- 0:10Speaker 4: So don't given a.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Black the mill busy.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Show.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I don't joy ye joy.
- 0:53Speaker 6: They have.
- 0:59Speaker 4: You gotta turn, love, you gotta turn.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You got to turn the mouth, the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out the water,
- 1:47Speaker 4: the water looking me? Come on?
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come on, you think I sure will? Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 7: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah
- 2:10Speaker 7: I do, man, God is good. Hey today, I just
- 2:14Speaker 7: want to get right to it because this has really
- 2:16Speaker 7: been pressing me. I woke up and this was on
- 2:20Speaker 7: my mind and I wanted to share it with you
- 2:23Speaker 7: because I know this for a fact. See I've lived
- 2:28Speaker 7: this for a fact, and you know the majority of
- 2:33Speaker 7: things I talk about in the morning before we get
- 2:37Speaker 7: started with the regular show.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's something that I've experienced.
- 2:41Speaker 7: I can only tell you what I know, and so
- 2:43Speaker 7: I've really really understood why God has had my life
- 2:48Speaker 7: go the way that is gone. Because if I didn't
- 2:52Speaker 7: have all these tests in my life, I didn't have
- 2:55Speaker 7: all these tests that I passed all these tests that
- 2:58Speaker 7: I failed. If I didn't have all of those, the
- 3:04Speaker 7: good and the bad, what could I share with you
- 3:07Speaker 7: in the morning? What could I tell you about hanging?
- 3:14Speaker 7: What could I tell you about failing and then winning?
- 3:17Speaker 7: What could I tell you about hanging in now when
- 3:21Speaker 7: all hope was gone? How could I share that with you?
- 3:24Speaker 7: Unless I've had those moments myself. I don't care what
- 3:30Speaker 7: happens to you. I don't care what you're going through.
- 3:36Speaker 7: Don't you dare dare give up? Under no circumstances. Don't
- 3:42Speaker 7: you dare dare ever give up? It is the biggest
- 3:49Speaker 7: trick that the enemy has. It's making us think we
- 3:55Speaker 7: ain't gonna make it, to water down the illusion that
- 4:01Speaker 7: there is a possibility that you might still have a chance.
- 4:06Speaker 2: To get over.
- 4:08Speaker 7: The biggest trick he uses is when you make a
- 4:11Speaker 7: mistake and you fall. He gets you to start to
- 4:14Speaker 7: thinking it's final, that there is no resurrection, there is
- 4:19Speaker 7: no redemption, there is no recovery.
- 4:22Speaker 2: He just makes you think it's final. He is the
- 4:25Speaker 2: master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 4:31Speaker 7: I don't care what besets you, befalls you, trips you up,
- 4:35Speaker 7: What circumstantial situations may arise. Don't you dare dare ever
- 4:41Speaker 7: give up? Because listen to me, these are tests that
- 4:46Speaker 7: you are going through. And these tests, whether you pass
- 4:51Speaker 7: the test or it appears that you failed the test,
- 4:55Speaker 7: the test accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it.
- 5:00Speaker 2: If you pass the test.
- 5:03Speaker 7: Let's say you're going through a situation and you get
- 5:05Speaker 7: over and it goes the way you want it to do,
- 5:08Speaker 7: then what you've learned is if you hang in there,
- 5:13Speaker 7: there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:19Speaker 7: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:22Speaker 7: way you want it, and it goes the opposite and
- 5:26Speaker 7: it turns out into a negative result and the response
- 5:30Speaker 7: you were looking for is a no, that's not final.
- 5:36Speaker 2: That doesn't mean it's over. That doesn't mean it's time
- 5:39Speaker 2: to turn back.
- 5:41Speaker 7: It simply means that now you have learned a valuable experience,
- 5:48Speaker 7: you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You now know what not to do.
- 5:55Speaker 7: You are now because you know what not to do,
- 5:58Speaker 7: another step close, sir, to getting it right. Listen to me.
- 6:04Speaker 7: It has to happen this way. You have to have
- 6:09Speaker 7: the rain in your life to get the flowers in
- 6:12Speaker 7: your life. You got to have the darkness in your
- 6:15Speaker 7: life to appreciate the sunshine in your life. You got
- 6:21Speaker 7: to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys. It
- 6:27Speaker 7: is merely a test. So when you get through failing,
- 6:33Speaker 7: and you get through stumbling, and you get through messing
- 6:36Speaker 7: it up, all that's getting you one step closer to
- 6:41Speaker 7: getting it right. Oh, my relationship ended. I'll never be
- 6:45Speaker 7: able to find another person like that. Not only will
- 6:49Speaker 7: you not be able well, not only will you be
- 6:51Speaker 7: able to find a person like that, You can find
- 6:55Speaker 7: a person that far better than that if you don't
- 7:00Speaker 7: give up. But see, sometimes you got to go through
- 7:03Speaker 7: the bad ones to get to the good ones. Don't you, dare?
- 7:08Speaker 7: Dare ever give up? I don't care what happens to
- 7:11Speaker 7: you if you.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Lose a loved one.
- 7:14Speaker 7: And Lord knows, I've lost some people I've loved dearly
- 7:20Speaker 7: with every inch in me. I've lost my mother, my father,
- 7:26Speaker 7: my brother, and my best friend.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:30Speaker 7: I know people who have lost they children. Goodness, man,
- 7:34Speaker 7: I can't even imagine that, but they kept on going.
- 7:40Speaker 7: What you're giving up for? Oh?
- 7:42Speaker 2: I got you miss them? And I got you grieving,
- 7:46Speaker 2: but I got news for you.
- 7:47Speaker 7: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:50Speaker 7: for you because somebody else ain't still here.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It was their time. Now.
- 7:55Speaker 7: I'm not trying to lessen the blow for you, but
- 7:57Speaker 7: I'm trying to get you up on your feet so
- 7:59Speaker 7: you can stop all this old woe is me because
- 8:02Speaker 7: the things that's happening to you, you're not the first
- 8:04Speaker 7: person that's happened to Come on, now, let's get a grip.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Let's wrap your mind around this thing. You have got
- 8:11Speaker 7: to move forward, if it's just in memory of those people.
- 8:15Speaker 7: I was on one of the commercial breaks the other
- 8:17Speaker 7: day and somebody asked me something and I forgot the question,
- 8:21Speaker 7: but my answer was, I've always wanted my mother and
- 8:24Speaker 7: father to be proud of me, and in their absence
- 8:28Speaker 7: and their demise, I'm hoping just somehow, man that they
- 8:33Speaker 7: watching me, that they see they boy, that I'm down here,
- 8:37Speaker 7: that I'm doing better, that I'm making something out myself,
- 8:42Speaker 7: that I'm loving my wife, that I'm taking care of
- 8:44Speaker 7: my kids. Just want my old man to see that
- 8:47Speaker 7: about me. You don't want my mother to see I'm
- 8:50Speaker 7: trying to get my life together over here. You know
- 8:53Speaker 7: I'm saying I'm trying to be a better person. My
- 8:55Speaker 7: mama was a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She
- 8:58Speaker 7: been praying for me for a long time. I just hope, man,
- 9:02Speaker 7: and that's all I'm doing, is just hoping that they
- 9:05Speaker 7: see me so they can be proud of me.
- 9:07Speaker 2: See you, you you you you.
- 9:10Speaker 7: You got to understand that when you make these mistakes,
- 9:15Speaker 7: that when you fall and stumble and you get it
- 9:17Speaker 7: all so wrong, it ain't over for you. Don't you
- 9:20Speaker 7: dare dare dare ever?
- 9:22Speaker 2: Give up?
- 9:23Speaker 7: Don't stop thinking, man, because it ain't happening just the
- 9:26Speaker 7: way you want it to. That it ain't meant to
- 9:29Speaker 7: be devil. He got so many tricks to deceive you.
- 9:33Speaker 7: You know why you're being tested right now, because there
- 9:36Speaker 7: is no testimony without the test. You got to go
- 9:41Speaker 7: through something. It's all good man telling you. Just wanted
- 9:45Speaker 7: to share that with you. Don't you give up out there.
- 9:47Speaker 7: I don't care what's happening. Don't don't, don't don't get deceived.
- 9:51Speaker 7: The victory's coming, but you ain't gonna get it if
- 9:54Speaker 7: you quit.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Hang on, y'all, you're listening.
- 9:58Speaker 7: Show, ladies and gentlemen, I got time for this. You
- 10:04Speaker 7: probably thank you to yourself, Steve, what you got time for?
- 10:08Speaker 7: I got time for aunor and praise I do. I
- 10:11Speaker 7: got time to say thank you, I got time to
- 10:13Speaker 7: say I appreciate it. Man, Another shot, another day, another
- 10:17Speaker 7: glorious opportunity.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Man. That's how I want you to look at it.
- 10:21Speaker 7: If you wake up in the morning, what a great
- 10:23Speaker 7: opportunity that has been provided for you at another shot
- 10:29Speaker 7: at progressing your dreams, aspirations and goals. And it would
- 10:35Speaker 7: make it a whole lot simpler for yourself if you
- 10:38Speaker 7: put at the very top of that list, if I
- 10:42Speaker 7: can find a way to simply get closer to God,
- 10:47Speaker 7: to have a stronger relationship with him, it'll walk you
- 10:50Speaker 7: through all the peaks and valleys of life.
- 10:52Speaker 8: Man.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:53Speaker 7: And not to say it won't be none, because it
- 10:55Speaker 7: will be some, but it'll give you the strength and
- 10:57Speaker 7: the partnership that you need to get through it.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Got a partner in this whole thing, man who solid,

- 11:55Speaker 2: I know a lot of great ball headed people. What
- 11:59Speaker 2: I know, a lot of ball headed people. What's the matter.
- 12:02Speaker 3: You're trying to force me to lose my hair and

- 12:14Speaker 7: Hey, dogs, you might Steve ain't force you to lose

- 12:24Speaker 7: devil Lee or somebody. A whole lot of people on
- 12:27Speaker 7: your list you can blame for this hair. But me,
- 12:32Speaker 7: you know, and and do you know that male pattern

- 12:59Speaker 2: What's national hair lost moment? Yeah?
- 13:02Speaker 3: Okay, so I had, but you don't encourage me to

- 14:10Speaker 2: Time.
- 14:10Speaker 6: Come on here, this is but man. In the meantime,
- 14:15Speaker 6: while we do this prank, go make a copy of
- 14:17Speaker 6: your head.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Let's go catch Hello. Hey, I'm trying to read von please.
- 14:24Speaker 10: VN.
- 14:24Speaker 2: This is Darius. Darius with human Resources. How are you.
- 14:28Speaker 5: I'm doing fine?
- 14:29Speaker 2: Can I help you?
- 14:30Speaker 6: Yeah, listen, we have an incident that has taken place
- 14:34Speaker 6: at the job You actually.
- 14:37Speaker 2: What floor are you on? VN? I'm all for twelve
- 14:41Speaker 2: floor twelve? All right, So do you use the copy
- 14:46Speaker 2: machine that often on that floor?
- 14:48Speaker 5: Not all the time, but I do use it every
- 14:50Speaker 5: once in a while.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Okay, every once in a while. So here's what's going on.
- 14:55Speaker 6: There's gonna be some actions being taken place here pretty soon,
- 14:58Speaker 6: some legal actions, and we're just clearing everybody. You know,
- 15:02Speaker 6: this is just a proper procedure that we're having to
- 15:05Speaker 6: go through. So let me just kind of enlighten you
- 15:08Speaker 6: on what's taking place. Someone on the twelfth floor has
- 15:12Speaker 6: copied their butt on a piece of paper in the
- 15:15Speaker 6: copy machine. So someone actually sat up on the Xerox
- 15:19Speaker 6: machine and copied their butt. Why someone would do that,
- 15:21Speaker 6: I have no earthly idea. But what's happening now is
- 15:25Speaker 6: everyone on your floor is going to have to come
- 15:29Speaker 6: in and show their butt. So we're scheduling this now.
- 15:33Speaker 6: I'm thinking Friday at eleven am. Would that be so.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Y y'all talking, y'all talking about your woman to come
- 15:42Speaker 5: up there and show show my show my b because somebody.
- 15:48Speaker 6: I'm a grown man.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Okay, I'm a grown man.
- 15:51Speaker 4: I ain't do that.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Okay, you know what. I believe you.
- 15:54Speaker 6: I believe you wholeheartedly, Von, But just to clear your name,
- 15:58Speaker 6: we have to, I hate to say it, clear your
- 16:00Speaker 6: butt as well. So we want to make sure we're
- 16:03Speaker 6: gonna find out whose butt.
- 16:04Speaker 2: This is on a piece of paper, that did this.
- 16:06Speaker 2: We're gonna find out, you're.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Gonna find you're gonna find out who's You're gonna find
- 16:09Speaker 5: out whose cheeks those are, and you're gonna find out
- 16:11Speaker 5: real quickly. In our mind, all right, I'm not doing that, man,
- 16:14Speaker 5: I'm not gonna come in. You said Friday, You're doing
- 16:17Speaker 5: this on.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Friday, EDI Friday at eleven not coming that my day off.
- 16:21Speaker 5: I'm pulling my past down, but some strangers looking really
- 16:25Speaker 5: look at my look at my cheeks, talking about somebody copied.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I'm not doing that. I don't I don't want to.
- 16:32Speaker 6: I don't want this to take a turn, Vin, because
- 16:34Speaker 6: right now this is if you're not if you're saying
- 16:37Speaker 6: you're not coming in, then other actions will be taking
- 16:40Speaker 6: place if you don't come in and follow the precedure
- 16:43Speaker 6: that everybody's saying.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Everybody else that I'm calling they have to come in.
- 16:48Speaker 5: How many how many people work on that floor?
- 16:50Speaker 2: There's at least eighty plus people on that floor.
- 16:53Speaker 5: You're talking about trying to have eighty plus people come in,
- 16:57Speaker 5: drive all way work so somet we don't even know
- 17:01Speaker 5: can look at our look at our cheeks, and I'm
- 17:04Speaker 5: not gonna do that. I don't know who did it,
- 17:06Speaker 5: but I know they ain't me.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Well, somebody somebody xeroxs there butt on the twelfth floor,
- 17:13Speaker 6: and we're gonna get to okay, but we're gonna get
- 17:16Speaker 6: to the bottom of who did it and what you're
- 17:18Speaker 6: what you're not gonna do, von is tell me you're
- 17:20Speaker 6: not coming in.
- 17:21Speaker 2: What you're not gonna do? Do you like your job
- 17:24Speaker 2: here with this company?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Okay, what you're not gonna do is exactly like you're
- 17:28Speaker 5: gonna fire me because I'm not gonna show y'all my
- 17:30Speaker 5: sweet goodies just because you just because you're from HR
- 17:34Speaker 5: you got me food. If you actually expect me to
- 17:36Speaker 5: think that everybody that work from this floor is over here,
- 17:40Speaker 5: like oh yeah, sure, I'll go with some strangers. Look
- 17:43Speaker 5: at my Look at my crack. You must be playing, no, sir,
- 17:47Speaker 5: not with me.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Okay, let me ask let me, let me ask you this.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Do you have a coworker named Andre Andre?
- 17:54Speaker 5: Yes?
- 17:55Speaker 6: Okay, and Andre says he knows you. Now, I'm just
- 17:59Speaker 6: gonna put it out here. Andre is stating that it
- 18:02Speaker 6: could have possibly been you.
- 18:05Speaker 5: Really, Andre got the nerve to say it could have
- 18:07Speaker 5: been me? Smith, Andre? Why didn't he trying to single
- 18:11Speaker 5: me out? Like I even use that damn copier not
- 18:14Speaker 5: around there playing games. I'm a grown man. He must
- 18:17Speaker 5: be out of his mind thinking he gonna say I
- 18:20Speaker 5: did it.
- 18:21Speaker 6: All I know is he stated that you were a possibility.
- 18:24Speaker 6: That's what That's what he stated.
- 18:25Speaker 5: He said I was a possibility. That that's dumb. He
- 18:30Speaker 5: ain't have absolutely the reason to think it. I even
- 18:32Speaker 5: used that copier. Man, I use that thing like once
- 18:34Speaker 5: every two to three weeks, everybody on that floor.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Okay, so out of once every two three weeks, is
- 18:40Speaker 6: there a possibility maybe you propped your butt up there
- 18:43Speaker 6: and copied it?
- 18:44Speaker 5: Not at all, y'all. Do ain't even told me when
- 18:46Speaker 5: this happened. I probably wasn't even working when the booty him.
- 18:51Speaker 5: You can you must be out your mind. You can
- 18:54Speaker 5: waste everybody else the time trying to bring everyone in
- 18:57Speaker 5: to get a free strip show. But you're not gonna
- 18:59Speaker 5: do that to me. This has to be unethical and
- 19:03Speaker 5: illegal on so many levels. You're trying to come in
- 19:06Speaker 5: and say everybody on the entire floor has to come
- 19:09Speaker 5: show that. Man, you want to be kidding me?
- 19:12Speaker 4: What's your name?
- 19:14Speaker 5: Whole time You're trying to call me saying this is
- 19:16Speaker 5: h R.
- 19:16Speaker 4: What's your name?
- 19:17Speaker 6: Because when I'm Darius, I'm Darius out of human Resources.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I told you that when I first called you.
- 19:23Speaker 5: And well Darius, well Darius, when I do come into work,
- 19:28Speaker 5: I want to see.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Let me ask you this VN. Do you know Leslie?
- 19:33Speaker 5: Leslie? I know that much better not even say my.

- 26:43Speaker 7: if you've been in a relationship for three years or
- 26:45Speaker 7: what where y'all going? Why are you in it this long?
- 26:48Speaker 7: If you don't want nothing else out of it, you
- 26:52Speaker 7: should be dating other people. But if you had a

- 26:57Speaker 7: cabin in the mountains.

- 39:49Speaker 2: look at you in wonder why you matter. Where your
- 39:51Speaker 2: man is, where your kids like.
- 39:53Speaker 8: It's a prerequisite for identity and value that if you
- 39:57Speaker 8: don't have a man, if you don't have kids, that
- 40:00Speaker 8: something about you is broken.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Do you understand how this functional.
- 40:05Speaker 8: These messages are and how we super spiritualize these messages,
- 40:10Speaker 8: Paul said, But marriage is a necessary distraction.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Kirk had more to say.
- 40:16Speaker 8: They quickly get married thinking that they're fulfilling God's will
- 40:20Speaker 8: for their lives. But they are, They are fulfilling Man's dogma.
- 40:25Speaker 8: You can be single and be used by God. You
- 40:28Speaker 8: can be single and have purpose. Being married is not
- 40:32Speaker 8: a prerequisite for God's hand on your life.
- 40:34Speaker 5: It is not man.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Kirkmen, Yes, well, you know something.
- 40:44Speaker 7: I agree with that, and I think that's what happens
- 40:48Speaker 7: to a lot of women. And I want to say something.
- 40:50Speaker 7: Look to a lot of single women out there. You know,
- 40:55Speaker 7: Kirk said something. He said, you can have a purpose.
- 41:00Speaker 2: You know, has it ever occurred to us? Sometimes sometimes
- 41:04Speaker 2: people are on a different path.
- 41:06Speaker 7: Just because you picked the path to go down, don't
- 41:08Speaker 7: mean that's the path that that person has to go down.
- 41:11Speaker 2: You can have a purpose in your life and be single.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Sometimes that's the path you have to go down.
- 41:17Speaker 7: There are a lot of really, really great single women
- 41:21Speaker 7: out there who have incredible lives and an incredible purpose
- 41:28Speaker 7: and careers and still single. It don't mean that there
- 41:34Speaker 7: has not been office for her not to be single.
- 41:37Speaker 7: She just didn't want to make that bad choice, you know,
- 41:41Speaker 7: just cause you know it's a lot of women could
- 41:43Speaker 7: be off the market.
- 41:45Speaker 2: But off the market with who.
- 41:48Speaker 7: If he ain't the right one, what you're going down
- 41:50Speaker 7: that alley FORLF? So, yeah, exactly, you know, I mean,
- 41:57Speaker 7: and and God uses single people. God has used prostitutes.
- 42:02Speaker 7: God has used murderers. God has used adulteress. God has
- 42:07Speaker 7: used liars, stutterers. Every everything he done, used all kinds
- 42:15Speaker 7: of people, and everybody he used, society says something's wrong
- 42:20Speaker 7: with him.
- 42:23Speaker 2: So he's absolutely right. If you go to the U
- 42:26Speaker 2: thirty thirty five, you ain't got nobody.
- 42:27Speaker 7: Well, you know, you know how many times we've made
- 42:32Speaker 7: a mistake with the wrong person in your thirties.
- 42:38Speaker 6: You people in the I mean miserable people in the
- 42:43Speaker 6: family that's over there talking about you ain't got they
- 42:45Speaker 6: stuff together right over there, I ain't got they stuff together.
- 42:52Speaker 7: Yeah, and it's sitting under the tree at the family reunion.
- 42:56Speaker 7: They're four kings, four baby daddy talking about she ain't
- 43:01Speaker 7: got no kids, don't nobody want her?
- 43:03Speaker 2: Noah, Maybe she made some better decisions, you know. Yeah,
- 43:09Speaker 2: But what I found out, most people that's pointing.
- 43:14Speaker 7: Got to look at them three fingers at that's pointing
- 43:17Speaker 7: at them while they sticking their index finger out at you.
- 43:19Speaker 7: Because that's always the case. So you know, I say that,
- 43:24Speaker 7: but I agree with what Kirk saying. You know, it's
- 43:27Speaker 7: kind of crazy.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Yeah, stop doing.
- 43:30Speaker 2: It, because I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 43:32Speaker 7: The first time I got married, you know, I was
- 43:36Speaker 7: going to church on the regular and that was a
- 43:39Speaker 7: big part of it. And one of the messages was
- 43:43Speaker 7: it is better to marry than to burn. That was
- 43:46Speaker 7: a big message at our church. And we were encouraged
- 43:50Speaker 7: to marry if we was dating these girls at this church,
- 43:53Speaker 7: we were encouraged to get married.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I can't tell you all the marriages is gone.
- 44:01Speaker 7: You just want to burn him, burn, burn me, b Yeah,
- 44:08Speaker 7: I got married and did burn.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Okay, So thank you Kirk for that word. All right,
- 44:15Speaker 1: coming up next to the nephew and the prank phone
- 44:17Speaker 1: call for today right after this, you're listening morning show
- 44:24Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:26Speaker 1: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 44:29Speaker 1: the subject is he's afraid of a competition, which you
- 44:34Speaker 1: see he's competing with. I should say what he's competing with.
- 44:38Speaker 1: That's coming up too, But right now the nephew is
- 44:41Speaker 1: here with today's prank phone call. What you got for
- 44:44Speaker 1: his neph.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Well, we all grew up in the church, every last
- 44:47Speaker 2: one of us on this show.
- 44:48Speaker 1: We grew up in the church.
- 44:49Speaker 2: And there's one position in the church that you respect.
- 44:53Speaker 6: There's one that you just do not cross the line
- 44:57Speaker 6: with this particular position, and that is the usher boy.
- 45:02Speaker 6: Usher all right, is the usher lady?
- 45:08Speaker 2: We don't. You don't not.
- 45:11Speaker 6: You don't cross the usher lady at all. You never crossed.
- 45:15Speaker 6: It is not a game cat dog.
- 45:17Speaker 2: If you would Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach your sister.
- 45:25Speaker 13: How you doing.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Uh? Good, good evening to you, ma'am.
- 45:27Speaker 6: I don't mean to be giving you a call this
- 45:29Speaker 6: late in the evening, but I I am the new
- 45:32Speaker 6: youth minister.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I haven't. My name is Sean Williams over at Missionary
- 45:37Speaker 2: Baptist Church.
- 45:37Speaker 13: Which minus what's new Youth Minnesota.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Uh he's no longer with the church anymore.
- 45:44Speaker 1: Man.
- 45:45Speaker 2: No, Oh, well, I'm not at liberty to speak upon that.
- 45:51Speaker 6: But but what I was doing is getting around and
- 45:54Speaker 6: making sure I met everyone because I haven't met everyone yet,
- 45:58Speaker 6: and I wanted to reach out to everyone at the church.
- 46:02Speaker 6: But listen, let me, let me get down to some
- 46:04Speaker 6: more business. Because I've I've spoken with the pastor.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Uh we spent.
- 46:11Speaker 13: Yes Bishop, yes, ma, I know you knew, but this bishop, Okay.
- 46:16Speaker 6: I spoke with him on yesterday, and we have narrowed
- 46:21Speaker 6: some things down of a few changes we're going to
- 46:23Speaker 6: be making at the church, and what we want to
- 46:25Speaker 6: do is one of the major subjects that have come up, sister,
- 46:29Speaker 6: is that we're wanting you, if at all possible, and
- 46:33Speaker 6: the deacons we're in on this meeting as well, but
- 46:36Speaker 6: wanting you to change your attitude when people are coming
- 46:40Speaker 6: in and you're seating them.
- 46:41Speaker 2: From my understanding, it's gotten to the point where.
- 46:43Speaker 13: They think, you, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait wait
- 46:45Speaker 13: a minute, had a meeting on me.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Well it wasn't amating.
- 46:50Speaker 13: Listen here, I've been ushering on that on a usher
- 46:53Speaker 13: board for forty seven years. I am the same usher
- 46:58Speaker 13: on that board, and I've been trying to be nuts
- 47:01Speaker 13: about it. But I don't understand how y'all gonna have
- 47:03Speaker 13: a meeting without me that first of all. But now
- 47:07Speaker 13: you're gonna call here and tell me that you're gonna
- 47:09Speaker 13: have you having a meeting on me about me being nice,
- 47:13Speaker 13: always nice.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Well, ma'am, that doesn't.
- 47:15Speaker 5: Seem to be the problem with that son.
- 47:18Speaker 2: So there's you twenty seven, ma'am, you're.
- 47:21Speaker 13: Gonna some boy to call me. You know this don't
- 47:24Speaker 13: make no okay, what is it?
- 47:27Speaker 5: Well?
- 47:27Speaker 6: What that's actually my call, ma'am, is that maybe we
- 47:31Speaker 6: figured if I would call and speak with you about
- 47:33Speaker 6: the matter, that maybe we can get to some type
- 47:36Speaker 6: of uh rectifying this situation to where we.
- 47:39Speaker 13: Can We're gonna rectify here. I'm gonna rectify you calling
- 47:43Speaker 13: me this time of night, tal I some meeting. This
- 47:46Speaker 13: don't make no time. And I don't appressionate you calling
- 47:50Speaker 13: me any time of night. Away, Bishop, I need to
- 47:53Speaker 13: speak the bishop.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Bishop.
- 47:57Speaker 13: I've been at this term forty seven years. That say,
- 48:00Speaker 13: oh my life, this don't make no type of sense.
- 48:02Speaker 13: You calling me here with this mess. Now, y'all gonna
- 48:05Speaker 13: make me cuss. I'm trying to be a question, but
- 48:08Speaker 13: y'all not gonna lost me be a Christian. She's just
- 48:11Speaker 13: gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess.
- 48:13Speaker 5: We're telling me about something.
- 48:14Speaker 6: Be nice, well, Mamber, that that son that they're having
- 48:17Speaker 6: problems when you're seeding the people, and that's all that
- 48:19Speaker 6: we're trying to get.
- 48:20Speaker 13: Reed people don't want to sit down. They want to
- 48:23Speaker 13: go over here, they want to go over there. They
- 48:25Speaker 13: want to have the children running to and frow. It's
- 48:27Speaker 13: like a bunch of beamons a while he's just bucking
- 48:30Speaker 13: around in the trench like they ain't got no sense.
- 48:32Speaker 13: And I'm not gonna have it in my section.
- 48:34Speaker 5: My section is gonna be strife, and.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I understand it. Let you know what.
- 48:39Speaker 6: I think if we did this, if you would do
- 48:41Speaker 6: me a favor and hold your phone, and if you
- 48:43Speaker 6: would just bow your head right now for me, maybe
- 48:46Speaker 6: we can come to to get to get the man out.
- 48:50Speaker 13: What am I buying my head for?
- 48:51Speaker 7: I ain't.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Bad.
- 48:54Speaker 13: If we can laws as clean it's hospital carpet, It
- 48:57Speaker 13: don't make no traversent for me about why did I
- 48:59Speaker 13: buy my head?
- 49:00Speaker 2: If you could, maybe if you could close your eyes, sister, sister.
- 49:04Speaker 13: I said, you called me and woke me up out
- 49:07Speaker 13: of my feet with this. Master, Come on, come meet.

- 49:14Speaker 5: Speak to this now. Father.
- 49:15Speaker 2: We asked that you look down upon sister.
- 49:18Speaker 6: We asked that you look down upon her right now,
- 49:22Speaker 6: right now, asking that you put a smile on her
- 49:24Speaker 6: face on Sunday morning, asking that you put some joy
- 49:28Speaker 6: in her heart on Sunday morning, asking that you draw
- 49:31Speaker 6: all the pain that she in, the anguish that she
- 49:33Speaker 6: might be going through, whatever demon there is inside.
- 49:37Speaker 14: We asked that you draw that demon out. We asked
- 49:40Speaker 14: that you poured that demon away from sister right now.
- 49:44Speaker 14: Any your name, We asked all of these blessings to come.

- 51:34Speaker 2: What is the baddest radio show in the land is.

- 54:09Speaker 6: Here.
- 54:09Speaker 1: It is Strowberry Letter, subject thinking if you the subject
- 54:14Speaker 1: is He's afraid of the competition. Got to do a
- 54:16Speaker 1: little disclaimer here for our audience. If you have young
- 54:19Speaker 1: children in the car with you or at home, you
- 54:23Speaker 1: don't want them to hear this letter. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:27Speaker 1: I'm thirty seven years old and dating a man that's
- 54:29Speaker 1: thirty five. We met online and things have been going
- 54:32Speaker 1: really good for us. It's been a year, but we've
- 54:34Speaker 1: made the long distance thing work. He does a great
- 54:37Speaker 1: job at coming to see me, and he's flown me
- 54:40Speaker 1: out a few times for the weekend. Our biggest problem
- 54:43Speaker 1: is our sex drives. He is over the top, and
- 54:46Speaker 1: now that I'm getting it regularly, I want it all
- 54:49Speaker 1: the time. He uses explicit videos and I use my toys.
- 54:53Speaker 1: He sends me picks of himself, but I'm too scared
- 54:56Speaker 1: to do that because of my job. He has never
- 54:59Speaker 1: seen my toy until recently. He wanted to see what's
- 55:03Speaker 1: taking place, what's taking his place when he's not around.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I reached under my pillow to pull out Chocolate Thunder.
- 55:11Speaker 1: He gasped, and I couldn't stop laughing. He said, it's
- 55:15Speaker 1: not a laughing matter and I need to get go
- 55:17Speaker 1: get a check up immediately. I could not stop laughing.
- 55:21Speaker 1: I put it away and we went to dinner. The
- 55:23Speaker 1: entire night, he was worried about the toy I showed him,
- 55:26Speaker 1: and he said, there's no way possible that I used that.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I was still tickled thinking he was playing. We were
- 55:33Speaker 1: intimate a lot before he left. When I drove him
- 55:36Speaker 1: to the airport, he confessed that he hid my chocolate
- 55:39Speaker 1: from me. He said he can't measure up to mister Chocolate,
- 55:44Speaker 1: and I didn't need to be using that while he's gone.
- 55:47Speaker 1: I begged him to tell me where he put it,
- 55:51Speaker 1: but he wouldn't. He was not laughing at all. He
- 55:54Speaker 1: is seriously afraid of a competition, not knowing the woman's
- 55:58Speaker 1: anatomy at all. I assured him that he's more than
- 56:02Speaker 1: enough for me, and I'm happy with him. He said
- 56:04Speaker 1: that I better not order another mister Chocolate. How can
- 56:08Speaker 1: we possibly be arguing over a gadget? Is this normal
- 56:12Speaker 1: in a new relationship or is it a red flag
- 56:15Speaker 1: that he's insecure? Well, it definitely, you know, could be
- 56:20Speaker 1: that he's intimidated or insecure. I mean, the name itself
- 56:24Speaker 1: is a lot chocolate Thunder, and the way you said
- 56:28Speaker 1: he gassed when he saw it, it sounds like it
- 56:32Speaker 1: did scare him a little and may make him feel insecure.
- 56:35Speaker 1: So yes, he is serious about all of this. He
- 56:39Speaker 1: asked you to see a doctor because I'm assuming the
- 56:42Speaker 1: size of mister Thunder. He confessed to you that he
- 56:46Speaker 1: cannot measure up to mister Chocolate. Then he hid it
- 56:50Speaker 1: and told you to stop using it when he's not around,
- 56:52Speaker 1: and he was not laughing. You're the only one who's
- 56:56Speaker 1: finding humor in this situation. So if you want to
- 56:59Speaker 1: make him happy and keep him around for some more years,
- 57:01Speaker 1: you guys have been together for a year. Either you
- 57:05Speaker 1: get a different size toy, a smaller toy, or keep
- 57:08Speaker 1: mister Chocolate Thunder and run the risk of your man
- 57:11Speaker 1: continuing to judge you about this and being mad about this.
- 57:14Speaker 1: It's competition for him, like you said, so his ego
- 57:17Speaker 1: is involved. He's already told you he can't measure up
- 57:20Speaker 1: to mister Thunder Chocolate Thunder. And even though you let
- 57:24Speaker 1: him know you're happy with him and he's enough for
- 57:26Speaker 1: you and all that, he's not trying to hear any
- 57:28Speaker 1: of that because to him, size matters, even if it's
- 57:31Speaker 1: a toy. So this is a problem in your relationship, Steve.
- 57:36Speaker 7: Yeah you got problem. Yeah, yeah, we got problem. We
- 57:40Speaker 7: ain't gonna maybe fix this for you either. Then I'm
- 57:42Speaker 7: just tell you I'm gonna just keep it one hundred
- 57:44Speaker 7: with you. Ain't a damn thing we can do. I
- 57:47Speaker 7: can't help you. I don't know why you wrote me
- 57:49Speaker 7: with this here. I don't know what's wrong with you.
- 57:52Speaker 7: Sometimes you just gotta keep something to your damn self.
- 57:58Speaker 7: I don't know why people feel like they got to
- 58:02Speaker 7: tell everything. Shut your mouth. Ain't nobody got to know
- 58:09Speaker 7: all your secrets. You met this man online. You thirty seven,
- 58:14Speaker 7: he thirty five. Things been going really good. It's been
- 58:20Speaker 7: a year now and y'all have pretty much made the
- 58:23Speaker 7: long distance thing work. He does a great job of
- 58:27Speaker 7: coming to see you on weekends, and he'd have flew
- 58:29Speaker 7: you out sometimes to y'all, looker, our biggest problem is
- 58:35Speaker 7: our sex drives. Now, let me explain some teeth when
- 58:38Speaker 7: you start your letter that y'all been dating for a year,
- 58:41Speaker 7: and y'all's biggest problem is y'all's sex drives, not your
- 58:48Speaker 7: sex drive or his sex drive. Y'all's sex drives. His
- 58:54Speaker 7: is over the top, and now that I'm getting it regularly,
- 58:57Speaker 7: I want it all the time. So we got two
- 58:59Speaker 7: people whose sex drives is over the top. He uses
- 59:04Speaker 7: explicit videos and I use my toys. He sends me
- 59:09Speaker 7: picking himself, but I'm too scared to do that because
- 59:12Speaker 7: of my job, Thank you very much.
- 59:15Speaker 2: That's good.
- 59:16Speaker 7: He has never seen my toys until recently, so he
- 59:21Speaker 7: asked you to show him what's taking his place when
- 59:23Speaker 7: he ain't there. You reached under your pillar. Hear what
- 59:28Speaker 7: this whole letter is about. You reached under your pillar
- 59:34Speaker 7: to pull out chocolate. Thunder Lord her mercy.
- 59:40Speaker 2: He gassed.
- 59:43Speaker 7: I don't know what you pull from under that pillar,
- 59:47Speaker 7: but I think that pillar barely could cover it up
- 59:51Speaker 7: because it sounded like chocolate.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Thunder was weigh too much chocolate, and weigh too much thunder.
- 59:58Speaker 2: It was just too much. He got huh.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: It took his breath away. You start laughing. Now, I'll
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: be sitting there going the hell funny. Now, when we
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: come back to this letter, I'm going to introduce you
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: to some things that you're not familiar with. And it
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: don't matter if the kids hear my answer or not,
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: because my answer will not be explicit in any way.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: It's just you got to do something different, and I
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: have found the way.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: When we come back, all right, we'll have part two
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: the hour. The subject is he's afraid of the competition.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve Let's
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is He's afraid of
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: a competition.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well this is a.
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: Really a funny letter. The people met online that'd been dating.
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: She thirty five, he thirty seven. A long dish relationship
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: has been working and he flies her. He come to
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: see her weekends and fly her out of town to
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: see him. That's been going all right, and the only problem,
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: they say is they sex drives. They over the top.
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: His is over the top and hers over the top.
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: So when they got around each other, he used videos
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: and she used her toy. So he got inquisited one
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: day and say, what takes my place when I'm aney
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: not there? She reached under the pillar and pulled out
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: something called chocolate Thunder. Now chocolate thunder made him gas
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: because obviously it was too much chocolate and too much
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: damn thunder.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: She laughed.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: He didn't think it was funny. So they went on,
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: had they wonderful week in But then when he left,
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: he let her know I didn't hid chocolate thunder. Now
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: what he don't know is she done told that damn
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: house up trying to find chocolate thunder. This she all
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: sheet rock and she'd have took the she'd have took
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: the insulation out the attic.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: It pinched stuff all over the damn house. She done
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: called in rot a rudah.
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: She got a plumber, then went all down in the
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: tarlets and she didn't had septic people come in. She
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: all out in the back She didn't hide four blood
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: hounds to come there all in the backyard. She got
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: cadiver dogs looking for this thing in this backyard. Cause
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: Chocolate Thunder meant something to her. Her problem is she
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: showed it to him. Now he didn't sold her. Don't
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: order no more damn chocolate Thunder. So now here's where
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: Uncle Steve come in at. This is the part I'm
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: good at. You're gonna have to go back and get
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: another model. That several models out there that you can
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: choose from, and I have the names, and it'll be

- 1:04:43Speaker 7: to stay away from Chocolate Thunder, though. Here's one that
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: will really make you feel good. Chocolate sprinkles. Try that

- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I he We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: listening morning show. All right, Steve, this is about a
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: subject to you is near and dear to your heart.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: GT on Reddit Rights, My girlfriend and I have just
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: moved in together, and she already wants to say and
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: how I pee. She's insisting that I pee sitting down.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Her demand is based on what. Yeah, her demand is
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: based on her desire not to stand in whatever quote
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: misses the toilet or sit in or clean up anything
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: that doesn't directly hit the water the record, I pride
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: myself on being a quote neat pier and have no
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: problem cleaning up after myself in the event I miss
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: the mark. We're less than a than two months into
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: living together, and have you ever heard of this demand?
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: GT wants to know, Yeah, anybody's sitting down to peek
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you that's one of the great joys
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: of being a man, being able to stand there anywhere outside, inside,
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: in the snows, away from the tree, drawing your initials
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: on the on the tree.
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: Bob.
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: It's just too many joys. I'm standing there. Come on, now,
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: listen to me. Everybody misses. Let me give you all
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: some reasons why. Number one, sometimes it ain't missing the mark.
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: Sometimes it's when it's over. When it's over, you have to.
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: Let's just say again, let's say you have to.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: You have to.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: It's like it's okay, it's like a fireman. It's like
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: a fireman.
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: The fireman go to a fire and they and they
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: put in the fire out right, And then when they
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: get back to the firehouse, when they take the truck
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: with the fire holes back to the firehouse, they gotta
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: wrap the holes back up.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Well, you gotta squeeze all the water out to wrap
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: up the fire holes.
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: You feel mere, yeah, because there's always yeah, it's water
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: in the fire hole.
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: So they get all the water out of fire and
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: that that's how the shake happens.
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: Come on, what you're supposed to do is the seed
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: is up and you take a little like y'all gotta
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: use toilet tishes every time y'all go, we take a
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: little bit and wipe off the little rim all you
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: can just put the seat back down and she don't
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: never know.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: But the main thing is you have to have or
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: some type of rug in front of that toilet. Oh yeah,
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: you have to have that rug in front of the toilet.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: You better be. The worst thing is.
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: Fall on the floor on that marble or that wood
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: and she coming down, sit down and step in it.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: That way. Your problem. Got to have a rug. My
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: strong suggestion is a dark colored rug. And why is that?
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Tell them? Why is that?
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: Well, because then there's no trace of it, and you
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: want it to be thick, so it absorbed down there
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: and it don't be wet. You got to help yourself.
- 1:13:37Speaker 7: But ain't nobody coming in that sitting down. I'm just
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: telling you this. I the hell I'm gonna sit down.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: I pulled my pants all the way down, taking one
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: of them. Joy But man, please, man, that's like, where's
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: one of the joints of being in my ranch? My
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: wife will be riding on the truck around the ranch.
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: You know, got them open vehicles, right, I go to
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: the bathroom. I just get out and go to the bathroom.
- 1:14:03Speaker 7: Why are you peeing outside?
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: What you think? What the hold up?
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: You think I'm finna get back in this truck and
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: ride all the way back to the hell Get off
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: the truck, go in the house.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: Yes, and pe in that toilet.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: Dude, we have to do.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what you have to do.
- 1:14:23Speaker 7: So you are missing one of the great joys. I
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: won't see how many leaves I can move away from
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: the base of this tree. Imost see if I could
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: muster up the strength to move one of these tiny
- 1:14:39Speaker 7: rocks like.
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: I used to do. I used to could move one.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: I could move along. Okay, when I was about sixteen,
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: we told the.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: World you wrested outside.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Then, who don't junior?
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: Do you?

- 1:20:24Speaker 1: listening morning show, all right. Here we are on this Tuesday,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: our last break of the day.
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: Yeah, hey, in close the remarks today, I want I
- 1:20:36Speaker 7: want to do something for people. I want to remind
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: you of one simple thing. Don't ever ever give up.
- 1:20:47Speaker 7: Don't ever ever give up. I cannot tell you how
- 1:20:54Speaker 7: many times I have seen people turn back. I have
- 1:21:01Speaker 7: seen people throwing the tie right before the blessing came.
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: I can't tell you how many people that I know
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: decided to just stop and made the decision that it's
- 1:21:17Speaker 7: too hard. I can't tell you how many people I
- 1:21:21Speaker 7: know who lived their life in utter regret.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: I was talking with a group of people.
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: That I know, and one of them said, Man, Harve,
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: I wish I had did what you did. Man, just
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: went on and followed my dreams. But you know, man,
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: it was taking so long. It got so hard, man,
- 1:21:38Speaker 7: and I just I just I just gave up. And
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: as we were talking, you know, I try not to
- 1:21:45Speaker 7: be belittling when I'm talking to people, because I try
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: to show have empathy for people when they're talking. But
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: I said, but man, but bruh, how's that working for you?
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Though? He said, Man, I just regret it.
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: And I don't want people out there who are listening
- 1:22:02Speaker 7: to me to live a life of regret, because I'm
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: telling you, man, the cost of success is high, but
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: the bill for regret, Oh my goodness, that thing keeps
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: charging you over and over and over and over again,
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: when when you what you had to do was make
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: the decision to never give up. Now, Look, it don't
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: mean you can't stop and rest. It don't mean that
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: you ain't gonna have no bad days. It don't mean
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: that you ain't gonna think about it. It don't mean
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: that it's gonna appear so easy to just stop right now.
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: If I stop the pursuit of my dreams and aspirations
- 1:22:52Speaker 7: right now, I won't have to show up here tomorrow.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: I won't have to do that. Nobody will expect this, y'all.
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: All.
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: That's true, and it's sounds easy, and it is easy
- 1:23:03Speaker 7: to give up. It is because all you got to
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: do is stop. But what happens when you give up
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: is that you in all possibilities of it ever happening.
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: You remove any chance of your dreams ever coming true.
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: You just remove them yourself. But listen to me. If
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: you don't give up, if when you stumble, you keep
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: stumbling is and when you fall, don't stay down, man,
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: Just just don't give up. When you fall, crawl on
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: your stomach army style. If you fall, just get up
- 1:23:46Speaker 7: to your knees, look to the heavens and ask God
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: for strip. If you got to crawl part of the way.
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: Just don't give up. I don't care how it looks
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: on your trip to success. I don't care how froth
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: with danger your journey is. Just don't give up. Let
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: me tell you man. You know, and golf they have
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: a saying, ain't no pictures on the scorecard. I was
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: playing with Tommy one time. I don't know if he
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: remembers this, but Tommy hit a shot and it hit
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: a tree, and the ball bounced off the tree and
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: rolled up on the green two inches from the cup.
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: Now guess what we had to give him a birdie.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: But guess what, ain't no.
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: Pictures on the skull card. And that's how life works, man,
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: It ain't no pictures. Nobody at the end goes show
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: me your picture. They just look at the results. But
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: you can only get the results if you keep playing,
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: if you keep waking up, if you keep putting one
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: foot in front of the other. It don't matter how
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: pretty it is. And I don't care how ugly it gets.
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: You can win ugly as long as you win. Don't
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: give up. I don't care what you have to do
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: to keep your dream alive. Keep it alive, keep pursuing it,
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: keep believing, keep having hope, keep praying, keep pushing. Do
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: you know what push stands for? Push is an acronym.
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: Push actually means pray until something happens. I don't care
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: if you don't know what it is. You got to
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: keep pushing. Just keep praying it, keep praying until something happens.
- 1:25:24Speaker 7: There are so many ways not to give up. Just endure,
- 1:25:29Speaker 7: because I'm telling you, man, giving up is.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Not the answer for you.
- 1:25:33Speaker 7: It might seem easy, but that easy is so temporary,
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: because once you give up, life gonna get real hard.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: For you, because now you've got to live your life
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: in regret. I would have, should have, could have.
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:25:47Speaker 7: I am not finna live no life like that, and
- 1:25:50Speaker 7: I don't want you to either. All you got to
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: do is just keep getting up and keep having some
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: form of faith. You don't need a lot of faith.
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: The Bible says the faith of a mustard seed, the
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: smallest of all seeds.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: You don't need to have.
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: You don't need to have a big old relationship with God.
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: You need relationship with God. You don't need to have
- 1:26:12Speaker 7: a whole lot of faith. You need to just have
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: the small hope that you can make it. You ever
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: hear people say, keep hope alive, just hope, man, I
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: wish I could get you to understand that are ways
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: to hang on the beggar. You know, you know, I'm
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: to the point in my life where people say hang
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: in there, Steve. I look at him like, well, what
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: else I'm gonna do? Because quitting is just not an option.
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: I've removed quitting off the option. No matter what happens,
- 1:26:43Speaker 7: quitting is not an option. Make that your mantra, and
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: go on and watch God bless you, and keep pushing
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: p USh, pray, until something happens.
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: If that's all you got, that's good enough. Have a
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: great day, y'all. Would see y'all to the mall. Steve
