreme Court is going
- 20:44Speaker 1: to come down on this, and I think they're going
- 20:47Speaker 1: to do it swiftly. Now why, because I think the
- 20:50Speaker 1: Supreme Court understands that this is absurd. I think the
- 20:54Speaker 1: Supreme Court understands that this is wrong. I think the
- 20:59Speaker 1: Supreme Court understands that this is a straight up one
- 21:03Speaker 1: thousand percent abuse of power by these states that are
- 21:10Speaker 1: trying to do this. I think they're going to believe
- 21:12Speaker 1: that it's an American and I also think that they
- 21:15Speaker 1: understand that if they did side with Colorado, it means
- 21:19Speaker 1: that the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump,
- 21:22Speaker 1: former president, would be ineligible in every state in America
- 21:26Speaker 1: because then there would be inciant precedents and the presidence
- 21:30Speaker 1: would be that Donald Trump is an insurrections. Therefore, he
- 21:32Speaker 1: is disqualified and unable to become president of the United
- 21:37Speaker 1: States of America. This is much bigger than Colorado. It
- 21:43Speaker 1: would take him off the ballot. If they ruled in
- 21:46Speaker 1: favor of Colorado on every and it would be mandated
- 21:50Speaker 1: to take him off the ballot, he would not appear
- 21:52Speaker 1: on any ballot in this country. Wouldn't just be some
- 21:56Speaker 1: of these liberal states to be every single state in
- 22:00Speaker 1: America would then take him off the ballot. So when
- 22:04Speaker 1: you put that into perspective and you think about that,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I believe that the Supreme Court is going to look
- 22:10Speaker 1: at this and realize, even the most liberal judges, this
- 22:14Speaker 1: is not our place, This is not how this should
- 22:17Speaker 1: go down, This is not what is supposed to happen.
- 22:20Speaker 2: This should not happen.
- 22:23Speaker 1: This is wrong, and they're going to understand just how
- 22:28Speaker 1: wrong this actually is. They're going to make it clear
- 22:32Speaker 1: that you cannot in the United States of America take
- 22:35Speaker 1: out your political opponent this way. You cannot take out
- 22:39Speaker 1: your political opponent because you don't like them by then
- 22:43Speaker 1: just removing them from the ballot. Second part here, that
- 22:48Speaker 1: is also a very important aspect of this. They have
- 22:53Speaker 1: not charged him with a crime of insurrection. They've charged
- 22:57Speaker 1: him with every other crime they can think up with,
- 22:59Speaker 1: come up with with, falsify, They've tried to impeach him,
- 23:03Speaker 1: not once but twice, and they still Okay, they still
- 23:08Speaker 1: have not charged him with insurrection. So will other defiant
- 23:14Speaker 1: states follow what the Supreme Court says?
- 23:16Speaker 2: I believe they will.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I think that they're going to have to because they're
- 23:21Speaker 1: going to realize this is going to make them look stupid.
- 23:23Speaker 2: And I do believe.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I go back to what Bill Barr said, I actually
- 23:26Speaker 1: believe that they're right the way they said it. I
- 23:29Speaker 1: think they're absolutely right the way that Bill Barr put it,
- 23:32Speaker 1: that this only strengthens Donald Trump. Every time that they've
- 23:36Speaker 1: indicted Donald Trump, his poll numbers have had steady, stayed steady,
- 23:40Speaker 1: or have gone up. That's a fat number one, okay,
- 23:44Speaker 1: number two. Every time they come out and try to
- 23:46Speaker 1: kick him off a ballot, it strengthens his numbers, not
- 23:49Speaker 1: just nationwide but in the state where they're trying to
- 23:52Speaker 1: kick him off the ballot, because there are many Americans
- 23:54Speaker 1: that understand that this is what you do in communists, socialist,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Marxist countries. You lock up your political opponents. That is
- 24:02Speaker 1: a problem. And when you lock up you and if
- 24:05Speaker 1: you can't lock up your political opponents, then what do
- 24:07Speaker 1: you do? You go after them this way. It is
- 24:09Speaker 1: also a problem now the Trump's legal team, they're fighting everywhere.
- 24:18Speaker 1: And that's part of what the Democratic Party's goal and
- 24:20Speaker 1: objective is. Just so you understand that, Okay, the goal
- 24:24Speaker 1: and the objective of the Democratic Party is clear, take
- 24:28Speaker 1: Donald Trump out of campaign mode by forcing him to
- 24:31Speaker 1: go in to the courtroom. Put him in the courtroom.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Even if you lose, it's a win because it's one
- 24:37Speaker 1: less hour, one less day that Donald Trump is on
- 24:42Speaker 1: the campaign trail. That's the goal here, that's the mission here,
- 24:49Speaker 1: that's the objective here. That's all they're trying to accomplish.
- 24:53Speaker 1: They want Donald Trump off the ballot. Yes, they probably
- 24:58Speaker 1: believe they can't accomplish that. But if you can tie
- 25:01Speaker 1: him up in court and you can undermine him, and
- 25:03Speaker 1: you can make people believe that somehow he is a
- 25:05Speaker 1: guy that should not be president, and you can tie
- 25:09Speaker 1: him up in court in all of these other scenarios,
- 25:12Speaker 1: which they have clearly been able to do so far,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and you can continue to harass him and try to
- 25:19Speaker 1: bankrupt him, then you're taking him off the campaign trail.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And that is the victory. This isn't I don't think
- 25:28Speaker 1: about actually kicking him off the ballot. I think Democrats
- 25:31Speaker 1: deep down know this was not going to work. I
- 25:34Speaker 1: think the Supreme Court is going to, including the liberal Justice,
- 25:37Speaker 1: is going to make it clear that this cannot work
- 25:40Speaker 1: and this will not work. I want to make that
- 25:42Speaker 1: clear as well. I think they're going to come down
- 25:45Speaker 1: very hard on this, and the liberal judges are going
- 25:47Speaker 1: to be a part of it on the Supreme Court
- 25:49Speaker 1: because they understand what a threat this is to the
- 25:51Speaker 1: United States of America and more importantly, our democracy, and
- 25:55Speaker 1: with precedent, what it would do in the future.
- 25:59Speaker 2: But you have to underst the.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Overall goal here, the overall goal of the Democratic Party
- 26:05Speaker 1: here is to tie Donald Trump up in court. And
- 26:09Speaker 1: every time they do that and he is in court
- 26:12Speaker 1: and not campaigning, it is helping them win the White House,
- 26:16Speaker 1: or it may be a better way of saying it,
- 26:17Speaker 1: helping him helping them protect the White House. They know
- 26:21Speaker 1: they have a bad candidate. And the Supreme Court jumping
- 26:25Speaker 1: all over this as quick as they did and pushing
- 26:27Speaker 1: these or arguments as fast as they can and putting
- 26:30Speaker 1: this out as quick as they can with the timeline
- 26:32Speaker 1: that they've done, they clearly understand what a threat this
- 26:36Speaker 1: is to our democracy. I really do think there's a
- 26:38Speaker 1: good chance this is going to be a nine to
- 26:40Speaker 1: nothing decision. This I think could very well be a
- 26:45Speaker 1: unanimous decision with hardcore leftists on the Court who are
- 26:49Speaker 1: going to say, you guys have gone so far out
- 26:52Speaker 1: of bounds. This is not what we do in the
- 26:54Speaker 1: United States of America, and we're not going to send
- 26:57Speaker 1: a message that this is a appropriate or should be allowed.
