- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out, got to turn out to turn the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water the water. Y'all. Come, come on your baby, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: show where a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now one it only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. I have something and it so
- 2:14Speaker 1: describes how I was living. It's so captures the feelings
- 2:20Speaker 1: that I had about beginning on the pathway of my dreams.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It so describes how I felt when I was about
- 2:30Speaker 1: to attempt something. And I have some striking news for you.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It describes often how I feel still today to a degree.
- 2:40Speaker 1: So let me tell you what that is. Here's an
- 2:43Speaker 1: analogy that I've heard a couple of different ways, but
- 2:48Speaker 1: I've kind of, you know, fixed it around to where
- 2:50Speaker 1: I can drink it better, and I think it fits
- 2:54Speaker 1: my personality to describe it to people best this way.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I've talked often about the Earth Agency of doing something
- 3:02Speaker 1: with your life, of getting started today, of stopping the
- 3:07Speaker 1: procrastination and putting it off, and waiting on all your
- 3:10Speaker 1: ducks to line up in a row, and waiting till
- 3:13Speaker 1: the stars aligned themselves. If you ain't on such a thing,
- 3:17Speaker 1: you're never gonna get started. I don't know too many
- 3:20Speaker 1: people who can say that all the ducks just lined
- 3:23Speaker 1: up in a row. Things happen. Even when you get
- 3:26Speaker 1: them lined up. One of the ducks get out of line,
- 3:29Speaker 1: or somebody knock over the domino, or something happens. But
- 3:32Speaker 1: here's the point I'm getting at. God has so many
- 3:38Speaker 1: blessings available to you. You who's listening. God has so
- 3:46Speaker 1: many blessings available to you from where you are right now.
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't care what you've gotten yourself into or what
- 3:56Speaker 1: you've done. God has so many blessings that he can
- 4:01Speaker 1: send your way. But you have to do something. See
- 4:06Speaker 1: a lot of people just sit around and go man,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and something always happening to you. You're always getting a break,
- 4:13Speaker 1: You're always doing this. You always, man, don't nothing come
- 4:15Speaker 1: my way? Listen to me. If nothing ever comes your way.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You know why that is? It's because you're not doing anything.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I promise you you're not. Here's a deal. God has
- 4:26Speaker 1: all these blessings he wants to send you, but you
- 4:29Speaker 1: got to give him something to work with. Now, come on,
- 4:34Speaker 1: God will bless you. God can touch people's hearts on
- 4:37Speaker 1: your behalf, He can move situations around for you. He
- 4:41Speaker 1: can align the stars. He can set the ducks up
- 4:43Speaker 1: in the road. But align the stars and move people around,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and touch people's hearts and set the ducks up in
- 4:49Speaker 1: the road. For what have you put forth any effort?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Have you made a single step in any direction to
- 4:57Speaker 1: do the right thing or go the right way? That
- 4:59Speaker 1: give him something to put his finger on. Come on, man,
- 5:04Speaker 1: God can only bless you according to your faith. If
- 5:09Speaker 1: you have a little bit of faith, give him that.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Let him work with that. You know, man, I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 1: always start with these speeches you're hear in the morning now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I ain't always had these. I grew to these. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: stumbled my way to these. I messed up my way
- 5:23Speaker 1: to these. Hell, I got it wrong so many times
- 5:27Speaker 1: to be able to sound like I got some sense,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I said it often. Failure is a wonderful teacher. Do
- 5:33Speaker 1: you know how many times I have had to have
- 5:35Speaker 1: failed to have what I have in my head today.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, it's a process. People get mad
- 5:43Speaker 1: at the process. You got to do something to give
- 5:46Speaker 1: God something to work with. He'll bless you. But what
- 5:49Speaker 1: you want me to bless If you ain't putting forth
- 5:51Speaker 1: any effort, you can get blessed from whoever you are
- 5:54Speaker 1: in your life. Wherever your starting point is, wherever you
- 5:58Speaker 1: find yourself wound up, you can get it back from. Now.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I've done it, man, by the grace of God, I've
- 6:04Speaker 1: done it. I got over. Man. I learned some things
- 6:07Speaker 1: along the way. Because here's a deal. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 1: God keeps waking you up in the morning, he ain't
- 6:12Speaker 1: through with you yet. When he's done, you're done. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: if God still has a plan for you you wake
- 6:17Speaker 1: up in the morning, He's still got some more work
- 6:20Speaker 1: for you to do. You wake up in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So if you keep waking up, man, it's something that
- 6:24Speaker 1: God wants from you, would love to have from you,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and he can work with you, man, if you just
- 6:30Speaker 1: walk towards him a little bit. Here's a deal. I
- 6:34Speaker 1: know it's hard for the average person to start because
- 6:38Speaker 1: the fear of the unknown is incredible. Well, what if
- 6:40Speaker 1: I failed. What if I don't get picked. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: one of the hardest things I ever did was walking
- 6:46Speaker 1: in to quit my job. Oh man, let me tell
- 6:49Speaker 1: you about that day when I decided that I was
- 6:51Speaker 1: going to be a full time comedian after winning an
- 6:54Speaker 1: amateur night one time, quitting your job, following your dream,
- 7:01Speaker 1: going forward despite all the nay says, it's like stepping
- 7:05Speaker 1: off a cliff. It's like actually just walking off the
- 7:09Speaker 1: edge of a cliff, hoping, hoping. Now not really knowing,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but hoping. Hoping is the bad basis of faith. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: stepped off that cliff hoping that my parachute would open
- 7:28Speaker 1: and allow me to drift down. See. I've never skydived before,
- 7:33Speaker 1: but I would imagine part of the thrill. And I
- 7:35Speaker 1: don't know this because I'm not going to skydive to
- 7:38Speaker 1: find out. I think part of the thrill for people
- 7:42Speaker 1: is the danger part of throwing yourself out a plane
- 7:46Speaker 1: and how it feels to be free falling, but the
- 7:50Speaker 1: whole time they're free falling, having this exhilarating, over the
- 7:53Speaker 1: top moment. You have got to believe in your heart
- 7:58Speaker 1: of hearts, you have got the hope with everything in
- 8:01Speaker 1: you that when you pull this cord, the shoot opens
- 8:04Speaker 1: or else This ain't a good move at all. But
- 8:07Speaker 1: you've packed your shoote yourself. You've taken the lessons, so
- 8:11Speaker 1: you go ahead and you make the leap. Now. The
- 8:13Speaker 1: only thing about quitting your job and following your dream
- 8:16Speaker 1: is you ain't really been trained all that good for this.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You didn't packed your shoot, but you ain't never opened
- 8:22Speaker 1: it before. So I walked off this cliff, That's what
- 8:25Speaker 1: it was like. And you following your dream is like
- 8:27Speaker 1: you walking off a cliff. Here's the part where people
- 8:31Speaker 1: don't never make the jump. They see somebody like myself
- 8:35Speaker 1: who jumped off the cliff and the pass shote don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: open right away, and I hit a couple of rocks
- 8:40Speaker 1: on the way down. I got my back cut up
- 8:43Speaker 1: pretty bad. They see that three years living in a car, man,
- 8:47Speaker 1: he got his life toe down jumping off that cliff.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I ain't jumping off that cliff. But see, what you
- 8:52Speaker 1: don't understand is you don't know it. But eventually the
- 8:57Speaker 1: shoot will open, and I'm at the parachute opening part
- 9:01Speaker 1: of my life, man, where a shooting open and I'm
- 9:04Speaker 1: drifting and I'm able to guide my SHOOTE over to
- 9:08Speaker 1: Paris and glide. I've I've glided over to Africa and
- 9:11Speaker 1: seen what it looked like. It's a slow ride down.
- 9:14Speaker 1: When the passchute finally opened, and my back then heeled too,
- 9:18Speaker 1: and the cuts that I had on me, I remember
- 9:21Speaker 1: now I know how to stay away from the edge.
- 9:23Speaker 1: But the parish chute then opened, and I'm enjoying my
- 9:27Speaker 1: life for the first time. I'm gliding, but I got
- 9:30Speaker 1: hit up against the rock. I can see more. I
- 9:33Speaker 1: get a chance to see more things. I get to
- 9:35Speaker 1: glide and see more parts of the world. I'm living
- 9:38Speaker 1: my dream. Your passhute is gone open, but I'll tell
- 9:41Speaker 1: you one thing for shore, it will never open if
- 9:44Speaker 1: you don't step off that cliff. You got to step
- 9:46Speaker 1: off that cliff, got to get the passchute open for you.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But you got to jump, baby. That's the hard part,
- 9:52Speaker 1: ain't it now? Question is end of this story right
- 9:55Speaker 1: here today when you jumping, you're listening show. Ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have your undivided attention. This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 11:34Speaker 1: This hurt? Why is he walking back and forth though?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Like he's really on stage. I'm on stage. Don't stop. Ye,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you're repeating. It's just unnecessary. Yeah, yeah, but I got
- 11:48Speaker 1: to go in with him though he's the hype man.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Hype man, you ain't even dress. By the time I
- 11:55Speaker 1: say something right, you don't need that. I'm in tears.

- 12:07Speaker 1: I want everybody to know High it's gonna be in Hill,
- 12:10Speaker 1: It's gonna be what it's gonna be in hell. He's

- 12:24Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Watch this hill, Watch this hill. Yep, yep,
- 12:30Speaker 1: don't believe it's just watching too. I'm gonna get breathing
- 12:44Speaker 1: hard and everything, sir, Get one more, come on, give
- 12:49Speaker 1: him one more, Give me one more. Let him have it,
- 12:55Speaker 1: letting them have a playing. It's too early for this, man,
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's too early for this right off the full break.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You ain't gonna make it for a while. You're not
- 13:16Speaker 1: gonna make it. He's got his own hike bad. Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 1: one more sea before we go. Hurry, We're about to
- 13:32Speaker 1: be botted body and busting off up in here. Listen
- 13:36Speaker 1: in here, you're listening stry morning show. Right now, it's
- 13:41Speaker 1: time for the nephew to run that brank back media minuter.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Let's go Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reade Dre Andre. Yeah, Dre,
- 13:52Speaker 1: you the person that runs the media at the church.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You over the sound system and everything and all the um,
- 13:58Speaker 1: the screens and all that stuff. Yeah, yeah, I work
- 14:01Speaker 1: with the church. Okay, how long have you been at
- 14:03Speaker 1: the church, man, I've probably been at the church for
- 14:06Speaker 1: like five years now, about five years. Okay, okay, listen,
- 14:09Speaker 1: my name Doug Man, Doug Newsom, and uh I haven't.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I haven't joined the church yet, but I've been coming
- 14:15Speaker 1: because my cousin, you know, my um uh, my cousin
- 14:18Speaker 1: them go there, and they've been going there for quite
- 14:20Speaker 1: a bit. My cousin. Uh I got I got one
- 14:23Speaker 1: cousin that's in the choir. Uh Latrice. You know who
- 14:26Speaker 1: Latrice is? Right? Yeah? Yeah, I know you ain't a
- 14:30Speaker 1: member of the church yet. No, No, I'm not remember
- 14:32Speaker 1: of the church yet, but you know, I've been in there.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You know, I'm liking the service and everything. So you know,
- 14:37Speaker 1: it's just a matter of time, you know, uh uh
- 14:40Speaker 1: when I feel like I'm ready to actually join. But
- 14:42Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie. Man. I'm calling you because I
- 14:45Speaker 1: got a bit of an issue about about something I've
- 14:48Speaker 1: been noticing for the last three weeks that's been going
- 14:50Speaker 1: on in the church, and I wanted to, uh you know,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I had to ask around who was over the media ministry. Yeah,
- 14:57Speaker 1: that's that's you. Okay, So man, I don't know what's happening,
- 15:03Speaker 1: and I ain't gonna lie. I gotta be real with you.
- 15:06Speaker 1: It pissed me off. But for the last three weeks.
- 15:09Speaker 1: You know, when my cousin get ready to sing, you know,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I don't know why when she get up the same
- 15:16Speaker 1: that the mic just go out, you know what I mean,
- 15:18Speaker 1: the mic just go completely out when she getting ready
- 15:21Speaker 1: to sing. And I'm like, wait, what this don't make
- 15:22Speaker 1: no sense, you know, So, man, I ain't been It's
- 15:25Speaker 1: not like I'm timing it. I don't know. I mean,
- 15:27Speaker 1: we don't have the best equipment at the church, you know,
- 15:30Speaker 1: we we just got to work with what we got.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I mean, it's not like I'm sitting there trying to
- 15:35Speaker 1: sing about your cousin. Sometimes the mics get a glitch. Man,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but see but see that. But see that's my problem though.
- 15:40Speaker 1: The problem I'm having is the glitch happening every single
- 15:43Speaker 1: time my cousin get the mic. You know, That's that's
- 15:46Speaker 1: the problem I'm hand. I'm like, okay, so every time
- 15:48Speaker 1: the trees get up there the same then you know,
- 15:50Speaker 1: the mic go out. I came three weeks straight. I
- 15:52Speaker 1: ain't hearing my cousins saying nothing yet. So I'm calling
- 15:55Speaker 1: you bro on you know, on some real man the
- 15:58Speaker 1: man stuff, Just letting you know, bro, I'm coming to
- 16:01Speaker 1: church again this Sunday. I'm coming. Now, if Latrise might
- 16:05Speaker 1: go out again, hey Dug, somebody gonna get the You're
- 16:10Speaker 1: gonna bring that energy the church. I told you, man,
- 16:13Speaker 1: it's just a glitch. Ain't nothing I could do about it. Okay,
- 16:16Speaker 1: what I'm saying though, Bro, what I'm saying is just
- 16:18Speaker 1: right here though, And I'm being as real as I can.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Which if if Latrese might go out on Sunday, immediately
- 16:26Speaker 1: after that services out with somebody getting the wood. I
- 16:30Speaker 1: don't know why you calling threatening a member of the church. Man.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Like I said, I ain't got nothing to do with it.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I try to keep everything running cool, you know. I
- 16:38Speaker 1: try to keep it running smooth. I can't tell you
- 16:40Speaker 1: when a glitch is gonna happen. It's electronics, man, it's
- 16:43Speaker 1: only quimmen. Now, I'd love for you to be a
- 16:45Speaker 1: member of the church with us, but I can't. I mean,
- 16:47Speaker 1: why are you calling up here threatening me? Hey, bro,
- 16:50Speaker 1: because because I came up there three times, three times.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I he came there and see my cousin saying. You know,
- 16:56Speaker 1: my cousin been saying since we was kids. We all
- 16:58Speaker 1: love to hear hussaying, we love a voice. You know
- 17:01Speaker 1: we you know, we grew up listening to Latrise. So
- 17:04Speaker 1: what I'm saying, I'm gonna say this here though, and
- 17:06Speaker 1: I said it, I didn't said it twice already. I'm
- 17:09Speaker 1: coming up there Sunday if if Latrise might go out, bro,
- 17:14Speaker 1: let me just cut you off real quick. Ain't no
- 17:16Speaker 1: way that you're gonna come up here and whoop nobody's
- 17:19Speaker 1: as man. That just ain't gonna happen. Like I told you,
- 17:21Speaker 1: it's a glitch. But you ain't coming up to the
- 17:23Speaker 1: church talking all this and then you're gonna whip somebody's ass.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Go ahead, Okay, So I see where we are now,
- 17:28Speaker 1: So so let me just going on direct it this way.
- 17:30Speaker 1: So let me say this from Doug to Andre, from
- 17:34Speaker 1: me to you, I'm letting you know right now, come Sunday,
- 17:39Speaker 1: if Latrise might go out, not know, somebody, I'm whooping
- 17:44Speaker 1: your eyes, Drake, I'm whooping yo eyes if the day
- 17:48Speaker 1: I might go out. Okay, first off, ain't nobody whooping
- 17:50Speaker 1: my eyes, especially no punk dude named Doug. It ain't
- 17:54Speaker 1: gonna come to the church. What that gonna happen? Okay? What? What? What?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Makes you think you can't get your shipped on? And
- 18:00Speaker 1: dra what makes me you over here threatened somebody over
- 18:03Speaker 1: here with the media. You want to come test these
- 18:04Speaker 1: hands and come test the hands man. You know what,
- 18:07Speaker 1: by the fact, when y'all next rehearsal, I ain't just
- 18:09Speaker 1: come on over that end. You come on over there, man,
- 18:12Speaker 1: Why don't you come over right now? I'm over at
- 18:14Speaker 1: the church right now. Oh so you're at the church
- 18:16Speaker 1: right now. I'm at the church right now. Okay, right now.
- 18:19Speaker 1: If you want to catch it school, you're gonna need
- 18:22Speaker 1: the church after you don't get this at Okay, Hey, Bob,
- 18:26Speaker 1: tell DJ then we're gonna go to the church. Dout, No, no,
- 18:29Speaker 1: tell him. We've going to roll up there to this
- 18:30Speaker 1: damn church. Okay, come on, call all up, Call all up.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Now you're gonna get your shipped out. So you didn't
- 18:35Speaker 1: push it up on the wrong one. Now you're gonna
- 18:37Speaker 1: pushed up on the wrong one. So all this little
- 18:40Speaker 1: talking cool. You're gonna have eight dudes right now talking.
- 18:45Speaker 1: So Douggie, you can bring Johnny, you can bring Billy,
- 18:47Speaker 1: you can bring whoever you want. But it ain't gonna happen. Okay, Okay,
- 18:51Speaker 1: cool in real talk, Doug, you don't call me talking
- 18:54Speaker 1: to all this book. How you about to come up here?
- 18:57Speaker 1: And what my and now you need like seven eight
- 19:00Speaker 1: of the guys. Back in the day, we used to
- 19:01Speaker 1: just handle this one on one. And now you want
- 19:03Speaker 1: to come up here talking all that. You're gonna bring
- 19:05Speaker 1: every cousin you've got in your house. If you want
- 19:08Speaker 1: to do this, man, come up here, let's do it
- 19:10Speaker 1: one on one. Oh oh oh, you're scared of something.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Ain't nobody scared, but you're talking that. You're whooping mind?
- 19:16Speaker 1: And now you want to bring up every disciple you know? Man,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you know what, Bring whoever you want. Just don't bring
- 19:22Speaker 1: nobody you want back because I'll put you all down. Okay, Well,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this here. I'm gonna bring Timmy
- 19:26Speaker 1: with me, and Tommy gonna be the one that's gonna
- 19:29Speaker 1: act a damn fool with you. I'm telling you that
- 19:31Speaker 1: right now, Tommy. So you don't know Tommy, No, I
- 19:34Speaker 1: don't know Tommy. Okay, Doude, you know nephew Tommy from
- 19:37Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey More on the show. Are you kidding me? This? Number? Hey? Man?
- 19:46Speaker 1: Latrese got me to brank phone call you. Matter fact,
- 19:49Speaker 1: the whole choir is in on this and they know
- 19:52Speaker 1: that I am pranking you. Drake. Man, Now you got
- 19:56Speaker 1: me down turning up on the radio. Now I gotta
- 19:59Speaker 1: go ask for forgiveness. All that smack, I don't talk now.

- 34:12Speaker 1: stress on the health system, both from the number of
- 34:15Speaker 1: cases that need to be hospitalized, particularly in intensive care,
- 34:20Speaker 1: as well as for the inevitable illnesses that you're going
- 34:23Speaker 1: to be seeing among healthcare providers, which will make it
- 34:26Speaker 1: an even greatest stress on the system. The President was
- 34:29Speaker 1: in a close proximity apparently to a mid level staff
- 34:33Speaker 1: member for about thirty minutes Friday on an Air Force

- 35:22Speaker 1: thinking she was using her taser, which is paid, which

- 35:43Speaker 1: the demented one. Jay Anthon, I I speak to the
- 35:49Speaker 1: I speak to the people who really feel like I
- 35:52Speaker 1: feel about prisoner's time, who don't have that much joy.
- 35:56Speaker 1: We're not looking forward to the twenty fifth. They're literally
- 35:58Speaker 1: looking for the twenty six. But it's all over. That's
- 36:01Speaker 1: when they celebrate. So I sing and speak to those people.
- 36:06Speaker 1: That's what I said about. You got the matter, Dan
- 36:08Speaker 1: signs hit It here is hit It gonna have a

- 36:28Speaker 1: I'm not feeling so neat. I said, so you need
- 36:33Speaker 1: to know, so hear me when I speak. I'm gonna
- 36:37Speaker 1: have a jacked up Christmas, gonna spend it all along.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I've got no gifts and I won't call or text
- 36:47Speaker 1: you on the phone. I'm gonna have a jet up Christmas.
- 36:52Speaker 1: It's the worst time of dear. Oh my golly, gonna
- 36:57Speaker 1: have a jacked up Christmas. This old back God, They're
- 37:02Speaker 1: gonna have the jack christ Hold my ass, go ahead, Janius.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I've never seen nobody to spend that much time to

- 37:27Speaker 1: who writes an anti Christmas song but go into the
- 37:30Speaker 1: studio to do it? Jingles, it sounded jolly because of
- 37:41Speaker 1: the music. Yes, listen to the words. You wouldn't know that.
- 37:43Speaker 1: It wasn't a normal happy Christmas. But some little kids

- 37:55Speaker 1: him no high fives. That's my dog team. Wait a minute,
- 38:03Speaker 1: that's thank you. Think about it doing thanksgiving? Doing thank
- 38:07Speaker 1: you when you get them. First few text missions happy,
- 38:10Speaker 1: thank you. After about two more holes of that, don't
- 38:13Speaker 1: they get on your damn there and be like, Okay,
- 38:15Speaker 1: that's that's when you're through tex. That's from your friends
- 38:23Speaker 1: and family too. I die here from my mama. That's enough.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Happy happen. His bitterness is running rubbing off on you
- 38:30Speaker 1: tell me a little bit. Yeah, I'm cool, all right,
- 38:39Speaker 1: thank you, Jay. Coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 38:42Speaker 1: the hour, more of this crazy ignorant show Steve Harvey
- 38:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 38:50Speaker 1: Morning Show. It's Christmas time, right, and a lot of
- 38:54Speaker 1: people take great pains to find the perfect gift for
- 38:58Speaker 1: someone over the holidays because they want to treat their
- 39:01Speaker 1: loved ones to something special. But it turns out that
- 39:05Speaker 1: a lot of people aren't necessarily thinking that way. In fact,
- 39:08Speaker 1: many are really just looking for ways to outgift the
- 39:12Speaker 1: loved ones in their lives. A new survey finds yeah, right.
- 39:16Speaker 1: A new survey finds its sixty one percent of Americans
- 39:19Speaker 1: see gift giving as a way to out gift their
- 39:22Speaker 1: loved ones. Thirty nine percent of people say the person
- 39:25Speaker 1: they are competing with see that person as their sibling
- 39:31Speaker 1: usually other people you did it. Other people try to
- 39:38Speaker 1: outgift that they try to outgift include friends or significant others.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I can see that. Yeah, So I gotta ask you, guys,
- 39:46Speaker 1: what is the worst gift you've ever received? And what's
- 39:49Speaker 1: the best gift you've ever received? Jay? Oh, the worst
- 39:54Speaker 1: gift I ever received was my kids and they got together,
- 39:58Speaker 1: all three of them, got to other and pitched in
- 40:00Speaker 1: on this and gave me one pair of lime green sucks.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Lime Green just started against a little recognition back in
- 40:11Speaker 1: the jack just lime is just starting to come out.
- 40:19Speaker 1: It wasn't it was it was It wasn't was a
- 40:22Speaker 1: damn back in the se Lime walk around like bold?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Is that lam? Yeah? What about you junior? Oh my god,
- 40:35Speaker 1: remember back in school when you just have to trade gifts,
- 40:38Speaker 1: you know, by a gift? Oh yeah yeah, I ain't
- 40:43Speaker 1: got this Michael night night Rider remote control call. When
- 40:50Speaker 1: I got my gifts, I just had Plato. I not
- 40:59Speaker 1: what that's this? And then the little boys said it
- 41:02Speaker 1: can do a lot of stuff. He twisted it and
- 41:04Speaker 1: just made a little man. I kicked that little man off,
- 41:10Speaker 1: is what I want? Yeah? Oh my god, about your nephew.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Mine is a little similar to junior because it was
- 41:17Speaker 1: at schools in grade school. I think it's about fifth grade.
- 41:19Speaker 1: And I pull this kid's name and he pull on
- 41:23Speaker 1: my name. So you know, I hadn't done all my chores.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I didn't cut some yards. I got him the g
- 41:28Speaker 1: I Joe with the Kung Fu grip. I got him
- 41:31Speaker 1: a good joy. That's a real toy back in the day. Man,
- 41:37Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Let me tell you something.
- 41:39Speaker 1: He got me a coloring book that his ass had
- 41:43Speaker 1: been coloring in Miss Johnson's room. You hear me. My
- 41:50Speaker 1: mama beat the hell out of me that they call
- 41:54Speaker 1: that the Mercedes dealership. Pretty on. First of all, it's
- 42:01Speaker 1: a sorry gift, but you've been coloring in it all right,
- 42:05Speaker 1: all outside the lines to all outside and oh god,
- 42:12Speaker 1: all right, what's the best gift? What's the best gift? Uh? Well,
- 42:17Speaker 1: I can tell you the best gift I gave my
- 42:19Speaker 1: mom because I always competed against my sister. Let's see,
- 42:23Speaker 1: so the survey is correct. It's true. When my sister
- 42:28Speaker 1: gave my mom, she said, I gave U. I said,
- 42:30Speaker 1: So what'd you give mom? She said? And it's the
- 42:32Speaker 1: first time I ever heard my sister curse. She said,
- 42:34Speaker 1: I gave mom one hundred dollars. I said, I gave
- 42:36Speaker 1: a floor mintel color TV. Let's just said, who was
- 42:40Speaker 1: a Christian? And don't cuss much at all at all?
- 42:43Speaker 1: She said, I'd be damned. I'd be damn. That's a
- 42:50Speaker 1: lot hard he won. What about you. Let's see the
- 42:57Speaker 1: worst gift I ever got? Um, I don't know. I
- 43:02Speaker 1: guess it was a microphone when I was little, you know,
- 43:08Speaker 1: not a little bit younger. But it didn't work. I
- 43:11Speaker 1: didn't get any batteries with it. You know. It was
- 43:15Speaker 1: like I tell you the words, gift, Yeah, a key chain,
- 43:22Speaker 1: so bad. Relative and then and then the worst gift
- 43:30Speaker 1: of all was, of course, a set of pots. Anyway, anyway,
- 43:37Speaker 1: all right, coming up next, it is a nephew with
- 43:39Speaker 1: a frank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to
- 43:43Speaker 1: the stew All right, guys. Coming up at the top
- 43:48Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my
- 43:50Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today, and boy, this one is a
- 43:53Speaker 1: good one. All ears on deck, All ears on deck. Subject,
- 43:58Speaker 1: I get excited easily. That is the subject right now,
- 44:06Speaker 1: not no mob, I have the plan in excitement. I'm
- 44:14Speaker 1: gonna be excited Thursday. Remember Thursday. Let's see, didn't get excited?
- 44:29Speaker 1: What you doing Thursday? Stop? All right again? The subject
- 44:41Speaker 1: is I get excited very easily. Well you weren't over there.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Bleak fellas have to say about this one right now though.
- 44:50Speaker 1: The nephew is here with today's praying phone called she
- 44:53Speaker 1: got one arm bandit looking good on your breaks, your breaks,
- 44:58Speaker 1: that's the name, mumby. You're gonna drink your coffee and
- 45:02Speaker 1: lick your little pump your brakes. Let's go cat doctor. Hello, Hello,
- 45:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Natalie. Please, yeah, christus, Natalie, Natalie.
- 45:17Speaker 1: How you doing? My name is Darren. I'm with the
- 45:19Speaker 1: Homeowners Association? Oh okay, hey, dare how you doing? Listen? Um,
- 45:27Speaker 1: we got a we got a bit of a problem,
- 45:29Speaker 1: if you don't mind me asking, who's who? Who actually
- 45:32Speaker 1: brings your kids home from school? Uh? Each day? Oh
- 45:37Speaker 1: my mom gets my kids for me and she drops
- 45:40Speaker 1: them off. Okay, okay, okay, Well we have a we
- 45:45Speaker 1: have a bit of a problem. The kids are fine,
- 45:47Speaker 1: there's there's no issue with the kids at all. But
- 45:51Speaker 1: you know, we've had a meeting here at the HLA.
- 45:53Speaker 1: We've been getting some complaints. Uh, it seems like your
- 45:56Speaker 1: mother is is uh really beating down the street real fast,
- 46:02Speaker 1: and you know everyone's complaining about it that you know,
- 46:06Speaker 1: it's a lot of kids walking home from school and
- 46:09Speaker 1: it seems like your mom is driving real fast when
- 46:11Speaker 1: she's coming down the street to drop your kids off.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Did you know anything about this? Uh? No, not at all.
- 46:19Speaker 1: That doesn't even sound like her. Okay, what type of car? Uh?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Let me ask you this, Natalie. We're we're we're from
- 46:28Speaker 1: what I understand, it is a What kind of car
- 46:32Speaker 1: does your mom had? Is a board escape or something
- 46:35Speaker 1: like that? From a little suv? Does that what your
- 46:38Speaker 1: mom has? Yeah? She has a little red stuv? Okay,
- 46:44Speaker 1: all right? So the problem is that that that's the
- 46:48Speaker 1: same car. That's the one we're talking about. And it
- 46:50Speaker 1: seems like, you know, your mother is is flying down
- 46:54Speaker 1: the street and she drops the kids off, and when
- 46:56Speaker 1: she leaves, she's flying back out of the neighborhood. And
- 46:59Speaker 1: a couple of times some of the neighbors have told
- 47:01Speaker 1: her to slow down, and you know, I don't know
- 47:04Speaker 1: if she's flicked them off or set something out the window,
- 47:07Speaker 1: you know, but you know, this is stuff that we
- 47:10Speaker 1: just cannot tolerate. Huh, well it really doesn't sound like
- 47:14Speaker 1: my mom. But you know, okay, we need to you
- 47:17Speaker 1: know what, Natalie, what what we're not gonna do is
- 47:19Speaker 1: what you're not gonna do is act like it's not
- 47:20Speaker 1: your mamma. It's your mother that's doing this. So what
- 47:23Speaker 1: we need you to do is tell your mama to
- 47:26Speaker 1: slow up down so we don't ask problem, all right,
- 47:29Speaker 1: because I tried to be nice with you at first.
- 47:31Speaker 1: But if you're gonna be a denial figured it's not
- 47:33Speaker 1: your mamma, then we got issue. First of all, daring
- 47:38Speaker 1: from h o A. I need you to watch your
- 47:41Speaker 1: charls and who you're talking to, all right. I need
- 47:44Speaker 1: you to climb that all the way down. All right.
- 47:49Speaker 1: You need to slow your damn mama down. That's what
- 47:51Speaker 1: you need to do. Slow your mama down the way
- 47:53Speaker 1: she's driving to do. It's stand in the middle of
- 47:56Speaker 1: the street. Is she plying down and so hopefully she
- 47:58Speaker 1: can knock you out the way. Okay, s, don't talk
- 48:01Speaker 1: to me like that. You're being ruined it respectful. I
- 48:03Speaker 1: don't ask her if this time because I don't think
- 48:06Speaker 1: it's hard. But you're not gonna talk to me like that. Okay,
- 48:09Speaker 1: So your mama can just drive down the streets and
- 48:11Speaker 1: I can say what you want to do, what I'm
- 48:14Speaker 1: gonna do. Whatever she want to do, she'll go on
- 48:17Speaker 1: doing it. She can't do it in the neighborhood that
- 48:19Speaker 1: I'm a member of the h o an. She can't
- 48:22Speaker 1: do it there. Okay, I don't mind whatever your mama
- 48:25Speaker 1: arrested with your kids in the car. If I got to,
- 48:28Speaker 1: I wish you would. I wish you would have my
- 48:31Speaker 1: mama arrested with my kids in the car. You're gonna
- 48:33Speaker 1: have more problems than you ever had. Okay, you bet,
- 48:37Speaker 1: And I have my mama arrested. You gonna get arrested
- 48:40Speaker 1: and you're gonna be sent to the hospital. How about that. Okay,
- 48:44Speaker 1: let me tell yourself to tell your mama so slow
- 48:47Speaker 1: her down in the streets. This the last one, and
- 48:50Speaker 1: I'm giving y'all this the last one. Well, you know
- 48:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You ain't got to give no one.
- 48:55Speaker 1: It's okay. We can have a real conversation about it.
- 48:58Speaker 1: We can meet and talk about it. Ain't gonna talk
- 49:00Speaker 1: to me like that, say you and I ain't telling
- 49:02Speaker 1: my mama nothing. I ain't telling out a small own thing.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Not that what you're gonna do? What's your mom to
- 49:07Speaker 1: dare that must meet about it. I'm not bringing my
- 49:10Speaker 1: husband too, says you got so much to say, you
- 49:13Speaker 1: don't say. I don't want you to kiss that same energy.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Okay with my husband. I want you to talk to
- 49:18Speaker 1: him like you talking to me. I literally tell you something.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I ain't worry about your husband and none of that.
- 49:24Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna say I'm gonna say this right here.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this right here. Tommy is the one
- 49:29Speaker 1: that told us that your mamma was speaking out the street.

- 49:46Speaker 1: but Tommy can kiss my. You can kiss my and

- 53:32Speaker 1: The subject is I get excited very easily. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I really need your help and advice with an embarrassing problem.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I'm a twenty eight year old healthy black mail and
- 53:42Speaker 1: I am single. Since I was fourteen years old, I've
- 53:46Speaker 1: been having frequent erections. I have been to several urologists
- 53:51Speaker 1: and specialists, and each doctor told me that I'm completely normal.
- 53:56Speaker 1: I have talked to my male friends and older men,
- 53:59Speaker 1: and they all say that it does not sound normal,
- 54:01Speaker 1: but it also does not sound like a big problem.
- 54:04Speaker 1: But it is for me. I have my first professional
- 54:08Speaker 1: job and I wear suits to work daily with tailored pants.
- 54:12Speaker 1: It's very hard to conceal bass. You heard me. It's
- 54:20Speaker 1: very difficult, very hard to conceal my bulge, and I
- 54:27Speaker 1: feel like everyone has noticed at one time or another.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I've tried all kinds of home remedies, and I have
- 54:34Speaker 1: started wearing really tight underwear, but nothing works to compress
- 54:38Speaker 1: my big problem. I was out getting lunch the other
- 54:41Speaker 1: day and ended up having to go through a drive
- 54:43Speaker 1: through because I could not get out of the car.
- 54:46Speaker 1: It lasts forever when it happens, so I've been late
- 54:51Speaker 1: to work and business meeting some days. It happens at
- 54:54Speaker 1: the worst times, no matter what's on my mind or
- 54:57Speaker 1: what I'm doing. It's caused problem in my last relationship
- 55:01Speaker 1: because it creeped out my girlfriend. And what in my
- 55:05Speaker 1: last relationship? Because it creeped out my girlfriend and she
- 55:09Speaker 1: thought I was some kind of freak. Creeped out on
- 55:13Speaker 1: my girlfriend? Okay, I think a word is missing there,
- 55:16Speaker 1: and she thought I was some kind of freak. It
- 55:18Speaker 1: will usually go away on its own, but most times
- 55:21Speaker 1: I have to help out the situation. If you know
- 55:23Speaker 1: what I mean. This thing is altering my lifestyle and
- 55:26Speaker 1: starting to ruin my confidence. Do you think I should
- 55:29Speaker 1: discuss my situation with my employer and my pastor. I
- 55:32Speaker 1: don't want to look like a pervert. Any advice would
- 55:35Speaker 1: be helpful, all right, Um, first of all, yeah, I
- 55:42Speaker 1: just say a few things and then you guys, Steve, okay,
- 55:51Speaker 1: I think you guys. Yeah, and I and I said
- 55:54Speaker 1: that in my first line. I don't think I'm qualified
- 55:57Speaker 1: or should I say, equipped to answer this letter. I don't,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but that to never stopped me before now, has it?
- 56:04Speaker 1: Obviously I am not a man, but but I do
- 56:07Speaker 1: empathize with you. I mean, we've all heard about ED.
- 56:11Speaker 1: We've all heard about ED. This is the exact but no, no,
- 56:16Speaker 1: this is this is a form of ED. This is
- 56:18Speaker 1: a form of ED. It is ever, this is a
- 56:23Speaker 1: form of that, the exact opposite of what we all
- 56:26Speaker 1: are familiar with. Um. Of course I would naturally tell
- 56:30Speaker 1: you to go to the doctor and get checked out.
- 56:31Speaker 1: But you've been to neurologists, you've been a specialist all
- 56:34Speaker 1: of that, uh, you know, and they've all said it
- 56:37Speaker 1: was normal. I just can't imagine you're missing meetings, being
- 56:40Speaker 1: like for work because of this. You're twenty eight. I
- 56:43Speaker 1: know this happens when to teenage boys A lot and
- 56:46Speaker 1: stuff like that. Um, I would just suggest you've got
- 56:48Speaker 1: to keep going to the doctor until you know you
- 56:52Speaker 1: can get this situation under control. You say you wear
- 56:56Speaker 1: tailored pants until this situation is to control. Maybe you
- 57:01Speaker 1: shouldn't wear tailored pants. Um, you know, I know you. Yeah,
- 57:06Speaker 1: this this is a bad situation. I wouldn't talk to
- 57:08Speaker 1: my employer about it just yet, and definitely not my pastor. Uh.
- 57:12Speaker 1: And I understand you, yeah, I understand you don't want
- 57:16Speaker 1: to look like look like a pervert. So um steve
- 57:19Speaker 1: from that point. You know, go ahead, you can take
- 57:21Speaker 1: it now. But I have different boy. Come on, don't
- 57:24Speaker 1: even worry about it. I got all this hill in
- 57:26Speaker 1: that bottom. Let me go and walk you through this
- 57:29Speaker 1: thing right here. Like you see what you your main
- 57:33Speaker 1: problem is you think you've got a problem. That's your
- 57:37Speaker 1: main problem. That's the problem they are you talking about. Boy,
- 57:43Speaker 1: Listen to me. You're saying, I'm a healthy twenty eight
- 57:47Speaker 1: year old black man. All of us been a healthy
- 57:50Speaker 1: twenty eight year old black All of the sick, the
- 57:54Speaker 1: sicker sales, the dive, the fat boy, the shot man,
- 57:59Speaker 1: we all been healthy twenty eight year old viral young
- 58:04Speaker 1: men before that. Ain't nothing here old vibes. They read
- 58:10Speaker 1: about it. Ye work it out for you, helf. Since
- 58:15Speaker 1: I was fourteen years old, I've been having frequent erections. Boy,
- 58:20Speaker 1: everybody half frequently. At fourteen? What did you talk to? Ye?
- 58:26Speaker 1: You can't wake up? He's your friend, He's with you
- 58:30Speaker 1: all the time. I was fifteen, I was looking at
- 58:34Speaker 1: mine one day, going, what do you want from me?
- 58:39Speaker 1: Why are you here? What are you going? I'm not
- 58:43Speaker 1: ready for you yet. I'm going downstairs from breakfast my mama.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Damn die. Now you sitting up here talking about you
- 58:56Speaker 1: at fourteen? You prost too. It's every day. So now
- 59:02Speaker 1: you don't go into the doctor and guess what the
- 59:04Speaker 1: doctor told you that you completely normal because medically ain't
- 59:09Speaker 1: nothing wrong with you. Boy, hold that thought, Steve, hold on,
- 59:17Speaker 1: I say something? When I said that? Is it hard
- 59:20Speaker 1: for you to hold that thought? Steve? You guys are
- 59:25Speaker 1: so elementary? All Right, we've been We'll have part two
- 59:29Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 59:32Speaker 1: the Hour's subject of today's Strawberry Letter. I get excited
- 59:36Speaker 1: very easily. We'll be back for three minutes after the hour.
- 59:40Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 59:43Speaker 1: we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter. Before we do that,
- 59:46Speaker 1: we do need to do a disclaimer to parents. If
- 59:48Speaker 1: you have small children, you may not want them to
- 59:50Speaker 1: hear this letter. The subject is I get excited very easily, Steve.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Here's twenty year old dude man and wrote in and

- 1:00:36Speaker 1: up down. What's happening? Hey? Man? Could you just come

- 1:00:53Speaker 1: the mouth and don't even know it. They're blessing you

- 1:01:01Speaker 1: sound right. Older men say it don't sound it don't
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: sound normal, but it also don't sound like a big problem.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: That's because old dudes no enjoy this while it's happening.

- 1:03:32Speaker 1: to me. Take Sideclops and just put him at twelve o'clock.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Side Clops has to live at twelve o'clock. If you
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: put side in, if you put Cideclops at five o'clock,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: seven o'clock, eight nine o'clock, you got a problem. You
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: got to put side Clops at twelve o'clock noon. Now
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: surely for those of you to go don't understand, you don't, okay, well,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: then listen to me. The clock has an hour on
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: it where it's twelve new, straight up, straight up? Yeah,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: twelve new. It's whare Sherlett said? Again, it's pointing straight up.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: That's all you got to do. That's all you got
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: to do. Now, get everybody at attention at twelve news.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Your problem is solved, son, But see that. Hello, you
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: ain't really got no problem now. You just don't know
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: how to handle your situation. Now you say you talked
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: to older men when I'm assuming you ain't got no
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: brothers or no daddies or nothing like that in your life.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: So now I'm trying to help you. But you all
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you got to do is get everything up at twelve news. No,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: let's move on down. You say that it just happens
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: way too often. Now you get these Tommy John makes
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: an underwear that's very comfortable that will allow you to
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: put yourself in the high noon position and sold us
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: under armed their bicycle shorts and keep everything in a
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: position that you won't have this problem. No bo, Now,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: did you say sometimes in last four hours. That reminds
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: me of a Seattist commercial that said, if you get
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: an erection lasted more than four hours, call your doctor.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I'm not calling the doctor. I have war than last
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: more than four hours. No, I'm taking selfish. I'm taking
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: selfish me and I'm putting them on the time code.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: And I'm sending the friends of man that I'm still family.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I want to man steal check me out two hours.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I'm not calling no damn doctor. I hate every man
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and I'm going much person. Okay, post your comments on
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: and don't forgot to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: on demand. You're listening. Okay, Steve, it's time for you
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: to um introduce your friend. You hired him, Jay Anthony Brown. Gentleman,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: ain't gonna need it going through it. Here he is
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Jathony Brown. Okay, I have an announcement to me. You
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: know that was working on the Big Black Nutcracker. Well,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: things just went crazy, so we're out of production. I'm
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: done with Dad. They went nuts. Contracts, it just went nuts.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: It just totally went nuts. I'm working on a new production.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Now it's called How the Grinch Got His Ass Whoop,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: And it's uh, it's called Disney movie. They really, yeah,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Disney movie. I'm talking to people at Disney and it
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: stars mc hammer. And so mc hammer is in the
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: house and you know how the Grinch comes in and
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: steel and stuff. And when he comes in, he starts
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: to sing. This is the first song of the movie.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Of the thing. He started saying, can't touch that. You
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: can't touch that. So he stops the Grinch from taking stuff.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: You can't touch that again. Now here's the thing right here.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I'm looking for different people to play the part of
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Cindy lou who and I'm going with two people, the
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: little girl, right, I'm going with two people. I want
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: somebody light skinned because when you put that green paint
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: on it, I can't use a dark skinned person. So
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I'm youth looking for a light skinned person with green
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: eyes because to play the part with the play the
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: part when we do the close ups. Now, when we
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: do the ass whipping part. Question is the reason you
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: have to find the light skinn Persson. You put the
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: green makeup on him, it to be purple, no, it'll
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: go green, but black dark dark. People can't take that
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: that green paint, Steve George Wallace. Yeah, it's so, it's
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: a it doesn't work, so I gotta have light skin.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: So yeah, so anyway, anyway, so the part of the
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: action part all the action part of the ass whooping part,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: because I need somebody who can really whoop ass, who
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: can really whoop the Grinch's ass is gonna be played
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: by Sheryl Underwood because she really she will really put
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: foot in the Grinch's ass. And now, like before, Kurt
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Franklin is in this. He played Jesus. I know, I know,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the baby Jesus is not in there, but he said
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: he'd do it for in my part. Now here's the
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: most important part, the part of the Grinch. The part
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: of the Grinch. This is very very the part of
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: the Grinch will be played by Nate Robinson because don't know, yeah,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: nobody knows how to take a serious ass whooping like
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: so tongue to the Disney people is gonna be on
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: ice production when it's not gonna be a movie, it's
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: gonna be on ice. So the Grinch gets his ass
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: whoop on ice, so look out for it. Nate Robinson
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: will paid party to the Grinch, he will definitely get
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: his ass. Whoop. I'm taking auditions now, that's what I'm
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: working on. You're listening Morning show time Now for ask
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the clo the Chief Love Office of the Cloth, and
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: you're ready. Yeah. This one is from Evelyn in DC.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: Evelyn says, I'm about to lose my mind because I
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: found out my living boyfriend lied to me. I haven't
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: said anything to him about it because I need your advice.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: He dated my younger sister about eight years ago, and
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: my sister was mad at first, but she eventually gave
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: us her blessing. Now whenever she needs something, he still
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: will run to help her behind my back. He was
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: at her house Saturday to help her put up a
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Christmas tree and I found out about it. Should I
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: keep fussing at him or let myself sister have her
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: man back? What? Yeah? Who's going on? Yeah? What y'all?
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: What y'all? What y'all do this? Fault? Y'all ain't think

- 1:11:02Speaker 1: know what to tell y'all crazy let us Yeah, y'all
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: gonna pass me. He ain't that good. I can tell
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you that right now. He can't be crazy. Yeah, yeah, Yeah,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: she was mad at first, but then she gave them
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: her blessing. Yeah, nah, that's too much. Yeah, get someone else. Sorry,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Barry into gave gave gave y'all her blessing, and I
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: guess she's still blessing him. Maybe we just feel it blessed.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Doing this holiday speed sounds like yeah, drinking together. But
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: the nag though, Yeah, all right. M Barry in Toledo says,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: I've been with my girlfriend for three years and we
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: had a great Thanksgiving planned, but things went left when
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: a female co worker texted me. My girl saw the
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: text and asked me why my worker was comfortable enough
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: to send me a happy Thanksgiving text at eight a m.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: She said, my coworker needs to know her place. My
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: girlfriend has access to my phone, and I've never had
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: this problem before, so I know it's because my co
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: worker is fine ying FI N E N all caps
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Steve All. Yeah, Now she's really mad because I changed
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: my password. I'm not a cheater and I don't like
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: insecure women. Did I handle this the wrong way? Well? Do?
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Let me just say this to you? Come on, come on,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: come on, chief love offen, fine chick? Yep, text you
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: at eight o'clock in the morning. What does that mean?

- 1:16:15Speaker 1: that's when they celebrate. So I sing and speak to

- 1:17:28Speaker 1: go ahead, Dan, I've never seen nobody's to spend that
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: much time to be negative. I mean better, I love it.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I mean, who writes an anti Christmas song but going
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: to the studio to do it. It sounded jolly because
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: of the music. Yes, listen to the words. You wouldn't
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: know that. It wasn't a normal happy Christmas. Some little
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: kids somewhere just crying, you see, miss Jake Man. Great job, Jake,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: give him no high fire. That's my job. Team. Wait
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: a minute, thank you. Think about it doing thanksgiving, doing
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: thank you. When you get them first few text missions happy,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: thank you. After about two more hours of that, don't
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: they get on your damn there? And he'd be like, Okay,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: that's that's when you group texts from your friends and family.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I thought, here from my mama, that's enough. Happy. This
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: bitterness is running rubbing off on you, Tommy a little bit. Yeah,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I could be. I'm cool. All right, we're coming back
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As a
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: matter of fact, this is our last break of the day.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Steve's closing remarks, you don't want to miss it. It's
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: been a good day. We'll be back at forty nine
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this you're listening to all right,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: here we are Steve, last break of the day. It's
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: been a good day. That's why we love having you, Steve.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: So you can give us some closing remarks, some words today.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Oftentimes my best closing remarks are remarks that are reflective
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: of something that I'm going through, have been through, or experienced.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: And so today is going to be in that vein.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I want to talk to you all today about faith. Faith,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: the purest definition of faith to me, this is to me, now,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I don't know how all the people view faith. I'm
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: just talking about the purest definition of faith to me
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: is simply this. Faith is the belief in things that
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: you cannot see. That's what faith really means to me.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: That categorizes faith for me, That exemplifies faith for me,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: That expresses faith for me. That somehow, over the years
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: I have managed to understand that faith is in the
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: belief in things that you cannot see. So when situations
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: beset me, when circumstances run up into me, when I
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: find myself in something that I have no control over
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: that circumstance, just set thyself right in front of my door.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden I get the phone
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: calls hey man, you all right, hey man, hang in man,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: so sad to hear the news you know I had
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: a slew it that this week because of some article
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: that came out about the show Friends from Cleveland, and
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I appreciate it all. But I'm gonna tell you something
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: that I'm drawing on. I'm drawing on this thing called faith.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I'm drawing on some words that my mother told me
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: when she was young. When I was young, my mama
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: was a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She always
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: taught me that I don't believe God brought me this
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: far to leave me. There is no way that God
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: got me to this place to leave me. See where
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: faith comes in. I firmly believe that when one door closes,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: God has another one to open up. See. I never
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: stand in the doorway that's closing in my face and
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: keep knocking on that door. Y'all need to open this
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: door back up. I'm not gonna stand there and try
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: to force my way back in the door. I'm gonna
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: take care of my business. Of course, faith with our
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: works is dead. But I do not get crippled and
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: crumbled over the predictions or the thoughts of somebody else.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Somebody come to me and tell me what they're gonna
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: do to me. How many times have you had somebody
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: come to you and tell you what they was gonna
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: do to you? How many times have you had a
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: boss confront you and tell you what they was gonna
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: do to you? And they say it with the full
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: intent of shaking you up? And sometimes it work, don't it?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: You go home and you shake it. Let me offer
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: you something, stop shaking. Don't worry, don't be dismayed. There's
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: no way God brought you this far to leave. See
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: the people is talking about taking stuff from you. They
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: didn't give it to you in the first place. What
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: they don't know that your steps was ordered by God.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: What they don't know that God positioned you right where
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: he wanted you to be at a particular time. They
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: had no choice that to put you into position because
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: God had ordered his soul. So when they come along
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and they start talking about taking you out of position,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: what you're worried about? That fault? You don't think. You
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: don't think that you have an option here. You don't
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: think that the god you served that put you where
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: he wanted you to be placed. You don't think he
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: see all of this. I do. I think he sees me.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I think he places me right where he wanted me
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: to be placed. I think he has people saying things
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: about me so I can hear it. I think he's
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: allowing people to think that they're making decisions because they
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: want to. I believe that they don't know that God
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: is always working on my behalf behind the scenes. Always.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Why Because I believe and I trusted him. That's why
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: he always working on my behalf. That is no, I'm
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: not an evil person. I'm not an unrighteous person. I'm
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: really a good person. I'm flawed, but I'm a good person.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I don't set out to hurt nobody. I ain't trying
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: to step on nobody. So when somebody bring me some
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: disparaging news about what they're gonna do to me, in
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: the words of Bishop T. D. Jakes, you got to
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: be careful how you handle me. Be very careful how
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: you handle me. Because I happen to be a child
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: of the Most High. What He's done for me in
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: the past he or can continue to do for me
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: in the future. I have no fear of what you
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: claiming that you will do to me, because God didn't
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: bring me this far to leave me. That I'm certain
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: of faith is to leaf in things that you cannot see.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: And even though I can't see what he's doing right now,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I bet he's doing something. I'm excited about the future
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: of what God got for me. Those are my closing Yes, sir,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: better drop yourself a good week. I am right, Faith
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: baby dropped it? Did you drop the micro? Drop yourself?
