- 0:01Speaker 1: So what are we going to be covering today. First up,
- 0:04Speaker 1: it is a big story big tech censorship. Well, now,
- 0:08Speaker 1: Facebook wants you to believe they're all for free speech
- 0:11Speaker 1: and democracy. This is also there is a group of
- 0:14Speaker 1: people that are trying to buy TikTok in this country
- 0:17Speaker 1: before it is quote unquote shut down.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We're going to have that for you in a moment.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Also, then one of the most disturbing and disgusting moments
- 0:26Speaker 1: of the day, former President Jimmy Carter to lie in
- 0:30Speaker 1: state at the US Capital.
- 0:31Speaker 2: And what is the media doing.
- 0:33Speaker 1: The media is doing exactly what you would expect, using
- 0:37Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter's funeral to attack Donald Trump. We've got the
- 0:43Speaker 1: audio and I'm going to play it for you. Now,
- 0:45Speaker 1: let me set up for you the biggest subject, and
- 0:48Speaker 1: that is Facebook coming out saying that they are going
- 0:52Speaker 1: to get back to their roots of free speech and
- 0:56Speaker 1: freedom of speech and democracy and letting the people speak
- 1:00Speaker 1: because it's so important in America. I want to be
- 1:02Speaker 1: very clear about this. I think that Mark Zuckerberg, who
- 1:06Speaker 1: is the founder of Facebook, is just as evil as
- 1:10Speaker 1: he was a week ago, a month ago, or a
- 1:13Speaker 1: year ago. When it comes to coming after and silencing conservatives.
- 1:18Speaker 1: This is not a move and I do not want
- 1:21Speaker 1: you to be bamboozled. And you are going to see politicians,
- 1:24Speaker 1: by the way, that are willing to praise him now
- 1:28Speaker 1: for this move.
- 1:28Speaker 2: And the reason why is because they're hoping that allow.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Them more reach on social media Facebook and what they
- 1:36Speaker 1: did and Instagram when they bought it. What they did,
- 1:40Speaker 1: so that you understand how powerful it was. Not only
- 1:44Speaker 1: did it shut down people's lives and their businesses and
- 1:49Speaker 1: silence them, and this was conservatives that this happened to, but.
- 1:53Speaker 2: It was even bigger than that.
- 1:55Speaker 1: They gave the FBI and the Department of Justice access
- 1:59Speaker 1: to virtually anything you were doing if they asked for
- 2:04Speaker 1: access to it. So they also were not just allowing
- 2:11Speaker 1: you to be spied on without your knowledge. And this
- 2:15Speaker 1: was with all big tech. We learned about this from
- 2:17Speaker 1: the hopefully incoming up BIA director Caspartel found out five
- 2:22Speaker 1: years after the fact that he was being spied on
- 2:25Speaker 1: by the FBI while he was working in the Trump
- 2:28Speaker 1: administration because Google had to disclose it to him five
- 2:31Speaker 1: years later. We exposed that on this show just a
- 2:34Speaker 1: few weeks ago to remind you about the corruption. But
- 2:38Speaker 1: this was also about making sure that conservatives did not
- 2:42Speaker 1: win elections. This is what happens in places like Russia
- 2:47Speaker 1: and in China. By the way, in China they don't
- 2:49Speaker 1: even allow TikTok. Just to put in perspective, and what
- 2:53Speaker 1: did they do. They made sure that right before the election,
- 2:56Speaker 1: and I have the data to prove it just with
- 2:59Speaker 1: my I account alone before this election in twenty twenty
- 3:03Speaker 1: four that before the election, conservatives and their reach were
- 3:07Speaker 1: completely silenced. I could post something before the election there
- 3:12Speaker 1: was great information for you guys, and the chances of
- 3:15Speaker 1: you seeing it were just nonexistent. I could post a
- 3:19Speaker 1: link to a podcast on the of the show right
- 3:23Speaker 1: before the election, when clearly people were running political content
- 3:27Speaker 1: and on some days it may only be seen by
- 3:30Speaker 1: a couple hundred people.
- 3:32Speaker 2: This was well over a million followers.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They weren't just tipping the scales, they were trying to
- 3:39Speaker 1: rig elections. Let me say that again. Not only was
- 3:43Speaker 1: Facebook and Instagram trying to tip the scales, and Google
- 3:47Speaker 1: and TikTok, they were trying to sway elections. They were
- 3:52Speaker 1: trying to fix elections. They also boosted content that came
- 3:58Speaker 1: from the left. So if they're was propaganda or COVID propaganda.
- 4:04Speaker 2: What did they do? They boosted it.
- 4:06Speaker 1: And if you put something up there that Fauci didn't like,
- 4:09Speaker 1: what did Anthony Founci do.
- 4:11Speaker 2: This is a fact.
- 4:12Speaker 1: He would send emails to Facebook to make sure that
- 4:16Speaker 1: certain accounts were shut off or silenced, our posts were
- 4:20Speaker 1: taken down. And then the most disturbing part of all
- 4:23Speaker 1: about free speech, and that is the part I want
- 4:26Speaker 1: you to really understand, is that Facebook to implement the
- 4:31Speaker 1: silencing of people just like you. And that's why I'm
- 4:33Speaker 1: saying today, do not get excited, because they're going to
- 4:36Speaker 1: do it again as soon as they can. This is
- 4:38Speaker 1: only a mood because Donald Trump and the Republicans are
- 4:41Speaker 1: in charge of the House to send it in the
- 4:42Speaker 1: White House, and they're hedging their bets. This is not authentic,
- 4:46Speaker 1: it is not real, and they will do this again.
- 4:49Speaker 1: They use what they called fact checkers. Now, let's go
- 4:54Speaker 1: through how fact checkers worked the left and Facebook. They
- 5:00Speaker 1: they hired, as they described it, fact checkers that would
- 5:03Speaker 1: fact check things that you would put up on social media.
- 5:07Speaker 1: And if you put up something they didn't like, they
- 5:10Speaker 1: could take it down. They could limit your reach, they
- 5:13Speaker 1: could shut down your account altogether. And that is exactly
- 5:16Speaker 1: what they did to harass conservatives just like me. They
- 5:20Speaker 1: went back years when I got on a list after
- 5:24Speaker 1: a liberal group called Media Matters came after me. Media
- 5:28Speaker 1: Matters went after conservatives that they were threatened by, that
- 5:32Speaker 1: had significant influence. And what they did was they started
- 5:36Speaker 1: writing a hit pieces on these conservatives.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I was one of them.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And then what happened was within hours of me criticizing
- 5:45Speaker 1: Facebook at a conservative political action conference known Seapack, I
- 5:50Speaker 1: was flying home and when I landed after doing that speech,
- 5:55Speaker 1: which clearly someone saw at Facebook, they started going back
- 6:00Speaker 1: years into posts and attacking the posts that I'd put up.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Now, why would they do that? Why would they spend time?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Because that's when they can shut down your reach, which
- 6:11Speaker 1: also means they can shut down.
- 6:14Speaker 2: The power you have with your audience.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It was all about shutting down the power, and that's
- 6:21Speaker 1: what they did. So I had created a business out
- 6:25Speaker 1: of Facebook. I'd played on their platform. I'd help them
- 6:28Speaker 1: grow it. I'd given hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of
- 6:33Speaker 1: thousands of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars in free advertising,
- 6:41Speaker 1: maybe millions to Facebook promoting this platform for years, growing
- 6:46Speaker 1: my audience there, and then one day because I spoke
- 6:49Speaker 1: out against bias at Facebook, they then went in and
- 6:53Speaker 1: they started tagging all of these fact checks to then say, oh,
- 6:56Speaker 1: you've been warned, you've given you've spread missing information and
- 7:01Speaker 1: disinformation and this is a lie and you.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Could appeal it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It didn't matter. You could appeal it with facts. It
- 7:07Speaker 1: didn't matter because once you were in Facebook jail, you
- 7:11Speaker 1: never got your reach back. This is what communists do.
- 7:16Speaker 1: This is, by the way, what Facebook has been doing
- 7:19Speaker 1: for years. This has been happening for years, and now
- 7:25Speaker 1: all of a sudden, out of nowhere, they decide they're
- 7:28Speaker 1: going to put a friend of Donald Trump on the
- 7:30Speaker 1: board of.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Directors of Facebook.
- 7:33Speaker 1: They've decided to put the guy who runs the UFC,
- 7:36Speaker 1: who's a very tight friend and an ally of Donald Trump,
- 7:38Speaker 1: on the board. Why did they do that? To playcate, Hey,
- 7:41Speaker 1: we need direct access to the big man. We want
- 7:43Speaker 1: everybody to get along. We don't want our business to
- 7:45Speaker 1: be hurt. What can we do, all right, Well, throw
- 7:47Speaker 1: that guy.
- 7:48Speaker 2: On the board.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Then they start hiring conservatives that are lobbyists that had
- 7:54Speaker 1: significant power in DC to then quote be lobbyists for Meta,
- 7:59Speaker 1: for the owner or wright metas a company that has
- 8:01Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And then they said, okay, see, we're.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Gonna make some changes like x has We're gonna get
- 8:09Speaker 1: rid out of nowhere because Donald Trump won the election.
- 8:12Speaker 1: We're gonna get rid of the quote fact checkers, and
- 8:16Speaker 1: we're gonna have change how we.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Do our community guidelines.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Now, is this going to be huge for people like
- 8:22Speaker 1: me and you when you're sharing conservative commentary or post
- 8:28Speaker 1: attacking the left, or exposing things like COVID and some
- 8:32Speaker 1: of the lies they are being given in theory?
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yes?
- 8:36Speaker 2: Am I excited about it?
- 8:38Speaker 4: No?
- 8:39Speaker 1: Because I know they can turn this on or off
- 8:42Speaker 1: whenever politically they need to. So let's play for you
- 8:48Speaker 1: what Zuckerberg says. He comes out, Trump wins, He realizes
- 8:54Speaker 1: he's in real trouble with his company because of what
- 8:57Speaker 1: they've done. He doesn't want there to be investigas. He
- 9:01Speaker 1: does not, okay, want there to be major government moves
- 9:06Speaker 1: against his company. So instead of dealing with that, they've
- 9:11Speaker 1: decided to preemptively do.
- 9:13Speaker 2: What he's done, which is good news.
- 9:16Speaker 1: We're going back to our roots, We're going back to
- 9:20Speaker 1: free speech.
- 9:20Speaker 2: And I'm gonna say it again.
- 9:21Speaker 1: No, they're not. They're not going back to their roots.
- 9:25Speaker 1: They're not going back to free speech. All they've understood
- 9:28Speaker 1: is the side of this, which is right now, this
- 9:31Speaker 1: is bad for business because Trump is in charge and
- 9:35Speaker 1: everyone that we've been silencing. We need to let out
- 9:37Speaker 1: of Facebook jail and Instagram jail and let them put
- 9:41Speaker 1: stuff up there on the internet because if we don't.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Then they're gonna come for us.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Okay, now, let's get some of their allies, throw them
- 9:50Speaker 1: on our board. Let's play the song and dance the
- 9:53Speaker 1: right way, and then we will live another day to
- 9:56Speaker 1: silence and censor conservatives down the road.
- 9:59Speaker 2: That is the the only reason why Zuckerberg is doing
- 10:02Speaker 2: this move. It is not because he believes in free speech.
- 10:05Speaker 1: How do we know this because we've witnessed him not
- 10:08Speaker 1: just silencing free speech, but giving access to the federal
- 10:12Speaker 1: government to spy on you and to ruin your business
- 10:17Speaker 1: and people's lives. I want you to understand, in advertising,
- 10:21Speaker 1: when I was running my business on Facebook and growing
- 10:26Speaker 1: the platform, growing their platform, we probably spent an advertising
- 10:31Speaker 1: well over a million dollars on the platform to grow
- 10:36Speaker 1: our business, and then in one day it all disappeared
- 10:40Speaker 1: and we never got it back. There are people that
- 10:43Speaker 1: I know that lives were ruined financially because they built
- 10:48Speaker 1: entire businesses being being conservatives in the movement and grew
- 10:53Speaker 1: to million, two million, three million, fifteen million followers.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And what did Facebook do?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Facebook said, we don't care that you spend money on
- 11:02Speaker 1: our platform. We don't care because we don't like what
- 11:05Speaker 1: you're saying. And so now we're going to silence you
- 11:07Speaker 1: for ever. Listen now to what Mark Zuckerberg said, and
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm going to break in several times to tell you
- 11:17Speaker 1: where he is lying to you.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Hey, everyone, I want to talk about something important today,
- 11:22Speaker 5: because it's time to get back to our roots around
- 11:24Speaker 5: free expression on Facebook and Instagram.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That is a lie. They're not getting back to their roots.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Their roots are communism, their roots are socialism.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Their roots are are.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Trying to fix elections and silence half of the country,
- 11:38Speaker 1: actually the majority of the country that voted for Donald Trump.
- 11:42Speaker 1: If you had anything that had MAGA or Trump or
- 11:45Speaker 1: anything that was anti COVID vaccines or vaccines in general,
- 11:50Speaker 1: or anything they didn't like the government fauci the White House,
- 11:55Speaker 1: they could flag it, send it over and you would
- 11:57Speaker 1: be shut down. They're not getting back to their roots
- 12:00Speaker 1: of free expression, expression and free speech on Facebook and Instagram.
- 12:04Speaker 1: They're just realizing right now the deck is decked against
- 12:07Speaker 1: them for their abuse of power.
- 12:10Speaker 5: I started building social media to give people a voice.
- 12:13Speaker 5: I gave a speech at Georgetown five years ago about
- 12:15Speaker 5: the importance of protecting free expression, and I still believe
- 12:18Speaker 5: this today. But a lot has happened over the last
- 12:21Speaker 5: several years. There's been widespread debate about potential harms from
- 12:25Speaker 5: online content. Governments and legacy media have pushed to censor
- 12:29Speaker 5: more and more.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That is also a lie. Facebook has pushed to censor
- 12:36Speaker 1: more and more. Let me go back to the biggest
- 12:40Speaker 1: example that I can give you. The same guy who's
- 12:43Speaker 1: telling you they're getting back to the roots is the
- 12:45Speaker 1: same guy that made the decision to kick Donald J. Trump,
- 12:48Speaker 1: the President of the United States of America, off of Facebook.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Can we just sit here.
- 12:55Speaker 1: For a moment and remind ourselves that the guy who's
- 13:00Speaker 1: telling you he's getting back to his roots is the
- 13:03Speaker 1: same guy. After January the sixth of twenty twenty one,
- 13:09Speaker 1: the company turned off the sitting president of the United
- 13:13Speaker 1: States of America's account and you want me to believe
- 13:18Speaker 1: that they're a free speech company getting back to their roots.
- 13:22Speaker 2: They are still Kamis, folks.
- 13:25Speaker 1: The only thing that changed is Trump didn't lose this election.
- 13:29Speaker 5: He woned A lot of this is clearly political, but
- 13:32Speaker 5: there's also a lot of legitimately bad stuff out there. Drugs, terrorism,
- 13:37Speaker 5: child exploitation. These are things that we take very seriously
- 13:40Speaker 5: and I want to make sure that we handle responsibly.
- 13:43Speaker 5: So we built a lot of complex systems to moderate content.
- 13:46Speaker 5: But the problem with complex systems is they make mistakes.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Even if they accidentally censored just one percent of posts,
- 13:53Speaker 5: that's millions of people. And we've reached a point where
- 13:56Speaker 5: it's just too many mistakes and too much censorship.
- 13:59Speaker 2: That so lie it's not too many mistakes and too
- 14:02Speaker 2: much censorship.
- 14:03Speaker 1: You guys were doing everything that you're now saying is
- 14:06Speaker 1: evil literally twenty days ago, thirty days ago, forty days ago,
- 14:12Speaker 1: fifty days ago. And you've been doing it since you
- 14:15Speaker 1: made that speech at Georgetown, but you've only been doing
- 14:19Speaker 1: it towards conservatives. You've only been doing it towards people
- 14:23Speaker 1: like me and many of you that listened to this show.
- 14:28Speaker 1: They were not censoring Joe Biden. They were not censoring
- 14:32Speaker 1: ancient Anthony Fauci. These are the same scumbags that censored
- 14:37Speaker 1: in silenced anyone who tried to share the Hunter Biden
- 14:43Speaker 1: laptop story when it came out before the election in
- 14:46Speaker 1: two thy and sixteen. These people are communists, They've always
- 14:52Speaker 1: been communists, and this is not something to be impressed by.
- 14:58Speaker 2: And I'm gonna say it again.
- 14:59Speaker 1: You're gonna say a lot of conservatives come out and
- 15:02Speaker 1: they're gonna say this is a great step in the
- 15:03Speaker 1: right direction, and they're gonna they're gonna not want you
- 15:06Speaker 1: to remember anything that.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I just told you. So let me just be clear.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Best case scenario, I am temporarily let out of jail
- 15:16Speaker 1: in big text world, and I do believe that this
- 15:18Speaker 1: is nothing more than temporarily being let out of jail.
- 15:24Speaker 2: This is not real. It is temporary. Could it last
- 15:27Speaker 2: two years?
- 15:28Speaker 1: And the Democrats gain control of the House to send
- 15:30Speaker 1: it and they go, all right, screw it, let's flip it. Absolutely,
- 15:34Speaker 1: are they lying to you right now? Then they tell
- 15:36Speaker 1: you that they that this is something that they believe in.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yes, they are lying to you. They do not believe
- 15:41Speaker 2: in this.
- 15:42Speaker 1: They never have believed in this, and they never will
- 15:43Speaker 1: believe in free speech.
- 15:45Speaker 2: They never ever will.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And when Zuckerberg sits there says, what it's just too
- 15:50Speaker 1: much censorship, then why.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Were you doing it the day of the election.
- 15:55Speaker 5: This year, the recent elections also feel like a cultural
- 15:59Speaker 5: tipping point towards once again prioritizing speech. So we're gonna
- 16:02Speaker 5: get back to our roots and focus on reducing mistakes,
- 16:06Speaker 5: simplifying our policies, and restoring free expression on our platforms.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So they're admitting with these changes that we have targeted Americans.
- 16:16Speaker 1: We have targeted you, we have targeted what you've posted.
- 16:20Speaker 1: We've allowed the government to spy on you, to read
- 16:23Speaker 1: your messages, and to infiltrate the conservative community. And even
- 16:28Speaker 1: if you're not a conservative, if you're just saying something
- 16:31Speaker 1: that people on the left don't like, and this goes
- 16:35Speaker 1: back to COVID nineteen, you will have your account suspended
- 16:38Speaker 1: and shut down. And if you are the sitting president
- 16:42Speaker 1: of the United States of America who just lost an election,
- 16:45Speaker 1: will shut down your account as well.
- 16:47Speaker 2: That is what they did to Donald J. Trump.
- 16:50Speaker 1: All of this is a lie, all of this is
- 16:54Speaker 1: a ploy, all of this is political bs One of
- 17:00Speaker 1: this is real and it is all temporary, and if
- 17:04Speaker 1: people in Congress don't realize this, then they are idiots.
- 17:09Speaker 1: All right, I want to move to Jimmy Carter for
- 17:12Speaker 1: a second, and look, I would love, and I mean
- 17:15Speaker 1: this so sincerely, for there to be a moment to
- 17:21Speaker 1: just honor Jimmy Carter in general, and for it not
- 17:24Speaker 1: to be so political, Like I would love to come
- 17:27Speaker 1: on here and not have to remind you of how
- 17:30Speaker 1: big of a disaster Jimmy Carter was. And then some
- 17:34Speaker 1: of you that are pessimists are gonna be back with then, Ben,
- 17:36Speaker 1: why did you just say he was a disaster? Well,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I'm going to explain that it is because the media
- 17:42Speaker 1: is using the death of Jenny Carter to try to
- 17:44Speaker 1: score political points against Donald Trump. As he was big,
- 17:50Speaker 1: his body was being brought to Washington, d c.
- 17:52Speaker 2: To Lane State in the rotunda.
- 17:54Speaker 1: The media is trying to use this moment to attack Trump,
- 17:59Speaker 1: to demean Trump, to say, well, you know, Donald Trump
- 18:05Speaker 1: is just so different than Jimmy Carter was implying to
- 18:10Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter with some amazing statesman. Let me be clear,
- 18:13Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter not only wrecked the American economy and had
- 18:17Speaker 1: interest rates at twelve, fifteen, eighteen percent on homes for
- 18:22Speaker 1: goodness sakes while he was in office. But we also
- 18:24Speaker 1: had lines at the gas station, and we had hundreds
- 18:28Speaker 1: of Americans that were held hostage in Iran when they
- 18:32Speaker 1: went into our embassy and took them hostage. And all
- 18:36Speaker 1: of that happened under Jimmy Carter's time. Now again, I
- 18:38Speaker 1: would love to come on the show and just say,
- 18:40Speaker 1: you know, Jimmy Carter's lying in state and da da dah,
- 18:43Speaker 1: move on. But the media is like, all right, how
- 18:45Speaker 1: do we use the death of Jimmy Carter to then
- 18:48Speaker 1: attack Donald Trump? Yeah, these people are sick. Here is
- 18:51Speaker 1: proof of it. Take a listen to this on MSNBC.
- 18:54Speaker 6: There is such a difference in the politics of today,
- 18:58Speaker 6: as difficult as it may have seemed at the time,
- 19:01Speaker 6: and it certainly was. Washington is never an easy place,
- 19:04Speaker 6: has never been an easy place, and Jimmy Carter learned
- 19:07Speaker 6: that the hard way. But I wonder what he would
- 19:11Speaker 6: make of the politics of today. And do you think
- 19:14Speaker 6: that there are echoes of the person he was that
- 19:18Speaker 6: can resonate still today with people going into political life.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Well, obviously Donald Trump does not share Jimmy Carter's view
- 19:31Speaker 3: of the world of the responsibility that a government has
- 19:35Speaker 3: to deal with human suffering. But I think that this
- 19:41Speaker 3: past week's focus upon Jimmy Carter has helped to once
- 19:45Speaker 3: again focus upon the better angels of our nature and
- 19:50Speaker 3: how we can't forget those who would be left behind
- 19:54Speaker 3: unless there was a conscious effort made by our government,
- 19:58Speaker 3: by our people to focus upon that suffering, and not
- 20:03Speaker 3: just here, but all around the world. We're not just
- 20:07Speaker 3: four percent of the world where the moral and political
- 20:11Speaker 3: leader for the whole rest of the planet, and Jimmy
- 20:14Speaker 3: Cotter in his post presidency, tried to make sure that
- 20:17Speaker 3: the whole rest of the world heard that highest aspiration
- 20:23Speaker 3: lifted our gaze to the constellation of possibilities for ourselves,
- 20:28Speaker 3: for our country, and for the rest of the world.
- 20:30Speaker 3: And my hope is that this last week has helped
- 20:33Speaker 3: to inspire more people to dedicate their lives to that agenda.
- 20:37Speaker 1: So, in other words, Donald Trump is a scumbag and
- 20:41Speaker 1: Donald Trump quote does not share Jimmy Carter's view of
- 20:44Speaker 1: the world. And one of the responsibilities that the government
- 20:48Speaker 1: has to deal with is human suffering, and Donald Trump
- 20:52Speaker 1: is going to make you suffer. Those are the words
- 20:55Speaker 1: on MSNBC Whyle they're supposed to be talking about Jimmy Carter.
- 20:57Speaker 1: And I also think it tells you just how bad
- 21:00Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter's legacy was, that this is how they're having
- 21:03Speaker 1: to deal with Jimmy Carter's death to use it to
- 21:06Speaker 1: say we don't have anything we can really stand on.
- 21:08Speaker 1: So let's just say, you know that Donald Trump sucks
- 21:12Speaker 1: and Jimmy Carter was an amazing man, an amazing statesman,
- 21:16Speaker 1: and he's going to be incredible, and that's what we're
- 21:18Speaker 1: gonna say about him. That's what we're going to remember
- 21:20Speaker 1: about him. And everything is better with a guy like
- 21:23Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter in office and a guy and a loser
- 21:26Speaker 1: like Donald.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Trump who is not in office.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Now, let me also just play for you Al Sharpton,
- 21:32Speaker 1: Al Sharpton on TV, and the casket is carrying Jimmy Carter.
- 21:37Speaker 1: It is arriving in that horse drawn wagon to the Capitol.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It's very symbolic. It's a cold day in DC. It's
- 21:48Speaker 1: a very important moment. And what does Al Sharpton tell
- 21:51Speaker 1: us about Jimmy Carter, Well, he tells us Jimmy Carter
- 21:54Speaker 1: is the real deal, not like Donald Trump, right, but
- 21:59Speaker 1: he was the real president.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Jimmy Carter's post presidency can be tied to President Bill
- 22:06Speaker 4: Clinton's Clinton Foundation post presidency work can be connected.
- 22:11Speaker 2: To George W.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Bush's Bush Foundation continuation of pepfar program he launched as president.
- 22:19Speaker 4: The president elect was a post president and for four years.
- 22:22Speaker 4: I'm not cognizant of anything in the spirit of the
- 22:26Speaker 4: Clinton Foundation, the Carter post presidency for the Bush Foundation.
- 22:31Speaker 3: No.
- 22:32Speaker 7: I think that he clearly saw his post presidency as
- 22:37Speaker 7: not the end of his making a contribution. You know,
- 22:41Speaker 7: there's a quote by Mark Twain the two most important
- 22:44Speaker 7: moments in life is to find when you were born
- 22:46Speaker 7: and then why you were born. And I think Jimmy
- 22:49Speaker 7: Carter figured out why he was born. He was born
- 22:52Speaker 7: to serve, and he never stopped serving. And he saw
- 22:56Speaker 7: I think politics as a tool to serve. The quote
- 23:00Speaker 7: from Ryan Holnebel about politics is to get justice in
- 23:04Speaker 7: a sinful world. I think he saw that where he's
- 23:07Speaker 7: very religious, and that was not something he just used
- 23:10Speaker 7: for a campaign. He taught Sunday school till he couldn't
- 23:13Speaker 7: teach it anymore. And the times I'd be around him.
- 23:16Speaker 7: He say, Reverend ale, I see I there was your activism.
- 23:19Speaker 7: How's your ministry? I said, what that is?
- 23:21Speaker 2: President?
- 23:22Speaker 7: He says, how's your prayer life? I mean, he really
- 23:25Speaker 7: believed in what he was doing, and you could feel it.
- 23:29Speaker 7: You know, sometimes you can feel people more than you
- 23:31Speaker 7: can hear them. He was the guy you could feel
- 23:34Speaker 7: was the real deal.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I look, I'm all in favor of saying that some
- 23:38Speaker 1: guy is a great guy, but to use someone's death
- 23:43Speaker 1: to then score political points against Donald Trump, that is
- 23:50Speaker 1: just disgusting. Like talk about what he did, but when
- 23:55Speaker 1: you start doing it in a way that is all about, well,
- 23:59Speaker 1: Donaldnald Trump sucks and Jimmy Carter was amazing, and they're
- 24:03Speaker 1: just different and one was a statesman the other one wasn't.
- 24:07Speaker 1: And to try to use his death to score political
- 24:12Speaker 1: points is just one of those.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Moments where I just roll my eyes.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And even as I'm doing this show right now, like
- 24:18Speaker 1: I'm seeing more and more clips that are going viral
- 24:21Speaker 1: on him, and they're all about trying to say Donald
- 24:26Speaker 1: Trump is no Jimmy Carter.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Let me just say I'm fine with that.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I do not want another Jimmy Carter Jimmy Carter and
- 24:36Speaker 1: Joe Biden are going to go down in history is
- 24:38Speaker 1: two the two worst presidents in the modern political error.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'm talking about that now for the reason and for
- 24:49Speaker 1: one reason only, because they're the ones that try to
- 24:53Speaker 1: politicize this moment. They could have just given him a
- 24:57Speaker 1: nice sendoff. They could have just given him a nice
- 25:00Speaker 1: they They didn't have to turn this into a Trump
- 25:04Speaker 1: bashing moment, which is exactly what they decided to do.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Even Kama Harris and.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Her tribute to President Carter, that what was one where
- 25:15Speaker 1: it was shot after shot that he's amazing and that
- 25:20Speaker 1: he's presidential, and that he was an elder statesman, and
- 25:23Speaker 1: it was all clearly a wink and a nod to
- 25:26Speaker 1: and Donald Trump's coming back into office.
- 25:29Speaker 2: And this guy sucks. I love that he's a disruptor,
- 25:33Speaker 2: and I'm referring to Trump.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I hate that the left and the media decided to
- 25:37Speaker 1: use the passing of Jimmy Carter where they could have
- 25:41Speaker 1: just done a great job talking about a guy that
- 25:45Speaker 1: had a legacy the same way I talked about in
- 25:46Speaker 1: the show. His presidency really wasn't great, but what he
- 25:50Speaker 1: did after he left the presidency actually think is pretty
- 25:53Speaker 1: incredible and and reimagining himself the way that he did
- 25:58Speaker 1: and his commitment to building homes and to a lot
- 26:02Speaker 1: of the other nonprofits that he worked on and did
- 26:05Speaker 1: great things for.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Like, you could have had that moment.
- 26:08Speaker 1: And instead you said, now we're going to go for
- 26:11Speaker 1: hackery here, We're going to use his death member never
- 26:14Speaker 1: let a crisis go to waste, Like that's the Democrat's plan, right,
- 26:18Speaker 1: Never let a crisis go to waste. Never, never let
- 26:22Speaker 1: an opportunity for someone else's bad moment to go to
- 26:27Speaker 1: waste where you can't use it to attack your political opponent.
- 26:31Speaker 1: That's part of their thinking, that's part of their mindset,
- 26:34Speaker 1: that is part of what they believe.
- 26:37Speaker 2: That is sad.
- 26:39Speaker 1: But I also think they used this moment for another reason,
- 26:42Speaker 1: and that was to protect Joe Biden. I think the
- 26:45Speaker 1: timing of his death to be able to attack Trump
- 26:49Speaker 1: and to not have to look at the fact that
- 26:51Speaker 1: the new pulling is out that says that Joe Biden
- 26:54Speaker 1: will go down in history is one of the top
- 26:57Speaker 1: two worst presents in history. This is also a moment
- 27:01Speaker 1: for them to give political cover to Joe Biden. And
- 27:04Speaker 1: I don't think the American people, by the way, are
- 27:05Speaker 1: going to forget who Joe Biden is, that he sold
- 27:08Speaker 1: out the American people to the highest bidder, to the
- 27:11Speaker 1: most corrupt people in the world. I don't believe that
- 27:15Speaker 1: they're going to forget it. I believe the American people
- 27:18Speaker 1: will always remember who Joe Biden, the Biden crime family was,
- 27:22Speaker 1: and that is exactly why the Gallup poll came out
- 27:24Speaker 1: that said Americans to remember Joe Biden as the second
- 27:28Speaker 1: worst president in history.
- 27:32Speaker 2: That's the takeaway.
