- 1:26Speaker 1: Hi this ra Sean McDonald. No, It's It's great when
- 1:29Speaker 1: you can just tell people your name and then they go, okay, cool,
- 1:33Speaker 1: you mean something. You're doing something different in life, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: I feel like I am doing something different in life.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I've learned this about changes about growth. A year ago,
- 1:42Speaker 1: when I was doing this show, I was trying to
- 1:44Speaker 1: find myself. Two years ago, I was I had no
- 1:46Speaker 1: voice I had I didn't know why I was talking
- 1:48Speaker 1: to people. I didn't even know what the show was about.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Every day, I'm starting to discover the difference that this
- 1:53Speaker 1: show is making the people to people's people's lives, and
- 1:57Speaker 1: also how people are trying to get on the show.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Every day, I'm starting to get contacted by the various
- 2:02Speaker 1: people talking about can I get on your show? This
- 2:04Speaker 1: is why I should be on your show. And that's
- 2:06Speaker 1: important to know that I'm developing a brand that other
- 2:08Speaker 1: people want to be a part of, and I'm developing
- 2:11Speaker 1: a brand that is resonating with people because they feel
- 2:14Speaker 1: that I'm making a difference and not only in their lives,
- 2:17Speaker 1: but the people around them. On each money making conversation
- 2:20Speaker 1: radio talk show, I will tell everybody's about entrepreneurship and entertainment.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I provide the consumer and business owner access to celebrities, CEOs, entrepreneurs,
- 2:28Speaker 1: and INDUS industry decision makers. They turn to deliver information
- 2:32Speaker 1: about career planning, motivation, financial literacy, and how they lead
- 2:35Speaker 1: a balanced life. That's really important about living a balanced life.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Is really important about doing the things that you want
- 2:41Speaker 1: to do in your life. It's really important about waking
- 2:43Speaker 1: up and having the reason to wake up, because I
- 2:45Speaker 1: can promise you the average person is waking up because
- 2:48Speaker 1: they're just waking up. I actually wake up and I
- 2:50Speaker 1: know why I'm getting up. Do you really know why
- 2:52Speaker 1: you're getting out of bed? I do? I do every
- 2:55Speaker 1: day I wouldn't get out of bed. Those days that
- 2:57Speaker 1: I don't know they are day. They got about four
- 2:59Speaker 1: days a year. I don't know why I'm getting up.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Those are the worst days of my life. I just
- 3:03Speaker 1: laying bed, I get up and that go. I don't
- 3:05Speaker 1: even function correctly. So I have to have a plan
- 3:08Speaker 1: when I go to sleep. I don't know about you people.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I don't know about the every day purpose. I don't
- 3:11Speaker 1: know about the average person. But Ri Shan mcdald go
- 3:13Speaker 1: to sleep with a plan. Hey man, you you you
- 3:17Speaker 1: you weighing out your brain for you go to sleep.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't care what you say. All I know is
- 3:21Speaker 1: that I'm in shape because I got a man on
- 3:23Speaker 1: the phone. Every time about looking in the mirror, I
- 3:26Speaker 1: think about his name, Lord, I think about this brother here,
- 3:29Speaker 1: what he and done him and more. It's just not
- 3:30Speaker 1: done to my life. Made me viable, viable in the
- 3:34Speaker 1: good looking community. If you want to get in shape,
- 3:37Speaker 1: out the person on the phone for you his book
- 3:39Speaker 1: The Cut lose up to ten pounds and ten days
- 3:41Speaker 1: to sculpture your best body. Yeah. He is on the
- 3:45Speaker 1: phone to talk about New Year Resolution Challenge. The New
- 3:48Speaker 1: Year Resolution Challenge that he's doing with my man Morris Chestnut,
- 3:51Speaker 1: who has a new television show coming out. I'm now
- 3:54Speaker 1: I don't look like Morris. I'm not shaped like more,
- 3:57Speaker 1: but I look like Roshan McDonald. Please welcome to the show,
- 4:01Speaker 1: Obie Opa Decay. Yeah, I was doing all this job.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Thank you for having men. You know, you always up.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Every time I talk to you feel extra motive and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm already I'm always a positive person. Man. When they
- 4:12Speaker 1: time I talk to you, I feel like jumping on
- 4:14Speaker 1: top of the biggest mountain you have to you know.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And it's and it's getting like that every day with me, Obie.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You know, I was interviewing this guy and he said,
- 4:24Speaker 1: why she comes? Everybody won't go. You really want to
- 4:26Speaker 1: come to work because you get to work with Rashard McDonald.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Everybody in the room with the interview, my staff think
- 4:31Speaker 1: gotta go. Watch said, because I want you to live
- 4:33Speaker 1: the best luck. I want. I want you to live
- 4:35Speaker 1: the best life you can possibly live. And my role
- 4:37Speaker 1: in life is to give you that opportunity. That guy
- 4:40Speaker 1: just dad and can't look for you, because that's the truth.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's the truth. And when I have people like you
- 4:45Speaker 1: on the phone that are changing lives. See what people
- 4:47Speaker 1: don't understand about when I get when I speak to
- 4:49Speaker 1: Obie and I speak to Marris and they got this
- 4:51Speaker 1: New year resolution with the Way Challenger. It's it's about
- 4:56Speaker 1: it's about changing your lives, your life in a in
- 4:59Speaker 1: a perspective, being to getting it organized. And that's what
- 5:02Speaker 1: I tell you every time I call you, how much
- 5:04Speaker 1: you've changed my life. When I see him in person,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I remind him how much he's changed my life. Because
- 5:09Speaker 1: sometimes if you if you don't tell people that, they
- 5:13Speaker 1: might think I was just playing around, you know, joking. No,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm not joking. You know. I was doing a radio
- 5:19Speaker 1: show and I was just doing the interview. Their book
- 5:22Speaker 1: to Cut came into my life. I read it because
- 5:25Speaker 1: it was my assignment to read books, to be able
- 5:28Speaker 1: to make sure you understand what I was interviewing. And
- 5:31Speaker 1: guess what I got smart this time. I applied the
- 5:35Speaker 1: information in that book to my personal life. I lost
- 5:38Speaker 1: nine pounds in ten days and too much. I lost
- 5:41Speaker 1: sixteen pounds have not gained it back because he changed
- 5:47Speaker 1: my life. I'm saying, he being Obie now Morris, I
- 5:51Speaker 1: I got him, but I talked to Obie all the time.
- 5:53Speaker 1: So I'm getting Obi the most credit here because I
- 5:56Speaker 1: talked to him. I don't have any bad days when
- 5:59Speaker 1: I talked to him because he's always inspired me to greatness.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Now you've got this new this this this challenge here?
- 6:05Speaker 1: How did this come about? How the challenge came about?
- 6:08Speaker 1: We had so many women emailing us about how can
- 6:11Speaker 1: I get in better shape at home? How can I
- 6:15Speaker 1: These are my problem areas. These are the areas where
- 6:18Speaker 1: I gained weight, and a lot of for women, the
- 6:20Speaker 1: biggest problem area where they gained weight is the tricept,
- 6:23Speaker 1: the back of the arm, the butt, and the thigh.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So we were overwhelmed with so many emails from women
- 6:30Speaker 1: on how to get in better shape at home because, uh,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you know, che is beyond a lot of people are
- 6:34Speaker 1: intimidated by going into the gym, you know what I mean. Um,
- 6:37Speaker 1: And so if you can create an environment where someone
- 6:41Speaker 1: is comfortable, they relaxed, Um, they're not intimidated, then uh,
- 6:46Speaker 1: they have the motivation to actually exercise and do what's needed.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And so with those emails that that motivate us to
- 6:54Speaker 1: let's do a New Year's resolution challenge. You know, let's
- 6:56Speaker 1: start this off, and we want this thing to being
- 6:59Speaker 1: in every year thing, regardless of how well it does.
- 7:03Speaker 1: This is just us opportunity to to really really give back,
- 7:06Speaker 1: even if it doesn't do you know, crazy numbers and stuff.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It's really about Typically the first three months of the
- 7:11Speaker 1: year is really when people are trying to make a change,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and we want to capitalize on those individuals. Say look,
- 7:16Speaker 1: we've got a program that will help you. And you
- 7:18Speaker 1: can't say, well, I can't do that because you are
- 7:20Speaker 1: no no, no, no, no, no, no no. We got modifications,
- 7:23Speaker 1: precicides you can't do. So there's no excuse whatsoever. You
- 7:27Speaker 1: can't do a body squad go all the way, then
- 7:29Speaker 1: you do a half squad. I know you can ben
- 7:31Speaker 1: a little bit, you can bend a half away, you
- 7:34Speaker 1: know what I mean. And so just still working out
- 7:36Speaker 1: and so um it's this New Year's Resolution sixty day challenge.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You got motivational videos, home exercise videos, body type diet plans.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Morris is motivating you every day as well as myself.
- 7:49Speaker 1: We have amazing uh female fitness instructors that are background
- 7:53Speaker 1: talent that help also as well with the program. It's
- 7:57Speaker 1: a really great program because it's only some what you
- 8:00Speaker 1: can learn from a book seeing some still photos of
- 8:03Speaker 1: Morris and I and the black and white photos in
- 8:04Speaker 1: the book, right, and now you got videos, you know,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and we we live in a visually stimulated society, let's
- 8:09Speaker 1: be honest, you know. Yeah, wow, And you know the
- 8:14Speaker 1: think of the thing about is that. Let me ask
- 8:16Speaker 1: you this when I when I talk about what is
- 8:18Speaker 1: what is the promotional campaign that you guys are putting together?
- 8:21Speaker 1: Because I'm just like I like to I like to
- 8:24Speaker 1: believe I'm launching the campaign, so I know there's there
- 8:27Speaker 1: there's an opportunity to out there in the media. What's
- 8:29Speaker 1: the what's the schedule of getting the word out about
- 8:31Speaker 1: this campaign? Right? What majority of the marketing we're gonna
- 8:35Speaker 1: be doing will be next month? Um? You know we
- 8:37Speaker 1: we are scheduled for CNN Headline News next weekend in Atlanta.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And then um uh, I don't believe We're doing Kelly
- 8:46Speaker 1: and and Ryan Show February thirteen, more doing that to
- 8:51Speaker 1: promote the show as well as a challenge, and then
- 8:55Speaker 1: um shooting Rachel Ray tentatively February fourteen, which were their
- 8:59Speaker 1: February twenty x and then when Morris is promoting his
- 9:02Speaker 1: TV show Live with all these live daytime talk shows
- 9:05Speaker 1: on the twenty fifth of February, which is when the
- 9:07Speaker 1: show airs The Enemy Within on NBC. I'm gonna promote
- 9:10Speaker 1: because that's my boy. Uh. He will also be be
- 9:14Speaker 1: plugging in the Challenge show. Uh. I'm just grateful that
- 9:17Speaker 1: I got a partner that that is all in and
- 9:20Speaker 1: he's willing to basically use the vehicle of the show
- 9:23Speaker 1: to to promote what we're trying to do, because really
- 9:25Speaker 1: it's we're trying to help people. This is we're talking
- 9:28Speaker 1: about health and wellness. We're talking about helping you become better,
- 9:31Speaker 1: you know, be be better physically, because when you're better physically,
- 9:35Speaker 1: when you're better mentally, you're gonna be better physically. They
- 9:38Speaker 1: all it's like this whole mind and body connection. It
- 9:40Speaker 1: it all is all related to one another, you know,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and that's important. Now you mentioned something about people being
- 9:46Speaker 1: afraid of the gym. Um, why is that? I think
- 9:51Speaker 1: it's because, Um, it's intimidating walking around with somebody that
- 9:57Speaker 1: looks better than you. That's it. When someone is so
- 10:02Speaker 1: super fit, um muscular, it starts, it starts to you
- 10:08Speaker 1: get this weird reflection upon yourself or man, I'm not
- 10:11Speaker 1: even I don't even belong here. You know why why
- 10:14Speaker 1: should we have to feel we don't belong somewhere because
- 10:17Speaker 1: someone looks better than you physically, it is in better shape.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So you know, you can create an environment where someone
- 10:24Speaker 1: can get in shape and they can watch videos and
- 10:27Speaker 1: they're in the comfort of our own home. They're not
- 10:28Speaker 1: trying to compare themselves to other people because be honest,
- 10:31Speaker 1: you go to the gym, you're gonna start in paying
- 10:33Speaker 1: of it. What am I doing here? You know? Now
- 10:35Speaker 1: we've got social media where people do it on social media,
- 10:39Speaker 1: so it's like, you know what you don't have, You
- 10:41Speaker 1: have me and Morris encouraging you to to you know,
- 10:45Speaker 1: go get through each exercise. We're talking you through. We
- 10:48Speaker 1: have nobody around you. You're inside your home. You can
- 10:51Speaker 1: even do with your husband or your kids. You know
- 10:54Speaker 1: what we talk about. Thirty minutes minutes you're done, and
- 10:58Speaker 1: you gotta diet, diet plan to follow along with your
- 11:01Speaker 1: body types, you know. So it's it's really um, I
- 11:04Speaker 1: love it. You know. I don't like to compare to
- 11:06Speaker 1: pen Need insanity because that's a little bit too crazy.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So it's a little bit down level. You know, I
- 11:13Speaker 1: tell you right now, I'm not even gonna think about
- 11:16Speaker 1: that process. You know, this this program here man, because
- 11:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something. You know, when you when
- 11:21Speaker 1: you look at a person like me, I'm a little lazy,
- 11:24Speaker 1: I'm a little lazy, and so I have to be
- 11:26Speaker 1: motivated to do something I think I feel fitting to
- 11:29Speaker 1: my lazy plan. I'm gonna your others with you. You know,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go out there and then, you know,
- 11:34Speaker 1: do these massive amount of way to do something for
- 11:36Speaker 1: an hour or spread up a hill, or or do
- 11:40Speaker 1: a hundred and twenties ship ups. I'm I'm not doing it.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. But I want to do a
- 11:45Speaker 1: program that accommodates who I am as a person. And
- 11:48Speaker 1: that's what this program accommodations, ro Sean McDonald. It would
- 11:51Speaker 1: accommodate you, and it accommodates to everyday person. When I
- 11:55Speaker 1: look at those other programs out there, when they sliding
- 11:57Speaker 1: across the floor and they sweating, and they got half,
- 11:59Speaker 1: they they got flat. You know you know what Rashaan,
- 12:06Speaker 1: everything that you what you just said, most people on
- 12:09Speaker 1: society go through mentally. I'm a fitness guy, I was
- 12:12Speaker 1: an athlete, a top athlete high school and college. I've
- 12:15Speaker 1: been working out more than half of my life. I
- 12:17Speaker 1: have the same everything that you go through. Mentally, I
- 12:20Speaker 1: go through the same things more than half of the time.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I don't want to work out. I'd rather be in
- 12:25Speaker 1: a conference room, whether Rashan McDonald or someone else striking
- 12:28Speaker 1: a business deal. I get more stimulated out of that.
- 12:31Speaker 1: And I've been doing it for such a long time,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and I try to share that with people like Look,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I go through the same things mentally too. A lot
- 12:38Speaker 1: of times I don't want to go in there, but
- 12:41Speaker 1: I have to do different things to trick myself and
- 12:43Speaker 1: mentally motivate myself. So if a fitness guy like myself,
- 12:47Speaker 1: this is what he does for a living, it's saying
- 12:50Speaker 1: I do the same things too. I'm no different than
- 12:52Speaker 1: you mentally. But it's the motivation, That's what it's about.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It's the motivation. Well, motivate us to tell us and
- 12:58Speaker 1: tell us where we gotta go so we can, you know,
- 13:01Speaker 1: start our year off right. Not only start our year right,
- 13:04Speaker 1: but get our lives right. And I don't tell you
- 13:06Speaker 1: for your life right. It affects your your mate, whether
- 13:08Speaker 1: it's male or female, and affects your children, it affects
- 13:11Speaker 1: your co workers. Because I feel good look in the mirror.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm not faking myself out anymore. How can he feel
- 13:18Speaker 1: like Rishan? How can they look like Rishane? How can
- 13:20Speaker 1: he be with Shane? Tell them how they tell them?
- 13:22Speaker 1: How they can join the challenge. My friend, you go
- 13:25Speaker 1: to New Year's Resolution Challenge dot com and join us
- 13:29Speaker 1: for the challenge. The winner of the challenge the person
- 13:31Speaker 1: who loses the most weight with good opportunity round trip
- 13:34Speaker 1: ticket to California and work out with Morris and I
- 13:37Speaker 1: and hang out with us for a day. So I
- 13:40Speaker 1: know that this program if I trust me, If you
- 13:44Speaker 1: join this challenge, trust me, you will get in great shape.
- 13:47Speaker 1: You will lose weight. Also, you'll have the ability if
- 13:50Speaker 1: you have any questions with throughout the challenge, you have
- 13:52Speaker 1: the ability to uh to check go through our our
- 13:56Speaker 1: check in with me, and I'll be checking you know,
- 13:58Speaker 1: I'll be checking in with you every So it's not
- 14:00Speaker 1: like you have these videos and you don't have access
- 14:02Speaker 1: to me or even Morris once in a while he
- 14:04Speaker 1: might even be jumping in there too. So it's a
- 14:06Speaker 1: sixty day challenge New Year's Resolution Challenge dot com and
- 14:10Speaker 1: I know you guys, will you know? I know you'll
- 14:12Speaker 1: You'll benefit tremendously. And I created a program with the
- 14:15Speaker 1: everyday average person, obviously with an emphasis with females in mind,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but guys can do the program as well too, so
- 14:22Speaker 1: it is a unit sex program. Thank you. Listening makes
