- 1:43Speaker 9: You probably got to turn. Mouth turn A.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Wad of the mony up, come come out, you think.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 4: come on, dig me now, one and only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 4: got a radio show today. I want to just share
- 2:16Speaker 4: something with you along your way to wherever it is
- 2:23Speaker 4: you're trying to get to. You know, everybody has a
- 2:27Speaker 4: different definition for success, and I'm not here to tell
- 2:31Speaker 4: you what yours should be. I mean, please pursue whatever
- 2:34Speaker 4: you think success. He is aim as high as you
- 2:37Speaker 4: can though, that's for sure. My father used to say
- 2:42Speaker 4: all the time. I'm sure you all have heard it
- 2:44Speaker 4: in different variations, but he used to always say, aim
- 2:48Speaker 4: for the moon. Just in case you miss, you'll still
- 2:50Speaker 4: be amongst the stars. Just say that to me all
- 2:53Speaker 4: the time. So that always was in me to aim high.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Now he was and saying aim with the intent to miss.
- 3:03Speaker 4: He was just saying aim in case you miss, you'll
- 3:08Speaker 4: steal me amongst the stars if you aim for the moon.
- 3:11Speaker 4: But if you just aim for that first flow window
- 3:14Speaker 4: and you miss it, you know, usually run into some
- 3:18Speaker 4: type of wall and nothing happens. You slither down, you know.
- 3:22Speaker 4: In my book, act like a lady, think like a man.
- 3:24Speaker 4: I told her people that me in love three ways.
- 3:27Speaker 4: They profess, they provide, they protect, and that's the core
- 3:31Speaker 4: essence of a man's love. Well, there's some other PE's
- 3:35Speaker 4: in life too. The number one thing you have to
- 3:39Speaker 4: understand about trying to be successful, and I guess I'll
- 3:44Speaker 4: call this the four p's. I may come up with
- 3:47Speaker 4: five along the way.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I'm just talking as it's given to me. So I'm
- 3:52Speaker 4: gonna summer start by saying that these are the four
- 3:55Speaker 4: PE's of success that you have to get ready for.
- 3:59Speaker 4: One is pressure. A lot of it is applied by
- 4:04Speaker 4: the circumstance of what you're trying to go for and
- 4:07Speaker 4: what you're trying.
- 4:08Speaker 2: To do, but.
- 4:11Speaker 4: A lot of it also is self imposed pressure. It's
- 4:16Speaker 4: what you put on yourself to make it. It's a
- 4:19Speaker 4: sense of urgency, it's a sense of necessity. But pressure
- 4:27Speaker 4: is the first thing I want you to be ready for.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And pressure comes in a lot of different forms, but
- 4:33Speaker 4: it's going to be pressured as an old saying that
- 4:35Speaker 4: pressure buster pipe. See, that's why most people turn around
- 4:39Speaker 4: because of the pressure of trying to be successful. I
- 4:42Speaker 4: want you to get it in your mind that it
- 4:45Speaker 4: is going to be a pressureize situation on your rise
- 4:49Speaker 4: to the top. Pressure, but understand that that is what
- 4:54Speaker 4: it is, is not going to change. That's it. Prepare yourself,
- 4:59Speaker 4: get ready for there to be pressure. The second thing
- 5:05Speaker 4: I want you to understand is when you receive this pressure,
- 5:08Speaker 4: you have to persist. You got to stay at it.
- 5:13Speaker 4: You got to develop a dog illness. Hez, there's a
- 5:20Speaker 4: song that says, why must I feel like that? Why
- 5:26Speaker 4: must I chase the cat? Nothing but the dog in me?
- 5:32Speaker 4: That's a funny line in that song, because really I
- 5:36Speaker 4: was thinking about it one day. I was humming it
- 5:39Speaker 4: and and it occurred to me, he said, why must
- 5:42Speaker 4: I feel like that? Why must I chase the cat?
- 5:47Speaker 4: Nothing but the dog in me? And you know, now
- 5:51Speaker 4: you could take it in the literal sense that a
- 5:53Speaker 4: cat chases the dog, because it's innately it's in his
- 5:57Speaker 4: spirit that cats and dogs are a lot of time enemies.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Now people have pets in him, proving that if you
- 6:03Speaker 4: show love.
- 6:04Speaker 2: On both sides, they can exist.
- 6:05Speaker 4: And that happens too but naturally innately, when your cat
- 6:10Speaker 4: goes by a dog and your dog don't recognize him,
- 6:13Speaker 4: there's some barking going on. I'm talking about just walking
- 6:16Speaker 4: through the neighborhood or something. So, but the reason that
- 6:19Speaker 4: this dog is so persistent towards this cat is just
- 6:25Speaker 4: cause it's in him. It's innately in him. And what
- 6:31Speaker 4: I'm saying to you, just using that as an analogy,
- 6:36Speaker 4: is that you got to be you got to be
- 6:39Speaker 4: persistent in that. You got to develop some dog in
- 6:44Speaker 4: you now because pressure takes some fighting back. See if
- 6:49Speaker 4: you don't fight back against pressure, pressure buster pipe, So
- 6:52Speaker 4: what you think it'll do to you? Pressure crack walls,
- 6:56Speaker 4: pressure calls explosions. So if you don't fight back to
- 7:00Speaker 4: hold it in, you understand pressure does most people in
- 7:05Speaker 4: the simple thing called pressure.
- 7:08Speaker 2: The weight of what it feels like to want to be.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Successful every single day, over and over and over and
- 7:14Speaker 4: over and over. It's just too much pressure. People crack.
- 7:18Speaker 4: You got to persist. You have to persist.
- 7:23Speaker 2: You can.
- 7:23Speaker 4: The thought of giving up can come, but you got
- 7:26Speaker 4: to get it out. You got to persist. The next
- 7:32Speaker 4: thing I want you to think about is another something
- 7:35Speaker 4: that I've been thinking about for years and learned for years.
- 7:39Speaker 4: It's called perseverance. To persist means to insist, a keyword
- 7:46Speaker 4: in incest, and persistence insists you must. You must insist
- 7:51Speaker 4: that this is going to happen. Now, the persist I'm
- 7:55Speaker 4: assuming means it's a proaction. It's some type of proaction
- 7:59Speaker 4: that you go towards it to make it. You know, persist,
- 8:03Speaker 4: you gotta be persistent. You gotta be constantly at it,
- 8:06Speaker 4: insisting that it happens. You gotta be constantly at it.
- 8:09Speaker 4: But the next thing I want you to remember is perseverance.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Perseverance is important. Perseverance means that when you've done your best,
- 8:20Speaker 4: when you've persisted, when you're fighting back against the pressure.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Perseverance simply means I'm going to hang in here. If
- 8:30Speaker 4: a crack come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there.
- 8:34Speaker 4: If the pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going. If I
- 8:37Speaker 4: gotta put duct, take mud, whatever I got to put
- 8:41Speaker 4: on this thing. Man, I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going
- 8:47Speaker 4: to stay with it no matter what. So we're looking
- 8:50Speaker 4: at the three things again. You got to understand that
- 8:54Speaker 4: it's gonna be pressure that you're gonna have to persist.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Keyword in persistence insists. You have to insist that no
- 9:02Speaker 4: matter what the pressure is, I'm gonna stay with it.
- 9:04Speaker 4: But then perseverance. If it goes wrong, Man, you got
- 9:08Speaker 4: to get in there and keep fighting. But then, Lord
- 9:13Speaker 4: have mercy. Nothing helps you handle the three peas better
- 9:17Speaker 4: than the fourth p You got to pray. You got
- 9:20Speaker 4: to use prayer. You gotta talk to God. You gotta
- 9:24Speaker 4: use faith. You gotta have some conferences with him late
- 9:28Speaker 4: at night, early in the morning, in the middle of
- 9:31Speaker 4: the afternoon, when you're on the train, when you're driving.
- 9:34Speaker 4: You got to talk to God. Man, you got to
- 9:36Speaker 4: get yourself some help along the way. Nothing is bigger
- 9:40Speaker 4: than prayer. There is nothing bigger than prayer. Prayer will
- 9:43Speaker 4: help you overcome the pressure. Prayer will help you stay persistent,
- 9:47Speaker 4: and Lord have mercy. Prayer will help you persevere. Then,
- 9:51Speaker 4: mister faux pease, God gave that to me. I'm passing
- 9:56Speaker 4: it on.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Show.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has arrived for the beginning
- 10:07Speaker 4: of a new day, a new week, a new show.

- 25:57Speaker 10: long distance relationship for eight We both have a problem
- 26:02Speaker 10: with the distance between us, but he expects me to
- 26:04Speaker 10: move because he owns a home and I'm in a
- 26:07Speaker 10: rental home. I told him that's not fair. It's also
- 26:10Speaker 10: not fair that he hangs out with a female best
- 26:13Speaker 10: friend while I'm not in town, but he never brings
- 26:16Speaker 10: her around when I'm in town. He keeps asking me
- 26:18Speaker 10: to move in with him so he won't have to
- 26:22Speaker 10: hang out with his friend. Does this sound right to you?
- 26:24Speaker 10: Is this female friend my replacement while I'm away?
- 26:28Speaker 4: Well, if you come to town, he won't have to hang
- 26:34Speaker 4: out with his best friend. Why does he have to
- 26:37Speaker 4: hang out with the best friend? If you ain't here
- 26:40Speaker 4: doing me, I need somebody doing me. Okay, y'all go
- 26:44Speaker 4: ahead and give it a try. It normally does not
- 26:47Speaker 4: work out.
- 26:48Speaker 2: You're gonna wind up naked, though.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I'm just saying that you can go ahead and try
- 26:54Speaker 4: since she ain't gonna listen to me, but might not
- 26:58Speaker 4: be in your best interest, that's all.
- 27:01Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, So, to answer her question, is this female
- 27:04Speaker 10: friend her replacement while she's away is yes, then, huh, Clo.
- 27:09Speaker 4: I mean he just said, if you come to town, I
- 27:12Speaker 4: won't have to see her no more. That's what he said.
- 27:15Speaker 4: So I don't know what to tell you.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he spilled it out for him. So she so
- 27:24Speaker 1: should she move?
- 27:25Speaker 11: Then?
- 27:27Speaker 2: Move? Why are you talking about moving? They ain't in love?
- 27:31Speaker 10: Well, he wants her to move because he owns his
- 27:34Speaker 10: home and she just rents.
- 27:35Speaker 2: They not in love.
- 27:39Speaker 4: All this woman in and you ain't got you ain't
- 27:43Speaker 4: got no paper you need? You need something with your

- 28:04Speaker 10: they're not known to do this. So, ladies, if you're
- 28:07Speaker 10: tired of guessing how your man feels, here's some pointers
- 28:10Speaker 10: for you to get your guy to share. All right, Steve,
- 28:12Speaker 10: let's see if you agree. Be trustworthy? How about that
- 28:15Speaker 10: for a guy to open?
- 28:19Speaker 7: What?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Stop right down?
- 28:21Speaker 1: So I didn't even hardly get it out.

- 28:26Speaker 2: to open up.
- 28:27Speaker 1: What Okay, yes, okay.

- 28:33Speaker 10: to trust you.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Okay, he did it.

- 28:44Speaker 10: Trust Yeah, all right. Treat him as an equal. Okay.

- 28:54Speaker 1: You know, he's your boo whatever.
- 28:57Speaker 10: So don't treat him.
- 28:58Speaker 2: No, I ain't had it. What do you mean, you know,

- 43:48Speaker 11: I wanted to reach out to you the you know,
- 43:52Speaker 11: the workers at the church. We had a meeting, a
- 43:56Speaker 11: lot of the deacons and the sisters at the church
- 44:02Speaker 11: they have come to, uh, had a meeting, and I
- 44:05Speaker 11: wanted to give you a call. Not Melanie, Melanie, that's
- 44:10Speaker 11: that's that's your sister, right yeah.
- 44:12Speaker 17: That's my sister.
- 44:13Speaker 9: That's my baby sister.
- 44:15Speaker 11: Okay, all right, Well now we got a bit of
- 44:19Speaker 11: a problem, but uh uh uh. They felt that it
- 44:23Speaker 11: would be best for me to call you and discuss
- 44:26Speaker 11: it with you and and let you know what the
- 44:30Speaker 11: you know what they have agreed upon. I'm just basically
- 44:33Speaker 11: the messenger, and I'm just calling you to give you
- 44:35Speaker 11: the word of what's going on.
- 44:38Speaker 17: Okay, brother Greg, right.
- 44:41Speaker 11: Yeah, Brother Greg Grig agree.
- 44:43Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 44:44Speaker 11: Your wife is in the choir, right, uh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 44:49Speaker 17: Okay, Okay, I know, I think I know.
- 44:51Speaker 11: Yeah, okay, okay, all right. Well, like I said, Sister Alsia,
- 44:58Speaker 11: what the officials of the church just saying is that
- 45:02Speaker 11: they they're saying that they have reason to believe that
- 45:06Speaker 11: your sister has been having an affair with with pastors
- 45:12Speaker 11: and my sister r your sister Melanie, and they're saying
- 45:18Speaker 11: she's having and had an affair with having an affair
- 45:22Speaker 11: with pastor that I'm, like I said, I'm just the messenger.
- 45:27Speaker 17: Okay, So why are you'all calling me about something Melany doing.
- 45:32Speaker 11: Well, Like, like I said, the officials had a meeting,
- 45:37Speaker 11: and what they're saying is this is nothing but a
- 45:41Speaker 11: Jezebel spirit and what.
- 45:44Speaker 17: They don't want to wait, wait, wait a minute, come on, okay,
- 45:53Speaker 17: you just hit.
- 45:53Speaker 7: Me out now.
- 45:55Speaker 11: They're saying that this is a Jezebel spirit and they
- 45:58Speaker 11: would rather all of the family not be welcome at
- 46:05Speaker 11: the church anymore.
- 46:08Speaker 17: Okay, First of all, where are you delivering a message
- 46:13Speaker 17: to me about my sister. If you have a problem
- 46:15Speaker 17: with my sister, seems like you will be calling my sister.
- 46:20Speaker 17: Now we shoot step for people. So why are you
- 46:21Speaker 17: calling me about my sister about a rumor? And now
- 46:27Speaker 17: you're saying, y'all don't want me in the church. Is
- 46:31Speaker 17: that what you're saying for.
- 46:34Speaker 7: The entire family?
- 46:37Speaker 11: So if you got some brothers, sisters, auntie, they won't
- 46:41Speaker 11: because they evidently all of the ladies in the Tompson
- 46:44Speaker 11: family much hell, some type of jezabel spirit and they
- 46:48Speaker 11: don't want to Wait.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait a minute.
- 46:50Speaker 17: Now, you just like I said, now, be mindful who
- 46:54Speaker 17: you're speaking to, called somebody of Jezebeth. What you can't
- 47:00Speaker 17: do is call somebody and accuse somebody and then call
- 47:03Speaker 17: them a derogatory word. Talk about somebody a Jezebel and
- 47:07Speaker 17: a Jezebel. Now you're being ruth sir.
- 47:11Speaker 11: It's a Jezebel spirit, is what they were saying.
- 47:14Speaker 17: Okay, that's got to be the most asinine, foolish And
- 47:17Speaker 17: that's I have ever heard in my life. Who done that?
- 47:20Speaker 9: Who are you to call me?
- 47:23Speaker 17: Don't ask me like that? You calling me all like
- 47:26Speaker 17: some bush, but who he cost? They got a Jezabel
- 47:29Speaker 17: stir that's got to call somebody.
- 47:30Speaker 2: The kids come.
- 47:31Speaker 17: You got a bad ass kid? Does jamma rab a Jezebel?
- 47:34Speaker 11: Still don't wait, wait a minute.
- 47:37Speaker 17: Does your mama? Does your red lip sit where I'm
- 47:39Speaker 17: wiped out of Jezebel's firm? Your ass?
- 47:45Speaker 13: That's what's gonna happen.
- 47:46Speaker 12: You gonna mess around and get your ass whoop and
- 47:47Speaker 12: get drug through the damn pool.
- 47:49Speaker 11: Kids around with the top wells of Right now, the
- 47:53Speaker 11: family can't come to the church.
- 47:55Speaker 17: You think we want to be around a church that
- 47:57Speaker 17: got people calls by asking me.
- 48:00Speaker 8: Damn do I have a Jezebel?
- 48:03Speaker 11: But you never answered the question do you have one?
- 48:07Speaker 17: I might have a ring hab fear. Now you know
- 48:10Speaker 17: she was a good Bible.

- 49:19Speaker 11: We all right, maybe maybe.
- 49:21Speaker 17: Your rain half, like I said, maybe half, because you're
- 49:24Speaker 17: gonna even more than one Bible. And she did good
- 49:27Speaker 17: work for the kingdom because you know I work for
- 49:29Speaker 17: the kingdom the long time. Now wait, you don't want

- 52:00Speaker 2: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 52:02Speaker 10: Thank you for your subject. He jumped in feet first.
- 52:06Speaker 10: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a twenty eight year old woman
- 52:09Speaker 10: and I've been having bad luck on the dating scene.
- 52:13Speaker 10: Finally I met someone and I thought he was great emotionally.
- 52:17Speaker 10: He fulfilled my need and he planned the best dates.
- 52:21Speaker 10: We formed a bond over the fact that we were
- 52:23Speaker 10: both tired of dating and being disappointed. After dating for
- 52:27Speaker 10: a couple of months, we decided to take things to
- 52:30Speaker 10: the next level and we had sex. It was amazing
- 52:35Speaker 10: at first. Then he stopped right in the middle of
- 52:38Speaker 10: the act and asked me to put my stiletto heels
- 52:42Speaker 10: back on. I did it and thought it was something
- 52:45Speaker 10: new and fun. But as we continue to do the
- 52:48Speaker 10: do he focused more on my feet and my shoes
- 52:52Speaker 10: than he did on other essential parts of my body.
- 52:55Speaker 10: The next time we were intimate, he asked me to
- 52:57Speaker 10: take off my socks, and then he grabbed my foot
- 53:01Speaker 10: and interlocked his fingers between my toes. The third time
- 53:06Speaker 10: we were intimate, he grabbed my foot and smacked himself
- 53:11Speaker 10: across the face with it.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Now, that freaked me.
- 53:16Speaker 10: Out, and I've never been so mortified, but I didn't
- 53:20Speaker 10: say anything. I decided to take a break from us
- 53:23Speaker 10: having sex, and it was fine with him because I
- 53:26Speaker 10: soon figured out it was my feet that got him aroused,
- 53:30Speaker 10: not me. Recently, we were chilling and watching TV and
- 53:33Speaker 10: he took off my He took my socks off and
- 53:36Speaker 10: started licking the bottom of my feet. I tried to
- 53:40Speaker 10: pull away, but he had a vice grip hold, and
- 53:44Speaker 10: I could see that he was very aroused. It was
- 53:47Speaker 10: time to have the conversation about his foot fetish. He
- 53:51Speaker 10: admitted that he was very attractive to me when we
- 53:54Speaker 10: first met, primarily because of my feet and the white
- 53:59Speaker 10: tonail polish. I told him he was weird, and he
- 54:03Speaker 10: said he'd get back in counseling if I promise not
- 54:07Speaker 10: to break up with him. Should I give him a
- 54:13Speaker 10: chance to change or break up with him?
- 54:18Speaker 8: I don't know about this guy.
- 54:20Speaker 10: You said it it's weird, and it is a foot fetish,
- 54:24Speaker 10: and I guess the foot fetish is like the most
- 54:28Speaker 10: common of all the fetishes out there. What he's doing
- 54:32Speaker 10: does sound freaky and a little bit crazy, especially the
- 54:35Speaker 10: part about him having a vice grip on your.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Toes and you're not being able to get away. That was,
- 54:43Speaker 1: you know, kind of weird.
- 54:45Speaker 10: But I guess it all depends on what you're used to,
- 54:47Speaker 10: or in this case, what you're not used to, and
- 54:50Speaker 10: guess what it is okay to feel the way you feel.
- 54:53Speaker 10: If you don't like something or if something is uncomfortable
- 54:56Speaker 10: for you and to you, then you got to tell him.
- 55:00Speaker 10: I mean, you got to let him know what you
- 55:02Speaker 10: don't like and that you don't like this and to
- 55:04Speaker 10: stop it immediately because it's freaking you out.
- 55:07Speaker 8: That's how you explained it to us in the letter,
- 55:09Speaker 8: And I'm.
- 55:10Speaker 10: Sure he's heard this before because you said he's been
- 55:14Speaker 10: in counseling, So it was no surprise to him that that,
- 55:18Speaker 10: you know, he it was a bit much for you.
- 55:20Speaker 10: It was no surprise he would he would get back
- 55:23Speaker 10: into counseling if you promise not to break up with him.
- 55:27Speaker 10: So you know, you got to decide is this too
- 55:30Speaker 10: much for you? Is this too freaky for you? It
- 55:32Speaker 10: sounds like it is. It doesn't sound like you like
- 55:34Speaker 10: it very much, and it does sound like he's locked
- 55:37Speaker 10: in on your feet, and it doesn't sound like you're
- 55:41Speaker 10: interested in that. So if you need to break up
- 55:44Speaker 10: with him, I mean, that's what you got to do,
- 55:47Speaker 10: because it can only get worse from this point.
- 55:49Speaker 1: I mean, there's no telling what might happen the next time.
- 55:52Speaker 10: You know, you guys are intimate, So maybe you need
- 55:55Speaker 10: to stop while you're behind, while you're a head, because
- 55:57Speaker 10: you never know what might happen with this freaky guy.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Steve Well.
- 56:04Speaker 4: To me, it seems like this is a progressive thing.
- 56:09Speaker 4: And I'll tell you what I mean by this. You know,
- 56:13Speaker 4: you're twenty eight, finally met a man. Both y'all said,
- 56:16Speaker 4: y'all was tired of dating and wanted to find something real.
- 56:19Speaker 4: After y'all dated for two months, everything was gonna y'all decided.
- 56:22Speaker 2: To go to the next level. Okay, now here way
- 56:25Speaker 2: we changing. We had sex. It was amazing at first.
- 56:30Speaker 4: Then he stopped right in the middle of the a
- 56:32Speaker 4: asked me to put on my still letto, putting my
- 56:34Speaker 4: stiletto heels back on.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I did it.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Thought it was something new and fun. I ain't got
- 56:39Speaker 4: no problem with that. I like stiletto, I liked toe pointing.
- 56:43Speaker 4: I like all that heels up. Ain'tk a holding all that.
- 56:50Speaker 3: All that.
- 56:52Speaker 2: This is progressive.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Now you're on stand se, you know, if you're working
- 56:55Speaker 4: through some things with y'all. So you put the heels
- 56:58Speaker 4: back on.
- 56:59Speaker 2: It was good. I wouldn't let you take them off.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Let's just start right there.
- 57:03Speaker 4: You would have had to go get them back on
- 57:04Speaker 4: because I'd have stopped you from taking them off.
- 57:06Speaker 2: That's I'm just saying. It's levels to this.
- 57:11Speaker 4: And then he focused more on your feet and your
- 57:15Speaker 4: shoes than the rest of your body.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Okay, that's what you said.
- 57:18Speaker 4: The next time we was intermitting that this one he
- 57:21Speaker 4: asked me to take off my socks. He grabbed my foot.
- 57:24Speaker 4: He interlocked his fingers between my toes. Wait a damn minute, now,
- 57:31Speaker 4: hold if you jam your big ass hands down between
- 57:35Speaker 4: each one of my toes, let me pray something to you.
- 57:38Speaker 2: My toes has never been apart before.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Everever they friends, they are package.
- 57:45Speaker 2: My toes are always touching at all times.
- 57:49Speaker 4: A lady grabbed my big toe one time giving me
- 57:52Speaker 4: a pedicure.
- 57:53Speaker 2: And put her hand, her whole hand on my big.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Toe and separated it from the other folk. Couldn't I
- 58:02Speaker 4: was hyperventilating. I couldn't even breathe off. So wash you
- 58:08Speaker 4: in and lock your fingers in between my damn toe,
- 58:11Speaker 4: and you got big ass heads. We gonna break up
- 58:14Speaker 4: about this.
- 58:15Speaker 8: Hold up, Steve, Hold up, okay.
- 58:17Speaker 4: Your fingers between my damn toe.
- 58:20Speaker 10: Will have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 58:24Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour of the subjects he
- 58:27Speaker 10: jumped in feet first.
- 58:29Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 58:32Speaker 1: Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 58:34Speaker 10: Hi, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject
- 58:38Speaker 10: he jumped in feet first.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Well, this lady to meet this man.
- 58:43Speaker 4: They finally started dating that both decided they needed something real.
- 58:47Speaker 2: He was amazing, amazing dates and everything.
- 58:49Speaker 4: After two months, they decided to go to the next
- 58:51Speaker 4: level and they're having sex, and in the middle of it,
- 58:53Speaker 4: he stopped to ask her to put these the letters
- 58:55Speaker 4: on once again.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Nobody got no problem with that. That's fun. You know,
- 58:59Speaker 2: like all that too.
- 59:00Speaker 4: So well, anyway, they get or of that, but she
- 59:02Speaker 4: noticed she started paying more attention to the shoes and
- 59:05Speaker 4: her feet than the rest of her body parts. It
- 59:06Speaker 4: ain't no problem. So they went on and had sex again.
- 59:09Speaker 4: Because sex was amazing, she said. Then they did it again.
- 59:13Speaker 4: She thought it was new and fun. And then here
- 59:16Speaker 4: the next time we were interimate, he asked me to
- 59:18Speaker 4: take off my sock. Now why he had to ask
- 59:20Speaker 4: you take your damn socks off? It's beyond me. Don't
- 59:23Speaker 4: nobody want to make love with your socks on you?
- 59:27Speaker 4: That ain't cute, Okay, So now he got to ask
- 59:30Speaker 4: you to take your socks off. Don't beat country. Now
- 59:34Speaker 4: take your damn socks. Y'all ain't in the bard nowhere,
- 59:36Speaker 4: y'all ain't in the field.
- 59:37Speaker 2: She didn't want you in the house. Take your damn
- 59:40Speaker 2: socks off.
- 59:41Speaker 8: She was scared, but.
- 59:43Speaker 4: When she did take them socks off, this damn food
- 59:46Speaker 4: grabbed her foot and interlocked his fingers tween her toes.
- 59:51Speaker 4: What exactly, bod do you know? What the hell would
- 59:55Speaker 4: it happen if you do that to me? Cause, like
- 59:57Speaker 4: I said, my feet is a buddy package. They friends.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: They've never really been separated. They've been in gatas before.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: They even my sandals, my feet still touched. It's no
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: point where I don't care if I'm jumping where all
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: my toes spread out and looked.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Like a hand.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: My feet always looked like feet. They don't ever open up.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: They don't have the ability to grab stump, pick up
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: quarters and stuff off the ground. These ain't monkey feet.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: I can't hang from a tree by my foot, none
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: of that. I can't write with my foot. You know
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: people can write with their feet. I can't do that,
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: all right, And that kind of hurts you. The third
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: time we was into me. Now here's another one. That's
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: a little shock, and he grabbed my foot and he
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: smacked himself across.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: The face with it. That freaked me out.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Oh that would have freaked me out too, But I
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: bet he wouldn't grab it no more. I'd have kicked
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: his ass so hard with my foot in his face,
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: i'd have dislocated his damn jaw.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: I bet you won't grab my figure. I wasn't thirteen.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: If you slap myself, If you slap yourself with this
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: foot I got, you're gonna knock your mother ass out,
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Cause take this big ass thirteen and run across your face.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna put your ass to sleep. That's what you
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: should have done.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: You should have if you got tired of it in
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: freak drop, you should have said, oh and pump just
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: kicked it dead in the yall, and you've never been
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: so mortified.
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: But I didn't say anything.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: I decided to take a break from having sex with
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: this guy because I figured that was my feet. There
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: was more arousement. Well, they was chilling and watching TV.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: He took my socks off and started licking the bottom
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: of my feet. I'd have seen some fine with it
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: the money. I've never met nobody, so damn fine, Well,
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: I'm just licking the bottom. You have walked in there
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: to the bathroom and came back in here. I'll be
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: damn if I it up here and run the risk
- 1:02:01Speaker 4: of getting pine salt and locks all all over. I
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: got a little tidy bowl on the bottom of your foot. Hoot,
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: So now I'm tripping. Then you tried to pull away,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: but he had a vice grip hold, and I could
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: see that he was very aroused.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Now this is crazy.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: Now he'd have grabbed your foot so hard you couldn't
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: jerk away from it.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Oh, this dude got damn problem and he aroused. Now
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: he's standing down with your foot in his hand. It's
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: just a lot going on. Stay away from that steam.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: Yes, it was time we had a conversation about this
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: foot fetish. He admitted that he was very attracted to
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: me when we first met, primarily because of my feet
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: and white toenail polish.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: You just switched that to black immediately.
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: I told him, let's right, what I'm switch that white
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: polish to black immediately. Feel like, yeah, maybe he might
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: have a different reaction or something.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Right here. You got to get that white office immediately,
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: because you look at the bottom of your toes and everything.
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: Y'all.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Y'all, I know you thought that the French Amanda kill
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: was cute, but you got to kill that. You got
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: this Joseph or Red or something you got, I don't know.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: What you gonna do, But you gotta try something.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: You gotta get this white off.
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: I told him he was weird, and he said he'd
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: get back in counseling if I promise not to break
- 1:03:30Speaker 4: the whoa, you.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Gonna get back.
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: So now you're ain't gonna asked and ben the counsel
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: because this to been a problem before. You'd have scared
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: one of them women so bad she didn't have your
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: ass committee, so.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: You'd have already been to counselor Lady, listen to me.
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: If he can go to counseling and fix this problem,
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: you might have a good relationship.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: But I don't know what you need to do.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: I don't know what if you need to remove your toenails,
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: I don't know what.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: You're gonna have to do.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: I don't know what you got to do to make
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: them start making them look like they hate feet or something,
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: you know, make them look like some rings on your
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: toes hand, Put some change around your foot?
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: What what?
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: What's some change round your foot? Make it look like
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: a neck. You got to throw his ass off, some
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: kind of because they see their fair feet, they wrap

- 1:18:06Speaker 4: You know something, I was having a conversation yesterday with
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: an employee of mine, and you know, I was debating
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: on whether I was going to share uth with you
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: or not.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: But you know, it is what it is.
- 1:18:26Speaker 11: I just.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: I oftentimes I wonder and you may be wondering the
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: same thing.
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: While your life has so many bends in it, so
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: many peaks and valleys and curves and angles, and well,
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: you know, Steve Harvey, it's just like everybody else's life.
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Yours ain't gonna be no different. It's just, you know,
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: all of us are at different levels. But if the
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: being is the being, the peak is the peak, and
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: the valley is the valley. No matter how high your
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: peak is, if I'm on my highest peak, that's the
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: highest point in life.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: I'm well, that's my peak. I was talking with an employee.
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: And he had a friend with him, and he was
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: up taking the tour of the lot and stuff, and
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: he stood there and he said, wow, oh, man, Steve Harvey, Man,
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: I've always wanted to meet you.
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: It's such an honor, sir. He's a young guy about
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: twenty four, real respectful, He said, such.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: An honor to meet you, sir. Man. Man, I wish
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: my mom could see me talking to you. I said,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: that's good.
- 1:19:35Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: I said, let's take a picture. Man, So your mom
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: kne you was with me? Oh, Man, would you so?
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: I said, yeah, So I took a picture with him.
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: He said, mister Harvey, can I ask you something?
- 1:19:45Speaker 11: Man?
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: I mean, you seem like you real cool? I said, Man,
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: I was just joking. And I said, Man, I've been
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: cool my whole life. I said, I'm just really, really
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: a cool person. He said, yeah you are. He said, Man,
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: you ain't nothing like what people say you are. And
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: I said, yeah, I know, Man, I hear that a lot.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: I said.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: People who know me, they know me. The people who
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: don't know me, they don't know me. He said, mister Harvey,
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: how do you deal with that?
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: How do you.
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: Let all these people just say all the things they
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: saying about you? And I want to not say this
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: for me, but I want to say this to all
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: of you, For all of you out there who experience
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: haters or whatever, level your life is because we all
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: got them. All you got to do is be about something,
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: and here they come. All you've got to do is
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: try to improve your lot in life, and here they come.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: All you got to do is.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: Wan't mown your job than what everybody else, And here
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: they come. All you got to do is get in
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: the relationship that they don't have, and here they come.
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: All you got to do is put in for the
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: promotion that they know they ain't even qualified for. But
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: you put it in, and all of a sudden, here
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: they come. The reasons for haters can go on and
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: on and on. But the young man asked me, said,
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: how do you deal with that? I said, because listen
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: to me. If a person Martin Luther King said, a
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: person can't ride your back unless you bend over. I
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: refuse to bend over. Why why would I?
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: I said?
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: In another thing, young man, these people, and it's not
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: that many from my standpoint. It may be man, they
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: just be talking about you, But really, in the total
- 1:21:36Speaker 4: scheme of things, y'all, your haters ain't that many.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: They just loud. They just loud.
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: Hate is louder in love. But who you are, what
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: God has done for you where God is taking you.
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: What God provides with you is way bigger than a
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: couple of notes from some haters who don't even have
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: courage to share their name with you because they got
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: a fake page.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: They don't even have the guts to put their picture
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: on it. They just a name.
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: So I said, young man, I said, it don't really
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: phaze me that way. I said, I don't give anybody
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: that much power over me. I said, how would I
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: allow these people to break me when these people didn't
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: make me? He said, Wow, man, you really feel that way?
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: He said, Man, because I was expecting to meet you,
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: and I thought you was gonna be down and depressed
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: because you know, a lot of stuff been happening. Man,
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: that whole thing with He's just saying all that stuff.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: And now, man, people don't don't don't want to hear
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: what you got to say about sleeping.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: He said, So, mister Harvey, let me ask you this.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: Do you really think you can't get rich sleep in
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: eight hours?
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: I said, well, son, let me help you understand something,
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: he said. He said, for mister Harvey, they say this,
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: what was funny? He said, mister Harvey, they say that
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: you rather shooes wealth over health. I said, no, I'd
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: rather be healthy any day. But if you don't get
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: eight hours, you're not gonna be healthy. Mister Harvey, I said, son,
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: I know a lot of people that sleep eight hours
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: and they sick. I said, so, son, listen to me, Man,
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: don't let people shape your mind with thirty seconds sound
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: base bites. I said, you can go get all the
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: sleep you want. I said, you can sleep eight hours,
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: you can sleep ten hours.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: I said, man, go on and do you.
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: I say, but if you could get rich like that,
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: I said, man, just write a book because it would
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: help a lot of people. He said with mister Harvey.
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: Somebody said, Oprah Winfrey says she get eight hours sleep.
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: I said, well, son, Oprah Winthy ain't rich. Oprah Winfrey's
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: not rich, She's wealthy. She got money coming here. Why
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: she's sleep. For those of us that are rich, that
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: are in the constant grind and hustle to remain rich,
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: because rich is as fleeting as it is, as it
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: is as you.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: Spend it, I said, it just takes a little bit longer.
- 1:23:59Speaker 7: Son.
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: I said, hey, man, don't let a lot of people
- 1:24:01Speaker 4: shape who you are. Get focused on who you are,
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: put your faith in God and know who you are
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: and going about your business because in this world we
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: live in today, a lot of small minded people got
- 1:24:12Speaker 4: a whole lot of opinions and it's just a bunch
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: of help. But don't worry about it. Do you trust
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: in God and stay you? He said, ma'am, mister Harvey,
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: I'm gonna do that. I say cool because I'm gonna
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: do the same. Just wanted to get that to y'all
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: in case you got some haters in your life, and
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: I'm sure you do have yourself a great week, can't okay?
