- 1:44Speaker 1: turn the mouth, turn out the water of the money
- 1:48Speaker 1: up looking come come out you think.
- 1:59Speaker 4: That, Uh huh, I sure will come on and everybody
- 2:05Speaker 4: you are listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 4: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Well, okay, here we go.
- 2:17Speaker 4: You know what's important, what's what can be a huge
- 2:21Speaker 4: part of your success is if you if you find
- 2:26Speaker 4: a balance, if you find a balance in your life.
- 2:31Speaker 4: That's that's been very important for me. And I've really
- 2:35Speaker 4: never phrased it this way until now, but I was
- 2:38Speaker 4: kind of thinking about it after my wife and I mean,
- 2:41Speaker 4: we set up one night recently.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Man.
- 2:44Speaker 4: You know, I often come on here and this is
- 2:46Speaker 4: kind of an inspirational moment of the show, and I
- 2:49Speaker 4: try to remind people about that most important relationship between
- 2:53Speaker 4: you and God. And that's that's the apex of it.
- 2:57Speaker 4: That's that's the that's the top of the crown. You've
- 3:00Speaker 4: got to form the relationship with God. If you don't,
- 3:03Speaker 4: everything else struggles. It's hard to be a good husband
- 3:06Speaker 4: without God. It's hard to be a good family man
- 3:08Speaker 4: without God. It's hard to be successful without God. Man,
- 3:11Speaker 4: it's hard to be hard to get through this thing
- 3:14Speaker 4: called life without God.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So that's clear.
- 3:17Speaker 4: But at the same time, you can't talk about God.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Twenty four seven. You got to go to work. Come on, man,
- 3:25Speaker 4: let's just be real. I ain't doing I ain't your pastor,
- 3:27Speaker 4: and I ain't at your church. But let's just be
- 3:29Speaker 4: real about it. You know, if people tell you got
- 3:32Speaker 4: to keep your mind stayed on Him and all like that,
- 3:34Speaker 4: that's a true statement.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Got to keep your mind stayed in that area.
- 3:38Speaker 4: I don't not here to tell you how to live,
- 3:40Speaker 4: but you got to keep your mind stayed in that
- 3:41Speaker 4: area of God, of doing the right thing, caring about people.
- 3:45Speaker 4: That's what I took it as. Now I could be wrong.
- 3:47Speaker 4: I apologize if I'm not saying it the way you've
- 3:49Speaker 4: been taught. I can only do me now. But after that,
- 3:53Speaker 4: you got to go to work. You got to have
- 3:56Speaker 4: some fun. You got to take care of your business.
- 4:00Speaker 4: And that's the balance. You have to find so it
- 4:04Speaker 4: once you focus on showing up your relationship with God,
- 4:08Speaker 4: you gotta balance this now. Now, you got to allocate
- 4:14Speaker 4: some time I don't care who you are, for your family.
- 4:17Speaker 4: If you're gonna have a family, you got to allocate.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Some time for them.
- 4:22Speaker 1: See, we can't just marry these women or make these
- 4:25Speaker 1: kids and then neglect them.
- 4:28Speaker 4: And fellas, especially if I'm talking to men out here
- 4:31Speaker 4: and ladies you can listen to, but listen, if you
- 4:33Speaker 4: find yourself struggling in your life, man, and you can't
- 4:36Speaker 4: seem to get it together, let's just go over a
- 4:38Speaker 4: couple of things. The first two things, if you find
- 4:42Speaker 4: yourself struggling, you can't seem to pull it together and
- 4:44Speaker 4: reach your goals and get the where you want to go,
- 4:47Speaker 4: Let's just do a check how is your relationship with God?
- 4:53Speaker 4: And then next how much time are you taking to
- 4:57Speaker 4: allocate for your family? Now, your family don't always live
- 5:01Speaker 4: in your house, but if you made them, they yours
- 5:06Speaker 4: and the responsibility to them is never lessen because you
- 5:09Speaker 4: don't stay that no more. Because you and the girl
- 5:12Speaker 4: broke up, You and a woman don't speak that, hey, man,
- 5:15Speaker 4: that don't ever release you from the obligation. Feel me
- 5:19Speaker 4: what I'm telling you this now because I'm not telling
- 5:22Speaker 4: you something I'm wondering about. I've had to live through
- 5:25Speaker 4: them years. So two things you can start looking at.
- 5:29Speaker 4: If you not where you want to be, and you ain't,
- 5:30Speaker 4: you ain't really silent. You can't figure out why you
- 5:33Speaker 4: keep spending your wheels. Have you just done a random inventory?
- 5:36Speaker 1: Man? Have you just checked on your relationship with God?
- 5:39Speaker 4: Have you checked on the time you spending dedicated towards
- 5:42Speaker 4: your family, your children that you created? If them two
- 5:45Speaker 4: things is out of sink, man, that I can tell
- 5:48Speaker 4: you right now, you can go on and get to
- 5:50Speaker 4: explaining yourself away just like that.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Hey man, how come you ain't where you want to be?
- 5:55Speaker 6: Man?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Comes man, I really ain't. Well, if you really ain't,
- 5:58Speaker 1: then you really ain't.
- 6:00Speaker 4: The third thing is you got to allocate the necessary
- 6:04Speaker 4: time for your business.
- 6:06Speaker 1: You got to handle your business.
- 6:09Speaker 4: All of this, man, is the way it works, and
- 6:14Speaker 4: the order the order is God first, family second.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Then you got to handle all your business. But as me,
- 6:25Speaker 1: and this is what we do.
- 6:27Speaker 4: If I don't handle my business, I can't take care
- 6:30Speaker 4: of my family, true statement. But if your business is
- 6:34Speaker 4: in front of your family.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You out of order.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Now, that's all we talking about now in it. See,
- 6:40Speaker 4: that's all we really say in here now, fellas you know,
- 6:43Speaker 4: you know I mean, I mean, come on, man, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 4: let's have a real conversation about being better. You know,
- 6:49Speaker 4: if you have created these children, you got to handle
- 6:51Speaker 4: your business. You may not like the girl no more.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You and the woman might have.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Broken up, y'all might go your own way. But what
- 6:57Speaker 4: that got to do with the child though, Man, you
- 6:59Speaker 4: got to have under your business. They got to know
- 7:01Speaker 4: who daddy is. That's your obligation. Man, that God ain't
- 7:04Speaker 4: letting you off the hook for that. Try it.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Go ahead and try it and think you're gonna get
- 7:09Speaker 1: off the hook with that. Cause you not, man, You
- 7:12Speaker 1: just not. I'm sorry, man, dog Steve, Why you coming
- 7:18Speaker 1: like that? Because I did it like that. I did it. Man.
- 7:22Speaker 4: I was over here trying to reshape my life, get
- 7:24Speaker 4: myself up on my feet when I was a homeless
- 7:26Speaker 4: man and trying to come back.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Man, I thought I had to take care of me
- 7:29Speaker 1: first and then so I can neglect it. Care about
- 7:32Speaker 1: them kids.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Man, I ain't hid at work, man, God kept his
- 7:35Speaker 4: knee on my neck for a long time for that
- 7:37Speaker 4: one right there, till I finally learned the lesson hold up, man,
- 7:42Speaker 4: put these phone calls in, Go spend some time, do something,
- 7:46Speaker 4: And then it started turning around for me. You know,
- 7:49Speaker 4: I can't be there all the time because I am
- 7:51Speaker 4: out here on the grind, in the hustle. But at
- 7:53Speaker 4: the same time, man, some more phone calls, some more letters,
- 7:56Speaker 4: some more how he hes something, then take care of
- 8:01Speaker 4: your business. Man.
- 8:03Speaker 1: You got to work hard to be successful.
- 8:05Speaker 2: You know.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Sometimes I don't put that in there. I just live it,
- 8:08Speaker 4: and I expect my sons to emulate that. But I
- 8:10Speaker 4: gotta talk to them all the time.
- 8:12Speaker 1: How hard you got to work to be something. It's
- 8:16Speaker 1: all out of salt on it.
- 8:17Speaker 7: Man.
- 8:17Speaker 4: If you gotta target in mind, you gotta go. You
- 8:20Speaker 4: gotta wake up every day trying to get there, and
- 8:23Speaker 4: you can't get tired of it because it never ends.
- 8:29Speaker 4: You're gonna always be this way. That's how life is
- 8:32Speaker 4: designed and set up. You got to be a hard worker.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Man.
- 8:36Speaker 4: If you always looking for some time to chill, and man,
- 8:39Speaker 4: I wanna go do what I want to do, you
- 8:40Speaker 4: ain't gonna make it in order to be successful, you
- 8:44Speaker 4: have to do a series of things that you're uncomfortable doing,
- 8:47Speaker 4: and work is the thing that most of us are
- 8:50Speaker 4: uncomfortable doing.
- 8:51Speaker 1: It's so much easier to chill matter. I wish I
- 8:54Speaker 1: could kick back with a cigar man all the time,
- 8:58Speaker 1: but I can't, Man, I can't because I got to work.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Then the last piece of the balance pipe balance piece
- 9:11Speaker 4: is you gotta take some time out to enjoy yourself.
- 9:14Speaker 4: But if you ain't where you wanna be, you ain't
- 9:17Speaker 4: got a lot of time to enjoy yourself. Quit thinking, man,
- 9:21Speaker 4: that this balance is even. It's a whole lot of God,
- 9:26Speaker 4: a whole lot of family, a whole lot of business,
- 9:29Speaker 4: and a little bit of chilling. The chilling can't be
- 9:32Speaker 4: equal to the family, the business, all your God. If
- 9:36Speaker 4: the chilling is equal to any of them, you ain't.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Gonna make it. Quit chilling, man, and go to work
- 9:43Speaker 1: like a man. Do what you're supposed to do.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Work on your family, work on your relationship, work on
- 9:48Speaker 4: your God, work on your business. And then when you chill,
- 9:51Speaker 4: you might not chill as law, but you show gonna
- 9:53Speaker 4: chill bigger. You're gonna ball bigger.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Baby.
- 9:56Speaker 3: You're listening morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, it's here again. That almighty God has
- 10:06Speaker 4: done it again. Man, time after time after time. Do
- 10:10Speaker 4: you realize he's never ever been late? You realize he's
- 10:15Speaker 4: never not showed up. He's the one factor that can
- 10:18Speaker 4: be counted on one thousand percent of the time. Do
- 10:21Speaker 4: you know he's the only factor in your life that
- 10:24Speaker 4: has done every single thing he said he was gonna
- 10:27Speaker 4: do without excuse, reasoning, nothing, He just he's just awesome.
- 10:33Speaker 1: He just that are no superdatives for it.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Man, I'm trying to get everybody to understand the real
- 10:42Speaker 4: value in having a relationship with God and wake.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It up every day.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Man, this is special. I don't take it for granted. Man,
- 10:51Speaker 4: I invite you to do the same. It's Steve Harmony
- 10:53Speaker 4: show right here, you feel me. It's Sharlon Strawberry Colin
- 10:56Speaker 4: for real, Mississippi Monica. And Junior, I don't even I
- 11:00Speaker 4: don't know where he at. Don't even ask me, So
- 11:05Speaker 4: don't even ask me about this boy. I don't even
- 11:08Speaker 4: feel like it.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Junior, Yeah I did.
- 11:13Speaker 8: I didn't want to ask you about these honors. Perseverance.
- 11:18Speaker 8: What do you know about perseverance? Stay in the court
- 11:22Speaker 8: and how.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Much do I know yah perseverance, I would I would
- 11:30Speaker 4: A shorter answer would be, is what I don't know
- 11:33Speaker 4: about it? I have done nothing but persevere. Now I
- 11:42Speaker 4: found out truly what perseverance meant meant back in nineteen
- 11:49Speaker 4: seventy six. That's when I first started to understand what
- 11:55Speaker 4: perseverance meant, because it's one of the cardinal principles of life,
- 12:03Speaker 4: is perseverance. But when it comes to the ability to persevere,
- 12:11Speaker 4: I think I have a key factor. You know, I
- 12:16Speaker 4: should say it's for closing remarks, but most people that
- 12:20Speaker 4: listen to the opening remarks aren't available for their closing remarks.
- 12:26Speaker 1: One of my key secrets, or I would say.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Key characteristics to being able to persevere is I have
- 12:37Speaker 4: an uncanny knack of suffering. I know how to suffer,
- 12:45Speaker 4: and that it took me a long time to come
- 12:47Speaker 4: to that admission, but I know how to suffer. Most
- 12:51Speaker 4: people don't like suffering. I don't like suffering. Nobody I
- 12:55Speaker 4: know likes to suffer. It's just an uncomfortable process. But
- 13:00Speaker 4: once you can wrap your mind arout that suffering is
- 13:03Speaker 4: a part of the growth, that suffering is a part
- 13:07Speaker 4: of development, and that suffering don't last always. Once you
- 13:12Speaker 4: can wrap your mind around that, you can handle it better.
- 13:16Speaker 4: And if you can handle suffering, you can persevere. Wow.
- 13:21Speaker 3: All right, that's a word.
- 13:24Speaker 1: That might be a little too deep this morning. This
- 13:28Speaker 1: word shock me.
- 13:30Speaker 3: You just shocked me, all right?
- 13:33Speaker 1: I felt that. All right?
- 13:35Speaker 7: All right, we're about to get ignorant from that deepness.
- 13:37Speaker 7: Here we go with the ignorance coming up at thirty
- 13:39Speaker 7: two minutes after. We'll run that prank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 7: You're listening Morning show, It is time now to run
- 13:47Speaker 7: that prank back with Junior in for the nephew.
- 13:50Speaker 3: What you got Jr?
- 13:51Speaker 1: Triple casket, triple casket, let's just find out what it is.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Triple caskets Mortuary.
- 13:58Speaker 1: This is Calvin. I, Uh, hey, how you doing? Uh
- 14:02Speaker 1: you said, Calvin? Right, yes, sir, h how you Calvin?
- 14:05Speaker 1: How you doing?
- 14:06Speaker 5: My name is Brandon Man, Brandon Giles. Uh, okay, I'm calling.
- 14:12Speaker 5: We've got somebody that uh has passed actually three people
- 14:17Speaker 5: passed away. I thank you for that, man. It was
- 14:21Speaker 5: kind of expected. Uh so, you know, it wasn't something
- 14:25Speaker 5: that caught us off guard. But you know, but all
- 14:28Speaker 5: in all, you know, we're still grieving about losing our
- 14:30Speaker 5: loved ones. But uh, but I wanted to give you
- 14:33Speaker 5: all a call. We're trying to pick a particular funeral
- 14:36Speaker 5: home on who we want to uh take care of
- 14:39Speaker 5: the service.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yes, yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Okay, I can definitely help you with that, and we
- 14:46Speaker 6: can pretty much do the whole game that we We
- 14:49Speaker 6: can make sure that your need to take them from
- 14:51Speaker 6: you know, from from now on, we're here for you
- 14:56Speaker 6: to get that out. Uh what is your name? Need? Uh?
- 14:59Speaker 6: You said three people?
- 15:01Speaker 3: Yes?
- 15:02Speaker 5: Yes, yes, I wanted to bring attention to you. Do
- 15:06Speaker 5: you got customize caskets?
- 15:09Speaker 6: Yes, we do, gold plating, uh, engraving. Uh even have
- 15:14Speaker 6: a new thing where we can put the picture of
- 15:16Speaker 6: the person on the outside like a semi gloss coating
- 15:20Speaker 6: a couple of hours.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't. I don't need that on no goal
- 15:24Speaker 1: or nothing like that. Listen, listen, what I want to do.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Is it any way that you could maybe uh customize
- 15:31Speaker 5: a casket that can accommodate three people?
- 15:36Speaker 2: Uh?
- 15:37Speaker 6: Yes, like we can we can customize each individual casket
- 15:41Speaker 6: for each individual.
- 15:43Speaker 5: No, no, no, Calvin, I didn't want to ask. What
- 15:46Speaker 5: I'm saying is if I want to like like I said,
- 15:49Speaker 5: like I said, deep I could they was all close.
- 15:52Speaker 5: You know, I don't have a problem with all three
- 15:54Speaker 5: of them being in the same casket.
- 15:58Speaker 6: I get you, uh, you know, to my knowledge is
- 16:02Speaker 6: as far as I've been in this business, I've never uh,
- 16:06Speaker 6: I'm not really sure we can actually do that.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I mean, but what's the problem
- 16:10Speaker 1: if we can get them all in there?
- 16:14Speaker 6: Well, sir, I mean I think that's a I don't
- 16:17Speaker 6: even think if, for one, it's legal in this state
- 16:19Speaker 6: or any state. Uh, three people in one casket and
- 16:24Speaker 6: ethics wise, I uh, that's not really something that we
- 16:29Speaker 6: actually you know.
- 16:30Speaker 5: But if you customize in a casket, Calvin, then you
- 16:33Speaker 5: ought to be able to put as many people in there.
- 16:35Speaker 5: If you make it deep enough and wide enough, ought
- 16:38Speaker 5: to get three people in there.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:40Speaker 6: Well, the customization is is the outer side of the
- 16:45Speaker 6: casket and maybe you know some people even put TV
- 16:49Speaker 6: screens on the inside or some of their their their
- 16:52Speaker 6: loved ones, uh, memorable mementos. H. We customize it for that,
- 16:58Speaker 6: you know, color wise, So.
- 17:00Speaker 5: What about winning win? Is a person real big uh,
- 17:03Speaker 5: you know, a heavyset person. You know, you got to
- 17:06Speaker 5: have a casket that can accommodate them. Right, Yes, you
- 17:09Speaker 5: ought to be able to put three people in one
- 17:11Speaker 5: casket if they can fit, if you put two one
- 17:14Speaker 5: way in one the other other way, and you ought
- 17:17Speaker 5: to be to have all three of them in there
- 17:18Speaker 5: at one time.
- 17:20Speaker 6: Is there anybody else around you and your family that
- 17:22Speaker 6: can help talk with me about this.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'm talking you right now.
- 17:27Speaker 6: That's not something we're really uh.
- 17:29Speaker 5: That ain't something you used to doing, cabin but I'm
- 17:32Speaker 5: calling you telling you that's the way I want this customize.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Man.
- 17:36Speaker 6: A right, brother, Look, brother, brother, just just chill out
- 17:39Speaker 6: with customers, all right.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So we're trying to get three people.
- 17:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I have a standard plan, it'd be a low
- 17:45Speaker 6: end standard plan for three individual caskets.
- 17:50Speaker 1: We ain't got We.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Don't have enough money for three individual caskets. I keep
- 17:56Speaker 5: telling you that we got room for one casket. We
- 18:00Speaker 5: just need to big enough, man, so you could get
- 18:02Speaker 5: everybody in there and close the door.
- 18:04Speaker 6: I'm not good. I'm not I don't want to go
- 18:05Speaker 6: back and forth with you, sir. I know this is
- 18:07Speaker 6: the time.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Then you ain't gotta go back and forth with me.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Buildings that I need, I can bury my family. I
- 18:13Speaker 5: won't you tell me you're gonna get three people in
- 18:15Speaker 5: the casket looking good that.
- 18:18Speaker 2: We cannot do that.
- 18:19Speaker 1: You holling that. Man, I'm the one going through bereathing.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I understand that, but you are, you're you use the
- 18:26Speaker 2: foul language.
- 18:27Speaker 6: We can't do it.
- 18:28Speaker 5: Brother, you hear me, No, no, no, hold on my
- 18:33Speaker 5: cousin them saying they wanted to use no sir, No, okay,
- 18:38Speaker 5: look im, look man, man, y'all gonna bury these three
- 18:42Speaker 5: people and you gonna put all three of them in
- 18:45Speaker 5: the same damn casking man, two on one way, on
- 18:49Speaker 5: one end and one on the other.
- 18:50Speaker 1: One.
- 18:50Speaker 6: Man, sir, if you're drinking, just stop.
- 18:53Speaker 5: I ain't nobody Let me tell you something, man, let
- 18:55Speaker 5: me say this to you. Either y'all gonna bury my
- 18:59Speaker 5: cousins the way I Calvin.
- 19:01Speaker 2: You gonna get your who you're talking to.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That's what's gonna now.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Now no, now, that's it, right there, sir. I've been

- 29:27Speaker 7: Fulton County's District Attorney Fannie Willis and a subordinate attorney,
- 29:32Speaker 7: Nathan Wade. The defense argued that Willis should be disqualified
- 29:35Speaker 7: for an improper conflict of interest, while on Friday, Fulton
- 29:39Speaker 7: County Judge Got McAfee stated that DA Fannie Willis's relationship
- 29:43Speaker 7: with Wade was a quote tremendous lapse in judgment. Yes,
- 29:47Speaker 7: but he did not disqualify her from the case. Instead,
- 29:51Speaker 7: Judge McAfee ruled that Willis must recuse herself from the
- 29:55Speaker 7: case or Nathan Wade must resign from the case. Nathan
- 29:58Speaker 7: Wade resigned. Trump trial will go on with funny Willis.

- 31:14Speaker 4: change in Richmond. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
- 31:17Speaker 1: So you're trying to.

- 35:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm telling you right now, I'm gonna say

- 36:01Speaker 3: Morning show.
- 36:02Speaker 7: Well, former Vice President Mike Pence was a guest on

- 36:08Speaker 7: it should come as no surprise that I will not
- 36:10Speaker 7: be endorsing Donald Trump this year. Donald Trump is pursuing
- 36:14Speaker 7: and articulating an agenda that is at odds with a
- 36:18Speaker 7: conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years.
- 36:22Speaker 7: This is why I cannot, in good conscience endorse Donald
- 36:25Speaker 7: Trump in this campaign. Please translates for Steve Well.
- 36:29Speaker 4: That simply means he knows exactly who he is and
- 36:33Speaker 4: what he is, regardless as to what he's says. But
- 36:37Speaker 4: if you listen to what he says, he's telling you
- 36:40Speaker 4: exactly who he is and them stupid ass.
- 36:43Speaker 1: People still don't believe it.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Man, He's shown you and in every aspect that he
- 36:51Speaker 4: is incompetent to be president, but he's running on the
- 36:55Speaker 4: Republican ticket.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Man, I saw something on the internet. This this white
- 37:01Speaker 4: guy did a whole rent. It was really brilliant.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Man.
- 37:05Speaker 1: He said, if Satan.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Was running against Christ but he was on the Republican
- 37:13Speaker 4: ticket ahead all behind his name, they would, because of
- 37:19Speaker 4: their policy, find.
- 37:20Speaker 5: A way.
- 37:23Speaker 4: To make him right. Whoa hey, man, this dude did
- 37:31Speaker 4: a rent on the internet. And when you listen to
- 37:33Speaker 4: what he says it was pertaining to it was so
- 37:38Speaker 4: brilliantly did the way he wrapped around the agenda to
- 37:43Speaker 4: make it look like that Satan would be a better candidate,
- 37:49Speaker 4: you know, gun controlled law and all.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Of this right here.
- 37:53Speaker 4: It was crazy, man. And I'm not saying that Republicans
- 37:56Speaker 4: aren't Christians. That's not what I'm saying.
- 37:58Speaker 6: Now.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I'm telling you what I saw on it Internet.
- 38:01Speaker 4: But if you are supposedly a person of faith, Christians
- 38:08Speaker 4: are supposed to be christ like, where.
- 38:11Speaker 1: In him do you see that? Just help me, man.
- 38:19Speaker 4: I saw so many they named every single president and
- 38:24Speaker 4: the total number of indictments for every single president prior
- 38:29Speaker 4: to Trump, and when they totaled all of the indictments
- 38:33Speaker 4: against all of the presidents, the total was zero.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Donald Trump got ninety one. Yeah. Well, it doesn't make
- 38:45Speaker 1: any kind of sense. It don't make none at all.
- 38:49Speaker 4: And this is who you want to put put in
- 38:50Speaker 4: front of your children and grandchildren and say this is
- 38:53Speaker 4: who we should accept and put in office as our leader.
- 38:57Speaker 7: Right, Well, it's vice president's former vice presid and said nope,
- 39:01Speaker 7: I'm not doing it.
- 39:02Speaker 3: Pence also said that he's here.
- 39:03Speaker 4: You're gonna save the nation and you can't save yourself
- 39:07Speaker 4: or your Yeah, man, miss me.

- 40:21Speaker 6: Uh.
- 40:21Speaker 7: He pledged his obedience to Allah. He's spoke in Arabic
- 40:25Speaker 7: all of that. So I was wondering if you heard
- 40:27Speaker 7: about that now I hadn't.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I hadn't.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Well he is now, he's a Muslim, he said.

- 40:41Speaker 7: of worship except Allah alone, without partner, and he testifies
- 40:45Speaker 7: that Mohammad as a servant and final messenger.

- 46:58Speaker 10: away the oils, cover up any blemishes, anything like that.

- 47:56Speaker 2: butt and you know, like you said, you know, I'm
- 47:58Speaker 2: a little shy about you know, some of that that
- 48:01Speaker 2: you could actually hope you can actually make sure that

- 53:43Speaker 3: Thank you ne for you.
- 53:43Speaker 7: Subject Should I keep competing for a spot? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:48Speaker 7: I moved to a new city and I met a
- 53:50Speaker 7: man at my apartment complex. He doesn't live there, his
- 53:53Speaker 7: sister does. He asked me to go out, and our
- 53:56Speaker 7: first date was so good that he wanted to show
- 53:58Speaker 7: me around town. He became inseparable, but we haven't had
- 54:02Speaker 7: sex or put a title on our relationship. It's been
- 54:05Speaker 7: three months and I'm sexually attracted to him. So I
- 54:08Speaker 7: asked if we were dating. He said that I'm new
- 54:11Speaker 7: in town and when I got here, he had some
- 54:13Speaker 7: loose ends he needed to tie up. He said, he
- 54:16Speaker 7: is a couple of girls that he enjoys hanging out with,
- 54:18Speaker 7: but right now I have all of his attention. I
- 54:22Speaker 7: pumped the brakes and stopped thinking about wanting to sleep
- 54:25Speaker 7: with him. I didn't want to hang out with him anymore,
- 54:28Speaker 7: but I had to keep an open mind. I also
- 54:30Speaker 7: appreciated his honesty. He continued to casually. I continually casually
- 54:36Speaker 7: dated him. A week ago, he spent the night at
- 54:39Speaker 7: my place for the first time. We did a lot
- 54:41Speaker 7: of kissing and cuddling, and when things got heated, I
- 54:45Speaker 7: pulled back. I told him that I'm protecting myself from
- 54:48Speaker 7: getting my heart broken. That was the wrong thing to say,
- 54:51Speaker 7: because he's been acting weird since then. He probably thinks
- 54:55Speaker 7: I'm falling in love with him. I'm in no way
- 54:57Speaker 7: in love with him, but I do love hanging out
- 55:00Speaker 7: with him. Now he is acting weird and we barely
- 55:03Speaker 7: go out. Does it mean that he doesn't have good
- 55:06Speaker 7: intentions for our relationship? Is he putting all this time
- 55:09Speaker 7: in just to have sex with me? Am I better
- 55:12Speaker 7: off leaving this man alone? Or should I keep on
- 55:15Speaker 7: competing for a spot? Well, no, you definitely don't have
- 55:18Speaker 7: to do that, And I say, just please go on
- 55:21Speaker 7: with your business. Go on about your business, leave this
- 55:23Speaker 7: man alone. You don't have to wait while he ties
- 55:26Speaker 7: up his so called loose ends and all that he
- 55:29Speaker 7: said out of his mouth. You have all of his
- 55:31Speaker 7: attention right now. He's not trying to claim you or
- 55:35Speaker 7: put on put any type of label on your relationship.
- 55:39Speaker 7: He did tell you he was honest that he's dating
- 55:42Speaker 7: other people, which gives you the option of whether you
- 55:45Speaker 7: want to keep dating him or not.
- 55:47Speaker 3: I'm glad you pulled back.
- 55:49Speaker 7: You told him you didn't want to get your heart
- 55:50Speaker 7: broken and you didn't sleep with him. Then he started
- 55:53Speaker 7: acting weird as you say, So what I mean you
- 55:57Speaker 7: see how he's acting now. So if you're not in
- 55:59Speaker 7: love with him, don't worry about him like you said.
- 56:02Speaker 7: Like he said, you are new in town, so what
- 56:04Speaker 7: does that mean? That means keep your options open. He's
- 56:07Speaker 7: not the only man in the town. No one has
- 56:10Speaker 7: time to play his little games.
- 56:12Speaker 3: Steve.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Wow, We're going to show all of you how women
- 56:18Speaker 4: hear what they want to hear without listening to what
- 56:21Speaker 4: a man says. Okay, now, surely you're not wrong in
- 56:25Speaker 4: what you said, but you accused him of saying something
- 56:29Speaker 4: he said.
- 56:30Speaker 1: And this is where we probably fell off. Trap.
- 56:33Speaker 4: I'd have moved to a new city. I met a
- 56:35Speaker 4: man at my apartment complex. He don't live there, but
- 56:38Speaker 4: his sister. Dude, we done went out on our first
- 56:40Speaker 4: date and it was so good. He wanted to show
- 56:42Speaker 4: me around town. Okay, you went out on your first
- 56:47Speaker 4: date was so good that he wanted to show you
- 56:49Speaker 4: around town.
- 56:51Speaker 1: What do that mean exactly? The date was so good
- 56:54Speaker 1: he wanted to show you around town.
- 56:56Speaker 4: Okay, we became inseparable, but we haven't had had sex
- 57:01Speaker 4: or put a title on our relationship.
- 57:03Speaker 1: It's been three months now I'm sexually attracted to him.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Now here we go. So I asked him if we
- 57:09Speaker 1: were dating.
- 57:10Speaker 4: He said that I'm new in town and when I
- 57:15Speaker 4: got there, he had some loose ends he needed to
- 57:17Speaker 4: tie up. Now what that means is you came into
- 57:21Speaker 4: town new but already had some action going. I think
- 57:25Speaker 4: we all agree with that. Then he said he had
- 57:29Speaker 4: a couple of girls that he enjoys hanging out with.
- 57:34Speaker 4: Now that means he's sleeping with a couple of women.
- 57:38Speaker 4: That's the two he telling you about. Then she said,
- 57:41Speaker 4: but right now, I have all of his attention. What
- 57:45Speaker 4: you said, Shirley, was he told you that you have
- 57:52Speaker 4: all of his attention.
- 57:53Speaker 7: That is not what he said.
- 57:55Speaker 1: We assumed that she has all of his attention. See,
- 58:02Speaker 1: she said, I have all his attention.
- 58:07Speaker 7: He said, he said he has a couple of girls
- 58:12Speaker 7: that he enjoys hanging out with. But right now I
- 58:15Speaker 7: have all of his attention.
- 58:17Speaker 1: He said, he didn't say that.
- 58:19Speaker 3: What did he say he said it?
- 58:21Speaker 4: Okay, no, no, no, listen to me. If he got
- 58:24Speaker 4: a couple of girls he enjoyed hanging out with.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Hi.
- 58:26Speaker 4: Your hell, you got all his attention. He just told
- 58:30Speaker 4: you he got a couple of girls he hang out with.
- 58:34Speaker 4: But right now I have all his attention. See it
- 58:39Speaker 4: don't make no sense, ladies, I'm just just a part
- 58:42Speaker 4: I want women to get to it.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Don't make no sense. It has to match up what
- 58:48Speaker 1: a man says and what a man does.
- 58:51Speaker 3: He told all word.
- 58:53Speaker 4: Come, I'm just trying, ladies, I'm just trying to help you. No, no, no,
- 58:57Speaker 4: but stop hearing the wrongs stuff. Pay attention.
- 59:02Speaker 1: It's a couple of girls that I'm hanging out with.
- 59:05Speaker 1: That mean I'm having sex with him?
- 59:08Speaker 3: Yes, we get it.
- 59:09Speaker 4: Uh huh now I suppose, he said. But right now
- 59:13Speaker 4: you have all my attention. He said, But Shirley, listen
- 59:19Speaker 4: to me. Yeah, what how does that make sense?
- 59:24Speaker 3: I'm trying to No.
- 59:26Speaker 4: No, what I'm telling women is don't go running all
- 59:29Speaker 4: down the street with one line without listening to the
- 59:33Speaker 4: whole story. Because you done took that. Let's say he
- 59:37Speaker 4: did say. Let's let's give Shirley's story the benefit of doubt.
- 59:41Speaker 4: He said, But you have all my attention, right now,
- 59:44Speaker 4: but he just told you he's sleeping with two other chicks.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Mm hmm, and y'all ain't having sex.
- 59:50Speaker 7: Wait, y'all Done'll hold on, hold on, we have part two.
- 59:54Speaker 3: We gotta get to uh take a break right here.
- 59:57Speaker 7: All right, we'll have part two of your respond Steve
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: Strawberry letter subject, should I keep competing for a spot?
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is, should I keep
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: competing for a spot?
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: I don't want to get nobody off to the road, surely,
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: And I just have a small slight variation in the
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: interpretation of this letter, That's all it is.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: It's a misunderstanding.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: But it's also a misunderstanding that most women have when
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: it comes to men. And I just wanted to point
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: this out to you. She met this guy in the
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: complex she moved into, but he don't live that but
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: he over that date and his system. They went out,
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: they had a good time, so now he's showing her
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: around town. They've been dating for three months. Now they
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: haven't had any sex, but she's sexually attracted to him.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: So then she asked him if we were dating. The
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: man said, I'm new in town. You tell the girl
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: you knew in time that when you got here, I
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: had some loose ends I needed to tie up. He
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: didn't say he was tying up no loose ends. He
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: just said he has some loose ends he needed to
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: tie But he didn't tell that he was tying nothing up.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: He says he has a couple of girls that he
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: enjoys hanging out with. What the hell does that mean?
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: It's two women he's sleeping with. Yes, but right now
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: I have all his attention now. Shirley said, that's what
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: he told him. I'm saying that because they've been hanging
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: out now inseparable. She's assuming she has all of his intentions.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: But he told her there's two women that I'm hanging
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: out now, what the hell you think they at? I
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: bet you they don't even know about the new girl
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: in town. I bet you they don't even think they inseparable.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: Because he balancing these two women, he's still sleeping with them.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: She assuming she has all of his intention but he
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: told her, I'm sleeping with two other women.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: I don't understand where our disagreement is though. It's like,
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I agree.
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: He said that she has all of his attention, right,
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: but he's not claiming her or anything like that because
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: he has these other two women.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You don't see that.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: I don't see what.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Anybody have your full attention and he got two other women.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: That's right, that's just what he told her.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: She wasn't buying it. I don't believe she bought it
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: at all.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: So I pumped the brakes and stopped thinking about wanting
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: to sleep with him.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: That's a lie.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: I didn't want to hang out with him anymore, but
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: I had to keep an open mind. What lady, what
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: are you talking about? I didn't want to see him anymore,
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: but I had to keep an open mind, open mind
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: to what you just said. You stopped stopped thinking about it.
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: That's how I know you, Lye. I also appreciated his honesty.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: Oh wow, that's good. So if I tell you I'm
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: sleeping with some more people, do you appreciate that?
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Cool?
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Yeahsty Yes, we tell you that all the time.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Yeah okay. And then he told you that what you want,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: what what you win for that what what rip of
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: you get for that truth?
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: But she gets the option to make up her own
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: money to choose.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: No, no, no, Sureley, I show you something. It's the trap, man, God, y'all, Man, y'all,
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: I continue to casually date.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Here, here we go.
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: All he did was throw it out there to see
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: how you would react. You said, you stopped thinking about
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: him sexually. But guess what, you continue, you continued because
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: he threw out there the bait, and you bit. Now
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: we're right back where we started from.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: A week ago. He spent the night at my place
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: for the first time. How how he get in your bed?
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: Well, she said she was sexually attracted to him.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, What she said was.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: I pumped the brakes and stopped thinking about wanting to
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: sleep with him, and I ain't want to hang out
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: with him anymore.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: That's what she said.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: But she also says she was sexually attracted to him.
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Quit hearing what you want to hear running down the
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: street with that information because you want to have a relationship. Now,
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: we did a lot of kissing in the cuntling and
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: then things got heated. What the hell you think was
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: gonna help? I pulled back and I told him I'm
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: protecting myself from getting my heart broken. That was the
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: wrong thing to say, because he been acting weird since then.
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: He probably thinks I'm falling.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: In love with him. No, he don't, No, he don't.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: What he probably think is he done wasted his damn
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: time and you ain't gonna have sex with him?
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: That's what he probably right there.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: Well, then he probably thinks I'm falling in love and
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: I'm in no way in love with him, but I
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: do love hanging out with him. Hey, stop saying love
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: starting to be stupid? Stupid? No, but stop saying Look,
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: he is now acting weird and we badly go out.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Does it mean that he don't have good intentions for
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: our relationship?
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Is he putting all this time in to have sex
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: with me?
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Yes, that's why that's why we put time in to
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: have sex? Hard at it?
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: Am I better off leaving this man alone? Or should
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: I keep competing for a spot? You already competed for
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: the spot when you let him have a space in
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: your bed and you're trying to get something from the
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: man that he not find to give to you.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: You're fin to be number three.
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: Because now her only question is should I keep competing
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: for a spot because his mind?

- 1:09:44Speaker 7: but not in over five years. A big group of
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: our friends had a house party to celebrate him, and
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: he chose not to invite his fiance. He got very drunk,
- 1:09:53Speaker 7: so I had to drive him home. I went to
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: use his bathroom, and when I finished, he asked if
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: I wanted to fool around one last time before he
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: gets married. We have the worst drunken sex ever. Right
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: after sex, his fiance showed up. He eventually had to
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: let her in and she could tell what it just happened.
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: He keeps lying to her, so she's calling me for answers.
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: Do I owe her an explanation?
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: First of all, I have told y'all, yeah, over and
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: over and over about these opposite sex friendships. Being your
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: best friend and you are in a committed relationship, it
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: almost don't ever work out. I don't know how you
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: think it can. I just don't know how you think
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: it can't. We are dealing with the male species here.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: But they hadn't done anything in five years. Steve Lly,
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: are you listening to what I'm saying I'm saying, that's where.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: I don't give a damn if they ain't had sex
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: ever before. Keep telling y'all, man, y'all just listen to me,
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: this hardly ever works out.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I haven't seen the workout check, and this.
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: Is definitely not working out here.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: So now do you owe her an explanation? She keep
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: calling you what you're gonna do? Ignore, So the dude
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: then told her that it didn't happen. She keep calling
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: you because she gonna make you crack because guess what,
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: you a girl and you gonna crack because y'all have
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: this un uncanny neck for just having to tell the truth.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: I don't know what this is with y'all, where you
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: just have to tell the truth and this other ignorant
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: mess y'all got. She should know, y'all, y'all need to
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: go home with all that mess, get out of the
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: screwing around business. If you're gonna tell the truth and
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: feel like the other person got to know, you need
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: to get out that business.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Y'all don't want to say you do it wrong.
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: It's wrong of you to sleep with this girl's fiance,
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: But now you all of a sudden you're righteous, right, h.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: So she doesn't owe her an explanation.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: Messed up everything, you Ben, messed up everything, and now
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: what can you say to this woman?
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: And it wasn't even worth it. They had the worst
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: drunken sec ever.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: There is no worth it.
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: It could have been the best night of his life.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: If he lose his girl, yeah, it ain't worth it.
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: The problem with this whole thing up for you is
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: the truth, y'all. Y'all, y'all need to go some little
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: sit down with all this hip. Stop running your damn mouth.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: If you're not gonna lie, shut up.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: If you're not gonna lie, don't talk.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Because your mouth so so Steve, you're saying that.
- 1:13:10Speaker 9: The lady that wrote the letter is she's not gonna
- 1:13:13Speaker 9: lie and co sign on what the dude said, ride
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: with his lie to say it didn't happen, and she
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: doesn't say anything.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: That's what friends are for.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: They made that's keep lying.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: True because my boy would have to would have to
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: take the hit for me. He cofored for me. If
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: y'all gonna be best friends.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: But but now you got the opposite sex friends, and
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: now you got a problem.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I just don't see how this is gonna work.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: And I think you should ignore the phone calls and
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: leave that business between them. But then you you are
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: they business because you put yourself in it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: He cheated on his fee. Say with you you can
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: see his friend and if you want to, but yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: you can say all.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: That show, yeah, yeah, all right, we'll have a years.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: Like you don't remember that.
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming

- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Who's a jar?
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: Yeah? You have what money? About fifty grand? It's a lot.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: See. No, ya, it's not just that. It's not just
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: the money. That's the cost of it.
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: Uh huh.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: This is the process.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it's another process. You got to pay the money
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: because they got a building. It's darn the ground. But okay,
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: it's more than just paying some money.
- 1:15:34Speaker 9: Donald Trump got a star before Doctor Drake. Yes, I'm
- 1:15:40Speaker 9: struggling reading the names.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: Well, the most important thing is that he's getting it. Finally.
- 1:15:47Speaker 7: Yeah, I wonder if his speech will be like snoops,
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: I want to thank me, okay.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: For all that I did.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: Finally. All right, we'll have more of the.

- 1:16:21Speaker 5: Huh?
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, just the small estimmitted. I don't want to itch
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: at all.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Okay, you just want too small?
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: That's standing over it.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: But you don't want penny lines, do you. They're too small?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I want them lines outside of itching.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: Yes, a man's pants ain't supposed to be that tight,
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: but you see petty lines anyway.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Let me explain something too. Okay, that's it. No, No,

- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Which chopsticks? Fingers my hand?
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: No, I've done that before. The real tradition is to
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: eat with your hands everything. Okay, I'm just gonna tell
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: you right now. Soup ain't real big over there. Let's
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: just be clear. What's yeah, now, you know listen, man,
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: in restaurants and stuff, nobody does that. But when they
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: go you go to some people's homes, it's tradition.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: They eat, they head okay, okay, And it's it's.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: Tough, man. You gotta scoop it in. Sometimes you mash
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: it together. It's just it's just too much.
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: So that's a lot of.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: People with those long women with the long nails. Yeah,
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: all right.
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Would you rather make your own clothes? Make your own clothes.
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: Would you rather grow your own food?
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Yeah? I'm doing that now. Yeah, you know how big
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: a food I look with something I made.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: Blue cheese and fell off.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: You're looking crazy?
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: S Did you?
- 1:18:29Speaker 8: Did you make that one of your sleeves longer than
- 1:18:32Speaker 8: the other or I ain't got no zipple.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I couldn't get that to work under button.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: Man, buttons ain't lined up right. Yeah, I look bad
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: enough when I was wearing my sister's out fit. She
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: when going to my sister was not a tailor, knew
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: how to soap. That's the difference.
- 1:18:59Speaker 7: Yeah, last one, guys, Would you rather never pay taxes again?
- 1:19:05Speaker 7: Or never make love again?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: What did you hear? Beato?
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: Over never making love ever again?
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: You go to prison for them taxes.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: All right, guys, that's today's round of would you rather?
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: Coming up next to our last break of the day,
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: and we will close out the show with the one
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: All right, guys, here we are on this Monday, our
- 1:19:40Speaker 7: last break of the day, and Steve, I know you
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: have some words of wisdom.
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: Earlier today, Junior had mentioned to me to talk to
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: him about perseverance. And as I thought about it, it's
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: something that I started saying about a year ago because
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: somebody had breached a subject with me about my ability
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: to stay level, my ability to maintain. How have I
- 1:20:12Speaker 4: managed to keep forging ahead in the light of so
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: much negativity, in the light of so many, so many attacks.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: That was the subject and at the time it came
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: to me and I shared it again this morning. One
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: of the key things about being able to persevere, which
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: means to see it through, to see it through, to persevere.
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: And I said, the first time I became keenly aware
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: of this word persevere was in nineteen seventy six. Perseverance
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: is a cardinal principle of something that I've involved in.
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: Perseverance is one of the cardinal principles of it, and
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: perseverance Man, I started learning what it was, and what
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: I was telling Junior was one of the things that's
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: enabled me to persevere is really simple. I know how
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: to suffer. And as we were talking about the word
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: suffering off the ad, the team kind of pointed out
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: to me, but you know, when you say suffer, it
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: means so many things to so many different people. You know,
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: it's pain, it's sickness, it's it's enduring, it's suffering.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: And what I've learned how to do is how to suffer.
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: If you can get comfortable being uncomfortable, I cannot tell
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: you how that skill set will serve you in your life.
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: I suffer oftentimes in silence, without anybody knowing. I have
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: understood suffering so good that you don't even know when
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: I'm suffering. I have understood suffering to the point where
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: I can still function while I'm suffering. If you can
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: master suffering, and it's not easy, but let me simplify
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: it for you. Suffering is very, very uncomfortable. But let
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: me help you all understand something. If you can get
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: comfortable being uncomfortable, I cannot tell you how that skill
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: set will serve you in your life.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: It will get you through some of the darkest times.
- 1:22:49Speaker 4: But you have got to get comfortable being uncomfortable in
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: your life if you have any aspirations of being successful,
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: because success is on the other side of uncomfortable.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: It always is.
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: In order to get to something, you got to go
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: through something, and that's where most people lose it.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You don't like being uncomfortable, I have news for you.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: No one does. I don't like suffering.
- 1:23:22Speaker 4: I have news for you. No one does nobody. But
- 1:23:28Speaker 4: if you keep living in this world, you will know
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: what suffering is. Suffering is staying up all night to
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: pass the bar exam. Suffering is trying to get yourself
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: a college degree when you didn't get the proper tools
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: to prepare yourself for college. Suffering is having an illness
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: that you have to constantly deal with, but somehow you
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: get through it anyway. Suffering comes in the loss of
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: a loved one. Suffering comes in defeat. Suffering comes in
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: losing your income. Suffering comes in getting foreclosed on. Suffering
- 1:24:09Speaker 4: comes in the form of repossession. Suffering comes in the
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: form of failure. I can't tell you how many ways
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: that is to suffer. It's an endless array. It's a
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: plethora of opportunities to suffer, and we're all gonna have
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: to deal with one of them sooner or much sooner
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: than later. And you're going to have to understand.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: It over and over and over and over.
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: It has become the one thing that have become exceptionally
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: good at doing. And people take this as a negative connotation,
- 1:24:49Speaker 4: But boy, let me tell you something. You best to
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: get used to it, because it's coming. It's coming again
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: and again and again and again. And if you're so
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: tired of suffering that you just ain't gonna do it
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: no more, DA's when you lose hope. That's why people
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: give up. If you can get comfortable being uncomfortable, I
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: cannot tell you how that skill set will serve you
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: in your life. That's when the devil wins. Because the
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: devil got one job to rob you of your destiny,
- 1:25:29Speaker 4: and what better way than to make you suffer?
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: Do you know?
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: When Satan came after Job, he said, I can get job,
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: and God said, I got a bad boy over there,
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: and you know what to did? The devil threw everything
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: at him, and God allowed it because he knew the
- 1:25:45Speaker 4: soldier that he had in Job Job suffered through immist
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: pressures and pains. They did everything to Job. He never
- 1:25:55Speaker 4: denounced his love for the Lord, and his reward was great.
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: Learn how to suffer, you will learn how to win,
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: and that's all we try to do. Those are my
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: closing remarks today, Lord have mercy.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: All right, amen, Hey y'all have a great day to day.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Talk to God. Okay, he'd absolutely love to hear from.
