- 2:31Speaker 2: a life for you better than the one you've ever
- 2:34Speaker 2: felt before? And did you know that there was a
- 2:38Speaker 2: life for you much bigger than the one you wanted?
- 2:45Speaker 2: And lastly, did you know that what I just said
- 2:49Speaker 2: is true?
- 2:51Speaker 3: Did you know that?
- 2:54Speaker 2: Did you know that the things I just said are
- 2:57Speaker 2: available to you? It's not just intended for those who
- 3:04Speaker 2: receive awards, It's for everybody. Yeah, you too, It's for
- 3:14Speaker 2: you who didn't get your high school diploma. It's for
- 3:20Speaker 2: you who are incarcerated. It's for you who have two strikes.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It's for you who've been sentenced to life. It's for
- 3:36Speaker 2: you who've gotten out and have a felony record and
- 3:39Speaker 2: can't seem to get it together.
- 3:40Speaker 3: It's for you.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Who have an illness.
- 3:46Speaker 3: It's for you who the doctors have given up on.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It's for you. This life i'm talking about is for you.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Did you know.
- 4:01Speaker 2: That there's a life for you better than the one
- 4:04Speaker 2: you dreamed about, better than the one you've imagined, a
- 4:08Speaker 2: life better than the one you thought of, That there's
- 4:11Speaker 2: a life for you better than the one you've ever
- 4:13Speaker 2: felt before. There's a life for you better than the
- 4:18Speaker 2: one you saw for yourself. There's a better life for
- 4:21Speaker 2: you than the one you expected and even the one
- 4:24Speaker 2: you wanted. Did you know that this is true for you? See,
- 4:31Speaker 2: here's let me give you the secret to this thing.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Now you have to believe that it is for you. Now,
- 4:40Speaker 2: you gotta fight through the doubts. You gotta fight through
- 4:44Speaker 2: the wheel of satan, because the devil is busy man.
- 4:46Speaker 2: The devil wants you to think that it's hopeless. The
- 4:49Speaker 2: devil wants you to think that this is it. The
- 4:52Speaker 2: devil wants you to think that ain't no more to it.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The devil wants you to think that this applies to
- 4:57Speaker 2: other people. But you, Yeah, you've been dealt with the
- 5:00Speaker 2: worst hand of them all, which you ate. But that's
- 5:02Speaker 2: what the devil wants you to think. So you gotta
- 5:04Speaker 2: fight through. Now. You gotta fight through to get to
- 5:07Speaker 2: what I just said is available for you. But what
- 5:10Speaker 2: else you got to do? You ain't doing nothing else,
- 5:13Speaker 2: might as well fight. Why just wake up and just
- 5:16Speaker 2: let it be? Why would you wake up every day
- 5:18Speaker 2: and just exist when there's a chance for you to
- 5:21Speaker 2: actually live. See the reason I don't mind smiling so
- 5:25Speaker 2: much now is because I'm no longer existing. I'm living now.
- 5:29Speaker 3: See.
- 5:30Speaker 2: See, that's what you want to get to. You don't
- 5:32Speaker 2: want to exist to wake up paycheck to paycheck, date today,
- 5:37Speaker 2: not knowing, not understanding, not have and can't can't get this,
- 5:41Speaker 2: can't get that, can't go here, can't go there, Gota wait,
- 5:45Speaker 2: gota wait, goda wait, goda wait, till it seems like
- 5:48Speaker 2: you never get nowhere. You can get out of that
- 5:50Speaker 2: rut of life feeling like when you wake up in
- 5:53Speaker 2: the morning that your life is whole hum that you
- 5:55Speaker 2: just in a rut. I drive the same way to work.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I do the same thing on my job. When I
- 6:01Speaker 2: get off, I drive all the way back home.
- 6:03Speaker 3: I sit there, I.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Read the newspaper. I watered the lawn. I'm so sick
- 6:08Speaker 2: of my life. It ain't this, ain't what I wanted. Man,
- 6:11Speaker 2: and start wak up and start over do the same thing.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Then the weekend gets in. You got to mold the lawn,
- 6:17Speaker 2: and then you try to fix something in the garage
- 6:19Speaker 2: and you feel like your life is in a rut.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I'm talking about if this feels like a rut to you,
- 6:23Speaker 2: and if it's what you've always wanted, I'm cool with that.
- 6:26Speaker 3: But I'm talking to people who want it.
- 6:28Speaker 2: More, who would love their life to be more, who
- 6:31Speaker 2: would love their life too different to be different. Now,
- 6:34Speaker 2: I'm not criticizing you if I just described your life.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I'm just only talking to the ones who would dad
- 6:41Speaker 2: to believe that there's more to it than this. I'm
- 6:45Speaker 2: only talking to the ones who would dad to accept
- 6:49Speaker 2: the challenge to fight through and see what God got
- 6:53Speaker 2: for you. Instead of listening to Satan all the time.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Devil is busy, man, Please understand, he's so busy, so busy,
- 6:59Speaker 2: trying to trick you, get you into the groove. You know,
- 7:03Speaker 2: they doing all kinds of stuff now, man, you know
- 7:06Speaker 2: atheists and already got prayer taken out of schools. Excuse me,
- 7:09Speaker 2: look at our skills schools, not as a push by
- 7:12Speaker 2: the atheists to get the words in God we trust,
- 7:15Speaker 2: taking off our money. Here's a deal. If you don't
- 7:17Speaker 2: believe in God, and you don't want trust in God,
- 7:18Speaker 2: just going about your business. But what you can't do
- 7:21Speaker 2: is spill off all into what I'm talking about. That's
- 7:24Speaker 2: the problem I have with all of them. If you're
- 7:26Speaker 2: gonna do you, didn't do you, but don't spill off
- 7:29Speaker 2: into what I got.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Now. See, if you don't believe what I'm saying, then
- 7:32Speaker 3: I ain't talking to you. Let's just be clear.
- 7:34Speaker 2: About the relationship with Steve Harvey and his crew. I'm
- 7:38Speaker 2: only talking to the people that believe that are looking
- 7:41Speaker 2: for something else, that want something more, that wants something better,
- 7:46Speaker 2: that's got to be out there searching.
- 7:47Speaker 3: And hoping it and trying to do more. That's all
- 7:50Speaker 3: I'm talking to now.
- 7:52Speaker 2: If you don't believe what I'm saying is true, didn't
- 7:54Speaker 2: go ahead try it your way, go see write me,
- 7:57Speaker 2: email me, let me know how it's going for you.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'm telling you of a way that's tried and true.
- 8:03Speaker 2: If you go to God, if you go to your creator,
- 8:05Speaker 2: your makeup, if you go to him and you go
- 8:09Speaker 2: to him for real and tell him, hey, you know what,
- 8:13Speaker 2: I want you to go ahead and take over from here.
- 8:16Speaker 3: I'm done.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I'd have done all I know how to do out
- 8:20Speaker 2: of tried everything I know how to try. I'm sick
- 8:22Speaker 2: of me right now. Hey, look here, you created me
- 8:25Speaker 2: what you want me to do. And he had the
- 8:27Speaker 2: cool thing about it. When I made that decision, y'all. See,
- 8:30Speaker 2: I was so afraid for years that I was going
- 8:32Speaker 2: to miss out on something if I did that. I
- 8:34Speaker 2: couldn't do this no more. But the stuff I needed
- 8:36Speaker 2: to stop doing. I really need to stop the things
- 8:39Speaker 2: I was afraid of not being able to do anymore
- 8:41Speaker 2: with the very same things I really didn't need to
- 8:43Speaker 2: be doing no more in the first place. On the
- 8:46Speaker 2: real man, on the real all that temporary fun I
- 8:51Speaker 2: was having all them temporary outlets. I was using all
- 8:54Speaker 2: them temporary things, trying to fulfill myself I was doing.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I was just doing a bunch of temporary mess man.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I said, hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man,
- 9:03Speaker 2: I want a permanent feeling in my heart that it's
- 9:06Speaker 2: gonna be all right. So he replaced all that fun
- 9:09Speaker 2: with joy. But it was only because I went and
- 9:12Speaker 2: I faced him. He didn't take me and stopped me
- 9:15Speaker 2: from being me.
- 9:17Speaker 3: He just made a better version of me.
- 9:19Speaker 2: See, God don't take he because all the stuff he
- 9:22Speaker 2: sent you through, he needed you to go through all them.
- 9:25Speaker 2: He needed you to have him experience of what it
- 9:26Speaker 2: felt like to be locked up. He needed you to
- 9:29Speaker 2: have experience and know what it was to lose everything.
- 9:31Speaker 2: He needed you to have experience to make you tough.
- 9:35Speaker 2: You're just gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough
- 9:38Speaker 2: soldier in his army. That's all I just say, one
- 9:41Speaker 2: of the weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God
- 9:45Speaker 2: didn't take a lot of stuff from except the stuff
- 9:48Speaker 2: I needed. But the stuff he made me to be,
- 9:51Speaker 2: he allowed me to keep it, and he just made
- 9:53Speaker 2: a better of me. Do that, y'all, and you can
- 9:55Speaker 2: have what you want.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me have you
- 10:07Speaker 2: undivided attention.
- 10:09Speaker 3: You know what it is right now?
- 10:11Speaker 2: It's time for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, all
- 10:15Speaker 2: over the place, number one in most areas. Why and
- 10:21Speaker 2: because I'm just gonna I'm gonna tell you why I
- 10:23Speaker 2: think that is. I think it's giving honor to God,
- 10:29Speaker 2: which has kept us in a place for twenty years
- 10:34Speaker 2: that's hard to explain. I just think that honoring God
- 10:40Speaker 2: has been the key. I have no other explanation for you.
- 10:44Speaker 2: So we are who we are because God is who
- 10:46Speaker 2: he is.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Period.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's the explanation I have for you. I love to
- 10:51Speaker 2: take credit for it, but I can't.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I can't.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I don't know if you ever notice why it's so
- 10:56Speaker 2: hard to reach back there and pat yourself on the
- 10:58Speaker 2: back because.
- 10:59Speaker 3: You ain't supposed to, and people who have found.
- 11:02Speaker 2: A way to do it are usually dislocated. Oh you
- 11:07Speaker 2: gotta say something, Steve, Robert Marty Show, Sharloon Strawberry, Califreil, Mississippi, Monica,
- 11:14Speaker 2: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Good morning everyone, this morning, Steve, good morning.
- 11:23Speaker 3: I'm good with it.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Man, as long as he wake me up, I'm good.
- 11:28Speaker 2: However it is going. I appreciate the fact that my
- 11:31Speaker 2: name is being spoken in rooms that I have no
- 11:33Speaker 2: knowledge of, and I realize and knowing that God is
- 11:38Speaker 2: working on my behalf even though I can't see it.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Have you ever gotten to the point where you've done
- 11:44Speaker 2: all you can do? You know, you made all the
- 11:46Speaker 2: phone calls, you've made, all your meetings, you did all
- 11:49Speaker 2: the counseling you set there, and you just got to
- 11:52Speaker 2: sit here and go, wow, I can't do nothing else,
- 11:55Speaker 2: and then just go, hey, hey, God, it's on you.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Still exactly what your part?
- 12:05Speaker 3: Your part?
- 12:07Speaker 1: I know that I am God, and you're right.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I used to try to do my part and God's part.
- 12:14Speaker 1: That's exactly Tommy. Yeah, you were running things.
- 12:20Speaker 8: Yeah, such a good point. Yeah, He's like, I got this, Okay,
- 12:25Speaker 8: I got this. I don't need any help.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And then because he gives us the power of choice,
- 12:31Speaker 2: he allows us to make that decresion. Now now, now, now,
- 12:36Speaker 2: let's see how this play out based on your decisions. Now,
- 12:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna still cover you and protect you so you
- 12:43Speaker 2: don't fall all the way apart, but it's gonna do
- 12:46Speaker 2: some consequences from your decisions.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and here's where Bishop Brown came in handy for me.
- 12:53Speaker 2: He said, be careful of people who are always victims
- 12:58Speaker 2: of circumstances that they created. Yeah. Amen, that's been very
- 13:04Speaker 2: helpful in helping understand somebody.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Have you ever tried to debate a person.
- 13:11Speaker 2: With the truth where the truth is being spit back
- 13:16Speaker 2: to you as if it was a lie.
- 13:19Speaker 3: That's a hard person to talk to.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:23Speaker 2: If you're talking to someone and you're speaking nothing but truth,
- 13:27Speaker 2: but when they give it back to you, they giving
- 13:29Speaker 2: it back to you, like what everything you said was
- 13:32Speaker 2: a lie?
- 13:33Speaker 3: You could talk it to this person?

- 15:34Speaker 5: You started it after you left there, that's correct, one month,
- 15:37Speaker 5: one month after you left there. Okay. So the reason
- 15:41Speaker 5: why I'm giving you a call, and I've been you know,
- 15:43Speaker 5: we've gone through some security tapes and things of that nature.
- 15:46Speaker 5: We're missing so many rims of paper, We're missing thousands
- 15:51Speaker 5: of paper clips, We're missing so many office supplies, and
- 15:55Speaker 5: it's been brought to the securities attention that it's targeting
- 15:58Speaker 5: that you are the person that is taking all of
- 16:00Speaker 5: this office. I'm sorry.
- 16:03Speaker 10: Let me get this right, soil us.
- 16:05Speaker 5: You are calling my place of business.
- 16:06Speaker 10: Answer me if I have used paper clips and paper.

- 16:12Speaker 5: This, okay, ma'am listen. I know that I'm sorry for
- 16:15Speaker 5: calling your place to business, but I want to say
- 16:17Speaker 5: that we're at the point of actually picking you up
- 16:21Speaker 5: behind items that have been taken from the company. So
- 16:24Speaker 5: I wanted to call and see if we could get
- 16:25Speaker 5: it taken care of over the phone. Now you gotta go.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Then I'm going to have to actually come out of
- 16:30Speaker 5: your business. And that's something that I'm trying not to do.
- 16:32Speaker 10: You know, hold on one second, you hold that on.
- 16:35Speaker 10: Who is this on my phone talking about them paper clips?
- 16:39Speaker 10: I have been going from there for six months and

- 16:43Speaker 5: What paper clips? Man? We're missing at least five thousand
- 16:47Speaker 5: paper clips.
- 16:48Speaker 10: I'm gonna tell you.
- 16:49Speaker 6: What you can do.
- 16:50Speaker 10: I have been out of that company for six months.
- 16:52Speaker 10: I worked for y'all for eight years, and you all
- 16:54Speaker 10: let me go. I didn't take anything from you.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Okay. Have you ever used any paper or any paper

- 17:05Speaker 5: Okay, But you're using I paper for your own personal business,
- 17:09Speaker 5: your travel agent or whatever it is that you have.
- 17:11Speaker 5: You're using office supply that right there is against the laws.
- 17:16Speaker 10: Oh no, I will go and buy you some paper clips.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Okay, Well we don't want paper clips. Man. Now we've
- 17:22Speaker 5: given you a severanth way, and from my understanding, it's
- 17:25Speaker 5: been a substantial amount. And right now it's gonna be
- 17:28Speaker 5: filing charges and taking you to court over these paper
- 17:31Speaker 5: clips and paper I'm.
- 17:33Speaker 10: Gonna tell you what you can do the five thousand

- 17:42Speaker 5: I don't want to go back and fillip. I'm sorry,
- 17:45Speaker 5: this is some fill up. So are you wanting to
- 17:48Speaker 5: return all the merchandise because it looks like.
- 17:51Speaker 10: I needn't take no merchandise. I don't have to steal
- 17:53Speaker 10: nothing from y'all. I work for you for eight years, talking.
- 17:56Speaker 5: About for eight years, stole paper, paper clips, you stole
- 18:03Speaker 5: off the supplies, scissors, masking tape. You have taken markers, pens.
- 18:08Speaker 5: We got it down for No what.
- 18:09Speaker 10: Video tape you got?
- 18:11Speaker 8: Fillip.

- 24:05Speaker 2: when you home by yourself, don't man.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Come on, what's the first thing you're gonna do if

- 25:06Speaker 8: drive her, she gets a right share to drive her.
- 25:09Speaker 8: I suggested we sell her car to pay for her rides,
- 25:12Speaker 8: but she wants to keep her car.
- 25:14Speaker 1: How do I get her to compromise on this?
- 25:17Speaker 6: What?
- 25:17Speaker 2: I don't know, Brown, I don't think there is a compromise.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I don't think she's gonna sell her cart. Continue to
- 25:26Speaker 2: see what you're trying to do bruh is you're trying
- 25:29Speaker 2: to apply logic to this right exactly, and that ain't
- 25:33Speaker 2: gonna happen.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Let's sell your car to help her pay for the ride.
- 25:39Speaker 1: The ride share is expensive as a car note, a
- 25:41Speaker 1: monthly car note.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you what. Let me tell what's
- 25:45Speaker 2: gonna happen, bro, if you sell her car, yeah, because
- 25:50Speaker 2: she hates driving, all of a sudden she goes. You
- 25:53Speaker 2: do know she's gonna change her mind. Yes, No, guess
- 25:57Speaker 2: what you gonna gotta do now.

- 30:41Speaker 8: Congratulations going out to Laurie Harvey. Laurie has landed a
- 30:46Speaker 8: recurring role on the cast of hulu's Reasonable Doubt for
- 30:49Speaker 8: its third season. Laurie is set to play a character
- 30:53Speaker 8: named Chelsea, who is described as an unpredictable force with
- 30:58Speaker 8: a troubled pass that reservices the challenge Jacks. We all
- 31:01Speaker 8: know who Jack, says. Jack says the female lead of
- 31:04Speaker 8: the show in unexpected ways on a season three of
- 31:08Speaker 8: Reasonable Doubt. It premieres on September eighteenth on Hulu. Congratulations
- 31:13Speaker 8: again to Laurie and to her proud Death.
- 31:16Speaker 2: We was laughing so hard because Laurie went up for
- 31:20Speaker 2: this role where she plays this really poor woman who
- 31:25Speaker 2: has had grew up in hard times and never had
- 31:30Speaker 2: anything ever. Looking at her, I told her, I said,
- 31:33Speaker 2: I don't think you had acting skills to pull this off,
- 31:36Speaker 2: use you ain't had.
- 31:38Speaker 3: A hard day in your life. I don't read.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I don't know what you're fit to draw from. Well,
- 31:47Speaker 2: we was laughing at her. So heart, dad, I can
- 31:49Speaker 2: do it. Okay, Well hope you can.
- 31:50Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Well she got the role, so somebody thinks she can
- 31:54Speaker 1: do it.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she's doing well.
- 31:57Speaker 1: That's my show. So happy. That's a good show.
- 32:02Speaker 2: As a proud father. I just won't y'all know. I
- 32:04Speaker 2: ain't never seen the show and don't know what y'all
- 32:06Speaker 2: talking about.
- 32:07Speaker 1: It's so good, like you would like it, this show
- 32:10Speaker 1: you would like Yeah, all right.
- 32:12Speaker 8: Moving on to this ignorant story, President Donald Trump broke
- 32:16Speaker 8: from White House tradition yet again.
- 32:18Speaker 1: So what else is new there?
- 32:20Speaker 8: This time, Trump removed former President Barack Obama's official portrait
- 32:25Speaker 8: from the grand Furrier of the White House. White House
- 32:28Speaker 8: tradition says that the two most recent presidential portraits should
- 32:32Speaker 8: be hanging prominently in the Grand Furrier for the public viewing.
- 32:36Speaker 8: If you remember, back in April, Trump swapped Obama's White
- 32:39Speaker 8: House portrait with a painting of himself that was given
- 32:43Speaker 8: to him, that was given to him after his assassination attempt.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So the pettiness just never stops. Can you believe this?
- 32:51Speaker 1: I mean, freedom, It don't.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Change him being the greatest president we've ever had.
- 33:04Speaker 1: It does not try.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we can't see the picture no way, homie.
- 33:08Speaker 1: You know, yeah, this is terrible.
- 33:11Speaker 3: And last time I was at the White House he
- 33:13Speaker 3: was the president, so I really.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it was wow.
- 33:20Speaker 8: All right finally, this is according to Business Insider, Ditty's
- 33:24Speaker 8: legal team set in a recent interview that Ditty hopes
- 33:28Speaker 8: to counsel other domestic violence abusers upon his release from prison.
- 33:33Speaker 8: Ditty's defense lawyer, Alexandria Alexandra Shapiro stated is that the
- 33:39Speaker 8: idea that Ditty would quote work with programs and be
- 33:43Speaker 8: able to go in and talk to people about the
- 33:45Speaker 8: issue of domestic violence in a provocative way and be
- 33:50Speaker 8: an advocate. Sometimes people like him, yeah, yeah, some people
- 33:55Speaker 8: like him can be the best spokesperson, she says. Shapiro
- 33:58Speaker 8: also stated that Ditty's.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Okay, come on, hey, hey, hey, hey hey, let's stop
- 34:05Speaker 3: this foolishness.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Let's just hey, bro listen, man, get yourself together, do
- 34:12Speaker 2: whatever time they gonna give you, get out and get
- 34:15Speaker 2: out and focus on being the best father, the best
- 34:19Speaker 2: man you can be. Now you spend all this time, however,
- 34:23Speaker 2: you are as wealthy as you are. You ain't never
- 34:25Speaker 2: been married, and I can understand now why you don't
- 34:29Speaker 2: need to do that, But you being a domestic violence
- 34:32Speaker 2: counselor don't make no sense to nobody. So now let's
- 34:38Speaker 2: just stop. Look, just work on getting the man out,
- 34:42Speaker 2: let him do his time, pay for the crime, and
- 34:45Speaker 2: then just let the man go home.
- 34:47Speaker 3: That's it. That's it.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Ain't no, you want to set up something else. Ain't
- 34:51Speaker 2: nobody finna go down here to the P Diddy School
- 34:54Speaker 2: of Domestic Violence Counselor. Ain't nobody an'ybody sending their babies
- 34:58Speaker 2: down there. Ain't nobody anybody doing that. Ain't nobody anybody
- 35:04Speaker 2: sending their daughter down there.
- 35:05Speaker 3: To talk to him. Ain't nobody sending their son y'all
- 35:08Speaker 3: cut this out? What else can he do?
- 35:10Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 35:11Speaker 1: Well, okay, I gotta make a correction.
- 35:12Speaker 6: It's a room on the right, right behind the baby
- 35:14Speaker 6: off the room on the right, all right.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I said.
- 35:18Speaker 8: His lawyer said he would work with programs and be
- 35:20Speaker 8: able to go in and talk to people about the
- 35:23Speaker 8: issue of domestic violence in a proactive way.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I said provocative, but I meant pro active.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Yeah, proactive, provocative. It don't make no sense. We're too
- 35:37Speaker 2: far ahead of the game.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Hey, man, I don't care. Listen to me.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I'm not the judge of the jury. Whatever's gonna happen
- 35:45Speaker 2: is gonna happen. But when he does get out, he's
- 35:48Speaker 2: got to change his focus. He gotta work. He gotta
- 35:51Speaker 2: work on himself as a human being. And you ain't
- 35:55Speaker 2: got time to work on other people because you gotta
- 35:57Speaker 2: fix yourself. It's a lot undoing you got to do.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but they his lawyers want to submit this as
- 36:07Speaker 1: a bid to the judge, you know, and now to.
- 36:10Speaker 3: Get him out. Ain'tybody finn to do that?
- 36:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 36:13Speaker 3: Yeah, fix your life. This ain't this, Yeah, you ain't
- 36:19Speaker 3: any yanler.
- 36:21Speaker 8: Come on, man, they're really reaching his legal team on
- 36:25Speaker 8: this one. Look, and they're going to present this before
- 36:28Speaker 8: the judge.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Listen, whatever they want. I don't care.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Here's a man who is in a situation I have
- 36:34Speaker 2: no control over, no hand in it. So whatever the
- 36:37Speaker 2: jury has decide, whatever the fate is, he's gonna have
- 36:40Speaker 2: to deal with that part. His focus then becomes to
- 36:45Speaker 2: do his time and get out and become the best
- 36:48Speaker 2: person he can do. And a lot of people do
- 36:50Speaker 2: change in prison.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I have seen it.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Yeah, because when you have, when you have that much
- 36:55Speaker 2: time to sit down any more distractions A lot of
- 36:59Speaker 2: times and you sitting there that sell ain't nobody in
- 37:01Speaker 2: there with you but God, And a part of this
- 37:04Speaker 2: could be part of his rehabilitation. Sometimes you got to
- 37:08Speaker 2: get set down. God know how to get you on
- 37:11Speaker 2: divided attention because he's done it to all of us.

- 41:17Speaker 8: back to school time, and I have a question for
- 41:20Speaker 8: you guys about high school.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Think back right.
- 41:23Speaker 8: After o h you're listening Hardy Morning show. Well we
- 41:32Speaker 8: all know that it is back to school time now. Carla,
- 41:35Speaker 8: your daughter Tasha, with her cute self, is a senior
- 41:39Speaker 8: this year.
- 41:40Speaker 1: Where the dago, that's our baby, where the time go?
- 41:44Speaker 5: Yes?
- 41:45Speaker 9: Yes?
- 41:46Speaker 8: And then Tommy, your son Jordan is still in middle
- 41:49Speaker 8: school right grade?
- 41:51Speaker 5: Yep?
- 41:52Speaker 3: Good Bill, All right.
- 41:53Speaker 8: So here's the question, guys, if you could go back
- 41:56Speaker 8: to your high school years, what is a one, one thing,
- 42:01Speaker 8: the one thing you would do differently.
- 42:03Speaker 7: I think I would be more involved in school. I
- 42:07Speaker 7: don't think I was as involved as my daughter. She's
- 42:10Speaker 7: very you know, I guess because she's actually she's active,
- 42:14Speaker 7: fear and stuff, stuff that's going on.
- 42:17Speaker 1: I think when I was in high school, just trying
- 42:19Speaker 1: to survive.
- 42:21Speaker 8: Could our parents afford everything that we wanted to get
- 42:24Speaker 8: involved with?
- 42:25Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 42:25Speaker 1: That was the other thing.
- 42:27Speaker 7: Yeah, no, no, So I would have liked to be
- 42:29Speaker 7: more involved, because you know, at the reunion high school reunion,
- 42:32Speaker 7: I remember half of them people exactly.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Yeah, what would you do?
- 42:41Speaker 3: I tried for the basketball team one more time.
- 42:46Speaker 8: I'm sorry, right there, Sorry, no one most else? Yeah,
- 42:56Speaker 8: the basketball team, okay, and why didn't you?
- 43:03Speaker 3: Why did he make it? All us?
- 43:07Speaker 2: And the family was trying to figure out, why is
- 43:08Speaker 2: he down there at the tryouts?
- 43:10Speaker 3: Okay this boy no Gridden, Well he can't basketball.
- 43:20Speaker 1: So Steve, what would you do differently?
- 43:23Speaker 3: I would try to be more distant, more what is it?
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't get that. Just I felt like, you know,
- 43:32Speaker 1: you were too involved too entrenched in the culture. What
- 43:35Speaker 1: are you saying? I don't know.
- 43:36Speaker 3: I was already voted most difficult.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Oh so you want to be more even more? Is
- 43:44Speaker 1: that possible?
- 43:45Speaker 5: Though?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Really I don't know that to us.
- 43:49Speaker 3: I'm pretty you know, I'm pretty good at it.
- 43:51Speaker 7: I just saw your classmates will be proud to know
- 43:55Speaker 7: you've lived up.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Did I did everything? Y'all thought I was gonna do something.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I said it to you a few times. You were
- 44:02Speaker 1: not in high school anymore because.
- 44:04Speaker 2: They show thought I wasn't gonna make it that show.
- 44:10Speaker 1: And look at you.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Now you know what and the it was, you know,
- 44:13Speaker 2: like we had you know, we had categories, you know,
- 44:16Speaker 2: most equationous, you know, the funniest. You know, uh, it's likable.
- 44:22Speaker 2: You know, they had most likely to succeed. I don't
- 44:27Speaker 2: nowhere near.
- 44:28Speaker 1: That really, so you would be more distant. How does
- 44:34Speaker 1: that help? I don't know. I didn't.
- 44:37Speaker 3: I didn't really care for too many people, no way.
- 44:39Speaker 7: So.
- 44:41Speaker 2: I didn't have a high school experience everybody else had.
- 44:47Speaker 2: I sit, if you're going, man, when does this going in?
- 44:51Speaker 3: What is this fall? Man?
- 44:53Speaker 2: Can we go to the next level? I'm not understanding this.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Plus when I was a senior in high school. I
- 45:00Speaker 2: was done every day at twelve. Oh yeah, every day
- 45:04Speaker 2: at TELK, and I went to work.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I went to work. I had a job. I
- 45:09Speaker 3: had a job. Eleventh grade.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, Wow.
- 45:12Speaker 3: My dog gets out at two.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Now she gets through school at two o'clock.
- 45:17Speaker 2: She's done, and then she just goes cheer and all
- 45:21Speaker 2: this here because y'all half rich, y'all gave all these
- 45:24Speaker 2: opportunities and everything.
- 45:25Speaker 3: But I had to go to work.
- 45:29Speaker 8: I think I would have concentrated less on clothes, fashions
- 45:33Speaker 8: and boys.
- 45:34Speaker 1: That's what I would have done differently if I had gone.
- 45:36Speaker 1: If you know, if I could do it again every
- 45:40Speaker 1: day for what I wore.
- 45:41Speaker 3: And boys, you would our fashion?
- 45:44Speaker 5: What is that?
- 45:45Speaker 3: Little? I was coold man?
- 45:48Speaker 2: I had. I had five shirts, hello, pair of pants
- 45:54Speaker 2: and I alternated and rotated.
- 45:58Speaker 3: Yeah. So like they they knew by they knew what
- 46:01Speaker 3: day of the week was by what I had on.
- 46:03Speaker 3: It's on Wednesday.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Oh, what's up Wednesday?
- 46:08Speaker 3: All right, big Tuesday? What's up? So you got them
- 46:11Speaker 3: black fans?
- 46:12Speaker 8: Well, he tried up for the basketball team and didn't
- 46:14Speaker 8: make it. But nephew Tommy made it here and he's
- 46:18Speaker 8: up next with today's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 46:21Speaker 8: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 46:29Speaker 8: at about four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry
- 46:31Speaker 8: letter for today and the subject is a major cover.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Up is going on.
- 46:37Speaker 8: We'll get into that and find out what that's all about. Yeah,
- 46:40Speaker 8: but right now it is time for the nephew and
- 46:42Speaker 8: today's prank phone call.
- 46:44Speaker 6: What you got for his neph I got one for you, Shirley.
- 46:47Speaker 6: You know, you know I want to get us something
- 46:50Speaker 6: for a birthday. I want to get us something nice.

- 46:53Speaker 3: I want to do that. I want to get us
- 46:55Speaker 3: something nice for a birthday.
- 46:56Speaker 6: Okay, you know, so you know you want to make
- 46:59Speaker 6: sure you're not getting something somebody else is getting.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Does that make sense to your right?
- 47:05Speaker 1: You don't want to duplicate gifts.
- 47:06Speaker 3: You don't duplicate, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 47:09Speaker 3: may as well call her husband and see what he gets.

- 47:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I'm trying to figure out, you know,
- 47:25Speaker 6: do he think you know, I want to ask him
- 47:27Speaker 6: to do he think you know, she might like Victor

- 56:46Speaker 6: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on type
- 56:48Speaker 6: We gut it for you. Here it is Strawberry letter.
- 56:52Speaker 8: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject. A major cover up
- 56:55Speaker 8: is going on. Dear Stephens, Shirley. I'm a forty six
- 56:58Speaker 8: year old married woman and my husband is forty eight.
- 57:02Speaker 8: He's in hot water with me because I have enough
- 57:04Speaker 8: clues to put him in a particular hotel or a
- 57:08Speaker 8: similar hotel, and he will not come clean about the situation.
- 57:11Speaker 8: So here's the backstory. His car broke down on the
- 57:14Speaker 8: other side of town, and he didn't call me to
- 57:17Speaker 8: get a ride. He called from He called me from
- 57:20Speaker 8: a restaurant and said his coworker picked him up and
- 57:23Speaker 8: they stopped to have dinner, but he would not tell
- 57:26Speaker 8: me which one of his co workers he was with.
- 57:28Speaker 8: He got home right before eleven PM and I was
- 57:31Speaker 8: already in the bed. He took a shower and crawled
- 57:34Speaker 8: into bed, smelling like alcohol. The next morning, his car
- 57:38Speaker 8: was in the garage. I asked how he got his car,
- 57:41Speaker 8: and he said it was getting fixed last night while
- 57:44Speaker 8: he ate dinner. I knew something was up. I went
- 57:47Speaker 8: to his car when he went to the bathroom, and
- 57:49Speaker 8: I snooped through it. Nothing was out of place. I
- 57:52Speaker 8: went through his backpack and I saw a tiny bottle
- 57:55Speaker 8: of lotion and a tiny bottle of mouthwash in it.
- 57:58Speaker 8: I also saw a small empty water bottle with a
- 58:02Speaker 8: hotel's name on it. I took the items inside and
- 58:05Speaker 8: asked him if he was at a hotel the night before.
- 58:08Speaker 8: He said that his coworker works there part time, and
- 58:12Speaker 8: those items were in his coworker's car, and he used
- 58:15Speaker 8: the mouthwash to cover up the alcohol before he got home,
- 58:19Speaker 8: and he drank the water to sober up. But the bottle,
- 58:23Speaker 8: the water bottle wasn't even open. I asked to talk
- 58:26Speaker 8: to his coworker, and he gave me some man's name
- 58:29Speaker 8: that I'd never heard of. I called the guy and
- 58:32Speaker 8: he sounded nervous when he lied and said exactly what
- 58:35Speaker 8: my husband had said. I think my husband was at
- 58:38Speaker 8: a hotel that night with a female. Where else would
- 58:41Speaker 8: he be. Do you buy his story and his mystery
- 58:44Speaker 8: friend's story or is it a lie? Okay, no, I
- 58:48Speaker 8: do not buy this story at all. It's two many
- 58:51Speaker 8: loopholes in it. I knew you were going to say that, Yeah,
- 58:57Speaker 8: I don't buy a story at all, and you should neither. Okay,
- 59:01Speaker 8: you're a forty six year old married woman. He's forty eight.
- 59:04Speaker 8: His car, so, he says, so, he says, stopped. You know, no,
- 59:11Speaker 8: we don't know what kind of car it was. But
- 59:13Speaker 8: I got to ask you, what is your gut telling you,
- 59:15Speaker 8: because this story just sounds shady to me. His car
- 59:18Speaker 8: broke down, he didn't call you to pick him up,
- 59:21Speaker 8: but a coworker whose name you wouldn't tell you you
- 59:24Speaker 8: never heard of, supposedly picked him up, and then they
- 59:28Speaker 8: went to have dinner dinner while his car was being
- 59:32Speaker 8: worked on, his car was being serviced. To me, this
- 59:35Speaker 8: story just sounds crazy. He comes in eleven pm at
- 59:37Speaker 8: night with mouthwashed and an empty, unopened bottle of water
- 59:41Speaker 8: that he said he drank to mask the alcohol. But
- 59:44Speaker 8: he went to bed smelling like alcohol, and you said
- 59:47Speaker 8: the bottle wasn't even open. I mean, this is so
- 59:50Speaker 8: confusing and crazy sounding. Then his car just magically appeared
- 59:55Speaker 8: the next morning, conveniently, the coworker works at a motel
- 59:59Speaker 8: with a low mouthwash and all that. I mean, just
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: on and on and on, lifter, lie after lie again.
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: I do not believe this story, and I don't think
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: you should either. He should have called you his wife
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: at some point while he was out having dinner with
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: a coworker to let you know what was going on.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I just say, don't believe his lifesness. Don't believe him,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Steve Wow, Wow, Well, well come on, come on, all right, I.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Tell you what I'm gonna do. Let's just go over
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: the facts as I read it. I'm a forty six
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: year old married woman, husband forty eight. He's in hot
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: water because I have enough clues to put him at
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: a particular hotel or a similar hotel, totally unclear. You
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: don't know where it was. You're not even sure. And
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: I don't know what these clues are, but they sound
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: and kind of shake, and he will not come clean
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: about the situation. Well, let's find out. So he's backstor it.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: His car broke down on the other side of town.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: He didn't call me to get a ride. I understand
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: that he called me from a restaurant and said his
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: coworker picked him up and they stopped to have dinner.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: But he would not tell me which one of his
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: coworkers he was with. Okay, not really sure why he
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: didn't do that, but but he did tell her which
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: one he was with, because you'll find that out later
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: on in the letter. He got home before eleven pm.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I'm already in bed. He took a shower, crawled in
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: bed smelling like alcohol. The next morning, his car was
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: in the garage. I asked him how he.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Got his car.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: He said it was getting fixed last night. Why he
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: ate dinner. That's why he called his boy. Because his
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: boy know the dude that had the tow truck that
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: could get his car and get it over the garage
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: and get it looked at him, so he said, man,
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: let me knock this out for you right quick.
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: Home on me.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: While they had dinner, I knew something was up, so
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: I went to his car. When he went to the bathroom,
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: I snooped through it. Nothing was out of place.
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Then I went through his backpack. Now this what throws
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: me off. There's an age limit on backpack.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Let's get distracted.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: If you forty eight, I don't think you half that.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I just smiled back to the letter.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I saw a tiny bottle of lotion and a tiny
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: bottle of mouth washing it. I saw a small empty
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: water bottle with a hotel's name on it. I took
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: the items inside the assroom. He was at a hotel
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: last night, He says. Coworker worked at part time and
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: those are I for a co worker.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: Car.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: He used the mouthwash to cover up the alcohol.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: He got home and he drank the water and soap up.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: But the water bottle wasn't even open. You just said
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: it was an empty water bottle.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Hang on.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: The he just said it was an empty water bottle.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Hang on, hang on, But he was, Oh, she tripp
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: it what he told her?
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: Subject A major cover up is going on. We'll get
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey

- 1:03:56Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: The subject is a major cover up is going on.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: You know what, y'all listen to me. Really, I'm just
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: reading the facts. Vote at you. Old woman marriage forty
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: year old dude.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: He had hot water because she has enough clues, she
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: says to put him at a particular hotel or a
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: similar hotel. Now, you either got the goods that puts
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: him at a hotel or you don't. What do you
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: mean you got it for a particular hotel or a
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: similar hotel? What are you talking about? Which hotel is it?
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: So here's a backstory. His car broke down on the
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: other side of the town. He didn't call the wife.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: He called you from a restaurant and said his coworker
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: picked him up and they stopped to have dinner. But
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: he wouldn't tell me which one of the coworkers he
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: was with. Well he later on he does, so she's
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: not telling the truth.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: He got home before eleven. I was already in bed.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: He took a shower, crawled into bed, smelling like alcohol.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Next morning, his car was in the garage. I asked
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: him how he got his car. He said he got
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: it fixed last night. While he ate dinner. His boy
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: that he called had a partner to work out of garage.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Picked his cab told it over there fixed it while
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: they was eating dinner.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: He drove the car home.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: She said, I knew something was up, so I went
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: to his car. When he went to the bathroom, snooped
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: through it. Nothing was out of place. Okay, so nothing
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: was out of place in the car, and you had
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: some clues that put him at a particular hotel or
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: a similar hotel. But I went through his backpack and
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I saw a tiny bottle of lotion and a tiny
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: bottle of mouthwash in it. I also saw a small
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: empty water ball water bottle with a hotel's name on it.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: I took the items inside and asked him if he
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: was at a hotel last night. He said, his coworker
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: works there part time, and those were the items were
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: in his coworker's car. He used the mouthwash to cover
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: up the alcohol before he got home, and he drank
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: the water to sober up. But the water bottle wasn't
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: even open. Lady, you just said that was a small
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: empty water bottle, and then you said.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Huh, he said, dan the water.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: He drank the water.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: She said she found an empty water bottle in the trunk,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: and then she said, but the water bottle wasn't even open.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: So how did you find the empty one? Lady?
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: And it was I don't get this. That part was
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: confusing to me.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Because he drank one of the bottles. I'm just telling
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: you he drank the water. I asked to talk to
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: his coworker. He gave me some man's name that I
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: had never heard of. Okay, now you said he didn't
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: tell you who he was with, but he gave.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: You the name and the phone. I called the guy.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: He sounded nervous when he lied and said, exactly what
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: my husband has said. He gives you a man's name.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: And no, you don't know what's a coworker. You don't
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: know everybody he work with. You give you the man's name.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: You called a man.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: He said everything your husband had said exactly. I think
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: my husband was at a hotel that night with a female.
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: What female?
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Where in this whole letter did you did anything show
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: up that said female should anything?
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: Wasn't it convenient though, that the coworker just happened to
- 1:07:30Speaker 8: be at the work, at the hotel, at where the
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: mouth should at where the mouth wash and the water
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: was the empty or full bottle of water? I don't
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: know this letter is yeah, it was, Yeah that it
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: was convenient, right, very convenient. Well, where did to help
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: him with his life? Can you tell your wife this?
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Yes, that one right there, because guess what, there's no
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: female in this letter. Where else would he be? Do
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: you buy history and his mystery freeing story or is
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: it a lot? It ain't no mystery free And you
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: talk to the guy. He's not a mystery friend. You
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: talk to the guy.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: He said exactly what your husband said.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, nervous. She said, he was really nervous. Why
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: do you think he was so nervous?
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: If tommy wife called me, I'd be nervous.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Why would you be nervous? Though?
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Just tell cause she ain't never called me before.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: She's called you before, hasn't she?
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's different, don't don't you doing?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Steve helped him? He needs help this line.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: I don't need no help.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't like this life.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: The lady is looking for something to be wrong, and
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: she's gonna make it wrong no matter what.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: And that's what's happening.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: But he's no matter what, not calling his wife. He
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: should have called her when the car first.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: He called her from the dinner place. His wife don't
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: fix the cars. His homie. She got a dude that
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: fixed cars.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: She could have come and picked him, picked him up
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: or something.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but the dudes homie picked him up and then
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: they went and ate while the corcod worked on. Yeah,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the coworker, which he gave her the phone number two,
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: and she called him. And when she said he drank
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: the water bottle, you say, and that was an empty
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: water bottle with a hotel name on it.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: But then the water bottle wasn't even open. That lady,
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: make up your mind.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Can you?
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: She was in the car looking for something to justify
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: her theory, and it's not adding up because in none
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: of this letter do I see a woman. It wasn't
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: no lipstick on the bottle, wasn't no perfume in the car,
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: wasn't no pennies, nothing.

- 1:11:23Speaker 6: Dion already said, if you see a Porter party on
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: the sideline that blongs to me, I got to be
- 1:11:29Speaker 6: able to get there quick. And we understand. All right,
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: all right, Porter partty on the sideline that blows to them. Okay,
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: cancer survival, let's go survival. I'm gonna do like that,
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: get my own little Porter party. See he gonna be
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: selling here, he's gonna be making money.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: That's cold. They gonna know how to do it. Look
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: at uh Bill Belichick, what what you start selling? Porter Party?
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: You know how many people buying?

- 1:11:58Speaker 3: flush fan come on man and.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Ask your question. Yes, sir, you know anything about cleaning
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: that Porter party. But I've seen I've seen the cop
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: commercials where people got turned over in them.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: But talking about this right now, clean, how did you
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: get turned.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Over in the Porter Party? What happened?
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Not?
- 1:12:17Speaker 6: No, no, no, I said, I've seen people get turned
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: over on social media. And you need is somebody to
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: push it you upside down.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Oh I would die can we just please move on?
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: All right? Hey, I don't know if you heard this.
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: Guess what this is the first year now Bill Belichick
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: is getting ready to be the head coach for North
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: Carolina the college it's been yeah, okay, I don't know.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: I don't never do the news. So you got bad
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: with you this time? This time? Well all right, yeah,
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: well it's cost fortune.
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: And of course the big news of the weekend, of
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: this parent's weekend is should do it? Did outstanding for
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: the Cleveland Browns. A young man plays reequarters through two touchdowns,
- 1:13:05Speaker 6: all right, he let him the three touchdowns and then
- 1:13:07Speaker 6: on our standing job. I don't know if he will
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: ever get the snaps that he needs from from the
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: from the first team, but let me tell you, the boy.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Player, you gotta believe he fit to get some snaps now,
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: I hope.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: So it's time.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: It's time. Well, here's here's the big news.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: The UFC has sold themselves to Paramount. Now that's right,
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: so you will no longer.
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: Have to go to ESPN Plus and buy pay per view.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: UFC fights in twenty twenty six, and they sold it
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: for seven point seven billion dollars.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: I'll standing, but let me say this here.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: Don't you ever get in on my sports and bring
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: some news you ain't ran by me though, Okay, you.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Don't do that when I oh, it's a problem. You
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: don't do that when I do.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: I was just trying to help lou Raggin.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: I'm on the top of the hour.
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: A wife wants to go against her husband's wishes and
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: she needs some advice. Fast we'll get We'll get into
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: that right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: Morning Show.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: A right, Steve.
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: This is from Wanda in Shreveport. Wanda says, I have
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: a niece that my husband and I raised. Her mom
- 1:14:20Speaker 8: is my sister, and my sister needs to borrow some
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: money from us to get an apartment. My husband told
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: her that we've done all we can do. I plead
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: it with him, and he said that we helped my
- 1:14:30Speaker 8: sister's child and now that she has grown, we're done.
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: If it was his sister, he would gladly give it
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: to her. Would I be wrong to give my sister
- 1:14:39Speaker 8: the money she needs?
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: Well, here we go again.
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: If the money that your sister needs has to come
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: out of you and your husband's joint money, then you're
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: gonna have to have it a discussion with your husband.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: He already didn't know that.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: He said no, And that's because they don't have the
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Faull Bank account I've told people to get. Now, if
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: you had your own money, your separate allowance, you could
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: do with it what you want. And if he had
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: his own separate he can help his sister, his brother
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: without referring to you. But once you have to go
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: into the joint account, you're gonna have to have this discussion.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: And this is what you're having a problem, because you
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: say yes and he say no. So now, if you're
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: going to do it anyway, you're gonna create a ripple
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: in your house. Yeah, and that's just all to it.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: So if the ripple is worth it, then go ahead.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: I don't do ripples no more.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Your ripple free.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: So you're saying that your husband would gladly do it
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: for his sister, but we're not talking about that case
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: right now. We're talking about your sister, and y'all haven
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: already raised her child. Now, if you continue to enable
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: your sister, what is your sister gonna do for herself?
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: Well, that's what she.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Wanted money for an apartment.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: She wants to get Well, I understand, didn't you know?
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: I personally would help my sister. But yeah, it's gonna
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: create a problem though.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Yeah, just know that going here. Next question, all right,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Steve.
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: This is from Christian and Decatur. Christian says, it's been
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: twenty years since I saw my ex girlfriend and she's married. Now,
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: that didn't stop us from having sex. I was cool
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: with having sex with her while she was in town
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: for the weekend. Yeah, that's what it says, but it
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: was heavy on her conscience. When she got back home,
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: she opened up to her husband and told her about
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: our fling. He has called me several times. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: he has called me several times saying he wants to
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: talk about what happened.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I did not sign up for that. Do I have
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: to talk to this man about what I did?
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Wow, he ain't gonna talk to you.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: No, this is not gonna be about time he gonna
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: do something to you. Well, she was feeling guilty, so
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: she wanted to get Africa. Yeah, well she was feeling guilty. Well, Sureley,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: I'm with Steve and Tommy. Something you got to take
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: to you gra agree.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: Grade yeah, yeah, I ain't ever felt no guilt like that.
- 1:17:17Speaker 8: Okay, really well, she was feeling guilty so much so
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: that she confessed to her husband.
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: Oh that's too much. You got a conversation. You gotta
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: talk to people and know that they're gonna do that
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: kind of stuff. You gotta, you gotta, you gotta know
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: what people.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: You need to run that by your free in the
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: something first for you, go in that confessor before you confess,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: run it by somebody.
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: But you haven't you ever done something, Steve? You guys
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: that has been weighing heavily on your mind. You know,
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: haven't you ever done something like that? I wanted to
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: get it off you. You wanted to get it off you. Yeah,
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: that's what she's That's.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: What she did. When I took a shower, I gets
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: it on. You're for real refreshed.
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: We threw we threw mind clear, all minds clear, all
- 1:18:10Speaker 8: man clear.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: But she couldn't do that. She could not do that.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: She couldn't live with that guilt on her conscience. So
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: you go tell your husband you cheat it?
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: Yeah, till your husband you cheat it, And not only
- 1:18:26Speaker 8: do you put yourself in jeopardy, but you put the
- 1:18:28Speaker 8: person you cheated with in jeopardy.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I mean it was just a fling to him. Well,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: oh my goodness, craziness. Right, you're gonna do it?
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: What is wrong?
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: Shut up?
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: She broke all the cheating rules.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: All guilty is all me. Listen to me. It'll go away,
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: all right.
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: Coming up.
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: Twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:25:23Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day,
- 1:25:27Speaker 8: and it's been a great day, it really has.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: We've had fun today and yesday.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: I was thinking, yes about something to share with everybody
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: that might help a lot of people.
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: You know, I know.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: That whenever you make a decision to change or to
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: become better, or to improve your life for the good,
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: that's the God in you. That's the God side of you.
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: All of us have that in us.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: Because we were created in His likeness and his image.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: So we all have the God in us, and those
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: of us that have nurtured that side have become spiritual beings.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: We have a relationship with God, or we are very
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: aware of him, even if it's not a really really
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: close relationship. If you just honor God and respect the
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: fact that you know he's there. Maybe you've been tripping
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: a little bit, been off on your own, ain't been
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: as diligent with praying as you should be.
- 1:26:30Speaker 3: You still know that you're a child of God.
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: And you know he's your heavenly father.
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: But when you do pull it together and you make
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: the decision to do more, to do better, to do right,
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: here comes opposition.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: See, the devil gets.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: Mad when you try to do the right thing. It
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: angers him, and now he's going to attack you to
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: try to prevent you from heading in the right direction.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: Now he don't attack you because he got control of you.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: He's mad because he don't have control of you. But
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: there are a group of people that he have working
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: for him twenty four seven that he has full access to.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: And then you be looking at well, why don't and
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: why won't he ever attack them? He don't have to.
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: He don't have to attack them and go for them.
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: He got them already. They are available to do his bidding.
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: All of us know people like that who are always
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: starting something, always got some bad news for you, always
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: involved in something. Every time you turn up in your
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: circle of friends if there are some controversy, they always
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: in it. They seem to be in the middle of everything,
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: and you have to, you know, you just have to.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: At one point you want to tell them, hey, you know, look,
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: have you ever noticed that the common denominator of all
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: the trouble that's in our the common denominator is you.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: So I've had to tell a young man that who
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: worked for me. Every time the company had a problem
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: with somebody, he was involved. I had to sit him
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: down and I go, young man, the problem is you.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: No.
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: Everybody always coming to meet No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: Listen to me, man, it's always you. You're gonna have
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: to correct some things about yourself. You're gonna have to
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: self check yourself. But when you are making this decision
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: to do better and to write, to do right, he
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: gonna sen he gonna send his imps for you. And
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: they come in and they vile to man, oh they vile.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: But let me give you some advice in dealing with
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: these vile people, these trolls, these internet people. Do you know, man,
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: that you don't have to give them that type of power.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: And do you know something, They only have that power
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: if you allot it to them. Stop taking criticism from
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: people you don't take advice from. That's a great lesson
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: to learn, man, Stop taking criticism from people you don't
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: take advice from. That was one of the greatest lessons
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: I had to learn. Why am I sitting up listening
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: to you how you feel about me telling me everybody
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: when I ain't what I wouldn't what I did when
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: I would not take a single piece of advice from you.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: So in your quest to do better, to do right,
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: to do more, just keep stepping, keep stepping, keep putting
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: one foot in front of the other and going about
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: your business. Do what God has ordered you to do.
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: And it's okay with who don't understand it. Listen, you're
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: gonna get pushed back from family members, all of us
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: who have all of us who have strived to be
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: different than our family, We've gotten pushed back from them,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: you know, all of us. I don't care if you
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: got a position at the post Office, if you got
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: the job down at fed X.
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: If you're driving a coke truck you' a supervisor, a PEPSI,
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't care what you're doing. If
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: you decide you're gonna get you an Orcan distributorship, maybe
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: you're trying to open up a fast food chain. You
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: done got you a Pollo loco, or you're trying to
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: get yourself a Kentucky Fried Chicken on McDonald's.
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: Here come to opposition, Why would you do that?
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: I don't really see that for you. Well, they don't
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: have to see it, and it's not for them to
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: see it. What God has for you, he has for you,
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: He don't usually show it to other people. He usually
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: just shows it to you. That's that vision you keep having,
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: That's those dreams that keep you up at night. That's
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: that thing, man, that you see yourself doing. And when
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: you share it with somebody. They can't see it. I
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: know they can't see it. And the reason they can't
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: see it is God ain't show it to him. Listen, man,
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: make up your mind to stay the course. Make up
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: your mind to stay on track. And remember, if you
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: decided to do more, to be better, to acquire more,
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: to have more, to be about something, there is going
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: to be opposition.
- 1:31:40Speaker 3: But it's okay. It's okay. Opposition. Strength is you.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: A lot of the opposition is just to make you stronger,
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: so when you get where you're going, you have what
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: you need to stay there. That's usually what it's for.
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: Those are my closing remarks today. Hope you got something
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: out of it. If not, maybe tomorrow we'll try again.
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: Talk to God today, Y'alli'd absolutely love to hear from you.
