- 0:13Speaker 3: Given them.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Back a bus busy.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Listening to me.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I don't joy, Yah, yeah, joy, you know you.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Love you.
- 1:13Speaker 7: Turn you got to turn the mouth the turn You
- 1:43Speaker 7: probably got to turn mouth.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Turn out the word. Then jump, look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Come out, you're think, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey. I got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 8: Real grateful for that. You know, it's funny. I remember
- 2:15Speaker 8: when I first started out in radio. A lot of
- 2:17Speaker 8: my peers laughed at me. Some of it was being
- 2:20Speaker 8: mean spirited, some of it was just you know, mocking me.
- 2:24Speaker 8: I'm used to stuff like that. But I had a
- 2:27Speaker 8: special guest on my show, Joel Oldstein, and you know something, man,
- 2:31Speaker 8: he said something that was I can't remember the scripture.
- 2:35Speaker 8: I don't know exactly how it were like we were
- 2:37Speaker 8: having a long conversation, but the gist of it was,
- 2:40Speaker 8: don't be upset with where you are now, and don't
- 2:43Speaker 8: be upset with the small things in your life. Be
- 2:46Speaker 8: grateful for the small things and the small position that
- 2:49Speaker 8: you have right now. Because you don't know where that's going.
- 2:52Speaker 8: You don't know what that's gonna be one day, you
- 2:54Speaker 8: don't know what that's gonna lead to. And that was
- 2:56Speaker 8: very warming to hear him say that. But it also
- 3:00Speaker 8: reminded me of when I started in radio, how small
- 3:03Speaker 8: it was. It reminded me of when I started in
- 3:06Speaker 8: stand up making twenty five dollars a show. It reminds
- 3:10Speaker 8: me of not having a home at a period in
- 3:14Speaker 8: my life and what God has allowed me to live
- 3:17Speaker 8: in now. So don't be distraught over your position now,
- 3:22Speaker 8: and don't be ungrateful or unappreciative for the things you
- 3:26Speaker 8: have now because you don't know what that's going to
- 3:28Speaker 8: grow into. And that's really the gist of that I
- 3:30Speaker 8: got from what he was saying. I just wanted to
- 3:32Speaker 8: share that with you, that where you are now is
- 3:36Speaker 8: so temporary because now, like I've said before, now is
- 3:39Speaker 8: a fleeting moment. Right after you finish saying now, that
- 3:43Speaker 8: moment that you claimed as now, that's gone. So the
- 3:47Speaker 8: where you are now is a very fleeting process. Now
- 3:50Speaker 8: you can change where you are now, and you can
- 3:53Speaker 8: change how you feel about where you're at now, and
- 3:56Speaker 8: you can change about where you're going by simply changing
- 4:01Speaker 8: your mind.
- 4:02Speaker 4: It is no difference.
- 4:03Speaker 8: I'm telling you, folks, the thing that I've learned about
- 4:07Speaker 8: successful people is not so much of what they do.
- 4:11Speaker 4: It's not what they have.
- 4:13Speaker 5: The biggest thing I've learned about successful people is how
- 4:16Speaker 5: they think. That's the thing that's different. It's how they think.
- 4:22Speaker 8: And I'm telling you that you can change the way
- 4:25Speaker 8: you think on any subject and start becoming successful towards that.
- 4:31Speaker 8: Starting now, you have to understand that, man, the biggest
- 4:36Speaker 8: difference I've noticed between successful people and non successful people
- 4:41Speaker 8: is how they think. I was reading what it's God
- 4:45Speaker 8: said that he was taught all wrong about money. He
- 4:49Speaker 8: said that his father was very negative about money. He
- 4:52Speaker 8: all throughout his life he heard his father say, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 8: people who got money have walked on somebody to get it,
- 4:59Speaker 8: or cheated somebody to get it. People who have money,
- 5:02Speaker 8: money is the root of all evil. Money is money
- 5:05Speaker 8: is this And people who got money, you know, don't
- 5:08Speaker 8: deserve it. They've done something wrong to get it. Yah
- 5:11Speaker 8: to y'all. So, he said, he grew up the whole
- 5:13Speaker 8: time thinking that having money was something was wrong with that.
- 5:16Speaker 8: He discovered that it wasn't look. You can choose to
- 5:20Speaker 8: be successful anywhere you want to. I've chosen several ways
- 5:23Speaker 8: to be successful. I want to be a very, very
- 5:26Speaker 8: successful father. I think that's one of the things that's
- 5:29Speaker 8: paramount in my life that I really am working hard
- 5:33Speaker 8: right now to become a successful father. Not a successful
- 5:38Speaker 8: father in terms of money, but a successful father in
- 5:42Speaker 8: terms of offering the amount of love and guidance and
- 5:46Speaker 8: leadership and the example that my children need to look at.
- 5:50Speaker 8: And that's what I'm really really working hard at now.
- 5:52Speaker 8: I want to be successful as a father, but also
- 5:55Speaker 8: I want to be successful as a husband.
- 5:58Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:58Speaker 8: I want Marjorie to always that she can count on me,
- 6:01Speaker 8: to not have to wonder about me or look for me.
- 6:04Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:05Speaker 8: I want her to feel secure in the fact that
- 6:08Speaker 8: I really have gotten it right, that I really am
- 6:12Speaker 8: focused on being a good husband to her because it
- 6:15Speaker 8: means so much to me, you know. So I'm working
- 6:18Speaker 8: hard on a lot of levels. I'm working hard and
- 6:21Speaker 8: trying very strong to be a successful motivator of people.
- 6:25Speaker 8: I want to be a share of information to people
- 6:28Speaker 8: that will uplift others and give others the same things
- 6:32Speaker 8: that I've learned through the trials and tribulations of my life.
- 6:36Speaker 8: But at the same time share that information and use
- 6:39Speaker 8: the power of this microphone to uplift people, you know,
- 6:42Speaker 8: not to destroy it. My show is not about Ooh,
- 6:45Speaker 8: guess what so and so said? Guess what so and
- 6:46Speaker 8: so did. I don't like mean spirited things about people,
- 6:50Speaker 8: you know. I joke with people who calling this that's
- 6:52Speaker 8: another thing. But I don't like destroying people with the
- 6:55Speaker 8: power of the microphone. So I'm working very hard on
- 6:57Speaker 8: being successful in a lot of areas of my life now.
- 7:00Speaker 8: Also I do care about being financially successful too, because
- 7:04Speaker 8: my father. One of the gifts he gave me was
- 7:07Speaker 8: very simple gift. He told me a long time ago.
- 7:10Speaker 8: He said, son, the best thing you can do for
- 7:12Speaker 8: poor people is not be one of them.
- 7:15Speaker 4: And that stuck with me. And this was a hard
- 7:18Speaker 4: working man who was a coal miner who worked construction
- 7:21Speaker 4: his entire life. My father didn't have an easy life man.
- 7:25Speaker 4: My father didn't sit behind a microphone. My father didn't
- 7:28Speaker 4: come to work and people cheered for him. My father
- 7:31Speaker 4: wasn't famous. My father was just a go get it dude.
- 7:36Speaker 4: That he instilled that in me and I've taken that
- 7:38Speaker 4: and applied it to my craft, and I thank God
- 7:41Speaker 4: for him for that. But I do try to be
- 7:43Speaker 4: financially successful so that I can do some things with
- 7:46Speaker 4: it to help some other people. Now, am I opposed
- 7:50Speaker 4: to having nice things?
- 7:51Speaker 2: No?
- 7:51Speaker 4: Do I apologize for having nice things?
- 7:54Speaker 6: No?
- 7:54Speaker 4: And why should I? I work?
- 7:56Speaker 8: You know, I'm not on the radio asking to give
- 8:00Speaker 8: me money, you know, so I can go buy a car.
- 8:04Speaker 8: I'm working, so I don't feel how you want to feel.
- 8:07Speaker 8: And other people do feel that way about it. But
- 8:09Speaker 8: if success in terms of finance is what you're lacking,
- 8:13Speaker 8: you can go about the business of doing that. I'm
- 8:16Speaker 8: writing a book, and that whole book is about teaching
- 8:19Speaker 8: people how to become successful. And Man, I'm breaking it
- 8:22Speaker 8: down in a way where everybody can get it, man,
- 8:25Speaker 8: because I want the college student to get it, you know.
- 8:28Speaker 4: I want the.
- 8:29Speaker 8: Working mom to get it, the single mom to get it.
- 8:32Speaker 8: The hard working father that has been trying to hold
- 8:35Speaker 8: his family together can get it. The father that ain't
- 8:37Speaker 8: ever got it together and feel that because of that reason,
- 8:40Speaker 8: he can't be the father he needs to be. I'm
- 8:43Speaker 8: writing something, man, to put it into words, to let
- 8:46Speaker 8: you know that God is a forgiving God, and that
- 8:50Speaker 8: God is a merciful God, and that God can get
- 8:53Speaker 8: you out of any situation you find yourself in. You
- 8:57Speaker 8: just can't beat yourself up every time you make a mistake.
- 9:00Speaker 8: I make mistakes all the time, man, I just got
- 9:02Speaker 8: to remind myself to get up. I ask God for forgiveness.
- 9:06Speaker 8: I will call on his mercy and his grace and
- 9:08Speaker 8: I get up and I go again. But it's coming, man.
- 9:11Speaker 8: And if finance success is what you want, you got
- 9:14Speaker 8: to change your mind. You got to start thinking about
- 9:17Speaker 8: how to produce it. The first thing you do is
- 9:20Speaker 8: you got to ask. You got to ask to have
- 9:23Speaker 8: a life and have a life more abundantly. That's a
- 9:26Speaker 8: scripture that He comes to you to give you life
- 9:29Speaker 8: and to give you life more abundantly. That's a scripture.
- 9:33Speaker 8: That ain't a joke, that ain't a theory. That's a fact,
- 9:37Speaker 8: and the fact that if you don't have a life
- 9:39Speaker 8: of abundance, you can get that by asking. Then it
- 9:42Speaker 8: starts by believing. And how too, don't even worry about that.
- 9:45Speaker 8: He takes care of that himself. He'll send the stuff
- 9:48Speaker 8: your way. But you got to be willing to put
- 9:50Speaker 8: some effort in this thing now, and you can do it.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Okay. I know I was a little around the place today,
- 9:55Speaker 4: but that's what it was. So you know, let's go
- 9:57Speaker 4: get it.
- 9:58Speaker 9: You're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Show, all right, everybody. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:05Speaker 8: I haven't really decided how I was gonna start the
- 10:08Speaker 8: show this morning, because you know, every morning I kind
- 10:10Speaker 8: of take a different angle on it, and I just
- 10:13Speaker 8: don't have an angle today. So the angle let me
- 10:16Speaker 8: try this. Let's start the show like it was a regular,

- 11:52Speaker 10: You know, when you get the Christmas and everything, there
- 11:54Speaker 10: as a certain group of people who really don't care
- 11:56Speaker 10: nothing about Christmas.
- 11:57Speaker 4: They just want to play space.
- 11:59Speaker 5: Yet, hold on, Julia, what did I just say to
- 12:01Speaker 5: make you think he was talking about Christmas?
- 12:04Speaker 1: What did else what I'm talking about? Before the show up?
- 12:06Speaker 1: It just said I just thought about it.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Oh okay, other side joke. Don't nobody know nothing about it?
- 12:11Speaker 4: Come on, let's try to connect these jokes. JUNR. That's
- 12:14Speaker 4: one thing you got to work on us.
- 12:16Speaker 1: We're doing cone.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Yeah, we're doing radio because I'm wanted. You know, the
- 12:21Speaker 4: fans listened.

- 12:25Speaker 8: and cards.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Now go ahead, Julie, thank you.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Unc I appreciate it.
- 12:28Speaker 10: Like I said, there's a certain group of people who
- 12:30Speaker 10: don't care nothing. Certain group people don't get nothing by Christmas.
- 12:34Speaker 10: There's some people coming over there to the house just
- 12:36Speaker 10: to play spades and Domino.
- 12:38Speaker 8: That's it.
- 12:39Speaker 10: Just to start a fight old Christmas. That's what they
- 12:41Speaker 10: coming in there to do. Don't play your right card
- 12:44Speaker 10: with them, and see what happened. See if the turkey
- 12:46Speaker 10: don't be on the flow, See if Jams ain't gonna
- 12:49Speaker 10: be on the tape, watch the greens.
- 12:51Speaker 1: If you play out of turn and let a book slide,
- 12:53Speaker 1: and see what happened. You already know that.
- 12:55Speaker 8: Uh yeah, But if you knocked that turkey on flow, Yep,
- 13:01Speaker 8: Christmas is gonna be real different than my housband tell
- 13:03Speaker 8: you that right now. People that come over your house
- 13:09Speaker 8: to play spades on Christmas usually don't have a gift.
- 13:13Speaker 1: No, they don't know.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:18Speaker 8: They just said, why are you coming through the dough
- 13:20Speaker 8: on the Lord's birthday with the deck of cards? The
- 13:26Speaker 8: damn dog? Imean you you didn't get to you ain't
- 13:28Speaker 8: drawing no name, you ain't you ain't no card or nothing.
- 13:32Speaker 8: You know, brought a deck of cards up in here.
- 13:34Speaker 8: You know, we can't play cards till late night.
- 13:37Speaker 9: All right, guys, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:39Speaker 9: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:42Speaker 9: that prank back right after this. You're listening.
- 13:46Speaker 11: Morning show, all right, it is.
- 13:48Speaker 9: Time for the nephew to run that prank back. What
- 13:51Speaker 9: you got for us, nepht.
- 13:52Speaker 5: We are lashing out this morning. We are lashing out.
- 13:57Speaker 5: And this is for all you ladies out there. That's
- 13:59Speaker 5: when eyelashes where they just way too long, They just
- 14:03Speaker 5: just way too long. Let's just die it back a
- 14:05Speaker 5: littleit all right. They start looking like a feather a duster. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:12Speaker 5: you know, just we can't see your forehead.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Last it out. Let's go catch up?
- 14:18Speaker 12: Hey slashing out? How can we lash out?
- 14:22Speaker 4: I'm trying to reach Bianca.
- 14:23Speaker 13: Listen?
- 14:24Speaker 12: Is Bianca?
- 14:25Speaker 6: Hey?
- 14:25Speaker 4: Listen?
- 14:25Speaker 5: My name is Brian. My my wife Jamie come up
- 14:28Speaker 5: there and get her eyelashes done?
- 14:30Speaker 6: Is uh?
- 14:31Speaker 4: Who the who's the owner of this place?
- 14:33Speaker 12: I am Brian? What's going on?
- 14:35Speaker 4: Okay?
- 14:36Speaker 14: Going on?
- 14:37Speaker 4: You you're Bianca. You're the one that owned the place.
- 14:39Speaker 12: I'm Bianca. I'm the owner. We opened about a year
- 14:42Speaker 12: and a half ago. Proud, happy, black owned, women owned,
- 14:46Speaker 12: woman owned establishment.
- 14:47Speaker 11: What can I do for you?
- 14:49Speaker 9: Here's the deal.
- 14:50Speaker 5: I'm sick and tired of my wife coming up there
- 14:53Speaker 5: and then when she get back home, she got these
- 14:55Speaker 5: thicks eyelashes on and they long as hell. You know,
- 14:59Speaker 5: I'm it's these eyelashes thicking on somebody's mustache. It's a
- 15:03Speaker 5: damn shame, you know not. They told her to take that.
- 15:07Speaker 12: Hold up, Brian. Now, I may or may not be
- 15:10Speaker 12: the person doing it. But whoever, I'm pretty sure probably
- 15:13Speaker 12: that sounds familiar. But whoever, we have a lot of customers.
- 15:16Speaker 12: But whoever comes in here, they pick their lashes. We
- 15:19Speaker 12: we you know, we collaborate. But the girls are saying
- 15:23Speaker 12: what they want done. They pick it. So if they're thick,
- 15:26Speaker 12: they're thick because they want them thick.
- 15:28Speaker 5: Okay, well these are two they too thick, and then
- 15:30Speaker 5: and they too long. Your eyelasses ain't supposed to be
- 15:33Speaker 5: sticking away. I pass your nose. That's a damn shame.
- 15:36Speaker 5: But let me let me tell you what I'm getting
- 15:38Speaker 5: at though. Here's here's here's my reason for calling. If
- 15:41Speaker 5: my wife come home one more say what n you?
- 15:44Speaker 12: Can you send her down because I mean, I'm running
- 15:47Speaker 12: a business here, and you sound crazy. They can cheer
- 15:50Speaker 12: you through the fall on the girls. They're looking at
- 15:52Speaker 12: me in the chair. I don't know what's going on.
- 15:55Speaker 12: I don't know. Can you calm down? You loud and screaming,
- 15:58Speaker 12: And all I'm saying.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Is, if my wife come home with these long thicket
- 16:02Speaker 5: as i lasses again, I'm gonna come up there and
- 16:04Speaker 5: raise holy hell at that damn place.
- 16:06Speaker 4: I'm telling you the truth about that.
- 16:08Speaker 6: You know what are you talking about?
- 16:10Speaker 12: Why you're threatening me? You are not coming up here.
- 16:13Speaker 4: I'm coming up there.
- 16:14Speaker 5: You if my wife coming home with them thick as
- 16:16Speaker 5: long eye lass as again, I am No, you're not
- 16:19Speaker 5: coming up here.
- 16:20Speaker 12: We just opened a year and half ago.
- 16:22Speaker 14: We are doing that.
- 16:23Speaker 12: We don't need no drama for nobody. You need to
- 16:25Speaker 12: talk to your wife. It's your marriage. Don't come out
- 16:27Speaker 12: here taking it.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Ain't nothing wrong with my marriage. The only thing wrong
- 16:30Speaker 5: with my marriage is these damn thinking as I lasting.
- 16:33Speaker 4: And they too long.
- 16:34Speaker 12: That's the why are you? Why are you calling me
- 16:37Speaker 12: with this? See now I'm yes.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Because I'm calling because this is what she got her
- 16:41Speaker 5: eyelashes done.
- 16:42Speaker 12: Oh my god, Oh my god. Then you need to
- 16:45Speaker 12: talk to your wife. Okay, I need to calm down.
- 16:47Speaker 12: I'm running a business here. What you're trying to do
- 16:50Speaker 12: sabotage me?
- 16:51Speaker 3: What you work for?
- 16:51Speaker 4: The com ain't trying to sabotage now.
- 16:53Speaker 5: But I tell you what if she come home with
- 16:54Speaker 5: these long thickets as I lads again, I'm gonna come
- 16:57Speaker 5: up there and I'm gonna find all the violations and
- 16:59Speaker 5: codes and everything building, and I will get you shut
- 17:02Speaker 5: down if we don't stop these long thinkings as I last.
- 17:05Speaker 12: Okay, Brian, I'm from the south Side so much. You
- 17:10Speaker 12: need to back up because now you're threatening my livelihood. Yes,
- 17:14Speaker 12: I'm gonna go there.
- 17:15Speaker 6: With you.
- 17:15Speaker 12: You're threatened in my livelihood. You're threatening the jobs of
- 17:18Speaker 12: so many girls here. What are you doing? You need
- 17:21Speaker 12: to talk to your wife and you need to back up.
- 17:24Speaker 12: And I am sorry to Kurt. We try to speak
- 17:26Speaker 12: class here, but now you're making me lash out at
- 17:29Speaker 12: from lash out. You need to back up. This is
- 17:33Speaker 12: my job and people have jobs. What are you doing
- 17:36Speaker 12: threatening to come up here? I call the cops on you,
- 17:39Speaker 12: and you will not be able to come here, and
- 17:41Speaker 12: we will not let you get her her eyelashes on.
- 17:44Speaker 12: And you need to fix your marriage because you've got
- 17:46Speaker 12: some anger issues. Clearly you pissed off at your wife
- 17:49Speaker 12: and you're calling us, threatening to ruin our business. Wyan,
- 17:52Speaker 12: what is your wife's name?
- 17:54Speaker 4: My wife name is.
- 17:55Speaker 12: My wife name is Jamie, okay, because anybody is here,
- 17:59Speaker 12: no Jamie or do Jamie's glashes? Okay. It's like four
- 18:04Speaker 12: girls raising their hand because everybody goes to somebody different,
- 18:08Speaker 12: So I don't know who is the Jamie slashes. But
- 18:12Speaker 12: you got some anger issues, okay.
- 18:14Speaker 4: I ain't got no anger issue.
- 18:15Speaker 5: The only problem I got is my wife having some long,
- 18:17Speaker 5: thick eyelashes and they further out than her nose. And
- 18:21Speaker 5: thiguring it into somebody's much stand that's what I got
- 18:23Speaker 5: a problem with.
- 18:24Speaker 12: Okay, you know what, Jamie just needs to leave your
- 18:27Speaker 12: because if you got an issue, call her. Why are
- 18:29Speaker 12: you calling us?
- 18:33Speaker 5: Why wouldn't I call the people that put the thicker
- 18:35Speaker 5: eyelashes on?
- 18:36Speaker 4: Why wouldn't I?
- 18:37Speaker 12: Well, first of all, you need to talk to Jamie
- 18:40Speaker 12: and send her up here. We're gonna tell her not
- 18:42Speaker 12: to leave yours first of all. Second of all, I don't.
- 18:46Speaker 12: I cannot help you. You are interrupting my grinding. Okay,
- 18:50Speaker 12: we are interrupting our grinding, and we got a business
- 18:54Speaker 12: going here. What is your problem?
- 18:56Speaker 6: Can't you go do some work, Go and.
- 18:58Speaker 12: Talk to your wife and fix your marriage.
- 19:00Speaker 4: You know, you know what I tell you.
- 19:02Speaker 3: I'll tell you.
- 19:02Speaker 5: I'll tell you what, Beyonca. I'll tell you what you're
- 19:04Speaker 5: not trying to fix. No, no, no, you're trying to
- 19:06Speaker 5: fix the problem. I'll be up there. I'll be up
- 19:08Speaker 5: there and and I would bring somebody that would shut.
- 19:11Speaker 12: That shops right now, call him down. Tell them somebody
- 19:15Speaker 12: who's coming up here? And they're threatening us at lash
- 19:18Speaker 12: out call see they three girls calling right now? Bring
- 19:22Speaker 12: your little up here.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Mother.
- 19:23Speaker 12: Come on, come on, bring in, bring it up here.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Let me ask you some is Carmen up there?
- 19:31Speaker 12: Karmen is sitting in my face right now? What is
- 19:34Speaker 12: going on doing? Honey?
- 19:36Speaker 3: You know him?
- 19:36Speaker 6: Card?
- 19:37Speaker 12: Why are you asking me about Card?
- 19:40Speaker 4: Where's where's Carmen at right now?
- 19:42Speaker 12: See right here?
- 19:42Speaker 9: Looking at me?
- 19:43Speaker 13: What what is called?
- 19:46Speaker 4: She is she laughing?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Hold?
- 19:49Speaker 12: Yeah, now she's starting to laugh.

- 20:51Speaker 9: is ask the Celo with our Chief Love Officer Steve
- 20:54Speaker 9: Harvey in the building. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 20:59Speaker 9: coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 21:02Speaker 9: we have some good news for you, Junior about your
- 21:06Speaker 9: favorite group, Jodosy tell you about that in just a
- 21:09Speaker 9: few It's exciting news too. Remember Montgomery chair slinger Reggie
- 21:15Speaker 9: Bernard Ray, Well, he's going to avoid jail time after
- 21:19Speaker 9: hitting someone with the chair in the Big Montgomery Brawl.
- 21:22Speaker 9: We all remember that. And Northwest makes her rap debut
- 21:27Speaker 9: on stage with her dad. That is all coming up
- 21:30Speaker 9: at the top of the hour, But right now it
- 21:32Speaker 9: is time to ask the Clo. The Gussie in Charlottesville says,
- 21:38Speaker 9: my mother backed into my car leaving our house. My
- 21:42Speaker 9: husband is being unreasonable by telling me not to file
- 21:46Speaker 9: an insurance claim. He wants my mother to pay for it.
- 21:49Speaker 9: Isn't that what insurance is for? Do I make my
- 21:52Speaker 9: mom pay or file the claim?
- 21:55Speaker 8: Oh, he don't know what Your husband is being cheap?
- 21:58Speaker 8: He don't want that market, yes, his insurance, but man,
- 22:03Speaker 8: make your mama pay? Dog, I can't even man Doug.
- 22:09Speaker 8: I wouldn't care what my mama did about the kitchen
- 22:12Speaker 8: on fire. We just got to go in here and
- 22:14Speaker 8: get some new damn cabinets. I can't charge my mama,
- 22:17Speaker 8: man for nothing. I wasn't raised like that, so I
- 22:20Speaker 8: don't even I don't even know how to play with y'all.
- 22:22Speaker 8: But it's mama. Think you got one, that's all I
- 22:25Speaker 8: can tell you got one. Y'all know it's her mama.
- 22:29Speaker 8: But he got to be respectful of that. Like I
- 22:33Speaker 8: respect Marjorie's mama, you know, as if she were mind.
- 22:37Speaker 8: I got respect. She's a mother though, and she's older.
- 22:41Speaker 4: That's the part.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I don't understand our generation, man. Some of y'all, man,
- 22:45Speaker 5: we have got away from the way it is. It's
- 22:47Speaker 5: just caused some damn respect, man, that's all it is.
- 22:51Speaker 8: It's respect your elders, honor thy mother and their father,
- 22:54Speaker 8: and our days on this earth shall be long.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Y'all.
- 22:57Speaker 8: Y'a ain't heard none of that, ain't none of no. Well, damn,
- 23:03Speaker 8: you need to learn something, man. It's about respect, because
- 23:05Speaker 8: one day you're gonna be old. Old is a gold.
- 23:10Speaker 8: I don't understand, man. Damn dog just reported to the
- 23:14Speaker 8: insurance company. Yeah, those types of accidents ain't bad. Now,
- 23:18Speaker 8: if you out there in a hit and run and
- 23:20Speaker 8: a concident for somebody bumping into your car and your driveway,
- 23:24Speaker 8: them ain't bad. Them don't count like that, bro, Get
- 23:27Speaker 8: a grip man, inspect the girls, mama, and don't make
- 23:30Speaker 8: your mama pay for it.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Call your insurance company that period, cause how it's done.
- 23:34Speaker 9: Yeah, all right. Moving on to Ell in Indianapolis, Elle says.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Let your mama do nothing, not dog, that's right.
- 23:44Speaker 9: Elle says, I'm pregnant with my first child and I
- 23:46Speaker 9: met this great guy that wants to date me. My
- 23:49Speaker 9: child's father ghosted me two months ago, and I'm due
- 23:52Speaker 9: in February. Is it wrong for me to get to
- 23:55Speaker 9: know this new guy while I'm pregnant with another man's baby.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Oyo, First of all, I'd like to meet this new guy.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Who the hell is he?
- 24:07Speaker 3: Why?
- 24:07Speaker 9: Because he's dating a woman that's pregnant with someone else's child.
- 24:12Speaker 4: You don't find that to be a little rare?
- 24:15Speaker 9: Yes, of course, I mean I know it's been done before, but.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Yeah, but it means you show it that much. We
- 24:22Speaker 4: need you. We need you.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Baby that's coming here in February with her about that
- 24:33Speaker 5: I'm trying to put this new guy that ghosted you.
- 24:36Speaker 5: That don't mean this new dude ain't gonna ghost you.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I don't.
- 24:39Speaker 8: I don't mean no, Look I don't. I don't like
- 24:41Speaker 8: answering questions like this because the woman's pregnant.
- 24:43Speaker 4: But listen to me.
- 24:45Speaker 8: Stop getting out of one situation into another situation. Just wait,
- 24:50Speaker 8: why you why you gotta do something now? He ghosted
- 24:53Speaker 8: you two months ago, so you're gonna get another one?
- 24:56Speaker 4: What now?
- 24:57Speaker 8: What you you think he gonna be in a delivery room?
- 24:59Speaker 8: I mean, what's the purpose of the new guy? You
- 25:02Speaker 8: don't even you just met him? Like Tommy said, go
- 25:05Speaker 8: meet your baby. Damn say hi to him or her.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Finish it. You know, have yourself a nice, healthy pregnancy.
- 25:12Speaker 5: You know.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Try that. Why you got to have a man, ain't
- 25:15Speaker 4: you don't you know that these men ain't working out
- 25:18Speaker 4: for you right now? Hello, just go meet your baby.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Baby don't know. I can't.
- 25:25Speaker 8: I'll give him a cancel. Dating where y'all going? You're
- 25:29Speaker 8: finn to go to the hospital, but.
- 25:39Speaker 9: Not understanding.
- 25:42Speaker 3: You go out.
- 25:44Speaker 9: He's gotta stay there when you.
- 25:46Speaker 8: Start coming out. He got to run down. Now they're
- 25:48Speaker 8: gonna put his name on the burst of afraid of
- 25:54Speaker 8: starting to look like child's supposed to me. Man, this
- 25:59Speaker 8: looks like eighteen years of payments to me, all right.
- 26:07Speaker 9: Moving on to Chris and Paramus. Chris says, my wife
- 26:12Speaker 9: and I experimented with another girl and it didn't do
- 26:15Speaker 9: anything for me. My wife loved it and wants to
- 26:17Speaker 9: do it again. I hate that I ever asked her
- 26:20Speaker 9: to do it, because it's all she talks about. Now
- 26:23Speaker 9: do you think this is something she's wanted all along?
- 26:28Speaker 3: This one?
- 26:33Speaker 8: It did nothing for you, and it did everything for her.
- 26:37Speaker 8: Let me explain something to you, bro, what you're not
- 26:39Speaker 8: saying in this letter. It's some inade inadequacies going down
- 26:43Speaker 8: in this letter. So let me explain some to you.
- 26:47Speaker 8: She agreed with you because you bought it up as
- 26:50Speaker 8: an idea.
- 26:51Speaker 4: She loved it. You didn't.
- 26:54Speaker 8: Now you bought it up to your wife because of
- 26:57Speaker 8: an inadequacy in your relationship.
- 27:00Speaker 5: So here, you bought in the third party. Now the
- 27:04Speaker 5: third party got in. You didn't care for the third party.
- 27:07Speaker 5: She loved the third party, which means she was feeling
- 27:11Speaker 5: inadequate about you. See what I'm saying see you're following this,
- 27:16Speaker 5: hir doog.
- 27:19Speaker 8: Now you wasn't happy what she was giving you, and
- 27:21Speaker 8: obviously she wasn't happy with what you was giving her
- 27:24Speaker 8: because she want that other girl back. So maybe you
- 27:27Speaker 8: have discovered that you all sexual relationship and relationship ain't
- 27:30Speaker 8: worth for damn.
- 27:32Speaker 4: That would have sounded like to me in the letter.
- 27:33Speaker 9: Do you think she's gonna see the girl on the
- 27:35Speaker 9: side without her husband's Yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 5: Yeah, hell yeah, cause that's what dudes do. Yeah, you
- 27:44Speaker 5: don't want to see her no more? Will let me
- 27:45Speaker 5: holler at her by myself?
- 27:47Speaker 6: Then?
- 27:47Speaker 8: Yeah, all that didn't happen though, And it ain't just
- 27:51Speaker 8: because you introduced it.
- 27:55Speaker 4: That's a big part of it.
- 27:56Speaker 3: But you allowed it.
- 27:57Speaker 4: And now you found out what was he nice?
- 28:03Speaker 8: You think now she like getting her bacon fried extra crispy.
- 28:11Speaker 9: All right, let's move on to our last one, Steve.
- 28:15Speaker 9: This is from Andrea and Clinton. Andrea writes, my husband
- 28:19Speaker 9: had a hand towel in his bag that he said
- 28:21Speaker 9: he got at the gym, but it was too nice
- 28:24Speaker 9: to be a gym towel. I guess he thinks I'm
- 28:26Speaker 9: stupid because he's sticking to his lie. Why do men lie?
- 28:30Speaker 9: Instead of just saying they messed up and apologized.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Why would do that?
- 28:37Speaker 4: Why would he do.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Apologized over a washcloth? I got the washcloth at the jim.
- 28:51Speaker 5: I know you say it was too nice for the jill,
- 28:53Speaker 5: but they got to buy some new ones.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Sometimes. I was down on new washcloth date and set
- 28:59Speaker 4: them out and I put one in my bag.
- 29:02Speaker 8: Why would I tell you I was over girls house
- 29:05Speaker 8: and put it in my gym bank? Why would I
- 29:07Speaker 8: say that?
- 29:08Speaker 9: All right, on that note, we got to end it.
- 29:11Speaker 9: Thank you Colo. Coming up next entertainment news. Right after
- 29:16Speaker 9: this you're listening Hard Morning show. Well after opening for
- 29:22Speaker 9: New Edition's latest tour and doing their own tour, it

- 30:29Speaker 4: Going, Why I got the earth.
- 30:33Speaker 5: You get out on the first run, because that second
- 30:36Speaker 5: run in July that might not have the first day
- 30:39Speaker 5: March fifteenth.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Yeah, you probably need to be out there early. Dispute happy.
- 30:46Speaker 8: Yeah, they're old enough, and plus they toured with a
- 30:48Speaker 8: new edition, and I think new addition is such a
- 30:51Speaker 8: professional group of dudes. Man, Them dudes is real down
- 30:55Speaker 8: with how they stay together and make their money. And
- 30:57Speaker 8: I think maybe they had it. They influenced them. Set
- 31:00Speaker 8: him down and talked to him and you just got
- 31:02Speaker 8: to talk casey and joking. I don't really know all
- 31:06Speaker 8: the rest of them names, but Davante and jiggo and
- 31:17Speaker 8: come on now and every winter fine, now, come on.
- 31:21Speaker 11: Anything.
- 31:21Speaker 8: No trouble everywhere. If I've been around forty years, they
- 31:24Speaker 8: heard no trouble. Brothers, ain't no trouble. Just see all
- 31:28Speaker 8: my groups, ain't.
- 31:29Speaker 4: No trouble.
- 31:31Speaker 8: Okay, while I'm going Yeah, so you'll just can't be
- 31:37Speaker 8: a damn group.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, Well.
- 31:38Speaker 1: If a fight break out up, I'm in there with jokes.
- 31:43Speaker 4: I'm going to an R and B concert to fight.
- 31:46Speaker 4: That's a damn shame.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Why don't you.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Just go to just go to hip hop concert? Jos,
- 31:54Speaker 4: just get it over with.
- 31:57Speaker 9: He's going to see go to.
- 31:59Speaker 8: A hip hop say, or a new comedy show, because
- 32:01Speaker 8: that's what they do a new comedy shows.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Now they fight.
- 32:08Speaker 8: I don't know why comedians have given up on the
- 32:10Speaker 8: objective that we're supposed to have, which is to make
- 32:13Speaker 8: people laugh. Your job is not to go up there
- 32:17Speaker 8: and be as insulting as you can. Now, if you
- 32:20Speaker 8: get a heckler, then that's a free run for you.
- 32:23Speaker 8: If you get hecko from the stage, you have every
- 32:25Speaker 8: right to dismantle this person by any means necessary. But
- 32:31Speaker 8: y'all just trying to get into comedy.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Just listen to me. The objective is to make people laugh.
- 32:38Speaker 4: That is the objective.
- 32:40Speaker 8: Y'all slowly started turning it into shock let's say, the
- 32:45Speaker 8: most shocking stuff. Then you turn around into let's say,
- 32:49Speaker 8: the most degrading stuff, and then it became insults, and
- 32:53Speaker 8: now comedy is a damn fistfight every weekend. Wow, shocking
- 32:57Speaker 8: is not funny, It's not man. The reaction should be laughs,
- 33:03Speaker 8: not us and ours. That's not what comedy is. And
- 33:07Speaker 8: the comedians who have gotten that very very confused. And
- 33:10Speaker 8: I know exactly what I'm talking about, so they know, Man,
- 33:12Speaker 8: you old Steve how No, this is the way it works.
- 33:15Speaker 8: This is how you make the money. Because the people
- 33:17Speaker 8: who don't make people laugh do not make money. I'm sorry, Yeah,
- 33:22Speaker 8: ain't nobody paying to come see you fight?
- 33:27Speaker 4: UFC?
- 33:28Speaker 8: Why I don't though, So like you know, for me, man,
- 33:31Speaker 8: Like I say, the comedy just took a turn, and
- 33:34Speaker 8: it wasn't for I don't think it was for the better.
- 33:37Speaker 4: There are still great ones out there.
- 33:40Speaker 8: Like I'm gonna tell you who I've really enjoyed lately
- 33:42Speaker 8: watching out on stage is Cat Williams. I've really enjoyed
- 33:46Speaker 8: watching Cat Williams lately because his comedy has changed. I
- 33:50Speaker 8: remember Cat one time said, man out that telling all
- 33:53Speaker 8: them old last jokes. Well, now Cat old, and now
- 33:57Speaker 8: I guess what. You can only talk about your existence
- 34:00Speaker 8: in comedy, and Kat is mastering that part of his
- 34:03Speaker 8: life now at you know, talking about his mistakes and
- 34:06Speaker 8: run ins. And I really really enjoyed this brother's comedy
- 34:09Speaker 8: about his age, about aging and getting older because Adele
- 34:13Speaker 8: Givens did it at the Death Jam twenty five year reunion.
- 34:17Speaker 8: Adele Givens went out there, man, and her routine at
- 34:21Speaker 8: Death Jam was so dope.
- 34:24Speaker 6: Man.
- 34:24Speaker 8: It was all about getting older, and everybody in the
- 34:28Speaker 8: audience who was watching Deaf Jam twenty five years ago
- 34:31Speaker 8: who are now older, could relate to everything she was saying,
- 34:34Speaker 8: because your comedy has to be relatable to your life
- 34:37Speaker 8: and your world now. And that's when comedy becomes very
- 34:41Speaker 8: real because every good joke is ninety five percent truth.
- 34:46Speaker 8: Five percent we add color to it, but a good
- 34:49Speaker 8: ass joke is ninety to ninety five percent truth. Like
- 34:54Speaker 8: I did a joke about it was a news story
- 34:57Speaker 8: that came out about SeaWorld, and I wrote a joke
- 35:00Speaker 8: about SeaWorld and it was current news event, but it.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Was it was the truth.
- 35:04Speaker 8: Well, you couldn't get mad at me, but I just
- 35:07Speaker 8: gave you what the whale was thinking that day when
- 35:10Speaker 8: he came to work. And the whole joke I wrote
- 35:13Speaker 8: was the whale's attitude when he came to work. It
- 35:17Speaker 8: was just one of them days. You know how they
- 35:18Speaker 8: hold a little fish up and you jump and you
- 35:20Speaker 8: get the fish. This was the day the whale didn't
- 35:22Speaker 8: want to do that, and he didn't he wanted motive.
- 35:26Speaker 1: We know the story.
- 35:28Speaker 4: We'll want to see it though.
- 35:30Speaker 8: That's why I can't do stand up right now because
- 35:32Speaker 8: of moments like that, because the climate has changed now.
- 35:35Speaker 8: And I'm just giving you an example of how a
- 35:38Speaker 8: joke should be ninety percent real and who I've enjoyed
- 35:40Speaker 8: telling jokes. That's all I wanted to say. Y'all, have
- 35:43Speaker 8: a great day. For the next joke. I give your
- 35:46Speaker 8: purpose though.
- 35:47Speaker 9: It's coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, and
- 35:50Speaker 9: heir to the Rmez fortune plans to leave his eleven
- 35:53Speaker 9: billion dollar fortune through his former gardner. We'll talk about
- 35:57Speaker 9: that right after this.
- 35:58Speaker 4: What to Margine.
- 36:03Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning show. All right, guys, this story
- 36:07Speaker 9: is wild right here. Eighty year old Nicholas Puek is

- 36:18Speaker 9: one year old former gardener and handyman and lead his
- 36:22Speaker 9: eleven billion dollar fortune along with five point nine million
- 36:26Speaker 9: dollars of properties worth of properties to his former gardener.
- 36:31Speaker 9: Puek is the grandson of the Ermez founder and he
- 36:34Speaker 9: owns five point seven percent of the company, but he
- 36:38Speaker 9: fell out with his wealthy family over ten years ago
- 36:41Speaker 9: over a business decision that he did.
- 36:43Speaker 11: Not agree with.
- 36:44Speaker 9: Puek is single, he has no children, and he considers
- 36:48Speaker 9: his gardener, whose identity has been withheld, to be like
- 36:52Speaker 9: family to him. The gardener reportedly is from a modest
- 36:55Speaker 9: Moroccan family and he has a Spanish wife and two children.
- 36:58Speaker 9: If Puek goes through with the adoption, the gardener and
- 37:02Speaker 9: his family will inherit eleven billion that's billion with a
- 37:07Speaker 9: B dollars and have several homes valued it almost six
- 37:10Speaker 9: million dollars. So it's good to be a garden.
- 37:13Speaker 8: I'm not going to say this is true or not,
- 37:14Speaker 8: but the prayer for his death is right after that.
- 37:17Speaker 8: You can believe that that God whoa any day now?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Can you adopt an adult? Can you adopt you?
- 37:26Speaker 9: I think you can.

- 38:21Speaker 9: with an estimated value of two hundred million or two
- 38:26Speaker 9: hundred billion dollars.
- 38:28Speaker 4: He gets five percent.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Money right there?
- 38:34Speaker 4: Billion yard at four billion?
- 38:38Speaker 9: Can you imagine his gardener, what his gardener is thinking?
- 38:42Speaker 4: And I used to cut yards.
- 38:44Speaker 9: See good to be the gardener.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Cut the wrong Yeah, get over there and go and

- 54:10Speaker 4: It could be yours. Bugle up and hold on tight.
- 54:12Speaker 4: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Let.
- 54:15Speaker 9: Up, thank you. A few subjects He can laugh but
- 54:18Speaker 9: I can't. Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband and I have
- 54:21Speaker 9: been married for eight years and we have three children
- 54:24Speaker 9: under age six that means I'm always tired and trying
- 54:28Speaker 9: to get a nap whenever I can. If I happen
- 54:30Speaker 9: to be in the bed lying down or on the
- 54:32Speaker 9: couch lying down, my husband thinks it's a perfect time
- 54:36Speaker 9: for him to ask for sex. Although I might be
- 54:38Speaker 9: very tired at the moment, I will always give him
- 54:41Speaker 9: a quickie so he won't feel neglected. I don't want
- 54:44Speaker 9: to be so tired that I make him go seek
- 54:46Speaker 9: intimacy from another woman. Last week, I was so tired
- 54:50Speaker 9: that I fell asleep a couple of times during intimacy,
- 54:53Speaker 9: and my husband did not stop. That was the most
- 54:56Speaker 9: inconsiderate thing he's ever done to me. I ignored him
- 55:00Speaker 9: for two days until he gave me a proper apology.
- 55:03Speaker 9: Right after that, he was out back talking to his
- 55:05Speaker 9: friend on the phone, and I heard him cackling like
- 55:08Speaker 9: an old hen. He told his friend that the love
- 55:11Speaker 9: making is getting more terrible than it has ever been,
- 55:14Speaker 9: and that I expect him to do all of the work.
- 55:17Speaker 9: Whatever his friend said back to him, he started laughing
- 55:20Speaker 9: and could not stop. He kept on agreeing with him
- 55:23Speaker 9: and saying, that's exactly how bad our sex is. So
- 55:27Speaker 9: since he thought having sex with me was so funny.
- 55:30Speaker 9: I planned a romantic evening for us, and after we
- 55:33Speaker 9: got out of the bubble bath, we moved to the bedroom.
- 55:36Speaker 9: As soon as he touched me, I giggled. He asked
- 55:40Speaker 9: if I was okay, but I ignored him. Midway through sex,
- 55:44Speaker 9: I was laughing so loudly that he stopped. I told
- 55:47Speaker 9: him he's not what he used to be either, but
- 55:50Speaker 9: I put up with him. He got so offended and
- 55:54Speaker 9: said that he would not tolerate the disrespect because he
- 55:57Speaker 9: knows he's a king at pleasing women. Now he's mad,
- 56:01Speaker 9: so he can laugh but I can't. Yeah, that's exactly
- 56:05Speaker 9: what he thinks. That's what he's doing. All you did
- 56:08Speaker 9: was give him a taste of his very own medicine,
- 56:10Speaker 9: and of course he hated it. When he was talking
- 56:13Speaker 9: to his friend, not once did he consider your feelings,
- 56:17Speaker 9: that you may hear him or anything. It was okay
- 56:19Speaker 9: for him, but not for you.
- 56:21Speaker 3: That's not what he.
- 56:23Speaker 9: Should have been telling his friend about that part of
- 56:25Speaker 9: your marriage anyway. That's why they call it intimacy. Okay,
- 56:29Speaker 9: it's not his friend's business. What goes on in your
- 56:32Speaker 9: bedroom that is between you and your husband.
- 56:35Speaker 11: Period.
- 56:36Speaker 9: Now his fragile ego is bruised and he's mad, and
- 56:39Speaker 9: it's a good time I think now to talk to
- 56:41Speaker 9: him and let him know how you feel. And when
- 56:44Speaker 9: you're tired from the kids and he wants sex, and
- 56:47Speaker 9: when he complains to his friend, tell him all about that.
- 56:50Speaker 9: Maybe you know, if he helps you more with the kids,
- 56:53Speaker 9: maybe you wouldn't.
- 56:54Speaker 11: Be so tired.
- 56:54Speaker 9: Tell him all of it. So if there's a possibility
- 56:57Speaker 9: of you guys working it out, you can steve.
- 57:01Speaker 8: Okay, first of all, before I get started, I like
- 57:04Speaker 8: Shirley's answer, so I'm not mad at that at all.
- 57:07Speaker 8: I think it has some valid points to it, and
- 57:09Speaker 8: I can understand where she's coming from, because she did
- 57:11Speaker 8: make a good point about Look, dude, if you help
- 57:14Speaker 8: out a little bit, might be.
- 57:15Speaker 4: A little bit more property. But I think the letter
- 57:18Speaker 4: of he can laugh, but I can't.
- 57:20Speaker 8: I don't even really think that's what this letter is about,
- 57:23Speaker 8: because the damaging part of this letter is all in
- 57:26Speaker 8: the top. It ain't at the bottom until he made
- 57:30Speaker 8: this one stupid statement at the bottom that just threw
- 57:34Speaker 8: me completely. This woman, they have three children. They been
- 57:40Speaker 8: married eight years. They got three kids, all under the
- 57:43Speaker 8: age of six. She been pregnant the whole time. You've
- 57:47Speaker 8: been married eight years. You got three kids, all of
- 57:51Speaker 8: them under the age of six. After two years, this
- 57:55Speaker 8: woman being pregnant half the time. If you do the
- 57:59Speaker 8: math on it, right, I mean, that's been a lot,
- 58:04Speaker 8: and having children is hard, and having children is like, oh,
- 58:09Speaker 8: it's a phenomenal thing that women are able to do.
- 58:14Speaker 4: So she says she's always tired. I can believe that.
- 58:17Speaker 4: I really can't.
- 58:19Speaker 8: She's trying to get a nap whenever she can. Three
- 58:21Speaker 8: kids under six. Now here's a problem.
- 58:26Speaker 5: If I happen to be in the bed lying down
- 58:28Speaker 5: or on the couch lying down, my husband thinks it's
- 58:31Speaker 5: the perfect time for him to ask for sex.
- 58:35Speaker 8: Well, let me give you the male point of view
- 58:37Speaker 8: on that. You know what your husband is thinking, Well,
- 58:41Speaker 8: you are just laying there.
- 58:44Speaker 5: You ain't doing nothing, which is what she needs to do,
- 58:49Speaker 5: be able to lay there and do nothing, because when
- 58:53Speaker 5: she's awake and them kids are awake, she busy.
- 58:57Speaker 4: But no, no, no, mister selfish, you just laying here.
- 59:02Speaker 5: And then you said, although I might be very tired
- 59:06Speaker 5: at the moment, I will always give him a quickie.
- 59:09Speaker 8: So he won't feel neglected. I don't want to be
- 59:12Speaker 8: so tired that I making go seek intimacy from another woman.
- 59:16Speaker 5: Wow, that's awfully considerate of you. Now it's too bad
- 59:22Speaker 5: he don't give you the same consideration. I want it,
- 59:26Speaker 5: I want it, I want it, I want it, I
- 59:28Speaker 5: want it. Well, damn dog, Okay, so I got it.
- 59:33Speaker 5: So now you're a very considerate person.
- 59:34Speaker 4: He isn't.
- 59:37Speaker 8: So Then last week she said she was so tired
- 59:39Speaker 8: that she fell asleep a couple of times during intimacy
- 59:45Speaker 8: and my husband did not stop. Well, now we got
- 59:52Speaker 8: a problem here. You mean I ain't doing nothing worth
- 59:56Speaker 8: a damn where you can just go to sleep while
- 59:58Speaker 8: I while I'm working, And you fell asleep a couple
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: of times doing intimacy and he didn't stop. Damn, that
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: was the most inconsidered thing he's ever done to me.
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: I knowed him for a couple of days until he
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: gave me a proper apology. That's that's crazy. I don't
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: think this dude is all that spectacular bed now. I
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: know later on he gonna say that, and I'll point
- 1:00:24Speaker 8: that out. But you you ain't going to sleep while
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: I'm indio working.
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: That's all all right, hang on, Steve, we'll have part
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject he can laugh
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: but I can't. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: The subject is he can laugh but I can't.
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: Well, this woman has these children, right, and she has
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: three children, all in the age six. He's been married
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: to a guy eight years and she's always tied from
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: the kids. And so she's down on the sofa of
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: the bed. Her husband thinks that's a perfect time to
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: ask for sex. She accommodates him even though she's tired,
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: because she don't want him to go seeking intimacy from
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: another woman. And then she'll so she'll give him a
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: quickie so he don't feel neglected. She's very considerate. And
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: so anyway, last week she said she was so tired
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: that she fell asleep a couple of times during intimacy,
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: and my husband did not stop. Damn dog, while y'all
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: was be an intimate she fell asleep twice.
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: What was you doing?
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: Dog?
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: I'm telling you right now, bro, you ain't the cook
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: in the kitchen.
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: You thought you were cause she's sleep So then he
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: didn't stop, and then she said, that's the most inconsiderate
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: thing he's ever done to me. So I ignored him
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: for a couple of days till he gave me a
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: proper apology. Right after that, he was out in the
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: backyard talking to one of his friends on the phone,
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: and you heard him laughing and joking to his friend
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: on the phone. He told his friend that the love
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: making is getting more terrible than it's ever been, and
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: that I expect him to do all the work.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: This is what your husband is saying.
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: Whatever his friend said back to him, he started laughing
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: and couldn't stop. He kept on agreeing with him and saying,
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: that's exactly how bad our sex is. Wait a minute, man,
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: I didn't know. Excuse me, I've been a man a
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: long time. I didn't know that men did that. I
- 1:02:38Speaker 8: really didn't.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: I personally have never had a conversation with any of
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: my friends about their wife and their sex life.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Not a one.
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: I've never been in a group of men and we're
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: talking and one man artist talking about his sex life
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: with his wife, his girl that's a whole nother thing.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: Some chick over there. Yeh, that that.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: But I've never heard a man discuss him and his
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: wife's sex life to another man.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: I've never heard it. Obviously it happens, but I've never
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: heard it. This must be a young.
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: Couple, because in the old school book of things that
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: that's it's just not how we do it.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: A group of me and friends and I get together.
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: We all went to college together, we together once a year,
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: and we are as cool as cool can be. We've
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: never had that discussion amongst each other ever, and we
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: were close, so I didn't know you could do that.
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: But anyway, let's get down to this letter. Whatever the
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: friend said back, he laughed. He couldn't stop it. He
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: kept agreeing with him, saying, that's exactly how bad the
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: sex is. So since he thought having sex with me
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: was so funny, I planned this romantic evening. We get
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: out the bubbo bath, were in there having dinner. We
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: go to the bedroom, and as soon as he touched me,
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: I giggled, so he asked if I was okay, but
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: I ignored him. Midway through sex, I was laughing so
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: loudly that he stopped okay, so she giving him a
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: taste of his own medicine. I told him he's not
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: what he used to be either, but I put up
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: with him. He got so offended and he said he
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: would not tolerate the disrespect.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: Now this is the next line I couldn't believe came
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: out his mouth. He said, because he's no, he knows
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: he's the king at pleasing women.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: But he was mad. He was mad.
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: Yeah, but you told that to your wife, said, dumb, dumb,
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: I'm the king of pleasing women.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: You said that to your wife. Now that gives me
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: a time to point out something.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: If you you're the king of pleasing women, what happened
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: when doing intimacy? A couple of times your wife fell
- 1:05:09Speaker 8: asleep while the king of pleasure was in the handling
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: his business.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: Ain't king. I got news for you.
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: You ain't who you think you are. Dog, she will
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: sleep twice. You said you're the king at pleasing women.
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: The one you got went to sleep twice while you
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: was in there at work. Now you ain't the king
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: of pleasing women. You ain't even depressed. You're the court gesture.
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: Yeah you yeah, you you you're a quelud dog.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: That's what you are.
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: You're a nice little kualude. Now he's mad, so he
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: can laugh, but I can't. I can't believe your husband
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: said that it's too bad. He'll get over it, he'll
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: go he don't tolerate the disrespect Well, you see me
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: sleep and you keep on badgering me.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: That's disrespectful too.
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: If y'all don't sit down and have a conversation real soon,
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: y'all had it for some for an ugly part of
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: your marriage. And that's the real deal. Y'all need to
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: sit down and have his talk. Sureley was one hundre
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: percent correct. You need to tell him how he feels,
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: how you feel sometime about him not allowing you to
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: give it rest, and then y'all can have instead of
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: a bunch of little, short or remorseful quickies, you can
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: have some actual real times if you plan it a
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: little bit better, and then both of y'all could be happy.
- 1:06:39Speaker 8: But he's self centered and selfish because he wanted when
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: he wanted, and quit giving it to him, because you
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: ain't gonna do nothing but go to sleep right now,
- 1:06:47Speaker 8: because you're king a pleasure. Ain't a king a pleasure
- 1:06:49Speaker 8: no more.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: He ain't taking on today's letter kp he LP Little Pleasure.

- 1:07:25Speaker 10: Yeah, Charlie fourteen man one is as a freshman won

- 1:07:30Speaker 4: That's a bad boy.
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: If you say, yes, aw man, if I had his
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: game right now, you beat everybody I play with. If
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: I had this golf game, if I hit any of any.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: Of my shots like he hit him right, should walk
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: like his daddy? Stay? Yeah, he got what is the goat?
- 1:07:51Speaker 14: So?
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: Yeah, Michael Jordan got some sons too. So what're were talking?
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: They don't stand like that? Yeah, I guess cast that
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: your daddy right now, don't that?
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: I tell you what CAUs that's your daddy.
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: Yeah, Well, let's go ahead and tell you this master

- 1:10:13Speaker 9: to wants you to answer, Steve, and we'll get into
- 1:10:16Speaker 9: that right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. This
- 1:10:23Speaker 9: is from CJ and Lansing. Steve CJ says, my wife
- 1:10:28Speaker 9: joined a group that supports after school programs for children.
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: She told me that there's a little boy at one
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: of the schools and he looks just like me, he
- 1:10:36Speaker 9: walks like me, and his initials are CJ, but his
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: last name is Jeffreys. My heart jumped into my throat
- 1:10:43Speaker 9: because there's a good chance that I have a son
- 1:10:46Speaker 9: or a daughter out there that I don't know about.
- 1:10:49Speaker 9: I was a wild boy before I joined the military,
- 1:10:51Speaker 9: and when I left, I didn't keep up in touch
- 1:10:54Speaker 9: with I didn't keep in touch with anyone. I told
- 1:10:57Speaker 9: my wife to see if she can find out information
- 1:10:59Speaker 9: on the mother of the boy, and she got mad,
- 1:11:01Speaker 9: as if I had admitted he was my son. How
- 1:11:04Speaker 9: can she get upset with me if it might have
- 1:11:07Speaker 9: happened before I met her? How do I handle this?
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: Bro?
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: Bro?
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: What?
- 1:11:13Speaker 14: What?
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: What did you tell your wife to find out information
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: on the mother? What's wrong with you? You're stupid?
- 1:11:21Speaker 9: But he did it?
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: Dog, You could have did that on your own if
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: you were curious. You don't drag your wife into that.
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: Now your wife going, wait a minute, there's a possibility
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: that this is your boy.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: I was just playing dog.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Dog.
- 1:11:38Speaker 8: That ain't the brightest thing you could do to ask
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: your wife get some information on the mother.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: Because it could be a pun But dog, you know
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: how many kids look like me?
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: But I'll see him all time?
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: And what do you say?
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: Not one on?
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: What I'm gonna say? It ain't mine? Hey, little boy?
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: What's your mama name? What city your mama living?
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: He shouldn't do that?
- 1:12:14Speaker 9: How should he handle it?
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: What should he do?
- 1:12:16Speaker 9: I mean he's done. You know what he should?
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: He'd have done it now. It's nothing you can do now, Bro?
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: Can she get mad? She's already mad?
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: What do you mean? Can she get mad? She's mad?
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: Can that break up your relationship?
- 1:12:31Speaker 11: Bro?
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: He should have researched that on your damn own. Find
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: out who the little boy was. Get some information. Man,
- 1:12:41Speaker 5: you stupid man with the military and didn't learn a
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: damn thing come back.
- 1:12:46Speaker 9: Home, so you have no advice for what he should
- 1:12:48Speaker 9: do now.

- 1:13:22Speaker 9: close friends with my ex boyfriend, and I don't like
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: that at all, so I've been avoiding my dad. My
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: dad came by to talk to me about the situation,
- 1:13:30Speaker 9: and my new boyfriend jumped into the mix and told
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: my dad that he needs to get some friends his
- 1:13:36Speaker 9: own age. They got into an argument, and now my
- 1:13:39Speaker 9: dad hates my boyfriend. Why is my dad all up
- 1:13:43Speaker 9: in my business? Did my boyfriend handle this correctly?
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: No?
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: No, your boyfriend should have stayed out of that.
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: Yeah, that should have been between you and your dad,
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: and your dad should have came over here and made
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: him in. You gotta distance yourself. You can't do that, man.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: You gotta respect your daughter, and so you got to
