- 0:15Speaker 2: Back.
- 0:15Speaker 4: A million busy.

- 0:26Speaker 5: To Shot Joy. Yah, yeah you Joy, you gotta.
- 0:59Speaker 6: Do that.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Turn you.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Gonna turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Came, I got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn the mouth. Turn out a
- 1:47Speaker 2: wad of the money.
- 1:48Speaker 7: Up looking me.
- 1:55Speaker 8: Come on, come on you, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only. It is Steve Harvey. Yeah, I got
- 2:14Speaker 8: a radio show. Okay, this is a timely for everybody.
- 2:19Speaker 8: I'm sure. I want to offer you all some encouragement
- 2:28Speaker 8: because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. You strike
- 2:35Speaker 8: out on your goals, you strike out on your aspirations, and.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So you strike out, as it happens to all of us.
- 2:45Speaker 9: Here it comes life.
- 2:49Speaker 8: Life just hits one of them bad notes as it
- 2:53Speaker 8: always does, as it always does.
- 2:56Speaker 9: For all of us, for everybody.
- 3:01Speaker 8: Now, when those bad notes happen, when the haters come
- 3:05Speaker 8: out of nowhere, when the setback comes up, when when
- 3:10Speaker 8: the eyut of nowhere appears, when now I didn't see
- 3:13Speaker 8: that coming comes, Here's here's what you have to do.
- 3:19Speaker 8: Here is the thing that I have been teaching myself
- 3:23Speaker 8: for years that I used to not always understand, so
- 3:28Speaker 8: I'm trying to give it to you. You have to
- 3:33Speaker 8: be encouraged anyway. Now that's difficult, Okay, Steve, what you're
- 3:38Speaker 8: talking about? You just told me all this discouraging stuff
- 3:41Speaker 8: that can happen, and you said you got to be
- 3:44Speaker 8: encouraged anyway. Yeah, man, you have to because what's happening
- 3:51Speaker 8: to you right now, the thing that you're going through
- 3:55Speaker 8: right now, the thing that everybody's going through right now.
- 3:58Speaker 9: Ain't nobody on smooth sailing.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Man.
- 4:01Speaker 8: Everybody got something and if they if they don't smooth sailing,
- 4:05Speaker 8: just know this is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody.
- 4:09Speaker 8: It's just that this is life. This is how it
- 4:11Speaker 8: happens everybody, So please stop stop getting on the old
- 4:15Speaker 8: woe is Me bandwagon?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Old Lord? Why met old Lord?
- 4:19Speaker 8: Something always happened to me, something always happens to everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 9: But here's what you got to do. When you get
- 4:28Speaker 9: in moments like this, you got to be encouraged. You
- 4:31Speaker 9: got to.
- 4:31Speaker 8: Remember in those times, in those times when it's going wrong,
- 4:37Speaker 8: you got to remember all that you've been through. You
- 4:42Speaker 8: got to remember all that you've come through. You have
- 4:48Speaker 8: to remember those other times when you felt like this,
- 4:51Speaker 8: and somehow, unexplainably you don't even really stop to say
- 4:56Speaker 8: nothing about it. It just changed for you. And the
- 5:00Speaker 8: problem that was is no more. And the situation that
- 5:04Speaker 8: seems so insurmountable, you got over it. You got around it,
- 5:11Speaker 8: You got over it. Sometimes you just got to slide
- 5:15Speaker 8: right under it. Sometimes you got to plow through it.
- 5:21Speaker 8: But in those times when it's discouraging for you, when
- 5:26Speaker 8: you feel like giving up, those are the test. Those
- 5:31Speaker 8: are the moments that will determine whether we make it
- 5:37Speaker 8: or not. I'll tell you one thing for sure. If
- 5:40Speaker 8: you give up in these moments, right here here is
- 5:43Speaker 8: a for show, You'll never make it. That's unquestionably the deal.
- 5:50Speaker 8: If you give up in these dark times, if you
- 5:54Speaker 8: give up in these what you think is insurmountable moments,
- 5:58Speaker 8: if you turn now here is the one thousand percent
- 6:03Speaker 8: for shore. You ain't gonna make it. But there is
- 6:07Speaker 8: a bright side to this situation. If you keep your
- 6:11Speaker 8: head down, if you keep forging, if you keep pressing on.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Sometimes if you just stand there and sometimes get knocked
- 6:21Speaker 8: to your knees.
- 6:22Speaker 9: But if you stay in that place.
- 6:25Speaker 8: If you just stay there and ride the storm out,
- 6:28Speaker 8: my head is bloodied but unbowed. If you can just
- 6:33Speaker 8: stay there, if you consider in that moment and ride
- 6:41Speaker 8: it out, you will win. You will pass the test,
- 6:47Speaker 8: and you will get to move on to the next level.
- 6:51Speaker 8: But there is no next level without a test. You
- 6:54Speaker 8: can't get to grade six without passing grade five. You
- 6:59Speaker 8: can't be a senior without first being a junior. You
- 7:04Speaker 8: can't graduate without fulfilling the hours and requirements.
- 7:09Speaker 9: You see, I don't care what you do in life.
- 7:11Speaker 9: Look at it. It's all set up on levels.
- 7:15Speaker 8: Well, you've got to accomplish the thing before in order
- 7:19Speaker 8: to get to the next level. And when you've made
- 7:21Speaker 8: those level accomplishments, you get to graduate. Now you can
- 7:25Speaker 8: go on and get a master's and a pH d.
- 7:27Speaker 8: You can go on and become rich. You can go
- 7:29Speaker 8: become wealthy, or you can go or you can go
- 7:32Speaker 8: somewhere and think yourself in another set of circumstances. But
- 7:36Speaker 8: you got to go through something to get to something
- 7:38Speaker 8: that ain't nothing free. So you can stop that notion
- 7:42Speaker 8: about being successful that is easy come on, man, if
- 7:45Speaker 8: it was easy, what we don't what we're talking about.
- 7:50Speaker 8: It is not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult.
- 7:55Speaker 8: But I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 8:00Speaker 8: Know what that is? Try not being successful your whole life.
- 8:04Speaker 8: That's hard. You are listening to a person who has
- 8:09Speaker 8: done them both been successful and really really been not successful.
- 8:17Speaker 8: And I got news for you. Both of them hard.
- 8:21Speaker 8: But I would rather deal with what it is to
- 8:23Speaker 8: be something, to make something out of myself, to force
- 8:27Speaker 8: myself to go to work when I don't feel like it.
- 8:29Speaker 9: This morning was a rough get up for me, but
- 8:32Speaker 9: I got up and I said thank you anyway. Never
- 8:36Speaker 9: give up.
- 8:37Speaker 8: And I don't watch this dude to Heed the mess
- 8:38Speaker 8: around and got close to me because he just never
- 8:41Speaker 8: gave up. Get You can never ever give up. Never,
- 8:46Speaker 8: It's not an option. Giving up cannot be an option
- 8:50Speaker 8: for you. You cannot do that. It's out of the question.
- 8:55Speaker 8: It's inconceivable in your mind to quit, because to quit
- 8:59Speaker 8: is to work.
- 9:00Speaker 9: But what you get when you quit nothing, That is
- 9:04Speaker 9: a reward.
- 9:05Speaker 8: For those who hang in there, who never give up,
- 9:09Speaker 8: who forged through, who see it through, who get knocked
- 9:12Speaker 8: down and get back up. Who gets trample but somehow
- 9:15Speaker 8: gathers themselves and get back to your knees. But stay
- 9:19Speaker 8: in that place, man, don't ever give up. Don't let
- 9:22Speaker 8: go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through, Think
- 9:25Speaker 8: of all you come through, Think of all he's done
- 9:27Speaker 8: for you.
- 9:28Speaker 9: Think of all the.
- 9:29Speaker 8: Times you thought you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow,
- 9:32Speaker 8: without you ever even saying thank you, he got through.
- 9:34Speaker 8: He got you through it. Anyway. That's that thing called grace.
- 9:37Speaker 8: Now we kind of need that in our life. Will
- 9:41Speaker 8: all I need.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Is a little more grace.
- 9:45Speaker 8: You can't give God no money for grace, man. Grace
- 9:47Speaker 8: is absolutely free. It's available to everybody, but you can't
- 9:52Speaker 8: get none if you quit. Don't give up. I'll just
- 9:54Speaker 8: tell you that flat out.
- 9:55Speaker 9: Don't ever give up listening.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Morning show, ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, religious political parties. You're
- 10:10Speaker 8: all welcome to the Steve Harvey Morton Show. Even though
- 10:14Speaker 8: the voice that you're listening to is a bit confusing.
- 10:17Speaker 8: He is not interested in your political views if they
- 10:20Speaker 8: are not the same as his. Thank you very much.
- 10:24Speaker 8: Let's just say that. Get it out the way, ladies

- 11:05Speaker 8: Has smell, the way they next smell, the softness of
- 11:08Speaker 8: their lips, the way they hands run across the back
- 11:11Speaker 8: of your neck. Lord, have mercy. They shape the way
- 11:15Speaker 8: they walk, the way they switch stomachs and bags. You know,
- 11:23Speaker 8: I don't really give a damn about your brain. You know,
- 11:30Speaker 8: I'm just telling you. Don't listen to me.
- 11:34Speaker 1: They have a way, a discernment that men.
- 11:38Speaker 8: Do not have. And if you add that to the
- 11:41Speaker 8: equation of your life, it can only enhance it. Now,
- 11:46Speaker 8: does it come with a few challenges, Yes it does.
- 11:50Speaker 8: But is it worth it?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yes?
- 11:52Speaker 6: It is?
- 11:53Speaker 8: Oftentime, force you to become a better, more thoughtful, caring,
- 11:57Speaker 8: sharing person now.
- 12:00Speaker 9: When they are the right one for you, Lord, talk, come.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Girl, girl, what him it's going on? Anywhere have you been?
- 12:24Speaker 8: Now?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Fellous? You will have that feeling a lot of times
- 12:29Speaker 1: in your life.
- 12:30Speaker 8: Do not confuse that because the initial meeting with her is,
- 12:35Speaker 8: oh my god, where have you been? As you study
- 12:41Speaker 8: and get to know them and find out this is
- 12:43Speaker 8: not the one for you, that quickly.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Turns into wind up your talking.
- 12:56Speaker 8: To cause you to focus on the soch for the
- 13:01Speaker 8: right one. Okay, the right one has oftentimes hidden qualities
- 13:09Speaker 8: and you've got to get past the surface to discover.
- 13:13Speaker 8: But when you get it right and a woman, you
- 13:17Speaker 8: can't out give her, You can't out love her, you
- 13:21Speaker 8: can't out thank her.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for women.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, Happy International Women's Day, Thank you Steve for that.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:37Speaker 4: will hear from the nephew as he runs that prank
- 13:40Speaker 4: back right after this. You're listening morning show, and it's
- 13:45Speaker 4: time now for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:48Speaker 10: What you got for his neph Surely this right here
- 13:50Speaker 10: is a wedding and a funeral. A wedding and a
- 13:55Speaker 10: funeral all at the same time coming down, but the
- 14:00Speaker 10: cask and right down.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You understand when and let's go cat dog if you would?
- 14:07Speaker 11: Hello is Ryan?
- 14:07Speaker 6: Ah right, I'm trying to Ryan, Ryan. How you doing?
- 14:10Speaker 7: Hey, I'm good. I'm thinking this is Josh Josh.
- 14:14Speaker 6: Over at you. I'm want to be officials at the
- 14:15Speaker 6: church where you guys are getting married tomorrow.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, how you doing? Man?
- 14:20Speaker 7: I want to thank y'all for that too, man. We
- 14:22Speaker 7: will appreciate it sure.
- 14:23Speaker 6: Here well, we definitely hope to make you a member
- 14:25Speaker 6: here sooner or later since you guys are getting married.
- 14:27Speaker 7: You know, hey, man, you know I'm trying to get
- 14:30Speaker 7: this work schedule changed up. You know what I'm saying.
- 14:31Speaker 7: They got me working on Sundays now, man, So as
- 14:34Speaker 7: soon as I tweak at a mood at around a little.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Bit, I'll be there.
- 14:37Speaker 6: Okay, listen, we have a bit of a situation that's
- 14:40Speaker 6: come up. We had some problems and uh, miscommunication, and
- 14:44Speaker 6: it's definitely been on the outside. They had your name
- 14:46Speaker 6: Ryan down here with your phone number as well as
- 14:50Speaker 6: you as soon to be wife Sonya. They had her
- 14:52Speaker 6: name here, but we didn't want to call her with this.
- 14:54Speaker 6: We wanted to just reach out and talk to you
- 14:57Speaker 6: and see if we just make you aware of what
- 14:58Speaker 6: was going on, okay, or.
- 15:00Speaker 7: What's what's going on?
- 15:01Speaker 6: Man, there's been a mix up on on scheduling. I
- 15:03Speaker 6: don't know if you know since the older make she
- 15:06Speaker 6: passed away a week ago and you're not you're not
- 15:10Speaker 6: a member of the church, so you wouldn't know her.
- 15:11Speaker 6: But she's one of the one of the oldest members
- 15:13Speaker 6: here at the church. Just the older may passed away.
- 15:16Speaker 6: And what's going on is you all's wedding is tomorrow
- 15:21Speaker 6: at twelve o'clock, right, but the actual funeral is at
- 15:26Speaker 6: three o'clock here at the church.
- 15:28Speaker 7: Okay, uh, Brother Josh, Josh, Okay, look here, brother Josh, hey, man,
- 15:36Speaker 7: we we we already got this thing in motion. Man,
- 15:38Speaker 7: we didn't stand down. They have ned two hundred invitations. Man,
- 15:42Speaker 7: I mean blessed us so old man and.
- 15:44Speaker 6: And and I understand that, but but but I mean,
- 15:47Speaker 6: you know, she's there's no way we could have moved
- 15:49Speaker 6: it around.
- 15:50Speaker 8: Now.
- 15:50Speaker 6: The biggest problemn the funeral home is bringing the casket
- 15:54Speaker 6: first thing in the morning. So what I want what
- 15:56Speaker 6: I wanted to make you aware of, and I didn't
- 15:58Speaker 6: want you to tell your wife just but the actual
- 16:00Speaker 6: casket would be in the Saints aiar, but we will
- 16:03Speaker 6: have it cold.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Hold on, man, are you serious?
- 16:06Speaker 7: I look at him.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Y'all't need to move this round. I don't know what
- 16:09Speaker 3: y'all gonna do.
- 16:10Speaker 7: Y'all have a fellowship all in the back or something
- 16:13Speaker 7: like that.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Ryan. The only place we can actually put the cask in,
- 16:17Speaker 6: and if we didn't put it there is in the
- 16:19Speaker 6: actual room that you'll soon to be wife would be
- 16:21Speaker 6: changing it.
- 16:22Speaker 7: That's the only place, your mile, my wife could have
- 16:26Speaker 7: changed no room when it was dead body.
- 16:28Speaker 6: You kid even what and you know what, I understood that.
- 16:31Speaker 6: That's the first thing I thought of it. I thought,
- 16:32Speaker 6: I said, that's just put the casket the way it
- 16:34Speaker 6: goes for the funeral and we're gonna cover it up
- 16:37Speaker 6: and see basically you actually get.
- 16:39Speaker 7: In Wow, I can't even believe you call it?
- 16:43Speaker 3: What did a man?
- 16:44Speaker 11: Look at it?
- 16:44Speaker 7: And excuse my french man? Yeah, I know I need
- 16:47Speaker 7: to get back into church, I really do.
- 16:48Speaker 3: But right now, Doug, this ain't going down like this. Man.
- 16:51Speaker 7: Now, we didn't already pay the money.
- 16:54Speaker 11: First of all, First of.
- 16:55Speaker 7: All, you know she shouldn't I don't even feel like
- 16:58Speaker 7: she may have to pay, you know, touch the whole
- 17:00Speaker 7: no wedding over at her church where she played times at.
- 17:03Speaker 7: That's that's the first thing.
- 17:04Speaker 3: You know.
- 17:05Speaker 7: I ain't like that from the jumping, but I went
- 17:06Speaker 7: ahead when win it because she want her pastor to
- 17:09Speaker 7: marry us. And now you got the nerve to tell
- 17:11Speaker 7: me that's how we arrange something that a funeral gonna
- 17:14Speaker 7: happen the same day as my wedding, and my wife
- 17:16Speaker 7: got to get dressed in the room with a dead body.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Well, we're not gonna put her in that bro Like
- 17:21Speaker 6: I say, I'm putting that body first thing in the morning.
- 17:23Speaker 6: I'm gonna put that body in the right there in
- 17:26Speaker 6: front of the fullpit, and we're gonna cover it. Now,
- 17:29Speaker 6: what you're getting out of is get more flowers, because
- 17:32Speaker 6: there's gonna be flowers from the funeral. So I'm thinking
- 17:35Speaker 6: that's probably gonna be a little bit of.
- 17:37Speaker 8: A perk for you.
- 17:38Speaker 6: I just wanted you today.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Don't wear it.
- 17:39Speaker 6: It's probably gonna be more people than you think because
- 17:42Speaker 6: some of the people that's gonna be at their wedding,
- 17:44Speaker 6: it's really for the funeral.
- 17:45Speaker 7: A hol hold on man are you serious, right? I mean,
- 17:49Speaker 7: look here, doctor, I then paid for this wedding to
- 17:52Speaker 7: happen at this church, man, okay, And no disrespect to
- 17:56Speaker 7: the lady.
- 17:56Speaker 11: That is past.
- 17:57Speaker 7: God bless her family. I ain't planning to putting no
- 18:00Speaker 7: dead body having no funeral at my wedding.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Man, that's crazy. How much comes down their.
- 18:07Speaker 6: Church too, sir, she's a member of the church too.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Hey, I don't give it.
- 18:10Speaker 7: I don't being no member of the church.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Man. I done paid for this win and it's.
- 18:14Speaker 7: Gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you by fixing and putting no
- 18:17Speaker 7: dead body at my wedding?
- 18:19Speaker 11: So what's right?
- 18:24Speaker 3: Right?
- 18:24Speaker 6: I mean no distance. But the woman has passed. She
- 18:27Speaker 6: is not gonna get up. I mean, what what is it?
- 18:30Speaker 3: Count?
- 18:30Speaker 7: The problem is, yo calls me with this man's day
- 18:33Speaker 7: before my wedding. We didn't schedule when there's six months ago.
- 18:36Speaker 7: I got to finished twenty five thirty thousand dollars on
- 18:38Speaker 7: this wed, okay, and I just gonna tell me that
- 18:40Speaker 7: we got to share our wed with a funeral.
- 18:43Speaker 3: But the hell is wrong with you?
- 18:44Speaker 7: Man?
- 18:45Speaker 6: Do you want to have your wedding at this church?
- 18:48Speaker 7: I paid for them, which you mean wrong? I'm having
- 18:51Speaker 7: a wedding. Okay, I tell you what't lit the body
- 18:53Speaker 7: for in the morning, rolling right up the street planning.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Y'all just stay out there in the front and and
- 18:57Speaker 3: and throw for hours like throwing rice.
- 19:00Speaker 7: But we're gonna have a wedding.
- 19:01Speaker 6: It'side.
- 19:02Speaker 7: This SAME's here tomorrow.
- 19:03Speaker 9: I promise you that, sir.
- 19:04Speaker 4: I can't.
- 19:04Speaker 6: I cannot assure you that it won't be. I have
- 19:07Speaker 6: no other place to put the body.
- 19:09Speaker 7: Okay, well I'll bet i'll find somewhere to put it.
- 19:11Speaker 3: If I get that to mark. It's a body in there.
- 19:13Speaker 3: There's gonna be a couple of bodies in there. I am.
- 19:16Speaker 7: You got two choices to move in funeral or to
- 19:19Speaker 7: remburse me back. There's thirty thousand dollars out of an
- 19:21Speaker 7: hour to spend those only two choices. I want to
- 19:23Speaker 7: hear about it. Meet me at the front door to
- 19:25Speaker 7: night with a thirty thousand dollars cashier check. Or we
- 19:27Speaker 7: said to have this wedding up in there tomorrow morning.
- 19:29Speaker 3: You heard me.

- 21:02Speaker 4: it is our day. It is our day to get
- 21:07Speaker 4: our flowers.
- 21:08Speaker 7: It is.
- 21:09Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Well that's all, Monica.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Yes, of course, of course from the setter is all
- 21:16Speaker 4: coming up at the top of the hour. But right
- 21:18Speaker 4: now it is time to ask the clo.
- 21:25Speaker 7: This day.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Ready, Celo, Anne, Marie and Philly writes. My husband called
- 21:34Speaker 4: me from the er after he got t boned by
- 21:37Speaker 4: another car. He was fine, but he had to be
- 21:39Speaker 4: checked out.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Uh.
- 21:41Speaker 4: The doctor asked if I needed to be checked out too,
- 21:43Speaker 4: and I said I wasn't in the car. He said
- 21:46Speaker 4: he must have made a mistake. Was it a mistake
- 21:48Speaker 4: or was there another woman in the car with my husband?
- 21:53Speaker 8: He got to get that hospital, But you got to
- 21:59Speaker 8: roll out and get your ass to the house. You
- 22:01Speaker 8: cannot go to that hospital. Damn that t bone lord
- 22:08Speaker 8: he mercy.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Doctor blew the doctor blew it.
- 22:14Speaker 11: Oh.
- 22:19Speaker 8: The only thing I can come up with, right a
- 22:20Speaker 8: bit right, right right immediately was baby. I don't know
- 22:25Speaker 8: what he talking about. I don't know how many people
- 22:28Speaker 8: was in there. He must be talking about the lady
- 22:30Speaker 8: that was in the other car that hit me, because
- 22:33Speaker 8: it was a couple in that car that hit me.
- 22:36Speaker 4: There you go, that's good, right there.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I don't but I'm on my way home though, but
- 22:43Speaker 1: I'm hurting a little bit.
- 22:45Speaker 8: Man.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I can't wait to see you fix. I got a
- 22:48Speaker 1: whole bone coming out the side of my shoulder. But
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'm coming home. Baby.
- 22:53Speaker 4: You don't need to stay at the hospital.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Don't worry about that.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Your wife is not a nurse.
- 22:59Speaker 7: You could.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I don't give that. I'm gonna go put some tapeallh.
- 23:06Speaker 4: On my head coming in the house, all right, moving on.
- 23:13Speaker 9: About who we're going to talk about anything, but who
- 23:15Speaker 9: else was in that damn car?
- 23:17Speaker 6: We go?
- 23:18Speaker 4: Moving on to Tianna and McKinney. Tianna says, my husband
- 23:22Speaker 4: cheated on me, and I took him back, but I
- 23:24Speaker 4: never forgave him. I constantly brought up his cheating. So
- 23:28Speaker 4: he moved out. He said he can't keep being persecuted
- 23:31Speaker 4: for the same crime. Is he using that as an
- 23:34Speaker 4: excuse to end our marriage?
- 23:37Speaker 9: Well, you know.
- 23:41Speaker 8: That's a twofold situation. I understand your pain because you hurt, yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 8: and I understand that, But then you know what, look
- 23:51Speaker 8: to forgive is one thing. To forget is a whole
- 23:54Speaker 8: nother thing. Nobody's asking you to forget what he did.
- 23:57Speaker 8: But if you don't forgive him, you gotta keep your eyes,
- 24:00Speaker 8: eyes open and be smart about it and make sure
- 24:02Speaker 8: you don't fall prey to the same tail.
- 24:04Speaker 9: But if you go keep whooping him, yeah, yeah, that's
- 24:08Speaker 9: an hour.
- 24:09Speaker 8: Yeah, Well you didn't forgive him, and you ain't forgotten,
- 24:15Speaker 8: and I can't blame you for either one. But he
- 24:18Speaker 8: he's sitting there saying he just can't do it, and
- 24:20Speaker 8: a lot of men can. But a lot of women
- 24:23Speaker 8: are like you and not gonna forgive him. And maybe
- 24:26Speaker 8: you should end your marriage. But he said, is he
- 24:28Speaker 8: using his excuse to end the marriage? Well, if you
- 24:32Speaker 8: keep going, you're gonna not forgive him, and you're not
- 24:34Speaker 8: gonna forget it.
- 24:36Speaker 9: It's over anyway. The trust is gone.
- 24:39Speaker 8: And now you all sitting in there living in this
- 24:41Speaker 8: miserable relationship, and maybe you should end it, because why
- 24:46Speaker 8: living it? If you gonna keep bringing it up and
- 24:48Speaker 8: reliving it for yourself, you don't forget it, and you
- 24:51Speaker 8: won't forget.
- 24:54Speaker 9: Well, now he ain't right for that. He was dead wrong.
- 24:59Speaker 9: He brought his misery on hisself.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Right, but she took him back, though she just didn't
- 25:04Speaker 4: forgive him. Yeah, all right. Moving on, moving on to
- 25:11Speaker 4: Ebane and Allentown, Evanie says, I got drunk the other
- 25:15Speaker 4: night and went home with the guy I've been dating.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I got six so he left me on the cold
- 25:21Speaker 4: bathroom floor all night without a blanket. Yeah, he's but
- 25:27Speaker 4: listen to this though he said it was the best
- 25:29Speaker 4: place for me.
- 25:32Speaker 9: What you was throwing up a lot?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Uh huh?
- 25:35Speaker 4: Why didn't he put me in the bed? Is this
- 25:38Speaker 4: a red flag?
- 25:39Speaker 9: Baby? The red flag? Is you that drunk?
- 25:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:43Speaker 8: But you can't get up off the bedroom badroom floor.
- 25:46Speaker 8: Is this a red flag? You're the red flag? Like
- 25:50Speaker 8: telling you right now you're probably not gonna see this
- 25:52Speaker 8: guy again. Eva, don't nobody want no fall down fall
- 25:56Speaker 8: out drunk?
- 25:57Speaker 9: Won't that? Is it a National Women's Day?
- 26:02Speaker 4: Get it together?
- 26:07Speaker 9: You need a damn to drink minimum one on one day?
- 26:14Speaker 9: You fall down drunk? This is how you live. Anybody
- 26:17Speaker 9: signing know for that? Come on now? Is this a
- 26:19Speaker 9: red flag? Why did he leave me on the floor?
- 26:25Speaker 8: Yeah? Girl, buy, I promise you if this is if
- 26:30Speaker 8: I find out, this is how you are this, This
- 26:32Speaker 8: ain't happening no more. I don't, I don't, I don't
- 26:34Speaker 8: do that. I ain't never been fall out drunk before.
- 26:37Speaker 8: I'm sure not signing up for no chick that had.
- 26:42Speaker 7: Cut.
- 26:44Speaker 9: I don care. If you're that fine, what's wrong with you?
- 26:51Speaker 2: Well?
- 26:52Speaker 8: Come on now, let's grow up. At one point in time,
- 26:55Speaker 8: you got to know when it's too much. If you're
- 26:58Speaker 8: drinking and you start tipsy, but you steady polling it
- 27:02Speaker 8: in that the rest of it does in your blood
- 27:04Speaker 8: system ain't hit you. You steadied up in some moon
- 27:07Speaker 8: in Okay, because remember this, when you realize you drunk,
- 27:12Speaker 8: there's some more coming.
- 27:13Speaker 1: There's some loam, all right, there's some more gone.
- 27:17Speaker 8: Kick here.
- 27:21Speaker 4: He said it was the best place for me. All Right,

- 38:09Speaker 1: You to be scared. You should be scared to step
- 38:12Speaker 1: out there, my mama. People would push me out there.
- 38:14Speaker 1: You're gonna do this.
- 38:16Speaker 10: Whether you win or lose or draw, You're gonna do this.

- 54:01Speaker 4: Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I have been married
- 54:04Speaker 4: for three years, and people are uncomfortable with how we
- 54:07Speaker 4: express our love for each other. We dress alike most days,
- 54:11Speaker 4: and we practically do everything together. We are both overly affectionate,
- 54:16Speaker 4: so public displays of affection are a must. He's constantly
- 54:20Speaker 4: complimenting me, and we never had any bad days. My
- 54:24Speaker 4: family is very religious and my dad won't allow my
- 54:27Speaker 4: husband to be all over me whenever we're in his presence.
- 54:30Speaker 4: I have a problem with that. I belong to my
- 54:33Speaker 4: husband now, and my body is his temple just as
- 54:35Speaker 4: much as it's mine. When we first started dating, I
- 54:40Speaker 4: was only twenty two and living at my parents' home.
- 54:44Speaker 4: My dad caught us having sex twice, so I decided
- 54:47Speaker 4: to move in with my man. We got married six
- 54:50Speaker 4: months after moving in together, and my dad had hoped
- 54:52Speaker 4: that we would not stay together. But things have been lovely.
- 54:57Speaker 4: He's thirty and I call him my big britis bear,
- 55:00Speaker 4: and he calls me his sugar baby. He takes great
- 55:04Speaker 4: care of me. He shops for me and takes care
- 55:06Speaker 4: of all of our finances. I don't have to work.
- 55:09Speaker 4: All I have to do is my wifely duties in
- 55:12Speaker 4: the bedroom and be his queen. He's my best friend now,
- 55:16Speaker 4: and my bestie cringes when I tell her that she
- 55:19Speaker 4: has never had this kind of love, so I don't
- 55:21Speaker 4: expect her to understand. I have considered cutting her off
- 55:25Speaker 4: totally after she and my marriage. She said my marriage
- 55:28Speaker 4: is suspect, and I found out she was talking crap
- 55:31Speaker 4: about my marriage to my parents. I'd hate to distance
- 55:34Speaker 4: myself from them all. So how do I convince them
- 55:38Speaker 4: that I'm doing just fine? Oh sugar baby, just oh
- 55:43Speaker 4: sugar baby. Listen, people are gonna talk period, no matter
- 55:47Speaker 4: what's going on. If you're doing badly, they're really going
- 55:49Speaker 4: to talk about you. If you're doing well, they'll find
- 55:52Speaker 4: something to run their mouth's about too. So I say, please,
- 55:56Speaker 4: don't cut anyone off. They're just doing what people naturally do.
- 56:00Speaker 4: And people in general, I gotta say this to you,
- 56:03Speaker 4: people in general are uncomfortable with PDA public displays of affection.
- 56:08Speaker 4: They're uncomfortable with that. These days, you don't have to
- 56:11Speaker 4: convince anyone of anything. I think it's already been three
- 56:15Speaker 4: years that you've been together. So keep going, you know,
- 56:19Speaker 4: keep loving each other, and just stay together. I mean,
- 56:22Speaker 4: prove them wrong, prove them wrong. Try to understand your
- 56:26Speaker 4: father's point of view, though, because he is a pastor,
- 56:29Speaker 4: and he did catch you guys having sex twice in
- 56:32Speaker 4: his house. So don't be hard on your dad. You
- 56:37Speaker 4: were wrong for that you were in his house doing that.
- 56:39Speaker 4: He's just looking out for his daughter. He's not one
- 56:42Speaker 4: hundred percent sold on this guy. He's just not He
- 56:45Speaker 4: was hoping that the marriage didn't work out three years.
- 56:48Speaker 4: You guys are young. You haven't had any major issues.
- 56:51Speaker 4: But you know marriage is tough and has a lot
- 56:53Speaker 4: of ups and downs. So we'll see how your husband
- 56:58Speaker 4: acts and reacts in those types situation. Your dad is
- 57:01Speaker 4: looking out for you. He's keeping a side eye on
- 57:03Speaker 4: your husband. Again, you cannot cut anyone off, especially your family,
- 57:07Speaker 4: because you might need them one day if things in
- 57:09Speaker 4: your marriage don't go well. Steve, ain't none wrong.
- 57:16Speaker 9: Ain't nothing wrong?
- 57:16Speaker 3: Now?
- 57:17Speaker 8: Of course I see several things wrong with the letter,
- 57:19Speaker 8: but really, ain't nothing wrong. You've been married three years.
- 57:22Speaker 4: Yeah, but you you.
- 57:27Speaker 9: Say that people are uncomfortable with how we express our
- 57:30Speaker 9: love for each other.
- 57:32Speaker 4: Now, ain't that.
- 57:33Speaker 8: I don't think that's really it. I'm going to show
- 57:35Speaker 8: you what I think they uncomfortable with. We dress alike
- 57:39Speaker 8: most days, right there, That's what the problem is. We
- 57:42Speaker 8: dress alike most days. Well, the problem with dressing alike
- 57:47Speaker 8: is y'all ain't built the same. Yeah, you done called
- 57:53Speaker 8: him your briskly bad his big ass got the same
- 57:56Speaker 8: outfit on you got on. He calling you sugar baby, Well,
- 58:00Speaker 8: white called you sugar baby. You eat a lot, You
- 58:02Speaker 8: eat a lot of pastriot stuff.
- 58:03Speaker 9: That's what I think.
- 58:05Speaker 8: Y'all be asked and bought that red, white and blue
- 58:08Speaker 8: track suit down there at the outlet mall, and now
- 58:11Speaker 8: y'all got this big red and blue outfit on. Y'all
- 58:13Speaker 8: coming down here looking like a flag that then come
- 58:16Speaker 8: off the flag, Poe, y'all not look like a flag.
- 58:21Speaker 9: Y'all look like the mural on the side of the building.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Coming.
- 58:25Speaker 8: Then y'all got the nrder be hugged up and tongue
- 58:30Speaker 8: at each other everywhere y'all go, and people say, oh lord,
- 58:35Speaker 8: here they come there. You can't be that in love.
- 58:37Speaker 8: Y'all got the same clothes on. Then that time y'all
- 58:41Speaker 8: bought that black and yellow outfit, y'all seem to be
- 58:43Speaker 8: looking like them two big ass beads on that Cheerio commercial.
- 58:46Speaker 8: Now y'all said to fat ass bees that walked in here,
- 58:50Speaker 8: and now y'all buzzing all around each other, and so
- 58:54Speaker 8: now I think that's what it is. Then she said,
- 58:57Speaker 8: uh uh, he's constantly complimenting me and we never have
- 59:02Speaker 8: any bad days. Well that's great. I hope that lasts.
- 59:05Speaker 8: I don't see how it can cause bad days come
- 59:08Speaker 8: for everybody. My family is very religious, and my dad
- 59:11Speaker 8: won't allow my husband to be all over me whenever
- 59:14Speaker 8: in his present, Sureley said, your dad's a pastor. I
- 59:17Speaker 8: just think your family's very religious. He might be a pastor.
- 59:20Speaker 8: I don't know where she got that from, but they religious.
- 59:24Speaker 8: I don't like, Oh, the dudes, it's all over my
- 59:27Speaker 8: daughters either. You know what I mean, And I know
- 59:29Speaker 8: what they doing, but I don't want to really see it.
- 59:33Speaker 8: But I have a problem with that. I belong to
- 59:35Speaker 8: my husband.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Now.
- 59:36Speaker 9: My body is his temple as much as it is mine.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Who are you?
- 59:40Speaker 9: Where you come from?
- 59:43Speaker 8: You're twenty twenty four, you're twenty two years old, and
- 59:46Speaker 8: you talking about my body is his temple?
- 59:48Speaker 9: Okay?
- 59:48Speaker 8: Now, okay, alright, we come back. We gonna talk about
- 59:52Speaker 8: these two big air temples and what could happen.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Alright, listen. Coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 59:59Speaker 4: hour of we'll have part two of Steve's response too.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: He's my brizzly bear and I'm his sugar baby. That's
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: today's strawberry letter. Right after this, you're listening Morning Show.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: The subject is, He's my brisly bear and I'm his
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: sugar baby.
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: Yea da damn the baby.
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: Well, okay, everybody tied all this Google guy gotta mess
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: y'all pulling every time y'all pull up. And then y'all
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: dressed just to like he's your brisly bear and you
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: his sugar baby. You eating a lot of pastry. If
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: somebody won't call you sugar baby and brizzly bear, his
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: ass gots to be big. So now he y'all come
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: with the matching outfits on coming in here looking like
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: h y'all. Y'all wore all white to the all white party.
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: Y'all was in there looking like the Pillsbury dough boy
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: in the Michigan Man. Y'all came through the do right here,
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: and then I'm sitting up here.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: The daddy is uncomfortable with you being all over each
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: other because he's a very religious family man, and I
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: belong to my husband. Now my body is his temple
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: as much as it is mine. I told you when
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: we came back, we were gonna talk about these two
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: big ass temples because these people they large and the
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: real affection and they large and they and they dress
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: alike at the all white party it was at.
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: When they say what they're large?
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: Where my bristly Bell? And I'm his sugar baby. Yeah,
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: you ain't never seen a skinny person. N ain't sugar baby,
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: You've never seen a skinny person named.
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: Bristly Bell.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Just means yeah, large man.
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: People, surely, I promise you that. And then they big
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: ass got the nerdy dress alike. Stop they all evnced.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: They dressed a lot.
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: They done came in there and missed the mssus clause
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: for the Christmas party. During the first year there was als,
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: but nobody believed the.
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: Toys.
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: That's cause they got talked about so bad that the
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: year before Christmas party, I know what are you doing now?
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: My husband is his My body is his temple as
- 1:02:39Speaker 8: much as it is mine. So these two big ass temples,
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: we're gonna call them the Crystal Palace and tash My Hall.
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: They don't walk their big ass in here, and got
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: dressed alike. My dad called us Halving six twice twice,
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: so I decided to move in with my man.
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: Wait a minute, girl, you and your daddy, how.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: This boy?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Lucky?
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: Your daddy boy? We got married six months and after
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: moving in together, my dad hoped we wouldn't stay together,
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: but things have been lovely.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: He's thirty. I can tell my big Okay.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: Now she's admitting that he's big. She said, right here, Shirley,
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: I didn't even see this, Thank you, Lord. Reading is fundamental.
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: He's thirty and I called him my big bristly bell,
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: and he still calls me his sugar baby. Most big
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: ass dudes have to get large women most, and ain't
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: nothing wrong with that. I've seen some fine fool figure
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: women out there in my life, Lord, and she one
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: of them.
- 1:03:50Speaker 9: But what's throwing them off?
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: As they dress just to lif? He takes care of
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: all of our fan asses, take good care of me.
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: I don't have to work. All I have to do
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: is my wife flee duties in the bedroom and be
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: his queen Lady Donald how long this is gonna last?
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: But enjoyed while it is lastly because y'all ain't got
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: no problem. He's my best friend now and my best
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: He cringe is when I tell her that she's never
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: had this kind of love before.
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: Whatn't nobody had? So I expect her to understand.
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: I've considered cutting her off totally after she said, my
- 1:04:23Speaker 8: marriage is suspect. And I find out she talking crap
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: about my marriage to my parents, I'd hate to distance
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: myself from them all. So why do I convince that
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: I'm doing just fine. It's going to do fine, that's
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: all you got to do, right. But y'all's big ass.
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: Ain't all you say you are either. I'm not wishing
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: you no bad, but listen to me.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: It's not perfect life.
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: Ain't no crystal stairway. Man, Come on nothing. My marriage
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: is tough and it's gonna get tough. That make sure
- 1:04:52Speaker 8: you feel the same way about his big ass when
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: he gets tough as you can.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Oh, my big prisly beer come here.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: Yeah, that big bristly bear turns into other words. Now
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: Joe fat glass won't now wait a minute, big chunky,
- 1:05:12Speaker 8: he gonna be chunky cheese.
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: In a minute.
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: He bristly bad right name for him? That doesn't mean
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: he's big STI.
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: Girl, girl, how is your pet name bristoley ball? Then
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: she said, my big bristly ball. There's nothing small about
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: this man stomach and everything at that jogging suit that
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: they ain't got that zip on the bottom you know,
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: the real expensive jog and suits. They have a zip
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: on the bottom too, so you can release a little
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: bit of their attention.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: They don't have that.
- 1:05:41Speaker 9: He bought there.
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: They bought theirs at the outlet mall. They wasn't see
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: they dressed just a light because they shop at the
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: outlet mall. All the stuff it dated. Yeah, yeah, they
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: was at the barbecue last year. Both of them had boman.
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: Theyad on kango hats. So I ain't got no advice
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: for him itself. Get ready because life is going to
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: be a big challenging nothing to lasts.
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: Forever and this is all stay together.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I cared them about they fail.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: They tired of you and you're all right.

- 1:20:41Speaker 9: Another he is cutty, ain't hell?
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: Guy?
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: Sir?
- 1:20:56Speaker 8: Well, my clothesing remarks is to just say to all
- 1:21:02Speaker 8: the women out there, listen from a male perspective. Let's
- 1:21:10Speaker 8: just say, from my perspective as a male, I really
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: don't know how you do it, but I'm glad you do.
- 1:21:19Speaker 8: I've known women. I've watched women thrive, I've watched women suffer.
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: I've watched women when I've watched them lose. I've watched
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: women endure, I've watched women sacrifice. I just don't know
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: anybody that does it better. Women are some of the
- 1:21:44Speaker 8: greatest human beings ever created. When you think about it,
- 1:21:50Speaker 8: let's just begin with the most important thing. All of
- 1:21:54Speaker 8: us are here today because of some woman somewhere, Some
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: women somewhere again gave us life. That right there alone.
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: I just that's a debt of gratitude just unrepellable. You
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: just don't know how it disturbs me when I see
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: people who, for whatever the.
- 1:22:16Speaker 9: Reason, don't have relationship with their mother.
- 1:22:20Speaker 8: Whatever the reason is, you see, because look, I understand
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: everybody's dealt a different hand. Sometimes your mother runs into
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: situation because she's a human being. Sometimes she gets caught
- 1:22:33Speaker 8: up in a different situation. Your mom can make a
- 1:22:37Speaker 8: decision that ain't always been the best.
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: Decision, you know.
- 1:22:42Speaker 8: But I gotta tell you, I've watched them overcome time
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: and time again. How many women do I know that
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: had children out of wedlock and gave birth to some
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: of the greatest young people I've ever met before? How
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: many women have I watched them recover from having children
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: at a young age and create these people that go
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: on to say, if it wasn't for my mother, It
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: just disturbs me.
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: I understand.
- 1:23:05Speaker 8: Some people's moms end up on drugs and in situations
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: but at the end of the day, man, she's still
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: your mother. That don't never change. You only get one mother,
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: You get one birth mother period. If you are out
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: there and you are at odds with your mother, if
- 1:23:26Speaker 8: I was you, I would try to make it right. Nah,
- 1:23:30Speaker 8: understand it takes two to tangle it. I know, Steve,
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: you don't understand what she did. I may not, I
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: may not get it. But at the end of the day,
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: what I'm telling you is one thing I do know
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: about is that you might come to the day that
- 1:23:44Speaker 8: you don't have her no more. And let me tell
- 1:23:47Speaker 8: you something about that day. And this is from a
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: man who is a man's man. I'm telling you, Steve
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: Harvey got a strength that I didn't know I had,
- 1:23:59Speaker 8: and God tested me many times on it. But when
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: he took my mother, let me tell you something that
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: was an ultimate test for me. And one day that's
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: gonna come down your street. And I don't care who
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: you are, I don't care what happened. It's gonna be
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: a hole in your soul today that woman leave this earth.
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: I don't care who you are, So if you can
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: fix it. If I was you, I'd go over there
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: and get it right. You might have to be you
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: might have to be the bigger person.
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: I got it.
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: But she was the bigger person when she laid there
- 1:24:31Speaker 8: and gave you life though, and see for that. You
- 1:24:34Speaker 8: can't forget that. And I'm talking to anybody that's listening
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: to me. Once again, I don't know your situations. I
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: really don't even know what made me choose to say
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: this today, But this is just over my heart. Fixing
- 1:24:46Speaker 8: with your mama, man, fix it with and you and
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: you men out there, you brothers out there, go fix
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: it with your You may be the thing your mama needs.
- 1:24:58Speaker 8: Maybe you got to this thing called me manhood because
- 1:25:00Speaker 8: one day you'd be faced with the opportunity to go
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: make it right with your mama, and you're man enough
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: for it because it's on your heart to do it.
- 1:25:09Speaker 8: And you women out there that's at odds with your mother, Billy,
- 1:25:14Speaker 8: you who have the ability to make a life too,
- 1:25:17Speaker 8: you can't see that in one another. I really don't
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: understand this, not having a relationship with your mother from
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: a male standpoint. I don't understand it because my mama
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: was the first woman I ever loved, and I loved
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: her like I love nobody to this day. But for
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: a daughter and a mother to be at odds and
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: you have the ability to make a child or you've
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: had a child, for you not to understand that connection,
- 1:25:48Speaker 8: that's on you. That ain't on your mother, that's on you.
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: And once again, I don't know why I'm going down
- 1:25:58Speaker 8: this road. This ain't need the road I was gonna do.
- 1:26:01Speaker 8: I was gonna thank a bunch of women in my
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: life or something told me on this International Women's Day,
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: try to me in the relationship with your mother, because
- 1:26:12Speaker 8: one day you ain't gonna have them. And I'm gonna
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: tell you what I know. You ain't gonna believe that
- 1:26:16Speaker 8: feeling because I ain't had a feeling like that in
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: my life. Go fix it with your mama. Man or woman.
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: Maybe can make the first step. Go fix it with
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: your mama. Those are my closing remarks. If you didn't
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: like it, it's probably because I was talking to you.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Have a great talk to you.
