- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz. Ben Ferguson with you, Senator.
- 0:05Speaker 2: One of the best things about getting to do this
- 0:07Speaker 2: show is having on brilliant minds from within the administration
- 0:12Speaker 2: who get to talk directly the American people. And today
- 0:14Speaker 2: we get to have another very special guest, a.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Good friend of yours.
- 0:18Speaker 2: The Borders Are is joining us and I'll let you
- 0:21Speaker 2: take it from there.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Well, Tom Homan is serving as President Trump's Borders Are.
- 0:26Speaker 3: He is the former acting director of the US Immigration
- 0:29Speaker 3: and Customs Enforcement and he has been borders Are since
- 0:33Speaker 3: Trump resumed office as president. His formal title, which I like,
- 0:38Speaker 3: is what White House Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and
- 0:43Speaker 3: Removal Operations. And to be clear, his job is to
- 0:46Speaker 3: secure the border, keep US safe, and remove dangerous illegal aliens.
- 0:51Speaker 3: He's doing a hell of a job. Tom, Welcome to Verdict.
- 0:54Speaker 4: Thanks for having me.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So let's start with just how are we doing?
- 1:00Speaker 3: And we're four months in, almost five months into the
- 1:03Speaker 3: Trump presidency. How are we doing? Tell us what has
- 1:07Speaker 3: happened since President Trump became president again?
- 1:10Speaker 1: On the border?
- 1:11Speaker 4: Well, President Trump today, where I'm talking to today san
- 1:14Speaker 4: Or the Cruz. We have the most secure border in
- 1:18Speaker 4: the history of this nation. Today, the most secure board ever.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I mean we even beat Trump forty five. Well, we
- 1:24Speaker 4: hand the Biden administration's most secure boarder ever ahead of
- 1:27Speaker 4: that time. But the Dad is even better now. And
- 1:30Speaker 4: let me give you a few numbers, just a few numbers.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Under Biden administration, we were dealing with ten eleven thousand,
- 1:36Speaker 4: even a few times fifteen thousand aliens to day yesterday
- 1:41Speaker 4: it was two hundred and eleven. We went from thirteen
- 1:44Speaker 4: fourteen thousand to two hundred and eleven.
- 1:48Speaker 1: And that's across the entire southwest border.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Yes, gotaways under Biden an average gotaway day and under
- 1:55Speaker 4: Biden was eighteen hundred plus eighteen hundred plus got aways
- 2:00Speaker 4: yesterday thirty nine.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:03Speaker 4: And then the most impressive number the first one hundred
- 2:06Speaker 4: days on President Trump compared to the first the same
- 2:10Speaker 4: time period last year under Biden, Biden released over one
- 2:13Speaker 4: hundred and eighty four thousand illegal animates in this country.
- 2:18Speaker 4: The Trump administration one there was nine releases. But for
- 2:23Speaker 4: more material witnesses. As you know, we want them to
- 2:25Speaker 4: come here to testifying the Carpol troal so form we
- 2:28Speaker 4: want to command four came across the border in such
- 2:31Speaker 4: bad shape that we had to call an ambulance and
- 2:33Speaker 4: take care of the medical needs. We had allowment insided
- 2:36Speaker 4: medical treatment, but we had one one discretionary release compared
- 2:41Speaker 4: to one hundred and eighty four thousand released under the
- 2:44Speaker 4: same time period. Are in biden most secure border history
- 2:47Speaker 4: of nation. Interior enforcement offerings ices arrested three times more
- 2:51Speaker 4: criminals than Biden did during the same time period. We
- 2:54Speaker 4: got more to rest, We got many more to rest,
- 2:57Speaker 4: but they're already hitting the ball out of park. Don't
- 3:00Speaker 4: keep doing it when you do more of it. And
- 3:02Speaker 4: we're hoping for a budget real soon here so we
- 3:04Speaker 4: can step up efforts there. But it's it's game changing.
- 3:07Speaker 4: President Trump's been a game changer, and the men and women,
- 3:10Speaker 4: vice and men, women, barb stood up taking on the
- 3:12Speaker 4: task and cousindent. Trump did in seven weeks, but Joe
- 3:15Speaker 4: Biden couldn't or wouldn't do in four years.
- 3:17Speaker 3: My favorite line from from President Trump's most recent State
- 3:20Speaker 3: of the Union address it is when he said, you know,
- 3:24Speaker 3: Joe Biden stood here a year ago and said that
- 3:26Speaker 3: he couldn't secure the border without new legislation passing Congress
- 3:30Speaker 3: and then Trump said, it turns out we didn't need
- 3:33Speaker 3: new legislation, We just needed a new president and and.
- 3:36Speaker 1: And that's powerfully true.
- 3:38Speaker 3: So let me ask just just a simple question for
- 3:40Speaker 3: those Look, you're you're an immigration expert, but for someone
- 3:44Speaker 3: at home, how did the numbers drop so precipitously? What
- 3:48Speaker 3: specifically are y'all doing differently than than what Joe Biden,
- 3:53Speaker 3: Kamala Harris did.
- 3:55Speaker 4: The biggest thing we've done is a president's executive orders
- 3:57Speaker 4: that are We're a game changer, remain EXCO a game changer.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I have the third State Country Agreements a game changer,
- 4:06Speaker 4: and finally ending catcher release. People know you come to
- 4:09Speaker 4: a border, now you're not being released, and we're just
- 4:12Speaker 4: followed the law because, as you know, under federal statue,
- 4:16Speaker 4: an alien arrives at our border without proper documentation to
- 4:19Speaker 4: enter the language is you shall be detained. Now maybe
- 4:23Speaker 4: not thinking about it, not problem shall And that's exactly
- 4:26Speaker 4: where we're doing. Those street things, by themselves have been
- 4:29Speaker 4: a major game changer, and all three of them were
- 4:32Speaker 4: EXCO lords by.
- 4:33Speaker 2: President Trump's I want to talk to you real quick
- 4:35Speaker 2: about the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews most of us,
- 4:38Speaker 2: when we go to bed at night, we don't have
- 4:40Speaker 2: to worry about there being an explosion that awakes us
- 4:43Speaker 2: in the middle of the evening. We climb into our beds,
- 4:45Speaker 2: we turn off the lights, and we sleep in relative safety.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But the people of Israel are facing NonStop threats on
- 4:53Speaker 2: seven different fronts. They do have a red alert system
- 4:56Speaker 2: to warn of incoming attacks, and last month or it's
- 5:00Speaker 2: blared nearly fifty times every single day, something we can
- 5:05Speaker 2: imagine living with the toll on families and first responders
- 5:08Speaker 2: is brutal and right now, Israel's first responders are facing
- 5:12Speaker 2: an urgent need life saving supplies that are running low,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and that's why the work of the International Fellowship of
- 5:18Speaker 2: Christians and Jews is so critical. Your gift of only
- 5:22Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty dollars will help provide first responders
- 5:25Speaker 2: with helmets, flat jackets, medical rescue bags, and even armored
- 5:30Speaker 2: service vehicles to keep people alive. Your gift is urgently needed,
- 5:35Speaker 2: and if you want to stand with the people of Israel,
- 5:37Speaker 2: you can call eight to eight four eight eight IFCJ
- 5:41Speaker 2: that's eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five.
- 5:46Speaker 2: You can also give securely online at IFCJ dot org.
- 5:51Speaker 1: That's IFCJ dot org.
- 5:54Speaker 2: You mentioned budget a moment ago and how important it
- 5:57Speaker 2: is to have the budget for you guys to continue
- 5:59Speaker 2: your job.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Explain for everyone listening.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Is that referencing that the big beautiful bill and what
- 6:05Speaker 2: is in there that you need so much to continue
- 6:08Speaker 2: to do your job at the border.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Well, we want to make the border secure permanently, so
- 6:12Speaker 4: we need more infrastructure, right, so we need to finish
- 6:15Speaker 4: building that wall. Now, let's be clear, every place they
- 6:17Speaker 4: build a border barrier, illegal migrations went down, illegal drug
- 6:21Speaker 4: flow went down, But most important walls save lives. Women
- 6:25Speaker 4: and children can't get over that wall, the most vulnerable,
- 6:27Speaker 4: so they go to a place so there's not a
- 6:29Speaker 4: wall on what's waiting on them the men and women
- 6:31Speaker 4: of the Borderatrol first of all. So the ball saves lives.
- 6:34Speaker 4: So we need to finish the border barrier. We need
- 6:36Speaker 4: money to finish the technology within the existing border wall,
- 6:39Speaker 4: because not only did President by And stop the construction
- 6:42Speaker 4: of the wall, he stopped adding the technology in that
- 6:45Speaker 4: smart wall, technology that lets us know how someone climbs
- 6:48Speaker 4: that wall, touch this wall, dig under that wall. Technology
- 6:50Speaker 4: where borbitual agents in the middle of nowhere can get
- 6:53Speaker 4: on the radio and use the wall as a repeater
- 6:55Speaker 4: to talk to other agents for help. There are some
- 6:57Speaker 4: places on the southern border where they lose all community.
- 7:00Speaker 4: So all that technology needs to be done. More technology yet,
- 7:03Speaker 4: portive entries to make sure no Ventana's coming through. And
- 7:07Speaker 4: as far as the entire enforcement, we need beds. Right now.
- 7:10Speaker 4: We got about fifty two thousand people in detention. We're
- 7:13Speaker 4: funder that thirty four thousand ICE is already in the hole.
- 7:16Speaker 4: We need about one hundred thousand beds because everybody we
- 7:19Speaker 4: arrest needs a bet. We just don't rest abody in
- 7:22Speaker 4: New York City and put them on a plane leave.
- 7:24Speaker 4: We got detained for several days or several weeks, to
- 7:26Speaker 4: get travel doctrines, get flight flight arrangements, flight finances. So
- 7:30Speaker 4: we need bets. So we need you know, so this budget,
- 7:33Speaker 4: that depending budget right now, the Big beautiful Bill will
- 7:35Speaker 4: give us money for those beds. They're going to give
- 7:37Speaker 4: us thousands of more borbitiacens, thousands more ICE agents. It's
- 7:41Speaker 4: going to give ICE a budget to bring in more
- 7:44Speaker 4: contracts up. What I mean by that badgers and guns
- 7:46Speaker 4: shouldn't be sitting at a desk doing reports of processing.
- 7:52Speaker 4: They shouldn't be sitting at a desk doing travel documents
- 7:54Speaker 4: and all the all the administrative duties that occur within ice.
- 7:58Speaker 4: You can have a contract to sitting there doing that work.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Give that badging gun, get them out on the street
- 8:03Speaker 4: to arrest the public safety thrusts and national security threats.
- 8:06Speaker 4: So we needed the money to Like I said, we're
- 8:08Speaker 4: doing more than Biden did, but Biden wasn't doing anything.
- 8:11Speaker 4: We need to do ten times more than buying it too,
- 8:13Speaker 4: not three times more. And I'll leave you with this.
- 8:15Speaker 4: We got seven hundred thousand illegal aliens in this country
- 8:18Speaker 4: with a criminal conviction walking the streets this country. We
- 8:21Speaker 4: got to get them. We got to get it quickly.
- 8:23Speaker 4: We got one point four man illegal aliens who do
- 8:26Speaker 4: have due process, a great taxpayer expense. We're ordered removed
- 8:29Speaker 4: by a federal judge and didn't leave and they become fusitives.
- 8:32Speaker 4: We got a lot of work to do, and we
- 8:34Speaker 4: need money to do more. We're doing good, but more
- 8:37Speaker 4: money we have, the more we can do well.
- 8:39Speaker 3: And Ben I'll say this that Congress, we will get
- 8:42Speaker 3: this Reconciliation bill passed. It's gonna take time, it's gonna
- 8:45Speaker 3: be bumpy, but we'll get it done. And when we
- 8:47Speaker 3: get it done, we're gonna have funding to build the wall.
- 8:50Speaker 3: We're gonna have funding for technology on the wall. We're
- 8:52Speaker 3: gonna have funding for more border patrol agents. We're gonna
- 8:54Speaker 3: have funding for more ice agents. We're gonna have funding
- 8:56Speaker 3: for more detention beds. We're gonna have funding for more
- 8:59Speaker 3: fixed wing and rhetory way aircraft. We're going to have
- 9:01Speaker 3: funding for more drones and more infrared and technology. We
- 9:05Speaker 3: are stepping in now. It's going to take a little
- 9:06Speaker 3: bit of time to get the bill across the finish line,
- 9:09Speaker 3: but I'm confident we'll do it. And I will say
- 9:12Speaker 3: it really underscores something we've said on Verdict many times,
- 9:16Speaker 3: which is the most important factor in securing the border.
- 9:19Speaker 3: And this is what Tom said just a minute ago.
- 9:22Speaker 3: It is a policy decision, and it is a decision
- 9:25Speaker 3: what happens when you apprehend an illegal immigrant. And if
- 9:28Speaker 3: the answer is you put them on a plane and
- 9:32Speaker 3: you fly them back home. They all have cell phones.
- 9:34Speaker 3: They pick up their phones and they call home and
- 9:36Speaker 3: they say don't come. They're not letting you stay. And
- 9:39Speaker 3: the flip side is true if when you apprehend them,
- 9:42Speaker 3: you let them go. You say what city do you
- 9:44Speaker 3: want to go to? And you put them on a plane,
- 9:45Speaker 3: you put them on a bus, and you let them
- 9:47Speaker 3: go in every city in America, which is what Joe
- 9:48Speaker 3: Biden was doing. Again, they all have phones. They pick
- 9:52Speaker 3: up the phone, they call their friends and family, and
- 9:54Speaker 3: the numbers skyrocket. And so when President Trump left office
- 10:00Speaker 3: the first time he had produced the lowest rate of
- 10:03Speaker 3: illegal immigration in forty five years. That's what Joe Biden inherited.
- 10:07Speaker 3: It immediately skyrocketed to the worst rate of illegal immigration
- 10:11Speaker 3: in history. Joe Biden allowed twelve million of the illegal
- 10:15Speaker 3: immigrants to come into this country. And regular listeners of
- 10:19Speaker 3: Verdict will recall I predicted, I said, we will see
- 10:22Speaker 3: the numbers plummet. And it won't take a year, it
- 10:26Speaker 3: won't even take six months. It will happen immediately, because
- 10:30Speaker 3: on day one, catch and release is going to end,
- 10:32Speaker 3: and we're going to see the numbers plummet. Now all
- 10:34Speaker 3: that being said, Tom, let me ask you honestly, I
- 10:37Speaker 3: will admit I predicted loudly that the numbers would plummet.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I'll confess. I didn't think they'd drop over ninety nine percent.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Are you I'm surprised at just how massive the success is.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Are you a little bit surprised or.
- 10:52Speaker 4: No, I'm not surprised for all the success. I'm surprised
- 10:56Speaker 4: how fast that happened. When President Trump, when he called me,
- 10:59Speaker 4: asked me to be the borders our course, I didn't.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Has Dak came back and the first meeting who he had,
- 11:03Speaker 4: he asked me, how long will it take you down
- 11:05Speaker 4: the secure the border? I says, sir, I need I
- 11:07Speaker 4: need at least one hundred and twenty days. He says, well,
- 11:10Speaker 4: I get a ninety. I said, sir, I'll respect one
- 11:12Speaker 4: hundred and twenty days, even pushing that we did this
- 11:16Speaker 4: in seven weeks. Seven weeks numbers already down. Yep, ninety.
- 11:20Speaker 4: And you're exactly right. Everything you said is right. But
- 11:22Speaker 4: I want to add one thing. When Joe Biden opened
- 11:24Speaker 4: that border up, he's the first president in the history
- 11:27Speaker 4: of this nation who came into office and unsecured a
- 11:30Speaker 4: border on purpose. This wasn't mismanagement, this wasn't incompetence. He
- 11:34Speaker 4: ran on open borders, and that's exactly what he did.
- 11:38Speaker 4: You know. So when you tell the whole world enter
- 11:40Speaker 4: the country legally, don't worry about it. We're going to
- 11:42Speaker 4: release you anyways. And when you got a secondary of
- 11:44Speaker 4: ma orcust on ice. You can't arrest somebody for being
- 11:47Speaker 4: here illegally unless they got a serious criminal conviction. The
- 11:50Speaker 4: whole world's going to come. You can cross the border illegally.
- 11:53Speaker 4: You get released in twenty four hours. We won't give
- 11:55Speaker 4: you a free plane ticket to the city of your choice.
- 11:57Speaker 4: We're going to put you in a free hotel room.
- 11:59Speaker 4: We're going to give you three meals a day. We're
- 12:01Speaker 4: going to give you free medical attention. And guess what,
- 12:04Speaker 4: hanging out for one hundred and twenty days, We're gonna
- 12:05Speaker 4: give you a work assization. The very reason they came
- 12:07Speaker 4: Hery not because of asylum, because they wanted a job. So
- 12:10Speaker 4: Biden did what he did, I'm purposed, and President Trump
- 12:14Speaker 4: came back in seven weeks again seven weeks did what
- 12:18Speaker 4: Joe Biden couldn't do or wouldn't do.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Repeat the numbers you said about how many illegals are
- 12:24Speaker 3: in the US right now who have criminal convictions, and
- 12:27Speaker 3: to be clear, these are convictions for crimes other than
- 12:29Speaker 3: crossing illegally into the country. Every illegal has committed that crime,
- 12:33Speaker 3: But how many have convictions for murder, for rape, for
- 12:37Speaker 3: other crimes other than crossing the border illegally.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Just under seven hundred thousand.
- 12:43Speaker 3: I mean, that is a stunning number. And what you're saying,
- 12:47Speaker 3: and I agree with you, is is that Joe Biden
- 12:50Speaker 3: deliberately chose We're going to leave murderers here, We're going
- 12:54Speaker 3: to leave rapists in America, We're going to leave child
- 12:57Speaker 3: molesters in America. We're not going to send ice to
- 13:00Speaker 3: arrest them, We're not going to pick them up, we're
- 13:01Speaker 3: not going to deport them. That they put partisan politics
- 13:05Speaker 3: above protecting American families, about protecting our kids.
- 13:10Speaker 4: That's why I woke up four years pissed off every morning.
- 13:14Speaker 4: President Trump when he called me, asked me to come back,
- 13:16Speaker 4: and he said to me, we've been E've been bitching
- 13:18Speaker 4: about it for four years. Want to come back and
- 13:19Speaker 4: fix it. And I did because I knew every morning
- 13:22Speaker 4: I wake up, and Senator you know this just as
- 13:24Speaker 4: well as I do. I knew every morning when I
- 13:26Speaker 4: woke up, how many children died acrossing the borders last night,
- 13:29Speaker 4: how many women got sexually assaulted. How many people on
- 13:32Speaker 4: Terrace Roster's got across the border. How many women and
- 13:34Speaker 4: children were sex traffick in this country? How many billions
- 13:37Speaker 4: of dollars in the cartels make how many Americans died
- 13:40Speaker 4: in the last twenty four hours from Fetannah coming across
- 13:42Speaker 4: the open border for four years, I was pissed off.
- 13:45Speaker 4: President Trump came back, like I said, in seven weeks.
- 13:48Speaker 4: We had a border down ninety percent in seven weeks.
- 13:50Speaker 4: So you know, just like you said, it was a
- 13:53Speaker 4: matter of President the matter enforce the law. You know,
- 13:56Speaker 4: I'll tell you it's center cruise. And you know, every
- 13:58Speaker 4: time I seen the meeting, every time I see you
- 14:01Speaker 4: in the meeting, I call you out. I call you
- 14:03Speaker 4: out because you've been a tip of the speer on
- 14:04Speaker 4: this thing. I appreciate your working us. You're from Texas,
- 14:08Speaker 4: you know, And God bless Governor Abbit. Governor Abbitt did
- 14:11Speaker 4: he was more of a Secretary of Homeland Security moral
- 14:13Speaker 4: it's ever been wherever it's thought of being, so, God
- 14:15Speaker 4: blessed date of Texas. They took the first rail on
- 14:18Speaker 4: this And again, I can't thank you enough. Every time
- 14:20Speaker 4: I see I call you out. Thank you for being
- 14:22Speaker 4: the tip of the spear. I see you everywhere wanting
- 14:25Speaker 4: the secure border, and you're fighting hard for me, and
- 14:27Speaker 4: you're fighting hard for the men and women the border
- 14:29Speaker 4: toe You're fighting hard for the men and women of Ice.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I love each and every one of those men and
- 14:33Speaker 4: put their live on line for this country every day,
- 14:36Speaker 4: men and women, and I appreciate your fight for them.
- 14:38Speaker 4: You've had their six and day one, and I love
- 14:41Speaker 4: you for it. I appreciate it.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Well, Tom, let me thank you for that. I appreciate that,
- 14:45Speaker 3: and I appreciate your passion and commitment. You were You're
- 14:48Speaker 3: showing up, and you said something that I think is
- 14:50Speaker 3: really important for our listeners to understand. You and President
- 14:54Speaker 3: Trump right now are quite literally saving lives. You are
- 14:58Speaker 3: saving lives. There are Americans, and there are significant number
- 15:02Speaker 3: of Americans who are alive today because a violent criminal
- 15:08Speaker 3: did not cross the border, was not released, and didn't
- 15:11Speaker 3: murder them. There are women who have not been raped
- 15:14Speaker 3: because you've stopped the Biden practice of releasing rapists. There
- 15:18Speaker 3: are children and the number of children who haven't been
- 15:22Speaker 3: physically and sexually assaulted by human traffickers. It is already
- 15:27Speaker 3: I think well into the thousands. And I want you
- 15:30Speaker 3: to think about that. Thousands of little girls, thousands of
- 15:33Speaker 3: little boys have not been violently, repeatedly raped by human traffickers.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Why because President Trump came in and because you've been
- 15:43Speaker 3: the borders are implementing it and secured the border, and
- 15:46Speaker 3: those kids are no longer being trafficked. That is a
- 15:49Speaker 3: profound legacy in just four or five months.
- 15:53Speaker 4: And let me go one step further. Of Trump asked
- 15:57Speaker 4: me to do three things. Security border, run the large
- 15:59Speaker 4: largest deep rotation offers I've ever seen, and find these
- 16:02Speaker 4: children and buy an administration over half a million children
- 16:05Speaker 4: were smuggling in this country, separated from their family, smuggling
- 16:09Speaker 4: this country and put in the hands of sponsors, many
- 16:12Speaker 4: unvetter sponsors. The last administration lost track of three hundred
- 16:16Speaker 4: thousand of them. Doesn't Trumps committed to finding as many
- 16:18Speaker 4: as you can. We've already found over seventy five hundred
- 16:21Speaker 4: of them. Wow. Some of thee were fir free, safe
- 16:24Speaker 4: with family, some were perfectly safe, and some weren't. Example
- 16:27Speaker 4: just there for yes, say a fourteen year old little
- 16:29Speaker 4: girl already to sex traffic, was pregnant living with two
- 16:32Speaker 4: men who are trafficking there where were going to prison
- 16:35Speaker 4: and we're helping that little girl. So we're going to
- 16:37Speaker 4: rescue every one of these little girls and make sure
- 16:40Speaker 4: that they're safe because so many of them are going
- 16:42Speaker 4: to be okay with family members. They just didn't respond
- 16:44Speaker 4: to problems or so forth. But many, I guarantee, I've
- 16:47Speaker 4: been doing this for over forty years. Many of them
- 16:49Speaker 4: are in sex trafficking, many of them are in forced labor,
- 16:53Speaker 4: living a life of hell every day. We're committed to
- 16:55Speaker 4: find every one of these little children and making sure
- 16:58Speaker 4: they're safe.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You mentioned finding them all. Let's talk about sanctuary cities
- 17:03Speaker 2: for a second. It's very clear Democrats are not backing
- 17:06Speaker 2: off of that. How dangerous is the policy and and
- 17:10Speaker 2: and who is being harbored in these cities that are
- 17:13Speaker 2: refusing to work with you guys? Will there be accountability?
- 17:17Speaker 2: Are they harboring MS thirteen gang members and domestic terrorists,
- 17:21Speaker 2: foreign terrorists? Uh, those that are putting the fetnol out
- 17:24Speaker 2: in society. How dangerous are these cities?
- 17:28Speaker 4: Well, they're the dangerous, the dangerous for everybody because in
- 17:31Speaker 4: the sanctuary city means you don't have access to the jail.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Arrust A bad guy public safety threat in the safety
- 17:36Speaker 4: and security of the jail, where the alien safe, the
- 17:39Speaker 4: officers safe, on the public safe. When sanctuary cities knowingly
- 17:43Speaker 4: released a public safety a threat back in the street,
- 17:46Speaker 4: it certainly puts the community at risk. He even puts
- 17:48Speaker 4: the alien at risk because anything can happen during the
- 17:51Speaker 4: street arrest and great it puts the officers that great
- 17:53Speaker 4: risk because now we've got to arrest a criminal alien
- 17:55Speaker 4: public safety threat on his turf. We as access to
- 17:58Speaker 4: who knows what weapons. It's very dangerous and yest will
- 18:01Speaker 4: host sanctuary cities accountable. Its pam binding has already fought
- 18:04Speaker 4: lawsuits against several Uh, we're we're we're working with DJ
- 18:08Speaker 4: now again. We want we want where's that right, where's
- 18:12Speaker 4: that where's that line? Where when do you cross that line?
- 18:15Speaker 4: You can sit there and watch ICE do your job.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Because here's what irritates me the most. I don't care
- 18:20Speaker 4: what party you're in. If you're an elected mayor, elect,
- 18:24Speaker 4: a city council person, or elected governor, your number one
- 18:28Speaker 4: responsibility it's the safety and security of your neighborhoods, your communities.
- 18:33Speaker 4: ICE has been cleared from the beginning with President Trump
- 18:36Speaker 4: we're going to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Why will you not help us make your community safer.
- 18:44Speaker 4: There's no downside on that. And the sanctuary cities want
- 18:47Speaker 4: to argue what we're a sanctuary city because we want
- 18:50Speaker 4: victims and witnesses of crime, if they're illegally United States
- 18:53Speaker 4: to feel comfortable coming to the law enforcement without fear
- 18:56Speaker 4: of working with ICE. That is a bunch of crap victims,
- 18:59Speaker 4: and this is a crime. Don't want the bad guy
- 19:02Speaker 4: in the neighborhood either. And as far as the illegal
- 19:05Speaker 4: alien community, I'll say this, despite being here illegally, many
- 19:09Speaker 4: of them are god fearing family people. They don't want
- 19:12Speaker 4: a pretor in the neighborhood either. They don't want someone
- 19:15Speaker 4: to commit to DUI ten times driving to their neighborhood either.
- 19:18Speaker 4: So you know, if you go to the immigrant community
- 19:20Speaker 4: and ask the one simple question, would you rather have
- 19:23Speaker 4: ICE operating in the jail or in your community, what
- 19:25Speaker 4: do you think they're gonna say. They're gonna say to jail.
- 19:28Speaker 4: So sanctuousities will be held accountable. Matter of fact, we're
- 19:30Speaker 4: reissuing the ICE detainer. We just changed the new ICE
- 19:33Speaker 4: detainer We're letting them black and white, let them know
- 19:35Speaker 4: this person is a designated terrorist, this person is a
- 19:38Speaker 4: designated return felon. We're gonna let them know exactly who
- 19:42Speaker 4: there detaining based on biographic and biometric information and see
- 19:46Speaker 4: what they do. Are they gonna violate Relates and Riley Act?
- 19:49Speaker 4: Then we'll go out to prosecution. Now they're going to
- 19:52Speaker 4: know at least a terrorist. Then we're going to go
- 19:54Speaker 4: out to prosecution. So it's about to get a lot
- 19:56Speaker 4: tougher and it's the right thing to do.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Well, And let me ask, how worried are you that
- 20:02Speaker 3: they're a terrorists who came across the southern border in
- 20:05Speaker 3: the last four years, that are out there and that
- 20:08Speaker 3: are planning acts of terror in the United States right now?
- 20:11Speaker 4: I'm convinced we got over two million known guideways. Why
- 20:15Speaker 4: did two million people pay more to get away? They
- 20:19Speaker 4: pay the cartels a lot more money to escape apprehension
- 20:21Speaker 4: and get to New York's Chicago. Whoever, why didn't they
- 20:24Speaker 4: pay less? Why would you pay more to get away?
- 20:28Speaker 4: Because you don't want to be vetted, you don't want
- 20:30Speaker 4: a two things or printed. It's just scared to hell off.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Every American scared as hell on me. Somebody's going to be,
- 20:35Speaker 4: you know, child traffickers. Some of these are Karen patanaw
- 20:38Speaker 4: and some of these are going to be people from
- 20:40Speaker 4: the terrorist sponsored country. Under Joe Biden, we wrest over
- 20:43Speaker 4: four hundred people on terrace. Wass's come in the Southwest border.
- 20:46Speaker 4: If you don't think a single one of the two
- 20:47Speaker 4: manin Godaways didn't come from a country sponsoring terror, didn't
- 20:50Speaker 4: come here to do us harm, then you're just crazy.
- 20:53Speaker 4: As you know it was what was it? Just not
- 20:56Speaker 4: a few months ago we arrested eight that we're paying
- 21:00Speaker 4: a terrorist attack, a Russian type terrorist tack the United States.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Luckily a tellison community call him on some chair and
- 21:05Speaker 4: we are able to arrest them. But we're not perfect
- 21:08Speaker 4: intelligence community. It's imperfect. They weren't perfect in Afghanistan. They
- 21:12Speaker 4: weren't perfect on a lot of things. So God help us.
- 21:15Speaker 4: I think they're here just intelligent port stander here. We
- 21:18Speaker 4: know where some aren't being monitored, but we don't know
- 21:21Speaker 4: where others are. So that scares the hell on me.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Well, And as you know, Chris Ray, the former director
- 21:25Speaker 3: of the FBI, every few months would come to Congress,
- 21:28Speaker 3: and he would do everything but set off an alarm
- 21:31Speaker 3: and bang a drum to say we are at major
- 21:34Speaker 3: risk of a terrorist attack from the open borders. Hamas
- 21:37Speaker 3: and Hezbelah have declared jahads on America. As you know,
- 21:41Speaker 3: the border patrol under Joe Biden was advised beyond on
- 21:45Speaker 3: the lookout for Hamas has Blo and Palestinian Islamic Jehad
- 21:48Speaker 3: terrorists coming across the southern border. And one of the things,
- 21:52Speaker 3: Tommy you said that was really important. Of the twelve
- 21:53Speaker 3: million illegal immigrants that came under Joe Biden, roughly two
- 21:57Speaker 3: million of those were god aways. That's by far the
- 21:59Speaker 3: most troubling of all those folks. The other ten million
- 22:02Speaker 3: are people who are apprehended, and apprehended in many instances
- 22:06Speaker 3: is the wrong term, because as you know, and I've
- 22:09Speaker 3: spent a lot of time down on the southern border,
- 22:11Speaker 3: I almost always go out on midnight patrol with the
- 22:14Speaker 3: border patrol agents. When I'm there, Apprehended doesn't even characterize
- 22:18Speaker 3: what they were doing. Most nights, people would cross the
- 22:21Speaker 3: border and they'd go look for a border patrol agent
- 22:23Speaker 3: and actively turn themselves in because the result would be
- 22:27Speaker 3: that Joe Biden would say where do you want to go,
- 22:30Speaker 3: and would fly them to wherever they wanted to be. Literally,
- 22:33Speaker 3: the Biden administration was the last mile of the human
- 22:35Speaker 3: trafficking network. But Tom, what you said is exactly right.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Those two million guidaways are much more likely to be
- 22:43Speaker 3: violent criminals, much more likely to be murderers or rapist
- 22:46Speaker 3: or child molesters, much more likely to be MS thirteen
- 22:50Speaker 3: gang members, much more likely.
- 22:52Speaker 1: To be terrorist.
- 22:53Speaker 3: And that's the population that is most worrisome. And speaking
- 22:57Speaker 3: of MS thirteen gang members, I thought politics could not
- 23:01Speaker 3: get weirder. The Democrats have decided to go all in,
- 23:05Speaker 3: making their central party platform be that we should admit
- 23:10Speaker 3: more illegal aliens, and in particular, we want more Venezuelan
- 23:14Speaker 3: gang members MS thirteen gang members here. And they decided
- 23:18Speaker 3: that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is their poster child for the
- 23:21Speaker 3: Democrat Party. Tom, how confident to tell us about Abrego Garcia?
- 23:26Speaker 3: How confident are you that he's a gang member, that
- 23:29Speaker 3: he's a criminal.
- 23:30Speaker 4: I'm very confident, and I've talked to the head of
- 23:34Speaker 4: Vice numerous times. People are understanding, So he got no
- 23:37Speaker 4: due process, Yes he did. He got due process from
- 23:39Speaker 4: two different federal judges who said he's at the United States,
- 23:43Speaker 4: a citizen Al Salvador, and he gave up order of deportation.
- 23:47Speaker 4: He had a great two process, a great text. Theyre
- 23:49Speaker 4: spense on top of that men winter ice and they
- 23:51Speaker 4: sent those two plane loads of tdat MS thirteen. Hundreds
- 23:55Speaker 4: and hundreds of hours were spent on every case. They
- 23:58Speaker 4: went to the criminal history the immigration had, They went
- 24:00Speaker 4: to intelligence report, they went to confidential informance statements, they
- 24:04Speaker 4: went to wire taps, they went to a bunch of
- 24:06Speaker 4: stuff to certify these people were members of tvaight MS thirteen.
- 24:12Speaker 4: So they got due process several times. Obrego Garcia's home,
- 24:16Speaker 4: he's a citizen Al Salvador. And for those the Democrats said,
- 24:19Speaker 4: well they made a mistake. I still say it was
- 24:21Speaker 4: a mistake. It was an over temporary Oversecond, here's the
- 24:24Speaker 4: problem he had it withholding order. He had not returned
- 24:27Speaker 4: to Al Salvador because he feared death from the gang.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Two things have changed since that order was given. Number one,
- 24:33Speaker 4: he's a designated terror so that with holding order has
- 24:35Speaker 4: been set aside. Number two, the gang he feared it
- 24:38Speaker 4: no longer exists now Salvador because the great work, President
- 24:41Speaker 4: BUCKETI did there, so the circumstances surround that with holding
- 24:45Speaker 4: order are no longer valid. And here's what would happened.
- 24:48Speaker 4: If somebody was to make this guy return to the
- 24:51Speaker 4: United States, he would be detained and removed the next day,
- 24:54Speaker 4: if not to Al Salvador, to another country. He's not here,
- 24:58Speaker 4: but as President Boukeley said, he is a pre certified
- 25:01Speaker 4: national of Al Salvador. He is home. He is home.
- 25:05Speaker 4: He is a certified Heminister team member, not just by ice,
- 25:08Speaker 4: by local police departments, intelligience reports, Immigration judges in the
- 25:12Speaker 4: country of Al Salvador says he's a eministery team member.
- 25:15Speaker 4: He's home is exactly where he should be. This country,
- 25:18Speaker 4: his wife, his neighborhood is a lot safer because he
- 25:22Speaker 4: locked up.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I want to go back to accountability for a second time,
- 25:25Speaker 2: and I want to ask you there are a lot
- 25:27Speaker 2: of people that believe that there were laws that were
- 25:29Speaker 2: broken deliberately in the last administration. They knew they were
- 25:32Speaker 2: breaking the law. One of those would be former Homeland
- 25:35Speaker 2: Security Secretary. My orc is that you mentioned a moment ago.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Should he be criminally prosecuted for his role in the
- 25:42Speaker 2: border crisis. If it was as deliberate as it now seems.
- 25:47Speaker 4: Look, I think what he did was borderline trees in
- 25:49Speaker 4: this I'm not an attorney, I'm not a prosecutor. But
- 25:52Speaker 4: what he did, he did more damage to this country.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Him and the by the administration. What they did to
- 25:57Speaker 4: this country, I can tell you when they opened that
- 26:00Speaker 4: border up sex trafficking women should to increase tenfold of
- 26:06Speaker 4: a record number of migrants died making that journey. Over
- 26:09Speaker 4: four thousand or record number of Americans died from Fatanah
- 26:12Speaker 4: that come across that open border. And and it's just
- 26:16Speaker 4: what he what he calls this country and from a
- 26:18Speaker 4: national securities perspective, because here's what his orders were, process quick,
- 26:23Speaker 4: release quick. They didn't care about the crisis. They cared
- 26:27Speaker 4: about the optics of the crisis. If there's no overcrowding,
- 26:30Speaker 4: there's nothing to see here. So border trades were processed
- 26:33Speaker 4: as quick as they could, and releases a quick as
- 26:36Speaker 4: they could. And there's been several instances where they released
- 26:39Speaker 4: so quickly the FBI scan didn't come back and and
- 26:43Speaker 4: it came back hot. Actually they already bember released. They
- 26:45Speaker 4: came back hot. As a known spectatorian. So yeah, What
- 26:49Speaker 4: he did was unconsortable. What he did is my opinion,
- 26:53Speaker 4: borderline treason. Is he should be held accountable because a
- 26:57Speaker 4: lot of deaths occurred under his watch. And like, like
- 27:00Speaker 4: Sandra Cruz said a few minutes ago, right now, ninety
- 27:03Speaker 4: six percent decline and illegal immigration when ninety six percent
- 27:07Speaker 4: less people are coming, How many women aren't being raped?
- 27:09Speaker 4: How many children aren't dying crossing that border. How many
- 27:12Speaker 4: no inspected terariors aren't getting in the country. How many
- 27:14Speaker 4: pounds of fatanyl is not getting the country? What are
- 27:16Speaker 4: you going to see in the President Trump's administration? Ventanyl deaths,
- 27:19Speaker 4: a decrease, sex trafficking with decrease, smuggling with decrease, and
- 27:24Speaker 4: no inspected tarors. They got no open night anymore. Now
- 27:27Speaker 4: that we got the board secure, every single borders religion
- 27:30Speaker 4: is on the lying on patrol. During his National security
- 27:34Speaker 4: duty under Joe Biden, it was an average most days,
- 27:37Speaker 4: an average seventy percent seven zero seventy percent of agents
- 27:42Speaker 4: were no longer on patrol. They were changing diapers, making
- 27:45Speaker 4: baby formula, making hospital runs. The last time aren't down there.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Before the election, I talked to hundreds of board places
- 27:51Speaker 4: and told me to hang on, hang on, changes coming.
- 27:53Speaker 4: I really think the President Tump's going to win. But
- 27:55Speaker 4: they told me, no, we're sick of being tour station.
- 27:57Speaker 4: We're sick of being uber drivers and deliver these people
- 28:01Speaker 4: to the very same people who pay for their smuggling.
- 28:05Speaker 4: They couldn't recruit. They couldn't people were quitting. They were
- 28:08Speaker 4: quickly for it, even as well for retirement. They couldn't
- 28:11Speaker 4: red recruiting numbers. You know, last month, Ice, I'm excuse me,
- 28:14Speaker 4: Bord Patrol had the highst recruiting numbers and the history
- 28:19Speaker 4: of that agency just last month.
- 28:21Speaker 3: That's fantastic. And look, I will say Tom's not exaggerating
- 28:26Speaker 3: at all. Like when I would visit with Border Patrol
- 28:28Speaker 3: agents the frustration. Look, the men and women who sign
- 28:32Speaker 3: up for the Border Patrol, they do do so because
- 28:34Speaker 3: they're patriots. They do so because they love America. They
- 28:36Speaker 3: do so because they want to keep our communities and
- 28:39Speaker 3: our families and our kids safe, and they want to
- 28:41Speaker 3: be out on patrol. Look, these that's what you sign
- 28:45Speaker 3: up in the job. And they were sitting there just
- 28:47Speaker 3: shuffling paperwork, they were processing and just running a revolving
- 28:52Speaker 3: door to try to release as many illegal immigrants as
- 28:56Speaker 3: fast as possible. That's what may Orc has looked viewed
- 28:58Speaker 3: as job is accelerate illegal immigration, not stop it, but
- 29:03Speaker 3: make it go more quickly.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Let me ask you, Tom, you mentioned fentanyl.
- 29:07Speaker 3: What do we know about the numbers of fentanyl traffic
- 29:11Speaker 3: over the first four months of the Trump administration.
- 29:14Speaker 4: There's been a decrease, and I've got from three or
- 29:17Speaker 4: four different sources. The percentage of decrease is different from
- 29:20Speaker 4: every source. The problem is the CDC doesn't have good
- 29:24Speaker 4: metrics on fatanyl. But look across the country. You can
- 29:27Speaker 4: see the decrease in fatanyl. Fatanyl's being c's on the
- 29:30Speaker 4: southern border. And it's the metrics and that's maybe something
- 29:35Speaker 4: you all work on up there in the Senate. Uh.
- 29:38Speaker 4: CDC needs a track is more, more more accurately. Like
- 29:44Speaker 4: I said, you got you got a number of deaths
- 29:46Speaker 4: reported by states. You got a number of deaths reported
- 29:48Speaker 4: by CDC. None of them match. So, but we do
- 29:51Speaker 4: know there's been a reduction. You don't see you know
- 29:54Speaker 4: three hundred people dying every day from fantolic We did that,
- 29:58Speaker 4: did see? Right? We know? We don't I have two
- 30:00Speaker 4: you know, nine to elevens a week happening from kids
- 30:03Speaker 4: dying from fatanah. So I don't have exact numbers, but
- 30:06Speaker 4: we already see the effects of a secure board.
- 30:08Speaker 3: And Tom, let me ask you also, So, one of
- 30:10Speaker 3: the things we've talked about on this podcast. In twenty eighteen,
- 30:14Speaker 3: the Mexican drug cartels made roughly five hundred million dollars
- 30:18Speaker 3: from human trafficking. Last year, the drug cartels made over
- 30:23Speaker 3: thirteen billion dollars from human trafficking. That's a twenty six
- 30:28Speaker 3: hundred percent increase. Do we have any data yet? Do
- 30:31Speaker 3: you have any visibility on what has happened to the
- 30:35Speaker 3: drug cartel's revenue? Because one of the worst consequences of
- 30:38Speaker 3: what Biden's open border did is is it turned these vicious, murderous,
- 30:43Speaker 3: transnational criminal organizations into incredibly wealthy powerhouses, and it put
- 30:50Speaker 3: huge resources in their pockets. Do do you have any
- 30:52Speaker 3: data on what's happened to their revenues?
- 30:55Speaker 4: Well, one of the first best thing President Trump did
- 30:57Speaker 4: is designated terurist organization. Because you start to have killed
- 31:00Speaker 4: more Americans and every turnance organization were combined. We knew that.
- 31:05Speaker 4: That's why there's so much buy on some Mexico. The
- 31:07Speaker 4: last four years, cartels were fighting each other for control
- 31:11Speaker 4: of the Plauzas. Why because they're making record amounts of money,
- 31:14Speaker 4: smuggling people, record amount of money and trafficking women and children,
- 31:17Speaker 4: and a record amount of money moving dope across that border. Now,
- 31:21Speaker 4: with the board secure, we're hitting them where it hurts.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Are smugglings down, both drugs and people. Trafficking is down,
- 31:27Speaker 4: So we're hitting where it hurts. That's why the latest
- 31:30Speaker 4: intelligence force I see they're trying to produce and push
- 31:34Speaker 4: more fatanol into Asian European nations because their market here
- 31:38Speaker 4: the United States has been so brutally attacked. I wish
- 31:43Speaker 4: what would happen is that Mexico would agree with President
- 31:46Speaker 4: Trump to let us help them take the cartels and
- 31:49Speaker 4: wipe them off the face of the ears. Because right
- 31:50Speaker 4: now they're like the holical cartel. They're in forty four
- 31:54Speaker 4: countries around the globe. They're like a fortune five hundred company.
- 31:58Speaker 4: It's going to take the United States to take them on.
- 32:00Speaker 4: Mexico's failed for decades to do it, and a lot
- 32:02Speaker 4: of mech sure you know that military police and government
- 32:04Speaker 4: forstses are corrupt. I'll say this, A lot of the
- 32:06Speaker 4: corruption is force corruption. Because you're a police officer Mexo.
- 32:10Speaker 4: You're making you know, four hundred dollars a month, but
- 32:13Speaker 4: a Mexican tartel comes up and obviously ten thousand look
- 32:16Speaker 4: the other way, and you're going to take it? Are
- 32:17Speaker 4: they going to kill you and your family? I think
- 32:19Speaker 4: Mexico will be a much safer and much prosper more
- 32:22Speaker 4: prosperous country if they let President Trump help them hpe
- 32:25Speaker 4: the cartels off the face of the ear.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Look that that is absolutely right. And let me underscore
- 32:29Speaker 3: that point. A lot of people don't realize, particularly those
- 32:33Speaker 3: on the left, that that what Joe Biden the Democrats did,
- 32:36Speaker 3: it wasn't just horribly cruel to the American people, it
- 32:40Speaker 3: was horribly cruel to Mexican nationals in Mexico. Turning these
- 32:45Speaker 3: vicious criminals into the most powerful economic force in Mexico
- 32:53Speaker 3: has increased the murder rate, the crime rate, the kidnapping
- 32:56Speaker 3: rate rate. I visited with with a Mexican mayor of
- 33:00Speaker 3: a town on the other side of the border, and
- 33:01Speaker 3: I'm not going to say which mayor because he told
- 33:03Speaker 3: me in confidence because he was afraid.
- 33:06Speaker 1: But he said in his town.
- 33:09Speaker 3: They had had over three thousand disappearances, just people Mexican
- 33:15Speaker 3: nationals living in Mexico who just ran a foul of
- 33:18Speaker 3: the cartel and they just disappear and they find mass
- 33:21Speaker 3: graves and the suffering and murder and kidnapping that that
- 33:25Speaker 3: that has happened in Mexico because of the Democrats political
- 33:30Speaker 3: decision I think was cruel and horrible. And and Tom,
- 33:34Speaker 3: you're exactly right that the US military can take out
- 33:39Speaker 3: the cartels, and we've done it before in Colombia. President
- 33:42Speaker 3: Uribe asked the military to come in and take out
- 33:45Speaker 3: the cartels in Colombia, and we came in and did that,
- 33:48Speaker 3: and we could do it again. And and I do
- 33:50Speaker 3: think it would be much better if the Mexican government
- 33:53Speaker 3: invited US in. It would have transformational impact within Mexico.
- 34:00Speaker 5: To say a lot of lives, like say, lexing cartoons
- 34:02Speaker 5: have killed thousands of judges and prosecutors and journalists, yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 4: And citizens.
- 34:08Speaker 5: So you know, I wish they I wish they'd joined
- 34:11Speaker 5: with President Trump and that would be a game changer,
- 34:14Speaker 5: uh for Mexico and the United Things.
- 34:16Speaker 3: All right, final question, we saw just this week that
- 34:20Speaker 3: that New Jersey Democrat Congresswoman Lamonica mac Ivor was charged
- 34:25Speaker 3: for assaulting law enforcement at an ICE facility. Uh, tell me,
- 34:30Speaker 3: tell us how important that is and and what do
- 34:32Speaker 3: you think about about the fact that that charges were
- 34:34Speaker 3: brought for assault. We saw during the Biden administration repeatedly, Uh,
- 34:39Speaker 3: law enforcement, Customs, border patrol, ICE agents were subject to
- 34:44Speaker 3: physical assault, no charges were brought. How important is it
- 34:47Speaker 3: that that these charges were brought?
- 34:50Speaker 4: The suns of strong messs is very important and also
- 34:52Speaker 4: proves that on bluff I'd said them the David auguration.
- 34:56Speaker 4: If you want to not support ICE, well, shame mind you,
- 34:59Speaker 4: but you have that right. You want to protest against
- 35:01Speaker 4: ICE and to protests against Trump's policies, that's fine. If
- 35:04Speaker 4: you want to watch ICE come in and clean your
- 35:06Speaker 4: city up because you're a sanctuary city, don't want to help,
- 35:08Speaker 4: you can do that too, But ICE had from day one.
- 35:10Speaker 4: You can't cross that line. You can't cross the line
- 35:13Speaker 4: of impediment. That's a felony. You can't cross the line
- 35:16Speaker 4: on noialing and harboring, concealing and able to go amis MICE,
- 35:19Speaker 4: that's a felony. You certainly can't commit criminal trespasses at
- 35:23Speaker 4: our facilities, and for God's sake, you can't put hands
- 35:26Speaker 4: on I ice officers. And this happened during the same
- 35:29Speaker 4: time frame. The same week I went to Blue Mass
- 35:32Speaker 4: in Washington, d C. And Remembrance of the men and
- 35:35Speaker 4: women in law enforce and put their lives on the
- 35:37Speaker 4: lines of this country every day. So we spent a
- 35:39Speaker 4: week just just just praising these men and women, talking
- 35:43Speaker 4: to their families who also paid the ultimate sacrifice. They
- 35:46Speaker 4: lost the loved one forever, children lost their fathers and mothers,
- 35:49Speaker 4: and mothers and fathers lost their sons and daughters. In
- 35:51Speaker 4: the same week we're supposed to be honor in law enforcement,
- 35:54Speaker 4: you got some of the member Congress putting their hands
- 35:56Speaker 4: in shoving an ICE officer, which makes that facility very unsafe.
- 36:00Speaker 4: And I'm sick and tired of hearing what we have
- 36:02Speaker 4: congression oversight responsibilities. There is a right way and wrong
- 36:05Speaker 4: way to do it. You don't force your way in
- 36:07Speaker 4: the facility. You don't put hands on an officer. We
- 36:10Speaker 4: do oversight all the time. And what are they finding
- 36:13Speaker 4: out as people are getting tours in that facility that
- 36:16Speaker 4: they have the highest detention standards in the industry and
- 36:19Speaker 4: It puts every every other detention center in jail in
- 36:25Speaker 4: the state of New Jersey, whether it is a county
- 36:27Speaker 4: or state. It puts them to shame because our detention
- 36:30Speaker 4: standards are so high. So when you go and calls
- 36:33Speaker 4: that kind of practice, where we're trying to maintain a
- 36:36Speaker 4: facility with very dangerous people inside, we got to protect
- 36:40Speaker 4: not only the criminals, we gotta protect the employees and
- 36:42Speaker 4: the citizens on the outside. What she did was just horrendous.
- 36:46Speaker 4: She put hands on an officer. Like they said for
- 36:49Speaker 4: four years, no one's above the law. You're damn right.
- 36:52Speaker 4: They're not above the law, even members of Congress. The
- 36:54Speaker 4: president is above the law, but these are members of Congress.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Look amen, And I will say, Tom, I've I've visited
- 37:00Speaker 3: dozens of ICE facilities and CBP facilities. I've never found
- 37:04Speaker 3: it difficult to refrain from physical assault on an officer. Somehow,
- 37:09Speaker 3: that temptation was never there for me, and in fact
- 37:12Speaker 3: for the opposite. It is my job to have their backs.
- 37:15Speaker 3: That's a job I take incredibly seriously. And I just
- 37:18Speaker 3: want to say, Tom, you were a patriot, You were
- 37:20Speaker 3: a great American. We have roughly a million unique listeners
- 37:24Speaker 3: who listened to verdict and I want to say, on
- 37:26Speaker 3: behalf of all of them, and on behalf of thirty
- 37:29Speaker 3: one million Texans, thank you for what you are doing.
- 37:32Speaker 3: You are keeping my children safer and Tom I am
- 37:36Speaker 3: grateful you are on that frontline for us, and you
- 37:39Speaker 3: and President Trump are making a massive difference for the
- 37:42Speaker 3: entire country.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Well, I appreciate that, but I'm not going to take credit.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Please give the thing for your listeners. You see a
- 37:48Speaker 4: borbous agent, Yes, just say thank you, because I cannot
- 37:54Speaker 4: believe that. We knew they're going to take hate as
- 37:56Speaker 4: soon as President Something got back in. But say thank
- 37:59Speaker 4: you because these men, women, their mothers and fathers too.
- 38:02Speaker 4: They don't hang their heart on a hook at home.
- 38:04Speaker 4: When they go to work, they see a lot of
- 38:05Speaker 4: terrible things. They put the life on the line. At
- 38:08Speaker 4: three o'clock this morning, when everybody is sleeping, Me and
- 38:11Speaker 4: Sender is sleeping. At three am this morning, there's borbite
- 38:14Speaker 4: laces and standing on a dirt trail someplace going to
- 38:16Speaker 4: take something on. They don't know if it's just an
- 38:18Speaker 4: illegal alien or heavily armed drug smunker. They're going to
- 38:20Speaker 4: take it on in the nearest back of us miles away.
- 38:23Speaker 4: God bless the men and women of borbetow, God best
- 38:26Speaker 4: the women of Vice, and God bless this great nation.
- 38:28Speaker 4: We're taking it.
