- 1:49Speaker 6: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out, you think, Uh huh, I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 2: morning everybody. You are listening to his voice. Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 2: radio show. Uh huh, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah. Man,
- 2:17Speaker 2: oh boy boy boy man. God has been good to me.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I can't even I can't even put it into words, man,
- 2:27Speaker 2: But I try, though, I try, I try, I try.
- 2:30Speaker 2: God does things for me just right on time. He's
- 2:33Speaker 2: so cool with it. And I happened to run across
- 2:38Speaker 2: Joel Oldstein on television like I often do all the time,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and I was sitting there and he had such a
- 2:48Speaker 2: timely message for me. A part of it was something
- 2:51Speaker 2: that I've said oftentimes about if you really really want
- 2:57Speaker 2: to be successful, if you really really want to change,
- 3:01Speaker 2: if you really really want to prosper, if you really
- 3:04Speaker 2: really want to achieve greatness, if you really really want
- 3:07Speaker 2: to have something in life that's worth having, if you
- 3:10Speaker 2: really really want to accomplish your goals, you got to
- 3:13Speaker 2: push through all of it. He said that when you
- 3:18Speaker 2: get closer to it, the more difficult it becomes. Did
- 3:25Speaker 2: you hear me? He said, the closer you get to
- 3:28Speaker 2: what it is you want or you need, or you
- 3:31Speaker 2: have to have or you would love to be, it
- 3:35Speaker 2: gets a little bit more difficult when you get closer.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He told this story that's in the Bible that I'd
- 3:45Speaker 2: never heard before. This is what he said. He said,
- 3:48Speaker 2: there was a man who was paralyzed, and he had
- 3:55Speaker 2: heard that Jesus was speaking at a house, and so
- 4:01Speaker 2: he wanted to get there. So he convinced four of
- 4:04Speaker 2: his friends to put him on a stretcher and carry
- 4:09Speaker 2: him for hours to get to this house where Jesus
- 4:15Speaker 2: was speaking. He said that along the way, these friends
- 4:22Speaker 2: said that they went along because he had so much
- 4:26Speaker 2: faith that if he could just get to him, it
- 4:30Speaker 2: could be better that he could if he could just
- 4:33Speaker 2: get over there and he could see him, that he
- 4:35Speaker 2: might have a shot at getting here. And so he
- 4:38Speaker 2: said they took out along the way, and they walked
- 4:41Speaker 2: and they walked and they walked for hours. And then
- 4:45Speaker 2: when they got there, the house was completely filled with people.
- 4:50Speaker 2: That was absolutely it was packed wall to wall. There
- 4:53Speaker 2: was absolutely no way for the men to get him
- 4:57Speaker 2: on that stretcher in to see Jesus. This is a
- 5:00Speaker 2: story that uh Joe Losting said is in the Bible,
- 5:04Speaker 2: and he was telling it now. I'm just repeating the
- 5:06Speaker 2: parts of it I gathered. And so he said. They
- 5:11Speaker 2: sat there and they went, wow, man, we walked all
- 5:13Speaker 2: this weight and it's full, and and and and and
- 5:17Speaker 2: and and we can't get there, he said. And then
- 5:20Speaker 2: the guy with the affliction told the four men, if
- 5:26Speaker 2: you get up on the roof and cut a hole
- 5:29Speaker 2: in it and lower me down, I bet I could
- 5:34Speaker 2: see him then, and I bet it to be all
- 5:36Speaker 2: right now. He then said, you must imagined how these
- 5:42Speaker 2: four men must have felt when you carry somebody for
- 5:45Speaker 2: hours on on on on on on on the way.
- 5:49Speaker 2: They had to carry some cloth connected by a couple
- 5:51Speaker 2: of sticks, said the me and shoulders had to be bruised,
- 5:55Speaker 2: had to have deep gouges, and them not cuts, but
- 5:59Speaker 2: just indentations where they had carried the weight of this
- 6:02Speaker 2: grown man for so many hours, and they looked at
- 6:04Speaker 2: him in disbelief, like, man, what are you talking about?
- 6:07Speaker 2: We done walked all this far. He said, yeah, but
- 6:09Speaker 2: if you get up on that roof and you cut
- 6:11Speaker 2: a hole in it and lower me down, I can
- 6:16Speaker 2: see him and when he see me, it'll be all right.
- 6:21Speaker 2: After sitting there and imploring the men, they went up
- 6:24Speaker 2: and did just that, And then the story that Joe
- 6:29Speaker 2: Los Dean said, the man was healed. But the point
- 6:33Speaker 2: he was making was he was saying that the closer
- 6:37Speaker 2: you get to what it is you really want, the
- 6:40Speaker 2: more difficult it's going to become. But you've got to
- 6:43Speaker 2: push through. See, if you don't push through, you never know. See,
- 6:47Speaker 2: you can't get right to the answer. And because it
- 6:50Speaker 2: gets really difficult, started creating those little saying that we
- 6:54Speaker 2: got as people. Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I guess it in the Lord's will. Now, man, I
- 7:02Speaker 2: guess you should not give up right now. I guess
- 7:05Speaker 2: you should keep pressing. I guess you should do more,
- 7:08Speaker 2: because see, in all of us, in all of us,
- 7:11Speaker 2: when you've had enough, I want you to know something.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You do have a little bit more in all of us.
- 7:18Speaker 2: You can do one more. You know. That's one of
- 7:21Speaker 2: my favorite things that I heard Joel Oldstein said, and
- 7:24Speaker 2: it kind of made me feel good. He said, I
- 7:28Speaker 2: always feel like I can do one more anything, and
- 7:31Speaker 2: I tell my friends all the time, I can do
- 7:34Speaker 2: one more man, I could do one more day. I
- 7:37Speaker 2: can do one more anything. Now Here was the jewel
- 7:43Speaker 2: that I never really knew that Joel Oldstein and God
- 7:49Speaker 2: sent to me I needed to hear. He said that
- 7:53Speaker 2: no matter what you're going through, no matter how long
- 7:57Speaker 2: the challenge is you've been facing, God has an end
- 8:01Speaker 2: date for it all. Did you hear me? No matter
- 8:05Speaker 2: what you're going through, no matter what challenge you're facing,
- 8:08Speaker 2: no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into, God has
- 8:12Speaker 2: an ending date. All you got to do is keep
- 8:17Speaker 2: pressing forward. All you got to do is hang in there.
- 8:21Speaker 2: All you got to do is don't give up. All
- 8:24Speaker 2: you have to do is don't turn back. There is
- 8:27Speaker 2: an end date for all of it, even when you
- 8:32Speaker 2: think you've had enough. And boy, have I had this
- 8:37Speaker 2: conversation with God on several things that I've been going through,
- 8:42Speaker 2: and I've even told him, look, I got it. Man,
- 8:47Speaker 2: he said, just keep hanging on. There is an end
- 8:51Speaker 2: date to whatever it is you're going through. There's an
- 8:54Speaker 2: end date to your illness, your sickness, your tired of
- 8:58Speaker 2: being tired, as an end date to this relationship that
- 9:03Speaker 2: you can't seem to get through, beyond over that's like
- 9:12Speaker 2: a cancer to you. There's an end date. But you've
- 9:15Speaker 2: got to hang in there. You've got to keep pushing forward.
- 9:20Speaker 2: You cannot turn around. You must not go back, because
- 9:25Speaker 2: when God gets you through this and you break through
- 9:29Speaker 2: to the other side, the reward and the benefit is
- 9:33Speaker 2: far greater than the struggle. I oftentimes look at some
- 9:40Speaker 2: of the things that God has brought me through in
- 9:42Speaker 2: my worst times, and when he brought me through, I went, wow, Man,
- 9:47Speaker 2: now that I understand that, Now that I'm on the
- 9:49Speaker 2: other side and I have the benefit of the reward
- 9:52Speaker 2: for it, would you do it all again to get that? Yes,
- 9:56Speaker 2: I would show ladies and gentlemen. I needed attention. I
- 10:06Speaker 2: don't know when it kicked in that I needed everybody's attention.
- 10:09Speaker 2: It wasn't as a little boy because I was too bashful.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I was, but once I got out of that, you know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I'm tupac all eyes on me. What here I am?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Let's go pop? Yeah, you know, I can't quote too
- 10:24Speaker 2: many people. I'll be hearing people do hip hop debates
- 10:27Speaker 2: all the time, which will lead us probably to a
- 10:29Speaker 2: hip hop quiz this morning because I just wanted to
- 10:33Speaker 2: say something about myself. I stunned the nation with our
- 10:37Speaker 2: last hip hop quiz because I don't you know, I mean,
- 10:41Speaker 2: I got all of them right. I don't even know
- 10:46Speaker 2: how I did it. I don't even know where it
- 10:48Speaker 2: comes from. I am not the one to know much
- 10:52Speaker 2: of anything about hip hop. I've grown to respect the
- 10:55Speaker 2: genre of music as one of the greatest genres of
- 10:58Speaker 2: creative creating more millionaires jobs for us as the people,
- 11:02Speaker 2: and has swept the world and is now global music genre,
- 11:05Speaker 2: the biggest of of all of them right now. But
- 11:09Speaker 2: with that said, I am still a soul man in
- 11:15Speaker 2: my heart, and nothing stirs me like soul music. This
- 11:19Speaker 2: is Steve Harvey Martin Shaw. Why did I go on
- 11:21Speaker 2: that tangent? I don't know, because I don't know. Sharlie
- 11:25Speaker 2: Strawberry calling for real, a Mississippi Monica Junior, a government
- 11:29Speaker 2: named kill Space. We're trying to get him to call
- 11:32Speaker 2: his whole name Killer One, Killer one and the legend
- 11:36Speaker 2: that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:39Speaker 9: You know, unc let me ask you about that because
- 11:41Speaker 9: you know, like you know your soul man to your heart.
- 11:44Speaker 10: But how did you get to know all of this
- 11:46Speaker 10: hip hop?
- 11:47Speaker 6: Like?
- 11:47Speaker 10: Where was you at? How did did you listen? Is
- 11:49Speaker 10: it at hip hop?
- 11:52Speaker 6: Well?
- 11:52Speaker 10: He got all them right?
- 11:54Speaker 2: You get quiet heard saying he got all of them right?
- 11:58Speaker 2: I mean, what what was you doing? I got all
- 12:00Speaker 2: I'm right, y'all. Was trying to get me to praising
- 12:02Speaker 2: him Junior? About him? Who I know? I know a
- 12:11Speaker 2: man who begs for praising, worship everything because I'm from
- 12:18Speaker 2: praise one day this month, audacity or you know, I
- 12:28Speaker 2: just think it's from just exposure. I think I'm I've
- 12:32Speaker 2: been in radio, you know, I'm around a lot of artists,
- 12:37Speaker 2: and I hear stuff. I hear them. You know, all
- 12:39Speaker 2: my kids is hip hop. My kids don't know nothing else. Broderick,
- 12:42Speaker 2: my oldest son, he know all old school music. That's
- 12:47Speaker 2: that's he know it. Like he played the music from
- 12:50Speaker 2: me in my dressing room and all like that. He
- 12:53Speaker 2: picked a song. So, but all the rest of my
- 12:55Speaker 2: kids are straight hip hop. They get mad when I
- 12:57Speaker 2: walk in the room and say cut it off.
- 12:59Speaker 4: You know, dad, what I'm.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Gonna say, cut it off because it's too loud. And
- 13:06Speaker 2: I heard what he just said too.
- 13:08Speaker 11: But when you played, brother, you got that loud.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Earth the winning fire.
- 13:12Speaker 12: I can't nobody turn that down?
- 13:15Speaker 2: But not youn't. You don't pay for nothing in here
- 13:24Speaker 2: in the room. I walked in and asked you to
- 13:25Speaker 2: turn it down. Paying for that too. Payments, payments has privileges.
- 13:35Speaker 2: All right, all.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Right, Steve, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 1: we'll hear from the nephew. Is he runs that prank
- 13:41Speaker 1: back right after this?
- 13:43Speaker 13: You're listening hard morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:49Speaker 1: prank back. Nephew, What you got for us today?
- 13:52Speaker 6: Ad you not?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Line?
- 13:53Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Church bought me this glove so that I mean feeling power.
- 14:03Speaker 2: The title is God is not through with you yet,
- 14:07Speaker 2: but we are that dog.
- 14:10Speaker 11: If you would.
- 14:13Speaker 6: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach our sister Takara. This
- 14:18Speaker 6: is brother Brinkley from the church. How you doing? Oh?
- 14:21Speaker 15: Hey, how is it's I'm at work? Can I call
- 14:25Speaker 15: you back?
- 14:27Speaker 6: Well? This is this is kind of urgent. I'll call
- 14:30Speaker 6: your your house phone, and I didn't get an answer,
- 14:33Speaker 6: and I had this other number on file, so I
- 14:35Speaker 6: wanted to reach out to you. But what I won't
- 14:37Speaker 6: take long. But it really is a hurt, all right,
- 14:40Speaker 6: that urgent matter? If you don't matter, all right, hold.
- 14:42Speaker 15: On, hold on, let me let me step away from
- 14:45Speaker 15: my tuber.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Hello.
- 14:47Speaker 15: Hello, Brinkley, speak to me.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Okay, we have a bit of a problem here and
- 14:54Speaker 6: we're gonna try to We're trying to clean up a
- 14:56Speaker 6: lot of things here at the church. You know, I
- 14:58Speaker 6: hate to be the one to bring and you some
- 15:00Speaker 6: bad news. Let me just start by by saying that
- 15:04Speaker 6: God might not be through with you, but we are
- 15:08Speaker 6: here at the church. It has been brought to our attention,
- 15:12Speaker 6: Sister Carr that you guys are halfway coming to church,
- 15:15Speaker 6: and you you you might come once once out of
- 15:18Speaker 6: a month. You're not tithing as we expected. You know,
- 15:22Speaker 6: the church can't really depend on you. It's you you
- 15:25Speaker 6: got you know, you bring your kids. I think your
- 15:27Speaker 6: brother comes to the church, but everybody is coming every
- 15:31Speaker 6: now and then. We cannot depend on you all to
- 15:34Speaker 6: be the members and have the expectation of what we're
- 15:37Speaker 6: trying to do what you say.
- 15:41Speaker 16: You say your name is.
- 15:44Speaker 15: Yes, and you work, you work under the I'm sorry,
- 15:49Speaker 15: I've never heard of you before.
- 15:51Speaker 6: I have been officiated by the pastor as I'm over
- 15:54Speaker 6: actually over the finance and we're going through all of
- 15:57Speaker 6: the books and looking at all of the numbers of
- 15:59Speaker 6: the of the members of the church, the directory, and
- 16:02Speaker 6: we're noticing what people are paying tied, what people aren't
- 16:05Speaker 6: paying tied, who's coming to church, who's participating in different
- 16:09Speaker 6: and different uh ministries, and whatnot. And Sister Takar, I
- 16:13Speaker 6: got I have to be honest with you. You you
- 16:15Speaker 6: the hell maybe once every one of someone we might
- 16:19Speaker 6: see you might not see you, you know, and like
- 16:21Speaker 6: I said, God may not be through with you, but
- 16:24Speaker 6: we are.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:26Speaker 15: You can't say that. Listen, Why I don't understand, like,
- 16:31Speaker 15: are y'all monitoring my my my church going like I
- 16:35Speaker 15: can't I have to go every single week.
- 16:38Speaker 6: I mean, why are you absent so much at the church?
- 16:43Speaker 6: Explain that?
- 16:44Speaker 15: I mean, I have three kids, you know, I mean
- 16:47Speaker 15: I have y'all. Sometimes I don't, I mean, I still pray.
- 16:52Speaker 15: I don't understand how a church can.
- 16:55Speaker 6: Are you got two jobs but we're not getting tied.
- 16:58Speaker 6: It's like you got two jobs. You're not tired, and
- 17:01Speaker 6: like you got two jobs.
- 17:02Speaker 15: Because I can't afford you just you just said.
- 17:05Speaker 6: I got two jobs, That's what you just said.
- 17:07Speaker 15: And that those two jobs are in support my kids.
- 17:10Speaker 15: I mean, I can't support the church and my kids
- 17:13Speaker 15: is the same term I can't vote. I mean, I
- 17:15Speaker 15: get when I can.
- 17:17Speaker 6: Let me ask you something. What are you making on
- 17:20Speaker 6: that other job?
- 17:21Speaker 15: Are you serious?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Are you really?
- 17:24Speaker 11: Really?
- 17:25Speaker 15: You really?
- 17:26Speaker 17: I didn't know what the church?
- 17:28Speaker 15: God is this deepuent? You're really asking me how much
- 17:32Speaker 15: I make and my second job did I take to
- 17:35Speaker 15: support my kids?
- 17:37Speaker 2: Come on?
- 17:37Speaker 13: Now?
- 17:37Speaker 15: Did this gotta be something?
- 17:39Speaker 6: This is I'm gonna say this to you again. God
- 17:42Speaker 6: may not be through with you, but we are. If
- 17:47Speaker 6: you are gonna pay your tides, If you're not gonna
- 17:50Speaker 6: come to work on a consistent basis, then what what
- 17:54Speaker 6: do you benefit? The church?
- 17:56Speaker 15: Is that what the church is about? This can't be.
- 17:59Speaker 6: I'm gonna say that. I'm gonna say this to you.
- 18:01Speaker 6: You let me tell you what the church is all
- 18:03Speaker 6: about the church is.
- 18:05Speaker 15: And you say we done with you again?
- 18:08Speaker 16: One more time? I'm serious.
- 18:10Speaker 6: No, I'm gonna tell you this you're talking about, is
- 18:12Speaker 6: that what the church is about? Let me tell you
- 18:13Speaker 6: what the church is. The church is a hospital for
- 18:17Speaker 6: crippled souls. You understand that that's what That's what the
- 18:21Speaker 6: church is. But when when we have souls that are
- 18:24Speaker 6: coming in to be saved, we are doing our job.
- 18:29Speaker 6: And guess what those people that are coming in, you
- 18:31Speaker 6: know what they're doing. They're tithing. That's what they're doing.
- 18:34Speaker 6: They're tithing. You, sister Takara, I'm sure your soul is crippled.
- 18:40Speaker 6: You're not coming and you're not tithing. You may give
- 18:43Speaker 6: us a little some something when you show up if
- 18:46Speaker 6: you show up. Am I right or wrong?
- 18:49Speaker 15: Okay? Let me get what is straights? Is what you
- 18:52Speaker 15: called me for in the middle of my work day
- 18:56Speaker 15: to tell me that you're kicking me out the church
- 18:59Speaker 15: because I don't give it enough money to the church
- 19:02Speaker 15: while I'm at my job that I can very afford
- 19:06Speaker 15: to pay my bills with.
- 19:08Speaker 9: Cause that a fact, I.
- 19:09Speaker 16: Don't even know who you are.
- 19:10Speaker 15: I've never met you in my life, and I don't
- 19:13Speaker 15: know what this church you know?
- 19:15Speaker 16: This church.
- 19:16Speaker 15: I hate to say it, but if that's what the
- 19:18Speaker 15: church is about you had the nerve to call me.
- 19:25Speaker 6: Okay, now let me say something. Now you being very
- 19:29Speaker 6: Unchristian like, now does the card you're gonna watch it
- 19:33Speaker 6: done in your language?
- 19:34Speaker 15: In this is not Christian like?
- 19:36Speaker 6: Well do you do? You know brother Dwyane? Isn't that
- 19:40Speaker 6: your brother?
- 19:42Speaker 17: Okay?
- 19:42Speaker 6: And my brother Dwyane is who told me to call you?
- 19:48Speaker 15: Really?
- 19:48Speaker 6: My brother?
- 19:49Speaker 15: So what?
- 19:50Speaker 6: So?
- 19:50Speaker 15: What is just about?
- 19:51Speaker 6: Hum? Whatever?
- 19:53Speaker 15: I don't know. What is your name?
- 19:55Speaker 6: My name is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Your brother Dwayne got me the brank phone call you.
- 20:04Speaker 15: No mo sho, Oh my gosh, he's about to get
- 20:13Speaker 15: me bye for this job. I'm in the lobby screaming

- 20:57Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour and entertainment
- 20:59Speaker 1: news as Patrick Dempsey is People Magazine's twenty twenty three
- 21:03Speaker 1: Sexiest Man. Alive yusy, yeah yeah, doctor dreamy. Sag actors
- 21:11Speaker 1: strike has ended in Hollywood and they are back to
- 21:14Speaker 1: work from me from usse plus still trending. I might forgive,
- 21:20Speaker 1: but I don't forget. Conversation between Nee Long and Jeezy
- 21:23Speaker 1: Jesus said, real men don't cheat. We'll talk about all
- 21:26Speaker 1: of these stories at the top of the hour, but
- 21:28Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the clo This
- 21:33Speaker 1: is from Carrie in Thousand Oaks.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Carry right.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I saw a few leaves and rose petals on the
- 21:39Speaker 1: floorboard of my husband's car. He said that Tim. Tim
- 21:44Speaker 1: must have had them stuck on a shoe when he
- 21:46Speaker 1: picked him up. I called Tim right in front of him,
- 21:49Speaker 1: and he was clueless. I assume my husband bought flowers
- 21:53Speaker 1: and he's cheating on me. Why won't he prove me wrong?
- 21:57Speaker 11: Wow?
- 21:59Speaker 2: Too, don't understand. Why won't he prove you wrong?
- 22:03Speaker 6: What?
- 22:03Speaker 2: What?
- 22:04Speaker 10: What?
- 22:04Speaker 2: What does he have to prove to you? Okay? She
- 22:09Speaker 2: found rose petals where.
- 22:12Speaker 1: On the floorboard of her husband's car.
- 22:15Speaker 2: On the floorboard of his car. Rose petals, yeah, how
- 22:22Speaker 2: and his dad and some leaves? Because how do that
- 22:27Speaker 2: say cheating?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Because her husband lied about how the rose petals got there.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Probably when Tim was getting in the car, they was
- 22:35Speaker 2: on his foot. Tim ain't know what he was talking
- 22:38Speaker 2: about because Tim wasn't paying attention to what the stuff
- 22:40Speaker 2: was on his foot. I deal with Tim when I
- 22:42Speaker 2: see his ass right now. Yeah, yeah, well, mister clueless
- 22:50Speaker 2: got a problem when I see his ass, know that. Yeah,
- 22:54Speaker 2: I deal with Tim when I see him. And she
- 22:56Speaker 2: gonna call him right in front of her, But how
- 22:58Speaker 2: can she prove him wrong? See the the thing that
- 23:02Speaker 2: she got is she's trying to get her husband to
- 23:05Speaker 2: disprove her theory when all he got to do is
- 23:09Speaker 2: stay clueless to the theory. Baby, I ain't seen no
- 23:14Speaker 2: rose peddl I don't know how they got that. Somebody
- 23:16Speaker 2: could have been could have been getting in the truck
- 23:18Speaker 2: next to me, and and and leaves blew up on
- 23:21Speaker 2: that they leaves? And what are you talking about?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Why didn't he say that at first? Why did he
- 23:26Speaker 1: have to throw Tim in there?
- 23:28Speaker 2: He said, maybe Tim when he was getting in the truck.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You don't know Tim, Tim must have done it.
- 23:37Speaker 2: See you know what, Shirley, People like this lady in
- 23:41Speaker 2: the letter. You don't want to believe your man. You
- 23:45Speaker 2: don't want no relationship. Just gone split up, gone split up,
- 23:50Speaker 2: over the leaves and the rolls. Gonna throw your family,
- 23:54Speaker 2: got home, throw your family out the window. Go ahead,
- 23:57Speaker 2: just go over your whole family. Yes, I deal with
- 24:06Speaker 2: till when I see his ass. Hey, Till, what's up?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Don't with your wife right now?
- 24:12Speaker 5: All right?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Come on, Colo, Lloyd and Ackward says, my six year
- 24:16Speaker 1: old son went to a Halloween party at his classmate's
- 24:19Speaker 1: house and I was totally against it, but his mom
- 24:22Speaker 1: let him go. He's been having nightmare since then because
- 24:26Speaker 1: the dad chased the kids with the chainsaw. Would I
- 24:29Speaker 1: be wrong to go chase the man with a real
- 24:31Speaker 1: chainsaw so he'll he'll be traumatized? Like my boy?
- 24:35Speaker 2: Wow, Well, I don't think you need to go over
- 24:38Speaker 2: that man's house. Boy don't know, Yeah, I got he
- 24:46Speaker 2: scared the boy and the boy you know, yep, that
- 24:52Speaker 2: was stupid, but you know he traumatized. He can't go
- 24:59Speaker 2: to sleep now. I think he called a man and
- 25:02Speaker 2: address it, but it's too late. It's too late now
- 25:07Speaker 2: here's the other kicker though. Every time he get up hollering,
- 25:12Speaker 2: that's mama job now, because you don't want to let
- 25:14Speaker 2: his ass go down there, because I told you so. Now,
- 25:18Speaker 2: since he up all night crying, you get up and
- 25:20Speaker 2: sit with him. You the mama, and you the reason
- 25:24Speaker 2: he down there. Now, brother, you got to be careful
- 25:27Speaker 2: going over this man's house because he didn't just chase
- 25:30Speaker 2: your boy with the Chaine saw. He chased a lot
- 25:33Speaker 2: of kids with the change.
- 25:34Speaker 11: Saw crazy this Halloween.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but you don't take a six year old to
- 25:43Speaker 2: the to the haunted house. That ain't a six year
- 25:46Speaker 2: old wearing costume and go trick or treaty. You don't
- 25:48Speaker 2: take six year old to the haunted house.
- 25:50Speaker 1: What was his classmate?
- 25:51Speaker 2: It was another six year old classmate.
- 25:54Speaker 1: He went to schoolmates Halloween Park.
- 25:58Speaker 12: But I'm saying, though, I think what you don't know
- 26:01Speaker 12: the people though, it's what you're saying to dance.
- 26:03Speaker 11: No, yeah, you know.
- 26:05Speaker 6: What I mean.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Know that's what they're gonna do that. But I'm just
- 26:07Speaker 2: saying the stupid parents that throws a traumatizer to scaredy kids. Yeah,
- 26:14Speaker 2: six child's don't do good with scale because they cried, Yeah,
- 26:18Speaker 2: it's a sick I ain't going to that house, but
- 26:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna find him by because I know if I
- 26:22Speaker 2: go to that house then he may put that chains
- 26:24Speaker 2: on me. Now we both up at night, so but
- 26:26Speaker 2: I wish I get him by itself somewhere. So you
- 26:29Speaker 2: thought I'm gonna let him run me through the house
- 26:31Speaker 2: with chains. Now I can't sleep.
- 26:33Speaker 11: But if I get him out.
- 26:34Speaker 2: For well, you're being ups for a different reason because
- 26:37Speaker 2: you gonna have to stand up because he's gonna cut
- 26:39Speaker 2: your ass off with this.
- 26:45Speaker 1: To Raheema and Savannah, Rahiema writes, my husband emptied his
- 26:51Speaker 1: pockets when he got home, and I saw a cherry
- 26:54Speaker 1: chapstick on the dresser. I asked him about it, and
- 26:57Speaker 1: he said his coworker got it for him because his
- 26:59Speaker 1: lips were Should I go see why my husband's lips
- 27:02Speaker 1: bother her?
- 27:04Speaker 2: What man, y'all ain't got y'all, y'all need to quit
- 27:11Speaker 2: going down here talking to these other people. So other
- 27:16Speaker 2: people didn't take no WED advisus. You got to talk
- 27:20Speaker 2: to the person that said the viws with you. She
- 27:25Speaker 2: brought him the cherry chapstick because she cared about the
- 27:28Speaker 2: way his lips. Look, now, your real problem is why
- 27:35Speaker 2: is the husband so close to where his lips matter.
- 27:41Speaker 2: That's your damn problem. So you're going down there to
- 27:44Speaker 2: see about this woman. Your problem is your husband. It
- 27:48Speaker 2: ain't the woman. She did not walk down the aisle
- 27:52Speaker 2: and say no, vows to you nothing. You have to
- 27:59Speaker 2: dress your chapstick with him. Y'all could talking about going
- 28:02Speaker 2: down there seeing these people. Stupid Tommy gonna go over
- 28:05Speaker 2: this man's house. Y'all down and told you you can't
- 28:14Speaker 2: go over these people house. Man, they got rights. It's
- 28:16Speaker 2: called stand your ground. As soon as you come over
- 28:19Speaker 2: their house, they can open fire on your ass because
- 28:22Speaker 2: they feel like their life was threatening. You know, Tommy
- 28:25Speaker 2: went over the Tommy gonna go over there. Tool whooped
- 28:26Speaker 2: the man. This is his baby because of the baby. Okay,
- 28:31Speaker 2: my boy, They baby gonna be a lot of stuffs.
- 28:34Speaker 2: The baby gonna be scared a bunch of times.
- 28:36Speaker 6: You know.
- 28:36Speaker 2: But then when your daddy is scared of lightning, that
- 28:39Speaker 2: you understand.
- 28:40Speaker 11: Hey, hey, hey, and so.
- 28:44Speaker 1: The ladies shouldn't go down to her husband's job to
- 28:47Speaker 1: find out why the husband job.
- 28:49Speaker 2: You did to talk to your husband about this chapstick
- 28:51Speaker 2: You're gonna go in there and run up on that woman,
- 28:53Speaker 2: and then then when you leave, you gonna need chapstick,
- 28:58Speaker 2: gonna brush you in your mouth. I'm keeping running up
- 29:01Speaker 2: on these people.
- 29:04Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Celo.
- 29:06Speaker 10: We gotta go.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have

- 30:58Speaker 1: so there you go.
- 31:01Speaker 2: You know, sexiest grandfather title. No, they ain't gonna give

- 31:38Speaker 1: Sexy ist, older man. Yeah, all right, there we go
- 31:45Speaker 1: another entertainment.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Categories where I know I can win, like like sexiest
- 31:52Speaker 2: man on TV there's ever been homeless? You know like that?
- 31:56Speaker 18: Wow?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Really just narrowed, no argument, just take everybody else out
- 32:05Speaker 2: to run it.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, okay, all right, so have you guys seen
- 32:10Speaker 1: some of the trending video clips of Me Along and
- 32:13Speaker 1: Jeez from the I Might forgive, but I don't forget conversation. Yeah,
- 32:17Speaker 1: because Jesz sat down with me along Junior for a
- 32:22Speaker 1: vulnerable conversation about their respective divorces and self love. Now,
- 32:26Speaker 1: during the talk, Jez said quote, real men don't cheat.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Take a listen. Got to know when it's time to
- 32:33Speaker 1: be done right.
- 32:35Speaker 14: And that's usually not about another person and affair or
- 32:40Speaker 14: you know some chick that's willing to like make you
- 32:43Speaker 14: feel like a king. Because that's why most men cheat.
- 32:46Speaker 14: Most men cheat because.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Of that's so fascinating to me.
- 32:50Speaker 1: It's so gross, it's so stupid.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I personally this is my quote. Real don't cheat.
- 32:56Speaker 1: You don't think so kill or No. I kind of
- 32:59Speaker 1: understand what you mean when you say that you do not.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I understand what you mean.
- 33:05Speaker 2: In us that makes us want to be right across
- 33:09Speaker 2: the border, you guys agree a statement, Well, it's it's
- 33:15Speaker 2: missing a couple of things, because there is something in
- 33:19Speaker 2: us that makes us want to be right. But you
- 33:23Speaker 2: also have to introduce the human element. And there's none perfect, no,
- 33:28Speaker 2: not one. So you can be a real man and
- 33:31Speaker 2: make a mistake, you can. You know, I understand where
- 33:36Speaker 2: he's coming from. But you know, now Nia Long's statement
- 33:41Speaker 2: about you know, this woman made me feel special and different.
- 33:45Speaker 2: That's so dumb. That's not dumb. That's usually what happens
- 33:51Speaker 2: if a man is at home and he lacks two
- 33:55Speaker 2: major things. If a man don't feel a appreciate it
- 34:03Speaker 2: and a man don't feel supported, those two things right there,
- 34:09Speaker 2: Them two things right there that women never talk about.
- 34:12Speaker 2: It ain't how you look. And he saw somebody fine
- 34:16Speaker 2: and all this he and she was real sexy. No, man,
- 34:20Speaker 2: it's some other things in there too. But if a
- 34:23Speaker 2: man don't feel appreciated, and a man don't feel he
- 34:28Speaker 2: don't feel like his value, you gonna have a problem.
- 34:31Speaker 2: You're going to have a problem. And it's not just
- 34:34Speaker 2: cutting dry, no, sir, it can't be. I mean, that's
- 34:39Speaker 2: a nice statement Jeez made anyway, but it can't be
- 34:41Speaker 2: that cut and dry, because you can be a real
- 34:45Speaker 2: man and make a whole lot of mistakes. That I'm
- 34:47Speaker 2: telling you, man, that's what this thing is. You know,
- 34:51Speaker 2: it's a lot of good men that made some mistakes.
- 34:55Speaker 2: It's a lot of good men in prison. People don't
- 34:57Speaker 2: like when you say that, but it's some really really
- 34:59Speaker 2: good men sitting behind that wall. And because good people
- 35:04Speaker 2: make mistakes, so I understand where JEZU coming from. Sounds good,
- 35:09Speaker 2: nice quote, good to put on the book cover, but
- 35:13Speaker 2: in real life, Doggie.
- 35:16Speaker 10: I ain't like the quote here.
- 35:17Speaker 2: I didn't like it. Why didn't you like?
- 35:19Speaker 11: What?
- 35:20Speaker 1: What's wrong?
- 35:20Speaker 13: What's wrong?
- 35:21Speaker 1: Junior?
- 35:23Speaker 9: I don't know. You can't be talking to my crush
- 35:25Speaker 9: like that, and you just making statements, making healthy some
- 35:27Speaker 9: type of ways, like I ain't sitting over here. This
- 35:31Speaker 9: is about you, and don't cheat you try to depress.
- 35:40Speaker 9: I would have said the same thing, Jesus, you're not impressed.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we're gonna
- 35:48Speaker 1: try to calm Junior down. Essay's tips for flying with
- 35:53Speaker 1: Thanksgiving food. We'll talk about that right after this. You're
- 35:57Speaker 1: listening morning show. Thanksgiving travel is right around the corner.
- 36:02Speaker 1: If you're confused about what you can bring on a
- 36:04Speaker 1: plane and what needs to go in your checked bags, well,
- 36:07Speaker 1: the roads can be confusing, but the TSA gets it,
- 36:11Speaker 1: and they're helping to clear things up as we get
- 36:14Speaker 1: into the busy holiday travel season. The Transportation Security administration
- 36:18Speaker 1: is sharing some lighthearted guidelines about the Thanksgiving foods that
- 36:22Speaker 1: are okay to have in your carry on and those
- 36:25Speaker 1: that belong in your checked luggage. Turkey dressing, mac and
- 36:30Speaker 1: cheese are.
- 36:30Speaker 10: Good on the plane.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you could carry on bag.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Yeah I didn't. Yeah.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Oh, and cranberry sauce. It doesn't matter if it's from
- 36:51Speaker 1: a can or homemade. If it's it's classified as a liquid.
- 36:55Speaker 1: So it needs to go in your checked luggage. Okay,
- 36:58Speaker 1: So you could take the turkey dressing in the mac
- 37:01Speaker 1: and cheese, but the cranberry sauce has to be checked.
- 37:04Speaker 1: And in addition, you need to check your alcohol and gravy.
- 37:08Speaker 1: If you're gonna bring gravy, that's a liquid too, So
- 37:11Speaker 1: that checked bag, gravy?
- 37:14Speaker 2: Who house going to? The damn? Why is we flying here?
- 37:21Speaker 2: And all gravy? Who house you going to? How many things?
- 37:30Speaker 19: Given?
- 37:30Speaker 2: Jimmis has day ass ruined Henni's house and you didn't
- 37:35Speaker 2: bought everything? Where is we gonna put this mac and
- 37:39Speaker 2: chites in? You gonna turny green bean?
- 37:42Speaker 11: But the grave we'll.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Need all the part looking at who is carrying this turkey?
- 37:47Speaker 15: Turkey?
- 37:48Speaker 2: We need a whole turkey. You know we're going to
- 37:50Speaker 2: ain't hellis I'm going what's we're talking about? Flying all
- 37:53Speaker 2: the food here? Braving damn dog graves to bring gravy?
- 38:00Speaker 2: How big that gravy pot got the boom?
- 38:03Speaker 9: Man?
- 38:04Speaker 2: Don't how much?
- 38:05Speaker 1: Look ad you fit in the half because all the
- 38:07Speaker 1: food has gotta be in a separate thing in case
- 38:10Speaker 1: it spells you want.
- 38:11Speaker 2: To which graves? They don't even want it that. I
- 38:14Speaker 2: don't want no gravy come out of thermos.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I just.
- 38:19Speaker 2: The turkey pounds. We got a nineteen pound taken. We
- 38:23Speaker 2: got a luggage just for that.
- 38:31Speaker 11: Great.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I'll just stay home, thank you.
- 38:34Speaker 7: Or dry all.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Listen, I'm gonna just eat Thanksgiving him. I'll tell you
- 38:44Speaker 2: we're gonna got then this Thanksgiving. Yeah, we're gonna zoom
- 38:48Speaker 2: sit around table. I'm not sliging all this damn food.
- 38:52Speaker 11: See me on.
- 38:53Speaker 10: Somebody said dip that bag and get.
- 38:56Speaker 1: That and the Ranberry sign.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Else, somebody got to fly in the punch this helpful
- 39:05Speaker 2: can't cooking nothing. Somebody got to fly into punch money all.

- 53:40Speaker 1: it could be yours.
- 53:42Speaker 2: You never know. Michael leph hold on type be guided
- 53:45Speaker 2: for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject Real men can cry, but there's
- 53:50Speaker 1: a limit. Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband and I had
- 53:53Speaker 1: a long distance relationship for two years, and we had
- 53:56Speaker 1: never spent over two weeks together until we got married.
- 54:00Speaker 1: It was overwhelming for me to have a man around
- 54:02Speaker 1: full time, and when I asked him for my own
- 54:05Speaker 1: space in his home, he got sad. I'm twenty six
- 54:08Speaker 1: and I went straight from my parents' house to my
- 54:10Speaker 1: husband's house. My mom said, since he's thirty two years old,
- 54:14Speaker 1: he should be patient with me because a lot of
- 54:17Speaker 1: things are new to me right now. He's not patient
- 54:20Speaker 1: or understanding, and he doesn't deal with things in a
- 54:23Speaker 1: manly way, in my opinion. For example, I got some
- 54:27Speaker 1: tea last Sunday and sat on the back patio enjoying
- 54:31Speaker 1: the cool air, and I called my best girlfriend to
- 54:34Speaker 1: catch up. He came out and he started crying, saying
- 54:38Speaker 1: that he can't believe I'd rather spend quality time with
- 54:40Speaker 1: my girlfriend than talking to him. I got off the
- 54:44Speaker 1: phone and I went in and sat on the couch
- 54:46Speaker 1: while he watched football. I was very weirded out by
- 54:50Speaker 1: what he did, and it's not the first time he's
- 54:52Speaker 1: done that, so I need to know what's wrong with him.
- 54:55Speaker 1: The crying after intimacy is the worst, and I don't
- 54:59Speaker 1: know how to console him. At first I thought I
- 55:01Speaker 1: had heard him, but he said he just can't believe
- 55:04Speaker 1: he bagged a beauty like me. Is it low self
- 55:08Speaker 1: esteem or what? Let's say, for instance, I pick up
- 55:11Speaker 1: a meal for him that he's been wanting, he will
- 55:14Speaker 1: hug me and cry like I bought him a rolex
- 55:17Speaker 1: or something. I'm telling you something is not right with him.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I'm scared to talk to any of my close friends
- 55:23Speaker 1: about him because they will never look at him the
- 55:25Speaker 1: same way and the jokes will never be never ending.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I do think it's healthy for a grown man to cry,
- 55:32Speaker 1: But why is he so emotional all the time? Please help?
- 55:36Speaker 1: I'm with you. Although I haven't seen it a lot
- 55:39Speaker 1: in my lifetime, I do think it can be healthy
- 55:42Speaker 1: for a man to cry. It's more acceptable in this
- 55:44Speaker 1: society for a woman to cry. But who wants to
- 55:47Speaker 1: see a woman who cries all the time?
- 55:49Speaker 13: Either.
- 55:50Speaker 1: In your case, the question is why is he crying?
- 55:53Speaker 1: We don't know the answer to that. Because you bought
- 55:56Speaker 1: him some food. You brought him some food he start
- 55:59Speaker 1: crying because you called your best friend when you were
- 56:02Speaker 1: out on the patio with a glass of tea because
- 56:04Speaker 1: you're having sex.
- 56:05Speaker 13: He cries.
- 56:08Speaker 1: All of this is very strange. I guess you didn't
- 56:11Speaker 1: know it before you married him, since you guys didn't
- 56:14Speaker 1: live together, so this is all a surprise to you.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I have to agree with you about this. With you
- 56:22Speaker 1: not talking to your friends, they won't understand and they
- 56:26Speaker 1: will clown him. If anything, you should try a therapist
- 56:29Speaker 1: or a marriage counselor or something. You have to tell
- 56:31Speaker 1: your husband how you feel and try to get him
- 56:34Speaker 1: to agree to get some kind of help to find
- 56:36Speaker 1: out what's wrong, because you don't want to start looking
- 56:38Speaker 1: at him as unmanly for crying all the time and
- 56:41Speaker 1: lose respect for him. I have no idea what he's
- 56:44Speaker 1: crying for, and you don't either, So try and get
- 56:49Speaker 1: some help for him.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Steve, ain't no help for him. Let me straighten this
- 56:52Speaker 2: out for you. I know dudes like this. I know
- 56:54Speaker 2: one just like this. And you ain't going to therapy
- 56:58Speaker 2: and fix this. You know he ain't for therapy. You
- 57:02Speaker 2: know you ain't finna stop this. Ain't nobody finish fin
- 57:04Speaker 2: He ain't have no deep seated problems in his childhood
- 57:07Speaker 2: or nothing, I'll just get to what's really wrong right
- 57:10Speaker 2: here in a minute. Y'all had a long dist relationship
- 57:14Speaker 2: for two years and you never spent two weeks together.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Now you have married the man and moved in. Now
- 57:20Speaker 2: all held and broke news. So now you told him,
- 57:24Speaker 2: since you have twenty six and you had moved in
- 57:26Speaker 2: directly with him, that you wanted to have your own space,
- 57:31Speaker 2: and your mom said he should give it to you
- 57:33Speaker 2: because he's thirty two and he should be patient or understanding.
- 57:38Speaker 2: Then you said, he don't deal with things in a
- 57:42Speaker 2: manly way. Folks, let me tell you something. When your
- 57:46Speaker 2: woman types my man does not deal with things in
- 57:52Speaker 2: a manly way, that is because she has had another
- 57:57Speaker 2: view of manhood or is at a different reaction or
- 58:03Speaker 2: behavior of a man that you're not doing. And once
- 58:08Speaker 2: a woman has that viewpoint of view, this marriage is
- 58:12Speaker 2: heading towards the end because the things you are expecting
- 58:18Speaker 2: for him, he is not going to be able to
- 58:20Speaker 2: deliver on. I'm sorry, We about to get to it
- 58:24Speaker 2: in a minute now. When I say what I got
- 58:27Speaker 2: to say, don't nobody say nothing to me because she
- 58:32Speaker 2: wrote me with the problem and I have to tell
- 58:37Speaker 2: you what your man's problem is so, for example, you
- 58:41Speaker 2: got some tea last Sunday, you set out on the
- 58:44Speaker 2: back patty and joined the cool app, and you call
- 58:47Speaker 2: your girlfriend to catch up. He came out and he
- 58:51Speaker 2: started crying. I can't believe you would rather spend your
- 58:56Speaker 2: time with your girlfriend to be they tell me me,
- 59:03Speaker 2: And that's why I'm out here crying. Look at you.
- 59:10Speaker 6: I know.
- 59:10Speaker 2: She looked up at him and going, what's wrong with you?
- 59:14Speaker 2: I know because see women women today self, what is
- 59:19Speaker 2: wrong with your pocast? I know you ain't out here
- 59:21Speaker 2: crying because I'm talking on the phone. So she got
- 59:25Speaker 2: off the phone and went and sat on the couch
- 59:27Speaker 2: while he watched football. Now, you say you was very
- 59:31Speaker 2: weirded out by what he did, but that ain't the
- 59:34Speaker 2: first time he done that. It's to crying after intimacy.
- 59:38Speaker 2: That's the worst. I don't know how to console him.
- 59:42Speaker 2: I don't understand that either. Not crying after sex, crying
- 59:46Speaker 2: during sex. I've seen that happen. I've cried. I've had
- 59:53Speaker 2: something so good that tears have run down my face.
- 59:56Speaker 1: I've had I can't hold on.
- 59:58Speaker 2: But afterwards, I don't know what we s you're crying
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: for hour.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Hold that thought, Steve. We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter subject real men can cry, but there's
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: a limit. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:14Speaker 13: You're listening morning show?
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: The subject is real men can cry, but there's a limit.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, she'd havene married this man that cry a lout,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: and she don't know what to do. He thirty two.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: She twenty six, and one time she was out on
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: the back patio having a hot cup of tea and
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: she called her girlfriend. Well, precious came outside and saw
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: her having the tea talking her girlfriend and just started crying,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: to you out here talking only I ain't watch any
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: game out, but I said you a visit. Well, you
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: old man with me? And then she looked up and
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: said on the her brother, what is your punk ass
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: talking good? And she said, well, baby, I was just
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: out here talking to my friends, so it kind of
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: weirded my mouth. So she went inside to watch football
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: set on the couch next to him. She was kind
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: of weird about that, and she didn't know what to do,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: but that ain't the first time. Then she said, it's
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: to crying after intimacy. That is the worst, and I
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: don't know how to console him. At first I thought
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: I had heard him had put it on it to
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: where you had caused him some pain. But he said
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: he just can't believe he bagged the beauty like me,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: he too, Damn, he cried too much. You don't cry
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: after intimacy. You can cry during intimacy, Like I said
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: on my last break, I've had something so good that
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: the tears had run down my face before something. But
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: I just I know you can cry during intimacy, but afterwards,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: I don't know how because especially when you get to
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: that moment that you all work for, that climactic moment
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: of excitement. Yeh, there's no crying now because it because
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: they feel like you're getting electrocuted. So it's kind of
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: hardy hard to cry when you're getting electrocuted. You know,
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: you holler, and you know, half stand up on the
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: back of your neck. I don't even have half more
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: and it's still standing there and it's just shocking. But
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: that's when I know what the really my it's no
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: self esteem of what to say. For instance, I pick
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: up a meal for him that he been wanting, he
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: will hug me and cry like I bought him a
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Rolex or something Chinese food.
- 1:02:40Speaker 11: How did you know?
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: I gail what I wanted? Some ship right right? Everything?
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Oh God, I can't believe you, beautiful hen you spot
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: about this? Oh God? Is sim was like, And let
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: me tell you something, lady. You got to divorce this
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: man because this ain't finna get no better. It's no
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: counseling for him. You can't tell this to your friends
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: because every time they see him, they gonna see precious coming.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Listen to me, first of all, this ain't crying. This
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: is whining. You're married to a whiner. Now it has
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: turned into tears because he whines so convincingly to himself.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: He hurts himself. Your man is soft. He softened and medicated.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: Cot See, you can be emotional and you can be sensitive.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: You can't be both. Bro, he not gonna recover from this.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: I mean he was the little kid that remember the
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: song we used to sing when we were a little
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Cry baby cry, Why if you weeping eyes, put your
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: hand on your hip and let your backbone slip all
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: shake it to the east, Shad, take it to the west,
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Shake it to the everyone that you love the best. Hey,
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: cry baby cry, Yeah that's him, except he thirty two.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: He too soft, man. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: He just soft. This ain't gonna work. He gonna do
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: it in front of some people. Now, I don't know
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: what qualities he have that made you marry him. I
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: don't know. He could be good in a lot of
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: areas because he's obviously a sensitive man. And it's okay
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: to be a sensitive man. Yeah, cry, it's okay to cry.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I think I'm a sensitive man because I'm umsive to people,
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: but I'm not an emotional man. I don't fall apart,
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: I don't come apart. I handle stress extremely well. I
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: take more than the average person is willing to take.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: I know how to get in the fox hole and fight.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: I come up out of it. I got a lot
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: of dog in me. I'm a sensitive man. I'm sensitive
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: to people. But you can't be sensitive and emotional because
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: now you're just sitting up for some of your your
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: punk ass, just crying on the turn. And that's what
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: it is. And he gonna do it in front of
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: some people. Y'all gonna be sitting up at dinner and
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: he gonna bite down into one of them dishes that
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: he just loved. Oh love not mashed potatoes. God, I
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: love mash potatoes. Love no juice turkey. Yeah, see Thanksgiving
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: it's gonna have all the food. And don't cat this.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: Don't kill your little soft man around your uncles. I'm
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: telling you this right now. Don't take him over that
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: round Uncle jun Bug and Uncle Earl O'Neil, because he
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: not buying none of this.
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: Hey man.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: All right, yeah, you got a little you guys, you're
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: married to some medicated cotton. I suggest you get out
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: because he ain't gonna toughen up no time soon.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Post your coming Thanksberry.

- 1:09:42Speaker 1: with women of anyone I've ever known. Sometimes it's just
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: painful to sit back and watch it all unfold. Now,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: I think he's setting himself up for more pain, and
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I'm wondering if it's my place to step in and
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: warn him after a After running out of options, he's
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: turned to a dating site dedicated to women behind bars.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: He says he's been having regular exchanges with Angela, who's
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: incarcerated in a facility over one thousand miles away and
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: will be for five to seven more years. But he's
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: sure she's the one and is already planning multiple trips
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: to visit her. I'm like, come on, dog, uncle, I'm
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: trying to be a real friend here, but I don't
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: know what else to say. I just don't know what
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: else to say here.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: No, you got to let him go. You got to
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: let him go ahead do this. See when people don't
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: have look and then they come up with a real
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: stupid idea. You got to let one of them play
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: out inmate love of one thousand miles away on a
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: dating site, women behind bars. You'll go ahead, go here.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Just that's it. Nothing.
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: All these women out here, all these women free, all
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: these women ain't leading now, though she's gonna want revenge. Okay,
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: all these women out here, what man came find a
- 1:11:14Speaker 2: woman out here? Got to go get one in prison.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: I understand women finding men in prison, but a man
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: got to go find a woman in prison. He don't
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: have no luck. Man, Hey, man, what's wrong with your friend?
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: See something wrong? Something wrong with him?
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: It ain't this girl in prison?
- 1:11:36Speaker 18: Right?
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: I think she looked like when she come up to
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: that glass though, you got, homie, and then I need
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: to know what you were in here before we can
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: start talking about love.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: All right, we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: is from Sherry and Steve Harvey. Cherry says, I have
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: a decently home, so I've been asked to host Thanksgiving
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: dinner this year. I am happy to do it, and
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: figured I would just order food from a local restaurant
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and waha, dinner is served. Well, we got out about
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: my plan, and now I'm being accused of taking the
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: lazy way out. I figure that one I'm a terrible cook.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Two I already have to clean my house and take
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: care of the hosting duties. Three it'll probably end up
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: being cheaper in the long Run. And four, if they
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: think it's lazy, then why aren't they hosting Uncle Steve and.
- 1:12:32Speaker 13: The Morning crew?
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: Is really?
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Is it really being lazy? Or should I be ashamed
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: over this?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: What should is not being lazy? You just said you
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: ain't a good cook. All the people fit to drive
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: in for that, right? No, you need to go and
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: get that food from that restaurant or you could do
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: what one of the stories was early in the show,
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: they were discussing that the airlines is going over the
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: foods that you can fly in because your ass can't cook.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: You just said you can't cook. You ain't got no choice,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: but they saying you took the lazy way out. Tell
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: them all, just tell all the women on the text.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Y'all know I can't cook. Now, what y'all gonna eat
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: when y'all get here? Y'all want me to go on
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: and try something because I can try a few things.
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: You know your first turkey. You ain't gonna do the
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: first turkey right. I don't know if you know that,
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: but you're not gonna get the first turkey right.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: It's gonna be a disaster.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: Yes, And if you ain't never made mac and cheese.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Trust me, that stuff that's on the shelf that you
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: get in the box that ain't what they want. Oh

- 1:18:52Speaker 11: I could be with a fine person that I don't trust.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Just would you rather be with someone you don't trust

- 1:19:05Speaker 2: Because you're steal this money. It's gonna be a problem.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: It's gonna be a day problem.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: That's today's round.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: So please understand. As soon as I find out, it's
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: gonna be a problem.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: And let you know that right now, coming up at
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour, it's our last break
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: of the day and we'll close out the show with
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: are last break of the day on this Thursday.
- 1:19:36Speaker 10: It's been a good day, yes, absolutely, Steve.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Well, here's some closing remarks I got for you today.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: And I've thought this because I have to remind myself
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: of this all the time. And I'm not gonna say
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: anything new. You've all heard this, but every now and
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: then we need a reminder, and that reminder is simply this.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Don't you ever ever give up? Don't do it. I
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: don't care how long you've been waiting. I don't care
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: how long it's taken. I don't care how many times
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: it's been delayed. I don't care how many no's you've gotten.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Don't you dare? Don't you dare give up? Because I
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: am telling you it is those that endure to the end.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: The race isn't given to the swim, but to those
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: that endureth to the end. You have got to make
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: it to the end so you can see what the
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: results are they don't give away. This is not this
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: thing called life. Ain't about first place because it's a
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: whole lot of places. You ain't trying to place first.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: You just trying to win your race because you ain't
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: against nobody else. See, that's the problem you got. People
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: get it twisted. You are not so what somebody got picked,
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: and you didn't saw what somebody got promoted, And you
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: didn't saw what somebody else hit the lodder when you
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: didn't saw what somebody else got there first, saw what
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: somebody down the street got a bigger house, saw what
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: somebody on the block keep getting a new car every year.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: You don't know what their circumstances is. Don't you ever
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: give up because you are not in a race against
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: in nobody else. You are in your own life race,
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: and the race isn't given to the swill, but to
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: those that endure to the end. You have got to
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: stay with it. You don't know when God is gonna
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: flip that switch. I promise you you don't. I can
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: go over. It's so many documented stories about me about
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: how I felt like giving up and then all of
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: a sudden God came through. I'm going through something right
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: now that I do not understand why it's taken so long.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: But I tell you one thing, though, I bet you
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: I don't quit. I promise you that I am going
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: to wait on God. I am going to trust in
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: his timing. Now listen to me. Trusting in God's timing
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: is difficult because it almost ain't ever on the timeframe
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: you got in mine. I have never prayed for nothing
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: that I want to happen in ten years. I have
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: a lot more immediate prayers than that. But can I
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: tell you something I have prayed for something that took
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: ten years to happen. Oh boy, As I look back
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: on my life, I remember asking God for stuff at
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: twenty something that I didn't get till I was almost forty.
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, I asked God for something
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: when I was twenty four. I didn't get it till
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: I was fifty. I can't tell you how many times
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: I have wanted something to happen so bad and it
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: didn't happen nowhere in the time frame. But I kept
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: the faith. I kept hope alive. And sometimes that's all
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: I had, y'all. It was I just hope something happened.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: But faith is the substance of things hope for and
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: the evidence of things not seen. Sometimes your faith has
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: to just be a hope. It's all right, it's all right.
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: It's okay that your faith wavers. You just got to
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: keep hope alive because sometimes your faith is just diminish
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: yourself down to our hope. Man, show hope. God hear me, Man,
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: I show hope. He comes through. You know that's different
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: from I know he gonna come through. But it's okay.
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: Sometimes it get down to that we human. Man, this
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: is hard.
- 1:24:18Speaker 11: That's human.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: God, Why is it taking so long? That's human?
- 1:24:25Speaker 19: Lord?
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: Why are you letting me do this? Why is this
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: happening to me like this? That's human? But as you
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: get through having him human moments, don't you dare give up.
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: Don't you give up. I'm telling you, y'all, it can
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: happen at a moment when you least expect it, and
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: it can happen better than you ever thought it would be.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: This life that I have now, it's no way I
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: saw this. He will do exceedingly and abundantly over all
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: you think or ask. That's the power of God. God
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: is good man. But y'all, whatever you're going through, don't
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: you give up whatever you've been praying about. You just
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: keep on praying about it, keep on believing. And if
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: you can't believe some days, just hope, keep hope alive.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: Faith is the substance of things hoped for. That's the
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: substance of faith. It's just a hope sometimes and sometimes
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: you just down to that. But don't y'all give up.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: I'm telling you, man, don't you dare you? Bet not quit?
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Don't you let the devil fool you, make you think
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: God don't hear you, and he ain't coming. God, don't
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: forsaken you. God don't ever forsake you.
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: That was you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: You tripped out. Don't give up, y'all. Those are my
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: closing remarks. Don't forget you. We all talked to God today.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: He'd absolutely love to hear from me. That was a
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: good program. Love Steve, Thank you.
