- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, want and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:10Speaker 1: I got a radio show. Sometimes you wake up and
- 2:15Speaker 1: you're not feeling your best. The reason I'm talking about
- 2:18Speaker 1: this today is because today it is one of those
- 2:21Speaker 1: days for me. You know, you can stay positive, and
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm a very very positive person. Now I'm turning it
- 2:29Speaker 1: around as I speak to you because I've learned a
- 2:32Speaker 1: trick in my life. I've learned a self motivating tool
- 2:38Speaker 1: that I use, and I'm gonna share it with you today.
- 2:41Speaker 1: So if you wake up and you're not quite feeling
- 2:43Speaker 1: yourself that day, as is the case with me today,
- 2:47Speaker 1: if you wake up and you just you know, you
- 2:49Speaker 1: know what the old saying, you just woke up on
- 2:51Speaker 1: the wrong side of the bed, that type of thing.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You haven't one of those days. Here's what I do,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Here's what I've already began to do to turn the
- 2:58Speaker 1: ship around for me. Whenever I'm having one of those
- 3:02Speaker 1: moments while I'm not on point, don't feel all something
- 3:05Speaker 1: seems a little our center, I immediately immediately and and
- 3:09Speaker 1: and and I ain't. I'm I'm not kidding you. I'm
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm in the process of doing it right now. I
- 3:14Speaker 1: immediately start thinking of all the little things, all the
- 3:19Speaker 1: little things that I have that I could be grateful for.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And I start with the fact that the reason I
- 3:25Speaker 1: had to get up this morning. See, the reason I
- 3:28Speaker 1: had to get up this morning was because of you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: the work I do, the job I have. Now, you
- 3:38Speaker 1: may not have a job that you're in love with
- 3:40Speaker 1: like I'm in love with mine. But let me ask
- 3:43Speaker 1: you this right here, suppose you didn't have that job,
- 3:47Speaker 1: Oh man, how would today be? But you could sleep
- 3:50Speaker 1: in a little bit longer, But when you woke up, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: you'd have to be faced with cold realization that, hey man,
- 3:55Speaker 1: I ain't working man, I ain't. I ain't making it
- 3:58Speaker 1: happen for me and mine. I'm not getting it done.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And so with that in mind, I immediately I started
- 4:07Speaker 1: showing some gratitude for waking up and man, just having
- 4:12Speaker 1: having having worked to go do. And then I started
- 4:17Speaker 1: telling myself that, man, he didn't have to do it,
- 4:19Speaker 1: but he did. He woke me up this morning, that
- 4:22Speaker 1: I'm up, I'm actually able, that I'm here again, that
- 4:26Speaker 1: that he ain't through with me yet, that there's really
- 4:28Speaker 1: still things for me to do. Man, okay, cool, I'm
- 4:32Speaker 1: on point with that. I'm on point with that. And
- 4:34Speaker 1: then I just started going over the little things. Man.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You know, my coffee machine wasn't working this morning. I said, Man,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I've been down. I've been fittling with that coffee machine,
- 4:44Speaker 1: trying to get it to work. You know, I couldn't
- 4:46Speaker 1: get it to work. I called somebody, you know, I
- 4:50Speaker 1: get some coffee. It's okay. The ain't the end of
- 4:51Speaker 1: the world, you know, And I was I started thinking about, man,
- 4:55Speaker 1: that I have a place that I can go to
- 4:58Speaker 1: once a year. That's beautiful. And I started thinking about
- 5:01Speaker 1: you know, man, look I got a place that I
- 5:03Speaker 1: laid my head that's mine. I mean, you know, as
- 5:06Speaker 1: my father in law once told me, when somebody came
- 5:10Speaker 1: to see about him and his house was inside his
- 5:12Speaker 1: house talking to him crazy to the police, he said,
- 5:15Speaker 1: listen to me, he said, this is my house. He says,
- 5:17Speaker 1: as mega as it may be, this is my house,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I'm the king of this castle right here. However, meaga,
- 5:27Speaker 1: it may be, this is mine. And you know, when
- 5:31Speaker 1: you start looking at stuff in terms like that, man,
- 5:34Speaker 1: I mean, for me, it's just a trick. I use.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I started feeling better. I started looking around, man, I
- 5:39Speaker 1: started thinking about man, I had I got something to
- 5:41Speaker 1: wear today. You know. I started looking at little stuff. Man,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna have some eggs later on today. I started
- 5:47Speaker 1: looking at other stuff. Somebody is hungry today, See somebody,
- 5:50Speaker 1: somebody don't don't really have an option of knowing what
- 5:53Speaker 1: they're going to have today. I actually have a refrigerator
- 5:57Speaker 1: with an option in it. You know. I started looking
- 5:59Speaker 1: at the little things, man, that God has done for me,
- 6:02Speaker 1: the little things is in my life. And I started
- 6:04Speaker 1: picking myself up. Man. I started feeling a whole lot
- 6:07Speaker 1: better about myself. And see, the more I started telling
- 6:09Speaker 1: it to you right now, the better I'm starting to feel,
- 6:12Speaker 1: because man, is you can you know, I mean, look,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I mean listen to my voice. My my energy is
- 6:16Speaker 1: picking up, my pace is picking up, because now I
- 6:19Speaker 1: didn't hit out of out of hit my rhythm. I'm up.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm glad, I'm up. I'm grateful to be here. I'm glad.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I got a family. I'm glad. God didn't kept my kids.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Glad God kept my wife. You know, I'm glad. You know,
- 6:30Speaker 1: whoever you are, whatever your situation is, God didn't kept
- 6:33Speaker 1: somebody for you on your behalf. That's a benefit to
- 6:37Speaker 1: you or somebody you're trying to teach something they may
- 6:40Speaker 1: finally get it today, or something you've been trying to know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: you may finally know it today. But you got to
- 6:47Speaker 1: accept the blessing of what it is that you know. Now, Okay,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you know, see, if you've been looking for an answer,
- 6:54Speaker 1: a solution to a problem, and then the solution come,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you know you got to be grateful for it. You know,
- 7:01Speaker 1: Lord helped me with this relationship. Maybe today is to
- 7:03Speaker 1: day you find out that that's been the toxin and
- 7:05Speaker 1: the poison in your life, that that relationship is what's wrong. See,
- 7:10Speaker 1: But because we want to hang on to it. Oh,
- 7:13Speaker 1: we try to make it go against everything that was
- 7:16Speaker 1: in us. Now we got this toxic poison in our life.
- 7:20Speaker 1: You know, you may find out today that that's it
- 7:24Speaker 1: that you need to move on. Well, you know, something
- 7:27Speaker 1: that ain't the most devastating thing you could find out.
- 7:30Speaker 1: There's a blessing and a lot of things that that
- 7:32Speaker 1: that looks painful at times. You know, I said it
- 7:35Speaker 1: at best one time, I said, you know, sometimes the
- 7:38Speaker 1: breakup is the blessing for a lot of people, it is, man,
- 7:43Speaker 1: because you know, look, man, you know, you know, we
- 7:45Speaker 1: make choices with who we want to be with. And
- 7:47Speaker 1: sometimes you didn't pick the wrong person. You know, look,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and they don't make that person the bass. That person
- 7:53Speaker 1: just wasn't good together with you. That's all it is.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And so when you come to that realization, sometimes you
- 7:59Speaker 1: know it is time to move on. You got to
- 8:02Speaker 1: be grateful for all of the little things, man, the
- 8:05Speaker 1: fact that you have a way to get around, the
- 8:08Speaker 1: way that you have the read, that you have some
- 8:10Speaker 1: money to go get on, something to go get around,
- 8:13Speaker 1: that you're in school. It might not be going just
- 8:15Speaker 1: perfect for you right now, but guess what, you're in school, man,
- 8:19Speaker 1: you got a shot. You're making it happen. You know
- 8:21Speaker 1: what I'm saying. A lot of people don't have that, man,
- 8:25Speaker 1: A lot of people don't know what the next move is.
- 8:28Speaker 1: At least you're in the process of doing something about it.
- 8:31Speaker 1: And you may not know how to see your way
- 8:33Speaker 1: all the way to the end. But just knowing what
- 8:35Speaker 1: to do what the next step could be for you,
- 8:37Speaker 1: that's good enough. You know. You don't have to know
- 8:39Speaker 1: all the steps. Just what am I gonna do next?
- 8:41Speaker 1: With left? I do this, and I'm gonna take this course,
- 8:44Speaker 1: and I complete this semester, I move on to that semester.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. Look, man, we just
- 8:49Speaker 1: gotta find something to be grateful about today, because in
- 8:52Speaker 1: your gratitude, God blesses you with more. Some of God
- 8:57Speaker 1: sees that we're grateful for the things we have, he
- 8:59Speaker 1: gives us more things to be grateful for. It's simply
- 9:02Speaker 1: the law of attraction. If you're thankful and grateful for
- 9:06Speaker 1: the things you have, you will now attract to yourself
- 9:10Speaker 1: more things to be grateful for. It's the law of attraction.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It works in every aspect of your life, not the
- 9:17Speaker 1: fact that you don't know the rule, it does not matter.
- 9:21Speaker 1: So the thing that you want the most of in
- 9:24Speaker 1: your life, it's the thing that you're gonna have to
- 9:26Speaker 1: give the most up. The things that the thing that
- 9:31Speaker 1: you hope happens to you the most, it's the thing
- 9:34Speaker 1: that you're gonna have to have happened to others the most. Lord,
- 9:39Speaker 1: I want you to cover me. You're gonna have to
- 9:41Speaker 1: cover some people, but I want you to hear my cry.
- 9:45Speaker 1: You're gonna have to hear some people's cries. But I
- 9:49Speaker 1: want more love in my life. You're gonna have to
- 9:51Speaker 1: love more people. I'm talking about real, real love. And
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm not talking about going out fooling around with somebody.
- 9:57Speaker 1: That's that's ridiculousness. And see here's or whatever. Since I'm
- 10:00Speaker 1: talking about love and wrong love and ridiculousness, here's how
- 10:04Speaker 1: you know that it ain't from God. I want you
- 10:07Speaker 1: to hear me. Now, if God is involved in it,
- 10:10Speaker 1: there is no sin. If there is sin involved in
- 10:16Speaker 1: it is not from God. Just remember that rule. It
- 10:21Speaker 1: took me a long time learned that. One. You know
- 10:24Speaker 1: what the Bible says doing tell us that you would
- 10:27Speaker 1: have them do it when they did it to me,
- 10:28Speaker 1: so they must want it done to them. I'm gonna
- 10:30Speaker 1: go down here. I'm gonna do this. If what you're
- 10:32Speaker 1: going to do is a sin, you have now twisted
- 10:36Speaker 1: a Bible verse to fit your method or what you
- 10:38Speaker 1: want to do. To know, simply know that if it's
- 10:42Speaker 1: God's voice just talking to you, or something that's going on,
- 10:45Speaker 1: is in it. Bishop Oldman talked this to me. The
- 10:48Speaker 1: God's voice and God's methods always has no sin in it.
- 10:53Speaker 1: That you all right, have a great day, everybody. You're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people all
- 11:04Speaker 1: around the world. This is the fabulous Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Hey Steve, how are you. I'm good? What's up calling?
- 11:15Speaker 1: Good morning crew? What's up? M M? Did you blackout?
- 11:21Speaker 1: That's for a moment? Morning out? Tom, Eric Rich Uncle.
- 11:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve, So you're fresh backing everything? Day off yesterday,
- 11:37Speaker 1: one day off from taping TV. That's all. It was
- 11:41Speaker 1: a tough run for me. But now I'm gonna go
- 11:43Speaker 1: on another one. So but I'm cool. I'm blessed. I
- 11:47Speaker 1: wouldn't rather have too much work than to be out
- 11:51Speaker 1: here looking for work. So I'm just gonna take this
- 11:54Speaker 1: blessing and go on, cad right on where you need
- 11:57Speaker 1: to be. I won't complain to the law the imme jones.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yes feel no ways time. No, that's how I don't
- 12:18Speaker 1: feel no ways time. I don't know what's the other one? Oh,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I won't complain. I won't. I didn't know you would
- 12:24Speaker 1: love that one because I was in complaining problem you
- 12:29Speaker 1: done don't complain an example? Well, you know people take
- 12:33Speaker 1: my complaining, uh like for example, you all um and
- 12:39Speaker 1: run with it. So I have been learned. I've had
- 12:41Speaker 1: to learn to temperate. You know when I happen because
- 12:44Speaker 1: when we throw it back in your facial champagne. Yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying because all of us said
- 12:51Speaker 1: what it means you wearing about that Captain because you know,
- 12:57Speaker 1: Captain hate to be over that guard one is wrong.
- 13:03Speaker 1: How much we really love you though? You know that.
- 13:07Speaker 1: It's really interesting because you know, because it's like all
- 13:12Speaker 1: the levels. Junior is right where junior is. He's at
- 13:16Speaker 1: the junior level, yeah, of his career. Then you got
- 13:21Speaker 1: Tommy who's at the mid level, and then you got me,
- 13:25Speaker 1: who has done a lot of things that's high levels.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I did a lot of things. Now I've done a
- 13:36Speaker 1: few things. Now stop, you're there, Steve, you have arrived. Okay,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're it. People aspiring you once. You've got a family
- 13:50Speaker 1: that did it for me. I'm like, oh, yeah, he's there.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I've I've done a lot of things. I've done a
- 13:59Speaker 1: lot of That's the beauty of where he is because
- 14:03Speaker 1: he did a lot of things too, you know. Oh
- 14:10Speaker 1: the beautiful the blessing for me is a lot of
- 14:14Speaker 1: my stupid stuff was befol social media and phone camera.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Thank you Lord Holia. Anyhow, no proof? Won't he do it?
- 14:30Speaker 1: All right? Well it is still the show continues, the
- 14:32Speaker 1: ignorance continues. It's time for something funny with Junior. He's
- 14:36Speaker 1: here with truth be told. Absolutely. We'll be back at
- 14:39Speaker 1: thirty two after you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 14:44Speaker 1: All right, it's time for something funny. Junior is here
- 14:47Speaker 1: with truth be told. What you got Junior? Absolutely? Before
- 14:50Speaker 1: I do start, though, I do want to say that
- 14:52Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to going to New Orleans. I will
- 14:54Speaker 1: be performing at the Sigma Gambara Regional Convention and even
- 15:00Speaker 1: laughter with Junior. M Yeah you what? Junior? Hold ups well?
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'm performing at the Southwest Regional Convention for sig Mcgamma
- 15:11Speaker 1: row Uh in New Orleans at the Grand Height Yeah Hotel.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Yeah for the story. They have their conventions, so I
- 15:18Speaker 1: am the guest comedian for the junior that the junior level.
- 15:29Speaker 1: No junior, that's like they're major even of the year.
- 15:33Speaker 1: That's really good. What I'm saying though, is junior, I'm
- 15:36Speaker 1: gonna behave No damn boy, what Steve? They'll get mass No.
- 15:43Speaker 1: But you know, you know what many times I have
- 15:44Speaker 1: started this and he didn't assumed he knew what I
- 15:46Speaker 1: was talking about. No, I know that's at the union level. No,
- 15:50Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say? No, no, boy, Now you
- 15:57Speaker 1: be trying to talk to somebody they think they know,
- 15:59Speaker 1: but they keep getrong, not pissing me off. It's what
- 16:01Speaker 1: it's doing. Okay. All I was thinking is you might
- 16:12Speaker 1: be able to find yourself a wife because we're not expecting.
- 16:20Speaker 1: How are you, junior? You got come on, don't it's
- 16:24Speaker 1: about that time, Steve, It's damned about that time. What
- 16:28Speaker 1: what was left? Tommy just got married? Hey hey girl,
- 16:32Speaker 1: Hey my girl. My player extension with a little longer,
- 16:35Speaker 1: hey player. But Tommy did not really went a little longer. Okay,
- 16:47Speaker 1: let me ask you all the question, and this is
- 16:49Speaker 1: for you, Tommy, because I want to hear everybody's opinion us.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Did you all think Tommy was a good player? No,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I laugh, I didn't. I didn't think. I didn't think
- 17:04Speaker 1: he thought I was pretty decent. Now come on, now,
- 17:07Speaker 1: I wasn't good at all. He was always in trouble. Yeah,
- 17:11Speaker 1: always pranking somebody's husband, you know, just doing crazy stuff.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Too many women. You know, it was just too much, Steve. No,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I don't think. I couldn't name and I would really
- 17:26Speaker 1: have a meeting with you after you did that, because
- 17:29Speaker 1: if you say on the air, that's where we draw
- 17:34Speaker 1: the line. No, no no, no, Tommy, I'm talking about stuff
- 17:36Speaker 1: that has been on the air. Of course. What did
- 17:39Speaker 1: you think, Tommy, your duffel bag of clothes got through outside?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I remember that, Remember that exactly. He was
- 17:54Speaker 1: dating an older woman and her son, who Tommy, would
- 17:59Speaker 1: you were older than her son? Right? Or younger than
- 18:03Speaker 1: her son something like that. Her son didn't like you. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: they jumped on me. Actually, you know which is I
- 18:11Speaker 1: told you all? I told that boy was Oh I
- 18:16Speaker 1: know what it was you wanted him to call you daddy,
- 18:21Speaker 1: and then and then I and then I told him
- 18:24Speaker 1: don't come in his back room with me and your
- 18:26Speaker 1: mama back here. Man, what I say that far? He
- 18:32Speaker 1: was mad at you twenty one years old as I
- 18:38Speaker 1: ain't calling you daddy. You ain't my daddy. But you
- 18:44Speaker 1: just met him now, Yeah, and you're gonna tell the
- 18:47Speaker 1: boy to call you daddy. In a relationship for a
- 18:51Speaker 1: long time, but don't just met him, Tim, He told
- 18:57Speaker 1: the boy he had to call him daddy. So Tommy
- 19:01Speaker 1: and not in a serious relationship with this woman, just
- 19:05Speaker 1: here in the back spanking this boy. Mama. Oh god,
- 19:10Speaker 1: So let me understand this. So y'all have to understand
- 19:14Speaker 1: the dynamics of Tima's relationship with the boys. Mama. It
- 19:17Speaker 1: was nothing, wasn't anything serious, wasn't a committed relationship. Tommy
- 19:23Speaker 1: in the back giving the boy mama or spanking back
- 19:30Speaker 1: what you're saying, ain't that better than spanking in the front?
- 19:33Speaker 1: Why is we in the front room with all that?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Ain't But then you come in the front and meet
- 19:38Speaker 1: her twenty one year old son. Now you want him
- 19:40Speaker 1: immediately to call you daddy? Yeah? Yeah, Yeah, now, did
- 19:48Speaker 1: you warn him? I'm trying to figure out where I'm wrong.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I still how are you gonna ask this boy that
- 20:00Speaker 1: twenty one? Call you daddy? Ain't never met you, He
- 20:05Speaker 1: ain't stupid. He knows what's going on back there, right,
- 20:09Speaker 1: he can hear it. And then you want the ultimate respect?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Called me daddy boy one that they jumped up. Oh yeah,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you didn't know that story, junior? Yeah, ever heard it before? Yeah?
- 20:26Speaker 1: He called me surprised because the board and called his
- 20:29Speaker 1: brother and they didn't jump. He's surprised. Just call me.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I can walk you through it. I swear I want now.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I still know the game, mean just because I'm out.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You didn't know the game when you was let me go.
- 20:46Speaker 1: This whole thing started was did y'all think Tommy was
- 20:49Speaker 1: a good player when he was? All your playoffs stories
- 20:54Speaker 1: ended in this with him escape been within an inch
- 21:01Speaker 1: of his life, each one of them. Yes, your clothes
- 21:05Speaker 1: been outside in a delfel. Remember that time you left
- 21:10Speaker 1: your phone at a strip club getting tired on me?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Now that right there when you got go make me crack?
- 21:29Speaker 1: All right, listen, coming up the nevview is gonna run
- 21:34Speaker 1: that prank back and we have a special guest in

- 27:53Speaker 1: because it got black people to work for me. I
- 27:56Speaker 1: don't want to run them off my car on the name. Okay, Well,
- 27:59Speaker 1: when you go down to the club by yourself, are
- 28:01Speaker 1: you guys in there using it? Look? Come on now,
- 28:04Speaker 1: be honest with me. Are you guys in there using it? Man?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I don't know what about.
- 28:10Speaker 1: But it's not me like you. Look, I got black neighbors,
- 28:12Speaker 1: all right, I ain't. I ain't like that. I ain't

- 28:43Speaker 1: white people of America? How about that? Say we can't
- 28:46Speaker 1: have a long association? Hell no calling me up, call
- 28:50Speaker 1: me ask me question. Okay, I just got one more
- 28:53Speaker 1: thing to tell you. Are you familiar Williams. Yeah, he
- 28:57Speaker 1: works for me. Well, this nephew Tim from the Steve
- 29:00Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got pranked by william You
- 29:08Speaker 1: all right, man, you got kind of ribbed up. Man.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Well man, you brother, he told me, he said, he said,
- 29:15Speaker 1: this white guy is gonna go off. He said, trust me,
- 29:18Speaker 1: he does not use the N word, but just act
- 29:21Speaker 1: like he's been using it and he's gonna go to hell.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Off mans me money anyway, all right, left the cob.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I gotta ask you, man, what's the baddest radio show
- 29:36Speaker 1: in the land. Let me tell you if the Steve
- 29:39Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. And you know how I know because
- 29:41Speaker 1: some black guys said work for me. Have that you're
- 29:47Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yesterday was a
- 29:53Speaker 1: really emotional day as a students from Stoneham Douglas High
- 29:57Speaker 1: School in Parklin, Florida, returned UM. The students have been
- 30:02Speaker 1: demanding action from lawmakers on gun control laws. Well, private
- 30:06Speaker 1: corporations are showing us some action to Uh. This is
- 30:09Speaker 1: some really good news. Dick Sporting Goods, Inc. The store. Uh,
- 30:14Speaker 1: they're taking steps to curtail the sale of firearms, including
- 30:19Speaker 1: ending sales of assault rifles uh and banning the sales
- 30:22Speaker 1: of guns to younger people people younger than twenty one.
- 30:26Speaker 1: The company announced, Uh that was yesterday. Dick Sporting Goods
- 30:29Speaker 1: sold a weapon to the shooter, uh, Nicholas Cruise back
- 30:33Speaker 1: last year. I think it was in November of last year.
- 30:35Speaker 1: And the company Yeah, yeah, the company doesn't want to
- 30:38Speaker 1: be a part of this horrific story anymore. CEO of
- 30:42Speaker 1: Dick Sporting Goods, Inc. Edward Stack, made the announcement yesterday
- 30:45Speaker 1: and Good Morning America also breaking news miss and standing
- 30:49Speaker 1: by with details on Paul Manafort Trump's campaign. Uh. He
- 30:53Speaker 1: was Trump's former campaign manager. Uh. He pled not guilty
- 30:57Speaker 1: to vast money laundering charges and road charges. And also
- 31:02Speaker 1: the President's son in law, Jared Kushner. Did you guys
- 31:04Speaker 1: hear about this lust of security clearance at the White House? Yeah, yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 1: it's going down. Ye all right, Steve. That's big on
- 31:13Speaker 1: the CEO too, to take their gun out of there.
- 31:15Speaker 1: It's really really big, yeah, he said. He. I wonder
- 31:18Speaker 1: what Walmart's position is. Do they sell as salt weapons
- 31:22Speaker 1: at Walmart? Walmart tweeted out they are raising the age
- 31:26Speaker 1: for purchase of firearms and ammunition from eighteen to twenty
- 31:30Speaker 1: one years old. And they are also removing online items
- 31:34Speaker 1: resembling assault style rifles. Now, now we're starting to get somewhere.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I mean, Dix is a great move, but Walmart they're
- 31:43Speaker 1: the largest retailer in the Yeah, because Walmart don't need
- 31:47Speaker 1: nobody money. All right, this is what the CEO said,
- 31:50Speaker 1: take a listen. Based on what's happened and looking at
- 31:53Speaker 1: those kids and those parents, it moved us all unimaginably
- 31:58Speaker 1: and into to think about the loss and the grief
- 32:01Speaker 1: that those kids and those parents had. We said, we
- 32:03Speaker 1: need to do something, and we're taking these guns out
- 32:05Speaker 1: of all of our stores permanently. So yeah, no chance
- 32:07Speaker 1: you're gonna reverse never reverse it. Yep, there you go.
- 32:16Speaker 1: That was CEO of Dick Sporting Goods, Inc. Edwards Stack,
- 32:20Speaker 1: taking a stand. It's just not a gun that's needed, no,
- 32:25Speaker 1: because it doesn't exactly what it says. It's just for assaulting.
- 32:30Speaker 1: It's not for hunting, it's not for sport. You don't
- 32:34Speaker 1: need it for target practice. It's for assaulting. Its name
- 32:39Speaker 1: exactly what it was designed to do to assault. Now, look,
- 32:43Speaker 1: I'm all for people owning guns Second Amendment rights. No, No,
- 32:47Speaker 1: I don't want to put it on the amendment because
- 32:50Speaker 1: see that's what's time whole up. It's a part of
- 32:53Speaker 1: our American Constitution. Yeah, that's what they do. Tie it
- 32:56Speaker 1: to your right. See, we keep talking about the Second
- 32:59Speaker 1: Amendment is all right? Now it's not all right. It
- 33:01Speaker 1: needs to be changed, just like so many other amendments
- 33:05Speaker 1: have been made to this constitution. The Constitution is old.
- 33:09Speaker 1: It was written by old people, and they didn't have
- 33:13Speaker 1: a gun that ran off that many rounds at one time,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and they didn't have a society that we have today,
- 33:18Speaker 1: or where you can get Ammo like you can get ammo.
- 33:21Speaker 1: You know, any of that. It has to change. Did
- 33:25Speaker 1: you hear when Delta Airline said they were gonna stop
- 33:29Speaker 1: the discounts to nr A members going to their meetings.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Now the Republican people who are in charge are now saying,
- 33:38Speaker 1: since they're doing that, we're going to not give them
- 33:42Speaker 1: the tax credit for gasoline since they're gonna stop that.
- 33:46Speaker 1: That's how high up it goes. The hell you're wearing
- 33:49Speaker 1: about a discount on the airplane ticket for a few
- 33:52Speaker 1: people going to a damn n i A meeting, And
- 33:54Speaker 1: now you're gonna keep taxes on them for gasoline prices
- 33:57Speaker 1: which are now everybody else's airline ticket. Yeah, alright, Steve,
- 34:03Speaker 1: And as you calm down, let's bring in methane. Okay,
- 34:07Speaker 1: well right now, okay, thank you. I'll take it like that.
- 34:13Speaker 1: This is a trip morning, and here we go with
- 34:15Speaker 1: the news. The students in Marjorie Stone and Douglas High
- 34:18Speaker 1: School returned to classes yesterday for the first time since
- 34:21Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, when a former student shot and killed fifteen
- 34:24Speaker 1: students in three instructors. It was only a half a
- 34:27Speaker 1: day session. The young people were welcomed with carnations and
- 34:30Speaker 1: hugs from the law enforcement personnel station there. And then,
- 34:33Speaker 1: believe it or not, there was another school incident yesterday,
- 34:36Speaker 1: but with a twist. Authorities in a in a place
- 34:39Speaker 1: called Dalton, Georgia say that a high school teacher barricaded
- 34:42Speaker 1: himself inside of a classroom yesterday with a gun. He
- 34:45Speaker 1: shot once out the window. Luckily, no one was hurt
- 34:48Speaker 1: and that teacher was in custody. Meanwhile, one of the
- 34:50Speaker 1: nation's largest sports retailers, as you just heard, Dick Sporting Goods,
- 34:53Speaker 1: says we will no longer sell assault style of rifles,
- 34:56Speaker 1: and then no one under the age of twenty one
- 34:58Speaker 1: will be sold any kind of gun. Walmart also a
- 35:01Speaker 1: step to stop selling itsualt rifles now will not sell
- 35:03Speaker 1: it to anyone under twenty one. It turns out the
- 35:06Speaker 1: alleged gum and Nicholas Cruz had purchased a gun at
- 35:08Speaker 1: dick Sporting good Store, although that was not the weapon
- 35:10Speaker 1: he used in the massacre at Stoneman Douglas, but nevertheless
- 35:13Speaker 1: that that's how Dick's Sporting Goods their name wasn't and
- 35:16Speaker 1: they wanted to certainly want to get out of that.
- 35:18Speaker 1: White House Communications director Hope Hicks has resigned her post
- 35:21Speaker 1: one day after telling a Congressional committee that she sometimes
- 35:23Speaker 1: had to tell little white lies to protect the Trump administration.
- 35:27Speaker 1: The NFL just into deal, dropping Papa John's Pizza as
- 35:30Speaker 1: an official pie and making Pizza Hut its official brand.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Papa John's founder and president, John Shnatty, you may remember,
- 35:36Speaker 1: ended up on the Football League's bad side last year
- 35:39Speaker 1: when he openly criticized league officials for allowing players to
- 35:43Speaker 1: kneel during the national anthem, and he claimed that his
- 35:45Speaker 1: sales were tanking because of it. However, Pizza Hut said
- 35:48Speaker 1: it sales well up and suggested it maybe Papa John's
- 35:50Speaker 1: product just wasn't good enough. Shnada also turned a lot
- 35:53Speaker 1: of black people off when he promised to lay off
- 35:55Speaker 1: hundreds of his mostly black Papa John's workforce if President
- 35:58Speaker 1: Obama was reelected. Mourners are paying their respects for a
- 36:03Speaker 1: second day to the Reverend Billy Graham as his body
- 36:06Speaker 1: lies and stayed in the Capitol Hill rotunda. Around us
- 36:08Speaker 1: stand the statues of heroes who led the nation in
- 36:12Speaker 1: prayer during the great and difficult times, from Washington to Lincoln,
- 36:17Speaker 1: to Eisenhower to King and today in the center of
- 36:21Speaker 1: this great chamber lies legendary Billy Graham. Of course that
- 36:26Speaker 1: was President Trump. Today is World Compliment Day. So beautiful.
- 36:32Speaker 1: That's a good one for all. You're trying to make
- 36:33Speaker 1: brownie points with you a significant other. With more entertainment
- 36:36Speaker 1: Today's trending topics. Twenty minutes after the hour the Steve
- 36:39Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 37:08Speaker 1: happy for everybody else with a TV show. I'm ready

- 37:36Speaker 1: I can definitely see one. I'm tired time of me
- 37:39Speaker 1: get on it. I'm I'm ready coming right down to

- 37:58Speaker 1: comedy club. It was for Steve. Did nobody else come
- 38:01Speaker 1: befalling my club because they had problems with it? I
- 38:04Speaker 1: called Steve up. Steve say, he came man. He walked
- 38:08Speaker 1: in there. It was only twenty five people. It was
- 38:11Speaker 1: crowded for my club. He said, I only gonna, you know,
- 38:14Speaker 1: show for twenty people. It with all these people, all right?
- 38:18Speaker 1: He woke up in the morning when you radio came

- 39:02Speaker 1: feel that whole damn joined up. Ye showed me how
- 39:07Speaker 1: to do that radio. He said, let's stop by and
- 39:09Speaker 1: get some donuts and some orange ues. Because you know

- 39:16Speaker 1: I got the ball. You gotta go on. Sweet him up.
- 39:19Speaker 1: He went on and sweet him up. That phone was

- 39:26Speaker 1: line was lying so long, looked like we was hiring.
- 39:29Speaker 1: It was all the way down the corner around the
- 39:31Speaker 1: corner was there. It was just me and him, six, eight, ten,

- 52:05Speaker 1: this weekend man, matter of fact. First show, it's to
- 52:08Speaker 1: night Baltimore Comedy Factory. The nephew is in town. One

- 52:15Speaker 1: Got a few more tickets for the night they're talking about.
- 52:18Speaker 1: And the third show. Now I'm listening to how my

- 52:54Speaker 1: comedians every day, they always deferred to you like quake
- 52:57Speaker 1: makes them laugh. He's a comedian. Comedian, yes, he is,
- 53:02Speaker 1: well because he the purest form of it. It comes
- 53:07Speaker 1: from a place always quite comedy, always come from a
- 53:11Speaker 1: place of realness or perspective that everybody can relate to.
- 53:15Speaker 1: He didn't write no jokes about dinosaurs, and e T
- 53:21Speaker 1: won't laugh at this. You could be on the show
- 53:25Speaker 1: with five six comedians. Y'all be in your dressing rooms,
- 53:28Speaker 1: individual dressing rooms. As soon as you hear that quake
- 53:32Speaker 1: grabbed that Mike. Everyone side of the state hear this
- 53:36Speaker 1: food right here it happens is retard. He is retard.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Ain't talking about nobody, kids, and please don't take it
- 53:50Speaker 1: that away his ass to the point where it ought
- 53:55Speaker 1: to be. It ought to be inspirational. Really, I don't
- 54:00Speaker 1: know how to made a story about Wow TV show.
- 54:06Speaker 1: All right, listen, um coming up at the top of
- 54:09Speaker 1: the hour. It's today's Strawberry letter. The subject we already
- 54:12Speaker 1: talked about it. Whose is it? That is the subject?
- 54:15Speaker 1: We love it. We'll be back. You're listening to the
- 54:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it's time for today's
- 54:23Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. And if you're in a situation and you
- 54:26Speaker 1: need some advice, please please submit your strawberry letter to
- 54:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey f M dot com. Steve and I could
- 54:33Speaker 1: read your letter on the air. Who knows, just like
- 54:35Speaker 1: this one? Uh? The subject today is whose is it?
- 54:38Speaker 1: Come on, Tommy, buckle up and hold on time. We
- 54:41Speaker 1: got it for you to strawberry letter. I don't know.
- 54:43Speaker 1: For some reason I love this subject. Whose is it? Uh?
- 54:47Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. This past Valentine's Day started out as
- 54:51Speaker 1: the most amazing day with the man of my dreams.
- 54:55Speaker 1: We plan to go out to dinner, So after work
- 54:58Speaker 1: I went to his condo and wait it for him
- 55:00Speaker 1: to get home. The moment he walked through the door,
- 55:04Speaker 1: we got busy quick and wild style. Afterwards, we pulled
- 55:08Speaker 1: ourselves together and went out to dinner. He gave me
- 55:12Speaker 1: the bottle of perfume that I had always wanted, so
- 55:15Speaker 1: the night was going great. After dinner, we went back
- 55:19Speaker 1: to his condo and had some drinks, listen to some music,
- 55:23Speaker 1: and ended up getting intimate again. The love making was
- 55:27Speaker 1: so intense and passionate this time until he abruptly jumped
- 55:33Speaker 1: up and yelled, what did you say? It took me
- 55:36Speaker 1: a couple of seconds, and then I realized, Oh, my goodness,
- 55:42Speaker 1: I just whispered my ex's name. How did this happen.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I've been divorced for ten years and I have no
- 55:51Speaker 1: contact whatsoever with my ex. My man looked at me
- 55:55Speaker 1: with this hurt, angry, disgusted look and left the bedroom.
- 56:00Speaker 1: This is the second time it's happened. I did the
- 56:04Speaker 1: same thing a few years ago. He eventually forgave me
- 56:08Speaker 1: the first time and we got back on track. But
- 56:11Speaker 1: this time, I don't think it's going to be that's
- 56:14Speaker 1: going to happen. I've apologized over and over, but we've
- 56:17Speaker 1: only spoken twice since then. I'm so mad at myself.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I'm heartbroken and confused. What is wrong with me? Do
- 56:26Speaker 1: you think he will forgive me again? Or is it
- 56:30Speaker 1: best to just leave it alone and walk away? By
- 56:33Speaker 1: the way, we're in our mid fifties, both divorced, and
- 56:36Speaker 1: we've been together for the past seven years. I don't
- 56:39Speaker 1: want to lose him. Please help. Wow, what a way
- 56:44Speaker 1: to mess up for a really good evening. Girl, What
- 56:47Speaker 1: were you thinking? I mean, I can hear you, I
- 56:55Speaker 1: can hear breathe. You guys had a great night. You
- 57:01Speaker 1: say this is a man of your dreams. You guys
- 57:03Speaker 1: have been together for seven years, you've been divorced for ten.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Where did this come from? I mean, did you have
- 57:10Speaker 1: too much to drink? Where you drunk? You know, maybe
- 57:13Speaker 1: you can blame it on that, but yeah, this is
- 57:16Speaker 1: this is kind of crazy. And you you heard his ego,
- 57:19Speaker 1: you know, not just one time. This is the second
- 57:22Speaker 1: time you've done that. How do you think he's supposed
- 57:24Speaker 1: to feel? Uh? It makes him think. I guess from
- 57:28Speaker 1: a man's point of view that you're thinking during the
- 57:30Speaker 1: most intimate time, not about him, but about your ex.
- 57:33Speaker 1: And that's not cool. I don't know how you did that.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You slipped up really badly. He forgave you the second time.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Uh the first time, I mean eventually, I don't know
- 57:44Speaker 1: if he's gonna forgive you this time. I don't know.
- 57:46Speaker 1: It depends on you. Know how you make it up
- 57:49Speaker 1: to him if he allows you to make it up
- 57:50Speaker 1: to him. I don't think that you should just leave
- 57:52Speaker 1: and walk away without you know, doing everything you can.
- 57:55Speaker 1: But you're in your mid fifties, you're both divorced. I mean,
- 58:00Speaker 1: sounds like you have a good thing going. You just
- 58:01Speaker 1: messed it up. You're just gonna have to I don't know, really,
- 58:05Speaker 1: you know, plead and appeal your case to him. Maybe
- 58:07Speaker 1: he'll forgive you a second time. I don't know, Steve, Well,
- 58:12Speaker 1: I don't need to how much time I got how
- 58:14Speaker 1: many minutes? You've got plenty of time ahead, because I
- 58:17Speaker 1: could do this three minutes. I can get all this
- 58:20Speaker 1: seen in one time. Come on, let's just let me
- 58:23Speaker 1: explain something to what happened was has happened to a
- 58:27Speaker 1: lot of men before. But the title of the letter
- 58:31Speaker 1: is whose is it? So obviously he asked the question
- 58:38Speaker 1: in the middle of the session, Whose m is it?
- 58:48Speaker 1: And he said it because he knew he would put
- 58:50Speaker 1: me in work. He had had this thing. Oh moaned
- 58:57Speaker 1: this round to y'all. Back you walk in dough is passionate,
- 59:01Speaker 1: all held and broke blues, then bat your buttons off.
- 59:08Speaker 1: That's when you know it's question right there her buttons.
- 59:17Speaker 1: He couldn't just rip a lot. I'm gonna need two
- 59:20Speaker 1: times to do this because I forgot. I got to
- 59:23Speaker 1: set up. What the hell happened? Y'all came in the room,
- 59:26Speaker 1: tan at each other. The anticipation was incredible. He gave
- 59:32Speaker 1: you perfume that you always wanted. Y'all will walked through
- 59:36Speaker 1: the dough. Y'all got busy, she says in her life
- 59:40Speaker 1: quick and lois style. Lord, you know what wild style?
- 59:46Speaker 1: This all this? When you break spindles off in the banister,
- 59:54Speaker 1: that's where you can't explain how the hell that's not
- 59:57Speaker 1: the refrigerator handle in your on hands? This how wild? Yeah?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Blood that hold the mallet and butcher knife it broke.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: You can't even find that other kitchen chill. You don't

- 1:00:49Speaker 1: work no more It's just I thought this is quick
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and wild style. When you're in there, you can't explain nothing.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: People coming on. What is all the need prints in
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: this car? Girl? Is your knees bleeding? He got a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: zipper print on his cheek. That's how wild it got
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: open there. Now, when I come back, I'm explained to you.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Right in the middle of this wild style while he
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was performing at his eyes level ever before, he asked
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: the proverbial question whose is it? There's a word missing
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: in there, but we all know what he meant. You said,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: whose is it? When I come back, we will go
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: down the list of things you could have said, and

- 1:02:09Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up in twenty three after the

- 1:02:17Speaker 1: come on, let's get to part two of your response
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry letter subject Whose is it? You had

- 1:02:45Speaker 1: saying whose is it? Then this first list. It's because
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: she said something wrong, because in the letter she said
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the Tyler letters, whose is it? In the middle of
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: the letters, she said, he jumped up and said, what
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: did you say? Hmm? So Now after he jumped up
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and said to avoid the what did you say, let
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: me give you, ladies, a list of things that you
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: can say if you're unsure of whose it is? Mm
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: hmm So Tommy, go ahead, whose is it? Oh? Show?

- 1:04:39Speaker 1: those are a list of things that you can use
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to keep yourself out of trouble, that would keep a
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: man engaged, working hard, giving his all. Now here's what
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you can't say. When he asked you, now, his name
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: is Nathaniel, name is my name's Nathan. It's quick name.

- 1:22:48Speaker 1: joke for and like got ready to say, African American
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: men are leading the high percentage because we have this
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: ignorant thing. Ain't nobody touching my butt. But if you don't,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: let nobody touch you. But because prostate cancer can be
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: can be cured if you catch it early. That that's right,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and man, it's it's an. It's an uncomfortable exam, but
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: you can die from this. And it's only three seconds.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Trust me, it ain't at the long three though. I know,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I know one. Mrs it's only three seconds. Mr cb
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: we missr I don't take a three seconds times three
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: seconds seem long to you. Man, as long as three
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: seconds in my life, man, I'm telling you if it's
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: three al, we'll be back with more than Steve Morning, right,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Missippi one. Mr Sip, Mr Cippy too long phone, you're
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Show. All right, Carla, here we go
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: with reality Update. Come on, tell me get ready, get ready?
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: She is here. Carla Ferrol with Reality Date. Okay, thank you, Nephew,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: thank you, Shirley. You guys, okay, okay. Real Housewives of
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Atlanta so quake. Last week we kind of talked about
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: the whole thing with Nini. Have you've been watching this
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: roach gate? Steve looked at this video determined that Nini
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: really don't have roaches at her new house, all the
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: stuff that Kim put out and her daughter Brielle, you
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: guys remember this whole video drama. Anyway, the ladies are
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: in Spain, they're on this trip. They were at brunch
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: and they told Say. Nini told Say that she needs
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: to tell Kim. You know, since you're the bone collector, says,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: you're talking and telling everybody stuff, you need to tell
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: her that she was filed for what she did putting
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: out the video with her daughter, and that you need
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: to let her know that she was filed for that.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Shay said she didn't want to talk to Kim about
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: all of that because she didn't want to tell Kim
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: how to raise her children, her child, because she don't
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: want a body telling her that. So that was that drama. Anyway,
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Cynthia realized that her accommodations for the ladies, you know,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: the house that they were staying in Shirley was not
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: fly enough, you know, so the ladies were not feeling
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the house. They felt like it was whacked. Nini came
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: in saved the day book hotel rooms. So the girls
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: were happy about that out and about they recite seeing
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: around Spain. They were driving around, goat cards they had
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: Porsche had a little fender bender. Did you see that
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: crashing up the boy your baby? Oh yeah, we're screening
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: order or nothing. I'll be good of that. Check this
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: out good, Yeah, your girl, Porsche quake you guys, Marlowe.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Marlow went in and she was very rude, and she
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: was very mean to her. She talked about this welcome
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: matt at her house, saying it was too small. She
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: told her that she had stinky breath, and it's just
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I was on team Porsche at that point. Yeah, she
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: said that her welcome matt at her house was too
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: too small. Yeah, yeah, well maybe maybe it's just because
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I got a big ass dope perspective. Yeah, I just
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: thought that was that was very You go look at
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: the matt in front of our house. I don't know
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: who gave us this matt in front of our house.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: It says Nona and Papa's house. We spawl grandkids. Here's
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: the grandkids. I don't know who the hell gave me
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: that glass man, But you know, I just I just
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: wipe my feet and walk on it. That's what it's
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: for exactly. So anyway, Porsche had this hand fan in
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: her face and she was fanning while Marlowe was talking
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: to her. Marlowe insulting this girl, She grabs her fan.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: Porsche jumps up. You know it's about to go down.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: Security Security comes in to try to break all this up.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: Long story short, Porsche left, Porsche went to talk to Nini.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: It was just too much. All of that was really
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: it was a really good moment though, Carla. Don't you
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: think between Porsche Nini? Yes, she really went to Nini
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: and just said, you know what, I feel like, I
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: can't win in this situation with these women, so them out.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: So Porsche left and the girls you know, kicked it
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: and stayed in Spain. But hit me up on lips by, Carla,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: tell me if you were on team Porsche or team Marley. Yeah, yeah, Carlo.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: Did you hear about Kim Zosiak getting her daughter accustom
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: made gun for her birthday? Kim and Brielle because Brielle
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: is getting ready to move out on her own, so
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Kim bought her a gun. Gun. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: and it's legal. You know it is illegal, but yeah,
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: she got her gun for her protect because she's moving
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: out on her own. So that's reality update. You're listening
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, we're here
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: the whole Steve Harvey Morning Show with our special guest
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: family member Earthquake. Yes Si in the build. Dude, glad
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: you stopped by the day. Well, do you know I'm
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: gonna stock you. Y'all are doing so well, I said,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: let me come by and let you, But don't forget
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: about your whole cousin. I know I love you that
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: you know I love you. This Friday, come see me
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: at the Cots Auditorium arena. I'm sorry, and um, Oklahoma City,
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: don't get that money in Oklahoma, said there, and Rochester
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Auditorium in Rochester, New York. So come see your brother
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: this weekend, Friday and Saturday. I think I got one
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: ticket left, just one. Oh, I get that money on
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: that end. Trying to spread out this one job. Ain't
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: getting it Okay quick, I have a question for you.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: And Steve have known each other for a very very
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: long time. Yeah, Steve keeps toying with the idea of
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: stepping back into the stand up arena. You know he
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: left it a few years ago in Vegas. We were
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: all at its final show. Yes, it's farewell show. I
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: was there and I looked up there and I was
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: the same way. I said, no, it's too early. Yes,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: he's great, And I'm not just saying that because I'm
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: on it you can just I just watched him. Steve
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: used to sit back and just tell all the comedians
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: what they need to do. Steve was blunt with it'll
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: tell us something. You ain't gonna make it. You ain't
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: ways your true. We ain't got what it takes. Is
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: any of them here? None? I thank you, he used
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: to tell him. He used to sit back and we
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: just sitting there. Me, there's white, the rest of sitting
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: in this club four hundred people. Man, it's back and
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: it's in. But he's always was able to take any
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: subject and elaborate on it and just go on it.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: And that's what I took from him and see why.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: And I watched him from that point on and just
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: take a subject like a lock and just let it
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: just morph larger and larger and larger. And I took
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: it from there. And I remember one time then he
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: was writing. He might don't even remember that I was
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: writing this down. He said, what you're doing, say, man,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: I'm writing this joke. You just grab a paper, put
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: it throughout the window. What you're doing, man, you don't
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: need the right heels, come straight out your mouth, ready,
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: do you the way you are? I haven't done it.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I haven't done in no other way since believed in it.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: From that point on, I never knew what I say
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: when I'm getting on stage, because you never know. You
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: just hope it comes out like as supposed to. Because
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: if I sit back here and say, that's why I
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: like to come and go straight on stage and I
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: just wait around other people messed with my environment. But boom,
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: I got that from him. Wow. So you think that,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: knowing all that you know about Steve, he's ready. He
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: still got it. He could, to be quite honest with you,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: And I'm I told every week. Can he could walk
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: out of his bed right now and handle anybody that's
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: out here just off the top hand. All right, you
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: heard it from one of the best. He needs to
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: go meet you, Junior and crazy over here to Nephew. Yeah,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: that I'm hosting. Don't get his chops on up and
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: and Jay and do Steve Harvey and family. I like it.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: But the tour just gonna be on Wensday. That's all right, up,
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: that's all right, got to do all up, that's all right.
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: We take a way I do that new We get it. Steve,
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: You got to think about that. I could one of
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: the best in the could do something. In September October,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: we'll be back with our last break of the day.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: We'll say goodbye the quake for the moment, and then Steve,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: you have some closing remarks. You're listening. She's Steve Harvey
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, here we are, last break of
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the day. It's been a good morning, good morning. Yeah,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: thank you quick for stopping for thank you do it
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: more often, man, please anytime you call. Alright, brother, appreciate you. Man. Alright, Steve,
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: just one more thing. Closing remarks. You know yesterday I
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: did oh, I clowned on my closing remarks. I did
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: Roscoe Wallace, which I enjoyed thoroughly. Thing and get here. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: But there was a school who listens to the show
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: for the closing remarks and they were upset that I
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: did closing remarks. No more Roscoe. We want them closing remarks.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: And so that's what they said. I know. So I'd
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: like to apologize to Hardy Middle School in Jackson, Mississippi
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: for being irritated at me because I didn't do so
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: they affected me. They affected me, and I just said, okay,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you're right. So closing remarks. It is so
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: so um here it is my closing remarks today about
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: the effort that it takes to become successful. And in
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: case you're confused about it, let me clear up the
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: myth that if you want to be successful in this country,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: or you want to be happy financially in this country,
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: it requires an all out assault on your behalf to
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: attain it. I'm going to say it again, it will
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: require an all out assault in order for you to
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: attain it. If you want to be successful in the
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: United States of America. Really, I don't care where you are,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: but I'm just talking because the show is here. If
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: you want to be successful in this country, financially successful,
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: it is going to take an all out an assault
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: on your behalf. Success is not easy. I'm not gonna
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: paint this picture for you that all anybody can do it.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: Anybody can do it who's willing to apply themselves the
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: right way. But if you're not willing, if you think
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: there's a short cut, I have news for you, it's not.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: You have got to start getting doggish about your own success.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: You have got to make success and absolute requirement. Failure
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: is not an option. Now, listen to me, you will
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: fail the whole time you're trying to be success. But
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: to allow that failure to consume you, stop you, drop you,
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: sink you. That's unacceptable because failure is really just a
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: valuable learned gained experience. That's all it is. It's not
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: an end all for you. So let me help you
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: understand something. Let's start with eight hours of sleep, as
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: you've heard most medical people say is required to live
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: a healthy life. Those people who put out their survey
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: are not wealthy people. I can assure you that because
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: let me explain something to you, and I've talked to
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: a lot of well off people. If you are not
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: where you want to be in life financially, you can
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: ill afford to be asleep eight hours a day. If
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: you are sleep for eight hours a day, you are
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: sleep a third of your life. It's only twenty four
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: hours in a day. Eight hours is a third of that.
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: If you are asleep a third of your life is
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: nowhere in the world you'll be successful. You can't. There's
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: a script it that's saying something to this effect that
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: people who love to sleep, who love the folding of hands,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: poverty will set upon you like a thief. In the night.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: It says in so many words that that's not it exactly,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: but that's like the New Testament, meaning that new version.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: If you love to sleep and you love the folding
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: of the hands, just sit around with your hands folded,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: poverty will set upon you like a thief in the night.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Now let me ask you a question out there, how
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: many of you, just with us talking, how many of
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: you know someone who loves to sleep? I think that
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: would be all of you. All of you know someone
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: who loves to sleep. Now, let me ask you something
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: ain't a poe. The answer is yes. Scripture proven period.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: It requires an effort. You are going to start to
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: have to eliminate some of the junk from your life.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: You can't be at every happy hour every day. You
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: can't be at every party they throw. You can't smoke
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: one every day. You can't watch every TV show that
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: comes on every Wednesday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and never miss
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: an episode. You cannot do that and be successful because
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: now you're putting yourself on somebody else's schedule, and the
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: timing of their schedule has nothing at all to do
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: with your success. Think about it. So, what you watch
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: scandal every day. The people on Scandal already successful. If
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: you're watching a particular show every day, every time it
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: comes on, and you have a series of those shows,
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: you're scheduling your life around other people's success. You can't
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: be tending to your success. If you on front of
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: the boob to watching other people's success, it cannot happen
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: to be successful. It takes a massive all out of sault.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: Stop messing around, take as much, eliminate as much trash
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: from your life as can as you can, and apply
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: it to where you are trying to go. It will
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: serve you well, my friends, to put forth a massive effort,
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: because that's what it takes to be successful. Those are
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: my clothing re marks today. I want to say thanks
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: to the Hardy Middle School in Jackson, Mississippi, for bringing
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: me back on around. I slipped off yesterday. I'll just
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: being ignorant. It felt good to me. I wouldn't sing
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: I Saint get here all day long today. Yeah, y'all
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: have a great weekend, y'all. For all Steve Harvey contests,
