- 0:00Speaker 1: Today show is pre recorded.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Y'all know what time y'all don't know y'all.
- 0:09Speaker 3: At all at all?
- 0:12Speaker 1: Don't given them.
- 0:15Speaker 2: The bush?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Yeah listening too?
- 0:38Speaker 4: I want joy? Yeah? Joy? You turn, you.
- 1:24Speaker 5: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouth. Turn You probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: the mouth, turn out, turn a wad of the moat.
- 1:47Speaker 6: A job wouldn't.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 7: You think, Ah huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 7: You are listening to the voice, come on, dig me now?
- 2:08Speaker 7: Want and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:13Speaker 7: If y'all only knew, I think I'll tell it to you.
- 2:17Speaker 7: This morning man started off real crazy. But it's just
- 2:20Speaker 7: those little mishaps where we as people who are striving
- 2:25Speaker 7: to be successful that makes all the difference in the world.
- 2:30Speaker 7: When you have those little minor things that come up,
- 2:33Speaker 7: you can't let the minor things stop you. You've got
- 2:36Speaker 7: to keep pressing forward. Now, Could I have played the
- 2:40Speaker 7: role of where is my car? Where is my car?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Oh?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Where is my car? Instead of hustling and grab a cab?
- 2:50Speaker 2: So what am I? Am I above a cab ride now?
- 2:54Speaker 7: Or do I have to look at the bigger picture
- 2:56Speaker 7: and say, okay, I could act like a little spoiled
- 2:59Speaker 7: brat sometimes a star and goal I don't ride in
- 3:01Speaker 7: cabs or where's my car? And then go to blaming
- 3:04Speaker 7: people for not having a car, or do I make
- 3:06Speaker 7: the adjustments because ain't like I ain't been in a
- 3:08Speaker 7: cab before now slow down. Ain't like I ain't never
- 3:11Speaker 7: been enough in a beat up car before, slow down.
- 3:14Speaker 7: Ain't ever like I ain't never had a car and
- 3:17Speaker 7: rode a bus before slow down. Ain't like I ain't
- 3:21Speaker 7: never been homeless before, and ain't have nowhere to go?
- 3:24Speaker 7: Slow down. So in those moments right there, always remember
- 3:28Speaker 7: where you come from, but even more importantly, always remember
- 3:32Speaker 7: where you trying to go, because it's important for me
- 3:36Speaker 7: that I get here as many mornings as I possibly can.
- 3:39Speaker 7: It's important because that's the goal. And so many people
- 3:42Speaker 7: allow a minor things to stop them on their road
- 3:45Speaker 7: to success. And I'm giving you this example today not
- 3:49Speaker 7: to say hey, look at me, but to say to you, hey,
- 3:52Speaker 7: listen to me. There are going to be a lot
- 3:54Speaker 7: of things that's going to happen along your way to
- 3:56Speaker 7: beings successful, and if you allow the small things to
- 3:59Speaker 7: stop you, there's no way you'll make it. You've got
- 4:01Speaker 7: to always press forward and stop looking at the situation
- 4:04Speaker 7: for what it is and look, sometimes you have to
- 4:06Speaker 7: take your eye off right now and put your eye
- 4:09Speaker 7: in the future. You know, God has blessed me in
- 4:11Speaker 7: so many ways. I mean, what can I say? You know,
- 4:14Speaker 7: I ask God for this syndicated show. He gives me
- 4:16Speaker 7: a syndicated show. Nia act like I don't want to
- 4:19Speaker 7: come to it. Hold on, man, slow down? Did not
- 4:21Speaker 7: you ask for this? Do I not realize that there
- 4:25Speaker 7: are certain people, man, who look forward to this message
- 4:28Speaker 7: in the morning. I've heard it from people, so from
- 4:32Speaker 7: the hundreds that I've heard it for, that could represent
- 4:35Speaker 7: thousands for all I know. So if I think somebody's
- 4:39Speaker 7: counting on me, I got to try to get there
- 4:41Speaker 7: and give something. So today I didn't have any time
- 4:44Speaker 7: at all to think about what I might say. I
- 4:46Speaker 7: just walk right in and the jingle was playing, and
- 4:48Speaker 7: so I decided to just tell you about my day
- 4:51Speaker 7: and maybe you can relate it to something you going
- 4:53Speaker 7: through along the way, because no matter who you are,
- 4:56Speaker 7: you're going to have some moments man, where things are
- 4:59Speaker 7: going to happen. And like I always tell my kids,
- 5:02Speaker 7: and I just had this conversation with my little girl.
- 5:04Speaker 7: It ain't that things ain't gonna happen. It's how you
- 5:07Speaker 7: handle what happens that matters. But it don't matter. It's
- 5:11Speaker 7: how you handle what happens that's the determining factor on
- 5:15Speaker 7: where you get in life and how soon you get
- 5:18Speaker 7: there and how long you stay there. That will always
- 5:21Speaker 7: be a mishap, something that's gonna throw you off. There
- 5:26Speaker 7: will always be something man that could deter you. That
- 5:29Speaker 7: will be something somewhere, man, that will make you doubt it.
- 5:34Speaker 7: Now that you know that's gonna happen, then let's talk
- 5:37Speaker 7: about how you handle what happens, because it's going to happen.
- 5:41Speaker 7: So now, what do you do as a person when
- 5:43Speaker 7: these moments come about in your life? How do you handle?
- 5:46Speaker 2: Oh? Woe is me?
- 5:48Speaker 5: Oh?
- 5:49Speaker 2: I guess it wasn't meant to be. Well.
- 5:51Speaker 7: If the Lord wanted me to have this, I'd have that.
- 5:55Speaker 7: How many damn many times you hear people say that,
- 5:57Speaker 7: You know, man, it really irks me. Man, Stop using
- 6:00Speaker 7: God as your excuse. God ain't no excuse. God is
- 6:05Speaker 7: a reason. He's a reason why the good happens. He's
- 6:11Speaker 7: a reason. He's not an excuse. God don't have no excuses,
- 6:15Speaker 7: and none of his scriptures or writings not that I
- 6:18Speaker 7: he just don't make excuses.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I would have done this.
- 6:21Speaker 7: But you know there's a scripture that says the poor
- 6:25Speaker 7: will all shall always be amongst us.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Why that's got to be you.
- 6:30Speaker 7: Yeah, he said the poor will always be amongst us,
- 6:32Speaker 7: because you know, everybody ain't gonna follow the principles of success.
- 6:36Speaker 7: But he also said he came to give you life
- 6:38Speaker 7: and give it to you more abundantly. He said that too,
- 6:41Speaker 7: But oh no, you don't want to hear that because
- 6:43Speaker 7: your life kind of trip it out a little bit.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So now what you do with it?
- 6:46Speaker 7: Now, you twist it and you go to that one
- 6:49Speaker 7: little scripture that say well, the poor shall always be
- 6:52Speaker 7: amongst us. Well, that's put in there because that's a
- 6:56Speaker 7: that's suggests in case. See, that's a just in case
- 6:59Speaker 7: you don't want to follow the scriptures. That's just in
- 7:03Speaker 7: case you don't understand that faith without works is dead.
- 7:07Speaker 7: That's just in case you have not because you ask. Now,
- 7:10Speaker 7: it's just in case you don't believe and shall not doubt.
- 7:14Speaker 7: He got all that in there, But in case you
- 7:16Speaker 7: don't want to do that there is a scripture that
- 7:19Speaker 7: tells you what will happen if you don't do it,
- 7:21Speaker 7: and here it is the poor shall always be amongst us.
- 7:24Speaker 7: But then you get that when they say, well, that's
- 7:26Speaker 7: I guess that's the Lord's will. Lord's will, really, really,
- 7:30Speaker 7: really really that's amazing. I just don't believe that about him.
- 7:36Speaker 7: I don't believe that God created your life to be
- 7:39Speaker 7: a life of misery. I think that we make decisions
- 7:44Speaker 7: along the way that cause us to have lives of misery.
- 7:47Speaker 7: But I really really just don't believe that God created
- 7:52Speaker 7: you for that. I've heard Nelson Mandela speak, and you know,
- 7:58Speaker 7: you gotta go wild. All those years in prison, Man,
- 8:03Speaker 7: what was it about? When you hear him speak, you
- 8:05Speaker 7: understand what it was about. He said he always knew
- 8:09Speaker 7: he would be free one day. Now, what he said
- 8:12Speaker 7: he never knew was he said, he never knew that
- 8:15Speaker 7: he would be the president of that country. Oh my goodness,
- 8:21Speaker 7: what a long way around. But he could have set
- 8:24Speaker 7: there and got involved in prison activities that wasn't up
- 8:28Speaker 7: to paw and things like that. And they said whenever
- 8:32Speaker 7: young inmates used to come in. He was telling the
- 8:34Speaker 7: story one time of how young inmates used to come
- 8:36Speaker 7: into the prison. They all sit around and talk to
- 8:39Speaker 7: him about what they were doing and how many kids
- 8:41Speaker 7: they had in their lives, and it helped them keep
- 8:43Speaker 7: track of the outside a little bit, and it kept
- 8:46Speaker 7: a sense of time for them, and it reminded me
- 8:49Speaker 7: to talk about what they left behind, and it kept
- 8:51Speaker 7: them going because something.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Was greater on the other side.
- 8:56Speaker 7: Had he allowed that to stop him, had he allowed
- 8:59Speaker 7: the imprisonment, which is a pretty major deal. Oh, by
- 9:02Speaker 7: the way, then guess what he would have never been
- 9:05Speaker 7: the Nelson Mandela that we know today, a martyr, a leader,
- 9:09Speaker 7: a great force. People want to go around him. Even
- 9:12Speaker 7: people that imprisoned him could not understand his staunch strength,
- 9:17Speaker 7: his faith, his unwavering commitment. They couldn't understand it. So
- 9:22Speaker 7: things are going to happen in your life, but it's
- 9:24Speaker 7: how you handle what happens doesn't matter. So keep pushing, y'all.
- 9:27Speaker 7: Don't let the little things get in the way, okay,
- 9:29Speaker 7: And if you just sometimes you just don't know. I
- 9:32Speaker 7: got in a cab thinking I wasn't gonna make it,
- 9:34Speaker 7: but at least let's go see, let's try.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I made it.
- 9:38Speaker 7: Now, guess what that gives me another piece of information
- 9:41Speaker 7: that I have, and all I had to see it
- 9:43Speaker 7: again today. Guess what I said today? Man, sometime when
- 9:47Speaker 7: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, just go
- 9:49Speaker 7: ahead on anywhere.
- 9:50Speaker 8: Now.
- 9:50Speaker 7: I could still be back there at the hotel talking
- 9:52Speaker 7: about where my car, but I got up in here
- 9:54Speaker 7: made it.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So Now what y'all gonna do with it? Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Lady and gentlemen, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Back at you Live again, full of gratitude, full of favor.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Still here.
- 10:10Speaker 7: I'm gonna have a share honest thing with you. The
- 10:13Speaker 7: other day, I was a little bit what myself.
- 10:16Speaker 8: I was.
- 10:17Speaker 7: I was, let me say, mentally under the weather because
- 10:21Speaker 7: a couple of things I was working on just hadn't
- 10:24Speaker 7: panned out the way I wanted. And it was just
- 10:27Speaker 7: but for lack of other words, I was a little
- 10:29Speaker 7: bit down. And so I sat down with God and
- 10:33Speaker 7: I said, God, just help me, because man, I just
- 10:37Speaker 7: I just feel I'm disconnected right now.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I feel like I'm I'm just wandering right now. Man.
- 10:43Speaker 7: I can't seem to get this thing right. I can't
- 10:46Speaker 7: get this close like I want to, I won't.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And then and then just.
- 10:52Speaker 7: Something, man, you remember you tell all y'all. I said,
- 10:54Speaker 7: you know, whenever you feel down, just start being grateful. Well,
- 10:58Speaker 7: he whispered to me. He said, I know what's going wrong,
- 11:01Speaker 7: but can you tell me what what you got going right?
- 11:04Speaker 7: And I started being grateful, and I'll be dog gone.
- 11:09Speaker 7: It turned around for me, It really did. It turned
- 11:12Speaker 7: around for me because I realized, all of a sudden, man, wow,
- 11:17Speaker 7: even if what I'm chasing don't happen, what I've captured
- 11:21Speaker 7: is good enough.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And in the words of Earth, Wind and Fire, you
- 11:26Speaker 2: can't lose what you never had. You just can't, man,
- 11:31Speaker 2: love it. Come on, yeah, come on either of Yeah, bro,
- 11:34Speaker 2: I'm just sitting up here. Go you can't lose what
- 11:36Speaker 2: you never had.
- 11:37Speaker 7: If I never even get that deal, ain't out and
- 11:42Speaker 7: made it sixty eight years without it, boy, come on, man.
- 11:46Speaker 7: So sometimes, just as a suggestion, folks, if you're out
- 11:49Speaker 7: there and you're starting to feel a little cloudy, when
- 11:51Speaker 7: your day and you starting to feel a little down,
- 11:53Speaker 7: like it ain't going right, just make a list of
- 11:56Speaker 7: everything that has gone right. Hard to set joy and
- 12:00Speaker 7: depression cannot reside in the same space. I learned that
- 12:03Speaker 7: at my mama's funeral Steve Hawg Moore the show Sherlt
- 12:06Speaker 7: Strawberry Colin for Real Mississippi Monica Junior and the legend
- 12:09Speaker 7: that is Nephew Tommy Junior.
- 12:11Speaker 9: Yeah, stay right there, because you know I feel like
- 12:14Speaker 9: that too sometimes, Man, a lot of us do, because
- 12:17Speaker 9: we get caught up in what's not going right, and
- 12:19Speaker 9: we stay on the negative so long, Like.
- 12:22Speaker 10: When do we start doing it?
- 12:23Speaker 4: Like right then?
- 12:23Speaker 9: Because we will focus on the negative so long and
- 12:26Speaker 9: we forget to be grateful.
- 12:27Speaker 7: Well, I'll admit, you know, we're human, and sometimes you
- 12:31Speaker 7: get caught up in the focusing on the negative. You know,
- 12:34Speaker 7: we're humans, so and sometimes the negative appears to be
- 12:38Speaker 7: big and you just keep dwelling on it. Well, the
- 12:41Speaker 7: more you dwell on a negative subject, the more negative
- 12:44Speaker 7: it becomes. You can't fix a negative situation with more negativity.
- 12:50Speaker 7: You must interject light. I don't care if you are to.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Pitch black cave.
- 12:56Speaker 7: If you strike a match, that match be comes the
- 13:00Speaker 7: most telling thing in the cave. You have got to
- 13:04Speaker 7: introduce light into your darkness. Just a little bit of
- 13:09Speaker 7: light in a pitch black cave. Becomes the thing. It's
- 13:13Speaker 7: the focal point. So it's just critical man that you
- 13:17Speaker 7: do that. It's hard to do.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I'll admit, I gotta remember that.
- 13:20Speaker 5: It ain't been an okay, I'm supposed to take matches
- 13:23Speaker 5: in the cave see right here?
- 13:25Speaker 3: Okay, all right, and so it begins the show and
- 13:31Speaker 3: the stupidity.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Coming up.
- 13:33Speaker 3: At thirty two minutes after the hour, we will hear
- 13:36Speaker 3: from the man himself. Nephew, Tommy, I ain't got no
- 13:42Speaker 3: light in here. What you're listening? Hard morning show?

- 14:52Speaker 2: I don't know nobody on this show. I ain't ever
- 14:54Speaker 2: saying who ain't boy?
- 15:00Speaker 8: All right, dog?
- 15:02Speaker 11: If you would, let's go, don't let these white folks
- 15:05Speaker 11: help you get your head. Hello, Hey, I'm trying to

- 15:46Speaker 11: We filed it like we're supposed to file it, and
- 15:48Speaker 11: then we put and then we take the furth cliff
- 15:49Speaker 11: and put everything where it's supposed to be.
- 15:51Speaker 2: That's what we do.
- 15:52Speaker 8: What they gotta do with here, brother, because they saying.
- 15:55Speaker 5: They saying that, they saying that, you saying that we

- 17:17Speaker 5: It don't matter at me. All I'm saying is this,
- 17:23Speaker 5: why why are you running your while you're running your mouth,
- 17:26Speaker 5: Why you're running your mouth?

- 17:32Speaker 5: doing our job.

- 17:37Speaker 2: Now so so so what while your voice getting high
- 17:40Speaker 2: because you're.

- 22:39Speaker 3: my boyfriend to meet my parents and he hung out
- 22:41Speaker 3: with my two brothers. They said he acts like he's
- 22:44Speaker 3: better than them. My boyfriend said, my brothers aren't on
- 22:48Speaker 3: his level. I had to agree with him. Is it
- 22:51Speaker 3: important that your family likes your mate?
- 22:54Speaker 2: Oh no, not really. It helps, it helps, but it ain't.

- 28:24Speaker 7: Came up a week later, and it bertany came up

- 30:11Speaker 8: Celo.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Coming up at the top of the hour, we have
- 30:14Speaker 3: some entertainment news, sugar. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 30:22Speaker 3: Harvey Morning Show. Well rapper turned stand up comedian Ti
- 30:29Speaker 3: just taped his very first stand up comedy special. He
- 30:32Speaker 3: taped it this past weekend at Center Stage in Atlanta.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Especialist called quote an evening of comedy with comedian Tip
- 30:40Speaker 3: Harris and comedians from the Haha Mafia Collective performed as well.
- 30:44Speaker 3: C I said he plans to continue to blend his
- 30:47Speaker 3: humor with his life experiences on fame and fatherhood. Information
- 30:52Speaker 3: on how to watch the special wasn't given, but congratulations
- 30:55Speaker 3: to Ti. He's seeming to us stick with this stage.
- 31:00Speaker 7: That I'm just the same one it used to be,
- 31:03Speaker 7: like a thousand seater. That's it, that's it, and that
- 31:08Speaker 7: that was my first theater gig in Atlanta.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Ever, Oh ever, a thousand seed at just so congratulation
- 31:17Speaker 2: to Tip land Brats. Yeah right, so so so so
- 31:23Speaker 2: so how could you see it?
- 31:25Speaker 3: Well, it hasn't been given yet.
- 31:27Speaker 2: That okay, so he just recorded.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll keep everybody posted, of course, and moving on.
- 31:35Speaker 3: Leedless to say that Mike Tyson and Jake Paul have
- 31:39Speaker 3: no animosity toward each other. After Paul carried Mike Tyson
- 31:42Speaker 3: on his shoulders into Donald Trump's Starlight Ball Monday night,
- 31:47Speaker 3: as the crowd cheered them on, Paul posted the video
- 31:51Speaker 3: on his ig with the caption best friends, and the
- 31:54Speaker 3: video has gone viral. Paul is a big Trump supporter
- 31:58Speaker 3: and was spotted at the inauguration with another fan of Trump,
- 32:01Speaker 3: kind of Connor McGregor. But did we know that Tyson
- 32:05Speaker 3: was also supportive of Trump? Did anybody know?
- 32:08Speaker 2: I don't know what I tell you this. They looked
- 32:10Speaker 2: like best friends when they were fighting. That's what they
- 32:12Speaker 2: looked like.
- 32:12Speaker 3: When the Ragaul.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Yeah, they like me, like your best friend too. Yeah,
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'll be your friend, buddy.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 7: You know what, man, I'm not really like. I don't
- 32:27Speaker 7: really like who's a supporter of Trump? I don't really
- 32:30Speaker 7: I don't even really.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Care no more. I really don't know. Snoop, Snoop, Snoop
- 32:34Speaker 2: got a little situation going on.
- 32:36Speaker 1: But you know, snoopid.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Man because they posted what Snoop said said before.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Yeah in twenty seventeen.
- 32:46Speaker 3: Yeah, that was Yeah, people changed, so glad.
- 32:52Speaker 2: That was so glad.
- 32:54Speaker 5: It ain't me.
- 32:57Speaker 11: Ooh so.
- 33:04Speaker 9: My lord, my Lord toldy, hey.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Me come on.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Yeah, speaking of Snoop Dogg. He faced even more backlash
- 33:21Speaker 3: after he posted a tribute to doctor Martin Luther King
- 33:24Speaker 3: Junior on Monday. People were already upset with Snoop for
- 33:28Speaker 3: performing at Donald Trump's inauguration, and wasted no time blasting
- 33:32Speaker 3: him on social media. The commenters mostly noted that under
- 33:36Speaker 3: normal circumstances, they would expect Snoop to honor the legacy
- 33:39Speaker 3: of MLK Junior, but after he publicly supported troops, he
- 33:43Speaker 3: can't celebrate doctor King's legacy, Trump, Trump, I'm sorry, Trump,
- 33:48Speaker 3: he can't celebrate doctor King's legacy.
- 33:52Speaker 7: Well, I mean, he can celebrate doctor King his legacy.
- 33:55Speaker 7: But I think the posting of the Martin Luther King
- 33:59Speaker 7: thing was to try to soften the blow from the
- 34:03Speaker 7: stuff that you know.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I don't. I don't know why he did it.
- 34:07Speaker 7: I don't. I don't know the thought behind doing it,
- 34:10Speaker 7: not the yeah, performing, I don't understand that because you
- 34:17Speaker 7: said it yourself.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that this was a direct quote from you. One
- 34:22Speaker 2: of you Uncle Tom's is gonna get out there and
- 34:24Speaker 2: do it first, because whoever do it, I'm a I'm
- 34:29Speaker 2: gonna tall yo. I mean he said.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna roaster.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:36Speaker 7: I thought it was Ai, but then I saw too
- 34:38Speaker 7: many places and then damn, I'm pretty.
- 34:50Speaker 2: He regretsed that. Now, let me ask you something, because
- 34:52Speaker 2: I don't smoke weed. So let me ask you something.
- 34:54Speaker 7: When you do something like that and you smoke weed,
- 34:58Speaker 7: do it affect you to say, ain't well, you don't
- 35:01Speaker 7: know it's happening, dude.
- 35:02Speaker 2: You do something like what so you don't know you
- 35:04Speaker 2: did it? Yeah? Yeah, like you like a whole damn concert. Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 7: Like I'm yeah, I'm smoking weed and I'm performing for
- 35:13Speaker 7: Donald Trump, I'm my own DJ and everything I saw
- 35:17Speaker 7: the clip?
- 35:19Speaker 2: Is you that high where you don't know you?
- 35:21Speaker 4: There?
- 35:25Speaker 3: Are?
- 35:28Speaker 8: You? Are you?
- 35:29Speaker 7: Does weed make you think? Don't nobody see this? I'm
- 35:33Speaker 7: just trying to figure out what is the effects of
- 35:36Speaker 7: weed have because I ain't never been high. So just
- 35:41Speaker 7: anybody out there that has been high. When you smoking
- 35:43Speaker 7: weed and you standing at DJ and your damn self,
- 35:46Speaker 7: which I've never seen Snoop do and singing.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Your song.
- 35:51Speaker 7: Under the influence of weed, do you not see them
- 35:55Speaker 7: white people standing.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Up, stone faced, poker faced.
- 36:01Speaker 4: All of it.
- 36:01Speaker 7: And I am a Snoop fan, dude. I just yeah, Well,
- 36:05Speaker 7: let me ask you this question about we. Does we
- 36:09Speaker 7: make you forget everything you said in two thousand and seventeen?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Yeah, possibly, possibly, that is possible.
- 36:20Speaker 2: That's possible.
- 36:21Speaker 1: You don't even need weed for that.
- 36:23Speaker 10: You can do that.
- 36:24Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I walked in the room and didn't know
- 36:28Speaker 7: why I walked in there and had to go back out.
- 36:30Speaker 2: But I wasn't smoking weed though, because we.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I'm my question.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Today is what do we do.
- 36:44Speaker 7: We're looking for, colle I'm just trying to help Snoop
- 36:46Speaker 7: because I love Snoop Man.
- 36:47Speaker 1: But we love tried love it. Yeah, I'm trying.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Maybe it'ster weed.

- 37:36Speaker 3: based on G two. Try it for free at ZipRecruiter
- 37:40Speaker 3: dot com slash strawberry. That's ZipRecruiter dot com slash strawberry. Well, guys.
- 37:46Speaker 3: A total of eighteen states the attorney general have a
- 37:50Speaker 3: filed federal lawsuits against President Trump after he signed an
- 37:53Speaker 3: executive order to end birthright citizenship. The lawsuit was filed yesterday,
- 37:58Speaker 3: that's Tuesdays Chusetts Federal Court and states that the executive
- 38:03Speaker 3: order violates the fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution,
- 38:07Speaker 3: which guarantees citizenship to all children born on American soil.
- 38:12Speaker 3: The lawsuit seeks to block the order before it can
- 38:15Speaker 3: take effect. Trump has been in office two days and
- 38:18Speaker 3: he's already being sued.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Well do he care?
- 38:22Speaker 8: No?
- 38:23Speaker 2: No, is anything gonna happen to him?
- 38:26Speaker 8: No?
- 38:27Speaker 7: No, Is he gonna do like he wanta do? Yes, yes, okay,
- 38:31Speaker 7: let's move vote. That's who y'all voted for.
- 38:34Speaker 1: He can't pay him this he bruh, bruh.
- 38:41Speaker 2: All those orders he signed for the border man, quit tripping.
- 38:45Speaker 1: He said this.
- 38:47Speaker 2: At least he doing what he said he was gonna.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Don't you.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Bruh?
- 38:56Speaker 2: He he doing what he said he was going to do.
- 39:01Speaker 1: I can say it shout to.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Change nothing, change anything. Yeah, he's there for the next
- 39:10Speaker 3: four years or however long you know, depending on what
- 39:13Speaker 3: he does while in office.
- 39:15Speaker 5: So how much money and effort are you putting up
- 39:18Speaker 5: when you you sue somebody like this?
- 39:20Speaker 2: How much does all that cost?
- 39:22Speaker 1: You mean a state for the state?
- 39:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I wasting much just paperwork all day this man.
- 39:31Speaker 2: So wait, so how can you get nothing?
- 39:35Speaker 6: So my question is, how can the president interpret the Amendment,
- 39:38Speaker 6: the language that's written in the Amendment, the way that
- 39:43Speaker 6: he wants to interpret. Because if it's in the Constitution,
- 39:46Speaker 6: it's in the Amendment that the children that are.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Born here are citizens.
- 39:53Speaker 6: But you're interpreting it to say, but if their parents
- 39:56Speaker 6: were here unlawfully, it didn't.
- 39:58Speaker 5: It doesn't say that the same way changed the body
- 40:01Speaker 5: of water the same way he did that.
- 40:05Speaker 3: To your point, he thinks he can do whatever he
- 40:08Speaker 3: wants to do. When he's gonna do that, that's it.
- 40:12Speaker 7: He he is Donald Trump. How he gonna change the Constitution?
- 40:17Speaker 7: He ain't never read it. He don't even know what's
- 40:21Speaker 7: in there. Y'all keep talking about he changing it. He
- 40:24Speaker 7: ain't read it. He's filling out paperwork based on what
- 40:28Speaker 7: he won't Yeah, what he wants it to birthright.
- 40:32Speaker 2: He don't care about that. Trump, you can't do that.
- 40:35Speaker 1: He said, it's a birthright. It's in the constitution, fourteenth Amendment.
- 40:38Speaker 2: So this is a big one. This is a big one.
- 40:41Speaker 2: This is a big one. Huge. Yeah, this is huge.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I'm signing this one. Fourteenth Amendment should be done, should
- 40:47Speaker 2: have been done with Biden.
- 40:50Speaker 3: So classic, all right, coming up, Oh, this is scary.
- 40:55Speaker 3: The nephew has been thinking again and he had something
- 41:00Speaker 3: on his mind. So we'll find out what those are
- 41:03Speaker 3: right after this. You're listening hard Morning Show. Okay, the
- 41:13Speaker 3: nephew has something on his mind, Tommy, what is it today?

- 41:22Speaker 5: Motown and Deacon Depth Jail.
- 41:23Speaker 2: This is a special report.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Okay, Pastor, I hate to interrupt this and this this
- 41:31Speaker 5: with this, this this special report, and it is a
- 41:34Speaker 5: miss lord lord, lord lord, but here we go past it.
- 41:38Speaker 2: This is this is gonna be a reference.
- 41:40Speaker 4: We got a.
- 41:43Speaker 2: I don't even know how to say it. Anyway.
- 41:47Speaker 5: Elk called the church hotline and he was furious. He
- 41:52Speaker 5: has left up my message. He wants to know who
- 41:55Speaker 5: gave the young man in the green light to use
- 41:58Speaker 5: his speech. He is completely out of line. He said
- 42:03Speaker 5: it was a buffoonery approach, and he said he wants
- 42:06Speaker 5: this man to not be walking on none of his
- 42:09Speaker 5: MLK streets. He don't want to make none of his
- 42:11Speaker 5: MLK high schools. And as a matter of fact, he said,
- 42:15Speaker 5: don't let him anywhere anywhere in the month of February
- 42:19Speaker 5: to be speaking on anybody's behalf. And he said, Reverend
- 42:22Speaker 5: Motown needs to make sure this assignment is carried out
- 42:26Speaker 5: in his namesake.
- 42:29Speaker 7: Well, no doubt about it. It will be structured, en
- 42:35Speaker 7: ruptured in a way. We have already filled out the
- 42:40Speaker 7: peoplewarp paperwork down at the Black Preacher's convention where he
- 42:45Speaker 7: is no longer a black preacher. Just like that, it
- 42:54Speaker 7: has been revoked. You ain't there's nothing of you, not
- 42:57Speaker 7: a black preacher. You're not a preacher in more all black.
- 43:03Speaker 7: You've been kicked out of both groups. You're out the
- 43:07Speaker 7: preacher group and now you're out the black group. You
- 43:13Speaker 7: is right now officially the only people that will accept you.
- 43:17Speaker 7: And we've gone around filled out of petition. We've taken
- 43:22Speaker 7: he's no longer black or a.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Preacher, black card, preacher card.
- 43:28Speaker 7: Okay, he's road manager now for Soldier Boy's Detroit. He's
- 43:49Speaker 7: found Detroit. I don't believe he'll ever be allowed to
- 43:53Speaker 7: go back to Detroit. That ain't the place to go.
- 43:56Speaker 7: And the line just lost to They're not gonna take
- 43:59Speaker 7: too much. The line's lost.
- 44:03Speaker 2: And he spoke, what he that's a bit much.
- 44:09Speaker 5: I didn't know he was from the christ so he said,
- 44:11Speaker 5: it's lectors in the whole nine yards past.
- 44:16Speaker 7: Oh, he can't go there no more. He can't buy
- 44:18Speaker 7: another shoe out of slickers. I can tell you that
- 44:20Speaker 7: right now.
- 44:24Speaker 10: All right now, how do you?
- 44:25Speaker 5: How do you how do we handle him for the
- 44:28Speaker 5: month of February. We definitely don't want him popping up
- 44:30Speaker 5: in that month either.
- 44:31Speaker 7: Path well, in Black History Month, there's special sections or
- 44:39Speaker 7: people who have contributed made contributions.
- 44:44Speaker 5: To our.
- 44:47Speaker 2: History.
- 44:48Speaker 7: Yeah, Cornery, it's one of them that has made us
- 44:54Speaker 7: realize that if those of us.
- 44:57Speaker 2: That don't need to be us no more.
- 45:01Speaker 7: And he has been put into the conery buffoonery, whole category.
- 45:07Speaker 7: He's the whole category right now, Cornery category, All right,

- 45:31Speaker 5: You gotta pick one dance. Now that's about different dance. Conery,
- 45:35Speaker 5: berffoniery stepping and fetch.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Shucking and jiving.
- 45:39Speaker 7: Look at that buffoonery, conery stepping, fetching, shucking and driving.
- 45:48Speaker 7: And the winner is the black dude that was preaching
- 45:54Speaker 7: at the Trump inauguration.

- 56:25Speaker 1: Let us thank you.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Nephew. Subject she's holding a grudge from thirty years ago.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm fifty five years old and I'm divorced.
- 56:36Speaker 3: I have two grown daughters, and I gave guys a
- 56:38Speaker 3: hard time when they tried to date my daughters because
- 56:41Speaker 3: I never wanted anyone to disrespect them. I didn't want
- 56:44Speaker 3: them to ever be treated like I treated a woman.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Back when I was in my twenties, when I was
- 56:49Speaker 3: twenty four, I dated an older woman that was a
- 56:53Speaker 3: manager at a movie theater. She was six years older
- 56:56Speaker 3: than me and she had her own place. She let
- 56:59Speaker 3: me keep her car, and she gave me money to
- 57:01Speaker 3: hang out with my friends. I did not want my
- 57:04Speaker 3: friends to know I was sleeping with her, because they
- 57:07Speaker 3: called her snaggletooth and other nasty names. She had two
- 57:11Speaker 3: teeth missing, and she had bad skins, but her body
- 57:15Speaker 3: was incredible and I loved having sex with her. I
- 57:18Speaker 3: liked her a lot, but I was embarrassed to tell
- 57:21Speaker 3: my friends. So one day I was at her job
- 57:25Speaker 3: hugging her after she gave me some money, and two
- 57:28Speaker 3: of my friends saw it. I acted like she was
- 57:31Speaker 3: trying to get me to hug her. I told him
- 57:33Speaker 3: there was no way I was messing with her, and
- 57:36Speaker 3: I laughed in her face. She put my stuff out
- 57:40Speaker 3: of her apartment and we never spoke again. A couple
- 57:44Speaker 3: of years later, I heard she moved away for years.
- 57:48Speaker 3: I regretted what I did to her, and after thirty years,
- 57:51Speaker 3: I ran into her over the holidays and she was
- 57:54Speaker 3: still not happy to see me. I asked her if
- 57:58Speaker 3: we could sit down and talk face to face. She
- 58:00Speaker 3: said no, but she gave me her phone number. She
- 58:03Speaker 3: has changed so much. She's beautiful, her teeth were perfect
- 58:08Speaker 3: and her skin was glowing. She is not aged. I
- 58:13Speaker 3: want to sincerely apologize and get reacquainted with her, but
- 58:17Speaker 3: she won't answer my text or calls. I want to
- 58:20Speaker 3: make things right.
- 58:21Speaker 1: How do I get through to her?
- 58:24Speaker 3: Well, you don't because guess what it is called revenge.
- 58:29Speaker 3: It's called get back, it's called clapback. It is over
- 58:33Speaker 3: for you.
- 58:33Speaker 1: You will not get her back.
- 58:35Speaker 3: She just wanted to get you at that moment. It's
- 58:38Speaker 3: her turn.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Now.
- 58:39Speaker 3: She's not carrying a grudge, that's not it. She just
- 58:43Speaker 3: hasn't forgotten how you made her feel that day when
- 58:46Speaker 3: you clowned her in front of your two friends. You
- 58:49Speaker 3: told your friends there was no way you were messing
- 58:51Speaker 3: with her, and then you laughed in her face. You
- 58:56Speaker 3: were doing her and taking money from her, but you
- 59:00Speaker 3: laughed in her face. That's her ful, that's embarrassing, that's humiliating.
- 59:04Speaker 3: No one wants to feel that. So this is what
- 59:06Speaker 3: you got from her in return, no response to your
- 59:08Speaker 3: text or calls. Why should you want to ever see
- 59:12Speaker 3: you again? And this is how she's paying you back.
- 59:15Speaker 3: She probably dreamed of this day, or maybe she didn't
- 59:18Speaker 3: dream of it, but the fact that she did get
- 59:20Speaker 3: the chance all these years later to get you back.
- 59:22Speaker 3: She did, and you said she got her two front
- 59:25Speaker 3: teeth fixed. And she's beautiful now too. We all know
- 59:29Speaker 3: the best revenge is looking good, and according to you,
- 59:32Speaker 3: she looks good. You gotta let it go. You gotta
- 59:35Speaker 3: let it go and move on.
- 59:36Speaker 7: Steve.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Oh, it's a good one right here.
- 59:40Speaker 4: Oh.
- 59:41Speaker 2: I like this letter on so many levels.
- 59:43Speaker 7: And I tell you why. I know where he coming from,
- 59:47Speaker 7: and second of all, I know where she coming from. Yes, Lord,
- 59:53Speaker 7: let's go.
- 59:55Speaker 8: Hey.
- 59:55Speaker 2: At first I thought it was a lady writing a letter,
- 59:57Speaker 2: but that quickly went away. He did.
- 59:58Speaker 7: Stephen Sherylan, fifty five years old. I'm divorced. I have
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: two grown daughters. I gave you guys a hard time
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: when they tried to date my daughters, as you should,
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: because I never wanted anyone to respect disrespect them. I
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: didn't want them to be treated like I treated a
- 1:00:14Speaker 7: woman back when I was in my twenties.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: See, that's why fathers are important, because they know the
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: route that other men take, and they can forwarn their
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: daughters about it.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Because men know how they all were at one point
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: in time.
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: Even if you've never been abusive towards women, you do
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: know some of the little sly trickery moves that you
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: use to acquire them, because you have to have some
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: of that in the beginning, else you're not gonna get nobody.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: It's called game.
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: Every man develops it to a certain degree, some away
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: more than others, but everybody has to have some form
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: of it. Back when I was there was twenty is
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: I was twenty four. I dated an older woman. She
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: was a manager at a movie theater. She was six
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: years older than me. She had her own place. Well, you,
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: twenty four, dog, I've been in my own place since
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: I left college. I ain't had no choice. But okay,
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: so I guess that was impressive to you. She had
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: her own place, she let me keep her car, and
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: she gave me money to hang out with my friends.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: I've never had that. I want to take my hat
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: off to your kudos. I ain't never had a sponsor before.
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: I've never had a woman give me money to do
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: a damn thing.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: When I was homeless, I met a girl and I
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: asked her. She saw my gas tank on empty, and
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: she offered to buy me gas. By the way I
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: was raised, I was raised not to accept things from women.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: But I needed that gas in that car. So she
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: put that gas in the car. Hollerwey Loujah for that
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: woman right there. I would have done anything for her.
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: She'd have gassed it up twice. But anyway, that's a
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: whole nother story. And she gave me money to hang
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: out with my friends. I did not want my friends
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: to know I was sleeping with her because they called
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: her snacker, tooth and other nasty names.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: She had two teeth missing, bad skinIn but her body
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: was incredible and I loved having sex with it.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: You have, I just I can't get past teeth well
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: and part two of your response coming up on this show.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Got nice ass teeth. Had that happen job requirement?
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Thank you Steve. Coming up in twenty three minutes after
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter subject she's holding a grudge
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: from thirty years ago. We'll get back into it with
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: Steve's response coming up right after this. It's time to
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: talk about life insurance. It's one of those things that
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: everyone should have, and glow Life makes it easy with
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: no medical exam, just a simple application and coverage options
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: up to one hundred thousand dollars. Get the coverage you
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: need in twenty twenty five. Go online at globelifradio dot
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: com or call one eight hundred two five one fifty

- 1:03:19Speaker 3: or one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: The subject is she's holding a grudge from thirty years ago.
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: All right, fifty five year old divorce man got two daughters.
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: He's always been protective of him because he didn't want
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: women to be treated like he treated a woman. Because
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: one time he was twenty four, he dated this older
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: woman who was thirty, who was a manager. Met they
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: worked at a movie theater together, and she was thirty
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: and she used to give it money to hang out
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: with a friend, let him use a com But the
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: problem with it was he was ashamed of him cause
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: his friends. He didn't want his friends to know he
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: was sleeping with him because they call her snack, a
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: tooth and other ask the name. She had two teeth missing,
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: she had bad skin, but her body was incredible and
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: I loved having sex with her.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: This where we started drawing the line in this letter.
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: Well, I can't relate to this because I'm not gonna
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: be able to get to this incredible body you got,
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: Because if you ain't got no teeth, I don't really
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: give a damn what your skin look like you'm gonna
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: have dove soft skin.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: You have baby ass bottom skin if you want to.
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: But you're gonna need them teeth though, because it's just
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: I'm not gonna be able to talk to you and
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: you ain't got no damn teeth. I don't get the
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: damn if your face is smooth as a baby ass.
- 1:04:35Speaker 7: If you ain't got no damn teeth and you're in
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: a duck, it's hard for me talk to my grandkids
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: when they teeth is missing. I'll be I'll be shutting
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: my eyes when I talk to them sometimes, so you know,
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: good hell well, I'm not.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Gonna be able to talk no grown ass woman.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Two teeth missing, I don't give it damn Where they
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: missing that either they can be the corner teeth missing.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: It be one in the middle of one on the bottom.
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: I don't give a damn if I can see this, Yeah,
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: you now, you can have your wisdom teeth missing, and
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: I'll still kick it with you.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: But you can't have none of them visible, Like when
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: you smile. I can't see through there. I can't see tongue,
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: y'all all that see.
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: I just I ain't gonna be do it anyway, I
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: liked her a lot, but I was embarrassed to tell
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: my friend.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: So one day I was at her job, hugging her
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: after she gave me some money. Two of my friends
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: saw it. I act like she was trying to hug me.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: Get off of me. What you're doing, that's what he did.
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: He act like she was what you hugging me for?
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: I told them there was no way I was messing
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: with her, and I laughed in her face. She put
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: my stuff out her apartment and we never spoke again.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Well, bro, as she should.
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: Yeah, you laughing in her face, but you sleeping with her,
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: telling your friends, trying to act like she was hugging you.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: You was hugging her because she was taking care of you,
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: a little broke ass. Now all of a sudden, she
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: ain't nothing. But once again, I don't even know how
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: it got to that, because she ain't got no teeth.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: You ain't gonna have to You're not gonna be loan
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: me no money because I can't talk to you now
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: out of here. You're gonna loan me money and I
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: can't ask for it. See that's I'm back on the
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: teeth missing with that bad ass skin. I'll give damn
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: the skin. I don't care nothing about no bad ass skin.
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: They got foundation, they can fix all that right there.
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: It's when you ain't got no damn teeth in your head.
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: And so she put my stuff out of her apartment.
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: We never spoke again. A couple of years later I
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: heard she moved away for years. I regretted what I did.
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: After thirty years, I ran into her over the holidays,
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: and she was still not happy to see me.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Bruh.
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: Now, Shirley said she wasn't holding a grudge, she was
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: just remembering. Oh no, it's grudge, though, you believe that
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: full blown. I can't stand you. Bump you miss me,
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: kiss my all that sugar honey iced tea. If you
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: don't miss me, find something else to do.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I hope you die. A whole lot going through her head.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: I asked her if.
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: We could sit and talk face to face now right here, now,
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: listen to me this part of the letter. I don't
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: have all the information yet, but when you said I
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: asked if we could sit and talk face to face.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Now, I'm back thirty years ago.
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: You didn't have no teeth then, which is why we
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: never could have dated because I can't sit with you
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: face to face and you ain't got no teeth in
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: your head. But you asked her to sit down and
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: talk face to face. She said no, but she gave
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: me her phone number. She has changed so much. Oh
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: my god, she's beautiful. Her teeth were perfect and her
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: skin was glowing.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: She has not aged.
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: I want to surely apologize and get real acquainted with her.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: She won't answer my text or casts. I want to
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: make things right. How do I get through to her?
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: You?
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Ain't you out? Dog you out? Because she remember the
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: hurt you put on her. She out she fine? Now, ah,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: she fine. She'd have got the teeth put up in
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: her head, she'd have got that skin fixed.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: Huh.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Why should give him the number though? To tell him?
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: No, ohka, I'm gonna get first of all, Can we
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: sit face to face and talk? No, here's my number, though,
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: call me so I can ignore your damn text. I'm
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: gonna hurt your ass if a chance I got. We're
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: specialized in this, We in the crushing bizz. But see, brother,
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: let me tell you what you did was when you
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: laughed at her in her face. Yeah yeah, and told
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: your friends that was no, and you laughed in her face.
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: Your laughter was her motivation. The whole towns laughing at me. Now, boy,
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: you see as she find you can wipe this off
- 1:09:09Speaker 7: your sleeve. You're not getting back with her. You just
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: want to tap it again, and this time you want
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: to tap the fine girl. Well, the fine girl ain't
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: letting you tap it.

- 1:10:36Speaker 9: make the team, foe me if you make the team
- 1:10:39Speaker 9: by marchin Bok. They don't want him to make it.

- 1:10:53Speaker 2: it man, But they want him out.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:10:55Speaker 9: But also also look at this, does this does this
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: make Lamar Jackson like is it's just gonna be a
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: proble for him to would it be a stain on
- 1:11:02Speaker 9: his legacy.
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: If he don't get he's unhappy right now. I saw
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: the clip where he say, I'm tired of this sugar
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: honey ice teeth. You're dropping passes.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: In the NFL. This is very simple.
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: If you're a receiver, you're paid to receive the ball
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: when it's thrown to you. If you can't receive the
- 1:11:24Speaker 7: pass that has been passed to you, why is we
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: paying your ass?
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: If you can't catch the ball, bro, play defense, but
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: we need you to bro if you cannot catch at all.
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: The one position that doesn't require you to catch it
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: at all is an offensive lineman. Sometimes the defense we
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: need you to catch the ball. But the offensive lineman,
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: we don't need.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Your ass touch this ball today. Lets you diving on
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: a fumble. That's it.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: Well.
- 1:12:00Speaker 9: Also, man, Tommy Man, your boy man up for a
- 1:12:02Speaker 9: head coaching job. Man, you see a g come on
- 1:12:05Speaker 9: interview with the Jets the Saints coming up.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Glenn is the defensive coordinator for Detroit. He's been up.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: He's been up for a couple of years now.
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: My brother come in fact, Steve, he played golf with
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: in Bakers Bamber.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: That dude that hit that long ball yes, sir, Yes, sir.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: That's what you remember.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: That's all you remember. And Glenn yeah, because he was strong.
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: And then also the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator is now
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: the new head coach of the Chicago Bears. He took
- 1:12:45Speaker 9: the job, being Johnson, he took the head coach job. Now,
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: speaking of Chicago, did y'all hear where your boy man?
- 1:12:50Speaker 9: Kayler Williams is kind of jealous about Jade and Daniel's
- 1:12:52Speaker 9: success with the Washing Commanders. He said, you know, if
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: I was drafted in his situation, I'd be in the
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: NFC Championship game too.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: If I had to say you now, you wouldn't.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: No, you wouldn't now you wouldn't you paint your finger
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: nail hat.
- 1:13:08Speaker 4: No, no, man, no.
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: Will nobody in DC won't you over there? You stay
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: your ass right there and take that game. Fanger nail
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: polish hall.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: A lady needs your advice, Steve on how to get
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: her money back from her boyfriend. Thank you, Junior. Right

- 1:13:46Speaker 3: for like the last three years, and she would never
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: really give me the time of day. She was nice
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: to me, but always brushed off my advances and refused
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: multiple invitations to go out. A few months ago, I
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: started dating another woman, and now all of a sudden,
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: my crush is taking an interest in me. She knows
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: that I'm dating someone else, so I don't know if
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: she's just playing with me or if she is genuinely interested.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: My current girlfriend and I are still into getting to
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: know each other phase, so ending it wouldn't be that difficult.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Am I being a fool?
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: Is my crush playing with me?
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: What?
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: He don't?
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: What you're talking about ending it? Folks?
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: Yeah, y'all need to get to know each other phase.
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: Well let's get to know it. Yeah, but let's get
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: to know everybody. See, she's playing around till she sees
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: somebody else, won't you see that all hard to get,
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: hard to get? Okay, come on now, let them see
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: three years so breaking up with her wouldn't be hard
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: to do, don't What is you breaking up with her?
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: Fault?
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: You might have a gold mine with you, but you
- 1:14:57Speaker 7: need to go see about this other window. Yeah, but
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: you're doing that for you? Go date go out with
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: both of them. See where you at? Women do it
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: all the time. I ain't telling you nothing women don't do.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: And they know what.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: So how he approach her?
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: What should he? What should he?
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: Okay, Well, let's go on out. Let's get to know
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: each other. Just take it slow, take it slow.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: You're still dating me other.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: You still in a relationship, You're still dating, you're.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: Doing both hips.
- 1:15:30Speaker 10: Nothing in it for you.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: See how I do my career. I don't cancel show.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Wait a minute, let me You said something here.
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: If she asked him if he's dating the other girl,
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: you said, tell her yeah.
- 1:15:47Speaker 7: He said, she know I'm dating this other woman. Now
- 1:15:51Speaker 7: all of a sudden she interested, Well s you know that,
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: and you interested. Let's gonna go out because me and
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: this girl, he said, is into getting you know each
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: other's day.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: He must really like the girl at work, though, because
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: he's willing to.
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I got I go. See what this is?
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: Okay? All right, Well, hopefully write us back and let
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: us know what happens. Are you gonna be dating too
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: or are you gonna dump her?
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: For real? Of them?
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: Play it?
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: What?
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I believe you? Why you don't know what he's doing,
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: because he wrote in so he already don't know what
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: he's doing.
- 1:16:35Speaker 10: Yeah, he wrote us.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and your first time playing too? You gonna lose?
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, have another one?
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: Okay, there's another one.
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: This one's from Chandra Steve on a Steve Harvey f M.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: Chandra says, I was talking to my parents about their
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: financial situation. They're getting older and have been working less,
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: and we decided that I would buy their house from
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: them and let them live there until they pass or
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: move into assistant living. I make enough to do this,
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: and buying their house would be a good investment. All
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: of my siblings are on board, except for our oldest sister,
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: who thinks I'm trying to take over my parents' lives.
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: I think she's worried because over the years she's moved
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: back into our parents' house twice when she fell on
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: hard times. I told her I wouldn't object to that
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: if that happened, and that only made her even more mad.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: I don't know how to handle this, and I don't
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: want to alienate my sister, but I'm going through with
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: buying the house. Any advice on how to deal with her, no,
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: just go and.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Buy the house.
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: Your sister ain't got the money for the house because
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: she didn't fall in no hard times. They would have
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: told her that if she fall on hard times, you
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: ain't gonna have no problem with her living there. She mad, though,
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: she don't want you to have that power. It's a
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: good investment. Buy the house.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: Take the pressure off your mom and dad. Period.
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: Yeah, but you sound like you're gonna put the ass
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: and assistant living anyway though. That's how you sund to me.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Wow, Wow, all right, we'll have more.
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Until they pass or they go to assistant living, which
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: one you think she's gonna live one of them?
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: Here, get here, I'm.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: Telling you we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morton
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: Show coming up at twenty minutes after right after this,
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: So, guys, I don't know if you've heard, but seniors,
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: seniors are getting it in. They're having more sex. Okay.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: This is according to new research that found a huge
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: spike in the number of sexually transmitted infections over the
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: past ten years. A new study, which will be presented
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: at a medical convention in Spain next month, shows that
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: sti's among people over the age of fifty five have
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: doubled compared to a decade ago. The steady, blameful spike, Yeah, doubled.
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: Blames the spike rising divorce rates, less condom use, the
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: availability of drugs like viagra, UH, and more older adults
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: living together in retirement communities, and also an increased use
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: in dating app So there you have it. STIs rising
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: among the older generation. Yeah, fifty and older.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: You can make all the noises you want today. It
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: ain't changing nothing.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Talk about condom?
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: So why not condom?
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: A man?
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that's the easiest one.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: You already ain't got long left.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: You're gonna sharp that with an STI.

- 1:24:43Speaker 3: day on this Wednesday hump day. It's been a good day.
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: Huh yeah, fun, Oh yeah, as hey.
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: Oh, here's here's my closing remarks. You know, this morning
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: I was talking about.
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: Kind of been in a little bit of a bad
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: place mentally, and it was it took me a minute
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: to come out of it. But you know, I'm human, right,
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: so you know, things happen. You know, as motivational as
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: I try to be, I find myself requiring motivation too,
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: because sometimes I get as a human being, I get
- 1:25:24Speaker 7: caught up in something negative that's going on or a
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: situation that's going on, and I harp too long on
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: the negativity, which only makes it bigger. And so I
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: was saying this morning, and what I'm saying in my
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: closed remarks is it happens to all of us where
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: we run into a situation that seems a big daunting
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: and we start focusing on the situation, and the big
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: situation becomes bigger and bigger and bigger. And what I've
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: discovered is, and what I already know is, but I
- 1:25:53Speaker 7: had to remind myself again yesterday, is that when you
- 1:25:58Speaker 7: are faced with a lot of negative and it seems
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: to be overwhelming, and it's a bit overbearing for you
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: at the time, what you have to do is you
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: have to replace those thoughts. You have to replace the
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: negative with a positive.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: Now is that easy to do?
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Of course not.
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: But it's how it works, and it does not work
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: any other way. But you cannot fix a negative situation
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: with more negativity. You cannot come out of darkness unless
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: you provide light. You know, if you're in a bad mood,
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: a dark place in your mind, do you know? I
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: This is an example I used. If you're in a
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: cave called pitch black room. Let's say you in a
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: pitch black room. All the lights is out, there's no electricity,
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: lights have been cut off, You're in a dark place.
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: You got blinders on, and all of a sudden, you
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: find yourself in a black room, if you find any
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: form of light, that light becomes the focal point.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Any I don't care if you got a birthday candle.
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: If you hold up a birthday candle in a completely
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: dark room, that birthday candle becomes the light. If you
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: can find a flashlight, a pin flashlight, that becomes the
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: focal point in the room. If you can turn on
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: the gas stove and it produces a little bit of
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: light from the flicker of the flame, that becomes the
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: focal point. What I'm saying to you is when you
- 1:27:29Speaker 7: find yourself in a dark place, get yourself some light,
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: and that becomes the focal point. You cannot get rid
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: of a negative situation with more negativity. You can't come
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: out of darkness without light. You can't replace a negative
- 1:27:45Speaker 7: situation unless you introduce a positive.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: Now is that hard to do as human beings?
- 1:27:52Speaker 8: Yet?
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: Yeah, Steve, But it just kept happening.
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: I got it. But it kept happening because you did
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: not use the tools available to you. The Bible says
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: a man is as he thinketh y'all, your mental capacity
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: is really, really incredible.
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: And why is that?
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: Because we were made in the image of God, and
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: God showed us in the beginning how he really is.
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: You know, if you read your Bible, somewhere in the
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: Bible it says, and you know, I'm not an expert
- 1:28:32Speaker 7: at this right, but I'm just using these examples as
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: I see.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: It in the Bible.
- 1:28:38Speaker 7: When God created heaven and earth in the beginning, he said,
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: let there be light. Now, that's very telling because he's
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: said let there be light. He didn't just wave his
- 1:28:51Speaker 7: hand and it lit up. He said, let there be light,
- 1:28:59Speaker 7: and then that was light, but it became light after
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: he said it. And if we're created in the image
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: of God, he's showing us through demonstration, let there be light.
- 1:29:13Speaker 7: When the crippled man found him, he said, stand up
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: and walk. And the crippled man stood up and walked.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: He said.
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: He told Moses to stick that staff over and part
- 1:29:30Speaker 7: the red sea.
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: He told him what to do. He didn't hope he
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: figured it out. He said it.
- 1:29:40Speaker 7: Look, y'all, if we're created in the image of God,
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: what we say is important. It really is important. Stop
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: beating yourself up with negativity. Change the way you think,
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: change what you say, watch the words that come out
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: your mouth.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: It's critical. Man, It's absolutely critical.
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: If you look at a person, and all of us
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: know people who are not in a good space and
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: haven't been in a good space for a number of years.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: All of us know people like that. But if you
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: really look at them, and you look how they think
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: and how they talk, don't explain at all. You ever
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: met a person that ain't ever happy? They always something,
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: always wrong. You hate to see them coming when you
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: listen to them, don't it explain why they are what
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: they are. You've ever seen a person ain't ain't ever
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: in a relationship? Have you ever listened the way they talk?
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: Don't it explain if you listen carefully why they are
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: the way they are. Be careful, y'all, watch what comes
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: out your mouth. Concentrate on what comes out your mouth.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: Focus on the words you speak, because what you speak
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: will be what you are. You are the greatest remote
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: control in the world. Whatever you press select, that's what
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: appears on your screen in front of you. Put that
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: in your thought process this year. Have a great twenty
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: twenty five. As Steve Harvey morning, Sure y'all have a
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: good one. Talk to God today, y'all. Ned absolutely love
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: to hear from your peace
