- 0:21Speaker 1: string together for st Please, I don't join jo. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta turning, you go. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you got to turn out water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I show we off. Hey, good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice. I've come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. I've been saying it like that since I
- 2:14Speaker 1: got it too. All Right, I gotta go one for
- 2:17Speaker 1: you today. Yesterday the other day, I was talking to
- 2:20Speaker 1: you about the most effective weapon available to us as
- 2:23Speaker 1: human beings, I think is prayer. I think prayer helps
- 2:27Speaker 1: us in so many ways. But right now, what I
- 2:30Speaker 1: want to do is I want to show you how
- 2:33Speaker 1: prayer pays off. I want I want to show you
- 2:36Speaker 1: what good it can do for you, even me. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: use it every day, and and the days I don't
- 2:42Speaker 1: use it, I feel it that that you know, the
- 2:46Speaker 1: days that I go, you know, without talking to him
- 2:48Speaker 1: as much, I notice it. I feel it. I feel
- 2:51Speaker 1: a certain kind of way. You know, those are those
- 2:54Speaker 1: that doubt starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling of
- 2:58Speaker 1: uncertainty slips in and again, that that wondering what I'm
- 3:01Speaker 1: gonna do start slipping in again happens to me, happens everybody, man,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think, I really really do you know, people would
- 3:08Speaker 1: just keep it real with each other. Stop being this
- 3:11Speaker 1: Christian this superman, because you ain't. You ain't. There's a
- 3:16Speaker 1: scripture that says that's none perfect, no, not one. That's
- 3:22Speaker 1: everybody that covered all of us don't. So sometimes I
- 3:27Speaker 1: think we're a little too hard on each other with
- 3:30Speaker 1: that too, seeing us how we're not perfect, we immediately
- 3:33Speaker 1: want to just just oh man, you just want to
- 3:36Speaker 1: kill when we find somebody do something wrong. But if
- 3:39Speaker 1: you go public, everything go public now called social media.
- 3:42Speaker 1: But anyway, I just want to talk to you about
- 3:45Speaker 1: how prayer pays off. It's called all eye and money.
- 3:50Speaker 1: People got money, call it all eyes a return on investment.
- 3:54Speaker 1: People are always looking for a return on investment. You know, nobody,
- 3:58Speaker 1: nobody in business really gives you money without understanding the
- 4:01Speaker 1: return on investment. They don't even give money to charities
- 4:06Speaker 1: unless they think it can do something with the bottom line.
- 4:09Speaker 1: A lot of companies work like that, I found out
- 4:11Speaker 1: out myself. Sad, but it is true. So since everything
- 4:16Speaker 1: is expected to work on a return on investment as
- 4:19Speaker 1: soon because we're human beings. So since we're all human beings,
- 4:22Speaker 1: whether you're in business or not, you're still in the
- 4:26Speaker 1: business of living. I think when you pray, you should
- 4:31Speaker 1: expect a return on your investment. You talk to him,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you spend time opening it up to him, you bowed
- 4:40Speaker 1: your head to him, you humbled yourself, you got on
- 4:44Speaker 1: your knees. I mean, but really we're talking God here,
- 4:47Speaker 1: So really, what you're doing ain't really about nothing. Be
- 4:49Speaker 1: honest with You're a little bit that you do do
- 4:52Speaker 1: on his behalf. It just pales in comparison with what
- 4:56Speaker 1: he does. But let's just say you want to call
- 4:58Speaker 1: yourself invested, well, let me show you how it pays off.
- 5:02Speaker 1: This because for me, this is for me. Now, pray
- 5:06Speaker 1: pays off in different ways. That's what I had to learn. See,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I was praying, but I was asking him specifically for
- 5:12Speaker 1: what I wanted. I had the audacity, though, to turn
- 5:16Speaker 1: around and tell him how to do what I wanted.
- 5:20Speaker 1: That's amazing, man, I can't tell you how many blessings
- 5:22Speaker 1: I blocked coming my way by putting my faith in
- 5:26Speaker 1: what I said I wanted and how I wanted him
- 5:28Speaker 1: to do it. I want you to give me this.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I want that person to go away. I want this
- 5:35Speaker 1: person to accept everything you say. Then I want to
- 5:39Speaker 1: go over here and I want this deal to happen
- 5:41Speaker 1: like this, And I want that person to just step
- 5:44Speaker 1: aside and let me let me through. And then I
- 5:46Speaker 1: wanted I was. I hadn't mapped out. God must have
- 5:50Speaker 1: been chuckling really hard. He hadn't been gonna. Boy, I
- 5:53Speaker 1: made you to be funny. But boy, you're funny now.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So you're gonna tell me how to do it. And
- 5:58Speaker 1: you've all heard this right here. If you want to
- 5:59Speaker 1: make God laugh telling me your plan, well, that's what
- 6:02Speaker 1: I did. And that's how we pray. A lot of
- 6:04Speaker 1: times we pray, and we pray in the prayer with
- 6:08Speaker 1: telling him how to work it out. Well, here's the deal.
- 6:12Speaker 1: This is what I've learned. Prayer pays off in different ways.
- 6:16Speaker 1: There's a different return of my investment when I pray. See,
- 6:20Speaker 1: sometimes when I'm praying for something, a situation to dissolve,
- 6:25Speaker 1: itself or go away. Sometimes I get courage out of
- 6:30Speaker 1: the prayer. Prayer provides me courage that's just to go
- 6:36Speaker 1: on and look at it. I guess face it then.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives
- 6:46Speaker 1: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up
- 6:50Speaker 1: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you
- 6:54Speaker 1: laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to
- 6:58Speaker 1: laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it? Do you
- 7:05Speaker 1: know what that is? If you could do that, you know.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Sometimes it it gives you a show of strength power.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance that you
- 7:18Speaker 1: got it all together. Nobody got to know the world.
- 7:22Speaker 1: When the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in your life,
- 7:26Speaker 1: you're standing over that like the eye the hurricane you
- 7:29Speaker 1: and it's all swirling around you. But you're standing that
- 7:32Speaker 1: like the eye, you just as calm. That's what prayer does.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So when you pray, man, it builds up a lot
- 7:39Speaker 1: of things in you. You know what it's done for me.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Prayer has built up character in me. It's made me
- 7:45Speaker 1: have more character because I'm able to stand stronger on
- 7:48Speaker 1: the things I say because I've been praying because I've
- 7:52Speaker 1: been asking God for all of those return of investments.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I've been asking God for courage. I've been asking God
- 7:59Speaker 1: for hanging that power. I've been asking him to give
- 8:01Speaker 1: me the power to walk away. I've asked him to
- 8:04Speaker 1: give me ignored power. I've asking to help me laugh
- 8:07Speaker 1: at off. I've asked him to show me strength. But
- 8:09Speaker 1: you know what I was doing, I was really praying,
- 8:12Speaker 1: not really for them things be real with you. I
- 8:14Speaker 1: was asking them to help me, Lord, help me. You
- 8:17Speaker 1: ever done that? You ever asked God for help? And
- 8:19Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, a list of these things
- 8:21Speaker 1: show up. See, sometimes how you want the problem to
- 8:25Speaker 1: be solved ain't the best way. There's a lesson to
- 8:27Speaker 1: be learned when we make mistakes. And sometimes you got
- 8:30Speaker 1: to stay in that fire and you got to learn
- 8:32Speaker 1: that lesson. But guess what, though, when you come out
- 8:36Speaker 1: of it, you're gonna be better for it. You're gonna
- 8:38Speaker 1: know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray. He's solid.
- 8:42Speaker 1: His word is true, It lasts forever. He do what
- 8:44Speaker 1: he's say gonna do now all day, all night, twenty
- 8:49Speaker 1: four seven, he do it all day, all night, and
- 8:52Speaker 1: then some more. His word don't ever change. It is true.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It works for me. It worked for you. It worked
- 8:59Speaker 1: for Jake's It worked for Old Steam, It worked for
- 9:02Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin, It worked for Paula White, It worked for
- 9:06Speaker 1: Billy Graham, It worked for Mother Teresa, It worked for Gandhi,
- 9:11Speaker 1: It worked for the Princess Arabs. It worked, man, it
- 9:16Speaker 1: worked for you. What you're waiting for? Why don't you
- 9:20Speaker 1: put praying your game? Watch what happened to you? You're
- 9:23Speaker 1: sitting in that jail, celle, and you're struggling with it,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and they're telling you bloody and blood out. You can't
- 9:28Speaker 1: get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God
- 9:31Speaker 1: can get you out of anything. Look, man, if you
- 9:34Speaker 1: didn't read your Bible, he didn't got some people out
- 9:36Speaker 1: of some sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 9:38Speaker 1: If Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was
- 9:41Speaker 1: in the belly of the whale, what you're talking about?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Where you are? You just sitting in the sale with
- 9:44Speaker 1: some dudes round and you're talking about what they gonna do. Man,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you gotta be real. God, it can't nothing to do nothing.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Nobody can't nobody do nothing. To you. God won't give
- 9:53Speaker 1: you to strift to handle. Prayer changes things. Man. You're listening,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. It is here to Steve Harvey Marty
- 10:05Speaker 1: Show Live, vivid color rolled up this like, ah, today's
- 10:12Speaker 1: show is gonna be like oh oh, I would say
- 10:16Speaker 1: like a fruit roll up, but I've never had one
- 10:19Speaker 1: so and they don't look like they taste that good.
- 10:23Speaker 1: So we're gonna use it. We're gonna kill that. Are
- 10:26Speaker 1: they good shot? I'm gonna you know what I used
- 10:30Speaker 1: to love, the old pop tarts. We're gonna have a
- 10:33Speaker 1: pop tart morning brown, maple, cinnamon, sugar, who Shirley Strawberry.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I never liked pop tarts, but I know a lot
- 10:43Speaker 1: of people who did. Yeah, straight out to toasting. I
- 10:46Speaker 1: thought I had something right there. Anyway, Good morning, Steve,
- 10:51Speaker 1: pop tart to you. That's right, Colin for real, good morning,
- 10:55Speaker 1: good morning. And I love me some pop tarts. Show dude, Junior,
- 11:02Speaker 1: uh strawberry strawberry hot, that's of course, Dolly Nephew, Tommy
- 11:09Speaker 1: yet gay pop tart it every ninety at ninety and
- 11:13Speaker 1: I pop tart. I ain't had a pop tarting years. Yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: that's like twinkie. When the last time you had a Twinkie? Well,
- 11:22Speaker 1: if you have kids, you eat them. I had a
- 11:24Speaker 1: pop tart the other day, so there you go. What
- 11:27Speaker 1: about a twinkie tin doll? No judging? When last time
- 11:34Speaker 1: I had a twink Yeah, I ain't had a twink
- 11:37Speaker 1: ye I don't even tell you what I did have though,
- 11:44Speaker 1: well not recently, but when I was driving up on
- 11:47Speaker 1: the highway a moon path. Oh, I used about moon
- 11:51Speaker 1: pies just to stay away moon pot and a joke
- 11:55Speaker 1: Cola girl, Well that's sugar on top of sugar. Mix
- 12:00Speaker 1: it all kinds of sweets. I need that, just more
- 12:03Speaker 1: to tell you the truth. Okay, I mean I gonna
- 12:09Speaker 1: ride that hi, that sugar him. Yeah, it's hard to
- 12:17Speaker 1: make sweets sometimes, not when I was young. Oh okay,
- 12:22Speaker 1: because one cancels out the other, right, yea, How you
- 12:25Speaker 1: gonna cancel out candy if you don't, you know, I
- 12:30Speaker 1: like if you eat something a doughnut with the soda
- 12:32Speaker 1: or something. Oh yeah, you do that all time, AUSI
- 12:36Speaker 1: Cola and a hostess cherry apple pie. No, yes, sodas
- 12:42Speaker 1: went with like chips and stuff. But look at me, delicious, delicious.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I don't delicious care. I don't like mixing my sweets
- 12:56Speaker 1: like that. What I had was something. If I had
- 13:00Speaker 1: something sweet, I had to have something savory assault too
- 13:03Speaker 1: with it. I didn't understand. I didn't understand putting putting
- 13:06Speaker 1: salt on the water that doesn't didn't make sist. It
- 13:09Speaker 1: was ship though. Boy got a grateful salt watermelon sugar
- 13:15Speaker 1: with a great fruit. Salt pepper on a watermelon, not
- 13:20Speaker 1: a hat. Well, so y'all wouldn't poise me. So you
- 13:25Speaker 1: had to turn a lot of stuff into meals. Oh
- 13:32Speaker 1: that was like a steak, Steve, you gotta get some flavor.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, it
- 13:40Speaker 1: is time for ask the cello. Right after this, you're listening,
- 13:47Speaker 1: all right, It's time to ask the clo. Our chief
- 13:50Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building. This one
- 13:54Speaker 1: is from Tina in Seattle. Tina writes, I'm forty four
- 13:57Speaker 1: years old and my husband is fifty four. He's in
- 13:59Speaker 1: a men's organization, and we have a lot of social
- 14:02Speaker 1: engagements that we attend. The otherwise are very bougie, and
- 14:06Speaker 1: I feel as though I don't fit in because I
- 14:08Speaker 1: don't wear brand names and designer labels like they do.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I've told my husband that I'm uncomfortable, and he suggested
- 14:15Speaker 1: I get my makeup professionally done for the next event
- 14:19Speaker 1: and get a stylust to help me shop. I'm not
- 14:22Speaker 1: that type of woman, and I don't enjoy these events.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Should I try to please him by fitting in? Well, listen,
- 14:31Speaker 1: you don't have to do nothing. You an adult woman.
- 14:34Speaker 1: You get to make decisions yourself. If you don't like it,
- 14:36Speaker 1: don't go. But now, somebody down that dressed up, somebody
- 14:42Speaker 1: down there with the makeup one, that's the other side
- 14:44Speaker 1: of the game. You know, that's what he liked. That's
- 14:47Speaker 1: what he won't Now if you don't want to give
- 14:49Speaker 1: it to him. Once again, absolutely your priority. You do
- 14:53Speaker 1: not have to somebody down a demian's order, say, got
- 14:59Speaker 1: all that professionally doing stylish? Maybe maybe maybe he said,
- 15:04Speaker 1: well I liked that. I wish my girl did that. Now,
- 15:07Speaker 1: once again, you don't have to. Maybe you wanted them
- 15:10Speaker 1: people that think he got to take you the way
- 15:12Speaker 1: he is. You know you could do that kind of woman. Well,
- 15:16Speaker 1: you know you ain't that kind of woman. Okay, that's cool,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I ain't. Man, that's your sister you don't have to
- 15:21Speaker 1: be I think she should try it. Yeah, last my suggestion,
- 15:26Speaker 1: but you know, once again, I can't. You know, I
- 15:28Speaker 1: hadn't been a lot of HR meetings, so I know
- 15:30Speaker 1: not to say certain things. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, alright,
- 15:38Speaker 1: gonna do like you want to, all right. Tina, moving
- 15:41Speaker 1: on Kennedy and Detroit, says, my boyfriend and I have
- 15:46Speaker 1: been together for a few years and we're open and
- 15:48Speaker 1: honest about everything. He said. I am the love of
- 15:52Speaker 1: his life. But he often mentions how he broke up
- 15:54Speaker 1: his broke his last girlfriend's heart by cheating on her.
- 15:58Speaker 1: He told me he did her one day recently to
- 16:01Speaker 1: see how she's doing and to make sure she doesn't
- 16:03Speaker 1: still hate him. Is it normal for him to want
- 16:06Speaker 1: to fix things with her? Yeah? Got that, man, I'm
- 16:14Speaker 1: someone sella. I'm tell me what you're talking about. I'm listening.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm listening. You know now you're saying something. What's He
- 16:24Speaker 1: feels bad for what he's done, so he wants to
- 16:26Speaker 1: at least apologize. He's moved on. He got a new girl. No, no,
- 16:30Speaker 1: you don't see that now. That ain't what he's doing.
- 16:34Speaker 1: What he called to see if she still hate him?
- 16:36Speaker 1: Because if she don't, he got some conversation for you
- 16:39Speaker 1: want to go back? Dogs ain't no man. Men don't
- 16:42Speaker 1: even do clothes, and he ain't trying to get clothes.
- 16:45Speaker 1: You want to see if she's still hated it, and
- 16:47Speaker 1: if she don't, then what where we go after that?
- 16:52Speaker 1: I ain't with it though, So the girlfriend's question, is
- 16:54Speaker 1: it normal for him to want to fix things with her?
- 16:58Speaker 1: To her, you say fix for what? Fix it for what?
- 17:03Speaker 1: You cheated on a girl, you broke her heart? What
- 17:06Speaker 1: you want to fix what? You could say, I'm sorry,
- 17:08Speaker 1: but you probably tried that already. Remember, well, yeah, yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: so it's not normal for a guy to want to
- 17:18Speaker 1: do that. That's the answer to her question that Frankie
- 17:27Speaker 1: and Charlotte says. I'm a thirty three year old married
- 17:30Speaker 1: woman and I'm in a situation with my husband's stepfather.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I had a baby three months ago and his stepdad
- 17:36Speaker 1: has been watching the baby for us because a babysitter
- 17:39Speaker 1: has COVID. I went to get the baby yesterday and
- 17:41Speaker 1: he said, as fine as I am, he's sure my
- 17:44Speaker 1: husband will knock me up with baby number two soon.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I was disgusted, and I want to tell my husband,
- 17:50Speaker 1: But I know better. Should I tell my mother in
- 17:53Speaker 1: law about this or not? M? I mean what did
- 17:57Speaker 1: he do? He said, you find it heck, and he
- 18:01Speaker 1: know your husband gonna knock you up with baby number two.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That's what the complaint is. Yeah, yeah, okay, she was
- 18:07Speaker 1: disgusted by that. I understand that. But what what what
- 18:11Speaker 1: what you want to do though? Old ass dude said
- 18:15Speaker 1: something to you? I mean what, I don't see what
- 18:19Speaker 1: he said? Fine as you is, I know he's gonna
- 18:21Speaker 1: knock you up with baby number two. That disgusted you.
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's a pass. She didn't like it. It made her
- 18:30Speaker 1: feel uncomfortable. Well, if you go and tell the mother
- 18:33Speaker 1: in law what she gonna say, you is kind of
- 18:35Speaker 1: fine though that's all herman. He do that, That's all
- 18:39Speaker 1: that is not herman, girl. Herman been saying that type
- 18:46Speaker 1: thing the women since we was we were sixteen. M.
- 18:53Speaker 1: So should she tell her husband about a step down? No?
- 18:56Speaker 1: I mean what you're gonna tell him? I mean you
- 18:59Speaker 1: could telling? Yeah, I mean okay, telling, But I mean
- 19:04Speaker 1: I don't understand what. What's she's so upset about. She
- 19:09Speaker 1: didn't like it, obviously, it made her uncomfortable, you know, Okay,
- 19:13Speaker 1: just ain't in the workplace. Well, it doesn't have to
- 19:17Speaker 1: be in the workplace. It could be anywhere. If you
- 19:19Speaker 1: feel uncomfortable about something someone says to you, especially an
- 19:23Speaker 1: older man, surely I understand that. But if we ain't
- 19:26Speaker 1: no HR department in your family, right, you still gotta
- 19:31Speaker 1: be respectful. But she she feels uncomfortable, so she wants
- 19:35Speaker 1: to know should she tell someone? All right, yeah, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: tell you her stepdad, right, But I don't they're gonna
- 19:43Speaker 1: play that off as I just told her. She was fine.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I know he gonna knock up with baby number two.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Maybe it was the way he said it or something.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I probably was to be an old ass black dude.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Come on now, and you and you didn't dropped the
- 19:59Speaker 1: baby off at his house. You went over to his house.
- 20:03Speaker 1: He said something in his house. True, he probably sounded
- 20:07Speaker 1: like dumb, like that dirty old man there. You probably
- 20:10Speaker 1: started you will knock you again with two tenors? It
- 20:26Speaker 1: right there? This got stating. I don't think we have
- 20:31Speaker 1: time for another one. But since when you got time?
- 20:35Speaker 1: What color lipstick is that you got on that labing
- 20:37Speaker 1: the hood? Is that is that food? Let's go to
- 20:47Speaker 1: go to brain coming up next, the nephew would run
- 20:50Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening show coming
- 20:56Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour of Missannah standing
- 20:59Speaker 1: by with Today's now news. But right now the nephews here,
- 21:02Speaker 1: we'd run that prank back. What you got for his
- 21:04Speaker 1: nast I left my comb and brush. I left my
- 21:09Speaker 1: comb and brush. Let's go catch dog. If you who hello, Hello,
- 21:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach listen, Yeah, listen, hey, listen. My
- 21:18Speaker 1: name La Sean. Uh. Did you have a uncle had
- 21:22Speaker 1: passed away named yep? Huh all right here your uncle right, Yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 1: that's my uncle. We were at him about three and
- 21:30Speaker 1: a half months ago. Right. What reason why I was
- 21:32Speaker 1: calling was I'm the person that actually cut your uncle
- 21:37Speaker 1: hal when he passed away. Okay, so the reason why
- 21:41Speaker 1: I was calling is, uh, the situation is when I
- 21:45Speaker 1: cut his hair. And I know you don't know the
- 21:47Speaker 1: history about me, but my daddy and my granddaddy was
- 21:51Speaker 1: was bablus. We are barb us. Okay, get come on, bro,
- 21:54Speaker 1: get down because the bub because you talk my my
- 21:56Speaker 1: uncle man and I'm trying to see what's going on
- 21:58Speaker 1: for its Okay, I'm sorry to call you like this,
- 22:01Speaker 1: but what I'm telling you is that my granddad and
- 22:04Speaker 1: my dad, they Dad passed down a brush and a
- 22:06Speaker 1: comb to me. Okay, that is like a sentimental value. Okay,
- 22:12Speaker 1: But for the for the last two to three months,
- 22:15Speaker 1: I ain't been able to find the comb and the
- 22:18Speaker 1: brush that I used what I had cut here now okay,
- 22:23Speaker 1: So okay, And what I was trying to call and
- 22:25Speaker 1: tell you was it that I can't find it? And
- 22:28Speaker 1: I'm almost certain what I'm trying to see. What I'm
- 22:32Speaker 1: gonna kid, what many kids school? So? So what can
- 22:34Speaker 1: I do to help you find Cole brother father? That's
- 22:37Speaker 1: what I'm saying. When I did miss have and edged
- 22:40Speaker 1: it up at the funeral home, that's the last time
- 22:42Speaker 1: I remember having it, dude, three months so many right right?
- 22:46Speaker 1: It is about three months ago. What I'm trying to
- 22:49Speaker 1: say is I left the comb and brush and you
- 22:51Speaker 1: know what, went to the funeral home and did his hair, Okay,
- 22:55Speaker 1: And I talked to the funeral home and they told
- 22:58Speaker 1: me that, you know, if I'm trying to final Coma
- 23:00Speaker 1: brou I gotta get permission. What code is the Coma brush?
- 23:04Speaker 1: What's the color of the Comba bus black? That both
- 23:06Speaker 1: from black the comb and black and hard. You got
- 23:09Speaker 1: all kind of combs that black and gold man. No, no, See,
- 23:13Speaker 1: what I'm saying is the coman brush is black, and
- 23:16Speaker 1: I know I lost it, but I'm almost certain about
- 23:19Speaker 1: where it is. Okay, So if you're certain about where
- 23:22Speaker 1: it is, why you call it. That's the reason why
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm calling you, because I'm almost certainly out left with him.
- 23:29Speaker 1: You're listening with my Then, so I called funeral. They
- 23:33Speaker 1: told me I need to call you in order to
- 23:35Speaker 1: get permission to get it. Oh, call you, call funerals,
- 23:39Speaker 1: get permission from me that you can go get the
- 23:41Speaker 1: coman brush from where the funeral when you can go
- 23:45Speaker 1: down there, say God, no, no, no, I see the
- 23:48Speaker 1: comben brush ain't with the funeral. The comb and brush
- 23:52Speaker 1: is in there with your uncle. The comb and brush
- 23:57Speaker 1: in the can with the you don't know on the
- 24:01Speaker 1: other stage. You got to say that again. What what
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm trying to say to you is that the combe
- 24:06Speaker 1: and brush is in I'm trying to say. You just
- 24:09Speaker 1: say what I'm trying it the comb and brush is
- 24:12Speaker 1: in the casket with your uncle. Since then, lad is
- 24:16Speaker 1: six feet Let's see what I'm trying to say is
- 24:18Speaker 1: that the comban brother is sentimental value. To me, bro
- 24:22Speaker 1: it couldn't have been too value. But if you lost it,
- 24:25Speaker 1: what now what it want got value? You know my work?
- 24:28Speaker 1: So I just really got caught up in my work. Really,
- 24:32Speaker 1: if you talk about Tiller left with my uncle that
- 24:34Speaker 1: did three months ago, man, what color is you talking about?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Brod All. I'm trying to do what you would see
- 24:40Speaker 1: if if you don't mind, approven for them to brain
- 24:44Speaker 1: the body up so I can get the comb and brush.
- 24:48Speaker 1: You know what's about it for comba. But but see,
- 24:52Speaker 1: but what I'm trying to explain it this sentimental value.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to get you out of the brain the
- 24:56Speaker 1: body of so I can get my comb and brush
- 24:58Speaker 1: out of it. Because, like I saying, my dad and
- 25:01Speaker 1: my granddaddy was bo. This whole thing is sentimentally. You're
- 25:04Speaker 1: talking about my dead uncle, man, and you're talking about
- 25:06Speaker 1: bringing him up out of the ground for comb. Man.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I just got these to start crying around here, and
- 25:13Speaker 1: and I understand what y'all going through as as a
- 25:15Speaker 1: family and stuff. She No, I'm trying to get my
- 25:18Speaker 1: combing brother and how you trying to go about doing
- 25:21Speaker 1: this all? Throw it off on boy, because ain't nobody
- 25:23Speaker 1: digging up nobody to bring back no no brush man.
- 25:26Speaker 1: You look. Got me tissed off now, mane because you're
- 25:28Speaker 1: calling me talking stupid Mane. You talk, I put on
- 25:31Speaker 1: my mom huncle man, that's man that's got sim Look man,
- 25:33Speaker 1: I ain't trying to start NOCA. You're talking like comban
- 25:36Speaker 1: brushman only. But I understand all that. But this is
- 25:39Speaker 1: sentimental value. Man in the middle of me. Man, just
- 25:43Speaker 1: something that my people little sentimental to me. Okay, one
- 25:46Speaker 1: of my favorite uncle man. Okay, you talk about putting
- 25:49Speaker 1: up this body. Man, I got pall boy. Hey, man, man,
- 25:52Speaker 1: I'm I don't want to give because uncle man, that's long. Man.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You shouldn't know how you got putted mane. And we
- 25:57Speaker 1: don't get out like this here, Man, I ain't sitting
- 26:00Speaker 1: and argue with you. Look, I got some tea. Hey,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I got some men. I mean when you're staying let
- 26:06Speaker 1: me say this, man, I got some people that's here
- 26:08Speaker 1: with me right now. You know, some of my friends.
- 26:11Speaker 1: And we got some shovels so I can actually go
- 26:14Speaker 1: over and and go on and get the caller. Nah.
- 26:17Speaker 1: And in the morning, ain't nobody gonna even know. You
- 26:19Speaker 1: ain't gonna gonna get now, but with the wrong board.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Say what you don't get you don't dig. We're going
- 26:26Speaker 1: to get a comb and I got him sailing with too.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You're talking about going si test co dig A hey man,
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna go on and tell you this like here,
- 26:34Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm trying to get my comb and brush back.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I ain't trying to have no problems with you, but
- 26:40Speaker 1: I want my comb and put them as you think
- 26:42Speaker 1: you're talking to them. Man go wrong, groom going wrong, great,
- 26:46Speaker 1: boul warm safe, cool. They got him about I ain't know,
- 26:51Speaker 1: ain't nobody. This mayn't even about your uncle. That's longer
- 26:54Speaker 1: than that. This You got the lord to be holing
- 26:57Speaker 1: in me a nobody howling at you? Man, I'm telling you,
- 27:01Speaker 1: I gotta call in Bush and your uncle Khaki, and
- 27:04Speaker 1: I want my press what he did want that you
- 27:06Speaker 1: might with dig too? Say what the bush? Then you're
- 27:10Speaker 1: gonna find right over in there brown. So you're trying
- 27:13Speaker 1: to do You're trying to dig. A grateful man. This
- 27:16Speaker 1: thing I've been trying to get these really stop crying, O, Bay,
- 27:22Speaker 1: I didn't with his body. I didn't baby, boy, I
- 27:28Speaker 1: understand what you're gonna do. I do, I do it.
- 27:33Speaker 1: I told you I know what cry is head and
- 27:36Speaker 1: I want you gonna have like a couple digging or
- 27:38Speaker 1: somebody about it man over calling or bush. I got it.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I just try to call you like a man because
- 27:46Speaker 1: I want to get the commen brush. And I didn't
- 27:49Speaker 1: want to go with I get your permission now, but
- 27:51Speaker 1: I gotta go without getting your permission. Are always read?
- 27:55Speaker 1: You don't know me? The crying with reading. Here's your
- 27:59Speaker 1: card with reading sent them miss the man? Just cride
- 28:02Speaker 1: with me? You dead, you'll go. I want to say
- 28:07Speaker 1: something else to you. You are you listening Tommy from
- 28:14Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just not pranked by
- 28:18Speaker 1: your boss? Right? Hello? You just praked by your brs.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Got a brush of the cars hood? Who I think
- 28:43Speaker 1: I needed that cry? And man, I gotta ask you, man,
- 28:49Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land? You know,
- 28:54Speaker 1: like the notice morning? Did I get your man? Um
- 29:00Speaker 1: le give me ate the word right coming up at
- 29:08Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment and
- 29:10Speaker 1: national news for you. Right after this. You're listening to
- 29:13Speaker 1: the Stave Harvey Morning show in Celebrity divorce News, while
- 29:19Speaker 1: things are getting ugly eug ly between Gary Owen and
- 29:24Speaker 1: his estranged wife Kenya, Kenya is putting it all out
- 29:27Speaker 1: there in social media. She called Gary a deadbeat dad
- 29:30Speaker 1: who hasn't seen this kid in months. And this all
- 29:33Speaker 1: started when Gary posted a picture of him wearing a
- 29:35Speaker 1: T shirt that said breadwinner. Kenya went in with a
- 29:39Speaker 1: lengthy post saying she was more of the breadwinner throughout
- 29:44Speaker 1: the twenty three years they were together. She went on
- 29:46Speaker 1: to say that Gary hasn't seen his kids in months
- 29:49Speaker 1: and she felt disrespected by his post. Kenya also just
- 29:53Speaker 1: filed that she wants forty four thousand dollars a month
- 29:56Speaker 1: in spousal support. She said that Gary would have three
- 29:59Speaker 1: d thousand dollars six hundred thousand dollars checks from his
- 30:02Speaker 1: comedy shows just lying around the hot laying around the house,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and would post them whenever he wanted to Wait, wait, wait, wait, wow,
- 30:11Speaker 1: Gary got three hundred and six hundred you heard I've
- 30:15Speaker 1: been performing the same damn playing Geary going, what is
- 30:18Speaker 1: they playing here? Three hundred and six hundred thousand dollars.
- 30:20Speaker 1: We gave the same damn clubs, same listen to me.
- 30:25Speaker 1: That's he got the sweetest club deal I've ever heard
- 30:28Speaker 1: of it in my tire career. Sad Sinbad would make
- 30:33Speaker 1: that kind of money. Come we go to the same
- 30:36Speaker 1: place as Gary go. Why we made him much time?
- 30:39Speaker 1: So got out the store. You do the math. If
- 30:43Speaker 1: it's three hundred thousand dollars and it's three hundred seats
- 30:47Speaker 1: in there, tickets got to be a thousand dollars to
- 30:52Speaker 1: see Gary and we were here every morning. A little
- 30:59Speaker 1: salty in your huh. Well, anyway, his wife, I don't know.
- 31:07Speaker 1: It ain't anyway. Me and Tommy going through something. I
- 31:13Speaker 1: don't know what y'all are failures was making three and
- 31:17Speaker 1: six hundred thousand dollars for club dates. Four hundred thousand dollars, dog,
- 31:22Speaker 1: you will be out there every week. Wait a minute,
- 31:25Speaker 1: how many money? Why you ain't back out here? Why
- 31:31Speaker 1: you ain't back out hire six hundred thousands? Why you
- 31:34Speaker 1: ain't back out here? But wait a minute, that's what
- 31:40Speaker 1: you guys got out of it. This is where we
- 31:42Speaker 1: got out of it. He's making that kind of money
- 31:44Speaker 1: and she's only asking for forty four thousand dollars saying
- 31:48Speaker 1: that's what we got out of it. For ladies, I'm
- 31:51Speaker 1: gonna tell you we want another direction. YEA six hundred thousand, Yeah, yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 1: that's a lot of money. He got a laying around,
- 32:03Speaker 1: just laying around from his comedy shows. That's what his
- 32:06Speaker 1: wife said in her post, Well We're moving on. And
- 32:09Speaker 1: other entertainment news, Mariah Carey is slamming the rumors that
- 32:12Speaker 1: she and jay Z got into a heated argument because
- 32:15Speaker 1: she decided to leave Rock Nations management. Mariah posted, the
- 32:20Speaker 1: only explosive situation I'd ever get into with Hove is
- 32:24Speaker 1: creative tangent such as our number one song Heartbreaker. To
- 32:28Speaker 1: the people who make up these lies, I say, poof Vemus,
- 32:32Speaker 1: son of a blank, there you go, there you go,
- 32:36Speaker 1: there her alone. So Mariah and Hove are not beef in.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Those two people don't even have that type of demeanor
- 32:46Speaker 1: about themselves, right. I mean, I could see if they,
- 32:50Speaker 1: you know, have some difference, some creative differences. But come
- 32:54Speaker 1: on now, not to explosive situations. Anybody that story you
- 33:05Speaker 1: to that comedy clus they're scraping down cold paper dog
- 33:11Speaker 1: both All right, Steve, time for headlines. I'm would just
- 33:19Speaker 1: announce miss A and Trip so I can talk to
- 33:22Speaker 1: these two failures. Anyway, This is entroput Todus. Good morning everybody.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Oh boy, and I got to come with the serious stuff.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Vice President Kamala Harris met with Guatemala's president in Guatemala
- 33:38Speaker 1: City yesterday with the aim of finding ways to stem
- 33:41Speaker 1: the migration out of the country to the US, and
- 33:43Speaker 1: she was kind of blunt. The goal of our work
- 33:46Speaker 1: is to help Guatemalans find hope at home. At the
- 33:51Speaker 1: same time, I want to be clear to folks in
- 33:54Speaker 1: this region who are thinking about making that dangerous track
- 33:58Speaker 1: to the United States Mexico border, do not come. And
- 34:02Speaker 1: she repeated that, do not come. The Vice President says
- 34:05Speaker 1: she and the Guatemalan leader discussed lessening poverty and corruption
- 34:09Speaker 1: in that country, which would thereby give people a reason
- 34:11Speaker 1: to stay and not leave. The Vice President to do
- 34:14Speaker 1: in Mexico City today on the same mission. Meanwhile, the
- 34:16Speaker 1: Supreme Courts dished out some bad news here for the
- 34:19Speaker 1: thousands of people who came here to this country illegally
- 34:22Speaker 1: and say they need to be able to stay here
- 34:24Speaker 1: for humanitarian reasons. The High Court has rule that TPS
- 34:28Speaker 1: that's temporary protected status is just that temporary, so that
- 34:33Speaker 1: those currently under TPS will not be allowed to apply
- 34:36Speaker 1: for green cards to remain in the US permanently. They
- 34:38Speaker 1: will not. Thousands of immigrants are allowed to stay in
- 34:41Speaker 1: the country temporarily because of crises in their home countries
- 34:45Speaker 1: and things like war and natural disasters. Sometimes it's gang
- 34:48Speaker 1: activity they're able to prove. But again the right, the
- 34:53Speaker 1: right leaning Supreme Court says that TPS, or temporary protected stay,
- 34:57Speaker 1: this is just that temporary. Man in Springfield, Illinois is
- 35:01Speaker 1: suing the police department there over an incident took place
- 35:03Speaker 1: last year. His name is D'artavious Barnes. He says he
- 35:06Speaker 1: was stopped by white cops in April of twenty twenty
- 35:08Speaker 1: four allegedly speeding. He was handcuffed, put in a squad car,
- 35:13Speaker 1: and when the police searched his car, they claimed they
- 35:15Speaker 1: found a huge jar of marijuana and took it out
- 35:17Speaker 1: to have attested well. Barnes says it was in the
- 35:20Speaker 1: jar it was an urn containing the ashes of his
- 35:23Speaker 1: recently deceased daughter. He's suing them for desecrating her remains.
- 35:28Speaker 1: If white cops haven't looked bad enough these days for them,
- 35:31Speaker 1: in a kind of swat like uniforms and two dogs
- 35:33Speaker 1: posed for a picture with a captured black robbery suspect.
- 35:36Speaker 1: These is a bunch of apprentice Mississippi cops. They had
- 35:38Speaker 1: the black man's shirt off and it looked like a
- 35:40Speaker 1: real fugitive slave situation. Everybody was running around grinning and
- 35:44Speaker 1: of sad news, exciting and Gavitt mclaud after the play,
- 35:54Speaker 1: Captain Stubbing has died. Gavin mclaud was ninety years old.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:00Speaker 1: Steven Show. All right, guys, so here's some financial questions
- 36:04Speaker 1: for you. You have extra money at the end of
- 36:07Speaker 1: the week or at the end of the month, what's
- 36:10Speaker 1: your instinct? Is your instinct to look for something to
- 36:13Speaker 1: spend that money on. Are you excited to put that
- 36:16Speaker 1: money away in savings or or do you automatically look
- 36:21Speaker 1: to pay down some debt? All right, so Steve, you're
- 36:24Speaker 1: where the money resides. You can go first or you
- 36:26Speaker 1: can go last. We'll go ahead. I'm stacking it. I'm
- 36:29Speaker 1: putting it in. Yeah, I knew that would be your end.
- 36:34Speaker 1: So you're you're excited to put the money in your savings? Yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 1: if you have extra money at the saving of the
- 36:40Speaker 1: week or at the end of the month. Okay, junior,
- 36:43Speaker 1: you're next. What do you want? Do you want to
- 36:47Speaker 1: spend it? Do you want to say? Why should? Why?
- 36:51Speaker 1: Y'all see me here, been myself for a year. I'm
- 36:54Speaker 1: not here for latest dinner dinner? Who won't dinner dinner?
- 36:59Speaker 1: Come on, I got it. Hey, I'm starting. I'm so
- 37:05Speaker 1: you're gonna spend yours? Okay, girl, y'all see my truck
- 37:09Speaker 1: is paid up. Stupid all right? Come on? Where the
- 37:17Speaker 1: money reside? Well, I mean to be honest, my initial
- 37:22Speaker 1: inclination is to go buy something. Yeah, within the better
- 37:26Speaker 1: judgment of me says I don't put it away. I
- 37:30Speaker 1: always look to it invested in. Saving money is fine,
- 37:35Speaker 1: nothing wrong with it at all. But I look for
- 37:38Speaker 1: investments all the time. And I mean, like, if you
- 37:41Speaker 1: if you're a common person, just a regular working person,
- 37:45Speaker 1: you know, the acorn app is a great thing to
- 37:48Speaker 1: get where all of your change rounds up to the
- 37:51Speaker 1: nearest dollar, or you can make an arrangement where they
- 37:53Speaker 1: take out more, but all of your change can be
- 37:56Speaker 1: put into an account they invested for you. Stuff like
- 37:59Speaker 1: that out there, man, where okay, Like, for example, you
- 38:02Speaker 1: pay a card you got Acorn, and you pay your
- 38:05Speaker 1: card through your Acorn app. And let's say you pay
- 38:09Speaker 1: it with the twenty dollars you know, something costs you know,
- 38:13Speaker 1: thirty dollars and forty eight cent. Well, they'll round it up.
- 38:16Speaker 1: You could say, round it up to the nearest five
- 38:18Speaker 1: or the nearest ten dollars or the nearest dollars. Let's
- 38:21Speaker 1: say you spend thirty two and you say round it
- 38:23Speaker 1: up to the nearest tenth. Then they'll charge you forty dollars,
- 38:27Speaker 1: but they'll take the eight dollars and put it in
- 38:29Speaker 1: an investment and count for you. Oh nice, nice. Or
- 38:32Speaker 1: you could say round it up to the nearest dollars
- 38:34Speaker 1: and you spend thirty four twenty five, they'll put seventy
- 38:37Speaker 1: five cent in the investment. And that's a smart way
- 38:40Speaker 1: to grow your money instead of just safe. That suggests
- 38:43Speaker 1: a suggestion. Yeah, so so your your initial instinct would
- 38:47Speaker 1: be suspended. But hell yeah, you're yeah, but you're dog.
- 38:54Speaker 1: I've been everybody on the show. I've been everybody on
- 39:00Speaker 1: this damn and I've been some places y'all ain't being
- 39:06Speaker 1: beload of poverty line. I've been in the dark y'all
- 39:08Speaker 1: ain't seen, so don't ask me that, Junie. You ain't
- 39:12Speaker 1: little big, No, you ain't never been. All right, coming
- 39:15Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna
- 39:17Speaker 1: talk about June being Black Music month. Right after this,
- 39:21Speaker 1: you're listening to Save Harvey Morning Show. Well, we all
- 39:25Speaker 1: know it's here. June, June, June is here in a
- 39:28Speaker 1: June is Black music month. Uh. And we celebrate black
- 39:32Speaker 1: music every June. Um. And so what we're asking you, guys,
- 39:36Speaker 1: dude's name the five songs? Uh, the five songs that
- 39:40Speaker 1: make you turn up the volume. I don't care where
- 39:42Speaker 1: you are, just turn it up. That's my song, that's
- 39:45Speaker 1: my jam. Whatever. See your five your top five songs.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Humpty Dance, Sumpty Dance, Humpty Dance, Umpty Dance, Umpty dance. Okay,
- 39:59Speaker 1: June Shirt, Okay, Humpty dance, Let's see, Okay, Humpty Dance,

- 45:30Speaker 1: needs to be paid, but well, I'm giving you a call.
- 45:32Speaker 1: He asked me to call his wife to see if
- 45:34Speaker 1: you would actually come and pick him up. So it's
- 45:37Speaker 1: a two hundred and fifty dollars fine doing something like
- 45:39Speaker 1: you're there. Yes, we do need two hundred and fifty
- 45:42Speaker 1: dollar fine. Oh say lord, because I don't. I don't
- 45:45Speaker 1: have it. I'm not to call his mom and get it.
- 45:47Speaker 1: What is he there for? Uh? He was in decent exposure, ma'am.
- 45:52Speaker 1: He was in a park. Are you familiar with Lakeside Park? Yeah? Okay,
- 45:57Speaker 1: he was out at Lakeside Park and he was indecent exposure.
- 46:01Speaker 1: He had no clothes on. He was with another person,
- 46:05Speaker 1: another female, out there, and they had no clothes. One
- 46:09Speaker 1: hole the hell up. You had make a big mistake
- 46:12Speaker 1: because Calvin supposed to h work. That's what hell. Calvin's

- 46:25Speaker 1: police officer man that actually brought them in. They're both
- 46:28Speaker 1: were brought in here. Um about two hours ago. He's

- 46:48Speaker 1: She's on the woman women's side. Okay, can you get
- 46:50Speaker 1: that name? I do not have her name in front
- 46:53Speaker 1: of me. I will be able to have that a
- 46:54Speaker 1: little later or um. But right now, I think more importantly,
- 46:58Speaker 1: he's he's actually sitting in a hole take with no
- 47:00Speaker 1: clothes on. So I wait a minute. I mean Calvin
- 47:03Speaker 1: then lost this guy nine. I'm not coming to pick
- 47:07Speaker 1: him up on that. Let me tell you what you
- 47:10Speaker 1: need to be killing Calvin. You need to tell Calvin
- 47:12Speaker 1: that he needs to come up with two hundred and
- 47:14Speaker 1: fifty dollars to get his cousin he just got itself then,
- 47:17Speaker 1: and then you need to come up with some more

- 47:51Speaker 1: his face up that naked and then and it didn't
- 47:54Speaker 1: and then she hit him, explaining that yeah, but yeah,
- 47:56Speaker 1: come you kill Calvin Teping and make sure you tell
- 47:59Speaker 1: him that I sit. Did he get him? Something about
- 48:01Speaker 1: the situation. I'm not going to get him. And thank you? Okay, Uh,
- 48:09Speaker 1: miss miss Bree, all right, I just got some paperwork
- 48:13Speaker 1: in here about who the actual female he he was
- 48:18Speaker 1: arrested with. She was also out there at Lakeside Park.

- 54:02Speaker 1: you here. It is a Strawberry letter. Thank you. Few subjects.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Is this considered cheating or not? Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 54:10Speaker 1: been in a relationship for four years and my boyfriend
- 54:12Speaker 1: and I lived three hours apart. We've always been in
- 54:17Speaker 1: a long distance relationship and I thought everything was fine
- 54:22Speaker 1: until recently. He started talking about marriage after we dated
- 54:26Speaker 1: two years, and he said he would gladly move to
- 54:29Speaker 1: Philly to be with me. I got all excited about marriage,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and I started preparing myself emotionally and financially to be
- 54:35Speaker 1: with him for the rest of my life. Then last
- 54:39Speaker 1: year he started saying that the distance was killing him
- 54:42Speaker 1: and sometimes he just wanted to lie next to me
- 54:44Speaker 1: and hold me until he goes to sleep, but he
- 54:48Speaker 1: can't because I lived so far away. I thought that
- 54:51Speaker 1: he would go ahead and propose, but he hasn't. I
- 54:54Speaker 1: started visiting him more, but he made excuses when it
- 54:57Speaker 1: was time to come see me a few times. I
- 55:00Speaker 1: didn't want us to grow apart, so I did whatever
- 55:03Speaker 1: I could to keep the sparks flying in the bedroom.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I was visiting him one weekend and there was a
- 55:11Speaker 1: towel on the back seat and I needed to put
- 55:13Speaker 1: groceries in the car. I picked up the towel and
- 55:17Speaker 1: it was this. It was crusty and stiff, and I
- 55:21Speaker 1: am no fool, so I know what it looked like.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I thought it was incredibly tacky of him to leave
- 55:27Speaker 1: it in the car, and no matter what that substance
- 55:30Speaker 1: was on it. I asked him about it, and he
- 55:33Speaker 1: confirmed my thoughts. He said he went out a week
- 55:37Speaker 1: or so before before I got there, and a female
- 55:40Speaker 1: friend of his helped him out orally. He said he
- 55:43Speaker 1: didn't return the favor to her, but she willingly did him.
- 55:47Speaker 1: He said, it's not like he cheated, and it helped
- 55:50Speaker 1: him out because he missed making love to me. I
- 55:54Speaker 1: was livid, and all he kept saying, was he did
- 55:57Speaker 1: this for us and it's not cheating? I have needs too,
- 56:02Speaker 1: but I've never had a quick hookup with my male friend.
- 56:05Speaker 1: Is this cheating or not? Should I break up with him? Yes?
- 56:11Speaker 1: Come on, this is really cheating. Did he actually fix
- 56:15Speaker 1: his mouth to say he did this for us? For
- 56:18Speaker 1: the both of you? If it has a word sex
- 56:22Speaker 1: in it, it's cheating. Okay, it is cheating. But I
- 56:26Speaker 1: don't understand this relationship anyway, I really don't. You're doing
- 56:30Speaker 1: everything and I thought you guys were getting married. What
- 56:33Speaker 1: happened to all of that? I thought he was moving
- 56:35Speaker 1: to Philly? What happened? And what's taking so long? He
- 56:40Speaker 1: has no plans to move. He doesn't even talk about
- 56:42Speaker 1: it anymore. You didn't even say if he's packing, if
- 56:46Speaker 1: he has a move in date? None of that. And
- 56:48Speaker 1: if you know, if a person is serious, he would
- 56:51Speaker 1: certainly have proposed to you by now, where's your ring?
- 56:56Speaker 1: He didn't put a ring on it. And of course,
- 56:58Speaker 1: the distance is a actor. That's why many times long
- 57:02Speaker 1: distance relationships don't work out. I mean, what happens when
- 57:05Speaker 1: you're a part Stuff like this happens a woman in
- 57:09Speaker 1: your case, in his case, can come in and help
- 57:11Speaker 1: him out orally, as he says. You know, when you're
- 57:15Speaker 1: a part, you don't know what he's doing. But I
- 57:17Speaker 1: guess you do know what he's doing now. And you
- 57:20Speaker 1: wouldn't have known anything if his stupid behind didn't leave
- 57:22Speaker 1: that nasty, old, crusty towel you in the backseat of
- 57:27Speaker 1: his car. How convenient, By the way, even after four years,
- 57:32Speaker 1: he still hasn't moved. He's playing with you, and he's
- 57:34Speaker 1: playing you, and now the trust has gone on your part.
- 57:38Speaker 1: So I say to you, go ahead and free yourself.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Free yourself so you can get with a new man
- 57:45Speaker 1: in your same city. All right, Steve, I cannot believe
- 57:51Speaker 1: what I just read. I just can't crazy. This don't
- 57:58Speaker 1: make no damn sense. Okay, lady, you've been in a
- 58:01Speaker 1: relationship for years. Y'all live three hours apart, always been along,
- 58:06Speaker 1: just relationship. You dated two years and signing he started
- 58:11Speaker 1: talking about Marridge. He gladly moved a feeling. You started
- 58:14Speaker 1: preparing yourself emotionally, financially, be with the rest of your life.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Then last year he started saying that the distance was
- 58:20Speaker 1: killing him and sometimes he can't He just wanted to
- 58:25Speaker 1: lie next to you and hold me till he go
- 58:27Speaker 1: to sleep. YadA YadA, YadA yad. I thought he'd go
- 58:32Speaker 1: ahead and proposed, but he ain't. I started visiting him
- 58:35Speaker 1: more than he made excuses when his time to come
- 58:37Speaker 1: see me a few times. I didn't want us to
- 58:40Speaker 1: grow apart, so I did whatever I could do to
- 58:41Speaker 1: keep sparks flying in the bedroom. That means she was
- 58:44Speaker 1: in there doing monkey flips. Plus it's gymnasing equipment in now.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I was visiting him one weekend and that was a tie.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Here's wording letter, I need to come in there. I
- 58:59Speaker 1: was visiting him one weekend. That was a towel on
- 59:03Speaker 1: the backseat. I needed to put groceries in the car.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I picked up the tie and it was crusty and still,
- 59:14Speaker 1: I'm no fool. I know what it looked like. I
- 59:17Speaker 1: thought it was tacking him. Leave it in the car,
- 59:20Speaker 1: no matter what that substance was on it. I asked
- 59:22Speaker 1: him about it and he confirmed my thoughts. Wait a minute,
- 59:29Speaker 1: here's a woman who says, I picked up the tie,
- 59:31Speaker 1: it was crusty and still, I ain't no fool. So
- 59:34Speaker 1: I know what it looked like, and I thought it
- 59:37Speaker 1: was tacking him leaving in the car. No matter what
- 59:40Speaker 1: the substance was on it. I asked him about it
- 59:44Speaker 1: that he confirmed my thoughts. That was too much doubt
- 59:49Speaker 1: what it looked like, what I thought it was, just
- 59:54Speaker 1: what the substance could be. Why did you confirm half thoughts?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: That's what this whole damn that is about. And when
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I come back, this is all we gonna talk about. Why.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: All right, Steve, thank you. Hang on to that thought
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: because we'll be back at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: hour with part two of your response today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Subject is this considered cheating or not? We'll get back
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, it's time to
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is is this considered
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: cheating or now? Settle yourself. Why. Here's a couple that's
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: been in a relationship. Quick recap lone this relationship. He
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: was talking about man for three years. He stopped talking
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: about last year, telling out he missed her. He just
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: want to lie next to it till he fall less league.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: So you didn't want the relationship to go still you've
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: been doing everything you could do in the bedroom, keeping
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: fresh monkey flips, Jim nask equipment apparatus is suitcases, luggage,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: lotions or oh she all balanced, being uneven, parallel balls, ticklers, fellas,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: handcuffs and meat house shoes. Everything is going on video
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: cam quarters, also little people, monkeys. It's all in hill crazy.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: And you visited him, and he would make excuses for
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: visiting you. I was visiting one weekend. There was a
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: tie on the back seat and I needed to put
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: the grocers in the car, picked up the tie. It
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: was crusty instill. I'm no fools, so I know what
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: it looked like. I thought it was tacking him to
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: leave it in the car, no matter what that substance
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: was on it. I asked him about it, and this
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: damned food confirmed my thoughts. She didn't accuse you of anything. Boy,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: She asked you a question, what is this sticky, crusty
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: stuff that's on this top? Why in the hell would
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: you confirm her thoughts? Won't heal it to lie? How
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: that truth working out for him? Right now? Now we're
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: on the national radio show with the damn truth. Listen
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: to me, fool, stupid ass boy, She said, I'm no fool.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I know what it looked like. That's doubt. I thought
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: it was incredibly tacky of him to leave it in
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: the car. I thought, that's doubt. No matter what the
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: substance was, she still ain't called it nothing. It's just
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: substance was that's doubt. I asked him about it. That's
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: no doubt, and then he confirmed it with his stupid aunt.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: He said he went out on a week or so
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: before I got there, and a female friend to him
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: helped him out. Orally. He said he didn't return the
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: favor to her, but she willingly did him. He said,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: it's not like he cheated, and it helped him out
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: because he missed making love to me. I was living
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: and all he kept saying was that he did it
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: for us, and it's not cheating. I have needs to
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: but I've never had a quick hook up with my
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: male friend. It's this cheating or not should I break
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: up with him? You could have said, that's how was anything?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I wasted? Ice cream on the back of one that works?
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: That works? Yes, crusty. What is this on this towel
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: that ain't a tie? That is not a tie? Baby,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that's wrapping paper, wrapping paper. It's still and it's crunchy.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: That's wrapping. It works, that's what it So she don't
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: know what you want. She don't know what it is.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: So what we're gonna do is we're not gonna confirm
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: her thoughts. Okay, what is the substance on this towel?
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Or Darrel threw up last week? Darrel threw up last week?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: It works, Darl? What are you throw it away? Was
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: it still in here? I don't know, it's just back there.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: He was back there. I don't even know it was
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: back there. What are you when you finding? Turn the
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: questions around? You know, Darrel? What you're doing with Darrel's time?
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: All right? Asked me again, what is the substance on
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: what is this? I don't know. That's the dog's tie.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: You don't even have a dog. Darrel got a dog, Darl,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Darrel and his dog been in Darrel's dog doing in
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the car? That ain't I don't know. Ask me what
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: else to do the substance? What is this? That's counter
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: of whack? Darrel died and I was at his visual
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: and they had candle. Yeah, asked me again, what if
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a d what is this. I don't know that ain't
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: my tie? What is it in your carfado that damn down?
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Probably before he died put it in now, ask me again,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: and it's crusty and stiff. What is this? That's my
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: mama's toilet seek cover? Ask me again, what is that's?
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: And a freeze on that tie? I used that tie
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: to watch the car. Any one of him? Yeah, except
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: my girlfriend helped me or yeah boy, your dumb ass?

- 1:10:04Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll have more
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: listening to the show, all right. So, Steve, yesterday you
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: were talking about the Mayweather versus Logan Paul fight. Uh,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: we had a great time just sharing information. People may
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: not know you used to be a boxer and all
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: of that, and you had you Yeah, I know, I
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: know it's a long time, but Carlo wanted to ask
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: you a question, Uh, you know about your experience. Go ahead, Carla,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: what you got? Well, you know, like you said Shirley, Steve,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: we were talking about it yesterday boxing and then I
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: wanted to get your opinion again on these celebrity boxing matches,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: these exhibition fights. Do you think they're going too far?
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: You know you are. I don't think they I don't
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: think they're going too far. But nothing's gonna be competitive.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: And these guys who have never fought before do not
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: understand because you spar in a gym and you're hitting
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: a bag. When you get out there and fight and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: get in the ring with somebody who has a pedigree
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: of any kind of fight, you're finding get your ass whipped. Dog.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Ain't none of these celebrities fitting to whip, none of
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: these old pro fighters or none of that. It's a
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: skill in that ring. It's a real science. You know.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: They're throwing punches like you when you get hit in
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: your mouth. I'm telling you, man, all that change every time.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: When him getting hit in the mouth, dash go righteously.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Nate Robinson ain't waste no damn time getting his ass
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: down as as soon as he touched Ocho head to
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: go to Now, I like Ocho better than all of
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: them because at least he got up, He got up
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: and said some game about him. He looked athletic. Yeah,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: but he's not a fighter. But Logan went the distance, though.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: You gotta be impressed with that eight rounds with he
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: went the distance because he fifty some pounds heavier than Mayweather.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: He's listen to me, y'all. That weight class is very,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: very different. He was a heavyweight fighting a dude who
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: fought walter weight. Walk. Look, Mayweather might have been one
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: fifty five. This boy two fifteen, I think one fifty
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: if that, he couldn't have been no more than one
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: fifty five. Mayweather always stay right, but man, this dude
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: two fifteen. Do you understand the weight that is man?
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: And if you just tied him up like he was doing,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: that created problem. Now Mayweather handled him, but he handled
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: the best he could with that fifty Probably fifty pounds
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: is rough man. And then Floyd is old and his
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: fast twitch muscles is gone. Like, let me tell you something.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Fifteen years ago, Floyd would have knocked his ass into
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: all up into the stands because his fast twitch muscle
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: would would have he would have put too much pepper
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: on their boy face would have been swollen up. But
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Maywether can't fight like he used to because it's fast twitch.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: But that boy can't beat maywhether or not. In no
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: years to come. None and then he talking about he
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: thinking seriously about considering fighting. He can't fight, not no
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: real fighting boy. Yeah, I don't think he's going too far.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: But Lamar old him, gonna get his long ass put
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: to sleep. But who's not fighting? Yeah? Who? He's fighting
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Carter who was a pop singer, right, he's fighting a singer. Well,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: lamar says it's gonna win anyway. Well, yeah, it's an
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Atlantic city coming up and later this month. But still
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Lamar old him, gonna look like a fooling. Now, he
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: gonna look like a complete fool, a big old giant
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: if you get the third round, to get to the
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: third round, and once third round he'll be tied. And
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: you've been to see his he ain't got intentiply different.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I don't understand why they get in the ring. I'm
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: not money. I'm a celebrate. Let me explay something. I
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: challenge right now, Roy Jones, Junior, Divander holy Field and
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Mike Tyson. If you can tee me one hundred million
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: as I'm going on in there, you'll be a rich
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: dead man. Okay him, all right, well we'll have more
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: of this ignorance. All his punch is gonna be in
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: my back. I'm gonna tell you that. Right coming up
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour, right after this, you're
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: listening morning show. Summertime means you may see an increase
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: of bugs and insects, the things one of the things
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I hate most in life. Uh So, what do you
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: guys think is the most hated insect or bug in America?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: What do you think it is? Steve? Good guest, what
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: do you think? Okay? What about your nephew? Wow? What
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: is your name? No, what's the most hated bug in America?
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: What do you think that is? I go with aunt aunts,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: that's the most hated bug in America. Okay, okay twice?
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Well not surprising, Steve, you were right. It is the roach,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: the cockroach of Americans. They hate them because it symbolizes
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: and infestation. It symbolizes day in your krill. You nasty.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: It just you can't you You can explain a mosquito,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: but when a roach come across the table, you can't
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: explain your black light on. So yeah, spiders, aunts, mosquitos, termites, ticks, bees,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: and wasps in that order, none of them. All right,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour you're listening
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it's time to ask
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: the clo. Our chief love Officer, Steve Harvey is in
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the building. This one is from Tina in Seattle. Tina writes,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I'm forty four years old and my husband is fifty four.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: He's inn a men's organization, and we have a lot
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: of social engagements that we attend. The otherwise is a
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: very bougie and I feel as though I don't fit
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: in because I don't wear brand names and designer labels
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: like they do. I've told my husband that I'm uncomfortable,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: and he suggested I get my makeup professionally done for
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: the next event and get a stylist to help me shop.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I'm not that type of woman, and I don't enjoy
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: these events. Should I try to please him by fitting in? Well, listen,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: you don't have to do nothing. You an adult woman.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: You get to make decisions yourself. If you don't like it,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: don't go. But now somebody down there dressed up, somebody
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: down there with the makeup on. That's the other side
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: of the game, you know, That's what he liked. That's
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: what he won't. Now if you don't want to give
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: it to him. Once again, absolutely your priority. You do
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: not have to somebody down at the men's organization got
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: all that on professionally done stylish. Maybe maybe maybe he said, Wow,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I like that. I wish my girl did that. Now,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: once again, you don't have to. Maybe you want of
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: them people that think he got to take you the
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: way he is. You know you could do that kind
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: of woman. Well you ain't that kind of woman. Okay,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: that's cool. I ain't mad. You don't have to be.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: I think she should try it. Yeah, that's my suggestion.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: But you know, once again, I can't. You know, I
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: haven't been a lot of an HR meeting, so I
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: know not to say certain things. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, alright,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: gonna do like you want to, all right, Tina, moving
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: on Kennedy and Detroit, says, my boyfriend and I have
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: been together for a few years and we're open and
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: honest about everything. He said, I am the love of
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: his life. But he often mentions how he broke up
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: his broke his last girlfriend's heart by cheating on her.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: He told me he texted her one day recently to
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: see how she's doing and to make sure she doesn't
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: still hate him? Is it normal for him to want
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: to fix things with her? That right, I'm tell me
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: what you're talking about. I'm listening. I'm listening. You know.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Now you're saying something. What's he feels bad for what
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: he's done? So he wants to at least apologize. He's
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: moved on, he got a new girl. Now, no, you
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: don't say that. No, that ain't what he doing. What
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: he called and see if she still hate him? Because
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: if she don't, he got some conversation for you want
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to go back? Dog, ain't no man, Men don't even
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: do closure, and he ain't trying to get closed. You
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: mean to see if she still hate me? And if
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: she don't, then what where we go after that? I
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: ain't with it, dog. So the girlfriend's question, is it
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: normal for him to want to fix things with her?
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Fix it for? What? Fix it for? What? You cheated
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: on the girl? You broke her heart? What you want
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: to fix? What? You can say? I'm sorry, but you
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: probably tried that already. Remember coming up, it is our
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: last break of the day and at forty nine minutes
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this you're listening show?
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: All right, here we are, guys, our last break of
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: the day on this Tuesday. Well, we learned more about boxing.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Steve talked about fighting again on other celebrity boxing matches. Yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: also wrote some on the strawbar, this food, this dumbest idiot. Well,
