Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Hamas Protestors Storm the White House, Hunter Surrenders & ESPN CAUGHT Lying
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Center.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Nice to be with you today, and we have got
- 0:04Speaker 2: two major topics to talk about. Obviously, Hunter Biden and
- 0:07Speaker 2: the possibility he may actually show up. I want to
- 0:09Speaker 2: get your prediction on that, but not yet. Before we
- 0:11Speaker 2: get to that, I want to deal with something that
- 0:13Speaker 2: happened the White House and also the way that it's
- 0:16Speaker 2: covered by the media. We had these pro Palestinian protesters
- 0:20Speaker 2: trying to storm the White House. This has somehow become normal.
- 0:24Speaker 2: That concerns me on its face, but we also had
- 0:28Speaker 2: I think what was even more shocking is just how
- 0:30Speaker 2: the media that did cover it kind of downplayed it, like, Oh,
- 0:33Speaker 2: it wasn't that big of a deal. Yeah, they're pushing
- 0:35Speaker 2: on fences, Yeah they're throwing bottles, Yeah they're saying blank
- 0:38Speaker 2: Joe Biden. I worry about this from what could happen
- 0:41Speaker 2: in the future, if this becomes the new norm.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Does it concern you at all?
- 0:45Speaker 3: So it does. This is a story of escalating extremism.
- 0:48Speaker 3: This is a story of threats of violence. This is
- 0:51Speaker 3: a story of law enforcement applying double standards. This is
- 0:55Speaker 3: a story about our exposure to real and serious terrorism,
- 0:59Speaker 3: and it's story about the media silencing any narrative they
- 1:05Speaker 3: don't like. I just want to ask you this, as
- 1:07Speaker 3: you're sitting here listening to this podcast over the weekend,
- 1:13Speaker 3: did you watch any six o'clock news that said today
- 1:18Speaker 3: prohamas protesters stormed the White House. You didn't, And there's
- 1:23Speaker 3: the reason you didn't because none of the news covered it.
- 1:26Speaker 3: But take a look at the video at what happened
- 1:28Speaker 3: this week, and this is at the White House. So
- 1:45Speaker 3: I got to say that that is some of the
- 1:47Speaker 3: most concerted let's go, Brandon, I.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Have ever heard. Yeah, let me.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Ask you something. If the same scene had played out,
- 1:57Speaker 3: except instead of screaming Fbiden, they screamed the same thing
- 2:02Speaker 3: about Donald Trump, how do you think CNN would have
- 2:05Speaker 3: handled it in.
- 2:06Speaker 1: A very big, very different way.
- 2:08Speaker 2: They would have actually covered it, probably wall to wall,
- 2:10Speaker 2: probably live, probably would have been at the White House
- 2:13Speaker 2: and showing it.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You know, same thing, ABCNBCCBS. And yet when they agree
- 2:19Speaker 3: with the protesters, it's not news. Now. There you see
- 2:22Speaker 3: them screaming. There, you see them slamming into the fences
- 2:25Speaker 3: that are guarding the White House. There you see them
- 2:27Speaker 3: trying to push them over.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You can see bottles being thrown over, rocks being thrown
- 2:34Speaker 2: over for you guys that are listening to audio only,
- 2:36Speaker 2: and they're throwing them at the White House complex and
- 2:39Speaker 2: also at the Secret Service and Capitol police there.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And this is the double standard I think as well.
- 2:45Speaker 2: If a conservative group was doing this, it would also
- 2:49Speaker 2: be wall to wall live coverage, certainly on cable television,
- 2:53Speaker 2: that there was a you know, right to life group,
- 2:55Speaker 2: which they wouldn't be doing this now.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Throwing bottles, throwing rocks an end.
- 2:59Speaker 2: They would be using the insurrection their favorite word, and
- 3:02Speaker 2: they would be demanding that there would be lots of arrests.
- 3:05Speaker 3: So let's be clear. If you walk out today and
- 3:08Speaker 3: you walk out on any public street and you pick
- 3:10Speaker 3: up a rock and you throw it at a police officer,
- 3:13Speaker 3: what's gonna happen.
- 3:14Speaker 2: You would hope that person I say hope because you
- 3:17Speaker 2: never know anymore, would be arrested.
- 3:19Speaker 3: In any sane world, they will throw your butt to
- 3:21Speaker 3: the ground, they will put you in handcuffs, and they
- 3:23Speaker 3: will arrest you. You don't get to throw rocks and
- 3:26Speaker 3: bottles at police officers or at Secret Service agents. In
- 3:31Speaker 3: this instance, we see the protesters in the video. For
- 3:34Speaker 3: those of you that are not watching the video, there
- 3:36Speaker 3: are multiple rocks. There are multiple bottles being flung over
- 3:39Speaker 3: the fence straight at the law enforcement, and right in
- 3:41Speaker 3: the background is the White House. I mean, this is
- 3:43Speaker 3: right on the lawn of the White House where these
- 3:45Speaker 3: protesters are throwing rocks, are throwing bottles. And then take
- 3:50Speaker 3: a look at this next video.
- 3:54Speaker 2: This is the one that concerns me the most because
- 3:57Speaker 2: there seems to be real momentum center of of actually
- 4:00Speaker 2: breaching the White House. They're trying to breach. They're screaming,
- 4:04Speaker 2: break it down. You can hear them there. I mean,
- 4:10Speaker 2: this is the mob is surging.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So if you're not watching this video, there is temporary
- 4:16Speaker 3: fencing erected outside the White House that they put up
- 4:18Speaker 3: presumably because they knew that this protest slash riot was
- 4:22Speaker 3: going to happen, and you see the mob surging and
- 4:25Speaker 3: trying to tear it down. Now, they didn't succeed in
- 4:28Speaker 3: this instance, although the public reports are that they damage
- 4:31Speaker 3: the fencing, but they didn't manage to tear it down.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But I got to say, if you're Hamas and you're
- 4:37Speaker 3: watching this and you say, wait a second, it's that
- 4:40Speaker 3: easy to almost tear down the fence that gives you
- 4:44Speaker 3: access to the White House. What kind of invitation is
- 4:48Speaker 3: that for terrorism especially? Look, all right, fine, you're throwing rocks,
- 4:53Speaker 3: you're throwing bottles at police officers. You are trying to
- 4:57Speaker 3: push down the gate, you're coming close to pushing down
- 4:59Speaker 3: the fence vents. Actually, hold on. There's one more video
- 5:03Speaker 3: you can see where they're climbing the fences. So take
- 5:04Speaker 3: a look at this video.
- 5:08Speaker 2: And also throwing things over the fencing. You can see
- 5:11Speaker 2: them trying to remove a piece of the fencing there.
- 5:14Speaker 2: If you're not getting to watch this, there's sections of
- 5:16Speaker 2: this fencing and you can see where one of them
- 5:18Speaker 2: has become disengaged from the other piece of the fence.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And that's the weakest link now in this fence, and
- 5:24Speaker 2: that's where all the Secret Service and Cavin Police apparently
- 5:27Speaker 2: have surge to protect that so that people can't get
- 5:31Speaker 2: through that basic gap where there's no weakness there.
- 5:35Speaker 3: And there you can see one of the riders climbing
- 5:37Speaker 3: the fence, trying to get over the fence. Look, on
- 5:40Speaker 3: one level, we should be grateful there have been no
- 5:45Speaker 3: reports of injuries of officers, so that's good. I'm very
- 5:48Speaker 3: grateful that assuming there were no injuries that's a good thing.
- 5:52Speaker 3: When you're flinging rocks and bottles at officers, that's an
- 5:54Speaker 3: invitation to violence. And it may be that these protesters
- 5:58Speaker 3: just have allows the aim. I don't know, But what
- 6:01Speaker 3: is striking is in the face of this, what's also
- 6:03Speaker 3: been reported is that there were zero arrests. So you
- 6:07Speaker 3: can go and try to tear down the fence at
- 6:09Speaker 3: the White House. You can go throw rocks, you can
- 6:11Speaker 3: go and throw throw bottles, you can try to climb
- 6:14Speaker 3: over the fence, and nothing happens to you. And contrast
- 6:18Speaker 3: this to the massive expenditure of law enforcement efforts going
- 6:24Speaker 3: after January sixth, after every peaceful protest. Mind you, the
- 6:29Speaker 3: Department of Justice has made clear the US Attorney in
- 6:32Speaker 3: DC has said they are going after and trying to
- 6:34Speaker 3: prosecute people from January sixth who did not engage in
- 6:38Speaker 3: violence and who did not enter the capitol. Yeah, so
- 6:42Speaker 3: at this point they're saying, if you stood in a
- 6:44Speaker 3: place that we've determined you're not allowed to stand, even
- 6:47Speaker 3: though you didn't enter the capitol, even go to engage
- 6:49Speaker 3: in no acts of violence, We're coming and breaking down
- 6:52Speaker 3: your door and we're going to arrest you. It is
- 6:54Speaker 3: at this point blatant, brazen. They are not hiding it.
- 6:58Speaker 3: January sixth is their excuse to persecute the political opponents
- 7:03Speaker 3: of the president. And let's be clear, Look, the same
- 7:06Speaker 3: thing is true whether you're pro Trump, pro Biden, or
- 7:09Speaker 3: pro Hamas or pro Black Lives Matter. If you are
- 7:13Speaker 3: engaged in peaceful speech that is protected by the Constitution.
- 7:17Speaker 3: If you are engaged in violence that is not what
- 7:22Speaker 3: is striking here. They don't arrest you if they agree
- 7:26Speaker 3: with what you're doing. In this scene at the White House,
- 7:29Speaker 3: it's reminiscent of what happened at the courthouse, the Federal
- 7:31Speaker 3: courthouse in Portland were night after night after night, there
- 7:34Speaker 3: was an assault on the courthouse. There was an assault
- 7:37Speaker 3: on the courthouse that involved throwing, throwing rocks, throwing projectiles
- 7:42Speaker 3: at law enforcement, throwing essentially molotov cocktails and firebombs at
- 7:47Speaker 3: the courthouse, using industrial strength lasers trying to blind law enforcement.
- 7:52Speaker 3: There were multiple law enforcement officers injured at the Portland courthouse.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And again, what did the local police do? Nothing? Because
- 7:59Speaker 3: the Democrats there are perfectly willing to allow violent protesters
- 8:04Speaker 3: to attack and injure law enforcement if they agree with
- 8:08Speaker 3: their policies. The same thing is true here, and because
- 8:12Speaker 3: the media is celebrating with these protesters, they're not telling
- 8:17Speaker 3: you about this kind of assault at the White House.
- 8:19Speaker 1: There's a national.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Security aspect of this, and you mentioned a moment ago,
- 8:22Speaker 2: but I go back to the opening scenes of the
- 8:25Speaker 2: movie Argo, which is the true story about great movie
- 8:28Speaker 2: by the.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Way, phenomenal movie, and that opening scene.
- 8:30Speaker 2: If you've never seen it, go watch it, and it's
- 8:33Speaker 2: so realistic to what actually happened that day and Iran,
- 8:36Speaker 2: where they were protesting day after day, and the protests
- 8:39Speaker 2: that kept getting bigger, and then it was all of
- 8:41Speaker 2: a sudden, get over the gate. Then it was the
- 8:44Speaker 2: gates wid open, and then you had the entire hostage
- 8:47Speaker 2: situation that took place.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I see this.
- 8:49Speaker 2: It's like you're one welled away from a fence breaking,
- 8:55Speaker 2: a barrier breaking, and then it's all hell breaks loose,
- 8:58Speaker 2: and yet we're tolerated it on a level that is
- 9:02Speaker 2: terrifying to me from a national security standpoint. As you mentioned,
- 9:05Speaker 2: what if you're Hamas, what if you're heads blah, what
- 9:08Speaker 2: if your other terrorist groups that have come across the
- 9:10Speaker 2: southern border you're learning from this, there's no way they
- 9:13Speaker 2: don't watch this and learn from it.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Look, that's exactly right, and it's important to understand the
- 9:19Speaker 3: media angle. You know, a podcast we did a couple
- 9:22Speaker 3: of months ago was entitled CNN is Hamas's Air Force.
- 9:27Speaker 3: So is ABC, so is MSNBC. If you didn't watch
- 9:30Speaker 3: or listen to that podcast, you ought to go back
- 9:33Speaker 3: and listen to it. I was actually looking and it's
- 9:35Speaker 3: one of our top ten podcasts we've ever produced, so
- 9:37Speaker 3: people really downloaded it. That one is available on audio.
- 9:41Speaker 3: All of our podcasts are available on audio, but that
- 9:43Speaker 3: one we did just like this one we're doing right
- 9:45Speaker 3: now as a video podcast, and so you ought to
- 9:48Speaker 3: actually go download the YouTube. By the way, when you
- 9:51Speaker 3: do it, subscribe to the podcast. You need to subscribe
- 9:54Speaker 3: to places. Number one, you need to subscribe on YouTube
- 9:57Speaker 3: that gets you the video podcast we do to typically
- 10:00Speaker 3: one out of every three pods we do as video,
- 10:02Speaker 3: and so those ones you can see what we're putting up.
- 10:06Speaker 3: And then you also need to subscribe on audio, whether
- 10:08Speaker 3: it's Apple or Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts,
- 10:11Speaker 3: because all of our podcasts are audio. So if you
- 10:14Speaker 3: just do YouTube or Rumble or some other video source,
- 10:17Speaker 3: you'll only get a third of our podcast. If you
- 10:19Speaker 3: do audio, you get all of them. But that particular
- 10:22Speaker 3: podcast CNN is hamasa's air force. We played like a
- 10:26Speaker 3: dozen stories from actual news stories. We put the video
- 10:30Speaker 3: up and we walked through one at a time, one
- 10:32Speaker 3: at a time. How Hamas has a strategy that they
- 10:37Speaker 3: know the useful idiots in the media will be their
- 10:40Speaker 3: propaganda arms. Will they will, They will amplify any story
- 10:45Speaker 3: they can to make Israel look bad, to demonize the Israelis,
- 10:48Speaker 3: to elevate the Hamas protesters. And so why is it.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It's not an accident, It's not like you know, it
- 10:55Speaker 3: was a really busy news day. This weekend was not
- 10:58Speaker 3: that busy a newsday feature the Texans putting an ass
- 11:03Speaker 3: whipping on Cleveland. Yes it did, and I'd be okay
- 11:06Speaker 3: if that led the news everywhere, I'd be all right
- 11:09Speaker 3: with that. Two pick six is what consecutively was spectacular.
- 11:13Speaker 3: So look, if that wanted to be the lead headline
- 11:16Speaker 3: for the weekend, that would be fine, but it wasn't.
- 11:18Speaker 3: The reason CNM, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC didn't lead with
- 11:23Speaker 3: this or even cover it on the news is because
- 11:26Speaker 3: this narrative is inconvenient for what they want. This looks
- 11:29Speaker 3: bad for hamas. Yeah, violently assaulting the White House. And
- 11:33Speaker 3: let's be clear, they're not violently assaulting a building. The
- 11:36Speaker 3: reason they are pressing the fence, trying to tear down
- 11:39Speaker 3: the fence to the White House, trying to violently tear
- 11:42Speaker 3: down the fence to the White House. The reason they
- 11:44Speaker 3: are yelling f Joe Biden. They are threatening physical violence.
- 11:48Speaker 3: That that that that should not be lost on anybody.
- 11:51Speaker 3: These are people throwing rocks and bottles, They're They're not
- 11:54Speaker 3: just waving signs. And in this instance, we also know
- 11:58Speaker 3: that the White House caated number one reporters and number two.
- 12:02Speaker 3: White House staff said all right, you guys need to
- 12:04Speaker 3: move because this is dangerous.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Inside the White House. Let's be very clear about that.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Let me ask you something. If you're one of the
- 12:10Speaker 3: reporters who was relocated, you know what, I'd like the
- 12:13Speaker 3: names of every reporter was relocated, and I'd like to
- 12:15Speaker 3: know did any one of them report on it? Yeah, Like,
- 12:18Speaker 3: if you're a reporter and they tell you you're at
- 12:20Speaker 3: the White House, you cannot stay where you are because
- 12:23Speaker 3: you are not physically safe. Last I check. That's news.
- 12:26Speaker 3: In a normal, sane world, that would be news. I
- 12:30Speaker 3: promise you if the protesters were wearing Maga hats, it'd
- 12:34Speaker 3: be news. Jake Tapper would be having a heart attack
- 12:38Speaker 3: on air.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, this is what insurrection looks like. This is what
- 12:41Speaker 2: they've learned from Donald Trump. This is a continuation of
- 12:44Speaker 2: January sixth.
- 12:46Speaker 3: And every reporter who was moved knows about it, every
- 12:50Speaker 3: one of them. If you were told you're no longer
- 12:52Speaker 3: safe where you are, they should report on this. But
- 12:56Speaker 3: the reason they did, and as I said, go back
- 12:59Speaker 3: and watch our pop if you didn't see an anas
- 13:01Speaker 3: Amasa's air force, because this is deliberate and Hamas counts
- 13:05Speaker 3: on their active assistance to undermine and attack Israel.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Last question on this, and it goes back to a
- 13:12Speaker 2: story we talked about earlier this week that also you
- 13:14Speaker 2: know this Sunday is the biggest news day, right It's
- 13:17Speaker 2: where all the talking heads get together, they do the
- 13:19Speaker 2: biggest week you know, the week in review shows. On
- 13:21Speaker 2: Sunday morning, there was a massive story and we covered it.
- 13:25Speaker 2: No one else did that. There's a real concern now
- 13:29Speaker 2: from the United States government that hes block could carry
- 13:31Speaker 2: out attack inside the United States of America. That was
- 13:36Speaker 2: also another story that was not covered as well that
- 13:40Speaker 2: I think ties to these types of stories as well. Right,
- 13:42Speaker 2: But you have a real concern now from within our
- 13:45Speaker 2: US government that hes block could have people in this country.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Already, the FBI keeps going to the White House saying
- 13:50Speaker 3: this risk is real and it's growing.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and yet the media is also not covering that
- 13:55Speaker 2: narrative as well. Don't the American people deserve to see
- 13:58Speaker 2: that headline first and almost saying hey, look, there is
- 14:01Speaker 2: an open border. There's a byproduct of this which is
- 14:04Speaker 2: a national security issue. And now we have warnings going
- 14:07Speaker 2: to the White House from the government that hesbelot could
- 14:10Speaker 2: actively be planning some sort of significant attack within the
- 14:13Speaker 2: United States of America in our border.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Well. And when they see that this sort of protest
- 14:18Speaker 3: slash riot can start to get violent, can try to
- 14:22Speaker 3: tear down fences, can throw rocks and bottles, and nothing
- 14:25Speaker 3: can happen to them. That is an invitation for terrorists
- 14:28Speaker 3: to do worse. And when the media doesn't cover it,
- 14:31Speaker 3: it makes it all the more likely.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Want to tell you about our friend's over at Patriot
- 14:35Speaker 2: Mobile for over ten years, Patriot Mobile has been the
- 14:39Speaker 2: only Christian conservative cell phone provider in the country.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I love them, I use them.
- 14:43Speaker 2: When I look down at my cell phone in the
- 14:45Speaker 2: top left, it says Patriot and that means I know
- 14:48Speaker 2: every time I make a phone call, every time I
- 14:50Speaker 2: send a text, and every time I pay my bill,
- 14:52Speaker 2: I am actually supporting a company that stands my values.
- 14:56Speaker 2: If you are sick and tired of giving your money
- 14:58Speaker 2: to people that hate your values, Big Mobile. They don't
- 15:01Speaker 2: like your conservative Christian values. In fact, many of them
- 15:04Speaker 2: give massive donations to democratic candidates, causes and plan Parenthood.
- 15:09Speaker 2: So stand with your values and vote with your dollars.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Stand with a company that actually gives back. That's what
- 15:16Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile does. When you pay your bill and no
- 15:18Speaker 2: extra cost to you, they give a percentage of your
- 15:21Speaker 2: bill every month back to conservative causes, organizations that stand
- 15:26Speaker 2: for First and Second Amendment rights, as well as the
- 15:29Speaker 2: rights of unborn children. I can tell you get the
- 15:31Speaker 2: same coverage you have right now. They use the same
- 15:34Speaker 2: cell phone towers, So make the switch like I did
- 15:36Speaker 2: a Patriot Mobile. You can call them. You can get
- 15:39Speaker 2: free activation as well with the promo code Verdict. All
- 15:42Speaker 2: you got to do is call them nine to seven
- 15:44Speaker 2: to two Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot nine
- 15:48Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot, or Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict.
- 15:54Speaker 2: That's patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. Senator, I want to
- 15:58Speaker 2: move to another story that this we was one that
- 16:02Speaker 2: kind of made me laugh. Hunter Biden came to Congress,
- 16:05Speaker 2: he had this stunt. He went to this committee hearing
- 16:08Speaker 2: where they're going to hold him in contempt, and then
- 16:10Speaker 2: he walks out. We found out that there were camera
- 16:12Speaker 2: crews there for his documentary. Apparently he's trying to make
- 16:15Speaker 2: money now off of this, which is pretty hilarious.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And we also.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Found out that he does, in fact know who's buying
- 16:21Speaker 2: his art seventy to eighty percent of the people that
- 16:23Speaker 2: are buying his art.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Apparently he knows about the White House.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Promised us they would all be anonymous so they couldn't
- 16:28Speaker 2: buy influence over the White House.
- 16:31Speaker 1: That was a massive lie. And now we've got a
- 16:34Speaker 1: new letter.
- 16:34Speaker 2: From his attorney saying, well, okay, we might come and testify,
- 16:39Speaker 2: but you've got to give us new reasons to come
- 16:41Speaker 2: testify and new requests to testify, because we say the
- 16:44Speaker 2: other ones were invalid.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It sounds pretty insane. Walk us through it.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Well, Listen, this is either a massive retreat from Hunter
- 16:52Speaker 3: Biden his legal team, or it's a legal game or.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Both, or just part of a great documentary.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Well be that could be. It may explain why he
- 17:02Speaker 3: showed up at the hearing. Actually, and showing up at
- 17:05Speaker 3: the hearing was an odd decision because it it had
- 17:09Speaker 3: to have made Joe Biden deeply unhappy. It had to
- 17:11Speaker 3: have made the White House deeply unhappy. They didn't like
- 17:13Speaker 3: the pictures of him sitting there smugly while he's in
- 17:16Speaker 3: the process of being held in contempt. It's it's not
- 17:19Speaker 3: a good look if you're Joe Biden. That's not a
- 17:21Speaker 3: good look. That kind of defiance, that that that kind
- 17:25Speaker 3: of I am beyond reproach. That's not a good political
- 17:28Speaker 3: story for the White House. So why did he do it? Well,
- 17:30Speaker 3: this letter may give a key. So his lawyer wrote
- 17:34Speaker 3: a letter to James Comber and a Jim Jordan, and
- 17:37Speaker 3: he said, he says Number one, he says, look, Hunter
- 17:40Speaker 3: did comply with your subpoena. And here's why he says
- 17:43Speaker 3: he complied. He said, you know you're complaining that Hunter
- 17:47Speaker 3: is seeking special treatment. But Hunter took you up on
- 17:51Speaker 3: the offers you gave. And he says, for example, and
- 17:53Speaker 3: he has two different quotes. He has one and these
- 17:57Speaker 3: are quotes from James Comber. Quote number one quote, we're
- 18:02Speaker 3: in the downhill phase of this investigation now because we
- 18:05Speaker 3: have had so many documents and we can bring these
- 18:07Speaker 3: people in for depositions or committee hearings, whichever they choose.
- 18:11Speaker 3: And he italicizes whichever they choose. And then a second quote, quote,
- 18:16Speaker 3: Hunter Biden is more than welcome to come in front
- 18:19Speaker 3: of the committee. He's invited today. We will drop everything
- 18:22Speaker 3: in front of the committee as italicized. And what Hunter
- 18:26Speaker 3: argues is, in fact, I'll read the next paragraph from
- 18:29Speaker 3: the letter, Obviously accepting your unqualified invitation to choose a
- 18:33Speaker 3: forum for his testimony is neither seeking special treatment nor
- 18:37Speaker 3: contemptuous behavior. Nevertheless, your actions demonstrate you were not serious
- 18:41Speaker 3: about getting facts of the truth and simply wanted to
- 18:44Speaker 3: stage some gotcha political theater and create another legal issue
- 18:47Speaker 3: for mister Biden. Now that explains maybe why Hunter showed
- 18:52Speaker 3: up is that his lawyers, and he's got very good,
- 18:55Speaker 3: very experienced Washington lawyers, may have been trying to set
- 18:59Speaker 3: this letter up and say, oh, look, you can't hold
- 19:01Speaker 3: him in contempt because he showed up. He would have
- 19:03Speaker 3: testified at a public hearing, and you said, give us a
- 19:06Speaker 3: deposition or give us a hearing. That's clever. I think
- 19:09Speaker 3: it's too clever by half. But that's their argument is
- 19:12Speaker 3: we we tried to comply, we showed up, and you
- 19:14Speaker 3: didn't take him up on it. That's argument number one.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Argument number two he goes back early into the Trump
- 19:21Speaker 3: impeachment inquiry when there was a big dispute about whether
- 19:24Speaker 3: the subpoenas were valid to various witnesses involved in the
- 19:28Speaker 3: Trump impeachment before the House of Representatives had voted to
- 19:32Speaker 3: open an impeachment inquiry, and Republicans had argued, well, the
- 19:36Speaker 3: House hasn't voted open an impeachment inquiry, so these subpoenas
- 19:38Speaker 3: aren't valid. And what he argues is, well, you know,
- 19:41Speaker 3: your subpoenas to Hunter were issued before the House had
- 19:44Speaker 3: voted to open an impeachment inquiry. Remember, Kevin McCarthy at
- 19:47Speaker 3: the outset said oh, we don't have the votes, so
- 19:49Speaker 3: we're not going to vote to do that. Now. Subsequently
- 19:53Speaker 3: they got the votes, and so they voted open an
- 19:55Speaker 3: impeachment inquiry in the House has voted formally to authorize
- 19:59Speaker 3: an impeachment inquory into Joe Biden and so, but what
- 20:02Speaker 3: he argues is at the time you issued the subpoena
- 20:04Speaker 3: as they were invalid because there was not a House vote.
- 20:08Speaker 3: All of what leads up to the end of the
- 20:12Speaker 3: letter where he says, quote, if you issue a new
- 20:15Speaker 3: proper subpoena now that there is a duly authorized impeachment inquiry,
- 20:20Speaker 3: mister Biden will comply for a hearing or deposition. We
- 20:27Speaker 3: meaning the lawyers will accept such a subpoena on mister
- 20:30Speaker 3: Biden's behalf. So what he's saying is all right, he'll
- 20:33Speaker 3: show up either for a hearing or a deposition. Here's
- 20:37Speaker 3: what I think the House should do. Look, on one level,
- 20:39Speaker 3: they can be annoyed, they can be pissed. These are
- 20:41Speaker 3: legal games, these legal arguments or technicalities. They're playing games.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Here's my very strong advice. So what he's offering to
- 20:49Speaker 3: show up, take him up on it. Take him up
- 20:51Speaker 3: on it. Right now. The House is back on Tuesday.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Issue the subpoena on Tuesday. You are hereby subpoena to
- 20:58Speaker 3: show up for a deposition may get a very short window,
- 21:01Speaker 3: make it a week. If they issue it on Tuesday,
- 21:04Speaker 3: you are hereby subpoena to show up next Tuesday. You
- 21:08Speaker 3: have one week. Now. Look, I can understand there will
- 21:11Speaker 3: be some lawyers in the House saying, we don't need
- 21:13Speaker 3: a new subpoena. Our other one was fine.
- 21:15Speaker 1: So what.
- 21:17Speaker 3: There'll be others who say, well, the House was getting
- 21:20Speaker 3: ready to vote on a contempt hearing. For example, here's
- 21:24Speaker 3: what Steve Scalise just tweeted out floor vote announcement with
- 21:28Speaker 3: two red sirens. Next week, the House will vote to
- 21:31Speaker 3: hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for repeatedly defying subpoenas.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Enough of his stunts. He doesn't get to play by
- 21:39Speaker 3: a different set of rules. He's not above the law.
- 21:41Speaker 3: That may have been one of the major predicates that
- 21:44Speaker 3: they're getting ready this week to vote on contempt. Here's
- 21:47Speaker 3: my advice. Hold off a week, issue the subpoenas.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Right now and say you got a week to show up.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You've got a week to show up, and delay the
- 21:54Speaker 3: contempt vote by a week. If he shows up, don't
- 21:56Speaker 3: hold him in contempt. Remember, and this is what I
- 21:58Speaker 3: would urget'sten James Comer is my friend. Jim Jordan is
- 22:02Speaker 3: my friend. Steve Scalise is my friend. These are good guys.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Remember remember, remember, Hunter Biden is not the target.
- 22:08Speaker 1: It's the President of the United States of America.
- 22:11Speaker 3: And why is that? Because the evidence is growing every
- 22:13Speaker 3: day that the President of the United States is corrupt
- 22:16Speaker 3: and so engaging in a year long battle with Hunter
- 22:19Speaker 3: Biden about whether or not Subpoena number one was technically accurate.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Who cares, Yeah, move on quickly.
- 22:26Speaker 3: If we do that, If the House does that, they
- 22:29Speaker 3: are playing into the White House's hands. That's what they want.
- 22:33Speaker 3: They want a year of legal skirmishes over issues that
- 22:36Speaker 3: don't matter. He says, if you give me a subpoena,
- 22:38Speaker 3: I will show up issue it right now, say we accept.
- 22:42Speaker 3: And by the way, I'd also say, fine, all right,
- 22:44Speaker 3: you're really excited about doing a deposition, subpoena him for
- 22:48Speaker 3: a deposition in a week, and subpoena him for a
- 22:52Speaker 3: hearing in three weeks, like we need to get the
- 22:55Speaker 3: hearing moving fast. You do the deposition in a week,
- 22:58Speaker 3: a hearing in three weeks. You got two weeks to
- 23:00Speaker 3: study everything from the deposition. But let's be clear, it
- 23:02Speaker 3: is January already. The White House's strategy is very simple
- 23:07Speaker 3: to lay this past election day, run out the clock,
- 23:09Speaker 3: run out the clock, and so the House they're great guys,
- 23:13Speaker 3: but they need to understand that the Democrats are fighting
- 23:17Speaker 3: this like street fighters. They need to be smart and
- 23:20Speaker 3: savvy and move forward. I don't know if he'll show
- 23:23Speaker 3: up or not. This may be a ruse. If you
- 23:25Speaker 3: issue the subpoena on Tuesday, you give him one week
- 23:27Speaker 3: and he doesn't show up in one week, vote on
- 23:29Speaker 3: the contempt the next day, like you can speed this up.
- 23:33Speaker 3: But if he's offering to surrender, give him a chance
- 23:37Speaker 3: to do so.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Let's talk politics to the White House for this for a moment,
- 23:41Speaker 2: because I don't believe that anybody in the White House
- 23:45Speaker 2: that is the sane political operative. What if advised Hunter
- 23:50Speaker 2: Biden to show up last week in Congress the way
- 23:53Speaker 2: that he did. Yep, it brought a lot more I think,
- 23:56Speaker 2: noise to the story.
- 23:58Speaker 3: It made the news cover, it made the news.
- 23:59Speaker 2: To their job, which and if it was for a documentary,
- 24:02Speaker 2: that was incredibly stupid.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I also don't know how much.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Is it any stupider than smoking crack then.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Your laptop in some guy's yeah place. Yeah Like.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Look, I've never met Hunter Biden, but I think it's
- 24:16Speaker 3: fair to say he's not going to be granted honorary
- 24:18Speaker 3: MENSA membership anytime soon. I would agree he has made
- 24:22Speaker 3: a series of life choices that were suboptimal, and many
- 24:27Speaker 3: of those life choices were disastrously bad for Daddy. Now,
- 24:32Speaker 3: to be clear, just taking that narrative on its face
- 24:35Speaker 3: is not the right way to look at it, because
- 24:37Speaker 3: if you just say, you know, poor Joe Biden has
- 24:40Speaker 3: anir to well Son, you know, Unfortunately, Look that happens,
- 24:43Speaker 3: and parents don't control the acts of their children anymore
- 24:48Speaker 3: than children control the acts of their parents. The reason
- 24:51Speaker 3: this is a matter of public concern, and I want
- 24:53Speaker 3: to keep underscoring it because it's easy to lose focus.
- 24:57Speaker 3: It's not Hunter Biden's drug problem. It's not his own
- 25:01Speaker 3: personal criminal activity. If his name were Hunter Smith, no
- 25:05Speaker 3: one would care. The reason it matters is because the evidence,
- 25:11Speaker 3: I think is now overwhelming that he had a business
- 25:15Speaker 3: for years, for decades of selling favors from Daddy. That
- 25:20Speaker 3: is official corruption. Daddy was the vice President of the
- 25:23Speaker 3: United States. Daddy is now the President of the United States,
- 25:26Speaker 3: and the evidence is growing that it's not just Hunter profiting,
- 25:28Speaker 3: it's the entire family. It is millions of dollars, it
- 25:31Speaker 3: is shell corporations, it is money laundering, that this is
- 25:35Speaker 3: a family business. You know the phrase the Biden crime family.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I used to not like that. In fact, you and
- 25:40Speaker 3: I on this podcast, you would use that phrase, and
- 25:43Speaker 3: I was hesitant to go down there. And I gotta admit,
- 25:45Speaker 3: is the evidence is piled up. If it ain't that,
- 25:48Speaker 3: I don't know what it is, but it sure you know,
- 25:50Speaker 3: if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck,
- 25:52Speaker 3: that's a duck, dammit. And so what I would encourage
- 25:57Speaker 3: House Republicans is remember the focus, the reason this matters
- 26:01Speaker 3: is official corruption by the President of the United States.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Everything else. Hunter, at the end of the day, is
- 26:08Speaker 3: a witness. He is a co conspirator, he is a criminal,
- 26:10Speaker 3: but he is also a witness to the corruption by
- 26:14Speaker 3: the officeholder. And that's where the focused.
- 26:17Speaker 2: And that brings me back to the question about the
- 26:18Speaker 2: White House we saw. I think I don't know how
- 26:22Speaker 2: much the presence honestly involved in this I think you
- 26:24Speaker 2: would probably agree with me on that. I don't know
- 26:26Speaker 2: if he's picking up the phone saying yeah, go show
- 26:28Speaker 2: show up to his son.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I okay, I think no, I don't know.
- 26:33Speaker 2: I don't know because I don't know how much he's
- 26:35Speaker 2: even involved in the in the real strategies.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Here, because nobody focused on Joe Biden's political interest and
- 26:41Speaker 3: I do believe Joe Biden is very interested in Joe
- 26:44Speaker 3: Biden's political interests, would advise Hunter to do that? That
- 26:48Speaker 3: was a decision that hurt the White House?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Well, then, and that's where I go back to, how
- 26:53Speaker 2: concerned do you think they are that if he testifies,
- 26:56Speaker 2: he might be unhinged enough to say something stupid, Because
- 27:00Speaker 2: as we saw Joe Biden, the first Lady came out.
- 27:02Speaker 2: We played this earlier this week in one of our
- 27:04Speaker 2: episodes go back and listen to it. Joe Biden came out,
- 27:07Speaker 2: did a one on one interview and talked about this
- 27:10Speaker 2: and talked about you know, their son, and well, he's
- 27:14Speaker 2: an addict and you should feel sorry for him. And
- 27:16Speaker 2: in fact, she accused Republicans saying, how dare you put
- 27:19Speaker 2: him through this pain of having to answer these questions
- 27:22Speaker 2: you're picking on him.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Stop it.
- 27:24Speaker 3: How dare your husband sell influence and sell favors? How
- 27:27Speaker 3: dare your husband make make and your family make millions
- 27:30Speaker 3: of dollars not from our friends, but from corrupt oligarchs
- 27:33Speaker 3: in communist China and Russia and Ukraine. This is this
- 27:37Speaker 3: is about official corruption. And they're going to try to
- 27:40Speaker 3: play the sympathy card and says it's just substance abuse. No,
- 27:45Speaker 3: if that were it, you should send him to rehab.
- 27:48Speaker 3: It's not just substance abuse. The evidence here is of
- 27:51Speaker 3: official corruption. That's why it matters. And so again, I
- 27:56Speaker 3: can't underscore this more. We said this when James Comer
- 27:58Speaker 3: was on the podcast. The White House wants this to
- 28:02Speaker 3: be delayed with all sorts of ancillary legal battles. Was
- 28:06Speaker 3: this poena valid? Was that subpoena valid? Who's on first?
- 28:09Speaker 3: What's on second? Like anything other than the question what
- 28:13Speaker 3: did Joe Biden know and what and when did he
- 28:15Speaker 3: know it? What did he make? What was his role?
- 28:18Speaker 3: They want to protect Joe Biden. And if we're fighting
- 28:20Speaker 3: over other issues, we're not focused on Joe Biden. So
- 28:24Speaker 3: is it fair that he can move the goalpost and say, oh,
- 28:28Speaker 3: I don't like that's poena, but I like this the
- 28:30Speaker 3: poena No, but who cares? You're going to show up? Yes,
- 28:33Speaker 3: we accept, and if you don't in a week, we'll
- 28:36Speaker 3: hold you in contempt.
- 28:37Speaker 2: All right, real quick, though, let's talk about your finances.
- 28:40Speaker 2: It's twenty twenty four and a lot of us are
- 28:43Speaker 2: trying to get our finances in order. There are some
- 28:46Speaker 2: great news for homeowners. Interest rates have dropped and are
- 28:49Speaker 2: now in the fives, a lot lower than what they
- 28:52Speaker 2: were last year. If you've been buried in high interest
- 28:56Speaker 2: credit card debt, now's the time to break free. American
- 28:59Speaker 2: Finance and can help you access the cash in your
- 29:02Speaker 2: home to pay off your high interest debt. Last year,
- 29:06Speaker 2: their salary based mortgage consultants help customers save an average
- 29:10Speaker 2: of eight hundred and fifty four dollars a month. That's
- 29:14Speaker 2: like giving yourself a ten thousand dollar raise. What a
- 29:18Speaker 2: way to start the new year off. And if you
- 29:20Speaker 2: start today, you may be able to delay two mortgage payments.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Call American Financing Today eight and eight six seven five
- 29:30Speaker 2: forty nine. That's eight and eight six seven five forty nine.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Americanfinancing dot net MLS eighteen twenty three thirty four MLS
- 29:42Speaker 2: Consumer access dot Org APR for rates in the five
- 29:45Speaker 2: start at six point four Zeroso for well qualified borrowers.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Call eight and eight six seven, five forty nine for
- 29:53Speaker 2: details about credit costs and terms. All right, lastly, I
- 29:57Speaker 2: do have to ask you about a story. And you
- 30:00Speaker 2: love sports as much as I love sports. I watched
- 30:04Speaker 2: a lot of sports. It's my way of just, you know,
- 30:06Speaker 2: disconnecting from the political world. There was one story this
- 30:10Speaker 2: week that just made me so happy that ESPN got busted.
- 30:14Speaker 2: The same people that are so sanctimonious about anybody that
- 30:17Speaker 2: they think might be doing something wrong in sports, and
- 30:20Speaker 2: they got all in on the Black Lives Matter and
- 30:22Speaker 2: all the kneeling protests and stood behind people that were kneeling.
- 30:27Speaker 2: So this happened this week. ESPN took awards won by
- 30:32Speaker 2: imaginary people whose names they submitted on purpose, so John Do,
- 30:38Speaker 2: Jane Doo right, people that didn't work for them, didn't
- 30:40Speaker 2: even exist, they knew didn't exist, and then had these
- 30:44Speaker 2: awards after they won, re engraved to give quote on
- 30:48Speaker 2: air personalities statues. ESPN awarded the trophies to front facing
- 30:55Speaker 2: figures to give them more clout so this was like
- 30:58Speaker 2: a clear conspiracy to raise, you know, the stature of
- 31:02Speaker 2: their own on air people. They gave these figures to
- 31:05Speaker 2: college game day hosts such as Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreet,
- 31:09Speaker 2: Chris Fowler, Desmond Howard, and Sam Ponder. This is because
- 31:14Speaker 2: quote hosts were not eligible to be honored in a
- 31:18Speaker 2: credit list until twenty twenty three. Now, this scheme was
- 31:22Speaker 2: something that went on, not for like a year or two,
- 31:25Speaker 2: went on for decades. What happened, well until twenty twenty three.
- 31:30Speaker 2: They said, we were just trying to give them what
- 31:32Speaker 2: we thought was so they needed. They're now being forced
- 31:35Speaker 2: to give the statues back. I got to get your
- 31:37Speaker 2: reaction to it. It's amazing.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Well, listen, like a lot of sports fans, ESPN pisses
- 31:43Speaker 3: me off. ESPN pisses me off because they've decided in
- 31:46Speaker 3: recent years that they don't actually really care about sports.
- 31:48Speaker 3: They care about woke politics, and so they spend it
- 31:51Speaker 3: seems more time lecturing us about their radical politics than
- 31:55Speaker 3: actually covering sports, like watching amazing plays, watching great catches
- 31:59Speaker 3: in the end zone, watching you know, tomahawk dunks or
- 32:02Speaker 3: crushing blocks, or you know, amazing Grand Slam hits. I mean,
- 32:07Speaker 3: sports is is fun to watch, but they've said, no, no, no,
- 32:11Speaker 3: we're political commentators. We're left wing, and you know what,
- 32:15Speaker 3: MSNBC is not woke enough for us. We can be
- 32:18Speaker 3: to the left of MSNBC. And it pisses me off
- 32:21Speaker 3: because most sports fans are not hardcore Marxist. We're watching
- 32:24Speaker 3: it because we enjoy it, and so ESPN it is
- 32:29Speaker 3: almost worth watching it on mute. I don't quite do that,
- 32:33Speaker 3: because you do learn when they cover sports, you occasionally
- 32:36Speaker 3: learn some interesting things, and so I like, you know,
- 32:38Speaker 3: I like hearing the commentary of you know so and so.
- 32:40Speaker 3: This is, for example, the the Cleveland Browns, I learned
- 32:44Speaker 3: when the Texans were winning, were the first team in
- 32:47Speaker 3: twenty years to make the playoffs after leading the NFL
- 32:50Speaker 3: in turnovers. Did you know that?
- 32:51Speaker 1: I did not know that.
- 32:52Speaker 3: It's it that's kind of interesting, you know at FLACCOH Look,
- 32:55Speaker 3: Flack is a very good quarterback. He just has a
- 32:57Speaker 3: bad habit of throwing interceptions. But he's still he's an
- 33:00Speaker 3: old dude. So I sort of like watching old dudes
- 33:02Speaker 3: that are not not yet uh put out that.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Habit as long as he's on the other team. I
- 33:07Speaker 1: love that habit.
- 33:08Speaker 3: It was they weren't interceptions, they were great passes to
- 33:11Speaker 3: our defenders and needed needed to score. Our defense almost
- 33:14Speaker 3: outscored the offense. I mean that was the fourteen points
- 33:17Speaker 3: from the d is pretty good. All right. Anyway, that's
- 33:20Speaker 3: commentary you like to hear. That's kind of an interesting
- 33:22Speaker 3: FACTOI and it's like, huh, I didn't know that. But
- 33:26Speaker 3: instead ESPN just yabbers on and it's a corporate decision.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Corporate It's I don't even I remember. I remember when
- 33:34Speaker 3: I saw the change in real life. You remember on
- 33:36Speaker 3: ESPN too, they used to show Cole Pizza. They would
- 33:39Speaker 3: have on guests.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I was a guest that did that show regularly, and
- 33:43Speaker 2: I did it when there was a controversy that was
- 33:45Speaker 2: quasi kind of like political in nature with it with sports,
- 33:49Speaker 2: and they used to have both sides, and then all
- 33:50Speaker 2: of a sudden they said, hey, we basically ban all conservatives.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah. But by the way, I'm curious, check me on this.
- 33:57Speaker 3: When when Daily Wire came out with their movie Lady Baller,
- 34:01Speaker 3: in which yours truly has a cameo. Now it's a
- 34:04Speaker 3: sports movie. It's a sports movie.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I wonder if you'll get an Emmy for that, Like
- 34:07Speaker 2: if they because that's a real name, they could at
- 34:09Speaker 2: least nominate, right, But.
- 34:11Speaker 3: My question, did ESPN cover the movie Lady.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Ballers, which was a sports movie. They should have at
- 34:16Speaker 1: least mentioned it.
- 34:17Speaker 3: It's a sports movie. It's really funny. It's like dodgeball.
- 34:19Speaker 3: It's really funny. The premise of Lady Ballers, which if
- 34:22Speaker 3: you haven't watched it, you ought to go watch it
- 34:25Speaker 3: because you'll laugh. It's well done. I have a tiny cameo,
- 34:28Speaker 3: so my part is completely inconsequential. But the premise is
- 34:31Speaker 3: a bunch of guys in their forties who, when they
- 34:33Speaker 3: were in high school where the state champion in basketball,
- 34:36Speaker 3: decide to pretend they're women and dominate women's basketball. It's
- 34:42Speaker 3: really damn funny. It's amazing no one's made this movie
- 34:44Speaker 3: for twenty years because it's an obvious premise, but they
- 34:47Speaker 3: do it.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Beauty, very predictable movie that should have been made.
- 34:51Speaker 3: But no one would. And by the way, most Hollywood
- 34:53Speaker 3: actors won't participate in it because they'd be blackballed for
- 34:56Speaker 3: daring to laugh at the idio ces of the woke
- 35:00Speaker 3: left well. ESPN would never acknowledge it exists, but we
- 35:04Speaker 3: now know, and this story is amazing that ESPN in
- 35:08Speaker 3: addition to being woke leftist propagandists, they are liars. They
- 35:14Speaker 3: are engaged in.
- 35:15Speaker 1: That active from decades.
- 35:16Speaker 3: And understand what this lie is. It's really quite stunning.
- 35:20Speaker 3: So they're submitting to an award show to win awards,
- 35:24Speaker 3: and they're asked to list all of the crew. So
- 35:27Speaker 3: if we give you an award, who deserves it and
- 35:30Speaker 3: they just for decades put fake names there. Yeah, now
- 35:34Speaker 3: they want a bunch of these awards, and so they'd
- 35:37Speaker 3: get the award statues with a fake name. You know,
- 35:40Speaker 3: you might say that is a Mickey Mouse award, Well,
- 35:42Speaker 3: it might have been a Mickey Mouse award. It might
- 35:43Speaker 3: have been awarded to Mickey Mouse. Because they just they
- 35:47Speaker 3: made up names of human beings that don't exist, not
- 35:50Speaker 3: even people that didn't work on the show. Just totally
- 35:53Speaker 3: made up names. And why did they do it? Because
- 35:56Speaker 3: they wanted the little statuette.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Yeah, the Emmy's a big deal.
- 35:59Speaker 3: To pull the name plateed off and put somebody else's
- 36:04Speaker 3: name that was their on air talent, and their on
- 36:06Speaker 3: air talent was ineligible. And understand ESPN is being forced
- 36:10Speaker 3: to return. I think it's thirty thirty seven, thirty seven,
- 36:13Speaker 3: thirty seven.
- 36:14Speaker 2: So they were ordered ESPN to return a total of
- 36:16Speaker 2: thirty seven trophies, each of which was intended for a
- 36:19Speaker 2: behind the scenes employee who does not exist. Former ESPN
- 36:23Speaker 2: reporter Shelley Smith told The New York Times that in
- 36:27Speaker 2: May of twenty twenty three, executive Stephanie Dooley ordered her
- 36:32Speaker 2: to return her two Sports Emmy statues. Duley apparently told
- 36:36Speaker 2: her that it was a serious matter and that the
- 36:38Speaker 2: reason must stay between them.
- 36:40Speaker 1: So it wasn't just that they got busted.
- 36:42Speaker 2: There was in a cover up to make sure that
- 36:44Speaker 2: the story didn't go public after they were ordered to
- 36:47Speaker 2: get back the thirty seven.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Try So, Ben, I'm gonna go online and I'm gonna
- 36:50Speaker 3: see if you can order a fake Emmy, and I'm
- 36:52Speaker 3: going to order a fake Emmy with the name Mickey Mouse.
- 36:55Speaker 3: And then when it arrives, I'm gonna take Mickey Mouse
- 36:57Speaker 3: off and I'm gonna put Ben Ferguson on.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I love it you won for Lady Ballers, and I'll
- 37:01Speaker 2: just make it up because.
- 37:03Speaker 3: We but I want to put the Emmy up our
- 37:05Speaker 3: Emmy award winning podcast because you know what, we won
- 37:08Speaker 3: as many Emmys as the on air talent ESPN did it.
- 37:12Speaker 3: They are literally fraudulent liars. And let me ask you
- 37:16Speaker 3: a question. For every on air talent who had the
- 37:19Speaker 3: statue in his office, who had it on TV, how
- 37:23Speaker 3: many of them have apologized? How many of them have
- 37:25Speaker 3: gone on air and said, you know what, I went
- 37:27Speaker 3: on TV with an Emmy behind me that I didn't win,
- 37:29Speaker 3: and it was fake and it was fraudulent, and I'm
- 37:31Speaker 3: sorry for lying to you. And by the way, if
- 37:33Speaker 3: their claim is we didn't know, how many of them
- 37:36Speaker 3: have said I want to apologize. I didn't know, but
- 37:39Speaker 3: my bosses did yea, And my bosses put it up
- 37:42Speaker 3: because they were lying to you. They claimed to be
- 37:44Speaker 3: a journalistic outlet, but they are engaged in fraud and
- 37:47Speaker 3: they're lying to you. As far as I can tell,
- 37:50Speaker 3: there has been zero journalistic integrity nobody at ESPN.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Time, and there's a cover up.
- 37:57Speaker 2: That's the best part of the story is not only
- 37:59Speaker 2: were they busted, but ESPN executives are saying this has
- 38:02Speaker 2: to stay between you and I. I need your Emmy back,
- 38:04Speaker 2: and don't talk about it. Don't tell anybody. I need
- 38:07Speaker 2: it back quickly. We don't want anybody in the public
- 38:09Speaker 2: to find out we were doing this for decades.
- 38:11Speaker 3: By the way, I really want to know the names
- 38:13Speaker 3: of the fake employees, like how good they were? Yeah,
- 38:16Speaker 3: did they do John Doe? Did they do Mickey Mouse?
- 38:19Speaker 3: Did they do who flung dou Like? Like like what
- 38:21Speaker 3: what kind of you know, peaking duck? Like what what
- 38:24Speaker 3: kind of names did they go with? That would be
- 38:27Speaker 3: great to know. I feel confident we will never know
- 38:29Speaker 3: because ESPN and their parent company will do everything they
- 38:32Speaker 3: can to say nothing to see here.
- 38:34Speaker 2: This is Disney, right, Just just want to throw that
- 38:36Speaker 2: out there, right, Does I think that's right?
- 38:39Speaker 1: So to be fair, maybe Mickey Mouse Sickey Mouse distressed.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Maybe they gave the name plate to Mickey Mouse. So
- 38:46Speaker 3: it was a two fer it, you know, the Seven
- 38:48Speaker 3: Dwarves all one Emmys.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Sleepy got one. I like that.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Well done, Well done to ESPN, good job trying to
- 38:55Speaker 2: cover it up, And I'm so glad they got roasted.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Don't forget we do this show. Monday was a Friday.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Please make sure. And the algorithms have changed. On Apple
- 39:02Speaker 2: you hit that follow button, you have to check back
- 39:04Speaker 2: they've changed it. Some of you have been complaining that
- 39:07Speaker 2: you're not auto downloading the show anymore. You have to
- 39:09Speaker 2: manually go in and hit that follow button or subscribe.
- 39:12Speaker 3: By the way, I can I jump in and say
- 39:14Speaker 3: something you told me today, which is weird. Yes, okay,
- 39:16Speaker 3: I'm giving no commentary as to why, but apparently the
- 39:19Speaker 3: empirical data is that women, God bless you are much
- 39:23Speaker 3: more effective about hitting subscribe over and over again, which
- 39:26Speaker 3: is thank you, because Apple's messing with you and you
- 39:28Speaker 3: got to hit subscribe over and over again. And for
- 39:30Speaker 3: whatever reason, women do this, but men are dufuses and don't.
- 39:35Speaker 3: And so I want to speak to men prove Ben wrong.
- 39:38Speaker 3: Ben Ferguson says, you're a dufus. I want to stand
- 39:42Speaker 3: in for the show. And I was like, You're like, what,
- 39:44Speaker 3: why is this happening?
- 39:45Speaker 2: The algorithm jam like, look, all I know is are
- 39:47Speaker 2: saying women are much more focused and supporting shows by
- 39:51Speaker 2: making sure they're subscribe, and men are dropping off, and
- 39:54Speaker 2: and they're like that's just the way it is.
- 39:57Speaker 3: But you know what, unlike men, I believe in men.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I will let you throw me under the bus on
- 40:02Speaker 1: that one.
- 40:02Speaker 3: There.
- 40:03Speaker 1: It is we'll see you back here.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Don't forget Monday, Wednesday, Friday, best of the weekend, review
- 40:07Speaker 2: on Saturdays. As always, pleasure being with you, and we'll
- 40:10Speaker 2: see you back here in a couple of days
