- 1:33Speaker 3: First of all, it's so good to make your acquaintance again,
- 1:36Speaker 3: and just to be here, so it amaans that I've
- 1:38Speaker 3: been consistent here. I got so much great things going on.
- 1:44Speaker 3: You know, if if you have been living under a rock,
- 1:47Speaker 3: I grace the cover.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Of Essence, Nag stop me.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I should have started with that. Come on, now, rushall,
- 1:55Speaker 1: slap yourself.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I saw you on the cover. Now see I'm a
- 1:58Speaker 1: little bit older than you. Okay, Now we talked Piky Cole.
- 2:01Speaker 1: She was on cover Essen Jap. Now that is something
- 2:03Speaker 1: you started an interview with now, Because I grew up,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I grew up in the Jet magazine and the Ebony era.
- 2:09Speaker 1: You know when you was on the cover of Ebony Jet,
- 2:12Speaker 1: you know you that was like and see and I'd
- 2:14Speaker 1: like to believe that Essence is that magazine level that
- 2:18Speaker 1: I grew up the Jet magazine and the Ebony magazine
- 2:21Speaker 1: and so so when you got on the cover of
- 2:23Speaker 1: Eboney and Jet, family, friend, enemy a girlfriendhod, everybody wanted
- 2:29Speaker 1: to be next to you. Now tell me what, tell
- 2:33Speaker 1: me how it came about, and tell me the experience
- 2:35Speaker 1: and what did it do to your brand? Piky Cole
- 2:38Speaker 1: being on the cover of Essence magazine, the number one
- 2:40Speaker 1: African American female magazine in the world.
- 2:44Speaker 3: So John, I manifested it like I always said that
- 2:47Speaker 3: I'm gonna be able to cover, Like, how are you
- 2:49Speaker 3: gonna do that? You ain't no celebrity. I said, I
- 2:52Speaker 3: am going to be on the cover. And I knew
- 2:54Speaker 3: it in my spirit because I kept saying it, and
- 2:56Speaker 3: you know, oftentimes when you say those things, those things
- 3:00Speaker 3: become real. So every opportunity that I got when I
- 3:03Speaker 3: got around the Essence folks, I talked about it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I got on their nerves about it. Hey, I'm going
- 3:07Speaker 2: to be on Essence. When is my day?
- 3:09Speaker 3: So I finally got the opportunity to talk to the
- 3:11Speaker 3: CEO of Ritchie Lu Dennis, and I told him the
- 3:14Speaker 3: idea that I wanted to do. I said, listen, I said,
- 3:17Speaker 3: y'all always have celebrities on the cover. Now is the
- 3:19Speaker 3: time to put entrepreneurs on the cover who are disrupting
- 3:23Speaker 3: the industries that they're in, so you can show a
- 3:25Speaker 3: different light of people who are making it and moving
- 3:28Speaker 3: and shaking love. The idea didn't happen when I wanted
- 3:32Speaker 3: it to happen, but it happened exactly when it was
- 3:33Speaker 3: supposed to. And I'm so excited about that opportunity because
- 3:37Speaker 3: Essence really shifted my brand to a new level, right
- 3:42Speaker 3: like it exposed me to people who have never heard
- 3:44Speaker 3: of Sludy Began before.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And even if you didn't want to know about Study.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Begon, you learned about Pinky col you learned about some
- 3:50Speaker 3: entrepreneurs in Atlanta that are moving and shaking, that are
- 3:53Speaker 3: the millionaires next door, and it really raised the stock up.
- 3:56Speaker 3: You know what they say, yesterday's prices not todays right,
- 4:01Speaker 3: don't raise the sock. And I'm just so happy at
- 4:04Speaker 3: all of the opportunities and doors that have been opened
- 4:07Speaker 3: because of essence, and you know, that was a life
- 4:10Speaker 3: changing opportunity and I'm just so grateful to be able
- 4:13Speaker 3: to have been a part of that.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Well, first of all, it was life changing, but it
- 4:16Speaker 1: also was a fan because I'm a fan and you
- 4:18Speaker 1: have a lot of fans, and so because you know
- 4:21Speaker 1: you are are like I said, you know, you come
- 4:23Speaker 1: like regular You regular folks, and when regular folks become successful,
- 4:28Speaker 1: as dreamers, we see as being possible. And I think
- 4:31Speaker 1: that that's that has always been your guide, That has
- 4:36Speaker 1: always been the plan to let regular people, every day
- 4:38Speaker 1: people know that through hard work, faith and proper planning,
- 4:42Speaker 1: you can win too.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Talk about that, listen.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I've always been a dreamer and I've always been a believer.
- 4:49Speaker 3: When people see me, they see hope, and just like
- 4:52Speaker 3: you said, they see the possibility that all things can
- 4:54Speaker 3: happen if you really have confidence in yourself and you
- 4:58Speaker 3: really have that level of drive and that drive you
- 5:00Speaker 3: can't pay for that, right like that's born in you,
- 5:03Speaker 3: within you, like you developed that with experience and with time.
- 5:07Speaker 2: So when people see me, I'm not just doing this
- 5:09Speaker 2: for myself. I'm doing this for my family.
- 5:12Speaker 3: I'm doing this for the people who want to be
- 5:14Speaker 3: entrepreneurs like me, who want to have restaurants like me.
- 5:17Speaker 3: And I'm showing you that that, yes, nothing is impossible.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You can literally meet a girl from around the way.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I'm from East Baltimore, got lots in my head. I
- 5:25Speaker 3: don't look like the typical person that you see on
- 5:27Speaker 3: National TV. But guess what, I'm shifting the atmosphere and
- 5:31Speaker 3: showing you that you can look like, be like, talk
- 5:33Speaker 3: like whatever you want to be like, and you can
- 5:36Speaker 3: still make it as long as you have comfort and knowing.
- 5:39Speaker 2: That you can do all the things that you put
- 5:41Speaker 2: your mind to. And that's just how I am.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Look, I woke up, I got on a T shirt
- 5:45Speaker 3: and some sweatpants, and I'm doing an interview with you,
- 5:47Speaker 3: And I got big interviews all day, and I'm showing
- 5:49Speaker 3: people that you ain't got.
- 5:50Speaker 2: To fit the status quo. You can do everything that
- 5:53Speaker 2: you want.
- 5:53Speaker 3: To do as long as you be yourself, your true
- 5:56Speaker 3: authentic self, and being your true authentic self will get
- 5:59Speaker 3: you a long way.
- 6:00Speaker 1: This is a great year. Twenty twenty two has been
- 6:02Speaker 1: a great year. Like I said, it's been clearly two years. Okay,
- 6:05Speaker 1: cover essence. You know you did the graduation speech at
- 6:11Speaker 1: Clark Atland University. Talk about the whole process of gifting
- 6:15Speaker 1: those LLCs, so people from an entrepreneur understand exactly what
- 6:19Speaker 1: you did because you know, you just on the outside,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you really don't know. But it's like putting young people
- 6:24Speaker 1: in a position to understand how to be business owners.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Well, you know, first of all, doing Clarktland University's commencement
- 6:33Speaker 3: was a dream come true.
- 6:34Speaker 2: So many dream coming truths this year. Right.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I went to Clarktland University. I graduated thirteen years ago.
- 6:41Speaker 3: And when I got the opportunity to be the commencement speaker,
- 6:44Speaker 3: and I'm like, I have to do something that's going
- 6:46Speaker 3: to resident. See.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I gotta stop you something because you just blow pass,
- 6:50Speaker 1: like like we blue past that essence covering what is
- 6:53Speaker 1: the backstore? See, I gotta get backstory on you because
- 6:56Speaker 1: you got so much going on. Your backstore is as
- 6:59Speaker 1: great as the actually accomplishment. Talk about the backstory of
- 7:02Speaker 1: them calling you and then you really realize it's happening,
- 7:06Speaker 1: because that's the ultimate to graduate from a school and
- 7:09Speaker 1: then come back and do the commitment speed they give
- 7:11Speaker 1: a pahd to give honors and all that good stuff.
- 7:15Speaker 3: You know. It's interesting because I actually was invited to
- 7:18Speaker 3: do Morse Brown's commencement as well. So I was slated
- 7:21Speaker 3: to do Morris Brown and Clark Atlanta University. Fortunately, but
- 7:25Speaker 3: unfortunately I was only able to do one. So obviously
- 7:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna pick my alma mater. But shout out to
- 7:30Speaker 3: Morris Brown, they just got their accreditation. Shout out to
- 7:34Speaker 3: doctor James. That was just an amazing to be able
- 7:37Speaker 3: to have options, right, Like not many people can say
- 7:40Speaker 3: that they got options.
- 7:40Speaker 1: They got to choose what.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Commission they want to do for historic institutions.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Historic to be able to have to make hard choices
- 7:48Speaker 3: like that, I'm like, okay, I'm on the right path.
- 7:50Speaker 3: So when I got the opportunity to do SAU, it
- 7:53Speaker 3: was a no brainer. Like, I love my institution. I'm
- 7:55Speaker 3: always putting on for my school. I'm always telling people
- 7:58Speaker 3: about why you need to go CAU and why people
- 8:01Speaker 3: need to support historically black colleges and universities.
- 8:04Speaker 2: And as a thirty four year old woman who has.
- 8:07Speaker 3: A mass so much success in a short amount of time,
- 8:10Speaker 3: we all believe that I can really speak to the
- 8:13Speaker 3: students in a way that a seventy five eighty five
- 8:16Speaker 3: year old couldn't rhen it comes to commencement speeches and
- 8:19Speaker 3: no shade or disrespect to the people who come and
- 8:23Speaker 3: have the wisdom. But I feel like I could offer
- 8:25Speaker 3: a different level of wisdom for those students. And it
- 8:28Speaker 3: was eight hundred and twenty four of those students, and
- 8:30Speaker 3: I said, you know what, I need to figure.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Out a way to be able to show.
- 8:34Speaker 3: These children that you can literally take something so small
- 8:40Speaker 3: and walking to this journey and do all the things
- 8:42Speaker 3: that you want to do.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And that was with LLC. So how I came up
- 8:45Speaker 2: with the idea.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I'm like, I want to put these people on a
- 8:48Speaker 3: path to entrepreneurship right when you graduate from college. Oftentimes
- 8:53Speaker 3: many of us do not have a plan. I did
- 8:56Speaker 3: not have a plan at all. And because I didn't
- 8:58Speaker 3: have a plan, I had to go through some hiccups
- 9:00Speaker 3: along the way, go through some speed bumps. But I'm
- 9:02Speaker 3: so happy that I had to go through those things
- 9:04Speaker 3: because then I became an expert. And as an expert,
- 9:07Speaker 3: I was talking directly to these students and telling them, listen,
- 9:10Speaker 3: you're going to fail, but failing ain't failing at all.
- 9:13Speaker 2: It is fine.
- 9:14Speaker 3: And aspiration and the losses and I'm going to help
- 9:17Speaker 3: you find success and all the things that you want
- 9:19Speaker 3: to do, but I'm gonna set you up on a
- 9:21Speaker 3: path to entrepreneurship. Whether you want to be an entrepreneur
- 9:24Speaker 3: or not, but this is an opportunity for you to
- 9:27Speaker 3: really jump start your legacy, build generational wealth, even if
- 9:31Speaker 3: you want to work a nine to five. And I'm
- 9:34Speaker 3: excited about the response that it got because what it
- 9:37Speaker 3: showed is is no, I'm not paying all of your tuition.
- 9:40Speaker 3: But what I'm going to do is I'm going to
- 9:42Speaker 3: put you in position that if you have something that
- 9:45Speaker 3: you've been thinking about, if you have something that's been
- 9:47Speaker 3: making your belly leap, now is the opportunity.
- 9:50Speaker 2: To move on it. Because I literally gave you the
- 9:53Speaker 2: baton to say, hey, here you go, go run.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I'm paying for it and I'm hoping hopefully they get
- 9:58Speaker 3: to pay it forward too.
- 10:00Speaker 2: That felt really, really good.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Please don't go anywhere. We'll be right back with more
- 10:05Speaker 4: Money Making Conversations Masterclass. Welcome back to the Money Making
- 10:12Speaker 4: Conversations master Class hosted by Rashaan McDonald.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You know and that journey of figuring yourself out because
- 10:19Speaker 1: you became a vegan in twenty fourteen. What made that
- 10:22Speaker 1: transition to say I can become an entrepreneur too based
- 10:25Speaker 1: on whatever my lifestyle.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Well, you know, I grew.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Up in a vegetarian household, So the transition wasn't as
- 10:32Speaker 3: hard as a lot of people think because I grew
- 10:35Speaker 3: up in a world where we eat an eye to food,
- 10:37Speaker 3: rice and peas every day. Like I didn't grow up
- 10:39Speaker 3: eating cheeseburgers and fries. Like I didn't grow up going
- 10:43Speaker 3: to McDonald's.
- 10:43Speaker 2: That was a treatment.
- 10:44Speaker 1: That's where you got that pretty skin, the pinky stay
- 10:47Speaker 1: away from the fries and all that stuff.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't grow up eating I didn't even grow
- 10:51Speaker 3: up eating candy. But you know, I attributed to my
- 10:54Speaker 3: mother because she's a Rastafarian. So I grew up with
- 10:57Speaker 3: a very natural mom who didn't wear makeup, she she
- 11:00Speaker 3: didn't shave.
- 11:00Speaker 2: She was very natural eating, like, very holistic.
- 11:04Speaker 3: So in two thousand and seven, actually I stopped eating
- 11:07Speaker 3: meat all together, so I was just eating fish and
- 11:09Speaker 3: then in twenty fourteen, I decided to go vegan. And
- 11:12Speaker 3: I know the difference because my first restaurant was called
- 11:15Speaker 3: Pinky's Jamaican and American restaurant.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And I sold your chicken. I sold, I sell and
- 11:21Speaker 2: I said all the foods I did not eat, but
- 11:23Speaker 2: I was lying.
- 11:24Speaker 3: To the people telling them that it tastes good, like, hey,
- 11:25Speaker 3: you should try this, this is good.
- 11:26Speaker 2: But I didn't eat that.
- 11:27Speaker 3: So when I realized with something that I would never
- 11:30Speaker 3: do again, I was not in alignment with my purpose,
- 11:33Speaker 3: I wasn't being honest, and my business didn't succeed because
- 11:36Speaker 3: of that, and I had a grease fire and I
- 11:39Speaker 3: lost everything.
- 11:40Speaker 2: And when I got it back, I got.
- 11:42Speaker 3: It back through Sludy Vegan because I was literally walking
- 11:45Speaker 3: in my purpose and walking in my assignment. I am
- 11:47Speaker 3: fully vegan. I like to give my vegan my friends
- 11:51Speaker 3: vegan food. I like to have them try to see
- 11:53Speaker 3: if they could see the difference. And now I get
- 11:56Speaker 3: to capitalize off my lifestyle by having a business and
- 12:00Speaker 3: using my platform and resources to help people.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Fort to reimagine food.
- 12:04Speaker 3: And that is why my business has been able to
- 12:06Speaker 3: be so successful and work because I'm walking in my path,
- 12:09Speaker 3: I in lying to the people, I'm being.
- 12:11Speaker 2: My authentic self and it just works.
- 12:13Speaker 3: And I'm happy that I get to do what I
- 12:15Speaker 3: love and get paid to do what I love.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Now eat Plants b I T H mouth water and
- 12:20Speaker 1: photographs and easy to follow instruction Eat Plants b I
- 12:24Speaker 1: T eight celebrate Cole's belief that it's fun and as
- 12:27Speaker 1: sensible of cooking and your irresistible vegan comfort food from
- 12:31Speaker 1: offer Collar egg rolls, which sounds amazing to her Black
- 12:35Speaker 1: peak coliflower, coliflower pull, boar, pull boar. It says ninety one.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Why ninety one is that they just counting ainty one
- 12:43Speaker 1: that you know, because you always have a method to
- 12:44Speaker 1: your madness. It's ninety one in particular as a particular number.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Why you said ninety one? It was just ninety one recipes.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Ninety one was just a sweet spot. He had kinds
- 12:53Speaker 3: of recipes. But I'm the person that I want the
- 12:56Speaker 3: best of the best, and it was about quality not
- 13:00Speaker 3: so yeah, we had.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Some more recipes. Ninety one was just a number. It
- 13:04Speaker 2: just really just like it was just a really good
- 13:06Speaker 2: sweet spot for like the best recipes. I wanted the best.
- 13:10Speaker 3: And this cookbook specifically is not just for the vegan.
- 13:13Speaker 3: It's for the person who likes to eat meat. There
- 13:15Speaker 3: you go, this is the person that just liked really
- 13:20Speaker 3: really good food. So I wanted to make sure that
- 13:21Speaker 3: all the recipes that were in the book were good recipes,
- 13:25Speaker 3: whether you were vegan or not. You know, oftentimes we
- 13:27Speaker 3: have a misconception that if it's vegan, it don't taste good,
- 13:30Speaker 3: it's playing the slaver. Ain't good Like, I wanted to
- 13:32Speaker 3: eliminate all of that and just make a really good
- 13:35Speaker 3: cookbook that serves really good food. And as long as
- 13:38Speaker 3: you can read and you can follow directions, you can
- 13:40Speaker 3: really make these really, really good recipes.
- 13:42Speaker 1: The thing about it is that so many people champion you,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and I think that I just love you as a person.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I love you as an entrepreneur. You're so spirited. Where
- 13:52Speaker 1: is that coming from? You mentioned your mom, But it
- 13:55Speaker 1: also has to be your surrounding people around you who
- 13:58Speaker 1: are also believe in you.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Correct.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I think it's partially that I've always had this and
- 14:05Speaker 3: it may sound weird, but.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I believe in good karma. I believe when you show
- 14:11Speaker 2: up in the world as a good person, the world
- 14:14Speaker 2: is going to.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Come back and be good to you. And I live
- 14:16Speaker 3: my life very honest. I don't lie, I don't still,
- 14:19Speaker 3: I don't cheat. When I lay my head down at night,
- 14:22Speaker 3: my conscience is clear because I'm very fair across the board,
- 14:25Speaker 3: and I do right by people, and I give back
- 14:28Speaker 3: and I pay it forward. And because I do those things, one,
- 14:32Speaker 3: my blessings just keep unfolding for me. And two, I
- 14:35Speaker 3: know that the universe sees me and God is blessing
- 14:37Speaker 3: me because of how I live my life and how
- 14:40Speaker 3: I'm a model that you can be a good person
- 14:42Speaker 3: and you can still get all the things that you
- 14:44Speaker 3: want and you ain't got to be mischievous.
- 14:46Speaker 2: You don't have to do any of that.
- 14:48Speaker 3: So I realized at a very young age that I
- 14:50Speaker 3: had a gift, and I didn't quite know what that
- 14:53Speaker 3: gift was, but I.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Knew that I wanted to make an impact in the world.
- 14:56Speaker 3: As a kid watching Golden Girls with my grandmother and.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, like being really in the.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Trenches with some old folks, and I realized that I
- 15:05Speaker 3: knew that there was something special about me that I
- 15:07Speaker 3: could give to the world. And I just literally lived
- 15:09Speaker 3: my life like that all of the time. Am I perfect?
- 15:12Speaker 3: Absolutely mine? I ain't gonna sit here and say I am.
- 15:14Speaker 3: I'm not the perfect CEO. Sometimes I might not be
- 15:17Speaker 3: the perfect spouse. I might not even be the perfect
- 15:20Speaker 3: mother sometimes, but I do the very best that I can,
- 15:22Speaker 3: and I realize that when you show up as a good,
- 15:25Speaker 3: wholehearted person, the universe will reward you and you will
- 15:29Speaker 3: get all the things that you pray about every single day.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, I'm ask you just quoting Pete
- 15:33Speaker 1: am I looking at the modern day Oprah Winford.
- 15:37Speaker 2: You know what's so funny?
- 15:39Speaker 3: A lot of people which is a very big compliment,
- 15:44Speaker 3: almost too big for me.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I'm trying to catch up, but a lot.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Of people say that you know, and I'm like, it's
- 15:48Speaker 3: such an honor to even be associated with somebody of
- 15:52Speaker 3: that caliber. That to me feels great, and that tells
- 15:55Speaker 3: me that one s Okay, Pinky, you got a big
- 15:58Speaker 3: responsibility here because there's a lot the little girls and
- 16:01Speaker 3: little boys looking up to you. So everything that I do,
- 16:03Speaker 3: I have to make sure that not only am I
- 16:05Speaker 3: responsible for myself, I'm also responsible for how I show
- 16:09Speaker 3: up because there's so many people watching me. So I
- 16:11Speaker 3: will take that compliment as often as you want to
- 16:14Speaker 3: give it, I will take it.
- 16:15Speaker 1: We will take it because I'm just saying, is that
- 16:18Speaker 1: I just see you on television, I just see you
- 16:21Speaker 1: in that medium. And because of the fact the reason
- 16:24Speaker 1: I say that Oprah had something to say, that's why
- 16:26Speaker 1: she was successful, That's why she still is successful. She's articulous,
- 16:29Speaker 1: she was smart. She also graduated over a HBCU, but
- 16:34Speaker 1: also a person who had a background that that that
- 16:37Speaker 1: that was constantly moving forward, constantly moving forward. In fact,
- 16:41Speaker 1: you like to me, you're ahead of Oprah when she
- 16:44Speaker 1: was when she broke out. So you have a resume
- 16:48Speaker 1: of being able to teach. You're teaching people, You're delivering
- 16:50Speaker 1: a message. And I just say that, are you the
- 16:53Speaker 1: modern day version of Oprah because of the fact that
- 16:55Speaker 1: we all have messengers at different levels, and I see
- 16:59Speaker 1: you as a messenger. This is a leap from two thousand,
- 17:03Speaker 1: twenty twenty when we first met, which I knew you
- 17:05Speaker 1: before that, But I see I'm more polished. I see
- 17:07Speaker 1: a much more enlightening lightning you. Usually you feel happier too,
- 17:11Speaker 1: and I saying you weren't happy, then talk to me, girl.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I am in love. I'm happy. I got good people
- 17:17Speaker 2: around me. You know, it's a difference when.
- 17:21Speaker 3: You have a good team, when you got people that
- 17:23Speaker 3: genuinely love you and don't.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Want nothing from me. But want you to succeed and
- 17:26Speaker 2: want you to win.
- 17:28Speaker 3: And I'm very intentional about who I am inviting into
- 17:31Speaker 3: my circle these days. And I'm just living freely. You know,
- 17:36Speaker 3: the last time that I interviewed with you, I was
- 17:38Speaker 3: still in the kitchen. I was flipping burgers, shaking friess,
- 17:42Speaker 3: I was being the janitor, I was being hr I
- 17:44Speaker 3: was doing all those things. And while I was doing well,
- 17:47Speaker 3: I was hustling backwards because I wasn't properly delegating my
- 17:50Speaker 3: business in order for it to grow in the way
- 17:52Speaker 3: that we did to grow. And as soon as I
- 17:54Speaker 3: stepped outside of my business and started delegating and finding
- 17:57Speaker 3: the right talent to help the business grow, I see
- 18:00Speaker 3: the shift in my attitude and and my energy and
- 18:03Speaker 3: also in my business.
- 18:04Speaker 2: So I'm at a really really good place right now.
- 18:06Speaker 1: So before we shift out here, the first book Eat
- 18:09Speaker 1: Plants b I t H. I can't say the word,
- 18:12Speaker 1: but it's right there that the little Astra native went vegan.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Recipes that will blow your meat loving mind. Find This
- 18:18Speaker 1: book is Pinky Coal. It's Simon Schuster, and I'm just
- 18:22Speaker 1: gonna tell y'all fans of hers, that's how you become
- 18:25Speaker 1: number one. I've been fortunate in my life to deliver

- 18:31Speaker 1: you get there if you want are a fan of
- 18:32Speaker 1: Pinky Cold and you want a great book, Like I said,
- 18:35Speaker 1: I like desserts, I like meat, but I'm buying this
- 18:39Speaker 1: book because I like good food and of recipes. We
- 18:41Speaker 1: can't discuss it now, the recipes because you know, give
- 18:44Speaker 1: aay the recipe why you're gonna buy the book. But
- 18:47Speaker 1: what we can do is say, you know a history,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you know honesty. Her book is worth buying because I'm
- 18:52Speaker 1: gonna buy it. But again, Pinky, you know, two years
- 18:55Speaker 1: was too long, but it's been firm, watching the growth
- 18:58Speaker 1: and watching the journey.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Thank you so much again to have me. And I
- 19:01Speaker 2: cannot wait till you come to say week.

- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm committed. In fact, I went to the one I
- 19:10Speaker 1: went to the one over off of I think the.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Loot Oh yeah experience.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I see your boyer about that location because he
- 19:22Speaker 1: in bitness. See I'm snuck in behind him. Yeah excellent,
- 19:26Speaker 1: I see. But I said, when I again, I'm like you,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I try to be authentic. I don't try to just
- 19:31Speaker 1: talk to people when I and and just say nice things.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I've experienced your brand. I love what you're doing and
