- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay
- 2:13Speaker 8: it is today, gotta go room for you today. Here's
- 2:17Speaker 8: the information that came to me today. When God created you.
- 2:23Speaker 8: God created you as a work of art, because like
- 2:29Speaker 8: I said, we are all a piece of Him. He
- 2:32Speaker 8: created all of us as in his own image. So
- 2:35Speaker 8: all of us are this very unique. Each person is
- 2:39Speaker 8: very very unique, down to a very fine details. No
- 2:44Speaker 8: one is the exact same. Now, you meet a lot
- 2:46Speaker 8: of people that's very similar to you. You're running into
- 2:48Speaker 8: people who have a bunch of likes that you like,
- 2:51Speaker 8: shared dislikes. You know, you got a lot in common
- 2:53Speaker 8: with people. But nobody is exactly like you. And the
- 2:57Speaker 8: reason you know that is because of fingerprints. How is
- 3:00Speaker 8: it that this God is so imaginative, he's so dead
- 3:07Speaker 8: on that no two fingerprints are alike. How in all
- 3:12Speaker 8: the FBI criminal everybody in the database, no two fingerprints
- 3:17Speaker 8: are alike.
- 3:18Speaker 1: That's how unique God made you.
- 3:20Speaker 8: That's a powerful thing to come to the realization of
- 3:23Speaker 8: that you, in some very small way, are so different
- 3:26Speaker 8: from everyone else. That's how special God is. But that's
- 3:31Speaker 8: how special he made you. So you are this creation.
- 3:34Speaker 8: You are this work of art. God said in his
- 3:39Speaker 8: word that he created us, and he came to us
- 3:43Speaker 8: so that we could have a life and have it
- 3:46Speaker 8: more abundantly. Now okay, now let's just start right there.
- 3:52Speaker 8: You are created in God's image. You are very unique.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Proof your fingerprint is like no one else is living. Amazing.
- 4:00Speaker 8: He'd have done over six and a half billion people
- 4:02Speaker 8: and ain't duplicated the same fing of prayer.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Ah man, come on, now, okay, So now.
- 4:08Speaker 8: He's created you to be something with this gift he's
- 4:13Speaker 8: given you that he can expose to the world, that
- 4:16Speaker 8: he can show off to your circle of friend that
- 4:18Speaker 8: whatever your world is, however big it is, and it
- 4:20Speaker 8: doesn't matter about you becoming famous in your world He
- 4:23Speaker 8: wanted to be able to show you off, to floss you,
- 4:27Speaker 8: to show the peace of you that has Him in it.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Okay, that's what you were created for.
- 4:34Speaker 8: Now, since God wants you to have a life of abundance,
- 4:38Speaker 8: that means everybody. Here's the news that God has blessings
- 4:43Speaker 8: designed specifically for you, and the moment you were created,
- 4:48Speaker 8: he started sending them your way.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Here is the good news. Here, that's the good news.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Here is the news.
- 4:55Speaker 8: We gotta be aware of you. I are the only
- 5:01Speaker 8: ones that can turn back the blessings.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Drum rope. Oh newsflash.
- 5:12Speaker 8: The moment we were created in his special way for us,
- 5:16Speaker 8: God started shipping the blessings that would allow us to
- 5:20Speaker 8: have this life of abundance that He wants for us,
- 5:23Speaker 8: that would have us to be able to accumulate and
- 5:25Speaker 8: acquire and develop the gifts and talents that He's bestowed
- 5:29Speaker 8: upon us to show off in the world that we
- 5:31Speaker 8: are created to be in.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He sent them on the way.
- 5:35Speaker 8: Oh newsflash, you I, we are the only ones that
- 5:40Speaker 8: can turn back the blessings. Steve, what you're talking about
- 5:43Speaker 8: bout that because of our attitude, we directly affect our altitude,
- 5:53Speaker 8: so our attitude, y'all determines how high we go.
- 5:57Speaker 1: You got a bad attitude.
- 5:59Speaker 8: You've got low self esteem, you have low aspirations, you
- 6:04Speaker 8: have low tolerance for people.
- 6:07Speaker 1: You have a low relationship with your creator. You have
- 6:12Speaker 1: low time on the meter of prayer. You have low will.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Guess what low altitude? You are the only one that
- 6:22Speaker 8: can turn back your blessings. Now the way to get
- 6:26Speaker 8: your blessings sent and you stop blocking them and turning
- 6:30Speaker 8: them back.
- 6:31Speaker 1: You have to change your mind. You have to get
- 6:34Speaker 1: into receivership mode. You have to be ready and willing.
- 6:39Speaker 8: To do just a couple of things to get the
- 6:42Speaker 8: blessings sense your way. First of all, go to God,
- 6:46Speaker 8: who is your creator? Who made the fingerprint that you have? Man,
- 6:52Speaker 8: I can't even get past on what I just tripped
- 6:54Speaker 8: on right here. He has made you so specific, No
- 6:57Speaker 8: two fingerprints arelike out of six and a half billion
- 7:01Speaker 8: people that He's created, ain't no two fingerprints alike. You
- 7:05Speaker 8: can't tell me God didn't create you to make you special.
- 7:11Speaker 8: With that in mind, with your uniqueness, talk to the God,
- 7:16Speaker 8: you serve the creator and find out what he created
- 7:19Speaker 8: you for. It's a very simple prayer. It's God, I
- 7:24Speaker 8: know that I'm made by you. I've been struggling with
- 7:27Speaker 8: the who I am and the what I am. I
- 7:29Speaker 8: do not really know what my mission is. I have
- 7:32Speaker 8: not figured it out. Can you help me figure that
- 7:35Speaker 8: out today? And He will start sending the answers. But
- 7:38Speaker 8: let me give you a couple of jump starters. First
- 7:41Speaker 8: of all, identify your gift, Steve, what gift? The gift
- 7:46Speaker 8: that God gave everybody when he created us with these fingerprints. See,
- 7:50Speaker 8: he not only gave you your own fingerprint, he gave
- 7:53Speaker 8: you your own fingerprint because that's the imprint you will
- 7:56Speaker 8: put on the world that we live in today. Yours
- 7:59Speaker 8: is uniquely yours, because that fingerprint is the imprint that
- 8:02Speaker 8: you will put on the world when you're gone. So now,
- 8:07Speaker 8: there's got to be something great in you, and you
- 8:09Speaker 8: know it. That's why you keep asking the question, what
- 8:12Speaker 8: is it? It's got to be more to life than this.
- 8:14Speaker 8: I can't tell you how many times I asked my
- 8:16Speaker 8: God that. But let me tell you what I found out.
- 8:18Speaker 8: If you identify your gift, you start the process. Steve,
- 8:21Speaker 8: what gift you keep talking about? I keep talking about
- 8:24Speaker 8: that gift that God gave you because God, just like
- 8:27Speaker 8: he gave you them fingerprints. He never ever created a
- 8:30Speaker 8: soul that he didn't give a gift or talent to
- 8:32Speaker 8: the gift and the talent is the same thing. The
- 8:35Speaker 8: gift and the talent is the same thing. What is
- 8:38Speaker 8: that simple? It is the thing that you do the
- 8:43Speaker 8: absolute best with the least amount of effort. See now
- 8:47Speaker 8: we go back to one of them principles. That's the
- 8:49Speaker 8: same Steve, you done said that a thousand times on
- 8:51Speaker 8: the radio. I'm trying to get another way to get
- 8:52Speaker 8: you to understand that. But it's your gift, your God giving. Now,
- 8:56Speaker 8: your gift and talent may be very similar to someone
- 8:59Speaker 8: else elses, but your fingerprint that you're gonna leave with
- 9:04Speaker 8: it your journey through life is gonna be totally different.
- 9:07Speaker 8: Beyonce's gift God of the worst she is. You may
- 9:10Speaker 8: be able to sing out saying Beyonce or sing just
- 9:13Speaker 8: as good as Beyonce, But guess what, that ain't your
- 9:16Speaker 8: finger print. You ain't meant to be her. Maybe your
- 9:19Speaker 8: singing gonna go somewhere else, But you first got to
- 9:22Speaker 8: identify the talent. And the talent is always not in entertaining.
- 9:26Speaker 8: In sports, the majority and the greatest talents have nothing
- 9:30Speaker 8: to do with entertainment of sports.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 9:33Speaker 8: What is it that you do better than anything else
- 9:36Speaker 8: that you do without any effort? Do you counsel?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Do you teach? Do you draw?
- 9:41Speaker 8: Do you design? Do you worship? Do you Are you
- 9:46Speaker 8: a nurturer or you have nursing skills? Whatever that is,
- 9:49Speaker 8: Go find that first. That's the starting point. Thank God
- 9:54Speaker 8: for that right there, and the rest will start to
- 9:56Speaker 8: come and to you.
- 9:57Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning chef.
- 10:00Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen. You know what another day is? Here
- 10:02Speaker 8: another you know you don't remember that? You say, another day,
- 10:06Speaker 8: another dollar? Ye, well it ain't really that serious no
- 10:11Speaker 8: more with me. I hope to make some more money,
- 10:13Speaker 8: but hey, I would rather be alive. And well how
- 10:16Speaker 8: about that I trade that in for some money any day?
- 10:19Speaker 8: You could believe that all of us share something in common.
- 10:23Speaker 8: Ain't you glad you here today?
- 10:25Speaker 1: Yes? Lord, thank him for that. Thank You for whatever
- 10:28Speaker 1: measure of health you have.
- 10:29Speaker 8: You may have some stuff going on, but God can
- 10:32Speaker 8: help you with it all that's available to you through
- 10:35Speaker 8: the weapon of prayer.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Don't you ever give up on prayer?
- 10:38Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:38Speaker 8: Prayer changes things don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed
- 10:43Speaker 8: to pray, and don't ever be too proud to pray,
- 10:46Speaker 8: because prayer change his things. Please understand it does. I'm
- 10:50Speaker 8: in the middle of it now. Steve Harving Morning Show,

- 29:09Speaker 9: We didn't want to be in traffic. None of that
- 29:12Speaker 9: was a girl line.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Damn. Will y'all know where that woman was going go
- 29:16Speaker 1: to work? Y'all know that.
- 29:17Speaker 9: Yeah, but it hurts when it's you, Yeah, it does
- 29:23Speaker 9: for sure. Last one, Steve, last one Odetta and Algiers
- 29:30Speaker 9: Odetta and Algiers Odetta says, I did a crab boil
- 29:33Speaker 9: for my cousin's birthday, and he made a comment about
- 29:36Speaker 9: there not being any eggs in the pot. I had
- 29:39Speaker 9: already purchased an expensive shrimp and crab for him. So
- 29:43Speaker 9: is it rude for him to mention eggs? Was I
- 29:45Speaker 9: wrong for cursing him out?
- 29:50Speaker 1: You know that's your eggs. A lot of problems and
- 29:53Speaker 1: families right now, eggs.
- 29:57Speaker 9: Head, they're breaking up families now.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 30:01Speaker 8: So I don't think an egg is all that important
- 30:03Speaker 8: to the damn crab all myself. But you know, you've
- 30:07Speaker 8: got to have that sausage, and I want him in
- 30:09Speaker 8: there for damn show.
- 30:11Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour. We'll have
- 30:13Speaker 9: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 30:18Speaker 9: Hardy Morning Show. Well, Tommy, your girlfriend. Halle Berry was
- 30:23Speaker 9: a guest on The Drew Barrymore Show, and she addressed
- 30:26Speaker 9: the rumors about her not being able to keep a man.
- 30:30Speaker 9: Hallie jokingly said, it's hard in these streets. I've heard
- 30:35Speaker 9: people say something must be wrong with Halle Berry, she
- 30:37Speaker 9: can't keep a man. I don't want to keep the
- 30:40Speaker 9: wrong man, Like I'm not crazy, right. The audience reacted
- 30:44Speaker 9: with applause in agreement with halle Hallie said she found
- 30:48Speaker 9: her guy later in life and of course she's referring
- 30:52Speaker 9: to a current man, not you, Tommy, but musician Van.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Huh. Yeah, I'll play with that. We will find each
- 31:03Speaker 1: other during our time.
- 31:07Speaker 9: Anyway. So yeah, she said she just doesn't want to
- 31:10Speaker 9: keep the wrong man, all right, and she's not crazy. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 9: speak your truth aally. Moving on to this shocking news,
- 31:18Speaker 9: reality star Karen Huger, who is affectionately known as the
- 31:22Speaker 9: Grand Dame on the Real Housewives of the Potomac, has
- 31:25Speaker 9: been sentenced to two years in jail for a EUI
- 31:29Speaker 9: arrest that happened earlier last year. The judge suspended one
- 31:33Speaker 9: year of Huger's sentence, so she will only spend one
- 31:37Speaker 9: year in jail and face five years probation. Yeah, I
- 31:41Speaker 9: want to release. Well, she could have spent two, yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 9: but she got one. This was for her fourth now
- 31:46Speaker 9: her fourth DUI. I didn't know that her fourth DUI.
- 31:50Speaker 9: So the judge chose not to be lenient when sentencing her. Huger,
- 31:54Speaker 9: who is sixty one years older as she says triple twenty,
- 31:59Speaker 9: was taken in custody after her sentence was read to her.
- 32:02Speaker 8: But you know what, Look, when you get four du
- 32:07Speaker 8: that's that's that's that's the four times they caught you, right,
- 32:12Speaker 8: do you know the odds of being caught four times?
- 32:16Speaker 8: So that means you know how many times you were
- 32:18Speaker 8: driving drunk and there just was no police in the
- 32:21Speaker 8: area to make the observation. And that's why it gets
- 32:24Speaker 8: more severe after your second one. If you get one,
- 32:27Speaker 8: they can they can live with that. But you come
- 32:29Speaker 8: in there again. Now they going wait a minute, okay,
- 32:31Speaker 8: but they but they catch you. The chances of getting caught,
- 32:36Speaker 8: You've got to be drunk a lot of times to
- 32:39Speaker 8: get caught full times.
- 32:42Speaker 9: And then you you know the possibility of you hurting
- 32:45Speaker 9: someone else. That's what it is. Yeah, that's yeah. So yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 9: that's why that's the problem.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you driving under the influence gets you a right share.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Don't have to get behind the wheel to understand that.
- 33:03Speaker 7: I yes.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:05Speaker 9: A lot of people though, disagree. They think her sentencing
- 33:08Speaker 9: was a bit harsh. A lot of people think it
- 33:10Speaker 9: was harsh.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, man, bro come on, knocked off four times?
- 33:13Speaker 8: Do you I now, if this woman hurts someone you love,
- 33:20Speaker 8: you won't think that it happens all.
- 33:22Speaker 9: The time, all the time, all the time, You're right.
- 33:26Speaker 8: Yeah, some innocent person, man, it's hurt because some person
- 33:29Speaker 8: jazz wants to do what they want to do, right,
- 33:32Speaker 8: and it's four times. Man, you've had the warning shots.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Now come on.
- 33:36Speaker 9: Yes, I was shocked initially when I heard the news shot,
- 33:40Speaker 9: but I had no idea it was four. I had
- 33:42Speaker 9: no idea it was four. Then I understood the one
- 33:44Speaker 9: year sentence. I understood.
- 33:46Speaker 4: I mean Shirley and Monica they told me this morning,
- 33:48Speaker 4: we can't forgot.
- 33:49Speaker 1: I had to guess what.
- 33:50Speaker 9: Yeah, she's being right now, right right now. They took
- 33:54Speaker 9: her immediately, Yerio start serving her sentence.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 9: Well, moving on, the undefeated boxing champ Floyd Money Mayweather
- 34:04Speaker 9: just dropped a whopping four hundred and two million dollars
- 34:07Speaker 9: on New York real estate. His investment includes sixty two
- 34:10Speaker 9: apartment buildings. That's over one thousand apartments across Manhattan, Harlem,
- 34:15Speaker 9: Washington Heights, and Inwood. Mayweather is stepping up to create
- 34:18Speaker 9: affordable housing for families. That's great news, and he's giving
- 34:22Speaker 9: back with his millions. So congratulations to Floyd Mayweather and
- 34:27Speaker 9: hopefully he will do just that. Four hundred and two
- 34:29Speaker 9: million dollars.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of rip money, I know, but he's.
- 34:34Speaker 9: A real estate.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Are you saying, are you saying he did this all
- 34:38Speaker 1: at once?
- 34:40Speaker 9: He just did this Yeah, yep, just now, just recently,
- 34:43Speaker 9: I should say, four hundred and two million New York
- 34:46Speaker 9: real estate.
- 34:48Speaker 10: Yeah, a lot of.
- 34:51Speaker 9: Over a thousand apartments in Manhattan, Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood.
- 34:56Speaker 9: That's big. Yeah, congratulations. So yeah, he's giving back with
- 35:01Speaker 9: his millions, trying to create affordable housing. There you go,

- 47:53Speaker 7: Uh? Usually any things like this usually get handled with
- 47:56Speaker 7: the church, you know, one of my deacons or my secretary.
- 47:59Speaker 7: But uh uh did you call the church and they
- 48:03Speaker 7: gave you my number? This this guy at the church,

- 49:10Speaker 7: I'm not sure if I think you know we need
- 49:12Speaker 7: to stop this madness right now, because you're talking about
- 49:15Speaker 7: you want money back baptized. I'm more likely with baptized
- 49:19Speaker 7: your kids. I've been at this church for many years,
- 49:22Speaker 7: so I won't doubt that I'm probably the past that
- 49:25Speaker 7: you're looking for. But I just don't understand what you're
- 49:29Speaker 7: trying to get at here about the baptism that I'm
- 49:32Speaker 7: saying you're supposed to when people get baptized, he's supposed
- 49:36Speaker 7: to change them. Cleansing. Okay, I see, yes, clean them,
- 49:41Speaker 7: but my kids, let me let me ask you. I'm
- 49:45Speaker 7: just trying to brother, I'm just trying to get to
- 49:47Speaker 7: the bottom of this. You know what I mean, because,
- 49:48Speaker 7: like I said, when we get understand how you got
- 49:53Speaker 7: my numbers, the bottom of it is your your baptizing
- 49:57Speaker 7: ain't doing nothing.
- 49:59Speaker 11: My kids will de graves bad. They still this over yo, yo.
- 50:03Speaker 7: That why they haven't come to church. You said you're
- 50:06Speaker 7: not going to any congregation. Maybe you guys need to
- 50:08Speaker 7: come on back to church, sit in or some sermons.
- 50:11Speaker 11: You know.
- 50:11Speaker 7: I even work with your one on one, but I can't.

- 50:19Speaker 7: and and and and overalls.
- 50:21Speaker 11: When you when you have baptized, damn, I should see
- 50:24Speaker 11: a change in them. And I don't see a change.
- 50:27Speaker 11: But all the time I was going to your church,
- 50:30Speaker 11: I'm paying for these ties. Well then I'm not getting
- 50:32Speaker 11: any hey man, at the end of the day, path here,
- 50:35Speaker 11: I want my money back.
- 50:36Speaker 7: That's what That's what we have not that, Brother David.
- 50:40Speaker 7: That's not how it worked. Brother. You understand, I'm not
- 50:43Speaker 7: I'm not trying to raise my voice at you, but you,
- 50:45Speaker 7: you all over, you all over you want money back.
- 50:48Speaker 12: I understand.
- 50:49Speaker 7: What can I do for you?
- 50:50Speaker 11: I can tell you now, oh you what you can
- 50:51Speaker 11: do my kids. I don't got them baptized over there
- 50:54Speaker 11: with you all that time I was going to your church.
- 50:57Speaker 11: I'm paying a time, paying time, paying ane time, and
- 51:00Speaker 11: I get my kids baptized.
- 51:02Speaker 7: And the hide is gonna have nothing to do with
- 51:04Speaker 7: the baptism. That has something to do with all this
- 51:07Speaker 7: time I spent over there, and I'm not waking anything
- 51:11Speaker 7: in return of it.
- 51:12Speaker 11: That's what you problem all in the world.

- 51:36Speaker 12: I can't cut your out.
- 51:38Speaker 7: You understand that. Brother. If it's something you need to
- 51:40Speaker 7: deal with, you need to talk to people at the truth.
- 51:42Speaker 11: Why if I need to talk to brother dog when
- 51:44Speaker 11: I'm talking to that, I do not need to the

- 56:13Speaker 1: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on time.
- 56:15Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:17Speaker 9: Thank you nephew. Subject. If he can do it, I
- 56:20Speaker 9: can too. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married to my
- 56:23Speaker 9: husband for six years now. Recently I found out that
- 56:26Speaker 9: he was cheating on me. He had nude photos of
- 56:28Speaker 9: his side chick on his phone, and I saw all
- 56:31Speaker 9: their text messages and even listen to all of his
- 56:33Speaker 9: voicemail messages. He got really mean and defensive when he
- 56:37Speaker 9: got exposed. He even told me that she was better
- 56:40Speaker 9: in bed than I am. And I am the reason
- 56:42Speaker 9: that he cheated. I let him have this woman on
- 56:45Speaker 9: the side, and I go on about my business because
- 56:47Speaker 9: I'm not leaving this house that I just fixed up.
- 56:50Speaker 9: What's bad is that a side chick is married too,
- 56:53Speaker 9: so I could blow up her marriage if I was
- 56:56Speaker 9: an evil person. I keep my emotions in check by
- 56:59Speaker 9: make love you ready for this one? By making love
- 57:04Speaker 9: to my stepson. My husband's son turned twenty two in December,
- 57:09Speaker 9: Yes okay, and I went to drop his birthday presents
- 57:13Speaker 9: off at his apartment and he came to the door
- 57:15Speaker 9: in his boxers. It's like he knew what was up.
- 57:19Speaker 9: He said, he knows his dad is trash, and he
- 57:21Speaker 9: wants to show me that all men aren't dogs. I
- 57:24Speaker 9: told him he is not a man at all because
- 57:27Speaker 9: he's barely legal. He said he could show me better
- 57:30Speaker 9: than he could tell me, so I told him, let's
- 57:33Speaker 9: do this. That young man has changed my whole outlook
- 57:37Speaker 9: on sex because of what he does for me. I'm
- 57:40Speaker 9: able to coexist in my loveless marriage in a way.
- 57:44Speaker 9: I want my husband to know that two can play
- 57:47Speaker 9: that game. But it's his son, so that's tricky. My
- 57:50Speaker 9: stepson is catching feelings. So I told him we need
- 57:54Speaker 9: to go slowly because I'm not leaving his dad.
- 57:59Speaker 7: Now.
- 57:59Speaker 9: I've got the feeling some kind of way about us.
- 58:02Speaker 9: In quotations, he wants more, and I can't give him that.
- 58:07Speaker 9: I turned thirty in January, and I feel like society
- 58:10Speaker 9: looks down on women that date younger men. What should
- 58:13Speaker 9: I do?
- 58:15Speaker 7: What?
- 58:17Speaker 9: So this is what we're doing now for the getback,
- 58:19Speaker 9: we're sleeping with our husband's sons. I mean, I understand
- 58:23Speaker 9: your hurt, but fooling around with his son is definitely
- 58:27Speaker 9: not the answer. It's too close to home, and you know,
- 58:30Speaker 9: this could blow up the family. This could break up
- 58:33Speaker 9: the entire family. I'm surprised that the son was so
- 58:36Speaker 9: bold as to come onto you like that. But you
- 58:41Speaker 9: guys are not that far apart in age, and he
- 58:43Speaker 9: obviously doesn't like or respect his father. He said his
- 58:46Speaker 9: father was trash. But have you thought this out? You
- 58:51Speaker 9: know there's a double standard in life with women and men.
- 58:54Speaker 9: You also know that two wrongs do not make a right.
- 58:57Speaker 9: I understand your hurt. Yes, he said some awful things
- 58:59Speaker 9: to you, some very mean things to you, and at
- 59:01Speaker 9: that time you had no defense. Now you do. I
- 59:05Speaker 9: just think that there are a lot of men in
- 59:07Speaker 9: the world. Why didn't you Why you got to date
- 59:10Speaker 9: his twenty two year old son, Why you got to
- 59:12Speaker 9: sleep with him? Could it be that you've been feeling
- 59:15Speaker 9: some kind of way about his son? Anyway, Now you
- 59:20Speaker 9: guys are in this full fledged relationship, and now the
- 59:23Speaker 9: sun is catching feelings. And once more you say, but
- 59:26Speaker 9: you don't want to leave your husband or your home
- 59:28Speaker 9: because you just fixed that up. The son is going
- 59:30Speaker 9: to let it out. You do know that he's gonna
- 59:33Speaker 9: want to flex on his dad. So get ready to
- 59:36Speaker 9: leave because when your husband finds out, no matter what
- 59:39Speaker 9: he's done, he won't forgive you. Men don't usually do that.
- 59:43Speaker 8: Steve, if he can do it, I can't. Okay, Well,
- 59:51Speaker 8: that can be your that's obviously attitude, and that's what
- 59:54Speaker 8: you decided to do. He is how I started. They've
- 59:58Speaker 8: been married six teen years. I mean they've been with you.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: He's been her husband for six years. So that means
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: when you married this man, this boy that you with now,
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: this young dude you with now, was sixteen. I'm just
- 1:00:12Speaker 8: throwing out some numbers here. Now I'm thinking, since this
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: lady's thirty and her son in law, her stepson, is
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: twenty two, I'm assuming that the father could have had
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: the boy when he was eighteen or twenty.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: So if I'm doing some numbers here, the dad right now.
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: If he had the boy, if he got a girl
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: pregnant when he was eighteen, the dad right now is forty.
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: If he got a girl pregnant when he was twenty,
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: the dad right now would be forty two. So I'm
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: just trying to get a little perspective of the numbers
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: we're talking about here. So the boy was, he's twenty two.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: Now his dad is either forty or twenty two. He
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: could be older, but I know he's somewhere in there.
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: So now you got this man that's forty forty two
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: years old and got this house y'all live in, and
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: he was going through his phone and he found out
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: that he's cheated, and you know, you saw text messages, photos,
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: nude pictures, voice messages, and he got mean and defensive
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: when you exposed him.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: He even told me she was better in bed than
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I am. And I'm the reason he cheated.
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: So now he gonna try the ultimate gangs to move
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: on you by trying to embarrass you, humiliate you, and
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: make you the villain.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: You the reason. Okay, Then you said I.
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: Let him have his woman on the side, and I
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: went on by a bit because I'm not leaving this
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: house that I just fixed up. Okay, So now that
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: statement there lets me know that this house was probably
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: in his name, which is one of the one of
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: the detracting reasons you.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Went with this guy in the first place. He had something.
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: Now you done went in there and fixed it up,
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: and you not leaving the house you just fixed up
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: because you don't have no rights to claim the house
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: as yours. Most women who get cheated on by their
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: husband will put the man out. Don't you come in
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: here and come in his bed?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: No more? But the paperwork ain't right yet.
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: I just wanted to throw that out to you off
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: before I come back and tell you what happened when
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: she took the boy's birthday gift over there and he
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: came to the door in his drawls.
- 1:02:31Speaker 9: Okay, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of your
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: Today's Strawberry Letters subject is if he can do it,
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: I can too. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: Did you know you can now buy a Hondai on Amazon,
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: the same place where you order yoga mats, a toothbrush,
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: and pretty much everything else, all from the comfort of
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: your home, just located nearby dealer.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Pick your color, your.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Options, check the price, and with a few dotting up
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: some eyes and crosses some teas, Jaila, your Hondai is
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: ready for pick up.

- 1:03:15Speaker 10: pick up through participating Hondai dealers and select markets.
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: The subject if he can do it, I can too.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Well, you know what I was going over this letter?
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: This woman who's married to this guy that's a little
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: bit older than her because he has a twenty two
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: year old son that just had a birthday. They've been
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: married six years, which means the son in law in
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: this letter, I mean the step son in this letter
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: was sixteen when she married. The man probably knew him
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: a year or two before that before they got married.
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: So been around it will the board and grove up
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: now and she was going through her husband's phone, found
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: out he's cheating on and found some new pictures, text messages,
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: voicemails and all that confirmed the guy.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: The guy turns around and says, this is your fault.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: She is better in bed than you, and you the
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: reason I cheated anyway, So now he gonna just throw
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: a double canandra on you, make you think you the
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: reason for it, and shame you like you ain't good enough.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: So then but you said you're gonna let him go
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: on to have his little side chick, and you went
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: on about your business because you're not leaving this house
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: that you then fixed up. Obviously your paperwork ain't on it,
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: so y'all you did was decorate the house.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: So anyway, and you.
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: Say in the letter, I keep my emotions in check
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: by making love to my step son.
- 1:04:37Speaker 9: Wow wow, wow wow.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Now just threw that out in the middle of the
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: damn letter. And then this is the story.
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: My husband's son turned twenty two in December and I
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: went to drop by his birthday presence off at his
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: apartment and he came to the door in his boxes.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: It's like he knew what was up. Lady. First of all,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: this a twenty two year old young man.
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: Why you got to bring his birthday gifts over to
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: his apartment to drop them off?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: You don't think that little boy's ears went back, Oh,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: she want to come over here and drop off the kims.
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: And well, you know easily. Hey, next time you overhear
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: your dad's we have some gifts for you. Now I'm
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: gonna bring them over to your apartment. Young Buck came
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: up in their draws on just draws. He said, he
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: knows his dad's trash and he wants to show me
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: that all men ain't dogs. I told him he's not
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: a man at all because he's badly legal. He said
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: he can show me better than you. Ten we're gonna
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: call his nickname is gonna be Jack Rabbit. Jack Rabbit
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: went up in here because yeah, because at twenty two,
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: let me tell you something, it ain't that they can last.
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: It's just they can just keep coming back over and over.
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: They the energize a bunny. That's why we're gonna call
- 1:06:06Speaker 8: it jack rabbit. So now he doesn't change your whole
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: view of sex now and now because of what he
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: does for me, she says, I'm able to coexist in
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: my loveless marriage in a way. I want my husband
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: to know that two can play this game. What but
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: it's his son, So that's tricky. It's way past tricky
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: now this way. Now, first of all, you tricky, your
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: husband tricky, and the son tricky. So three tricky ass
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: people is in here tricking each other. That's all tricky, tricky, tricky,
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: tricky tricky. So now my step son is catching feelings,
- 1:06:52Speaker 8: which means.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: You'd have been over there over and over and over.
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: And I told him we need to go slowly because
- 1:06:58Speaker 8: I'm not leaving his dad, because first of all, you're
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: not moving out this big ass house to go over
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: there in that little lass apartment with that refrigerator, in
- 1:07:06Speaker 8: that flat screen TV. Now, he don't put together full ikia.
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: Now see, he don't put together full ike.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what it is.
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: He don't put together full IKEA desk, chairs and a
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: road and that's his sofa.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Uh and he done took a blanket and covered that.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: You're not finna go over there with there.
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: Now, I got his son feeling some kind of way
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: of us, and he wants more, and I can't give
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: him that. I turned thirty in January, and I feel
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: like society looks down on women to day.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Younger man, what should I do? Lady? What should you do?
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: Well?
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: I don't care what you do. You do know this
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: is gonna blow up in everybody's face.
- 1:07:46Speaker 8: Yeah, your husband is a Cheatah, your husband, and then
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: he's manipulative. So now he trying to make you think
- 1:07:54Speaker 8: it's your fault. Yo, get back. Look, I understand to
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: get back. Moved two can play that game. But of
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: all the men out here, the man's son. But then
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: his son and his dad ain't got no kind of
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: relationship because them trifling.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Everybody in this letter trifling. There is no good.
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: Person in this letter, including you, And now we can't
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: give you no good advice because there's no good can
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: come of anything you've told it. Boy, you're gonna keep
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: coming over there knocking his brains back.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: In his head.
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: But you're not leaving his daddy because you fixed up
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: at the house. All y'all got a real low set
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: of standards.
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: Yeah, but can't help you. Her is that she feels
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: like society looks down on women who date younger men.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: That issue, that's what your problem is.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: You're in a bad marriage and you chose to make
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: it worse by sleeping with the man's son. You could
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: have went to work and picked any one of them
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: guys and they'd have volunteered to help you out.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: Yeah, this is a series of bad choices, bad decisions,
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: and there's nothing I can do for you, and I
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: really don't care.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Please write us back and.
- 1:09:17Speaker 9: Let us know how it goes.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Yeah, when they found up the father sir?
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: All right.

- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Biker creeping up beside you.
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features that can alert
- 1:09:56Speaker 8: you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:09:58Speaker 10: That's right, because Hendai has always working to ensure the

- 1:10:07Speaker 10: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: twenty four.
- 1:10:12Speaker 9: All right, tell me just come on, what you guy
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: for us today?
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: This is for the big Dog now, you know, the
- 1:10:17Speaker 10: Oscars of Sunday Night, all right, thee you're about to
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: get Best Actor, Best Actress, all of that.
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: And we talked earlier this week to Uncle Steve about
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: you and your acting career and all that. So you know,
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: I figured we go back and do something, you know,
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: like a Tommy's Acting class for Uncle Steve. Now, Uncle,
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: I just want to let you who Yeah, you know
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: this is like voice modulation. You know, you want to
- 1:10:41Speaker 10: be emotional, the authenticity you know, you know, acting is
- 1:10:46Speaker 10: not about just reciting lines, you know, it's about canulin
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: canulin catalyc, genuine emotion. You know what I'm saying. It's
- 1:10:53Speaker 10: like that, so unc, I want you to take these lines.
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: I want you to take these lines, think about it,
- 1:10:58Speaker 10: and then bring them back to me.

- 1:26:28Speaker 10: Uh.
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: I was thinking today. Listen to me as a source
- 1:26:32Speaker 8: of encouragement for all of you out there today. Don't
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: ever don't ever give up. Don't ever give up on
- 1:26:39Speaker 8: your dreams, don't ever give up on your hopes, don't
- 1:26:42Speaker 8: give up on your aspirations, and more importantly, don't give
- 1:26:46Speaker 8: up on yourself.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Keep the faith. You can do it.
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: And if you incorporate this one component, it changes everything
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: for you. If you never ever give up on God,
- 1:27:06Speaker 8: please understand, he ain't gonna ever give up on you.
- 1:27:09Speaker 8: He is always there, he is always available. He's a
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: very present help in the time of trouble. He hears
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: and answers prayer. Now, the devil is gonna make you
- 1:27:24Speaker 8: think that he ain't. He ain't here in your prayer.
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: And the devil gonna make you think he ain't answering
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: your prayer because he's gonna cause you to not think
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: about all the times He has done for you. And
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: the devil causes you to focus solely on the current
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: problem at hand at hand, and he makes you think
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: that it's lasting longer than you wanted to, and it's
- 1:27:48Speaker 8: going on so long that it's turned into too long.
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: And now you feel in this moment of despair. But
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: think about it, just for a minute, though of everything
- 1:28:02Speaker 8: you've ever thought in the past that lasted too long,
- 1:28:06Speaker 8: that stayed around so long. Eventually, eventually it went away,
- 1:28:14Speaker 8: and you realize that God, that entire time was providing
- 1:28:18Speaker 8: you with the strength and wherewith all to deal with it. See,
- 1:28:24Speaker 8: sometimes you know, when you ask God to make a
- 1:28:26Speaker 8: problem go away, you got to understand that all. So
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: God is your training coach, He's your life training coach.
- 1:28:33Speaker 8: So sometimes you ask God to make a problem go away.
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: God realizes you need some training for something that's coming
- 1:28:39Speaker 8: down the road, so he lets the problem stay a
- 1:28:42Speaker 8: little bit longer, but he strengthens you to deal with it,
- 1:28:45Speaker 8: and the next thing you know, your muscles are better
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: built for handling bad times, hard news, disappointments, and setbacks.
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: You ain't training, y'all. So oftentimes when it seems like
- 1:29:00Speaker 8: is lasting too long. That's like if you're in a
- 1:29:03Speaker 8: gym and you doing reps and your trainer say, okay,
- 1:29:07Speaker 8: we're doing eight reps, and then one day he come
- 1:29:11Speaker 8: in and say, okay, we're gonna do fifteen reps. Now
- 1:29:14Speaker 8: you've been doing eight this whole time. Now all of
- 1:29:18Speaker 8: a sudden, you're training to come in and say we're
- 1:29:19Speaker 8: gonna do fifteen reps. You know why, because he's noticed
- 1:29:22Speaker 8: you and he thinks it's time to push you to
- 1:29:25Speaker 8: the next level. But in order to push you to
- 1:29:28Speaker 8: the next level, he got to put you under the strain.
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: And so now when you get to number ten, you're
- 1:29:34Speaker 8: thinking this is enough. Then when you get to number twelve,
- 1:29:38Speaker 8: you going, hey, man, what's up with this? And he
- 1:29:42Speaker 8: just said, come on, I just need three more. Come on, push, push,
- 1:29:45Speaker 8: and sometimes.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: He helps you. He reached over there and he helped
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: you get the weight up.
- 1:29:51Speaker 8: And the last two is just you and him getting
- 1:29:54Speaker 8: him weight up until you have done your fifteen. Now
- 1:29:59Speaker 8: you accomplished it required a little bit of assistance. But
- 1:30:02Speaker 8: ain't that how God work? When God see you, Todd,
- 1:30:07Speaker 8: don't he always assist you? Look, y'all, don't give up.
- 1:30:11Speaker 8: Don't you down. Don't you let the devil make you
- 1:30:13Speaker 8: think God ain't present. Don't you let the devil think
- 1:30:15Speaker 8: that God has forgotten about you because he ain't. Stay
- 1:30:19Speaker 8: with it, stick to the plan, stay the course, hold on,
- 1:30:24Speaker 8: stay prayer for and just know this too shall pass,
- 1:30:29Speaker 8: just like everything else has. Okay, I like that. I'm
- 1:30:34Speaker 8: gonna keep that this too shall pass, just like everything
- 1:30:41Speaker 8: else has. That's my new one. Oh boy, come on,
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: I just God just gave that to me, and I
- 1:30:49Speaker 8: gave it to y'all. I know somebody gonna make a
- 1:30:52Speaker 8: T shirt. Go ahead, because I ain't. Y'all have a
- 1:30:57Speaker 8: great day. Talk to God.
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: He'd absolutely love to hear from this too. Show pass
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: just like everything else has. Wow,
