- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh huh, I shall will a good morning everybody. Y'are
- 2:04Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me NW one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah, I
- 2:11Speaker 1: got one. And I got a message for you today
- 2:14Speaker 1: to something I was thinking about that might help you
- 2:18Speaker 1: along the way. Um the thing I appreciate about so
- 2:21Speaker 1: many people that I learned from Bishop Jake's, Kenneth Omer,
- 2:28Speaker 1: Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, um, Joel Oldstein. I can't tell
- 2:38Speaker 1: you and and and and many more than that. I mean,
- 2:41Speaker 1: you know, I mean I'm naming you know, famous people
- 2:47Speaker 1: because because I know you know these names. But my father,
- 2:51Speaker 1: who you never met, was so great in my development
- 2:56Speaker 1: as a man, But my mother thought him mercy. My
- 2:59Speaker 1: mother was um. She taught me about faith, She gave
- 3:06Speaker 1: me the things I needed to know about. What I
- 3:09Speaker 1: speak about every day, that basis was given to me
- 3:12Speaker 1: by her. So there's so many great people. But here's
- 3:16Speaker 1: here's here's the thing that I've had to learn, and
- 3:21Speaker 1: that is that if God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Move on. See, I can't tell you how many people
- 3:30Speaker 1: don't really pay attention to that close enough. If God
- 3:34Speaker 1: got you through it, it's done. Move on. How many
- 3:40Speaker 1: times have we as people allowed God to get us
- 3:45Speaker 1: through something, get us beyond something, get us over something,
- 3:49Speaker 1: get us through something, and then even after its completion,
- 3:55Speaker 1: we sit there and we dwell on it, and we
- 3:57Speaker 1: dwell on it to the point where it comes an
- 4:00Speaker 1: anchor around our neck and we can't move on. We
- 4:06Speaker 1: can't move on because we just won't let it go.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It's done. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Move on. Stop harboring on the past. Stop hanging on
- 4:22Speaker 1: to every time you fail, Stop hanging on to every
- 4:25Speaker 1: time you slipped up and messed up. Stop hanging on
- 4:28Speaker 1: to every time you didn't get it right. So what
- 4:32Speaker 1: everybody makes mistakes, Everybody messes up, Everybody don't get it right.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Everybody is struggling with something. You ain't the only one.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But my God. Man, if God got you through it,
- 4:48Speaker 1: it's done. Move on. You're hanging on to it, for
- 4:53Speaker 1: that's why He got it, got you through it, so
- 4:55Speaker 1: you can move on from it. See a lot of
- 4:58Speaker 1: things that happened to us that we think are negative
- 5:02Speaker 1: or bad experience. These are lessons and what and what
- 5:07Speaker 1: not to do. This is a this uh, this is
- 5:12Speaker 1: a this is a way to have a now or
- 5:15Speaker 1: bearing on. Lookout for it the next time. You know
- 5:19Speaker 1: you you you you you. You got me once, you
- 5:23Speaker 1: can't get me again. I'm telling you, man, if God
- 5:27Speaker 1: got you through it, it's done. Move on. You have
- 5:31Speaker 1: got to move on. I use this analogy all the time.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna add a little bit to it. Bishop Jake's
- 5:39Speaker 1: told me you cannot drive your car looking in the
- 5:44Speaker 1: rear view mirror. I was talking to a young singer
- 5:50Speaker 1: yesterday who I ran up into and man, let me
- 5:54Speaker 1: tell you something. This this this analogy or I told him.
- 5:59Speaker 1: We had about twenty minute conversational. See you know what
- 6:03Speaker 1: Your rear view mirror is actually for in your car.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I was just tripping on this one day. Actually, your
- 6:10Speaker 1: rear view mirror is designed and this is what I
- 6:14Speaker 1: use it for. After I pass a car and I
- 6:19Speaker 1: want to emerge into that lane or I want to
- 6:23Speaker 1: make another move, I look up in the rear view mirror,
- 6:30Speaker 1: and all I use it for it shows me that
- 6:33Speaker 1: I've gotten past it. I've gotten past the vehicle I
- 6:37Speaker 1: was passing, and I got enough room, not clear, to
- 6:40Speaker 1: make my next move. That's what I used my rear
- 6:43Speaker 1: view mirror for. I used my rear view mirror to
- 6:47Speaker 1: just glance up every now and then to see what's
- 6:50Speaker 1: coming up on me. That's all I use it for.
- 6:55Speaker 1: The rear view mirror. When you're passing through something, it
- 7:00Speaker 1: sent to me real close. Now, your rear view mirror
- 7:03Speaker 1: on your car is after you're passing something or you're
- 7:07Speaker 1: passing by something, you can look up in the rear
- 7:11Speaker 1: view mirror and it lets you know you're past it,
- 7:14Speaker 1: You're beyond it. It's clear. Now it's in the past.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You no longer have to deal with it as the
- 7:21Speaker 1: car that was in front of you blocking your way.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You have passed it. You look up in the mirror.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You've cleared it. Now, if you want to switch lanes,
- 7:32Speaker 1: you could slide on over. You got room. But that
- 7:35Speaker 1: rear view mirror also lets you see if anything is
- 7:39Speaker 1: coming up on you, and you just need to glance,
- 7:41Speaker 1: because if you're moving forward, ain't a whole lot can
- 7:45Speaker 1: come up on you. You're just glancing every now and then,
- 7:48Speaker 1: and it reminds you that you got through something and
- 7:51Speaker 1: you got beyond something. That's what the rear view mirror for. Now,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let's talk about that wind shield. Why you think that
- 7:58Speaker 1: windshield so big in your car? That's the biggest window
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your car. You know why the wind shield so
- 8:07Speaker 1: big because it's where you're going. Because even the automobile
- 8:13Speaker 1: makers want you to have a wide view of where
- 8:16Speaker 1: you're going so you can see what's up ahead. They
- 8:20Speaker 1: put lights on the car night so you can have
- 8:23Speaker 1: night vision and see what's up ahead. But you can oh, man,
- 8:27Speaker 1: uh see not? Why is that? Look? Think about that now?
- 8:31Speaker 1: For I move forward with this one. Think about that
- 8:34Speaker 1: wind shield. Man, why is that wind shields so big
- 8:37Speaker 1: so you can see where you're going. It's way more
- 8:40Speaker 1: important where you're going than where you're being. Don't you
- 8:44Speaker 1: see that. That's why the rear view mirror is so small,
- 8:48Speaker 1: because it is nowhere. There's important as it is as
- 8:51Speaker 1: to where you're going, why you're being. Just allows you
- 8:55Speaker 1: to take a glance so you can make sure you
- 8:57Speaker 1: clear it, so you can see if it's room enough
- 8:59Speaker 1: for you to make your next move, so you can
- 9:01Speaker 1: know that you've gone through it and go head on
- 9:03Speaker 1: about your business. But that windshield, that windshield is for
- 9:08Speaker 1: vision a man without a dream of visions your parish.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That windshield is for somebody going somewhere. That windshielding for
- 9:16Speaker 1: somebody else there trying to make another move. I'm gonna
- 9:19Speaker 1: go right, I'm on left. I'm gonna get off on
- 9:20Speaker 1: this exit. I'm gonna take this D two. I'm gonna
- 9:22Speaker 1: handle it. Signed, there's a new route. There's only so
- 9:25Speaker 1: many miles left to go. That's what the windshield got.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, man, when you see a
- 9:31Speaker 1: mile signed, you're driving on the freeway, you're on the interstate,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and you let's say you're driving to a particular city
- 9:36Speaker 1: and you see a sign that says that city is
- 9:39Speaker 1: thirty eight hunting thirty eight miles away. That lets you
- 9:43Speaker 1: know where you're going, and you're on the right path now.
- 9:46Speaker 1: If you keep looking in the rear view mirror, you'll
- 9:50Speaker 1: never know how close you are. You'll never know because
- 9:56Speaker 1: you're driving your car. Look in the reverview mirror. You
- 9:58Speaker 1: all on the shoulder. You hear them rocks up to
- 10:00Speaker 1: your car. You have scared yourself to death because you
- 10:02Speaker 1: know why, because you keep looking in the rear view mirror.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Get out the rear view mirror. If God got you through,
- 10:10Speaker 1: it is done. Move on? So what he so what?
- 10:16Speaker 1: He don't love you know more? And man, let's move on.
- 10:20Speaker 1: If God got you through, it is done. Move on.
- 10:24Speaker 1: God got something for you. If you get out your
- 10:26Speaker 1: rear view mirror and get up in that windshield. God's
- 10:30Speaker 1: got something for your upperhead. But you can't see what's
- 10:33Speaker 1: up ahead because you in that rear view mirror. If
- 10:36Speaker 1: God got you through, it is done. Let's move on.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, don't let the past beat you up.
- 10:43Speaker 1: That's the ingredients in the cake. You made that already.
- 10:46Speaker 1: That's done. Let's go God. Look in the windshield. See
- 10:49Speaker 1: what God mobl got something new for you. If you
- 10:51Speaker 1: get out the rear view mirror and look open up
- 10:53Speaker 1: your eyes and see all right, let's go today to show. Baby,
- 11:04Speaker 1: it is a steam hive in morning show you more
- 11:07Speaker 1: Jane and Ryan and Blu. We're holding it down the

- 11:33Speaker 1: Man holding it down. Share it's Toby, Oh, you better

- 11:56Speaker 1: Can I have a dollar? Mom? Can I have a dollar?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Can I have? You? To get that money? And you
- 12:01Speaker 1: gotta go, You gotta get that money and you gotta go.
- 12:03Speaker 1: You gotta all of the down food. Number one King
- 12:05Speaker 1: of pranks, my man nephew timing back. Let me get

- 12:17Speaker 1: When the blowpop push up push up. Yeah, that nutted,
- 12:25Speaker 1: but it was my friend. Remember the ice cream you
- 12:28Speaker 1: split it with your with their partner, you you breaking
- 12:31Speaker 1: your hand. Yeah, they had to. It's like two and
- 12:33Speaker 1: that right, Just a good old ice cream sandwich, not that, man.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Have you noticed the ice cream sandwich is a much
- 12:41Speaker 1: small enough? Yeah, don't taste the same? Is that ice
- 12:46Speaker 1: cream in between? Ice cream? Taste different? Man? Remember to
- 12:51Speaker 1: look ice cream cup. Remember the cup of ice cream
- 12:54Speaker 1: on the top came with its own spoon, baby, Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: the little wooden spoon. Yeah, little wooden spoon. Man. And
- 13:01Speaker 1: if you didn't have the spoon, you use the top
- 13:03Speaker 1: of the cup. So what's your favorite flavor? Ja No,
- 13:07Speaker 1: the one that has the three the white, chocolate and neopolitan. Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: we's called strawberry, chocolate and vanilla. We never a little neopolitan.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's right there on the box. Use that word. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: what is it called neopolitans? The first time I heard
- 13:31Speaker 1: that word right there, man's on the body, that's right
- 13:34Speaker 1: there on the side of chocolate vanilla. That's all I
- 13:37Speaker 1: haven't what's your favorite, Joe? Well, you know what I love.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I love vanilla because if you can make good vanilla,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you can make any flavor. That's how I look at it. Yeah,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but of course I love strawberry. Come on, now, that's
- 13:53Speaker 1: what we thought you were gonna sat and look you
- 13:58Speaker 1: said we would have hope you say strawberry, We hope
- 14:01Speaker 1: you would. Yeah. I love Rocky Road. Oh yeah, that's
- 14:09Speaker 1: my favor. Oh yeah, that was good. Don't let him
- 14:13Speaker 1: remember it was the youth for punishment. If you don't
- 14:16Speaker 1: act right, you ain't getting no ice cream. That's right.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Change your behavior immediately, not the ice cream punishment. Did
- 14:27Speaker 1: you say your favorite? Now? Vanilla? Vanilla? All right, listen,
- 14:32Speaker 1: coming up, we have to talk about this. President Trump
- 14:35Speaker 1: backtracks on Russian were fired? Oh you're fired. Donald. We'll
- 14:44Speaker 1: be back at thirty two after the hour you're listening
- 14:47Speaker 1: to show. All right, Steve Harvey somewhere in the world
- 14:53Speaker 1: bawling out of control. Okay, yeah, juniors out today too,
- 14:58Speaker 1: as we celebrate his birthday today. Yeah. Absolutely well, guys,
- 15:07Speaker 1: coming up in about an hour, we're going to play
- 15:10Speaker 1: are you smarter the nephew Tommy? You could win a
- 15:13Speaker 1: chance to get some of Steve's grand prize money of
- 15:16Speaker 1: one million dollars. Okay, all you have to do is
- 15:21Speaker 1: go to Steve Harvey FM dot com and register so
- 15:24Speaker 1: you can play Are you smarter the nephew Tommy? We'll
- 15:33Speaker 1: see today, We'll see. Yeah, this is embarrassing. Okay, alright,
- 15:40Speaker 1: so switching gears. President Trump has been forced to walk
- 15:44Speaker 1: back or take back whatever you want to say, these
- 15:47Speaker 1: statements after a media storm following his apparent defense of
- 15:50Speaker 1: Russia over claims of meddling in the US two thousand
- 15:54Speaker 1: sixteen elections. Okay, of course, we talked about this yesterday.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Republican and inocratic politicians, intelligence agency officials, and political pundits
- 16:04Speaker 1: called Trump's joint press conference with Putin in Finland Helsinki,
- 16:10Speaker 1: Finland shameful and disgraceful. After the President refused to challenge
- 16:14Speaker 1: Putin over interference in the elections. President Trump accepted the
- 16:18Speaker 1: conclusion from US officials the Russians meddled in the election,
- 16:23Speaker 1: but downplayed its impact. Take a listen to this. Russia's
- 16:28Speaker 1: actions had no end effect at all on the outcome
- 16:32Speaker 1: of the election. After what, Hey, you're in office, dude,
- 16:38Speaker 1: come on now, it had a major impact. What are
- 16:42Speaker 1: you talking about? Not Also speaking at the White House,
- 16:47Speaker 1: the President misspoke. Take a listen to this. I said
- 16:51Speaker 1: the word would instead of wouldn't, the should have been.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I don't see any reason why I wouldn't or why
- 17:00Speaker 1: wouldn't be Russia the red of us. I'm so embarrassed.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I'm so would gate what ye wouldn't What I said
- 17:24Speaker 1: the word wouldn't should have been. I don't see any
- 17:30Speaker 1: reason why I wouldn't or why it wouldn't be Russia.
- 17:35Speaker 1: He got problem. See that's what that is. But it's
- 17:43Speaker 1: how long did it take him to retract that? Okay? Meanwhile,
- 17:48Speaker 1: our president for real, uh, former President Obama gave a
- 17:53Speaker 1: lecture in Johannesburg and he slammed a strong man politics
- 17:57Speaker 1: without even mentioning Donald Trump. Take a listen to this,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and politics of fear and resentment and retrenchment began to appear.
- 18:10Speaker 1: And that kind of politics is now on the move.
- 18:12Speaker 1: H It's on a move at a pace that would
- 18:16Speaker 1: have seemed unimaginable just a few years ago. I am
- 18:19Speaker 1: not being alarmist. I am simply stating the facts. Look around,
- 18:26Speaker 1: strong man politics are ascended suddenly, whereby elections and some
- 18:32Speaker 1: pretense of democracy are maintained the form of it, but
- 18:37Speaker 1: those in power seek to undermine every institution or norm
- 18:42Speaker 1: that gives democracy meaning we miss you get them. The
- 18:53Speaker 1: one day strong mani Florida from Good Times? Was that
- 19:12Speaker 1: movieber the movie Shane. Yes, that's right the man, but
- 19:22Speaker 1: surely so. We had the Trump sound bite, and then
- 19:27Speaker 1: we had president clown bite and this man talking about
- 19:31Speaker 1: Woulden Wooden gate which one sounds cool? Which one sounds
- 19:36Speaker 1: like a real president? I mean, can we can we hear?
- 19:45Speaker 1: I said the word would instead of wouldn't, right, should
- 19:50Speaker 1: have been I don't see any reason why I wouldn't
- 19:54Speaker 1: or why it wouldn't be rushing a lot of dress,
- 19:58Speaker 1: none of I'm on the plane, you see. It took
- 20:02Speaker 1: him a whole day to come up with that, though. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I don't see four more years. I don't. If we
- 20:15Speaker 1: don't get somebody up there, he will be back in
- 20:18Speaker 1: the White House. And if we don't get out to
- 20:21Speaker 1: the polls with midterm election, it will happen. It will
- 20:26Speaker 1: No way, the people that voted for him can sit
- 20:28Speaker 1: here for four years and look at this and say
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna vote for him again. You know what? Yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you're living in a fantasy way. We have nobody yet
- 20:39Speaker 1: Democrats are Republicans school people go up against them. You
- 20:42Speaker 1: just have to make sure you get out and vote.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Just with all that them and vigor. You voted for
- 20:47Speaker 1: President Obama with you know a few years ago. You
- 20:51Speaker 1: gotta get out to the polls. You have to. I'm
- 20:57Speaker 1: gonna wrong. Just let's let me wrong. Would you'all vote them? Well, yeah,
- 21:02Speaker 1: I would point yeah. I don't want to hear point
- 21:08Speaker 1: well to be pretty smart, you never that's one word.
- 21:22Speaker 1: So would you or wouldn't you? I meant to say
- 21:27Speaker 1: wouldn't you? But I said would you? Sound like a
- 21:29Speaker 1: dude who gets yes. Are you gonna run? Tommy? I'm
- 21:36Speaker 1: thinking about it. Run Tommy, run all right, we know
- 21:39Speaker 1: we're gonna I didn't mean to say that. You have
- 21:45Speaker 1: our vote, Tommy. You have our vote at this point.
- 21:48Speaker 1: All right, you can run this, run that brank back
- 21:51Speaker 1: when we come back. It's coming up with the Nephew
- 21:54Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning
- 21:58Speaker 1: Show coming up at the top of the our Entertainment news.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Uh who A lot of stuff going on. Meek Mill,
- 22:07Speaker 1: judges and lawyer on his side. Michelle Williams, formerly from
- 22:11Speaker 1: Destiny's Child, checks into a mental facility. And l de
- 22:14Speaker 1: barge bustom windows out your car. We're talking about it all. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:22Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here with run that rank back.
- 22:25Speaker 1: What you got, king of pranks? Let's run it back.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Can you do my makeup? Can you do makeup my makeup?
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's simple and sounds simple. Simple, Let's run it though, Branny. Hello,
- 22:43Speaker 1: Hello to Brandy Blues. Yes, Brandy, my name is Carl.

- 22:58Speaker 1: I'm a professional makeup artists okay. And you work at
- 23:01Speaker 1: the you work with the makeup counter and correct. Okay, listen,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta photo shoot coming up, and I
- 23:08Speaker 1: wanted to see about um sometime this week maybe the
- 23:12Speaker 1: follow a week. You could actually come and and I
- 23:14Speaker 1: hired you'd actually make me up for my photo shoot.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Is do you do a lot of photo shoots at all?
- 23:19Speaker 1: Or you? Yes, I sure do. I've been in the
- 23:21Speaker 1: business for ten years, so I've been around several fellow
- 23:25Speaker 1: shoots Okay, good deal. So what what's I mean you
- 23:28Speaker 1: have any time this week that I can actually just
- 23:29Speaker 1: come in and we can do like a trial run

- 23:35Speaker 1: six hours with Friday work for you. I'm here. I
- 23:38Speaker 1: started at eleven. At eleven, I mean I could come

- 23:48Speaker 1: for men work out? It works out the same as
- 23:52Speaker 1: for women in photo shoots. You just need some type
- 23:54Speaker 1: of crane foundation something to even out of the skin tone. Uh,
- 23:58Speaker 1: how do you down to take away the oils, cover
- 24:00Speaker 1: up any blemishes or anything like that. It's pretty much
- 24:02Speaker 1: the same. Of course, you don't get the whole eyeshadow
- 24:05Speaker 1: and lashes and stuff. But right, right, right, right right,
- 24:07Speaker 1: Well I'm not all that, but I'm just trying to,
- 24:09Speaker 1: you know, just trying to look good on camera. UM

- 24:14Speaker 1: done as far as um men? You know what I mean? Okay,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I'm very comfortable with it. You'll be fine, trust me.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That's what I was really worried about it if you
- 24:23Speaker 1: were going to be comfortable with it, because uh, I mean,
- 24:25Speaker 1: have you done? Um, I'm a little conscientious about a
- 24:29Speaker 1: few things, you know what I mean? And m have

- 25:00Speaker 1: You know, I'm a little shy about you know some
- 25:02Speaker 1: of that. So I was you can actually hope you
- 25:04Speaker 1: can actually make sure that those cards don't show and
- 25:07Speaker 1: you know you said you kind of um, you know,
- 25:10Speaker 1: uh make sure everything is it doesn't look oily, you
- 25:13Speaker 1: know what I mean? And and uh, I just need
- 25:15Speaker 1: to get my money. Well I I didn't when I
- 25:19Speaker 1: didn't understand what you're talking about. I may not be

- 25:29Speaker 1: about Yeah, but I'm not about to put my makeup
- 25:31Speaker 1: brushes that I use on people's faces on your ads,
- 25:33Speaker 1: like to tell your photographers like photoshop that, because well,

- 30:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't or why it wouldn't be Russia. What I
- 30:35Speaker 1: had meant to say was what had happened was all

- 31:38Speaker 1: smarter than the Nephew? Is it you? Is it you?
- 31:46Speaker 1: That's I know? I know. All right, it's time for
- 31:54Speaker 1: entertainment news, guys, a lot of stuff going on. Audio
- 31:57Speaker 1: has surfaced of Judge Denise Brinkley advised by her own
- 32:01Speaker 1: attorney to give Meek Mill a new trial, but she's
- 32:05Speaker 1: held bent against it. Apparently, Brinkley's lawyer, Charles Baruto Jr. Yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I recorded the interview, explaining that he advised his client
- 32:13Speaker 1: based on what he would do in this situation. Back
- 32:15Speaker 1: in May, he's even heard describing Judge Brinkley as looking
- 32:19Speaker 1: effing awful for not letting this go once the story broke. Yeah. Uh.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Meek immediately posted the audio clip on The Graham on
- 32:28Speaker 1: the Graham with the caption, everybody knows what's going on.
- 32:31Speaker 1: You can't make this stuff up, all right, this is crazy. Yeah,
- 32:38Speaker 1: but her attorney, the judge's attorney, is saying, he's even
- 32:42Speaker 1: saying let it go. Yeah. But for some reason, this
- 32:46Speaker 1: is it's just personal. Now, it's just really really personal.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Um okay, So um, Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child, Well,
- 32:55Speaker 1: she's reportedly checked herself into a mental health center for depression. Uh.
- 33:00Speaker 1: The last time we heard from her, she was engaged
- 33:03Speaker 1: and stuff and and looking very happy. Yeah, very recently.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Apparently she's been at the facility just outside of Los
- 33:09Speaker 1: Angeles for a few days. Um, Williams shared in a
- 33:13Speaker 1: statement via Instagram. For years, I have dedicated myself to
- 33:16Speaker 1: increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize
- 33:20Speaker 1: when it's time to seek health, help, support, and guidance
- 33:24Speaker 1: from those that love and care for your well being.
- 33:26Speaker 1: So We'll keep our eyes on this story and let
- 33:28Speaker 1: you know how it develops. But we're wishing her well
- 33:31Speaker 1: and um, of course good health. Yeah yeah, yeah, this
- 33:37Speaker 1: is big, yeah, and this is big. She's a famous
- 33:40Speaker 1: person and she did it, so you know, all right, yeah,
- 33:45Speaker 1: seek help. Absolutely. Finally, an entertainment news um L J.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Barge was arrested for allegedly taking a wrench to someone's
- 33:54Speaker 1: wind shield. Apparently L got into an argument Friday night.
- 33:58Speaker 1: I know, sweet lovable L de Barge. He took a
- 34:01Speaker 1: wrench to someone's windshield. He got into an argument friday
- 34:04Speaker 1: night and chased a man out of a house in
- 34:06Speaker 1: the San Fernando Valley. That's in an area of Los Angeles.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Unidentified man ran to hide in an RV. L smashed
- 34:15Speaker 1: the windshield with the wrench. The man called the cops.
- 34:18Speaker 1: L was charged with felony vandalism and spent the night
- 34:21Speaker 1: in jail. Before posting twenty thousand dollars bail was singing, yeah, bam,
- 34:40Speaker 1: let the lights all right, ja, let's let's take it
- 34:45Speaker 1: on over to MS and for today's headlines please and
- 34:50Speaker 1: trip yea, thank you very much. This is and trip
- 34:53Speaker 1: with the news, everybody, and Good morning, President Trump. Now
- 34:56Speaker 1: that he's been greeted with mostly negative responses to the
- 34:59Speaker 1: comments he may after that private European power with Vladimi Putin,
- 35:03Speaker 1: President now claiming he was misunderstood. This is what he
- 35:06Speaker 1: said about talking to Putin about Russian meddling in the elections.
- 35:11Speaker 1: They said, they think it's Russia. I have President Putin.
- 35:16Speaker 1: He just said it's not Russia. I will say this,
- 35:19Speaker 1: I don't see any reason why it would be. Well,
- 35:21Speaker 1: Trump now says, I misspoke, should have been I don't
- 35:25Speaker 1: see any reason why it wouldn't be Russia. Sort of
- 35:29Speaker 1: a double negative. So you can put that in, and
- 35:34Speaker 1: I think that probably clarifies things pretty good by yourself.
- 35:37Speaker 1: In other words, Trump now insist that he accepts the
- 35:39Speaker 1: findings of the U. S. Intelligence community and that yes,
- 35:42Speaker 1: Russia did interfere in our last presidential election. By the way,
- 35:47Speaker 1: this whole fiasco, this whole part of our particularly history
- 35:51Speaker 1: with the president, has not affected his support based at all.
- 35:55Speaker 1: His popularity among his base remains the same. Since we're
- 35:58Speaker 1: talking about turnarounds, though, get this, one of Donald trump
- 36:00Speaker 1: staunches supporters, Papa John's Pizza founded John Schnader now says
- 36:04Speaker 1: he made a mistake in agreeing to step down as
- 36:07Speaker 1: chairman of that company. Shnader's accused board members of not
- 36:10Speaker 1: knowing how to handle a quote crisis based on misinformation.
- 36:14Speaker 1: The Wall Street Journal says. Shnaider says he was asked
- 36:16Speaker 1: to step down as chairman without any investigation and should
- 36:19Speaker 1: not have agreed to it. He apologized last week for
- 36:22Speaker 1: using the N word during a sensitivity training conference call
- 36:25Speaker 1: of all Things, and for seeing me to reminisce about
- 36:27Speaker 1: how white people in Indiana, where he grew up used
- 36:30Speaker 1: to murder black people whenever they wanted to by dragging
- 36:32Speaker 1: them to death behind their trucks. Oh Snada's image has
- 36:36Speaker 1: been removed from company materials, but he remains on the
- 36:38Speaker 1: board and is the largest shareholder. Today. Would have been
- 36:42Speaker 1: the late Nelson Mandela is one hundred of birthday. Former
- 36:45Speaker 1: President Obama was a keynote speaker yesterday at South Africa
- 36:49Speaker 1: Centennial celebration for him, and at certain points Mr Obama
- 36:52Speaker 1: seemed to be talking about someone else. As with the
- 36:55Speaker 1: denial of rights, the denial effects once counter the democracy.
- 37:00Speaker 1: It could be it's undoing. You have to believe in facts.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Mr Obama is hosting a town hall in Johannesburg later
- 37:08Speaker 1: on today for young future leaders in that country. This
- 37:11Speaker 1: is sad story is sweet. Little seven year old girl
- 37:14Speaker 1: named Desandra Thomas was riding with her father early Sunday
- 37:17Speaker 1: morning when his car crashed along the highway in Romulus, Michigan.

- 37:27Speaker 1: one one. However, the police say they couldn't get a
- 37:30Speaker 1: fix on her. Not long after, a woman calls and
- 37:34Speaker 1: she says, I think I hit someone in that vicinity.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Police arrived on the scene and after some searching, they
- 37:40Speaker 1: discovered little Desander's body. They eventually found the father behind
- 37:44Speaker 1: the wheel. He was pretty intoxicated. He lost his little girl.

- 47:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach your sister. How you doing. I'm
- 47:43Speaker 1: giving you a call on behalf of Baptist Church. You
- 47:47Speaker 1: are a member there? Am I right? Yes? I am? Okay, listen, um,
- 47:52Speaker 1: I'm calling you. They some of the members have gotten
- 47:54Speaker 1: together and had a meeting and wanted me to give
- 47:57Speaker 1: you a call. It seems that a lot of them
- 48:02Speaker 1: are complaining about Sunday services that go on and wanted
- 48:07Speaker 1: for me to give you a call on their behalf
- 48:10Speaker 1: so that we can see if we can address the
- 48:12Speaker 1: problem and talk to you diligently as possible and try
- 48:15Speaker 1: to get the problem rectified. What's going on. Well, it
- 48:19Speaker 1: seems like that a lot of members are complaining. I'm sorry,
- 48:25Speaker 1: and what is your name against My name is mam uh.
- 48:29Speaker 1: I'm not actually a member of the church. I've just
- 48:31Speaker 1: been the one that they've been asked to give you
- 48:33Speaker 1: a call and try to talk on the members behalfs
- 48:36Speaker 1: So maybe we can get this problem. Rectify that you
- 48:39Speaker 1: that they have Uh, as far as you are concerned, Okay,
- 48:42Speaker 1: go ahead, I'm just trying to see what this is
- 48:44Speaker 1: in regards to go ahead. Well, it seems like the
- 48:47Speaker 1: members of the church are complaining about that you're doing
- 48:50Speaker 1: too much shouting at church on Sunday, and it seems
- 48:55Speaker 1: to be going on every Sunday. You're running up and
- 48:57Speaker 1: down the aisle and you're shouting all over the place.
- 48:59Speaker 1: And if me, I've been singled out about my shouting,
- 49:04Speaker 1: is that what you're saying, wellever Dindy is distracting man,
- 49:07Speaker 1: You're distracting everyone from getting the word and listen to
- 49:10Speaker 1: the word and being involved in the service. And that's
- 49:13Speaker 1: the purpose of the call is to see if we
- 49:15Speaker 1: can get you to tone it down something. Okay, So
- 49:17Speaker 1: the whole church is complaining about me shouting the way
- 49:20Speaker 1: people run up and down them off every Sunday and
- 49:23Speaker 1: almost playing cart wheels and flips, and they're singling me,
- 49:26Speaker 1: I complained about me. Well, ma'am, I don't know how
- 49:30Speaker 1: it is that you can see everybody else doing cart
- 49:32Speaker 1: wheels when you're the ones that they say you're the
- 49:34Speaker 1: one that's doing them. Am I being singled out? Man?
- 49:38Speaker 1: All I'm saying is that they're saying that you're doing
- 49:40Speaker 1: too much shouting and too much running at this church. Now,
- 49:43Speaker 1: I'm just the message. But they can't tell me how
- 49:46Speaker 1: to shout. They don't. They can't tell me what's going
- 49:48Speaker 1: on in my life, what's gonna keep me from praising God?
- 49:51Speaker 1: And they, I mean, they could just they could go
- 49:53Speaker 1: somewhere else with that, but they're not gonna tell me
- 49:55Speaker 1: that I can't praise my God. They don't know how
- 49:58Speaker 1: good God has been to me. And you know what,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I understand that I agree with you wholeheartedly, but it's
- 50:03Speaker 1: becoming a distraction. I mean, they was at the point
- 50:06Speaker 1: last night talking about should we put some seatbelts on
- 50:09Speaker 1: the pews so so you can stay down seat high.
- 50:13Speaker 1: They gonna tell people they can't shout in church, embrace God.
- 50:16Speaker 1: What do we call the church for? Well? You do
- 50:18Speaker 1: come to We need to be trying to plaise God
- 50:20Speaker 1: and get they all shout on and stop looking at me?
- 50:22Speaker 1: And what about what I'm doing. We're gonna need you
- 50:24Speaker 1: to quit running up and down these aisles and doing
- 50:27Speaker 1: what I'm sorry, you know, I'm trying to stay calm.
- 50:30Speaker 1: I'm trying my best. Jesus sure that that's not happy.
- 50:36Speaker 1: You can't tell me I gotta stop shouting, okay, man,
- 50:39Speaker 1: But let me ask you. Are you running now? Aren't
- 50:41Speaker 1: you just standing still? Talking? But I don't have to
- 50:43Speaker 1: run right now? Okay, What I'm trying to get you
- 50:46Speaker 1: to do, Like if I want to run up and
- 50:48Speaker 1: down this street right now, I can run up and
- 50:49Speaker 1: down the street and place God. But they're not gonna
- 50:51Speaker 1: tell me to stop shouting at church. Can we get
- 50:53Speaker 1: you to be a little bit more reserved as what
- 50:55Speaker 1: we see? Man, let me let me go ahead and
- 50:57Speaker 1: go further on what they do the spirit moves. Okay, Well,
- 51:02Speaker 1: let me move and tell you what they've told me. Now.
- 51:06Speaker 1: If we can't get to the point where you can,
- 51:08Speaker 1: you know, tone it down, then we may have to
- 51:11Speaker 1: ask you to leave. Ask me, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, you
- 51:18Speaker 1: let them ask me. Why don't they want me to
- 51:20Speaker 1: leave the church. I've been at that church for sixteen years.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I'm not leaving the church. I'm gonna run up and down.
- 51:26Speaker 1: I'm not gonna run on the church, even where I
- 51:31Speaker 1: feel like not not not not not Listen, that's all.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I'm okay, go ahead, I'm gonna be there. I'm going
- 51:37Speaker 1: to I am going to be there on Sunday. Man,
- 51:40Speaker 1: and I have been the person that's been appointed to
- 51:43Speaker 1: make sure that you're not running up and down these
- 51:45Speaker 1: outs and shotting like this. You're got to keep yourself
- 51:47Speaker 1: reserved so people can hear the word of God. You
- 51:50Speaker 1: are standing in people's word. That's what you're doing. You're
- 51:52Speaker 1: in the whale. If they come trying to send me down,
- 51:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him a word and ain't gonna be
- 51:57Speaker 1: your God hands up on me here, Listen. I'm telling
- 52:01Speaker 1: you that now you could that I haven't been in
- 52:03Speaker 1: that church fifteen years. If I want to run, damn shout, jump,
- 52:07Speaker 1: whatever I want to do, I'm gonna doing it. Ain't
- 52:10Speaker 1: nobody gonna stop me. You're gonna have to stop this.
- 52:12Speaker 1: This past Sunday was your last Sunday doing it, and
- 52:15Speaker 1: you're not going to do with this sney like I said,

- 52:23Speaker 1: all asked you want to tell let him put their
- 52:25Speaker 1: hands on me and see if I don't sling on them,
- 52:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna go run about the spirit and sling on
- 52:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you that now because he said you don't
- 52:31Speaker 1: really pushed me that I have tried. I just tried.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Let me ask you this here where you're trying to
- 52:37Speaker 1: show that I'm saying and remember, but you make it
- 52:39Speaker 1: you if you're making me reverted back to my own
- 52:41Speaker 1: ways and you you really gonna me off, that's what
- 52:44Speaker 1: you're gonna do. Okay, Well, let me ask you this,

- 52:53Speaker 1: you had fun to tell, you know, me calling me
- 52:54Speaker 1: with this polishness. But now you can make the other
- 52:57Speaker 1: side of me rose up. Well, you wouldn't raised it up,

- 57:01Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter alright. Subject, my husband is
- 57:07Speaker 1: a whimp. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for five years,
- 57:11Speaker 1: but my husband is missing a pea. He provides for
- 57:15Speaker 1: the family, and he professes his love for me, but
- 57:18Speaker 1: he does not protect me like he should. Last month,
- 57:23Speaker 1: a neighbor yelled at our son for going into his
- 57:26Speaker 1: yard to get a ball. My husband and I went
- 57:28Speaker 1: outside to see what was going on. I politely asked
- 57:32Speaker 1: the neighbor not to yell at our child, and he
- 57:35Speaker 1: began to yell and curse at me. I told my
- 57:38Speaker 1: child to go inside so we could deal with the situation.
- 57:41Speaker 1: My conversation with this man got heated, and he was
- 57:44Speaker 1: using every curse word that he could think of. My
- 57:47Speaker 1: husband stood there and didn't say a word. I continued
- 57:51Speaker 1: to argue with the neighbor, and the crazy man lunged
- 57:54Speaker 1: at me like he was going to hit me, but
- 57:56Speaker 1: he missed. I turned towards my husband because I you,
- 58:00Speaker 1: I just knew he was about to step up and
- 58:03Speaker 1: deal with this man. To my surprise, my husband was
- 58:07Speaker 1: running back towards our front door and to and told
- 58:11Speaker 1: me I needed to get in the house immediately and
- 58:14Speaker 1: leave the neighbor alone. I was so outdone. The neighbor
- 58:19Speaker 1: laughed in my face and called my husband a little b.
- 58:23Speaker 1: I was seeming mad at my husband, and I asked
- 58:26Speaker 1: him how he could just leave me like that. He
- 58:29Speaker 1: said he was going in the house to call the police.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Since then, I've lost a lot of respect for my husband.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I can't be with a man that doesn't make me
- 58:37Speaker 1: feel safe and secure at all times. I never would
- 58:41Speaker 1: have married him if I had known this. My neighbor
- 58:44Speaker 1: is right, he is a little b. So how do
- 58:46Speaker 1: I get past this? Well, first of all, I don't know, because, um,
- 58:50Speaker 1: this letter is wrong and crazy on so many levels.
- 58:54Speaker 1: First of all, the neighbors should not have been yelling
- 58:56Speaker 1: at your child. You were absolutely right. You and your
- 58:59Speaker 1: husband absolute lee right for going out there and and
- 59:01Speaker 1: letting him have it. Okay, well, you anyway, not your husband.
- 59:05Speaker 1: But let me get this straight. You turned around and
- 59:08Speaker 1: your husband was running back to the house without you. Huh.
- 59:15Speaker 1: That is It's just crazy, That's all I can tell you.
- 59:20Speaker 1: I don't get where your husband was coming from with this. Yeah,
- 59:23Speaker 1: he definitely left you out there, and he certainly shouldn't have.
- 59:26Speaker 1: He should have never just stood there while the neighbor
- 59:29Speaker 1: was disrespecting you like that and yelling at your son.
- 59:32Speaker 1: He should have stepped up like a real man, and uh,
- 59:36Speaker 1: he could have shut it down. He could have just
- 59:38Speaker 1: you know, stepped in, Uh, took over the situation, checked
- 59:41Speaker 1: the neighbor for talking to you crazy, for lung lunging
- 59:45Speaker 1: at you and almost hitting you. Uh, even if he
- 59:48Speaker 1: didn't want to argue with the neighbor, but I don't
- 59:50Speaker 1: see how he didn't want to at this point after yelling,
- 59:54Speaker 1: yelling at his son and lunging at you, he should
- 59:57Speaker 1: have taken you inside with him then called the police,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: or or how about this, how about this? He could
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: have whipped the neighbors behind that right then and there.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: All right, It seems like you would have preferred that,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: and I think people listening to the show and listening
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: to this letter would have preferred that as well. So
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you need to have a serious come to Jesus meeting
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: with your man and tell him that that was unacceptable.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: He needs to step up or step out. Harpo, Who
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: who is this man? That I'm married to. Come on now, yeah,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: all right, come on, that's okay. Let me just say this.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: First of all, there have been set down, all they
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: have been rules. They've already set this boy. No, that
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: ball not supposed going there, Damn y'all. He'd been told
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: several damn times, don't put the ball in the man's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: in the next thing, neighbor, John, don't do it. What
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: are you go out there and dude, put the ball
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: in the man? Yad? Not a wife go out there
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: arguing with the man with the ball supposed to be
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: in a yard in the first damn plate. You got
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: two wrongs right here already already, Shirley. First of all,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: all men ain't fighters. Oh man, for yourself, Chase, I'm
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: one of them. I'm a trash talker, I'm a compedient.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a quick joke. And then if
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: he if your husband take his ass in the house,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you should have followed. The Bible says woman should follow
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the man the man. The man went in the house,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: he said, I'm still with it. Don't need me get
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: my ass by in front of my son and my wife.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Now I'm missing days from work. I'm going the house.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: You are crazy right now, that man yelled at your
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: son and your wife. Here's what happened. I get an ass,

- 1:04:03Speaker 1: are back. We're in the middle of the Strawberry letter,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the subject my husband is a whimp. Let's recap for you.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: A young lady rode in. She's been married for five years.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Her husband, she says, is missing a p What is
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: that P? Well, he provides for the family, He professes
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: his love for the family, but she does not feel
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: protected by her husband. And here's wife. Last month, the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: neighbor yelled at her son because her son's ball got
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: into his yard, so she and her husband went outside
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to see what was going on. She said, she politely
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: asked the neighbor not to yell at her child, and
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: he began to curse her out. The neighbor did, uh. Well,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: you know, they got into a to a heated argument.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: The neighbor lunged at her, almost hit her. Uh. They're
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: cursing back and forth. The husband's just standing there and
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: then she turns around. The husband doesn't say a word.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: She turns around and sees her husband running back to
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: the house, and she's like, what's going on? Where are
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: you going? He says he's going inside to call the police.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: All right. Uh. The neighbor laughed in her face, called
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: her husband a little b. Now the wife is upset,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: She's steaming mad with her husband. She's asking him how
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: could he leave her like that? She's saying she lost
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: a lot of respect for a husband. She wants to
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: feel safe and secure with this man at all times,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: and she never would have married him if she'd known him. This,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Uh is the neighbor right? Is her husband a little b?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: So how does she get past this? I mean I
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: gave her several options. I told her that her husband
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: could have gone over there, checked the neighbor for talking
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: to her crazy, for lunging at her, and if the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: man didn't want to argue her husband. He could have, um,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: you know, clearly taken her inside with him, not run
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: away and then call the police, or he could have,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you know, commenced a whipping. The neighbors behind. Jay, on
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: the other hand, said the neighbor looked bigger than him,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: and when he when the wife saw her husband running
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: in the house, she should have run right behind him.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Because Jay is a trash talker and he's a lover,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: not a fighter. I'm not a fighter, yeah, all right,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: so tell me it's on you, all right. You know, Normally,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: normally I want to have fun and act a food
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: with the letter because that's what I do. This one
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: actually bothers me because this is family, and this is
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: this is your wife, and this is your son out there,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: and you leaving your family hanging and you running inside.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: You you didn't punked out on your kid. You didn't
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: punked out on your You actually wear the panties in
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: the family. That's what you do. Man, This is not
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: good if you can't, if you're not a fighter, and
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: that's not what you do. Because personally y'all already know me,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: we'd have been fighting in the front yard. But if
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: that's not who you are, if you're not a fight.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: The first thing first, get your family in the house
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: and make sure they safe. Then come back out here
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: and have to try to have a civil conversation with
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: this man. So y'all don't have this problem no more.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: All of this behind a ball going in the yard
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: is really really stupid. But you gotta make sure your
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: family is straight to the wife me personally. You need
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to sit to your husband down. Y'all need to have
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: a talk, because what happens when next time that there's
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: an altercation somewhere, not necessarily next door, but anywhere. You
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: gotta you gotta be assured that your man gonna stand
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: up and make sure that the family is okay. And
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: that's not what's happening right here. So I understand you
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: being in a situation where you're like, you don't know
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: what to do, and I get it. You gotta have
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: a talk with your man. He got a man up.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: But once you called me the little be, we're gonna
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: make a U turn. I got to come back the
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: little bee pulls me back at the house. Yeah, okay,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: but I'm making sure my son is in the house.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I'm making sure my wife is in the house. A
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: matter of fact, once you learned that my wife it's
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: a rap. When it's a rap, dude, you're not gonna
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: my wife. You're gonna here a woman too. And as women,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: you know, besides love and commitment and all that, the
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: reason we got married is for security. We want to
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: feel safe. We want to feel secure, you know, with
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: her husband, protecting protection is a big part of it,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: all right, So you need to know that. And he
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: did not handle that situation. Well, uh, you know, you're right.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Everyone is in a fighter like like Ja said in
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: his humorous way, everyone isn't a fighter. And if you're not,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: take your woman inside with you. Don't leave her outside
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: to to argue with the neighbor man. We would, we would.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Here's caught something real quick to tell y'all. We were
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: in the Bahamas. Y'all know. We went to the Bahama
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: a few weeks ago, right, take the kids on vacation.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: One of you got lifeguards is telling everybody to get
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: out of the lazy ripple. And I said, okay, can
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: we go back to where where we started? Though? We
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: can be by things where we got where we went
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: in at and this say, this is where y'all went
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: in and I said, no, man, this is not where
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: we went in. And then he started arguing with my
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: wife's and my wife is gone, like this is where
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: we went on. Then I took over and then she
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: immediately let me know because she saw me going to
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: another level. Hey, hey, your kids here, your kids, you
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: on your way, you on your way to another level.
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Let's stop. This is not that sick. We will walk
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: around so you know, she always has the real me back.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: It's not you know, but but and that's the way
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: it should be. It shouldn't be that your wife by
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: here being the man at the house. That makes no sense. Yeah, absolutely,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: yeah that's but that's one way. But when you see that,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: you're not gonna win this fight. Take your glass in
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the house. She saw him leave. Why she's still arguing
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: with this man me. Okay, So so Jake, you're gonna
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: be the neighbor and I'll be a couple. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: can I be stupid? No? Girls, can I be stupid? Okay?
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: What the hell is damn ball doing in my yard? Again? Uh? Uh?
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Well no, you don't drop us like that everywhere you here,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: You get your ball out, take your little pucks on
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: the go in the house. Tops that. That's just the baby. Baby, baby, baby, Okay, baby,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: I'm going in the house. You better go in the house.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Take your baby. You're standing that you won't do. I'm
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: in the house. You're little old, bi, You're little old.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Be in the house. You're a little old big. Yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in the house. I'm gonna be a
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: big in the house. Baby, Come on in here. Take
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: your napper head wife in the house. All of that,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: all of that, We're gonna be in the house. And
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: let me do some boy. If that ball ever go
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: in that yard again, I'm gonna beat your ass. I'm

- 1:20:46Speaker 1: But anyway, each day we would have a meeting, you know,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: a meeting with everybody would meet. We had to meet
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: every right, so if it if it did, if the
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: relationship did not go good that day, to say the
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: night before in the meeting, it's hard to be in
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: the meeting when somebody is mean at you. You know
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: what I'm talking about, loser and you and whenever you
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: say something in the media, I love that. Yeah, they
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: don't they don't work out. Well, what's the thing about company? Yeah, yeah,

- 1:21:52Speaker 1: totally lived and it was not good. I ended up
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: as manager for the job that I worked at and
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: we're kind of got together. But it was supposed to
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: be you know, it's strictly and this is not going
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: any further. This is what did it is. But he
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: started expecting me to like do extra stuff for him
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: in the office, like if he's late, covered up and
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: give it more hours. When he was Yes, he worked
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: under me, so he was always under you. How long
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: did it go on? Um? It was about seven months
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: and then I ended up having to fire him. Office
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: won't the reason? What reason did you give for firing him?
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Because he won? He was really like taking advantage. He
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: would come in late and be like, but you know,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: you got to look out for me because you know,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: we were messing around. But he wasn't. He just wasn't
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: performing like he was supposed to at work as an employee.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Out of the office though. Was he performing out of
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: the office? Yeah, if I could give him a rage
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: based on that performance, you gave him a rag? Shut up?
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Oh you know what? Just just to sum up from yesterday,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: the question was, uh, have you done it at the office?
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Did y'all do it at the office? Oh no, we
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: didn't do it, not you. Jack was about him, baby
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: baby girl. Did y'all do whatever we did in my office?
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: It was okay, but I ended up having to fire him,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: and he wasn't happy yet it got really ugly. Did
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: we get one last one in before you? That's a
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: good one time? What you gotta get one to go?
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: You gotta get a good bye. But I told him
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: before we got before you came to work. I told
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: him that night that I found him, that I was
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: gonna have to fire him. Oh you told him the
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: night before. As we laying there, that's called severance, booty.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: As we lay in there, he was good, ready to leave,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: and I told, like, you know, I don't gonna have
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to fire you. What Brandon is a bad girl? After
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: I put on a stella performance, fire anyway? All right, well, okay, well,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: thank you Brandon. Let's try and get to another car.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Line five has Tiffany Tommy. Let's try Tiffany. Hey, hey, baby,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: we got about thirty seconds. Give it to us. Okay,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: let me make it real quick. So I was messing
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: with this old guy at my job. He was about
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: seventeen years older than me. We had dip off in
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: room two four to two in the hospital. We had
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: our little bathroom s. Then it went real bad. But
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: at last and for four years, um come to sign
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: out his girlfriend worked there. I never knew. I asked
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: him about he lab but it was so good I
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: kept on doing it. So then before he got married,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: he asked me, um, what I've been with him? And
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: I told him no. So he went on and married
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: up and it just ended a couple of years ago.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: Oh wow, Well listen, coming up in twenty after the hour,

- 1:25:55Speaker 1: did it get? Has to start somewhere right, How did
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: it go? Did did you guys break up? Are you
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: still together? What happened? We want to know all that.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Eight seven I hear you know? What? Uh? What? What happened?
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: All right? Let's go to line six, Tommy and talk
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: to Alexander. Alexander, Hey, hey, good morning, good morning. How
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you doing today? We're good, We're good. Let's hear it. Man. Well,
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: let me tell you. I was a young man at
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: the time, and I had moved from New York down south,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: and I had met this gorgeous female. I mean, she
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: was gorgeous, and she was looking at me and I
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: was like, whoa, you know what I mean, because now
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: I'm not saying I was I was a bad looking person,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: but I'm I'm telling your average person. So you know,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: she said all the right things, did all the right things,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: and we hung out, we did everything, and then all
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: of a sudden, just childing and lost her. Man. It
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: was like everything I said, even if it was right,
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: it was wrong, you know. So I mean if the
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: boss said, you know what, hey, Alexander, you know, is
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: the sky blue your sir, sky blue Nomdain's rick, And
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: was like, you know, but no matter whatever reason, I
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: was bad, you know. And then it made me feel like,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: you know, I was less than a person. And I'm like,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: wait a minute, now, all I did was whatever you
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: wanted me to do, you know what, I'm a sudden
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: it was like, yeah, but at the office, you know,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: but when we wasn't at the office, it was features
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: and cream, everything was fun. When when we was at
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: the office, oh my god, you know, it was like
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: I was worst person in the world. And then I'm
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: trying to figure out, you know, hey, why you lose
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: your mind so much. You know, she said, well, I
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: don't want the boss to think that. You know, I'm right.
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: That's the way of playing it all the way. Yeah,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: that was supposed to play the game with act like
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: you right by. You know when when you're a young man,
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: When you're a young man, come on, now, when you
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: first start out and someone like that with you, you
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: don't think that way. You're feeling something wrong, you get out.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: But now so you can't even come that way no more.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: But was up in your feelings? Man? Yeah, I'm not
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie now, you know what
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I mean. But you know, it's like you're trying to
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: be the man, you know what I mean when they're
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: trying to pull you back down. You know you're trying
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: to be cool about it, but you also feel like
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: you punked on it. Youbodbody. You're too long winded for her.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: That's why I seen me talk to you at work.
