- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Come come on your baby, sure will the
- 2:04Speaker 1: good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:08Speaker 1: dig me now want and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. Man o man o man. I thank God
- 2:17Speaker 1: for it. I thank God for all he's done for me,
- 2:21Speaker 1: for all the little things that are oftentimes failed to
- 2:25Speaker 1: thank him for that I take for granted for you know,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I was. I was talking the other day to a
- 2:33Speaker 1: buddy of mine. We had gotten to this conversation about
- 2:37Speaker 1: God and and and in the conversation we had narrowed
- 2:43Speaker 1: it down and we were talking about changing the way
- 2:46Speaker 1: we are as people. You know that everybody has to change.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You know, nothing stays the same. Everybody changes, and a
- 2:56Speaker 1: lot of these changes can be for the good, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: a lot of them are just they just come with time.
- 3:01Speaker 1: You know. Sometimes it's aging that changes us. But no
- 3:05Speaker 1: matter how old you get, you still have the ability
- 3:10Speaker 1: to improve as a person. You may not have the
- 3:14Speaker 1: foot speed you used to have. You may not be
- 3:18Speaker 1: as agile as you used to be. Your energy level
- 3:23Speaker 1: may not be what it used to be. Your desire
- 3:28Speaker 1: to do some of the things that you used to
- 3:30Speaker 1: do may be gone. The thing that doesn't have to
- 3:37Speaker 1: change and will not change is you. You have the
- 3:43Speaker 1: ability to continue to grow as a person, even when
- 3:49Speaker 1: far the time and nature has taken its course. We
- 3:55Speaker 1: were talking about everybody can change and everybody has the
- 4:06Speaker 1: right to reinvent themselves as they get older, and I
- 4:11Speaker 1: equated it to jumping out of an airplane. You know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: there are some people man who get to a certain
- 4:18Speaker 1: point in their life and they and they jump from
- 4:21Speaker 1: the airplane is now almost a stunt of some kind.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It's almost like they life then got out of control.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You ever seen somebody jump out of airplane and the
- 4:34Speaker 1: parachute don't open, and they lifestart and it seems like
- 4:37Speaker 1: they start spinning and tumbling and they can't get it together.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And I've seen some mid air rescues before. But then
- 4:43Speaker 1: there are times when you know when it hasn't worked.
- 4:46Speaker 1: You know, you jump out that airplane and and and
- 4:50Speaker 1: at first it's fun. I've never skydived before, but I
- 4:54Speaker 1: would imagine when you first jump out of an airplane
- 4:58Speaker 1: that they people describe it as a a sense of
- 5:01Speaker 1: being free. And it's exhilarating when you first jump out
- 5:05Speaker 1: the plane. But if you pull that cord and nothing happens.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I never happened to me, but I can only imagine
- 5:14Speaker 1: the panic that's got to set in, because no matter
- 5:18Speaker 1: how fun it was a moment ago, the flying over
- 5:22Speaker 1: to one another, the holding hands in the air, the breeze,
- 5:27Speaker 1: the descent of the feeling of all of a sudden,
- 5:32Speaker 1: if you reach for that cord and that's not there,
- 5:35Speaker 1: you're suddenly spinning out of control. And that's what happens
- 5:39Speaker 1: in a lot of people's lives. When you first start
- 5:42Speaker 1: your life, you jump out the plane. You're free, you're young,
- 5:45Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing to where about it. But then
- 5:47Speaker 1: you get to a certain point in your life when
- 5:48Speaker 1: you go, okay, I'm gonna pull the cord now. And
- 5:53Speaker 1: pulling the cord is an important thing because here's the
- 5:58Speaker 1: analogy my friend gave me. He said, man, use your
- 6:03Speaker 1: mind like a parachute. It works better when it's open. Well,
- 6:09Speaker 1: see what happens with a lot of people, is they
- 6:13Speaker 1: in life. They jump out the plane and and and
- 6:18Speaker 1: they and they having this free fall and it's fun
- 6:21Speaker 1: for now. But they get to a certain point in
- 6:24Speaker 1: their life where they got themselves in a situation, or
- 6:27Speaker 1: they've had a little bit too much fun a little
- 6:29Speaker 1: bit too long, or you know, they wasn't open to
- 6:32Speaker 1: nothing and they just did what they wanted to do,
- 6:34Speaker 1: or they started getting involved with drugs or drinking or
- 6:38Speaker 1: started running with the wrong people. So you jump out
- 6:40Speaker 1: the plane. The first you're free falling, is fun, but
- 6:43Speaker 1: then after a minute, man, something happens and they realize
- 6:46Speaker 1: whoa and they reach for the chord, and the chord
- 6:48Speaker 1: don't work. Well, now you're in a panic stricken situation.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And my suggesting is what I've learned from the analogy
- 6:55Speaker 1: that my friends shared with me, is that we all
- 6:58Speaker 1: the sooner we can open our mind to God, the
- 7:02Speaker 1: sooner we could develop that relationship with him. It's like
- 7:07Speaker 1: pulling the cord and opening a parachute. If you open
- 7:11Speaker 1: up your mind to God, God is like a parachute.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You know, God can slow your descent. God can turn
- 7:21Speaker 1: this out of control free fall into a nice ride
- 7:25Speaker 1: for you. See, that's what happened to me. I was
- 7:30Speaker 1: spinning out of control. I had gotten myself into a point. Man,
- 7:36Speaker 1: Why I wasn't doing real good? Oh, y'all would look
- 7:39Speaker 1: at me and think, man Stevie, man, Nam, I wasn't
- 7:44Speaker 1: doing real good. I had spun out of control. I was.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I was in a free fall, and I reached for
- 7:52Speaker 1: the court, but I was so far away the cord
- 7:55Speaker 1: didn't open. Then I went to him and I pulled
- 7:58Speaker 1: the cord. When I went to God, I pulled the
- 8:01Speaker 1: cord and open, and he slowed my descent. And this
- 8:05Speaker 1: is what I just believe. I don't believe now that
- 8:08Speaker 1: I aged as fast as I was aging, because I
- 8:12Speaker 1: got that parachute open. Now, you know, I take better
- 8:14Speaker 1: care of myself, eating, I work out more. Now you
- 8:17Speaker 1: know I'm not out of control. I have a direction
- 8:21Speaker 1: now that when then got up under that parachute a
- 8:25Speaker 1: little bit, you know, And now I'm I'm I'm going
- 8:28Speaker 1: you know, I'm still getting older, you know, so, but
- 8:31Speaker 1: the descent is so slow. Now I'm able to enjoy
- 8:34Speaker 1: the ride. I'm guiding my parachute over. Sometimes we go
- 8:38Speaker 1: over to to a vacation spot over here, we float
- 8:42Speaker 1: back over to it. But you know, I'm still getting old.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I'm still going down and but the descent because I've
- 8:49Speaker 1: opened my mind to God, the parachute has slowed my descent.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And now I'm rocking back and forth. But I ain't
- 8:58Speaker 1: spending out of control no more. You know, I'm able
- 9:00Speaker 1: to enjoy the view now. You know, when you jump
- 9:04Speaker 1: out that plane and you and you pull that cord
- 9:06Speaker 1: and it don't work, you ain't looking at the view
- 9:08Speaker 1: no more. You're thinking of only one thing. How can
- 9:11Speaker 1: I slow this down? When now I'm able to enjoy
- 9:13Speaker 1: the view. I'm able to see all the beautiful things
- 9:17Speaker 1: on the horizon that God has for me. I'm able
- 9:20Speaker 1: to see all the beautiful things around me that He's
- 9:23Speaker 1: provided for me over these years. Because I've slowed my descent.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I used my mind like a parachute. It works better
- 9:32Speaker 1: when it's open. Open your mind to God, and so
- 9:36Speaker 1: you can see the view, so you can slow the descent,
- 9:40Speaker 1: so you can stop the out of control freefall that
- 9:43Speaker 1: you've been on, that you can get your life together
- 9:46Speaker 1: and see everything out on the horizon that God has
- 9:49Speaker 1: for you. You know, it turned out to be a
- 9:51Speaker 1: very true statement your mind. If you use it like
- 9:54Speaker 1: a parachute, it works better when it's open. Y'all, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening show, ladies and gentlemen, let me have your undivided attention. Please,

- 22:51Speaker 1: hit up folks and try to get those girls come
- 22:54Speaker 1: to a panty party. A panty party. We have a
- 22:57Speaker 1: party once once every you know, once every it's a quarter.
- 23:00Speaker 1: We throw a party. So you know, keep up this
- 23:03Speaker 1: bullsh brother to me, the last party you throwing? Matter
- 23:07Speaker 1: with you calling me after the language? The language? Bro?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Hold on? Hold on. First of all, I didn't know
- 23:15Speaker 1: Breathe live with someone in nineteen Hey, I've never seen
- 23:18Speaker 1: anybody other than Breathe. Okay, yeah, because I worked my
- 23:21Speaker 1: ass off. Dog. Who are you Marcus? Okay? So so okay,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I'm Marcus. But let's just calm down. Like I said,
- 23:28Speaker 1: I'm trying to do is invite Breed to um, you know,
- 23:32Speaker 1: to a party. Now, Bree ain't coming to the penny party? Boy?
- 23:36Speaker 1: What the what the matter with you? Okay? So let's
- 23:39Speaker 1: let let me ask you this, sir. I called for
- 23:42Speaker 1: breath I don't know, yeah, and you got Gary. If
- 23:46Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know nothing about no Garry. Okay,
- 23:49Speaker 1: so Breed would have to let me know that that
- 23:52Speaker 1: she doesn't want to come to the party. But um,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I since I thought I had to write a number
- 23:57Speaker 1: for Brie, well I'll do is find out how to
- 24:00Speaker 1: get in touch with Breathe directly, because once again I
- 24:02Speaker 1: didn't know I was getting in contact with a Gary.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I thought I was get in touch with Breathe. Yeah. Yeah,
- 24:07Speaker 1: you're gonna be worth much to Breathe man when I
- 24:09Speaker 1: cut that golf, who for you to call me? That's
- 24:11Speaker 1: my girl, that's my girl. Okay, so it's your girl,
- 24:14Speaker 1: all right. But like I said, I didn't know she
- 24:16Speaker 1: had a boyfriend or anything. But that doesn't stop me
- 24:19Speaker 1: from asking Brief if she wants to come to the party. Yeah, well,
- 24:22Speaker 1: she ain't single. She's not single. The only the only
- 24:25Speaker 1: thing single in nineteen ah is that single barrel. That's
- 24:28Speaker 1: the only thing that single up in nineteen eight. Okay,
- 24:30Speaker 1: So let me answer this man. How long have you
- 24:32Speaker 1: Breathe been together? And I don't worry about what the
- 24:35Speaker 1: guy in with my girl? Who the are you? Hey?
- 24:37Speaker 1: I think I think Bree can make her own decision
- 24:40Speaker 1: or she want to come to the party. I just
- 24:42Speaker 1: called her directly. I just got the wrong number mixed up,
- 24:45Speaker 1: that's all it is. No, you got the right number, Marcus,
- 24:49Speaker 1: you got the You got the right number and the
- 24:51Speaker 1: wrong mother. So like you're trying to say, brief can't
- 24:54Speaker 1: make up her mind on the she want to come
- 24:55Speaker 1: to the party, and nine you can make up. She
- 24:58Speaker 1: can make up her mind if she wants to. I
- 24:59Speaker 1: think she has made it up, Marcus. I think she has. Well,
- 25:02Speaker 1: how do you know that? I haven't even asked her
- 25:04Speaker 1: to come to the Pandhi party? Hello? What do you want, Marcus?
- 25:08Speaker 1: What you really want? I won't breathe at the panting party.
- 25:12Speaker 1: That's why you won't. You can't have breathe at no
- 25:16Speaker 1: pandy party. That's mine. Listen, I'm not I'm at work
- 25:21Speaker 1: right now. Don't come in here with this boat. I've
- 25:23Speaker 1: been in that building for years. I've never heard no
- 25:25Speaker 1: pandy party before. Are you gonna ask her to come
- 25:28Speaker 1: to the panty party? Or do I need to ask
- 25:31Speaker 1: that Penny party, and you marcus my girl coming to
- 25:34Speaker 1: no damn panty party? All right, all right, I see
- 25:38Speaker 1: what I gotta do now. I gotta go to the
- 25:39Speaker 1: doorman and get Brihanna's get Breathe number. And I asked
- 25:43Speaker 1: her to come because you're not gonna pass on the message,
- 25:45Speaker 1: but I want her to have Let me let me
- 25:47Speaker 1: tell you something. You better not come to the doorman.
- 25:50Speaker 1: You better not come to nineteen eight. That's my girl.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Stay then away from her. Okay, okay, okay, all right, cool.
- 25:57Speaker 1: So I mean, I don't know what else is saying
- 26:00Speaker 1: parties in a few days, and I'm not gonna I'm
- 26:02Speaker 1: not gonna let up until I can at least give
- 26:04Speaker 1: Brie and I'm an invitation to come out to the
- 26:06Speaker 1: panty party. Your invitation, Brian coming up. The only mother
- 26:10Speaker 1: you can see there is me. So let me ask
- 26:13Speaker 1: you this, are you as saying the brief panties? Do
- 26:15Speaker 1: you not want her? You do not want us to
- 26:17Speaker 1: see her in the in the in her panties. I
- 26:19Speaker 1: mean what, we don't worry about me or my girl
- 26:24Speaker 1: or her pennies. You got me, you got me? Okay,
- 26:27Speaker 1: all right, man, I'm not if I wasn't never work.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I crossed mother, lucky you caught me at work. I
- 26:34Speaker 1: know you were at work. And because somebody told me
- 26:36Speaker 1: you were at work. You know who told me you
- 26:38Speaker 1: were at word? Gary could have told you that I
- 26:40Speaker 1: was at work. Mother. You know Bree told me you
- 26:43Speaker 1: were at work. This is a nephew time me from

- 27:58Speaker 1: one more question, man, what is the baddest, not mean,
- 28:00Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. That's the Steve
- 28:03Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Come over, I'll see that now. All right,
- 28:15Speaker 1: thank you of you coming up at the top entertainment
- 28:18Speaker 1: and national news. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 28:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Eric Trump is no longer
- 28:28Speaker 1: one of America's first sons, so guess what, he can't
- 28:31Speaker 1: fly on Air Force one anyway. The ex president's son, Eric,
- 28:36Speaker 1: his wife and kids all flew commercial on Delta in
- 28:40Speaker 1: what coach whoa whoa world. Yeah, I'll be back there. Yeah.
- 28:49Speaker 1: They were on a flight from Florida back to New York.
- 28:52Speaker 1: But they did get escorted to the plane by Secret Service.
- 28:55Speaker 1: They got on board and put their stuff in overhead
- 28:58Speaker 1: bins and Trumps they did mass Wow. They don't say
- 29:02Speaker 1: anything to the did they took a couple of selfies out? Yeah? Yeah,
- 29:11Speaker 1: what you say? It's over precious sit on that in Florida,
- 29:20Speaker 1: all right. So right now, though that's hard to go
- 29:23Speaker 1: from Air Force One all the way down the coach
- 29:28Speaker 1: off like that, how they get in first class? At
- 29:32Speaker 1: least get on the other side of that curtain. You
- 29:35Speaker 1: ask from Air Force one down the coach seat the
- 29:40Speaker 1: Secret Service, where were they in first class? Hey man?
- 29:45Speaker 1: But you know what that's equivalent to. That's like living
- 29:48Speaker 1: in the penthouse on Fifth Avenue and then living on
- 29:51Speaker 1: top of the liquor store on Wade Paul, Sorry for them, yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 1: and other entertainment news. According to People magazine, one lucky
- 30:06Speaker 1: winner will get We'll get to team up with Morgan Freeman. Okay,
- 30:14Speaker 1: you know you don't come on Freeman, you guys all right?
- 30:25Speaker 1: I love him? You know I love him. Uh. It's
- 30:29Speaker 1: the charity fundraiser site. Oh May's it's making that happen
- 30:33Speaker 1: with the contest to win a video call from Morgan Freeman. Okay,
- 30:39Speaker 1: you can win a video call from him. The winner
- 30:41Speaker 1: will then get to team with Morgan to prank a
- 30:44Speaker 1: loved one. As a bonus, you'll get an outgoing voicemail
- 30:49Speaker 1: message recorded by Morgan Freeman. The charity's benefitari style I
- 30:57Speaker 1: can do. Look that's who I like. The charity's benefiting
- 31:02Speaker 1: from the prank or the Tallahatchee River Foundation and the
- 31:06Speaker 1: ACLU ac LU Foundation. So cal don't you Why don't
- 31:13Speaker 1: you get into content. Don't think I haven't thought about it.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I mean how to voicemail and go time. Don't think
- 31:19Speaker 1: I haven't Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, Charity Strawberry. I
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm caller ID I knew I was you call it.

- 32:06Speaker 1: just got dranked by Morgan Freed. What what I just prank?
- 32:16Speaker 1: I like harmony. People are gonna be talking about, well,
- 32:18Speaker 1: where the hell is Tommy at dope, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 32:28Speaker 1: without further a dude, please welcome miss an trip. Okay,
- 32:32Speaker 1: good morning everybody there. This is a trip with the
- 32:34Speaker 1: news or. More than one hundred fifty people are facing
- 32:36Speaker 1: federal charges in connection with the Capitol Hill riot earlier
- 32:39Speaker 1: this month, dozens more face charges in Superior According prosecutors
- 32:43Speaker 1: are saying there'll be more suspects charges. You can expect that.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Acting US Attorney for Washington DC, Michael Sherwin says there's
- 32:50Speaker 1: some four hundred cases, as a matter of fact, are
- 32:52Speaker 1: open and under investigation right now, and the FBI and
- 32:54Speaker 1: local law enforcement have reportedly been collecting more and more
- 32:57Speaker 1: evidence every day, which includes stuff like when material from
- 33:00Speaker 1: grand jury subpoenas and even search warrants, so investigators could
- 33:03Speaker 1: possibly build more complex cases which would then involve much
- 33:07Speaker 1: more serious charges. Okay. One hundred senators were sworn in
- 33:11Speaker 1: yesterday for the Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump,
- 33:14Speaker 1: although the trial won't begin actually till the week of
- 33:16Speaker 1: February eighth. Actually it is the ninth, the Tuesday when
- 33:18Speaker 1: it is supposed to start. Trump is charged with a
- 33:20Speaker 1: single count incitement of insurrection, and that's for allegedly provoking
- 33:24Speaker 1: the Capitlohill riot. Seventeen Republicans would have to join Democrats
- 33:28Speaker 1: in order to convict Trump, however, and President Joe Biden
- 33:31Speaker 1: says he doubts that's going to happen. Meanwhile, it looks
- 33:33Speaker 1: like there's been a meeting of the minds between Senate
- 33:35Speaker 1: Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and the new Majority Leader, Chuck
- 33:39Speaker 1: Schumer about power sharing in the Senate session. I'm glad
- 33:42Speaker 1: we're finally able to get the Senate up and running.
- 33:44Speaker 1: My only regret is that it took so long, because
- 33:48Speaker 1: we have a great deal we need to accomplish over
- 33:50Speaker 1: the next several weeks and months. Governors across the nation, meanwhile,
- 33:54Speaker 1: are expressing frustration with the supply of COVID vaccine, saying
- 33:58Speaker 1: they can't keep up with the demand, and President Biden
- 34:01Speaker 1: says his administration is trying to catch up. Apparently there
- 34:04Speaker 1: wasn't enough, he says, ordered by the Trump administration, Mister
- 34:07Speaker 1: Biden says that the US has gotten commitments from vaccine
- 34:10Speaker 1: producers to make more serum as quickly as possible. Lay
- 34:14Speaker 1: this week, mister Biden will reportedly reopened the federal marketplaces
- 34:17Speaker 1: for buying health insurance under the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare,
- 34:20Speaker 1: and also lower the barriers that were set up by
- 34:23Speaker 1: President Trump to receiving medicaid. Yesterday, the President focused on
- 34:26Speaker 1: racial equity. Mister Biden says that the candidate he said
- 34:29Speaker 1: that racial justice would be one of the major problems
- 34:32Speaker 1: that he wanted to tackle, along with COVID nineteen, climate change,
- 34:35Speaker 1: and the economy. Today, as International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a
- 34:39Speaker 1: new report says that anti Semitica incidents in this country
- 34:42Speaker 1: continue to climb up by nearly one hundred and twenty
- 34:45Speaker 1: four percent between twenty fifteen and twenty nineteen. Jewish sadies
- 34:49Speaker 1: point to swassikas on street corners in California and Virginia,
- 34:52Speaker 1: the shooting of Jewish worshippers, and the chance of white
- 34:54Speaker 1: men carrying tiki tortures in Charlottesville, screaming the Jews won't
- 34:57Speaker 1: replace us. Apparently, one of the most looked up words
- 35:00Speaker 1: that year was lockdown. They even made songs about it.
- 35:06Speaker 1: The way she sings it makes it sound good, right,
- 35:08Speaker 1: lockdown Down. Back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 35:10Speaker 1: listening show. Are your neighbors asking you for more favors?
- 35:17Speaker 1: Because with the pandemic everybody is at home more? You
- 35:20Speaker 1: know that, So are your neighbors asking you to do
- 35:22Speaker 1: favors like um watch their kids, loan tools, pick up
- 35:26Speaker 1: or check to see if there's a package at the door.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Helped them move, help them carry things, helped them shovel snow. So, Steve,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I gotta ask you this, what was the worst or
- 35:37Speaker 1: what was the best neighbor you ever had? Wow? But
- 35:44Speaker 1: I guess I guess the best neighbor over head was
- 35:47Speaker 1: when I lived in Cleveland on Hunting twelve Street. Mister Cook,
- 35:50Speaker 1: next dope, Mister Cook was the best neighbor over Heady
- 35:54Speaker 1: Bobby Q. Usually let me come over and taste it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: You know that nice? Where I live now, I ain't
- 36:01Speaker 1: even seen no neighbors. I don't know where they at.
- 36:04Speaker 1: You don't know your neighbors. Why not? Well let me
- 36:07Speaker 1: tell you why. I don't know how they know the neighbors. Yeah,
- 36:13Speaker 1: because the next neighbor is a mile and a half.
- 36:18Speaker 1: It's when you got that minute acres, that stretch. He
- 36:24Speaker 1: can't see the next house. Girl, plead, I just don't
- 36:30Speaker 1: think I live in a neighborhood where neighbors, you know,
- 36:34Speaker 1: having neighborly relationship is like really open and welcome. It's
- 36:38Speaker 1: not that type you know. You know, ain't no sidewalk,
- 36:40Speaker 1: you can't walk down, let none of that. So call it.
- 36:45Speaker 1: They don't have h o a where he lived. Okay,
- 36:48Speaker 1: ain't ain't none of that. They don't have that. No,
- 36:54Speaker 1: ain't no, can he do something? Ain't none of that.
- 36:57Speaker 1: They'll have neighbor who watch where he lives. Neighborhood he
- 37:02Speaker 1: got neighborhood, No not people that own these houses in
- 37:05Speaker 1: his neighborhood. All their staffs get together and they meet.
- 37:09Speaker 1: But there ain't no h O eight ain't know. We're
- 37:12Speaker 1: fena talk about these streets like yeah, I know. Wow.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Do you all know how Tommy knows all of this?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Because because Tommy lives in the chateau and when you
- 37:33Speaker 1: live in the chateau. Yeah, now okay, things like this,
- 37:38Speaker 1: you know, you know all this type stuff. See, he
- 37:41Speaker 1: knows how I'm living because he right there. Oh god,
- 37:45Speaker 1: you knows I have. I've been talking. I know something.
- 37:51Speaker 1: I ain't been over there? Who who is? What's his name? Pierre?
- 37:56Speaker 1: I know one? Yeah the hell you know? Got a
- 38:02Speaker 1: damn neighbor name? Pierre. I'm saying, is he French? Name?
- 38:16Speaker 1: My neighbors and Bill all right, listen coming up At
- 38:23Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, a quick round of
- 38:26Speaker 1: asked the CLO. Right after this, Pierre, you're listening to
- 38:32Speaker 1: show all right? Time now for a quick round of
- 38:36Speaker 1: asked the CLO. The Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey is
- 38:40Speaker 1: in the building. Steve, you're ready. This one is from
- 38:46Speaker 1: Domino in Las Vegas. Domino says, I'm a twenty eight
- 38:50Speaker 1: year old single female and I'm engaged to be married,
- 38:54Speaker 1: but my fiance's mother doesn't like me. His mom and
- 38:57Speaker 1: my mom went to high school together, and his mom
- 38:59Speaker 1: said my mother was popular and referred to her as
- 39:02Speaker 1: a mean girl. My mom is a little bougie, okay,
- 39:05Speaker 1: but that has nothing to do with me. I'm nothing
- 39:08Speaker 1: like my mom, but I'm a respectable young woman. I
- 39:11Speaker 1: don't want to live the rest of my life with
- 39:13Speaker 1: a man who can't persuade his mom to stop holding grudges.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Is there any way to get through to her. It's
- 39:19Speaker 1: your mama, dog now now now, it ain't nothing you
- 39:25Speaker 1: can do. Something happened between her and and his mama.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Something happened between your mama and his mama back in school.
- 39:36Speaker 1: Something DA ain't talking about it. She mistreated. I think
- 39:41Speaker 1: your mama probably saying something bushi to or talk down
- 39:45Speaker 1: to her to the boy's mama, and he ain't forgot it,
- 39:47Speaker 1: and she taking it out on you. That's all it is,
- 39:51Speaker 1: and we can't help you on this show with that. Okay,
- 39:57Speaker 1: See you can't get through to her to his oh mom?
- 40:02Speaker 1: All right? Moving on w D and Baltimore says, I've
- 40:07Speaker 1: been working for over thirty five years and I'm past
- 40:10Speaker 1: a retirement age, but I can't leave my job because
- 40:14Speaker 1: it covers up my double life. My hours were reduced
- 40:18Speaker 1: four years ago, so now i work eight am till noon,
- 40:22Speaker 1: and then I'm off to my girlfriend's house to relax
- 40:25Speaker 1: until it's time to head home around six pm. Wow,
- 40:29Speaker 1: my company is forcing me to fully retire in June.
- 40:33Speaker 1: I knew you'd like this, Tommy, and I'd be sick
- 40:37Speaker 1: over it. I've been sick over it. I've been married
- 40:39Speaker 1: twenty six years and I would never leave my wife.
- 40:42Speaker 1: But I'm sure she suspects something. Should I be honest
- 40:46Speaker 1: with her and hope for the best. Well, listen to
- 40:51Speaker 1: this man. I don't know how you didn't fake it
- 40:55Speaker 1: this long cause you work in half a date. I'm
- 40:58Speaker 1: pretty sure they're not giving you a whole check. So
- 41:01Speaker 1: these years that you've been working half a day getting
- 41:04Speaker 1: that half a check, I guess your wife ain't say
- 41:07Speaker 1: nothing about that. All I can tell you, dog, is
- 41:09Speaker 1: when they fully make you retire, I think then you
- 41:13Speaker 1: can act like you've been at work and just go
- 41:15Speaker 1: over that all damn day. Just stay over there from
- 41:19Speaker 1: eight to five. What happened when though Tommy, he's not
- 41:27Speaker 1: divorcing his wife, but he's not gonna leave his girlfriend. See,
- 41:32Speaker 1: he's not looking for a solution. He talking about shit.
- 41:36Speaker 1: He come clean, fool? What the dog? Dog? Dog? What
- 41:44Speaker 1: are you fitting walking there and say to your wife?
- 41:47Speaker 1: That's gonna sound anything like, oh oh oh, that's what
- 41:51Speaker 1: you've been doing. Oh okay, you're gonna mess around and
- 41:53Speaker 1: get killed? Ki l what he kilt? How would he say,
- 41:58Speaker 1: Steve if he did say, hey baby, hey baby, look
- 42:05Speaker 1: can we talk? Um? You got a minute? Um? Hey,
- 42:12Speaker 1: you remember when UM don't know how I can say
- 42:16Speaker 1: this here? You remember when I told you that we
- 42:20Speaker 1: we weren't gonna hand no lights on for a while,
- 42:22Speaker 1: and we had to cut back on grocery shopping instead
- 42:25Speaker 1: of going every sad day. Remember, we had to just
- 42:27Speaker 1: start going, you know, two sad days out the month
- 42:30Speaker 1: instead of every Saturday. Um. You remember that. You remember
- 42:35Speaker 1: when I you? Yeah? You you remember when I told

- 45:12Speaker 1: trying to get her We've done so she can be

- 48:06Speaker 1: kind of damn hairstyle. You just a short hair style
- 48:09Speaker 1: that don't make no damn sense. Well, that's what the
- 48:11Speaker 1: specialized me as a matter of fact, on damn good
- 48:14Speaker 1: at it for around. If you you research me, you've
- 48:19Speaker 1: already done your damn research on a round. Google me,
- 48:24Speaker 1: that's what you do. Google me. I'm a bed. Can't
- 48:29Speaker 1: hear you what I tell I. Let me say this,

- 48:47Speaker 1: Oh do you think you're talking? Shoe? You listen to me,
- 48:52Speaker 1: I'm so time of your pocket. If you don't went

- 49:13Speaker 1: And then your bell? She gotta requested to self, what's

- 52:45Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Subject my husband is a thug and a prominent pastor. Okay,
- 52:54Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for seven years. I'm
- 52:57Speaker 1: forty three and my husband is thirty eight. But he
- 53:00Speaker 1: acts like the world owes him something and always has
- 53:03Speaker 1: a chip on his shoulder. He is argumentative and I
- 53:07Speaker 1: want to be thug. He grew up in a rough
- 53:10Speaker 1: area and he had to make it out of a
- 53:12Speaker 1: hood on his own, but he won't acknowledge that he's
- 53:14Speaker 1: in a much better place spiritually and financially now. He
- 53:18Speaker 1: will preach a good sermon on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday.
- 53:22Speaker 1: He curses, drinks, and he's a womanizing thug. He curses
- 53:27Speaker 1: like a sailor, and he loves to brag about fighting
- 53:30Speaker 1: and who's behind. He could whoop if he had the chance.
- 53:33Speaker 1: He's cheated on me twice. The second time it happened,
- 53:37Speaker 1: I checked out of the marriage. I would love to
- 53:40Speaker 1: divorce him, but I can't because he is my sole
- 53:44Speaker 1: source of income. I got laid off in April of
- 53:47Speaker 1: last year, and I'm having a hard time finding a
- 53:50Speaker 1: full time job. He stands in the pulpit on Sundays
- 53:54Speaker 1: while I sit amongst the two or more women he
- 53:56Speaker 1: slept with at the church. A few Sundays ago, a
- 54:00Speaker 1: female church member approached me and said my husband made
- 54:03Speaker 1: inappropriate remarks to her. I told her that she should
- 54:06Speaker 1: tell her husband. A couple of days later, my husband
- 54:09Speaker 1: came home and said he got into a verbal altercation
- 54:12Speaker 1: with the lady's husband, and I acted surprised. My husband
- 54:16Speaker 1: was flustered and embarrassed. I'm thinking all of the men
- 54:20Speaker 1: in the church need to know what he's up to.
- 54:22Speaker 1: The two church members he slept with are married, and
- 54:25Speaker 1: I think their husband should know what my husband has
- 54:28Speaker 1: been doing. Should I start a war at the church
- 54:31Speaker 1: or leave vengeance up to the Lord? Well, I'll say no, definitely,
- 54:35Speaker 1: don't start a war at the church. And the first lady,
- 54:38Speaker 1: you know, the Bible does say vengeance is mine. You
- 54:41Speaker 1: know that vengeance's mind saith the Lord, so you already
- 54:45Speaker 1: know the answer to that. The question is what are
- 54:48Speaker 1: you going to do? I mean, I'm trying to figure
- 54:51Speaker 1: out how you're still with him. He's a hypocrite. He's
- 54:55Speaker 1: supposed to be a changed man, and you know all
- 54:58Speaker 1: of that practice what he preaches every Sunday. And you know,
- 55:01Speaker 1: of course, I'm not saying that he should be perfect,
- 55:04Speaker 1: because you know he's still a man of course, but
- 55:08Speaker 1: nothing in the letter says that he's a man of
- 55:10Speaker 1: God except for that he goes Sunday and preaches and
- 55:14Speaker 1: preaches a good sermon. But after that money through Saturday,
- 55:18Speaker 1: you know he's all in this thug life or whatever
- 55:21Speaker 1: he's been trying to do. You say, he's a womanizing thug,
- 55:27Speaker 1: but then you're dependent upon him financially, so that makes
- 55:30Speaker 1: it hard for you to leave. He's a cheater. You've
- 55:33Speaker 1: been humiliated every Sunday when you see these women's faces
- 55:37Speaker 1: your man is sexually harassing women at the church, and
- 55:40Speaker 1: it just wrong. He's just wrong on every level. I mean,
- 55:44Speaker 1: you can't change him. But I guess, you know, I
- 55:49Speaker 1: guess you should be planning your escape. I mean I
- 55:52Speaker 1: say escape because you got to get away from him
- 55:54Speaker 1: at least for a little while. You gotta do something.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I mean, he's not showing any signs of stopping, not
- 56:00Speaker 1: showing any signs of remorse or anything, and he's being
- 56:03Speaker 1: very disrespectful and self destructive, you know, really trying not to.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I do ask you this, Try not to make any
- 56:11Speaker 1: emotional decisions like telling the husbands. You know, like you
- 56:15Speaker 1: said at the end of the letter, let God handle that.
- 56:18Speaker 1: You just continue to look for a job because you
- 56:22Speaker 1: know something's going to give eventually. See if you have
- 56:24Speaker 1: any friends or family members you can trust that maybe
- 56:26Speaker 1: can help you. And in the meantime, maybe you could
- 56:29Speaker 1: suggest counseling. I doubt if he'll go, maybe you can
- 56:33Speaker 1: suggest that. But definitely you have to change your situation,
- 56:37Speaker 1: your pattern, what you're doing, so to start saving up
- 56:40Speaker 1: if you can, you know, get a little part time
- 56:44Speaker 1: job or something you're looking for full time, but you've
- 56:46Speaker 1: got to get out of there, because this is not healthy,
- 56:50Speaker 1: especially for you, Steve. You know this letter right here,
- 56:55Speaker 1: it starts off as a major conflict, just the subject.
- 57:01Speaker 1: My husband is a thug and a prominent pastor. What Okay,
- 57:08Speaker 1: let's just deal with that. He's a pastor part because
- 57:11Speaker 1: he's really not a thug. He's really really not He's
- 57:14Speaker 1: nothing in this letter he does is thuggish. I'm just
- 57:17Speaker 1: but we but he's supposed to be a pastor, So
- 57:20Speaker 1: let's get with the conflict right away. He acts like
- 57:24Speaker 1: the world ohs. And first of all, you took forty
- 57:26Speaker 1: three and he thirty eight. What did he say to
- 57:28Speaker 1: you to get you in the first place? I don't
- 57:30Speaker 1: even understand this here, but that ain't what the letters about.
- 57:34Speaker 1: But let me show you the conflict of him being
- 57:37Speaker 1: a prominent pastor. The first thing, he acts like the
- 57:40Speaker 1: world owes him something. Here's another one. He always has
- 57:45Speaker 1: a chip on his show. Here's another one. He's argumented.
- 57:51Speaker 1: And last but not least, he's a wanna be thug.
- 57:55Speaker 1: How to hell did he get to be the pastor?
- 57:59Speaker 1: I mean, just these four qualities right in here. How
- 58:03Speaker 1: did he become a prominent pastor? He grew up in
- 58:07Speaker 1: the world in the rough air, had to make it
- 58:09Speaker 1: out the hood on his own. How many you know,
- 58:11Speaker 1: how many of us got that story free on this show,
- 58:14Speaker 1: on this show, that damn to everybody I know, that's
- 58:20Speaker 1: anything damn near got that story. Every hell all us
- 58:24Speaker 1: on this show got that story. So what is he
- 58:27Speaker 1: talking about? He don't acknowledge that he's in a much
- 58:31Speaker 1: better place spiritually. What I can't tell? I'm just let
- 58:37Speaker 1: it just too much for all? Right, here we go.
- 58:40Speaker 1: He will preach a good sermon on Sunday Bowl Monday through.
- 58:44Speaker 1: He cusses, he drinks, and he's a womanizing thug. Okay, now,
- 58:51Speaker 1: let's let's let's go back. He's your husband and you're
- 58:55Speaker 1: putting up with the cussing, the drinking, and womanizer. He's
- 59:00Speaker 1: just like a sailor, loves a brag about fighting, hold
- 59:02Speaker 1: on and who's behind he could hope if he had
- 59:04Speaker 1: a chance. We'll have part two of Steve's response twenty
- 59:09Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour subject my husband is a
- 59:13Speaker 1: thug and a prominent pastor. We'll get back into it
- 59:15Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 59:20Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter, the subject, My husband is
- 59:24Speaker 1: a thug and a prominent pastor. All right, the prominent
- 59:29Speaker 1: pastor has these following quality the world. Oh he acts
- 59:33Speaker 1: like the world. Oh him something. He always got a
- 59:35Speaker 1: chip on his shoulder. He's argumented and he's a wonner.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Be thug. You're married to him. He worked his way
- 59:41Speaker 1: out the hood, but he won't acknowledge that he's in
- 59:43Speaker 1: a better place because he wants to hold up this
- 59:46Speaker 1: little thug mentality for some dumb ass reason. He'll preach
- 59:50Speaker 1: a good sermon on Sunday, but Monday through Saturday he cusses, drinks,
- 59:55Speaker 1: and he's a womanizing thug. So he has a lot
- 59:59Speaker 1: of women. And obviously you know this because is like
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: a sailor. He loves a brag about fighting and who's behind.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: He could whoop if he had a chance. You always
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: got the chance to jump on somebody. If that opportunity
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: is available twenty four seven, you're just going over there
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: and start to fight, if that's what you want to do.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: He just talking, He running his damn mouf. He whooping
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: nobody ass. But this dude right here is worse than that.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Now you said he's cheated on me twice. The second
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: time it happened, you checked out the marriage. Then you
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: say I would love to divorce him, but I can't
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: because he's my sole source of income. Okay, now we
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: have to deal with this part for a second. So
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I understand that. I mean, look, don't don't think I don't.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: So I got it. You You ain't got no means
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: of taking care of yourself and everything. I get it.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I'm not naive to that. But now let's go with
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: what you have to swallow to have this roof over
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: your head and cartage dry. He acts like the world
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: owe him something. He's argumented, got a chip on his shoulder.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: He's sleeping with women at the church. You know about it,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: And you got to deal with all that if you
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: want to keep having the key to that house. I
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: just I don't. Is it worth it? Is it worth it?
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: You know? I would love to divorce him, but I
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: can't because he's my sole source. Synfig I got laid
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: off in April last year, having a hard time finding
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: a full time job. He stands in the poor pits
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: on Sundays while I sit amongst the two or more
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: women he slept with at the church. Who you. You're
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: a bad girl. You you you're a bad girl. Man.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You use a bad girl, and you gotta swallow a lot. Look,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I don't know where your relatives at. I don't know
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: who you could move in with temporarily. I don't know
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: if you think you're walking away from something leaving it
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: to somebody else. But you ain't got nothing though. I mean,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: he's doggish, man, This dude is doggish, but he're the
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: one that got it. A few sundays ago, female church
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: member approached me and said, my husband made an inappropriate
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: remark to her. You told her you should tell her husband.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: A couple of days later, my husband came home, said
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: he got into a verbal altercation with the lady's husband
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and acted surprised what happened. All that ass whipping. He
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: was gonna die, remember that? Remember that. You know, if
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: you really wanted to whip somebody ass I this was
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: a perfect opportunity. Dude up in your face, accusing you
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: of something, you probably gonna act like you didn't do.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: So you're gonna act like you didn't say it. You
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: got to because you're the pastor because you can't admit it,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: because you know if you admit you did what you said,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you know this dude gonna light into you. So your
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: little husband is a little coward. Now my husband was
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: flustered and embarrassed once again. What happened to this ass
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: whoopen he'd been wanting to do? See the man approach you?
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Now you flustered in the back. Where is all these
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: ass a man? When you come on? Give me one?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Come on, Jack Johnson, show me something. All right, I'm
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: thinking of all the men in the church and that
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: need to know what he's up to. The two church
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: members he slept with, a married and I think that
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: husband should know what my husband has been doing. Okay,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: now your husband has been talking about whipping a lot
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of people's behind. But if you go to these women,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: husband and telling this hen he showed gonna be involved
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: as ass what was then? And he ain't gonna on't
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: neither one of them. But they're gonna do something to
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: your husband, see you, They're gonna do something to him. Man.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: So I agree with Shirley. I don't think you should
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: say it to them. I think the bigger problem for
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you is what you're gonna do. I think that's the
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: bigger problem. I think your situation. You should start focusing
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: on you. You've already checked out the marriage. It ain't
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: much of a marriage. What you're willing to lose you
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: don't have. You don't have no cause. He's disrespectful, he's misleading,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: he's overbearing, he's the bully poor pit, he's abusive to you.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: He treats you any kind of a way. And if
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I were you, I would just find a way to
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: remove myself from that situation. All you got to do
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: is gone about your business. You ain't. You ain't got
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to do nothing. You can't stand in the poor pit
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: claim to be God's man and be doing what you want.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: You might be getting away with it to them people,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: but you ain't getting away from God. You can walk
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: away from this, Go set yourself up, Go stay at
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: relative's house. Get out of that situation, because the London
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Bridge is falling down. All right? Post your comments. Thank

- 1:05:46Speaker 1: that girl there. Let me tell you something. I watched
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: it by twenty times. This girl was cold. Yeah, it
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: was all about our culture. We all have seen the
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: viral video on social media where this young lady Nia
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Dennis did her routine to music by Kenji Lamar and
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Missus Elliott Tupac and she also saluted to the Greek
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: fraternities and sororities. I just thought it was absolutely awesome.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I've seen it by ten times. Man, this girl is
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: gonna be the next gold medalist for you have to
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: see this girl. Maybe she is the next gold medalist
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: for us. I'm telling you she was deaf phenomenal man.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: And I mean just her routine alone. Though, when you
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: say this routine, you'd be like, oh yeah, once you
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: see is your word. Oh yeah, she got it. It's over,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: it's old. But it's just so proud watching her. Yeah,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: just saluting black culture and black pride. And you could
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: just tell she was just proud to be a black
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: woman at you see LA though. Yeah. Yeah, And we
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: got to talk about her talent. Wasn't that Gramley, No
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: you see that late? They didn't know sound great, let
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: me yeah, but let me straighten your town. And I
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: wasn't saying that in a negative way about Gramling. I'm
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: saying she did this in a platform where you normally
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: don't see it. You dun't school like UCLA or something
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: like that. No, no, yeah, it was a gymnastic competition
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and they beat out her team beat out Arizona State.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Uh yeah. Their gymnastic team at UCLA is a very
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: good gymnastic team full of talented tumbling. Yeah, she's so talented.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Her templing is it was it was, It was crazy.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: It was now switching gears now and other sports news.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Days after the UFC lightweight uh dustin Port beat Connor McGregor.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: McGregor just woke up. We just heard word. He just
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: woke up yesterday he said he want a rematch. He
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: just woke up and the first that I hit my
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: world when everybody was gone, lights was out. He didn't
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: want to rematch. Of course, when you get your ass hoop,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: everybody want to fight again. Because we was all watching,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: we saw it. I don't suggest it, Connor, I don't
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: really suggest it. I just think just take that ass
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: hoop and then move on. They's just five pick a
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: key in or somebody who show. All right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: some more trending news for you right after this. You're
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show and trending COVID
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: nineteen news. President Joe Biden just like the sound of that.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: President Joe Biden is working hard in his first one
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: hundred days. According to CNN, yesterday, the president announced a
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: measure aimed at ramping up coronavirus vaccine allocation and distribution,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: including the purchase of two hundred million more vaccine doses.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: With those additional doses, the president said there would be
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: enough to fully vaccinate three hundred million Americans, which is
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: the entire population by the end of summer and early fall. Wow,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: he's on it. Yeah, you gotta get that done. Yeah,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you know, I did some research. I was trying to
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: figure out how much the vaccine costs. This is just
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: on the internet. The Fiser price and the Maderna price
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: is two different prices. Now they don't cost you to
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: get the vaccination, but how much Fiser and Maderna is
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: making off this vascination is unbelievable money per dose. There's
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: nineteen dollars and some sent one of them is high.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I can't remember which one it is, but on the internet,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I just looked it up. Each dose is nineteen dollars,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: about twenty You gotta get two doses or that's forty
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: dollars a person. Yeah, three hundred million times forty dollars.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Do the man? Yeah, yeah, Weller is making some money.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: I think Madernas is more expensive. Now they have one
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: that is a one shot dose. Haven't figured out what
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Johnson and they've also said that this new strain of
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: coronavirus that's in South Africa, they're now saying that it
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: does work against that strain. I just read that today. Yeah,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: so you know there's a lot going on. But yeah,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: and another COVID new Steve doctor Foulci says that wearing
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: two masks is better than once. When I asked whether
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: the practice of double masking offers more protection, the White
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: House Advisor said, doctor Foulci said it likely does. During
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: an interview on The Today Show Monday, uh Foulci said,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: so if you have a physical covering with one layer,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you put another layer on, it just may common sense
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: that it likely would be more effective. That's the reason
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: now you're seeing people uh better either doubling up their
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: masks or doing version. I'm just gonna say this about it, Shirley,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: and I'm not trying to be contrary or anything like that.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: I'm just wearing one. Damn man. I'm too hard to breathe. Man. Yeah, man,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: there's no way I could put another damn mask on,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: because now we're talking about we don't even I'm not
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: wouldn't even be worried about COVID. Then I'm wearing about
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: killing myself and just mask. It's hard. But I wore
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: two masses past weekend when I went to Dallas that
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I was hot. Yeah, but I have the thing you
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: get hot when when, especially around crowd. You're gonna be
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: around a crowd, you know, try to up. He talked
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: about too man, but when foul he said it. Hein't
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: had no mask on. I'm not wearing too eat. I'm
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: witch it's too hot, but you ain't doctor it's too
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you another thing too. Let me
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: tell you something. We got big ass lips. No more
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you can't tell you. Yeah, I didn't stretch my mask
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: out to the point where you can't even it's it's
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: snow more fabric to be stretched. Yeah, Yeah, I'm with
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: you when you're right mask. I don't man, he chained rule. Yeah,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I never get my drive through order right with one mask.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: High in the hell, I'm gonna he'll never get you
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: right with one. I'm gonna wear the mask though, I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: just I ain't fitna wear I'm sorry to wear the mask.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: You gotta wear it, you gotta wear it. Yeah, but
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: some people are wearing double masks. They're trying to Pete
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Boodha Judge is one they were seeing. He was seen
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: at the inauguration wearing two and Amanda Gorman, America's poet
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: laureate wore two masks. So it's catching on slowly but surely.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: So we'll see, well in a crowded I mean, you know,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: like when you're a crowded situation. I get it, but
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I ain't you going to be around that movie? Yeah.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: More of today's trending stories on the Steve Every Morning

- 1:15:27Speaker 1: His mom and my mom went to high school together,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: and his mom said my mother was popular and referred
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: to her as a mean girl. My mom is a
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: little bougie, okay, but that has nothing to do with me.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: I'm nothing like my mom, but I'm a respectable young woman.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I don't want to live the rest of my life
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: with a man who can't persuade his mom to stop
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: holding grudges. Is there any way to get through to her?
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: It's your mama, dog, now, ain't done you can do.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Something happened between her and his mama. Something happened between
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: your mama and his mama back in school. Something Dane
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: talking about it. She mistreated. I think your mam wall
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: probably saying something boos you to or talk down to

- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Moving on w D and Baltimore says, I've been working
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: for over thirty five years and I'm past a retirement age,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: but I can't leave my job because it covers up
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: my double life. My hours were reduced four years ago,
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: so now i work eight am till noon, and then
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I'm off to my girlfriend's house to relax until it's
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: time to head home around six pm. Wow, my company
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: is forcing me to fully retire in June. I knew
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: you'd like this, Tommy, and I'd be sick over it.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: I've been sick over it. I've been married twenty six
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: years and I would never leave my wife. But I'm
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: sure she suspects something. Should I be honest with her
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: and hope for the best. Listen to this man, I
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: don't know how you didn't fake it this long because
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: you're working half a day. I'm pretty sure they're not
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: giving you a whole check. So these years that you've
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: been working half a day getting that half a check,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: I guess your wife ain't saying nothing about that. All
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I can tell you, dog is when they fully make
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: you retire, I think then you can act like you've
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: been at work, and just go over there all damn day.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Just stay over there from eight to five. What happened
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: when Tommy he's not divorcing his wife, but he's not
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: gonna leave his girl for years. See, he's not looking
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: for a solution. He talking about shit. He come clean, fool?
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: What what dog? Dog? What are you fitting walking there
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: and say to your wife that's gonna sound anything like,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: oh oh oh, that's what you've been doing. Oh okay,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around and get killed kil killed. Coming up,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: it's our last break of the day, and of course
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after the hour right
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: after this you're listening show, All right, here we go,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: last break of the day, last break of the day
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: on this Wednesday. And it's been a good day, good day. Yes,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: you know what, don't I don't want to keep harping
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: on this story. What story? So the whole thing about
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: the coconut milk and coconut water, isn't it not two
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: my favorite day of coconut water out of Costco, which
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: is where I wouldn't getting it from nohow. But they
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: didn't took it out because they didn't found out that
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: they had had some forced monkey labor. What this forced
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: monkey labor? Who came up with that damn turn? It was?
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: We just killed no silly. They make me sick. He
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: makes me sick. They care mobiut animals than they do people.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Black lives matter. We got to get shot in the
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: streets and all this to try to get some attention.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: But make a monkey climber damn tree or hell. Now,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: we gotta stop all this tree climbing. Now, you the
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: monkeys was over that resting and watching TV. They got
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: to go to school in the morning. And you're sending
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: that monkey up that tree. Get your ass up that
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: tree and get all them down cooking outside of there. Yeah,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: you're singing in a funny way. But it's really true.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: I mean it's it's it's really serious what you're saying.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: I don't give a damn with Peter, don't think it's funny,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, don't give a damn. Say never, monkeys up
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: down and get them damn coconuts down here so we
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: can get this coconut milk forced monkey label. We call
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: this slavery. Yeah, force people labors call slavery. Now all
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: of a sudden, you mad, cause the damn monkeys got
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to do something him. The monkey is getting fed. Look hill,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Look hill. All the monkeys got some weather stay, they
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: get fed. They probably get you. Probably eat all the
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: coconuts you can bring down, you know, if you you know,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: if you bring down ten coconuts, probably get to eat one.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: I don't know what the situation is, but I'd be
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: damned if we got to stop drinking coconut milk. Yeah,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: because it's a forced monkey label. I bet if they
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: were sending people up there, they wouldn't even open they
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: damn mouth. Right. Where are the people for the ethical
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: treatment of people? Yeah? Come on, this is crazy? Yes
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: is Yeah? What else is the monkeys doing? They did,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: but they didn't ask for that job? Man, Okay, but
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: they let me tell you something. You can't make them
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: go up the damn tree. Monkets go up there to
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: get cocon up. See. I bet you, I bet you,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. How you think man
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: got their first banana? Probably saw monkey eating one? And
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: you think made friends with the money. Okay, I'm gonna
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: take exactly how they did. They did it like they
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: did America. They were sitting over there, they were started.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: A monkey was sitting up in a tree eating a banana.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: They called the monkey down and made friends with the monkey.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Then they ate the monkeys bananas, and then they told
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: the monkey to go up there and get him some
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: more bananas. And they're time. The monkey went up there
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: and got him banana. They had them come back down
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: and they took all the bananas from the monkeys. And
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: then they told the monkeys, this is our jungle, and
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I treat that you can't go up that unless you
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: check it up. This sound familiar, You just sound like
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: something that happened. Sound like how America came about to me. Now,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: all of a sudden, they're all over in Thailand or whoever,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: finding all the damn monkeys they want to take sides with,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: not not monkey rights, a monkey march, now though it
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: really is. This is crazy, man. I'm just really and
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: I don't give a damn, but I don't care numb
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: about what Peter say about me. Look this president, we
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: had set up there and told some people at a
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: podium to cat ass down to the Capitol and go
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: down there and and you. We gotta be combat ready.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: That was Giuliano made that and we cannot show weakness.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: The president said that y'all won't impeach his ass, but
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you want to take all the down coconut water off
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: to shell. How some monkeys had to go up theren
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: against they damn wheel and get it. Man, this country
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: canney miss me with the way they beat man the
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: stuff they take a side on it be so damned ignorant.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: And don't email me text me about what I said
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: about Peter, because I promise you I don't give a
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: damn until you start caring about people more than you
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: care about animals. Look, I'm for the ethical treatment of animals,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: but I'm for the ethical treatment of people. I have
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: a pen. I always treat animals good. I don't believe
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: in abusing animals. But damn you didn't pull them out
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: the stores just like that Costco and target all people
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: that ran into the damn capitol. That was Trump fans.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Who the ass that I want all the ass locked
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: up in prison? They ain't got tired of you say much?
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: No perform for tours. That's hey, that's a good ass
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: work right there. That's called the organ grinder. He got
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: the little cap on making money and everything. Some of
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: the monkeys that's say, that's stay entry level into show business.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: That show business to you don't know, You don't know,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: you don't know how long I Mucky have been waiting
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: on this opportunity. This could have been an opportunity of
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: life with the organ grinder. Just in my shot into
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: the big lights. I'm going to Hollywood, damn news, I'm
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: going to Broadway, Thailand. Monkey on Broadway, don't stop me.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Let your monkey's gonna take the shot. Munkey had been
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: waiting on this chance his whole lights and here you asked,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: stopped him from climbing and dancing up in the tree.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Oh man, I'm gonna go over there and get the
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: same damn markets and go up in that tree and
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: get up. And I'm gonna call it mucking milk, and
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I'm billions of dollars on it. I'm setting fucking milk.
